Youtube daily report Dec 21 2017

Hello, my dear Aliholics!

I hope everyone is ready for the holiday season.

I sure am looking forward to having some extra days off to relax after the very productive

year!

I picked some cool cheap products: we will see 15 things that you can entertain yourself

with for $5 or less.

If you have a hard time following my accent, make sure to turn the subtitles on.

What better way to show off your art history knowledge and classiness than wearing famous

painting socks?

You can get the Mona Lisa, Van Gogh's starry night, the scream, the sculpture of David

and more.

Now tell that nosy baby boomer that your art degree is useless.

If you are not great at telling jokes or stories but want to be the life of the party?

This is a small in a literal sense investment that's guaranteed to make you popular among

your friends.

This mini bottle opener keychain is sure to come in handy anywhere drinking is involved.

This probably won't arrive in time for Christmas, but you can surprise your dog-loving friends

probably sometime in May with one of these cute dog pendants.

Or keep it for yourself and wear it to match with your dog - I know I would if there was

a chihuahua option.

Otherwise there is a pretty good selection of breeds you can choose from like beagle,

rottweiler, and corgi.

Sequins (I hope I'm saying this correctly) aren't just for party dresses.

Give your home a sparkly touch with one of these sequin pillows.

And they're reversible so they are super fun to play with.

Seriously, reversible sequins are like the real life equivalent of those dumb clicking

websites (like the pet doge site).

AliExpress is a great source for the do-it-yourself enthusiasts who like to experiment with simple

Arduino-based projects.

There are tons of cheap boards with various functions that can work for a lot of different

products.

Building these is a lot of fun and if you want to pick up a new productive hobby that

does not cost a lot of money and ends up with something useful, check out these boards - there

is way too many to choose from.

Upgrade your bath experience with a bath bomb.

They are fun to watch 'explode', but they also smell good, and we all know that baths

are super lame without bubbles.

Plus these ones are much cheaper than what you'd get at a bodycare shop.

After viewing the comments I verified that at least 70% of people are reporting that

their skin did not melt off, which I think is a good sign.

If you're into precious stones, Aliexpress has a big selection of rings for reasonable

prices (most of the rings are about $5 each).

They're perfect for creating that boho/vintage stacked look if that's your aesthetic of

choice.

I am going to leave a link to the store that carries a lot of good-looking ones.

Who else loves stickers?

I have already accumulated a pretty good sticker selection from Aliexpress that we've used

to decorate laptops, motorcycles, and random household objects.

You can find all sorts of packs with tons of stickers for only a few dollars.

There's everything from Sailor Moon to Rick & Morty to random galaxy designs.

They are pretty durable and waterproof.

No one will ever lose you with one of these glow in the dark baseball caps.

One of these will surely be a conversation starter at a party - and they cost less than

the price of the entrance cover, which in Vancouver is pretty inconceivable.

They're also good if you want to avoid getting hit by a car at night.

Many people choose to not buy clothing items from AliExpress, and while I understand the

reasoning behind this I can not agree with them.

I myself have bought a tone of nice quality clothing and after understanding how the sizing

works I am rarely left disappointed.

As long as you check the feedback and especially the pictures left by other buyers, it's

hard to buy something that will be different from the expectations, as long as you keep

them reasonable.

If you liked the mini bottle opener, you are probably going to love this screwdriver set.

There are 25 different types, and the whole set is as big as a phone case.

It might not be something that you'd want to carry around with you all the time, but

it would be great for small electronics repairs, to keep instead of a giant toolcase in a smaller

home, or possibly even for work (depending on your job).

As they say, fake it until you make it.

If you don't want to take a second mortgage on your home to buy an iPhone, you can always

get this realistic-looking calculator to troll your friends with.

Once the cover flips, it can perform the basic counting functions that we no longer can or

want to do in our head.

If you work or game on a desktop computer, a cool mousepad is a nice touch to have on

your desk.

With the prevailence of the laser-type over the ball-based ones they are less relevant,

but I still use one since I have the glass desk.

These pads have an interesting moon print and come in a variety of colours and sizes.

How sleek and futuristic do these gradient iPhone cases look?

If you did take the second mortgage - in which case my condolences - they fit the iPhone

5, 5s, 6, 6s, 7 and 8.

And according to the seller and the seller, they are hard and strong and protect your

love machine better.

【MUKBANG】 50 CrayFish & 300 Soaked Skewers IN Tasty Hot Pot!!! [Lajiasi Chu] [Beijing] [Click CC] - Duration: 8:48.

Hello it's Kinoshita Yuka ( English subtitles by ~Aphexx~)

Today! I'm here in Peking and this place is called ?辣家私厨?

Doesn't this look amazing?

Theyre crawfish

There are 50 crawfish in here There's roughly a three hundred of them in this skewer pot

add them

This is apparently made with lobster It's supposedly a Chinese version of "ochazuke"

I'm surrounded by food I've never seen before itadakimasu

Now to peel these crawfish They're real legit crawfish

This will be my first time trying crawfish

There's only about this much meat in them They look like this

yum tastes almost exactly like a shrimp

Have a unique flavor to it It's very yummy though

And the soup here is very spicy And help stimulate the appetite

There's over 50 of those crawfish in that pot And it's so tough peeling them so we'll switch to this instead

And this thing called ?x? Is a Chinese Plum juice

It's super yummy I'll take a sip

It's so sweet and tangy It's yummy

Now it's time for the skewers

the skewers didn't fall like I thought they would

They look so delish

It's so plump and yummy And it's filled with some veggies

Is it okra that's in it? It's got a nice soft texture to it

Chicken They got all sorts of different stuff in here

they're so hot and yummy Chicken soup

It's got a crazy yummy flavor to it yum

It's so very flavorful and yummy It would be so fun sharing this with many friends

I will now try this

It's got Lobster in it and looks so very yummy

Just looking at the color of the soup You know it's going to taste awesome

yum You can really taste the lobster flavor in this

A lobster "ochazuke" The Chinese really make some fancy "ochazuke"

This hot pot is slightly on the spicy side It's so spicy and yummy

A person working here recommended this to me

It's some sort of jelly of some sort

yum It reminds me of a black molasses jelly

It's filled with all sorts of nuts as well It's a very Asian sort of dessert

A lot of these are vegetables and mushrooms Wrapped in meat it's super yummy

this Chinese food is really truly yummy This is a szechuan dish

It's so nice to be able to eat the legit food from where they're from

I'm getting tired of dishing this out into a bowl So I'm going to eat it straight from the pot instead

This stuff is the "bestest"

That Lobster flavor is so crazy delish It's super rich tasting

Seaweed as well

it was 'konbu' seaweed instead yum

Big collection of skewers

konjak

its very (inaudible) yum

One of these was really spicy What was it?

It was so spicy it was almost as if They took a chili pepper and wrapped it in meat

With such a diverse assortment That keeps your taste buds wondering what's next

The ones that look like this Are apparently made with "sansho" spice

I've only encountered them as a spice And never eaten vegetable from which they came

And I'm really surprised at how spicy The plant really is

that wasn't 'sansho' at all What was that thing that I ate?

It's so hard to keep track with all this here

It's this, this is the one this is the'sansho'

this is crazy spicy

super spicy and it does taste like 'sansho'

This is another thing that was recommended to me By someone who works here

Is this some sort of yakisoba-like dish?

These noodles are a bit thinner than japanese style yakisoba noodles

It's on a sweet side And tastes really yummy

Last skewer

The lobster soup bowl Is all done

All the Crawfish have been peeled And when you peel all of them this is All That Remains

These are the empty shells

The meat looks like this And this is the soup from before it looks so thick and delish

The soup has a very garlicky taste And is very yummy

These crawfish are so much like shrimp They're very yummy they're very plump and have a nice mouth feel

This is called a ?x?

It's like some sort of deep fried bread yum

(inaudible)

Last crawfish itadakimasu

all done gochisosamadeshita

Everything was super delish I really loved all the flavors

Everything was full of such yummy rich flavors

And the soup the skewers were in were flavored with all sorts of yummy flavors

these crawfish are sort of different from The ones we have in Japan are they a different species?

I never knew that there was this much meat on them They were so plump and yummy

The lobster soup that was filled with rice Was very yummy as well

It was so full of lobster flavor throughout And so yummy

The Szechuan dishes here We're all very yummy

Women in Engineering and Technology | Shell Careers - Duration: 1:34.

This has been such a male-dominated field for so long

Women are just as passionate as men and because they're in the minority it's

driving them more to want to go into more managerial roles

So today we're looking at bringing women to the top of the agenda in engineering across the UK

and worldwide

I'm a mechanical hydropower engineer

I study aeronautical engineering

I'm a business analyst

I am production operations engineer with shell

Coming to events like this is about showing young girls that leaders in this industry are possible.

It's really important that women are designing

products and engineering solutions for women

We need diversity to make sure that our voices are heard.

If we're not using 50% of our population we're losing 50% of those skills.

It's amazing at events like this to see so many women and being so supportive

and so encouraging to go into the engineering sector

This means new ideas it means making things more efficient it means things

happening faster

It's all about strengthening us as engineering companies.

The Prophecies of Seven Kingdoms - Histories and Lore - Game of thrones animated history - Duration: 4:09.

SAMWELL: The maesters don't believe in prophecy. With good reason.

The Children of the Forest supposedly could see into the future,

it was apprised by the First Men who nearly ended their race,

and the Long Night, which nearly ended us all.

Some maesters posited that the Children's magical sight

was invented long after they vanished from Westeros

by singers hoping to thrill peasant girls.

Not that most maesters have much experience

in what does or doesn't do that.

When Aegon the Conqueror came to the Iron Islands,

the priest king Lodos claimed his divine father,

the ironborn's drowned god,

had shown him krakens pulling Aegon's ships into the deep.

No krakens ever arrived.

And even if they had, they wouldn't have stopped

Aegon and his dragon without wings of their own.

Confused, Lodos filled his pockets with stones and walked into the sea

to take counsel with his father.

Thousands followed him.

But apparently, the drowned god didn't appreciate the crowd.

Their corpses washed upon the Iron Islands for years.

According to legend,

House Targaryen survived the Doom of Valyria,

thanks to Daenys the Dreamer, who foresaw the calamity,

and convinced her father to flee their homeland.

It could be true.

The Targaryens were always a bit more.

But as Maester Yendall points out,

in the east, the Targaryens were one of a thousand minor noble families,

and in Westeros, they became kings.

Politics, not prophecy could have drawn them to our shores.

Politics can also explain the prophecies of Daemon Blackfyre ll,

a Targaryen bastard rumored to possess the family gift.

While posing as a hedge knight,

he told the future Lord Commander of the King's Guard

that he dreamt of a dragon hatching up Whitewalls' castle,

and took it as a sign that he'd win the Iron Throne.

Perhaps if he'd slept a bit longer,

he'd have dreamt of the King's Hand putting down his rebellion a day later

before it even began.

Most maesters dismiss all Targaryen claims of prophecy as mystic nonsense.

A relic of their Eastern ancestry.

To be fair, across the Narrow Sea,

there isn't a market without a warlock from Qarth telling fortunes,

or a Shadowbinder from Asshai reading fates in blood.

Or so I hear from the maesters.

But when I was a boy,

I overheard the cook whispering to a maid about a woods witch

camping outside Horn Hill, who was called Maggy the Frog.

Now I realize, it was probably a corruption

of the Eastern word for wizards.

IIMaegi-II

One day, my father rode out hunting, though no game was in season.

And whatever power she had likely didn't save her.

Even the wisest maesters, however, have no answer for the Red Priest

who prophesied about the return of the Long Night.

For thousands of years,

they've kept watch for the return of the prince who was promised,

who will be born amid salt and smoke to drive off the darkness once again.

"Prince of what realm, promised by whom and to whom?"

The prophecy doesn't say.

But at the very least it confirmed that

not even Essos escaped the Long Night.

I imagine the cataclysm must have confused the East.

Unlike Westeros, they wouldn't have known of

the Night King or the White Walkers,

or the war waged by the First Men, and the Children of the Forest.

They would have just seen a terrible winter descend,

and linger far too long until spring magically returned to the world.

Yet somehow,

maybe from passing merchants, maybe in their fires,

the Red Priests saw the truth.

Now the truth is here again for anyone to see.

But the maesters refuse.

They debate and question and doubt not to choose the wisest course,

because they're too used to doing nothing else.

Most prophecies might be lies, but not all of them.

The Long Night is coming.

If we don't believe that, well,

we won't need any prophecy to tell us our future.

Congressman Robert Pittenger Demands Investigation Into SHOCKING Revelation About Obama(VIDEO)!!! - Duration: 12:35.

Congressman Robert Pittenger Demands Investigation Into SHOCKING Revelation About Obama

political reporting in a bombshell expose that the Obama administration

placed a DEA investigation into Hezbollah's drug trafficking and money

laundering operations on hold all to ensure that the Iranian nuclear deal

remained on track joining us now Republican congressman

Robert Henninger who is urging the house to investigate that report in a letter

he sent to the Oversight Committee chairman trey Gowdy congressman thanks

for joining us tonight this is salacious stuff it's scary that

the lens that perhaps the previous administration went through to get this

Iranian deal done it is this egregious violation of the president's

responsibility to protect this country and that's why I want a full

investigation you have senior officials from Treasury from Department of Defense

who's spoken out openly with their names not anonymously conveying that they were

impeded in the process of this investigation so we must look at this we

may we must see get to the bottom of it and find out exactly what was done and

you know the impact of this is extraordinary Hezbollah is responsible

for transporting a billion dollars worth of arms and drugs in exchange for cash

they are a major factor in our war against terror I just hosted a meeting

in Buenos Aires just three weeks ago Mariano Federici my partner down there

we had 120 members apartment and government leaders from 15 countries

addressing this very issue the nexus between the drug cartels and the

terrorist organizations and just to bring the audience up to speed this was

a campaign project Kassandra launched in 2008 by the DEA after they immense a

whole bunch of evidence that Hezbollah and actually transformed itself just

from a military and political organization button to an international

drug crime syndicate cartel exactly they were ready for prosecution and they were

impeded through this in this process by individuals in administration different

people have spoken out to this effect so I think it's critical that we get to the

bottom of it even frankly I do believe that

attorney general needs to be fully engaged I think the most shocking a line

one of the more shocking lines from this article is that the Obama administration

through an increasing increasingly insurmountable series of roadblocks in

the way now I think one of the questions will be was that perhaps if this is true

to appease Iran or at or at the request and demands of Iran you don't know we

need to get to the bottom of it many people were involved in this article and

dozens of people are interviewed a number of them are named personally this

is well a research to real well sourced document and I think we do need to

understand exactly how it unfolded because clearly this was done to help

process a very misguided agreement with Iran every one of our friends and in the

Gulf states has said to me it was a poorly constructed deal right FAQ one of

them said sir if we it's like if we went to Moscow we negotiated an agreement

with Ukraine without talking to Europe we know Iran if you don't we do all

right congressman Robert vinegar thank you very much for your time and your

diligence on this and obviously we'll bring you back soon

to get it up thank you yes tonight a follow-up on Monday's report about a

major publication alleging the Obama administration may have sabotaged its

own government investigators efforts to stop the Hezbollah terror group from

turning profits on illegal drugs Politico alleges it was all about the

Iran nuclear deal joining us now Josh Meyer politico's

senior investigative reporter the man behind this very elaborate story digging

into the former administration's alleged interference with the terror group and a

DEA investigation great to see you tonight Josh okay so let's walk this

through for people who aren't familiar with this story how in the world does

this connect all of these different prongs of investigations that were

happening here through US agencies to a connection with the Iran nuclear deal it

is a bit convoluted but here the short version is that Hezbollah is a proxy of

the Iran government especially the ijo which is you know the the military wing

of Hezbollah is a proxy to them and so these federal investigators were

watching and gathering evidence of Hezbollah sort of transforming itself

from a from a political power and a terrorist organization - one that was

trafficking in drugs and other criminal conspiracies to make you know hundreds

of millions of dollars and the theory was that they thought documented was

that they were doing it to raise money to help rebuild after the Israel war and

to help an expansion that they were doing globally so they gathered evidence

they designated about a couple of dozen super facilitators as people that were

connected to the conspiracy but when they really tried to delve deeply into

these people they got shut down and from what I understand in your reporting

there were problems at the State Department the Justice Department the

DEA had been very involved in these investigations and when people wanted to

push forward the administration was not especially helpful right and so you know

I wouldn't characterize it as one grand conspiracy I think there's people on

Twitter that would like to reduce this to that what it was was it was a series

of actions some that were taken specifically intentionally some that

were sort of more a part of a broader geopolitical sort of stew that they were

doing and other actions were just things that weren't supported and things that

weren't approved so over the eight years of the Obama administration you had you

know potentially dozens of criminal cases that that languished people were

transferred efforts to create a Rico prosecution were not supported

extraditions and so forth so at the end of the day when you really look at it

there's at least seven or eight of these major players that they alleged were

part of this conspiracy leading the conspiracy that are out there operating

with impunity around the world so the idea that they were not pursued at least

to the fullest extent of possibly they could have been under the law because

the administration was worried it would potentially blow up delicate

negotiations over the nuclear deal with Iran well it's not I wouldn't say they

weren't pursued because of that I would say that this is a fallout I mean what

the story does and I interviewed many dozens of people reviewed thousands of

records shows that their policy of reproach met with Iran and their effort

to get the nuclear deal created a political climate where that the result

was a derailment of this policy so some efforts were intentional I think some

were not and will you know I'd love to see a sort of full accounting of what

happened we know they're already a couple of members GOP members on the

hill who were asking for that and now I want to give you a couple of critics

from the Obama administration give you a chance to respond first of all is Marie

harf who used to be of course the State Department until Politico

wrote this piece I had never even heard of this program you know the politicos

story this narrative in it is just false and there's no evidence in this story to

back up their allegations they quote a couple of low-level ideological sources

who clearly don't like the Iran deal okay no evidence a couple of low-level

sources then we hear from Tommy Vietor used to be the NSC a spokesperson for

President Obama he says in a tweet there are many reasonable critiques of Obama's

foreign policy the idea that he was soft on Hezbollah is not one of them

the story is so manufactured out of thin air that it's hard to push back except

to say that it's a figment of the imagination of two very flawed sources

right so a lot of these people have similar themes to their sort of

critiques and so I couldn't resist tweeting back to him and saying well why

don't you push back let's see some specifics here and you know I'm a fan of

Murray's I talked to her when she was at the State Department but she was at a

different level of the State Department she was a spokesperson and to say that

the people that I quoted were low-level people is sort of ridiculous these were

the people that led this this task force they were not ideologues they're not

flawed I don't know what she's talking about these were the people one was a

pentagon report you know person one was a DEA person but I also talked to many

many dozens of other people to get sort of ground truth and see if what their

allegations were held up to the light of day and so you know this is not a story

in fourteen thousand words where I was just taking a sort some spin from some

people I mean this spent months of meticulous reporting to document what

was happening talking to people outside of the administration and so I

challenged people to you know let me know what the specifics are that they

think aren't true it is an in-depth piece I suggest people read it for

themselves and we'll see if Congress does get involved Josh Meyer thank you

for digging into it what's good to see here now to react his former financial

Intel analyst for the Treasury Department who worked to publicly

designate individual terrorists for the United Nations Morgan Ortega's thank you

so much for joining us this morning so to break this down from people this was

called Project Cassandra and what did it allowed the DEA to get evidence

that the terrorist group was actually amassing what 1 billion dollars in drugs

and weapons but then when they wanted to do something about it the brakes were

pulled basically and according to the report it wasn't also just the DEA it

was actually over 30 different Intel agencies that were a part of the US

government in our allies working together on this so this is this was a

project that was banded over many years of the Obama administration remember

Heather that Hezbollah is an Iranian backed shia terrorist organization and

they're wrecking havoc around the world in the Middle East but just in June of

this year US authorities federal authorities arrested Hezbollah agents

for looking to potentially attack the United States

so Hezbollah is as a terrorist group that has been a menace in the region for

a long time but they're incredibly well-funded not only by the Iranians but

by the fact that they're able to traffic drugs theft money-laundering all around

the world to fill their costs so all of this money coming in to them why in the

world where the breaks be pulled on and all these organizations not just the DEA

right and how would it tie in to the success or failure of the Iran deal so

in the political report it was not just a few disgruntled de-aged as they came

forward the the political author said that they he interviewed dozens of

people and part of this it was a very extensive research and while they didn't

offer explicit proof that that the Obama administration politically stopped these

prosecutions a former treasury official Katherine Bauer testified before

Congress that these prosecutions were slowed down in order to make room for

the Iran deal now this isn't the first allegation against the Obama

administration that they were that they were doing things to placate the

Iranians in order to get the deal through but this is the first time where

we've seen dozens of former federal intelligence analysts coming forward to

say this was politically motivated to stop the research that we were doing to

to stop a terrorist group worldwide a lot of people very upset about this

report we have a statement from congressman Pittenger he had this to say

he said these revelations are shocking and infuriating while American soldiers

were bravely fighting Isis terrorists with some paying the ultimate price the

Obama administration reportedly was protecting Hezbollah terrorists who were

funding themselves by trafficking illegal drugs no wonder President Obama

couldn't bring himself to call them radical Islamic Islamist terrorists yeah

and I think the nuance that the congressman doesn't get right is that

Isis is a Sunni you group in this that Hezbollah yes so these are two very

different factions Hezbollah is fighting in Syria and so you have hardened Shia

Iranian back Hezbollah fighters that are coming off the battlefield that could

potentially wreak havoc continue to wreak havoc in the Middle East they

could attack here and so what what does the administration need to do going

forward Ted Cruz also called for congressional investigations in this I

think CIA director former CIA director John Brennan needs to go before Congress

and testify because he was part of this bigger with the ultimate result being

possibly what I mean what can happen now that this has already occurred well what

can happen now is that the Trump administration can put a new focus on

Hezbollah the Trump administration has a new focus to counter Iran a new strategy

for the Middle East and so I believe that the Trump administration I'm sure

they're probably starting to do this should put an interagency task force and

back together to target Hezbollah to go after their financing to go after the

money laundering and how they're trafficking you know cocaine allegedly

in a sense all right thank you so much for Morgan we appreciate joining us big

Player intro: あるさん(Aru-san) (RAGE Shadowverse World Grand Prix 2017) - Duration: 2:10.

My username is Aru-san.

I am from Saitama.

The reason why I started playing Shadowverse is because a friend had recommended it to me.

I play for about 2 to 3 hours per day.

I usually play on my way to work, or at home.

What I love about Shadowverse is the artwork.

The artwork is really well done so that is what I think the strong point of the game is.

My strength lies in my card draws.

In the past tournament there was a game that I won because the cards I drew were just the right ones I needed.

That's why I believe that I am good at drawing cards.

I am bad at handling pressure.

I always feel so nervous that I am going to go crazy and crack under the pressure.

So by the time the World Grand Prix occurs, I will do my best to overcome this weakness.

I'm paying close attention to SOS right now.

I started playing hoping I could be as good as SOS, so having the chance to play against him is very exciting.

I have come this far so I am ready to take on SOS at this point.

My goal…There is going to be a lot of great players from all over the place,

so winning won't be easy and I will have to stay sharp, but I will play to my strengths and come out victorious.

Please once you all give this a try And as always thank you for watching if there is anything

Lauren A Koenig, Twip - Phocuswright 2017 - Duration: 3:31.

(intro music)

- [Lauren A. Koenig] So, Twip we power shared

experiences for global brands.

We connect people to experiences and travelers

based on what we call your Travanality.

Travanality is why you travel when you take away

time, destination, and price.

Everyone has a unique Travanality and we are able

to connect you with people content on experiences

all based on this Travanality.

- [Interviewer] So you bring people together

- Yes.

- [Interviewer] Who would have like minded experiences

and what to share that and travel together.

- I'd like to say that I like to safely and selfishly

travel as a traveler.

- [Interviewer] Excellent.

So you were on stage at Summit yesterday.

You presented with great energy.

- [Laura] Thank you.

- [Interviewer] How did you get out? I think the dragons

enjoyed your energy.

- [Laura] I hope so. I hope so.

I'm so glad it's over. I was so incredibly nervous.

It was a fantastic time I really enjoyed it.

I have to thank Voyager HQ, which is a fantastic travel

clubhouse in New York City.

They gave me the opportunity to pitch at their event

and then Phocuswright saw me and they invited me to

try out for speaking on stage at Phocuswright.

I closed my eyes and it happened.

It was great and I'm so blessed to be here.

This is a fantastic, fantastic conference that I wouldn't

miss for the world, every year, coming to.

- [Interviewer] Well your energy gave you a lot of friends

in the audience, but the dragons were there to ask

difficult questions.

How did you get along with them?

- [Lauren] You know, I didn't know what to expect.

I think that you can try to predict what they're gonna say,

but they always surprise you.

There's a couple tough dragons that I had

and they were actually nice to me.

I don't remember much of it, I'm not gonna lie, because

it's such a blur. It happened so quickly.

They were great. They asked some incredible questions.

What was important to me is that

they understood the product.

Um, but it was a lot of months of preparation to make

sure we were able to describe what Twip was

concisely and clearly.

It seemed like we got their support

and I couldn't be happier.

- [Interviewer] So obviously being on stage

gives you profile and that profile leads to conversations.

This is a business event.

What kind of conversations have you had since then?

- [Lauren] It's a whole new day. I woke up to an inbox of

LinkedIn and Phocuswright app full of emails and messages.

So it's definitely.

Being on stage is a whole different ball game.

You go from kind of nervous and focusing on your pitch

the night before and you wake up

the next day with tons of support.

Everyone in the community knows that it's not easy to do.

And the best of the best are on stage.

So being able to get that love and support that now,

today I am filled with meetings all day.

I'm even glad to fit this in.

And it's a lot of exposure because people see your face

on the biggest screen that I've ever seen.

It felt like Times Square recognizing you, thanking you,

and then also wanting to reach out.

We're really interested in partnerships right now.

So we've had a plethora of partnerships and the day

is not even half over.

You know I've had a couple investors come up to me.

Definitely for people to understand your brand and

just recognize what you're doing.

Putting a face to a name with a company

is extremely important.

The travel industry can be saturated.

So seeing that face to a name and who's representing

the company, like I said, is very important.

And potential clients too. I mean we all love to travel.

That's why we're here.

And I think that's where we are at right now.

- [Interviewer] Excellent.

Well thanks for your time and well done.

- [Lauren] Absolutely, thank you so much.

(slow music)
