Youtube daily report Sep 25 2018

You see prayers and affirmations are not

for the purpose of changing God or the

living spirit or the life principle or

influencing the divine God is the same

yesterday today and forever

you don't change God but you align

yourself mentally with that which was

always true you don't create harmony

harmony is you don't create love God is

love that love of God is within you

you don't create peace God is peace and God

indwells you that you must claim that

the peace of God floods your mind you

must claim that the harmony of God is in

your home harmony is in your pocketbook

from your business and all phases of

your life all of good is available to

each other

our prayers and affirmations are for the

purpose to bring your own line to the

point where we can accept the gifts

which were given to us from the

foundation of time regard as they given

in the gift the oil was in the ground

before you were born before any man walk

the earth so was gold and silver uranium

and lead and copper and all the metals

that we use today they were all there

didn't it take a little intelligence and

the mind of man to find these things, yes

so if you send two men to Utah and one

man is a geologist or he may be also a

meteorologist and he finds nothing

another man goes in the first five

minutes he finds the vein of uranium or

silver in the same territory in the same

land where was the wealth the wealth was

in the mind of the second man he

believed in a guiding principle the

other fella found nothing he was walking on it

so there is a guiding principle

that will lead you that's what led men

to find gold and silver and oil and lead

and all these things we don't need to

work on conditions we need only to work

on ourselves the only place we can cure

our lack and limitation is in our own

mind be transformed by the renewal of your mind

when we have done it there we

shall find that the world your that is

your body your environment and

conditions will be a mathematical

reflection of your inner state of mind

whatsoever things you ask for when he

pray believe that you have received

we shall have them that is the basis of

all successful prayer whether for the

healing of our bodies for prosperity

success for achievements or for material

benefits once you convince your deeper

mind that you have the thing you want it

will proceed immediately to bring it to pass

you might say to me how can I convince

my deeper mind my subconscious that I

have riches or any other good thing when

my common sense tells me that bills are

piling up creditors are after me the

bank is calling up to pay for the

mortgage and for the money I old so on

you can't if you keep thinking about

debts and obligations and how much you owe

you'll only magnify your misery but here

is the truth about the laws of your mind

your deeper minds accepts as effect

whatever you repeat to it in convincing

tones often enough just the same you

learn to walk you had a thought pattern

an act whether it is swimming or walking

or playing tennis or golf and you repeat

it over and over again you know what you

are doing and why you were doing it you

want to learn to walk you want to learn

to dance you want to learn to swim

so well finally your subconscious

assimilated the pattern didn't it and

then you swim automatically you walked automatically

the same procedure in

praying for wealth or anything else once

your subconscious accepts the statement

as a fact it proceeds to do everything

possible to bring riches to you now

that's the old purpose of affirmations

so that you convince yourself of the

truth of that which you affirm then your

deeper mind will bring these things to pass

many men say to me oh I got an

affirmation from someone and it said I

am rich and prosperous now I am

successful and I'm very wealthy that

affirmation he said succeeded in making

me much more aware of my need because

you see he believed more in poverty and

lack than he did and the riches or

anthem

so I explained to him I said you must

turn away from that pattern and change

your belief your subconscious accepts

what you believe I should look around

you realize that God created you in the

whole world it's an invisible spirit

within you everything is made inside out

of it it started your heartbeat it's the

air you breathe water you drink it's the

fruit that you eat and therefore turn

away and turn within and change that and

say I recognize the eternal source of my

supply God is the source of my supply

all my needs spiritual mental material

are meant at every moment of time and

point of space and God's wealth is

circulating in my life and there's

always a surface so by they in mine eyes

I'm advancing moving forward and growing

spiritually mentally materially

financially intellectually in every way

and all things be ready if the mine be

sold has done unto me as I believe oh

how I love thy law let it be my

meditation both day and night and the

law is I am what I contemplate I am what

I believe myself to be according to my

faith is a done unto me

God gave you richly all things to enjoy

God made you rich why then are you poor

and as he began to realize a source of

the infinite ocean of supply the source

of the very hair in his head you know

the source of the power that enables him

to lift a chair the source of the grass

the source from they hay in the field

the source of the cattle on a Thousand

Hills he began to realize a source lined

himself with it and then it made sense

to him then he realized that he was

writing in a subconscious mind the idea

of wealth of growth and prosperity

he changed his relief to a belief in the

riches the endless riches all around him

instead of poverty which was a false

belief in his mind don't you know

there's enough root rots in the tropics

to feed all humanity

nature's lavish extravagant bountiful

God gave you richly ESTs all things to

enjoy these things he said I've said

unto you that my joy might remain in you

and your joy might be full heretofore

you've asked for nothing now asks that

your joy might be full and I am come

that you might have life and have it

more abundantly heretofore you ask for

nothing now ask that your joy might be

full but to ask you see and the Bible is

to claim and this Paul says you claim it

boldly but you know what you're doing

and why you're doing it so if you have a

lot of debts and obligations lot of

bills to pay don't worry about them turn

to the source which is endless remember

the farmer what he says to you he says

well I don't worry about the weeds the

grain is growing and it will kill all

the weeds that's what the farmer tells

you likewise as you focus on your good

on guidance and right action and the eternal

source of your supply whether it is

mental or spiritual or financial you

need is but one source not two and as

you turn to it and give thanks for that

endless supply then all the weeds will

be killed thoughts of lack and

limitation will die in you and God will

multiply your good exceedingly

Iraque Losango. :,) (Vent) (Eng Sub) - Duration: 4:14.

This is.... my friends.

This is an impostor.

Before we start, I wanted to alert you that this is a vent, so I may have said any shit about him.

This can have curses or irrational words.

It also contains sarcasm in some parts too.

"Iraque Losango"/"Iraq Lozenge"

Many of you don't know, since most are foreign. But this guy...

*-Sigh-*

This guy was a controversy among the community of countryballs, mainly mappers and animators, among those who speak Portuguese.

First, I'll explain who he is and what he does on YouTube.

He's a Lozenge-shaped Iraqi figure, obvious.

And he makes videos like: New Intro (Which he doesn't use);

Blocking Noobs / Idiots / Retards or whatever;

Videos in which he takes a picture of who he hates and begins to scratch the image;

And... That's all.

...

He begins to hate ANYONE who has no lozenge profile.

Yes, that's exactly what you heard.

ANYONE who has no lozenge profile.

Because...? Oh, because, of course, lozenges are original and the rest are trash!

No, he really has no arguments. He hates anyone who isn't a lozenge for "VIUS"(Views).

And ... this was proven by a person who took print of him saying that.

If you try to argue with him, he simply blocks you, which is fine.

But ... he puts in his famous anime series with a lot of maturity:

BLOCKING RETARDS.

Not only if you try to argue with him, but also have a countryball profile and comment "wow."

I'm not lying, had a Syria who just commented "Wow" in a his video

And he was blocked and called an idiot.

(Poor Syri, he just wanted to talk with his ally. ;-;)

And your videos of attempts to offend someone are completely immature and pointless beyond "trash," "noob," or "retard"... or whatever.

Like this following video:

THE SUL INDEPENDENTE MAPPER/SOUTH INDEPENDENT MAPPER IS SO GAY THAT HE'S THE "BALDI'S" *[TRIGGERED]*

How you can see, he has great English (Not that I have).

If that's all I have to say? Well, now I can tell what he has to do with me.

The first moment that a friend introduced this guy, I also thought about making a video about it, but I left it quiet.

I tried to start a debate with it, but obviously it went wrong because I'm not a lozenge or rectangle.

I left him like this ... until he create an impostor account.

With this impostor account, he began to make hateful comments on one of my best friends' channels.

That bothered me a lot. :c

BUT MY FRIEND IS SO FUCKING COOL THAT HE DID COSPLAY AND HOMAGE TO IRAQ LOZENGE!

Man, he's a genius.

But anyway, continuing.

The day after, I received a notice from a subscriber in which he made a hate comment to a person who had NOTHING with the subject, making an extremely rational comment:

Shit video.

This guy just wants attention, but in the worst way. Spoiling your own image.

As Mr Kami said:

"You and your henchmen, FUCK, Iraq!"

"You must be ashamed in the face..."

"And MAKE NAZISM AGAINST CUBES, BALLS AND MY ASS... "

"IN GERMANY, YOUR MOTHERFU--"

I know this video was pretty random but, whatever, ...

I made this video based on Mr. Kami's video! :D

The video is the first link in the description.

I would say that the sarcasm he used was very well used.

If you want other videos about Iraq Lozenge, which, by the way, I found it well done or I liked some sarcasm,

It will also be in the description.

They are all in Portuguese so ... I think foreigners will not understand so much. :p

(I know the microphone is bad ...)

(...Like my voice. ;-;)

Brain-Eating Fly turns Victims into Zombies - Duration: 5:23.

The world of tiny animals is a fascinating one.

Here you can find a diversity that simply wouldnt be possible on any higher level.

A seemingly endless supply of resources - a multitude of all kinds of micro ecosystems

and the amplified randomness of mother nature allow for life to develop in ways one can

hardly imagine.

The incredible diversity in flora and fauna caused countless animals to develop sophisticated

strategies for surival and reproduction that you can only find here.

A particularly gruesome reproductive strategy is employed by flies of the genus Pseudacteon.

Without a closer look, these flies don't seem to be very special or interesting.

Only between 1-2mm big - between 1/10th and 1/20th of an inch - about as big as a fruit

fly - with comparably large eyes and a prominent humped back (that gave the family of theses

flies the common name "humpback flies") most people probably wouldn't even take note of

them.

Only during egg deposition do they reveal their dark secret.

these flies inject their eggs into living hosts, more specifically into ants.

Each species of these flies is almost always restricted to a single ant genus - most of

the time even to a single ant species.

To insert their roughly 100-300 eggs female flies look for potential victims at disturbed

mounds or foraging trails.

After identifying a target the female goes into position, hovering a few millimeters

above the ant.

She is only as big as as the ants head but as swift as an arrow.

In less than a second she strikes the ant with her ovipositor - the elaborately shaped

stinger - inserting a single egg into the workers thorax.

Then she flies off looking for her next target.

After a few days the egg hatches and the the larva migrates to the ant's head where it

first feeds on the big muscles the ants use to open and close their powerful pincers and

then proceeds to devour the rest of the heads contents including the tiny brain causing

the ant to wander aimlessly for one or two weeks till it eventually dies of thirst.

At this point the larva - now filling up almost the entire head cavity - is ready to pupate.

Next it releases a chemical that degrades the membranes that hold the ant's exoskeleton

together and causes the head to fall off.

This fact earned these flies the common name - ant-decaptiating-flies.

the next stage - the pupal devolpment - takes an additional 2-3 weeks.

During this time the pupa remains protected in the head capsule, completing its metamorphisis

into a fly.

At last the adult stage is reached and fly emerges from the oral cavity and flies into

the world.

Intersting also: The sex of the fly isnt determined by chromosomes but the size of the ants head.

larva that develop inside bigger heads devolp into females while larvae inside the heads

of smaller workers develop into males.

The total development time is 4-12 weeks depending on the temperature.

the adults, however, only live for around 3-5 days before they once again lay eggs and

die.

As horrifying as this way of reproduction might seems, it might actually be usefull

to us.

Amoung the numerous species of ants these flies parasitize are also several species

of fire ants, including the invasive red and black imported fire ants in the United States

which were both accidentally introduced from South America in the early 20th century and

are now major pests in the US, espeically in the southern states.

Because they have no real natural enemies in north america they were able to spread

and multiply rapidly to the point that there are now more introduced fire ants in north

america than they are fire ants in south america, where they originally came from.

In Texas alone they are causing $1 billion in damanges every year.

In an atempted to control their spread researchers began introducing ant-decaptiating-flies from

South America in Texas While the parasitism rates have been documented

to be very low - below 3% - the presence of these flies has been shown to serverely interrupt

fire ant foraging - leading to dramatic short-term decreases in resource retrieval.

Just one or two flies are enough to trigger an immediate defensive and evasive behavior

of a whole colony.

Six different species of these flies, each to combat one specific ant species, have been

released at numerous sites across the southern US since 1999.

And despite the intial concerend that introducing another non native animal is like fighting

fire with fire it didnt yet have unindended consequences.

The fact that these flies are highly host specific, only attacking ants from a single

species or a group of closely related species ensures that the indroced flies only attack

the intended fire ant species and dont negativly impact native ants or other animals.

Because these flies are parasitoids that rely on the ants for reproduction they will of

course never completely wipe them out but they could at least be an effective way to

control their population by creating an equilibrium between host and parasite.

Determining whether this actually works in practise will, however, take more time - perhaps

as much as a decade.

Secrets Applebee's Never Wanted You To Know - Duration: 4:34.

Many people consider Applebee's to be a great, casual place to get together and de-stress

after work, and the chain has built an empire on their friendly-neighborhood sort of approachability.

But there are some not-so-family-friendly things they probably prefer you didn't find

out.

Here's a look at some secrets Applebee's never wanted you to know.

Applebees after dark

Want to get your groove on?

Well, what better place to shake your moneymaker than…

Applebee's!?

Yes, it sounds weird, but some Applebee's franchises, particularly in the Florida area,

have begun doubling as late night party centers under the codename Club Applebee's.

While some spots simply do karaoke, others really go wild, turning Applebee's into the

most unlikely adult hotspot imaginable.

"Are you guys sure Applebee's is the best place to meet hot, horny women at?"

"What are you doing, Olive Garden?"

Underage drinking

In 2016, WJHL reported police were called to a Tennessee Applebee's after an employee

accidentally served three children — ages 9, 10, and 11 — an alcoholic root beer called

"Not Your Father's Root Beer," which the server claimed wasn't alcoholic.

"I immediately told my kids to stop drinking the alcoholic beverage and brought it to her

attention.

And she said, 'No, no, it's root beer.'"

That followed a 2011 incident at a different Applebee's where a toddler was served a margarita.

Perhaps the worst case, though, came in 2012, when an underage patron was left a quadriplegic

after a night of drinking at Applebee's ended with a car accident.

Applebee's settled the resulting lawsuit out of court.

A side order… of justice

Applebee's has faced quite a few legal issues over the past few years.

In 2017 alone, for instance, Applebee's faced three high profile cases: one for firing a

transgender hostess after she reported systematic harassment in the workplace, one for using

hit songs by AC/DC and C+C Music Factory in their commercials without permission, and

one for underpaying employees at 23 locations — a lawsuit that probably could have been

avoided if the chain had learned any lessons from a 2012 case where 5,500 bartenders and

servers were also found to have been underpaid.

Sheesh!

Dinner with a side of plastic

In 2012, author Tracie McMillan published the book The American Way of Eating: Undercover

at Walmart, Applebee's, Farm Fields and the Dinner Table.

After going undercover at Applebee's, she revealed to The Fiscal Times that she would

avoid their side dishes entirely because of uneven and potentially unsafe preparation.

She cited broccoli as an example, saying that the florets are heated inside a plastic bag,

which can flake off onto the food.

"So you're sending out these sides that have little flakes of plastic stuck on them.

If I were a diner, I would think that it was salt."

Yuck!

Foot in mouth disease

In 2012, Applebee's launched their "Girls Night Out Goddess" ad campaign, which was

designed to convince people it was better to meet up in person — at an Applebee's

— than just interact online.

Unfortunately, the result was a bit...abrasive.

"So if you think you can stand to not know what everyone you've ever met is doing for

a couple of hours, maybe you should give it a shot!"

Many viewers and pundits found the Girls Night Out Goddess to be condescending and outright

demeaning to women, as the ads were specifically targeting women on social media, for using

social media.

"You know, before there was Facebook, there was a thing called face-to-face.

Really a remarkable concept."

The ad agency behind the campaign issued a statement to AdWeek clarifying they weren't

trying to be jerks, but the damage was done and the ads were quickly discontinued in favor

of those embracing online activity.

So you'd think Applebee's would have learned their lesson when it comes to social media,

but just a year later…

Social media meltdown

In 2013, Applebee's got caught up in a bizarre social media meltdown.

It began when Pastor Alois Bell left a receipt with no tip and the note, "I give God 10%

why do you get 18."

The receipt — with signature — was posted on Reddit by Chelsea Welch, a co-worker of

the server who got the nasty note.

After Bell complained to Applebee's, the chain immediately fired Welch for posting the receipt,

which they said violated the customer's privacy.

And that's when things really went sideways for Applebee's.

After commenters noted that Applebee's own social media feed had done the exact same

thing by posting a customer's name and receipt just days earlier, the Applebee's social media

team went into a frenzy, posting a rambling comment on their status update at 3 in the

morning, blocking people, deleting negative comments, and responding to everyone with

the same copy-pasted message.

From there, the social media team began actually arguing with individual online protestors,

and the internet watched with equal parts delight and horror as Applebee's dug themselves

a hole with no bottom.

How Custom Aquariums Are Made - Factory Tour - Duration: 6:01.

In my last video, I announced that I was working with Custom Aquariums on a new 300 gallon

display tank.

So last week, I flew up to Wisconsin to see their operation firsthand.

Their lobby is full of examples of their work, like this beautiful reef tank,

full of livestock and coral.

A huge hexagonal south american tank,

with some really nice discus.

A big amphibious tank that's basically an aquarium and vivarium combined,

and a really nice reptile enclosure.

So they make a lot of different stuff,

and it all starts in the glass shop.

It's a huge space where tanks go from large sheets of glass to finished aquariums.

First those sheets are moved from storage to the CNC glass cutter.

It's can tilt up vertically to load the glass,

and once it's on there it's basically like a big air hockey table.

All of the dimensions are programmed into the computer,

and the machine goes to work.

This was pretty crazy to see in person.

I mean, I knew machines like this existed, but to watch it zip around like this

and know that it's making super precise cuts was really cool.

Once the whole sheet is cut,

the pieces are snapped apart into their finished sizes.

Some of these are broken with the table, and others with a clamp.

The glass is then loaded onto a cart where it moves to the next step in the process,

the polisher.

They actually polish all four sides of each piece of glass,

whereas most manufacturers only polish the sides that you see.

This gets rid of imperfections that can compromise the integrity of the glass.

So that's one thing that sets these tanks apart from mass produced tanks.

For tanks that are predrilled, like mine,

the glass moves on to a hole drilling machine

that drills from the top and bottom simultaneously.

I've drilled a bunch of tanks by hand

and it's not a lot of fun.

Seeing how fast and easy this was, and how nice the holes looked

almost made me mad.

Next, every piece of glass goes through a washer that uses RODI water

to get it super clean for assembly.

It comes out and passes in front of a light panel so that it can be inspected.

Any piece of glass that doesn't meet their standards is replaced with a piece that does.

Once all of the glass is ready, it's time for the assembly.

The five pieces are carefully aligned and clamped in place.

They are then taped off in preparation for the first seal.

Another thing that sets these tanks apart is the quality of the silcone.

This stuff is much better than the GE stuff you would buy at a store

or even what is used on your average mass produced tank.

I've sealed a tank before, and it did not go so well,

so it was really fun to watch these guys work and see it done right.

Once the first seal has had some time to cure, it's time to do the second seal.

This is a different day, and different tank, but I wanted you to be able to see it.

They really take their time with this and even inspect each seam with a light

after the silicone goes on, just to make sure there aren't any bubbles.

Next up comes the frames, and this might be the biggest difference between these tanks

and others,

and it was a huge selling point for me personnally.

Instead of plastic frames, which I think we all know can easily break,

they use annodized aluminum.

It's much stronger and is held together with rivets.

The taller tanks get an even stronger version with extra rivets.

I got to see them frame this awesome 10 foot tank,

which started with them lifting the tank with this crazy suction cup and pulley system.

They scraped off all of the excess silicone with the tank hanging in the air.

All of the frames are custom cut so they did a test fit to make sure it was exactly right.

It wasn't, so they took it back to the saw to make some adjustments.

The frame was then reassembled and test fit again.

This time it was perfect, so they removed it again to add the silicone.

Finally it was time to attach it permanently and add clamps to ensure a tight fit.

Fully assembled tanks are then left to cure before being shipped to the customer.

The other big part of their operation is the cabinetry shop.

They make stands and canopies from solid wood and they look really nice.

Very much like furniture.

Even the paint is really well done.

In this same building is where they put together all of the plumbing for the tanks,

which includes their Seamless Sump system.

This was another huge draw for me and one of the coolest things about these tanks.

I'll be showing these in depth once I get mine,

so I won't go into too much detail here,

but they're these extremely customizable, modular sumps

made from polyethelyne.

They're all one piece which means there are no seams to break apart and leak.

Once the tank, stand, and plumbing are ready,

the entire setup is crated for shipping to the customer.

They build what is essentially a custom pallet for each crate,

and then they put padded supports around it.

Then the whole thing is encased in plywood.

I didn't make it up to Wisconsin in time to see my own tank being built.

But I was at least able to see it leave.

Thanks to everyone at Custom Aquariums for showing me around

and letting me share this with you.

And stay tuned for future videos

where among other things I will show thes crates arriving at my door.

Thanks everyone for watching,

and until next time, have a good one.

50 Insane US Marines Facts That Will Shock You! - Duration: 17:56.

This branch of the U.S. military was at first created to deal with invasions from water

and invading via the water, but the marines do a bit of everything now.

In 1834, the marines became part of the U.S. navy, but they go back to 1775.

Presently there are around 186,000 active members and 38,500 reserves.

It's the smallest of the seven U.S. uniformed services – by those we mean Navy, Army,

Air Force, etc.

There is also a special branch of the marine corps, which is the "United States Marine

Corps Special Operations Command."

This command often deals with more covert operations.

It's all a bit confusing as the U.S. military is comprised of so many parts, but we'll

help explain everything.

Welcome to this episode of the Infographics Show, 50 Shocking Facts about US Marines.

50.

What do they do?

Just like we did in our other shows, we have to give you some basics before we get into

facts you probably don't already know.

Unlike the regular Navy, the marines spend much of their time on land, though they might

capture naval bases or defend them.

As you'll find out, they are kind of military multi-taskers, and many times they have been

the main force in land battles.

So really, the name "marines" can be a bit misleading.

49.

Let the Marines explain Here's the Marines' own mission statement:

"We are forward deployed to respond swiftly and aggressively in times of crisis.

We are soldiers of the sea, providing forces and detachments to naval ships and shore operations.

We are global leaders, developing expeditionary doctrine and innovations that set the example,

and leading other countries' forces and agencies in multinational military operations.

These unique capabilities make us "First to Fight," and our nation's first line of defense."

48.

What qualifications do you need to join?

You must be American, mentally stable, i.e. a history of meth abuse and related-psychoses

in your teens won't go down well in the interview.

You need a high school diploma or GED. 90 percent of marines have a high school diploma,

some have GEDs and a very small percentage have neither.

One military site says there are 35 career fields in the marines, so you'll be chosen

to do what you are good at.

47.

What else?

You must be at least 17, but if you are that age you'll need your parents' permission

to join.

You can be as old as 28, according to Stars and Stripes.

It depends on what you can offer or what you want to do.

46.

How fit do you have to be?

Ok, so you don't have to be quite as trim as a UFC middleweight, but you do have to

be reasonably fit.

We went to the actual marine's website to see what you have to do.

We can't go through it all, but basically you must be decent at pull ups, push ups and

crunches.

You then have to run a three-mile (4.8km) run in 28 minutes or less.

That's not really hard for most people who jog a bit.

You then have a series of combat fitness tests.

All these are scored and for female marines there are different limits for the tests.

But before you even start that, you can't look like you've lived most of your life

playing Mario Kart and eating double-cheese pizza.

The marine's website tells you to contact a marine to find out body requirements, and

we don't really want to sign up ourselves.

We found one site that says they prefer men between 5 feet and 6 feet 8 inches tall and

that weigh less than 255 pounds.

Those are pretty wide parameters, but if you are out of shape boot camp might prove to

be difficult.

45.

Is boot camp hard, like in the movies?

"Are you eyeballing me son!"

Is boot camp hard?

The short answer is yes.

Military.com writes, "Marine boot camp is extremely challenging – both physically

and mentally – considered to be tougher than the basic training programs of any of

the other military services."

There are three phases lasting 70 days, and yes, your drill instructor is usually tough

on you.

One of the last phases is to deprive you of sleep and not feed you much while you go on

a grueling march.

It's called The Crucible.

After boot camp you'll be sent for more training at your respective school.

44.

Nah, not for me Between 11 and 14 percent of people don't

get through boot camp.

43.

And for some people it really wasn't for them

In 2018, a marine dropped dead from a heart attack in San Diego.

42.

Killing your DI We can't find any stories of marines killing

their drill instructor, but in 2008 four marines murdered a United States Marine Corps Sergeant

Jan Paweł Pietrzak.

It had nothing to do with bad feelings, though.

This was not a Full Metal Jacket scenario, just bad people that did bad things.

41.

The first raid Let's get lighter and more historical.

The first ever raid by the marines came just after they were founded when they stole a

bunch of weapons from the Brits in the Bahamas.

40.

Famous marines who don't look the part Way too many famous people to mention, so

we'll give you a few names that surprised us:

Jim Beaver, the guy that wrote the show Deadwood.

Drew Carey, comedian and TV star who looks like he might have struggled with the pull

ups if he wasn't much slimmer in those days.

The Everly Brothers, old school musicians.

Carlo Mastrototaro, a Mafia boss.

Tom Monaghan, the man that gave America Domino's pizza.

Charles Ng, rapist and killer of 25 people currently residing on Death Row in San Quentin.

William Clark Styron Jr., one of America's most celebrated novelists.

You might not be surprised that the list is full of boxers and other athletes, as well

as lots of politicians.

39.

Heartburn Marines must finish eating their meal the

second their DI (drill instructor) finishes his meal, which is why some people say marines

eat really fast.

38.

The Tavern Now, some people dispute that this even happened

this way.

But as the story goes, the way the marines got started was when two Captains, Robert

Mullan and Samuel Nicholas, invited a bunch of decent men for a beer at a place called

the Tun Tavern.

The National Museum of Marine Corps in Virginia has a restaurant called the Tun Tavern.

37.

A few good men You've heard that phrase and it comes from

an ad asking for marines to sign up to sail.

The ad goes like this: "The Continental ship Providence, now lying at Boston, is bound

on a short cruise, immediately; a few good men are wanted to make up her complement."

That was way back in 1779.

36.

Tough Dogs While the British Bulldog has been used to

symbolize the stubbornness and hard temperament of Winston Churchill, as well as being painted

in the past on tough guy's arms, the marines actually use it as its mascot.

What's kinda funny though for all those tough guys and marines, is that this breed

suffers lots of health problems and usually dies at a young age.

35.

Change the mascot Shih Tzu's and Chihuahuas have one of the

longest life expectancies.

34.

Toy Heroes Not many people know that Toys for Tots was

started by the marine reserves.

They have collected over 500 million toys since they started in 1947.

The idea came from Major Bill Hendricks, who took inspiration from seeing his wife donate

toys.

It's not all about being tough and killing people.

33.

Super Rabbit Bugs Bunny was made honorary Marine master

sergeant for his performance in the cartoon Super-Rabbit.

Very few people receive this award, which is given to "individuals in the civilian

community who have made extraordinary contributions to the Marine Corps."

Chuck Norris gained that honor, too, as did comedian Bob Hope.

32.

Jarhead The term jarhead was given to marines during

world war two.

Some say it was because of their "high and tight" haircut but others say it was more

about how the neck of their uniforms was high and so it made their heads look like jars.

Most people on forums discussing this say it was the hair, not the clothes.

31.

Leatherneck Another name for a marine is leatherneck.

This originated in the 19th century when a marine's uniform consisted of a very hard

and high leather neck.

Why?

So, a bayonet couldn't penetrate a marine's neck.

30.

Devils The Germans gave the name of "teufel hunden"

to the U.S. marines in the first world war.

The marines were sent to save Paris from invading Germans and did a tremendous job.

That German phrase above translates to devil dogs.

29.

The big man The first ever officer of the marines, then

called the Continental Marines, was called Major Samuel Nicholas.

He was the guy that was responsible for that Tun Tavern event, but it's thought he went

around lots of taverns looking for able men to fight.

He was a Freemason of a Masonic Lodge and a good recruiter.

He fought in many battles and died only after he retired from the marines, when yellow fever

got him in 1790.

His birthday, 10 November, is now the marine corps birthday.

28.

Honor and ethics If you read the manual for becoming a marine

a big part of the training is about teaching men to be honorable soldiers.

While their job is to defend and kill, they also learn how to do that ethically.

This is why they have the motto "Semper Fidelis", which is Latin for "Always Faithful".

Faithful not only to the marines, but to the country and to the values they have been taught.

27.

PTSD That's not always easy when you have PTSD.

It's said around 8 percent of Americans will get PTSD at some point in their lives,

but as for people in the military that goes up to 11 to 30 percent.

26.

Not enough help One ex-marine writes, "In the military,

young people are indoctrinated into a warrior culture.

When they're sent to boot camp and then to war, they are required to do extreme things

in order to survive."

Some don't cope well.

The US National Institute of Health writes that veterans don't get enough help, and

many turn to drink, drugs and worse.

It writes, "Our findings suggest that mental health disparities are often a leading factor

to the high suicide rates among veterans who experience depression and Post-Traumatic Stress

Disorder."

You've all seen the movies.

Perhaps that phrase "Semper Fidelis" should work both ways, not just when the government

wants men to fight but when it has to take responsibility for the consequences of war.

25.

Marines have it tough Suicides among all veterans is about double

that of American civilians.

In fact, in 2016 a Pentagon report said, "Suicide kills more troops than Islamic State."

This might be all the military, but let's remember the marines are often right in the

mix and have one of the hardest jobs.

One report, although from 2010, said more marines kill themselves than any other branch

of the military.

Not by much, though.

The army was second, and the navy was much lower than both.

24.

The marines have their own hymn This is the first verse:

"From the Halls of Montezuma To the shores of Tripoli;

We fight our country's battles In the air, on land, and sea;

First to fight for right and freedom And to keep our honor clean;

We are proud to claim the title Of United States Marine."

23.

What does it mean?

The Halls of Montezuma refers to the battle of Chapultepec in 1847, the Marines took Chapultepec

Castle in Mexico City and the took the city in the Mexican-American War.

The second line refers the Barbary War in the early 1800s when the United States and

Sweden went up against some North African states.

You can actually learn a lot just from analyzing the full song.

There are pirates involved, and who doesn't like reading about pirates.

22.

Normandy Invasion One of the things some people find strange

is that it was the American army who made up most of the Normandy invasion and not the

marines.

Storming the land from the sea, isn't that what the marines are trained to do?

The reason was simply about numbers.

The army had 89 divisions in the war and the Marines had just 6.

The marines were scattered around the world, especially the Pacific, and the army had enough

troops for the invasion.

21.

Marines in other worlds It's often Marines that are depicted fighting

on other planets.

They ended up in the film Aliens, in the movie Avatar as the "jarhead Clan" and also

in the video game Doom.

20.

How to save your friends A marine called Jason Lee Dunham was posthumously

given the medal of honor for an act of valor.

The marine serving in Iraq with the 3rd Battalion 7th Marines threw himself on a grenade and

tried to cover it with his helmet.

It exploded and he was very seriously hurt.

His comrades however were not seriously hurt.

Gunham was evacuated but his injuries were grave, and his life support was turned off

in 2004.

During the posthumous presentation of the medal of honor the first few lines read, "For

conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of his life above and beyond the call

of duty."

19.

Getting there fast In 2002 the U.S, air force and the marines

began a project called "Small Unit Space Transport and Insertion", the acronym being

SUSTAIN.

The object was to be able to deploy marines anywhere on the planet within just two hours

or less.

Suborbital spacecraft would be used to make this happen.

"We've batted ideas back and forth," said one of the main people involved, regarding

the challenge.

We can't find how the program has progressed recently.

18.

Bambi was a marine The kid that did the voice for the cute deer

Bambi, an animated movie made back in 1942, became a marine.

His name is Donald "Donnie" Roan Dunagan.

He's 83 today, but in his younger days – post-Bambi – he served in the marines and was awarded

a Bronze Star and three Purple Hearts.

That's a tough little deer.

17.

No girl left behind In the book, "Goodnight Saigon" by Charles

Henderson, it's written that during the Evacuation of Saigon by American Troops in

1975 one marine called Gregory Hargis drove a truck full of prostitutes to an airstrip

and put them on a C-141.

He said they were his friends and signed a responsibility form for them.

This is some of the dialogue in the book: "Where we go," they chimed together.

"You go stateside," Hargis called back.

16.

Reckless The marines had a horse they named Reckless,

but we are not sure how conscious the horse was of its recklessness.

During the Korean War the warhorse carried ammunition, wounded soldiers and more.

She made many, many missions and was injured for her efforts.

She was awarded 2 purple hearts and became a staff sergeant.

15.

Hard Times The New York Times reported in 2009 that when

times are tough economically in the USA and the marines have enough recruits they would

change their ads.

Rather than tempt folks to join they would make marine life look really hard.

When numbers fall, expect to see more enticing ads.

14.

Peyote Again, from the New York Times, there is a

report in 1997 that tells us native Americans were allowed to take peyote – containing

the psychedelic drug mescaline – in the marines in spite of antidrug policies.

It was decided they could on the grounds of their religion, but not on the battlefield

of course.

13.

Feed your head The marines are given a reading list.

Marines must read history, some biographies, and lots about war.

They must also read the U.S. Constitution.

It states on the Library of the Marine Corps website, "I want Marines to read beyond

the list, too, especially paying attention to current events, science and technology

and what our potential adversaries are up to around the world."

12.

The Drill A marine was saved by ad hoc brain surgery

partly using a Black and Decker drill.

The surgeon was CNN chief medical correspondent Dr Sanjay Gupta.

In 2007 the doctor wrote in a CNN article, "I remember the day well.

It was in April of 2003.

A 23-year-old Marine, Jesus Vidana, suddenly fell to the ground, his helmet and head bloodied

by a sniper's bullet."

Gupta writes that the marine survived and did well, saying he wouldn't be telling

you the story if it hadn't gone that way.

11.

Older than the actual country The US marine corps is actually older than

the USA itself, which you should know if you now your history.

It was formed one year before the Declaration of Independence.

10.

Talking down the enemy At the battles for Saipan and Tinian islands

in 1944 during World War II a US marine called Guy Louis Gabaldon is said to have convinced

1,300 Japanese soldiers to surrender.

How did he do this?

After shining shoes on Skid Row and joining a gang he went to live with a Japanese family

when he was 12.

He learned the language and their customs.

For his efforts he became known as the 'The Pied Piper of Saipan'.

9.

Raising the flag One of the soldiers from that famous moment

in history when soldiers raised the American flag on Mount Suribachi during the Battle

of Iwo Jima in world war two, was actually color blind.

It's said he got in the marines by memorizing what another man had said in the tests.

He was killed in action a week after that flag was raised.

8.

Look smart Stars and Stripes writes that when marines

are in uniform they should always be well groomed.

But another thing they are told not to do is put their hands in their pockets.

"Again, if you are in the field and it is cold, and you don't have gloves, common

sense says, put your hands in your pocket, but you better not do it in garrison," said

Mary Boyt, of the Marine Corps Uniform Board.

But what if you have an itch in a certain spot?

Stars and Stripes didn't ask that question.

7.

And if it rains?

Male marines are not allowed to carry umbrellas.

This was called a silly rule by some American media after conservatives were apparently

outraged at a photo of a marine holding an umbrella over President Barrack Obama.

By the way, female marines can hold umbrellas.

6.

Drinking snake blood Every year American marines visit Thailand

and do all kinds of jungle exercises.

It's known as Cobra Gold and is a big deal in the Thai media.

It culminates with U.S. marines cutting off a cobra's head and drinking its blood.

5.

The hidden pin Some marines have a pin with their next rank

they could be promoted to somewhere on their uniform, but they often keep that pin covered.

4.

Cake Time During the marine corps birthday every year

there is cake.

The first piece is given to the guest of honor, the second to the oldest marine at the party

and the third to the youngest marine.

We guess then it's a free-for-all.

3.

The band The marines have had a band since 1798, which

has been performing for American presidents at their inauguration since Thomas Jefferson

in 1801.

It's called "The President's Own."

It's usually pretty formal music, although Theodore Roosevelt's daughter Alice asked

the band to perform a Scott Joplin ragtime number.

2.

Loss of life While marines died in small numbers in the

18th and 19th centuries, it wasn't until World War I's Battle of Belleau Wood that

huge numbers died in one battle.

It's said around 5,000 marines died.

1.

Carrying a lot of money around Star Spangled Flags wrote in 2017 that these

days each marine carries about $14,000 worth of gear and equipment, and that's not even

including night-vision goggles.

The Huffington Post writes that top of the range goggles can cost as much as $20,000.

They can be much cheaper, but we guess the marines have the good stuff.

It's also said that in the early 2000s marines would carry just $2,500 worth of gear.

So, are there any other shocking facts about the US Marines that we didn't mention?

SO YOU KNOW, OF COURSE, THAT THE

BIG SHOWDOWN IS COMING UP LATER

THIS WEEK, ON THURSDAY WHEN HE

WILL -- WELL, I DON'T KNOW IF

HE'S GOING TO COME FACE TO FACE

WITH KRISTINE FORD.

HARVEY: HE WON'T.

THEY'LL BE DOING IT SEPARATELY.

CHARLES: BUT THE TESTIMONY FROM

BOTH OF THEM IS EXTREMELY EAMED.

HARVEY: AND THE THING IS THAT

THESE SENATORS, IT'S JUST DUMB

THAT THEY'RE COMING OUT ON BOTH

SIDES SAYING WE'VE MADE UP OUR

MIND.

THEY HAVEN'T HEARD THE

TESTIMONY.

HONESTLY, I SOUND STUPID BECAUSE

THEIR JOB IS TO LISTEN TO THE

TESTIMONY AND THEN FORM A

JUDGMENT.

TO PREJUDGE IT AND THEN SIT HERE

--

CHARLES: YOU'D RAMP HEAR THEM

SAY I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO WHAT

THEY BOTH HAVE TO SAY.

HARVEY: ANYWAY, JUDY HAS DONE

THIS FOR A LONG TIME.

ONE HOPES THAT PEOPLE WAIT

AND DON'T RUSH TO JUDGMENT AND

LISTEN TO BOTH SIDES OF AN

ARGUMENT BEFORE THEY MAKE A

DECISION.

THAT'S WHAT'S SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN

IN A FAIR JUDICIAL PROCESS.

THEY'RE SUPPOSED TO LISTEN, NOT

RUSH TO JUDGMENT.

LISTEN TO EVIDENCE AND MAKE A

JUDGMENT.

AND IF THAT DOESN'T HAPPEN, THEN

THE END RESULT IS NOT FAIR.

HARVEY: IT'S SUCH A BASIC

CONCEPT THAT SHE JUST SAID AND

YET LOST IN WASHINGTON, D.C.

CHARLES: AND BECAUSE WE'VE HEARD

FROM SO MANY SENATORS ALREADY,

IT MAKES YOU FEEL LIKE WHAT SHE

SAID THERE IS THE THING, THAT

WHATEVER THE END RESULT IS NO

ONE IS GOING TO FEEL LIKE IT'S

FAIR.

HARVEY: IT'S GOING TO BE A

FARCE.

TOO BAD AND IT'S BAD FOR AMERICA

BECAUSE THE NEXT TIME AND THE

NEXT TIME THIS SETS A PRECEDENT.

YOU WANT TO BE FAIR AND HEAR IT

OUT AND NOT PREJUDGE IT.

Does One Vote Even Matter? - Duration: 2:10.

- [Narrator] Midterm elections are coming up.

But does your vote actually make a difference?

U.S. voter turnout is amongst the lowest

in the entire developed world.

And it might be because we feel like

our individual vote won't make a difference

in the mass of votes.

Like one Skittle will make a difference

in a jar of hundreds.

But it's time we stop horsing around and we get to voting.

'Cause democracy, it's like pretty important.

You might think one vote won't make a difference.

But if you and the person next to you

feel the same way, then that creates a domino effect

that could lead to the loss of a bunch of votes.

Plus who says a few votes can't make a difference?

Check this out.

In 2000, George W. Bush won Florida by only 537 votes.

About six million votes were cast in Florida,

which means that he won by only 0.009%

and this gave him the presidency.

In 1839, Marcus Morton became the governor of Massachusetts

thanks to one vote.

So like, out of this pool of ducks,

this one dude made history.

I know it feels like our votes are microscopic,

but so is that bacteria that caused the Black Plague

and that killed about 25 million people, so

small things can have a big impact.

In 1994, two candidates from Wyoming State House

received the exact same number of votes.

Randall Luthi won the seat

when his name, written on a ping pong ball,

was drawn from a cowboy hat.

And again in 2011, Tanya Flanagan

and Linda Meisenheimer tied during a primary election

in North Las Vegas.

Meisenheimer drew the higher card

securing her spot in the general election,

which she went on to lose but that's not the point.

Another example comes from 2008,

when Democrat Al Franken beat Republican Norm Coleman

by 312 votes out of almost 2.9 million votes cast.

312 votes is about 0.011%.

That's like nothing.

And there's so many other examples for this.

This happens a lot ya'll.

Especially during midterms.

Like push your friends to the voting polls,

bring your aunt and uncle,

your brother, Adam and his boyfriend, Steve.

So regardless of what party you are voting for,

you should get to voting.

One-Hit Wonders You Didn't Realize Passed Away - Duration: 6:10.

We all have a favorite one-hit wonder that song you just can't help but sing or dance

along to every time you hear it.

But as is the nature of one-hit wonders, we often have no idea what happened to their

performers after that initial success.

In fact, you may not even realize that several of your favorite one-hit wonders have sadly

passed away.

Rich Cronin Run up to any '80s or '90s baby and say, "New

Kids on the Block had a bunch of hits," and they're pretty much guaranteed to respond

with, "Chinese food makes me sick!"

For those of you who are still trying to figure out what the New Kids have to do with Asian

cuisine, these lyrics are actually the chorus of the uber-popular 1999 hit "Summer Girls"

by the boy band LFO.

The group consisted of Devin Lima, Brad Fischetti, and Rich Cronin.

They were TRL posterboys and their catchy, fun-loving jam was on heavy rotation.

After complaining of painful headaches, Cronin was diagnosed with a form of blood cancer

in 2005.

That same year, he established the Rich Cronin Hope Foundation to bring awareness to the

importance of the volunteer bone marrow registry.

He was able to bounce back from his health crisis and in 2008 released a solo album called

Billion Dollar Sound.

He also appeared as a cast member on the VH1 reality show Mission: Man Band.

Cronin announced that he was back in the studio in 2010, but we never got to hear what he

was working on.

He passed away on September 8, 2010 after suffering a stroke at the age of 35.

Michael Cuccione To capitalize on the popularity of boy bands

in the '90s and early-2000s, the fictional group 2Gether was created.

A self-titled MTV movie parody followed, along with a spin-off series that chronicled the

formation of the band.

The made-for-TV film became so popular that the guys became real-life pop stars.

Among the characters was Michael Cuccione, who played Jason "Q.T."

Mcknight.

When the MTV spin-off series aired, Cuccione was noticeably absent from the last few episodes.

His character suffered from a fictional ailment, but in real life, Cuccione was battling health

issues, too.

At the age of 9, he was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma.

After successful rounds of chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant, his uncle told MTV

News that he was cancer-free.

But the treatments left him with respiratory issues that claimed his life just eight days

after his 16th birthday.

Melanie Thornton Along with her bandmate Lane McCray, Melanie

Thornton helped form the '90s group La Bouche.

Their Euro-inspired pop songs boomed through the speakers of nightclubs across the globe,

and their most popular hit, "Be My Lover," peaked at number 6 on the Billboard charts.

By 2000, Thornton decided to leave the group behind, and she released her first and last

solo album called Ready to Fly in May 2001.

On November 24th, 2001, Thornton was aboard a plane traveling from Berlin to Zurich which

crashed just a few miles short of its final destination, killing her and 23 other passengers.

She was 34.

Natina Reed Shamari Fears, Brandi Williams, and Natina

Reed started the 90's girl group Blaque, and their most successful song, "Bring it all

to Me," hit number 5 on the Billboard charts.

Many compared the group to a younger version of TLC, and Reed's style was similar to TLC

group member Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes, who took her under her wing as her protegé.

In 2000, Reed starred in the hit Kirsten Dunst flick Bring it On, but her future in the entertainment

industry was cut short.

On October 26, 2012, Reed was walking along a Georgia roadway when a vehicle struck her.

The driver called 911, and Reed was transported to a hospital, where she died.

She was 32 years old and left behind a 10-year-old son.

Dan Hartman He may be dismissed by some as a one-hit wonder,

but Dan Hartman was actually an accomplished producer and songwriter who penned hits for

James Brown, Tina Turner, and Joe Cocker.

As a solo singer, Hartman made the Billboard Top 100 Chart multiple times, though his most

well-known jam, "I Can Dream About You," was his only song to crack the top ten.

That was in 1984, and just ten years later, he succumbed to a brain tumor, which was a

complication from AIDS.

Minnie Riperton Long before Mariah Carey blew listeners away

with her nearly ear-piercing high-octave range, singer/songwriter Minnie Riperton secured

her place in vocalist history with the high note in "Lovin' You."

According to Riperton's husband, singer/songwriter Richard Rudolph, "Lovin' You" originated from

a melody Riperton was humming over a "jazz samba" he was playing while she cooked a meal.

They recorded the melody to use as a distraction for their new baby, Maya, who quote "never

wanted her mama out of her sight."

In case you missed that, yes, we're talking about a young Maya Rudolph of SNL fame.

Riperton passed away just four years after "Lovin' You" made it all the way to the number

1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100.

Stuart Adamson The UK pop band Big Country found international

success with the track "In a Big Country."

MTV's heavy rotation of the accompanying music video catapulted it onto the Billboard Hot

100, despite the fact that it received little radio airplay.

The band continued making albums for more than a decade after its smash debut, but the

group never repeated its initial success. The band was on hiatus after a brief reunion tour

when lead singer Stuart Adamson's body was found in a hotel room in Hawaii after he'd

been declared missing for more than a month.

Adamson's death was ruled a suicide.

He was 34.

Simone Battle The creator of the Pussycat Dolls used the

same formula of beautiful women, skimpy outfits, and girl power songs to create the pop group

G.R.L.

Its members Emmalyn Estrada, Paula van Oppen, Lauren Bennett, Natasha Slayton, and Simone

Battle began recording songs in 2013 and really broke out when they were featured on the Pitbull

track "Wild Wild Love."

Then, tragedy struck.

Battle was found hanging in her Hollywood home on September 5th, 2014, and her death

was ruled a suicide.

Friends and family told investigators Battle was allegedly suffering from depression and

struggling with money issues.

Though the group had just returned from a successful overseas tour, sources claimed

Battle feared G.R.L. would never become a huge hit in the States.

G.R.L. attempted to continue performing after Battle's death but disbanded nine months later.

Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-TALK (8255).

How Do Temporary Tattoos Work? - Duration: 3:13.

[INtro]

Oh, hi Squeaks!

I'm looking through these designs to see what I want to use as a temporary tattoo.

That's a type of tattoo that only stays on your skin for a few days.

[Squeaks asks if he can pick one too]

Yeah, I thought we could do this together as our activity for today!

We'll just need to get some special tattoos for you so the ink doesn't stain you.

It's not too hard for me to rub it off of my skin,

but these tattoos might not work the same way on robot rats.

[She shows him another sheet of paper with the tattoos for him --

they're just stickers.

(we can probably do this as B-roll)]

These stickers are just like temporary tattoos,

except it will be much easier for you to take them off.

While you decide which one you want, should we try mine?

The way it works is pretty cool.

Let's take a look!

We start out with the design for the tattoo sandwiched between special types of paper.

The design is just made of ink, like what's in a pen or marker, with some sticky stuff

mixed in.

But for the tattoo to work, you need to be able to get the ink to unstick from the paper

and stick to your skin.

It's tricky!

So here's how the companies that make the tattoos do it.

See the paper on the back of the tattoo?

That's actually two different layers of paper.

The one at the back, with some writing on it, is basically just regular paper.

You'll see why in a minute.

On top of that is a special type of paper called a silicone release layer.

It's actually the same thing that's behind stickers when you peel them off.

It feels kind of slippery when you touch it.

The sticky stuff mixed with the ink -- or on the back of the stickers you'll be using

as tattoos,

Squeaks -- can stick to this slippery silicone, but it doesn't stick too strongly.

That way it stays put for now, but it can also come off pretty easily.

Then, on top of the ink, there's this plastic, see?

That's called the transfer layer.

"Transfer" just means to move something from one place to another, and when you're ready

to transfer the tattoo from the paper to your skin,

the first thing you do is pull this plastic layer off.

But before we do that, let's prepare a wet paper towel.

It shouldn't be soaking wet --

just a little damp.

Next, you flip the paper over so the design is pressing against your skin where you want

the tattoo to be,

with the paper on top.

Then you take your wet paper towel and squeeze it against the other side of the tattoo paper.

Remember how we said this was just a layer of regular paper behind the silicone?

That's so the water can go through the paper and get to the silicone.

When the silicone gets wet, the ink and sticky stuff that make up the tattoo slide right

off and stick to your skin instead!

Once you get the paper wet,

all you have to do is wait about thirty seconds.

Then you carefully lift off the paper and ... voila!

A tattoo!

The design will stay stuck to my skin for a few days, until eventually it starts to

rub off.

But since it would be a lot harder to get it to unstick from a robot rat,

we have our tattoo stickers for Squeaks here.

So, Squeaks, let's do yours!

Have you picked out the design you want?

Thanks for joining us!

If you want to keep learning and having fun with Squeaks and me,

hit the subscribe button, and don't forget to check us out on the YouTube Kids app.

We'll see you next time, here at the Fort!

Everything You Would Want To Know About the Airbus Beluga! - Duration: 10:48.

Here's everything you would want to know about the Airbus Beluga!

7 - The Oversized Whale You guys ever see a whale flying in the sky?

Okay, okay, maybe not an ACTUAL whale, but the Airbus Beluga is close enough!

The Airbus Beluga is a version of the standard wide-body Airbus A300 modified to carry aircraft

parts and oversized cargo.

At first it was initially known as the Super Transporter, but later it was given the name

Beluga, which is a whale that the plane resembles.

The fact that it looks like a Beluga whale is what makes it totally unique!

Okay, there are other things as well.

Anyways, there's actually going to be a new Beluga flying the skies soon.

The next in line Beluga is a much larger version.

The Beluga XL is based on the Airbus A330 with modifications.

It'll be 20 feet longer and three feet wider than the original Beluga.

It'll also be able to lift six more tons, but the extra weight the new Beluga XL can

carry isn't what's really important here, it's all the extra space the XL has!

The outgoing Beluga can only carry one wing of the popular A350 XWB airliner.

However, the XL can carry both!

The first Beluga XL is slated to enter service in 2019, after which Airbus plans to build

four more to round out the fleet.

Of course, this new jet has to pass many tests before it can swing open its front-opening

cargo door and gulp down whatever needs transporting.

The Beluga XL's first test flight was back on July 19th, 2018!

C'mon guys, what do you think?

Do you think this airplane looks pretty cute?!

6 - Airbus Beluga Origins It was back in September of 1992 that construction

began for the first Beluga aircraft.

The initial Airbus Beluga took off exactly two years later.

Yep, again, in the month of September if you've been following what we've been saying!

A total of three hundred and thirty five flight hours were tested as part of the initial program

and a restricted certification was awarded.

The European Aviation Safety Agency, in October of 1995 gave the approval for the Super Transporter,

or really, the first Airbus Beluga to enter full-time service.

Once the aircraft passed the quality test, four more Belugas were built, approximately

one per year.

However, each airframe apparently took around three years to construct.

All the modifications were performed in Toulouse, France using parts provided by the Airbus

production line.

The primary task of the Beluga fleet was to carry the Airbus components that were ready

for the final assembly in different locations across Europe.

The Airbus Beluga Fleet flew from Toulouse, France to Hamburg, Germany, and nine additional

sites, about 60 times every week!

5 - Beluga Design The Airbus Beluga essentially incorporates

the best features of many aircraft.

The design of the Beluga is similar to an Airbus A300, but of course, it looks different.

The upper part of the Beluga is 25 feet in diameter and horseshoe-shaped.

However, the wings, engine, the landing gear and the bottom part of the fuselage are similar

to that of the A300.

We did say similar though.

The turbo engine is an upgrade from the one used in the A300.

The payload of the Beluga is more than double of its predecessor, the Super Guppy.

The Beluga doesn't have a tail-plane trim tank but instead has auxiliary fins for directional

stability.

Of course, because of the fact that it's a plane made especially for carrying large

cargo, the cockpit was relocated to provide easy access to the cargo area without needing

to disconnect the electrical, or hydraulic and flight control connections.

This reduced the time for loading by half when compared to the Super Guppy that required

disconnection and reconnection.

The Beluga also adopted roll-on and roll-off loading systems and the beluga can also be

unloaded in high winds, although, who really wants to unload stuff during say, a category

5 Hurricane?!

Anyways, the Beluga is flown with just a crew of 3!

Two pilots and a loadmaster.

Even though the Beluga is great for transporting airplane parts, it's not great for any humongous

animals that needs to get somewhere as the cargo deck isn't pressurized.

For any King Kong sized animals, guess they'll just have to travel the old-fashioned way

by sea!

4 - Beluga History

Beluga started its dedicated service in January 1996, ferrying components from many aerospace

sites to the final assembly lines in Toulouse, France and Hamburg, Germany.

The Super Guppy freighters previously used to do cargo transport for Airbus were retired

on October 24th, 1997 and from then on the cargo missions were exclusively performed

by the new Beluga fleet.

In 1997, the fleet had done more than 2,500 flight-hours across more than 1,400 flights.

By 2012 the fleet was doing 5,000 flight-hours per year!

In June 1997, a world record was set for the most voluminous payload carried by an aircraft

when a Beluga was used to transport a chemical tank for a merchant vessel!

In February 2003, a single Beluga performed the farthest distance charter flight ever,

having flown for 25 hours, not including refueling stops!

3 - Oversized Cargo as a Specialty

Beluga specializes in carrying large payloads in aircraft.

It's been regularly used for transporting heavy objects, such as large vehicles for

space programs.

Apart from fulfilling its primary duty of transporting freight, it also has been used

as a charter flight for various purposes.

Initially, the fleet was unable to spare time for charter, but as the number of Beluga aircrafts

increased, available flight hours were freed up for charter flights.

And oh yeah, remember what we just mentioned earlier?

You guys remember right?!

Here, we'll mention it again!

The Beluga set the world payload carrying record in 1997 for transporting a chemical

tank!

From then on, there was no stopping the Beluga.

Here's another ridiculous thing carried by a Beluga.

Have you heard of the painting, Liberty leading the people by Eugene Delacroix?

That painting had been hanging in the Louvre in Paris since 1874.

However, in 1999, this large painting, which was almost 10 feet high and 12 feet long,

was needed to be transported from Paris to Tokyo.

The problem was, the painting couldn't fit inside a 747! Yep, you guys guessed it, a

Beluga was called to solve this problem!

The technical team used a special container with isothermal protection and an anti-vibration

device and placed the painting in the Beluga in a vertical position.

As we mentioned earlier, the Beluga has been used to carry many various components for

space programs.

For example, in 2004, multiple Belugas were used to deliver Astrium built satellites to

Kazakhstan over multiple flights.

Also, in 2009, a Beluga was used to transport a large piece of the International Space Station

from Turin, Italy to Kennedy Space Centre in the United States.

The Beluga also was used to airdrop relief supplies to the victims of the 2004 Tsunami.

In 2005, it was used in disaster relief operations for Hurricane Katrina by supplying medical

aid from the UK and France to the Gulf coast of the US.

The Beluga has had some really important tasks!

2 - Beluga Safety

Just how safe is the Beluga anyways?

Well, just like any other plane, it's really safe!

The first week of June in 2018 saw the new Beluga XL clear the static vibration test

that was conducted by the DLR, which is the German equivalent of NASA.

The test involved 14 electrodynamic shakers, which are basically long metal poles attached

to various points of the aircraft, such as the tail, the wing tips, and the engines.

These thin rods then piston back and forth, just to make the Beluga XL vibrate.

Meanwhile, while the plane was doing it's best impression of some girl twerking, 600

sensors, connected by 23,000 feet of cable, measured the acceleration and displacement

of the Beluga's horizontal and vertical stabilizers as well as the rudder on the tail!

The reason for this shakedown, so to speak, is to improve Airbus's understanding of

how the Beluga would behave in the air, that way Airbus can update its computer models

as needed.

The test is also key for ensuring the plane won't fall victim to flutter, which is where

parts of the aircraft start to oscillate and increasing in amplitude until things just

start falling apart!

Flutter is what triggered the famous swaying and collapse of the Tacoma Narrows Bridge,

also known as Galloping Gertie, in 1940!

Of all the things you wouldn't want your airplane to do, #1 on the list is to have

its wings fall off right?

Airbus said it was pleased with the results, so we're guessing that no wings are falling

off the Beluga XL anytime soon!

1 - The Whale Makeover

We mentioned earlier that the Beluga was named after the Arctic whale, because of its resemblance

with the beluga whale and its signature forehead hump.

The Beluga has been in service for over 20 years transporting fuselage sections, wings

and tails from suppliers to Airbus assembly plants in France and Germany.

After over 20 years, Airbus finally decided to give it a makeover!

Instead of just resembling a whale in shape, Airbus decided to actually make the plane

look as much like a Beluga whale as possible with the Beluga XL!

Airbus had asked its employees to choose how its new Beluga XL should appear to the world.

More than 40% of its employees chose the design with the Beluga XL having bright blue eyes

and a smiling black mouth, a design that beat out five other ones.

The addition of a happy face to the distinctly-shaped airframe that gave rise to the iconic aircraft's

name will further reinforce the Beluga in the public's mind don't you guys think?!

Here's what's next!

Malorie Bailey Shares the Pain of Always Being in Her Sister's Shadow | Iyanla: Fix My Life | OWN - Duration: 2:51.

Let your heart break.

Just let it break so that you can get underneath that stuff.

Why is this happening to you?

Why would he do this to you?

Why would you let somebody do this to you?

Why?

Why would you do it?

Why would you dishonor and disgrace

and disown and disrespect yourself to this degree?

Why?

I don't know why I've allowed it.

And that's something like I need to address and deal with.

[SIGH]

[SOMBER MUSIC PLAYING]

I want you to breathe into your heart.

Can I touch you?

Yeah, I want you to breathe in to your heart.

Yeah, come on.

You move.

[CHUCKLES]

Sit right there.

Why are you crying?

I feel like I'm just exhausted.

Yes.

Trying to make things work.

Trying to create this life.

Yeah.

And?

It's OK. Uh-huh.

No, no, no.

When you do that I know you're holding something back.

What? What was that?

What was that?

I feel like sometimes, I also have been in, somewhat,

the shadows of my sister.

That's OK. That's OK.

She's not going to be mad.

Tell your truth.

Speak you true.

Speak your true.

Why were you in her shadow?

Because we're so close and everybody just compare us.

They--

Yeah.

It's OK.

Whatever you say, it's--

I feel like I had my life until th--

until I started this show. - Yeah.

And then?

You were just her sister.

Yeah.

But that happened before too.

Didn't it?

Speak it.

It's OK.

Talk to me about when it started.

Come on.

Even though she's 11 months apart,

she's always been the one that took care of us.

- Yes. - When like in high school--

The big sister.

--she made our friends.

Before high school.

Yeah. - And she's--

You didn't have to make a choice.

Did you? Because why?

- She made it. - Yeah.

You didn't have to have a voice. Did you?

Cause why? - She made it.

She had it.

She was your big sister, and you kind of depended on her.

Right?

Yeah.

But see, Miss Malorie, that's the place we got

to start talking to from.

Iyanla Warns Against Marrying a Man for His Potential | Iyanla: Fix My Life | Oprah Winfrey Network - Duration: 2:33.

- Why are you here?

Well, I've been married for 12 years.

Uh-huh.

And I met my husband and we got married within 2

and 1/2 months of dating.

He had the potential of being the type of guy

that I was actually looking for. I mean--

The potential.

You know what potential means?

How do you define potential?

Almost, but not quite.

Ah, you're right.

Potential means you ain't doing nothing now.

[CHUCKLES]

And the only thing you can bank on

is what's going on right now.

You can't bank on what might happen.

He'd make me laugh. He was funny.

He was gorgeous. I was very attracted to him.

So why didn't you just marry him for that

instead of what might happen?

Well, I thought I could-- we can just fix-- we can work

on it together and just fix--

I can fix what he needed to be fixed.

And if I had anything--

Well, who said he wanted to be fixed?

That's where I made my mistake.

There's a few things I didn't like

about him when I first married him,

but I thought I could change him.

IYANLA (VOICEOVER): Many women convince themselves

that they can change a man to become who they want him to be.

By doing so, they bypass the step

of getting to know their partner in a meaningful way,

in part, because they haven't made the effort

to get to know themselves.

And I suspect this is the case with Miss Malorie.

It's a common mistake that women make.

They manipulate men.

But that's a clear sign of a controlling person.

And it's a clear sign of a problem relationship.

So what is the state of your marriage now?

I don't know.

You don't know?

I haven't heard from him.

We got into an argument.

When was the last time you saw your husband?

Five months ago.

How about the marriage is over.

I mean he'd never-- he won't respond.

He's responded to me a couple of times through email.

Everything you've said is about him.

You haven't said nothing about you.

What's your choice, as a woman?

What's your position, as a woman?

What's your desire, as a woman?

I filed for divorce.

So then why are you here?

I'm here because, my husband and I, we love each other.

He have a few issues.

We can work it out.

Um--

But again, you're talking about him.

I kno--

What about you?

Mediawijsheid is als een pizza: het Mediawijs Competentiemodel - Duration: 0:59.

Media are everywhere and have infinite possibilities.

You wouldn't think it at first, but how you understand and use media

has a lot in common with making pizza. It's informing yourself by looking

up how you can make the perfect Italian pizza bottom. It's amusing yourself

and getting inspired on YouTube. It's creating something and visualising that

in your own way. And interacting with photo's on Instagram

and even a book in an online shop with your own recipes.

Defending yourself with a silly meme against the negative comments of that one

trol who loves hot dogs better. To cover a mediawise pizza you can

choose from several ingredients. You can order pizza or make it yourself,

but of course you can also enjoy pizza with your family members and reflect on it

with a good glas of wine. Because media literacy is something we do together.

It fills you up and makes you happy. Just like pizza ;)

Meet SCCA's Dr. Edward N. Libby - Duration: 1:32.

- My name is Ed Libby and

in terms of what am I focused in clinically,

my research and my clinical focus for three diseases,

multiple myeloma, Waldenstrom's macroglobulinaemia,

and amyloidosis.

My focus in myeloma is caring for patients

on a daily basis in the clinic

and I see, I have one of the busiest practices

in this building, and

it's highly focused in patients with multiple myeloma.

I see newly diagnosed and relapsed patients everyday and

I'm very invested personally, intellectually, emotionally

in research studies and in the care of the patient.

I think what's unique and what's wonderful,

for me, about practicing in a place

like the SCCA and the University of Washington

is there is virtually no question

I can come up with about a patient

that I don't have somebody,

in the building or

a mile up the street at UW,

has the answer.

So we have really almost every expert

you can dream of at our beck and call,

and that's a good feeling as a physician,

I have practiced in more limited environments

and I don't like it, I like having experts

everywhere around me.

Comic Artist Jess Smart Smiley - Duration: 3:59.

When my very first graphic novel came out

I was invited to teach a week-long comics workshop

to teenagers. I'd never taught comics.

I just finished my first comic.

I was still learning, like how does this work,

I'm still learning, what are comics

how do they work, like what are these things?

And now I'm supposed to teach teenagers.

The most unruly, vile, bunch of

miscreants. Just kidding I love teenagers.

I'm just messing with you.

I always struggled in school when the teacher

gave us an assignment that we were

supposed to do one way in order for

us to learn one thing out of it

and if you didn't get it ... you, the whole thing is

lost on you. That happened to me a few times

and I didn't want that experience for these

comics students so I came up with

these activity pages. You can come to it

with your own skill level or whatever age you are

whatever writing and drawing means to you.

You jumped in I give you a simple

activity; here are two characters talking

but the speech bubbles are empty,

fill them in. Partner up

one of you is gonna be character one

the other will be character two, complete the story with text.

And kids were into it.

it was cool to see teenagers being excited

and it gave them ideas for their own things

and they kept going with it which was the whole point.

And we got a deal through

Penguin Random House and they liked the idea

of using an activity book

as a way to teach children and teenagers

and adults in a really fun way all the different

parts and pieces of comics,

how they work. We pay attention to the

mechanics of a comic.

Comics are a form of storytelling.

There are nonfiction comics as well as fiction comics.

There are comics in every genre. Comics are not

superhero stories. The strength that

comics have over any of the other media

is that they're using words and pictures

in a very unique way. In a picture book

you might have one picture that fills up

the whole page. In a novel you probably don't have

any pictures. in a movie you

have one image, basically, that fills the whole screen

in a comic book you can lay

seven images right next to each other

on the same page in a sequence and

it has a certain effect on the reader

and on the story and in one aspect it can be

accumulative, you know.

They create a rhythm, they create a tone

a structure. They set expectations

for the reader and then on the next page

if you have three panels you've just kind of

messed with those expectations for the reader,

hopefully in a way that tells a good story.

But it's a ... it's a real strength.

And I'm not a champion of comics

in the sense that I say everyone

has to read them, or else. I'm not the

comics dictator, but I do think there's a story

for everyone. This is my 78 sketchbook

that I've completed. Dad got me started

keeping a journal when I was 8.

I wrote in it often enough and then I start

drawing in it and eventually my sketchbook

became my journal and my to-do list

and my notebook and my idea book.

So I take my sketchbook with me everywhere.

it's my private playground is what I call it.

it's like a place

I can go to and explore and experiment

and try new things. And it's cool if it doesn't

work out because it's my

permission to try it.

I feel like creativity is just problem-solving,

just problem solving.

That's one distinction from us and our animal friends,

is that we can consider potentials.

We can consider possibilities.

We can imagine different endings in different scenarios

in different situations

so that we can address whatever outcome

we want and we can align ourselves

with that path. And I think that's being creative

is thinking of and pursuing

those paths and so I feel like

that's my job in talking with parents,

educators, librarians as well as

teenagers and children is showing

them; you can tell all kinds of stories ...

the end.

Meghan Markle reveals what everyone has to do when they see her wedding dress - Duration: 2:20.

Meghan Markle 's Givenchy wedding dress was absolutely stunning, but it was her five-metre veil which really stole the show

The Duchess surprised her husband Prince Harry by having wild flowers from each of the 53 countries in the Commonwealth embroidered into her silk veil

The gown, veil and tiara will go on display at Windsor Castle and Holyrood Castle in Scotland as part of the A Royal Wedding : The Duke and Duchess of Sussex exhibition

Ahead of the event, Meghan was reunited with her Clare Waight Keller dress for the first time for ITV's Queen of the World documentary - and it's clear to see how much she adores it

Speaking on the show, she revealed what she wants everyone who goes to the exhibition to do when they see the veil

She said: "No specific flower repeats itself. I know that was part of how they had put everything together

"I hope that when people come they can find their flower for their country.  "Because we have Australia, India, there are so many different beautiful features

"  She also explained why it was so important to her to have the Commonwealth represented in her wedding dress

She said: "I think also with Harry's role as Youth Ambassador for the Commonweath it was so important for us to have the spirit of inclusively in our wedding

"I stuck in a couple of flowers that were important to me as well, personally. There is a California poppy in there which has nothing to do with the Commonwealth but it's where I'm from

"It's ours. It really feels like it's important to us." Queen of the World is available on the ITV Hub

I've been invited to Victron Energy HQ! - 61 - Duration: 6:12.

{Music}

I will explain in a moment why I am in Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam.

Hello, thanks very much for watching. This is a canal but I'm not

in the British Isles. I'm in the Netherlands and more importantly I am in

the city of Almere, which is the home of Victron headquarters.

After seeing a load of my videos on batteries and MultiPlus

and battery monitors and things, they got in contact, they flew me out here

today. I've had a really nice lunch with the managing director of Victron and

his dad, the founder and I'm really pleased to say, I am working for Victron.

I'm going to be doing a series of videos for them, helping them with a new

communications platform. I will be carrying on doing Journey with Jono

don't you worry but whilst I'm here, I thought I might as well nose around

their headquarters! So lets go and have a look.

As you know I have many Victron items on my narrowboat and heavily rely upon

them to provide my day-to-day power. The company has around 90 staff and that

includes 35 research and development engineers, with some of them based here.

They're currently working on a brand new Phoenix Inverter Smart which will be

formally announced to the public in November. It's in a new slimline box and

you can see all of its settings on your mobile, using Bluetooth. Being an off-grid

company they of course have a large solar array on their roof and 24x 2 volt

batteries to store the energy. They use the power for their buildings general

needs as well as Cindy here, who monitors how the distributor's orders around the

world are being dealt with. As I have my system connected to the Internet,

one of the engineers here was able to log in to Alice and not only see the

equipment I'm using and how the system is currently running, but also diagnose

issues if needed and all remotely from this office. I'm really pleased to report,

everything is fine with my setup whilst I'm away. If anything should go wrong

with Victrons equipment it will usually end up here, in the service area.

A handful of engineers will diagnose the problem and not only fix it but liaised

with the R&D department upstairs to ensure future kit doesn't suffer the same fault.

Then it was time to corner the boss and ask him some questions

about the future of Victron.

In the immediate future we need to make things

simpler. So by next year I hope that lots of things you now do with VEConfigure

and VEFlash are done with Victron Connect and that will take, that will make

it a lot easier to work with our equipment. Both for installers

and for ourselves too to help people. [Jono] Will there be any intelligent things

coming in? Yes, yes we're keen especially on VRM to do

more monitoring of what's the expected solar yield versus the yield that's

coming out of the system, which on a, in a battery based system is not that easy.

The solar production depends on the load. If there's no load in your boat, the

production will also be lower so that requires some intelligence. [Jono] A couple of

viewers have asked me to ask you, what colour I should paint Alice. Yeah Alice

your boat. Yeah well our boat is white and has a blue Victron is written on it

in blue. I don't know if I'd get another boat, I'd do white. Dark blue. On a sailing

boat I like dark blue, that's nice and get a sailing boat, a boat sailing [Jono] A proper boat?

Yes with sails!

And now I'm back on the lovely Ashby Canal. I've come up this far because I'm

quite close by to the carpenter, one of my viewers that has offered to help

me with inside Alice. I've got another friend that has come up from London

he's a viewer that has decided to buy a narrowboat. His name is Steve he's helping

me with inside the boat and he's got a Rottweiler, Millie. Now Molly and Millie

get on like a house on fire, really, really well. Really pleased to see and

earlier on in the summer, when he came up Molly taught Millie how to swim in

the in the cut which was good. So I'll stay on the Ashby Canal for a little bit

longer and crack on with some of these jobs. It was really, really great going to

to the Netherlands and now it's time to do lots of videos for them, up my game

again with Journey with Jono and get Alice sorted, including painting her. So I've

got all loads and loads of stuff to come. So thanks very much for watching and I

will see you very soon.

Comic Artist Jess Smart Smiley - Duration: 3:59.

When my very first graphic novel came out

I was invited to teach a week-long comics workshop

to teenagers. I'd never taught comics.

I just finished my first comic.

I was still learning, like how does this work,

I'm still learning, what are comics

how do they work, like what are these things?

And now I'm supposed to teach teenagers.

The most unruly, vile, bunch of

miscreants. Just kidding I love teenagers.

I'm just messing with you.

I always struggled in school when the teacher

gave us an assignment that we were

supposed to do one way in order for

us to learn one thing out of it

and if you didn't get it ... you, the whole thing is

lost on you. That happened to me a few times

and I didn't want that experience for these

comics students so I came up with

these activity pages. You can come to it

with your own skill level or whatever age you are

whatever writing and drawing means to you.

You jumped in I give you a simple

activity; here are two characters talking

but the speech bubbles are empty,

fill them in. Partner up

one of you is gonna be character one

the other will be character two, complete the story with text.

And kids were into it.

it was cool to see teenagers being excited

and it gave them ideas for their own things

and they kept going with it which was the whole point.

And we got a deal through

Penguin Random House and they liked the idea

of using an activity book

as a way to teach children and teenagers

and adults in a really fun way all the different

parts and pieces of comics,

how they work. We pay attention to the

mechanics of a comic.

Comics are a form of storytelling.

There are nonfiction comics as well as fiction comics.

There are comics in every genre. Comics are not

superhero stories. The strength that

comics have over any of the other media

is that they're using words and pictures

in a very unique way. In a picture book

you might have one picture that fills up

the whole page. In a novel you probably don't have

any pictures. in a movie you

have one image, basically, that fills the whole screen

in a comic book you can lay

seven images right next to each other

on the same page in a sequence and

it has a certain effect on the reader

and on the story and in one aspect it can be

accumulative, you know.

They create a rhythm, they create a tone

a structure. They set expectations

for the reader and then on the next page

if you have three panels you've just kind of

messed with those expectations for the reader,

hopefully in a way that tells a good story.

But it's a ... it's a real strength.

And I'm not a champion of comics

in the sense that I say everyone

has to read them, or else. I'm not the

comics dictator, but I do think there's a story

for everyone. This is my 78 sketchbook

that I've completed. Dad got me started

keeping a journal when I was 8.

I wrote in it often enough and then I start

drawing in it and eventually my sketchbook

became my journal and my to-do list

and my notebook and my idea book.

So I take my sketchbook with me everywhere.

it's my private playground is what I call it.

it's like a place

I can go to and explore and experiment

and try new things. And it's cool if it doesn't

work out because it's my

permission to try it.

I feel like creativity is just problem-solving,

just problem solving.

That's one distinction from us and our animal friends,

is that we can consider potentials.

We can consider possibilities.

We can imagine different endings in different scenarios

in different situations

so that we can address whatever outcome

we want and we can align ourselves

with that path. And I think that's being creative

is thinking of and pursuing

those paths and so I feel like

that's my job in talking with parents,

educators, librarians as well as

teenagers and children is showing

them; you can tell all kinds of stories ...

the end.
