Hi, I'm Francis, the host of this show "Cooking with Dog."
Konnichiwa.
Today, we are making Kushikatsu, a specialty dish in Osaka.
It's a fun dish where the ingredients are skewered and deep-fried.
First, let's make the sauce.
Combine the Japanese Worcester sauce, okonomiyaki sauce,
tomato ketchup,
and water.
Stir to mix thoroughly.
You can also enjoy the kushikatsu with salt and sudachi citrus fruit.
Next, let's make the batter.
Combine the egg and cold water in a bowl.
Thoroughly beat the mixture with a balloon whisk
until the egg white loses its consistency.
Sieve the flour into the bowl.
You can use all purpose flour, cake flour or tempura batter mix.
Mix the batter until all the pockets of dry flour have disappeared.
Let's prepare the ingredients.
Make numerous shallow cuts in the beef steak to tenderize it.
Flip it over, and make cuts on the other side.
Lightly season it with salt and black pepper.
Dice the steak into 2 cm (0.8") pieces.
Skewer 2 pieces of beef with a bamboo stick.
This cut is beef round but sirloin or tenderloin can also be used.
Leave a slight gap between the meat to help it cook well.
These long peppers are called Amanaga peppers.
The peppers may burst in hot oil
so make sure to pierce them numerous times
along the flesh with a bamboo skewer.
You should also pierce the cherry tomatoes to keep them from bursting.
Skewer each pepper with a bamboo stick from the stem end to the tip.
Amanaga peppers don't have any pungent taste
and have a distinct refreshing flavor.
Snap off the root end of the asparagus spear.
Peel off the firm skin from the bottom part
so that you can boil, or use it in stir-fried dishes.
Skewer the asparagus spear with a stick.
Slice the onion into 1 cm (0.4") slices.
From the outer layers, skewer the onion with a wooden pick.
To keep the layers from separating,
skewer it with another pick from the other side.
Be sure to remove the picks before you enjoy the kushikatsu to avoid hurting yourself.
We have 7 additional ingredients;
prawns, scallops, fresh shiitake mushrooms,
cherry tomatoes, eggplants, and camembert cheese.
Please check out our shrimp egg tendon video for how to prepare the prawns.
Let's deep-fry the kushikatsu.
As shown, this is the desired consistency of the batter.
If it is too thick or heavy, add a small amount of water to adjust it.
First, start with the vegetables.
Coat each ingredient with the batter.
Ladling the batter over the ingredients will help to coat them evenly.
Drop off the excess batter.
Then, cover the ingredient with panko, Japanese breadcrumbs.
Heat the vegetable oil to 170°C (338°F) in a pot.
The amount of oil should be enough so that the ingredients are half-submerged.
Lightly press the panko to firmly attach it to the ingredients.
Place the amanaga pepper, asparagus spear, and onion into the oil.
Don't touch them until the surface firms up.
When the batter is slightly browned, flip them over.
Deep-fry until deliciously golden brown.
Thoroughly remove the excess oil
and place the kushikatsu onto a cooling rack.
Let's cook the other ingredients;
the fresh shiitake, cherry tomato, eggplant, and camembert cheese.
Remove the moisture on the surface of each ingredient thoroughly
before coating with the batter to keep the oil from popping.
Be sure to thoroughly coat the cheese with the batter and firmly attach the panko to it
otherwise the batter may fall off and the melting cheese can leak into the hot oil.
You should cook the vegetables first before the oil absorbs the odors of the meat and seafood.
And now, let's deep fry the beef, prawns, and sashimi-grade scallop.
The ingredients of kushikatsu are small so you should choose finely ground panko.
Finely ground panko goes into the gaps of ingredients and firmly attaches together.
This will help deep-fry the kushikatsu evenly and create a light, crispy texture.
You can also grind regular panko with a food processor
or crumble it into smaller pieces in a plastic bag.
Meat and seafood easily become tough
so deep-fry them at a relatively high temperature,
about 180°C (356°F) for a shorter time.
The beef and scallop are tender and delicious at medium rare
but you can cook them as you like.
Kushikatsu is a specialty dish in Osaka,
and many food bars and restaurants specialize in this dish.
Be sure not to dip your kushikatsu in the sauce twice
because you are sharing the sauce with other customers.
Double-dipping is considered bad manners and unsanitary.
Bet Kushikatsu goes excellent with beer. A pity no beer today.
If you want to dip the kushikatsu more than once,
scoop the sauce up with a slice of cabbage leaf,
which is usually served as a free condiment.
If you are cooking it at home,
you can dip it as many times as you want
if your family or friends don't mind it.
Good luck in the kitchen!

The Zozo Demon - What You Should Know Before Using a Ouija Board - Duration: 8:17.
Imagine that your friend comes over one day and brings a Ouija board with him.
You both sit and start to try to contact evil spirits, your skeptical eye watching every
move the planchette makes and trying to figure out if your friend's pulling your leg.
Suddenly the planchette starts moving from the letter Z to the letter O, over and over
again rapidly, and after making its presence known, this 'spirit' starts answering questions
about relatives of yours with incredible accuracy.
Creeped out, the next day you get curious and google the name Zozo, only to discover
thousands of similar accounts written across various message boards online.
Hello and welcome to another special episode of The Infographics Show's Greatest Mysteries:
The Zozo Demon.
You don't have to imagine the preceding scenario, because it has in fact happened to thousands
of people around the world.
Whether using ouija boards, automatic writing, or various other spiritual contact techniques,
people all around the world have reported contacting an entity calling itself "Zozo".
With the advent of the internet, people began to share their stories online, each person
shocked to discover that hundreds, if not thousands of others had had the same experiences
as they did.
Possibly more terrifying though is the fact that stories about Zozo have been around for
hundreds of years, with one of the oldest accounts coming from Collin de Plancy's demonic
encyclopedia, the Dictionnaire Infernal.
According to de Plancy, a young girl claimed to be constantly harassed by three evil spirits:
Mimi, Crapoulet, and Zozo.
The demons would torment the girl and force her to walk on her hands, or act indecent
in the company of others.
Eventually she was exorcised successfully, although the priest performing the rite was
warned not to attempt another exorcism by the police.
It's easy to discount old tales as mere superstition, or even to discount modern testimony as simply
flights of fancy that appropriate old legends or scary stories.
It's not so easy however to explain the massive amount of collaborative testimony available
online, specially from people surprised to discover so many others allegedly having contact
with the same entity.
Encounters with Zozo tend to go the same way- contactees will be using a Ouija board or
other spirit contact technique, and Zozo will make its presence known by spelling out its
name.
Typically it will then answer questions that would be difficult for other people around
you to know the answers to in an effort to gain your trust.
Other times it will simply start to spell out expletives.
Contact with Zozo typically results in something tragic happening shortly after- one man claims
that his wife left his daughter in the bath tub and stepped out for a moment, which was
long enough for his daughter to begin drowning.
After rescuing her she was struck ill by a mysterious infection days later.
Another woman claims that on the same day as her contact with Zozo she was hit by a
drunk driver.
People differ on what exactly Zozo is, but whatever it is it's clearly got a bad temper.
Some say that Zozo is a demon, possibly even the ancient Mesopotamian king of wind demons,
Pazuzu.
Others believe Zozo is simply a malevolent entity that appropriated the name because
of growing fear around it.
Yet others believe that Zozo is not a single entity, but rather a name that various evil
or mischievous spirits use to scare us, knowing how scared we have become of contacting the
ill-tempered Zozo.
These people think that spirits may simply be having a bit of fun with us by using the
name, while more evil spirits appropriate it in order to scare us- and fear, they believe,
gives the spirits power.
Whatever its origin, some of Zozo's characteristics involve an attraction to the female sex, preferring
contact with women over men.
Zozo also seems to be attracted to people with suicidal tendencies, depression, or other
psychological disorders.
Researchers claim that these people are more vulnerable to demonic influence, giving a
demon more power over them and making it easier to push them to do extreme things such as
suicide or hurting or scaring others.
Those who claim to have come in contact with Zozo describe sudden and intense feelings
of anger, fear, depression, or generally black thoughts as they talk with Zozo.
Their encounters are typically followed by seemingly bad luck.
Others though are more severely affected, with some claiming to have suffered physical
symptoms such as headaches, sleepwalking, and the appearance of marks and bruises on
their bodies.
This is all quite terrifying- if true.
Along with the host of believers, there are just as many skeptics however, and the preferred
tool of contact with Zozo, the Ouija board, is itself fraught with doubts.
For starters, it's a game manufactured by a major toy company, and many skeptics have
a hard time swallowing the fact that spirits and demons are immediately accessible with
a simple board game.
There may be some merit to that point, but then again, if the world of spirits and demons
is real then who says they need some special, archaic and mysterious method to contact us?
But that's hardly the only criticism leveled at the Ouija board.
In 1972 psychologists ran an experiment to see if people could have paranormal spirit
contact experiences through nothing more than human will- basically they wanted to see if
it was all just in our heads.
For the study, they made up a fictional person named Philip Aylesford and then invited a
group of people to run a séance in order to summon his ghost.
The group eventually made contact with the entity, becoming convinced that they could
feel Philip's presence, hearing knocking sounds coming from the table, felt the table physically
vibrate, and at one point saw the table tilt up onto two legs.
All the while, they had no idea that Philip had been completely made up.
The study proved just how susceptible we can be to believing in the paranormal with just
the smallest amount of prodding.
Yet, if the world of spirits and demons is real, what's to say that a mischievous spirit
or evil demon didn't simply respond to the séance, knowing full well what was taking
place, and reveling in the frustration the entire affair would cause when the participants
were told there was no such person as the one they claimed to be speaking to?
Why would spirits and demons be any different than we are- basically, why wouldn't a spirit
troll a scientific study way back in 1972?
Other skeptics point at the ideomotor effect as an explanation for 'contact' with Zozo
and other paranormal entities.
The ideomotor effect is the subconscious and involuntary movement of muscles, typically
to a very small and likely imperceptible degree.
This effect has been well documented, most famously by the famed Michael Faraday who
built a device to show how the ideomotor effect was responsible for the 'table-turning' fad
that swept supernatural-believing London.
Today, skeptics claim that ouija board communications are nothing more than the subconscious mind
using the ideomotor effect to push the planchette around and give us the answers we are seeking.
Zozo may well be simply a product of our own subconscious pushing a planchette on a ouija
board with movements so imperceptible that even we ourselves are fooled into believing
a supernatural explanation.
Yet that doesn't explain the global internet phenomenon which has seen thousands of people
all claiming contact with the exact same entity.
Skeptics point out the possibility of a mass psychological trend amongst all these believers,
or that potentially every single one of them is simply making up a tall tale.
Both answers could be true, but with just as much hard evidence for either those two
answers as there is for Zozo- that being zero- it's a special kind of irony that the belief
Zozo is not real requires just as much fact-less faith as the belief that it is.
Do you think Zozo is real?
Have you ever encountered this entity?

Nobody has time. Can't have any videos longer than one minute max. Articles

I keep hearing about it over and over and over. Maybe I need to be more
innovative. Maybe my life needs to be more innovative. I gotta keep up. What do
I need to change? What do I need to disrupt? Maybe I need to disrupt myself.
I've been brushing my teeth the same way for a long time maybe that can use some

I've heard and continue to see these nuggets and tips and best practices as

Let's cook the other ingredients;
the fresh shiitake, cherry tomato, eggplant, and camembert cheese.

What is wrong? (19) (Grammar Practice) [ ForB English Lesson ] - Duration: 2:13.
Hello everyone and welcome back to ForB's English lesson video.
My name is Richard and today I'm going to say a sentence and I'd like you to find the mistake.
Are you ready?
All the employees attended to the workshop yesterday.
All the employees attended to the workshop yesterday.
Did you catch that?
Alright, let's try that again but this time a little bit slower.
All the employees attended to the workshop yesterday.
All the employees attended to the workshop yesterday.
Did you catch it?
Alright, let's try that again but this time I will show you the sentence.
Are you ready?
All the employees attended to the workshop yesterday.
Did you find the mistake?
Alright, the mistake is 'to' so we don't need 'to' with the word attend.
If you use 'go', you must use 'to'.
Go to the workshop.
But when you use 'attend', you don't need 'to'.
Attend the workshop.
It depends on the verb.
Alright?
Alright, so the correct way is, "All the employees attended the workshop yesterday."
Alright?
So let's practice this together.
Please repeat after me.
All the employees attended the workshop yesterday.
Great, let's try that one more time.
All the employees attended the workshop yesterday.
Great, so now you know how to use the word 'attend' in a sentence.
My name is Richard.
Remember to please click like, share, and subscribe and I'll catch you next time.

Brighter Image Lab You've Never Seen Us Make A Smile Like This Before! Wait for it (UNICORN) !!! - Duration: 9:51.
hey guys we're sitting here working on how to design some of the shirts that we
have this year about which way to go and which sleeved to actually put them on so
I just want you to know that the new Brighter Image Lab shirts are coming out
they should be here any time so for the people who've been asking or been waiting on
them they're coming but what I want to do is I wanted to tell you a little bit more
this week about it being Christmas and what I've got is I have three or four
people that are actually getting their veneers for Christmas time you guys
should have them this lady right here is out of Alabama we spoke yesterday and
I've been trying for a long time to get you a set of veneers
she sent me a video and I think a lot of her for doing it and she said if I had
this I think this will help me get started in my career my name is Kerry
and she's out of Madison Alabama Kerry you should have these for Christmas
Merry Christmas and I hope that these do everything that you wanted them to do
for you this lady right here her name is Jade Jade I'm sorry we
didn't make your graduation but I hope we make your Christmas I didn't have
time to make these earlier in the year for you and I know that that hurts when
you hope that you can get them in time for graduation I've made them I finally
got to them what you don't know is on the new life smiles everyone that we give
away I do myself I don't have anybody else do them not any part of them I
generally do them all and so when we switch to our system you were in on
maybe an old system and then it took a while to get it transferred I didn't get
you for your high school I didn't make your prom but I'm hoping to make your
Christmas the Jade I appreciate these I appreciate your patience as hard as it
difficult it is for me to do them all sometimes I just don't get to them but I
got one out of Alabama I got here have another one that I can't wait
for you guys to see they are coming out so clear this one's probably one of the
neatest ones I've seen the reason why there's some gap at the gum line is
because they're not all the way on if I can get them on then you'd understand
but they're still wet I've worked all through the night I worked until 2
o'clock in the morning to get maybe even later than 2:00 to get some of these
ready to go today that's her that's her these are going to Atlanta I just spoke
with you on the phone here's one that I've been trying for a long long long
time Jennifer thank you the world for sending me your video I thank you so
much I wish I could have gotten these maybe in the summer or fall they almost
got passed up I did these last night and it was a very challenging case and I was
able to get that done and I'm just so appreciative of what I think these are
gonna do for you Jennifer is a music teacher if you've listened to any of her
samples hopefully I can link her down below or she'll let me do that I think
the world of her I'm not gonna really show her befores but I will show her
afters this little girl needs to smile these are these are some people for new
life smiles that I wanted to get because I thought that if I can change their
Christmas then I can change their New Year and if I can change their New Year
I can change every year after that and so we're going to Atlanta we're going to
North Dakota we're going to Colorado I think the world of these clients see
these are people who've worked with me over the past year to develop a smile that
has an extreme condition something thats really bad something's happened and a
lot of things that put them in a position to where traditionally they
couldn't go about purchasing these things these are people have a smile
that have a right to smile and and I don't think that it's something that
it's something I'm incredibly passionate about so with that we're going to stop
there today I'm going to show you what we're going to go into the next thing of
our vlog so if you'll follow me hey guys Merry Christmas one last time
please let me know you've got Christmas follow me
