Youtube daily report Sep 29 2018

If you want to know who is calling you on your iPhone without looking at the phone then

what you can do is you can set a separate ringtone for the particular contact.

For example I will select this phone icon and suppose if this is the person, I will

select it.

I will select "Edit".

Go to the "Ringtone" and select any other Ringtone and then select "Done".

Now whenever this person gives you a call you will hear a different ringtone than the

default one.

Kristen Bell's Daughter Asked Her 'Why Is Earth?' - Duration: 9:02.

>> Stephen: EXCITED.

ISN'T THAT NICE?

>> REALLY NICE.

THANKS, GUYS!

>> Stephen: HI.

NICE TO MEET YOU.

I'VE NEVER MET YOU BEFORE.

>> I KNOW.

>> Stephen: BUT I HAVE JUST HEARD THE LOVELIEST THING.

>> REALLY.

>> Stephen: THE WORD IS YOU'RE A LOVELY PERSON IN REAL LIFE.

>> THAT'S VERY NICE.

I HAVE HEARD THE SAME ABOUT YOU, SO THIS IS GOING TO GO GREAT.

>> Stephen: OR DISASTROUSLY DISAPPOINTING.

>> "CAN YOU BELIEVE THEY DIDN'T GET ALONG?"

THAT'S WHAT INCH WILL SAY."

>> Stephen: PEOPLE KNOW YOU FROM "VERONICA MARS," "FROZEN,"

"BAD MOMS," "FORGETTING SARAH MARSHALL."

WHAT I WANT TO KNOW ABOUT THE PROJECT YOU DID LAST YEAR IS YOU

GUEST HOSTED FOR JIMMY KIMMEL.

>> I DID, YES.

>> Stephen: WHEN HE WAS OUT TAKING CARE, WITH HIS WIFE, OF

HIS BOY.

>> I FILLED IN.

I WAS A FIRST LADY.

DON'T GET NERVOUS.

I'M NOT GOING TO ASK TO SWITCH SEATS OR ANYTHING.

BUT I DID ENJOY IT A LOT.

>> Stephen: DID YOU, REALLY?

>> YEAH, I DID.

>> Stephen: HOW MANY NIGHTS DID YOU DO?

>> I JUST DI DID ONE.

>> Stephen: BUT YOU GOT THE BUG.

>> BUT I WILL SAY WHAT AN ENORMOUS UNDERTAKING IT IS.

I DON'T THINK PEOPLE REALIZE.

THEY MUST COME IN FOR A HOW MANY OF HOURS A DAY.

THE THING I HATED IS BETWEEN THE COMMERCIAL BREAKS SOMEONE WITH A

HEADSET WOULD RUN UP TO YOU AND WHISPER SOMETHING IN YOUR HEAD

ABOUT MATH.

"YOU HAVE TO CUT THE 'SARWARS'" AND FOUR MINUTES AND 55

SECONDS."

AND THEY WOULD GO, "ACTION."

AND YOU HAVE TO TALK QUICKER.

IT'S A LOT OF ON-THE-SPOT MATH.

I KNOW I LOOK LIKE I CAN DO MATH, BUT I'M NOT THAT GOOD AT

IT.

>> Stephen: WE RUN THE SHOW DIFFERENTLY.

THE BAND STARTS PLAYING AND I SAY THE WORDS ON THE MACHINE.

>> THIS IS SO MUCH EASIER.

I WILL DO IT HERE NEXT TIME.

>> Stephen: I WOULD LOVE IT IF YOU GUEST HOSTED FOR ME.

DO YOU LIVE IN LOS ANGELES OR NEW YORK?

>> LOS ANGELES.

>> Stephen: OH, I WOULD HAVE TO GIVE YOU AMPLE WARNING.

>> YEAH, YEAH.

>> Stephen: TO FLY IN.

I WAS HOPING, "I DON'T FEEL GOOD TODAY, CAN YOU TAG IN."

>> KRISTEN, CAN YOU COME IN.

>> Stephen: YOU ADDRESSED THE U.N. GENERAL ASSEMBLY

WHYYESTERDAY.

>> I DID.

>> Stephen: WHAT NATION WERE YOU REPRESENTING?

>> ALL NATIONS.

I AM THE GLOBAL ADVOCATE FOR THE HUMANITARIAN PEACE FUND.

>> Stephen: WHAT DOES THAT DO?

>> IT'S EXCITING BECAUSE IT'S THE FIRST OF ITS KIND.

IT'S A PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN THE U.N. AND, LIKE, LOCAL NONPROFITS

AROUND THE WORLD.

SO WE'RE CURRENTLY WORKING IN FIVE COUNTRIES.

WE'RE TRYING TO GET INTO 24.

BUT IT'S-- AND IT'S SPECIFICALLY TARGETING WOMEN.

SO YOU BASICALLY TAKE SOMEONE WHO IS IN THEIR COUNTRY, SEEING

A PROBLEM, A WOMAN WHO SAYS, "I KNOW HOW TO FIX THIS."

YOU GIVE HER FUNDING.

YOU GIVE HER MANAGERIAL TRAINING, TECH TRAINING.

AND YOU TAKE HER IDEA, YOU ALLOW HER TO MAKE HER AREA BETTER.

AND THEN YOU HELP FRANCHISE THAT IDEA TO OTHER SCROIZ EVERYONE ON

EARTH LIVES A BETTER LIFE.

( CHEERS AND APPLAUSE ).

>> Stephen: THAT'S FANTASTIC.

>> YEAH.

>> Stephen: ARE YOU-- WHAT'S YOUR OFFICIAL TITLE?

>> THE GLOBAL ADVOCATE FOR THE WOMEN'S PEACE AND HUMANITARIAN

FUND.

>> Stephen: DOES THIS MEAN YOU ACTUALLY GO AROUND THE GLOBE TO

ADVOCATE?

>> NOT YET.

>> Stephen: BUT YOU WILL EVENTUALLY?

>> YES, YEAH.

WE HAVE SOME TRIPS PLANNED.

BUT I ALSO HAVE A THREE- AND A FIVE-YEAR-OLD SO IT'S KIND OF

HARD FOR ME TO LEAVE THEM AT HOME, EVEN THOUGH I CARE ABOUT

ALL CHILDREN.

>> Stephen: I UNDERSTAND.

>> YEAH.

>> Stephen: THAT'S A REAL CHALLENGE.

A THREE- AND A FIVE-YEAR-OLD.

GIRL, BOY.

>> GIRL, GIRL.

>> Stephen: THAT'S GREAT THEN.

SO BY THREE THEY'RE ESSENTIALLY SELF-ACUALIZED AS A GIRL.

THEY CAN TAKE CARE OF-- HAVE A BOY.

HAVE A BOY.

>> I DON'T KNOW.

OUR THREE-YEAR-OLD IS NUTS, MAN.

SHE'S NUTS.

>> Stephen: WHAT DO YOU MEAN?

>> SHE'S JUST-- SHE'S JUST-- SHE-- SOMETIMES SHE TELLS ME

SHE'S GOING TO KILL ME.

( LAUGHTER ) TRULY.

>> Stephen: DOES SHE GO INTO DETAIL OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT?

>> SOMETIMES WITH A GUN.

>> Stephen: STWIEMS A GUN.

>> I KNOW IT SOUNDS SCARY.

WE'RE TALKING PEOPLE.

DON'T WORRY.

IF I TELL HER, "OKAY, THAT'S A WRAP ON THE CANDY BAR," OR

WHATEVER.

SHE'LL GO, "WELL, I'M GOING TO GET A GUN AND KILL YOU AND I

ONLY LIKE DADDY, YET QTS AND SHE'LL JUST LEAVE THE ROOM.

AND I LIKE -- >> Stephen: DOES DAD, YOUR

HUSBAND, AT THAT POINT TAKE A VICTORY LAP AND GO, "YOU'RE

PERFECT, PRINCESS."

>> NO, IF HE HAD SAID IT SHE WOULD HAVE THREATENED TO KILT

OPPOSITE PARENT.

I KNOW IT SOUNDS REALLY BAD THAT MY CHILD THREATENS TO KILL ME

BUP BUTT SHE DOESN'T HAVE A GUN SO I FEEL LIKE IT'S NOT A REAL

THREAT.

>> Stephen: YEAH, EVERYTHING SOUNDS GREAT.

>> YEAH, THINGS ARE GOOD AT HOME.

>> Stephen: EVERYTHING'S ALL GOOD.

SO DOES-- DO YOUR-- I LIKE-- I LOVE THAT CHILDREN CHALLENGE US.

>> YES.

>> Stephen: A LOT.

>> BIG TIME.

>> Stephen: I LEARNED AT A VERY EARLY AGE, OR MY DAUGHTERS

AT A VERY EARLY AGE, MY FIRST CHILD-- OUR FIRST CHILD IS A

GIRL, AND SHE OUT-DEBATED ME AT AGE SIX.

DO YOU GET INTO, LIKE, DEEP DISCUSSIONS WITH YOUR KIDS?

>> YYES.

SOMETIMES IT COMES SO FAST, THOUGH.

LIKE, THE OTHER DAY, IN RAPID SUCCESSION, I GOT, "IS SANTA

CLAUS REAL?

WHO MADE DOGS?

AND WHY IS EARTH?" ( LAUGHTER )

AND AGAIN, I'M, LIKE, WINGING THE PARENTING THING.

SO I WAS, LIKE, "DOES ANYONE WANT TO GO IN THE POOL?"

( LAUGHTER ) BUT THEN I WILL SAY, I DID FIND

MYSELF IN BED LATER THAT NIGHT GOING, "WHY IS AIRGT?"

( LAUGHTER ).

>> Stephen: I LOVE "WHY IS EARTH?"

>> IT'S A GREAT QUESTION.

>> Stephen: SURE.

THAT'S SORT OF LIKE SAYING, "HOW MUCH IS BLUE?"

>> YEAH, THEY REALLY TURN -- >> Stephen: WHY IS EARTH.

DO YOU HAVE AN ANSWER FOR THAT?

>> I DO NOT.

>> Stephen: WHY SOMETHING INSTEAD OF NOTHING?

THAT'S A DEEP QUESTION.

IS THAT THE THREE-YEAR-OLD OR THE FIVE-YEAR-OLD.

>> THE FIVE-YEAR-OLD.

>> Stephen: THE THREE-YEAR-OLD WILL GET THERE.

THE THREE-YEAR-OLD WILL GET THERE.

YES, IF SHE DOESN'T KILL YOU FIRST.

>> THIS IS TRUE.

THIS IS TRUE.

>> Stephen: SO "THE GOOD PLACE" STARTS SEASON THREE.

>> YES.

>> Stephen: JUST STARTED THIS WEEK.

>> YES!

>> Stephen: CONGRATULATIONS ON THAT.

>> THANK YOU.

( APPLAUSE ).

>> Stephen: THE CHARACTERS IN "THE GOOD PLACE," WE FOUND OUT,

THOUGHT THEY WERE IN THE GOOD PLACE--

>> SPOILER ALERT!

>> Stephen: THOUGHT THEY WERE IN THE GOOD PLACE BUT WERE IN

THE BAD PLACE.

>> YES.

>> Stephen: THIS SEASON THEY'RE ON EARTH.

>> THEY'VE BEEN GIVEN A SECOND CHANCE.

>> Stephen: YOU'RE DEALING WITH A LOT OF DEEP,

PHILOSOPHICAL QUESTIONS.

>> YEAH.

>> Stephen: INCLUDING THE TROLLEY.

>> THE TROLLEY PROBLEM.

>> Stephen: TELL PEOPLE WHAT THE TROLLEY PROBLEM IS.

>> IT'S ONE OF THE BIGGEST PHILOSOPHY QUESTIONS THEY ASK

YOU WHERE IF YOU'RE DRIVING A TROLLEY AND THE TROLLEY SPLITS,

YOU'RE HEADED ONE WAY AND YOU'RE ABOUT TO HIT ONE PERSON, AND YOU

SEE-- YOU'RE ABOUT TO HIT, LIKE, 10 PEOPLE.

BUT YOU SEE IF YOU CAN PULL A LEVER, YOU DIVERT THE TRACK, AND

YOU WOULD ONLY HIT ONE PERSON -- >> Stephen: WHO WOULD

OTHERWISE LIVE.

>> WHO WOULD OTHERWISE LIVE.

WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

DO YOU STAY ON EXPOWRS NOT DO ANYTHING AND KILL 10 PEOPLE OR

PULL THE LEVER AND PURPOSEFULLY KILL ONE PERSON AND SAVE THE 10?

AND IT'S LIKE A BIG QUESTION.

>> Stephen: KRISTEN BELL?

WHAT DO YOU DO?

>> WELL, I-- I WOULD PROBABLY PULL THE LEVER.

SORRY, GUYS.

I WOULD.

BUT DO YOU KNOW THE FOLLOW-UP TO THE TROLLEY QUESTION?

DO YOU KNOW HOW TO-- IN PHILOSOPHY IT GETS TURNED ON ITS

HEAD?

>> NO.

>> WHAT'S YOUR ANSWER.

>> Stephen: WHAT'S MY ANSWER?

>> YEAH.

>> Stephen: I KILL THE GUY.

>> OKAY, GREAT, GREAT, GREAT.

>> Stephen: I KILL THE GUY.

>> HERE'S THE FOLLOW-UP.

YOU'RE A SURGEON.

YOU HAVE 100% SURGERY RATE.

YOU'VE NEVER FAILED.

YOU'RE AT THE HOSPITAL BY YOURSELF.

THERE'S NO ONE ELSE THERE.

>> Stephen: YES.

>> 10 PEOPLE WALK IN, ALL WITH DIFFERENT ORGANS FAILING, RIGHT.

AGAIN, YOU'VE NEVER FAILED A SURGERY.

YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO HELP THEM.

AND THERE'S ONE JANITOR THERE WHO IS CLEANING THE LOBBY.

>> Stephen: I DON'T UNDERSTAND THE QUESTION.

DO YOU KILL THE JANITOR TO SAVE THE 10 PEOPLE?

>> Stephen: OH!

OH!

THEY'RE ORGANS ARE FAILING I NEED TO STRIP HIM FOR PARTS IN

ORDER TO FIX THOSE PEOPLE.

>> CORRECT!

IT'S A TOUGHER ONE BECAUSE PULLING A LEVER IS NOT LIKE

KILLING SOMEONE.

>> Stephen: JUST SOMEONE WILL DIE.

>> CORRECT.

>> Stephen: WHERE YOU ACTUALLY HAVE TO CUT UP THE JANITOR?

( LAUGHTER ) I WOULD TALK--

>> IT'S A GREAT SHOW, YOU GUYS.

IT'S SO FUNNY.

>> Stephen: I WOULD TALK TO THE JANITOR AND SAY, "HOW HAPPY

ARE YOU WITH YOUR LIFE?" >> RIGHT.

>> Stephen: I'D HAVE A CONVERSATION WITH HIM.

>> WHAT IF HE'S SO HAPPY -- >> Stephen: THEN I WOULDN'T

KILL HIM.

>> AND ALL THE PEOPLE IN YOUR LOBBY DIE.

>> Stephen: YEAH.

>> BUT THERE'S KIDS.

>> Stephen: WHAT?

>> IN THE LOBBY.

>> Stephen: SOME OF THE PEOPLE ARE KIDS?

ARE THEY THREE-YEAR-OLDS WHO HAVE THREATENED TO MURDER ME?

>> ONLY ONE OF THEM.

>> OKAY.

CAN I GET BACK TO YOU ON THIS?

>> YES, SURE.

IT'S A HARD QUESTION.

WE DEAL WITH TOUGH STUFF.

>> Stephen: SURE.

THAT'S COMEDY.

Channing Tatum's crazy southern accent in Kingsman Golden Circle - Duration: 3:57.

Hello. It's Jinger.

I live in Florida in the U.S.

It is at the very bottom of southern America.

Southern America has

a unique accent called a 'southern accent'.

When I first heard it

I was like 'What the heck..?'.

It was so different that

I couldn't even imitate.

Channing Tatum

in Kingsman Golden Circle

did a good job speaking with a southern accent.

I would like to share it with you guys.

Shall we begin?

Jinger English

It sounds like a bunch of wang wang sound to me.

And also

there is a thing about a southern accent.

They use y'all all the time.

It means 'you all'.

Honestly, it doesn't sound cool.

It sounds like a country people accent.

American people tend to think

a southern accent doesn't sound cool

and sounds unintelligent.

Channing Tatum has lived in

Mississippi and Alabama.

So he can speak with a southern accent.

But this it how he talks for real.

Florida is a part of southern America.

But there are a lot of retired people from other states.

People from all over the States.

Some of them have southern accents

some of them don't.

More people around me don't have southern accents.

But when you travel up

I heard more people speaks with southern accents.

But even though southern accents don't sound cool

it doesn't mean people are not cool.

You may think southerns accents don't sound intelligent

it doesn't mean people are unintelligent.

So you should never judge people

with their accents and pronunciations.

You can tell how intelligent a person is from

vocabularies and expressions

or how correct grammar is.

It's important to work on your pronunciations.

But it's not everything.

I hope you work on

vocabularies, expressions and grammar too.

Native speakers think

excellent vocabularies are more important than

perfect pronunciations.

Korean people tend to care too much about pronunciations.

Well, we care what other people think too much..

I don't blame them.

Because when I was a beginner

I judged people with their pronunciations.

But this is not the best way.

Pronunciations are not everything.

My name is Jinger.

Colbert Interviews Trump's New White House Attorney - Duration: 6:17.

WITH SO MUCH GOING ON THIS WEEK IT'S EASY TO FORGET THAT THE

PRESIDENT IS STILL AT THE CENTER OF TWO FEDERAL INVESTIGATIONS

AND HIS LEGAL TEAM HAS BEEN IN CONSTANT DISARRAY.

TRUMP'S PERSONAL LAWYER, MICHAEL COHEN, IS NOW COOPERATING WITH

MUELLER.

HE'S FIRED ANOTHER LAWYER, JOHN DOWD.

HE PUSHED OUT WHITE HOUSE COUNSEL DON McGAHN.

AND HIS FORMER LAWYER TY COBB RETIRED TO SPEND MORE TIME WITH

HIS ENCHANTED TEDDY BEARS.

( LAUGHTER ) SO DONALD TRUMP KEEPS HAVING TO

HIRE REPLACEMENTS.

IN FACT, NEARLY A DOZEN LAWYERS ARE CURRENTLY HELPING THE

PRESIDENT, WHILE ONE IS DEFINITELY HURTING THE

PRESIDENT.

( LAUGHTER ) AND THESE NEW ATTORNEYS FACE A

HUGE AND UNUSUAL CHALLENGE.

THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT'S GOING ON, BECAUSE IT'S NOT CLEAR IF

TRUMP HAS GIVEN THEM A FULL ACCOUNT OF KEY EVENTS HE'S BEEN

INVOLVED IN.

AND FORMER LAWYER MR. DOWD LEFT THEM FEW NOTES OR FILES ABOUT

THE CASE.

ALTHOUGH HE DID LEAVE THIS WELCOME MESSAGE ON THE WALL.

VERY NICE OF HIM.

LOVELY HANDWRITING.

>> Jon: OH, MAN.

>> Stephen: LOVELY HANDWRITING.

SO, APPARENTLY, TO WORK ON TRUMP'S LEGAL TEAM, YOU HAVE TO

BE WILLING TO TAKE ON A CASE YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND FOR A CLIENT

WHO WON'T TELL YOU WHAT HE DID AND WHO MIGHT FIRE YOU AT ANY

MOMENT.

WHAT KIND OF LAWYER WOULD BE WILLING TO DO THAT?

TO FIND OUT, WE HAVE AN EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH THE

NEWEST MEMBER OF DONALD TRUMP'S DEFENSE TEAM.

PLEASE WELCOME ATTORNEY TED MORGAN.

THERE MORGAN, THANK YOU SO MUCH.

( CHEERS AND APPLAUSE ) >> THANKS FOR HAVING ME,

STEPHEN.

>> Stephen: MR. MORGAN, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR JOINING US.

THIS "MR. MORGAN" STUFF, THAT SOUNDS TOO FORMAL.

MY FRIENDS CALL ME "MORG."

>> Stephen: I ASSUME SHORT FOR "MORGAN."

>> OH, YEAH, SURE.

THAT, AND I USED TO PICK UP CLIENTS AT THE MORGUE.

>> Stephen: GOOD TO KNOW.

SO WHAT'S IT LIKE TO BE THE NEWEST MEMBER OF THE PRESIDENT'S

LEGAL TEAM?

IT MUST BE TENSE OVER THERE.

>> IT'S ACTUALLY VERY COOL.

IT'S THE PERFECT LOW-KEY GIG UNTIL THE SKI RESORTS OPEN UP

AGAIN.

YOU KNOW, IT'S PERFECT.

>> Stephen: BUT-- YOU WORK AT THE SKI RESORTS?

>> OH, NO, NO.

I JUST HANG OUT BY THE HOT CHOCOLATE MACHINE WAITING FOR

SOMEONE WHO GETS BURNED AND WANTS TO SUE.

( LAUGHTER ) PLUS, YOU GET THE FREE CHOCOLATE

YOU KNOW.

BUT YOU HAVE TO WATCH OUT.

THAT CHOCOLATE'S HOT.

>> Stephen: SO CAN YOU TELL US YOUR STRATEGY AS A MEMBER OF

THE PRESIDENT'S LEGAL TEAM?

>> NO, NO, STEPHEN, NOT SO FAST, MAN.

I BELIEVE IN SOMETHING CALLED, "ATTORNEY-CLIENT PRIVILEGE."

>> Stephen: OKAY, BUT WHAT ABOUT THE REPORTS THAT YOU DON'T EVEN

KNOW THE DETAILS OF THESE INVESTIGATIONS?

>> OH, YEAH, WELL I ALSO BELIEVE IN SOMETHING CALLED

"ATTORNEY WHAT THE CLIENT DID PRIVILEGE."

BASICALLY, THE LESS I KNOW ABOUT TRUMP, THE MORE I THINK HE'S

INNOCENT.

( LAUGHTER ).

>> Stephen: THAT MAKE SENS.

SO THAT MEANS YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE CASE?

>> I FIND YOU USUALLY PICK UP THE IMPORTANT DETAILS AT THE

MISTRIAL.

( LAUGHTER ) >> Stephen: DOES IT BOTHER YOU

THAT YOU'VE BEEN LEFT COMPLETELY IN THE DARK?

>> NO, NO, NO, NO.

THAT JUST GIVES YOU FRESH EYES, YOU KNOW?

I LIKE TO LOOK AT A TRIAL FROM EVERY SIDE.

I'VE BEEN A LAWYER, I'VE BEEN A DEFENDANT, I WAS A BAILIFF, I

HOUSE-SAT FOR JUDGE JUDY.

HEY, I VOLUNTEER AS OFTEN AS I CAN FOR JURY DUTY?

>> Stephen: YOU VOLUNTEER FOR JURY DUTY?

>> YEAH.

YOU KNOW, IF YOU GET SEQUESTERED THEY PUT YOU UP IN A NICE HOTEL.

DID YOU KNOW A LOT OF THOSE PLACES GIVE YOU A FREE BREAKFAST

BUFFET?

YOU HAVE TO WATCH OUT FOR THOSE PANCAKES, THOUGH, THOSE WAFFLES.

THEY'RE HOT.

>> Stephen: LET ME GUESS SOMETHING HERE, SIR.

DID YOU ALSO GET THAT BATH ROBE FROM THE HOTEL?

>> VERY PERCEPTIVE, STEPHEN.

THANKS FOR BRINGING IT UP.

YOU KNOW WHAT PISSES ME OFF?

THAT JUDGES, THEY THINK THEY'RE THE ONLY ONES WHO GET TO WEAR

ROBES.

YOU KNOW, IT'S A TOTAL POWER PLAY THESE GUYS ARE PULLING ON

US.

( LAUGHTER ) >> Stephen: WELL, YOU'RE--

I'LL GIVE YOU A MOMENT TO CHEW, SIR.

>> GO AHEAD, GO AHEAD.

>> Stephen: YOU'RE DEALING WITH SOME VERY SERIOUS

INVESTIGATIONS HERE.

HAVE YOU BEEN CONTACTED BY THE SPECIAL COUNSEL'S OFFICE?

>> TOTALLY.

I TALK TO MULLER ALL THE TIME.

I KEEP CALLING HIM UP TO ASK IF THIS STUFF THAT TRUMP IS DOING

IS ILLEGAL.

HE'S GOT A VERY GOOD EYE FOR THAT KIND OF THING.

>> Stephen: WHAT ABOUT THE PRESIDENT?

DOES HE UNDERSTAND HOW MUCH LEGAL JEOPARDY HE'S IN?

>> OH, OF COURSE, STEPHEN.

TRUMP-- TRUMP'S A VERY SMART GUY.

WHEN I FIRST MET HIM, HE LOOKED RIGHT AT ME AND SAID, "HOW'D YOU

SNEAK THAT MARGARITA IN HERE?" ( LAUGHTER )

>> Stephen: WAIT, HOW-- HOW DID YOU SNEAK THAT MARGARITA IN

HERE?

>> SEE, YOU'RE SMART, TOO.

( LAUGHTER ) YOU'RE NOT A COP, ARE YOU?

YOU HAVE TO TELL ME IF YOU'RE A COP.

>> Stephen: I'M NOT A COP, MORG.

WITHOUT KNOWING THE DETAILS OF THE CASE, ARE YOU POSITIVE YOU

CAN ACTUALLY WIN?

>> OH, I'M POSITIVE ABOUT WINNING.

I'M ALSO VERY POSITIVE ABOUT LOSING.

THE IMPORTANT THING IS STAY POSITIVE.

( LAUGHTER ) >> Stephen: THAT'S GOOD, BECAUSE

A LOT OF PEOPLE WHO'VE HAD YOUR JOB HAVE GOTTEN FIRED.

HOW DO YOU EVEN ADVISE TRUMP WHEN HE WON'T LISTEN TO HIS OWN

LAWYERS?

>> YEAH, WELL, THAT LAW STUFF'S NOT REALLY TRUMP'S BAG.

SO I JUST TOLD HIM SOMETHING I HEARD IN A MOVIE ONCE.

I LOOKED AT HIM AND SAID, "DONNY, YOU'RE OUT OF YOUR

ELEMENT."

( LAUGHTER ) >> Stephen: WHITE HOUSE ATTORNEY

HELLO!

HI, EVERYBODY.

MY NAME IS NIK DODANI.

THANK YOU.

I GOTTA SAY, IT WAS TOUGH GROWING UP WITH INDIAN PARENTS.

RIGHT BEFORE I WENT TO COLLEGE, I WENT TO MY DAD, AND I WAS

LIKE, "DAD, I WANT TO BE A WRITER."

AND HE WAS LIKE, "THAT'S FANTASTIC, NIK.

BUT ISN'T IT PRONOUNCED LAWYER?" ( LAUGHTER )

"NO, DAD, I WANT TO WRITE BOOKS."

"YES, THERE ARE MANY BOOKS IN LAW SCHOOL."

( LAUGHTER ) DO WE HAVE ANY INDIANS IN THE

I KNOW IT'S NOT ACCURATE OR GOOD, AND SOME OF YOU ARE

BUT WHITE PEOPLE CAN'T TELL THE DIFFERENCE, AND THAT'S ALL I

I WOULD TRY SO HARD TO ACT LIKE THE POPULAR WHITE KIDS JUST TO

NEXT WEEK IS THE HOLY FESTIVAL OF THE VALLEY.

WOMEN, I I WANT YOU TO WEAR BRIGHT, COLOR RECALL AND FLOWY

OUTFITS.

MEN, SAME THING."

( LAUGHTER ) AFTER I WROTE THAT JOKE, I HAD

THIS STRANGE REALIZATION THAT NOT ONLY IS INDIAN CULTURE

REALLY GAIRK BUT GAY CULTURE IS REALLY INDIAN.

( LAUGHTER ) YOU HAVE BRIGHT COLORS AND

RAINBOWS EVERYWHERE.

PEOPLE WORSHIPING GODDESSES, EVERYWHERE.

CONDOM USE, NOWHERE.

( LAUGHTER ) IT'S A PROBLEM.

IT'S SUCH A PROBLEM THAT WHEN MY BOYFRIEND AND I FIRST STARTED

DATING WE AGREED WE WOULDN'T HAVE SEX UNTIL WE BOTH GOT

TESTED.

SO BEING THE ACTOR AND COMEDIAN I AM I WENT TO A FREE CLINIC.

I CARE ABOUT MY SEXUAL HEALTH BUT, LIKE, NOT ENOUGH TO PAY FOR

IT.

ANYWAY, I GET POKED AND PRODDED AND FIND OUT I HAVE TO WAIT TWO

WEEKS TO GET THE RESULTS OF THE TEST.

SO 14 ANXIETY-RIDDEN DAYS LATER I GET A PHONE CALL FROM THE

NURSE FROM THE CLINIC.

"HI, MR. DODONI, I HAVE THE RESULTS OF YOUR S.T.I.

SCREENING."

"THANK GOD, DO I HAVE ANYTHING?" "PER THE CLINIC'S POLICY I HAVE

TO GIVE YOU THE RESULTS OF EACH TEST INDIVIDUALLY."

"OKAY."

"GONORRHEA.

NEGATIVE.

( LAUGHTER ) SYPHILIS.

NEGATIVE.

( LAUGHTER ) "GENITAL HERPES...

NEGATIVE."

( LAUGHTER ) "H.I.V./AIDS..."

( LAUGHTER ) SO, THE THING ABOUT GAY CULTURE

THAT BUGS ME THE MOST-- ( LAUGHTER )

IT WAS NEGATIVE!

NEGATIVE.

THE THING ABOUT GAY CULT THAT YOU ARE BUGS ME THE MOST IS AS A

GAY MAN YOU'RE EXPECTED TO LABEL YOURSELF.

YOU HAVE BEARS WHO ARE THE BIG BURLY GAY MEN, THE TWINKS WHO

ARE THE YOUNGER SLENDER GAYS.

YOU HAVE OTTERS AND EXPUBZ KOALAS, PROBABLY.

WHAT IF WE STARTED DOING THAT TO STRAIGHT GUYS?

YOU WOULD HAVE THE WEASEL.

THAT'S THE GUY THAT PRETENDS TO RESPECT WOMEN IN ORDER TO GET

LAID.

AND THEN YOU HAVE THE...

WELL, I GUESS THAT'S IT.

( LAUGHTER ) ( APPLAUSE )

THE HARDEST THING ABOUT BEING GAY BY FAR IS COMING OUT TO YOUR

PARENTS.

THERE'S NOTHING MORE NERVE-RACKING THAN THAT.

IN INDIAN CULTURE THERE'S A TRADITION WHERE PARENTS ARRANGE

THEIR KIDS' MARRIAGES.

MY PARENTS HAD AN ARRANGED MARRIAGE.

I THOUGHT THE ONE BENEFIT OF COMING OUT TO MY MOTHER WOULD BE

SHE WOULDN'T NAWIVE ON ME ANYMORE.

BUT SHE IS A DEDICATED WOMAN.

( LAUGHTER ) JUST LAST WEEK, SHE POSTED AN AD

ON CRAIGSLIST THAT READ, "MY SON, 24 YEARS OLD, INDIAN, GAY,

WORKS IN ENTERTAINMENT.

SEEKS INDIAN LESBIAN FACING SIMILAR FAMILY PRESSURE."

( LAUGHTER ) FORTUNATELY, MY DAD TOOK THE

NEWS A LOT BETTER.

I WENT UP TO HIM AND I WAS LIKE, "DAD, I HAVE SOMETHING TO TELL

YOU.

I'M GAY."

AND HE WAS LIKE, "THAT'S FANTASTIC, NIK, BUT ISN'T IT

PRONOUNCED LAWYER?" ( LAUGHTER )

THANKS, YOU ALL.

MY NAME IS NIK DODANI.

How to do A/B Testing - DSP 306 - Duration: 15:35.

>>Ashkahn: Okay.

>>Graham: All right.

>>Ashkahn: Welcome, everybody.

>>Graham: Hello.

>>Ashkahn: This is Ashkahn.

>>Graham: I am Graham.

>>Ashkahn: And we are ready to slam and jam.

>>Graham: With the question, which is, "do you ever run A/B tests at Float On to test

the effectiveness of marketing strategies?

Or have you ever heard of other centers doing this?

If so, any suggestions are appreciated."

>>Ashkahn: That's what they wrote, appreciated?

>>Graham: That's just how you say that.

Right?

>>Ashkahn: That's the- >>Graham: Yeah, I appreciate you pointing

that out.

>>Ashkahn: No, that's not correct.

>>Graham: Yeah, so, A/B tests, otherwise known as split testing.

>>Ashkahn: Otherwise known as onesie-twosies.

>>Graham: That's not true.

>>Ashkahn: I think so, I'm pretty sure ... >>Graham: That's absolutely-

>>Ashkahn: No, they threw that on a website- >>Graham: Actually just go Google, yeah sure-

>>Ashkahn: ... with A/B tests and they found that people-

>>Graham: Go Google onesie-twosies and see what comes up.

>>Ashkahn: ... preferred onesie-twosies.

>>Graham: Let's see, A/B tests, split tests, basically just testing two different variations

of something- >>Ashkahn: So this is-

>>Graham: ... on your website.

>>Ashkahn: This is kind of weird to realizing is happening to you if you've never heard

about this before, but this is incredibly common when you go onto a website of some

sort of company on the internet.

They often will show you ... You will get one of a certain number of versions of the

website.

So you may actually be seeing something different than somebody on another computer going to

that website.

Oftentimes, this stuff can be pretty subtle.

You know, it's like- >>Graham: Colors or buttons, or something's

bold versus not bold.

>>Ashkahn: Or it's big, like, "Hey, we're showing you this as our main homepage."

Like call to action versus a whole completely different call to action for somebody else.

The basic idea is that if you show half the people one thing and the other half the other

thing, then you can track how many people clicked over to the thing you wanted them

to do, or took whatever action you wanted to do, usually leading to people buying things.

You can just see like, "Hey, when we made this button green 10% more people clicked

on it than when it was orange."

>>Graham: Science!

>>Ashkahn: So, yeah, like, "Okay, I guess we should make it green."

>>Graham: Yep.

I guess it's worth mentioning that, with A/B testing, you're dynamically choosing, as people

visit the site, who's being presented with one version versus another.

So you're kind of randomly assigning them in real time, as opposed to having your site

one way, let's say you have a big blue button or something, and then you've had it that

way for months, and one day you're like, "Oh, I wonder how a green button performs?"

So you switch the button to green on your site, and then you kind of compare this new

data versus the historical data with the blue button.

That's a way to run tests, but A/B tests are nicer because it controls for a bunch of variables.

Maybe people clicked on the green button more because you happened to run that around December,

and December was the strong month as opposed to it actually being the color that made the

change.

So, if you're splitting people live you're just controlling for every other variable

except the change you're making.

So that's kind of the preferable way to do it.

There's a ton of advanced tools out there now for A/B testing, split testing-

>>Ashkahn: Onesie-twosies.

>>Graham: ... so you can get pretty nuanced and complicated with it.

>>Ashkahn: Yeah, so this is something that you would get as-

>>Graham: That's not what it's called.

>>Ashkahn: ... something you add to your website that can hep you do this.

Along the same lines of, the whole benefit of this being that you're kind of controlling

as many outside variables as possible, you also want to A/B test very specific things.

>>Graham: Whether or not A/B testing is worth it?

Try running your site without A/B testing- >>Ashkahn: And see how it compares?

>>Graham: Yeah, then run your site with A/B testing and see what did better.

>>Ashkahn: But you don't want to change a bunch of stuff.

Ideally, you're making one tweak and tracking that tweak, and once that's done you're making

another tweak and tracking that tweak.

Otherwise, it's hard to tell what specific thing you did is actually having the impact.

>>Graham: Yeah.

Sometimes you can combine changes per page.

Sometimes you can make different changes on separate pages.

But yeah, the goal of just adjusting one thing at a time.

If you're changing the color of a button and this main call to action, and your nav bar

is different, and then someone takes a totally different action on your page, which was it?

Which one of those changes actually had an impact?

Keeping things one test at a time is the way to go.

So yes, we have run A/B tests.

You can also run A/B tests, I guess it's worth mentioning, not just on your website.

You can A/B test headlines for emails that you send out.

You can A/B test actual content for emails that you send out.

Really, you're just running an experiment.

>>Ashkahn: And you can expand the knowledge, or the concept to your Float center.

I mean, it's hard to do things simultaneously in your Float center but you can try different

membership signage and track how well one is doing.

Although, it just gets looser in the outside world.

>>Graham: Sure.

We've actually done it with Beginner's Guides too.

We were putting beginner's guides at kind of different locations around, with different

discount codes.

The discount codes and amount let us track who redeemed what, so we could actually kind

of tell what locations our beginner's guides were performing better at based on how many

discount codes of that type had been redeemed.

So yeah, you can apply this to many other things, but most commonly, and like the question

kind of implies, it's done on websites.

>>Ashkahn: Yeah.

It's certainly, like, the most easy implementation of it is on the web and you get the most control

over it.

>>Graham: So, totally, we've played around with it.

There's some easy tools out there to make it so it's not so challenging to run these.

A great one that I know of right off the top of my heads is Optimizely.

It's really easy to use.

It's super simple to setup, and it lets you get started with WYSIWYG editor, what you

see is what you get, in order to manipulate the web page and immediately launch variations,

so it's both easy to implement, easy to actually use and make the changes even if you're not

a big techy web person, and it's really easy to view the results and see them.

It does cost a little bit of money.

I think they have a free plan, depending on how many visitors you're getting per month.

But that's a really easy way to start, and then there are other similar tools out there

too.

I think like Visual Website Optimizer is one, and a few other A/B testing tools.

If you just do a quick Google search I promise you they're going to pop up towards the top

because they're A/B testing all kinds of ads for themselves.

>>Ashkahn: In terms of what we're A/B testing, when you're thinking about your website, really,

your main goal is probably going to be to get people to book appointments.

You've got to remember what your goal is to figure out what you want to test to try to

improve that.

So, if you've never done this before, it's good to start with the biggest things.

Like, take your call to action and play with your call to action and see if you can improve

the rate that people are going from your website to your little booking page and trying to

book appointments.

I mean, start with the lowest hanging fruit or the thing that's going to give you the

biggest reward if you manage to find a good tweak to it.

>>Graham: Yeah.

Trying to refine your About Us page that people spend more time reading about you is something

that you can do certainly with A/B testing, but like Ashkahn was saying, that's not going

to lead to the most sales that you can do right out of the gate.

Yeah, calls to action are really good one, testing the size of that, testing how many

other things are on a page.

>>Ashkahn: The words.

"Book Now" versus "Schedule an Appointment" versus "Schedule a Float".

That's definitely something to play with.

>>Graham: Yeah.

Again, like we mentioned it, it's no joke but the color of a button can have a huge

impact on how many people actually click it.

Green versus blue versus red.

>>Ashkahn: Look in to some of this stuff.

This whole world of Neuromarketing is really strange because when you talk about it, it

all sounds so dumb.

Where it's just like, "Yeah, and you know"- >>Graham: I don't think it sounds dumb.

I think it sounds like science.

>>Ashkahn: Well, I don't mean like how it's done.

I just mean the fact that like ... When you look at the stuff-

>>Graham: Oh, that the blue button versus a green button-

>>Ashkahn: ... they're like, "hey if you change this button to say 'Book Now!' with an

exclamation point" that's gonna make 10% more people click it.

And you're like, "no way, how could that possibly be true?"

But there's just all this actual research out there that they've done and it's true.

These subtle cues affect us whether we want them to or not, like the color of things and

the wording and the words like "now" or "free" or stuff like that have an impact on us.

It's a little frightening but it's worth knowing.

It sounds kind of futile at first to be thinking that you're spending a bunch of time changing

"book here" to "book now" but that stuff can make a difference.

>>Graham: Yeah and a good place to find these tests to run, whether again it's simplifying

your page or adding a video or changing the text of something, if you just look up A/B

tests or common A/B tests or great A/B tests to start with, anything like that will pull

up some nice best practices for tests that other people have run across their websites

that have just tended to perform really well.

Fortunately the nice thing is because it's tested and, again it's very scientific, the

results are really easy for people to publish and they're really easy for other people to

grab down and kind of collect.

There really are lists of 20-25 A/B tests where if you've never changed anything on

your website, going through that list of 25 will probably give you some nicer conversions

from your website over to people booking floats.

>>Ashkahn: There's just some heuristics out there when you look at the data, like this

color performs better than that color.

These words performed better.

You can use those as guiding post and try stuff out but at the end of the day those

are just generalized tips.

You may find in the context of your website, maybe they don't act as strongly or something

else is actually different but they're really good places to start and good things to test

for because most of the time they are improvements.

>>Graham: It'll at least give you an idea of what people are doing out there.

If you, after going through examples of how people have run other A/B tests and if you

read a 100 different A/B tests that other companies have written, you really start to

get the point.

You understand what people are aiming for, you understand how they're doing it.

You actually see some of the really cool, inflated numbers you can get as a result of

really small tweaks to your site.

It gets, at least for me, kind of addicting.

Once you start running scientific tests on stuff, you just actually do see, "oh, 5% more

people did this" or "30% more people did this" or didn't drop off from my cart, for example,

like, "oh, 30% more people actually finished their checkout when I changed this word."

Is really cool data and you're like, "oh, this is actually leading to more people hopping

in a float tank" which is kind of cool.

>>Ashkahn: If you have never heard of this stuff before or didn't build a website with

any of this in mind, you're probably gonna find some really obvious ones at the beginning,

like even having a call to action prominent right on your homepage or things like that

may be a nice little bonuses for you.

>>Graham: Yeah, so that's it.

You may have heard the words before, A/B split test, you might not have, but just know that

fortunately technology and the tools available to business owners now are robust enough that

you can get started with it pretty easily and without much technical knowledge.

In my mind there's no reason for people to not start A/B testing and at least running

a test a week or a test a month or something.

These things really add up.

If you're just making little improvements of 2% here, 3% here, not even counting the

really big improvements you can find.

After a year those 1% and 2% and 3% totally add up and collectively actually mean a big

improvement on your bottom line.

>>Ashkahn: I feel like I have a word of warning to balance that out with a little bit.

Which is in my mind is like, there's a few things to consider with A/B testing.

As you start researching it and applying it, there's some stuff that I think is just a

little different for the type of businesses that we're talking about.

One is when you look into this A/B testing research or when you talk about these companies

doing A/B testing, most often you're looking at companies that are humongous web companies.

So there's a couple differences that I like to keep in my mind when I think about Our

Shop versus Facebook or something.

I heard somewhere that Facebook has more variations than there are users for Facebook.

>>Graham: Than there are people on the planet.

>>Ashkahn: Than there are people on the planet.

It's just insane how much stuff like this they do or like I'm sure Amazon does an unbelievable

amount of A/B testing.

>>Graham: Oh for sure.

>>Ashkahn: That's because first of all, they're absolutely humongous businesses so if they

can improve something by like 0.01%, that is a huge chunk of money to improve something

by.

Whereas with the Float Center, moving the needle that small is not really that big of

a difference for us as it is for a company that big.

Also, they're entirely web-based.

That is their focus and the nuance of how their website directs people plays a much

bigger role in their businesses than it does for us, as brick and mortar business.

The third thing that I like to keep in mind is just that the more people you have, the

more numbers going into this, the more significant all the results coming out are.

So it's kind of hard for float centers sometimes when you do an A/B test when you're comparing

60 people on one side versus 62 on the other, when the numbers are that small in terms of

who's hitting something or how many people are actually interacting with something, the

margin of error is just so much more significant.

The fact that two more people did something and that means a decent chunk of percentage

is a little more wishy-washy than when you have 1.5 million people did something and

1.7 million people did another thing.

There's a lot less influence of random chance in there.

I guess in my mind too, I totally think this stuff is worth it and it's good doing this

A/B testing and getting this stuff going but at a certain point if you get deep enough,

I think there's probably other levers in your float center that are gonna be more significant

to pull or are gonna be a bigger influence on how you're spending your time than getting

insanely deep in the world of A/B testing for your brick and mortar float center website.

>>Graham: Yeah, and just to balance that out too.

The nice thing is if you are getting results with just 60 people visiting, those are the

big effect results that you want which is really good.

It might be that when you start out, if you did follow best practices for website design

and stuff like that, you don't see many huge gains and maybe this is just something you

run lightly in the background.

Honestly, there are a lot of websites out there where I would not be surprised if they

started A/B testing and for the next three or four months you really start seeing some

nice traction coming from it.

You can just keep them running as long as you want.

If you start an A/B test and your website traffic isn't very huge, you can just leave

it running in the background for four or five months.

You don't need to immediately follow up on it or it doesn't really matter if you get

results within a week, it just means that's much sooner than you can act on it.

There's nothing wrong with getting things going, just leaving them there, revisiting

them every few months.

>>Ashkahn: Just simmer.

>>Graham: Let them simmer.

Try them on the back burner.

Cool, anyway that's A/B testing in a nutshell.

If you have your own questions, definitely cruise on down to floattanksolutions.com/podcast.

>>Ashkahn: That's right and we'll be here tomorrow again.

So stay tuned.

>>Graham: Bye everyone.

Morawiecki publicznie poniżony! Czekał na niego tłum w maskach - Duration: 4:52.

Mateusz Morawiecki gościł dziś w Poznaniu, by wraz z m.in. Jarosławem Kaczyńskim wziąć udział w przedwyborczej konwencji Prawa i Sprawiedliwości

By dopełnić swoje hasło, do nosa wizerunku Morawieckiego przytwierdzili długie papierowe nosy, będące oczywistym nawiązaniem do Pinocchia

Tam o godzinie 11:00 w Filharmonii Pomorskiej dojdzie do kolejnego spotkania

READ: American Bar Association Urges Delay on Kavanaugh Vote | Heavy.com

The America Bar Association has more than 400,000 members.

It's one of the world's largest voluntary professional organizations.

Late Thursday, after the Senate Judiciary Committee hearings the ABA sent a letter to the Committee calling for a delay on the vote on Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

American Bar Association president Robert M.

Carlson wrote that the Senate Judiciary committee "and as appropriate the full Senate" must conduct "an appropriate background check into the allegations" made against Kavanaugh by Dr.

Christine Blasey Ford and at least two other women and that investigation "completed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.".

"We make this request because of the ABA's respect for the rule of law and due process under law.

The basic principles that underscore the Senate's constitutional duty of advice and consent on federal judicial nominees require nothing less than a careful examination of the accusations and facts by the FBI.

"Each appointment to our nation's Highest Court (as with all others) is simply too important to rush to a vote.

Deciding to proceed without conducting additional investigation would not only have a lasting impact on the Senate's reputation, but it will also negatively affect the great trust necessary for the American people to have in the Supreme Court.

It must remain an institution that will reliably follow the law and not politics.

Respectfully, the Senate should recognize that a thorough FBI investigation will demonstrate its commitment to a Supreme Court that is above reproach."Thursday's testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee included Blasey Ford swearing that she was certain that as teenagers, Kavanaugh, with his friend now-conservative writer and recovering alcoholic Mark Judge egging him on tried to rape her.

She said both were drunk and laughing during the assault.

Friday the Committee is moving forward with a vote for Kavanaugh's confirmation at 1:30 p.
