hi everyone Aaron here for ZolloTech and this is the Xiaomi mi box s. Xiaomi
was nice enough to send me out to New York City to take a look at some of
their products with an event and this one was pretty impressive this is a 4k
HDR set-top box that runs android TV but only comes in at about $40 at least in
the united states it is available around the world but let's go ahead and take a
look at what's in the box and set it up and see how it all works so here's the
box it says 'my box asks 4k Ultra HD set-top box and then it says free HDMI
cable three thousand-plus apps on this side is his three-step setup HDMI
attach mi box to TV connect to the Internet and then start streaming on the
back you'll see it says it's a dolby digital DTS 2.0 + digital out it's got
chromecast built-in Google assistant built-in 4k Ultra HD plus HDR and then
it's got a quad-core CPU with a 3 plus 2 core GPU and then it shows what comes in
the box on this side so let's go ahead and open it up and here is the me box
itself we'll set this aside in just a moment here and take a look at that and
here we have some paperwork me box and I think this is just a quick setup and
then we have important product information there's one more here and it
says Terms and policies so let's set that aside inside we've got an HDMI
cable we have our power adapter and we've got a remote and a couple
batteries in there for the actual remote let me set this aside and we'll take a
closer look at the box itself so here is the me box and you can see it's
incredibly thin and then on the back we have our power plug USB a HDMI and audio
out this is also an optical audio I hope and noting around the side
and if we compare that to another popular 4k HDR box you'll see it's less
than half the size so it's pretty impressive if I put it on top here
you'll see it's even smaller this way as well so that's pretty impressive how
small this is in comparison so in this little box we can do 4k HDR so let's
connect it to the television and I'll set it up so we can take a closer look
once you have your me box set up you'll have this as your home screen and what
you have here at the top is all of your different apps from left to right you
can add a favorite go back over to your apps and then if we go down you'll see
there's play next Netflix HBO now trending featured and Google set all of
this up based on when I signed in I actually don't even have ESPN but it
installed it by itself so it's just something that it sets up for default
and then you can remove these later now if we go back up to the top we have our
apps now you do have an app button on the remote you can just hit that and get
to the same thing you can get more apps get more games so maybe you have a Plex
server something like that you have the option
to install things like Plex or whatever you'd like so that you can stream all of
your content if we go back home with this button we can use Google assistant
at the top now we can use our voice click to speak or we can use the actual
keyboard I'll use voice and I'll search for one of my youtube videos pixel 3xl
December update you'll see it finds my video there we can go through the other
ones as well and then we'll just click to play and you'll see this as my video
started to play pretty quickly it hasn't hiccup and it's in 4k so that
part's really nice now the other thing it has 4k HDR and if you have an HDR
television this will work great on that and I've only recorded one HDR video but
let's take a look at it Apple watch review 4k HDR you'll see it finds my
review I'll click on it to play and if you have an HDR television you'll be
able to see it in HDR if not it'll still look pretty good but it won't be
vibrant or the darks won't be as dark so it looks pretty good overall we go back
home you'll see it's nice and fast now this is an Android TV but it also has
chromecast built in so if we set the remote down we'll go over to my pixel
3xl and we can go to youtube and I'm already on my channel we've got the
chromecast button here will cast to me box 4 that's this one it's already
connected and then we can just play the latest video and it will play on the me
box so you can use it as a chromecast if you don't have one of those as well so
it's really nice and it plays pretty quickly and of course you've got all of
your controls on-screen if you want to just jump around the video and you'll
see it takes a moment to resume and it works pretty well so we'll stop that
stop casting and then back on the remote we have volume controls and then we also
have a live button if you have live TV set up a Netflix button and your
microphone and a power off button so it's pretty simple and straightforward
and it's really fast for just this tiny little box but it has 4k HDR and that's
probably the best thing about it and also if you have Google playing movies
and things like that you'll be able to play those as well
and music and everything else so that's it for the Xiaomi me box s let me know
what you think about it in the comments below I think it's pretty impressive for
the price and it's pretty incredible how thin it is as well if you haven't
subscribed already please subscribe and like as always thanks for watching I'll
see you next time

How the Saudis ended up with so many American weapons - Duration: 10:15.
On August 9, 2018 a fighter jet dropped a bomb on this street in Dahyan, Yemen.
It exploded here, near a busy marketplace.
Killing 40 children on a school bus.
The plane was from a coalition led by Saudi Arabia.
They have conducted thousands of airstrikes in Yemen since 2015 - many aimed at civilian targets.
This is the bomb.
And this photo, reportedly taken after the attack, shows that the serial number - 94271
- corresponds to a 500-pound laser-guided bomb built by the Lockheed Martin corporation.
It was made in the United States.
In fact, most of Saudi Arabia's weapons are.
The US is the biggest arms dealer in the world - and Saudi Arabia is its number one customer.
For nearly 75 years, the two countries have been strategic allies — trying to keep
the Middle East stable for their own benefit.
But today, the Middle East has fallen apart.
And Saudi Arabia has been using US weapons to make it worse.
So why does the US sell Saudi Arabia so many weapons…
and will it ever stop?
In 1938, a lot of it was discovered in the new country of Saudi Arabia.
"For here are more proved and readily accessible reserves
than in all of North and South America together."
In 1945, US President Franklin Roosevelt made a deal with the Saudi King AbdulAziz al-Saud:
The Saudis would provide the US with a safe, reliable source of oil and in exchange, the
US would support and protect the Saudis.
This was at a time when the US was making other alliances in the Middle East.
"Oil, however. Together with its strategic location, it has made this area important in world affairs."
But at first, US arms sales to their allies in the Middle East were limited.
The US hoped fewer weapons
would mean less conflict and therefore a steady supply of oil.
But that didn't last for long.
War broke out between Israel and these Arab States.
in 1967.
This put the US in an awkward situation - it had allies on both sides.
The US ultimately decided to sell fighter jets to Israel to give them an advantage over
the Arab states.
But war broke out again six years later.
This time, the US sent thousands of tons of arms to Israel .
This outraged the Arab allies, including Saudi Arabia.
So they struck back.
"The oil producing countries of the Arab world decided to use their oil as a political weapon."
These Arab states cut-off oil supplies to the US to protest their support of Israel...
And it caused a crisis.
The price of oil nearly quadrupled in the US.
The cut-off ended several months later when the US brokered a peace deal between Israel and Egypt.
But to help rebuild its relationship with its Arab allies, the US decided to sell
them weapons.
And the Saudis were particularly eager to buy.
By the 1970s, oil profits had made Saudi Arabia's monarchy extraordinarily rich - and they could
afford to buy a range of advanced weapons.
Between 1970 and '76, US sales to Saudi Arabia skyrocketed.
In the meantime just across the Gulf, Iran had emerged as
another extremely strategic ally to the US.
Like Saudi Arabia, it was a large, oil-rich country.
But more importantly, it shared this long border with the Soviet Union - America's
primary enemy during the Cold War.
So, President Nixon said the US would ""sell Iran virtually any conventional weapons it
wanted."
Together, Saudi Arabia and Iran became America's Twin Pillars in the Middle East.
For the US, selling them guns, bombs, planes, and tanks was a way to prevent the Soviets
from entering the Middle East, and protect the oil supply.
And having these countries rely on American weapons gave the US important leverage to
dictate how and when they were used.
It was also an important sign of trust and support between allies.
US arms came with years of training and maintenance, so each weapons deal with Saudi Arabia, for
example, was a long-term commitment to work together.
This would prove to be important because Saudi Arabia and the US would soon have to rely
even more on each other…
In 1979, the Islamic revolution overthrew the pro-US Shah of Iran who was replaced by
a religious leader; Ayatollah Khomeini.
Suddenly, one of the America's twin pillars turned on it.
The new Iran was ambitious and extremely anti-American.
While armed with $9B worth of American-made
weapons.
And it was also the enemy of Saudi Arabia.
Each saw itself as the leader of the muslim world; and started competing for influence
in the Middle East.
So Saudi Arabia continued to want more weapons and the US continued to sell them.
In the meantime, the Soviet Union, which had been developing its own alliances in the Middle East
for decades, started selling advanced weapons to countries like Iraq and Syria.
At this point a full-scale arms race was taking place in the Middle East, and Saudi Arabia
was the biggest buyer thanks to the US.
"I do not think it contributes towards achieving peace in the Middle East.
And therefore I think this arms sale should be disapproved."
These sales sparked fierce debates in the US.
Like on June 5, 1986 when President Ronald Reagan supported the sale of 2,500 missiles
to Saudi Arabia:
"Our proposed arms sales to Saudi Arabia will increase the Saudi's ability to withstand
the threat from radical Arab states."
Many in Congress were skeptical about selling more weapons in the name of defense...
"Over the past 30 years , the US has sold over 50 billion dollars worth
of military weapons and services to the Saudis.
More than we've sold to any nation on Earth.
Where are the reciprocal acts of friendship?"
Reagan argued that the arms sales were an important part of the alliance.
"We have had for more than 40 years now, a relationship and an agreement,
mutual security agreement, with the Saudi Arabians.
And it has been beneficial to both of us."
He insisted that it was important that the US be the ones to sell weapons to Saudi Arabia…
"First of all, look, they're gonna have arms, whether we do it or not.
But when they have them from us, there are restrictions on their use of them; and that they
are restricted to using them defensively.
Or then there are things that we will do."
"It is not a very valid argument, but I can use the same argument on drugs out in the street.
If I don't sell drugs to someone, someone else will.
The question is not whether someone else will, the question is whether it's right."
Congress pushed for some changes to the deal before ultimately approving the sale.
In fact, Congress would never fully block a foreign arms sale.
Over the next 20 years, the strength of the US-Saudi alliance would waiver,
but their reliance on each other never quite stopped.
The Soviet threat vanished when the country collapsed in 1991.
But Iraq under Saddam Hussein emerged as a new threat to both Saudi Arabia and the US.
So the Saudis went all out.
In 1993, the US and Saudi Arabia agreed on a record number of arms sales.
But arms sales decreased during the late 1990s and hit rock-bottom after the 9/11 attacks
- 15 of the 19 hijackers were Saudi citizens.
Two years later, the US launched a war in Iraq and threw the Middle East into chaos.
It turned to Saudi Arabia as a partner and
arms sales started increasing again.
Over the next decade, the Middle East continued to fall apart...
And Iran took advantage of the chaos by supporting militant groups in Lebanon, Syria, and Iraq
- turning these conflicts into proxy wars.
To the US, this is Iran destabilizing the Middle East, but to the Saudis, this is
Iran closing in on them.
So Saudi Arabia started using its weapons - aggressively.
Along with a coalition of allies, Saudi Arabia intervened in a civil war in Yemen's civil war in 2015.
The Saudis claimed they wanted to restore the government, but only made the conflict worse.
Iran stepped in to support the rebels, turning Yemen into a proxy war.
The Saudi's aggressive tactics have created the worst humanitarian
crisis in the world.
Out of nearly 16,000 airstrikes since 2015, the Saudi-coalition has hit civilian targets
a third of the time.
Most estimates put the civilian death toll well over 10,000.
The UN has found that many of the civilian attacks were intentional
and could be considered war crimes.
The problem is the US has continued to sell arms to Saudi Arabia this whole time.
In fact, the Obama Administration approved the most arms sales to the Saudis in US history.
These included not just new weapons, but also replacements for weapons used or damaged in
Yemen.
Including this bomb: likely sold to Saudi Arabia in 2015 and dropped on a school bus
in 2018.
"$3 billion dollars, $533 million dollars, $525 million dollars.
That's peanuts for you."
While the Trump administration focuses on the economic benefits of selling weapons, it
misses the real point: Decades of arming Saudi Arabia was supposed
to give the US some leverage over it.
But that's clearly not working.
Saudi Arabia's leader - Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is accused of ordering the brutal
murder of a US-based journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
And it's sparked historic resistance to the US-Saudi relationship…
"I will not support arms sales until all responsible
for the death of Mr. Khashoggi have been brought to justice."
And I will no longer support the war in Yemen as constructed."
"The bombing of a school bus full of children and other civilian targets
is not something I want America's fingerprints on."
So will the US actually stop selling weapons to Saudi Arabia?
It's a difficult question. The Middle East is more unstable than ever.
After 75 years, Saudi Arabia and the US still need each other.
But it's clearly not a trustworthy alliance anymore.

We Had a Fire (here's what we're going to do) - Duration: 6:03.
This week my family had a horrible thing happen.
My parents' home was destroyed by fire. Total loss.
And I've been hearing from my friends and from family and from strangers:.
What can I do to help? How can I help?
And the answer is always, whatever you can, whatever is easy, whatever is comfortable, whatever makes sense.
Do what you're good at, but just do something.
Anything that you can do is received with with love and with warmth.
So we have this little platform.
Something like 7,000 YouTube subscribers and 16,000 Instagram
and a few thousand on our e-mail list, and, how can I help?
I don't want to ask for your donations or your money.
I'm not comfortable even asking for the sale, for you to buy a Vitamix.
But here's what I'll tell you.
Among all the things that were lost in this accident,
the thing that is going to be missed the most, we lost a couple of pets and we'll miss them a lot. We loved them.
But what we can't get back is the photos and the videos that were lost.
My parents didn't have anything backed up into the cloud.
So here's what we're going to do. I want you to help yourself.
And. Maybe. We'll.
I've partnered with three different cloud-based backup services.
And when you sign up for a free trial we get a little bit of a commission.
All those affiliate earnings are going to go to help my parents
and everyone that was living at their house recover.
So it's going to cost you nothing.
I don't want to ask you to do anything
but do something to help yourself in the event that something like this happens.
You'll have your stuff backed up. You can feel a little good this holiday season.
Or whenever you watch this video,
whenever you see that you're doing something to help someone rebuild their lives.
Go sign up for a trial or just get signed up to back up your data your photos
your videos phone your computer your extra hard drive.
And, yeah...
I wanted to show you I forgot to bring it... here, I'm going to go get it.
You know I have a little bit of video from from the evening, from the night that it happened
and I have some of the aftermath of the destruction.
But I don't think anyone wants to see that.
It doesn't help anyone. It doesn't help me or you.
But I want to show you this. This something that one of the firefighters gave me.
This is all that made it out. These keys can you see this?
We'll put our links to the backup services.
You have three different options. We've researched them all and they're all top-of-the-line. You can pick.
Use one of our links to sign up for a free trial or just sign up for the service.
Do that now. Go back up your stuff, your photos, your videos, your computer.
There's links in the description, in the comments, on our website.

A turbulent business life the most successful of modern time
Entrepreneur Elon Musk and centuries ago
Based on the Simulation Theory of many of us he has come to his ear.
Simulation theory from a simulation of the universe it is consisted of and the perception of reality
is a theory that does not.
Today, again by Elon Musk brought to the agenda.
So this theory is trying to tell us what and the theory of human boundaries
What is actually?
If you like our video you like to like with friends share and stay informed about new videos
Remember to subscribe to our channel to become.
Let's start now O
Environmental conditions and space are being configured.
Artificial ultra-intelligence is being integrated.
Scenario is being created.
simulating human and universe program
From the concept of simulation in the computer field here
The purpose of simulation is from certain limits. Talking about.
A simple level simulation program more than 3 dimensional and generally 2 dimensional
the time-coded time-axis For us the perception of reality and depth
vaccination is a limitation.
Specifically, reason simulation fiction
out of the reality even some super computers
this is a pre-warning error.
So these limits exist in real life Do you?
The answer to this question is completely physics and mathematics are the rules.
So some mechanical and electrical phenomena modeling and explaining
we use some constants.
For example dielectric coefficient, gravitation index, pi constant etc.
The main reason for these constants to be fixed ease of operation
is not a mini-law that cannot be changed.
The speed of light was constant at all times and periodic The value has never changed according to the changes.
Similarly the number of Avagadro in the world the same value of all time and all over
while maintaining similar shape on the Planck constant no play could be done and this fixed
just waiting to be discovered.
What do we get if we cross the borders?
The answer to this question is the owner of the theory Even Elon Musk doesn't exactly know.
Because the perception of human perception even under normal conditions There are some events left out.
Most simply, some frequency of the human ear cannot hear the ranges or the universe is still
discovered that the size of the 7 only 5 dimensions are detected
like having eyesight.
Şekil Simulation limits ülasyon are likewise it needs a different explanation.
If the basics are laid with scientific explanations genius
and the new modern-age technology weapon It looks like it's going to push our "boundaries."
Simulation hypothesis for the first time at Oxford University Nick Bostrom, the Swedish philosopher
Published in 2003 with an article put forward.
The argument is based on the very advanced level of the universe by a civilization with technology
may be a coded simulation it suggests.
This argument is one of the following Accuracy is based on:
(1) Generation of humanity to a high-level technology will run out before you reach.
(2) Has reached the top level technology civilization simulates our evolutionary history
will not be interested.
(3) N is almost certainly a computer simulation we live in it.
Based on these three articles, Nick Bostrom he proposed this proposition:
One day will make simulation of ancestors to a post-human level
there is a serious chance that we will the belief is only currently in a simulation
It's wrong if we don't live.
Many science fiction works as well as technology experts and future scientists,
the enormous degree of computer power in the future that it will be available.
These estimates are correct for a moment Let.
Next generation with super-power computers the only thing they can do with their ancestors
detailed simulations similar to ancestors or They can run.
This simulation is that people are conscious Let's think.
Thus, the original of minds similar to ours rather than
simulated by descendants of the original species may occur.
If this was a matter of lawsuit, the original biodiversity
We are among simulated minds would be more logical to defend.
Therefore, if in a simulation if we do not believe that we live
have descendants to run the simulation We cannot believe that we will.
That's what we have to think about the main issue.
The widespread assumption of philosophy of mind Substrate-Independence (substrate-independence or physical
independence) 't.
Substrate-Independence Developed by philosopher Nick Bostrom
is one of the main ideas.
Physical independence is simple, logical but it is a deep idea.
This idea of mental states also many types of digital substructures
advocates that it can be placed.
Conscious, intelligent, self-aware Individual organic, silicon or magnetic brain
independently from the physical structure It can be placed.
A system, digital structures and processes conscious experiences
may be associated with.
But this is the carbon in the skull based on biological neural networks
A necessary feature of applied consciousness Not available: Silicone available in Computer
built-in processors in principle illusion Can.
In short, the simulations we assume, fully silicone-based brain
sensory activities in their own virtual worlds living beings.
At the current technological stage, with computers enough to create conscious minds
have powerful hardware and software We're not.
But convincing arguments are that these deficiencies are
reveals that over time it will be overcome.
Some authors only a few to this stage It claims that it can be reached after ten years.
But the current goals are about the time scale. does not require any assumptions.
Simulation argument, human, present physical laws, materials and energy restrictions
technological capabilities consistent with at a time when most of the civilization
to reach the 'human' stage hundreds of thousands of years
the thought remains weak.
Such a mature stage of technological development planets and other astronomical resources
transforming into massive powerful computers will make it possible.
At this stage of post-human civilizations computer power to allow
sure of any upper limit on Of course it is difficult.
Since there is still no 'theory of everything', this unique physical phenomenon, the physical available
these limits are not to support theories overlook
We should not.
Our current perception of a substance nodule accessible information
can be imposed to the theoretical boundaries through.
We can only trust you with greater confidence. assuming an agreed mechanism
a lower limit for post-human processes We can create.
For example; Eric Drexler 1021 instructions per second Can realize (cooler and power
sugar cube designed a system.
Another author of 1042 operations per second gave a rough prediction.
If we could create quantum computers or outside of nuclear material or placement
if we could learn to do computer theoretical we could be very close to the limits.
Seth Lloyd executed over 1031 bits per second 5 * 1050 logical operation of 1kg computer
has calculated the upper limit for.
However, the present principles of design use a more conservative estimate
it will be enough for you.
Needed to mimic a human mind The amount of processing power is likewise roughly
predictable.
An estimate of a piece of neural tissue multiplication of the functionality of replication
how much it will cost relies on the whole human brain per second
about 1014 operations.
An alternative estimate, the number of synapses in the brain and their firing frequency
and about 1016-1017 operations per second Data.
Possibly, if snapses and dendritic the internal workings of the trees in detail
if we want to simulate we need more It will be.
Memory is more challenging than processing power it appears to be a constraint.
What's more, maximum human sense bandwidth 108 bits per second because all
simulation of emotional events negligence compared to (cortex-based) activity
it may incur a cost.
So it simulates the central nervous system The process power required to
estimation We can use it as.
If the environment is in a simulation, normal with simulated environment of man
to interact in humanitarian ways, any irregularities do not notice and
required to create simulated people extra computer power for all kinds of things
You will need.
How comprehensive and detailed the simulations are depending on the whole universe quantum
the level of simulation is clearly it is impossible, of course a new
unless physics is discovered fizik
But realistic simulation of human experiences to get less is needed.
The inner microscopic structure of the Earth safely It can be skipped.
Remote astronomical objects are highly compressed representations: a real image
to achieve our planet or space the features we can observe from our vehicle
the narrow strip will need to be expanded.
Through an electron microscope you see something should not look skeptical but
he is often invisible to the microscopic world to verify the inconsistency with parts
There is no way.
We can verify independently known principles for obtaining results
uncontrollable to keep things under control
intentionally design a system of course, exceptions will arise.
A pragmatic example of this is the computer.
Simulation so that the computers are individual Logic elements continuously up to the level
may require.
This will not be a problem because current computer power after human
standards can be ignored.
Moreover, a human post simulator, always involved in all human brains
for monitoring of detailed beliefs will have enough computer power.
Thus, the microscopic world of a man Seeing you're about to observe,
on appropriate basis on appropriate basis The simulation is sufficiently detailed
It can fill.
If any error occurs, the administrator abnormality with ease
edit the state of the brain.
Alternatively, the administrator can rewind and prevent the problem
restarts the simulation.
Therefore, neuronal and lower neuronal levels simulated organic brain
distinguish from physical reality for human mind can not be created in simulations
The basic transaction costs seem reasonable.
Realistic simulation of human history a very accurate estimate of the cost required for
a rough estimate with approximately 1033 - 1036 operations
We can use.
We experience more with virtual reality As you win, such worlds
to make operational requirements more realistic we will be more foundations.
But in any case, a few of our predictions overrun
in the case of a problem for our argument It will not occur.
We are a computer of planetary mass With a rough approach of processing power
1042 operations per second and this is only already known and
nano-technological designs assume.
One million in computing power for less than one
the mental history of all mankind using can simulate.
A post-human mindset is ultimately this astronomical
can build.
We can conclude that the current calculation power, just a minute of resources
divide it is enough to run simulations.
A big mistake in all of our guesses even if we leave share, we can reach this conclusion again.
We've all been stolen in your ear. that the film does not only consist of fiction;
Matrix is a system.
A system in our enemy.
you look around when you enter
What you see is teachers, businessmen and lawyers.
the people we want to save are their own minds.
but until they do, these people are still part of the system.
and so they are our enemies.
you have to understand
these people are not yet ready to be rescued
we do not know the research continues and the results of these investigations
as a reflection of the Matrix trilogy He was taken.
I don't think there is an unfair expectation It.
Artificially generated consciousness in film, electromagnetic
He was talking about a universe created by waves.
The film created a simulated universe, And that universe was kept under control.
Just like in theory.
If the universe is simulated, this is the center of What?
I think we have come to the deepest part of this issue.
Let's say this theory is true and a civilization We are another civilization simulated by.
After a while we have another civilization. We have simulated and they are also part of our
passed.
We come to the conclusion that a simulated civilization as we, simulate another civilization
in the civilization that simulates us, simulation of another civilization.
This event creates an infinite hierarchical loop.
And who is it that simulates the whole universe?
That this world is a game world God?
Living in a corner of the universe, the entire universe simulated the most advanced civilization?
Otherwise, we are people who are completely evolutionary And are we alone in this universe?
We've come to the end of a video.

VFD Maintenance made easy - WEG VFD CFW300 - Duration: 3:46.
taking care of your wegs cfw 300 drive is easy just replace the fan
periodically reform the capacitors and do the regular periodic inspections to
replace the fan pop the old one out drop a new one in
now it's recommended that the family replaced every 40 thousand hours of
runtime under normal conditions and your mileage
may vary depending on your environment now that's fan run time not drive run
time when the fan run time exceeds 50 thousand hours the drive will generate a
177 alarm reminding you to replace the fan you can see the current fan runtime
in parameter 45 that's a hex number so it can give to a hexadecimal 4 s which
is a little over 65,000 hours once you've replaced the fan reset the fan
time that's shown in parameter 45 by going to parameter 204 and entering a 13
now if we go back to parameter 45 we see our fan time is now zero perfect one
thing to be aware of is the fan time shown in parameter 45 is only updated
when a drive is power cycled that's because normally you would only want to
check it during your regular maintenance schedule so don't expect to see
parameter 45 update each hour on the LCD while the drive runs perimeter 352
allows you to control how the fan operates so you can turn it off always
have it on or just let that drive decide when it needs to be on which is the
default and probably what you want to be using maintaining the drives capacitors
is crucial to preventing premature failure and it's easy if your drive
hasn't had power applied in over a year then just apply whatever power your
drive would normally expect for at least an hour then disconnect the drive from
the power source and let it sit for at least 24 hours before using it now why
is this important well a capacitor is basically two metal
plates with an opposing charge the charges are kept separate from each
other by an insulating layer the electrolytic capacitors in a drive
typically use a paper soaked in an electrolytic solution when the
electrolyte is kept charged it forms an oxide layer on the anode plate and it's
that oxide layer that serves as the insulator between the two metal plates
if the electrolyte isn't kept charged the oxide layer degre
which means the two metal plates aren't very well insulated from each other and
you ultimately get something very close to a short-circuit so now when you apply
power to the drive current passes straight through the capacitor causing
everything in here really hot which boils the electrolyte burns up the metal
plates and causes the electrolytic capacitor to explode which not only
destroys the capacitor but all the stuff around it too because the gases and
chemicals that are released are caustic so if your drives been sitting for a
while roughly a year or so please take the
time to reform the capacitors by the way it's called reforming the capacitors
because you're literally reforming that oxide layer by applying voltage in a
controlled manner now what about that drive you just got from the factory does
it need to be reformed well it certainly can't hurt but the
easiest way to tell is to look at the label the code right here is the week
and the year the drive was manufactured so if it's been a year since the drives
manufactured then you'll definitely want to reform the capacitors and finally
every six months inspect the items listed in table 6.3 of the drives user
manual the manual even has step by step procedures for cleaning the ventilation
system and the circuit cards well that's about it for drive maintenance click

Chelsea Team News: Injuries, suspensions and line-up vs Brighton at Stamford Bridge - Duration: 5:12.
The Blues are under some pressure after losing two of their last three league games, as they welcome the champions to west London recovered from a bad run of form after their impressive 2-0 win against the champions at Stamford Bridge, but Maurizio Sarri will be keen to avoid complacency against
The Italian has repeatedly complained of a 'strange mentality' and 'lack of determination' from his players and was most angry with his team's performance in an away defeat to
He is keen to capitalise on the win over Man City, to win against teams outside the top six but Chris Hughton's side will be tough opposition due to their impressive start to the season sitting in mid-table
Chelsea have rested a host of players due to a dead rubber mid-week clash against MOL Vidi
The likes of Eden Hazard, N'Golo Kante, Kepa Arrizabalaga, Antonio Rudiger and Cesar Azpilicueta were all left at home
Three other players stayed in due to physical problems including Mateo Kovacic, who appeared to get a thigh strain and came off against Man City
Sarri also said that fringe players Victor Moses and Gary Cahill were left out of the last game due to injury
Cahill may see limited game time until the end of December and Sarri comfirmed in his pre-match press conference that a January move looks likely for the former England international
I respect him very much because he has won everything with this club," Sarri told reporters
I have to do my job.Every match, I have to choose. For me, he is not able to [be] on the bench
Maybe he is the best in the box, but our defenders may play 100 or 110 balls in a match so I need very technical defenders
On the possibility of Cahill leaving, he added: "It is not my decision, but it is up to him and the club
Chelsea have no players suspended for the match but Shane Duffy is out for Brighton
N'Golo Kante, Alvaro Morata, Jorginho and Antonio Rudiger have the most bookings this season for the Blues, with three apiece
Chelsea rested a whole host of stars in the 2-1 Europa League win over MOL Vidi in Budapest and they are now likely to start XI different players against Brighton
Sarri has prioritised the Premier League over the European group stage this season, after the Blues got a fairly easy group and won it with two games to spare
Chelsea have made fewer changes in the Premier League than any other team in the league, except for Wolves
They will play their strongest possible line up in the away trip to the Amex Stadium
Kovacic's injury may see either Ruben Loftus-Cheek or Ross Barkley come in to replace him after he started last weekend
Club-record signing Alireza Jahanbakhsh looks likely to be absent and has missed the last five matches for Brighton
José Izquierdo is a doubt after picking up a knock. The match at Stamford Bridge kicks off at 1:30pm GMT (8:30pm ET) on Saturday but it won't be shown on TV in the UK
Chelsea have won each of their six games against Brighton in league competitions; their best 100% record against a single opponent in league history
Brighton are looking for their first victory against Chelsea in any competition since January 1933, when they won 2-1 in an third-round tie
Brighton have lost just one of their last 10 home Premier League games (W5 D4).However, 80% of their home defeats in the competition have been against 'big six' opposition (4/5)
While only Wolves (18) have used fewer players in the Premier League than Chelsea this season (20), no side has had more different goalscorers than the Blues (12)
A league-high 60% of players to play for Chelsea in the Premier League this season have scored
Chelsea's Eden Hazard has provided an assist in each of his last three Premier League games (4 assists in total)
He's never assisted a goal in four consecutive games in the competition before, with Cesc Fabregas in September 2014 the last player to do so for Chelsea

Definitely subscriber to our channel if you haven't already.
If you appreciate this video and if you want to give my folks a virtual hug.
Thank you so much for watching. We will see you in the next one.

My Current Daily Makeup in Cantonese (廣東話) - Duration: 16:52.
Hey everyone!
Welcome back to my channel!
So today is going to be a language kind of video
it's gunna be an updated version of my daily
or my everyday makeup routine but it's gunna be in Cantonese
or at least in my broken Cantonese
so, I saw a video from Hayley Bui I believe, idk, I think that's her channel name in my
recommended
and she was doing her everyday makeup routine in Vietnamese
so I wanted to do mine in Cantonese, so thank you for the inspiration
I will link her video in the description box down below!
Anyways I don't want this intro part to be too too long
I wanna get started speaking the cantonese
but I do want to put a disclaimer
I am not very fluent, I understand it very well
but speaking wise, my vocabulary is awful and my sentence structure might be off
and my pronunciation might be off, so anyways let's get started
also I forgot to mention, there will be many cuts in between because I will stumble upon
my words, so yeaaahhh
Hello everyone!
Today I want to share with you guys my daily makeup routine
I just washed my face, but I still haven't applied toner (ENG)
how do you say it in cantonese?
toner?
the one I'm currently using is Thayer's Witch Hazel
this is really good to use
this isn't a regular witch hazel, because in it has aloe
how do you say aloe in Cantonese???!!!????
Now I'm using Klair's vitamin C
use, 1, 2, 3, 4
when you apply it to your face, it will make your face red
Because right now in Canada, it's very cold and dry,
my skin is also very dry, especially this part, my nose, it will have lots of dry skin
I have to do exfoliation
how do you say exfoliation????
i don't know LOL
so right now I'm using the Hada Labo... what is it?
Hyaluronic Acid
This helps to draw moisture into your skin
Now I will be using a face oil and moisturizer
The face oil I'm using is Boscia's Tsubaki Beauty Oil
I used this since a while back
I usually only use this during the winter time
because in the summer, I produce more oil, so i don't need to use so much (oil)
When my skin is more dry, I would use this :)
Today I will use a little bit of Klair's rich moist soothing cream
this is think is nice to use, especially for daytime
for night time, i like to use the belif...
what is it called?
belif true rich moisturizing bomb
i use this much
and add a little bit of the oil
three drops of face oil is enough
and like this, mix it up
if you're really dry, you can apply more layers
but I feel, because this area is normal and only this part (nose) is dry AND oily...
more oil will come out if it's too DRY
but now I'm putting more (cream) here, my skin won't produce as much oil
I think my skin lately has been pretty good, I won't breakout as often.. maybe because
I'm now 24..
LOL
I don't get as many pimples
THANK GOODNESS
Now I'm using innisfree's eye cream
this is the jeju orchid one, the flavour (lol) is really good!~
The Cantonese I speak isn't very accurate and correct LMAO
Now using the Klairs airy uv essence
I have now finished applying my skincare la
my skin looks like it has a very bright quality/feel to it
but now i will apply my concealer and powder
lately i don't really like to wear or apply a lot of foundation
because i like my natural complexion to show through to everyone LOLOL (?????)
I really think my skin right now isn't that bad, it's just this area has some redness
and I have dark eye circles heh
I'm just going to be using a little bit of foundation
I'm using my most loved fenty beauty foundation
this is the pro filt'r
the colour/shade i'm using is 140
this video is very casual, i'm SOOO sorry
the amount i use is very little, see?
look!
like this, that's it!
the way i use it is... wait, i need to move my mirror here
so how i use it is, put it on my ring finger and dot, dot, dot, dot
onto the areas of my face where it's red
and use my fingers to spread it out
blend blend~~
if i need more coverage, i will use my concealer
by doing this, you will notice your skin looks very natural
if you have a lot of pigmentation, you can use more foundation
but for myself, i'm okay now
lately, i don't really like the cakey feel lol
probably need to add a little bit more to my
nose area because it's still very red
if you can still see some red, that's okay! we're gunna add some powder foundation on
top later
next step is using loreal's true match concealer
the colour i'm using is w 1-2-3
apply it to dark eye circles
and also a little bit to my chin because i want to cover some redness that's on my chin
and a little here
that's it
you can use your fingers or you can use a brush
i want to use a brush
immediately after applying concealer, use a loose powder
the loose powder i'm using is this airspun
coty?
coty airspun's loose face powder
this is a colourless one, it's a translucent powder
use a smaller brush
this is perfect for the eye area
put a little on the nose, the mouth, the chin
now using this fit me powder
the colour i'm using is 120
this is my winter shade
this is 220, it's my summer shade
see?
winter... summer
if i go outside and tan, i'll be this colour
and if it's winter and i don't tan, i will use this colour
take the brush and press
how do you say press (in canto)?
press, press... that word sounds very aggressive
press into your skin
dab dab dab dab
don't do a circular motion
how do you can circular motion in canto?
don't draw circles on your face,
drawing circles will ruin all your work by pushing it away
when i speak cantonese, it really sounds like a kids speaking LOL
wherever you have more redness and discoloration on our face
you can do this.. slowly add more powdered foundation
i really like my natural skin to show through, because before I would always wear really
thick foundation by doing that my skin looked very dry and
unnatural
i like my skin to have a bright quality
finished applying powdered foundation, i'm going to be using this blush
blush? is it blush?
this is lipstick, this is blush right?
or is it blush (an older way to say blush lolol)
i said it right!! it's blush :)
the one I'm using is the majolica majorica puff de cheek
the colour is pk 301
this is my favourite, it's a natural colour
i will use a LOT
now i'll be using a highlighter
how do you say highlighter????????????
the one i'm using is fenty beauty's mean money and hustla baby killawatt duo
i will be using this one
this is called hustla baby
the name is very cute
i really want to buy the one that's called "how many carats", that highlighter for body
and face
because that one is "CARAT" LOL
it's white and very fine and thin (smooth) feeling
oh my gawd
oh my gawd (in mandarin)
it's like a very healthy feeling/look
now using a clean brush, like this.. blend
"oh i just finished exercising!"
i want to draw my eyebrows very naturally because my eyebrows are very thick right now
i'm very LAZY, i don't like grooming my brows
the eyebrow pencil i'm using is innisfree's auto eyebrow pencil
the colour/shade is #5 espresso brown
today I will be using this "lucky puppy" shadow from... where did i buy this?
i bought it from etude house, it's a gold colour, very sparkly, very pretty
if you don't have a brush then it's okay, because this colour is lighter but if you're
using a darker eyeshadow
i highly recommend you use a brush
but you can use your fingers to apply to your eyes
when applying glittery/sparkly eyeshadows, you should use a very flat brush like this
it should be more stiff and sturdy
now i'm gunna draw on eyeliner on my upper waterline
this is the nyx pencil liner
i'm putting it on my waterline
because i want this makeup look to be more natural
i drew it from the inner corner to the outer eye
this is optional but if you want you eyes to look bigger
like this, slowly, carefully draw a tail outwards
now curl the eyelashes
the one i'm using is bought from the face shop, very cheap, good to use
one is gold and one is...
is this silver (in canto)?
silver is 銀色
silver in cantonese
silver! i'm right!! see?
*rolls eyes*
if your eyes are really flat like mine, using this silver one is better
because it's not as curved, it's flat, very flat
the traditional eyelash curler will stick out more
like a "U"
the "U" will be like this
but this one, is flatter! it's better for Asian people to use!
the mascara I'm using today is the
face shop's seed curl mascara, this is the 03 long lash
for the past 3 months?
no the past 2 months, i was using a eyelash serum
my eyelashes have been getting longer, idk if you guys can see it but it is longer
if i apply some mascara you can see it
this side versus this side
this side looks like there isn't many lashes, but this side, i applied a little mascara
you can see~~
okay almost done! this is the second last (step)
this is my favourite nose contouring powder
this actually is an eyebrow powder, but this colour is the best for nose contour
when you apply contour, it should be applied like two lines but you have to BLEND!
LAST STEP is applying lip colour
lately i have been liking this tint stick and what is it?
VDL's glim and glow... lustre... brilliant...
WHAT IS THIS called??? it's a lip fluid..
if your lips are very dry i would recommend using this one first
they add a little colour in it, looks very natural!
but i want to use this today, because it has more colour
it makes you looks more awake, the feeling is like "more awake"
omg my CANTONESE
like this, the makeup is done!! right now i have to brush my hair because I haven't
brushed my hair yet
i don't wash my hair for one day, see?
my hair will produce a lot of oil ;;
lately I like using body shop's bamboo brush, i bought it off amazon
if you have very dry... no, not dry, VERY OILY type scalp, I recommend you use a wooden
or bamboo brush to brush
to distribute, how do you say distribute?
anyways to distribute the natural hair oils
if you've been brushing back an forth but your hair is still oily, the method is to
use dry shampoo!
my fave is pantene's
if you buy it at the drugstore it's very cheap
after you have massaged it in, use your brush to brush it out
here, look, it's more dry, not so oily now
now done with hair and applying makeup, this is my final look!
i think it's very natural looking! it's cause i'm LAZY
i don't like to apply very heavy makeup everyday
if i'm going out or meeting friends i would wear more makeup, but this i think it's okay.
can see people like this LOL

10 Mansions That No One Wants To Buy!! - Duration: 10:47.
From houses formally owned by celebrities to wildly haunted mansions...stay tuned to
number 1 to find out the 10 mansions that nobody wants to buy!
Number 10: 50 Cent Mansion.
No, this is not a mansion that is actually worth 50 cents (though if one was, I'm sure
people who suspect that something was wrong with it), rather, this is a mansion that was
owned by legendary rapper 50 Cent.
Found in Farmington, Connecticut, the mansion itself went onto the market in 2015, and 50
Cent put it on sale for a whopping $18.5 million dollars.
Then, when he had bankruptcy issues, he lowered it to $8.5 million, then under $6 million,
where it's been since that drop.
Granted, this is a house that only millionaires can afford, but surely there is some other
reason for the house to not be sold.
And there is, mainly...it's big, like really big.
Like so big that it has: "21 bedrooms, 25 bathrooms, an indoor pool and hot tub, a substantial
night club, an indoor court, multiple game rooms, a green screen room, and a recording
studio," So even if you were interested, you'd have
to be the kind of person who would want said things, and that kind of restricts the pool
of people.
Plus, who needs 21 bedrooms in a single mansion?
That's kind of...you know...elaborate...to say the least.
Looks like 50 Cent won't make a dime on this!
...get it?
Cause it's money...I'll move on...
Number 9: Golden Gate Glamour.
In San Francisco, there are many homes, and just about all of them are expensive, which
is why the city is one of the hardest places to live in and stay in.
But for one mansion, they push this stereotype over the top.
Because this mansion is priced at about $30 million dollars, and that's a lot of change
for a single house.
Sure, the house is elegant enough, it's 16,000 square feet, 7 bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, with
lots of amenities.
But unless you're a person who NEEDS this kind of house for a specific reason, you can
find a better way to spend $30 million.
Number 8: Steve Cohen's Mansion.
Before we talk about this elaborate mansion, take a moment to like this video and join
the Zero2Hero community by using the buttons below!
Speaking of WAY too expensive, let's talk about Steve Cohen, who for some reason can't
find a buyer for his skyward mansion in Manhattan.
Technically, it's a penthouse duplex of sorts, but yeah, it's a mansion.
It's certainly has the size of a mansion, and the price of one too, currently priced
at the small number of $57.5 million dollars.
And that's after several price reductions, he once wanted 9 figures for the mansion.
The main problem with this one though isn't price, or even space, it's location.
This is a mansion that has you viewing all of New York in all of its glory from the peak
of the sky, that's not for everyone.
Plus, while the place is spacious, it was kind of built for Cohen's tastes, which is
why he has an art gallery.
So what he really needs is someone like him to buy it.
Good luck with that.
Number 7: The Stone Sanctuary.
Price is a big issue when it comes to buying a house, but another is looks.
So for this mansion in Alpine, New Jersey, it's kind of a big warning.
Not that it's bad, but it's very distinct.
The property is actually owned by the Frick family, who were wealthy because of their
steel business.
But the house itself is made of stone in such a way that it kind of looks like an ancient
castle.
Not to mention that the layout of the mansion isn't one that is standard in most people's
eyes.
Sure, it's got a pool, and a tennis court and a massive garage.
But if you're looking for a more simple kind of mansion (and yes, mansion can be simple),
this isn't one that you'll want.
Plus, the $40 million dollar price tag doesn't help either.
Number 6: Palazzo di Amore.
Beverly Hills...that's where I want to be!
Except for the fact that this infamous mansion called Palazzo di Amore has been taken on
and off the listings chart because it's way too expensive, even for someone who lives
in Beverly Hills.
How much do they want?
Well, $129 million dollars.
Exactly, let's move on.
Number 5: Michael Jordan's Mansion.
Ok, I'll admit, I'm amazed that someone decided to buy the mansion of Michael Jordan.
You know, the greatest basketball player of all time?
Quiet Lebron fans!
I'm talking about THE #23 here.
To be fair, it honestly makes a little sense that people wouldn't want the home.
First off, it was built to Jordan's liking, complete with gates at the front that have
"23" on them.
It also has a workout room, home theater, and more.
Plus, because it's in Chicago, you're going to have to have a reason to be in Chicago,
which not everyone has.
Some people actually avoid Chicago because of its crazy traffic, and I can't blame them
for not wanting to be close to that.
Number 4: The Lewis Mansion.
Here is a mansion that has all the makings of a good home.
It's well crafted, it has much historical significance, it's in a good neighborhood,
and even is on a street called "Pleasant Avenue".
So, if you're looking to buy this mansion in Bayside Long Island, you're going to get
a heck of a deal, for the mansion is only $10.
Which...is part of the reason that no one is buying it, because they suspect foul play.
Like a haunting or something of the like.
To be honest, it's not haunted, but it cursed...by a land deal.
You see, this house used to be owned by a famous athlete turned FBI agent Aubrey Lewis.
When he passed, the country bought the house so they could do some expansion by tearing
it down and making 8 new houses in the area.
But, a historical society stepped in and made them promise not to keep the house.
They agreed to the terms.
Wherein lies the problem.
Because that deal was made, another deal was made for the land.
So that whoever truly owns the house is actually required to move the WHOLE HOUSE off the property,
because they technically don't own it.
If you're curious, moving a house of that size?
Not easy, or cheap, nor is buying a plot of land that would be able to fit it.
So thus, no one wants it.
Number 3: S.K. Pierce Mansion.
If we're really going to boil it down here, there are a few concrete reasons for a mansion
to not be bought.
1) It's not the buyers style.
2) The price is too much.
3) There's something about the house that isn't worth the risk in buying it.
And 4) It's haunted.
For the S.K. Pierce Mansion, it's the latter option that keeps it from being bought.
The house itself can be found in Massachusetts, and its price is only $329,000.
You might think this is expensive for a mansion, but given that it's got 10+ rooms, 3 bathrooms
and more, it's actually dirt cheap for a mansion.
But because it's considered one of the most haunted places in New England, it's not listed
as a "desirable" place to live.
Why is it haunted?
Well, it may have to do with the fact that since 1875 when the mansion was built, 7 people
were lost their lives in the house, including a few confirmed murders.
That's a good deterrent.
But just as good is that the apparent "spirits" of these people are said to roam the halls
and rooms of this mansion.
So much so, in fact, that people have said to have seen fallen servants, children, and
more roaming through the place even though no one lives there.
This place is so haunted that it's even been featured in many paranormal TV shows.
Number 2: The $1 House.
To be fair, this technically isn't a mansion, it's just a regular house.
However, when it comes to this house, its history and current state make it one that
no one will likely ever want.
The house itself can be found in Hercules, near San Francisco, California.
The house was actually bought by the country for a simple $1.
No strings attached.
It was their original intention to fix up the house for a bit and then use it as a visitors
center, of sorts, to their city.
A very noble idea.
But, as many things sometimes do, it didn't end that way.
For the city realized it couldn't do what it wanted to with the house, so, they put
it back on the market.
From a certain angle, this would appear to be the deal of a lifetime.
A $1 home?
It's perfect, right?
Well, not from the front view of the house, where you'll clearly see that someone actually
split the house in half.
Like completely, and fully, and utterly.
Confused?
Well, this was the cities doing.
They had started the renovations, but couldn't finish them, and splitting the house in half
was part of their "renovations".
Thus, if you were to buy this house, you'd have to fix it yourselves somehow.
This is likely why the house is still up for sale, and also why it won't be fixed up anytime
soon if past history is to be judged.
Take a tip kids, be sure to check out the home before you buy it.
Number 1: Winchester Mansion.
Let me tell you a story.
It's about a man named Winchester, well, his last name was Winchester that is.
His first name was William, and he was the creator of one of the most legendary rifles
in the history of the world: The Winchester Rifle.
This was the gun that helped tame the wild west, and helped bring a new age of rifle
that could be felt in impact for generations to come.
Now, let me tell you about William's wife, Sarah.
Who felt a much different emotion with the guns that her husband was selling.
You see, she was told by a fortune teller that the guns that her husband was making
and getting a fortune from were going to curse her.
Mainly, by having her by haunted by the spirits of people that were being killed by them.
Afraid for her life, Sarah decided to build an overly elaborate mansion, one that would
have thousands of windows, doors, and hundreds of rooms.
All with the purpose of keeping her away from the spirits that were haunting her.
This house was built for many years, and Sarah passed away soon after it was completed.
Technically, the house is owned by someone, but not to live in.
Rather, it's used as a tourist destination so that people can see first-hand how far
Sarah went to keep her "location" a secret from the ghosts.
Some actually feel it's still haunted by those spirits.
What do you think about these mansions?
Any that you're planning to buy?
Let us know in the comments below and...take care!

Crystal Gallery Sydney MindBodySpirit Festival - Duration: 2:01.
- Hi everyone, I'm Jess from Mineralism.
I'm down here at the MBS festival in Darling Harbour.
It's free entry this year which is excellent.
You would just have to sign up online and get in for free
and come check out the crystal gallery.
It's the first year we've ever done it this year
and we have some beautiful specimens on display from
a lot of the different crystal dealers that are
exhibiting here at the festival.
You can come and have a look at these beautiful large
specimens such as this large Pyrite
which is coming in from Peru.
These cubic formations have not been carved.
They are completely natural and this piece
is a whopping almost 50 kilos.
In the next cabinet we have some beautiful pieces.
If you're a fan of crystals, you know that Larimar
can be difficult to come by and that's because
it's only from one place in the world
and that's the Dominican Republic.
But we do have a large piece on display as you can see.
We also have some beautiful Titanium Quartz,
Hematite over Quartz, Rhodochrosite,
Cobalt Calcite from Morocco which is just gorgeous.
We have some beautiful pieces from the Himalayan region
as well such as this Super Seven that you have
on the left-hand side.
Now Super Seven is an amazing stone.
It's fantastic because it has seven different minerals
growing inside of it and these are ideal
for a complete Chakra balance.
Also amazing if you're doing an spiritual work.
So any spiritual practitioners out there should really
get their hands on some Super Seven.
We also have some amazing Ganesha carvings out of
Labradorite, also some Fluorite.
So there are some remarkable pieces on display.
The other exhibitors have also put some beautiful
pieces on display and we have some larger pieces
on display as well such as this beautiful Himalayan Quarts.
You can come and check out our booth, we're at F12.
We have a lot of crystals, not just rare specimens,
but pieces for your collection, pieces that you
can carry with you, and also display pieces for the home.

Water Meter 101 For Homeowners | Plumbing Basics |The Expert Plumber - Duration: 5:36.
Do you know how a water meter works? In this video we're gonna talk about how a
water meter works and we're gonna do it in 10 seconds. Hi I'm Roger Wakefield,
LEED AP, The Expert Plumber, welcome back to another great video. If you've not
been here before and you want to learn all things plumbing as a homeowner, a
real estate investor, or a new homebuyer, please hit the subscribe button now and
ring the bell so you don't miss out on anything. How
does a water meter work? It's really not very complicated. A water meter just
measures water. The way it does it, the water actually comes in the bottom half
of the meter and actually displaces a disk and makes it move around and when
it moves around it's got a little rod that sticks up, that wobbles, that turns
the meter, that turns the dial that meters your water. I know that sounds
pretty simple and really it is. But the neat thing about a water meter is as a
homeowner it's easy for you to tell if you have leaks or not. And it's easy for
you to check to see if your water meter is working accurately. And the reason I
say that is in my part of town there's always somebody on one of the apps
talking about their water meters not working. They got charged a lot of money
and they don't think things are right. There's some great products coming out
and I'll put some links down below to some of them. Meter Dog coming out is one
that you can actually as a homeowner purchase, hook up to where it reads your
meter or read your meter reading and you actually can look at an app on your
phone and see how much water usage you're using. Now when that water goes in
and displaces the disk it makes it wobble and makes the magnet turn and all
the funny things it does, then it goes up to the register on top and that's what
makes your dial turn, and when you could watch that dial turn, the little bitty
dial, the little one that sometimes you see spinning and moving, that is a low
flow indicator. Now it's good that that's on there,
because you as a homeowner can go out and open your meter and look at it and
see if you're losing any water. Do you have a leak in your house? And that's
important because if that meter is turning and you're not using anything
inside the house, that's your meters way of letting you understand that you've
got a leak somewhere. Now there's multiple ways to test it, but
right now we're gonna talk about the meter. So if you want to learn, figure out
how to test it, watch some of the other videos or even leave us a comment down
below and let us know that that's something that you want to learn about.
So your meter has a shutoff valve on one end, it's got a threaded connection, it's
got the meter body, and then it's got a threaded connection headed towards your
house. Any leak after the meter, so that threaded connection, is your
responsibility. Any leak after the meter is all yours. So if it leaks anywhere
from there, all the way up to your house, it's your valve box or wherever that's
your responsibility. Now if it leaks from the body of the meter, or it leaks from
the threads on the inlet side of the meter, or if it's even leaking at the
valve or before it, that is all the responsibility of the city. So what you
need to look at is a homeowner and the things you need to understand is how
that meter works. Watch the dial turn, watch the big arrow indicator that
slowly spins around. One thing that I really like to do is get a five gallon
bucket, hook it up, and turn on the water and watch it and watch how many times
that little flow flow indicator spins, and watch how far that big one moves. The
big one may not move very far depending on one zero or two zeros and also is
your meter reading gallons or is your meter reading cubic feet. I think most of
them around here these days read gallons. But it's a good thing to look at and
know and understand to make sure that you know what it is you're looking at. If
you think you've got a problem with your meter, always do a five gallon bucket
test first. If you can prove to yourself that your meter
is or isn't working it's going to be easier to have that conversation. Or
prove it to whatever city or municipality that you live in. So what I
recommend is open your meter, look at it, maybe even take a picture of it. If you
can get somebody to stand there and run the video camera while you do a five
gallon test, you can actually slow it down and count and see how many times
that low flow indicator turns or if the big arrow turns and you can see how far
it turns. So those are good things to do to help you understand your meter and
how it works. Because if you run it and your meter reads a crazy number and you
know you only ran five gallons through, then you know that there's a problem and
you can talk to them about. Thank you for watching I hope you enjoyed the video. If
you did, please give us a thumbs up or even if you didn't, let us know in the
comments down below what we can do or what videos we can make that you'd like
to see. Please check out some of the other videos here on The Expert Plumber,
and if you hadn't done it yet hit the subscribe button and ring the bell so
you don't miss out on anything and we'll see you on the next video if
you don't get flushed.

Sewing Placemats Vlogmas Day 14 - Duration: 10:09.
I'm going to show you how to sew Christmas placemats. Hi guys today is day 14 of
vlogmas where every single day for the next 24 days I'm going to post a video
all about sewing inspiration for Christmas you may know who this designer is or you
may not she is called tula pink and I actually
met her not so long ago and she does so much fun and quirky fabrics so I'm going to
create fussy cutting for my placemats. So if you're not a quilter just hang around
and you'll show you what I mean I'm going to take one of my designs here
and I'm just going to cut it like a quarter of an inch from this part of the design
because I need a quarter of an inch seam allowance so i'm just going to cut this off
here like so and I'm going to do this all the way around I'm just going to cut a
quarter of an inch from the actual design I'm doing this from my ruler
there we go see I've got this a little bit too short but when you're doing it
just make sure that you're just a quarter of an inch away from wherever
the design is that you want to finish from here you go here's a quarter of an inch
here and here we go here's my first one now i'v going to do that with the other four
and just coming to my last goose here now I like to create my own placemats my
own designs I really don't like following any particular pattern I just
like make it up as I go along everybody has a placemat on their table you've got
the dimensions you've got the sizes just be a little bit creative you can do
whatever you want. So here are my pieces i've pretty much squared them all up so they
more or less are the same size and now I'm just going to start piecing around these
pieces and create some placemats I am literally going to be completely
spontaneous and building in my placement. So i'm at my sewing
machine I have mr. goose and we are going to sew. Guys you can't mess it
the only thing that I would recommend when you are improvising with your
sewing is really think about your color choice , think about what colors work
together and honestly from there you can't go wrong so this is how we're
looking so far and I know it's not quite wide enough to be a placemat so we are
just going to extend we're going to grab our red fabric and we are going to put
that to these sides here and we're just going to make up the size of a placement
it's really that simple all quilting is when you think about
it it's just geometric shapes and a little bit of math and you have yourself a
quilt or whatever you want to make now here is the top of my placemat now we
haven't finished just yet we're going to get out the walking foot I'm going to start
doing something like some design with red on this place mat so I created a
quilt sandwich like so and we need to draw the bobbin thread up because we don't
want a mess on the underside. So l bobbin thread pulled up there we go (get
off my foot) and I have some fancy variegated thread no not sparkly but just
a plain variegated now let's go to town
I'm doing just a turn now I'm going this way I'm going to go all the way to the
end and then I'm going to stitch in the ditch a little bit and I'm going to turn
around come all the way back down again well not all the way we are going to stop in that
centre of portion
like so I'm just going to turn around here and go this way
and I just go all the way and stitch in the ditch and turn around and then come all the way back this way
you see what I'm doing here. its all about just being fearless
just go ahead and do something so I went around the center of this border doing
another straight stitch and I'm thinking I may just put the hopping foot on
let's do some free motion meandering so I've drawn up my bobbin thread. It needs to be up
or you're going to get nesting on the other side and trust me it
doesn't look nice and I have my needle in the down position I've set everything
up for free motion quilting and so my feed dogs are dropped I am now just
going to start doing a meander so I've just started here so my meander is going to be
really small and I am just going to do these blue bits I am not going to do the
goose I am not going to do this like leafy bit I'm just going to go in them blue bits
there you go. So I am just going to work on my next section now I can't go across him
so I am just going to do a couple of stitches here just to lock everybody in
place and I'm going to move the needle to my next position
I literally just don't want to go over the prints because they are just too
cute so I am just highlighting
my backgrounds
so here we are we're pretty much finished all I need to do is cut the
sides off and put binding on it. So let me give you a little bit of a
closer look of the three motion quilting there and here's what the back looks
like all that's left to do is to put binding around your place mat if you
don't know how to do this you should see something scrolling it on the top of
your screen right now and if you don't I will put a link in the description of
this video so I have chosen this wavy stitch in order to put my binding in
place like so I am just finishing off here this is pretty much at the end
so what I want you to get from this is just play with all of the settings on
your machine and experiment have fun with it and here we go here is our
finished Christmas placemats how cool is that and I literally just created the
design as you were watching me and you have so much fun piecing just little
bits of fabric never throw them away because you can create some really neat
looking things I'd like to thank you so much for watching and don't forget to
hit that subscribe button so you don't miss seeing my next video thank you bye

by potatoes
it costs 70NTD
I have found the second dish
which is a little bit expensive
but I think it's worth giving a try
I'll record how they make it
it looks like in the photo
I'm waiting for the dish
It smells attractive
I already spent 70NTD
plus 270NTD
equals 340
I still have 310 left
I'll find another one
I have bought three dishes
and I still have 160NTD left
the first dish is
the one I show you : korean hot dog
It's popular in Korean and Vietnam too
the second one is
look, so much cheese
I'm a big fan of cheese
it's bread
inside has beef and cheese
the third one is familiar
It's tokbokki
Now im gonna try it
To avoid the food getting cold
maybe i'm gonna try the bread first
so big
should i use hands or chopsticks
super big
still hot
cheesy
what a happy feeling after a starving
they put some kinds of vegetables inside
to serve with beef
I don't really like these kinds of vegetables
but cheese is good and served with beef
makes a great combination
and it's so big
as you just saw, they made by a special tool
so the beef is quite soft
cheese is also ripe
so aromatic
actually, they already gave me a little bit to try
i think it's good
this tokbokki is more spicy than
those I tried in Vietnam
tok is soft
but the more spicy it is, the more I want to eat
eating spicy in this weather is so great
It's so delicious that i don't even want to try the next one
this one costs 150NTD
equals more than 100kVND
In Vietnam you can find the cheaper tok and better taste
this one is the cheapest
70NTD equals around 50kVND
the flour is mixed with small potato slices
wraps the sausage inside
they have two kinds of sauce
the other one is the yellow sauce
which is American mustard sauce
I don''t like it so I told them not to add it
I just like the fried batter outside
so I keep eating it
because I think the flour inside is oily
and the sausage is so-so
In general, among the dishes, I like tokbokki best
maybe because of my preference
about the cheese beef bread
it's big
it's somewhat new
but the price is high
I bought with 270NTD
equals about 200kVND already
and the hot dog I think you can try
but it's not special to me
I'm eating 3 dishes alone
I ate like a horse
everyone's like wtf she ate a lot
now i'm super full
although I still have 160NTD left
I'm thinking what should I buy now
because I'm so full
I think if you come here, you only need
1 person maybe 300NTD is enough
if you can eat much
500NTD is enough
the food here is more expensive than that in Vietnam
I think the reason is
exchange rate
and this festival is held in department store
its costs include location rental
A lot of challenges like this
they do as a group
so the amount of money must be higher
I'd like to ask you guys to save 160NTD
in order to buy some necessities
rather than spending on food
because I'm already full and still have food left
I think I already gained weight
even though I went to the gym yesterday
so hope that you guys would be understanding
this food festival just takes place until next week
so who's in Tainan and wish to come
please check the address in description below
omg, all of my effort yesterday has gone
I'm super full, my stomach's getting bigger
in case you might not know,
shinkong is one of the biggest department store in Taiwan
and Tainan too
They provide a variety of brands here
lots of choices
now is the season change time
almost new year
people's shopping a lot
because of the sales and discount
I have just told you guys and now I'm in stores to shop
lots of cute clothes
winter clothes are on sale now
but the weather in Tainan is not as cold as i expected
It's not cold at all despite December now
I resist shopping temptation
because my purpose of going here
is to buy the battery
so as to advoid running out of battery situation
to have better vlogs
Mind is asking her dad for the new game
Honestly, I'm jealous of her sometimes
since she's indulged by her father
her dad sends the money every month
then she can splurge
Compared to me, it's hard to find a job here
the money received is not enough for the rent
so I can not move out of dorm now
I'm so sad hic
but it's Ok
I have to be independent and find a job
then moving out
I was talking without ceasing for a while
but actually the challenge I want to record today is completed
thank you for watching til the end

How To Make Money While Eating Healthy Foods - Duration: 11:05.
Hey guys it's John Kevitz from Acquire Liberty thanks for spending your time here today.
Today I have an app or slash website for you that's gonna help you save money and
eat right at the same time if you don't like having you know GMO foods and
non-organic stuff and you're you're all about non GMO and organic and you know
staying away from the pesticides and you really care about what you're what
you're consuming and what you're putting in your body this app is gonna help you
not only save money but eat properly you need healthy and which I really think is
phenomenal it's another way to encourage yourself to spend the time to get good
foods that's gonna and this is gonna help you save money at the same time and
actually did another video a couple weeks ago in relation to this video with
a different app and what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna put that up in the right upper
right hand corner of the YouTube video for ya and you click on that watch that
video too and they kind of work in conjunction with each other so you could
save a lot more money using both apps instead of just the one
alright guys but before we get into that I want you to subscribe to my youtube
channel click on the little Bell notifications every time I make an
upload you'll get to see it first and remember if you want to no longer trade
time for money okay if you want to work from home full time if you want to
generate a passive income meaning is set something else you set something up once
you let it work for you whether it's 2:00 a.m. in the morning you're on
vacation you at the park taking a walk right in your backyard doing some work
on the lawn it doesn't matter you can still generate income and that's the key
to success and time freedom folks if you want that watch that free video below
watch it join today and if you join today I'm
gonna give you over two thousand dollars worth of free bonuses if you get started
today okay folks alright well how do you further adieu let's get started and the
website slash app I have for you today is called Makenna dot-com now this app
goes in conjunction with an app or website I showed you a couple weeks ago
maybe even a couple months ago at this point I'm not sure it's that was called
berry cart okay and basically what these apps
do is they save you money when you want to get really good foods for yourself
because we all know how expensive non-gmo and organic foods are when
you're going to the store I don't care if you're going to your local Wegmans or
your giant or a MP or mr. Z's or Price Chopper ever the case may be whatever
store you have locally you know what you want to get those kind of foods you're
paying an arm and a leg okay very cart and Mackenna are apps that you can put
on your phone that will help save you money we're not talking a little money
we're talking a lot of money depending on how much you want to purchase okay so
this is a great opportunity now that basically it says it's this simple you
don't sign up on the website you sign up on the app so basically right here what
do you do you download the app you put it on your phone and then what you do
when you get the app is basically it gives you a shopping list of items that
are associated with that app and you click off what you want to purchase when
you get to the store of your choosing now a little caveat here for both
McKenna calm or the app and berry cart calm they're probably only a select few
stores in your area that will provide you with these products that are in
conjunction with these two apps because we all know that most stores still sell
mostly junk right we know they sell the pesticides the high fructose corn syrup
corn syrups do they they don't care about non GMO why because most people
don't care they don't know or they can't afford that kind of food right so
basically they want sales so they don't care about stocking huge amounts of non
GMO and organic foods but because the market is you know calling for it and is
wanting it there are certain stores like your Wegmans associated with Walmart
your giant stores and whatnot and I'm sure you have some local grocery stores
in your area that are associated with you know organic foods or non-gmo foods
look for those stores in these apps locally for yourself and then so the
store will be settled for you and then after the store is set in the app you
make your checklist of products and items that are in that store that are
Ganic and associated with these two apps you could do it ahead of time while
you're at home and as soon as you what you would do then as soon as you get to
the store you go right to those apps right and as
soon as you purchased what you're going to do is scan those products because you
know even bananas apples whatever the case may be there's always UPC code
somewhere on those things you scan them while you're in the apps for either one
of these proper either one of these apps and then the app actually records the
fact that you have okay you don't have one Apple or two apples or three apples
or four apples and it's record it and that what you do is you go pay for it
and then once it's recorded in your phone what they will want you to do is
either scan those products with that UPC or take a picture of the receipt I'm
sorry they want to scan you already skinned it they're gonna want you to
either scan the receipt the UPC bar at the top if it's available at the story
right or they will want you to take a photograph of the receipt and send it to
them as soon as that's confirmed you will get paid in either your PayPal or
venmo account now I always promote PayPal PayPal
PayPal because it's the easiest one it's the easiest one to you know work it's
easy what easiest one to set up with your bank account so if you want to do
that I would highly recommend using PayPal I always do I wish I could get an
affiliate link for that because I probably make it a fortune at this point
because I promote PayPal so much but let's take a little bit of a look at a
few things here I want to show you now the first thing I want to show you every
was always wondering okay well how much can I make if I purchase you know
organic onions or fresh organic strawberries or fresh organic
blueberries fresh organic bananas this is what you're going to be saving or
what you're going to be getting paid if you're using the mckenna app now now
berry cart is a little different okay but it's in the video watch the video
like I said I'll put it up in the cart up in the operating corner of YouTube so
this is the kind of money that you'd be saving now this actually starts to toast
to add up right now this is where it gets interesting now for any of you who
are experimental want to try new things that are organic or non-gmo here this is
where it gets interesting you got wild Zoro one dollar you have three dollars
here you have a dollar here 50 Cent's here $25
or dollar so you can have a little bit of an experimentation with these
products right and be saving money and seeing what you like and what you don't
like and I think that's the key if you're someone who really cares about
what you're consuming what you're taking into your body
okay now that'll give you an idea how much money you're going to save or how
much you're going to get paid it can save right
now this is the Google Store or Google Play Store app page and I wanted to show
you this is what it looks like okay that's what the main app looks like
right you pay you click on that then you have your redeem this is your shopping
list right here and so if you want to reuse your shopping list right there
organic apples 25 it tells you how much you're going to get paid for whatever it
is you're you want to get when you're at the store and here is the cash out how
much you've earned today or how much you have in your total account right now and
right here you have 15 dollars and 25 cents you could put it in your pay in
your pay pal or venmo accounts and you know save that kind of money and make
that kind of money just for getting good foods that you should be eating anyway
so just think about it that way you're saving a lot of money and making a lot
of money on this and the big thing about this and I want to I want to reiterate
this you can refer someone so if you have friends like yourself who care
about what you're consuming and what you're taking into your body you can
actually refer this okay to people and make money at the same time doing that
as well so for every friend you refer you through your name that you will be
making a dollar and each on each name or each person that you refer so I think
this is phenomenal now the one thing I did question when I
did read this oh and another thing I want to show you cash out through PayPal
our venmo after your after you've accumulated $20
in your account so you have to have at least $20 before you could pull anything
out or put it into your PayPal just so you know but honestly when you're buying
organic or GMO food honestly that's gonna be probably in no time flat if not
one visit to the grocery store if you're seriously into organic stuff but one
thing that concerned me about this when I saw this review three-point-eight
there's only a hundred and four total reviews on it though
and I was reading through some of the comments and you I'm gonna throw this
link in the in the video for you below so you can do that there as well some of
these are garbage reviews and they're I mean they're not actually criticizing
the app they're just saying basically doing something to get points on their
phone but so I went and I double-checked the Apple app and that is actually a lot
more accurate it's 4.2 so check it out I'm gonna put these links in the
description below I figure this way you've got nothing to lose
I mean worst case Center you're gonna save yourself a couple bucks getting
something you probably should have or want anyway right you want good food you
want to eat right so there you go folks that's pretty much all I have for you
today I hope this helped you out it's just another option for you in order for
you to eat right and more importantly what this website and YouTube channel is
about making money any way you can that's gonna help you out I don't care

generate passive income become your own boss and make you know six figures or

your own boss or just want to like work regular work hours but be home in the

to do it and you want to make full-time money working a full-time job from home
