Julie Chen Quits "The Talk" - Duration: 23:45.Live from New York City,
it's the Wendy Williams show!
(upbeat theme music)
Now...
Here's...
Wendy!
(audience cheers)
(audience whoops)
(audience cheers)
Just sayin'.
A little somethin', somethin' from me to you.
Thank you for watching today.
And say hello to my co-host LisaRaye.
(audience cheers)
How you doin'?
(audience cheers)
I'm doing okay, let's get started.
It's time for...
Hot Topics!
(audience cheers)
(upbeat music)
(audience cheers)
Thank you.
You know what?
I didn't remember the Emmys were on last night.
(audience laughs)
And nobody caught--
Like, I knew they were in the air
'cause I know the style squad is here today.
But I... I...
I did not...
Did you watch?
Clap if you watched.
(scattered applause)
Oh.
(audience laughs)
Oh.
Well, Game of Thrones won Best Drama and...
(audience applauds) and Marvelous
Mrs Maisel won for Best Comedy.
I don't know what that is, but congratulations.
Now, I do know that I've been voting all along
for the Gianni Versace movie to win every Emmy.
They won seven...
(audience cheers)
including Darren Criss, the one who played Andrew Cunanan.
Yeah, Darren Criss, congratulations.
RuPaul's Drag Race won...
(audience cheers)
Best Reality Competition Show.
And then here's something I found weird.
TV icon Henry Winkler who played The Fonz, he's 72,
he won his first Emmy ever for Barry.
(audience applauds)
That ain't fair, I tell you, that ain't fair, Henry Winkler.
But he was nominated for playing The Fonz
on Happy Days 41 years ago, he played The Fonz.
And so, good for you, Henry Winkler.
(audience applauds)
So Michael Che
and Colin Jost
from SNL,
I don't know their real names,
I just know that I see them there when I watch,
so there they are.
And they were getting criticized for being awkward.
Apparently, they hosted the Emmys.
Funny sketches that were awkward,
reparations for black people at the Emmys, and
like, I don't know all in 'cause I didn't watch,
so I really can't deliver it to you the way I want to.
So I prefer to just move on.
(audience applauds)
The style squad, though, they'll be out here
and we love fashion, so we'll at least be able to...
(audience cheers and applauds)
We'll relate to that and break that down.
You know what I mean.
So Julie Chen is leaving The Talk.
(audience gasps)
I mean, as I was telling you, what else could she do?
She will address her decision today on the show,
a video-taped message, which is great.
You know, I don't wanna see it just on, you know,
social media where we have to read it,
like, from a publicist or something like that.
And I also don't wanna see her go into
The Talk studio
and sit at the head of the table and address it there.
Because even though this is not my favorite woman,
I've always told you that.
You know, she's got nefarious ways...
(audience groans)
in my mind.
Plus, I know people who know her behind the scenes.
(audience exclaim)
Please, look.
(audience laughs)
But be that as it may, I don't think that her walking
into The Talk studio to address this live
will do anybody any good.
People who don't like her from behind the scenes
'cause she's probably treated them nasty, you know.
People who wish that she was out all along
because she probably walks around,
you know, with her shoulders back
'cause my man is the president of the network.
You know, and so, no, we might not earn an Emmy,
but he will buy us one.
(audience laughs)
Oh, puh-leeze.
Oh, puh-leeze.
That show is like four Emmys for...
Anyway,
so I do think that by her addressing it on a video clip
on the show is fair, as opposed to her coming in and--
The gauntlet, like, the gauntlet.
Even I have a heart.
The gauntlet.
So she will remain as host of Big Brother for now, they say.
And who will they get to moderate The Talk?
I don't know.
I don't... I don't...
Care.
(audience laughs and applauds)
Suzanne and I are busy peddling this bicycle
as fast as we can over here at the Wendy Show, right?
Mm-hm.
What do we care for that? Exactly.
We don't care for that. No!
(audience laughs)
I'm just sayin'.
(audience applauds)
So
I don't know who to believe, but Tom Arnold
and reality show producer Mark Burnett,
you heard about this?
They got into a physical altercation.
Now, both men are, like, 60 and 59 or something like that.
Like, they're older, you know what I mean?
They got into it, fisticuffs,
out at some place civilized
where people were able to witness it.
It was like on a red carpet going to some place civilized.
So yesterday, Tom filed a police report
claiming that Mark tried to kill him.
(audience laughs)
Now, you know, Mark Burnett is married to that lovely,
religious woman, Roma Downey Jr, Touched By An Angel.
And Mark Burnett and she have a very specific
path in their lives, which is a beautiful one,
including, you know, angel wings and stuff.
But
maybe Mark did charge.
Maybe he did take off his wings for a moment and charge
Tom.
Well, the Blast got the video.
You take a look and then we'll talk.
Squint and look.
He lost his mind there and tried to...
It was like he was gonna kill me.
First of all, I've only got working vocal cord,
so I'm going to the doctor right now.
So I hope, and by the way...
You know, this is a guy that's worth hundreds of millions
of dollars, Mark Burnett, who just tried to murder me
at a party.
Literally tried to murder me.
(audience exclaims)
Okay.
Well, apparently, sources at the party all have
conflicting reports and I really don't know what to believe
because Tom does have a brand new show
that coincidentally, starts tonight.
Hold on a moment.
Some said that Mark started the fight by choking Tom out.
(audience laughs)
Others say that Tom started the fight by pushing Mark
and then ripping his chain off.
(audience exclaims)
What the 1988-hip-hop is going on?
(audience applauds)
Tom apparently fought with him, not physically,
but fought with him verbally a few days before
over the phone,
wanting the Trump tapes.
Now, you know, Mark Burnett
was the producer of The Apprentice, Donald Trump's show.
And Tom is on a quest to find the tape where specifically,
Donald uses the N word.
So he asked Mark Burnett, who is the king of the show,
you know, where's the tapes?
And Mark said, I don't have them, I don't know,
I don't have them.
So Tom Arnold has built a whole show around where's...
You know, maybe a special, like, who's in Grant's Tomb.
Geraldo did it years ago.
It was a one-time special, maybe an hour-and-a-half.
We all watched, boom.
Tom, so this is your new thing, okay.
First of all, I do believe Trump used the N word,
so I really don't need the tapes.
Second of all...
(audience applauds)
Second of all,
his show is called The Hunt For The Trump Tapes.
It premieres...
(audience laughs)
It premieres tonight on Viceland at 10.30.
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah.
You know.
(audience applauds)
So speaking of Tom,
Rosanne isn't happy that her character's being killed off.
Oh, wah, wah, wah.
Wah, wah, wah.
So she spoke on YouTube on a show called Walk Away.
Take a look at this and then we'll discuss.
What's gonna happen to Rosanne Connor?
Oh, they killed her.
They killed her? Yeah.
They had her die of an
opioid overdose.
So it wasn't enough to just do what they did to me,
they had to
so cruelly
insult
the people who love that family in that show.
They had to cruelly insult them.
But you were in the writer's meeting
when they first insinuated or introduced
Rosanne to having an opioid problem.
So actually, you were part of the setup.
It's, like, perfect, all right.
So you acted up and now, you're not on the show,
but the character that you introduced us to,
this new Rosanne of 2018, had a problem with opioids.
I don't understand how this show is gonna go on.
You can't have a sitcom where somebody dies.
You just can't.
But that's a way of showing you, Rosanne,
that no matter what happens,
I guess they're not having you back.
This show won't last for more than six months.
Sorry, Sara Gilbert.
Sara Gilbert... (audience applauds)
I know you're going through a lot right now.
I know you're going through a lot.
You know, you got your talk show with the Julie Chen
and then you got this Connor thing and you know, poor thing.
Look, if you care, everyone, Connors premieres
October 16th on ABC.
(audience applauds) Hey, you know what?
I gotta tell you something.
When I got here today, because we left all the windows
in the studio up last night,
you know, 'cause Snoop was here yesterday.
(audience cheers)
Honey child.
He was here. (audience applauds and cheers)
He was here, he's coming back.
He'll be back in a couple of weeks
to actually sit on the couch, so we can talk,
but he just popped by.
But when he pops by...
(audience laughs)
I think I'm just getting over my contact.
(audience laughs)
But this is how much, you know,
and I know you show me, if you watch the show,
you know, loving Snoop and everything.
A lot of you all thought I wanted to have
an affair with Snoop. (audience gasps)
Oh yes, oh, yeah, no, no, they saw it.
They saw twinkles in my eyes, in his eyes, or something.
No, it's not like that.
It's that he's been a family friend for so long
and I've been around for so long and I know,
I've probably said salty things about Snoop in his career,
and then because of social media,
I know he's said salty things about me,
but that is not the point.
We're now grown people and I love the love that we have.
Hold on.
Hold on, hold on.
And I love the love that we have.
And let me show you the receipts of just how long we have--
Plus more, 'cause I've known Snoop
since before I met big Kev.
But look, look at little Kev.
Uh-huh, uh-huh.
Like, he grew up, he's like, who's that?
I said, that's uncle Snoop.
(audience laughs)
I mean, he's been around my family for quite some time
for good, better, and indifferent.
So it was just nice to having him here yesterday
and thank goodness for open windows.
(audience applauds)
Oh, we'll have to open them again.
He's coming back here on--
They're remind me, through the thing.
September 26th, he's going to sit on the couch, all right.
There. (audience applauds)
So it's confirmed.
I mean, people have been speculating, but it's confirmed.
Khloe Kardashian, she's 39.
She is dating this 20-year-old boy.
(audience gasps)
Did I tell you I saw Yonis on Wall Street the other day?
And I am not good at recognizing people
when they're not on the set or whatever.
I'm terrible with faces.
But he looked every bit like Yonis, young and lost.
Lost! (audience laughs)
He had people around him, you know,
telling him which way to go and stuff and just...
Uh-huh.
No, I didn't say anything.
Like, what am I going to say? Who cares?
But I saw him because he was so much taller than everyone
and really good-looking in person.
I mean, I get it, Kourtney.
But she's not with him anymore.
She went even younger.
(audience gasps)
So that boy from Black-ish, you know...
(audience exclaims)
Yeah, yeah...
Excuse me.
Excuse me.
They're falling on the ground.
They're not dancing in the streets.
They're clutching their pearls.
I'm sorry, co-hosts.
Luka Sabbat is taken.
He's from Grown-ish and that's why they're clutching
'cause that's such a big show.
And he's a really big kid right now,
but the point is that he's a kid, he's 20.
So on Friday night, they were at the Chateau Marmont,
which, by the way, you don't go there
if you don't want to be flashed and have pictures taken of.
His arms were around her waist and everything like that.
Well, he's... (audience exclaims)
He's been a family friend for a long time.
So people were saying, well,
maybe they were going as family friends.
You ever have a family friend that goes out with you
and guides you by the waist?
It's not a big deal, I get it.
But overnight, somehow we found out
that this is the real deal.
Um.
I think that this is about Kourtney wanting to become
more interested or interesting
'cause she's not interesting on that show.
And I don't know that this is the way to do it.
I mean, the only one who wins with this is the boy
'cause he's 20, messing around with a 39-year-old
mother of three.
You know, so you get all kinds of stripes
in the boys' club for that.
In the girls' club, not so much.
Like, you know, not for nothing, girls.
And you know, I'm a bit of a cougar.
(audience whoops) Well...
In my mind, you know, I like a young man, but not 20.
Like, 20 is not even an effort.
You don't have to do anything,
but tell him you've got goldfish and pineapple juice.
Come on over, come on, come on.
(audience applauds)
I don't like it.
I don't like it.
All right, so what else?
Let me do one more story because we're about to do the--
Oh gosh, we're doing the Inside Scoop, okay.
Wait, no, no, no, not yet, okay.
Okay, okay, okay, okay.
So look, so New York Magazine just released
this bombshell interview or story divulging all the details
of Woody Allen, who's now 82,
and his wife-daughter, Soon-Yi...
(audience exclaims)
who is, she's now 47, though.
Don't you remember her being 12?
Yes! She's 47.
Well, there's so much to talk about.
So here with the Inside Scoop is one of our friends.
Hit it.
(upbeat music)
(audience applauds)
All right, Chloe Melas has been riding with our show
since the beginning, so she knows that we like her
to give it to us good. I'm your ride-or-die.
Yup, and she's from CNN, so. Yes.
Yes. (audience cheers)
So what's going on?
Soon-Yi and...
Okay, so let me just explain why this article
is such a big deal.
Soon-Yi has not spoken out in 25 years, Wendy.
No one's ever heard from her.
And there've been so many allegations swirling
this entire time because it was one of the biggest scandals
in Hollywood when Woody Allen and Soon-Yi got together.
Well, Soon-Yi tells New York Magazine
that she's chosen to speak out for the first time now
in the midst of this #MeToo movement.
Now, she is Mia Farrow's adopted child.
Then she met Woody Allen, but then Woody adopted her?
So he actually did not adopt her
and I'm gonna get to that.
But they're still living like father and daughter.
Well, so listen, Soon-Yi wants to set the record straight.
Soon-Yi says that a lot of what has been said
about Woody Allen is not true.
So what happened was, Wendy, is that when Soon-Yi
was 11 years old, Mia Farrow started dating Woody Allen.
Woody Allen starts coming into their lives,
starts hanging around the house.
But she says that he was never a father figure to her,
that they were never married, Mia Farrow and Woody Allen,
and that Woody lived in another apartment down the street.
So that she never really saw him like that
and never had feelings of attraction to him, she claims,
when she was a teenager.
That sounds a bit believable.
Go on. So she breaks her ankle
in the 11th grade. Okay.
Woody Allen is home and says, your foot's really swollen,
you need to go to the hospital.
And that's when they start becoming more friendly
with one another and she thought,
thank you so much for looking out for me,
because she claims Mia Farrow was not a good mother.
I'll get to that. (audience gasps)
Yeah, you should get to that probably now.
Okay, well, she goes off to the college
and she goes to college late.
She's 21 years old when she goes to college.
She comes home from break,
she's hanging out with Woody Allen.
They're watching a movie together and he kisses her,
she says in the article. (audience gasps)
She's 21, though, and he's not her father.
And she says sparks flew
and they fell in love with each other
and they started this affair. Okay.
So they kept it secret from Mia Farrow.
Well, Mia Farrow is over at Woody Allen's house one day
and finds naked pictures of Soon-Yi...
(audience gasps)
Mia Farrow explodes and according to Soon-Yi
in this New York Magazine article,
she's calling Woody Allen, making a lot of threats
and claiming that Soon-Yi is suicidal
and saying all these things.
Soon-Yi says in the magazine, she was never suicidal.
She was actually running to payphones to call Woody and say,
I really care about you, I'm down to continue this affair
if you are.
And so they continue to see each other.
And then in the midst of all of this, Wendy,
Mia Farrow comes out to the world and publicly says
that Woody Allen allegedly molested her daughter,
Dylan Farrow, who was six years old at the time.
Okay, look, just please pay attention.
Okay, so just so you guys, make sure you're still with us.
So Woody Allen and Mia Farrow had two children together,
Ronan Farrow, who's the one breaking all those
Weinstein stories and Les Moonves stories,
and Dylan Farrow.
Well, Dylan has come out even recently
and written articles and saying, look,
Woody Allen touched me inappropriately,
my dad, when I was a little girl.
Well, this ends up going to court
and Woody Allen's name is cleared.
And Soon-Yi and Woody Allen continue to--
So it's alleged that he did not touch her,
but that this is Mia coaching her.
Yes, so Woody Allen has claimed that Mia Farrow was
coaching Dylan to say these things
because she was so upset about Woody Allen dating
her adopted daughter Soon-Yi.
Soon-Yi claims in the article that Mia Farrow told somebody,
you're gonna take my daughter Soon-Yi away from me,
I'm gonna take your daughter away from you,
meaning Dylan. Wow.
And that this was all made-up.
So that's why Soon-Yi is speaking out now, Wendy,
because she wants to clear her husband's name
'cause there's a lot of celebrities who say they don't wanna
work with Woody Allen anymore now that--
He seems to have bounced back just fine.
So, they-- I mean,
They have been married for 25 years.
There are quite a few celebrities that, you know,
And... On the up-high and down-low,
definitely support him. Right.
Let's get-- Now, you mentioned something
about Mia Farrow and the abuse allegations from Soon-Yi.
Yeah. So...
Soon-Yi claims that Mia Farrow was not this angel mother,
that she would hang her upside-down from her feet
to make the blood rush to her head to help make her smarter
'cause Soon-Yi claims that-- Oh.
Well, take a note. Soon-Yi claims that
Mia Farrow said that she was not smart
and that she was allegedly verbally abusive to her
and would throw her in the bathtub.
And just all these different things allegedly happened.
Okay, so what about Dylan?
Because in two seconds, they're gonna tell me--
Doug, how much time do we have?
Well, Dylan Farrow has come out--
Dylan Farrow-Sinatra. And Dylan Farrow has said
that she's very upset. Wait, another girl, okay.
Dylan Farrow's very upset that this article was written
in New York Magazine because it was written by
a good friend of their family.
And she says, how can an article be unbiased
if it's written by a family friend of ours
for 30 or 40 years?
And she goes on to say Woody Allen molested me
when I was seven years old, part of a documented pattern
of inappropriate, abusive touching that a led a judge to say
there was no evidence I was coached and that it was unsafe
for me to be in Woody Allen's presence.
The idea of letting a friend of an alleged predator
write a one-sided piece attacking
the credibility of his victim is disgusting.
So there you have...
Oh. That.
But you keep mentioning Frank Sinatra,
so should we explain to everybody what that is about?
That takes two seconds.
Show a picture of Woody and the boy
and next to Frank Sinatra.
You don't even have to--
Look, okay.
And show--
Okay, who's the father?
So Mia-- That's it.
Mia Farrow had been in a relationship with Frank Sinatra
before she got together with Woody Allen
and then there have been rumors that she ended up
having an affair with Frank Sinatra
when she was with Woody Allen
and that he's actually the father, not Woody.
And Woody says that he thinks Frank Sinatra
could possibly be Ronan's father, but that
he's annoyed about that because he paid child support
the entire time. Rich people's problems!
Thank you, Chloe Melas, for being here.
For more information on these stories,
go to wendyshow.com.
We've got more great show, everybody.
Up next, my style squad is here to break down the fashions,
the hits and the misses from last night's Emmys.
So grab a snack and come on back!

CAPTAIN MARVEL Official Trailer - Avengers 4 Easter Eggs & Things You Missed - Duration: 8:13.We're back in the 90s for the first awesome Captain Marvel trailer and boy does it look
fantastic!
Yippee-ki-yay, movie lovers, it's Jan here and in this video I'm breaking down the trailer
for loads of marvellous easter eggs and crucial details you might have missed.
And to celebrate the Captain Marvel trailer, I'm kicking off a new superhero giveaway,
so make sure you're subscribed to my channel and leave me comment below on the trailer
for a chance to win!
The first detail you might have missed comes in this brief shot in a lab deep inside a
SHIELD building.
If you zoom in really close, you'll see Nick Fury with a gun presumably ready in case the
Skrull on the operating table wakes up.
And notice how Fury is holding what looks like some kind of cold pack on his left eye.
Now, obviously, elsewhere in the trailer we see a younger Fury before the injury that
led him to wear an eyepatch in the other MCU movies.
So, I think that what we're seeing in this scene is the aftermath of a fight with a Skrull
which caused Fury's left eye injury and led him to have to wear an eye patch.
Also facing away from us is someone else who looks to me like it could be Ben Mendelsohn.
You might know him as Krennic from Rogue One, but in Captain Marvel he's playing the alien
Skrull, Talos, who arrives on earth and shape-shifts into human form to hide among us in plain
sight.
Talos is the leader of the Skrulls who have been at war with the alien Kree race and he
arrives on Earth to pose as a SHIELD agent and secretly lay the groundwork for a Skrull
invasion.
And this scene gives us a glimpse of how perfectly he seems to be blending in!
And as that shot of Talos and Nick Fury appears, the trailer drops the following voiceover
line from Samuel L. Jackson: "space invasion".
Now that's another subtle indication that Captain Marvel is drawing from the "Secret
Invasion" comic-book crossover storyline.
In that story, it's revealed that the shape-shifting Skrulls have actually taken the place of many
of Marvel's superheroes, so it'll be interesting to see if the Captain Marvel movie gives any
hints as to whether any of our favourite MCU characters are actually secret Skrull imposters!
And that shocking shot of Captain Marvel thumping what seems to be a poor old lady on the train
might have confused you if you weren't familiar with the Skrulls.
But I suspect Carol's seen whoever she was chasing on top of the train shape-shift into
a human form, or it could be that something in the way the old lady smiles at Carol triggers
a memory or a reaction from her Kree background, making her think this woman's a Skrull.
I wonder whether the real twist will be that she's really is just an old lady and the attack
might put Carol on the authorities' radar which could be how she eventually ends up
at SHIELD and meeting Nick Fury.
"So you're not from around here?"
"It's hard to explain" The trailer also teases some cool new details
about Captain Marvel's origins which as Carol Danvers says are definitely complicated.
Marvel's confirmed this won't be your typical superhero origin story as the movie will begin
with Carol Danvers already having her powers and she'll be part of a Kree elite unit called
Starforce.
The trailer teases a few shots of her fellow Kree teammates.
On the right of Carol Danvers in the Starforce shot is Minn-Erva, played by Gemma Chan.
Minn-Erva is an elite sniper and was the star of the team before Carol joined, so you can
expect some rivalry between them in the movie.
There's Korath there, who you'll have seen in Guardians of the Galaxy as the Kree mercenary
who'd been sent by Thanos to retrieve the Orb which contained the Power Stone.
Because we're going back in time this will be a younger Korath, though he's still played
by the same actor.
I suspect that the Captain Marvel movie will show us why he and Ronan ended up allying
themselves with Thanos by the time of the Guardians of the Galaxy movie.
By the way, Ronan appears very briefly in the trailer with his back to us in this shot
here.
In charge of the team is Jude Law whose character I think could be responsible for wiping Carol's
memories.
"I keep having these memories."
"I see flashes."
"I think I had a life here."
"But I can't tell if it's real."
The assumption so far with Law's character is that he's playing Mar-vell, however, nobody's
been able to confirm who his character actually is, meaning it could be part of a twist.
Let me know what you think.
OK, so this is a scene of an experiment or procedure that I suspect Jude Law's character
may be performing on Carol.
Interviews with Brie Larson and Kevin Feige have confirmed Captain Marvel is part-human,
part-Kree in the movie, as in the comics, and let's just say this scene feels like she's
being turned into a Kree Winter Soldier.
This could be a twist on how she receives her powers in the comics where she was caught
in a special piece of Kree technology that altered her DNA making her a human-Kree hybrid
with superhuman powers.
Based on the trailer, there is another possibility for how Carol gets her powers and that's when
she approaches some wreckage and seems to be enveloped in a wave of blue light.
This might also match with another shot in the trailer where she falls back and then
you see blue light around her hand.
An earlier version of the beeper that we saw in the Avengers: Infinity War post-credits
scene makes an appearance in the trailer.
Although it's different, the buttons which are visible do seem to the match the device
used in Infinity War.
The later version appears to be an enhanced or augmented model with additional attachments
to the top and bottom.
The Infinity War model has also aged significantly and the extra pieces may be necessary to be
able to communicate with Captain Marvel wherever she's located at the time of Thanos acquiring
the Infinity Gauntlet.
There's also some really interesting foreshadowing for Avengers 4 in this bit of voiceover from
Nick Fury: "We have no idea what threats are out there."
"We can't do this alone.
We need you."
I think we'll hear that line towards the end of this film, perhaps as Captain Marvel's
having to leave Earth for some reason.
Nick Fury will probably be letting Carol know that he may need to use the beeper to contact
her again in the case of an emergency, which is, of course, exactly what happens at the
end of Infinity War.
There's also an intriguing line at the end of the trailer:
"I'm not who you think I am."
Notice there's a head just at the bottom of the frame.
I think that could be Monica Rambeau the daughter of Maria Rambeau who's Carol's air force colleague
and friend who we see earlier in the trailer.
Maria Rambeau, Monica's mother, goes by the call sign "Photon" and in the comics, her
daughter Monica is actually the first female Captain Marvel.
This is an interesting easter eggy twist of sorts and probably a wink by Marvel to comic
book fans, but what I think is happening in this scene is that either Carol is revealing
her superhero alter-ego to her fellow pilot Maria or perhaps Maria has died and Carol's
telling her friend's daughter that she's not the right person to look after her.
And if that is the young Monica in the bottom of the shot, then it might be a tease for
a future super-powered Monica Rambeau in the MCU.
Another comic book nod comes with several shots of Carol Danvers with a helmet.
And if you look here, you can see the helmet is being used to create her classic Mohawk
haircut from the comics.
And let's just appreciate this amazing final shot of Captain Marvel fully powering up,
glowing bright and her eyes turning into pure light.
Captain Marvel's powers include the ability to absorb huge amounts of cosmic energy and
when she takes on enough she's goes "binary".
And there's also a cool easter egg on the Captain Marvel poster as well.
If you look very carefully, you'll spot the tail end of a cat here.
That's a nod to the comics where Carol has a pet cat called Chewie, named after Chewbacca
from Star Wars.
The thing is that Chewie isn't actually a cat, it's a member of an alien species called
the Flerken!
And there was another allusion to the feline-like alien on some Captain Marvel cupcakes given
out at an event held at Marvel Studios!
Notice that cupcake with what look like a cat's ID tag decoration on it, well that's
had the internet wondering whether comic-book Chewie will be renamed in the MCU as Goose!
That would seem a bit weird given that Disney own Star Wars, but then again, it would certainly
fit well with the Top Gun allusions in the trailers!
Also on the poster are the words Higher, Further, Faster, which is a tagline from Captain Marvel's
comics, specifically a run by writer Kelly Sue DeConnick whose work has been a particular
influence on this film.

Naomi Osaka Stops By - Duration: 3:45.- Please welcome, Naomi Osaka.
(upbeat music)
Yeah, yeah.
Well, let me ask you, what was the first thought
that ran through your head when you won.
- Well, I dunno, I still felt
like the match was still going.
So, I just thought, that I didn't really think it was real.
- Let me ask you this, were you nervous?
(applause)
I mean, you were playing your lifelong idol,
Serena Williams, and you even said that.
Were you nervous to play her?
- Well no, because I've played her once before,
I just think since it was the Grand Slam final
that it felt like a different experience.
- Yeah.
Did you know that you made some amazing shots?
(applause)
No, Naomi, see you don't understand.
For me, you know, I can't play tennis at all.
I mean, at all.
I watched the entire match, because I love championships.
You made some shots where, even Serena,
gave you a round of applause for some of the shots you made.
- I didn't know it at the time, but.
- You didn't know it at the time.
- Hearing you say it feels really good,
so, thank you.
- Yeah.
(applause)
And, now, during the ceremony,
the ceremony brought you to tears.
What were you feeling at that moment?
- Like, really happy because, Serena,
she told me some stuff, and I hugged her.
I've always wanted to hug her, I know that sounds weird.
- That don't sound weird to me.
Did she say something encouraging to you, was it funny?
- No, it was just like, she was saying, like,
she was proud of me.
And for me that's just something
I never thought I would hear,
because I grew up watching her.
So, just, for her to even acknowledge, that I'm,
like, my existence, I dunno.
That just felt, like, really surreal.
- No, I thought it was such a classy ceremony,
that Serena first acknowledge you the win.
Because, you know, all that had went on during the match,
that was a whole news story, we're not gonna get into that.
But I'm talking about, after the match was over,
when you all were about to receive your trophy,
she told the audience,
" No, this is her first Grand Slam championship,
"and she played her heart out,
"and she deserves everybody's love and respect".
I thought that was so cool for her to do that.
You know.
She wasn't up there being bitter, because,
I mean, you finna break a lot of records.
(applause)
Yeah, yeah, you gonna break a lot of records.
You gonna major.
I heard that your father was your first coach.
How did he feel about your win?
- Well, he didn't really say anything.
He just said that he was really happy,
and he was proud.
But honestly, it felt better coming from Serena.
(laughing)
(applause)
- Yeah, Dad, it was nice, Dad, it was good and dry.
I think you're a really, really nice person.
You're very shy, stay that way.
I think you're just a fabulous player,
and I wanted to put you on my show and say that to you.
That what you did was outstanding,
and you deserved to be really touted for that.
And really critical.
Because that was a great performance, young lady.
Congratulations!

Soccer dream playing around with Jesus and the Apostles - Duration: 4:31.Hi guys this one's gonna be a real quick one.
One of the things that I used to love to do before Christ came into me was soccer.
I used to love playing soccer, I used to actually like playing video games.
As far as video games I used to like playing soccer games, basketball games, a few little
adventure games, racing games, mostly competition games.
And mostly with a friend.
With a good friend near me, we used to just joke around and play with each other.
But after Jesus came I just felt convicted that this stuff is for children, time to grow up.
But I did miss it a little bit, I missed more than the game itself, just that feeling of
being with a friend.
You know, joking around used to score a goal on him, you're like, "Yeah!!"
You know just like laughing and playing around.
That was more fun than actually the game itself.
And I never really played against the computer.
I mean I did to get better so I could beat my friend, but it was more about hanging out
with a buddy.
You know, drinking a beer, having some fun.
Whatever we used to do back in the day.
But after I found Christ, He read my heart that I used to miss that camaraderie between
friends, you know?
So one night, this was a very powerful dream, it was not a vision, this wasn't real it was
just a dream, but it was really cool.
So I thought I'd share it with you.
So in the dream I'm flying in the air and I'm flying in the clouds and all of the sudden
I see Jesus and the Apostles.
And so I go, I fly in the air near them and Jesus has a soccer ball.
He's like, "All right guys let's split up into two teams."
So I guess it was seven on seven right?
Because there's 12 Apostles and then Jesus and then me.
I don't know where Stephen was or whoever got that Apostleship after him, he wasn't there.
I don't know the names of everybody there, all I know is Jesus there and the Apostles, I knew that.
And so Jesus is on my team and we're just playing soccer you know, in the air.
And it wasn't like a flat field, it was kind of there was two goals but we could go down
and up because it's in the air.
Sometimes they would kick and it would go low, you would fly down to get it.
So it was kind of multidimensional.
This was all for fun.
You know I just remember the end, where it was like a tie game and I remember there was
like time was running out for the game.
I just remember it was even and then I stole the ball and I start flying on the right side
and I see Jesus and He went like this, like pass me the ball, so I passed Him the ball.
And as soon as He touched it, He kicked it right back to me and I just kick the ball
to the top left corner of the goal and we win the game and we all start hugging and
celebrating and having a good ole time.
And so know this, once you actually find Jesus and meet Him face to face, He's gonna have
a lot of fun with you.
He's taken me to ancient days to show me the days of Israel and He's taken me to future times.
I'll get into that too later on in some other videos.
But it's not gonna be all serious.
Once you find Him, you're gonna have a better time then you did in the world.
When I gave up movies Jesus at nights, even to this day had one a few nights ago, where
Jesus actually puts me in like a movie scenario like an adventure and He's like the director
and the writer, right?
Like this epic battles.
Long, awesome adventures that sometimes have to do with warfare, beating demons, all sorts of stuff.
I might share some of these dreams that Jesus gave me with what I call, "The Epic Movie"
Directed by Jesus.
But you guys just fall in love with Him, man.
The more you give the more you get.
In the name of Jesus I pray that you see Him soon, Amen.

Scale Your Business Using Influencers - Duration: 6:36.Take the example of someone who's built a store
and brand that's essentially selling branded apparel,
maybe some print-on-demand stuff,
maybe a hybrid of also selling some other products as well.
Not necessarily building a singular company,
like SkinnyMe Tea
because a lot of our audience are still in that process
of testing a lot of different products.
What's an influencer strategy?
Say you find a product that works
and you're building a brand sort of around a niche
that you're selling this product in your brand associated with it.
What's a good first step for people at that stage
to do a really valuable test for influencer marketing?
I think even before that stage, while they're still in the testing stage
a few of the companies that I've been working with
have been in this testing stage,
have just been potentially still just drop shipping a product
before they look at that is worth pursuing and then getting manufactured themselves.
It's been an amazing way for them to be able to create a native platform,
native content at scale.
They've used influencer marketing more so as a content generation machine.
So, rather than paying a photographer to do a shoot
or just getting your friends to create video content for your brand or something,
influencers are really, really skilled content creators
and one way that you can do it--
at least, a few of them that have been using Hey to do it
they've been creating just product for content post.
So, rather than a product for post
where we give the influencer your product and they post on it in return
you give the influencer the product that you're testing out
and then they create whatever type of content.
Like, say, whether that's video content or still imagery,
whatever, gifs, memes,
whatever you want created for your brand.
And, because they are recognizable figures as well
at the same time,
that social proof element is able to really, really help
in kind of that content creation stage as well,
being able tag the influences in,
whether you do end up paying them to promote that to their audience as well,
and being able to kind of, at least, on Facebook,
where you target to that audience, too.
There's a lot of different ways
and I think that it can start at that testing stage in terms of content.
And then, you're able to move into--
as soon as you do have a brand or you do have that focus,
probably, a campaign that I would think of starting out would be--
well, to me, at least on Hey, we say that the four kind of main goals
that most brands have an influencer marketing
when they're starting out are brand awareness,
driving sales, obviously,
increasing your social following and content.
If you think about those goals
and you think about the campaigns that you're able to run to work backward
or reverse-engineer from those goals to achieve success
is just like in any marketing, I guess.
-Yeah. -If you think about the goal
and work backward from that goal to form a strategy,
then you're able to kind of see
the different types of campaigns that you can run.
So, for brand awareness campaign
which is often a really good starting point for a brand
it could be sending out product at scale for gifting to influencers
and literally just a product for post campaign.
With content like we just spoke about, it could be product for content.
And they don't have to post it all,
although, sometimes because they've created
great content for your brand
and if around the content they've created,
they end up posting it anyway,
so it's kind of a double win there sometimes.
With growing a social following,
giveaways are usually the best kind of way to drive that
because they have very clear call to actions in the campaigns.
Again, call to actions in any of these campaign styles
they're going to drive results a lot more than not having one.
So, giveaway maybe like a tag to win competition
is another really good way to start on that platform.
You might want to be getting into influencer marketing
and into Instagram marketing at a similar time,
so you could use your influencer marketing campaign
to kind of explode the initial growth of your account.
For example, one of my friend's brands recently launched--
it's called Bambi Boutique in New Zealand,
and they grew from--
they gave away three beauty packs worth $2,500 each,
and they worked with three different macro, very macro influencers,
like around a million followers each...
-Okay. -But that is a large campaign.
However, they grew from 4,000 to 168,000 followers in one week.
So, they grew 150,000 followers in a week.
I mean, people are worried about Instagram
thinking you're not able to achieve the same results
as you used to wherever else.
Like these examples,
while they're not always all that easy to replicate
are an incredible example of the way
that you still can explode your growth and it is possible.
So, if you know something is possible like,
of course, much more likely to push to achieve it.
Then with sales generation campaign,
a really good way to just test out
whether influencer marketing is working for you
and testings like diminishing returns if you're purchasing multiple posts
is just creating unique personalized discount codes
for the influencers to use with their followers.
Then, if you can see that it is generating sales
and they are bringing in revenue for your company
you can say that that's worth reinvesting in.
Very cool.
Now, to track this you're mainly using UTM parameters
in the links in the bio, is that accurate?
Yeah. So, there's a few different tracking techniques.
I mean, obviously, the discount codes are one way that you can track.
I would say that each one of those that we just spoke about,
so for each goals, so content following--
