Parker 94R Razor Shave & Review - Duration: 8:58.
What's up Gents? I'm Geofatboy for ShaveNation.com I've had a few requests
to do a review of this razor which is the Parker 94R it's a short handle razor
and this razor weighs in at 3.3 ounces or 93 grams and the overall length from
top to bottom is 3.25 inches or 83 millimeters. As I said, short handle, it
has really fantastic knurling on this handle - easy to grip and plus this
slot here where it's cut, it's very sharp and defined, so if you can hold it with
one finger or even two fingers there even with soapy fingers or shaving cream
laden fingers you're not going to drop this razor. It's really easy to grip and
it's pretty hefty for the size of it. As I said 3.3 ounces for this size
razor - it's a sturdy little razor. Here it is next to the Merkur 38C just so you
can do a little comparison and then here it is next to a Feather All Stainless
right there, so you can see the height difference on it. It's a closed comb
razor and it's a three piece razor so you just unscrew the handle, separate the
three parts top cap and safety bar. I'll be using a Feather blade today - one of my
all-time faves! Just drop that right over the pin and the two posts like so and
reinsert the top cap to the safety bar screw the handle back on just reassemble.
And we're ready to rock and roll with the shave. Let's check the reveal - looks good
to me. Very even, it's even on both sides. you can see that.
You don't want it protruding more on one side than the other otherwise you'll
get a more aggressive shave on one side of the razor and less aggressive on the
other side. Let me lather up, I'll warm my face,
lather up and we'll put this razor through its paces. I've got some pretty
decent stubble, a couple days worth of beard growth here so we can see how it
performs. I just hopped out of the shower a few minutes ago so my beard is pretty
warm. I'm going to lather up. This brush is a Simpsons Chubby One Super
A little figure 8 method to smooth everything out... The utmost Zen part of my
shave right here. Love it! I'll Clear The Runways so I can see the
sideburns. All right! Let's see how this baby does. Okay I'll start on the right
side here just perpendicular, and then tilt slightly upward to find that angle.
Work the way down... That's some good audible feedback from it. Yeah, very nice!
It seems to be good. Excellent! No problem removing my beard. Let's do
the left side. This side is filled, we'll go to the other side.
The beauty of a safety razor...
Hopefully you're getting that feedback. You can see
that - Wow! With just one pass. Pretty aggressive little shaving razor. I'm
impressed with it! Rinse that off... Down the chin line now...

Now the mustache area
A little cleanup. After the first pass I'm quite impressed, this is a nice pretty
aggressive little shaving razor. I'm very smooth right now. I'm going to
lather up though, perform one more pass just to get super smooth.
I'm using the Taylor of Old Bond Street Sandalwood shaving cream today which is
as I've said before one of my all-time favorites. I just love the scent of it. Good
cushioning ability. Clear the Runways! All right, first pass was with the grain
north to south. Now I'll go against the grain here on my
neck. This gets me nice and clean on my neck area.
And I'll go across the grain on the right side here. Fantastic! Wow really nice!
Now across the mustache area, again my fingers are wet, but with this handle, very
easy to grip. A final rinse off. I use hot water and then cold water to close off
the pores. And just Pat the face dry. As you can see two passes is all it took to
get my face baby smooth. Love it! Very nice I'm just going to apply some of
this George F Trumper Sandalwood Skin Food... Follows up nicely with the
Sandalwood shaving cream. Final thoughts on this razor. I normally don't like
short handled razors, I prefer long handles, but this razor I have to give it
some Props! It's really nice! The knurling that I mentioned, and then
this little slot right here this groove makes it very easy to hold on to and
it's got a heft weighted towards the head. So you don't use any pressure at
all. Just the weight of the razor does a really nice job. Let me separate this.
Let's remove this blade - you can see my blade is kind of gunked up.
It's got shaving cream and hair residue on there, so that's why it's good to
remove the blade if you can from your razor and clean your razor after using
it. As far as the safety bar, the closed comb bar on one side it has a P on it, I'm
not sure, that might stand for Parker. And then on the other side it does say
right up top here, it says India. Which is where these razors are made, Parker
razors are made in india. So I'll just put it back together for your final adios to it.
Final look: As far as aggressiveness on this razor, the 94R
I'm gonna give it a 6. So from 1 to 10. 5 being right in the middle, and say a
Merkur 34c would be 3 - 4, this a six. And a Mühle R41 would be all the way
at the top or the icon tech would be all the way at the top, close to 10. This is
a 6. As you saw, I had a two or three-day
beard growth and it removed it in short order. Excellent little razor! If you want

This place, I think it's one of the most beautiful places we ever came
and it's called the Northern Light Village
and it's not cheap
Finland is not cheap
but it's simply amazing.
It's worth every single penny that we paid for.
We had some issue that our reservation
some programs got messed up
but people here are very helpful and
they they managed to fix everything.
re-scheduling our entire program so
that we could do everything that was planned and they did a really good job
so I really enjoyed to be here. I would love to stay another 2 nights at least
it is so nice and look at the snow falling right now!
I mean this is a paradise scenario!
it is it's just amazing
and just in case you're wondering
yes they have tours for kids so you can bring your kids here
It is simply amazing
So I recommend this place and I would say you have to come

Battle of the Ports - Puyo Puyo (ぷよぷよ) Show #215 - 60fps - Duration: 17:51.
Puyo Puyo, previously marketed under the name Puyo Pop in Europe and North America, is a
series of puzzle matching games created by Compile.
Sega has owned the franchise since 1998, with most releases after 2001 being developed by
Sonic Team.
Puyo Puyo was created as a spin off franchise to Madou Monogatari, a series of first-person
dungeon crawler RPGs by Compile.
The characters from Puyo Puyo originated from Madou Monogatari.
The first Puyo Puyo game was developed by Compile and released in 1991 for the MSX2
and Family Computer Disk System.
The Puyo blobs used within the game were Madou Monogatari's equivalent of the Slime monsters
from the Dragon Quest game series.
Compile and Sega collaborated to create an arcade version of Puyo Puyo that released
in October 1992.
So first up let's take a look at the Mega Drive port which is pretty much the same as
the arcade.
This is no surprise as the arcade hardware is Sega's System C2 hardware which is based
upon the Mega Drive with a few differences to make them incompatible.
So while this Mega Drive version looks like its arcade big brother I'd say this does sound
better.
The arcade original was rather tinny while this Mega Drive port is much fuller in sound.
Sadly some of the voices are missing in the Mega Drive port probably due to ROM storage
size.
Still, despite this the Mega Drive port of the game was a best seller in Japan.
Published by Banpresto, this Super Famicom port is my favorite for audio out of all the
none CD based released.
The music sounds so good with a nice stereo separation.
Unfortunately this is not the best port to play.
It tends to suffer from slowdown at times which can throw you off your game if you aren't
accustom to it.
Still, this is the version I grew up playing to be honest so I still have a soft spot in
my heart for it.
Puyo Puyo for the Famicom Disc System was actually published by Tokuma Shoten as a pack-in
for their Famimaga magazine.
The game is a barebones version of Puyo Puyo but does support a two player mode and a nice
extra where Karbunkle (the yellow creature thing) can appear to join loose Puyo together.
In 1993 the original 1991 Famicom Disc System version of Puyo Puyo was released on cartridge
for the Famicom in Japan.
It's identical to the original disc released apart from having no loading times and a newly
designed title screen.
A fairly reasonably port of Puyo Puyo but missing the level of animation found in the
Mega Drive and Super Famicom versions seen earlier.
Some may also be put off by the limited colour pallet used within the game.
But, it's not bad for a NEC PC 9801.
The X68000 port is practically arcade perfect.
It even has the arcade's opening demo.
The only noticeable difference is a slight change in some instruments used for the music.
Sadly the X68000 port does suffer from sprite flicker or so it would seem.
The footage you're seeing here is emulated although I did test it on two different emulators
with both showing sprite flicker.
I'll be interested to know if the real X68000 hardware suffers from sprite flicker.
The FM Towns is a fairly powerful system so it pains me to see CRI's half arsed port of
Puyo Puyo to the system.
Everything about this port is rough.
From the awful animation of the Puyo landing on Ariel at the beginning to the lack of "How
to play" screen, to the poor animation and jerky scrolling.
Even the arranged soundtrack is awful.
Not a good port by any standards.
Featuring a mixture of CD audio and chip music this PC Engine CD port is fairly nice in the
audio department.
It also looks good however those of you with sharp eyes may have noticed that the Puyo
have no shadows unlike on the arcade and many other ports.
Seems strange that NEC Avenue would omit such a simple effect.
Now this is a nice surprise.
The Game Gear port features some really nice stereo sound and a great use of colour.
Best of all it plays a great game of Puyo Puyo.
Sure, the main Puyo are kind of basic looking but you can tell what they are meant to be.
This is a very nice way to play Puyo Puyo on the move.
Based upon the Game Gear port, this Game Boy port is also fairly respectable however it
does have one major difference.
As you know the Game Boy is monochrome and Puyo Puyo's gameplay relies on pairing different
coloured Puyo blobs.
Not in the Game Boy port.
Now each Puyo has a slightly different look to them as well as there being two different
colour shades.
Playing this port for the first time is a real struggle but the more you play the easier
it becomes.
Unlike most of the Ports of Puyo Puyo, the MSX 2 version is based upon the original Famicom
game rather than the Sega Arcade version.
This means is lacking the story mode,characters and many of the music tracks.
Still, for what it is we can enjoy a game of Puyo Puyo.
Now this is a surprise, Puyo Puyo actually got a release on the Nokia N-Gauge.
Who would have thought?
While it's missing the music and intros of the original it is based up on it.
Playability wise, well, it is a little awkward due to the N-Gauge button layout but it's
better than you'd expect.
Other unexpected features are the inclusion of a 2 player mode via Bluetooth and a pure
puzzle mode.
The Windows 3.1 release is pretty much the same as the NEC PC 9801 but with slightly
better audio.
Again, this Macintosh version is based upon the same port that appears on the NEC PC 9801
and Windows 3.1.
Sadly this port features really scratchy audio.
What is interesting is that this port was published by Quest.
There are many different versions of Puyo Puyo for mobile phones in Japan however they
are really tough to find these days but I was able to find a version developed for phones
outside of Japan.
This 2005 release by Sega is pretty basic but at least it's somewhat playable.
The problem I found was the control system is too sensitive making fine adjustments almost
impossible.

and time and time again but the funny thing is we're teenagers and teenagers never really
learn we try and try and try again to you we might just be some dumb kids but really
we are the face of change the face of new safer America we are the NRA's worst nightmare.

girl of Andrew Gowanlock and Elizabeth Kidd, ranchers; m.
25 Aug. 1865 Edward Trout in Stratford, Upper Canada, and they had by appropriation one
child and one little girl; d.
10 Nov. 1921 in Hollywood (Los Angeles).
Jenny Kidd Gowanlock was one of the ladies who initially tested men's elite hang on the
therapeutic calling in Canada.
To a few Victorians, the field of medication showed up especially suitable for the female
identity as they characterized it, thus around there ladies made early picks up in spite
