Art Workspace // Desk Tour + Organisation Tips · semiskimmedmin - Duration: 4:37.

Before we start, just wanna say stay tuned for info on my 100k giveaway later on in this

video.

Now, if you'd like to see how my workspace is integrated with the rest of my room, you

can check out my recent room tour.

Today's video is a follow-on from that to show you a more in-depth look at my desk along

with 5 tips to create a productive and inspirational and peaceful space for yourself.

So we'll start with the desk itself and my very first tip.

STREAMLINE

My desk stays relatively clear, with most of the clutter out of view.

Ideally it's great to have a workspace that looks out of a window or even out at the room

rather than facing a wall, because it encourages a feeling of space, perfect for opening your

mind to any ideas that might be stifled in your head.

If that's not do-able, it's always nice to at least have a pretty wall to look at.

The main thing is to keep your line of sight clear of too much clutter.

Which is why my first key to keeping an organised space is to be ruthless with what you need

and what you don't.

It's a lot easier to organise without surplus things to find places for.

Have a clear-out and keep only the things that have value to you.

Tip two, with the things you've kept, it's time to ask yourself if you should PUT IT

AWAY OR DISPLAY.

This one's all about personal preference.

Along my tabletop are just a few things that give my workspace a bit of character, and

also can serve a purpose, whether that be reference or inspiration.

And some things are just too cute or too sentimental to hide away.

Be honest with yourself about what you want around, what decor items are getting a bit

stagnant and what can go in a box in the loft until you miss it.

And remember, not everyone has to adhere to the minimalist look, or whatever else looks

great on instagram, if you find you flourish amongst your trinkets and a creative playground

of organised chaos, then embrace the scrap papers and paint splatters and do you.

You'll have noticed we've moved on now to the shelves that flank either side of my

desk.

That's major key number three.

SHELVES

are your friends.

A shelving unit can come as cheap as this one from ikea, or you can come up with your

own solutions.

These shoe racks stacked on top of each other work great, this bathroom unit cut in two

makes a great few surfaces for storage and the additional benefit of table-top support.

Planks of wood on the street, left over floorboards can all come in handy too.

You can never have too many shelves.

Try a few configurations for stacking and organising books or papers, you can try to

keep them all level for that extra polished look.

That's one way to have your shelves looking easy on the eye, rather than a cluttered mess,

but the easiest solution is;

CONTAINERS

All it takes are a few boxes to take your shelving from chaos to calm.

This is another situation where you can use whatever you have to hand.

I keep smaller containers within larger boxes to separate things into easily accessible

categories.

Which leads to the next tip;

EASY ACCESS

one of the keys to keeping a neat space is to make sure everything has a place.

And you're much more likely to put things away if that place is easy to reach.

My most commonly used items are always within reach without having to even get up from my

desk.

That way, they're just as easy to pop back where they belong when I'm done with them,

meaning there's never an excuse to leave things lying around.

And for one final bonus tip, you'd be surprised what a difference a good chair can make.

You can get them surprisingly cheap from places like amazon, like I did with this one, and

give an extra bit of luxury with a nice throw or blanket.

WHEN SHOULD YOU SEE A DIETITIAN? - Duration: 7:52.

Hi everyone welcome back to my tannel... blah blah, tannel that's not a word.

Hi everyone, my name is Kim I am a registered

dietitian; Welcome to my channel. So today

we'll be talking about when is it time,

how do you know it is time, for you to

see a dietitian? So this can definitely

be a very tricky question. So there are

two reasons why I am making this video.

The first reason is, is because a lot of

you have been emailing me and asking me

questions about your personal health and

it is very, very hard to answer those

questions so that's why I always defer

you to go to your primary care provider

and see a dietitian. Someone is able to

look at your labs, look at your history

and physical and fully assess you and

give you counseling and advise from that

point. The second reason why I'm making

this video is because seeing I am a

clinical dietitian, I do work in an

inpatient setting and I also do see

outpatients. So I just wanted to share

with you from my personal experience the

times when individuals do come to me. The

information that I am share with you

today is my personal opinion; other

dietitians out there may not agree with

me other primary care providers may not

agree with me so everything in this

video is reflective on my own personal

belief. So the first reason why I think

individuals should see dietitians is

related to weight management. So it can

be anything from weight gain to weight

loss. So individuals which MAY need to

see a dietitian for weight gain are

individuals which do suffer from an

eating disorder. Now with seeing a

dietitian for weight gain for

individuals which do have eating

disorders there are specific types of

dietitians. Not all dietitians are

well-versed in handling

individuals that you have eating

disorders because of course you know

there is a whole entire psychological

component that goes along with it. So an

experienced dietitian is the way to go.

As well for individuals which want to

lose weight there's some dietitians

which do have certifications in weight

management and this weight loss could be

something as non-invasive as dieting and

exercising to something a little more

invasive such as gastric bypass surgery.

Dietitians can help individuals lose or

gain weight or even if you're an

individual out there and you've been

doing everything right you're exercising,

your dieting and you're still not losing

weight or you're still not gaining weight a

dietitian can help in that aspect as

well. The second reason an individual

wants to see a dietitian is if you have

a new diagnosis and the diagnoses that

I'm focusing on is diabetes,

hyperlipidemia or hypertension. Those

three seem to be the big boys. Something

I didn't want to say it is very tempting

if you're diagnosed with a new disease

to go on the internet, to go on the world

wide web and research some things on

your own and then put it into play in

your personal life. The world wide web

does have some credible websites and they

do have some websites that are not

really scientifically, evidenced-based. So

the world wide web is not your personal

dietitian so that is another reason to

sit down and see a dietitian if you are

diagnosed with a new disease state. Another reason an

individual one to see a dietitian is for

GI gastrointestinal issues.

And this can range from anything related to

constipation to celiac disease and

everything right in between

there. A lot of individuals do have

some stomach upset and I'll tell you the

truth, stomach upset is not something

pretty! It can definitely alter your

social life. Seeing a dietitian to find

out what foods can help you manage your

bowel disease a little bit better is

worthwhile. So the fourth reason why you

need to see a dietitian or someone would

want to see a dietitian is if you have

any food intolerances or food allergies.

Knowing what foods you can and can't eat

if you have any type of food

sensitivities is a reason why you

want to see a dietician. A dietitian

will be able to equip you with the

necessary skills that you do need in

order to decipher "is this something that

is safe to eat if I do go to this party

or is this something safe to eat if I do

go out to this restaurant?", so knowing

what your options are a dietitian can

definitely fill you in on all of that.

The fifth reason and I think this is the

most unknown reason why someone would

want to see a dietitian is just really

to check up on your general health. A lot

of people don't realize that they can

visit a dietitian just to make sure that

they're eating properly. So for

individuals just like you or I who want

to know you know "Am I getting the

adequate intake of the different

vitamins as well as different minerals?"

that's one you would want to see a

dietitian. A dietitian is able to break

down the nutrients in your food and

assess it, compare to the recommended

daily allowances to see if you're

getting the proper amount of food. I wanted to say

that this list that I gave you is not

exhaustive because individuals that are

pregnant or trying to get pregnant,

individuals that may be training for the

Olympics or training for some type of

sport may need dietitian intervention

as well. Individuals that have cancer can

see dietitians as well. People that have

tube feedings may need to see dietitians

as well. So there's a multitude of

different reasons why individuals can

see a dietitian. So let me say when seeing

a dietitian one-on-one it can get a

little pricey I'm not even gonna lie.

Some insurance companies depending on

what type of insurance you have can

cover you for treatment. As well there's

some dietitians who are in private

practice that do take cash payment so

when you guys are looking to see

what dietitian I do want to see first

call your insurance companies and see

will they pay for you to see a

dietitian. I wanted to tell you

dietitians they're very underutilized

but, they are an integral part of your

overall health. Some dietitians are more

experienced than others in certain

realms like for instance, I would say I

have no idea where I would start in the

realm of being a sports dietitian or a

community dietitian that is something

that I do not practice on a daily basis

but, when it deals with the clinical...(I GOT YOU). So

guys this was just another video to

encourage you to see a dietitian I'm

going to place a few links in my

comments section below on how to find a

seem and makeup theories that this is

the call of duty world war two boxer I

mean seems legit you know the world war

two it seems like I has the same colors

seems like it's in the right position

and it seems like it's actually saying

ww and the Roman numerals too but see

the thing is and just like I mean it's

kind of unlike not believable first of

all I mean look at the trashcan why's it

next to a trashcan and the person that

even posted this said that so the user

actually said that this was a picture

inside of activision HQ itself now this

sounds crazy to me again i'm not sure if

this is fake or real i'm not saying it's

fake I'm not saying it's real tell me

what you guys think in the comments do

really crazy like why would somebody in

very blurry I mean it could be a whole

actually very crazy if you think about

it there's always a like out and not the

protagonist but there's always a

character that you can clearly see on

the box or so honor this could be real

but obviously you're just too good to be

true in my opinion and this is most

likely fake we have the blurry 1 i'm not

sure tell me what you guys think about

that is my theory i think that's how

it's going to work that's why i think

Nepalese Food - Our best meal in Pokhara eating fish in Nepal - Duration: 11:29.

Well good afternoon from Pokhara (पोखरा).

Pokhara (पोखरा).

Apparently, that is how it is pronounced.

Not Pokhara.

Not Pokhara.

We've been saying it wrong for a few days but I finally googled it and it is Poker-Ah.

Pokhara.

Pokhara (पोखरा).

I'm sure we're still saying it wrong.

That is what we're going with.

And today we're going to be having some Nepali food.

We're at one of our favorite restaurants.

It is called Olive Cafe and their menu says something like European style with Nepali

flavor or something like that.

So we've specifically ordered their local specialties.

And my goodness traffic is just chaotic.

It sounds like there is a celebration.

Oh, let's check this out.

We'll zoom in to it.

Oh, it is blurry.

Come on focus.

Alright.

That looked like cricket.

Cricket bats whatever you call those.

You know what maybe the team that won is celebrating on the way home.

Maybe.

They won an important cricket match.

Yeah.

Anyways, the food should be here soon.

We've ordered a lot of different things to show you guys what the food is like here in

Nepal (नेपाल).

And it should be tasty.

Yeah!

So here is my fancy drink.

Mint lemonade.

And for the hubby.

And my not so fancy drink I'm just going for the local brewsky.

The local beer.

Everest.

So I've got Everest.

I've had this a few times now it is a nice refreshing beer.

Yeah.

Mmmm.

Do you feel like it gives you the strength to tackle Everest.

Oh yeah.

It is like the spinach for Popeye right?

You drink Everest beer and suddenly you have the ability to climb Everest.

Amazing.

That is exactly how it works.

Or at the very least Everest Base Camp.

The food is here and it looks amazing.

Check it out.

I'm having something called Chhwelā (छ्वेला).

And this is fish from the local lake.

It is marinated in secret spices.

That is what it says in the menu.

They won't even tell you what is in it.

I love that.

And it is barbecue.

That is the best.

In the tandoor oven according to the menu so I didn't even see this being prepared.

But it looks so good.

If you look at that pieces of fish like they're so plump and oh my gosh this just looks fresh.

Anyways, I'm going to try some of this already.

It looks so good.

Man, it looks like there is some tomatoes in there and maybe cilantro.

I chose well.

The fish it is so soft.

It melts in your mouth.

I just had some kind of insect bite my elbow.

Oh my gosh.

The mosquitos want the fish.

Hahaha.

This is so nice.

That is cilantro.

Little chunks of tomato.

Let me zoom in on that.

It looks like a little bit of a yellow curry.

Oh wow.

Man, you can see that so well now.

It is good.

And if you have a look at the plate here we've got some bread.

This looks like a chapati instead of a naan.

It is not quite as fluffy.

It is a little more flat.

Yeah, it is definitely not naan.

So I would compare it to pita bread if you're not familiar with chapatis.

That stupid is biting my elbow again.

Oh my gosh Sam.

I must have a really tasty elbow because it is the only place that it is going for.

Anyways, I'm using the chapati to get some of the fish.

This looks so good.

Yummy yummy yumma?

Oh yeah.

Oh, and vegetables.

Oh my gosh.

We get some carrots.

Let's not forget the carrots.

On the corner of the plate.

So we have Sam going in for his first bite of Choila (छ्वेला) and I have

to say you're looking very afro-y on camera.

You know what?

I'm at the stage now where I need to go to the barber and get a proper haircut.

And not only that but a shave.

A shave too.

So maybe that can be a future vlog.

In Nepal (नेपाल) or India.

To transform from Wolverine to clean cut.

You know what?

You don't look like Wolverine you look like a little bear.

Hahaha.

I'm just a little red-headed bear.

So fluffy.

Okay.

Anyways Choila (छ्वेला).

On to the food.

Mmmm.

Oh my gosh.

It is just such moist and tender fish.

Yeah.

And the spices are really nice.

Like um we didn't ask for it really spicy.

It is not as spicy as I thought it would be.

Yeah.

But it has a real rich flavor and I don't know what is in it because they wouldn't tell

us but it is secret.

It is a very nice well kept secret.

And they are obviously doing something well because I think this is one of the most popular

you know dishes that they have on their menu.

Yeah.

So it is good stuff.

Alright, moving on.

Well, you've tried my food.

Now time to introduce your dish.

So the one that I ordered was a Pokhara style curry.

And it comes with fish and we had the choice between chicken and pork I believe.

And let's stir that around a bit.

Oh la lah.

So you can see there is nice big chunks of fish over here too.

It looks really good.

It looks like the same fish they used for mine.

Yeah.

I'm sure it is.

So it also comes with brown rice.

Which is nice.

We had the choice between brown rice and white rice so we're making the adult decision to

get the healthier brown rice.

The healthier version.

I think brown rice is tastier anyway.

I agree with you on that.

So I'm just going to have a bite and then I'm going to go for a bite of rice.

So let's see what dish comes out on top?

You know what?

They said that this was a must try dish on their menu.

Yeah.

And I totally agree.

Like that curry is just so good, so rich.

It is like a thick flavorful curry.

And then because the fish has obviously been marinated and cooking in there for a long

time it is even I think it is even more tender than the fish from your dish.

Wow.

The fish from your dish.

That kind of rhymes a bit.

That could be a rap.

Yeah, that is my bad attempt at rapping.

But uh yeah it is so good I'm going to have another bite with the rice.

So don't mind my thumb here.

You do have a knife.

I do.

And a fork and a spoon.

To make it work.

It is more fun to eat with your hands whenever you can.

Yeah that rice really compliments it well.

It helps sop up a bit of the gravy.

Okay my turn.

Okay, go ahead.

Let's see what this is all about.

Oh la lah.

It is still steaming.

I know.

It is hot.

I mean it is kind of a miracle that it is still warm because we spent a lot of time

taking photos of it.

And then we ate yours first.

Isn't that awesome?

That is just amazingly good.

You know the curry has lentils.

It is kind of like a dal base.

That is really nice.

Isn't that good?

It gives it a nice texture as well.

Yeah, try it with the rice.

The rice really compliments it I feel.

Fancy tea time for Sammy the Teddy Bear.

It must mean it is dessert right?

I'm going to break the skin here.

So this is Nepali tea.

And I was looking at the ingredients.

Ah, I can smell it here.

So I think it is kind of similar to chai but there has been ginger and cinnamon added to

this one.

Cardamon.

Cardamon too.

Yeah.

I'm just going to try some.

It smells really good.

To me it smells like the holidays.

Like when you combine those spices it is just kind of Christmas-y.

It really is.

That is good.

It has got a really milky taste and you also taste the spices but yeah there has been no

sugar added which is kind of cool.

It has just got the natural milky tea taste.

And I like it.

It is warming me up.

It is getting a little chilly.

The sun is going down here in Pokhara (पोखरा).

So yeah.

Now what I've been waiting for.

The cake is melting while Sam takes sexy food shots.

So this is called Machapuchare Kiss (माछापुच्छ्रे).

I believe it is named after a peak if I got that right.

So it is a frozen cake with a cookie layer, some chocolate and a chocolate drizzled all

over top as well.

So it looks good.

Mmmm.

Do you like that?

Mmmm.

I sure do.

It is so good you're going in for more and you're not even describing it.

Oh my gosh.

Oh my gosh you know it is good.

Delicious is how I would describe it.

This part it is almost like a moist brownie.

The chocolate.

Yeah.

It has a moist brownie texture right in between the two cake layers.

Man.

So what say you?

I say I eye.

So apparently I get a bite too.

You only had like five before I got to try one.

It is just really decadent.

It is such a nice way to end what has been a wonderful meal.

It really is.

Our two main courses were amazing.

It really is.

And I didn't think I had a lot of room left for dessert but now that I'm trying this all

of sudden he does.

There is some room left over.

Easily make shapekeys/flexes using the bones [Blender] - Duration: 6:44.

I'm going to show you the easiest way to

make shape keys. First what you need to do is

create a basis shapekey. then from there

select the mesh.. no, select your bones-

go into pose mode and move them to make some kind

of flex, I'm just going to move the jaw to

make a mouth open flex then when its to

your liking slect the mesh go to the

object modifiers tab and click Apply As Shapekey

created the shapekey, its titled Armature but

now doesn't have an armature modifier so

you'll need to add one again just take this

little eyedropper and click on the

skeleton and the mesh will jump back to where

your had it. so select the bones, or the

ones that you moved and put them back

I just rotated the jaw so i would press

Alt+R to undo the rotations that we

made. And thats just one, you can make more you

can make a smile for example

Its gonna look terrible, but its just for an example

*lol* Thats the cheesiest grin ever

ok so select your mesh again click this

Apply As Shapekey right there then your

mesh will go back to normal

Then i'm going to click Add Modifier. Armature. and

parent it back to the skeleton we will

need to just hit Alt+G for the grab. If you select your mesh a mess you'll see that she now has a

very cheesy grin shapekey... and we can make

one for i guess the eyes closing so take this

LeftUpEye and bring it down.

The RightUpEye bring it down too and apply as shapekey

add another armature modifier and parent it

back with the eyedropper and Alt+G to

undo the grabbing that we did or the

translations and that should make her blink

So if you want to do just one side you could add a new one and go to

edit mode select just half of her face

or area that you want to move. hit W and

go to Blend From Shape and instead of

basis set it to that blink that we just

made and now

we have a flex that moves

just half of the blink. and you can use

same thing for the mouth open if you

wanted to. you can do it on just the left

side we do Blend From Shape and hit mouth open and it'll move just the ones

from that shapekey. that looks terrible

but its just one of the things you could do i usually

use it to make the blink

and then just make a left and right blink with it

we don't need that one

SO one other tip is using this

proportional editing- if you have it disabled

if you go to move a portion of her it

just grabs all the vertices moves them but

if you have enabled you can either

scroll up and down or i have to use page up and

page down because my scroller is broke but it moves

it also moves all the vertices around that

area which is pretty cool i guess

so instead of just

moving one vertice it moves all

those around it and if you crank that way

up it'll move a whole ton of them.

So thats just a few tips i guess on

how to make shapekeys
