However, one factor that should not be ignored is basically to understand yourself better.

In order to achieve such goal, one should consider being alone.

Being alone actually boosts yourself to be a better person which turns to be a successful

person.

That's because of self-reflection that you do to improve yourself.

Therefore, it slowly shapes you into a better person with so much better chance to be successful.

It is the first reason why people who prefer being alone are likely to be successful.

People who like to be alone are not anxious.

They can take break from fast-pacing experience with many kinds of people and interaction.

Spelling mistakes can be

anything from a minor embarrassment

to a failed exam.

And actually, spelling is one area where

native English speakers commonly make mistakes too.

They can definitely make improvements!

Since English is not phonetic, it takes years and years

for native English speakers to learn how to

spell words correctly

and even when we finish school,

there are often a few words that keep confusing us

all the way through adulthood.

In this lesson, we'll look carefully

at the spelling of words that include ie and ei.

But before we do, I want to introduce you to the

mmmEnglish Imitation Technique,

lessons designed to improve your English pronunciation

and expression to help you build your confidence

as an English speaker.

Okay, let's take a look at these words

achieve, believe and peace.

Now these words are sometimes misspelled like this,

with E before I.

And it's an easy mistake to make.

In fact, phonetically, it kind of makes more sense.

Words with I and E or E and I

often cause spelling headaches.

Still to this day, I remember the little rhyme

that my grade two teacher taught me,

"I before E except after C"

which is a really handy way of remembering the spelling

of these words.

The letter combination, ie, is more common than ei.

It just appears more. In fact, ei is quite rare really.

But there are some very common everyday words

that use ei.

And many of them follow a C, like the verb receive.

It's a perfect example of I before E except after C.

Receipt is another, ceiling, deceive, preconceive.

So that little rhyme, it's useful

... sometimes.

But if you live your life by this rule,

you'll make spelling mistakes for sure!

So as always, there are exceptions.

I feel like English is the language of exceptions.

In actual fact, the rule "I before E, except after C"

usually is only relevant when the vowel sound

represented by the ie is the long E sound.

Receive.

Receipt.

Ceiling.

Deceive.

Preconceive.

Okay, now are you ready for the exceptions?

Words like ancient, efficient and science,

sufficient are exceptions to the rule.

"I before E except after C" doesn't work here.

And that's because the vowel sound represented by ie

is not E.

Ancient.

Efficient.

Science.

Sufficient.

And the ei combination can follow other consonants,

not just C.

Their.

Foreign.

Weird.

Leisure.

Height.

Neighbour.

Weigh.

Vein.

And feisty.

How is it possible that this little combination of letters

is so difficult?

ie or ei - it's the source of confusion for English learners

and many, many native English speakers too.

So if you're having trouble with these spelling rules

keep this lesson in mind.

The "I before E, except after C" rule

is a really, really helpful rule to remember.

But it only really applies when the ie is pronounced as E.

Legal Immigrants in California Are FURIOUS and Fighting Back!

'We Were Not Offered Sanctuary!

Another California city has had "ENOUGH!" and this time they're letting it be known

in an epic way.

Escondido became the first city in San Diego County to join the Trump Administration lawsuit

against California's lawless, and unconstitutional illegal alien sanctuary law.

By a vote of 4-1 the Escondido City Council decided to join the lawsuit which is set to

target California Senate Bill 54.

The only lone vote in opposition was cast by City Council member Olga Diaz.

Senate Bill 54 is the state law which limits cooperation between local law enforcement

and federal immigration authorities such as ICE and Border Patrol.

Its stated intent is to remove the fear of deportation in order encourage residents of

immigrant communities to report crimes and work with local police, but the real reason

for this law is because legislators in the Liberal Democrat Haven of the State of California

know perfectly well that if President Trump gets his way there will be no way current

Democrat lawmakers in the state legislator will be able to keep their power for long.

Without that steady stream of low educated voters, Democrats tend to lose.

Via Fox News: "Escondido joined four other cities — and is the first in San Diego County

— that have taken action in fighting back against the law that protects illegal immigrants

from federal ICE officials.

"This is the right thing to do," Mayor Sam Abed said Wednesday.

"I was elected mayor to uphold the Constitution and to keep our community safe.

I am committed to do that, and that's what the council did today."

More than 60 residents voiced their arguments at the meeting, according to Fox 5 San Diego.

"By deporting my family, is that the reward I get for my hard work?" one person against

the vote said.

California Attorney General Xavier Becerra has been adamantly opposed to local officials

working to opt out of the sanctuary law.

"There is nothing in the Constitution that says that one rogue state can make policies

that affect the whole nation," one supporter said at a rally held before the meeting.

"I came to this country 45 years ago with me and my mother, OK?" one supporter of

the vote said.

"Forty-five years ago, we were not offered sanctuary.

We were not offered an easier, softer way, OK?

We were told 'You have to be an American citizen and here's what you have to do.

And we did it."

A woman outside the meeting in a Trump hat argued that the U.S. Constitution does not

give a "rogue state" the right to make policies that affect the whole nation.

A vote will be held April 17 by the San Diego County Board of Supervisors to determine if

the county will follow Escondido's action.

Escondido's Mayor Sam Abed said he believes the new law puts Escondido's citizens at

risk, and also criticized Gov. Jerry Brown and California's Democratic-led state legislature

as "politically, ethically and morally corrupt."

He also added that he is a proud immigrant himself who came here legally and who believes

in the rule of law while at the same time stressing the fact that his prime goal is

to keep the citizens of Escondido safe.On a side note, Senate Bill 54 was not voted

on by the people of California, most of whom are for securing our borders after seeing

what a lax border security has done to the once "Golden State."

Illegal immigrants have been legally allowed to obtain driver's licenses in the state

since Jan. 1, 2015 after Democratic Gov. Jerry Brown signed Assembly Bill 60, "The Safe

and Responsible Drivers Act," into law.

The bill was meant to help illegal immigrants "get to work, drive their children to school,

and run everyday errands without the fear of being pulled over," according to DriveCA.

The legislation is "working the way it was intended to and has dramatically improved

the lives of a million immigrants and their families," Luis Alejo, author of the bill

in 2013 as a then-Democratic assemblyman, told the newspaper in a statement.

"Immigrants are getting tested, licensed and insured and this is making our roads safer

for everyone," Alejo added.

The licenses "have a visible distinguishing feature and cannot be used for certain federal

purposes," such as gaining access to restricted federal areas, and don't grant illegal immigrants

the right to vote.

California isn't the only state that allows illegal immigrants to legally have a driver's

license.

Eleven other states — Colorado, Hawaii, Vermont, New Mexico, Maryland, Illinois, Delaware,

Washington, Nevada, Connecticut and Washington, D.C. — also allow those without legal U.S.

citizenship to apply for licenses if they can provide specific documentation, "such

as a foreign birth certificate, a foreign passport, or a consular card and evidence

of current residency in the state."

Constellation Brands Engage In Water War For American Beer - Duration: 7:48.

Mexicali residents are engaged in a water war against big beer corporations Constellation

Brands.

Residents say their district is suffering from water scarcity and giving up their water

rights to the company to make beer exclusively for American consumers will only make things

worse.

Joining me to talk about this is RT Correspondent Anya Parampil.

Anya, let me ask this.

What is Constellations Brand and what do they market in America?

Hi Mike.

Well, Constellations Brands is a major Fortune 500 company which markets beer, wine, and

spirits and produces that in the United States.

Viewers will probably recognize their beer brands most readily, Corona, Modelo Especial,

Negra Especial, and also Ballast Point, they recently purchased in order to kind of break

into the craft beer market.

These beers make them the largest beer import company in the United States.

In addition, as I said, they also produce wine and spirits such as Svedka vodka.

Anya, give us an idea of what the water situation is in that part of Mexicali.

How bad is it?

We know about the droughts, but how bad has it become?

Sure, Mike.

It's pretty bad.

First, let's understand where Mexicali is.

It's the capital of the state of Baja in Northern Mexico.

Residents' access to water is already quite bleak.

This is a very dry and hot part of the continent.

Temperatures in Mexicali reach 125 degrees Fahrenheit, and there's almost no rainfall.

They get about 3.1 inches of rain a year, which, just to give you an idea even compared

with a city like Los Angeles, which we consider fairly dry in the United States, they get

about 15 inches.

As a result of all of this, residents in Baja have little to very little access to water.

The government says about 300,000 people there have no access to water.

6% have no access to running water.

Keep in mind this is just for regular household chores, cleaning, gardening, that kind of

thing, because the tap water in Mexico is already unsafe to drink.

People there have to depend on private corporations to buy their money or local governments, and

now that's why they're saying this deal with Constellation will only make their situation

worse considering the national water authority, Conagua, already estimates that 37.5% of the

country's aquifers are overexploited.

Yeah.

Anya, it looks like a big water grab all over.

The biggest corporations in the country are ... Nestles, for example, is just going all

over the planet, taking people's drinking aquifer.

They're denying that it's going on but it is happening.

They're pumping places ... California, where there's droughts going on, Flint, Michigan,

where the water is already destroyed.

They're traveling all over the globe, buying up some of the biggest aquifers in the world.

We've done stories on this, but it seems like almost ... The American public looks at and

it's almost like a yawn moment, like "It doesn't really affect me."

It does affect you because they're trying to privatize the very water that you should

have access to as a matter of right.

Look, has Constellation made any public comments regarding the complaints of local residents?

What's the position of Constellation?

What are they saying here?

Well, NPR asked them exactly about this very issue, and this was the response that Constellation

came up with.

They said "A company like Constellation Brands is managed with international standards in

terms of high ethics and values.

Constellation Brands has been in the US for more than 70 years and for a company to have

that kind of permanence, it has to be managed with high national and international standards

of ethics and values and the care of the environment and natural resources.

It's implicit."

Now, Mike, you probably know better than anyone else that that's not the case.

Just because a company or a corporation is successful or has been around for a long time

doesn't mean they're operating in an ethical or, for that matter, legal way.

Well, one thing corporations do ... and we see it with all the major, major corporations.

I see it all the time when we're getting ready to go to trial.

Matter of fact, I'll be starting a trial against Monsanto in the very near future, and what

we'll see is Monsanto coming into the place that we're doing ... where that case is going

to be tried and talking about all these feel-good ads, like "We're part of your community.

We paid for this softball team.

We do all these wonderful things."

They will spend millions telling that lie, making people understand something that they

... where they drive the conversation.

They have you ignore the real conversation, which is, in that case, Monsanto's making

a product that's killing people.

In this situation, Constellation Brand is stealing water that's vital to these people

to be able to stay alive.

So all of this feel-good PR stuff has been well-focused and thought out for a long time.

Look, activists say that there are government officials who are working at Constellation

Brands with them to try to accomplish this, to try to steal water, and they're working

in that professional capacity.

Is there any proof of this?

Do we know that we actually have these corporate officials that are part of the big theft here?

Well, there is great evidence, and we do know their names.

I'll get to that in a second, Mike.

First, I just want to explain to viewers how we got into this situation, and that really

started with the establishment of NAFTA in 1994.

Then, we had many industries run south of the border to get cheap labor and resources.

It turns out the beer industry was no exception.

As a result of NAFTA, Mexico actually became the number one exporter of beer in the world,

and activists will say this transformed many local governments into an extension of corporations

when it comes to the issue of who these people actually represent.

For example, NPR reports the legal representative for Constellation Brands, Sergio Eduardo Montes

Montoya, also works in the Mayor's Office as the director of urban administration.

Senador Victor Hermosillo Celada's company, Hermosillo and Associates, is leading the

construction of the multi-billion dollar brewery and speaks openly about his political business

dealings.

Additionally, Mike, the Governor of Baja, Francisco Vega, actually introduced a bill

which would have given private corporations access to the state's water supply and allow

them to tap into it.

Due to public outrage and protests, this bill was walked back.

But as we're seeing now, they didn't need legislation like that to go in and say "We're

going to open up a brewery and tap your water resources."

So it certainly does give people cause to say there might be some corruption in the

high level of government if people working in the city also are working for Constellation.

Right.

Right, right.

We'd like to think that that only happens in third world countries.

It happens here in the United States.

As a matter of fact, we are the leader, in the United States, of having that revolving

door of having regulators actually working for major corporations.

So it's not just Mexico, it's not just third world countries that have this problem.

It's, in a very big way, right here in the United States.

BREAKING: Total Of TWO MILLION Left In Trump's First Year — 'Good Riddance'

It's now official, the total number of individuals receiving benefits from the Supplemental Nutrition

Assistance Program also known as SNAP, or food stamps officially declined by more than

two million in the fiscal year 2017.

These numbers are according to newly released figures by the United States Department of

Agriculture.

In the fiscal year 2016, the total number of individuals receiving benefits from the

food stamp program totaled a record-breaking 44,219,363, but in 2017 that number dropped

to 42,182,443.

That's a total decline of 2,036,920.

Not bad for having a President who most said wasn't qualified and who never held public

office before.

Historical data does show that while the SNAP program has greatly expanded over time participation

has declined recently.

The USDA has actively tracked data on SNAP participation since the fiscal year 1969,

In that time average participation in the program stood at about 2,878,000.

Sadly, although this does mean that since then participation in the program has increased

14-fold, it's still an encouraging sign to see the numbers finally starting to go

down.

Here is more information on these numbers via Townhall:

"While the SNAP program requires that state employees certify households for benefits,

the agency issued new guidance in December of last year that would allow private-sector

employees to provide information.

"The new policy maximizes flexibility within the law related to the SNAP certification

process, while holding states accountable for ensuring eligible people have access to

food benefits as they move toward self-sufficiency," the agency states.

Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue said this helps the program with streamlined access

and efficiency.

"This flexibility is a positive step toward enhancing customer service and being good

stewards of taxpayer dollars," Perdue said.

"I encourage all states with an interest in this new flexibility to consider this change

in policy, especially states looking for better ways to align their operations across multiple

programs."

Brandon Lipps, acting undersecretary for food, nutrition, and consumer services, said that

as the economy continues to improve, participation in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program

(SNAP) is declining.

"The goal of the SNAP program is to support families in need as they strive to attain

self-sufficiency.

SNAP was established as a temporary supplemental nutrition benefit guiding people to self-sufficiency

and self-reliance, not a permanent way of life.

The Congressional Budget Office estimates that SNAP participation will drop by about

1.3 million people each year over the next 10 years as the economy continues to strengthen."

"Working together with our state partners, USDA is committed to finding innovative, cost-effective

ways to help SNAP recipients find and keep gainful employment in order to build a stronger

future for their families," Lipps said.

"We must ensure that we serve SNAP participants well."This is great in two ways.

The first is that the gravy train is finally coming to an end, and the second is that people

are doing better economically so they aren't needing as much government help as they used

to.

But one observation we can make in these numbers is the number has increased along with the

loss of our factories to cheaper foreign labor and the fact that politicians on both parties

just stopped caring about American Citizens.

This is what we elected President Trump to do, and this is what he's doing.

Turning America into a force to be reckoned with once again.

Here is more on how President Trump wants to change the food stamp program via NPR:

"The Trump administration is proposing a major shake-up in one of the country's most

important "safety net" programs, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, formerly known

as food stamps.

Under the proposal, most SNAP recipients would lose much of their ability to choose the food

they buy with their SNAP benefits.

The proposal is included in the Trump administration budget request for fiscal year 2019.

It would require approval from Congress.

Under the proposal, which was announced Monday, low-income Americans who receive at least

$90 a month — just over 80 percent of all SNAP recipients — would get about half of

their benefits in the form of a "USDA Foods package."

The package was described in the budget as consisting of "shelf-stable milk, ready

to eat cereals, pasta, peanut butter, beans and canned fruit and vegetables."

The boxes would not include fresh fruits or vegetables.

Currently, SNAP beneficiaries get money loaded onto an EBT card they can use to buy what

they want as long as it falls under the guidelines.

The administration says the move is a "cost-effective approach" with "no loss in food benefits

to participants."The USDA believes that state governments will be able to deliver

this food at much less cost than SNAP recipients currently pay for food at retail stores — thus

reducing the overall cost of the SNAP program by $129 billion over the next 10 years.

This and other changes in the SNAP program, according to the Trump administration, will

reduce the SNAP budget by $213 billion over those years — cutting the program by almost

30 percent."

I saw this and I hey guys and welcome back to my channel I'm so excited about

today's video because I went to Walmart last night and I was only like going

there to exchange a couple things but you know me I just kept looking through

every aisle and I did a little haul I did a little drugstore haul again and I

almost actually picked up an entire face of new products that I've never tried

before some of them I feel like are super new to the drugstore as well

someone might have been there for a while but I just had never heard really

much about them I've never tried them myself and so I'm gonna be doing like a

full face of all the new products that I purchased and I'm gonna be doing a

little wear test so we can see if we can discover any more new drugstore gems cuz

that's my favorite the only thing that I have is my brows right now I use the

covergirl micro-fine and defined pencil and the shade honey brown this is not

new to me I didn't find a new brow product so I just use what I have so

let's just go right into it I'm actually gonna start with complexion I was

recently sent these two primers from L'Oreal so I didn't pick these up but

they are new I haven't tried them and I wanted to use them in this tutorial they

are the L'Oreal infallible Matlock primer and then the infallible glow lock

primer I'm gonna use both of them today I'm gonna test out the mattifying primer

down the t-zone and then the glow primer on the rest of the face I'm just because

usually I get a little oily in the t-zone and I like the rest of my skin to

be a little bit Chloe so let's see how this will work I'm just gonna go ahead

and put a little bit of that on my hand it's a nice light pink color this is the

glow one first the glow lock primer and apply that to the sides of the face whoa

this feels like a lotion if he was like um like a really nice hydrating lotion

so that's that one let's put the mattifying primer down the t-zone I

should have opened this off camera I think I tried to open most of them so I

wouldn't be sitting here trying to get the seal off this looks a little

different than I expected I almost expected it to be more of a silicone it

looks like a lotion it's just not pink like the other one was so I'm gonna go

ahead and put this all down the t-zone this one does actually feel more

silicone based but not like the Porefessional or anything like that

where it's like pure silicone you just tell it there's a little bit in there

but it's not like too much we are primed I'm gonna let that sit for

a second I'm gonna go into foundation I kind of swatch it on the back of my hand

it looked a little bit dark I don't really know what I was thinking I should

have probably looked for a lighter shade that they had lighter shades but for

some reason this looked like it would match me in store we will see this is

the Revlon age defying 3x foundation I got the shade 20 tender beige I have

never seen anybody talk about this and I had personally never seen this at the

drugstore so I was like girl I gotta try this I used to love the Revlon

Photoready foundation like years ago I feel like they changed the formula and I

made it glittery because when I try it again it just was not cute so I'm gonna

go ahead and pump a little bit of this on the back of my hand I love it there's

a pump on this there's one fluid ounce and let's try it on one side with a

brush you know what this might work if it doesn't oxidize we can definitely

make this work so I'm just gonna go ahead and use a brush on one side of the

face they said it was a full coverage foundation on the display which made me

want to buy it as well because you guys know how much I really love full

coverage foundations I just personally reach for those most days because it's

less work for me since I do have a little bit of hyperpigmentation and some

blemishes it's just really quick for me to throw on a full coverage foundation

and not have to worry about it some days this is looking good I make sure to

blend it down the neck just in case it is slightly different than the rest of

my skin tone get a little bit on the eyelids I feel like that looks really

nice the coverage was good that's the side with the brush now let's go ahead

and apply it with a sponge I picked up the flower Beauty sponge I've heard so

much about this from so many different people and just haven't had a chance to

try it yet so I'm gonna put a little bit of the foundation all over my face pick

up the extra on the sponge and let's see how it applies with a sponge wow this is

so soft oh my gosh it's like really really fluffy using this sponge made the

foundation look a lot more skin like but as always I feel like it picked up some

of the product I got way more coverage using the brush so I would probably do

what I do with a lot of foundations with this foundation I love to apply it

initially with a brush all over the skin and then kind of Pat it out with the

sponge to get that really nice finish but you still get the coverage with the

brush first so me just stippling a little bit more

that over the problem areas added more coverage it builds up really nicely so

far so good I have the weirdest blemish here it's been so hard to cover I'm

gonna really blend it down the neck just with whatever's left on the brush

alright so that is foundation it actually looks really really nice I'm

excited to see how this wears throughout the day so let's move on to concealer I

was really excited to see these concealers I'm pretty sure they're new I

hadn't seen them they said on the display that they were Walmart exclusive

so if you haven't seen them around check your Walmart these are the L'Oreal

True Match super blendable concealers I love the L'Oreal I love L'Oreal True

Match products so I'm really excited about this I got two shades

I got fair w12 and fair w3 four I wanted to have two shades just in case so I

could try it out on blemishes and under the eyes so let's try this out all right

so I've got the product in the sponge applicator sponges are really cute I

like the size of this so I'm gonna take the light one first and I'm gonna see

how this covers blemishes it's supposed to be like a multi-use concealer so I'm

assuming that that means that you can use it on the skin as well as under the

eyes try to get this one here and I'm just gonna use it how I would normally

use it I'm gonna go ahead and Pat that out with a sponge versus using the

actual applicator tip that comes with it if you like that did a pretty good job

let's use the fair shade underneath the eyes I'm not really sure how much to use

or helpful coverage this is gonna be so I'm kinda gonna do the same thing where

I apply it and then blend it out with that sponge Wow I really like that if

you guys can see the difference the finish is super almost velvety looking

it's not super duper matte like drying matte but it's not shiny like oily but

there is a radiance to it too it's like the best of both worlds I really like

the finish of it I'm hoping that it will hold up well because so far I really

like this concealer it doesn't seem like there's that much product in the actual

applicator though which it was kind of more of an expensive product if I

remember so that could potentially be a downside depending on how fast I go

through this I don't really know I'm just taking what's left on the sponge

and blending it on the eyelid as well I'm also putting it down the center of

the face I really loved how easy it was to draw a line down the center of my

nose and then I'm just gonna blend that all out

the same sponge so that is how the complexion looks so far I think it looks

nice it's like the semi matte has kind of a natural finish and natural coverage

well natural looking coverage it's definitely more full coverage altogether

for powder I picked up this one from Milani

it's the translucent light to medium make it last setting powder it's

designed for light to medium skin tones there's a little turn dial in here which

is nice so you can kind of control how much product comes out with the

packaging which i think is a great idea so I've got a little bit in the lid I'm

gonna go ahead and set the under eyes with this first just using a little

brush and to make sure that it's not creased before I do that it actually

that concealers not really creasing that quickly and I'm just going to press this

underneath the eyes the powder feels really really fine really smoothing it's

not that brightening for under the eyes but so far I really like it I'm gonna go

ahead and use that same powder to set all over the face I like the way it

makes my skin feel a little bit of my blemishes are peeking through now I feel

like when I said it it kind of darkened the spots but that happens sometimes

with a lot of setting powders for me so just something that I noticed I'm not

mad at it I don't really care if there's a little bit that shows through let's go

ahead and move to bronzer I didn't actually pick up a new bronzer so I'm

just gonna go ahead and use my L'Oreal True Match Lumi

bronzer bronzer and let's just warm up the complexion with this I'm gonna put

it along the hairline under the cheekbones along the jaw line and down

the neck I really am liking how this bronzer is

blending over that finishing powder the setting powder sometimes this bronzer

can kind of stick to areas on my face so I have to always go over and like buff

out the edges just to make sure it's super blended but because of that powder

like I feel like it blends super nicely on top of it I'm just taking some of

that same bronzer and contouring the sides of the nose and underneath the lip

I'm just gonna take that translucent powder brush and buff over the nose I

always like to do that so it's not like too harsh of a contour for blush I have

seen these for years now they're from Maybelline they're the fit me blushes

and I just never picked any up and they reminded me so much of the Bobbie Brown

blushes which I've been loving but I really wanted to see if there would be a

potential dupe so I picked up two shades that kind of look like Bobby Brown

shades to me and I might layer them both I'm

start off with the shade 35 this one's called coral just a really pretty soft

coral shade not sure how pigmented these are so I'm just gonna start to kind of

layer this on the cheeks okay so it seems like it's really soft this one has

a little bit more of a sheen to it and the other blushes a little bit more of a

matte blush so I'm just gonna go ahead and apply this kind of all over the

cheek area all the way up toward the temples just to have a nice wash of

color and luminosity and then let's take the shade 25 this is pink I'm gonna use

this on just the apples of the cheeks kind of layer that over it these are

really soft they're not like extremely pigmented but I like how soft they are

because then you can really build them up to the level of blush that you like I

like kind of heavier blushes sometimes I think it makes the whole complexion look

more alive but if you're somebody who likes a more subtle blush I feel like

this formula so far at least is a little bit softer than something I've used

before so I like it it's soft and subtle and I love how many colors they have in

the range so let's go ahead and move to highlight I saw this and I had to pick

it up and it's so funny because while I was buying it yesterday kathleenlights

uploaded her favorites video and I washed it this morning and this was in

it I didn't even know like that she had used it before so this is the Milani

stellar lights highlighter palette in the shade Rose glow so so pretty I'm

probably gonna just dip into those two shades mainly so let's do that I'm just

gonna go like that maybe trying to take a little bit more of that lighter shade

and let's apply this to the cheeks oh well that is a very blinding oh whoa I'm

getting a little a little out of hand here okay that is so pretty what I like

to bring it toward the front of the cheeks for a little glow around the

brows a little above the brows Cupid's bow whoops gosh these are like pigmented

and very glowy I'm not used to that wow that is nice that is so pretty I'm gonna

put a little bit down the center of the nose oh my goodness what a glow before I

go into eyes I'm just gonna go ahead and touch up the brows really quickly and

now let's go into eye shadow I picked up this wet and wild palette it looked

really intriguing especially being from the drugstore because so major

sore palates I feel like at least a lot of them are neutral which I really like

and this is kind of a neutral but they do have really fun pops of color in here

there's a nice blue this was five dollars it's wet and wild it's they're

not a basic peach palette and I'm really excited to try it so let's go ahead and

see how this works I'm going to first set the eyelid with some of that same

Milani powder we used earlier just so that we have a nice base for our eye

shadows so first I'm gonna take this shade right here it says it's a

transition shade you'll see how well it shows up I'm just gonna go ahead and pop

that through the crease and a little bit above as our transition shade oh it is

kind of showing up it's really subtle but I kind of like that for a transition

yeah you can definitely see it it's just kind of like a topi color I've never

used this kind of a shade for a transition before but we're gonna work

with it well I have this shade I'm gonna actually run that along the lower lash

line as well just for some subtle definition there next I'm going to take

this second transition shade right here which is a little bit darker and warmer

than transition shades I've used before so I'm just gonna kind of buff this

through the crease again right over where we put that first transition shade

but I'm just gonna keep it a little bit lower I'm gonna take what's left on the

brush and run that on the lower lash line I'm gonna take the first brush we

used and just kind of blend them or both of those to make sure that the edges are

nice and blended out I'm actually adding more of that same shade to the outer

corner of the eye so now I'm gonna take this shade right here just on my finger

and I'm gonna dab this on the eyelid that's kind of a cool color so far I

feel like these eyeshadows are working well I don't know if I can say that I'm

like floored yet about them like I was with the Milani palette for example but

so far these are pretty good I'm gonna take that dark brown shade and I'm just

going to you know that's pretty pigmented I'm gonna use that to really

further define the outer third of the eye and crease wow that one is really

pigmented I was not expecting that and I'm gonna go back in with that shimmery

shade we had on the lid just because that was so pigmented I had to blend it

further in than I had planned I'm taking that original lighter transition shade

on that original brush and just dusting that on the top edges to really diffuse

it I'm really wanting to use this palette I'm not sure how it will look

with the look we have going on but I'm just gonna take it anyway yeah I'm

gonna buff this on the lower lash line it's definitely more of a subtle blue

I'm not really floored by the pigment of this blue but on the lower lash line I

kind of like the softness of it I'm gonna blend out the edges all right so

there's the eye shadows I feel like they worked they just weren't like SuperDuper

pigmented but you can definitely make them work you can definitely build them

up I'm excited to see how they wear so for mascara I'm gonna use the Maybelline

total temptation mascara this has been around for a while now

and every time I see it in the drugstore I just love the packaging so much so I

was like you know what I'm just gonna buy it we're gonna try it out here's

what the wand looks like I usually really like wands like this because it

means it will be volumizing so I think it's supposed to be a lengthening and

volumizing mascara which I'm into so let's go ahead and apply this to the top

and bottom lashes so here's this eye with the mascara on this eye does not

have it so far I'm noticing that it is a good mix between a lengthening and

volumizing mascara lengthening mascaras for me making my lashes super separated

super thin and really long obviously volumizing mascaras kind of make them a

little bit more clumpy this is like an in-between it gives you that kind of

separated length but with a little bit more volume than just a lengthening

mascara on its own so I'm just gonna put this on this eye as well I got a little

bit of mascara on the lid so while that dries I'm gonna go back into this Milani

palette and I'm gonna use this to highlight the inner corner of the eyes

I'm excited to see how this really light shade looks because it's so pigmented oh

my goodness I'm mixing the gold and the lighter shade and just applying that to

the inner corner and then I'm gonna take what's left on the brush and put it

right under the highest point of the brow I'm just taking a tissue and wiping

off foundation on the lips if we got any on there um and then I actually want to

set the brows I'm gonna give this Loreal brow stylist boost and set volumizing

brow mascara another whirl so I'm just gonna go ahead and apply this mmm that

did something weird just feel like there's a lot of product on that

applicator I really like the effect that it gives them there's not like heaps of

product on the applicator so I just need to remember that and like maybe wipe off

a little bit before I go in with it because it totally glopped right there

to try to fix that I don't know so now I'm going to apply

the Physicians Formula healthy lip velvet finish liquid lipstick these

aren't new to me I didn't pick up a new lip color I believe this one's in the

shade Coral minerals the label fell off of it so I will definitely link it in

the description but I'm pretty sure it's coral minerals so I want to add all

natural nude in the center I kind of want to combine these two so I get more

of like a nudie coral before I forget I'm gonna dust off the mascara marks and

last but not least I bought some setting sprays both of them are from flower

Beauty they're both the sealed the deal setting sprays this one is the

long-lasting matte finish setting spray this is the hydrating dewy finish

setting spray so I'm gonna kind of do the same thing that I did with the

primers I'm gonna do the hydrating spray on the outside of the face and then the

mattifying down the center so let's go ahead and spray the dewy finish spray

okay that's a fine mist we're just gonna spray it on the outer parts of the face

I really like the applicator on that it doesn't like squirt product out at you

and then let's do the center of the face with the matte finish okay that one

squirts a little bit I can feel it yeah oh dear alright you guys so this is a

completed makeup look I am going to be doing a wear test today here is the

before and after with no makeup and what the finished look looks like I'm really

excited to see how everything wears I didn't really have any major

disappointment yet I really liked the foundation the primer the concealer felt

really nice I really like the finished look the highlighters were beautiful the

eyeshadows were like they work obviously I loved how the look turned out but it

wasn't like my favorite eyeshadow formula of all time

it is currently 122 in the afternoon so I'm gonna be wearing this as long as

possible I will check in with you guys in just a

little bit and we will kind of do a little update on how everything is

holding up all right you guys I'm back it is now

9:30 p.m. let's take a close look at the makeup shall we so the foundation to be

honest it hasn't really separated or budged or anything like that I will say

at around five o'clock I had such an oily t-zone it's been so long since I've

had that oily of a t-zone I'm thinking what may have happened is

when I piled on like the mattifying primer and then I sealed the whole thing

with the mattifying setting spray I think that a lot of times I've noticed

in the past as well if I use too many mattifying products and if my skin isn't

hydrated enough underneath those products sometimes my skin kind of

overcompensates and starts producing a lot more oil than usual because it feels

restricted from all the mattifying things that I put on it so I think

that's kind of what happened around five-30 I went out to dinner with my

husband and I was so oily that I did touch up a little bit with the Milani

translucent powder it seemed to really nicely absorb everything I didn't touch

it up after that I went did the one time through the t-zone cuz I was looking

really really oily I looked up a little more information on this foundation here

this Revlon age-defying foundation on line it's kind of marketed as a more

hydrating foundation which makes a lot of sense so it could also be a

combination of that it's super super hydrating it definitely looks really

glowy it looks really dewy it did get a little greasy to me in my

t-zone but I think if you are a dry skinned and you have a hard time finding

really hydrating foundations this might be a good one for you because it really

has worn super super well for several hours like I said before there's not

that much separating there's not creasing I have a little bit of creasing

in the smile lines here but it's actually not as bad as some other

foundations crease on me around the nose sometimes gets a little strange with

foundations and that one kind of did but it's really not that bad I feel like

overall it was a really good pretty long wearing foundation I forgot to mention

it also has an SPF of 20 in it so if you're somebody who likes sunscreen in

your foundation that might be a plus for you the concealer I really liked as well

things have stayed pretty matte underneath the eyes my blemishes have

stayed pretty concealed as well there's a couple that are kind of coming through

but I do sometimes touch my chin and things like that so sometimes the

foundation can rub off in those areas but it's actually looking pretty darn

good the eyeshadows you guys I wanted to mention that in like this lighting and

super bright lighting I was kind of like you know the eyeshadows are good but I

don't know if I'm obsessed with them kind of thing but in more light

normal lighting and natural lighting and more dim lighting there's like these

really gorgeous you can kind of see them in this light but it's actually prettier

in different lighting but there's these really gorgeous like gold glitter flakes

and it's beautiful that shade from the wet and wild palette this one that I

used right here I'm really loving it so this was not initially a favorite of

mine just because the application wasn't like something that blew me away but I

have really enjoyed the uniqueness of that eye shadow and it's worn for hours

so I don't really have anything bad to say about this even though I thought

that like maybe I would by the end of the day I really don't actually the

highlight is really gorgeous and if you like as I wore throughout the day it

just looked more and more dewy and more and more natural which I really like so

I'm so excited about this Milani palette the mascara to me looks really nice it

didn't flake or anything underneath the eyes which is something that I like to

look for so that was a plus I feel like it's kind of just like another mascara

to me I feel like it's a good mascara so if you're in need of one and you like

how this looks I would recommend it but I feel like right now I'm gravitating

toward that covergirl one that I used in my last video and a L'Oreal lash

paradise mascara if we're talking like drugstore mascaras so the flower Beauty

sponge was great I really liked that I'm excited to keep using it the flower

Beauty sealed the deal setting sprays the mattifying one didn't seem to work

very well this time around but again I think that's because I overdid the

mattifying products in the t-zone and my skin freaked the dewy setting sprays

what I have on the rest of my face and I do feel like maybe that's what's helped

it lasts really long I I don't know the makeup seems to look really nice in

those areas and that's also where I put the infallible glow lock primer on so

I'm definitely gonna keep playing with these and see how it works with other

foundations and more like foundations that I'm more familiar with just to kind

of see if it's the foundation that's lasting longer or if it's those two in

conjunction with the foundation that's making it look really nice oh yeah the

blush is okay the coral blush I thought it was really pretty but I feel like I

have blushes that are super similar to this like the found Beauty illuminating

blush kind of did the same thing for me also my L'Oreal blush I do think it was

pretty though on the skin I do like the number 25 the pink one a little bit more

just because that's more of a matte blush and I'm just gonna like the matte

bright pink vibe it's very Bobby Brown and I feel like I would reach for this

one more than this one just because I have a lot that give this exact same

effect I also didn't touch up my lip color at all I know it doesn't look

super amazing but look at how well it faded over hours and hours over several

meals several snacks love these lip colors those aren't new to me I've used

them for several months now but they're really really great oh the powder the

powder I really have like the powder like I said before when I dusted it over

the t-zone it really seemed to do a nice job of getting rid of oils I'll show you

guys right now what I did because I just kind of like to show you sometimes how

it looks if you were to touch this up throughout the day so I'm just gonna

kind of dust that over the t-zone do you see how well that works but the thing

that I liked about it is how finely milled it is so it really just soaks up

the oils but lets it still look like skin it just kind of freshens up the

makeup so just for reference I'm now gonna do a before and after from when I

first apply the makeup to now when I just freshly touched it up so you guys

can kind of see how it were throughout the day and how it looks after I've

touched it up in comparison to the very beginning of the day I felt like I had

actually a really successful haul again I feel like I have a lot of successful

hauls at the drugstore these days and I love it I can't wait to keep finding

more fabulous products from the drugstore please comment down below and

hey everyone it's Ian K back again with another one for ya here in the drive

thru at my local McDonald's to pick up their latest signature crafted sandwich

so hang on real quick while I scoop this one up yeah peep this out I've got a

mobile order for Ian the code ends in NS77 right that's the garlic white cheddar

with the fresh beef right you got it OK

beautiful thanks so as you just heard garlic white cheddar goodness with fresh

beef I am very excited to check this out hey so is this fresh beef as juicy as

they say nice I hope so alright it was worth a shot right how you doing

awesome thanks so much have a good one alright guys let's peep this out

it's the latest and possibly greatest here at McDonald's and no it is not the

Grand Big Mac this time out it's the signature crafted garlic white cheddar

and already guys I am getting strong hints of cheddar in the air along with

some beefiness in the background and there's a reason for that

let's pop the top here and see what we've got underneath looks like plenty

of lettuce a normally tomato some garlic aioli and some of these crispy garlic

chips on the very top they're not really skimping on the quantity of the goodies

on this one guys but what's hiding underneath it is naturally that sharp

white cheddar and I'm gonna lift this up just a little bit so you can see it but

it already feels different and definitely a juicier type of patty guys

there is definitely lots of juice on the bottom of this bun that's 100% fresh

beef cooked to order taking it to Wendy's with this one guys and it

definitely looks and smells pretty great and it's also pretty hot so let's get

into this right now guys I'm very much looking forward to this it looks very

flavor packed it's the all new garlic white cheddar here at McDonald's let's

peep out this flavor Wow you know I had a little trouble

lifting this one up during the close-up it is just minutes old and it is very

hot let's dive in it's the all-new signature crafted garlic white cheddar

at McDonald's featuring 100% fresh beef Oh hmm Wow for the first time ever guys

I am actually getting a charred flavor around the edges of the beef on this

this is very juicy and very very fresh it is definitely different I'm going in

again mmm oh my god a heavy beef flavor with lots of heavy flavor coming from that garlic

aioli and those crispy garlic chips this is already a winner without the tomato

that extra moisture is not even needed if you guys are down with that the

flavor of the beef is insane on this it is absolutely different from what I'm

used to that quarter pound beef patty completely covers the very bottom of the

bun here guys and kind of slightly comes off the edges which is very cool and

speaking of edges let me put a little piece here and go for that char one more

time mmm right after you guys take the first bite of this one if you give this

one a shot take the meat by itself after and you will notice the difference even

more so this is very very juicy and noticeably different guys I think it's

the dawn of a new era of burgers here at McDonald's and even with the sharp white

cheddar on this guys that is really standing out on top of it at the

very end of everything else because like I said the flavor of the beef is strong

on this on top of that garlic flavor this is pretty awesome I can't really

say enough about it let me give you one more quick shot of the back of this one

here hopefully you can kind of see the char on the very ends of the burger here

it is noticeably different from what you're used to and like I said if you

guys know what McDonald's has been like all these years you're in for a treat

with the fresh beef version easily worth the weight and I am very much into this

burger by far definitely one of my favorites easily but as always that's

just my opinion what do you guys think are you guys super excited about fresh

beef here at McDonald's and if you are how excited are you to try this new

this one's gonna get already I'm gonna have to give the signature crafted

beef promise guys nice and juicy nice and beefy and then when you mix that

with all the garlic goodness that it's got loaded with this is an easy winner

right now highly recommend to give this one a shot and absolutely give that

fresh beef a shot it is highly worth your time and those are my thoughts um

one of the latest sandwiches here at McDonald's featuring 100% fresh beef as

Trying TONS of NEW Drugstore Makeup 😍 - Duration: 23:37.

I saw this and I hey guys and welcome back to my channel I'm so excited about

today's video because I went to Walmart last night and I was only like going

there to exchange a couple things but you know me I just kept looking through

every aisle and I did a little haul I did a little drugstore haul again and I

almost actually picked up an entire face of new products that I've never tried

before some of them I feel like are super new to the drugstore as well

someone might have been there for a while but I just had never heard really

much about them I've never tried them myself and so I'm gonna be doing like a

full face of all the new products that I purchased and I'm gonna be doing a

little wear test so we can see if we can discover any more new drugstore gems cuz

that's my favorite the only thing that I have is my brows right now I use the

covergirl micro-fine and defined pencil and the shade honey brown this is not

new to me I didn't find a new brow product so I just use what I have so

let's just go right into it I'm actually gonna start with complexion I was

recently sent these two primers from L'Oreal so I didn't pick these up but

they are new I haven't tried them and I wanted to use them in this tutorial they

are the L'Oreal infallible Matlock primer and then the infallible glow lock

primer I'm gonna use both of them today I'm gonna test out the mattifying primer

down the t-zone and then the glow primer on the rest of the face I'm just because

usually I get a little oily in the t-zone and I like the rest of my skin to

be a little bit Chloe so let's see how this will work I'm just gonna go ahead

and put a little bit of that on my hand it's a nice light pink color this is the

glow one first the glow lock primer and apply that to the sides of the face whoa

this feels like a lotion if he was like um like a really nice hydrating lotion

so that's that one let's put the mattifying primer down the t-zone I

should have opened this off camera I think I tried to open most of them so I

wouldn't be sitting here trying to get the seal off this looks a little

different than I expected I almost expected it to be more of a silicone it

looks like a lotion it's just not pink like the other one was so I'm gonna go

ahead and put this all down the t-zone this one does actually feel more

silicone based but not like the Porefessional or anything like that

where it's like pure silicone you just tell it there's a little bit in there

but it's not like too much we are primed I'm gonna let that sit for

a second I'm gonna go into foundation I kind of swatch it on the back of my hand

it looked a little bit dark I don't really know what I was thinking I should

have probably looked for a lighter shade that they had lighter shades but for

some reason this looked like it would match me in store we will see this is

the Revlon age defying 3x foundation I got the shade 20 tender beige I have

never seen anybody talk about this and I had personally never seen this at the

drugstore so I was like girl I gotta try this I used to love the Revlon

Photoready foundation like years ago I feel like they changed the formula and I

made it glittery because when I try it again it just was not cute so I'm gonna

go ahead and pump a little bit of this on the back of my hand I love it there's

a pump on this there's one fluid ounce and let's try it on one side with a

brush you know what this might work if it doesn't oxidize we can definitely

make this work so I'm just gonna go ahead and use a brush on one side of the

face they said it was a full coverage foundation on the display which made me

want to buy it as well because you guys know how much I really love full

coverage foundations I just personally reach for those most days because it's

less work for me since I do have a little bit of hyperpigmentation and some

blemishes it's just really quick for me to throw on a full coverage foundation

and not have to worry about it some days this is looking good I make sure to

blend it down the neck just in case it is slightly different than the rest of

my skin tone get a little bit on the eyelids I feel like that looks really

nice the coverage was good that's the side with the brush now let's go ahead

and apply it with a sponge I picked up the flower Beauty sponge I've heard so

much about this from so many different people and just haven't had a chance to

try it yet so I'm gonna put a little bit of the foundation all over my face pick

up the extra on the sponge and let's see how it applies with a sponge wow this is

so soft oh my gosh it's like really really fluffy using this sponge made the

foundation look a lot more skin like but as always I feel like it picked up some

of the product I got way more coverage using the brush so I would probably do

what I do with a lot of foundations with this foundation I love to apply it

initially with a brush all over the skin and then kind of Pat it out with the

sponge to get that really nice finish but you still get the coverage with the

brush first so me just stippling a little bit more

that over the problem areas added more coverage it builds up really nicely so

far so good I have the weirdest blemish here it's been so hard to cover I'm

gonna really blend it down the neck just with whatever's left on the brush

alright so that is foundation it actually looks really really nice I'm

excited to see how this wears throughout the day so let's move on to concealer I

was really excited to see these concealers I'm pretty sure they're new I

hadn't seen them they said on the display that they were Walmart exclusive

so if you haven't seen them around check your Walmart these are the L'Oreal

True Match super blendable concealers I love the L'Oreal I love L'Oreal True

Match products so I'm really excited about this I got two shades

I got fair w12 and fair w3 four I wanted to have two shades just in case so I

could try it out on blemishes and under the eyes so let's try this out all right

so I've got the product in the sponge applicator sponges are really cute I

like the size of this so I'm gonna take the light one first and I'm gonna see

how this covers blemishes it's supposed to be like a multi-use concealer so I'm

assuming that that means that you can use it on the skin as well as under the

eyes try to get this one here and I'm just gonna use it how I would normally

use it I'm gonna go ahead and Pat that out with a sponge versus using the

actual applicator tip that comes with it if you like that did a pretty good job

let's use the fair shade underneath the eyes I'm not really sure how much to use

or helpful coverage this is gonna be so I'm kinda gonna do the same thing where

I apply it and then blend it out with that sponge Wow I really like that if

you guys can see the difference the finish is super almost velvety looking

it's not super duper matte like drying matte but it's not shiny like oily but

there is a radiance to it too it's like the best of both worlds I really like

the finish of it I'm hoping that it will hold up well because so far I really

like this concealer it doesn't seem like there's that much product in the actual

applicator though which it was kind of more of an expensive product if I

remember so that could potentially be a downside depending on how fast I go

through this I don't really know I'm just taking what's left on the sponge

and blending it on the eyelid as well I'm also putting it down the center of

the face I really loved how easy it was to draw a line down the center of my

nose and then I'm just gonna blend that all out

the same sponge so that is how the complexion looks so far I think it looks

nice it's like the semi matte has kind of a natural finish and natural coverage

well natural looking coverage it's definitely more full coverage altogether

for powder I picked up this one from Milani

it's the translucent light to medium make it last setting powder it's

designed for light to medium skin tones there's a little turn dial in here which

is nice so you can kind of control how much product comes out with the

packaging which i think is a great idea so I've got a little bit in the lid I'm

gonna go ahead and set the under eyes with this first just using a little

brush and to make sure that it's not creased before I do that it actually

that concealers not really creasing that quickly and I'm just going to press this

underneath the eyes the powder feels really really fine really smoothing it's

not that brightening for under the eyes but so far I really like it I'm gonna go

ahead and use that same powder to set all over the face I like the way it

makes my skin feel a little bit of my blemishes are peeking through now I feel

like when I said it it kind of darkened the spots but that happens sometimes

with a lot of setting powders for me so just something that I noticed I'm not

mad at it I don't really care if there's a little bit that shows through let's go

ahead and move to bronzer I didn't actually pick up a new bronzer so I'm

just gonna go ahead and use my L'Oreal True Match Lumi

bronzer bronzer and let's just warm up the complexion with this I'm gonna put

it along the hairline under the cheekbones along the jaw line and down

the neck I really am liking how this bronzer is

blending over that finishing powder the setting powder sometimes this bronzer

can kind of stick to areas on my face so I have to always go over and like buff

out the edges just to make sure it's super blended but because of that powder

like I feel like it blends super nicely on top of it I'm just taking some of

that same bronzer and contouring the sides of the nose and underneath the lip

I'm just gonna take that translucent powder brush and buff over the nose I

always like to do that so it's not like too harsh of a contour for blush I have

seen these for years now they're from Maybelline they're the fit me blushes

and I just never picked any up and they reminded me so much of the Bobbie Brown

blushes which I've been loving but I really wanted to see if there would be a

potential dupe so I picked up two shades that kind of look like Bobby Brown

shades to me and I might layer them both I'm

start off with the shade 35 this one's called coral just a really pretty soft

coral shade not sure how pigmented these are so I'm just gonna start to kind of

layer this on the cheeks okay so it seems like it's really soft this one has

a little bit more of a sheen to it and the other blushes a little bit more of a

matte blush so I'm just gonna go ahead and apply this kind of all over the

cheek area all the way up toward the temples just to have a nice wash of

color and luminosity and then let's take the shade 25 this is pink I'm gonna use

this on just the apples of the cheeks kind of layer that over it these are

really soft they're not like extremely pigmented but I like how soft they are

because then you can really build them up to the level of blush that you like I

like kind of heavier blushes sometimes I think it makes the whole complexion look

more alive but if you're somebody who likes a more subtle blush I feel like

this formula so far at least is a little bit softer than something I've used

before so I like it it's soft and subtle and I love how many colors they have in

the range so let's go ahead and move to highlight I saw this and I had to pick

it up and it's so funny because while I was buying it yesterday kathleenlights

uploaded her favorites video and I washed it this morning and this was in

it I didn't even know like that she had used it before so this is the Milani

stellar lights highlighter palette in the shade Rose glow so so pretty I'm

probably gonna just dip into those two shades mainly so let's do that I'm just

gonna go like that maybe trying to take a little bit more of that lighter shade

and let's apply this to the cheeks oh well that is a very blinding oh whoa I'm

getting a little a little out of hand here okay that is so pretty what I like

to bring it toward the front of the cheeks for a little glow around the

brows a little above the brows Cupid's bow whoops gosh these are like pigmented

and very glowy I'm not used to that wow that is nice that is so pretty I'm gonna

put a little bit down the center of the nose oh my goodness what a glow before I

go into eyes I'm just gonna go ahead and touch up the brows really quickly and

now let's go into eye shadow I picked up this wet and wild palette it looked

really intriguing especially being from the drugstore because so major

sore palates I feel like at least a lot of them are neutral which I really like

and this is kind of a neutral but they do have really fun pops of color in here

there's a nice blue this was five dollars it's wet and wild it's they're

not a basic peach palette and I'm really excited to try it so let's go ahead and

see how this works I'm going to first set the eyelid with some of that same

Milani powder we used earlier just so that we have a nice base for our eye

shadows so first I'm gonna take this shade right here it says it's a

transition shade you'll see how well it shows up I'm just gonna go ahead and pop

that through the crease and a little bit above as our transition shade oh it is

kind of showing up it's really subtle but I kind of like that for a transition

yeah you can definitely see it it's just kind of like a topi color I've never

used this kind of a shade for a transition before but we're gonna work

with it well I have this shade I'm gonna actually run that along the lower lash

line as well just for some subtle definition there next I'm going to take

this second transition shade right here which is a little bit darker and warmer

than transition shades I've used before so I'm just gonna kind of buff this

through the crease again right over where we put that first transition shade

but I'm just gonna keep it a little bit lower I'm gonna take what's left on the

brush and run that on the lower lash line I'm gonna take the first brush we

used and just kind of blend them or both of those to make sure that the edges are

nice and blended out I'm actually adding more of that same shade to the outer

corner of the eye so now I'm gonna take this shade right here just on my finger

and I'm gonna dab this on the eyelid that's kind of a cool color so far I

feel like these eyeshadows are working well I don't know if I can say that I'm

like floored yet about them like I was with the Milani palette for example but

so far these are pretty good I'm gonna take that dark brown shade and I'm just

going to you know that's pretty pigmented I'm gonna use that to really

further define the outer third of the eye and crease wow that one is really

pigmented I was not expecting that and I'm gonna go back in with that shimmery

shade we had on the lid just because that was so pigmented I had to blend it

further in than I had planned I'm taking that original lighter transition shade

on that original brush and just dusting that on the top edges to really diffuse

it I'm really wanting to use this palette I'm not sure how it will look

with the look we have going on but I'm just gonna take it anyway yeah I'm

gonna buff this on the lower lash line it's definitely more of a subtle blue

I'm not really floored by the pigment of this blue but on the lower lash line I

kind of like the softness of it I'm gonna blend out the edges all right so

there's the eye shadows I feel like they worked they just weren't like SuperDuper

pigmented but you can definitely make them work you can definitely build them

up I'm excited to see how they wear so for mascara I'm gonna use the Maybelline

total temptation mascara this has been around for a while now

and every time I see it in the drugstore I just love the packaging so much so I

was like you know what I'm just gonna buy it we're gonna try it out here's

what the wand looks like I usually really like wands like this because it

means it will be volumizing so I think it's supposed to be a lengthening and

volumizing mascara which I'm into so let's go ahead and apply this to the top

and bottom lashes so here's this eye with the mascara on this eye does not

have it so far I'm noticing that it is a good mix between a lengthening and

volumizing mascara lengthening mascaras for me making my lashes super separated

super thin and really long obviously volumizing mascaras kind of make them a

little bit more clumpy this is like an in-between it gives you that kind of

separated length but with a little bit more volume than just a lengthening

mascara on its own so I'm just gonna put this on this eye as well I got a little

bit of mascara on the lid so while that dries I'm gonna go back into this Milani

palette and I'm gonna use this to highlight the inner corner of the eyes

I'm excited to see how this really light shade looks because it's so pigmented oh

my goodness I'm mixing the gold and the lighter shade and just applying that to

the inner corner and then I'm gonna take what's left on the brush and put it

right under the highest point of the brow I'm just taking a tissue and wiping

off foundation on the lips if we got any on there um and then I actually want to

set the brows I'm gonna give this Loreal brow stylist boost and set volumizing

brow mascara another whirl so I'm just gonna go ahead and apply this mmm that

did something weird just feel like there's a lot of product on that

applicator I really like the effect that it gives them there's not like heaps of

product on the applicator so I just need to remember that and like maybe wipe off

a little bit before I go in with it because it totally glopped right there

to try to fix that I don't know so now I'm going to apply

the Physicians Formula healthy lip velvet finish liquid lipstick these

aren't new to me I didn't pick up a new lip color I believe this one's in the

shade Coral minerals the label fell off of it so I will definitely link it in

the description but I'm pretty sure it's coral minerals so I want to add all

natural nude in the center I kind of want to combine these two so I get more

of like a nudie coral before I forget I'm gonna dust off the mascara marks and

last but not least I bought some setting sprays both of them are from flower

Beauty they're both the sealed the deal setting sprays this one is the

long-lasting matte finish setting spray this is the hydrating dewy finish

setting spray so I'm gonna kind of do the same thing that I did with the

primers I'm gonna do the hydrating spray on the outside of the face and then the

mattifying down the center so let's go ahead and spray the dewy finish spray

okay that's a fine mist we're just gonna spray it on the outer parts of the face

I really like the applicator on that it doesn't like squirt product out at you

and then let's do the center of the face with the matte finish okay that one

squirts a little bit I can feel it yeah oh dear alright you guys so this is a

completed makeup look I am going to be doing a wear test today here is the

before and after with no makeup and what the finished look looks like I'm really

excited to see how everything wears I didn't really have any major

disappointment yet I really liked the foundation the primer the concealer felt

really nice I really like the finished look the highlighters were beautiful the

eyeshadows were like they work obviously I loved how the look turned out but it

wasn't like my favorite eyeshadow formula of all time

it is currently 122 in the afternoon so I'm gonna be wearing this as long as

possible I will check in with you guys in just a

little bit and we will kind of do a little update on how everything is

holding up all right you guys I'm back it is now

9:30 p.m. let's take a close look at the makeup shall we so the foundation to be

honest it hasn't really separated or budged or anything like that I will say

at around five o'clock I had such an oily t-zone it's been so long since I've

had that oily of a t-zone I'm thinking what may have happened is

when I piled on like the mattifying primer and then I sealed the whole thing

with the mattifying setting spray I think that a lot of times I've noticed

in the past as well if I use too many mattifying products and if my skin isn't

hydrated enough underneath those products sometimes my skin kind of

overcompensates and starts producing a lot more oil than usual because it feels

restricted from all the mattifying things that I put on it so I think

that's kind of what happened around five-30 I went out to dinner with my

husband and I was so oily that I did touch up a little bit with the Milani

translucent powder it seemed to really nicely absorb everything I didn't touch

it up after that I went did the one time through the t-zone cuz I was looking

really really oily I looked up a little more information on this foundation here

this Revlon age-defying foundation on line it's kind of marketed as a more

hydrating foundation which makes a lot of sense so it could also be a

combination of that it's super super hydrating it definitely looks really

glowy it looks really dewy it did get a little greasy to me in my

t-zone but I think if you are a dry skinned and you have a hard time finding

really hydrating foundations this might be a good one for you because it really

has worn super super well for several hours like I said before there's not

that much separating there's not creasing I have a little bit of creasing

in the smile lines here but it's actually not as bad as some other

foundations crease on me around the nose sometimes gets a little strange with

foundations and that one kind of did but it's really not that bad I feel like

overall it was a really good pretty long wearing foundation I forgot to mention

it also has an SPF of 20 in it so if you're somebody who likes sunscreen in

your foundation that might be a plus for you the concealer I really liked as well

things have stayed pretty matte underneath the eyes my blemishes have

stayed pretty concealed as well there's a couple that are kind of coming through

but I do sometimes touch my chin and things like that so sometimes the

foundation can rub off in those areas but it's actually looking pretty darn

good the eyeshadows you guys I wanted to mention that in like this lighting and

super bright lighting I was kind of like you know the eyeshadows are good but I

don't know if I'm obsessed with them kind of thing but in more light

normal lighting and natural lighting and more dim lighting there's like these

really gorgeous you can kind of see them in this light but it's actually prettier

in different lighting but there's these really gorgeous like gold glitter flakes

and it's beautiful that shade from the wet and wild palette this one that I

used right here I'm really loving it so this was not initially a favorite of

mine just because the application wasn't like something that blew me away but I

have really enjoyed the uniqueness of that eye shadow and it's worn for hours

so I don't really have anything bad to say about this even though I thought

that like maybe I would by the end of the day I really don't actually the

highlight is really gorgeous and if you like as I wore throughout the day it

just looked more and more dewy and more and more natural which I really like so

I'm so excited about this Milani palette the mascara to me looks really nice it

didn't flake or anything underneath the eyes which is something that I like to

look for so that was a plus I feel like it's kind of just like another mascara

to me I feel like it's a good mascara so if you're in need of one and you like

how this looks I would recommend it but I feel like right now I'm gravitating

toward that covergirl one that I used in my last video and a L'Oreal lash

paradise mascara if we're talking like drugstore mascaras so the flower Beauty

sponge was great I really liked that I'm excited to keep using it the flower

Beauty sealed the deal setting sprays the mattifying one didn't seem to work

very well this time around but again I think that's because I overdid the

mattifying products in the t-zone and my skin freaked the dewy setting sprays

what I have on the rest of my face and I do feel like maybe that's what's helped

it lasts really long I I don't know the makeup seems to look really nice in

those areas and that's also where I put the infallible glow lock primer on so

I'm definitely gonna keep playing with these and see how it works with other

foundations and more like foundations that I'm more familiar with just to kind

of see if it's the foundation that's lasting longer or if it's those two in

conjunction with the foundation that's making it look really nice oh yeah the

blush is okay the coral blush I thought it was really pretty but I feel like I

have blushes that are super similar to this like the found Beauty illuminating

blush kind of did the same thing for me also my L'Oreal blush I do think it was

pretty though on the skin I do like the number 25 the pink one a little bit more

just because that's more of a matte blush and I'm just gonna like the matte

bright pink vibe it's very Bobby Brown and I feel like I would reach for this

one more than this one just because I have a lot that give this exact same

effect I also didn't touch up my lip color at all I know it doesn't look

super amazing but look at how well it faded over hours and hours over several

meals several snacks love these lip colors those aren't new to me I've used

them for several months now but they're really really great oh the powder the

powder I really have like the powder like I said before when I dusted it over

the t-zone it really seemed to do a nice job of getting rid of oils I'll show you

guys right now what I did because I just kind of like to show you sometimes how

it looks if you were to touch this up throughout the day so I'm just gonna

kind of dust that over the t-zone do you see how well that works but the thing

that I liked about it is how finely milled it is so it really just soaks up

the oils but lets it still look like skin it just kind of freshens up the

makeup so just for reference I'm now gonna do a before and after from when I

first apply the makeup to now when I just freshly touched it up so you guys

can kind of see how it were throughout the day and how it looks after I've

touched it up in comparison to the very beginning of the day I felt like I had

actually a really successful haul again I feel like I have a lot of successful

hauls at the drugstore these days and I love it I can't wait to keep finding
