I blame my negative relatives they were
always putting me down I blame my
cynical neighbors they're just selfish
looking out for themselves won't loan
you money they were on the list I used
to blame the economy I blame the
community that's a pretty good list for
not doing well isn't it
I thought it was good I'll never forget
one day mr. shelf was very kind but he
was also very blunt and this was no
exception and I'm glad he was blunt
there's a lot of things I have missed if
he hadn't been blunt one day was sort of

wrong
especially the salesman
see that's the difference in how your
life works out it's not what happens
it's what you do so here's one of the

tomorrow what are you going to do
that'll make a change in your life stir
good question what are you gonna do
starting tomorrow that'll make a
difference now see if you don't do
something starting tomorrow that'll make
a difference guess what it's gonna be
the same and see that way you can guess
what the next five years are gonna be
like look at the last five because the
next five are gonna be like the last
five unless you made your key tomorrow
change it all or change a little or
change something or don't change its
choice time you can do whatever you want
but it's nice to know any day you wish

I did a lot of events for the Dutch Football Association in 2016.
Like matches of the national Futsal team.
Before the match I had the chance to play against people who were attending the match.
I'm telling you. For the viewers at home.
It was a Panna day!
For real. Only Panna, Panna and some more Panna!
The ball in the shirt Panna, was something special that day.
I don't know, I'm a person who plays on intuition.
It's like when I do something crazy.
Let me try out some more stuff.
And then stuff like this happen.
You get Basketball/Freestyle/Street soccer.
Easy Man!
Yeah, I've got a lot of reactions about this one.
Everybody was asking me if I could do it again.
But this ain't stuff you can just do again.
But basically it was just repetition for the halftime entertainment.
But when it's showtime, the adrenalin starts pumping.
Because then I really have to shine, then it's really Easy Man showtime for real!
Then I watch the audience.
And it's like a full Football stadium.
But it's just somewhere in Almere or something. I don't know where.
I think I've been to every indoor court in the Netherlands.
But I really like the half-time entertainment.
But personally I like it when I play in Rotterdam.
Because there, the pressure is really high. Everybody knows me and Rotterdam is my hometown.
But even there, I didn't lose a single match.
Easy Man!
Panna All Day!!!
It's just Panna all day man.
All day long!
It's like 50 Panna's in a half an hour.
It's a like therapy for me.
When I really feel like playing Panna.
And then it's no mercy for anybody.
Who comes, will get a Panna.
But nothing but love for my opponents who tried against me.
Because I always say...

And anybody can get a Panna. But that day...
Those Panna's were on fire!

That year I visited Paris again.
My homie Séan Garnier invited me.

He told me, yo come visit me in Paris.
There is a Football week over here and we want you to join us.
Just hang out with the crew.
I also got the chance to play some Panna.
Because that's what he invited me for.
There was one guy...
He scored a goal and thought, yes I am gonna beat him.
Everybody was cheering...
and then... Panna!
I was surfing over there.
Panna here, Panna over there! From the back, from the front, right!
One fell when he got a Panna.
I don't know if you got that one.
In the air! Big, tall, young, old. Who ever wanted to try...
Got the Panna!
I also played a match against Melody. Shout Out to her!
She's a very good Freestyler.
But she told me...
I'm training groundmoves.
And I want to try against you.
And then you'll have to tell me what you think about my groundmoves.
And I told her I would like to see them off course.
She was really upgraded. She was playing very well.
She did some very nice moves. She even scored a goal.
But at a certain point...
I thought hey...
I have to put myself on the map here.
It's Easy Man in Paris!
So I also had to show her some moves of mine.
You know how we do it. Nothing but Love & Respect!
And I gave Panna after Panna!
It was so crazy man!
And the vibe was just...
It was just Panna Football, showtime...
Everything was complete. There was a very good vibe over there.
Shout Out to Paris man!
Séan Garnier asked me if I wanted play with him against the crowd.
I grabbed that chance with both hands.
I was killing it!
Panna after Panna, I even gave more Panna's then him
Even he told me: Hey Easy Man, you're on fire bro!
I said: Yeah man!
This is what I do, I take the Panna souls...
And I sleep with them! You know it!

In 2016 I also launched a new format.
It's called Easy Man street Challenge.
This format was really something else.
Really not my style, because I'm not really a vlogger.
But I did like it. Approaching people.
Ask them if they want to play against me.
Some people recognized me and said, no no, I'm not gonna play against you, I'l be on YouTube!
But some people said, sure lets try it.
Let me se what you got. so..
I had 6 hours...
On 5 different locations in The Netherlands.
On each location I had a half an hour...
To give as many Panna's as possible.
That was my mission for the day.
And I really completed it!
So many Panna's...
It didn't even fit on the video!
There were just too many, really a lot!
Panna's in Tilburg, from Helmond to Vlaardingen. Unbelievable!
Just Easy Man!
Oh and on that day. Edgar Davids didn't dare to play against me.

But what I can remember of that day...

I went to pick up Séan Garnier from the airport.
He told me...
There is Panna tournament again in Elbeuf and there is a price to win.
There's a price for the 1vs1.
There's also a nice price for the 2vs2.
I asked him: Aren't we gonna be too late for the tournament?
He said no problem!
When I come... The tournament starts.
That cracked me up.
I thought yeah man. This man is really a legend!
No problems, like you. Easy Man!
Keep on smiling, all will be fine!
I think I won the first match on goals.
Second match I gave a Panna.
The third match I also gave an awesome Panna to one of my buddies.
Ilyas Touba.
You know it. He's my homie for real.
You know, but that day I had to give him a Panna.
I didn't know what got into me, it just happens.
And he got a very crazy Panna man!
Everybody went crazy over there.
Everybody wanted me to win the tournament, because I was playing very well,
But eventually I had to play the final against Kristoffer Liicht.
And I was like 3 goals ahead.
And I thought it was already a done deal. I already won.
It's just Easy Man Showtime!
I was showing moves for the audience, I really tried my best.
But out of the sudden it became a draw.
And I thought, oh shit! This is crazy man!
And then it happend, he scored the golden goal!
And he took the price right under my nose.
He was really happy and I knew he never won a tournament before.
And especially against me.
He also looks up to me.
It was just a crazy final.
But still a fun experience. i wasn't mad...
Or disappointed or something.
I just thought, I screwed it up myself you know.
And I even liked it and it was really awesome man.

After there was the 2vs2 tournament.
Like you already know. Séan Garnier and me.
The first time when I played with him in Paris
We are just fire and fire together man!
He is really good!
I am also really good!
The both of us when we have the ball, either of us can decide a match.
And eventually we made it to the final.
We were up against Ilyas Touba and Hakim.
That match was just fire against fire man!
Yeah, he gave me the assist...
And I scored immediately.
He saw me coming loose from my opponent and ask for the ball...
I just had to touch the ball once...
Golazo!
That's how we won.
And then he...
What was really funny, was when he was telling in his camera...
Yeah Easy Man came loose and asked for the ball...
I saw his move... I pass...
And it's Golazo you know!
That was really dope man!
And then he starts imitating me in his camera.
You know, stuff like that. He was cracking me up.
Futsal Fissa was also a very fun project of the Dutch Football Association.
We had to visit 40 schools.
And we did a show at every school.
We were giving a lot of Panna's. We just turned the schools into parties.
It was really amazing for those kids.

I really gave some ridiculous Panna's at every school!
What really stayed with me, is when I gave someone a Panna...
I don't remember what school it was. I think it was the last one or the one before that.
I gave a Panna... And the boy ran out of the school!

That Panna was so crazy...
Even Nasse couldn't believe his eyes.
He was like, Easy Man what are you doing?
You really love the Panna! You really do!
I told him, yeah!
I did a crazy Dab Panna.. And he was gone!

The S3 crew had an 10th year anniversary. Séan Garnier's crew.
And he invited me to celebrate with them.
He organized a showcase match.
With 5 legends against a professional Futsal team from France.
And that was so dope! Seriously!
Everybody was giving his all and just showed what they got.

Leamssi also showed his moves!
Séan Garnier also represented himself with a few amazing moves!
I couldn't stay behind man.

One no look goal, behind the other leg. You really have to check that one out!
And not be forgotten, Lisa also gave a Panna!
Yeah the pressure was real high there.
Everybody was thinking when comes the Panna?
And then she gave the Easy Man Panna!

I have to caution about veins you before I begin...
Many men like to have large veins that show...
This is impressive...
The first and most important thing to indicate for the veins to show is...
To be better aesthetically and come forward and outward is...
We must consider body fat and diet...
When we are not on a diet and have more bodyfat...surely the veins...be elastic or not existant...
the veins could be hidden under a layer of fat or tissues filled with water...
It is best to be on a diet and maintain low bodyfat, enough for the veins to show...
The first thing to consider for the veins to show is to have low bodyfat...
We are going to go to the second example...
Veins showing depends on the genetics of each kind of individual...
We see many people, mostly men...they do not go to the gym much or have large muscles but they have large veins...
There are those that go to the gym, are careful of their diets and do everything...but...
They still cannot get their veins to show...as much as they wanted them to show...
As you can see, this all depends on how we are built and who we are...
Sometimes we cannot change that...
I am going to show you many examples from bodybuilding of how to get your veins to show including the Frank McGrath example...
Many of you know his style...full of veins from the top to the botton and on the arms, claves and legs...
This is like Mr. Olympia Jay Cutler...one of the best athletes...
Cutler did not always have the good veins but he was able to work at this and make them show...

Something we can change...Let us go to the third example, this is an issue of training and filling the area with blood...
We go to training and bring in the contraction and the pump to deliver the blood...to the muscle...
The muscles grow as they fill with blood and spread the skin thinly across the top allowing the veins to show...
I pretend to exercise and make contractions...with the bicep...
You can see the muscle pushing out the veins. You can see that as I am a little cold...ready for a competition in San Marino next week...
When we are cold, we are in diastole. The veins are relaxed and the blood flow is lower...
There are supplements that improve the veins like Citrulline and Arginine...ecetra...
One of the problems with these chemicals is that after training, after two or three hours the levels of blood flow will decrease...
If we have a competition or photoshoot we can use these products...vitamin B3 helps too...
Try these supplements before working out if you want...
Veins showing is not easy, this consists of many things as we have indicated, training and other things...
This is common in colder climates, I live in Germany where it is cold...usually the veins do not show well in these climates, the way I want them to...
for those of you that live in Greece, you will have better weather and an easier time getting large veins to show...
Do not consider that there is one clear and easy answer to this...do you diet and exercise...lower your body fat and things will come...
The veins will come automatically...another thing is the glycogon in the muscles...what does this mean?
This means how full of energy is the muscle? I will tell you easier...a diet with less carbohydrates and more protein...
When dieting this way the muscle is more pulled together and thicker...causing the veins come out and spread to look better...
Low carb diets are not necessarily good for the veins...
One must find a balance between good dieting and glycogon filling...burn the fat and lose the weight...
Keep the muscles pumped and full..another thing that many people forget is...
...working with the water in the tissues...
One must balance the water ingested by the muscles...
Be prepared for your workouts, take your vitamins...Ihope I have not worried you about your situations...

Welcome back to Dark Corners Advent Calendar of Horror.
We're taking a stroll through dark Corners Wax Museum of the Hungry Dead
and selecting horror movie art to count you down to Christmas in style.
Day 3
You don't have to be a great film to have a great poster,
and in this case you don't even have to be a watchable film.
Anybody who paid money to see werewolves on wheels did so because of the title and the poster,
which is everything that the movie should be, and so spectacularly fails to be.
It's a riot of activity, you can spend ages looking at it, picking out the details -
the werewolf with the arcane symbol around his neck, grinning as he rides his hog over a corpse.
The half naked girl posing elegantly as she's kidnapped, holding a skull and with a huge snake between her legs -
suggesting nothing I'm sure.
In the background there's a biker with a burning torch and a satanic ritual overlooked by a vulture.
Above all this poster has an animation to it,
like it's going to leap off the wall, and it's advertising a movie, so dreary,
so lacking in anything remotely resembling activity, that you genuinely would be better off staring at the poster for 90 minutes.

Timelapsing Copenhagen VLOG 2/2 - Duration: 5:29.
Early morning in Copenhagen
Now I'm going down for some breakfast
And then I'm going out to do my sunrise timelapse
Breakfast done
Now I'm going to the Metro
to do my sunrise timelapse
taking a shortcut through Field's to reach the station
I'm on my way to Fisketorvet
On Islands Brygge
The weather forecast said clear weather
but as far as I can see...
it's quite cloudy this morning
That's not a good sign
But.. I'm gonna try anyway cause you never know
The light is really bad this morning
That's the game
The forecast says one thing and the reality is different
It's totally cloudy
And the forecast said clear skies..
I managed to make one timelapse before sunrise
Weather is totally opposite of the forecast
So now I need to leave for the next location
and focus on the job
Its not worth dwelling over the outcome of this morning
I have a lot of locations to shoot
so now it's time to move on
Now I've reached the city hall tower
just by the tower here
where I plan on doing a hyperlapse
in this mid day light
right now the light on the tower is pretty good
So I'm thinkin' on looking for a spot to shoot
Right here I have a good view of the tower
I went a bit further back
but it's was necessary to get the right view
along with the street to capture the environment
So I plan to make a hyperlapse here
where I'll move along this white line
toward to tower
Right now it's totally clear skies
with no clouds at all
so I'll get a very consistent light throughout my hyperlapse
which is key to get a good result
I'm close by the opera house in Copenhagen
I've decided to make a day to night hyperlapse
which is a timelapse where I move the camera
while the light goes from bright to dark
from day to night
Its a quite compliceted process where I have to change my settings on the camera
while timelapsing
and correct it later in post processing
I think I'm gonna..
go down by the water down here
and then frame the shot up like this
I think it's gonna be nice
because there are these lights..
that will turn on at some point
and the transition from day to night
where the lights turn on is very cool
The light isn't very great
it's cloudy again
so that's a bit dissapoiting
but anyway to day to night transition will be awesome
A bit earlier today I was at this location
in mid day light
to make a hyperlapse of the street
The parliament and the stock market
I like this location because of the curvy street
that gives the timelapse a good dynamic feel
previously today I made a day light hyperlapse
and now I'm gonna do a night hyperlapse
completely similar apart from the light
and Im gonna blend them together in post production
to create the day to night transition
I hope it makes a bit sense
Ive created these for a while and they're pretty cool

and listen but the reality is he's just not.
Don't get mad at him, realize that he's not going to meet that particular need, go grab
a martini with Lexi so that you can both talk shit all night.
The point of this video is that men and women are very different and brain science actually
backs this up women typically have a much bigger limbic system than men which basically
means that you women are much more in touch with and more expressive with your emotions.
As you probably realized, women are more empathetic, and more comprehensive in thinking about things
like emotions and social interactions, while men focus on the exact issues and the exact
solutions to any problem.
Essentially they bring logic to the scenario.
- I just feel like I look really stupid in this hat.
- So why don't you just take off the hat?
- Cause I wanna wear a hat, stop always trying to fix things
- So what I urge you to do is make sure that you have different people in your lives to
meet the various emotional needs that you have.
Most likely you're gonna wanna have your boyfriend be ultimately your best friend and lover.
You want him to be someone you're attracted to physically so you can get your sexual need
met, but also, your best friend who you can talk to and really reveal your true self.
But that doesn't mean that he also has the person that you go out for drinks with, the
person that you wanna do every single hobby with and the person that you just wanna spend
every single moment of your time with.
It's good to have different people in your lives that you can spend time with and get
different needs met from.
And most importantly, don't think that there's something wrong with a relationship early
on, just because he doesn't meet every single need.
The reality is, you're never gonna meet someone that meets every single need.
What's most important is finding that best friend that you're attracted to.

I will illustrate my words with examples the first example that I could give if you are a student
or just young and you have a small job that you want to keep this money to go on vacation
or buy something
you're not motivated to go do the job that you're going to do because often you work at mac do or you work at
carrefour it is not
professions that fascinate you. You have to tell yourself that what you're doing here
yes it may not be what you like but it will take you where you want to go the first thing that I always do
I think I'm waiting why you're trying to do that and tell me right away that
the thing I have to do will take me to where I want to go
and that I have to do it and immediately my motivation
come back a little bit. Second advice is to look at the situation from a wider angle, to take everything in perspective
as I said you may not be studying or a job you like right now
but you know that what
you are doing now is going to help you to
go where you want to go, you just need to be patient
it's a very good one you already say it's a very good experience for you to work on yourself to be more patient
and tell yourself
for example if you keep this money to go on a trip your goal is to go on a trip
so yes now is not really cool
but if you do not do it you can not go on a trip so just tell you it's going to happen
it was something that I said to myself a lot when I had a lot of anxiety attacks and I had trouble managing them

Hello welcome to the outside can you hear me can you hear me Okay so I'm going to walk
away from the waterfall for a second so you can hear me.
Today's mandala challenge we are outside we are just wandering literally wandering.
I've never been here.
I don't know what it holds, but I have to say it's pretty damn beautiful.

For today's challenge, I challenge you pack your mandala stuff.
So I got my backpack full of markers and paper so I challenge you to go outside, take a deep
breath.
Nature high, it's the best.
A lot of trees here.
Take that deep breath and then look around you and pick the first 5 colors that you see
and then use only those colors in a mandala Okay I just found the first 5 colors that
I saw I got purple from those beautiful wildflowers green from the color of liken is actually
my favorite color so that bright green brown from the rock another yellow leaf that I found
and then the last one was that redish leaf this is probably not a color combination that
I would normally choose so I'm kind of excited to challenge myself to only use these colors
so we'll see what happens Alright so here we go just these colors Alright so here is
the finished mandala using only the colors I found which are right here only these colors
it was a little harder than I thought I have to admit I think this could use a little bit
of pink but overall it was a really fun challenge so I hope you get outside, pick the first
5 colors that you see and use only those colors in a mandala please share with me on Instagram

Hello, my lovely viewers.
As you can see, I have finally settled into my room here in Milton- Well, as settled in as I can
get, living with my parents again,and living in this dingy, dirty place.
Well anyway
We're trying to meeting new people, you know, trying to make friends, so I was dragged to- well,
I mean, I went along with my father, to go meet
the most important family pretty much in this whole place
And, uh-
How many of you know of someone's mother who's, like, extremely pushy?
So,
part of the reason my father came to Milton, right, is to start up the arts program.
It's literally what gets him up in the morning, and puts a spring in his step.
So naturally that's what he geared the conversation towards
And now
The child of the mother that we were talking about today has been helping my dad set things
up, get in contact with people who might be interested, the whole shebang.
Which, with how busy this person is, is really very decent of them.
But their mother decided she needed to let us know, with no hesitation or sugar coating,
that she thinks her child is wasting time helping my dad.
She just...straight up said it.
Right in our faces.
When I asked "why"?, she told me:
"My daughter should be focusing her time and attention on the most important thing: her
business.
The immediate problems, the unrest happening,the day to day needs.
That's her job, that's where her attention should be."
Now, I get it, I do.
If you have the type of career she has, of course you need to be a good boss, a good
employer.
You need to pay attention to how your company is working.
But does that mean you shouldn't care about anything else?
Everyone should have pursuits and interests outside of their work.
All the better if it's something to help the community!
I told the mother that personally, I think a mind can become stiff and rigid if it focuses
too much on one thing for too long.
The only answer I got from her was:
"I don't have a clue what you mean."
Things were starting to feel really uncomfortable, my dad was slinking lower and lower into his
chair.
So I knew I had to change the subject, try and turn the mood around.

What does that earn me?

Cause all the mother wants to know is "Oh, who's been talking about my child?
Why have they been gossiping?"
So then she goes on to tell me she assumed for a while that I must be interested in her
daughter.
In the romantic sense.
I have to confess...I laughed right in her face.
Like, no hesitation.
Because while I admire some things about her daughter, I would never, ever ever be interested
in her romantically.
I assured the mother that I definitely wasn't.
Her reaction next blew me away.
She was glad I wasn't, because, in case you haven't figured it out yet, this mother doesn't.really.like.me.
And yet, at the same time, she thought I was being stuck up!
Because who was I, to assume I was too good to date her daughter?
At this point, my father desperately tried to talk about something else, but he picked
a bad topic.
The strike.
Her attitude towards it was so superior, so...ugh.
She told us, with oh so much pride, that of course her daughter would crush it easily.
That the strike was bound to fail, that the workers didn't have a cat's chance in hell-
They will fail.
They're idiots to not see that.

The economy is garbage right now.
Us employers, we can't afford to pay the wages they're demanding.
They can strike for as long as they want, but eventually they'll have to fold.
We can't meet their demands.
Things have changed the last few years, they can't expect it to stay the same.

Hello, my name is Filippa, and I was asked
if I could do a small video about the things I'm working on,
and yes, I would like to do that,
I'm an 11 year old girl, and I live in a little

I have played guitar since I was six years old,
and for the last 2-3 years I have practiced well every day.

Hello this is Carl the landscape guy with an update on the baby Koi.
The Koi repopulated last year in my self-built 3000 square feet natural pond.
The high water level in may last year allowed for spawning in the meadow.
There are videos on my channel with more details about it.
In order for the young fish to survive over the winter and protect them against predators,
I built this fish enclosure.
Which you can also find on my channel.
Before the winter, the young fish were about 4 inches long and I put 250 Koi in the enclosure.
The heron, plus the cormorant, kingfisher and even seagulls frequented the pond to fish,
but the koi were well protected in the enclosure.
It did not seem to bother the fish to suddenly be together in a narrower space.
In spring, as soon as the water was back at 8-10° C, the koi were being fed again and
lo and behold, they had all survived.
Then I realized that several small koi had survived outside the fish enclosure, as well.
They were greedy and grew fast.
I also noticed that they seemed very trusting.
Here they swim together with the female parent.
I wanted to observe the Koi a little closer and put a few in a large aquarium.
And the little ones were not shy at all, despite the new environment.
After three days they were already being fed by hand.
The koi also grew rapidly in the aquarium.
They were now so tame that they would come out of the water to eat.
I sold some of the koi and the buyers reported that the koi stayed tame even in their new
environment.
And I'd like to give a shoutout to all the owners of Koi from my pond, I hope you are
happy with the fish and that they are well.
The Koi in my fish enclosure are also doing very well.
Since they couldn't find as much natural food in the smaller space, I fed them every
day.
For this I used a 12 feet pvc pipes and some water to easily send the 3 mm food through.
I had tons of tadpoles so i fed them to the koi as well.
Every time I cleaned the enclosure, I was amazed by how big the Koi had become.
The colors of the fish are amazing, most are one color, some lighter, some darker like
an orange, but all were yellow.
So far, there were only yellow offspring.
In a handful of fish, I could see ginrin, the shiny scales.
However, there also is an portion of yellow and black ones.
Furthermore, the swamp water seems to agree very well with the Koi, not one has died.
Well, except for those who were being eaten by the stupid birds.
In the fish enclosure there are now about 70 fish left, because I have sold some.
They now measure 20 to 25 cm.
The natural pond Koi project continues, I will report again, when there is something

John Dowd is President Donald Trump's personal attorney, who got presumably unwanted media attention on Saturday after Trump made a Twitter postapparently admitting to obstruction of justice on his part, and source close to the situation claimed that Dowd was actually the author of that tweet.
Here's five things to know:.
John Dowd Got Pete Rose Kicked out of Baseball.
In 1989, baseball legend Pete Rose was banned for life from playing the game (then banned from baseball's Hall of Fame in 1991), after the discovery that Rose was placing bets on his own team.
John Dowd's late-1980s investigation into Rose's betting habits (published as "The Dowd Report") led to Rose's lifetime ban.
In 2007, when SuperLawyers.com ran an admiring profile piece on "John Dowd's hall of fame career," it focused mainly on Dowd's role representing Ted Williams (and specified that Dowd doesn't like talking about Rose at all).
Dowd said he had a great time hanging out with Williams, but investigating Rose wasn't nearly as much fun because "Once we got inside his inner circle, we saw that Pete was a much rougher character than anybody knew.".
In July 2017, Rose filed a defamation of character lawsuit against Dowd over statements Dowd made the year before, claiming that Rose had arranged for underage girls to be delivered to baseball training camps so Rose could commit statutory rape with them.
In October, Rose's lawyers dropped one point of contention from Rose's suit against Dowd; specifically, the contention that Dowd's accusations had cost Rose more than $300,000 in lost endorsement deals.
Dowd Only Joined Trump's Legal Team in June 2017. Trump hired John Dowd to join his legal team in June 2017, as Robert Mueller's special counsel investigations began heating up.
Dowd brought impressive credentials with him— he was a captain in the Marines, where he served as in the Judge Advocate Division, then left the Marines to become a prosecutor with the Department of Justice, serving as a trial attorney in the Tax Division and heading an Organized Crime Strike Force in the Criminal Division.
In his Dowd Report biography, the list of people he has successfully represented includes "a U.S. district judge, a former U.S. senators, and the governor of Arizona.".
Despite these impressive credentials, Bloomberg Businessweek looked at Trump's lawyers in August 2017 and concluded "Trump's Legal Team Is No Match for Mueller's," in part because Dowd, for all his ability, brought only his own ability to Trump's team (as opposed to the far greater resources enjoyed by Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld, the high-powered law firm where Dowd had recently been a partner.
Nicholas Allard, dean of the Brooklyn Law School, told Bloomberg that trying to fend off Mueller without a high-powered legal team would be like "going to a knife fight with a stick of butter in your hand.".
Dowd Represented John McCain in the Keating Five Scandal.
The collapse of the savings and loan industry was one of the major American financial scandals of the 1980s, which spawned multiple sub-scandals including the story of the so-called "Keating Five": five sitting U.S.
Senators were accused to trying to persuade federal regulators to back away from investigating Charles Keating, whose Lincoln Savings and Loan collapse cost U.S. taxpayers $3.4 billion (in late-1980s dollars).
Before Lincoln's collapse, Charles Keating was a major benefactor for various political campaigns, including the five senators accused to trying to protect him.
Of the Keating Five senators, the only one still in the Senate today is John McCain –who, when the Keating Five investigations first started, hired John Dowd as his attorney. (McCain was eventually cleared of wrongdoing.).
The other four members of the Keating Five–Senators Alan Cranston of California, Dennis DeConcini of Arizona, John Glenn of Ohio and Donald Riegle of Michigan–retired in the 1990s. Charles Keating died in 2014 at the age of 90.

After the now-notorious "Unite the Right" rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, last summer, President Trump faced bizarre criticism for his obvious reluctance to unequivocally condemn even the literal swastika-waving Nazis who ostensibly were protesting the removal of a statue of Robert E. Lee.
Dowd, who was the president's personal lawyer by then, generated controversy of his own when he apparently attempted to defend his boss by forwarding an email to government officials and conservative media journalists saying "You cannot be against General Lee and be for General Washington, there literally is no difference between the two men.
" The email also said that Black Lives Matter is led by terrorists.
Dowd did not write the email; its author was Jerome Almon, a conspiracy theorist who, according to the New York Times, runs several websites alleging sundry government conspiracies, including the belief that the FBI has been infiltrated by Islamic terrorists.
He also tried (unsuccessfully) to sue the State Department for $900 million over discrimination claims. Almon told the New York Times that when he sent Dowd the email, he hoped it would ultimately come to the attention of President Trump.
Dowd Supposedly Authored Trump's Tweet to Make Trump Look Better.
On Saturday, the day after Michael Flynn pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI, Donald Trump took to Twitter with a remark widely considered by legal observers to be an admission of obstruction of justice: "I had to fire General Flynn because he lied to the Vice President and the FBI.
He has pled guilty to those lies. It is a shame because his actions during the transition were lawful. There was nothing to hide!".
But according to anonymous sources speaking to various media outlets, Dowd was actually the one who wrote that tweet, thinking to help his client.
CBS News explained it this way: "Dowd meant to convey that Flynn was fired for lying to Pence and other White House officials about his conversations with Kislyak, and 'now we know' that he lied to the FBI, according to these sources.
But Dowd bungled the tweet and created confusion around Mr Trump's knowledge of events.". Not everybody bought this story, however. As one attorney noted on Twitter: "We're supposed to believe John Dowd wrote pled instead of pleaded?".
