Since 1969, 12 humans have walked on the moon and made their way back home.
Here are just 5 of the many ways to prove it actually happened.
NASA astronauts brought back about 842 pounds of lunar samples for scientists to study,
the oldest of which are 4.5 billion years old—200 million years older than Earth's oldest rocks.
They're also almost completely void of nitrogen, carbon dioxide, water, and other elements
and compounds found in our crust and atmosphere.
Test after test after test proved that these rocks simply do not exist on modern-day Earth.
Even today, images collected by NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter show the landing sites
of Apollo 11, 12, 14, and 17, as well as various walking and rover paths.
But if you don't trust those, plenty of independent institutions, as well as amateur
astronomers from around the world, have seen remnants and signs of the Apollo missions.
If you have a pretty powerful telescope and a clear view of the full moon,
you could even see them yourself.
Moon landing conspiracy theorists often point out that objects in the lunar module's shadow
are illuminated, so there must have been multiple light sources during the filming,
instead of just the sun as we were were told, right?
Not quite.
Lunar dust, or regolith, is reflective.
Sunlight bounces off of it like it would a mirror, lighting up any surrounding objects nearby.
Unparallel shadows also don't mean there were multiple stage lights—you can recreate
this with an uneven surface on Earth.
Another argument in favor of the "fake moon landing" is that there are no stars in photos of the event.
But that ignores some basic constraints behind photographing things on the moon.
In such a dark background with objects so brightly lit by the sun, the aperture of the
astronaut's camera needed to be kept small to make sure the lander and humans stayed
clear and sharp.
This left the camera unable to pick up on any faint starlight in the background sky.
Perhaps one of the most talked about pieces of evidence to suggest the moon landing was
faked is the alleged movement of the U.S. flag planted by Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin.
Theorists say the flag moved after it was planted, so a wind (which can't exist on
the moon) must have blown the cloth.
The flag does move as it's being planted—there's no denying that movement.
But it's the act of planting the flag that caused those ripples to move through the cloth,
not fluttering in the wind.
After 40+ years of exposure to extreme sunlight and lack of atmosphere, experts believe the
flags have bleached and are now white.
But LRO photos show that five of the six flags that Apollo astronauts planted are still standing.

2018: The Year In Lyrics | Genius News - Duration: 5:28.
JACQUES: 2018 is coming to a close so here are the top 10 lyrics of the year according
to Genius data.
First up, we head to Toronto, Canada.
JACQUES: These lyrics off of the Weeknd's track, "Call Out My Name" from his March EP
"My Dear Melancholy," may be referencing his break-up with singer, Selena Gomez,
after nearly a year of dating.
"Melancholy" lives up to it's name and apparently Abel scrapped another happier album
before releasing this one.
For no. 9, we head to Chicago by way of Calabasas.
JACQUES: At the time of its release in April 2018, "Lift Yourself," was thought to
be Kanye's response to Hot 97's Ebro for his anger Ye's support of President Donald Trump.
Eventually, we would find out that the real target may have actually been Drake.
DRAKE: Whatever I wake up now to this text from him, passive, he sends me some thing, like,
'Yo, I love you brother.'
'Lift yourself' comes out with him just talking nonsense.
JACQUES: At no. 8 we have Post Malone and Ty Dolla $ign's "Psycho."
This double entendre for the expensive watchmaker Audemar Piguet and the video game Fallout's
"Action Points," kicked off a song that took four months to hit the top
of the Billboard Hot 100.
For no. 7, we revisit one of the most hyped beefs of the year.
JACQUES: "The Story of Adidon," Pusha T's haymaker response to Drake's "Duppy
Freestyle," revealed to the world that the Canadian MC was a father.
Drake thought Push's labelmate Kanye was the the source of the information but
Push later claimed that it was Drizzy's producer, 40.
PUSHA T: With that also came the fact that Drake has a child, with that also came the
trip that everybody took to go see the child to bring him gifts and all of this information.
JACQUES: For no. 6 we head to the midwest.
JACQUES: Eminem's "Killshot" was the fiery response to Machine Gun Kelly's
"Rap Devil," a beef that came to a head in 2018 after years of simmering under the radar.
As for these lines, Eminem and Rihanna did not date but these bars were a direct response
to a few jabs on "Rap Devil."
JACQUES: For no. 5 we're headed back to Canada.
JACQUES: The marquee lyric off Drake's massive single "God's Plan," re-affirms his
well documented love for his mother, Ms. Sandy Graham.
"God's Plan" kicked off a big year for Drizzy, spending 11 weeks atop the Billboard
Hot 100 only to be taken over by *himself* with "Nice for What."
It even finished number one on Billboard's annual year end list.
I guess Drake's 2018 was "God's Plan" indeed, eh?
Next up we have Ariana Grande and her burn book.
JACQUES: Here at no. 4, Ariana references her ex and former backup dancer, Ricky Alvarez,
part of the donut-licking incident of 2015, as well as her songs "Moonlight" and
"True Love" off of 'Dangerous Woman' and 'Christmas and Chill' respectively.
The music video pulled inspiration from a number of classic female-led films like
"Mean Girls" and "Bring It On."
In December, Genius sat down with director Hannah Lux Davis on how it all came together.
HANNAH LUX DAVIS: What we wanted to do is make sure we created the same feeling that
we got while watching the movies but then also put the Ariana Grande spin on everything.
Instead of a bend and snap we called it the "thank u, next."
JACQUES: At no. 3 we have lines from the late XXXTENTACION'S "SAD!" possibly
referring to his tumultuous relationship with his ex-girlfriend, for whom he was awaiting
trial on charges of domestic violence and kidnapping.
In June 2018, X was killed at a motorcycle shop and afterwards "SAD!" rocketed to
number one on the Billboard Hot 100.
Due to his death, the charges would later be dropped.
For no. 2 we dig into the Black experience in the United States.
JACQUES: Childish Gambino's "This Is America" hit like a bomb, debuting atop the Billboard
Hot 100, and had the whole country curious about its true meaning.
He...distracted us with a lot of pop culture references...like using a lot of popular dances
that distracted us from the greater picture that was going on in the background.
JACQUES: This year's award season may be very good for Gambino as "This Is America"
netted 4 Grammy nods including Record of the Year.
And now, for the no. one lyric of the year, we head back to the Six.
JACQUES: Buoyed by a viral dance challenge and an infectious Bounce beat, Drake's "In
My Feelings" reigned atop the Billboard Hot 100 for 10 weeks, practically all summer.
And together with his other number one's "God's Plan" and "Nice For What," allowed him to eclipse
Usher for most time spent at no. 1 by any artist in history.
As for Kiki, Genius identified her as model K'yanna Barber in July.
That's it for the top lyrics of 2018.
Are there some lyrics that didn't get enough shine this year?
Let us know.
I'm Jacques Morel with Genius news, bringing you the meaning and the knowledge behind the music.
See you in 2019.
Peace!

Scenes from the video feature Cardi in a variety of outfits pole dancing, counting money, and even breastfeeding her infant daughter Kulture.
Needless to say, Cardi's antics have caught the attention of her enormous fanbase on Twitter and Instagram.
The hashtag #MoneyMusicVideo began trending as soon as the video dropped, with many praising Cardi for her charismatic presence and the video's director, for the stunning choreography and design. "From to the aesthetics, cinematography," wrote one stunned user.

Others Commended Cardi B for Embracing Both Her Past As a Stripper & Her Current Role As a Mother.
Some fans praised Cardi for embracing her past as a stripper and making it a standout part of the music video's aesthetic.
"Cardi is not ashamed of being an ex-stripper.
She embraces as part of her journey making her money!!!!," wrote one fan.
"I love how in the video she's paying homage to STRIPPER Cardi, MONEY making Cardi & Momma Cardi + she's saying they're all one.
The past and the future merge.".
"These images are so powerful," tweeted out another fan.

"I am currently eating my words because Cardi B is hard to hate," one user admitted.
"Cardi proved me wrong, and I'm man enough to admit it.
The video was amazing." Others were quick to point out that the Cardi wears during parts of the video were a possible nod to Lil Kim.
According to The Fader, Cardi is expected to re-release Invasion of Privacy with "Money" as a bonus track on January 25. "The plan was always to drop a bonus, but I didn't think I was gonna be so busy doing back and forth things after giving birth," Cardi had said in a Beats 1 interview with Ebro.
"December or January.
It's songs that I think are really good that didn't make the album." Invasion of Privacy is currently nominated for Grammy Awards, including Best Rap Album, Record of the Year, and Album of the Year.

heard about this event
RIA: Yea it's just beautiful it's like what
Christmas was 150 years ago beautiful
pioneer spirit and the snows on the ground
and we got our horses and our wagon and
were ready to have some Christmas fun.
CHAD: It would have been a horse and
sleigh had there been more snow but the

and we've got James and the wagon master
Wyatt here to have any instructions for us
Wyatt.
WYATT: Sit down and enjoy the ride.
RIA: There you go sit down and enjoy the

CHAD: Well were going to follow those
instructions very closely let's find out a little
bit more about candlelight Christmas.
DIAMOND JIM: imagine being able to
actually step into Dickens a Christmas Carol
coming here and learning the 19th century
traditions of what it was like to be a pioneer
in this wonderful valley that we live in. The
reality is there is so much here to do
imagine being able to learn the history of
the gingerbread cookie and then have a bite
of one that's actually made right here. A a
lot of people think were not open year-

time and we have winter activities such as
horseback riding not to mention that our

all all about families coming in and making
it a family tradition. I hope you get to go
home with a Christmas ornament may be a

NARRATOR: In fact Scrooge became so
impressed with the things that he learned

given tonight
DIAMOND JIM: But the reality is you get to
come up and see lights like you've never
seen before you get to see people in crazy
costumes but sorry I've got the tallest hat to
run the village. So of course father
Christmas is here so you've got to make
sure he's one of your stops along the way
and then in one of the houses you can write
a letter to father Christmas and while you're
at it send it the old-fashioned way by
putting it in the fire and sending it straight
up the chimney not to mention in the
saddle shop you'll learn all about the 12
days of Christmas really what is the true
tradition and what it means our blacksmith
is here working on projects we have
artisans that are have a number of things
here available in the hospital you'll get to
pick up some ornaments not to mention
upstairs we have our lace maker of course
with fantastic holiday quilts and you can
have anything better than the Heritage
carolers we actually spent six months
getting our carolers ready to go so if you
can imagine two wonderful courses ready
to sing for you and their dress just like I am.
RIA: Hello father Christmas.
FATHER CHRISTMAS: Hello
RIA: Hey how come your called father
Christmas and not Santa Claus
FATHER CHRISTMAS: Well because I'm from
the old country.
RIA: What's the old country?
FATHER CHRISTMAS: Germany.
RIA: there you go I'm part German I should
know these things.
FATHER CHRISTMAS: Yes you should you
should study up on these things.
CHAD: I'm sorry Sanna I'm going to
immediately be put on the naughty list
when you said old country I thought you
meant the senior center.
FATHER CHRISTMAS: no no not there yet.
RIA: well you know you never age you
always look the same.
FATHER CHRISTMAS: I know
RIA: you have such a good-looking
handsome beard there.
CHAD: When you come up here there's a
naughty and nice list that you get to sign
and you get to tell Santa Claus whether
you're naughty or nice.
RIA: yes so I don't need to go into detail
because I know you already know what I
want.
FATHER CHRISTMAS: Yes I do
RIA: Thank you father Christmas really come
see him he's awesome.
CHAD: Well right now were going to go to
something that you might find on your list
and that is our where to segment for this
week.
JOE: There are almost as many legends
about the outlaws of the west as there
were miles of barren landscape for them to
hide in. Places like The Hide Out, Robbers
Roost and Hole in the Wall all conjure up
images of the bandits past and memories of
the frontier. Jesse James, Billy the Kid,
Sundance Kid and of course Butch Cassidy.
Many Butch artifacts have been curated
already, along with the tales of his exploits.
They can be found as far north as the Jarvie
Ranch, and as far south as Circleville and on
into Arizona. So, when the tales of a new
piece of "Butch Art" surface, there are
adventure seekers and history buffs bound
to find them. This is such a tale.
TYLER JORGENSEN: So, we are in Garfield
County and we are going to be going on a
ride today to find Butch Cassidy's signature.
Actually, we heard that it was out here and
we want to go see it could be a good time
JOE: Jared and Tyler Jorgensen, live in
Richfield Utah and are joined today by Brett
Stewart, a Razor Riding cowboy and retired
real estate baron. Stewart is the master of
cowboy history , and the Jorgensen boys his
padawans.
TYLER JORGENSEN: Through growing up in
Richfield I never knew much about Butch
Cassidy. When we heard he may have
carved his name somewhere out here we
were really interested in coming out here
and riding and finding it. I got to look up
more of the history of Butch Cassidy and
researched and it was really fun. He was a
very famous outlaw. He was born in Beaver,
Utah.
JOE: Given the treasure map they have, a
phone picture and a GPS coordinate, our
adventurers know there will be some riding,
some, hiking and maybe even a little
climbing to get there.
TYLER JORGENSEN: So as you can see
there's not a lot of banks out here or trains
to rob. As you can see it's very remote and
he was out here hiding. Butch Cassidy
ended up leading a gang or a group called
the wild bunch and it kind of took off from
there earning his reputation.
JOE: After robbing the mining town of
Castlegate Utah in 1897, the wild bunch
found refuge in the robbers roost area. The
area is filled with ancient artwork left by
those who traveled through.
JARED: It's pretty obvious there was a big
presence of people here back in the day
we've got petroglyphs all over the canyon
walls you could come out here find
arrowheads once in a while it's pretty cool
stuff to see really.
JOE: but with so much history in one place,
even when you know exactly what you're
looking for, you can still leave empty
handed.
TYLER JORGENSEN: Well we drove we rode
we climbed and we hiked. We had certain
coordinates that led us to believe it was on
top of the plateau. We climbed as high as
we could and couldn't really get past a
certain point without certain gear so
decided not to risk it so looks like we'll have
to do this another day but it was sure fun
and it is beautiful up here definitely well
worth the ride.
JOE: Unfortunately, the carving of Butch
Cassidy's signature turned out to be as
elusive as the bandit himself but our boy's
misfortune only fuels their determination to
come back and try again.
TYLER JORGENSEN: Well will be back. Yeah
Butch Cassidy's not going to get away from
us that easy.
JOE: Hopefully the boys next adventure to
Robbers Roost Butch Cassidy doesn't slip
away again. For At Your Leisure in this
week's Where To Adventure, I'm Joe Davis.
SCOTT: Welcome back to at your leisure I'm
Scott Huntsman this what's new segment
this week is going to involve project Ruby
red were going to install some new
bumpers on this bad boy rock crawling
bumpers from LOD as well as a new wench
and a spare tire carrier that's going to go
along and complete the whole package let's
get started with this bad boy so today what
we want to do is replace the bumpers both
front and rear with a nice offloading rock
crawling bumpers made by LOD and I chose
the LOD brand based on their quality of
design and the angles of which will be able
to approach obstacles the LOD is just a
great design for all of that if you look at the
bumpers on the Jeep now you'll see that
there the original stock in plastic ones the
plastic over nine years as stated and looks
gray were also installing every off rotors
necessity which is the most valuable tool
that he will have which is a winch I could
hang the Jeep from a tree with that winch if
I wanted to it's also got a built-in air
compressor as well. So what were going to
start with is removing the bumpers from
the vehicle and remove the stock bumpers
off get them disassembled get the lights out
of the front and then will assemble the
lighting systems And such into the
replacement bumpers will install the winch
into the winch mounting plate that's what
installs first onto the Jeep and then the
outer housing bolts onto that we'll install
the parts will line him up and then will also
be installing bumper mounted spare tire
carrier because of the fact that the bumpers
are so functional on this Jeep especially
offloading will hit obstacles with a gun a
bump on so we gotta make sure the
hardware is good and tight grade a bolts we
want them to work properly we want it
aligned properly and fit properly because
not only is it going to be functional is going
to be looking cool to I love those bumpers I
love the way they went on I love the
craftsmanship of the product and really as
far as alignment such we ran into very very
little trouble I love the spare tire carrier I
love the way that it opens with one function
with the door in the swing away it's built
very strong you can see by the bearings and
the spindle that that thing is just tough as
nails that they couldn't be any stronger and
most of all it just looks fantastic I know my
wife is to be excited to drive this thing she
wants to show it off and I'm really excited
to put it on the trail and try it out okay they
were all done with this and it turned out
great I really like the looks of these LOD
bumpers and I love the winch out front
ready to try it out if this looks a bit too
much for you just come and see us over
here it to TUNEX in South Jordan or West
Valley we offer these products and we
install them as well.
CHAD: welcome back to at your leisure
we're up at this is the place Heritage Park in
front of the Pine Valley Chapel which is an
exact replica of the chapel that we've been
to down in Washington County.
RIA: It's beautiful they're doing the cute
little thing in there which is called Silent
Night which as of now it's like 200 years
since that beautiful song was written and
they tell a beautiful story about a Catholic
priest that was in Austria and the church
organ broke like two hours before the
church service and he just panicked and he
remembered he had written a poem like
two years before that and it was Silent
Night but he didn't have any music to it so
he ran across the street and found a
composer and he writes it by like two hours
by guitar and then they ran back over the
church and performed it and did their
service and they said it was just spectacular
and they been singing it every year since
ever since.
CHAD: Ever since, so the show must go on
there's proof well right now there are other
things going you know appear there are
several faces of Christmas let's enjoy them
for a minute.
RIA: and here we have the very first
Christmas this is a live nativity scene that
they have in the livery stable and it is
fabulous a life precious baby with Mary and
Joseph and I think I'm in a cry it's a beautiful
Merry Christmas it's so beautiful.
CHAD: Anyway right now were going to go
away to Reece Stein along the way and he
has an entirely different picture of
Christmas so let's check in with Reece.
REECE: I'm Reece Stein, At Your Leisure
along the way in my boyhood neighborhood
of Highland Park, at a holiday gift store with
lots of great outdoor ideas, some just for
the birds. We get the nickel tour of
backyard birds on highland drive at 27th
south with store manager j.b. leonard
J.B. LEONARD: Christmas tree ornaments
over here a lot of different kinds of owls
some light up at night. Some with
thermometers, seed houses, seed wreaths,
Tiffany lamps
REECE: It's a small space but jammed with
holiday gift suggestions especially for
anyone who likes birds.
J.B. LEONARD: We have all kinds of wild
birding supplies, everything for feeding
birds providing water for them. Shelter nest
boxes.
REECE: and bird feeders. Man do they have
bird feeders. All shapes and sizes of bird
feeders some that are so obscure they have
to tell you they are in fact bird feeders.
Feeders disguised as bird houses. Colorful
feeders, novelty feeders, all kinds of
hummingbird feeders. Bird feeders bring in
dozens of kinds of songbirds to brighten up
the yard of anyone on your holiday list.
J.B. LEONARD: We've got seed bells; small
cottages some ornaments you can hang on
trees outside that are covered in seeds.
REECE: Well it brightens up yard and
attracts birds?
J.B. LEONARD: Right.
REECE: But there is so much more seasonal
tree ornaments of all kinds.
J.B. LEONARD: We have socks great line of
socks fun brightly colored they don't exactly
match but they do.
REECE: Wooden puzzle boxes, a wall full of
wall clocks, another wall that stares right
back at you, shiny spinney things, and tons
of hanger downy things. Back yard birds is
literally jammed from the floor to the
ceiling. Shoppers flock to the store and
crowd the aisles.
KIM SMITH: I'm here to get very special gifts
for very special friends.
REECE: Is this a good place do it?
KIM SMITH: I'll tell you it's sparkling it's so
much fun to get someone into bird
watching.
REECE: More wonderful holiday ornaments
and colorful birds--of a different feather.
Stocking stuffers for just about every

ornaments then we came into backyard
birds and we found all sorts of great houses
and other ornaments so we're going to buy
some here.

seams. The gift ideas spill out the front
door.
LAURI ROBINSON: I'm doing some
Christmas shopping and I frequent backyard
birds quite often love the store I love to
support local.
REECE: Backyard Birds is a tiny store with
big gift ideas.

nothing like this store out there.
REECE: And at backyard birds, Alex will even
wrap your gifts for you. Reece stein At Your
Leisure along the way in my old stomping

Bori went missing
And came back on its own after a year
I called, Bori
And it knew its name
It's a miracle
It's quite fascinating
How can it come back after a year?
Daejeon -> Daegu -> Busan
Nothing's impossible
I was unsure at first
Because baekgu's (white Jindo dogs) look similar
Sit
House!
I'm Bori, and this is my house
As if I never left..
It wasn't this shy before
Shy Bori
I'm 100% positive that it's Bori
Is it Bori or no?
Used to have folded ears?
After 3-8 months, Jindo dogs' ears straighten
Even the nose is the same
I told you so!
Bori plays golf like the good ole days
Home sweet home
We're glad to have you back
What a lovely family portrait
Just a year ago..
I believe in miracles~

Never Do This to Your Car's Transmission - Duration: 4:49.
rev up your engines, bill camp says, I got a 2003 Honda Accord Coupe with an
automatic transmission starting to go bad
I'd like to swap it out for a manual transmission, how hard would it be and
is it worth the trouble, well let me just start out to say, it's really not worth
the trouble, to change an automatic to a standard, you got to change the
computer system, you'd have to cut holes put in a hole for the gear shift, you
would have to hook up a clutch pedal somewhere and bolt that on and
hydraulics, it is a giant pain in the butt, I've had customers do that and they all
after they did it said, Scotty I'll never do another thing like that again, it
was just too much of a headache, all that stuff that you got to change out and of
course the transmission is different, so the drive shafts are different too, you got
to swap them out, it is a pain in the butt, if you really want one go get a
standard transmission and get rid of yours
because it is a gigantic pain in the rear end swapping all that stuff out to make
it work correctly, believe me I've had people do it and they all said
they'd never do it again, John low says Scotty do you like FJ cruisers, well you
know I thought they were a cool vehicle, Toyota stopped making, but I think the
main reason they stopped making them was because you know they're up high up in
the air they're not aerodynamic, they had a big 6-cylinder engine they were pretty
big gas hogs, and they just decided to dump not make them anymore, they're well
made I had customers with them and they're all
happy and I had some customers that said, hey
I want to buy a new one but I can't they're not making them anymore, so I
said well go look for a good used one they're not that easy to find cuz
usually the guys that buy that type of vehicle if that's the type of vehicle
they want they're gonna be happy with the Toyota, you know it's not like well
they bought a car and they didn't really like the way it was made and what it looked
like and what it did, but people to buy those things they were looking for
something like that so, theirs really not the wrong other than they decided
not to make them anymore, CP says Scotty your thoughts on an 87 Buick Grand
National, okay well those are collectors items now, people like them and for the
type of vehicle that they are, they're pretty good vehicles you know, they've
got a lot of room and they got dependable engines and their
transmissions were pretty dependable, people that want
type of vehicle that's not a bad vehicle, now realize if you're gonna get one
that's a stock vehicle you're gonna paint pretty good money for it because
they've become collective items and that's you know what it's a 32 year old vehicle
now, since our collector's item you don't want to buy something like that and use
it as an everyday driver, you want to take care of it and keep it and insure it
and realize if you insure a classic car like that you don't drive if you drive
less than like 5,000 miles a year, you can get pretty cheap insurance on those
things, my customers that drive them, when they tell me
some of them are only paying three four hundred dollars years for insurance on them
so it might not be a bad deal, Garcia says I got an O7 Mustang my
brakes keep singing to the floor, mechanic says the master cylinder is
good and there's no leaks, one I'd say find another mechanic cuz it's his job
to find a problem and if he said he can't find the problem he's not a very good
mechanic, when they sink to the floor either you got a bad master cylinder or
you have a leak somewhere in the system, could be anywhere could be in anti-lock brake
system, or you got a bad brake booster here's the thing that you can kind of
get an idea about the booster is, turn the engine off, step on the brake with
the engine turned off, if it's rock hard you start up the engine and then you
step on it at sinks you got a bad booster and then you'd have to replace
the booster on it, it's a decent test to see if the boosters is bad, because the
boosters aren't cheap they're relatively expensive and you don't want to have to put
one on if you don't have to cuz that's an awful lot of money you're gonna spend
RR says I've got a vehicle it's Pontiac Vibe and it's running on a
bi fuel LPG and gasoline, the LPG has no issue but with the gasoline it has a
rough idle when it's warmed up and gives loss of power at 3,500 rpms and up
it gains back and then it looses, you know there's nothing wrong with the engine or
the ignition system, because it works fine on LPG don't you got some kind of
problem with the gasoline running system, the
first thing I would advise doing would be to pressure test the fuel pump, the
fuel pump for the gasoline is a different system than the LPG that's a
pressurized system by itself, gasoline has to be pumped with pressure with a pump,
pray it's just a weak fuel pump it could be that simple, if it isn't it can get
really complicated, it could be the fuel injectors are dirty or the computer isn't
pulsing them right, it has to be something in that gasoline fuel system
because if it runs perfect on the LPG everything else
is running fine, so pressure test the fuel pump first that's the first thing
that I would do, so if you never want to miss another one of my new car repair
videos, remember to ring that Bell!

Q&J HOW TO NAVIGATE THE HEALTHCARE SYSTEM, WHERE TO FIND FAT MASC CLOTHING - Duration: 9:32.
hey what's up everyone its jay this is comfy fat today I'm just gonna kind of
shoot the shit with you and try to have fun with it so if you do not know comfy
fat is a youtube channel where I vlog about my life with Corissa who's also a
fat girl flow while I've had a lot of fun doing the vlogs and stuff I'm also
finding that our lives just not really like all that interesting the
conversations that we have are super interesting but we live in the Midwest
we work from home I do freelance writing stuff and blogging and vlogging and hang
out with the dogs we don't go to a lot of like big fun
events so I'm trying to figure out what I want to do with this channel I asked
on Instagram what you all might want to see from me what you're looking for what
you're hoping for from the comfy fat channel and I got some really great
responses so overwhelmingly people would like to see me cook for them I am NOT a
great cook and when I said that in response people said that might be even
better and more interesting because it'd be fun to watch me learn how to cook
other folks that they want to see more vlogs with me and Corissa some folks
said they want to see us do some challenges I think we do have that in
our future one thing that I found interesting someone asked for me to talk
about navigating the health care system as a fat person it's hard that's the
thing is I've avoided going to the doctor's for many years in the past
because I was afraid to have to deal with the fat phobia and there is fat
phobia I mean there have been times when I've been told that I when I came in for
an issue that it was because of my weight when it clearly was not I've been
given advice on how to lose weight without asking for it I've also been
told that I would be a great candidate for gastric bypass surgery when I went
in there for a mole removal so these are things that are kind of minor in the
grand scheme of things as consequences of fatphobia in the
medical industry but something I've learned to do on my own is to do
research when I'm finding which place I want to go to
luckily I've found a healthcare place that I love here in Kansas and while the
policies are different because Kansas healthcare policies are different than
Massachusetts the actual venue itself and the equipment they use is actually
very accessible so they have you know those big tables that you have to get on
we go to the doctors we have ones that start really low and you sit on them and
then they lift up and they're really they have a high weight limit so that's
awesome when I had to give a urine sample recently because that's difficult
for some fat people um I found that it was really hard to ask for help with
that and luckily Corissa helped me and so she said you know peeing in a cup is
kind of hard for J is there anything else we can do they went and got me a
hat is what they call it and it's basically like a bowl that you like
put in the seat in the toilet seat and you pee in it and then put that in the
cup and that's so much easier I don't know why everyone doesn't do that so
it's called a hat so I don't know why ask for that if giving a urine sample is
difficult for you I think it all comes down to really like learning how to
advocate for yourself and that is hard there's no other way to prep for it
other than to come up with phrases that you want to have for yourself ahead of
time so you can say them to doctors if anything comes up so when asked to give
my weight by getting our scale I said I actually would prefer not to can I just
tell you what I weigh and they said yes you're actually not required to always
give your weight when you walk in it's just like kind of they just want to keep
track for some reason but you can say no I do think that navigating the medical
industry is really difficult and scary too
so coming up with the responses that you have prepared for potential things that
your doctor might say that's fatphobic that's one
thing also doing research into the place that you go to get your healthcare and
seeing if it's possible to find an accessible building that has more
up-to-date technology and stuff that might be a good thing and also doing
some research and what I mean by that is having research on hand to give to
doctors about any type of medical issue that you think would be helpful to build
your case against fatphobia in the in the medical industry is wonderful so not
that you necessarily have to have it on hand but referencing medical journals or
big articles that have come out to talk about experiences of people with eating
disorders or cases in which medical fatphobia has really impacted them could
help you feel like you have an arsenal of support backing you or what you say to
your doctor I'm super new to that activism really in the grand scheme of
things so I'm not like an expert but this is just like my advice and my
experience and hopefully y'all can take something from it
what else did people want to hear about somebody wanted to know about accessible
clothing for fat masculine or more androgynous style I mean to start off
androgynous does not have to mean masculine specifically but in this case
this person was asking for masculine clothing men's wear for fat people and
especially fat people who are above like a size 26 and plus size so the places
that I like to get clothing from our king size direct destination XL ASOS and
that badrhino JCPenney also has some clothing that I love they're big and
tall section is getting better and better I think for all of these brands
they're big and tall sections are getting better
and they don't just have gray sweatpants anymore they're starting to get much
more trendy and cool and cute so I definitely check out that like that's my
like top five JCPenney bad rhino ASOS destination XL and king size direct
and those are all online shopping by the way I don't go in store to any of those
because I can't how to deal with co-workers who are racist and homophobic
I have only experienced this one time well not one time I've experienced this
once with a specific co-worker a few years ago in a place that I worked at
where he was clearly racist he was from an older generation and that's not an
excuse it's just to put it in perspective he was sort of grandfathered
into the place that I was working at how I dealt with it as I started taking
notes you really have to have very specific examples of when the comments
have occurred that have make you feel uncomfortable have been racist or have
been homophobic or any of those things because you need to be able to prove
when and where they happened and the more detailed notes you have the better
so I would write down who said it when it was said the quote what your response
was and keep it in your phone or something you definitely don't want this
to be like a notebook that could be left around and found anywhere and then at
that point you might need to take that to either your supervisor or the
supervisor above them and that's because it becomes less complicated when you
bring it to a higher when you bring it to someone who's in a higher position of
power who does not also supervise that person because then they can have a more
objective look at it and it also keeps your identity
safe so even bringing things to your HR department might be the best route to go
because then they can work from there on how to handle those situations maybe
it'll end up in a mandatory training maybe that person will be approached
about it maybe there will be a mediation that happens who knows but bringing
those specific concrete examples of the racism that you've seen or witnessed
with the homophobia that you're hearing and bringing that to HR or people above
you and the person who's saying it that's the best way to go if you have
the privilege you can always quit and find another place to work so that
you're safe and comfortable not everyone can do that so anyway that's it that's all
today that's all for today I think I have to go take care of my dogs but
thanks for watching and supporting if you like the content you're getting here
please make sure you comment subscribe like the video to share with people the
more subs that I get the more motivated I can be to like really throw myself
into it and get you all content that you love it also helps me financially as I'm
only going off of like ads and YouTube doesn't really you don't really make a
lot of money on YouTube until you have more subscribers so in all full
transparency the more subscribers the better and I don't want to hound you
about subscribing but I do think that if you have a friend that you think might
like this kind of stuff just like share a video or send them my way or tag a
friend in the comments below and yeah let's get connected let's talk thanks
for watching again I'm J this is comfy fat I make
videos sometimes and I'll see you all next time alright hearts and rainbows

Read Yo' Shelves! - Announcement & TBR [CC] - Duration: 12:34.
Hi, YouTube, it's Kathy, and welcome to the shortest day of the year if you're in
the northern hemisphere, and the longest day of the year if you're in the southern hemisphere.
I'm always excited about the first day of Winter because it
means that it is the shortest day of the year, which means that that days can only
get longer, which is great because I have seasonal affective disorder and I really
like sunshine. It's also around this time of year that people start thinking about
their New Year's Resolutions, and a few months ago my friend Steph and I decided
that one of the things that we wanted to do, sooner rather than later, is start to
read some of the books on our own shelves, because both of us love the
library and use it all the time, which is good, but we prioritize library books
over the books that we physically own on our shelves. So for the month of January,
we are hosting a Read Yo' Shelves, which is a name we both think is adorable.
We tend to bond over adorable things: for example. she's the person that let me Check, Please!
which is the cutest graphic novel of all time, and we're currently watching
Steven Universe which - I just love that show so much. I'm co-hosting this
challenge with my friends Steph. She is not a BookTuber, she is a Bookstagrammer,
so I will have her link down below, and the bingo card will be on both
of our accounts, so it will be very easy to reference while you're trying to pick
out your TBR. I love Steph's Bookstagram account.
It's called ReadBooksLoveBooks, and I love the things that she posts.
I mean, I might be kind of biased because she does get some book recs from me, and when I see
that she's reading them I get super excited, but also she has a great
aesthetic, and I get a lot of book recs from her. Anyway Read Yo' Shelves is a
month-long read-a-thon taking place all throughout January where you are just
trying to read the books that are on your shelves. If you just do that, you are participating,
but for those of us who like some structure, we've also come up
with this lovely bingo board. Do not be daunted by this bingo board.
If you are the type of person that only reads a couple of books in a month, that's fine.
Try your best to get a line, if that's what you want to do, not to mention you
can definitely double up on these challenges. So you could use one book,
maybe, to fit five challenges in a row and you would still get a line, and you'd
still win. But what I've done is slightly destroyed my bookshelves to grab a crap ton
of books that are right next to me to give you some of the options that I
could use for every single one of the spots on the bingo board.
At some point, these are definitely gonna fall on me. It's just gonna happen.
The first square on the bingo board is Gift because, obviously, in January you might
have some gifts leftover from the holidays that you really want to get to.
One gift that just recently came in the mail from me was this one: The Abyss Beyond Dreams
by Peter F. Hamilton. I don't know anything about this because I like to go
one of my things without knowing too much, but I got this from a bookish pen pal,
so this could definitely be something I read as a gift. Or, I told my
mom that my favourite book this year was The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo and that
I've never read anything else by Taylor Jenkins Reid, so she just bought me, like,
basically everything else by Taylor Jenkins Reid for the holidays, so there you go.
The next spot is Most Recently Acquired,
and you could use this in a couple of different ways. Obviously, this could
double up with what you chose for a gift, because it could possibly be the most
recently acquired thing you have. Or, in my case, I actually have... this to open,
possibly from my Secret Santa. Or I could use this but I want to read it
sooner rather than later because the discussion for the book club that I'm
using this for it opens only 24th. This is from the Life's Library Book Club.
It's the first pick and I want to start reading it, but I'm currently reading
another book for another book club, so bibliophile problems. The next spot is a
Diverse read, and I've actually been holding onto this one since it was
published because I knew I'd be reading my shelves in January, and wanted to
include it in a video like this, and that's Alice Isn't Dead by Joseph Fink.
I've been super excited to get into this because I really like his writing and
this book is gorgeous, by the way. This naked hardback, and because the endpapers of
these books are always gorgeous... yeah, but that's as far as I've opened it so far
because I knew I'd be using it for at least one of the challenges for this.
The next challenge is Oldest book, and this one is open to interpretation. It could
be the oldest one published on your shelf, or it could be the oldest one
that's been on your shelf the longest. I honestly don't know which book has been
on my shelf the longest, and I think the oldest thing on my shelves that I
haven't read yet, like publication wise, is Canterbury Tales and I really, really
don't want to. I've tried to before, and it's just a nice edition I like to have there.
So I've got a couple of different options. I've had this one on my shelf
for quite a while, mostly because I won it in a Goodreads giveaway, but I was
away from home when I won it so I just never got around to reading it when I
got back. I was actually on a six-month trip and spent a significant portion of
my time sitting on Crete with nothing better to do than enter Goodreads giveaways.
As for a book on my shelf that is older in publication that I
haven't read, this one came out in 2003, so 15 years ago, and I picked this one up
at a big charity book sale because I have a friend who really likes the
writing of William Gibson but I haven't read any of the writing of William Gibson.
What I assume about this book based on the friend who really likes it
is it's going to be sci-fi or computer-related.
Of course it's at the bottom of the stack [sigh]. [groan] I'm so organized.
The next category is a Cover Buy and that was this book.
I literally know nothing about it but I think it was ten bucks at
Chapters and I liked the cover. The next challenge is Red Cover, or red on the cover.
This one definitely has a mostly red spine, and red on the cover. This one
is called Sight Reading, and if I remember correctly this is about a girl
who is in music school in Boston, which is a place I've been to, so I think I
probably picked it up because I was like, "oh I was just in Boston" or something like that.
Actually, while I was in Boston I was supposed to be staying in one of
the dorms in one of the music schools, and I booked it on, I think, booking.com,
and then about a month before my trip they were like, "well, actually those are
closed for renovations so you got to figure out somewhere else to stay," and
like, "I booked this in advance so that I wouldn't have to pay premium prices for
staying places; oh good god, why?" The next category is Bought New and there are a
few of them on this list that qualify, but this is just one of them. Again, you
can definitely double up and I can see one, two, three - at least three of these
are bought new, and then all of those Taylor Jenkins Reids were bought new, so I
have covered that this challenge as long as I read one of these books.
As for Bought Used, that's most of my shelf, but for this one I specifically just pulled
out Burial Rites by Hannah Kent. I believe this is about the last person in
I think Iceland to be executed, and I believe it was a woman. I mean, you would
be drawn to think so based on the cover alone. This was one of those books I
heard about on YouTube and one that sounds super fascinating. When I saw it
in a used book store I went, "yes, I will take that for a couple of bucks,"
but just haven't gotten to it because library obsession.
The next two squares I'm going to talk about together. They're Recommended by a
Friend and Part of a Series, and my friend recommended the Blue Blood series.
I've only read the first book so far, because I read it for Book Swapathon
earlier this year, and then when she was unhauling her books, she said "do you just want these?"
And I just went "sure" so they've literally been sitting on my
floor because I am out of shelf space. I should probably get to them.
These are heavy; I'm gonna put him down. But if I wanted to read other books from
a series, I could read the second in the Inkheart series, or I could read the
second in the Cormoran Strike series, because I have these books, also.
The next spot is own voices and this one is actually an ARC I picked up from a local
publisher, and this one is called This One Looks Like a Boy, so this is a
transgender memoir. It is out in March, so I'm excited to get to it, and let you
know how it is. Next is Fantastic Title, and actually the
title of this drew me over a year ago and then I just forgot to read it. One of
the biggest problems of just having, like, stacks of books in your house instead of
just, like, on nice bookshelves is it's very easy to lose things. Not necessarily
lose things, but lose track of things that you're really excited about.
Anyway, this had me at the title and then when I read the one-line synopsis, I went,
"yes, I need this in my life" and that is Space Opera. It's basically
Eurovision in space, guys. That's what I'm excited for. Next is a Free Space and I
don't know what's going to fulfill that, but literally anything I talk about could.
Next is a New to You Author, and there are a ton of authors just on these books
that I pulled off my shelves, not to mention these aren't the only ones that
I could use for this. And, of course, to balance out the New to You Author, we
also needed an Author You Love, and for me that is Alice Oseman. I am finally
going to read Solitaire. Radio Silence was one of my favourite reads of last year.
This year I read I Was Born for This, and I also read Heartstopper, and
the characters in Heartstopper, I believe, are background characters in
Solitaire which I'm here for. I'm so excited. I have no idea what this is
about except for I'm pretty sure it's not a love story. Next is a book
From a Book Box, and I am guilty of getting books in book boxes and then just not
reading them, thinking "oh that sounds really good" and then, again,
they get tucked away on a shelf and I haven't read them. So I believe this is
the one that I got in a book box last Winter, and this appears to be a
World War One historical fiction set in England. Next is a Popular Author and I
only know this author is popular because I shelf his books all the time at the
library, so I'm going to read The Number 1 Ladies Detective Agency by Alexander
McCall Smith. Also, I have to read it for my book club that is happening in
January so I was gonna get this on the list somehow. Also I really haven't
decided what I'm going to do in terms of audiobooks - if I'm going to actually listen
to some this month - because they... I don't own them. I would be getting them from
the library. But also, I could use that time to maybe catch up on all of the
podcasts that I've been ignoring since I realized you can get audiobooks from the
library for free. Have not decided. Next is a Graphic Novel, and this spot is on
there for all those people that collect them and forget to read them or those
people that have that one just sitting on their shelf and they're not a really
big graphic novel reader, or at least they don't think they are yet. I'm the
type of person that tends to read my graphic novels as soon as I get them, but
I never got around to reading the first volume of Rat Queens. I actually picked
us up at a book swap. I believe it was last December, at PodCon, and for
whatever reason it's just been relegated to that corner of my shelf that I
haven't noticed in a while. I feel so apologetic to all of these books.
That's what I'm spending most of this video doing. Next we have nonfiction, because
almost everybody who has a book problem will have a nonfiction book on their
shelf that they either never wanted to get to, or it's never been the right time
and they feel like they don't want to read nonfiction, or whatever. We all have
our own excuses. For me, one of those books is How to Be [a] Canadian by Will and Ian Ferguson.
I picked this one up mostly because it's probably gonna be funny, I'm
probably going to get a lot of the humour, and then also I know Ian. He lives in
town and I've worked for him before, volunteering for a long-form serial
improv that he runs, so I picked this up, haven't cracked the cover. Next is
Where'd I Get This? which I thought I was not going to have a book for, because I tend
to remember exactly where I've acquired books from, but I actually have no idea
where I picked up The Silkworm, so it can go on the list for now. There's probably
other books that I could probably be, like,
I can't tell you exactly which of the Times Colonist sales I bought this at, so [shrug, audible cracking sound].
My shoulder clicked so loud when I shrugged. Okay. The next two categories
are thrown in there to be easy spots to check off" paperback... hardcover. Done.
I've obviously also covered the spot for Contemporary, and for Sci-fi/Fantasy,
I think I'm actually going to pick a fantasy and go with Heartless because I
really liked the Lunar Chronicles series, but I haven't read this. I believe this
is about the Queen of Hearts but she doesn't really want to be a queen.
She would rather be a baker and it's kind of her backstory, and I'm here for it. And
the last category is to Create Your Own Categories, so for me I want to pick up
something that sounds outlandish but hopefully it will work out to be a
really cool premise, and for me that's Soulless, and why I gave it that preamble
is... just, just listen to this synopsis: "First of all, she has no soul. Second,
she's a spinster whose father is both Italian and dead. Third, she was brutally
attacked by a vampire, breaking all standards of social etiquette."
This sounds preposterous but amazing, and I want to read it. It is going to feel so
weird to not just keep picking up books to the library all throughout January.
I have so many things on my holds list that I'm going to have to suspend, and
wait until at least February to get to. That being said, though there are so many
books on this list that I am very excited to get to, so I'm not gonna get bored.
And there you have it! What books on your shelves are you very excited to
get to in January? Let me know down in the comments below. On the way down to
the comments, if you hit that Subscribe button, that would be very nice of you.
You can like and share this as you see fit, and I will see you very soon. Bye!

A Mistaken Belief of Love by ∴ ft. flower (English Subs) - Duration: 3:58.
A Mistaken Belief of Love
music: Niru Kajitsu
vocaloid: flower
movie: WOOMA
"Hey, what kind of love is this?"
An uncompleted question-and-answer session
Ash, swinging a shell
I'm always skimming when I read
Tonight, the gap in our bed
And the clothing torn from use
Don't seem like they can be sewn up in their condition,
And I'm going mad
Ah!
Everyone is already in a swamp of "it's nothing"
Deception, boasting
saying "I openly laughed at it"
I'm weak; without exception,
if you demand it,
I'll give you any prize you want
I just wanted to mistakenly believe that you loved me
That you loved me,
that you loved me
I just wanted to mistakenly believe that you loved me
I just wanted to mistakenly believe that you loved me
"Hey, this love is damaging"
"Don't you know how to accept love?"
Though I swung and missed at that sleeve,
Don't lecture me
Tonight, the gap in our bed
And the words I wetly coughed up
Seem like they can't be filled in
In place of that, I draw a breath
It's a depressing, hateful, meaningless Mayday
With your ego swelled by a feeling of omnipotence, don't drink for three straight days
Weak, without exception, if we just play peekaboo,
Then I'll kill you at our rendezvous
I just wanted to mistakenly believe that you loved me
That you loved me,
that you loved me
I just wanted to mistakenly believe that you loved me
I just wanted to mistakenly believe that you loved me
"Hey, do you still love me?"
The answer to this pantomime-like question
Is still smoldering beneath the surface
I'll always be suspicious about it
Tonight the anti-satisfactionist [1] sneers,
"You won't return to the gap in your bed or your clean and tidy little room."
Just about everything is drunk and unsteady
I'm not there, I'm not there–
"That's right!" you say, I'm the one who coughed up blood!
There's no mistake, you're no exception; hey, if I die,
I'll leave you my precuneus, my pennies, everything [2]
I just wanted to mistakenly believe that you loved me
That you loved me, that you loved me
Saying "I just wanted to mistakenly believe that you loved me,"
Our love was just me mistakenly wanting to believe

Autism Family Christmas: 15 Awesome Holiday Activities You Can Invite Your Child To Participate In - Duration: 12:11.
Hi I'm Dr. Andrea Libutti and today I want to talk about what you can do to
foster connection and tradition with your child with autism at the holidays
and this is really important because a lot of kids with autism seem very aloof
very uninterested in what's going on around them
well you if you take that opinion or you believe that to be true then you're
really missing out on an incredible opportunity to bond and and let your
child feel a part of something even if they don't seem like they're interested
and I'm gonna I'm gonna tell you why I know that my son is 14 years old and he
has much more language now than he ever did and for many years you know we would
go about our business putting the tree up decorating the lights you know
outside and all this stuff listening to holiday music and it wasn't until this
year that my son made it very clear to me that he loves the Christmas tree he
wants to see the decorations he wants to see the stockings hung he wants to
listen to Christmas music we get in the car and he puts the Christmas music on
and he sings to it too so had I not continued to just you know include him
and let him do whatever part he wanted in it because he you know maybe didn't
seem interested I would have lost a big opportunity and now I feel like you know
as my family's getting older we have these traditions that really bond us as
a family and it's such a beautiful thing the other thing I want to do here is
talk about 15 15 awesome ideas to fill facilitate that connection so I am gonna
start with number one so these are activities decorate the tree okay that
seems sort of straightforward whatever your child wants to participate does he
want to put ornaments on does he want to help with the lights does he just want
to turn the lights on does he want to put the star on on top of the tree if
you include your child and I've seen this with my youngest son and my oldest
son that you know I had no idea how important it was to them until I did
some things on my own and they were really upset that I didn't
include them so again include them in the process in whatever little way or
big way they want to be included number two
decorate your house right give some of the responsibility to your child with
autism maybe it's just hanging the stockings maybe it is hanging the wreath
on the door we have a snow globe tradition we take all the snow globes
out and we put them on the mantle I love snow globes and my son loves to just
shake them up and put them out there that's just sort of what we do all right
so that's number two number three how about getting an advent calendar those
are really fun I have one that's wooden you open it up and I put little
Christmas tree ornaments in there and they open it every morning and then they
take the little tabletop tree and they put the little ornaments on the tabletop
tree and I've been doing that since they were very very little and now they look
forward to it they expect it and again it's just a bonding thing that I can do
with my kids as a family and my son with autism even though you wouldn't think it
from appearances loves all of it number four holiday music okay in the
car sitting by the fire play the holiday music engage your engage your child with
it ask them to you know pick their favorite songs or you know sing with
them holiday and music is really good for two reasons for kids with autism
especially number one a lot of them really enjoy music it's very soothing
it's true for all of us right and number two it's just another way for them to
feel like they have some input into the environment if they get to choose the
Christmas songs or the holiday songs that they like alright
idea number five okay five watch holiday shows now these things may seem sort of
like okay we do all these things anyway I say them in this context because if
you include your child with autism no matter how verbal or nonverbal they are
and you give them choices you'll see that they are a part of something a part
of the family a part of the holiday season the other night my son came to me
and said it's a holiday movie night and he said
what movie will we watch and I said well we could watch Rudolph the red-nosed
reindeer or the Polar Express and he chose the Polar Express so it's just
again another bonding connecting thing you can do ice that was number five
Number six number six shopped for toys together and then donate the toys wrap
them or depending on where you're dropping them off you know make this a
potential new tradition you're going out to the store you can ask your child to
pick out some toys for other boys or girls that are not as fortunate and then
you can go through the process of having him or her drop them off to a donation
center number seven you can do the same thing with food okay shop for food get
some stuff together for the pantries and have your child help pickup out some
foods that maybe he or she likes and then go bring them to the food pantry
again another tradition that is really fun and and good on so many levels all
right number eight maybe you start a food drive or a toy drive with your
child at their school we did this once with a you know soldiers oversea get
some supplies together and it was really great fun and all my kids got involved
and we felt really good about it and we did something good for people so
that is something that your kids will remember and again you're creating
something more than just the you know I want I want I want presents you're
helping other people so it's really warm fuzzy feeling when you do it with your
kids number nine baked cookies okay your child with autism may or may not want to
do this you can make them they could be the cookie tasters or maybe they just
want to decorate maybe they just want to put some sprinkles on or some frosting
or maybe they just want to be the tasters but baking cookies with
especially with some holiday music playing is a fun thing to do as a family
that your child can really appreciate again even if they don't seem like
they're appreciating it on the outside alright number ten this is my
absolute favorite and it is something that I just started doing last week and
that is go for a walk on the beach and sing Christmas songs no music or
anything just your own versions of Christmas songs with your kids now it
doesn't have to be the beach obviously if you're not near the beach but we went
to the beach freezing cold bundled up and we just walked along the beach and
we just started singing it was just like a natural thing to do and we had so much
fun and what was really really awesome is when we got home my son with autism
who wasn't singing with us at the beach I was singing and then my other sons
were singing but when we got home she started singing Christmas songs and it
was just really cool so you know that they are connecting and enjoying what
you're doing when things like that happen alright number eleven make up
your own new tradition now I saw something the other day for the first
time and that was Christmas tree lights on a Jeep decorated to the nines like
there were so many colors and it was just so beautiful I've never seen a car
decorated like that maybe your kid really likes lights I know my son was
thrilled with that Jeep we all were it was just such a beautiful thing or maybe
you do something more simple like just sticking the antlers on the windows
something just you know ask your child see what they they want to do they'll
let you know and you know just again fun holiday things that you can do together
alright number 12 okay this one is I think really special
and sort of old-fashioned but caroling you know getting a group of people
together and going door-to-door and caroling in your neighborhood I've done
that a few times and it is really really fun you know I think about
trick-or-treating my son with autism isn't into candy believe it or not but
we go trick-or-treating with the kids he he gets a costume on and he enjoys going
around and and having the experience so I think caroling even if they're not
participating per se with singing can be another fun thing that you can do that
can feel like a new tradition unless you're already doing it
you don't necessarily have to just Carol in the neighborhood you can go to a
nursing home you can go to a place and spread cheer that way all right number
13 go to a nursing home bring some cookies or bring some ornaments you know
spread some cheer so the ornaments can be something that maybe the residents
can hang on their door on their doorknobs you can make them yourself
they don't have to be ornate or you know really complicated just a good deed you
know sharing with your child a good deed and spreading some cheer at a nursing
home I think that's a really good idea all right number 14 and this is a really
fun one especially if your child likes pictures make a holiday card together
you know a lot of us are doing holiday cards now with pictures of our kids have
your child take the picture or have your child pick the picture or if you don't
want to do pictures have them you know put the cards in the envelopes or put
the stamps on or just do one tiny piece of it maybe put the envelopes into the
mailbox whatever your child is willing to do
make it a fun event and include them all right number 15 last one for now make
some ornaments together there are so many easy crafts and and more elaborate
crafts you can you can do whether you buy a little craft kits together or you
make up your own that's just a really fun thing to do and it's you know again
it's including your child and it's quality time that you're spending with
your child so anyway the takeaway that I want you to understand the reason I'm
doing this video is the importance of including your child no matter how much
your child doesn't seem interested now I am NOT suggesting if your child is not
interested and says no no no doesn't want to do it that you force them
absolutely not but I can tell you this from experience my son is very adverse
to doing new things but when I've gently prodded and said oh come on just put one
ornament on or just do this like one little
you ease them into it it becomes a thing that they want to do that he wants to do
sometimes you have to help them step out of their comfort zone because what I've
heard from so many autistic adults and teenagers is they want to belong they
want to be included but maybe they just are socially awkward and they don't know
how so you as parents can really do a lot of good because there's so many
activities around the holiday seasons that are perfect for togetherness and
connection that can help you facilitate that so I hope you really enjoyed this
if you would like to do two things for me: (1) put some comments tell me about
your favorite holiday traditions things that have worked I'd love to hear about
it (2) if you want to download click on the link below you can download
the link to get a free copy of the PDF of all the 15 items the awesome ideas to
facilitate connection so you guys can have it in in an easy downloadable form
thank you for listening I appreciate it I'm glad you're here
we're here to change what the world believes about autism to make our lives
and their lives better. Have a great holiday!

Twitter explodes up with memes mocking Trump over his latest claim - Daily News - Duration: 4:57.
The president's numerous critics got an early Christmas president on Friday in the from of a tweet in which Donald Trump bragged that he knew 'tech better than anybody
' The rest of the pre-dawn tweet talked about the need to construct a wall on America's southern border with Mexico, which the president said Democrats have been unfairly portraying as an old-fashioned idea
'The Democrats are trying to belittle the concept of a Wall, calling it old fashioned
The fact is there is nothing else's that will work, and that has been true for thousands of years
It's like the wheel, there is nothing better. I know tech better than anyone, & technology,' Trump tweeted
He went on: '.on a Border is only effective in conjunction with a Wall. Properly designed and built Walls work, and the Democrats are lying when they say they don't
In Israel the Wall is 99.9% successful. Will not be any different on our Southern Border! Hundreds of $Billions saved!'Twitter wits almost instantly seized upon the president's boast, ridiculing the notion that Trump, who once declared himself a 'very stable genius,' has now proclaimed himself an expert in all matters of technology
Some Twitter users reacted to the boastful proclamation in mock disbelief, with one joking that the tweet must have originated from a 'parody account
'Another quipped that Trump makes such dubious claims about himself to make the job easier for late-night comics Seth Meyers and Stephen Colbert
Share this article Share Others pointed out that Trump has been known to misspell words and bungle the grammar in many of his tweets, even though his iPhone is equipped with the autocorrect function
A tweet stated: 'Ludicrous. You can't program a VCR, close an umbrella, explain what a stealth plane is, or use autocorrect successfully
Kudos to whoever got you to start using "tech" instead of "cyber", though. Good luck teaching him that walls won't do a single positive thing for our country
' Multiple wags fired off derisive messages and memes poking fun at the time the president was unable to close his umbrella before boarding Air Force One, and instead dropped it on the floor
'You sure think highly of yourself for someone who can't properly use an umbrella,' one barbed comment read
Several commenters re-shared a popular meme of the 72-year-old commander-in-chief ascending the stairs leading up to the presidential plane with what looked like a piece of toilet paper stuck to the sole of his shoe
Several people took issue with the premise of Trump's argument touting the benefits of building a wall by pointing out that there are multiple famous examples from history where walls failed to stop the invasion of countries, including China, the Roman Empire and France
'Walls and fortifications work? Tell that to Khrushchev, Hadrian, Qin Shi Huang, Andre Maginot and others,' one user mockingly stated
'I'm sure they would have a good laugh at your expense.'Another chimed in: 'The communist government of E Germany begins building the Berlin Wall to divide E and W Berlin
Construction of the wall caused a short-term crisis in U.S.-Soviet bloc relations, and the wall itself came to symbolize the Cold War
History repeats itself??? Proven it DOESN'T work.' Continuing in the same vein, a critic quipped: 'The Great Wall of China is more than 14,000 miles long

Mum of Brit children stranded in New Zealand after horror car crash breaks silence - Duration: 4:40.
A mum, whose two children were left stranded in New Zealand after a horror crash killed their other mum, has spoken from her hospital bed.
Ben and Olivia Sargent, six and nine, were on a dream family holiday with their mums Kerry and Jules Sargent when the tragedy occurred.
The trip turned into a nightmare on a night out for dinner with friends when Kerry, from Gloucester, was killed in a head-on collision near Whangarei.
The children's other mum, Jules Sargent, was rushed to hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries, some of which it is expected will take her years to recover from.
Speaking from her hospital in New Zealand, Jules told the Mail Online: "The children have been through such a traumatic experience as they were initially stuck in the car whilst it was on its roof and had to be rescued by friends smashing the windows to get them out."

"It was a terrifying experience for everyone but Ben and Olivia have shown so much courage throughout this whole situation.
"Ben said he can't think about the good times before the accident all he can remember is the accident."
Currently the 49-year-old is too unwell to travel, leaving her and their two children spending their Christmas in the city of Whangarei in North Island of New Zealand, north of the capital.
Although they were not seriously injured, they have been traumatised and deeply scarred by the incident.
Both he and his sister are being cared for by friends but a GoFundMe page has been set up in a bid to raise £10,000 and help them create some "magical moments that they can all look forward to".
It is hoped these will "provide light during the darker times".

Family friend Alan York said: "Currently, Jules is recuperating in New Zealand with the friends she went out to visit and will need a substantial period of recovery before the family can return to England.
"Until then, Ben and Olivia have been schooled in New Zealand while Jules undergoes physiotherapy before the doctors can assess whether she is fit enough to take the children on their long journey home."
In the crash, Jules broke her ribs, right leg and two vertebra, and her toes were dislocated
Her left arm was also injured and she has an open wound to her left hip area which also fractured part of the hip bone.
She has been told the injury to her left arm could take up to two years to recover from.
