Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4
With its Battle Royale Mode, Blackout is taking the world by storm by its open beta, It's
only just the beginning for Treyarch's upcoming title to their beloved multiplayer first person
shooter. It's the fifth entry of the Black Ops series and it's by far the most ambitious.
Removing its single player campaign, Black Ops 4 focuses more on the multiplayer features
with 3 massive modes including Zombies and Blackout. It comes out this October 12.
Soulcalibur VI
Bandai Namco rediscovers the glory of the 16th century in this sixth installment of
their weapon-based fighting game. A celebration of their 20th year anniversary, SoulCaliber
VI invites the big dogs into the mix, particularly the Witcher 3's grey haired casanova, Geralt
of Rivia. Revisit the classic Soulcalibar events, compete with other players in Online
mode, or cook up your own character in creation mode. An epic new chapter for the series,
it's set to release on October 19th.
Red Dead Redemption 2
Rockstar ups the ante with their open-world shenanigans in this sequel to their award-winning
Western single player game. Set years before the original Red Dead, follow Arthur Morgan
and lead his gang of scalawags to terrorize the great American Old West. With new and
improved visuals and better gunplay, it's a potential Game of the Year contender. It
comes out this 26th of October.
Hitman 2
Agent 47 is back and this time, he's making his entrance into an all new hyper-detailed
sandbox world. According to interviews, the developers are aiming for a more interactive
experience, with objects and environments playing bigger roles in the action. Everything
is a murder weapon if you're creative enough. Releasing all on the same date unlike previous
launches, they'll be on shelves by November 13th this year
BATTLEFIELD V
A new female character is taking the lead in this latest edition of EA's first-person
shooter. Returning to their roots with the heated battles of the second world war, V
aims to offer the best of both worlds. Dive into their short war stories of their singleplayer
campign, or partake in multiplayer shootouts in Grand Operations and Combined Arms. Showing
off maps big and small, we'll see them all once it releases on November 20th this year.
Darksiders III
Put on your mittens because THQ Nordic and Gunfire are determined to bring in the heat
with their third apocalyptic title. Set parallel to Death's misadventures in Darksiders II,
this new chapters lets us see through the eyes of their fiery new horseman, Fury. Whip
in hand, guide her through a broken Earth and earn the repentance of the Sins personified.
It's been a long wait but it's finally coming out on November 27th, 2018.
Just Cause 4
Sunny South America is about to experience some bad weather as Rico Rodriguez storms
in to hunt down the truth of his past. Succeed in the rebellion against the black hand, and
brave through tornadoes and tropical storms in your wingsuit. Enjoy the special in-game
physics and diverse biomes that will help you in your quest. Some rain and thunder just
might be the motivation you need. It's set to release this 4th of Dec 2018
Resident Evil 2: Remake
CAPCOM is gonna be on fire next year. This remake of CAPCOM's legendary Resident Evil
2 is built from the ground up using the latest RE Engine. Resident Evil 2 follows the story
of Leon and Claire as they make their escape from the dreaded T-Virus outbreak and the
many dangers of Raccoon City. What makes this entry stand out is its all-new perspective
on the beloved classic. Its new over-the-shoulder perspective gives players a chance to face
the terrors head on. It comes out this January 25, 2019.
Kingdom Hearts III
Trailer after trailer, we're getting closer to one of the most awaited game of 2019. Square
Enix's beloved RPG with a crossover of Final Fantasy and Disney will blow our mind. Featuring
an extensive collection of beautiful Disney worlds such as Tangled, Big Hero 6, and Frozen,

Days Gone
Set two years after the world is ravaged by a global pandemic. Days Gone enters the survival
horror race with Sony's signature graphical overhaul amidst overwhelming hordes of the
undead chasing after you. Not much has been revealed but the gameplay trailer shows us
that the tension is palpable. And it makes players feel their adrenaline kicking with
its hostile, expansive open-world. The game lets you take missions in your own hands similar
to The Last Of Us. Choose between stealth or firefights and feel the grip of the undead
coming after you. It comes out this 22nd of February, 2019.
Devil May Cry V
Here's some good old demon hack and slash in this "new world" set long after the
Order of the Sword incident. But our young devil hunter, Nero, still carries the same
appetite for some sword and gun action against the demons of the city. Equipped with his
new arm, the Devil Breaker, you can ride with Nero and Nico, and play for that sweet demon

Trump Orders Russia Documents DECLASSIFIED - Duration: 9:53.
Hi, welcome to America Uncovered.
I'm your host Chris Chappell.
There's been a major development in the ongoing investigation into Trump-Russia collusion
which President Trump has described as "THERE'S NO COLLUSION!"
Also, it's a "Rigged Witch Hunt".
Which sounds like a fun Halloween event for families of all ages.
The White House released this statement
saying "for reasons of transparency,"
President Trump has ordered the extensive declassification of several documents
related to the Russia Investigation.
Specifically, he's making public the following:
select pages of this FISA warrant application
that was used to spy on Trump campaign adviser Carter Page,
a series of FBI interviews with former Associate Deputy Attorney General Bruce Ohr,
plus a third set of documents of FBI interview reports
tied to the Page FISA applications.
And in addition to these three sets of documents
the President made the unexpected move
of asking the Department of Justice and the FBI
to release all text messages on the Russia Investigation
from a bunch of high level people.
They include former FBI director James Comey,
former FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe,
former lead FBI agent on the Russia investigation Peter Strzok,
and former FBI lawyer Lisa Page,
as well as Department of Justice official Bruce Ohr.
And who knows what we'll find in those text messages.
But I can tell you one thing:
I wouldn't want all my text messages made public.
Like that time I accidentally sent Shelley
that embarrassing picture of me
not wearing any suit.
Now as President, Trump does have the power
to declassify material he believes is in the public interest.
And since he has called the Russia investigation a hoax,
a deep state scam,
and, as you know, a rigged witch hunt
—apparently he's used that phrase 84 times this year alone—
the president does think releasing all this stuff is in the public interest.
At a minimum, it's in his own interest
because think about it:
if Trump is calling for more transparency,
it's pretty unlikely that the classified parts of these documents
would incriminate him in Russia collusion.
Trump clearly believes that if we, the public,
are allowed to see these documents in full,
we might also agree that it's all a "rigged witch hunt."
And Republicans in Congress praised the declassification,
saying that it would reveal "systemic corruption and bias"
within the Department of Justice and the FBI.
But Democrats have called it an "abuse of power"
and have said that Trump is interfering in an active investigation.
Yes, abuse of power.
That's how totalitarian fascist leaders do it:
Make government documents transparent and available for public scrutiny.
The Justice Department says it's complying with Trump's orders.
In a statement, it said the request from Trump triggers
"a declassification review process"
"to ensure the safety of America's national security interest."
So we don't know for sure when we'll actually be able to see
these declassified documents.
It could be days; it could be weeks.
But this is what we know.
The first thing Trump called to be declassified
is the June 2017 Carter Page FISA warrant application.
Pages 10-12 are about the Russian government's attempts
to influence the 2016 US Presidential elections.
And pages 17-34 are about former Trump campaign advisor Carter Page
supposedly working with Russian government officials to influence the election.
Here's why that's important.
House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes
has said these classified sections show that
when the DOJ and FBI approached the FISA court
for the wiretap warrant on Page,
they hid what's called exculpatory evidence.
"There is exculpatory evidence that we have seen
of classified documents that need to be declassified."
Basically that's evidence that would have cleared Carter Page from guilt.
And if the FBI and DOJ had not hidden it from the FISA court,
the FISA court would probably not have granted the wiretap warrant on Page.
Declassifying these documents could also show
"more evidence of circular reporting between the FBI and certain journalists."
Circular reporting in this case would mean
the FBI leaked the story to journalists,
who then wrote stories about it,
that the FBI then used to say,
Look!
Here's proof.
It's in the newspaper!
This has happened before.
For example, US vice president Dick Cheney's top aide
had leaked a false story to a New York Times reporter
that Iraq had illegal chemical and biological weapons,
and then a few hours after that was published,
Cheney went on Meet the Press
and quoted her story as evidence
that Iraq a had chemical and biological weapons.
Circular reporting: An oldie but a goodie.
The second thing Trump wants to declassify
are the interviews between the FBI and Bruce Ohr.
The FBI interviewed Ohr 12 times that we know about,
but it could have been more.
That's why the White House statements says,
"all FBI reports of interviews with Bruce G. Ohr."
The issue here is related to the original dossier
that alleged Trump-Russia collusion
sometimes called the Trump Dossier or the Steele Dossier.

The dossier was originally created
at the request of Trump's Republican opponents
during the primary elections,
and then picked up and paid for by the the Clinton campaign and the DNC.
It was written by former British spy Christopher Steele.
Steele had ongoing contact with Bruce Ohr,
who worked at the Department of Justice.
His wife Nellie Ohr worked for Fusion GPS,
the company that paid Steele for the dossier.
She had also once worked for the CIA.
According to a FISA memo that was declassified earlier this year,
Steele had been fired as an FBI source because he was leaking information to the media.
Since Bruce Ohr and Christopher Steele had a relationship,
it's possible he continued to pass on allegations from the Clinton-funded dossier to the FBI.
Also, in a closed door hearing in August,
Ohr revealed the FBI had doubts about the credibility of the dossier,
but hid that fact when it was using the dossier
to get a wiretapping warrant on Carter Page.
That's why the third set of documents being declassified
is the ones used for the Carter Page FISA application itself.
According to something called the Woods Procedures,
when the FBI submits evidence to get a wiretap,
that evidence is supposed to be backed up by probable cause,
not just based on a hunch.
Otherwise wiretaps could violate the privacy of innocent Americans.
And while it may be possible the FBI lied about probable cause,
the Woods Procedures also require the FBI to disclose,
"The existence and nature of any prior or ongoing asset relationship
between the subject and the FBI."
And Carter Page had worked with the FBI
in this case involving Russian spies.
And now finally, to President Trump's
surprise declassification of those text messages.
No, the other text messages.
Already there have been some anti-Trump text messages
made public between FBI agents Lisa Page and Peter Strzok.
They call Trump, among other things, an "idiot" and "loathsome human".
But more importantly, there was the infamous insurance policy text,
in case Trump won the election.
Now, besides all of Lisa Page and Peter Strzok's texts being fully declassified,
we'll be getting the declassified texts from Comey, McCabe, and Ohr.
Meanwhile, in another closed door hearing,
Lisa Page revealed that as of May 2017,
"After nine months of using some of the most
awesome surveillance powers afforded to U.S. intelligence,
the FBI still had not made a case connecting Trump
or his campaign to Russia's election meddling."
So what all this declassification may mean is this:
It could turn out that the FBI and DOJ were dishonest
about how strong a case they had about Russia collusion,
misled the FISA court so they could wiretap people close to Trump,
and leaked a barrage of media stories
to make the evidence of collusion seem stronger than it actually was,
and used that to justify launching the Mueller Special Counsel investigation.
And of it eventually turns out the Trump investigation
really was politically motivated and not based on evidence
—in other words, a "rigged witch hunt"—
it could spell the end of the special counsel investigation.
Also, the beginning a lot of 3am Tweets
from Donald Trump saying "I told you so."
But it's also possible that the documents won't show anything that clear-cut.
We won't know anything until the declassified documents are released.
And as I said, that could be mere days away,
or many weeks away.
But there's one thing I can guarantee.
We're going to hear a lot of spin.

Why Do Video Games Come Out on Tuesdays? - Duration: 6:48.

Books, DVDs, CDs also tend to be released on what the retailers call Super Tuesday.
But why is Tuesday the holy day for retailers?
Is it all down to a slick marketing campaign by Sega some twenty-odd years ago?
Or is it simply a question of logistics?
With trucks delivering on the previous Friday and stores having Monday to spend stocking
the shelves, Tuesday might be the logistical answer to the supply chain problem.
Or is it just a random day to release material?
And will this Tuesday release date continue to be the standard as more and more consumers
simply download their media entertainment rather than purchase in store.
Today on the Infographics Show we look at the history behind the video game release
strategy and find out just– Why Do Games Come Out on a Tuesday?
First of all let's take a look at the psychology behind marketing.
Consumer psychologists study the decision-making process, examine social persuasions, and generally
look at the motivations of shoppers.
In a consumerist world needs drive motivation to buy.
Psychologist Abraham Maslow constructed the hierarchy of need model, placing essential
needs such as food and shelter at the bottom of the pyramid.
higher up on the pyramid, and less essential, are entertainment media such as films, art,
music, books, and video games.
The trick is for marketers to position their products so that they appear to be needed
rather than just wanted.
To gain a shopper's attention tactics must be employed to make them stop, watch and listen.
Once their attention has been gained then the product must be placed in a position superior
to other competing products.
It also helps if markers install in the shopper's mind a ticking clock.
If the buyer knows exactly when the product will be released then they are in a position
to prepare to either buy or pass for another product.
Also humans tend to use herd-like behavior when consuming.
If a big enough buzz can be achieved surrounding a certain product then a race to the stores
can be part of the consumer's positive buying experience.
So how does this relate to the games and Tuesday release date?
Well, let's travel back in time some 20-odd years.
The original Sonic the Hedgehog was an instant hit when it arrived in 1991.
This was good news for Sega who were competing with Nintendo.
Nintendo was the company behind revolutionizing the home games console market, but Sega wasn't
far behind with their little blue hedgehog pushing the line forward.
Sega had the 16-bit console on the market before the equally powerful Super Nintendo
hit the shelves.
In addition Sega also had a great concept to hype up the release of the sequel to Sonic.
Sega marketing director Al Nilsen describes the launch plan, "We're going to start
in Japan, move to Europe, and then end in the US.
No trucks, no boats; everything will be delivered by plane exactly one day before.
We're going to have the world's first global launch, and in the process we're
going to break every single sales record."
While deciding the timing of their new mega launch the team stumbled on a great idea.
"It should be Tuesday, and we'll call it Sonic 2sday," Nilsen said.
So it was that on Tuesday 24th November Sonic 2 was launched.
Before that day in history games were released on random dates and days of the week, but
the rest of the game market followed.
This is Blake Harris's explanation of the Tuesday release date as illustrated in his
book "Consoles Wars: Sega, Nintendo, and the battle that Defined a Generation."
This seems to be a good solid explanation for the Tuesday release date and is line with
what we already know about marketing.
When consumers know that a certain product will be released on a certain day of the week
it allows them to ring their calendar, organize purchasing funds, and makes that day more
special.
But more importantly it builds a sense of anticipation.
The same method is used with the movie industry.
Films generally show for the first time on a Friday with audiences rushing to the theaters
for the opening weekend.
Being at the end of the working week that makes perfect sense as many people are paid
and most have the next Saturday off.
So why don't games follow the same release date?
Well, in the UK they do with most games being released on a Friday.
Another theory for the Tuesday release date in the USA is that producers were noticing
slow first week sales if games were released later in the week as stores would take time
to fill the shelves.
Tuesday seemed like a good idea as it gave staff time during the week to stock the shelves
and weekend staff aren't required to ready a new game for a Monday release.
Nowadays one of the biggest reasons why media including games, DVDs, books, and CDs are
released on a Tuesday is down to Soundscan sales data.
This database measures the number of weekly sales across retailer networks and they use
Tuesday to Tuesday as their time frame measurement, so releasing on any other day means the retailer
loses a day of sales figures on that all important first week.
Another explanation is that a Tuesday release date gives the producers four days in the
week to fix any bugs or technical problems that come to light after the release.
With print media such as books Tuesday is also the holy day of the week.
Also movies (DVDs) are released on the day retailers call Super Tuesday.
The big retailers such as Wal-Mart and Target etc have been known to try and gain a competitive
advantage over the independent stores by putting out the product ahead of the agreed street
date.
But generally if you want to purchase a new type of entertainment media Tuesday is the
day to do it.
Interestingly our purchase habits with games and software has changed dramatically.
In 2009 20% of games were digitally downloaded with 80% bought physically in store.
In 2017 these figures almost did a complete reversal as 79% of games were downloaded and
21% were bought physically.
This statistics by Digital Game User show that 118 million people downloaded games in
2017.
So it remains to be seen if the Tuesday release date is to be continued as consumers tend
to prefer the instant gratification of a fast, fluid download rather than waiting for a specific
day of the week.

or Margaret Cho, or Sandra Oh.

If they get rid of Sheryl Underwood,
you don't have to call up another Black person.
You call up a qualified person.
Besides, Eve has got it locked down for the Blacks.

The Truth About Jeremy and Audrey Roloff's Marriage - Duration: 4:42.
The cast of Little People, Big World has grown a lot since its 2006 debut.
And the family continued to expand as Jeremy Roloff and his wife Audrey welcomed their
daughter, Ember, in 2017.
Not only did they appear on the reality series together, they also built a company rooted
in their Christian faith.
And in July 2018, the pair surprised fans when they announced they were officially stepping
away from the show.
So what's the real secret to their wedded bliss?
Here's what you don't know about Jeremy and Audrey Roloff's marriage.
No love at first sight
They can't stop making googly eyes at each other now, but things weren't always so lovey-dovey
for these two.
The duo met in 2010 on an awkward blind date, with Audrey remembering,
"I thought he was cute when he walked through the door, but I wasn't, like, seeing the future
in that moment."
And according to Jeremy, the feeling was mutual.
When Audrey arrived in sweaty workout gear, he admitted,
"Contrary to what many believe, it was not love at first sight, necessarily."
They started off as friends before embarking on a two-year, long-distance relationship.
Audrey blogged,
"Jeremy pursued me faithfully and diligently for two years before we started dating.
[…] I was stubborn."
Just their type
Jeremy took the sentimental route when he asked for Audrey's hand in marriage in March
2014.
He took her back to the same spot where she agreed to be his girlfriend, and incorporated
a typewriter into the proposal, telling TLC,
"She is a big writer and loves to journal, gets lots of energy from personal, intimate
time and loves when I surprise her.
[…] We sat down and started typing."
"I am nervous, a ball of emotions and anxiousness and excitement, with a ring in my pocket."
They took turns typing their hearts out, and when it was Jeremy's turn, he prepared for
his big moment, remembering,
"I was asking this girl to be mine for the rest of our lives.
Asking her to accept me as Jeremy Roloff and walk with me through life's greatest peaks
and lowest valleys."
"Will you marry me?"
"Yeah.
Stop Jer."
Lucky for Jer, she said yes.
"I'm like, what this is happening, like.
Oh my gosh."
Making it official
The couple was racing against the clock to plan their 2014 nuptials.
Audrey wrote,
"We had to make it happen before summer turned to fall, or it would have been a 'plan B'
day."
And distance made their fast-paced planning even more complicated.
Andrey revealed to The Knot,
"We planned our wedding while living in different states, but it turned out to be everything
we ever dreamed that it would be — and more."
With some help from her mom and a wedding planner, the day went off without a hitch.
The bride remembered,
"...my wedding dress was used […] and my venue was my fiancés backyard […] so this
helped expedite the process."
Joining the covenant club
The couple has founded Beating 50 Percent, an organization that promotes covenant marriages,
which involve premarital counseling and also frames divorce as less of an option.
Basically, it means these two are in it for life.
Audrey blogged,
"My husband and I crave that kind of marriage, and we deeply desire to do and be the things
that will attain it.
Therefore, we've established a simple rhythm that continues to save and grow our marriage."
"Beating 50 percent is about having better than average marriages, and giving more than
50 percent effort to your spouse."
With that, they hope couples find deeper, richer marriages that last a lifetime.
A day to unplug
When asked to share advice for business owners whose professional and personal lives overlap,
Audrey told The School of Styling that she and Jeremy were still working out the kinks
but were aiming for more balance in their lives.
One goal was to take a Sabbath, or day of rest, once a week.
She said,
"So far we have failed to do this many weeks, but the weeks that we have prioritized setting
aside a day to rest have been vital."
Their rest day involves no work, errands, emails, social media, or checking the news.
She continued,
"… we turn off our phones, shut off our computers and praise God for what we have,
for life itself, and spend time with each other, our community, and the Lord, undistracted
by the demands of this world."
Perhaps stepping away from their roles on Little People Big World will make it easier
for the young couple to meet their goals.
But if you're already stressing about missing out on what's next for Jeremy and Audrey,
they assure their Instagram followers that they have lots of "exciting stuff" in the
works.

Today I'm gonna go through with you suspension training.
Suspension training is a great bit of equipment
if you're a beginner or you're advanced.
I'm gonna talk you through
a squat using suspension training.
Key tips is to always keep tension
on the suspension trainer.
Don't let it go loose at any time.
Make sure it always has tension throughout the workout.
When you're doing the squat,
make sure you're pushing your bum out
and you're pushing through your heels.
My recommendation is 12 reps and four sets.

In this video I'm going to list a number of the key Bangkok tourist traps and give you
suggestions for alternatives should you want to give them a miss!
Let's get started.
First off, I want to make it clear that all of the Bangkok tourist traps are interesting
in their own way.
That said, there are many people out there, myself included, who want to try and avoid
tourist traps if possible!
I'm of the opinion that you should try most things once.
However, in the cases below there really are solid alternatives that have just as much
value and are off the tourist trail.
Bangkok Tourist Traps #1.
Khaosan Road
Khaosan Road has been a must-visit backpacker destination for literally decades.
As an aside, the euphemistically named 'Khaosan Palace' is where I spent my first few nights
in Bangkok 19 years ago.
You'll see backpackers lugging massive rucksacks up and down the road literally 24/7.
While Khaosan Road can be a great place to meet other travelers, and party, it's way
commercialized.
The place is nothing like it used to be.
Now you'll find Starbucks, Boots, convenience stores and chain bars and restaurants.
To make matters worse, the government has even made moves to try and remove street vendors
from the pavements of Khaosan Road!
If the place had any charm, this was one of the primary reasons.
Ultimately, with the Internet, and a general improvement in English language skills amongst
the Thai, it's debatable whether there's a need for Khaosan Road any more.
If I was you, I'd seriously consider heading to one of the trendy areas of Bangkok such
as Ekkamai or Thonglor.
Here you'll be able to rub shoulders with the locals instead.
My guess is that you'll have a much better time as the locals around Khaosan Road are
nowhere near as friendly as they used to be.
Frankly, these days I go to great lengths to avoid Khaosan Road!
Note.
If you Google 'Hostel Thonglor' you'll find plenty of really cheap places to stay.
Bangkok Tourist Traps #2.
The Grand Palace
The Grand Palace is a beautiful place.
It really is.
The problem is that it's now overrun with hoards of Chinese tour groups.
No exaggeration, when I went there last year there were literally thousands of Chinese
and more tour buses than I could count.
The beauty of a place like The Grand Palace is hard to take in if you're constantly being
elbowed and shoved at every turn.
There's also the issue of having to pay a THB500, or around $15, entry fee.
While one ticket also includes entry to the Vimanmek Palace (this is the 'Teak Wood Palace') and Abhisek Dusit Throne Hall,
THB500 per person is a bit much if you're traveling as a family, or a large group.
If I was you, I'd seriously consider visiting some of Bangkok's other amazing temples.
Most of which are free, and a damn sight more peaceful.

Bangkok Tourist Traps #3.
Chatuchak Market
Chatuchak market is the biggest open-air market in Thailand.
For that matter, it's got to be one of the biggest open-air markets in the world.
To me, this fact is a negative as much as a positive.
Fully exploring the market is a mission.
A major mission!
You'll get lost.
Trust me.
If you're lost in the heat of the day your experience will really suck.
When anyone asks me to go to Chatuchak Market in hot season, it'll be a very short conversation!
If I was you, I'd head to the Rot Fai Market (or Train Market) in Srinakarin, Bangkok.
This is an authentic open-air bazaar which sells an incredible array of vintage collectibles
and memorabilia from yesteryear.
Where else in Thailand can you find a pristine 1950s Cadillac next to vintage leather jackets,
French chandeliers and 1960s action figures from Japan?
Combine all this with cool restaurants, bars, and snack stalls and you have a fun night
out from sunset to midnight, Thursday through to Sunday!
Note.
There are three sections to the Rot Fai Market.
Section #1.
Market Zone.
Here you'll find everyday products like shoes, in trend fashion, children's toys and homeware.
Section #2.
Warehouse Zone.
Here you'll find everything from household goods, old electronic appliances and used
auto parts to second-hand clothes, shoes, and fashion accessories - all vintage in style,
of course.
Note.
It's not uncommon to see hobbyist items such as old cameras, bikes, Coca-Cola collectibles
and Japanese anime toys on sale as well.
Section #3.
Rod's Antiques.
Here you'll find a treasure trove of antiques and vintage items including classic cars,
motorbikes, antique and kitsch furniture, and even a life-size Elvis mannequin.
Bangkok Tourist Traps #4.
Ping pong shows in Patpong
If you're invited to an upstairs bar in Patpong to see a 'free' ping pong show, just don't.
What'll inevitably happen is that you won't be allowed to leave until you pay a massively
inflated bill for drinks.
The prices of which are nothing like was promised downstairs by the tout.
If you want to see some shows, head to Soi Cowboy instead.
The shows at Soi Cowboy bars aren't nearly as 'colorful' as they used to be, but they'll
almost certainly be far more extreme than anything you'll see at home!
Several Nana Plaza bars also have shows, but these days it seems that Nana Plaza is getting
overrun with ladyboy boys.
Note.
Sometimes there can be long wait times between acts.
I'd check out the following bars if you're looking for a great time!
Number 1.
Baccara at Soi Cowboy. Number 2.
Cowboy 2 at Soi Cowboy. Number 3.
Crazy House at Soi Cowboy. Number 4.
Tilac at Soi Cowboy. Number 5.
Rainbow 4 at Nana Plaza. And number 6.
Shark at Soi Cowboy.
Soi Cowboy is where many expats head to party.
Bangkok Tourist Traps #5.
Sky Bar
I really do love this place.
That said, since appearing in The Hangover Part II, Sky Bar is now one of the most popular
attractions in Bangkok with tourists.
Frankly, who can blame them!
Enjoying a cocktail on the 64th floor with some of the best views in all of Bangkok takes
some beating.
The problem is, however, that you'll be sharing the view with hundreds of other people who
all had the same idea.
It is hard to enjoy the experience when you're literally shoulder-to-shoulder and finding
it impossible to get the right picture for social media.
Bangkok has plenty of rooftop bars with amazing views - most of which are far cheaper than
the Sky Bar too.

Bangkok Tourist Traps #6.
Wat Pho
Like the Grand Palace, Wat Pho also suffers from massive overcrowding which really ruins
the experience.
If you want to check out a giant Buddha statue, don't despair!
There's an alternative that most tourists miss; the solid gold Buddha statue at Wat
Traimit.
This is the largest gold Buddha in the world weighing in at hefty a 5.5 tons.
One other thing; entrance to Wat Traimit is free!
Bangkok Tourist Traps #7.
Tailors and gem shops
Regarding gem shops, just don't.
You will get ripped off unless you really know what you're buying.
Even experts get ripped off in Bangkok gem shops, so to reiterate, just don't!
Regarding tailors, this is also a mine-field.
While some Bangkok tailors are legit, none of the legit shops are particularly cheap!
The most common scam is to produce your order in much lower quality fabric than you chose.
Note.
Most of the cheap tailors all have their goods produced in the same factory so the quality
won't differ much between them.
For what it's worth, I rate 'Roberto Reggio' next to Nana BTS station.
The shop is owned by a Sikh chap called Bobby, and I have been using his services for nearly
17 years now.
All the friends that I have introduced to his shop were pleased with what they got.
And his prices!
Bangkok Tourist Traps #8.
'Tourism Authority of Thailand' (or TAT) shops
The Tourism Authority of Thailand (or TAT) is a governmental organization that has no
retail stores.
However, you'll come across many touts encouraging tourists to get cheap travel or attraction
tickets through their suggested TAT 'approved' shops.
These shops are all bogus, and the tickets you'll buy will either be counterfeit, not
as advertised or most likely much more expensive than elsewhere.
If I was you, I would walk away from these shops.
I'd run.
A final piece of advice
The tourist trap that most new visitors fall into is the first one they'll likely visit.
Suvarnabhumi Airport.
Whatever you do, don't go to one of the counters inside the airport to arrange transport to
your hotel.
Go outside to the taxi rank on level 1 where you'll pay the metered fare plus a small additional
fee.
Note.
Tolls and expressways fees are not included in the metered fare.
Also, there are large 6-seater taxis available for families who have lots of luggage.
One other thing; if I was you I wouldn't arrange hotels or tours within Suvarnabhumi Airport
either.
You'll almost certainly get ripped off.
The only thing that I would do in the airport is buy a sim card and possibly change some
money.

all right we are heading up to the Sand
Dunes decided to stop for a little bit
and just enjoy some of the views around
here like this
all right we were gonna camp into the
high sand dunes now we're gonna go up
this mountainside all right so first off
I don't know how the audio is gonna
sound right now because my mic is in the
back but I just wanted to take a second
I don't know exactly where we're at we
were driving to the high sand dunes in
Colorado then we saw this dirt road and
a couple signs so we pulled off and then
we saw a place to camp for free last
night we ended up camping at about just
over 10,000 feet right now you can see
the woods behind me here I'll have to
show you some pictures once we get up
higher of where we came from we're
hiking up this path to a Upper Lake and
this upper lake is surrounded by a
couple 14,000 foot mountains hopefully
it's not too cloudy still up there and
right there we're hiking right up into
the clouds
all right I don't know if you could see
there's a faint dirt road right over
there and that's where we came in at
hiked all the way up and we're still
going out been hiking a little bit it's
about 40 degrees up here and my back was
sweating so bad but the Sun came out and
I'm just soaking up some Sun resting a
little bit and we're gonna head off here
shortly can't really see right now
because front came in we made it to the
top we did it this guy is a beast like
seriously those were the hardest trails
and this guy killed it good job yeah
yeah about ten feet every oh man but
yeah it's been awesome this has been a
great trip so far all the clouds have
cleared so let me get over here here's
the mountain it was just snowing down
here about 40 minutes ago it was 60
degrees up here sun shining now the
temperatures dropping it's below 40 and
the snows coming in so we're gonna hike
back down to our camp which was that
about a little over 10,000 feet I think
right now we're at 12,000 feet at the
lake the elevation was like 800 feet per
mile so we're gonna head back down
hopefully we'll make to the sand dunes
and catch some sunset but right now
we're up in a cloud and snow and
see you later
good morning so we made it to the Great
Sand Dunes and look at this snow-capped
mountains it's a little cold this
morning but right now we're hiking into
the sand dunes the other guys are back
there just because I'm the oldest and I
got to get a little bit of a head start
kiss altitude up here my lungs it's just
hard for me to breathe so I'll take
advantage of any opportunity I can't
hear is the sand dunes with the mountain
the over here behind me man this is just
beautiful right now we're hoping these
storm clouds are gonna pass I got my
rain gear just in case all right I'll
see in a little bit this is the part
where my microphone stopped working I'm
pretty sure it was something so profound
that it would make Gandhi cry this image
here gives you perspective of how
massive the Great Sand Dunes are each
one of these little dots is a person
hike so right there you're looking at a
couple of miles
all right just got back from climbing
sand dunes and going in probably about
three or four miles been a long long day
