She recently appeared in the film Swindlers and will now be starring in the drama Four Sons. Nana revealed, I am currently attending action school, so Im not able to get my nails done these days.

Im playing a detective on-screen.

My character is really good at fighting so Im learning the basic [actions] of fighting.

Its a really important role and one Im underqualified for, so Im working hard to prepare for it..

When asked about her thoughts on her success as an actress thus far, she humbly responded, I think its because the public has low expectations of me.

Because of the stereotypes surrounding idols and because I hadnt really shown my acting before, I think [people] are having low expectations and giving me favorable reviews.

However, I really did study hard at acting..

Nana concluded the interview by saying she wants to become an actress who can pull off any character instead of having a fixed acting style.

I want to show everyone all the different sides of me, said Nana.

BREAKING: House Intel Committee Has Found FBI's Andrew McCabe To Be Untruthful(VIDEO)!!! - Duration: 10:05.

House Intel Committee Has Found FBI's Andrew McCabe To Be Untruthful

FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe spent eight hours testifying before the House

Intelligence Committee yesterday the testimony was behind the closed doors

secret even though recent events that the FBI

have raised major concerns about transparency there because there isn't

much at all the bureau repeatedly has refused to turn over materials Congress

requested even though that's unconstitutional and Special Counsel

Robert Mulder's investigation has been damaged at least in its reputation when

we found out it was filled with democratic partisans whether the

majority of the lawyers he has hired our Democratic donors congressman Matt gates

is a Republican representing Florida he's called for an end to the mauler

investigation and he joins us now congressman thanks off what I'm gonna be

on so we can't learn much or really anything about McCabe's testimony before

the committee because it was secret how ridiculous is that I agree with that the

American people deserve to know whether their tax payer payer money was used to

go and undermine the president States the American people deserve to know

whether their own FBI was working to undermine the person they elected and so

that's why I think we need to have open hearings because if there's corruption

in this investigation the best disinfectant is going to be sunshine

well of course that's right and and conspiracy theories in the absence of

transparency parents are beginning to flower I mean

you know no one trusts anyone in Washington all of a sudden and this that

might bring back some trust so one of the key questions not to put you on the

spot but excuse me maybe you know the answer agent Sturrock who famously had

an affair with his coworker his text messages came too late last week an

enemy talked about a meeting in Andy's office did we find out if that Andy is

Andrew McCabe well we did not find out because despite eight hours of testimony

that testimony occurred behind closed doors

we'll have Andrew McCabe before the Judiciary Committee tomorrow at 10:00

a.m. but unfortunately that will also be behind closed doors it's obvious though

that it's McCabe this is the circle of people that were directly involved in

the Hillary Clinton email scandal that then migrated over to the Trump

investigation I think as a consequence of their bias but it's one of the other

over half the people on the Moller probe donated to Hillary Clinton or Barack

Obama you've got Weissman the number to pray

using people for defying order from the president knighted States and then Peter

struck the very person who may have dressed up this dossier is an

intelligence document going from the Clinton scandal to the Trump

investigation carrying his bias with him and then planning actually planning

action to undermine the president so do we know if the FBI paid for the dossier

or any part of the dossier we've asked that question of the Attorney General

the FBI director and Rosenstein and none of them will tell us and how arrogant is

that Tucker that our own government will not tell us if they used our money to go

and pay Russians in conjunction with the Democratic Party this is stuff that you

would see in a Banana Republic not the United son of those people is elected by

voters you are elected by voters this is a democracy the voters are supposed to

be in charge of the way the government operates correct absolutely and yet you

the elected official can't get answers from the permanent bureaucrats or the

appointed officials how is that well that's why we're issuing subpoenas

Tucker and either we will get answers to these subpoenas we will find out this

information and share with the American people or we need to start holding the

senior officials at the FBI and the Department of Justice in contempt it's

totally unacceptable in a democracy to have the bureaucrats telling the elected

representatives of the people that we don't have a right to know whether or

not the methods and practices that were utilized we're legal we're fair it's the

subversion of democracy I agree now your own party agreed to allowing this

testimony behind closed doors you're a Republican you're one of the younger

members what is the leadership of your party think of you going after them in

public on live TV for that decision well look I think it was the wrong decision

and I'm not alone we've had over 20 members of the Judiciary Committee

demanding a second special counsel to investigate the Clinton Foundation and

the bribes that may still be impacting our national security going forward and

that shows that there is a desire within our caucus to get answers for the people

we serve I can't go back to my district and explain to my voters that well we

just didn't give it any answer so we gave up we decided to throw our hands in

the air free that's not fighting good for you I'm not sure what I think I'm

confused I I mean I fall pretty closely I still don't know the Attorney General

can fix all of it Tucker the Attorney General has the power to step forward

demand answers and where we see clear evidence of bias to shut down the

elements of the investigation that are fed by that that have led to actions to

undermine the president but it's like we've got an attorney general who's a

spectator at the Department of Justice and not the real leader of that agency

congressman thank you it's good to see anything good to see you in here now

with more New York Congressman Peter King who

serves on the House Intelligence Committee congressman welcome good to

have you here tonight in terms of what you heard yesterday and obviously we

know it was a classified briefing but just to characterize was was mr. mchabe

forthcoming when you asked him about the bias that may or may not exist in the

FBI with regards to the Trump investigation I don't believe that

adequate answers were given others leave it at that I think there's a lot of so

many unanswered questions at least and questions which have not been resolved

for instance you know the whole question of the dossier what role did that play

if any as far as the investigation being commenced I mean you know we sort of

take for granted that you know this was an investigation against the

presidential campaign this is almost unprecedented and I remember last year

when we were told why it was begun we're talking about all of these contacts

unprecedented contacts between the Trump campaign and Russia were turns out there

virtually none and none of any substance then you have the dossier coming in as

to what role that played if any I'd be careful on this when the court the FISA

Court allowed warrants it's my understanding that the the Democrats

were looking for some evidence of collusion and in the they're questioning

yesterday they wanted McCabe to confirm that they had every reason to do that

unmasking and that the only thing that he mentioned that came out of the

dossier was that Carter page took a trip to Moscow well we all knew that Carter

page took a trip to Moscow so so if that is all that they got out of that that's

not a whole heck of a lot first well let me tell you a Carter

patient trip to Moscow there was absolutely nothing there that's clear we

know that now and to use that as any kind of excuse at all even if that was

only one of the bits of evidence they use to rely on that anyway to me was

that the only thing that he mentioned in terms of substantive information that

they got no it was not the only one but to me the other items you mentioned

also to me to not do not add up to anything

I'm serious question nothing certainly not enough to warrant going to a court

certainly not enough to warrant an investigation of a presidential

candidate and then have that investigation continue no so the text

messages between Peter struck and Lisa page are public record now they are out

there let's put one of them up on the screen that is of particular interest in

terms of what was going on here and whether or not there was any sort of

coordinated effort to do something against the Trump administration I want

to believe he said the path that you threw out for consideration in Andy's

office that there's no way he gets elected he being President Trump but I'm

afraid we can't take that risk it's like an insurance policy in the

unlikely event that you die before you're 40 did he confirm yesterday that

beat that Andy's office is his office again I was not there when he confirmed

it I think he did but again I can't be certain on that I just know they do not

adequately answer any of those type of questions and by the way on this month

let me just say for about four months now at least longer than that our

committee the House Intelligence Committee has been asking for all these

records we didn't get any of them until we had to go to court to get them and

the FBI should be cooperating with us the Justice Department should be

cooperating with us but these key emails text messages just the fact that these

people were involved none of that would be given to us we had

to fight for everything and this you know what are they trying to cover up

what's the you know why are they obstructing a committee from doing its

lawful work on a matter which is so vital to the country into the world I

mean just to circle back for a moment you say you weren't there when this was

confirmed but it's your understanding that he did confirm that he is the

answer I really don't want to say that officially cuz I'm not certain but I

mean that was that was the impression I had but I again I I don't want to say

that's affirmative ly okay so what's next in terms of these subpoenas and I

guess you know the American people watch this whole thing and they say well we

you know we funded the FBI we fund the Department of Justice why is all and I

know Congress is very frustrated that you're not getting the documents from

the FBI and the Department of Justice about what their feelings or involvement

may have been in any effort to be against the Trump administration the

American people feel the same way are we gonna see any sort of open hearings from

or or from straw on these issues I think you'll have open

hearings if depending what we've learned in the closed meeting because it is

important we do this close because again this is part of an ongoing investigation

we don't necessarily want other witnesses to know everything is being

said in there so they can't tell their stories to it but I just say this is to

me based on what we were told back in January and February about all these

extensive contracts how petrified everyone was of the involvement with the

Trump campaign and Russia so far we've seen nothing if they're relying on kind

of page or if they're relying on a dossier by the way which has never ever

been confirmed is it's virtually no way to back up with any any significant

points in there and the points we do look at they turn out to be nothing I

gotta go but just before you know before I let you go was there anything in

Andrew cabe's open testimony before Congress that he contradicted and behind

the closed in the closed session yesterday I really can't say 'mother all

right understood thank you very much Carson always good to have you with us

21% profits in 15 days on Bitconnect. (here's how....) // lending program proof review - Duration: 7:29.

21% profits in 15 days on Bitconnect. (here's how....) // lending program proof review explained withdrawal capital release reinvest scam ponzi calculator calc david moadel

welcome to looking at the markets with David Modell I wanted to answer some

frequently asked questions about bit connect and then I wanted to show you

how I'm doing with doing with bit connect so far so here's a very common

question is bit connect a pyramid scheme well I would say no and here's why in a

pyramid scheme you have to recruit other people in

order to make money in the bit connect lending program you don't have to

recruit other people if you don't want to and you can still earn approximately

one percent interest per day sometimes it's more sometimes it's less but it's

about 1% on average per day now if you do choose to bring people into the

program you can earn more than that but it's not required

so not a pyramid scheme here's another frequently asked question about bit

connect how does bit connect payout

approximately 1% interest per day well according to the bit connect website

when you lend the funds to them they will invest it for you with their

volatility software also known as the trading bot they will pay you

approximately 1% interest every day even on weekends and holidays they will also

return your principal investment what you originally invested to you after the

landing period is finished and this is called capital release when they return

your initial investment to you so how much does the program payout and again

this is from the bit connect website it depends how much you invest in there if

you invest between 100 and $1,000 and I originally invested three hundred and

ten dollars okay so I'm in this first tier here the first level and I will get

my capital back the capital release after two hundred ninety nine days and

so I will receive whatever the baht the trading bot or volatility software gives

me every day again one percent more or less and it's up to

40% per month okay plus whatever I get for affiliate Commission's but so far

mostly I've been getting paid through interest which is great all right now if

you put in between one thousand ten dollars and five thousand dollars you'll

get the same thing except you'll also get an extra point ten percent daily and

you'll get your initial investment back sooner you'll get it back after two

hundred thirty nine days if you put in between five thousand ten and ten

thousand dollars you get all that but you get an additional point twenty

percent daily instead of just point ten percent and you get your initial

investment back after one hundred and seventy nine days and if you put in

between ten thousand and ten dollars and a hundred thousand dollars you'll get

you'll get point twenty five percent bonus daily in addition to whatever the

volatility software interest is and you get your initial investment back after

only 120 days you get it back pretty quickly all right so why should I sign

up for the program with you you might be wondering well it doesn't cost you

anything to sign up with someone and you won't earn any less money if you sign up

with someone compared to doing it alone so why not do it it's better to sign up

with someone because then at least you can get some help and mentoring from the

person you signed up with that's why it's important to choose someone who is

trustworthy and is good at helping and educating people all right so if you're

going to sign up don't sign up with just anybody

make sure it's somebody who you believe can help you and is good at guiding you

will be good at guiding you through the process and it's not just going to you

know abandon you okay somebody's going to stay with you to help you through the

process all right so now we're going to take a look at how I'm doing personally

with the bit Connect lending program so now I'm on the bit connect website and

let's see how I've done so far I've been in the program for 15 days and my

original investment was 3 and $10 so in 15 days my total earnings

has been 64 dollars and 87 cents and a small part of that was affiliate bonuses

but most of it was lending profit so let's do the math with a calculator here

in 15 days I earned $64 and 87 cents and if you divide that by the three hundred

and ten dollars I invested and then that's the decimal so you need to

multiply by a hundred to get the percent there it is that's almost almost 21

percent that I've earned in 15 days so that's well over one percent per day and

even if I just only included the interest payments or the lending profit

it still would be around 1 percent or pretty close to it

average per day which I've been getting paid every single day for 15 days and

then that includes weekends holidays every day I'm getting something and

there have been no days in which I've lost money if you're in the lending

program you'll never have a negative day as long as you're in the program every

day you always get paid something as opposed to just investing in bit Bitcoin

or something like that where you're going to have negative days including

some very negative days you're gonna take some big losses on some days most

likely if you invest in in Bitcoin or any other coin or or in stocks or

options or whatever whereas with this program the bit connect lending program

every day you're making something that I guess the worst that could happen is you

make zero on any given day which I have not seen so far and that seems pretty

unlikely so far every day I've gotten something and there have been no

negative days for me so that's how the lending program works and if you'd like

to sign up you can go ahead and go below this video to the description and there

will be a link there that you can sign up for a bit connect with and you can be

part of my team and if you're part of my team and you have questions I can help

you you just have to email me my email address is David Modell at gmail.com and

for example if you need help transferring your funds over to the bit

Connect website or you have questions about how to reinvest things like that I

can be your guide or your mentor with that if you'd like if you sign up under

me okay so thanks a lot I appreciate it very much and please subscribe to my

youtube channel give this video a like and a comment I really appreciate that

thanks a lot and I'll talk to you again soon

Take Sam to Church | December 20, 2017 Act 3 | Full Frontal on TBS - Duration: 6:52.

Welcome back to the show.

Though he's locked down the death cultist vote,

there are people of faith willing to stand up

to Donald Trump.

A defense of white supremacy seems

to have presented no moral quandary for one

group of Trump's advisors--

because so far every member of his

evangelical advisory council is staying

put, with one exception.

Pastor A.R. Barnard, founder, Senior Pastor,

and CEO of the Christian Cultural Center.

The only member of the president's Evangelical

Advisory Board to resign.

When he vacillated over the last week--

especially over Charlottesville-- I

had to fully disengage myself.

Wow, who is this a rare beacon of godly principle

in these ungodly times?

To find out, I had to step out of my comfort zone

and into church.

[INHALES]

[MUSIC - "HALLELUJAH"]

Samantha?

Samantha.

Lord?

No, this is pastor Bernard we're

suppose to meet in my office.

Get off my stage.

Of course, I'm so sorry.

SAMANTHA BEE (VOICEOVER): How exciting

to be invited into the pastor's sacred space

and have a spiritually refreshing

conversation about our nation's 45th President.

I physically want to vomit when I hear

Donald Trump talk about Jesus.

I feel like there's so much vomit inside me

that it might blow my eyeballs out of my head.

Well I hope you have a lot of reserve vomit

because there's a lot to observe, I think,

as long as he's in office, OK.

He doesn't come across as someone who

legitimately knows the Bible.

But if that were true, then why is the Bible so

high on Trump's reading list--

of two books?

My second favorite book of all time--

what's my first favorite book?

The Bible.

The Bible.

How many seconds were you into the council

before you realized, whoops I'm not

going to effect change here.

Meeting two.

Meeting two?

Yeah, meeting two.

Oh.

How long did it take to [LAUGHING] say, OK I got you.

What did you think that you would

be able to achieve by being part of his advisory council?

That I would be a voice--

a minority voice at the table--

to help influence policy, ideas, initiatives.

Fast forward to May of 2017--

sitting in the blue room next to him at the table having dinner.

So, I engaged them and I seized a good 15, 20 minutes

to talk about the inner city.

How many of those minutes do you think there's a possibility

he thought you were Ben Carson?

Well, I don't look like Ben, so I think--

and I hope-- that he realized Ben wasn't sitting next to him.

Let me just picture it.

He's sawing through his well done steak--

dousing it in ketchup.

And bragging about how great the food is, yeah.

Great.

It was like, a person who was so fascinated

with being where they are that that

was the most important thing.

SAMANTHA BEE (VOICEOVER): And lucky for Trump,

he surrounded himself with an evangelical counsel

who were equally fascinated to find

themselves in the White House.

And they're still there after the sexual harassment

allegations, and mocking the disabled,

and sympathizing with white supremacists,

and endorsing an accused child molester--

I mean he's running out of commandments.

Like if that's not the point where Jesus taps you

on the shoulder and goes, dude, this is not working out--

then I don't know what is.

This is not all bad because America has been exposed.

We're being forced to have a conversation that we've needed

to have since the Civil War.

I interpreted him as a Saul--

someone who was put into power not at the desire of God,

but as a concession to the people--

and who ended up exposing the spiritual and moral condition

of the nation.

So this is ripping off a very healthy

and lovely Band-Aid to reveal the rot

at the core of humanity.

Great.

SAMANTHA BEE (VOICEOVER): As with any open oozing sore

you've got to get the puss out, but the question

remains, who or what will be the ointment

this nation needs to heal?

I think that a lot of people look to the evangelical

community-- especially right now-- and say,

why are you not standing up?

Where is your voice?

I guess I would ask that community--

you know for all that we have lost all ready and for all

that we are about to lose, and the worst

that we might get into--

is it worth it?

You have to ask those questions--

what do you stand for, what are you willing to fight for?

And if you are in a situation where you can compromise

those values, you better think carefully--

what you are giving in exchange for your life, your reputation?

But you know, it seems like a lot of Evangelical leaders

are very comfortable using Donald Trump--

who's really a heathen--

I mean they're using him as a cudgel in the culture war

and they seem very comfortable with that.

You know, there's a wonderful passage of scripture

in the book of Samuel that says, "Man judges by the outward

appearance," so people are judging

the counsel by their actions-- or their lack of action.

What would you urge your colleagues in the Evangelical

community to do?

Hold them accountable-- put your relationship,

your access, at risk.

Be willing to walk away--

be willing to demonstrate that you have a set of convictions

beyond just your redemptive motivations for his soul.

You have a responsibility to the nation.

Is Donald Trump going to heaven?

We're in a holy place you can't lie.

You cannot lie.

I cannot say who will or who will not go to heaven.

I'll say it.

There's no way.

[MUSIC - HALLELUJAH]

[AUDIENCE CHEERING]

We'll be right back.

Vlad prepares for WAR: Russian troops attack Europe in huge military drills - DAILY NEWS - Duration: 2:31.

Vlad prepares for WAR: Russian troops attack Europe in huge military drills

THE Russian army simulated an attack on Europe in a series of aggressive military drills.

Hundreds of thousands of troops took part in the exercises across Eastern Europe.

They featured heavy artillery, tanks, rocket launches and simulated air and navy raids.

There were fears Russian leader Vladimir Putin was using the September training as a cover

to station soldiers and equipment in Belarus.

But now analysts from two Western intelligence agencies have claimed they were a dry-run

for a "shock campaign" against Western European NATO members.

They told German media the drills were in preparation for a "full-scale conventional

war against NATO in Europe".

Russia practised "neutralising or taking under control air fields and harbours (in

eastern Europe) so there are no reinforcements arriving from other NATO states there."

Troops also rehearsed the capture of Baltic states – Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

Pilots prepared for taking out airports, power reactors and naval bases.

The sources said: "They exercised bombings of Western European targets, approaching the

German and Dutch coast from the North Sea as well as the Swedish, Finnish and Polish

mainland from the Baltic Sea.

"The drill included waves of Tu-95 strategic bombers as well as support aircraft like fighter

jets and re-fuelling planes."

They estimate that around 120,000 military personnel were involved.

A US spy plane was spotted flying towards Russia this week as tensions escalate between

Washington and Moscow.

US Air Force plane Rivet Joint – a surveillance aircraft – was detected flying over Europe

as it appeared to head for the Russian border.

The plane is designed to monitor signals and can also carry out electronic warfare missions.

M: See you next month. Hopefully you will get better.

H: If I'm not free, can i reschedule?

M: Please don't reschedule.

M: I want to see you.

L: Can't eat or sleep, did you get your heart broken?

P: Still not finished?

P: Are you seeing someone?

L: Keep up the good work or be out of a job before you know it.

Anne Kjaer Riechert: Tech for Peace - Duration: 7:15.

How do we get, say, 600,000 people to collaborate on solving a problem together?

It's incredibly complex.

That is where we need the technology to step in and create that kind of platform

that allows people to communicate and talk.

The great opportunity is, of course, we know exactly who is talking to whom at what time

and we can pull that data out.

And if we can analyze this in a way where we can really test what kind of collaboration

is leading to the best kind of end results that is really solving the challenge that

we set up in the beginning, we can start operating in a much smarter way in the way that we look at

social challenges like poverty, like the refugee crisis but also very local problems,

looking at how do we make more livible cities, how do we increase happiness in cities.

And this was really my route into technology.

I was allowed by Stanford to start the Peace Innovation Lab here and start bringing the

social innovation and social entrepreneurship community together with the tech and

the start-up scene here in order to build bridges again and to share knowledge, do workshops

on a monthly basis where we're looking at what kind of local challenges can we solve because

most people might think that Berlin is a very peaceful society.

But if you look at homelessness, if you look at challenges like obesiety, depression,

there's plenty of issues that we can tackle in order to make a happier society or a happier city

to live in, and this is what we wanted to tackle.

Facebook is a perfect exmaple of how you can build digital communities and how you can

bring people together across borders and break down borders because in an online world where

we draw, you know, national borderlines is not that evident.

I mean, there are still divides online, and we can certainly work on those but I think

it's wonderful to see people coming together because of shared interests,

and I think we can do that online.

But again it's the very early days of the internet.

I think we haven't even started to really see what this could become.

I think movements like Bitcoin are really challenging the way that our financial systems

are operating, it's tremendously interesting.

For me, what I'm really trying to work at is to see OK, the internet has so many opportunities

but at the moment it's only a selected few people who are part of that, and a lot of that

would be young, males who might be very privileged and sitting in the major cities

in Silicon Valley or in Europe.

And I think that we need to educate a lot more people I think.

Programming should certainly be part of the curriculum, like mathematics have been for a long time.

Because more people need to be part of that kind of conversation and need to influence

and understand how society online could be working.

And for me bringing more people into that conversation is important, so that is why

we started ReDI School is to help train and then help educate and make people understand

how they can get jobs or how they can be responsible citizens in an online environment.

So for me what I would love to see is that we're able to find a way that we can educate

especially people sitting insde, who are stuck in refugee camps, say, in Jordan, in Zaatari

to understand how they could be doing jobs online because right now they are stuck

but if they have internet access,

if we can help them have laptops, even you could be doing work just through your smartphone

as a way to take care of yourself, earn money and have jobs.

I think that would make a huge difference.

So we started officially with 42 students in February 2016.

Since then we had already 4 semesters which means that we now have around 250 students

who have been through the programme.

We currently have about 130 students who are studying with us across 10 different courses.

So the direct impact that we've had on lives and encouraging people to study and keep improving

themselves and training their skills, that is one part of it.

But we can also see when we ask our alumni: What are you doing now?

We can see that about 40 percent have either landed a paid job or paid internship.

30 percent are back at university studying, and the last 30 percent are continuing to

take courses with us improving their skills and improving their network.

So I think those numbers are really quite significant, and I think that is what we want

to see more often and not just in Berlin but we are looking at scaling right now in two

other German cities, starting with Munich, but also looking at how could we take the

ReDI school model and help in places like Jordan.

Could we imagine a ReDI school in Iraq helping the refugees there get jobs as well?

But my strategy all along has been "Nail it before you scale it",

so let's make sure that we know what we're doing.

Let's make sure that it's a high quality product.

When we know what the dynamics are, that it's also financially sustainable,

then it is the right time to scale.

And we're just there now which makes the future very exciting.

We have Heba and Hadir, two of our Egyptian female students, who came to us and were really

quite shy and started studying with us and then have now become mentors and are actually

teaching digital skills to elderly people, so Germans who are struggling to know how

to use their mobile phones.

So once a week they go and they work with all these like people in their 70s and 80s,

and you can just see how they have become so proud and so confident.

The last thing that they showed me was that they have created this like 70 page curriculum

to teach other women how to use the computers.

Because they realized that there is a lot of female refugees who have never,

they don't have an email account, they don't know how to use Word

and therefore don't know how to do online banking.

They don't know how to get an appointment with the doctor online.

And these two girls, sisters, have just decided this is just not good enough,

so they have created this curriculum, printed it out.

It's in 4 languages.

And we never asked them to do it.

They just saw the opportunity, they saw that there was a need and then they set out to do it.

And I think it's tremendous to see, and I really like this approach, and that's what we're

trying to install in all our students is "Pay it forward! Help others!"

And only that way we can really, you know, get to everyone.

Back Home, Supplements, Training, Dining and Reading | Ep 9 of #Authentic Alex - Duration: 16:58.

Hey guys Alex here, so I'm back from my epic Finland trip to Helsinki. Huge trip ten

days away I think it was. Going over was like 35 hours of traveling, coming back I

was through the North so it was four flights - an extra flight. 44 hours of

traveling. Perfect chance to test this out the Humancharger. This is

the Oura Ring app so this is before I left. Right look at these sleep scores

91, 85, 88 It's reading the score is based on ...

HRV, heart rate or sleep you know activity movies etc. Already in this course

ninety-four percent eighty seven eighty eighty five. The reason I'm showing you

this is I was - I am healthy I don't stress the body too much

I sleep great. So this is designed to help the body when we

don't have perfect sleep we don't have bright light. When we are traveling.

I've realized that this actually is a good product - amazing product. Because it can

help you get the things that I'm getting here in a normal normal life. So in

Helsinki for instance, it was so dark right and then the Sun would come up

like hardly come up would be cloudy so it's not a very bright day. There's just

not much Sun around. So using this I could mimic the Sun without being

outside. In previous trips before I've had this

device even despite the bad sleep when I got to the destination I'd be exhausted,

but you'll go to bed and you just be like you know your mind was racing. I

just--can sleep. And so, it was funny because I went to bed tired or exhausted

thinking I really hope I get to sleep, and I did. Like my sleep latency time and

the Oura app was tiny was minuscule. What didn't happen though it was I didn't

stay asleep for an extended period. So I was waking about six hours later at

about 5 o'clock. Coming home I alerted my flight into TripIt. It was an app

I've seat up the other day. Before I left. Now it's really cool I should have done

it a few days before I left because what it does is it pulls all the data and

looks where you're going and the time-zones

differences. And then tell you when you should be using the app and everything.

Prior to going. And then it's just giving you these reminders like when to use the

the device. See those little sunlight graphs there. And then if you turn on

notifications I'd just pop up it's Humancharger time. The science behind it is

really solid, so I'm gonna do a blog article looking at some of that science.

While I was in Finland as well I spoke to some very smart people not related to

the Balki company or the Humancharger company and they were saying oh that's a

really good product like that the science behind is solid, like that a lot

of the locals use it. So that was kind of reassuring. Learning that was good my

personal experiences now - I've just share them with you. If you have any questions let me

know.

So I want to show you a few of things I brought back from Finland.

Some of these are health-related some of them are just things I've brought back. When I

had the sauna session with Tamer I had an organic bill green drink juice and it

was really good. I've got some dried ones and some powder. I bought back some

reindeer snack sticks, some local chocolate. I got gifted this I hope I can

say this right Kuksa cup. I hope I said that right. So this is a

traditional cup used in Finland. It's got a little bit of a reindeer bone - I think

it is - up top there. Thanks to the Oura guys, it's a very nice gift. I got some sweets

and candles for my mom, a can of reindeer meat. So I brought that back for

the family. We can we can share it Christmas Day. Definitely not

health-related but some vodka. I had that for dinner one

night when I was in Oulu. And they said these are cloud berries. So I never heard of

them before. Some gin - this is like

the best gin in the world. I'm not much of a gin drinker - but

figured I'd get a for our wedding day.

Got "Finland in a box" - which is for give this to my family .Giving it was the

a hundred years anniversary they had lots of uh lots a little goodies and wot not.

And this actually has some some neat stuff in there.

So that'd be a good little gift. And then this thing I got - that's my favorite

and this is definitely not help related. And I'llt probably gonna lose a few

vegetarian or vegan followers. It's my reindeer skin and I got it through

the customs. I was so happy it's so nice it's like so thick there. Yeah so I

love like hides and skins and stuff. So that was some of my treasures. If

you're watching this on youtube hit subscribe because I do a ton of reviews,

check my blog if you haven't - my #Authentic Alex blog - vlog and you can see

more about my life and you can even see I'm using this on a day to day life-

Follow me on Instagram @alexfergus_coach - I do a lot of little

stories, inside since my day as well and that's all.

So I just got a parcel from

Perfect Keto. So for those of you that don't know anything about ketosis - I've got two

articles on ketosis one of them's called: Everything you Need to know about

ketosis. And it's rather in-depth so check that out at alexfergus.com.

Yeah I mean personally I don't eat it ketogenic diet and I don't recommend

it on a long term point of view. I think it can do a lot of damage. But saying

that once a week I fast I do it 24-hour fast usually every Sunday. Not every

week but try bringing in now and there. On that day I will take some ketones.

So this is what I take this is just exhaustion is ketones peaches and cream

flavor better hydroxy butyrate. Ketones in there a little bit of

magnesium and calcium. So again I'm not into ketosis - I don't take this every day. I

just take it when I'm fasting is a bit of it energy pick me up. And in this this

is another perfect keto supplement this is the pre-workout supplement. I really

like this and this is something that I do take

not every day but every time I train. I think is a great performance aid so it

makes sense it's in there. But sometimes I train quite late in the day like six

seven o'clock at night. Which isn't great I mean I shouldn't be training that

late. So it does impact my sleep. So it is the green tea it is derived from

green tea the caffeine in here. So it's not a super potion and it is only fifty

milligrams which is probably about half a cup of coffee.

I'll only take this one training you know three or four o'clock but much

later than that I might take a half scoop I'll be quite careful with it. I'll

put some links and stuff in the notes below so you can check out all these and

do all that fun sort of stuff if you want to look into it.

Rebecca's gotta make the dinner with the zucchini noodles. She has already started.

And I'm gonna make my ginger beer.

Looks good huh. Zucchini noodles, pesto, the chicken, ginger beer, Rebecca's

organic wine, extra lemon and salt. Thank You Rebecca.

So today's Sunday I wanna clock today we're going to look at another property

up in. It looks like a pretty nice property in a nice house but it's a

little bit out of our budget so hard to get too excited about it. Anyway that's

us for the day.

So we just remembered the Sunday morning markets are on- I'm

gonna pump down here first.

This is upstairs looking at the property.

There's definitely lots of space. Lots of car space -t there's two double

garages on the main house and then you have this shed here which is huge. It'l be a

good spot for a gym. And then there's a little shed down here. Oh this would be those sheep sheep shead

Just got home from our little routing and of course it's beautiful day and the sun's

out here so so much for our swim. But regarding the property it's probably

probably not quite us. Rebbeca didn't like a few things about it and yeah the

price wasn't quite what we're after as well. So anyway we will continue our

search and continue waiting until we find the right one.

Alex here. So today

I'm going to do another quick workout. I'm gonna do another neuro mass workout.

Which we do time on detention, explosive and then isometric hold. I'm gonna do a

chest, back, leg and then maybe some hamstrings. That's it - it's literally

gonna be 20 minute workout and I'll just get into it.

Now for the fun part - the legs.

I'm definitely out of shape. It should be a lot of benefits just from that one session. Even

if you're trying I'm not trying to do a body builder. So I like to do these.

Let me know what you think of it. Give me a thumbs up if you enjoyed it.

We're finally getting some nice day there in New Zealand so I'm reading outside again.

This week's book is Built to Sell by John "I'm not gonna say the last name" Warrillow.

This is another business book. I mean I

really like it because it's not like it typical textbook or you're a how-to book.

It's actually written like a novel it's not full of facts and notes - it's a story

and of course people humans remember stories.

So 2018 is gonna be all

about simplifying my work, life, my businesses, getting rid of some projects

I have on the side, outsourcing, delegating and selling.

Selling businesses. It's just a good book for anyone who wants to get

into business because the story is something you'll remember for a long

time and they'll be a lot you'll take away from it. I highly recommend

that if you're in the business space and if anyone is interested in buying some

businesses make sure you reach out to me.

All right guys I just got here and heard

the doorbell ring and I got parcel if it's what I think it is. It's a bunch of

red lights! I've realized that you can actually make these or give them source

to yourself at a pretty reasonable price.

So we've got the device 2 4 6 8 10 12 lights. Gonna turn it on.

Three of them are um IR and then the remaining nine right. So the

reason I got this even I've got my full Joovv panel is that I can do other areas of

my body while I'm doing the Joovv panel. So now I can drop the panel down and

just do you know my body and my balls with the panel and then use this for one

side of my mouth the other side. Which is pretty cool huh.

And this was pretty cheap but I did have to buy ten of them.

I got a few plp old friends that wanted them, I'll use some as gifts because

we're coming into Christmas season and I'll use one as well. But you know what?

Here's what I'm gonna do I'm gonna give one of these away to anyone you know in

the world wherever you are. All you need to do is share this video,

this vlog either on YouTube or share the YouTube listing or the the link on my

site alexfergus.com. Share this on Facebook and use the hashtag #authenticalex

- all right the name my blog. Just share that I'll randomly pick one person

and I'll send you one of these lights and if you didn't have no idea what this

lies about what are those I'll include a link to the red light

article and the show resources for this week's episode. Go do that before the end

of the year I'll randomly pick a winner and I could be sending you one of these.

So today's a big day! So why is it a big day? It's a haircut day.

Today Star Wars come out.

Rebecca and I go out for a meal and then we'll go

back to the movie. So that's tonight! I'd love to know who's

got another buyer X slash now all those fans up here and just just comment in the

comment box if you are and we can like virtual high five each other.

Anyway I'm out to see Star Wars - by

Okay so every week I make sure they have some

liver - some couple of a cows liver, grassfed. And I also recommend it to my clients

on the hormone reset program. They have liver as well. Unfortunately I don't

really like the taste of liver. I've tried all sorts of tricks and um I just

really struggle with it. So what I do is I buy this powder. I'll put a link to it in

the show notes or YouTube notes. I'm gonna show you how I do it because it

makes getting your weekly liver hit so much easier.

Table spoon, I hope I've done this right.

And ad to it some water but only a little bit of water. The idea is you want to

make a paste you can add a flavor masker. All right so, yeah I've got hot cherry

which is quite bitter. I've also got this peppermint drops. SO I'll use this cherry here

yet which is good for sleep - melatonin. Steer and then if you're really

not a fan of it get another glass of water have that as a chaser.

That's it there's my liver hit for the week. Try it at home and let me know

how you get on.

Time after reassess: Hugh Jackman announces unemployment toughness Earlier this yea Breaking News - Duration: 3:06.

Earlier this year, Hugh Jackman announced he'd step down from the Wolverine role that cemented his star status. Now, the overworked actor has sparked retirement concerns, confirming his promo duties for The Greatest Showman will be followed by 'a period of unemployment.'

'I'm really proud of everything I've done,' he told TheFix on Wednesday, 'But I want to just take a little time to reflect, to just reassess and see where I head from here.'

While the 49-year-old certainly didn't announce any plans to retire, it's the first time the actor has sounded so murky on his future.

Known for his unrelenting workaholism and dedication to spending time with fans, the interviewer struggled to even think of what Hugh would do with 'spare time.'

'What does Hugh Jackman do with his spare time? Are you binging junk food and watching TV, or what happens?' she asked. An excited smile swept across his face, as he thought about having to do nothing for the first time in years.

'I'll tell you tomorrow!' he beamed, 'It [unemployment] starts tomorrow.' 'Um, I love to read and I love the outdoors and I'm probably a quieter person than you'd think,' he reflected.

Continuing to list of the possibilities, he added: 'I like to cook I like the theatre, what else do I love? I like sport...'

'But I want to just catch up with my mates,' he said, 'I want to just take a little time to reflect.' 'It's been an amazing year for me, I'm really proud of everything I've done and... you know [sigh] just reassess and see where I head from here.'

And Hugh couldn't think of a better place than his hometown of Australia to spend his first days of unemployment, he . 'There's nothing like being at home,' he said, offering his biggest smile in some time.

'There's nothing like swimming at Bondi Beach on Christmas morning.'

Lecture et dyslexie c'est possible ? ⎮ #NowYouKnow - Duration: 6:02.

Hi, everyone!

As you can see, today we are in a totally different setting

since thanks to the L'Oréal Foundation, I have the opportunity to ask all the questions I wanted

to a scientist

As some of you know, I am dyslexic

and even if it is something I have been able to overcome

there are still a number of questions that are perplexing

and I wondered if science could answer them

So let's do this!

Hello Margaux, thanks for being here

Can you introduce yourself, please?

I am a researcher, working on my PHD in neuroscience research

And how old are you if I may ask?

I am 24

Impressive

It's great that you're here, maybe you can help me answer some of my questions

What is the relationship between neuroscience and dyslexia?

And is neuroscience able to explain it?

It cannot explain all dyslexia but provide some key clues

Researchers have discovered for example that some genes are associated with dyslexia,

and this has allowed parents and children to feel less guilty

Therefore, it is rather cool because it means that it is not our fault and we cannot do much about it.

Yes exactly, you must know that our brain was not designed to learn how to read

It is something that is cultural It is something new

Does that mean that if we are dyslexic we can never hope to change this?

Or that it has nothing to do with it?

Not at all! To begin with the brain has plasticity

Now that we know a little better what are the causes of dyslexia

we can understand if a child is dyslexic a little earlier

and design teaching methods that are most favorable to his learning

OK

I see! Let<s not move along!

Super

OK it is very interesting what you telling us

but me I would love to learn a little more about you

How are your days organized?

What do you do? Are you in your lab? Are you dissecting brains?

I do not touch brains at all, for sure!

I only see them as very beautiful images on my computer

my days can be very different

At the heart of any research there is experimentation

so there is both programming, i have to create games on computers

not quite like these unfortunately, my games are not as entertaining

and then I have to test my experimentations

so we go to schools, we explain, we play with the little ones

and then I process the data, I look at what it could mean

It is so cool!

So for the moment, I am studying how training can modify the brain

but also how its morphology can constrain the brain

When you talk about the morphology of the brain

is it like the morphology of the human body for example?

The fact that you have some people who are small and some who are big

I would also associate it with the morphology of the face

Each face is unique. Every brain is also unique

And therefore what makes it unique? Is it its wrinkles, its grooves?

It precisely both the brain furrows but there is also the thickness of certain regions

so there are certain determining factors that make it unique

so we have studied how these furrows can explain the differences in the ability to read

It only accounts for a very small part of our reading abilities

we have found that the socio-economic environment, enducation etc can have a 60% impact on reading

But that only 4% are related to the morphology of the furrows and of one groove in particular

Let's move on to the next subject

which is apart from reading, even though it is the subject that interest me the most

Neuroscience is focused on whatt else?

A lot of things, everything that defines what is human

everything that is related to human behavior so memory, reasoning, creativity

I often hear around me that we only use 10% of our brain 68 00:04:07,980 --> 00:04:10,180 Is it true or totally false?

That is totally false

even when we are asleep

even when we are resting, when we are not thinking about anything there is more

than 10% of our brain at work

And since we are talking about the brain, there is the expression "if you have a big brain, it means you are more intelligent,

and on the contrary if your brain is smaller, you may be less smart"

Is it true or not?

It is false

the size is not that important

It is known that Einstein's brain was actually smaller than normal

About that, Einstein was dyslexic if I remember

I cannot say for sure but it is probable

I think so... I was always told to be reassured: "do not worry Emilie, Einstein was dyslexic"

And for example, although it may not have anything to do with it, that girls are more creative than boys

Because it is something that is often heard

It has been found of course that we are different from boys, we have homonal levels that are different

so it has a small influence on our brain anatomy

But there are more differences between the brains of girls than between a boy and a girl for example

So it is not because you are a boy or a girl that you are actually a better scientist?

It is not reserved for boys?

No, it is not reserved for boys

Therefore, if you have a message to get across for girls what would it be?

Well just run with it!

I succeeded, I think it is a subject that is truly fascinating

So go and do it!

Here it is, girls run with it, you got the message.

That's it for this video, I hope you enjoyed it

Thank you again Margaux for answering all my questions

Tarja Turunen Haastattelu @ Raskasta Joulua Vaasa 17.12.2017 - Duration: 14:53.

Hi, I'm Tarja Turunen and you are watching KaaosTV.

Hello to all you KaaosTV viewers. We are today -

in my home town Vaasa at the ice stadium.

Our guest is Tarja Turunen on her first appearance in KaaosTV.

Hello, Tarja. Welcome to KaaosTV and to Vaasa.

Thank you. It's wonderful to be here. Nice to see you.

It's even not that cold here in Vaasa. Awesome! It's going to be great gig tonight.

You are now working with the "Heavy Christmas" production.

Could you first tell us how did you came along to it in this year?

Well I was invited and it made me very happy.

This production have a long tradition and they have tour many years -

and grow in many ways. It was wonderful to get invited.

Production manager contacted to my manager -

and I said right away "of course if we can match the schedules".

I managed to do four concerts, because of my own gigs.

To the first one I flew from Czech straight to sound check.

It was totally...

- So you were nervous? - Totally! But if I wouldn't be -

there would have been something wrong. I've had so much fun here.

Wonderful togetherness with all these guys and girls in here.

It's been fun to sing with Elize and also with Marco.

Well since you mentioned Marco...

Was it back in 2005 or something when you were last time playing together?

What kind of feelings from the reunion?

When I was talking with Marco about his book he mentioned -

that he look forward to meet you again after a long time.

He came to knock on my door -

and we hugged a long time. There we started.

We end this concert to our "Ave Maria" duetto -

and there is so much emotions loaded to it.

Also audience reactions to us from town to town -

- have been really wonderful and great moments. - So you are gratified to see -

Marco also in here -

and you perhaps have a chance to chat a bit more than usually.

Absolutely and this got nothing to do with the Nightwish.

We just perform beautiful music together. Sure, we have been in the same band, but...

- You are just ordinary people to each other. - Exactly and -

speak about life, how its going, nice to see and so on.

It's been really fun.

Christmas is a quite important subject to you. You've performed in churches -

and so on. How important the Christmas is? You've also -

- just released a Christmas album in November. - Thanks, yes I have and -

actually it was a second Christmas album. The first one -

"Breath from Heaven" was released only in Finland. Was it already ten years ago?

This second is more international, a different kind of Christmas album -

named "From Spirits And Ghosts". Christmas is an important time for me.

The idea for this second album came from -

the fact that the Christmas comes to us all either you liked it or not.

Many people are lonely during Yuletide and people -

who are depressed and above all suffer from loneliness.

No one is not supposed to be alone.

It would be wonderful if all would have always some friend -

or someone to share time together. Christmas is -

a tough time for many people. We've all lost -

important and beloved people around us.

So this album tells about it. I wrote a song "Together".

"We are meant to be together" -

what this all is about and why perhaps the gloomier theme -

on this album. But -

it doesn't mean the album itself is gloomy, it is really beautiful music.

But song themes in generally are a bit gloomier.

In Finland we are used to a peaceful Christmas, -

we hope there is a white Christmas -

and it is a family celebration. Of course it is a family celebration all around, -

but we cherish the silence and peace.

Elsewhere it's more noisy "Jingle Bells" and American style.

- We don't have those things so much. - Exactly.

Perhaps that type of Finnishness is highlighted on the album -

so there are very different kind of Christmas in different countries.

How hard is to remake these Christmas songs, -

because people have some sort of frame how the song should sound and those are -

classic songs? I could imagine it is challenging to make those sound -

own kind yet somehow honor the original version.

That's true. My idea, the production base to this album -

was clear that I want a symphony orchestra, a choir and my voice. Perhaps some -

soundscape, keyboard type of...

- Soundscape compositions. - Yeah.

Album had to have intensely film score -

sound and it have that. I cooperated with -

Jim Dooley who is a film score composer in Los Angeles.

I've worked with him over ten years. He have done all orchestra -

arrangements to my rock albums. He is a super talent.

But it is super challenging for instance like "Deck the Halls", -

a song which is completely in major scale -

and harmonious with children voices, then turn that to terrifying -

Danny Elfman style. But sending brains to holiday helped.

Even there are thousands of artists who've made covers from these -

I still believe while listening the album now -

- that I managed to get rid off all the... - Patterns and -

- all those songs include. - Exactly. Of course -

the melody is same. Though in "Deck the Halls" it's in minor scale.

It's same, but my voice is already more melancholic -

and darker so that right away categorize it differently.

It wasn't that hard even though I recorded it at the Caribbean -

- with ocean view, sun and all. - Yeah, really gloomy place - NOT!

Yeah, definitely not.

But when I placed the headset to my ears I was immediately in right atmosphere -

when the orchestra and music carried me away.

You've made a charity song from "Feliz Navidad" -

and there is a quite huge group of guest artists. Was it -

challenging to get them together with you or were they joining right away?

It wasn't challenging at all. I wanted those -

who are singing on it now. My friends from many years back.

Like Joe Lynn Turner who performs here tonight. We've known many, many years.

Musicians know musicians. "Ring Around the Rosie", that's how it goes.

Even there are Finnish artists -

and international artists it's still a small group.

In generally the most challenging is to fit everyone's schedules together.

- That must be the hardest part. - That truly was the hardest part.

We had to wait files although everyone answered "I will, I will, but I'm in a tour and..."

"I have six hours gap to do it -

in the nearest studio" and so on. It was challenging, but everyone made their best.

Everyone made their best to record -

their own small parts of the song here and there.

Truly spectacular that they joined the charity for island called Barbuda in the Caribbean.

Hurricane Irma... I've lived in Caribbean for few years now.

We have encounter three Category 5 stage hurricanes -

which went nearby and above.

- The devastation is really shocking. - Finns can hardly understand -

what it is. You can watch the videos, but it's not the same thing as to witness it on the premises.

We live in island called Antigua and its sister island called Barbuda is next to it.

There were about 1500 people living in Barbuda since it is a really small -

totally flat island.

Then Irma came and nobody lives there anymore. No one, nothing.

Totally catastrophically situation.

All the crying, grief and sorrow...

Then this album made me thought what kind of Christmas those people will have in this year.

- I imagine it couldn't be any worse. - True.

Then I decided to do this song and all the money...

I've encouraged people to purchase it.

Download and buy the song, because every cent goes there.

- No middlemen. - Do you know how much it have earned?

I don't know at all, I can't say anything yet, but I hope it is...

I hope I can help at least a one person so then it is a huge thing.

- Everyone can do something good. - That is true.

So the Christmas album is here, but with what kind of future plans -

you enter to the next year? What are you up to?

A lot and everything. I start to compose a new rock album from the start of the year.

I have my first break then for a long time. My body feels that it needs it.

I've been whole 2017 on rock tour and done also classical concerts.

Both sides, but on the run all the time and now I feel...

that I like to write music and I do it at the beginning of the year.

Rock concerts starts from China via Europe and Russia -

all the way to South-America in Spring. In Finland I'll be on summer festival.

So you'll see me also in Finland what is wonderful.

But next year will be more tranquil. A new live DVD -

which was filmed in Milano, Italy, will be released in next year.

- Little this and that. - So a rock album and gigs.

You mentioned your gig in Finland.

You've performed only few times on festivals in Finland. Is there some reason for it?

Perhaps I've been banned in Finland. That's my opinion.

- I mean it. - But there is not any schedule issues...

Not schedule issues. I haven't got a chance. That is the fact.

- Simple as that. - Exactly.

Thank God I have plenty gigs abroad.

I do have a career and had a life as an artist past ten years, but in Finland -

people are hardly aware what my situation in life is.

But it's okay. Every dog has its day.

Well you were judge -

in the Voice of Finland show which brought you forth and highlight again.

- All those kind of things help. - They say -

"no prophet is accepted in his own country". Isn't that an idiom?

Yeah, and don't they say that for rock bands in Finland -

you need to get famous abroad before Finns wake up and -

notice the band which is rather good.

When clubs are full abroad then also Finns bother to show up to gigs.

So perhaps us Finns take slow approach to new artists.

- At least I think that's often the problem. - You might be right.

But other news will get the headlines.

"Tarja sold gold in Germany and Russia." "Really?" No one knows about that.

- That's just how it goes. - Indeed.

Other things are more interesting. "Hey, she took a new tattoo!"

That is the nowadays lamentable media effect -

- when all nonsense is more... - But hey, I'm not...

I'm not absolutely complaining about this.

It is really wonderful to perform in Finland.

When I'm here I give it all. All the best fans are here, -

people support me and send -

plenty of mail. That part is still strong.

Those people and fans are still in here. I love it.

Thank you very much for your time and good luck -

for tonight last "Heavy Christmas" show.

Do you want to say something as a closure for you fans who watch this later?

- Stage is yours. You may take the microphone. - Absolutely I do.

I really want to... When will this be published?

- As soon as possible. Before Christmas. - Yes!

I want to wish you all a very peaceful Christmas and a better New Year.

We see at my gigs in next year and then we will -

rock. Take care. Love you!

Thank you.

If you liked this video, know that more are available

with many other super cool youtubers, by following hashtag #NowYouKnow on social networks 99 00:05:57,580 --> 00:05:58,380 Bye for now!

Thanks a lot

Lou Bruston - Danse pour quelque chose# 2 - Duration: 15:41.

Hello ! My name is Lou So if you're there listening to me right now,

it means that you've watch the video until the end

And for that, thank you so much !

But can you please stay two minutes more because i need your help.

I'm gonna tell you a bit about this project

and it's main character

He's called Max

Max is homeless

He lives in the street.

This means that in the short film,

Max is not an actor

He plays himself.

We met two years ago in Barcelona, in an association

that hands out meals to homeless people.

I was volunteering there.

One day, I told him about my project,

and asked him if he would accept taking part in it as the main character

He immediately gave me his full support

and that if this project could be beneficial for the world,

if it could help people and the homeless community,

, then he would do it

And so he did

And it was crazy, because one could think

that someone living in these conditions would have other priorities in life

to participate in some random guy's project.

He invested himself in the project as much as the rest of us

He poured as much hope, energy and time

Even though he wasn't leading the same type of live.

We quickly agreed

that I wouldn't be making a video

on his life and his personal journey,

but rather that Max would represent a whole community

And so, through our conversations,

through his testimony

his background And through my experiences and my inspiration,

I tried my best to make a video that would be simple and easily understandable by all

which highlights the gap that exist between the homeless and others

and the type of problems that they can run into,

even over the course of a simple uneventful day

and very often in the greatest indifference…

Everything was going just fine,

until I received a text message from Max that read :

"Lou, I'm going back to Peru, I'm leaving tomorrow, I'm sorry."

And since this day, nothing… I haven't heard from him in 9 months.

What worries me the most is that just after his departure,

Peru was the victim of some massive flooding

Something truly terrible

So with this message, I'm also trying to send a message to the world,

to everyone that is willing

to help me find Max.

First, I just want to make sure that he's alive and safe.

And I would also love for him to see this video,

so he knows that we saw the project to its end.

This movie, it is what it is.

It's not a Hollywood super production

and I'm not a professional filmmaker.

But we poured our hearts into it

and we believed in it.

And we are really proud of it !

It's about being able to say that we saw it all the way through.

And I want Max to see the result.

because he deserves to !

He deserves to be proud of himself,

He deserve to be proud of having seen it all the way through like the rest of us

and proud to have contributed to making the world a better place

And because the life of a homeless person

He might be in Peru

or lost somewhere in the middle of Europe

In reality I've got no way to know where he is

That's what I'm calling out

to all those who wish to help

by sharing this video as widely as possible,

To your friends and your family but even more

by sharing it with the organizations that help the homeless

If we do it everywhere in the world

With the social networks It can go really fast

We never know, Max could be close by Or we may find someone that knows him

I even thought about creating a hashtag : FindMax

But I don't know how to...

I'm really bad with this kind of stuff

Even Instagram,

I haven't really understood how to use it...

So if anyone has got some advice, or some contacts

that could help us find Max

There's my contact info in the description,

and I answer to every message I receive

I'm aware that it's not gonna happen in a day

But I do hope that someday in a few months,

or even in a few years

I'll receive a message from Max saying

Hi Lou, I'm doing well and I saw the video…

That would be awesome

Thank you all

I hope everything will go well for you

And come on, let's not wait for the new year to take some new resolutions

Let's use the Holidays season

To change the way we look at the people that live in the street

This people that are among us everyday

But that shouldn't just be part of the scenery

The guy that is begging on the sidewalk is not glued to the floor

He's not stuck to the walls

nor is he a lamppost

They are human beings Like you and I

And it doesn't matter why they ended up in the street

I don't think it's our place to judge

I read a sentence once, I can't remember where, that said

"No one has ever become poor by giving"

To give ...

And there is a lot of different ways to give,

You can give a look You can give a smile

You can give some of your time

You can give something material, some help…

Well, I won't keep going,

I'm not the Messiah !

Now, I'm gonna address Max

so I'm gonna switch to Spanish

Hi Max,

Before we start I've got a surprise for you.

Listen to the music. Sounds familiar ?

Hey Max, what's up ?

I hope you're doing well

Now I'm gonna dance for you !

Hey Max

How are you ?

I wanted to say hi

It was a pleasure meeting you

And it was very enriching to talk with you

I hope you are well, wherever you are

A big hug, bye bye

Hi Max, I just wanted to thank you

First for

sharing this experience with us

For being so close and real and improving so much

And second

for being an example

for continuing valuing life Even though sometimes it was a bit tough on you

We hope to see you again

and maybe even

go to the movies once again

with some popcorn and comment it at the end

Sending you a big hug wherever you are

much love thank you

Hi Max,

Just wanted to say thank you

I learnt a lot by your side

from your serenity

your justice

your energy

I learnt how to be an actor without being an actor

your attentive ear

I learnt from having walking in the darkness at your side

it help me a lot

I thank you from the bottom of my heart

A big kiss

I hope we see each other again

Hello Max

I hope you're doing great wherever you are

It's a shame that we could say goodbye

I thank you for all the efforts

and the energy you put into the project

In each day of filming

and each shot

Even when it had to be retaken a thousand times

I hope that someday

you'll get to see the project achieved

I was a pleasure meeting you

Take care !

Hello Max

We haven't gotten any news latel

We are a bit worried

Where are you ?

How are you doing ?

What are you doing ?

And if could you escape

this meteorological disaster in your country

Let us know how you are

Because we have very fond memories of you

There it is Max,

You saw ?

They are all there

They are all there You know that if you come back to Barcelona or Montpellier

You'll have a whole team behind you

We haven't finished the french classes

but at least we finished the project !

And this is thanks to you !

I don't know if this video will end up helping a lot of people,

but it doesn't matter

even if it only helps one person,

it'd be amazing

And I can say that it's all thanks to you, Max

That you participate in making the world a little bit better

and helping people

I really hope that one day you see this video

And that I will hear from you

because you said that if one day I go to Peru I'd have a home there…

And well, I wanna go to my peruvian home !

Well, I don't hold it against

for having gone this way

Even though it wasn't easy at first,

I know you're a good person. With a good heart and you had your reasons.

The most important is that you are doing well wherever you are

And that everything goes well for you

I don't know how long it will last,

But you have to know that I am here ,

and that you're with me here.

I won't forget you

That's why I say see you later My Friend

Photoshop Tutorial : How To Create Vintage Retro Effect With Grain - Old Photo Effect - Duration: 4:51.

Welcome to farzzology today

I'm gonna show you how to create a vintage retro photo effetc with grain and give a old look

First copy the background layer by pressing ctrl + J now convert it into a smart object

Then go to filter pixelate and pointillize

This will give you a grainy look, I'm going with 4

Look at this

Now change the blend mode to overlay that will help you to boost and increase the contrast

Now go to filter blur Gaussian blur

I'm going with 1 pixel

Okay now create a black and white adjustment layer

Set the preset to blue filter

Reduce the opacity around 50%

Now I wanna to desaturate a little bit

Set this around 30 percent

I think it looks good now open your texture

Change the blend mode to hard light and now look

Now i wanna add some brightness so open your curves adjustment layer and

Add some brightness and give your darker areas a little bit faded look

I think it's fine

This is before and this is after

Before and after
