hi there
lot of you guys have been asking me to show how the drone scenes are made
while I'm in the truck
and to show the drone itself
I had been using a Parrot BEBOP 2 drone 2
which I'm selling right now
but I'd like to do a full check on the drone to see if everything is okay
I sell it only if it's alright
but beforehand we will do a comparison with the Phantom
with this Mavic
and with the Parrot
to see what it is really good for, because these have serious difference in price
first, we get this remote controller for the drone
which is using radio frequency rather than wi-fi
this already makes it better than the Parrot
once
the bag wasn't included I bought it myself
and if any of you want to buy, I recommend it
because the drone fits just right in
the remote controller fits here
we got 2 batteries in extra, so we got 3 all together
you only get one
this set is called Fly More Combo
so DJI Mavic Pro Fly More Combo
and we also got a charger that can charge all 3 batteries in the same time
this is the cable for the charger
and the drone itself, so let's see
how this looks
storing-wise it's already better and easier
we don't need this
the drone looks like this
it's tiny
and to open the wings it's lit
which isn't a disatvantage in the truck or when u're hiking, that you can easily store it
and you just open up the propellers
and it's ready to use
it connect to the RC really fast and you can see what's happening via your phone
and I recommend to put your phone to Airplane Mode when you are flying the drone
in the front is the recording device which record at 4K resolution
and it's easy to use
so this is basically the drone
I got this for 1300euros
all together 400.000 Forint
and the Parrot Bebop 2 is around 180.000 Forint (600euros)
and I'm selling it for 100.000 Forint (330 euros)
SD card is given, it's a 16GB card
it's very easy to change the batteries
that's it
let's check out the drone in flight
so
we got this RC here, just unfold the antennas
it's perfect
open up the bottom
you can charge the RC here
but it can last really long
the phone.. I'm using an Apple right now
we got a separate plug for the Android phones
and
and you put it right in
alright
well
after this is done
we just turn on the Airplane Mode
after we got this
turn on the RC
and it connect right away
push the power button here, twice
alright, after the RC is connected to the drone open the DJI GO application, which is free
it's done
it's connected and it is ready to fly
it's important that we have a lot of options here and we can change a lot
for example
you asked how automatic is the drone or how it works
you can see all the settings here
you need to practice a lot
but for example with the Active Track you can make the drone follow you
i'm gonna show it right now
in the top right corner you can switch from camera mode to photo shoot mode
at the bottom with this sliders you can set up
the camera
the quality, iso
and next to it
the video
I record in MP4 format
you can change the resolution here, 4K or 1080P, you can record 60fps at 1080P
you can see it, 60 or 96 fps
but I rather use 4K
in 30 FPS
and then
you can mess around with the colors
don't care about this now
you have a lot of options
it's important, when you take off the record won't start automatically
unlike Parrot BEBOP 2
it already starts to record
so don't forget
to push the record button
as u press it
you can see the Take Off button on the top left corner
and it takes off
you better know if you are close to an airport
we got this map view on the bottom left corner
like this
and you can control the drone using the map
if there was an airport in the near
you would see a radius and you can not flight inside that circle
and if u're inside
the drone won't go higher than 1,5-2M
okay?
you better know this
switch back to the previous view
so it's really cool to see the map view
if you have internet connection too
you can see the streets etc. you name it
it's really good
on the left on the RC we got this button to change the camera angle and it's very useful
for example you can look down, you lost the drone and you want to land the drone
it says the battery is kind of low
on the right you can change the iso
this can be a huge advantage
the drone has a max speed of 60km/h in sport mode
it's easy to control the drone
you can mess around with it
if you want to buy a drone like this, I recommend to fly above flat terrain first
and you better get an insurance aswell
be careful with it
so how do I make those drone footages
so I'm here in an industrial park
I spent the weekend here
and I found this straight street here
where I'm not going to disturb anyone
and I'm not gonna hurt anyone's personal rights
and so on
the viewpoints are given
first of all
i'm gonna park here
not disturbing anyone
if I do the same on a highway
then I just look around, check the traffic
if barely comes anyone, only a few cars
I pull off, turn on the jam indicator
I get out, put down the drone
and it's done
I take off and do the same as in this industrial park
first, turn on the drone
alright, I put it on the street, let's take off
we must fly up to
6 meters
atleast
set up the focus, good, the camera angle
focus once more
done
fly higher
pull back
turn around, because we don't have sensors on the back and we don't want to hit a cable or anythingEDM}
same way when I'm on a highway
we got the perfect distance, a bit higher
it seems we are not disturbing anyone
like this
change the angle a bit
turn on the Active Track
use the truck as tracking source
that's it
oh, and don't forget to press the record button
and now it's recording
if you are ready to go, put down the RC
I put it somewhere where I can see what's happening to the drone on the screen
see the magic
the drone is following us and it dodges the stuff
which would block its way
so if I'm about to drive like this till the company, it would follow me all the way
the maximum is 60km/h but I'd say only 40km/h
and it's following us
you can set how high it should follow us
how far should it stay behind
from what angle
from which side
etc
so you have a lot to set up
it has different following modes, like it makes different type of shots
I don't really dare to try those in this type of terrain, and that's it
let's check the next situation, I want to follow my car in this case
the drone will turn after us, you can set it in the Active Track options
let's see
so I select my car
I'm on a field
and
and we have this Spotlight Option
okay let's start, we don't want to hit the pedestrian
I saw him
as I start driving
the drone start to turn after us
we had an examplre for this in another video if you remember
once more, I don't have to touch the RC or the drone
you set it up
turn after us and starts to follow
you can set the height, angle, distance..
the drone is really smart and intelligent
okay, make the drone to do a round around us
regular circle, we don't have to touch it
you might wanna practice this above flat terrain
before you get hung up on a tree
we got sensors for this though
the drone will reach it's maximum speed only if you turn everything off and put it in sport mode
and
and turn off all of the sensors
and as you can see the drone start to make a circle around us
I stop the car and
it does the movement so beautifully
I recommend this drone with all my heart
to anyone who wants to make professional shots
you can give the drone different routes
so it will follow those, and you really don't have to do anything
but it requires a lot of practice
there are videos on the internet, but mostly in english or only in english language
now you can see how the drone scenes are made
so it's totally automatic
the scenes from the freeway aren't drone scenes, there, I'm being recorded
but for that I need some luck, to have someone to put my camera on
stick with me for the next episode, where you can come with me for another day
I'll visit Italy
wonderful places
that video will be a bit adventurous
stick with me, if you would like to
bye
