Support and Resistance

Support and Resistance lines are used by Technical Analysts to determine which direction the

price of an asset will take and to trade accordingly.

A support line is the level on which a falling trend is more likely to bounce back up.

While a resistance line is the level on which a rising trend is more likely to bounce back down.

If a support or a resistance line breaks, the price is expected to keep moving until

it meets another support or resistance line.

In any case, it is unlikely for the price to remain near resistance or support levels,

it is either going to break through the lines, or bounce back inside the channel, which explains

why entering and exiting positions near support and resistance levels is common.

Support and Resistance lines are psychological levels, which means that they do not really exist,

they are rather determined and drawn by traders according to how they believe them to exist.

'Istanbul Challenge' Tests The Limits of Our City Generator - Duration: 4:01.

Hello, everybody, and welcome to the Eight Hour Challenge.

As some of you might know, we developed a special tool that can make open world environments

really fast.

With this tool, we don't have to spend months and months, manually placing every generic

object on the map.

Instead, we decide what type of buildings we want to see on each street, and our software

will generate them in real time.

We have been using this tool to develop our game The Sinking City, but now we want to

test its limits.

And to do it, we want to recreate a district of a real city.

In accordance with our community's choice, we will go with Istanbul.

We are gonna do this challenge in just 8 hours, one work day.

The tricky part is, we don't actually have the right architecture for this city, but

we are eager to try nonetheless.

Because it's one thing to recreate the streets, it's

another thing to recreate the spirit of the place. How we feel inside it.

So, ideally, we should be able to walk inside the street and feel like there.

It's challenging, not sure we will succeed in 8 hours, not sure the tool really allows

that, but it's worth the test.

Okay, let's begin.

First, we want to select a small area in the city, and see how it goes.

First, I extract the texture from Google Maps

for my convenience so to say, and put it inside Unreal Engine,

and adjust it so the size of our roads matches the size of the roads on the texture.

Next step.

We start to build the city grid.

We want it to look like our selected area.

And thankfully our tool allows us to do exactly that.

Then I start to play with the width of the streets, I look at the main streets,

how wide or narrow they are.

Then I need to consider landscape and terrain,

and with the help of our tools we can easily recreate all the slopes.

Once we've done all that, our tool should take care of the rest.

Katya assigns different types of architecture to each street.

For example, she wants a specific set of buildings here, so she selects the right options,

and bam! The city is generated.

Of course, right now we can only use the buildings we had prepared for The Sinking City, but

you can potentially create your own assets and put them inside the editor.

Our City Generator has quite a toolbox, but most of them

were created specifically for quick generic construction work.

Here comes the best part.

The initial area was done in just a couple hours.

Katya decided to keep going, and ended up doing a much bigger area.

The whole process took around 6 hours.

Technically, we still have time, but we believe the results are already clear.

When it comes to urbanism, the city grid is quite similar.

Our tool does around 70% of the work overall.

So, what do we have in the end?

If you are capable of creating your own models, you can easily make any cities of any size

in days, instead of months.

What's even better, you can dynamically modify your map after it was generated, and

then turn it into a playable area.

And yes, we are planning to release this tool after The Sinking City is out, but we are

still thinking about the right format.

If we want to give the tools, we need to know how practicle they are

for the audience.

And therefore, if they start to use it, it's not like a nightmare to use,

and they can really get a result pretty fast

As The Athletic's Sam Amick revealed, the Philadelphia 76ers are "completely out" of talks due to the asking price.

How to Zoom in and Zoom out Presentations - Duration: 3:28.

Hello everyone!

Today, we'll get to know how to use the Zoom-n-Pan feature

to zoom in and zoom out a specific part of the content.

In general, you use a zoom-n-pan object to zoom in, then use another one to zoom out.

To insert a zoom-n-pan object,

open the Annotations tab and click Zoom-n-Pan.

This is the zoom-n-pan object that you can drag and place anywhere on the Canvas.

If you want to have a more precise position of the effect on the slide,

change the value from this section of the Properties pane.

Here are the positions of the zoom rectangle from the left

and top side of the slide.

This box is to change the zoom area size.

The bigger value you set, the smaller zoom region you make.

Alternatively, you can hover the mouse over one of the four green handles

until the mouse turns into a two-headed arrow and drag the handle to change the zoom scale.

Now, take a look at the object time bar in the Timeline pane,

the zoom effect will start to zoom in at the start point of the object

and end at the green diamond.

The light blue area inside the object Time Bar indicates the effect timing.

To change the start time, drag the object time bar to the left or right.

Or, you can change the value in the Start Time box.

Besides, this box is to change the effect duration.

By default, the duration of the zoom-n-pan effect is one second.

You can change it to any other values.

However, it shouldn't be too short or too long.

One to three seconds are good to go

since a smooth and unhurried effect is better for viewers to follow.

You can also drag the green diamond

or the start point of the time bar to the left or right to change the effect timing.

Let's preview the effect.

When the presentation is playing, you can let it zoom in different parts of the screen continuously.

To do that, insert the second zoom-n-pan object in the slide

and place it where you want to zoom in next.

Then, change its start time, duration, and scale as explained before.

When the slide is displayed, you will see the effect like watching a camera show the entire screen,

then zoom in and pan simultaneously sideways to a smaller part.

Next, the camera will gradually move to the other part of the screen.

The zoom-n-pan object has a one-way effect.

When it ends, it does not restore the zoom back to normal.

This means the project will keep displaying while zooming at a small part of the slide.

You have to insert another zoom-n-pan object to zoom back to normal view.

To do that, select the timestamp that you want to zoom back,

then insert a zoom-n-pan object.

Resize the zoom rectangle to cover the entire slide.

Alternatively, you can enter 100 in the Zoom Scale box.

The presentation will start to go back to the normal view when it reaches this zoom-n-pan object.

To delete the Zoom-n-Pan effect, just select the object

and press the DELETE key on your keyboard.

Now, this sound is recognized in the cartoon when Masha climbs into Bear's bookcase.
