Mom: I think I'll open that gorgeous one

with the polka dots.

[Mallory laughs]

10 Bike Hacks for Mountain Bikers and Beyond - Duration: 7:12.

Washing your bike is a key part of keeping it running smoothly, but using the wrong soap

can dull the finish.

I didn't even know this until recently.

So, use car wash soap.

It's really easy to obtain and generally less expensive than than the stuff marketed

for bikes.

With the right brushes, you don't need much soap to clean your bike anyway.

A few months ago I crashed into a tree in Arkansas and damaged the handlebars on my

hardtail.

Today, we're gonna replace them, but first we need to cut the new ones to size.

When cutting carbon, use a spray bottle filled with water to prevent dust from getting in

the air.

Carbon dust is really bad for your lungs, so this is actually a safety hack.

A rarity.

Thanks to Calvin and Truman from park tool for this one.

What do you do with a broken carbon bar?

Make a disc brake truing tool.

Take a straight piece of straight carbon bar, and cut a notch an inch down the center.

Use your spray bottle, and make sure to get rid of any sharp edges or splinters.

You can add a bar end, grip, or tape handle to protect your hand from the end.

If you have a slight bend in your disc brake you can tweak it back into place without the

risk of marring it up.

Magnetic dishes are great shop tools, but so are these super strong neodymium magnets.

Mount one on your repair stand or wherever you work on your bike.

This way, you have a quick and easy bolt holder when you need it.

When changing bars or doing anything stem related I find this particularly useful.

On the end of a shifter cable you'll find this little nub, which keeps it retained inside

the shifter.

If you're in a dire situation where you need to make due without one, you can tie

a knot at the end.

You'll definitely need pliers to get it tight enough, and it may take some finagling,

but it's better than nothing.

If you don't have a new shifter cable but somehow do have a soldering iron, you can

fray the end slightly and add a nub just as good as the original.

At home supply stores you'll find these equipment ties which are essentially rubber

coated bendy rods.

These are great if you need to keep your bars from moving while performing a repair.

For headset and stem related repairs, you can wrap a tie under your fork to keep it

from dropping out of the bike.

Since these ties are rubber coated, they're probably good for any application where you

need to hold a bike in position.

Recently I tried using electrical tape to neaten up my cables, and it actually didn't

turn out too bad.

But mountain bikers with true OCD, use heat shrink tubing.

You can get half inch tubing online or even at harbor freight.

I'm measuring it against my cables and cutting it to size first, then unhooking everything.

I even needed to put a new end on my disc hose to get the connecting bolt through the

tubing.

Once you have everything in place, use a heat gun or hair dryer to evenly and slowly shrink

the tubing.

Take your time, it's not worth melting something.

Once it's finished, you can stare at it for the rest of the day.

You can do a lever bleed on shimano disc brakes using only this little funnel, and actually

you can do the same with many other brands with varying degrees of effectiveness.

But in a pinch you can do it without the funnel, it just takes longer.

Use the opening under bleed screw as a mini funnel, and take your time.

You can keep an emergency supply of fluid in an eye dropper if you want to keep it on

your person.

And yes, this is the wrong fluid for Shimano.

If that makes you cringe you're really gonna hate this next one.

Johnson's baby oil.

I had no idea babies needed to be oiled, but this is available at any drug store.

The main ingredient is mineral oil, so in a pinch you could use it to bleed mineral

oil brakes—maybe.

I've read a lot of arguments about whether or not this is okay to use, and although I've

found no record of it causing damage, there's a lot of skepticism.

So I can't officially give it the thumbs up until I try myself.

So, for one year we'll run it in the rear brake of my fat bike, and then do a full autopsy

on it.

My guess is that it only voids your warranty and makes your brakes smell like diaper.

You should check out this video where the shredist, shows how to make a kydex frame

guard.

Since seeing that video I've been really interested in using this stuff, but my bikes

already have factory downtube and chainstay protection.

So, we'll make a tail guard for my electric skateboard.

Kydex can be cut and manipulated just like abs plastic, and it's sold in various thicknesses.

When you heat it up, it becomes malleable and conforms to whatever shape you want.

It wasn't supposed to come out that good.

And it seems to work.

More Foods Found To Contain Monsanto's Roundup Poison - Duration: 9:13.

Every few weeks over the last couple months, we found out more and more about Monsanto's

glyphosate, which is found in their blockbuster weed killer Roundup.

First and foremost, we know that the World Health Organization classifies this as a probable

human carcinogen and we also know that food companies here in the United States are pouring

this all over our crops at an alarming rate.

Well, those food products made from those crops are now being found to contain glyphosate.

And I'm joined now by Scott Hardy from topclassactions.com to give us the latest on the new round of

foods that have been found to contain Monsanto's Roundup.

Scott right now, and you and I have spoken in the past, we've talked about cereals and

beers and wines and all kinds of things that have glyphosate, and now, uh, there's a new

class action out there against Kellogg's because in some of their Nutri-Grain bars, their breakfast

bars.

The oats, wheat, barley, whatever it is in those, they've been found to contain glyphosate,

which again is a probable human carcinogen according to the World Health Organization

as well as pretty much every independent body that has looked into this.

So this is a pretty massive problem, isn't it?

Yeah, it is.

It's interesting when you take a look at things, and roundup is used all over the world and

it's sprayed on so many different crops that we shouldn't be surprised that we're seeing

glyphosate be leaked into our food supply and onto our breakfast cereals.

And in this case, breakfast bars and protein bars that both, you know, families and kids

are eating.

I know that right now the Roundup lawsuits for farmers that are getting sick by being

around glyphosate and Roundup or other workers, a lot of those lawsuits may actually be wrapping

up soon and we're seeing an increase in lawsuits for everything else that Roundup and glyphosate

may be impacting, including in this case, the incredibly yummy Kellogg's Nutri-Grain

bars.

I use to eat these a lot because I don't have a lot of time for breakfast and I'm always,

especially now with the kids, it's all about getting ready, getting out the door and taking

those kids to school.

And so my kids used to eat Nutri-Grain bars when they were smaller and you know, it's

just an easy snack to give and it's really disconcerting when you go through this lawsuit.

And one of the concerns that the lawyers mentioned is that, you know, parents like myself give

their kids a Nutri-Grain bar thinking it's healthy, thinking that it's grains and some

fruit, give them some energy as they start their day and go through school.

When you have these smaller human beings that would be much more susceptible to potential

glyphosate carcinogens and having get poisoned, you know, possibly by ingesting Roundup through

what you would think would be a very innocuous thing.

A Kellogg's Nutri-Grain bar.

And you know, these things had been marketed ever since they were conceived as the quick,

healthier alternative for people on the go.

For kids on the go.

Rather than having the kids go and grab a doughnut, you know, super sugary, fattening

donut, have one of these super healthy good for you.

It's got oats and grains and barley and fruit and all of this healthy stuff.

This is such a better alternative than that doughnut.

Well, they didn't tell us, maybe they didn't know at the time.

Maybe it wasn't there at the time, but at least now studies are showing that this thing

is packed full of Monsanto's cancer causing poison, which is a much more appropriate term

for that then herbicide because that's what it is.

You know, independent studies have shown for decades at this point that glyphosate in Roundup

absolutely is linked to cancer.

It's linked to, you know, all kinds of defects in young children and unborn children.

Can harm reproductive systems in both men and women.

I mean, this stuff is absolutely toxic.

It is a poison.

And it's being found in more and more foods.

As I pointed out earlier, every few weeks we're getting a new list of foods that, uh

oh, we found glyphosate in these.

I mean to me, you know, you talked about the lawsuits of the workers, the industrial folks

who've been poisoned by this.

Those lawsuits could be wrapping up here in the near future and then Monsanto is going

to get hit with, in my opinion, the bigger ones because the bigger ones are going to

come from these food companies.

Because people and even the food companies themselves use this maybe without knowing,

maybe because Monsanto told them it was safe to use.

So you know, to a degree, I'm willing to say most people in this country right now, if

you were to test them, test their bodies, tests their blood, test their urine, you're

going to find glyphosate.

You're going to find it, you're going to find it.

Right.

Because we dumped this stuff by the barrel full onto our crops and something I just learned

at topclassactions.com a few minutes before you and I were talking, is that what they

do sometimes is they actually lay out the grains, the wheat, oats, barley, they'll lay

it out after it's been harvested and then spray it with Roundup again to help dry it

out.

So not only is it on the product throughout the growing process, getting inside the cells

of the plant itself, they then go ahead and give it another dose of it just to dry it

out a little faster so they can, you know, turn and burn, make that profit.

This is sickening because we're, we're getting, you know, even more poison than we originally

had thought at this point.

Yeah.

When you take a look at it and we see that 250 million pounds per year of Roundup are

used on crops.

On everything from wheat, barley, oats.

This is all in the Top Class Actions article were to, as you mentioned, people are going

to be ingesting this stuff.

It's going to be on so many from products.

We saw might be on Quaker Oats.

Now we know it might be in Kellogg's Nutri-Grain bars.

As we dig deeper and deeper, we're going to see and find out that as you said, glyphosate

might be something that might be in every single American for the most part right now,

even though it's a possible carcinogen and no one's declaring it, no one's telling us

that, oh, by the way, this yummy breakfast bar also has a possible cancer causing ingredients.

Oops, sorry.

So what are the longterm effects going to be for that?

And that's why I'm happy that we have these lawyers going after these companies to have

them call out whenever they find a possible carcinogen within the food that people are

ingesting.

Yeah, I want to know about it.

I don't want to make sure I'm not giving it to my kids and let's make sure that whenever

possible the food manufacturers are not using it and if they are that they're declaring

it so we know exactly what we're putting in our bodies.

Exactly, and that's where the liability for these food companies could come in.

Because as I previously mentioned, you know, the food companies themselves may have a good

case against Monsanto as well if they want to go that route in terms of legal action.

In fact, I think some of them have already considered that, may be working on it at the

moment, which is all well and good.

Monsanto should absolutely be held accountable for these food companies using the product.

However, these food company products at this point also know whether or not they are using

it and so now liability shifts to them as well because they have a responsibility to

let us know that this could be in their products.

So we've got a little bit of a double liability here.

Obviously the big head Honcho here is Monsanto.

They duped food companies for a little bit, so they've got a suit against them, but then

the food companies failed to inform the public that this was in their product.

If you ask me, there needs to be a big rubber stamp on the front of every box of food, package

of food, whatever it is, to let us know if these products were sprayed with Roundup or

not.

Because I guarantee you there's nobody in this country that wants to eat something that

could give them cancer or choose the identical product that could not give them cancer.

We need to have that choice and the only way to do that is through proper labeling at this

point.

Yes, absolutely.

With 250 million pounds of it used a year, as you said, it's on almost everything that

we're going to ingest that's grown on a farm.

Classic Kate WINS The Christmas Day Style War with 1940s As Modern Meghan Supports Victoria Beckham - Duration: 6:54.

Royal fans were treated to a double helping of Duchess this morning as Kate and Meghan

arrived together at Sandringham for the Christmas Day service - each sporting extremely different

appeared to have put their reported differences aside as they strode toward the church with

However, their choice of outfit could not have been further apart with Kate going for

An ever-stylish Kate cut a classic figure in a red custom made Catherine Walker dress

coat with a burgundy collar and matching hat, teamed with gold accessories, gloves and a

a forties era style.

Recently the Duchess has appeared in A-line coats, shouldered jackets and mid-length skirts

as she leads the pack for Royal fashion.

The Duchess who came in on Prince Harry's arm chose to go chic in dark colours and high

heeled black boots.

Prince William, 36, and Harry, 34, joined their wives and the rest of the Royal Family

as they put on a united front amid rumours of a 'rift' and mounting tensions between

the two couples.

It was confirmed earlier this month that the 'Fab Four' were going to spend Christmas Day

together despite claims of a falling out.

It began after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced they were moving out of Kensington

Palace to live in Frogmore House in Windsor.

Prince William's wife Kate, 36, has been bringing back A-line skirts and coats, large collars

and tiny waistlines once more, inspiring the fashion world.

Kate, a mother-of-three, arrived at St Mary Magdalene Church on The Queen's Sandringham

Estate on Christmas Day in a red coat with burgundy trim, matching gloves, a hat and

a Mulberry clutch, once again topping the Royal best dressed list.

She also sported a £650 felt burgundy 'halo' headband with a black felt bow by milliner

Jane Taylor.

Her custom coat by Catherine Walker, estimated to be worth around £3,000, was reminiscent

of her recent period fashion taste, seen frequently as she represents the royals.

The coats by the designer label are a staple in Catherine's wardrobe - and were once a

favourite of her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana.

Founded in 1977 by the late Catherine Walker and her husband Said Cyrus, the designs have

begun to shape the royal family's wardrobe.

According to reports, Princess Diana was introduced to the label by Vogue House, rocketing the

small British couture brand onto the royal radar.

And Kate has continued the tradition being spotted in the jackets at Armistice events,

a St Patrick's Day parade and at a memorial after the helicopter crash in Leicester.

She wore a grey version as she laid flowers in Leicester and a green version at a St Patrick's

Day parade in Hounslow.

At Sandringham, the Duchess teamed the long jacket with red Gianvito Rossi heels.

Her 1940's and 50s style was also showcased earlier this month at the Kensington Palace

Christmas party when she wore an Emilia Wickstead green and red tartan skirt.

Her classic look appears to be channeling from style icons like Katharine Hepburn and

Ginger Rogers with defined shoulders and large collars.

The Duchess of Cambridge and the Duchess of Sussex were smiling as they walked in together

with their prince husbands on Christmas Day.

They are currently at the centre of rumours over a feud between the pair

Welcome to my channel!

So, I am starting a hair channel I can't believe this is happening.

I've thought about it for a long time and now it is happening, and I'm so excited and

thankful for you to join me!

So now I've been natural for most of my life.

I actually had a perm when I was a little kid.

It didn't do very well in my hair and my mom, I believe, transitioned us back to natural,

because me and my sister's also got perms.

All of us got perms.

But in a later video, I will probably talk more in-depth about my hair journey and what

it came from being in a perm to now.

However, I treated my hair badly because I was kind of ashamed of it.

I love afros, they're my favorite hairstyle, but I grew ashamed of my hair because people

said it wasn't professional and all these other things that a lot of you probably experienced

as well.

So. in 2014, I decided I am going to take the best care of my hair and I'm going to

learn how to work it and how to deal with it and all these things like that.

And I'm going to embrace my own hair.

And so that brings up the title of my channel, My Ancestor's Hair.

I believe that our hair is a gift from our ancestors.

It's just one of the many gifts that we have from those that came before us.

and so or me I want to embrace my natural hair, embrace this gift that was given to

me, and not listen to societies norms of what is good hair and what is bad hair.

My hair is good, and I'm gonna love it!

So 2015 is when I decided, I am going to take the greatest care of my hair.

2014 was when I actually decided it, but 2015 is when I put it into action, and that was

the beginning of 2015.

So this is what my hair looked like at the beginning of 2015, and also what my hair looked

like at 2018, so that's now.

2019 is coming up.

That's now.

So without further ado, I really hope that you will join me on this journey with natural

hair.

Indeed, we have traversed a very long road together, and accumulated a great deal of valuable experience during this time. You and your colleagues have shaped and continue developing our legislation and consolidating Russia's legal system generally.

It is enough to say that over 8,000 laws have been adopted in the past quarter of a century. Understandably, the number of legislative acts is not the main indicator. What is much more important is their quality and systemic character, and concordance with public expectations and vital demands, as well as the fundamental tasks of national development.

The past year has shown that these priorities and understanding of national interests form the foundation of your work and serve as a guide for the efforts – despite the differences in views – of all parliamentary parties and regional lawmakers. This ensures constructive cooperation between all branches of power.

I would like to thank you for your support and meticulous work on the key decisions of this year, including the initiatives set out in the Address to the Federal Assembly and the May Executive Order, the funding for which has already been included into the new federal law on the budget.

Now it is very important to achieve success in implementing every national project, to move swiftly and confidently and to reach all of the set goals so that our people could feel the real positive results, the practical results of our joint work already in the upcoming year.

In this context I would like to ask you to pay special attention to the people on the ground, and to be in constant contact with your voters. In fact, this is exactly what you are doing.

It is necessary to step up open and practical work with public associations, trade unions and the business community. You should initiate an independent civil expertise of all legislative acts and draft laws that are being studied by the Federal Assembly, and keep in close contact with your colleagues in the regions, in particular, by actively using the potentialities of the Council of Legislators.

Today, regional work is extremely important and I have talked about this in public many times, as, I am sure, you know. The huge resources that we channel into the implementation of national projects will be used for the most part at the regional level. Therefore, coordination and joint work must be smooth.

We will be faced with ambitious tasks next year and much will depend on the professional, responsible work of the legislative and representative branches of power. I am hoping for the further continuation of our joint work.

Naturally, I would like to use this opportunity to wish all of you a happy New Year.

about a wonderful person named Mandy Harvey.

Mandy Harvey was on "The Voice"

and what was unique about her was that she is Deaf!

She lost her hearing when she was eighteen or nineteen

and from then she had kinda given up her, her future in music-

she had been going to school to study music-

Well, she got back into music because of her amazing supportive friends and family

and ended up just being A-MAZ-ING at "The Voice"

You heard that right:

a Deaf girl got to go on to the next round after auditions

for "The Voice"!

She has the voice of an angel!

Which I just, I cannot even begin to describe it!

She played barefoot so uh so that she can feel the vibrations of her bandmates

She learned sign language

And

What's so amazing is now she speaks uh to people about loss uh, speaks to people about her passion for music

and

one of the coolest things, in addition to touring and doing all that

is Kala, the company that made my ukulele,

made -her- a ukulele!

so,

I was gifted that ukulele by some very dear friends of mine

and, I am honored and I am flabbergasted and I am excited to actually get to do this!

SO, already I'm annoyed with my Kala Klipz Chromatic Tuner

Because

It did not come complete with a battery!

There's a space for one!

But its not in here!

When you do get a Ukulele out of the box, it generally does need to be tuned.

A few times...

Uh, usually until the strings settle, um, you will have to tune it unnnnnn a lot.

So, I'm pretty much expecting this to be in and out of tune for a while.

But, ((Strums- a bit out of tune))

Its already out of tune

((Plays out of tune open strings))

I just tuned it three times! Hold on...

Ok...

Let's see if fourth time's the charm!

(strums in key- Chord progression of Stand By Me!)

Not bad! Not bad- I can't wait to work a little bit more with it!

So yeah! That is the new ukulele!

um, so, I'm going to try to play a few more things with it!

Look at how tiny this one is compared to this Behemoth!!

((Sighs happily)) I will also say, this one is also plastic, this one is actually wood.

Norman Reedus shares first photo of his and Diane Kruger's daughter: 'A lot to be thankful for' - Duration: 2:38.

 Norman Reedus is celebrating his first Christmas with his newborn daughter!  The Walking Dead star, 49, shared the first photo of his baby girl on Instagram Monday, weeks after he and girlfriend Diane Kruger welcomed their first child together in November

 "A lot to be thankful for this year. this one especially," Reedus captioned a photo of him and his little one holding hands

 "Love u Diane Mingus Helena. Happy family ," the actor added, shouting out Kruger, 19-year-old son Mingus and his ex Helena Christensen, who is Mingus' mom

 The name of Reedus and Kruger's daughter has yet to be revealed.  Two weeks before the photo debut of their daughter, Kruger opened up about motherhood and raising a girl

 "She's very little, but I'm tired. I feel like a superhero right now," the actress told Extra

   Calling motherhood a "very rewarding experience" thus far, Kruger — who rocks a turquoise 'do in her new flick — said it would be an "easy yes" if her daughter ever requested to dye her own hair a fun color

"Go for it — I wish my mom would have allowed me to do that," she revealed.  Kruger and Reedus met while filming the 2015 movie Sky, in which her character embarks on a journey of self-discovery after leaving her husband and getting involved with Reedus' character

They promoted the film together at the Toronto International Film Festival before going public with their romance in March 2017

 PEOPLE confirmed the arrival of the couple's baby in early November, months after multiple sources confirmed the pregnancy in May
