Given that I do get a little bit new equipment, so yeah, but today is gonna be a live - a life update.
it's gonna be basically just me explaining things that have happened recently and
Answering - answering some you guys' questions and that sort of thing. So, I have everything written down.
So, if you guys are curious why I'm looking out that would be why. So, let's go ahead and get started...
So on September 15th, I'm going to be having surgery.
It will be for the Mickey button placement.
It's a fairly new procedure because it's typically used for feeding tubes, but I'm going to be using it for
bladder management. So, basically I'll be able to catheterize independently um, and
so the recovery will be about
two to three weeks from what I'm told,
but it might be a little bit more than that it might be less than not it just kind of depends,
but for the most part -
It's the same day procedure, so it shouldn't - I think the procedure itself only takes about
20 minutes ish so
It shouldn't take too long, but yeah.

(Topic 2: New hair color)

So, on the 5th of this month,
hopefully I will be doing - I will be getting my hair colored a different color. Right now, I have
Rose gold highlights. So that is what it currently is right now, but like I said on the 5th of this of
September I will be able. I'll be hopefully getting a different color, and it's gonna be a surprise color
So I'm not going to tell you guys, but it's gonna be one of those fun colors
And I'm really excited about it cuz I've never done anything like that before so pretty excited

The career change, I guess would be the correct term to use...? So, basically what that means is I'm gonna be changing careers.
For the longest time, you guys know I've been devoted to cosmetology and that's kind of what I wanted to do, but unfortunately
the physical aspect of it. I'm not gonna be able to handle.
So, I'm not gonna be able to do that anymore
which is fine - I mean hair has pretty much
been my life for as long as I can remember,
but the thing is is that you know it will change. You know things change so
Instead I would be going into sign language interpreting
I think it's gonna fit me better, and I think it would be just a better option in general for me
So that's what I'm gonna be doing. So, after my surgery, I'm gonna be researching colleges and
that sort of thing to hopefully get started on that pretty soon.

Next is a relationship update me and Brandon are still together. We don't really film too often
just because you know we kind of want to enjoy each other's company and that sort of thing, so
we don't really film too much, but -
especially like - specifically like actual videos. We don't really film too often, but you know that's fine.
But if you want to see us more like I'm not on a daily basis obviously but more of like
better or like a personal level I guess, you can follow my facebook fanpage, which I'll talk about in a minute,
but you can follow that and we pretty much do live broadcast every time I see him for about an hour or so.

In a nutshell this is just essentially because
Physically I can't. Physically I cannot sit there in front of the laptop and edit for hours on end
It just doesn't happen so
physically I'm not able to, but hopefully -
you know so I have to kind of space out what I
You know what my body can handle, so you know if one day it can't you know handle
Like if my legs are spasming too bad, my back's hurting or something. You know, I'm not gonna be physically putting up -
you know I'm not gonna make myself do it. I'm not gonna force
you know my body to do something that it's just not able to. Um,
because I'll be in the bed for like three weeks if I did that so I'm not gonna do that.

I got new filming lights. They're not technically filming lights, but they're from Amazon. if I can find them again,
I'll link them below, but I got two of them and I think they came in a pack of two,.
They're kind of like this lamp, but they're a little bit nicer looking I think. So I put those -
I'm actually using one right now to film this video, so if the lighting is okay
let me know. if I can do anything to fix it, Let me know as well.

So I did reorganize my room and it's different now
Than it used to be. I got a new desk, I got some new organizers and just kind of organized a little bit different.
So, if you guys would like a room tour, then just let me know - um and I can obviously do that.

The Facebook page that I was talking about earlier. So, basically, what I did was I created a Facebook page called
Living With Spina Bifida and it's a - and then it says Katts Life.
The reason why I did that is because I wanted - it was originally to educate people you know just about
Spina bifida and my kind of daily life with it.
and you know it's kind of get to know people and you know talk to people and that sort of thing
that I have it as well, or they're just curious about it because I feel like it's not well
known. It needs more awareness in it than it has now.
So, that's kind of that just why I do that,
but I do daily broadcasts pretty much on there
or. well, you know I do a couple other things on there as well. So you know if you guys are interested;

for that and you can go like it.

It still kind of started as like
One I was in was closing down, so I decided to make one and so if you guys are interested in learning sign language,
