Youtube daily report Apr 24 2018

Thanks to Curiosity Stream for supporting PBS Digital Studios.

This creature is an extinct relative of horses and rhinos, known as a chalicothere.

And, this creature?

It's also a chalicothere.

Even though they look pretty different, both of these animals lived at the same time, and

in the same places, and they did the same things.

They're both closely related to each other, and to horses and rhinos.

And they both developed highly specialized adaptations that helped them exploit their

main source of food: the leaves at the tops of trees.

The first animal is known as Chalicotherium , and it wound up having enormous arms and

walking around on its knuckles, kind of like a gorilla.

The other is called Tylocephalonyx, and it turned out to look a little more horse-like,

but with a longer neck, and this weird, bony dome on its skull.

So, what happened?

How did two of the same kind of animal, living in the same place, end up looking so different?

The answer is parallel evolution.

You can't really talk about the history of life without talking about natural selection

-- the process by which living things can become more likely to survive, and to have

offspring that will also survive, if they become better adapted to their environments.

And chalicotheres are an especially great example of how this process actually works.

Because, in evolutionary terms, "better" can mean a lot of different things.

Success can take many forms, even for organisms that live in the same environment and face

the same challenges.

Before they diverged into different types, chalicotheres first showed up in Asia around

55 million years ago, during the Eocene Epoch of the Paleogene Period.

They soon made it to North America, Europe, and eventually to Africa.

During the Eocene, rainforests were widespread, and they became home to a new group of herbivores:

hooved animals called perissodactyls, which today include horses, rhinos, and tapirs.

"Perissodactyl" means "odd-toed," and like other members of this group, early

chalicotheres had hooves -- although their hooves were split in two, which was kind of

strange.

But as the Eocene ended, chalicotheres' hooves had been replaced with something new:

claws.

Now, claws on plant-eaters are pretty rare – so rare, in fact, that the paleontologists

who first found the feet of chalicotheres thought they must have come from anteaters,

or maybe giant pangolins.

But we know now that chalicotheres were herbivores, because their teeth bear the distinct scratches

and pits that come from eating leaves, bark and twigs.

So instead of using their claws for digging, these animals probably used them to get at

the tastier leaves that were higher up in the trees, a type of eating preference called

high browsing.

The claws may also have helped chalicotheres stand on their hind legs and brace themselves

against tree trunks, making it easier to browse.

And they even had specialized neck vertebrae that let them look up more easily than like

a horse or a rhino.

So, by about 40 million years ago, chalicotheres had arrived at a single, pretty successful

body plan, optimized for high browsing.

But then, things started to get weird.

Soon after the ancestral chalicotheres developed claws, they began to follow different evolutionary

paths.

They started to evolve in parallel.

One group of early chalicotheres got very good at pulling leaves down to eat.

So, over time, those animals with longer limbs were more successful, until -- about 30 million

years ago -- they all had big hulking arms, long claws on their front legs, and necks

much shorter than their ancestors'.

And because of this new body plan, these animals started walking with their front toes curled

inward to protect their claws.

They began walking on their knuckles!

These animals became known as their own subfamily of chalicotheres, called Chalicotheriinae.

But meanwhile, a separate group of ancestral chalicotheres started to develop its own adaptations

for high browsing.

Its early members were much better at nibbling leaves right off the trees, without having

to pull them down.

Over time, those that were taller and had longer necks were better at getting food,

until eventually, they looked more and more like long-necked horses.

Or maybe, short-necked giraffes.

And they still had claws, too.

But all their legs were about the same size, and these animals were bigger and heavier

than their long-armed cousins.

So, knuckle walking wasn't an option for them.

Instead, they acquired the ability to retract their claws.

They had specialized tendons that helped them pull their claws up while they walked, and the

tendons were further strengthened by a fusion of several bones in their toes.

And, in many members of this group, domes also appeared on their heads.

No one's exactly sure what purpose they served, but the prevailing theories are that

the animals used them for head-butting and as a display to potential mates. As you do.

And this group of long-necked, dome-headed chalicotheres came to be known by the ungainly

name of Shizerotheriinae.

But, just like the other subfamily, they were still chalicotheres!

So if these two groups of animals lived in the same area, why did they split at all?

Why didn't they keep evolving as one group, ending up either as long-armed knuckle-walkers

or long-necked horse-like dome head things?

Well, that's what makes parallel evolution so interesting.

It often occurs among closely-related animals, even ones that share the same range.

And in this case, it happened because both body plans were equally likely to help an

animal survive.

So, early on, among the original, ancestral chalicotheres, some variations appeared, which

happens all the time in groups of organisms.

Some chalicotheres had longer necks, and others had longer forearms.

But both differences helped ancestral chalicotheres survive, reproduce, and ensure that their

long-necked or long-armed traits were passed on to the next generation.

Slowly, over time, chalicotheres drifted apart, until their differences were so extreme that

they were different species - and then, different subfamilies.

But they both remained really good at doing one thing: eating the tops of trees.

Of course, as you know from the lack of them, their success didn't last forever.

Despite their specializations, chalicotheres aren't with us today.

The last of both families died out in North America 10 million years ago, and they lingered

in Asia and Africa until about one million years ago.

One possible clue to their demise is the rise of the artiodactyls -- herbivores with four-chambered

digestive systems, like deer, cattle, and hippos.

This digestive set-up is much more efficient than the single-chamber system that chalicotheres

had.

So chalicotheres would have had to eat a lot more to get the same nutrition that a giraffe,

for example, could get with less food.

And changes in climate wouldn't have helped: As Africa and large parts of Asia became drier,

grasslands started to spread, reducing the habitat of the tree-loving chalicotheres.

Today, horses are rhinos remain their closest living relatives.

So, you can take the story of the chalicotheres as proof of how versatile natural selection

can be -- how it can lead to many different evolutionary solutions to a problem, all of

which are equally successful.

But you can also read this story as a lesson in its limitations.

I mean, if anything, chalicotheres turned out to be too specialized.

Each group became too good at high browsing -- to the point that, when the climate changed

and competition pressure was on them, they couldn't survive.

There are some situations that evolution just can't get you out of.

New Busbars for 4s 40p Battery Pack - Duration: 10:15.

hey guys this Frank sorry I haven't been here in a while to post and I appreciate

those of you who are still watching and commenting and subscribing it's just

been really crazy I've been working on my daughter's house trying to get the

remodel done I've just about got all the trim work finished so I can return back

to just working on batteries almost full-time well besides my job and other

responsibilities of being a father of five so I will continue to try to post

on a weekly basis but it's been kind of a long haul lately so with that let's

jump into the continuation of the busbars that I had created in the last

video and how I apply them to the cells to create a battery pack currently it's

running at about 15 point 5 volts so let's go ahead and take a look at that

now

hey guys this Frank and this is the DIY engineer Channel and I am grateful that

you are here if you're into things like solar and batteries and automobiles and

construction then this is the channel for you please subscribe below leave

comments I try to get back on a regular basis to answer any questions you might

have hopefully what I'm producing here is

helpful to you and that it will help you in your projects

alright guys so what I want to show you here is if you remember I was trying to

put together these bus bars and make these happen

I love the loops someone would love to comment about why am I using these

crimps when I could just use a dab of solder and put these together and so

that's exactly what I did so I appreciate the comments thank you so

much that was very helpful you can see here I have my positives this is one

cell bank here and another and two and three four so there's four there's four

cell banks and what we're doing is we're just putting these in in series so we

have a 4s that will run all of these cells and I still need to pull the

numbers on how many amp hours I have in this but I will try to get that and post

it at the end of the video so you can see how many amp hours are in this

actual battery pack so what we're looking at here is I just soldered each

of these together with the fuses and there's a single bus bar that ran down

the side so this is what the straight bus bars were for was to add to the

sides so these went down the sides of each of these loops so that it would all

tie together and that seemed to work out really well so that's this side now

let's review the other side of the battery okay and over here it's kind of

just the opposite where I ran double bus bars over here and then in the center

around the loops because I needed to tie this cell set to this cell set which

then turns out makes this my negative pole this is negative and this is

positive and they're on opposite ends of the battery and the reason for that

is so that the juice will flow through the cell that flows across all the cells

if I had both of my poles on one end what would happen is is I would draw

more from these top cells and less from the bottom cells they would still draw

from them but it wouldn't be as efficient and so by putting them in

opposite corners it actually causes the flow to go across the cells

incorporating more of the cells instead of just a few at a time all right and

what I did is I added in my BMS leads so those are in place one of the things I

learned I haven't done it and I'm not gonna is I can't set this down on its

face like on a piece of metal because it will short there he'll get hot I'll

probably weld it because there's a lot of amps there but right now I'm gonna go

ahead after this video and I'm gonna put on some cap on tape so I have my cap on

tape here and I'll tape these so that they don't they're not exposed and it'll

protect those those leads and then I still have to figure out how I'm going

to connect these together so I'm still working on that engineering piece on how

I'm going to run my my end poles together but that shouldn't be too

difficult so what you're looking at here is this is just a battery monitor and

it's clicking through each of the cell sets so all the cells together I'm

looking at 15.7 the first cell set is 3.9 3.9 3.9 and fourth cell sided 3.86

so they're pretty close to each other not exactly perfect but they are pretty

dang close and I'm happy about that I do have might be a mess for this the

BMS is one I ordered in I actually ordered in some smaller ones you

remember and I didn't I wasn't this is this one here is one of the smaller BMS

is that I ordered in and it just does not handle this has got a 30 amp max so

it's it doesn't handle a lot of amperage and so I use this I'll use this on

smaller packs on smaller cell sets but on these bigger ones like I need to go

to a larger one so I ordered in this BMS here is pretty much a no-name I

did get it on Amazon and it is a hundred amp so it'll allow me to draw 100 amps

from this cell set through this BMS and it also has the balance function so when

I apply this it will actually has the ability to go in and actually balance

out the cells now I can't see a lot going on because there's no lights

there's no nothing and I haven't fully hooked it up yet I still need to hook up

my battery pulse to this and I'll do that probably in the next video to show

you how I did it but this will just mount to the top of this which will

control the voltage and the amperage throughout the cells so that I don't

over charge them or under charge them just allows a little more control and it

also will give me a balancing function so I don't have to worry about going

back and doing like bottom balancing or working through are they balanced and I

can come back with tools like this or it's right here it's on my desk or like

this where I can go through and actually look at the cells in a little more

detail so this one here gives me the ability to where's my negative pole

negative over here and I can go through and look at the cells and see how

charged they are so my type is yeah lithium-ion so I'm showing it 86% on

cell set 1 and then I can walk through each of the different cell set cell set

to is 85% still set 3 is at 85 cell set 4 is at 84 anyway so this has balanced

features and stuff built into it so I could actually use it for a balancer or

I can time into my IMAX 6 Mini and anyways there's a lot of different ways

that I can balance this out but ultimately I'm gonna use a BMS so that I

don't have to worry about it so I can move about without having any issues let

me actually walk through really quick here the I'm going to probably do this

in the next video as well but the BMS system on how this works a lot of these

BMS is will have a diagram showing you how to wire them and on this one it's

really simple because just take the negative which is on this

end over here its user you're black it's usually the black wire on the BMS wiring

and that's my black on this end so I know that that's my negative pole and

that just goes to my first negative and so that's my primary negative so it's

down here so this is connection number one which is my black then connection to

goes between the first battery set which is this battery set and this battery set

on the negative side so I need to go to the other side over here and this is

number two and so you're seeing it's going on the negative side between these

two cells so I'm on this one here and if you look it's the blue wire is number

two and then yellow is number three and that will actually tie to the third

battery set so this is one two three third battery set on the negative pole

so I'm on my negative pole number three and then number four is going to go to

the fourth battery set which is over here one two three four battery set on

the negative pole that's my white wire sure enough on here my white wire and

then the red goes to my concluding positive just like it indicates here so

the last wire goes to positive and then I'll come back and I'll wire a positive

lead from this down here and to actually go to the charger doesn't even go into

the BMS and then the negative this pole down on this end will come back and it

will tie into this battery negative and then the C negative right here is going

to go part of my charging you a little my charging unit so the energy will flow

through here and this here will handle all of the balancing and the battery

activity for charging so I don't over charge or under charge and I don't

overdraw it'll have auto shutoff to protect the cells so it's just another

line of defense against damaging the cells ultimately so hopefully this is

helpful and I appreciate you watching and we'll catch you on the next video

Overseeding Pasture - The Project List - Duration: 9:46.

Hi I'm Mike, and this is Little Orphan Andy getting his breakfast.

Today we tackle the project list once again, as we perform some pasture maintenance and

reseed our feed lots on our Wyoming life.

Welcome to our Wyoming life, each week we invite you to come along with us as we explore

the ranch life and escape the ordinary, please subscribe and join us as we ranch, market

garden and get into a little bit of everything in between.

Behind me as always, is the project list.

A list of things that need done around the ranch.

Each week we get to tackle something off the board and I get to take you along with me.

I've been asked how we decide what and when to do each individual project and the answer

is both hard and easy at the same time.

Some projects we can just get after, but others are time dependent, or even weather dependent

and need to be done in a time frame that is dictated by mother nature.

For example, cleaning the barn or the shop can be done anytime, rain or shine.

We are mostly inside and projects like those are easy to work on when you are limited on

what else you can do.

Which is usually why projects like cleaning the shop sometimes get pushed back on the

list.

There are also those projects that can become emergencies, like setting a new stock tank

because a well when down and you have to haul water to the cows.

Then there are the projects that have a small window to get done, like todays project.

We have today to get it done.

Rain and snow is on the way and we are going to use it to our advantage as we get started

reseeding some pasture.

This pasture we call the triangle pasture, and right beside is a smaller pasture we call

the lot.

The triangle pasture is about 19 acres and the lot is another 3 giving us 22 acres to

reseed today.

The total width of our work area today is a third of a mile and a quarter of a mile

long.

Almost a million square feet.

Just to put that in perspective, a football field is a about 1.3 acres.

So we have about 17 football fields to work on today.

We have a bit of a time crunch going on well because weather is moving in and the whole

point of getting this done today is to get the seed out so that the moisture from this

storm will help with the germination of the seed.

As with any project we have some prep work to do first.

After feeding Orphan Andy we can head out and get the cows fed.

We are going to feed them away from the pastures we are going to reseed today because from

here on out they will not be allowed into the area we are working on.

Once we have our seed out it needs to be left alone and cows will not be back into this

area until fall.

Don't worry about them though, they have a lot more room to roam.

I don't know about you but sometimes it seems like someone is working against you

when it comes time to get something done.

For me, that force working against me is usually myself.

We are going to be reseeding the pasture using a small broadcast seeder that attaches on

to the back of the four wheeler, this four wheeler, which is buried in the barn.

We haven't used it all winter long and over the winter we have blocked it in.

Erins new high tunnel parts are all in the way, Gilberts old gator is in here along with

another four wheeler and lets not forget the tractor.

Before we can get started we need to move some things around, seems like the old barn

shuffle is a game we play quite often, moving one thing, or 4 things to get to something

you need.

We have limited space to store equipment in the winter and things tend to get crammed

in to tight spots, putting stuff in every little nook and cranny and come spring there

is always something in the way.

First we move the tractor, and with it out of the way we can get out one four wheeler,

then Gilberts little gator can be pulled out and parked out of the way as well.

Now we have access to the fourwheeler we need, and after some more of the old barn shuffle,

I can work it out of its parking spot

and out of the barn and around to the shop where we will start attaching and filling

our seeder.

First though we need our seed, this is a pasture mix, at mixture of a number of wheatgrasses

that do well in our area with a bit of alfalfa thrown in.

The seed we get is all tested for germination rates and this stuff rates at an average of

about 93%.

That's in perfect conditions of course but we always hope for the best.

While we are in the barn we are also going to grab our seeder which will be attached

to the four wheeler to spread seed out over the field and take it over to the shop to

attach it to the back of the atv.

This type of seeding is about as easy and as cheap as it gets.

I've mentioned it before, but when working with yourself, sometimes you have to invent

a second set of hands and this broom will work well to hold the seeder in place while

I go ahead and attach the U-bolts that hold it in place.

Once its all attached we can test the spreader and talk about how it works.

Seed will be added to the bin, then we have this controller on the four wheeler which

controls the spreader, the higher the speed the more it spins and the farther it flings

the seed.

Also on the seeder is the flow control which will control how fast the seed flows from

the bit into the spinning wheel.

There is a handy chart on the seeder which is suppose to help figure out your settings

but I have found that a lot of time they don't take pasture grasses into consideration on

these small machines.

They are made more for lawn grass seed so we are going to have to experiment to get

our flow rate correct.

We are aiming to put down between 5 to 10 lbs of seed per acre, first we need to know

how many pounds of seed the seeder will hold.

So we get a scale and weigh it out.

Turns out it holds 25 lbs so we can figure on starting on the small lot, which is 3 acres

and we should use this 25 lbs in that area.

Once in the field, we can fire it up and get going.

Adjusting our speed of travel and the rate of flow as we go to hopefully get into that

sweet spot where spreading the seed is going to do the most good.

Over seeding or broadcast seeding is the cheapest and easiest way for us to reseed a pasture.

We don't own a drill or a seeder that will put the grass into the ground and really all

we need for germination of this seed is some soil contact, which isn't going to be a

problem out here.

We previously harrowed this ground to knock down a number of the cow pies and loosen the

soil to prepare it for over seeding.

Now all we have to do is spread the seed as evenly as possible and hope for some moisture

to get these little plants started.

As the seeder spins, it throws seed out about 20 feet on either side of the four wheeler,

with this little seeder it can be a slow process, every 3 acres or so we are going to have to

go back to the shop and refill our seeder doing it in the shop to keep the bit of wind

from blowing the seed around.

The areas we are reseeding today are utilized by the cows during the winter, we feed here

and the soil gets pretty hammered by hooves and tractors, by reseeding now we are ensuring

a better pasture for this fall, improved nutrition for the cows when they return from summer

pasture and better soil heath.

The cows wont thank us, but I feel a whole lot better by getting it done.

Like I said earlier weather is moving in, we have rain starting just as we are finishing

up and soon it will change to snow, we are expecting up to 3 inches of snow tonight which

will give this seed a great kickstart, using the weather and timing to our advantage.

Around here the weather can change just like that.

And the weather can change just like that.

Thanks for coming out today for a project that although super simple can pay off huge

in the end, improving soil health, and setting us up for a beautiful pasture later this spring

and summer.

Its live stream week and we invite you to join us on Thursday for another ranch talk

with erin and me.

We have a couple really cool announcements to share with you and of course we will take

you questions and give you answers.

That's Thursday at 7pm mountain time and we hope to see you there, they are always

a lot of fun.

Please subscribe and click the bell so you can get notifications and don't miss a thing

from the ranch, calving continues and this weekend we will have a big update coming up.

Until I see you again, have a great week and thanks for joining us in our Wyoming life.

The REAL Reason The Thunder Are LOSING To The Jazz In The NBA Playoffs - Duration: 4:19.

The Thunder lost to the Jazz in Game 4, but it is undeniable that the Thunder have more

talent with Westbrook smacking around Rubio and Paul George.

The Jazz definitely played more as a team and Donovan Mitchell took over, but the real

problem of the Thunder is being overlooked.

What is up dudes, dudettes, ballers, players.

It's ya boi MJ.

Watching the Thunder and Jazz game showed me that the Jazz are using a new strategy

that is the Thunder's weakness.

Yes, the Jazz played team basketball and had 21 assists.

Yes Donovan Mitchell went off for 33 points, but that wasn't how the Jazz won the game.

Let me know in the comments if you think the Thunder will bounce back and win game 5 or

will the Jazz closeout the series?

The real problem with the Thunder was their ego and their emotions.

Now playing with emotion is good at times.

Russ having a chip on his shoulder can be deadly for the other team and Russ went at

Rubio, but this time, it backfired.

The Thunder self-destructed.

I saw Westbrook try to kill Rubio and get into foul trouble.

I mean he was trying to end his life quite literally.

I saw Paul George get into it with Joe Ingles and shoot angry deep shots.

You tell me, are these good shots?

Westbrook turned it over more times than he had assists.

He turned it over more times than Kevin Durant has instagram liked Westbrook insults.

Jazz players mentally got under the Thunder's players' skin.

Rubio brushed off Westbrook's aggressiveness and would smile through it all.

Joe Ingles kept staring down PG and trash talked to him.

The superstars on the Thunder played like rookies and the rookie Donovan Mitchell played

like a veteran.

Carmelo looked like a whining little kid and has just been straight up trash, but these

cases are anything but trash with dope designs so check out athletic cases in the description.

They got Thunder stars and Donovan Mitchell will be coming soon.

The narrative for the Jazz has been "We" while the narrative for the Thunder has been

"I".

The Thunder are just taking things too personal and then are not playing their normal game.

I was completely wrong about the Thunder being built for the playoffs.

The Playoffs require a strong mindset but the Thunder just seem to be letting every

small thing affect them.

They tried to be more aggressive and attack the paint which can work, but they fail to

adjust throughout the game because they are too caught up in the moment.

Just think about this, Westbrook on the court is a minus 13.3 and off the court is +12.8

meaning the Thunder are way better with him off the court.

Rubio is a +16.3 on the court and a -15.2 off the court.

So much for shutting him down.

Just wow.

There's an easy fix and that is, forget about all the noise.

Just play basketball.

I love when Westbrook goes attack mode and plays with feelings.

It's worked against Durant to some extent but this is not helping.

Is locking down Rubio really the priority?

Focus on guys like Donovan Mitchell.

Don't let Ingles get open for 3.

Rotate to prevent easy dunks.

The superstars of the Thunder need to come together and say enough is enough.

Let's just play basketball.

Part of this has to be on Billy Donovan who has done anything but coach.

The coach has to get his players in line but this ain't cutting it.

The Jazz game planned for this, they saw how the Thunder reacted and took advantage of

it so give them credit.

Rudy Gobert affected so many shots.

The Thunder shot less than 33% from the paint not including the restricted area.

So basically, the Thunder hurt themselves.

But what do you think?

Will the Thunder adjust?

Will Westbrook regain control?

Let me know in the comments down below.

Drop a like if you like this video and if you like Donovan Mitchell stepping up.

The instagram shout of the day goes to Tony Loomis and the ALLDAY notification squad shout

out goes to Igor Felix Felix.

The Best Jig Fishing Tips (Because They Work!) | Bass Fishing - Duration: 7:33.

Keri: Hey folks, Keri May here with BassResource.com.

We're talking to Skeet Reese.

I actually got this angler's name right, finally.

It's been taking me a while, trust me.

And we're gonna ask him his best three tips for jig fishing.

Skeet Reese: Best three tips for jig fishing.

One, I've just learned and I've gotten this year is a Berkley Maxscent Meaty Chunk Jig

Trailer, fish don't let go of it, so that helps you land a lot more fish.

Fishing slow is probably one of the most important tips.

And fishing a fluorocarbon, which I use a Trilene Fluorocarbon to be able to keep your

jig in the bottom and get better sensitivity and better hook sets.

Keri: Brandon is gonna tell us his top three tips for jig fishing.

Brandon Palaniuk: Okay, for jig fishing, my first one is gonna be applying the right jig

to the style of fishing you're doing.

And what I mean by that is if you're fishing offshore, you don't wanna be throwing a big

giant flipping jig, you wanna be throwing a football style or some type of finesse jig

that matches those conditions.

And then, vice versa, when you go shallow, if you're fishing around shallow cover, you

wanna make sure that you've got a jig that's got a little bit more of a stout weedguard,

a little bit bigger hook that you can get those fish out of the heavy cover and then

you're gonna match the rest of your tackle to that, so that would be my first tip.

Number two would have to be about colors, but I'm not gonna go into that much because

I believe we're gonna talk about that a little bit later.

Keri: We're gonna talk about color.

Bren: So I'm not gonna go into all of the colors.

And then, I think, my next tip would probably be the weight size and adjusting your weight

for different conditions.

And just general rule of thumb, early in the spring, I like to go with lighter weights.

The fish are moving a little bit slower, gives you a slower fall, and then, as the water

warms up, I'll go with a little bit heavier jig, three-quarter, one ounce, a little bit

faster fall, more of a reaction strike.

Ott DeFoe: Top three tips for jig fishing.

Number one is keep it simple.

Keri: I like that one.

Ott DeFoe: I use no more than three sizes.

I use a three-eights, a half and a three-quarter.

That's pretty much what I use.

And I will use a three-quarter more than a lot of guys do.

I even flip it on shallow water, that kind of stuff.

So, you know, I use a heavy jig sometimes.

For me, I'm flipping in there, I wanna get it to the bottom.

I wanna get it there pretty quick a lot of the time, so it kinda creates a reaction by

using a heavy jig.

I only carry about six colors.

That's a part of the keep it simple, you know, don't have a whole bunch of different crazy

colors for jig fishing.

I don't feel like you need them.

And the third one would be, you know, just to use it nearly every day you go.

I think last year on the Elite Series, I weighed the end fish on a jig in every tournament

except one.

Keri: Wow.

Ott DeFoe: So I think throughout the whole year in every tournament there was at least

one fish, and a lot of tournaments there were a lot more than one.

I think Lake St. Clair was the only place I didn't weigh in a fish on a jig.

Keri: Well, that's saying something for the jig, really.

Ott DeFoe: Yeah, yeah, very versitile.

Edwin Evers: Jig fishing?

You know, the biggest thing I can tell you in jig fishing is it's one of those baits

that always needs to be tied on.

You know, a lot of people think of a jig as it only relates to a crawfish, but a jig is

a great bluegill imitator.

It's also a great shad imitator all by change in the skirt color.

And there's just, you know, a couple of things to keep in mind.

You know, if you're fishing it on the bottom, I always like to try to be sure you drag...like

a football jig, drag your rod sideways.

That's gonna keep better contact with the bottom.

Fluorocarbon is a must when I'm in that situation.

You know, because fluorocarbon is a very dense line.

You have a direct pull with the jig.

If you're using monofilament, it's more buoyant, you're not gonna have near as good hook set

or the feel braid.

You don't have any stretch.

It's not the right line.

But then when I change that jig over to swimming it, favorite technique, you know, and a lot

of people don't realize it, [inaudible 00:03:47] interchangeable.

Just really a great technique, imitates a bluegill, especially this time a year around

this pond, that's when I change it over to braid.

A lot of times I'm swimming it around really heavy cover, making a long cast, and you don't

want any of that stretch, you know, so you get a really good hook set.

But, you know, those are my tips for jig fishing.

It's one of the best time-tested baits that there ever was.

Keri: Very true, very true.

And great tips.

Thank you so much.

Jacob Wheeler: You know, jig fishing is...it's one of those things that everybody has their

opinion on things.

You know, for me, I would say number one with a jig is when you make that cast, make sure

it's falling on a slackline.

When you have your line and you can pitch out there, a lot of people just click their

reel over and that jig will pendulum back, pendulum back.

And that's one thing, if it's a slackline, it's gonna fall real vertical, and a lot of

times I get my bites on the fall.

Another thing, inline line tie.

Now for me, personally, that's something that I like.

I feel I can get through the cover a little bit better and.

Last but not least, make sure you have a stiff weed guard, especially fishing in heavy cover.

If your jig is getting stuck all the time, you're not going to catch the bass.

So that's something that I would definitely have to recommend.

Keri: Top three tips for jig fishing.

Brent Ehrler: Jig fishing, top three tips.

Trailers are a big deal with jigs.

To me, there's two styles.

One has a lot of action to it, a lot of a kick, and one that's more of a subtle flap

to it.

Now, let's explain those.

Kick would be a Yamamoto Twin Tail Grub, has a lot of kick to it.

The other one would be a Flappin' Hog, which is a beaver-style bait.

So when you lift and drop that jig, it's more of a flap to it instead of a hard kick.

Colder weather, you want the one with little more of a flap to it versus the hard kick.

So warmer weather, the Twin Tail Grub, colder weather, the Flappin' Hog.

As far as where to fish, football head, for fishing deeper water, and then I use a Arkie-style

head for shallower water.

The reason for that is the football, you're fishing normally around structure cover out

deep.

I want the football head to catch when it's on the bottom, and it tends to wabble a lit

bit more.

The archy-style head is what I'm gonna use for fishing shallow cover, whether it's docks

or laydowns, that archy-style head is the better head for fishing shallow.

Weights, for deep, I use the three-quarter.

For shallow, I use half.

And that's about it across the board.

Keri: Keeping it simple.

Brent Ehrler: Keep it simple.

Keri: Yeah, perfect.

Thank you so much.

Greg Hackney: Oh, top...

You would ask me a hard one right off.

Number one would be colors.

Keep your colors simple.

You know, basically, you need a white one, a black one and a, you know, something green,

pumpkin, bluegill colored.

Number two would be trailers.

I do it about the same way.

I basically use three trailers on my jig.

I use a Rage Craw, I use a chunk of some sort, plastic chunk.

I choose a KVD Chunk, and I use a Menace Grub.

Keri: Perfect, perfect.

Greg Hackney: And the last tip would be, don't get caught up in using one size.

Like, if you're a big fan of a three-eights, occasionally try half or even a three-quarter,

you know, and swap it up a little bit, and I think you'll find you get a few more bites.

Keri: All right.

Great tips, really great tips.

Say Goodbye to Belly Fat with Eggplant Water. Learn How To Make ↓ ↓ ↓ - Duration: 4:07.

Losing weight is something that many people are looking for, but it is not always a simple task.

Eliminating excess fat is something that requires effort and discipline, especially

eating habits and the practice of Exercises.

We know that weight loss is related to amount of calories we consume in the day

to the day - when we are in deficit, that is, we take in fewer calories

of what our body needs, we are on the way sure to lose weight.

There are some foods that are great allies for people looking to lose weight more

fast.

One such food is the eggplant.

This legume of the chilli family may not be one of the most consumed foods

in the world, after all, its bitter taste hardly pleases the palate.

In today's video we will show you the benefits eggplant and how it can help you lose

Faster weight: Aubergine is rich in water, fiber, vitamins and minerals and is full

of antioxidants, while at the same time being a food with few calories.

For this reason she is a great ally to who wants to lose some extra pounds.

Eggplant is a food that has many insoluble fibers.

These insoluble fibers slow the process of digestion, which keeps you satiated by

more time.

When you feel less hungry, you end up consuming less calories.

In addition, the eggplant also has fibers soluble.

These fibers, when ingested together with water, acquire a form of gel in the stomach.

This gel has the ability to absorb fat and eliminate it through the stool, avoiding

that it is taken into the bloodstream.

This is why eggplant water is known in many places

as "miraculous water."

To make this drink, take an eggplant of medium size, remove its shell, wash it

and cut it into cubes.

Take a dark pitcher and put half a liter of water, adding the eggplant cubes.

Let the eggplant soak overnight and take it the next day, with a little

of lemon juice, to add more antioxidant and improve the taste of water.

It is recommended to take this water twice per day, before the main meals.

Do this for a week and watch the results.

In addition to helping to lose weight, this will help to improve cholesterol and will regulate

the intestine, promoting better elimination of toxins in the body.

This water is also a great remedy for people suffering from imprisonment

of belly.

David's Mormon Conversion Story - Duration: 11:58.

Okay so you remember that time in Shrek when donkey's singing and he's like,

"My problems have all gone. There's no one here beside me. But you gotta have friends!"

Okay, I just lost half our

viewers because I was just singing to introduce this video. Anyways, I'm here alone.

No Kwaku, no Mimi, no Justin. It's just you and me and today we're

going to talk about conversion and more specifically, my conversion story. And I

hope it is of some value to you. So. Here's the thing. I have been an official

member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for 18 years. I was

baptized when I was 8, both of my parents are LDS, all four of

my grandparents were LDS and the thing is when you say that to people, you

immediately lose credibility because they think well you've obviously just

been brainwashed your entire life, which really is not a fair

statement because at some point in your life you come to crossroads where

you have to decide if what you believe is really what you believe. I mean I'm

not gonna lie when I was a kid I went to church because my parents made me go to

church, that's the way it is. I would have stayed home if I could but that was a

long time ago and I've had to make decisions since then and I think the

first time that I was, that my testimony was truly challenged was on my mission

in Chihuahua Mexico. Yeah, that's actually a place, we had to check to when I got my

call but my companion and I were in, if I remember correctly, Ciudad Juarez which

is on the border between-- which is on the border of the United States and Mexico

and we were there and we contacted a man, knocked on his

gate I guess because everyone has a gate there instead of a door and he let us

into his house and we went into his office or his library and we started

talking and this guy was a Catholic theologian and he was old and seasoned

and he dedicated his entire life to studying theology so at this point

we're a little nervous but we also have that feeling like this is gonna be one

of those awesome missionary stories where he gets converted and we're gonna

be missionary legends. It did not go that way. It was terrible.

He ripped us to shreds. He looked us straight in the eye and he said, "Your

religion is a lie" and he did it with conviction and he said it as if he was

trying to do us a favor and both of us are just sitting there stunned and we

didn't know what to do and we choked. It was not good. We couldn't answer his

questions: "Why are you called elder?" "Well I..." "Wait, you don't even know why

you're called elder?" It was just bad! We offered him a Book of Mormon, he

rejected it and we left several days later. We actually ran into him again as

he was leaving a grocery store and he came over to us and he actually

apologized for how he had treated us and he asked for a Book of Mormon which was

great and then we never heard from him again. My point is is that there will be

moments in your life whether or not you were born in the church that you have to

sit back and think, "Is this really what I believe?" Yet a statement of that belief

in and of itself is not a conversion. Conversion comes when you

translate those beliefs from statements, from words into actions and

in that sense, conversion for me has much more to do with a lifestyle than it does

a singular event in my life. I couldn't pin my conversion

to a single event. I can tell you stories of when I have been touched by the

spirit or when my testimony has overcome obstacles and those experiences

contribute to to my conversion story but but my life is my conversion story, my

conversion story is getting up for church every week in the morning or

my story is trying to treat people with the same love and respect that Christ

would treat them, my story is struggling to learn the language of the Spirit. It's

those things that you do every day that that really make up your conversion

story. In my case, I think another thought most people associate with conversion is

the idea that if you're converted, you have everything figured out and that's

just not true at all. I have questions out the wazoo, I have

questions about doctrine, I have questions about history, I have questions

about a third thing that I can't think of right now but I've got a lot of

questions. It's normal to have questions even though you're a member of the

church, even though you've been a member of the church your whole

life. Last year I was on a plane to Australia-- So we've got Luna Park right there,

we've got a giant bridge here,

we've got--

and it was at the same time and going to the same city where the Book of Mormon

musical was playing and I was sitting next to a man who I quickly found out

was an atheist who was on his way to Australia specifically to see the Book

of Mormon musical and when he found out that I was Mormon, he flipped out. He was

so excited to meet a real Mormon in real life, he took a picture of me and I had

that like, hold up my phone with the gospel library app with the Moroni on it

as proof that I was Mormon and I felt like a novelty item but he obviously

disagreed with my beliefs and we talked about his beliefs and my beliefs and as

he asked me questions that I couldn't answer because there aren't answers to

some questions, the feeling I got from him was, "How do you deal with all of this

cognitive dissonance?" And my feeling on that is in the realm of faith, cognitive

dissonance is a given in that there are questions that we can't answer, we can't see

God. I believe in God. I can't see him therefore cognitive dissonance. That's

just a fact of life. If you've got questions about the church, that's fine,

you can still be a member of the church and have questions about the church. It's

part of the process according to the scriptures. Faith is a hope in things

that aren't seen and to me that implies questions. Having faith intrinsically

implies that there's going to be room for doubt to push back against that

faith and it's going to be a choice that you have to make between faith or doubt

and that's the way it's always been and that's the way it's always gonna be.

Here's a quote from Elder Maxwell. It's really cool, he says, "

So I'm okay with having questions, having faith implies also having

questions and not being able to answer some of them. To some people that's not

okay, to some people, having questions is unacceptable and and their faith can't

surmount those questions and I understand that and I sympathize with

those feelings and I'm sure some of them will probably come out in the comment

section of this video not having all the answers is hard but I'm gonna tell you a

secret...

Mormonism cannot answer all of your questions. Yeah. I said it. But! B-U-T, don't

go adding an extra T in there. Mormonism can answer all of the

questions that truly matter. Remember that one because that's important. For

instance, we know who we were before this life, we know where we were, we know what

we were doing to a certain extent, we know what our purpose on earth is, we know

where we're going after we're done on this earth after death, we know what we

need to do to return to the presence of God, we have the fullness of the gospel

of Jesus Christ, those are the questions that truly matter and those are the

answers that Mormonism provides so if you ask me about my testimony, I can tell

you this. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is good. I

know that, I've seen it, I've experienced that with all five of my senses. The

church is good. I have faith that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day

Saints is the restored Church of Christ himself and faith is about as good as

it's gonna get for me I think in this life so I'm gonna have to be okay

with faith which means I'm gonna have to be okay with some of the unanswered

questions that I have and I am okay with it so if you have questions, don't

don't panic just take those questions and understand some won't be answered

but try to see the larger scope of things, try to understand the value of

what we do have because the value of what we do have is so incredibly more

weighty than the value of the unanswered questions that we have and that's what

gets me to church on Sunday is the value of what we do have and I believe that

what we do have is true and I share that in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Well if you liked this video, then like it in real life, in the cyberworld

which may or may not count as real life and subscribe to the channel and go to

how great the show is and how much you learn and how much of the Spirit you

CNN 10 - April 25, 2018 | An enzyme is hoped to help tackle the world's problem with plastic waste. - Duration: 7:52.

A political crisis in Armenia leads of today`s edition of CNN 10. I`m Carl Azuz. Glad to

have you watching.

Armenia is a small landlocked nation between Turkey and Azerbaijan. Its government is officially

a parliamentary democracy. But large protests

welled up in the country`s capital recently, because the Armenian public believes their

former prime minister had done something unconstitutional.

Serzh Sargsyan was the president of Armenia for 10 years starting in 2008. During that

time, he promoted changes in the nation`s constitution that

made the office a prime minister, more powerful than the presidency. And though he said he

would not try to become prime minister, after his term as

president ended, the nation`s parliament, which is controlled by Sargsyan`s political

party elected to give him the job anyway.

Tens of thousands of people protested. They saw this as an illegal power grab. And things

escalated when members of Armenia`s opposition political

party were held by police.

On Monday, though, Prime Minister Sargsyan announced he`d resign, saying the street movement

is against my tenure. I am fulfilling your demand.

So, what happens now?

Armenia is faced with a task of working out some sort of political compromise so the nation

can move forward.

They`ve also been some rapid changes on the Korean peninsula. In late 2017, the international

community placed the toughest sanctions, economic

penalties that it`s ever put on North Korea after the communist country flaunted it`s

nuclear and missile programs. Now, just a few months later,

North Korea`s weapons test have apparently quieted down and the country`s dictator, Kim

Jong-un, looks like he`s ready to turn his back on years of

isolation to appear on the world stage. He`s preparing for a summit that will be held later

this week with South Korean President Moon Jae-in and a

possible meeting in May or early June with U.S. President Donald Trump.

Both South Korea and the U.S. have been rivals of North Korea since fighting stopped in the

Korean War in 1953.

We`re just a few days now from that North-South Korean summit that the South Korean President

Moon

Jae-in has called a guide post, a stepping stone, to the next summit, that between the

U.S. President Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un.

We have been hearing from White House officials. Press Secretary Sarah Sanders saying the U.S.

is not naive in this process. They won`t make the

same mistakes the previous administrations have been, something we have heard before.

Also hearing from the White House that they`re not going to

make any concessions until Kim Jong-un does show that he is going to dismantle the nuclear

and missile programs.

So, the final preparations now ongoing for the meeting on Friday. We know there will

be rehearsals over the next couple of days with both North and

South Korean officials to make sure that everything goes very smoothly. They appreciate this is

an historic moment.

It`s the first summit between North Korean and South Korean leaders in more than a decade,

but it`s going to be the first time that a North Korean

leader crosses the border into South Korea. And just for that occasion, they`re going

to let South Korean journalists cross the border into North

Korea so they can capture that moment on camera.

We`re told this will all be broadcast live with a welcoming ceremony and also a banquet

after the meeting. The meeting itself clearly won`t be

broadcast live.

We also have the menu. Obviously, well thought out, this food sources not only from the town

of a South Korean president, but also the two previous

presidents who met the late Kim Jong-il at the two previous summits, the father of the

current leader Kim Jong-un. There`s also going to be cold

buckwheat noodles from North Korea. They`re bringing a chef with them and the machine

to make those noodles.

So, clearly, a lot of thought has gone into this, trying to show an even keel between

the two Koreas. So, the preparations as I say are ongoing now

as both sides appreciate that this is an historic moment.

Paula Hancocks, CNN, Seoul.

Ten-second trivia:

Which of the world`s major oceans is the shallowest?

Arctic Ocean, Atlantic Ocean, Indian Ocean, or Southern or Antarctic Ocean?

The Arctic Ocean has the distinction of being both the shallowest and smallest ocean in

the world.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

AZUZ: We`ve reported on the great Pacific garbage patch. Now, it looks like the Arctic

Ocean has one of its own, but it`s not necessarily visible

to the naked eye.

Researchers gathered samples from the Arctic in 2014 and 2015, and they say they detected

a tremendous amount of microplastic particles. Those are

pieces of plastic smaller than five millimeters. It`s possible that animals at the bottom of

the food chain could be eating them, and

scientists say the biggest sources for this type of pollution included packing materials,

nylon, paint and a fiber often found in cigarette

filters. They believe some of these particles probably traveled through the air at some

point on their journey.

Last week, we mentioned how scientists had developed an enzyme that can help break down

a common form of plastic called polyethylene terephthalate

or PET. Here are the details on how that works.

REPORTER: PET is found in everything, from plastic bottles to clothing. First developed

in 1940s, it`s now a major part of our plastic problem.

Euromonitor International forecasts more than 600 billion PET bottles will be made next

year alone. PET can take hundreds of years to break down in

the environment. But now, scientists have stumbled upon a shortcut.

JOHN MCGEEHAN, PROFESSOR, STRUCTURAL BIO, UNIVERSITY OF PORTSMOUTH: A couple of years

ago, there`s a Japanese group that made a spectacular

discovery of a bacteria that can digest PET plastic in a recycling dump in Japan. And

what we`ve done is we`ve taken the enzyme that this bacteria

produces.

REPORTER: That enzyme is called PETase. It works, but it doesn`t work fast enough to

use in an industrial scale.

Using this particular accelerator in Oxford in U.K., McGeehan along with his colleagues

in Brazil and the U.S. examine the enzyme write down to the

economic level. They found that by tweaking it slightly, it could break down plastic at

an even faster rate.

MCGEEHAN: The bacteria can break this down in a matter of days or weeks, but what we`re

hoping to do with the enzyme is just in the same way you use

an enzyme in a biological washing detergent, breaking down grass stains. These enzymes

we hope can break down PET ideally in a matter of hours.

That`s the goal.

REPORTER: McGeehan says its was the scientific community that developed plastics and now

that same community must use all the technology at their

disposal to find solutions to the problems plastics have caused.

AZUZ: You`re about to learn why I was told to be careful with today`s "10 Out of 10"

segment.

First, it`s about the seventh planet from the sun. That`s Uranus. Second, it`s about

what scientists say they`ve detected in the planet`s clouds,

hydrogen sulfide. That`s the molecule that gives rotten eggs their stinky smell.

So, the possibly pungent planet probably isn`t particularly pleasant, but it also isn`t likely

anyone would notice since people couldn`t survive

there.

Still, if they wanted to take a trip, they`d have to carefully planet. The journey alone

would stink. Traveling more than one and a half billion

miles could take nine years. So, maybe you`d want to Saturn your attention to the ringed

planet, or Neptune your compass to the farthest one. The

seventh planet may not pass the sniff test.

I`m Carl Azuz and I`m pun-willing to say anymore than that.

How the Chalicothere Split In Two - Duration: 7:58.

SOLO TRAVEL WITH TODDLER: Ditching the plans in Lisbon - Duration: 8:30.

as the stress of travel began to wear off and as we adjusted to our new Lisbon

home away from home, we hit such a sweet spot of the trip. I threw out all my

plans and agendas and put my kid in her carrier on my back and walked.

I walked

and walked--up and down little alleyways, letting myself wander. It was one of the

best days of the whole trip. The day when I knew for certain that this had been

the right thing to do, and something in me seemed to awaken. I felt happier than

I had been in a long long time.

Okay, we had the most amazing pastel de nata

in the world. Of course it's the only one I've ever had, so you

know, but I'm pretty sure that it was the best.

we're having a great time! We decided to not have any plan at all and that feels

great. We are just going to walk and try not to get run over by the cars. We are

just going to explore this city

and we're gonna sing "Baby Beluga" while we do it

with you so happy!

So, we have wandered over to the river

it is so beautiful and behind me you can see... maybe you can see the bridge and

(answering Harper) there are probably underwater creatures in there. Lisbon is amazing

I'm gonna start a new fitness program. it's going to be called

walk all over Lisbon and up lots of stairs

while carrying a 27-pound toddler on your back. promises great results

so going up that hill wearing a toddler on your back is not

easy but it sure trumps trying to get a stroller up the hill so if you are

physically able to wear your baby or toddler I highly suggest you do that

rather than bring a stroller. all right we are pushing Harper on the swing here

and I am so glad that we ditched the plans and just walked today because we

are seeing so many beautiful things and I'm not stressing about trying to get

anywhere or having a destination or trying to figure out public transport

because to be honest that's sometimes a little tricky and confusing at first and

right now I want simple and I want spontaneous and playful and light and

joyful and that is what we are getting into today. The chicken! Oh my gosh! The way we

found it ...we kept looking for a restaurant. Harper said she was feeling

hungry so I said okay I'll find a restaurant and I would walk by these

restaurants and suddenly realize that I understood the menu because it was in

English like oh no no no no no we cannot do that, and then I kept seeing people

with maps--second bad sign, and people with large cameras--third bad

sign. so we were walking and I saw someone who

seemed local: no map no camera, and he turned down this little--go higher? okay--he

turned down this little side street and they were repaving the road or

something so it was all chewed up and like hard to walk on and I was like okay

great no tourist is go down this street and we walked down a little bit

and suddenly I saw a sign for chicken and I was like okay I know that word

frango--even more higher? okay--and I saw that they had a half chicken and

a drink for like four euros so we stopped and there was not

even any place to eat it was just a tiny little place with a like rotisserie BBQ

spit thing over the charcoal, and oh my gosh

It was so delicious!

so yeah just I'm having a very difficult day and a very difficult evening

April Barkbox - Duration: 6:31.

Hello everyone! Today, I am with my dog, because I received my box of the company Bark Box.

So, I am say that I was going to film video with you at once, that I was going to show you that there is inside.

OK, you are going to take place of the side that I do not put the camera. You are cool you.

Thus the box of this month, looks like that. It looks like a safe in the treasure. I think that this month, the theme it is the pirates.

There is a small card as I had in my fisrt video , who explains how the site works.

That it is one kind of treasure hunt. So, I am going to take time to read that later.

Oh my god! I was not so much sure if I was going to have one of it. We received a bandana. I am really satisfied, because I had no it.

And now, I can say that I have one of it. And it is with death's-heads. He is written Beard's Bark Bandana.

I think that I am going to try him now.

Sit!Yeah, you are really beautiful with that. That gives you a rebel look.

The something else, it is little treats. I hate that, because I am not centred, and one do not see me the face a lot as I would want.

It is just because if I want to film the dog, I really have no choice.

That we get away to me the head just a little. Thus, it is written that it is of the real beef with some bacon.

He is written, Yo! Ho! Ho! Pawrates Bounty.

I do not know if I pronounce it as one needs. And that, it is natural. Wheat free. It is fish' not chips medley.

He is written, Freeze Dried Whitefish + Salmon Biscuits.

That looks like that. The something else than we have then, it is a toy like that. He is written

Thus, it is a fish like that, a fish pirates.

Toys owed all the same not, it did not owe for so long that that. It is just because my dog destroys quite toys easily.

So, the toys that he had the last time, it did not last as long as I shall have wanted it, but it is all the same good quality toys.

Because they owed more that one day, and usually, it is rare that the toys of my dog owed a day.

For example, the toy which lasted him longer, it was an error. I had bought the balls of the compagny Chuck-It.

I wanted to buy the one who was lined blue and orange that you can squeeze. I do not too much know how I can explain what I want to say.

But I made a mistake, it is the one that we use with one throw ball. And in date, that makes can be two, three months when I have it, and

I have two of it, but I have for lost the other one. I do not know anymore where she is. But I have two of it, and both are still alive. So, it is really toys which owed for a long time.

Other toy, it is one anchor like that. And it is written Mom and Dad.

It's the Anchor's Awag

I and my beautiful accent. There is something who makes, Oh. Yes, that makes noise.

And the last thing that he had, it is .

Crunchy, it's a 10 inch. But I do not know it is in what It's not written.

Feisty Chew For Dogs. So, it looks like that.

And that looks all the same rather hard. So, according to me, that goes can be long being when he is going to eat it.

I shall not give to him at once. No, waits. Sit.

We are going to open the Pawrates Bounty.

If I can.

That looks like in big one little treats like that.

Give me your paw.

Give me your paw.

Give me your paw.

Good dog! Give me the other paw.

Good dog! Come down. yeah.

Is it good?

Other one, I shall give him another time. Now, we go to see which of the toys that he is going to want in the first one.

So, it is everything for the video. I hope that as last time, you appreciated to spend some time with me and my dog.

So, it is everything for the video, I hope that you appreciated the video, and we see again each other in a next video. Bye everyone.

Michelle Is Furious! Melania Just Humiliated Her During State Dinner With France - Duration: 3:59.

Michelle Is Furious!

Melania Just Humiliated Her During State Dinner With France.

Michelle Obama is not happy with all of the good press that Melania Trump has been receiving.

To make matters worse for the former first lady, she was just utterly humiliated by Melania

during Tuesday's state dinner with France.

French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte arrived at the White House on Monday

evening for a three-day visit with U.S. President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania.

On Tuesday the evening, the couples are set to enjoy a state dinner that Melania Trump

has been tirelessly preparing.

When Michelle Obama threw her first state dinner in 2009, she was ill-prepared for the

amount of security such an occasion requires.

As a result, an uninvited reality tv show couple was able to crash the event:

The Obamas' first state dinner for the Indian prime minister in November 2009 wasn't quite

so flawless.

The menu was prepared by celebrity chef Marcus Samuelsson.

Jennifer Hudson provided the entertainment.

The decorations were lush.

But it was all overshadowed by news of gate crashers Michaele and Tareq Salahi.

They weren't invited but were auditioning for the Real Housewives of D.C. reality show

and somehow made it past multiple layers of security to get into the dinner.

The Salahis ended up making headlines and generating more press than anything else which

went down that evening, thoroughly embarrassing Michelle Obama as the incident revealed she

had not adequately prepared for the event.

At the time, CBS News reported, "The Secret Service, who has been embarrassed by the incident,

has said charges might be coming for the Salahis.

Two senators have called for an investigation and the Salahis have been asked to explain

themselves before Congress."ABC News said of the ordeal, "Nearly a week after aspiring

reality-TV stars Tareq and Michaele Salahi crashed the Obamas' first state dinner,

new details have emerged about the couple and their daring two-hour masquerade on the

White House grounds.

Sources tell ABC News the leading theory in the ongoing Secret Service investigation is

that officers at the initial White House checkpoint waived the couple in, assuming that their

names would be checked against a guest list at the next one."

Melania Trump's first state dinner, on the other hand, promises to be a much more organized

affair:The menu is meant to pay tribute to American culinary traditions with "nuances

of French influences."

It begins with a course of goat cheese gateau, tomato jam, buttermilk biscuits and greens

from the White House kitchen garden.

The main course includes lamb, cipollini soubise and Carolina gold rice jambalaya.

To finish it off, the Macrons will be treated to a nectarine tart with crème fraîche ice

cream.

The meal will be served on both the Clinton and George W. Bush china, which features a

green color palette to complement the green flowers that will be featured in the dining

room.

There will also be more than 1,200 branches of cherry blossom, all homegrown in the United

States, and more than 2,500 stems of white sweet peas and 1,000 stems of white lilac.

The Kennedy Center's Washington National Opera is expected to perform.

[Source: NPR] The first lady has been tirelessly preparing

for tonight's dinner, and you can be sure that she has left no stone unturned, least

of all the matter of White House security.

Michelle Obama just can't hold a candle to Melania Trump.

Over the first fifteen months of the Trump administration, we have watched as Melania

shows her predecessor how it's done time and time again.

Tonight's state dinner surely will not be any different.

what do you think about this?

How the Chalicothere Split In Two - Duration: 7:58.

Can Sober Alcoholics Do Cannabis? - Duration: 5:09.

I've been sober for 35 years and for 25 of those years I didn't sleep.

I passed out, took naps and slipped into a semi comas but I didn't just sleep.

I did put on 20 pounds watching TV... that was my sobriety for the first 25 years.

I medicated with 12-step allowable addictions I drank a lot of coffee and

lost weekends with sugar.

I was alcohol free and riddled with anxiety.

10 years ago a doctor suggested I try cannabis and I told

him being a sober member of several 12-step programs that

I considered that to be switching cabins on the Titanic.

He suggested that with children of Holocaust survivors

such as myself, weed has been an

effective medicine. Something just seemed right and I said

you're at the doctor! I got a prescription smoked pot

for the first time in 25 years

and threw up. I got over it.

I went into recovery to give up what was killing me

not what was helping me.

I went to dozens of meetings a week,

I was in therapy with a qualified professional and yet

I couldn't quiet the critical committee.

Even in meditation the demons would come up to tell me how

I wasn't meditating right.

I remember getting sober in 1983 and

wondering how I was going to scrape myself off the ceiling.

I began teaching aerobics because

it wasthe way to make money but mostly it was

the only way I could breathe. Teaching class would always calm my anxiety as

loud music and yelling at people can do but

you can't depend on physical activity to calm you down

especially in traffic

or when talking to your mother.

So for 25 years I was nervous. I was born nervous and then my mother scared me.

and for the past 10 years I've been less nervous.

I sleep when I want to, my weight doesn't seem to be an issue anymore, I

get outside much easier.

Life happens but the demons are on the outside

not in my head where I can see them.

I feel, dare I say, more sober now!

I enjoy the clarity cannabis offers and also how much better food tastes but I

don't seem to overeat.

I ask myself occasionally

-- hey did I do this stupid thing because of weed and then

I reflect back to the 25 years of no weed

and the really stupid things I did

and the answer's no, it's not the weed.

It's you.

I'm a human and humans make mistakes.

Without the extra anxiety I'm able to

reflect on my behavior without becoming defensive.

Like Sherlock Holmes I feel I need a little extra something

to detect danger and help me to embark

on adventures in this messy world.

LISTEN, it's not for everybody.

Some people would just like pass out or become couch locked but

as the man I was married to for 18 years told me and he'd know,

"You're a Pothead when you're not smoking all you did was watch TV and eat."

Yeah ...the cannabis seems to inspire energy and it's hard to

stay on the couch

I'd rather create TV than watch it.

Have you tried weed?

Do you think it's bad?

Do you think I'm bad?

And is that badin a good way??

Post your comment below.

Let me know how it goes...

would you like to start a 12-step meeting?

Would you come to one?

If you have a resentment you know what to do --pray for me

and if you feel like doing a 12-step call on me

you better bring some Sour Diesel

because I'm celebrating 4/20.

So happy 4/20 doesn't stand for Hitler's birthday anymore. It used to.

Peace and love and subscribe to the channel.
