Feathered Reptiles Ruled Earth's Skies... Twice! | SciShow News - Duration: 6:45.

[♪ INTRO]

Today, the last living lineage of dinosaurs, the birds, are masters of flight.

But 200 million years ago or so, giant reptiles called pterosaurs ruled the skies.

And a new study suggests flight wasn't the only trait they shared with modern birds.

Just this week, paleontologists published evidence of what they say are feathers from

pterosaur fossils, pushing back the origin of feathers some 70 million years,

and suggesting that all dinosaurs may have had some kind of feathers.

A slew of well-preserved fossils with simple feathers in the late 1990s

cemented the idea that birds are dinosaurs, and that some dinosaurs sported plumage.

Since then, paleontologists have been trying to figure out when feathers first evolved.

The most recent evidence pointed to the first feathers occuring on the common ancestor of

ornithischian dinosaurs, the group that contains Triceratops and Stegosaurus, and the coelurosaurs,

the group of dinosaurs which includes the ancestor of today's birds.

And that would mean those first feathers likely emerged somewhere around 150 to 180 million years ago.

But these new findings, described in the journal Nature Ecology and Evolution, suggests they

evolved much earlier, like 230 to 250 million years ago, because that is about when the

pterosaurs split off from the rest of their reptilian kin.

Now, it's been known for some time that pterosaurs were somewhat fuzzy.

Fossils have suggested they were covered in pycnofibers, a kind of, like, single-filament

fluff that looks a bit like mammalian hair.

But until this point, pycnofibers hadn't been considered true feathers because they

didn't branch at all and didn't look much the quills from dinosaurs.

In fact, scientists weren't really sure what they were at all,

which is why they gave them a totally different name.

In this latest paper, the researchers literally put two pterosaur specimens from China under

the microscope; they found four different forms of pycnofibers.

These included little bundles of fibers that branch from the base, making them look a lot

like down feathers, and larger, unbranched 'bristles' that are similar to feathers

found on dinosaurs and modern birds.

Paleontologists still aren't sure of the exact function of these so-called feathers,

but most likely, they were used for insulation.

Pterosaurs were active fliers and had to keep their muscles warm enough to power that flight.

It's also possible they streamlined the animal's bodies, making them more aerodynamic,

or that those bristles, which were found near the pterosaurs' mouths, may have helped

their sense of touch while flying or when handling prey, kind of like whiskers on a cat.

Whatever the function, if these pycnofibers are truly feathers, then the origin of feathers

happened a lot further back than paleontologists thought.

The authors of this paper think they first appeared in an ancient ancestor of both pterosaurs and dinosaurs.

And that would mean even non-bird-like dinosaurs might have had quills or modified feathers,

or the genes to make them, anyway.

Like how pigs and whales technically have hair, even though they aren't, like, fuzzy.

But other scientists have criticized this research, saying that it's more likely that

pterosaurs independently evolved, like, a neat skin covering that helped them keep warm.

Some even doubt that the pycnofibers are for warmth.

Instead of being feather or fur-like, the fibers could have strengthened their wings somehow.

So this paper has started a pretty heated discussion in the paleontology community,

and let me tell you, the paleontology community can have some heated discussions.

And this is one that isn't gonna cool down until a lot more fossils are found and examined.

In other dinosaur related news, scientists now believe that armored ankylosaurs used

their elaborate nasal passages to regulate their body temperature.

Ankylosaurs are probably better known for their club-like tails than their fancy noses,

but that didn't stop scientists from wondering what those pipes were for.

Mammals use convoluted nasal passages called turbinates as a kind of air conditioner, warming

and humidifying air when it's breathed in and cooling and drying air when it's breathed out.

Because ankylosaurs had a single long, bendy tube, rather than the many winding passages

of turbinates, paleontologists thought they might use them for vocalizations instead.

In this latest paper published in PLoS One, they put the heat exchange hypothesis to the test

by making 3D digital reconstructions of the fossilized nasal passages from two ankylosaur species.

Then, they computer modelled how air moved through their noses and what happened to heat along the way.

What they found was that all those twists and turns likely recovered a lot of heat from

the air when the animals exhaled which could then be used to warm the next breath coming in.

And ultimately, their noses would use 65 to 84 percent less energy, which is pretty similar

to the energy mammals save with their turbinates.

When the researchers digitally straightened out the ankylosaur nasal passages, the energy

savings were gone, telling them that the twists and turns were important.

As well as heating air coming in to the lungs, the long, twisted passages could also shed

excess body heat from the dinosaurs' brains.

Because, you know, it's important to keep a cool head when you're roaming around in the Cretaceous.

While it is difficult to be certain of all of this without, like, a live ankylosaur in

the lab, these simulations get scientists pretty close to understanding the ecology

of these armoured creatures.

Similar, twisted nasal passages have also been seen in other big dinosaurs like sauropods,

making scientists question which came first, big bodies or elaborate nose holes.

And regardless of whether its feathery fluff or elaborate noses, our picture of evolution

is constantly changing as new fossil evidence is dug up or scientists find new ways to peer

closer at the fossils they already have.

The Truth About Clint Eastwood's Longtime GF Who Died In 2018 - Duration: 5:11.

Though her longtime love affair with Clint Eastwood largely defined Sondra Locke's public

persona, she was a creative force who struggled in her paramour's considerable shadow her

entire life.

An actress and indie film pioneer, Locke died in December 2018 at 74 years old.

This is her untold story.

Oscar-nominated debut

Sondra Locke burst onto the Hollywood scene in her first feature film by earning both

an Academy Award and Golden Globe nomination for her portrayal as teenage Mick Kelly opposite

Alan Arkin in 1968's The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter.

Based on Carson McCullers' acclaimed novel of the same name, The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter

stars Arkin as a deaf-mute who rents a room in a small Georgia town to be close to his

institutionalized friend.

Once there, he begins to change the lives of all those around him, including a young

girl, played by Locke, who lives in the boarding house.

Locke said in an interview:

"I dreamed of being an actress in films, and then one day WB held a nationwide talent search

for an unknown actress to star in The Heart Is A Lonely Hunter, and I was swept away from

a small town in Tennessee to Hollywood and an Oscar nomination."

Enter Clint Eastwood

Sondra Locke worked with Clint Eastwood for the first time in 1975 during the making of

the Civil War revenge thriller The Outlaw Josey Wales.

Shortly afterward Locke and Eastwood, who was married to Maggie Johnson at the time,

began an affair that would last until 1989.

"There's one too many women in your life."

The couple would go on to make five more films together with Warner Bros., The Gauntlet,

Every Which Way But Loose, Bronco Billy, Any Which Way You Can, and Sudden Impact, until

creative and personal differences drove them apart.

Directing shot

When Sondra Locke made her directorial debut with 1986's Ratboy, her relationship with

Clint Eastwood started to unravel.

Locke told The LA Times in a 1996 interview:

"I was beginning to develop, maybe a little bit too much, and it changed the dynamics.

He was Daddy, you know, and I guess that was no longer the case.

When you're a director, the job itself forces you to take charge."

Reflecting on her experience in an interview with Coming Soon, Locke admitted that Eastwood

seemed to be against her decision to direct.

In fact, Eastwood's Malpaso Company produced Ratboy through his deal with Warner Bros.,

despite objections from Locke.

"So, not only did he put his name on it but then also, he felt that he was in a position

to tell me what to do all the time."

"Well I'd argue with you but-"

"Don't argue with me, that's the only way we're doing it.

I teach you all you need to know, and then you go off and you make a million dollars."

Exit Clint Eastwood

Sondra Locke's sophomore directorial effort, 1990's Impulse, was a psychological cop thriller

starring Theresa Russell.

Clint Eastwood was not involved, and according to Locke, quote, "that's really when it started

to unravel."

Per Locke's autobiography, she alleged that Eastwood attempted to sabotage the film from

the start.

She claims Eastwood tried to make her miss production meetings, and whenever producer

and longtime Eastwood collaborator Al Ruddy would call to discuss the project, Eastwood

hopped on the piano, quote, "banging out Scott Joplin tunes as loudly as he could."

Tensions rose to a boiling point when, per the The LA Times:

"Eastwood changed the locks of their Bel-Air home and called [a moving company] to pack

up and store her clothes while she was away, directing."

"Get off my lawn."

Fighting back

Sondra Locke filed a lawsuit to return to the home, but according to the Los Angeles

Times, she later settled for "the home Eastwood had bought her husband, about $500,000, and

a three-year, $1.5-million development deal at Warner Bros."

When the Warners deal turned out to be an alleged ruse, Locke sued the studio.

She also sued Eastwood in 1994 after discovering that he'd allegedly bankrolled the development

deal with Warner Bros. and then made sure that none of her film pitches were approved.

The suit against Warner Bros. was dismissed, but Locke sued Eastwood again for attempting

to crush her career.

Eastwood eventually settled with Locke for an undisclosed amount in 1996.

After the settlement, Locke explained why she persevered when many thought she should

quit, telling the LA Times:

"Since everything in my life collapsed in '89, I was just determined that I wouldn't

cave in.

I wouldn't just go away or become a basket case.

I knew the value of me as a person."

Over before it began

1997's Trading Favors was the third and final feature film Sondra Locke directed.

According to an interview, she hoped to transition from acting to directing as she felt "felt

very at home" behind the camera, but it just wasn't a future she saw herself in.

"I was emotionally devastated from the years of fighting my legal battles, and had become

somewhat jaded about the whole Hollywood political game.

[...] Also, I realized that all scripts which interested me were not the films the studios

wanted to make.

My tastes were more geared toward the smaller, independent film."

Not an Eastwood fan

Clint Eastwood's unorthodox directing style is the stuff of Hollywood legend.

Locke was not a fan of Eastwood's workmanlike efficiency.

She said:

"Clint never really gave direction to the actors, certainly not to me.

I was very much on my own.

I always wondered how much better my performances might have been, had I had a director who

really 'worked' with me."

Locke went on to say that Eastwood doesn't really "direct" his films, but instead just,

quote, "'shoots a script."

She explained:

"I would say it is not so much directing as 'covering' the script.

By that I mean he will 'cover' a scene with all shots required to know what is going on,

but doesn't express an opinion or guide the audiences' emotions or eye."

Before the Feature... | Burtonmas day 5 - Duration: 12:04.

- Nosy neighbors? In suburbia? Groundbreaking.

[creepy electronic music]

- [Pee-wee Herman] "I'm a loner...A rebel."

[creepy electronic music, tv shutting off]

- This has been a grueling process, let me tell you. Burton has some fairly good content.

He has some very bad content as well, and

I'm gonna talk about one of each! I didn't want Burtonmas to

go without saying anything about his short films. So today I decided to look

at two of Tim Burton's early short films, one which I think is really good, one

that is probably one of the worst things I have ever watched. So first I'm gonna

talk about Frankenweenie. It's Frankenstein, but instead of a

monster made out of human parts, it's a dog that is crudely put together with,

like, fabric so that a child doesn't learn how to deal with death!

Right off the bat, I'm gonna say that my biggest frustration with Frankenweenie the short

is that Tim Burton has a title credit that says "original idea by Tim Burton"

and it is ...[silence]... a blatant lie!

There's a part in Burton on Burton [book] that I was reading

where he talks about how, for Frankenweenie specifically, it was

important to him not to make any call backs, not to make any references, not to

be like, "Oh well we liked this from the original movies!"

[strained silence]

You can't take the name of the character directly from the original thing and not give credit to

the original author, Tim! He really just should've given Mary Shelley the credit she deserved.

The Frankenstein household is sitting in their living room, watching a home-made

film where there are some dinosaurs. Sparky, the dog - he's dressed up as

another dinosaur that comes in and destroys the volcano, I think? Victor

picks up a ball, takes Sparky outside and throws the ball, and Sparky catches it

and brings it back. And then the third time, [hesitates] Sparky is hit by a car.

Something that I like about the short film is that there's no time wasted. So then you see

the family at the graveyard, looking at the headstone...for the dog. Was this a

thing that people did in the 50s? Or was it just a stylistic choice that Tim Burton made?

Pretty much from there, Victor is sad. He goes to school

one day, and it seems like the teacher's just pulling this lesson out of nowhere.

But in any case, the teacher reanimates a frog with electricity. Not to the point

that the frog is alive but just, like, the frog's legs kind of move. From that alone

Victor gets the idea to try to reanimate Sparky, even though the Frog didn't come

back to life. I like the music a lot. It set the right

mood of this kind of like almost creepy child deciding to be a mad scientist,

just to bring his dog back to life. Although Viktor really isn't painted in

such a light, Victor is much more sympathetic. I also really liked the set

decoration, pretty much threw out Frankenweenie, but especially during the

reanimation scene. Because, you know, the movie really wouldn't exist if Victor

didn't bring Sparky back to life, Victor brings Sparky back to life. And I love

the stitches on Sparky, because they are pretty much purely aesthetic. They don't

seem like they're really serving a purpose other than to be like, "Hey look!

He's Frankenstein but he's a dog!" Because Tim Burton didn't want to do any

callbacks. And then Victor stays home to play with Sparky, but he was up all

night bringing Sparky back to life, so he falls asleep and Sparky gets out of the

house and creates a ruckus! All of his neighbors know that Sparky died so

they're rightly freaked out. Also Victor says, [movie] "People are weird." And that exactly

sounds like something Tim Burton would have written. The Frankenstein parents

find out that Victor brought Sparky back to life. Their dead dog is sitting on

their kitchen table, and they don't know how to feed it! Shelley Duvall, who

honestly played my favorite character, talks her husband into letting Victor

keep Sparky again, because like, what else are they gonna do with an undead dog? And

so the parents decide that they're gonna throw, like, a coming-out party, I guess. The

dad especially thinks that that is going to lessen the weight of the weird

if they reintroduce Sparky to their neighbors. The party starts, the dad

announces Sparky is back, and Victor brings him in. And immediately all of the

neighbors lose their minds. There's an undead dog that they know got hit by a

car in the middle of the room that they're all standing in! What do you do

in that kind of situation except scream? So Sparky gets out again, and

Victor chases after him. The adults of the town decide to chase a dog and a

small child to an abandoned golf course! I mean I get mob mentality just kind of

takes over at a certain point, but this is a dog and a small child! And of course

the one man with a lighter is the man brave enough to go up to the wooden,

broken-down windmill. All he does is fall over because he's the only one with a

lighter instead of...a flashlight! None of the adults really have any common sense.

Victor gets stuck, so Sparky goes back to save Victor, and then Sparky gets caught

in the windmill. So then the adults finally have some common sense, and

they're like, "Oh the dog saved Victor! How bad could he be? We can all live with an

undead dog in our town!" So then they get all of their cars into this like sandy

lot, and they hook Sparky up to the cars, and they start the

engines and it brings Sparky back to life! Somehow! Is that how cars work?

A poodle jumps out of one of the cars, and of course she's got the white

stripes up the sides of her hair because she's a poodle and she's supposed to

look like Bride of Frankenstein. Even though Tim Burton didn't want to do any

callbacks to the original movies or the book!

And then it's over. From 1982 to 1987, Shelley Duvall hosted Faerie Tale Theater on Showtime,

and essentially it was episodic fairy tale retellings on television. Tim Burton's episode

especially is bad. Our friend Timmy knew this. But for the most part it's hard to

tell exactly what decisions he made. It's actually called Aladdin and His

Wonderful Lamp. It is hella white. Like the Disney version, it takes place in a

very vague Arabian area. Right off the bat, Shelley Duvall comes over this like

sand hill and explains the story. So we go into the marketplace and we finally

meet Aladdin, played by Lizzie McGuire's father. [strained silence]

And he and his friends just kind of, like, throw marbles against a wall?

[sarcastically] Great shot here of just all of their backs!

And then Leonard Nimoy comes in. He's like, "Aladdin I'm your long-lost

uncle! Let me meet your mom!" So Aladdin takes him home, and his mother

is very confused because Aladdin's father never told her that he had a

brother! After dinner, Leonard Nimoy takes

Aladdin out into the middle of the desert and shows him this grate and he

says, "There's a lamp in there! I need you to go down there and get it. I can't go

in it. [stutters] I can't- I just can't go in there. I need you to do it." So Aladdin does it.

Aladdin goes into this hole- he gets, like, pushed into the hole! It's not a Cave of

Wonders, it's just a hole in the ground! And then he has to like crawl through

these tiny spaces, and he comes into a room with an apple like in a tree at the

end of the room. And I don't remember where that goes, but I remember that behind

the apple tree, there are like shadows of animals and stuff,

and it all looks like Burton's type of art. He finds the lamp, and then he goes

back to where his uncle is and he says, you know, "Help me up and I'll give you

the lamp!" but the uncle wants the lamp first because he just wants to leave Aladdin

in the ground forever. Aladdin really doesn't seem to care

about the lamp, he just wants enough money to open a marble shop. Also James

Earl Jones is the narrator. And he plays two different magical characters. The

first one is a genie of this ring that Leonard Nimoy gave to Aladdin, and he rubs

it and he's like, "I'm gonna die here!" but he still rubbing the ring, and of course

that's when James Earl Jones shows up. And the genie of the ring tells

him, "I'll give you one wish." And Aladdin just wants to go home. Then he rubs

the lamp, the second genie pops out, and Aladdin's mom faints. I wasn't the biggest

fan of James Earl Jones in this part specifically. It's very unsettling. And

the genie gives him these jewels. Aladdin is not the sharpest crayon in the box. He

just takes the jewels and goes to his mom and says, Hey mom, can you go to the

Sultan tomorrow and tell him that I want to marry the princess?" Because, in the

meantime, he also ran into the princess in the streets. They've never said a word

to each other before... but they're in love! So she does it the next day.

The Sultan is easily entertained by like toys. He's completely

incompetent and totally unaware of what's going on around him. And at least

in the Disney movie some part of that has to do with Jafar having magical

powers. This doesn't. Aladdin's mom is just like, "Hey my son really likes your

daughter. Maybe they should get married?" and the Sultan is like, "Well she's

actually gonna get married to the Royal vizier." So when that gets back to Aladdin,

he is upset, and so he brings the blue genie back out and he's like, "Hey so I

want you to bring the princess to me, and I also want you to take the Royal vizier

somewhere far away. Don't kill him, but I don't want him around."

And I think I've been permanently scarred by having to watch what happens

to the Royal vizier. So Valerie Bertinelli, as the Princess...Sabrina I think

is her name - she shows up in Aladdin's bedroom. She's asleep,

she has no idea where she is. He, at least, doesn't make a move on her. He's just

kind of like, "Hey I saw you in the street and I think you're pretty. I don't think

you should marry the Royal vizier." And she's like, "Yeah, I don't really like him.

My father decided that. I don't really want to marry him either!"

The next day, Aladdin and his mother are summoned to court. The Sultan has called

off the wedding, and he tells Aladdin that he has to bring

him an invention that will completely enthrall him - you know, entertain him

to the end of days, kind of thing. And so Aladdin brings out the genie and pretty

much brings back a television. That's how he wins the princess's hand in marriage!

And Aladdin doesn't want to live with the Sultan [laughs]. So he's like, "Hey, I'm gonna

build this tower next door!" He has the genie do that. Leonard Nimoy shows up

again. So in order to get the lamp that he's been after this whole time, he is

selling new lamps for old lamps. And Sabrina hears this by way of some lady

in waiting and gives the lady in waiting the lamp with the genie in it, because

Aladdin has told her nothing! The lady in waiting trades the lamp with Leonard

Nimoy, not knowing who he is. And Leonard Nimoy enacts revenge and sends Sabrina

into the hottest, most bug-ridden part of the desert just to annoy Aladdin. And so

when he comes home he's like, "Hey um...my palace is gone?" Aladdin still has that

ring from Leonard Nimoy from the beginning, and the other genie comes back

and gives him a magic carpet that flies out to where his palace has been

transported to. And he and Sabrina outsmart Leonard Nimoy...somehow? [laughs]

And Aladdin has learned nothing! It's weird and awful, the writing is terrible.

The casting is not great. It really really doesn't matter that Leonard Nimoy

and James Earl Jones are both in this, this was just terrible. So just goes to

show you that, even in the short form, Tim has his good days, and his bad days. But

at least with Aladdin, he was aware that that was a bad day. I don't really know

what to do with myself after watching Aladdin specifically, because

Frankenweenie was pretty good. I do wish that he gave due credit to Mary Shelley,

without whom, Frankenweenie would not exist...at all! But thank you for watching,

and we'll see you tomorrow!

Jay Silverman Talks About A Director Making Their Day - Duration: 3:26.

Film Courage: What is it like for you on set trying to make your day? How bound are you by the

hour, the minute? Producer, Director, Photographer Jay Silverman: Number one I'm the executive producer of

this movie and I'm also the director. And I think it's super critical that

boundaries are set right away and in the case of well Newman with my producer he

personally was responsible for you know in advance in pre-production scheduling

my day along with the DP and Matt Edwards who was the DP of the movie is

really the most important person on the set because if he slows down or can't

make the day that he previously agreed to you know this has a incredibly dark

story at the end of the day because the next day you've got a whole nother list

of things and what made will such an asset to our movie you know and then

again also am at an incredible asset is your ability to be honest with yourself

you know and I mentioned earlier that the screenwriter had a beautiful third

act where the hot-air balloons were being chased by a

truck and the the actors were hanging out of the truck and hanging out of the

balloon and I mean there's just no way we could have done that in even in an

economical way in less than a day versus the way we ended up doing it is in less

than a half a day on the Rio Grande that was our creative solution that the

screenwriter agreed to and you know if she didn't agree to it we would have

come up with something else but the outcome of it is we collaborated

on it and as a producer and a director it was my goal to make the day every day

and I think we made the day every day but one day and the reason we didn't

make it that day was something something that was unexpected happen and it

happens all the time in the business I mean one of the the real tragedies of

doing independent filmmaking is is is you know

things that you can't control so my movie takes place predominantly in Taos

New Mexico and in LA and I made a significantly smart decision to build a

kitchen here on my stage that we could flick a switch each day and modify the

lighting but never have to worry about the Sun going behind the building next

door never have to worry about going into overtime and and this no alight at

all it gave us an ability to do probably two times more work on the stage than we

would have done in New Mexico at a real restaurant and most importantly

creatively I was able to you know work with the set designer and create

something that I feel was one of the most magical parts in the movie is her

domain her restaurant her her dining room and all that was made on my stage

you

Tesla Thermal Management EXPLAINED W/Diagnostic Screens - Duration: 19:24.

today's video we're gonna do a nice little car ride and I'm gonna try but I

need to go grocery shopping and I only got about 26 miles left in my car so I'm

gonna supercharged in the grocery store parking lot it's a nice and convenient

so today's video will be talking about or I should say correction I will be

explaining to you the parts and features of the Tesla Model S and Model X thermal

management systems now I will note on the diagram shown it is for a rear-wheel

drive car my or Model S and that's because a dual motor car for the Model S

or X has additional coolant loop for the front motor the Model X is slightly

different but in general it's pretty much the same

now with the model 3 it is considerably different and unfortunately I was not

able to get diagrams for the Model 3 nor a dual motor Model S or X so we're gonna

be working with a older diagram here but you should still be able to get a very

good idea of the layout and the information here and I would love to do

a Model 3 so if anybody out there has a model 3 thermal management diagram

please pass it on over now compliments to a great TMC or Tesla Motors club

member Arnaz from Estonia for putting putting this all together and giving me

permission to use it and change it a little bit for my video I have a link to

his TMC post in the description box below so you can pop on over and see in

a little more detail and and also dig through that thread so first on our list

is number one the main coolant radiator it does not have a fan when the vehicle

is moving air passes through the Kulin cooling air passes through cooling of

the coolant coolant enters from the right this radiator can be bypassed with

device number 10 this is important as when temperatures are very cold

bypassing the radiator will keep your battery and motor from cooling further

rather than warming up number 2 coolant circulation mode selector a device that

switches between two modes series and parallel if in series coolant passes

from 1 to 3 and then from me or battery to number 7 if it is in parallel one

loop passes from number 1 to number 7 and other loop passes from B to number 3

and just for purposes of this video we will refer to as battery as B number 3 a

coolant pump 12-volt coolant pump the percent indicates pumps running speed

slower pump speed uses less energy prolongs bump life and slows the coolant

flow full speeds are generally used during super charging and high

performance such as track use high speeds towing to help maintain cooling

of the batteries number 4 adjustable coolant redirection valve

it sends 100% of coolant from number three to number five 100% from number

three to number 13 or anything in between thermal management will

determine this based on ambient temperatures battery cabin and motor

temps number five the coolant heater the Model S and ex are rated for 6 kilowatt

resistive thermal heater for battery pack though they can also drop

down and run as low as three kilowatt the coolant heater is a resistive heater

that runs on high voltage so it runs off the pack voltage not off the 12-volt

auxilary battery once activated coolant won't be warmed and begin to flow

through the battery pack this is used to heat the battery pack fast heat

generated by number six eight and nine can also be used for pack heating

through the use of those devices waste heat though that heating is minimal due

to efficiencies of these units a cold pack will also cool down those devices

the coolant heater can be disabled by activating the Model S or X's range mode

the coolant heater will bring the battery up to 32 degrees Fahrenheit or

zero degrees Celsius or slightly higher to allow regen and charging if range

mode is turned on the coolant heater will not come on until approximately

negative 10 degrees Fahrenheit or negative third 20 excuse me naming of 23

degrees Celsius saving a considerable amount of power if charging or regen is

not needed opinion in my observations in general you will save more power by

disabling / turning off the pack heater then you will gain by region plugging in

the car and starting charging will override range mode setting and heat the

pack to needed temperature it will draw power from the grid to heat pack while

plugged in or draw power from the pack itself if you are not

the number-6 dc-to-dc converter takes energy from the high-voltage pack and

steps it down to 12 volts high-voltage pack is roughly 350 to 400 and 4 volts

fully charged depending on your battery and trim level this keeps the 12-volt

battery charged in all 12-volt devices powered up a more limited amount of

cooling is directed through this unit as heat that generation is low and power

output on this device is variable so in other words it only uses or converts

what is needed to convert so it generates less heat when it's converting

less power number 7 that another 12-volt coolant pump this pump is required to

keep the second loop of coolant flowing if number 2 is in parallel mode in acts

as a backup to number 3 in series mode both pumps run at equal speed in

parallel pumps run at speed that is required for that specific systems

cooling some early Model S's are said to have three pumps my original model of

sixty I was told did when it was having pump number two replaced way back in

2013 by Tesla's mobile service design changes with Tesla are constant car will

still be operational with a single pump failed however the car may run at

reduced performance and services and supercharging may be unavailable due to

excessive heat build-up the onboard charger which is number eight is used

for vehicle charging it converts AC grid electricity to suitable DC from main

battery non refresh Model S vehicles were capable of having dual chargers

which were a master and slave charger combination for a maximum of 80 amps in

20 kilowatt charge jury starting with the refreshed Model S

and Model X in 2016 Tesla removed this option and instead

opted for a slower single 48 amp charger or 72 amp charger for fast charge the

original optional dual Chargers would be connected in series for cooling

there is coolant bypass as full flow of coolant does not need to flow through

and due to the limited the size of the charger may restrict flow also the

charges do not need to be cooled if the vehicle is not actively charging

likewise the Chargers also do not need to be heated drivetrain coolant enters

the motor circulates in the stator also circulates in the inverter or power

electronics and then exits with the temperature value shown the transmission

or reduction gear and differential doesn't require cooling though it gets

some heat as its between the warm motor and the inverter which raises the

temperature of the oil and makes it slightly more efficient also the rotor

temperature shown most likely calculated estimation in inverter electronics

temperature diagrams shown are for single drive unit cards dual motor cars

would of course have a similar loop in the front of the vehicle for forward

drive unit cooling number 10 adjustable coolant redirection valve same as number

for either sends 100% of coolant through the radiator bypasses 100% or anything

in between if coolant is not directed to the

radiator it can be used to heat the battery number 11 AC condensers they are

required to cool down the refrigerant these do have a fan fans mean indicated

in percents there are two condensers each having a

12-volt fan they are located between the fog lights and front of vehicle wheel

arches air enters through louvers and exits the wheel arc louvers can be

closed for better drag coefficient there in other words if you don't need the AC

or the car doesn't need it to cool the motor and battery those louvers are

closed making the vehicle more aerodynamic number 12 electric air

conditioner compressor it runs on high voltage it is used for two purposes to

cool the air for the cabin using sixteen and or to cool the glycol loop using

number thirteen percent indicate compressor running speed if cooling

requirements are very small compressor will be temporarily stopped to allow

cabin air evaporator to stay above the freezing point sensor is before and

after indicate temperature and pressure of the refrigerant before and after the

compressor number thirteen refrigerant coolant heat exchanger functions the

same way as number 11 and number sixteen but instead of air it cools glycol

coolant passing through it while number sixteen is not allowed to get below

freezing or zero degrees Celsius 32 degrees Fahrenheit the chiller can go

considerably colder as coolant will freeze at much lower temperatures though

it is more efficient to pass as much coolant as possible chiller can be

disabled with number fourteen to keep number sixteen functional if user

requests number four can also redirect only some of the coolant in times of

high demand for cooling car systems vehicle will override users request for

HVAC air-conditioning and limit cooling to the cabin in or

to keep battery at safe temperatures the only time this has ever really happened

to me was driving through Nevada with it a hundred and twenty degrees Fahrenheit

in the shade and then going in plugging in at the Nevada Las Vegas supercharger

that was the only time I believe I have ever gotten the reduction of cabin

cooling so that way the car could cooled the battery the chiller is also

manufactured by Modine manufacturing located right here by means of just 30

minutes south and in Racine Wisconsin I have attached a link to the Modine

manufacturing video when I did a photo shoot with them in 2013 and got to see

the unit up close and personal while it was still a relatively secretive part of

the car number fourteen chiller activation valve is an on/off valve with

which either that either blocks the refrigerant from expanding into number

thirteen or not number fifteen the cabin evaporator activation valve is an on/off

valve that either blocks the refrigerant from expanding into 16 or not cabin air

evaporator number 16 radiator inside the HVAC system that cools the air that

passes through if climate control AC setting is on or pre cooling is

activated remotely this will cool and dry the air that passes it air gets here

through cabin air filter and continues to number 17 number 17 is cabin air PTC

heater element rated first six kilowatt maximum power with which can be reduced

by activating range mode through control settings menu runs on high voltage due

to it being positive thermal coefficient device it can generate six kilowatt of

heat only if air enters that is very cold and moving very fast if the element

gets hot it will reduce its draw even if it's activated to 100% usually air

that exits doesn't get scalding hot no matter what temperatures between 55

degrees Celsius to 80 degrees Celsius or 130 degrees Fahrenheit to 175 can be

expected at full power reduced power mode with range mode can greatly reduce

the temperature of the heat on input air depending on input air temperature

generally range mode setting will still provide comfortable heat and

considerably lower power consumption in external temperatures just below

freezing and higher main traction high-voltage battery so where we are now

at B some data is shown on the picture the trend temp trend is coolant

temperature that enters the battery if it is hotter the battery will heat up if

it is colder it will cool the pack coolant temperature after the pack is to

the left below number seven number 19 minimum maximum cell temperature extreme

values of the sensors in the pack lots of temperature sensors in the pack one

for each of the bricks of cells there are approximately actually there are 96

bricks of cells on an 85 90 or 100 kilowatt hour battery pack number 20

here I should say passing coolant and target that's not a number 20 ah just my

own numbering here this is the valve their value system ties to yeah let's

start over again that one this is the value the system tie to tries to bring

the pack to passively if B is below this value heat that has been generated by

number six eight or nine will bypass number one and be absorbed by being

active cooling target this is the upper value from B temperature if number one

is not capable to cool enough and trend is to go above that value

active cooling measures will increase this means number fourteen activates

number thirteen and number four selects a portion of coolant to be chilled

depending on requirements number thirteen speeds up as will fans on

number eleven so this is where you get your jet engine ready to takeoff sound

when you are super charging at some point if coolant is not capable to cope

other parameters can be limited such as charging speed vehicle regen and power

limits active heating target this is the lower value for B anything below that

and vehicle will use active measures to heat the PAC apparantly number five it

appears that active heating to that limit can be disabled with range mode

this will compromise battery charging capabilities and regen a lot and also

some of the power output until the pack warms up to its operating temperature

once again please see below video links and links form links for more

information don't forget like and subscribe any questions post post below

and I will do my best to answer them for you

1st January signing: Emery give Arsenal go ahead to secure deal for Nicolas Pepe - Duration: 2:35.

Arsenal are leading the chase for Nicolas Pepe, with Lille willing to negotiate if a club offers €50m (£44.9m)

according to reports in France.L'Equipe reported on Monday morning that Lille will be open to negotiations in the winter window as long as a club is willing to meet their valuation, despite previous insistence that they wouldn't sell mid-season

France-based football writer Matt Spiro adds that Arsenal are 'leading the chase' as it stands, but they're set to have competition

Pepe seems to add to the buzz surrounding him every time he steps onto the pitch

The winger has 12 goals and six assists this season, including goals in all of his four most recent league games

Over the weekend, he scored the winner against Nimes Olympique after a run starting in his own half

He's just the kind of goalscoring winger Arsenal could do with, considering the likes of Alex Iwobi and Henrikh Mkhitaryan haven't put many away this season, despite Mkhitaryan's brace on Sunday

According to France Football's report last week, Chelsea, Tottenham and 'especially Arsenal' are the most 'fervent' followers of the winger

French outlet Mercato365 also reported that Pepe is 'particularly popular' with Arsenal, and the winger is 'one of the recruitment priorities' of the club

Clearly, most French outlets are in agreement that the Gunners are at the forefront of the race for the player

Arsenal reportedly told Lille back in August that they were planning a January bid

We'll just have to see if Unai Emery's transfer team put their money where their mouth is next month

How to start social media marketing business| Social Media marketing Guide - Duration: 6:28.

If you are a beginner and you don't know how to use social media to market your business,

then you are in the right place to get some help.

By the end of this video, you will have four steps that you can use to get started on your

social media marketing strategy.

For the best tips on how you can use social media for your business, especially if you're

a healthcare professional, make sure to subscribe to my channel and hit the bell to be notified

every time I post a new video.

If you don't know where to get started, the first thing that you need to do and the first

step you need to take is to figure out where your ideal patient or your ideal client is

hanging out online.

Which platform do you think your ideal patient will be using the most?

Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, YouTube, you need to get inside the mind of your ideal

patient and figure out exactly where they are hanging out.

If you're looking at an older demographic, maybe Facebook is better for you.

If you're looking at a younger demographic, something like Instagram is absolutely incredible.

On a side note, when you're looking and choosing one of these platforms to work with, you need

to be figuring out what kind of content you're comfortable creating.

Do you prefer using videos?

Do you prefer writing captions and posting photos?

A combination of both maybe?

A platform like YouTube is great for videos, but you can also use Instagram and Facebook

to showcase your videos.

If you aren't comfortable using video, then you definitely don't want to use a platform

like YouTube.

You'll likely want to stay in using Instagram or Facebook.

Personally, I have found the most success using Instagram and the second most success

using Facebook.

That's because those are the platforms I like to hang out with and because that is where

my ideal patient is.

Most of my ideal patients are coming from Instagram.

I don't quite utilize YouTube as much because YouTube is more of a search engine, you're

less likely going to find a patient that will come into your office after finding you on

YouTube.

If you're still not sure which platform you should be using, then leave a comment below

and tell me who your ideal patient is, and I will be sure to help you out.

Step number two is going to be to complete your profile, your username, your email, your

location, how people can contact you, a good photo of you.

Your bio is everything.

Let people know who you are and what you do and how you will benefit them if they follow

you, or if they are part of your community.

Step number three is to start creating content.

Now, you may think that you don't have a following but guess what, we all start from scratch.

Nobody is going to follow you if you don't have any content.

Now, I don't want you to just post things to post things.

I want you to focus on creating valuable content for your audience and putting out valuable

content every single day.

If you're stuck and you want to learn more about how you can create content, especially

for Instagram, then check out my video on how to create content.

I've linked it below in the description, so make sure that you watch that video.

Now, if you're one of my insiders and you are in my program Grow with the Gram, we go

over this in great detail, so make sure to watch the lesson on creating valuable content

for your audience.

The next thing you need to do is to build a connection with people.

You're on social media to be social, so start building connections with people on each of

those platforms that you are using.

Start finding people and start leaving comments on their pages, engage with their content.

Start finding colleagues and sending them DMs or respond to comments that other people

have left them.

When you post on your page, if somebody leaves a comment, it means that they have taken time

out of their busy schedule to leave a comment on your page.

Don't overlook that, make sure you respond to each and every comment that you get, no

matter how big your platform gets.

And make sure to respond to all of your DMS.

Social media really is all about that one-to-one connection that you make with people.

Thank people when they leave comments, respond to them when they ask you questions, respond

to their DMs when they send you a message.

Over time, as you are spending time engaging with other people's accounts and pages, people

will come back to your profile and they will become a follower and they will begin to engage

with your content as well.

Building that type of community is exactly what you need in order to turn those followers

into active patients of yours.

Now, before I end this video, I want to leave you with one last bonus tip.

So, if you tuned out for a second, I want you to come back to me and listen to this

part of the video.

I want to make sure that you're not so worried about your follower count.

If you only have 10 people following you, what I want you to do is focus on serving

those 10 people with value.

When you start focusing on serving those people that are already in your community, then you

will start growing and you will start growing an engaged audience, which is the best way

to turn your followers into active patients or active clients in your business.

Now that you know how you can get started, I want to let you know that I have an Instagram

guide for healthcare professionals that you can download below for free, it's in the description.

It's going to be 30 captions that you can copy and paste when you're tired, or you can

use those captions for templates to create your own.

I'm also giving you a daily Instagram strategy so you know exactly what to do when you hop

on the platform so that you're not wasting any time.

The link to the guide is in the description below, so make sure that you download it.

If you are interested in going into more detail on how you can use Instagram or social media

to grow your business, you can get my free three part video series that will teach you

how you can use Instagram to grow your business.

The link for those videos is also in the description below or you can go to GrowWithTheGram.com.

Now, if you felt like this video was helpful, I want you to comment below with the word

'helpful' and make sure to like this video and subscribe to my channel, and make sure

that you share this video with your fellow healthcare professionals.

I can't wait to see you in the next video.

sure you hit the subscribe button and the little notification bell if you

haven't already let's go ahead and get to the video start off sit and I have

been friends for I guess it's only been a year but we were fast friend I became

friends with pretty much I think it was kind of like a back and forth that we're

sliding in each other's teams who worked out at the same gym and then we started

working out together but it feels like a longer amount of time that we've been

friends in the year though I'm going to school right now and be a nurse and I'm

model also with an agency here in Seattle I've been doing that for a long

time and I love it I'm also really into gaming so I am

starting to stream on Twitch within the next couple of weeks hopefully I just

finished building my PC yes so following around there yeah down and down in the

description as well yeah cool so you guys can come check me out

so West which it is a online streaming platform mostly geared towards gamers

because people will like to watch other people play games I'll be playing games

on stream I'm probably gonna be a variety streamer so I'll be playing all

sorts of things but I'll be playing like League overwatch probably some destiny

so it's just like us eating yeah it's just a video what is your best run

really bad at one thing that I'm bad at making decisions yeah it's

not even funny but we don't even want to jump about it that's animal ate a lot

they're not a big noticeable thing darling sometimes a long time oh wow

thanks yeah I've never really done much to piss

me off so I can't think of anything at all and I'm the sick shit any friend she

just fucking sucks this appears here to get your twitch

notice favourite stupidest inside joke go to pet name and biggest pet peeve

from a shout out or not oh yeah that means significant other oh oh my god do

you think she's like what's your favorite pet peeve or like pet name from

a shout out I think I've got some crumbs me not so job muck but that's just like

a catchphrase by grinding James's death every time you sit down I said dick okay

every time I say we say muck I know but that's not funny

Jared I say what the muck yeah mm-hmm just muck

yeah that's an inside joke muck is just like everything everything's mocking my

life all over this table mm-hmm making fun of my days working promos in here

there's mucking crime up in your hair go to pet name

she's cost people money a lot she calls me anyway yeah I cost him some time

oh yeah I used to be yeah that's how she is I know she used to just do it

the squids a popular one for Sydney okay yeah that was my fence so when I had a

fence done my fence today was squid just Irwin no ha I'm gonna say it should have

kept that OG named biggest pet peeve from a shout out so let's just say

biggest pet peeve in general like in general or for me and you do for me okay

yeah biggest pet peeve from you it's so sorry when you eat you breathe really

hard oh my god no no one told me I breathed

hard until Brian said every it's hard and then everyone knows there was a

galley breather because you do wanted to say anything but I agree I

know dude especially when you eat though I remember I was over at your place and

you had made ramen forest regardless even if you weren't sick you would have

been braided down hard and I was like I could literally plug my ears I was like

I cannot listen that's so funny I know diya when I was more active on my

stories and I would be like show me like products or something with no Mesa can

you breathe so hard all the time I just have sinus problem I don't think I have

one from you you're so laid back and like low-key that sometimes you don't

feel like doing stuff yeah like sometimes we'll have danger like

let's look cute and go take pictures and there's a show up it's sweat we don't

make the bond was like I don't feel like it but I still show up to take her

picture so yeah yeah she acts like it's a burden for me to take her pictures

when it literally like takes no time I might try not to breathe me or something

it's not gonna be all the footage I know you see what about Pepe's from Lodi it

still goes back to eating like if a guy eats like a slob it really really

bothered I don't think I've ever been with a guy where I would notice that is

eating was a clue yeah what are major first impressions that make you think

you know when it comes to relationships a major like turn offs okay um I guess

one should be eating in order to be talking right a major turn offs for me

like first impression why definitely something who comes off too full of

themselves or I think it's really easy to recognize

whether or not it's gonna be like a high-maintenance person that you're with

like Christine said I'm pretty laid back somebody who can't have fun that's a

real bummer because I like to be goofy and have fun

and if it's like somebody that is high-strung it doesn't want to like let

loose or it's not secure in themselves that's a really big turn-off yeah

insecurity yeah I think it's a fine line when they're overconfident and you have

two insecure yeah if there's a good I like one

god knows what he has and he's he's fine with not trying to broadcast it to

everyone yes it sounds selfish but I don't like it when it seems like they

have a lot of personal issues not in a mean way but yeah just because I feel

like neither of us come with a lot of baggage but it's like it's one thing if

they do have it and you don't find out until later but if if you can tell right

away or they're talking about it right away you like just met this person yeah

they're yeah and they're talking about all the shit that they've been through

doing something like that and then you're just like oh but it's fine if you

get to know them better and they gonna find out about their story and oh yeah

that's fine yeah cuz everyone how sorry yeah but up front that's like a big red

flag okay and then what you look for demands the opposite

I definitely like nice smiles teeth are super important to me and then

personality wise mm-hmm excuse me yeah personality wise I think it's somebody

who's confident comfortable mm-hmm again like able to be goofy I really like what

people are able to interact with people they've never met before you know like

if you go to like a concert or a party yourself go ahead yeah yeah so I'm super

outgoing like they're able to just talk to anybody like that is so attractive to

me because I know that I can bring that person like around my family and I don't

have to sit and babysit them like you're gonna be able to communicate and like

joke and have fun and be comfortable without me yeah and I think that's

really attractive yeah that's a good thing I have to say smile too that's

just like that first thing I've noticed it's not like a must but it's the first

thing that I notice that affects yeah but if I get to know someone good and

then I know smile later it might not be that big of a factor but yeah and then

personality is I feel like I have to have someone that can make me laugh I've

been with people that aren't that funny and like they're looking fast but it's

it doesn't make it fun like oh they don't have a fun relationship have you

ever been hung up on boy if so how did you finally move on I've caught feelings

before in college or with your stage where I went out all the time meeting a

lot of guys that weren't ready for a relationship the way the I am if I'm

spending time with someone I might slowly start developing feelings but

never hung up or I coming back to them it's funny brand I

kind of talked about it in our Q&A but when him and I met he was the biggest

boy there was know a lot of people that get hung up on boys

yeah people that keep going back and it's a frustrating to see really

frustrating for my friends first correct perspective when you see like your

friend going through right on a pain with the same person who's putting them

through it continually what advice would you be able to pick up I would just say

you have to understand your Worth and there's always gonna be someone who's

gonna treat you better I'm not crazy always I mean you don't have to find

that person right away maybe then it's taking time to recover from our

relationship yourself finding yourself worth if you don't know it you know

being able to tell yourself that you do deserve better than that and it can take

some time in high school I was with a guy that would like hang out with a girl

and have her over at his place and watch TV shows and go to the fair for him and

I were dating three years and it was not a place where it was so comfortable that

I didn't want to leave that was like my first real boyfriend after that I kind

of realize I'm so much better than that after seeing other guys that treated me

better yeah sometimes it takes you leaving to

realize how bad it was it's frustrating to to see a friend go through something

like that especially from the outside perspective you're like dude why are you

still with them yeah and you get so invested when you're close with that

person and I are taking a toll on you

relationship related but how do you stop comparing yourself to other girls -

people in general in high school wasn't as confident and I would prepare myself

- girls all the time she look quite more I was a hater I would have to say mean

things about other girls make me feel better about myself there's not a lot of

good that comes out of feeling like you need to compete with people all the time

I feel like also having a lot of jobs had so many jobs in the last like five

six years that I met so many new people that it's gotten me to a level of

confidence being comfortable with who I am and talking to other people and

meeting so many people that I feel like that kind of helps with your confidence

I think definitely meeting in people helps just so understanding that

everyone is so different and their beauty is different than your beauty and

it always is going to be I think I was really insecure

school - I didn't necessarily take it out on other people but I pretended like

I wasn't because that was just my way of dealing with it I think it was hard for

me too growing up black in a predominantly white community and

constantly be JIP like being jealous of the fact that I didn't have straight

hair pale skin or like you know these Eurocentric features it was especially

hard for me to realize that like I'm never gonna be that girl and I'm never

gonna look like that girl but I'm still beautiful even though I don't look like

that girl even recently I've had to take like breaks from seeing things on social

media yeah it can really take a toll on you like when you're scrolling to the

Instagram page and you just see like all of these perfect looking people like in

swimsuits on the beach and you're like wow she looks so gorgeous and I feel

like at one point in time I used to go wow she looks so gorgeous like why don't

I look at like that and you have now I'm like wow she look gorgeous like I'm

gonna hit it with a like in a comment yeah you look great girl cuz like she's

yeah I appreciate that you look great that's fine separate of that I can still

look great yeah exactly yeah and I think especially now that we're more involved

in social media we know how much goes into taking a good photo that the photos

that you see on Instagram aren't real hopefully maybe on and it's so much work

to get a good photos into the kini photo looking out the flex and turn your body

a certain way and all the editing that goes into it the stuff that you see on

Instagram isn't real life yeah and so once you're able to separate that from

yourself then it's easier for you to appreciate and enjoy that kind of stuff

without comparing especially in like modeling photos yeah I cannot even begin

to explain how much editing the photographer or the the separate etre

does for those photos Dave like resized everything I have muscle tone they'll

like take it out in the photos or they'll fix your skin and they're so

good in it that it looks like you're perfect

mm-hmm you have to water bucks back up Puma I hate being the jealous type how

do I stop being such bummer friend's hot ash bunny girlfriend Brandon doesn't

have good girlfriends that are cute like he doesn't really hang out with

girls that often we had a group of girls that he knew from high school that I

wasn't like fond of it doesn't matter if he has like cute friends or like

good-looking girls that he things out with all the time that's fine I don't

feel like threatened by that but if she doesn't respect me and him that's what I

have problems yeah I agree and he's not the type of person to hang

out with like a girl one-on-one anyway unless it was like at school when he was

one of you dubbed would have liked his study sessions or whatever but I never

felt threatened by anything like that I really agree with what you said it's

kind of situational like if the girl is disrespecting you yeah then I think you

have every right to be you know to say something but if it's just like general

girls you feel jealous or threatened by then I feel like it's like an underlying

insecurity that it's something that you have to work on yourself I think if it's

a personal problem when you as a girl feel threatened by any other girl that

he hangs out with that's something that you need a fix yes I go back to you yeah

yeah because if he has good friends and he hangs out with then it could be like

a 15-year relationship if you're constantly telling him I want meeting up

with that girl and and then you know I'm the controller

girlfriend yeah but if it's like this girl is going out of her way to you

uncomfortable or yeah she does like passive-aggressive things like the one

thing that we've always talked about is when I remember at a Mariners game when

this girl came up to Brandon and like hugged him and was all talking to him

and you were right behind him and she knew that you were dating and it didn't

say anything so that was actually one of the girls from his high school too

she came up and hugged and it was all lovey-dovey hi I haven't seen him so

long and I'm like across away and I kind of see this so I was coming over just to

say hi and she sees me coming and then turns around and leaves doesn't hang

with me doesn't say hi or anything and then that's when I have a problem with

yeah if something went that happens I feel like it's fully justified to tell

your man like I'm not comfortable with this person yeah she doesn't respect me

and it's just the same thing if you were hanging out guys I did respect her

boyfriend then it's not like it's not right yeah what to tell your friend when

her boyfriend has cheated more two more times and got someone knocked up oh whoa

tell your friend that she would he got someone

duh I feel like there's no other way just gonna be born that's it sorry Fred

we need to sit down and talk maybe we don't text them or call them me in

person yeah and you can't be there for them it's not your responsibility to

sugarcoat I'm solar like wait on it it's your responsibility as soon as you know

cuz it affects relationships what she wants to do with it it's up to her

mm-hmm right away I got a baby your baby

daddy's up baby daddy your saw all over there keep talkin I've been talking well

I can just fall apart which uh what to do when your partner doesn't see eye to

eye on things I can check my teeth first I think it depends on what you're not

seeing eye to eye on yeah give it something small yeah then you're just

different and that's fine if it's like a relationship defining characteristic of

that person I've met guys that don't want to have kids I wanted your nose you

yeah yeah and maybe and maybe it's something down the road you guys are

able to talk about it I met guys that weren't Christians and I'm Christian

yeah that's not like a big thing for me because yeah it's something that come

later on or changer or you guys can overlook it but if it's like really

important things like what you want to do with your life mm-hmm I was with a

guy that wasn't motivated or didn't have goals gonna be a big deal breaker for me

sorry I see I also think it has to go to being open-minded because you may not

see eye to eye but Matthew said things can change so if that person is

open-minded then it's okay like that's fine you guys can work on it but if that

person is so accept in whatever they believe that you're there's not much you

can do I think - if you guys are arguing a lot and the way the arguments in and

out always is the same way it's not good for your relationship and you have to

work through that and that's not something that you can't clash heads are

on every single time resenting each other yeah for that thing

that you think differently always happen when your partner isn't treating you the

same as the beginning of the relationship that's a bad one Brandon

still opens doors for me even if we're like coming out from dinner or when

hanging out the Google friends will walk to the other side of the car and open my

door and let me and so he's really good about that

that hasn't changed since the number four state he still does that opening

the car door but what what goes behind that like he still takes his time to

realize that that means something to you and oh she's gonna you know understand

that I care for her by doing this and I want to show that I care for her mm-hmm

and I think that's why it mattered because when you first get into a

relationship you want to do everything left for that person you know I want to

do everything that's gonna make them happy right then I think people start to

slack off later into a relationship that's like oh this person's already

happy I don't have to worry about doing those small things that are gonna make

them smile right and that's not the case because yeah but it's like - when you

first start dating and you're going on dates all the time and say later on you

don't go on as many dates I feel like that's not a big deal anymore

yeah you still do your date you get home differently yeah if you're at home

watching TV making food together so that's not as

big of a deal looks like that attitude yeah attitude behind food if they start

disrespecting you or like making fun of you in front of your friends and that's

something that they didn't do before mouth was on fire I know I don't know

what I just said I'm like trying really hard not to be distracting while you're

talking but like I'm hurting yeah I know I really am mmm what if he's

not romantic anymore you just like play that off if you do just nastily Burke I

gonna have to do is communication Mike you have to tell him the romance so you

had at the beginning of the read relationship is what really drew you

into that person and you're not getting about any more and really important

aspect to keep maintaining yeah well if we don't feel like he's being a

relationship I mean relationship he's not being

relationship I wants to leave thank you next

if you feel like he's not romantic and it's the spikes and he's not being

romantic anymore mm-hmm then what I don't know I just want to get that out

it's not I remember anything else I feel like it's a comfort thing tell

them zone if he's stopped being romantic three years into a relationship imagine

five and then ten years couples go through rats like that but after your

honeymoon phase whatever you guys get too comfortable and then you don't do

anything fun anymore and I'm complacent mmm there's ways to revive it you have

to both work together their life trying to be better about that because that's

the worst yeah when you guys fall into something like that so I just don't talk

to it and work through it but I think I guess one of the really important things

to have any tissue oh this is a deep one yeah all right let's get deep guys how

do you know what it's time to move on and how to get over someone it comes to

a tipping point where like if at the end of the day you're not happy and you're

constantly having fights or you're having the same conversations over and

over again and it's never really going anywhere then it might be time for you

to sit down and think about if it's ever going to get better if it's worth it

that's a hard one relationships are all about adopting

because you're two totally different people and you're learning how to like

walk through life together booth and if you guys can continue to change and

adapt so move it one another's lives yep you can make it work but if you get to a

point where like you feel like you cannot accommodate that person or

compromise with that person anymore then there's just no point because you you've

reached a wall that you're never gonna get through right and I thought that's

when I would be like yeah it's time for me to move on yeah there's nothing that

can come with this relationship after this yeah so there's still being

immature or there's problems that he's talked about that haven't gotten better

then yeah I like what you said can I have water yeah if we're both

competitive there's one to drink water and milk loses is a motherfucker fat buy

delish I've given MIDI on this how to get armor picked up so check that off

you have it but pretty much what grandma did are videos like this time she's

gonna put in this girl no I feel like the biggest thing is staying

busy not talking to that person what about old friends

Hanna's girlfriend has have broken up so many times and they keep getting back

together and then breaking up and getting back together you know we all

have friends that are like that that's never good for anyone because it's not

good for you it's not good for her it's not good for your relationship and then

your friends all see this happening and then they have their yeah which their

opinion doesn't matter but it might affect your friendships yeah it's gonna

make it harder for you to stay in that relationship and be friends with people

that you're friends right so I think it's important completely closed

yourself off and distance yourself and then learn to take up your time maybe

find something that betters yourself one of my good friends got out of a really

long relationship and lost hella weight and now looks super good that's the type

of stuff and you need to go through after a breakup and like better stuff we

can get better instead of like falling into this pit in from the back for

yourself and you also have to take pride I think and like being by yourself yeah

I think it's so important yeah I'm by myself and I'm fucking awesome yeah I

can do this and I think it's really awesome that I'm doing this for myself

but also there there are times where this you can it's okay to feel like

you're alone where you get sad yeah like it could even be like a couple months

after the fact then you just have this feeling like wow I'm I'm single I'm by

myself and this sucks and it's okay to have that even I went through phases

like that all the time but so important find something that you're passionate

about pursue that and then keep yourself busy I feel like that talking makes it

worse cuz I have my mouth open yeah okay bro

you have to eat your whole wing I'm gonna power through these two ones I

thought I couldn't actually okay here's a good one what's your favorite thing

about each other I like that said her never talking about

the southern egg but after way that both of us are we mesh really well together

we can sit and not do anything together and not have plans but not just tomorrow

she'll come over it will just be perfectly fine it'll be fun and I feel

like you're just such a good person like your positive energy no matter what you

cannot let shitty stand that Judy's thing happens to you but like the way

that Sydney is she wouldn't radiate that to other people you would even go up two

legs for ten like everything's off okay just a ladder it doesn't affect anyone

else she's just a selfless person so friendly and fun to be around

all my friends are in love with her oh thanks see Mike going off what Christine

said I also love that we can like do nothing and like she can be working on

her video and I can be working on like homework and we're totally cool like

chilling out with each other um I think Christine has a maturity

level and a friendship that I've never had before

I'm gonna mature - Wow I don't think we ever make each other like uncomfortable

or sad or like do anything to hurt each other's feelings

well like I know that if we ever did we would say it to each other whenever we

had any conversation with anybody else I really like that I know that I can say

that to her and she's not gonna take it to heart - where you're gonna be like

salty or not replot if we ever have a little tat then we'll just both know

that attack it's an attack if we ever have like a little bit of a battle

battle in our friendship then we address it right away

yeah um Christine is also goofy as hell and it's so fun you just giggle for

hours because we bounce off of each other and like she's the kind of friend

that we can like sit and joke about each other and neither of us are gonna get

upset yeah I also like found Christine after coming out of like a really rough

friendship I was in a really vulnerable place where like I didn't trust friends

at all we became really fast friends so it just feels really good to have

someone that helped me regain my trust and friendship and like I know and now

she's moving so there you go you broke my trust man crying sweating it caught I

feel like heat radiating Renee - dating her for us so that was a I hope you guys

enjoyed and if you did please make sure you hit the thumbs up button and

let us know down the comments you'd like to see another video together or what

you'd like to see next for me then also make sure to follow sydney up all her

social media down below and then you also have your twitch yes my twitter

says xxxx Neytiri so if you go Twitter calm /xx Neytiri will spell it down here

but that would be awesome if you can tell much mystery thanks for watching I

hope you guys enjoy it and we'll see you next time bye bye

good job friend

Kailyn Lowry sent 'Teen Mom 2' cast mate Jenelle Evans some of her hair care products as a peace offering between the frenemies

After Jenelle literally burned them in a fire, Kail is totally okay with it.  It takes a special kind of anger to literally set fire to a gift

That's what Jenelle Evans did when Teen Mom 2 co-star Kailyn Lowry sent the North Carolina mom of three a package full of her weed-infused Pothead Haircare items

Jenelle posted an Instagram video on Dec. 21 showing the items in the woods while pouring gasoline over them then saying to the camera, "Hey Kail, this is to your peace offering" then lighting them on fire! Surprisingly Kailyn, 26, is taking it in stride

"I knew they would do this. I'm not upset at all," Kail told Us Weekly after sending the products to Jenelle, 27, as a "peace gathering gift" over their recent feud

After seeing her items get torched, she posted a pic to her IG stories and wrote "So Jenelle set my peace offering gift on fire…" She also joked about the incident on Twitter by posting a pic of Jenelle burning her gift and writing, "Potheadhaircare

com is [fire emoji]."  Jenelle posted her video of turning Kailyn's haircare gifts into a bonfire to Instagram with the caption, "NEGATIVE REVIEW" even though the products were unopened

"Been debating whether to upload this, but I feel like the time is appropriate. Kail Lowry, for years you've been super jealous and envious of all us girls on the show

You try to make your way into the group, then turn into a mean ass person when it came down to me

You apologize on/off, claim I need to be apologizing sometimes, then talk sh*t constantly about me and my husband to the tabloids?!" she continued, referring to her husband David Eason, who was fired from the show in February after posting homophobic tweets

"THEN you had the balls to send me a PEACE GATHERING GIFT?! Don't send me gifts and then go talk sh*t AGAIN!!! Wow, you're an idiot cuz this is what I do for gifts sent from fake ass bitches like you

🤷🏻‍♀️🖕🏼Stay our of my life, go worry about your own," Jenelle added. She then disabled her comments section as to not get feedback about the controversial act

https://t.co/QxH2hkRXEf is 🔥🖤🍃😉 https://t.co/h7N4Rbeem8  — Kailyn Lowry (@KailLowry) December 21, 2018    By Jenelle not allowing comments, that just sent Teen Mom fans over to Kailyn's account where they flooded a recent post about her hair care elixir with responses to what her frenemy did

"Jenelle is some next level scary and unwell. I cannot believe she went from being a mindless pregnant teen to a sad psychopath married to such an abusive man

It's difficult to watch," one fan wrote. Another added, "Literally about to buy your product just to spite Jenelle

" One person joked "You can send me whatever products you like!!! I won't mistreat them like some people I promise!!!" while another added "Jenelle thinks your new hair line is lit!"

Skype Therapy for anxiety and depression - Duration: 8:42.

Welcome.

My name is Peter Strong.

I'm a professional psychotherapist specializing in online mindfulness therapy.

So a lot of people are looking for Skype therapy for anxiety and depression.

Skype Therapy is a very effective and very convenient way of getting the help that you

need to overcome your anxiety or depression.

I offer a Skype Therapy, and have done so for over ten years now, in which I specifically

teach mindfulness therapy for help with anxiety and depression and also addictions and many

of the common psychological problems that cause emotional suffering.

So if you'd like to get started with Skype Therapy with me then simply e-mail me.

Tell me more about yourself and what's happening for you emotionally and I'll be happy to explain

to you how we can work on reducing the level of emotional suffering that you're experiencing

by using the methods of mindfulness therapy.

I will teach you specifically how to apply mindfulness yourself for working with your

emotions.

This greatly increases the effectiveness of this approach.

So we will work on your anxiety or depression during sessions using mindfulness but you

will be able to continue that work between sessions.

This means that you will see results much quicker than in conventional talk therapy.

We work at a very practical level really learning how to work with our thoughts and with our

emotions more effectively.

We have to learn how to break free from that habit of becoming overwhelmed by reactive

thinking or becoming a prisoner of our learned emotional reactions.

Anxiety and Depression are best thought of as being habits.

They are learned habits.

We acquire these habits and then we become a prisoner of them.

So mindfulness therapy is a way of learning how to break free from these habits and how

to neutralize them.

So all habits thrive on unawareness, they operate unconsciously, and in mindfulness

therapy we employ more consciousness.

We learn how to bring conscious awareness to these habits and that's one of the first

principles for breaking out of any kind of habit is to make them more conscious, to bring

consciousness to them.

And the way we do that is by actually learning to meditate on our anxiety or depression or

other emotions.

This is a way of bringing that consciousness to them that will eventually break the habit.

We learn to observe our reactive thoughts as well.

Reactive thoughts effectively feeds anxiety and depression and when they are operating

unconsciously they provide a continuous source of fuel.

So we need to see these patterns of reactive thinking very clearly and we need to change

our relationship to them so that they don't overwhelm us, they don't take away our choice,

they don't control us.

So we meditate on our thoughts.

This way we become the observer of those thoughts.

Being the observer stops us becoming identified with the thoughts.

So that process of reactive identification is the main problem.

It Is the way that we simply become overwhelmed and identified with conditioned emotional

reactions and thoughts.

So we learn to break free from that by developing more consciousness.

That is the first training in mindfulness therapy.

The second is learning to change the emotion itself, learning to heal that anxiety or depression.

So healing is a very big part of mindfulness therapy.

There are many aspects to the healing process but the most important is developing this

conscious and caring relationship that is so much a part of mindfulness training with

your emotions.

We learn to develop compassion towards your anxiety or depression.

We learn to develop compassion towards your emotional pain.

This is an essential part of the healing process.

The biggest problem for most people is that the anxiety or depression becomes isolated,

they become disconnected from the emotional pain.

And when that emotional pain is disconnected or abandoned or neglected then it cannot heal.

So that combination of disconnection with your emotions and reactive identification

with your emotions is what really causes the the emotional suffering to persist and prevents

healing.

So we developed this inner friendship and compassionate relationship with our emotions

and that is a vital part of healing.

There are other things we will do during sessions but those are two of the key components: overcoming

the blind unconscious habit of reactive identification and reconnecting with our emotions and developing

a strong consciousness based relationship based on compassion and mindfulness with our

emotions.

If you'd like to learn more about the mindfulness approach for healing anxiety and depression

please contact me.

This approach is very effective.

People usually see quite big changes after the first few sessions with me.

So if you like to get started please send me an email and then we can schedule a Skype

therapy session at a time that works for you.

I see people worldwide.

It doesn't matter where you live.

Most of my clients live in the USA.

But I also see many clients in Europe and the UK and as far away as Australia.

All you need is a good internet connection.

So please contact me if you'd like to get started with Skype Therapy for your anxiety

or depression.

Thank you.
