Coming into Thursday;s match against the CCBC Essex Knights, the MC Raptors knew they had
a tough road ahead.
The Raptors were shorthanded - injuries to three key starters left them with a very short
bench.
And to make matters worse, the D3 Raptors were facing a very physical D1 Essex team,
who came in with a 6-1-1 record.
And Essex jumped out on top with a quick goal by Erin Moran off a nice cross from Tiana
Hapsis.
But MC answered with a quick one of their own 4 minutes later.
Maggie Prokop took a pass, weaved her way through the Essex defense, fired, it was deflected,
but Kiara Simpson was there to loft in the rebound to tie it up.
Moments later Essex on the attack, but in a portent of things to come MC Keeper Delmy
Perez with a great stop on a point-blank attempt.
But then almost immediately Lindsea Webb got behind the Raptor D and powered it in to put
Essex back up 2-1.
And then 3 minutes later, the Knights struck again when Bailey D'Amico worked her way down
the sideline for an unassisted goal.
But MC answered to cut into the lead when after a free kick, Prokop again worked her
way thru the Essex D, lofted a pretty ball in front of the goal and Gabriella Fernandez
was there to head it in and make it 3-2 Essex.
But Essex answered with another to take a 4-2 lead and would have had one more if not
for MC's Perez, Hapsis slipped behind the defense; it's one on one, just her and Perez,
but Perez with the brilliant stop to deny the almost sure goal.
And that put a capper on the first half.
The Knights continued to add to their lead in the second half, but in my opinion, the
real story was MC's never quit effort and the Raptor's Keeper, Delmy Perez.
Yes, Essex added 3 more scores, but Perez was remarkable in goal, nonetheless, making
stop after stop on attacks and set pieces as the depleted Raptor defense just had no
answer for the powerful Knights.
And to make matters worse, several more Raptors went down with injuries during the match,
but played hurt because there were simply no reinforcements on the bench.
But the Raptors effort never faltered and Perez personified that with her inspiring
play and the Raptors were rewarded in the 86th minute when Maggie Prokop lofted one
in from outside the 18.
So a tough day for MC and a solid win for Essex, but what I take out of this one is
that this MC team is made of strong stuff, they're a gutsy bunch and when they get healthy
no one is going to want to play them.

13 Psychology Tricks That Work ON ANYBODY - Duration: 4:58.
13 Psychology Tricks That Work ON ANYBODY
It is true that every human being in the world is unique, but do you know that actually our
psychological behaviour will be similar if we are faced with certain circumstances?
Psychologists who have a keen eye for details keep discovering new behavioral patterns that
are believed to be rooted in our childhood and can be applied to everyone.
In this video, I'm going to share with you about some psychology tricks that really work
on anybody.
Like usual, if you find this information is helpful to you, make sure to like this video
and subscribe to this channel so you won't miss any interesting update in the future
guys!
Number 1.
To find out if a person likes you, pick a word and every time he or she uses this word
or synonymous word phrases, nod and smile.
If he or she does like you, watch him or her start using the word all the time.
Number 2.
Win everytime you do a 'Rock-paper-scissors' with your friend!
To win at the 'Rock-paper-scissors' game, right before playing it, ask your opponent
a random question.
Most of the time your confused friend will throw 'scissors.'
Number 3.
Do you want people to take your words seriously?
Every time you tell them something, say that your father taught you this.
People tend to believe parents' advice inherently.
Number 4.
If a certain song is stuck in your head and you would love to forget it, try to think
of the end of the song.
According to the Zeigarnik effect, our brain tends to remember the things that we've
left unfinished.
So if you think of the end of the annoying earworm, you will be able to get it out of
your head.
Number 5.
If you want people to agree with you, just nod and maintain eyecontact while you're
talking.
'The nod' sign means 'everything I'm saying is true.'
Plus, following social behavior patterns, people tend to nod back.
Number 6.
Have you ever wished the subway wasn't that crowded in the morning?
In crowded places look right in front of you, in the direction in which you're going.
You will be impressed watching the crowd literally give way to you.
This trick is very easy to explain: in crowded places we tend to look other people in the
eyes so that we know which direction someone is going.
We take the opposite way so not to run into each other.
Number 7.
Your friend will most likely help you carry, let's say, a box of your stuff if you continue
talking while handing over the box.
The majority of people won't even notice you're handing them something and will take
it.
However, some people more attentive and less close to you may get pretty confused.
Number 8.
Want your kids to eat broccoli?
Go ahead and ask them if they want two or five stalks of broccoli instead of asking
them if they want broccoli.
Thus, you've made your mind and chose broccoli for their lunch, but they feel like they have
really made their own decision.
You can use the same old trick in different situations.
Number 9.
If you have the feeling that someone is watching you, just yawn and look around.
If someone is really stalking you, they will yawn too, since yawning is highly contagious.
Number 10.
If you know you're going to shake hands with someone, make sure your hands are warm
enough.
Warm hands promote a friendly atmosphere while cold handshaking will trigger the opposite
effect.
Number 11.
If you want someone to help you, start your phrase with the words, 'I need your help...',
People hate feeling guilty and that's why they won't be able to refuse to help.
Number 12.
Whatever your friend has just said, paraphrase it and say it again.
The person who talks to you will subconsciously get the feeling you are a really great listener.
Just don't go too far with the paraphrasing thing.
Number 13.
If you believe a person doesn't like you, ask if you can borrow his pencil or pen.
On one hand, people tend not to help those whom they don't like, but on the other hand,
it's such a small favor that your 'hater' most likely won't be able to say 'No'.
Eventually he will come to the conclusion that you're not that bad.
Well, that's the 13 psychology tricks that work on anybody.
Really cool tricks isn't it.
Hopefully these tricks will positively affect your communication skills and make your life
easier in some way.

URBAN LANDSCAPE photography - Duration: 13:14.
good morning everyone back in Dallas again this morning I am here to do an
exterior shot Museum is back over there and we're going into a building up here
if this weather will hold out it's awfully cloudy
I have to say the parking
situation downtown could be much improved
and less expensive
that ended up going really well it is overcast out here but it's not
completely overcast and I actually think this ended up working pretty well I was
convinced we were gonna have to come back out a second time and reshoot but
we got it of course that's up to the client
so I'm obsessed with the idea of lunch here so got a kill a little time first
but since we have a minute to kill I'll show you where we are this is actually a park
that is built over a freeway when I was a kid growing up for years we referred to
this as the canyon because it all just went underground well they built a park
up at the top and it's surrounded by the Arts District on one side on the other
side you have hipster expensive apartments there's like two restaurants
in here that are excellent lots of mirrors here's the museum I worked in
for seven years is it just me or do these two sculptures look like bird sh…
whole slew of food trucks and some more food trucks that's the opera hall and
behind that is where I went to high school you can sort of see the Symphony
Center back there this new building whatever that is is now in the way
sculpture center Asian Art Museum
Oh tough choice here or there
we're going to the Phoenix
enchiladas check
time to head back to the fort you know
in the last vlog a lot
of you complained about the highway footage and yeah it's a long drive
between Dallas and Ft Worth but just for you guys we're gonna cut to the chase I
won't do highway footage today mainly because I forgot the dashcam I need to
work on that - I need to like pimp this car out so like when it gets a little cooler
we'll find a cooler set up for this but anyway let's go ahead and head back to
Fort Worth right now
no… wait
oh, not yet
there we go so let's go in and see what we got
oh these guys
I'm a construction magnate
like seriously it follows me everywhere
okay so essentially this is an urban landscape so my plan here was to end up
with a composite image that had the maximum depth resolution that I could
possibly crank out of this and so what I did was a series of images that are
stitched together in Lightroom at the end and I'll show you how to do that in
a second the lens I chose for this is the Zeiss Loxia this is the f/2 35mm
it is a Sony mount it is incredible and so essentially what I do
is go through and just do a series of three or six images that are just side
by side that are going to be stitched together in the end now the key to this
is making sure that your exposure is identical on every one of these images
so what you want to do if you want to do this is go through and find the
brightest spot in your image and sometimes with landscapes you've got the
Sun in there you've got to find that and you've got to expose for that and then
that's the exposure you're going to use throughout and I'll explain how we get
into this in Lightroom next thing you're gonna want to do I'm going to show you
how to do this in Lightroom is you're gonna want to actually apply any lens
correction profiles that Lightroom offers if that's a possibility there are
some cameras like Panasonic and Fuji for instance that do it internally in-camera
and that's fine you can just use them straight off the camera but if you're
using something else like Canon Nikon Sony what you want to do is go in and
manually select those lens profiles and what that will do is it'll help you with
them in the vignetting and any distortions that you have and it'll make it easier for
the algorithm to stitch those together okay so we're in Lightroom now and I
want to make a couple points about this image first of all as I said before this
is not the client image and the reason I'm telling you that actually there are
two reasons that it will get to but first of all this is shot the opposite
direction from the landscape that I was actually shooting for the client they
asked me what my preference of time of the day was and it was kind of a favor
that was called into a business that has two floors in this high-rise on the
other side and I said well we want to shoot it in the morning knowing where
the sunrises and knowing where the building is and they said fine and so before I left
I did a couple shots so I could use the same technique to illustrate to you guys
in this video but it is shot in the opposite direction I was in a hurry and
it was overexposed and you can tell because if you look in the sky here
you're seeing some blown highlights so I didn't have time to bracket this at this
point because the priority unfortunately was not doing this video it was doing
the job for the client but I want to show you at least the process but the
point I want to make though is that even though this was overexposed
a lot of it was recoverable because of the settings that I chose to use so you
can see what I used over here this is actually the final stitched panorama it
makes a dmg file and this was one sixtieth of a second at f/8 at ISO 100
and the Sun is right here over the Chase building so but you could still see even
though that it was somewhat backlit I was still able to recover a lot in this
image and that is a key because there are two things that you have control
over when you're shooting basically an urban landscape or any kind of landscape
for that matter the first one is ISO and ISO as most of you guys probably know is
a metaphor in the digital world for what we dealt with in film sensitivity and so
typically if you're gonna get the most detail the most information out of the
image that you possibly can you want to shoot at the cameras base ISO now that
may be very conservative by today's standards because cameras are really
good with higher gain settings or higher ISO settings but anyway I shoot at the
base ISO and the other thing is I definitely wanted the lens at f/8 that
it's just it looks really good at f/8 everything's sharp you could shoot at
f/16 this lens doesn't have the aberration problems that some lenses do
but anyway f/8 was my choice so the shutter speed is all I'm left to deal
with and we're shooting into the Sun and if this were the shot that I were trying
to get this is not the time of the day that I would have tried to get it which
was in the morning so anyway with that being said though this is the final
stitched image and you can see that there's a lot of detail even if i zoom
in you can tell it retains a lot of detail and I wouldn't have chosen this
time of day like I said to shoot this particular image this is the opposite
way the way I was shooting but anyway just to tell you how I did this so this
is basically a stitched panorama based on six images that I took and so if you
go look at the original images here they are so real exciting here but you can
definitely tell that I'm slightly overexposed with that sky blowing out
but when you do these you want to create enough of an overlap so that Lightroom
or Photoshop or however you're stitching these the algorithm can tell what's
trying to be stitched together and so it needs information that is similar in
each image so if that makes sense so they need to overlap slightly is my
point if they definitely don't overlap it can't invent it the image that's not
there so you're gonna have a problem so what you basically do to do this is you
select all six images and you do control+m
and it's going to bring up a panorama
merge preview now there are three choices you have here in algorithms and
they are spherical cylindrical and perspective and these are based on how
the image is mapped out and so it could be very different if you're using a
drone to go in a spherical pattern anyway so you want to choose the correct
one the correct one in this case because I'm simply just like hand holding this
and just moving the camera over is going to be perspective of course if you click
on any one of these you can see a preview so you can always experiment
with it from there and then what you want to do is just click merge and I've
already done - I'll say cancel and it will give you a DNG composite of those merged
six images so what you end up with is very much a higher resolution image than
your camera and of course I'm using the sony a7s on this and so that's kind of
part of my thinking on this if I had a higher megapixel camera the original a7s
is only 12 megapixels you know feel free to go wild but in my case I have
a lower megapixel count and I want a really high megapixel image in the end
and so I could have gotten even higher than this there are different ways you
could go about it but I really love this whole concept of working with composited images
so that is essentially my approach to landscape photography I am a
big fan of stitching in this instance because what I want to do is be able to
retain the maximum amount of detail that I possibly can out of a single image
even though it's six all stitched together but it is a cool technique and
if you want to try it yourself remember it is really important to get things
right in the camera before you do the stitching in post and when you're kind
of going around you want to find the brightest area of the image and make
sure that you retain those highlights and I know this was kind of a weird
example because I was doing something for a client and so that's where my
attention was and then I wanted to have something to share with you guys so I
kind of flipped around the opposite direction which was not ideal and I
didn't get the time to bracket it appropriately but you get my point the
main things that you want to remember to have your camera at the base ISO that
is really important because any gain that you start to introduce will start
to degrade the image quality somewhat of course in the modern age this is a
little different than it was 10 years ago the other thing you want to remember
is to have your aperture set at f/8 this will avoid any
kind of aberration distortion and it's also not too shallow so you won't have
any depth of field issues okay so one other thing that I want to mention is I
am NOT Joe Landscape and don't claim to be and I want to recommend you two
channels on YouTube that definitely are although I wouldn't call them Joe
Landscape the first I want to mention is somebody that I've known online for
years his name is Ben Horne he has an amazing channel he does
behind-the-scenes and vlogs he shoots film shoots eight-by-ten if you've never
seen an eight-by-ten negative or positive you are missing out I've only
kept to Ben's channel in the show description make sure you check that out
another gentleman I would highly recommend is Thomas Heaton and if you
haven't seen Thomas he does a lot of vlogging a lot of behind the scenes on
how he's getting the shot and he goes to some really amazing locations both those
gentlemen are awesome check them out I will see you guys on Monday we have
photo assignments and this week is going to be really good so until then I'll
catch you Monday later

Lucie Fink Tries Bellydancing For The First Time | Try Living With Lucie | Refinery29 - Duration: 4:58.
Hey guys! It's Lucie!
Welcome back to Try Living With Lucie: Dance Edition.
Any guesses to what today's dance style is?
Here. Let me give you a hint.
Woo!
Okay.
You probably know the dance style
just from the title of the video.
So I'm going to stop.
Belly dancing.
Oh!
Before today, I was entirely unfamiliar with belly dancing,
its origins, its history, its traditions.
But after meeting with Salit, everything changed.
Salit is a belly dancing and fitness instructor
in New York City who has been performing for
over a decade.
I love the self expression.
I love the movement.
I love the music and the whole culture around it.
She started with the basics for me by
explaining that belly dancing was originally a
Middle Eastern folk dance.
And actually, "belly dance" is not the correct term
for this type of dance, it's a Western term.
We call it "Raqs Sharqi," which in Arabic means
"Eastern dance" or "Oriental dance"
or "Middle Eastern dance" because it originates
from different countries around the Middle East.
Today we met on a New York City rooftop
for a private lesson and she taught me a more
modern version of belly dancing that
involves a ton of popping to the beat.
We're going to do light stretching just
to warm up our body and get it moving.
So we're waking up our hips.
Hips opening.
Oh!
You have to work from your hip.
This dance style is a lot harder than it looks.
It had some similarities to Salsa
with the hip popping elements.
—Good. –I have a cramp.
But for some reason,
I felt extremely uncoordinated doing this one.
I was popping my hip out of rhythm.
Kick. Drop. Kick. Step. Hip.
Keep your balance.
Stay up.
Tripping over my own feet.
Moving in the wrong direction.
Are you breathing?
Yeah, I think so.
At one point, I actually thought, you know,
I don't have enough going on here and here
to really do this dance properly
the way it's meant to be done.
A little bit faster.
One, two, one, two.
Forward. Forward. Yes!
I could use some bigger breasts for this.
But Salit assured me that Middle Eastern dance
or belly dance is for everyone.
That's the thing about this dance.
It doesn't matter what kind of body type you have.
Everything works.
Woo!
Yeah.
And that brought my confidence right back up.
Hip. Step. Hip.
Yes, Lucie. Good.
Belly dancing is not only about the belly.
It's a full body dance.
So sure you're moving your hips and your belly,
but there are also arm movements and
leg movements and curving, slanking hand motions.
So these are our waves and we can take them here.
You can cross in front of you.
As Salit explained to me,
belly dancing began as a folkloric dance.
Danced in homes and very simple and
repetitive movements that were not
suitable for the stage.
It wasn't until Hollywood was introduced to Egypt
that the glamorous costume styles
arose and the dance style evolved
to appeal to Western visitors.
Then it was time for the costume.
How do I look?
Woo!
Salit put me in a bedlah,
which is the costume most commonly associated with
belly dancing.
There was a skirt with a hip belt attachment
and a bra top.
And it was very revealing.
And it was just strapped on there by some hooks.
So it was a little precarious at times.
But putting on the outfit, I was like,
"Okay. Wow."
Now I'm in the groove and I'm ready
to take this dance to the stage.
I have to say.
I did not find this dance style to be easy.
There was even a full section in
the music for improvisational dancing, which was a little
bit scary at first.
But ultimately, very freeing.
I mainly just mimicked what Salit was doing next to me.
In order to do this dance properly,
you really need to let loose.
Yes!
That's my best time yet!
But just like when I did my hip hop dance class
on the rooftop, I had no mirror.
So having no mirror,
makes it so much easier for you to forget about
what you look like and just
move based on what feels right.
You can't see yourself so you can't judge yourself.
We learned this in like half an hour
and it's really fast moves, pretty complex, and she
picked it up like that.
At the end of the lesson,
I was reminded how much fun it is to break out
of the mold of what's ordinary for you.
A belly dancing class is something
I never thought to try before.
All I know is I had a great day.
And honestly who's to say,
but maybe belly dancing will become my
new after work activity.

My first TRUE 35mm Film Photography Experience! - FILM PHOTOGRAPHY IN 2017?! - Minolta X-370 Review - Duration: 4:23.
I'm in the "Wired in generation."
While I grew up as the internet was forming, my entire life has been spent with the wonders
of digital being thrown in my face, and then finally brought to life.
But I was born at just the right time where I still had to use some of the analog ancestors.
VHS tapes for video, cassette tapes for music, CRT TVs - and, of course, film cameras.
I used a LOT of those cheap disposable cameras that you could get developed at Walgreens.
Well, nostalgia is one hell of a drug, and I've always had a soft spot for film photography,
but was too scared to jump in on my own.
That was until my grandfather sent over a camera bag full of his camera gear from back
in the day.
A battery-powered flash, some crazy filters, grips, cases, a zoom lens, and the star of
the show - the Minolta X-370 SLR with a 50mm f 1.7 prime lens.
This bad boy was made in 1984 - according to what information I can find online - and
is pretty sweet.
Honestly, I can't imagine a better starting point for me to get into film photography.
It has an electronic shutter for auto exposure, allowing me to just focus on aperture and
focusing, while it handles the shutter speed.
I also have a Nikon FM2 that I've been too afraid to try due to being full manual, heh.
The typical silver and black body is quite heavy, but it feels very nice in the hands.
Makes a lot of DSLRs from today feel like cheap knockoffs.
The battery is easy to replace and has lasted a long time for me.
Film is easy enough to load and reload, once you get used to it.
It does look like a motorized rewinder is an option, though I don't own one for this
body.
It has a self-timer and exposure lock, too.
The viewfinder is easy to look through and check focus, though changes in aperture are
not reflected - which is why I rely on the auto shutter heavily.
Being used to digital cameras instantly reflecting changes, this took some getting used to.
There's a little dust on the mirror, but nothing noticeable in the shots.
So far, I've only shot this with Kodak Portra 400 film and the 50mm MD lens it came with.
This lens is a beauty - sharp, easy to focus and adjust the aperture, and opens up to f
1.7.
I am in love with this lens and I am hoping to get a speedbooster for it soon to see what
it looks like opened up a stop at 4K on my Panasonic G7 - but that's an adventure for
another day.
My shots are all developed by thedarkroom.com.
They're not a sponsor or anything, they're just the site I found during my research and
I've been very satisfied with the results.
I just mail my rolls off and wait a few days and they deliver up to 30 megapixel scans
ready for me to download.
I do wish they could deliver full TIF files, but the jpegs at 30 megapixels are plenty
fine for me to tweak in Lightroom.
My first 35mm shooting experience was a great one.
The shots I can get out of the Minolta X-370 blow me away.
I've owned a lot of point-and-shoots, a DSLR and a mirrorless, and this is by far
my favorite body to shoot stills on.
The shots all have this nice, organic feeling to them.
Punchy contrast, and just the "right" amount of softness, in my opinion.
With digital cameras, I feel like you can't achieve a "soft" feeling without things
seeming out of focus - whereas on film you can still plainly see subject-background separation
while having a nice soft feel to the image.
And, of course, dat magical grain.
Never enough film grain.
All of this is subjective, vague language, but I freaking love my shots from this.
I will still shoot digital some, of course, but I look forward to every opportunity to
put this camera to work and take great shots.
For future experiences, I hope to do more shooting with the zoom lens in my grandfather's
kit, try out some of the crazy filters and such that he had, as well as maybe pick up
some cheap lots of expired film.
One day I will test out that Nikon FM2, but today is not that day.
-- I hope you enjoyed this video.

When we need to repair a broken push-button scene, we would rather keep it a few days longer at our workshop than having to repair it again within the next 2-3 years.
Today is monday and over the weekend, many push-buttons tend to get broken, because we are not able to check them daily.
This morning, Sönke gave me the slackline and said: "It is broken. Fix it!"
I first need to thread one side of the reel, which is not that easy.
Now he is supposed to move from one side to the other.
There it spins.
With the slackliner on top, there is an additional weight to the rope.
So the rope spins around the slackliner.
Beneath the ground, there are neodym magnets.
And directly under the slackliner, there is also a small magnet.
Jenny, Lasse and Nina are already gone to push all of the buttons.
Hello! Where did you start?
At the fair.
Alright!
Can you check Knuffingen? I have not been there yet.
Sure!
We check our push-buttons every morning to be sure that all of them work properly.
We do that before opening the exhibition so we still have time for repairs.
We try to build everything as lasting as possible.
When we need to repair a broken push-button scene, we would rather keep it a few days longer at our workshop than having to repair it again within the next 2-3 years.
The knight's fight is warming up.
It is doing what?
It takes some rounds until it finally stops.
What???
Nina started the knight's fight which did not stop for 3-4 rounds eventhough it is supposed to stop after the first one.
I checked it again and it worked without any problems.
Classical demo effect.
Yes, it is chaotic, but that is usual for a creative process.
Wild ideas are coming up and the chaos gives you new input and thoughts.
When I am working on 3-4 push-buttons at the same time and therefore need to communicate with other departments, it sometimes gives me new ideas.
Sometimes I get new ideas for push-buttons I worked on two weeks ago.
I would strengthen this one to create more stability.
I will take this one with me to build it in.
Then we can see if it works.
I will also flatten the tyre, we just won't have a round one.
Function is more important than optics.
Alright, very nice!
I have got an allotment where I like to spend a lot of time.
Here you are always surrounded by lots of people and loud noises.
That is perfectly fine for me. Maybe because I have got my calm garden as a balance where I can be on my own or spend time with my wife.

How To: Pre-Treat & Deep Clean Ju-Ju-Be Diaper Bags + Accessories! A Step by Step Tutorial - Duration: 5:43.
Hey, everyone!
I'm Kate Schwanke and welcome to my Channel.
Today I have a new How-To video for you guys for How To Deep Clean your Ju-Ju-Be.
So if your bag recently went through a mud run, you bought it well loved off of the BST
and it seems like it's beyond saving or if your bag has a bad smell to it, this video
is for you.
So here is what you're going to need.
The First thing you're going to need is your very, very dirty Ju-Ju-Be bag.
And mine's actually been used for soccer recently, so it's got grass stains it's got dirt it's
got all kinds of yucky stuff that I want to get out in a nice deep cleaning.
The next thing you're going to need is your OxiClean Stain Fighter Spray, you will also
need Vinegar if your bag is stinky, you will need some blue Dawn, some Hydrogen Peroxide,
a good bristled toothbrush, and some baking soda.
There's a lot of ingredients.
And you will also need a mixing cup, and you will need some OxiClean stain fighter powder
to deep clean your bag.
You may also need a deep, large tub to soak your Ju-Ju-Be in if you don't have a large
sink or if you don't have a sink inside of your laundry room.
All of the products mentioned in this video will be listed down below for you guys.
So, let's get started!
The first thing you're going to do is pre-treat any stains you may have on your bag that are
either really really bad or even just moderate.
So there are actually two different ways you can do this, or you can do these combined.
The first way you are going to want to try to get all your stains out is with some things
that you may already have at home.
So you may have some blue Dawn, Hydrogen Peroxide, and baking soda.
And what you're going to do is make a paste and you're going to use 1/4 of a cup of each
of these ingredients and you're going to make your own paste here.
So I've already got it started.
You're going to take your toothbrush and you're going to stir this into a good thick paste.
So I've given that a good mix and it is now a nice thick paste.
So, I'm going to move these out of the way.
What you're going to do with this is take your toothbrush and spread on that paste.
And this is actually a Pink Lady recipe from the Pink Lady Chat and this has been proven
to be a quite useful concoction.
So what you want to do is scrub.
AQnd I wouldn't scrub too hard because the baking soda can be abrasive.
After you've given that a good scrub, you can rinse your bag off.
Another option is to use the OxiClean stain fighter spray if this doesn't work as well
as you'd like it to, or you can use them together.
So I'm going to go ahead and spray over here.
With the stain fighter spray, you let that sit for 5 minutes and then you scrub again
with the toothbrush.
You can rinse this off or use it the way it is, and get that stain over there.
This spray usually by itself is a fantastic spray and I use it in my other video as well.
Once you've pre-treated your stains you're going to rinse your bag off really really
well, and then we're going to start on the deep cleaning process.
To deep clean your bag, this will include soaking your bag in a separate sink or tub.
So I have a tub here and it is in the bathroom tub actually.
And this will allow any dirt particles on your bag to come off prior to an actual wash.
So first you're going to fill your tub with cold water, as I have already done.
You're going to take your OxiClean Stain Fighter and I have the free one with no dyes and no
perfumes.
You can use any kind you like, though.
And I have a cup here and we're going to just put it into the water.
We're going to let it sit for a minute.
Next, with your bag, you're going to want to make sure all of the zippers are undone.
This is a JuJUBe Starlet, in case you were wondering.
This only has a few zippers, you have one back pocket that needs to be unsnapped, and
that is it.
So, I'm going to take the bag now and we're going to submerge it into the water.
Make sure it gets completely covered.
Normally you would probably have a little bit more water in here, but I did just want
to make this a quick video.
What you're going to do, is you're going to take your bag and you're going to knead it
into the water like this and make sure that all of that good soapy goodness from the OxiClean
is getting all kneaded into your bag.
And you're going to do this quite a few times.
And then you're going to let your bag stay submerged in the water and you're going to
let it sit here for 3-4 hours, more if you want to, and if after 3-4 hours it still has
a lot of gunk in it.
You can repeat this process as many times as you need to.
Don't forget, Ju-Ju-Be bags are MADE to be washed.
So, don't be scared to give these bags a good cleaning, because they can handle it.
And this is a good time to take care of strong scents as well.
After your bag has gone through the soaks, you can add some Vinegar to a clean tub of
water and let that sit for as long as it needs to.
And this most of the time will get rid of your stinky smell that you have.
After you have done all of these steps, please visit the video for How To Wash Ju-Ju-Be,
and I will link it right here for you guys, and that just finishes the cleaning process
for you so you can get all the extra ickies out.
That's it for deep cleaning.
If you found this video helpful, please give it a thumbs up and Subscribe while you're
here!
And I would love if you guys would Shop Ju-Ju-Be with me, and I will leave my Affiliate link

Celebrity New : Cardi B Beefs With Azealia Banks, Internet Braces For Savage Clap Back - Duration: 5:01.
Cardi B Beefs With Azealia Banks, Internet Braces For Savage Clap Back
If youre like us, youre old, and uncool, and you get your news from a tattered parchment delivered to your door by a young lad in a jaunty cap whom you reward with a single shilling and some wise words about prudent spending each fortnight.
Because of our woeful lack of hipness, we only recently became familiar with Cardi B, the rapper whose debut single Bodak Yellow just dethroned Taylor Swifts Look What You Made Me Do as the number one song in the country.
Cardi is an artist on the rise, and shes been praised by some of the biggest names in hip-hop. Of course, in 2017, you havent really made it as a rapper until youve feuded with Azealia Banks.
Banks has beefed with Nicki Minaj, Jay Z, Eminem, Iggy Azalea, that Soundcloud rapper whos always posting links to his new sh-t along with a bunch of fire emojis on your Facebook page.
Basically, if youve ever rhymed two words, Banks doesnt like you, and she wants the world to know.
Predictably, Azealia has now set her sights on Cardi B, going off on the Bronx native in a since-deleted Twitter rant in which she attributed Cardis success to music industry racism.
"Black industry men are too hype for this Latina girl I've never seen them jump like this for remy [Ma] or nicki," Banks wrote.
"Charlemagne [Tha God] and black men in hip-hop should have gotten me, remy AND nicki a number one before they gave cardi or iggy [Azalea] one. This is Azealia Banks were talking about, so it only got worse from there.
Cardi is of Trinidadian and Dominican descent, and for reasons that remain unclear, Banks feels she should have tailored her public image accordingly:. Shes only black when black want to include themselves in a success story, Azealia wrote.
I thought she was gonna be a Latina hottie and not a poor mans Nicki Minaj, she added. It went the other way and now Im over it..
On Instagram, Banks was even more savage, calling Cardi "a f-ck toy" who is "super inarticulate," and accusing her "suck[ing] d-ck for raps. Fortunately, Cardi knew just how to respond:.
Azealia Banks Dances to Cardi B. Thats a clip of Banks singing along to Bodak Yellow in the club.
Cardi posted the image to Instagram with a caption reading:. "One of the reasons Bodak Yellow went #1! Cuz even the HATERS love it!". Banks has yet to respond to that burn, but something tells us her response will be nuclear.
The weird thing is, before Cardi became only the second solo rapper to ever reach the top of the Billboard Hot 100, Banks had nothing but praise for the 24-year-old:.
I always thought she was funny, and when she started rapping, I was like… what is she doing? Then I heard Foreva and I was like, Okay, this is really f-cking good, she's not playing, Banks told XXL.
Then I heard a couple other songs and I was like, Oh shit, Cardi's not playing! And now I'm a fan of Cardi B's music and her personality.
It couldnt be that Azealias bitter about Cardis success because shot her own career in the foot years ago, could it?.

Happy Baby Carrier Review - Duration: 9:46.
Hi guys today we're gonna be talking about Happy Baby's soft structured
carrier that they just released so this is what it is it is actually really
fantastic and I'm excited to teach you a little bit about it so you can decide if
it's the right babywearing tool for you so this carrier again is a soft
structured carrier or an SSC what that means is that it's a full carrier that
you don't have to wrap around your body it just has buckles in it um so what
this the Happy Baby one is actually created from luxurious natural linen
which is good for a couple reasons number one it makes it really
lightweight it's actually thirty to fifty percent lighter than most soft
structured carrier on the market um it's really breathable so it's ideal for hot
weather and then as well the linen actually gets softer with use so it
starts out pretty soft anyway but as you use it it will get even softer as the
fabric gets kind of broken in this carrier is actually ideal for in from
infancy all the way up to forty five pounds you also don't need an infant
insert so you don't have any added bulk in there and then this carrier will
actually accommodate you to do a front inward facing position with your infant
and then a back carry face back carry position as well so and we'll show you
how to do those okay so another nice thing about this carrier is that because
it's created from linen it's actually super compact so it'll fit in most diaper
bags really easily you just need to kind of roll it up
And then we have our handy dandy Skip Hop diaper bag here
I'll just put it right in and as you can see there's actually lots of room still
in there so it's ideal for if you want something that you can carry around with
you maybe if you're going out on the town and you don't want to take a big
bulky stroller but you still want something that you can just put right in
your diaper bag and not have to worry about an extra thing but another cool
thing about this is that these straps are actually nice and wide so they won't
ever cut into you and you're carrying your baby because sometimes it can hurt
after a while trust me like I've had some carriers where after like even 15
minutes I'm just like I'm done carrying this baby but because it has wide straps
it'll place a lot of the weight in between your shoulder blades and on your
hips which will be best for you and then as well it has high impact foam in here
so it should keep everything nice and comfortable for you
Okay guys so now I'm gonna go ahead and show you how to use it with a baby this
is our handy little baby doll, Charlie so all you do you go ahead and measure
out where the strap needs to be I'm a little wider so I need my strap a little
wider don't worry so go ahead and always put it with this
facing out as well and you kind of want to put it not at your natural waist so
not way up here but just a little bit above like your hips um kind of where
you put a hiking backpack because you want the weight to be on your hips but
usually when you put it like directly on your hips it's usually not in the right
place so there is a safety elastic right here that you knew do need to put the
clip through and because the clip is really wide it can take a little
convincing to get it through but what this is for is that if for some reason
this buckle ever comes undone do you have rowdy teenagers that are plays
pranks or whatever if this comes undone it'll keep this holding on for you so it
won't come off and your baby won't fall out you'll just need to reclip it so now
you'll go ahead and tighten it and you want it to be pretty snug a good rule of
thumb is that this tag right here should be at your belly button that way it will
be in the right position then you're gonna go ahead and take your baby and
good rule of thumb with baby wearing you always want their legs to be in an
M position so this is real baby his knees would be bent a little bit but
basically you want their knees above their hips so that they're with their
knees and their bum they kind of form an M like that
so go ahead and hold their bum make sure their legs are out and then we're gonna
take the back of this carrier hold it hold at the top like this and I'm gonna
pull it up and then I'm gonna take my hand and really tuck his bottom into
this carrier so that will make sure that he's in the his bum is nice and low to
get that M position that we're looking for so then you just go ahead and put
these straps on and then you'll just kind of reach back like this and tuck it
or clip this together and usually this needs to be down in between your
shoulder blades so if you have a partner or something someone that can help you
the first time so can get in the right position that'll be
best that way everything will be across your shoulder blades and on your hips so
you'll be super comfortable the entire time
Charlie's actually too small for this position so you can see here that his
legs are like straight out and his butt like everything doesn't look great his
legs don't look supported they looked kind of up. He actually needs to be in
what's called the froggy leg position or a newborn position with newborns they
naturally go into a frog leg position so if you see how a newborn lays down they
always kind of lay with their feet together and their knees kind of spread
apart like that that's how you're gonna put them in this carrier so you're gonna
go ahead put them at your at your shoulder like you're burping them put
theirs feet together kind of bend them up so they're like this and then we're
gonna go ahead and put them in this pocket go ahead and put them in tuck him
in there just like we did before put your straps up
and again the first time you do this you should have a partner to come help you
adjust it I'm gonna have my handy-dandy camera person come help me adjust these
real fast right in between the shoulder blades so
she helped me go ahead and adjust these and like I said it should just be in
between your shoulder blades this one can even be a little bit lower so now
you're just gonna check for TICKS which is T I C K S that is for like safe
babywearing check just every time you baby wear so t is for tight when you
lean over your baby should not fall away from you hardly at all
obviously they'll fall away a little bit just because we all most women have
things but um they shouldn't fall away very much at all I as for in view when
you look down you should be able to see their face um c is for close enough to
kiss should be able lean down and kiss the top of their head k is for keep chin
off chest so this is so that they're not going like this because if they do that
then it can block their airway um so you always want to make sure you can put two
fingers in between their chin in their chest when your baby wearing and then S
is for a straight up-and-down back or straight back so they should always be
in an upright position babies should never be in a horizontal
position can block their airway and it's also bad for their spinal development
and then this position is also really good for colic and for helping with
colic so just wear your babies upright promise it's better for you and them
Okay like I said before this carrier also accommodates a back carry position
basically you wear this like a backpack and then your baby faces the back of you
Charlie's not big enough so I'm not gonna be able to show you that position
today but it's suitable for infants who can't who can hold their head up all by
themselves who are like taller than the carrier height you want to make sure
that they can see over it so they're not getting buried down in there and who can
obviously like have their legs out so in that M position usually it's like at six
months is when you can start using that position so just be aware of that that
you can do it
Lastly I just want to go over some of the features of this so it does carry
feature a little pocket up here and this pocket actually has a sunshade which is
ideal for like if you're nursing and you want to be able to nurse in your carrier
if you have a button-down shirt or even should regularly shirt you can just pull
it up you'll kind of loosen this carrier a little bit so they'll sit down a
little bit lower and then you can go ahead and nurse either with this
sunshade on or without so you go just go ahead and take it out of pocket and then
it goes ahead and snaps back here and so your baby can stay covered while you
nurse or again just to protect them from inclement weather or the Sun the pocket
is actually pretty deep as well so go ahead and put my hand in here you can
see right there where it's where my hand is at. So you can go ahead and put
your cellphone in there or a wallet so it's super nice to just kind of keep
everything compact and ready to go um lastly there is another cool thing that
we haven't seen on other carriers that we really like about the Happy Baby
carrier and that's this purse strap that's on my shoulders so it's on either
side and all you do um when you kinda baby wear it's kind of hard to like
handle a purse while you're walking too - so what this strap will do is it'll keep
your purse in place so we'll just unsnap that take our first strap go ahead and
snap it back and now my purse is not going to fall off and it's being carried
just fine it's still easily accessible if you need to go ahead and get your
binky or anything else
Okay just a couple other things to note with this carrier um in terms of care
you can machine wash it cold tumble dry low with light colors there will be a
little bit of shrinkage but make sure you don't ever dry clean it because that
will ruin the linen
Okay the Happy Baby Carrier sells for $148 we carry it in both the gray and
the Marigold colors marigold is great for fall the gray is a great neutral all
year round if you would like to shop it we do free shipping all day every day on
every purchase so make sure you go ahead and take a look at that if you enjoyed

InkTober Art Supplies + Tips || My Inking Supplies - Duration: 5:12.
Hi everyone!
Today I'll show you the inking supplies I use for Inktober.
If you don't know what Inktober is, here are the rules by Jake Parker, who started Inktober.
The idea is to make an ink drawing every day in October and post it online.
If you need ideas for what to draw, there's an official prompt list in the Inktober website.
But there are also many unofficial Inktober prompt lists, which you can find in google
image search.
Also, you don't have to make a drawing every day, it could be even just once a week.
Now, on to the inking supplies.
First of all, paper.
I'll use A4 size Canson drawing paper, 180 g/m2.
If I want to color the line art with watercolor, I might use watercolor paper instead.
The watercolor paper I usually use is A4 size and 250 g/m2, rough, acid free and it's glued
on two sides so you don't need to take it out of the pad to paint.
Although I usually do take it out and tape it onto a harder surface with painter's tape.
And I also have this smooth watercolor paper that I haven't tried much yet, because it's
not as thick so I'm expecting it to buckle and wrinkle when it dries.
I usually make the sketch on a different paper and transfer the clean outlines onto a drawing
paper or watercolor paper for inking.
And there are different ways to do the transfer, one is graphite transfer paper and another
one is using baking paper.
I have three ink bottles.
One is black acrylic ink and it dries waterproof.
The other black ink I have is not waterproof.
And then I have one white ink.
I use a dip pen for the inks and it has two nibs, a smaller one and a bigger one.
I used to have one more size, but I lost it.
I also have these bamboo dip pens.
And I might use a watercolor paint brush with the inks as well.
Last year I used mostly dip pens and inks.
The lines were kind of thick for coloring pages so I think this year I'll use mostly
pens.
If you want to paint over the line art, make sure you're using waterproof ink or pen.
Some of the pens might also be more lightfast than others.
You'll probably make some inking mistakes and you can't erase ink.
But sometimes you can fix them by just making the line thicker.
And other times you might want to fix it with something white, like a white gel pen, white
ink, correction fluid or white acrylic paint.
You can see the differences in line thickness between the dip pen and pens as I'm testing
them.
Inking with a brush or a dip pen makes it easier to change line weight.
I will be inking coloring pages this Inktober, which is mostly what I did last year, when
I took part in Inktober for the first time.
I'm not doing daily Inktober drawings.
Last year I made 7 and I also filmed all of them.
This year I have 6 drawings sketched in pencil and I have some other ideas I might do as
well.
I've been posting 2 videos per week on YouTube since the end of August and I'll try to keep
that up during October, but I don't want all of them to be Inktober videos so some will
include more than one piece in the video.
I've also started uploading my videos to Vidme, which is another video platform.
And I'll publish videos there every day for now.
Remember to wash the nibs after inking so the ink doesn't dry on them.
But don't leave them in the water or they'll get rusty.
I do like to wash them in a little container just so I don't drop them in the sink.
I tried inking with a brush last year, but I felt like it worked better for making an
ink wash or filling in black areas rather than doing line art.
You can dilute the ink with water to make it lighter.
Add a bit of ink and water on a palette and mix them together.
And also, remember to close the lid of the ink bottle after using it so this doesn't
happen to you.
I was lifting the ink bottle by the lid and it wasn't closed and the ink spilled on my
table.
I do use a desk pad so the ink didn't mess up my table.
That's the last tip, protect the working surface, when you use ink!
Are any of you doing Inktober this year?
Thanks for watching!

Mallard train World's fastest steam locomotive - Duration: 1:27.
And this is the world-famous Mallard fastest steam engine in the world. It still holds the record.
On the 3rd of July 1938 the Mallard broke the world speed record by
travelling at 126 miles per hour its 203 km/h on a slightly downward grade of line
just south of Grantham. And this record is remarkable in that it still stands
today this is the fastest steam engine on earth
Okay this is the test equipment they used on the record breaking run.
Look at that. That's real em... Steampunk but this is real, that is the real deal.
Look at the carriage. How beautiful it is. Beautiful. Every little detail just so carefully thought about.
So it just didn't function. It looked great as well. Bizarre!
These days we're kind of er, very utilitarian. It says there. Dynamometer
