Youtube daily report Sep 6 2018

BM : You are not nervous?

SOMIN : A little bit.

BM : A little? You are a pro!

SOMIN : I think my legs will tremble when I step on the stage.

STAFF : It seems Matthew was like acting.

BM : Did I act well?

STAFF : Yes.

BM : Not nervous at all?

SOMIN : I am a lot.

BM : A lot?

SOMIN : Yes.

BM : Come on, like an unprofessional.

SOMIN : Whatever.

Check out a lunch box.

BM : This is my favorite lunch box.

Most delicious and favorite lunch box in the world.

Next to my mom's lunch.

STAFF : What kind of lunch box?

BM : Chiken mayo dupbab

Nothing is better than my mom's lunch box.

In the States, my mom made my lunch box with a hamburger and stakes.

She also made pork cutlets often and almost everything.

She made a Virginia BBQ lunch as well.

If there is no mom's lunch, go to Hansot*. (Hansot is Korean lunchbox shop)

(It is not ads.)

You can open the package of spoon like this.

(Failed)

You can mix it like this.

Wow, it smells so good.

I tried not to eat carbohydrates before the concert, but today I have to run a lot, so I have to eat.

I can eat two boxes.

SOMIN : How long the concert will be?

STAFF : You guys do just one hour and go?

SOMIN : We can't do that!

We are gonna do 4 hours?

No, NO NO NO.

Not many songs which fans can dance with,

so people could yawn and go…

STAFF : I saw fans came wearing running shoes to enjoy the concert.

SOMIN : Really?

They want to have fun today?

I think our fans know how to enjoy themselves, but they cannot enjoy fully because they are embarrassed.

We go to Karaoke with friends, right?

Then, we enjoy there like this.

Here, they are with unknown people,

they hind their passion and enjoy like this much.

(Practicing the electric kickboard)

SOMIN : It's not going well.

Ah, I found. The brake was stuck.

J.SEPH : It feels like we try to start with the parking brake on.

STAFF : You have a license, aren't you.

SOMIN : I have.

But I haven't driven a car so long, that's why I forgot.

J.SEPH : I thought you got a license not so long ago?

(Opening presents ceremony)

(Matthew got electrical hair clipper.)

BM : It seems it has a lot of meaning!

Someone who tries to make me more handsome gave this.

STAFF : No…it means you should cut your hair by yourself?

BM : By myself? Don't come to the hair salon?

I have to wake up early morning and prepare everything like make up by myself…

(Realized)

(Where Matthew goes?)

BM : Where are you going? Where?

(Cute J.seph's nephews!)

BM : Guys, I have a scratch on my eyebrow.

To tell the truth, I went to the forest with members and walking around, then a bear showed up.

I fought with the bear and the bear tried to scratch me, but I avoided it really well. That's why I only have one line of scratch like this much.

Tried to protect members.

Thank you.

Jinsol (April) / Yena (April)

YENA : I heard that you are gonna do a comedy skit?

J.SEPH : Yes

JINSOL : I wore your wig once yesterday, sorry~

J.SEPH : Oh did you? That's why.

JINSOL : The wig should have my shampoo smell.

J.SEPH : That's why it smells badly. You were the reason.

JINSOL : No, it not me!

J.SEPH : Because it smells badly, I wondered why. It is not my smell.

JINSOL : It's YOUR smell!

J.SEPH : Now I know the reason.

JINSOL : Mean!

(April came to cheer KARD up)

APRIL : Hello.

J.SEPH : Where you guy went?

CHAEKYUNG : You look like Hawaiian?

J.SEPH : You went to Hawaii?

J.SEPH : Did you take a picture?

You can take me only once.

JIWOO : It will start soon? Now it is 57minutes?

J.SEPH : 3minutes to go, but she is eating gummy candies.

JIWOO : These days I fall for gummy candies.

STAFF : Jiwoo seem not nervous.

J.SEPH : No thanks.

Because my throat hurts.

JIWOO : Nervous?

STAFF : We are moving now.

JIWOO : Oh I cannot eat this.

SOMIN : Tremble, tremble

STAFF : 1minutes to the opening.

STAFF : We do "fighting"? (*fighting means in Korea like let's go or cheer up)

J.SEPH : 1, 2, 3

(Serious look)

J.SEPH : Because you ask us to do one time, so I did it.

SOMIN : I mean mike, mike is your hand?

1, 2, 3

J.SEPH : WOW, down?

SOMIN : Yes, down.

(Cheers)

SOMIN : You think I don't know you?

Cannot trick me.

STAFF : Move quickly, please

SOMIN : Cannot see.

BM : Cannot see.

District Renames School After Barack Obama To Replace 'Racist' Conservative's Name - Duration: 3:38.

District Renames School After Barack Obama To Replace 'Racist' Conservative's Name

The historical revisionists are at it again.

This time in Richmond, Virginia.

Pandering to the politically correct, the race baiters, and the historically deficient

Richmond Public Schools Superintendent Jason Kamaras pledged that his job is to make sure

students have a safe environment to learn.

"I see it as my job to start turning over all these rocks, and when I see snakes, I

just got to step on them and take care of it for the kids and families of RPS.

And I'm going to keep doing that," Kamras said.

Apparently, one of those "snakes" is an elementary school formerly named after one

of the greatest cavalry commanders in American history, James Ewell Brown "Jeb" Stuart,

at least according to Kamras.

The Richmond School Board voted to change the name of J.E.B.

Stuart Elementary to Barack Obama Elementary school on June 18, 2018, in a vote of 6-1.

Kamras commented on the decision to rename the school: "It's incredibly powerful

that in the capital of the Confederacy, where we had a school named for an individual who

fought to maintain slavery, that now we're renaming that school after the first black

president.

A lot of our kids and our kids at J.E.B.

Stuart see themselves in Barack Obama."

The student population of the newly named Barack Obama Elementary School is made up

of primarily black children.

However, many others see this as just the latest in a series of efforts to remove, rewrite,

and obliterate American history.

For example, Stuart himself is a notable historical figure, graduating from West Point in 1854

and serving as a veteran of the frontier conflicts with Native Americans and the violence that

erupted known as Bleeding Kansas.

He also participated in the capture of John Brown at Harpers Ferry in the lead up to the

Civil War.

He resigned his commission with the U.S. Army as many others did when his home state of

Virginia chose to secede, choosing to defend his home with the Confederate Army.

He originally served under General Stonewall Jackson in the Shenandoah Valley, growing

in increasingly important cavalry commands in the Army of Northern Virginia.

He played a significant role in the campaigns of that army until his death at the Battle

of Yellow Tavern.

A good man and a notable historical figure, Stuart deserves to be remembered as such.

By contrast, former President Barrack Obama is shrouded in scandal and we are even now

still uncovering the true depth and breadth of that scandal as the constitutional abuses

perpetrated by means of the FISA court using the salacious and fictional Steele dossier

as "proof" continue to come to light.

Yet the selective outrage remains.

The question begs to be asked while we are continuing to remove monuments and statues,

rename schools, and all manner of other destruction and desecration of history, just when exactly

are the monuments to alleged child sex predator Harvey Milk going to be removed from San Francisco?

When are the schools and the naval ships named in his honor going to be renamed?

Or what of the statue erected in honor of mass murderer and genocidal maniac Vladimir

Lenin in Seattle?

When is that coming down?

Or the bust of mass murderer and eugenics proponent Margaret Sanger?

The woman that once proudly spoke before the KKK extolling the virtues of racial and socioeconomic

genocide sits in and place of honor in the National Portraits Institute.

When is that coming down?

Why the selective outrage?

History is history.

We learn from ALL of it, whether for good or for ill.

The most effective way to destroy a people is to effectively destroy their understanding

of their own history.

Orwell knew what he was talking about.

Cynthia Nixon Is Taking on the Political Establishment - Duration: 5:45.

-Welcome to the show.

-Thank you so much. It's great to be here.

-You are very busy right now.

Running for governor takes a lot of time and effort.

-I am. I was in six different cities just this weekend.

-That is a crazy thing to do.

-Yes. -Yeah.

-It's a big state.

-Yeah, I would say if you ever told anybody

you were in six cities in one weekend,

they would just assume you were running for governor.

There's really no other reason to do that.

-Or a stand-up comedian.

-Or a stand-up -- that's true. -One or the other.

-So, one of things you and your opponent, Governor Cuomo,

are trying to frame yourself as

is the person who will most take on Donald Trump.

-Right.

-He obviously has history of Donald Trump

being a New Yorker like he is.

You have a little history with Donald Trump as well.

When you won an Emmy, Donald Trump gave you your Emmy.

[ Laughter ]

-I look very pained, don't I?

-Yeah. It does. You seem very --

-I look so happy to be receiving an Emmy

but just wish it was from someone else.

-Yeah.

And your other option was Simon Cowell. You know?

-But you see how Donald

actually doesn't want to let go of the Emmy?

-Yeah.

-Because, you know, he was nominated so many times.

And he never had one of his own, and in retrospect,

I think that maybe if I had just let him have mine,

we wouldn't be in the situation that we're in.

[ Laughter and applause ]

-Yes. We can all look back.

We can all look back.

-But hindsight is always 20/20.

-It does look like he is saying to you like,

"So I think this is something we share.

I'll get it on weekends."

You know?

So, one of the things you've been talking a lot about

in your campaign so far is the influence of money in politics.

-Yes.

-Obviously, this is something that happens nationally.

This is something that happens locally.

This is something that happens at the state level.

How do you go about getting money out of politics?

How do you go about getting this message across to voters?

-Right.

So, I think that obviously the influence of big money,

the influence of corporations in politics is nothing new,

but I think we've arrived at a moment

where corporations have so much power and so much money,

and they're spending it so plentifully on our electeds

that there is almost no daylight between the corporate agenda

and New York state policy at the moment.

And it's, you know, it's no coincidence

that Andrew Cuomo's -- one of the industries

that donates the most to him is real estate,

and we're having a tremendous housing affordability crisis

across the state.

I think these two facts are very, very linked,

and I think it's really important that, for example,

in my campaign I'm not accepting a single dime

of corporate contributions. Right?

-And have you found -- [ Cheers and applause ]

-So that -- so that when I -- when I get to Albany,

I won't be beholden to my corporate donors

because I won't have any.

-That's a very easy solution to the problem

of how to not be beholden.

-It is. It is.

-You -- A lot of people are giving you credit for,

even before the election, pulling the governor

to the left on certain issues.

You have brought up issues, things like single payer.

You mention affordable housing.

You talk about --

-Whole host of environmental issues

we've got him to move to the left on.

-You got him to the left.

"The New York Times" just wrote an endorsement, and obviously,

they had to pick a candidate.

They gave you a lot of credit in this piece for the issues

that you were pulling the governor to the left on.

They also said that he had brought

a degree of corruption to Albany,

and yet in the end they endorsed him

despite making all these points because he would be more likely

to be able to implement things due to his experience.

What was it like reading that?

-Well, they effectively said, right, we have a governor

whose administration has been rife with corruption,

and if anything, the last four years,

his administration has outdone itself.

They listed all the things that he hasn't accomplished,

and they effectively said,

"We have an incredibly dysfunctional, corrupt

Cuomo administration.

But he's our Andrew Cuomo and we think the next four years

are gonna be entirely different.

Let's endorse him."

-That might -- I mean, because as you read it, it seemed like

they were gonna definitely endorse you,

and then at the end they didn't.

Were you like, "Wow, that was a real twist at the end there"?

[ Laughter ]

-You know, this is -- this is an insurgent campaign.

This is a people-powered campaign,

and I think that so many people in the establishment

are not grasping the moment that we're in and are not grasping --

with Donald Trump in the White House,

it's a really terrible moment for our country.

But I think what voters are trying to say

to the Democratic establishment and are saying it in volumes

when you look at the victory --

Ayanna Pressley last night in Massachusetts.

If you look at Andrew Gillum last week in Florida,

these are -- Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

These are people who were not predicted to win,

who were down by 30 points in some cases,

and have marched on to victory because voters understand

something the Democratic Party leadership doesn't seem to,

which is that with Donald Trump in the White House,

we actually have not only a possibility

but we have an obligation to elect leaders

who will bring real progressive change,

whether you're talking about single payer healthcare,

whether you're talking about universal rent regulation,

whether you're talking about

New York becoming a leader in renewable energy.

We have to elect more Democrats this year,

but we also have to elect better Democrats.

-You have punch lines.

The people throw down the punch line

they think's gonna get the biggest laugh.

If you get it, you get a point. It's that easy.

-All right, let's play a game right now.

-Are you ready? -Yeah.

-All right, I'll do -- I'll read the setup.

-I take seven cards? -Seven cards.

-All right, great.

Yeah.

Okay. -All right. You ready?

-Yeah. -And you would have

a table full of people throwing down punch lines.

We just have two.

"Having no filter between her brain and her mouth,

my aunt said to my sister...blank."

"Having no filter between her brain and her mouth,

my aunt... -Well...

"Well, at least Jesus loves you."

[ Laughter and applause ]

Dude, it's fantastic.

You wanna do -- -You wanna do another one?

-We'll do one more. Yeah. Why not?

-"I will never forget the day my mother looked at me

and said..." [ Light laughter ]

-"You were conceived in a car wash."

[ Laughter and applause ]

Let's do one more. -One more, one more.

-But I could play this all night.

-That's how easy it is. All right, here we go.

-All right, yeah. -Last one.

"Right before we walked down the aisle,

daddy leaned over to me and whispered..."

[ Laughter ]

-"I'm not wearing any underwear."

[ Laughter and applause ]

Cynthia Nixon on How She Would Fix New York City's Subways - Duration: 5:45.

-I want to ask about this, because, you know, obviously,

if you're running against a Republican right now,

they would probably be attacking your lack of experience,

but you're in this situation where even progressives,

who like your ideas, are concerned about it.

How do you address this fact that you

aren't coming from a political background,

especially at a time where someone's in The White House

who didn't have a lot of experience,

and it looks like it's not going great?

-Well, but what I want to say is -- Donald Trump is,

first and foremost, a real-estate developer, right?

Who ran to give himself and people in his tax bracket

a huge income-tax break.

I mean, I'm somebody who grew up the daughter

of a single mother in a five-flight one-bedroom walkup,

somebody who has spent the last 17 years

and used my celebrity to fight for LGBTQ equality

and for women's rights and abortion rights

and most especially to fight for better funding

and more equal funding for New York's public schools.

And I think that that's the kind of progressive fighter

that New York needs leading it right now.

We already have a corrupt corporate Republican

in the White House.

We don't need a corrupt corporate Democrat

opposing him in Albany.

-So, I want to get to an issue that we both agree

and I think everybody in the city agrees --

the subways are -- they're not good.

[ Laughter ]

That's one, I think, you've addressed.

And, obviously, you know, the subway is a lifeblood

for a lot of people that have to get to work.

This a serious issue.

-The subway is literally what New York City runs on.

-It's literally what it runs on.

And how do you even go about trying to address

this issue that not just through --

to be fair, has been deteriorating for years,

not just due to the Cuomo administration.

-Yes, but look at what's happened

in the last seven years.

Delays have tripled under Andrew Cuomo.

We've got the worst on-time record now

of any major transit system in the entire country.

-We did have that pizza rat. That was a nice moment.

That happened on his watch.

He was the first governor to have a pizza rat.

-But he has watched the steady decline.

He's siphoned off hundreds of millions of dollars

for pet projects that have absolutely nothing to do

with transportation.

And the fact of the matter is --

like so many of the issues that we face,

the problems that we face in New York, we know the solution.

But, right now, we have a governor who doesn't have

the political will to make it happen.

-The solution being we need more money put into the subways.

-The solution being we have a really comprehensive plan

for how to fix them, to replace the 1930s-era signals,

to replace the trains from the '60s and the '70s,

to run cars closer together so that we can get more trains

on the system so we're all not jammed in like sardines.

But Andrew Cuomo doesn't want to enact a tax on millionaires,

because they're some of his biggest donors

and he doesn't want to alienate them.

And his they're not people who ride the subway.

He himself is not someone who rides the subway.

He's been on the subway twice since taking office.

As somebody who's on the subway every day

and knows firsthand how terrible it is

and how it's getting worse and worse month by month,

this is not something we have a choice about fixing,

the New York City subway,

and this is not something that we can delay fixing.

It's only going to get harder

and more expensive to fix the longer we wait.

-Is it -- has it been disappointing for you

or is it what you expected that a lot of

establishment Democrats are throwing their support

behind Governor Cuomo?

You know, people like Joe Biden

and people like Hillary Clinton are supporting him.

Is that what you expected or a disappointment?

-This is exactly what we expected.

This is a total insurgent campaign.

This is a people-powered campaign.

And this is a campaign that

we're talking to people about issues.

We're talking to people about things

that they care about, like legalizing marijuana.

I know your audience doesn't care about that

issue in particular.

[ Cheers and applause ]

But we have to legalize marijuana for a lot of reasons,

but also because it's a racial-justice issue,

because people across all ethnicities and races

use marijuana at roughly the same rates,

but 80% of the arrests are of black and Latino people.

And it's just the tip of the iceberg

of the justice reform that we need to do.

We need to stop the overpolicing of communities of color.

We have to stop mass incarceration.

And when we're talking about mass incarceration,

we're talking about mass incarceration

of people of color.

-And the subway is also mass incarceration,

if you've been on it recently.

-At the moment. At the moment, it is.

-At the moment, it is. It's all very exciting.

It's very exciting to you have here,

both because of the political message

that you're pushing forward -- Also, we were talking backstage.

I do want to mention this briefly.

I had never seen "Sex and the City."

My wife made me start watching it this year.

We're on Season 4. -I'm so sorry. Yes.

-I'm very much enjoying it. -Good, good, good.

-But I'm really bothered,

because I feel like I have a really good impression of Steve.

-Really? -Yeah.

But I feel like it's a problem, because I feel like the window

is closed, as far as that being an effective tool.

Like, no one is dying to hear a Steve impression right now.

But I feel like since you're here,

I have a unique opportunity to do it.

-I would be so thrilled. -Okay, great. Are you ready?

-I wish we -- Do we have a Brooklyn Bridge, you know,

photo that we can --

-This is close enough, I feel. -It's close enough.

-Yeah, yeah yeah. -All right. Go ahead.

All right. Okay.

-[ As Steve ] What's going on with us, Miranda?

I mean, I can't figure out what we're doing.

Should we get a dog?

-That's very good. -Thank you.

That means a lot. You made me feel very good.

You just made me feel very good. -That was beautiful.

-Thank you so much for being here.

Give it up for Cynthia Nixon, everybody.

How To Get Rid Of Wrinkles Forever Overnight at Home │ Remove Forehead, Face Under Eyes Wrinkles - Duration: 2:13.

Wrinkles are also known as rhytides.

They are creases in the skin that become pronounced with aging as the skin loses its natural elasticity.

There was a time when wrinkles were considered as a sign of aging.

But, nowadays, it is no longer a surprise if they start appearing even if you are in

your mid-20s.

Hectic lifestyle, stress, lack of sleep, and improper diet often lead to skin damage, essentially

resulting in wrinkles.

The solutions are inexpensive and simple to follow.

The best part is that these home remedies for wrinkles have minimum to zero side effects.

Here I will show you how to get rid of wrinkles easily at home.

So please click the subscribe button and press the bell icon for more videos.

At first take a cucumber.

Cut the cucumber in to 2 halves.

Then take one half and cut into small pieces.

Use a grinder to grind these pieces into pulp.

Extract the juice with a sieve.

Take an egg and mix 2 tablespoon of egg white with the juice.

Mix it well.

Rub this mixture on the loose skin, especially the mouth corner area.

Let it remain for 15 minutes.

Lastly use water to clean it away.

To obtain maximum benefit, apply it 1 to 2 times weekly.

Besides apply this mixture, also apply coconut oil on the mouth corner every night to obtain

even greater benefit and result.

I would suggest every night before going to bed, apply a thick layer of coconut oil at

the wrinkles area.

The persistent weekly application of cucumber egg white mixture and coconut oil on the skin

will definitely make the skin firmer and improve the sagging mouth corner.

Trump Finally Responds To Nike Signing Huge Deal With Colin Kaepernick(VIDEO)!!! - Duration: 12:11.

Trump Finally Responds To Nike Signing Huge Deal With Colin Kaepernick

new tonight President Trump is now

weighing in on this controversial new

Nike ad featuring Colin Kaepernick and

it is not in some ways a response that

everyone might expect the president

telling the Daily Caller tonight I think

it's a terrible message and a message

that shouldn't be sent but it is what

this country is all about you have

certain freedoms to do other things that

people think you shouldn't do

I personally am on a different side of

it the president also mentioned the Nike

flagship stores in his building and pays

him a lot of rent the ad triggered

backlash from some customers many

turning to social media to share photos

of Nike products burned in protest the

company's stock was down today about

three percent my next guest is outraged

by this choice by Nike and he knows

something about sacrificing for

something in 2008 his Humvee was hit by

an AED in Afghanistan leaving him

severely burned and blinded in one eye

here now welcome back to the story

tonight Sergeant Robert Bartlett Army

veteran and advisor to United against a

nuclear Iran sergeant good to see you

tonight thank you so much for being here

it was me though of 2005 just so you

know thank you

we stand corrected so you feel very

strongly that this is the wrong message

from that's why I think kind of Mother

Teresa said of best the fruit of love is

service right my families fought for

this country and service of this country

and under this flag since the birth of

this country this is my grandfather's

flag who broke his back in a coal mine

world war ii broke out he walked with a

cane he threw his cane in the front yard

and went signed up for the navy the next

day his son my grandfather said my

grandfather's going to war with a broken

back on him a able body he went you know

we serve and in that service you feel

the love of what you did being part of

something bigger than yourself

getting on your knees was not being part

of something bigger than yourself

service getting into the community

helping out those in need that service

of others

what I mean but colin kaepernick says

that he feels that there is racial

injustice in the country and that as an

American he has the right to protest if

he if he feels that that will make it

send his message and now Nikes on board

they're helping him send that message in

a big way right yeah so they make all

this money off of saturd those who

sacrifice for the freedom for them to do

that under a flag that provides them

with that service of freedom to do that

so they're protesting the very thing

that provides them that opportunity and

then you look at Nike and you say okay

well they have their freedom to put up

whoever they want an advertisement I

have a feeling Nikes not going to make

its number this year all my friends are

burning their stuff

we forgot friends we got rid of all

their Hollywood stuff of those who

didn't support America or not

pro-american its continued got friends

who don't watch the NFL anymore yeah

lots of them their ratings are down ten

percent last year and this this subject

has definitely hurt them and it's very

much back in the forefront with Colin

Kaepernick's trial going forward now as

well

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of all people has

decided to weigh in on the Nike Camp the

Nike ad with Colin Kaepernick here's

what he said the NFL season will start

this week unfortunately once again

Kaepernick is not on an NFL roster even

though he is one of the best

quarterbacks in the league well if he

was you'd have a job no matter what he

was doing right no matter what he was

protesting he'd have a job and that's

not the reality and so Hawk demand if

Ishod if he's you know the great divine

person of American politics and what's

right and what's wrong then the worlds

are really upside-down okay less than a

minute left I wanna get your reaction to

John Brennan who has also been much in

the news he says Colin Kaepernick drew

our collective attention to the problem

of continued racial injustice in America

he did so not to disrespect our flag but

to give meaning to the words of the

preamble of the Constitution in order to

form a more perfect union well done

Colin well done says John Brennan

I'd say that's a continuation of voting

for communism if you don't stand for the

flag you don't care about the flag and

the very things that provide you with

those freedoms and representative that

then

are you standing for you're standing for

a communist flag of some other country

or are you standing with Achmed in Jihad

or who you know you know sent for this

country where you stand for

if so hey let's straight let straight

for people who want to come here alright

you go there we'll come we'll take them

here sergeant

we don't wanna trade you for anybody

we're very glad you're here to know this

guy we thank you so much going for this

country it's worth it you and your

grandfather and a great grandfather we

thank you very much thank you very much

good to see you again

you too always a pleasure to program you

to the National Association of police

organizations is calling for a boycott

of Nike this after the sportswear giant

made former NFL quarterback Colin

Kaepernick the face of its just do a

30th anniversary campaign reaction to

the news was Swift on social media and

the stock market Nike today the

worst-performing a member of the Dow

Jones Industrial Average is shares

falling more than three percent when I

bring in our panel now to discuss the

fallout Lee Carter GOP communication

strategies Robin biro and Ned Ryan are

back with us I got to start with you Lee

you now you don't think this is a bad

thing you think this is not a bad move

on their part the Nikes part from a

business perspective I absolutely don't

think this is a bad move I know that the

stock moved today I know they're down 3%

that's a short-term issue I think longer

turn is going to be smart for them they

knew who their target audiences they

know who they are and this is a

statement about you know appealing to

the athlete in all of us and the

athletes and a lot of athletes agree

with this stance and we're seeing right

the consumer right now eight and ten

Americans is more likely to buy a

product if they think that their values

are aligned with a company that they buy

them from so they're gonna see a lot of

people out there buying more Nike saying

this says I'm Pro free speech that I I

agree with this and I think that all the

the things we're seeing today where

people are burning their Nikes and all

that it's probably gonna be over by

tomorrow you know Robin yeah I I I get

where Millennials probably are more

sympathetic to Colin Kaepernick than the

older consumers out there but but by the

same token particularly when it comes to

Nike and the NFL you know the big time

money that is spent at the owner tickets

and at the at the parties in a parking

lot those kind of things

those aren't Millennials you know I've

been to a lot of ball games and

Millennials don't go to those kind of

games in fact I looked up the top 30

selling jerseys of last year and I

cannot find Colin Kaepernick's Jersey

anywhere on this list so I'm not sure I

know that I know it's a heck of a gambit

but is it worth it you know that's a

that's a tough question but a good one

this is gonna have ramifications for the

NFL it's gonna continue the controversy

this has been a very controversial topic

you know I'm a veteran myself so this is

an issue that's kind of dear to me

Americans though have confer gotten that

this was initially suggested by Nate

Boyer a Special Forces veteran as a way

to show respect because when we as as

soldiers we take a knee when we're

injured and it was symbolic to show that

he was injured by racial injustice but

that's all been conflated lost in the

wash so you know it remains to be seen

the market fluctuation I agree I think

that will be temporary but I think

they're really enjoying all of this free

media Charles they might be and I mean

before I get to you Nate I do want to

share a quote President Trump he spoke

with the Daily Caller and an exclusive

interview and he said that quote I think

it's a thing as far as sending a message

I think it's a terrible message and a

message that shouldn't be sent there's

no reason for it you know one of the

things is I think the leads point

they're trying to reconnect to maybe

younger buyers because I got to tell you

in the last three years adidas is eating

their lunch now Nike is obviously a much

bigger company but from a market share

perspective and from a stock perspective

in three years

adidas stock up two hundred twenty one

percent Nike shares up only 50 percent

look at that chart that tells you almost

everything you need to know was the

gambit worth it to close that gap well I

have to tell you Charles that on this

announcement I my first thought was the

FEC might want to open investigation

into Nike for making a massive in-kind

contribution to Trump's 2020 reelection

campaign because this is going to

highlight yet again a winning issue for

Donald Trump and you look at this from

the political jean-charles about 60% of

into

think it is inappropriate to kneel or

protest the American flag in our

national anthem but you know what

Nikes free to make its own financial

decisions if it wants to have a guy that

wore socks that portrayed officers as

pigs knock yourself out

where they seem to have forgotten in all

of this decision if they really are

targeting a younger generation

Millennials Republicans and

conservatives and patriotic Americans

who want to see the flag in the national

anthem respected we actually buy

athletic shoes and so I think people are

going to vote with their pockets

Pittsburgh Steelers he's a famous vet

and I think the reason is Jersey so

popular is number seven it's because

he's a vet and he did not he does stand

for the national anthem and he bucked

his entire team and I think he created a

whole wave of fandom so again you know

you see this and you know almost

everything is polarizing and politicized

these days do you think that company

should keep going down this path I I

think it it is the it is a trend that

companies need to take a stand it used

to be that lowest trickshot risk option

was to stand on the sidelines and do

nothing and not say anything about the

big issue the day do things that were

easy that were popular I think now

companies have to make decisions that

are tough that we are a politicized

nation people every decision you make

from the cup of coffee that you wear the

brand that you choose is making a

statement about your values and your

politics how great how great the product

is the usefulness of the product the

value of the product was a value

proposition the old-school value

proposition that I've made a product

that's the best in the market and you

should use it I think if that's assumed

right I think that consumers today

assume at the baseline that it's a good

product and then if you take that good

product that's the quality and all those

things are looking for and layer on what

this says about me as a human being if I

go to chick-fil-a I'm making a statement

about Who I am if I mean you're drinking

Starbucks

totally true with Ned here that this is

by the way this is gonna be one of the

biggest boons to the midterm turnout for

the Republicans I think that this is

another reason why people are so upset

with the elite that this seems out of

touch but I think it's a smart business

move for Knight very quick Ned please

Charles do we have to politicize

everything the American people I think

are getting tired of this they wanted

some sort of escapism they want to be

able to go to movies and sporting events

and turn on their TV without having

these social justice warriors cram

everything down their throat it we don't

have to politicize everything let people

enjoy certain things let them enjoy

sports for sports sake TV for TV sake

movies for movies sake alright and I

think this will backfire on them because

they're very puritanical you will be

compelled right well and I think it has

backfired on Hollywood but I will share

with you guys go see the documentary if

you can pick it a litter I don't care

what side of the political aisle you on

it's about seeing-eye dogs what they go

through I love it thank you god bless

you and God bless america

Things To Do in Lisbon Portugal - Does it live up to the hype? - Duration: 9:08.

Good morning and we are out and about in Lisbon

Now Lisbon will test your legs it's

built on like seven hills so the

advantages are it gives some great

viewpoints over the city that where you

can go and get different views of the

bridge of the castle of the city of the

river the Tagus River but when you're

walking around whoa it will test your legs

and your ankles so be prepared wear a decent

pair of shoes for wandering around also

the temperature can change enormously in

the sun it can get toasty down by the

river it can get quite cool so a couple

of layers for wearing sunglasses and a

hat, which I haven't broken out yet but I'm

gonna try and show you around

some of the highlights of Lisbon some

of the things you can actually do mostly

by walking hoping to go to the

commercial plaza, lisbon cathedral, couple

of statues and fountains in town, Justa

lift, I'm sure I've missed something else off

there as well

porting off my list anyway let's take

you and show you around a little bit

This is Commercial Plaza right down by

the waterfront by the Targus River close

to the town center called Commercial Plaza

because orinally it was built to control all

the commerce or trade that came in and

out of Lisbon via the port

now the buildings around there aren't

government buildings controlling

shipping anymore they're all restaurants and

cafes beautiful open area right in the

middle of the city by the waterfront where

you can chill relax have a drink and looks

like they're setting up for a concert

there let's show you a little bit around.

oh and dodging the crowds at Belem

Tower it's a remarkable building built in

the 16th century by King John II sits on

the targus river to defend the entrance

down to Lisbon, quite a popular spot to

hang out it's quite near the discoverers

monument & Jeronimos Monastery as well

it's quite a nice little triangle walk but it's a bit

further out of town

but have a look at that

and also there is queues to get in so pre-book your

tickets to get in

amazing

The monument to the discoverers built to

commemorate all the amazing discoverers

that have launched their ships from this

point from the 15th and16th century it

was originally built in 1939 and

actually got knocked down because it was

actually just a temporary monument got

rebuilt in 1960 and now sits here to

commemorate all the amazing discoverers

that have launched from here and to

discover the world from Portugal

Saint Jeronimos Monastery right here

opposite the monument of the discoveries

down at the belem tower end started

building at 1501 will you believe took a

hundred years to complete

let's show you a bit

Now what I have noticed even this time

of year was slightly off season but good

weather the queues for everything are

enormous if you want to get inside and

see these things plan in advance and

Lisbon in general is a really great

place to just stroll around there is

lots of other things to see but the nice

thing is you can wander the streets up

and down the hills a little bit here and

there go and visit the different

viewpoints to get different views of the

city go across the targus River and see

the view back of the city find little

alleyways and cafes squares with statues

it's a very placid nice place to

experience I can see why a lot of people

say it's their favourite capital city of

Europe it does have a very mellow feel

and there is lots to do

the atmosphere is generally very friendly

the views are great you can go down to

the river and enjoy the cool breeze in

the heat of the day it's a pleasant

place to spend some time so I'll just

finish off the day by showing you just a

few more of other squares and places

without naming them all, coz I've

forgotten to write the names of them all

down so you can just enjoy and absorb a

little bit of the lovely atmosphere of

Lisbon

HOW TO READ CHOLESTEROL RESULTS - BLOOD REPORT - DR SINGH MD EXPLAINS - DRSINGHTASTIC - 2018 - Duration: 4:49.

fans are absolutely bad for your

headstone and destroy you get into your

arteries and block your heart that can

kill you in fact if this for your life

that can be devastating fat can

intimidate cost Daniel that's quite

actually accurate but you should also

know that not all fats are bad some are

good too so the next thing that you

would be doing is doing in lipid profile

so how would you understand what each of

these numbers mean now if you're

especially if you're not a doctor like

me you will end up with a bunch of

numbers that you don't totally

understand so guys in this video I want

to show you what each of these numbers

mean and how you can quickly fix them if

they happen to be abnormal so straight

here

so guys I'm considering that you have a

little profile in your hand right now so

the first thing that you would be doing

is looking at the Torah cholesterol now

if it happens to be hundred under 350

milligrams to a deciliter that that's

totally fine then you move on to the

next one and that is the triglycerides

so what are triglycerides they are blood

fats they're synthesized enough from

your sugars or tops now if you have low

triglycerides then it goes to say that

you've been controlling your diet pretty

well so everything good so far next

thing is the HDL high density

lipoproteins now see how I'm really

stressing on the word protein it is a

protein guys it is not cholesterol now

LDL and HDL are two carrier proteins now

think of it as a center and a periphery

the center you have a liver and the

periphery is your body there needs to be

certain communication between these two

centers by means of carrier proteins and

these categories are HDL and LDL now HDL

is high density lipoprotein and it's so

called the good cholesterol

now LDL can be of two types LDL a and

LDL B LDL in is a larger molecule LDL B

is a smaller one and more dense now you

can understand the smaller ones are

notorious to get into small spaces and

that's what makes it really dangerous so

if you have elevated LDL you really do

not understand where it's coming from

it can either come from LDL a or ng LP

the next question would be how do we

know that now obviously there is a test

available for allele a and NDL B but

that's quite expensive

now you're better off doing it in a

different way and I'm going to show you

a little hack now we belong to the land

of India where it's called the land of

jugaad so I'm going to show you what you

guard of that guy so stay tuned so guys

let's talk about the two guard that I

was talking to you about so you have a

situation where in your

deals are higher now you do not really

understand where it's coming from

is it the less dangerous LDL a or is it

the more dangerous at the end B now I'm

gonna show you a quick hack okay so your

situation is idealist high all right

keep them aside now the next thing that

you should be doing is look at your HDL

- triglyceride ratio in both of these

happen to be going in the same direction

meaning both of them going higher

they're showing a higher trend the

chances are that the LDL is coming

mostly from your LDL B which is a

dangerous situation guys if your HDL -

triglyceride ratio is both going

downwards meaning both of them are lower

than they should be while your allele is

high then it's probably coming from the

less dangerous and a next obvious thing

is what contributes to material aid and

what contributes to LDL be Elliot a is

primarily increased when you consume a

lot of saturated fats saturated fats are

really not that bad after all okay so a

lil b is dangerous so where does a

little b come from it comes from trans

fats it comes from your processed and

refined oils canola oil soil and

hydrogenated fats these are the

dangerous things these are the dangerous

facts that I was mentioning earlier so

try to avoid canola oil and soy these

are really going to be bad for your

overall cholesterol and lipid profile

you will end up with a heart disease if

you continue to consume such foods so

stay healthy cultivate good habits and

get fit that's more important get

healthy get fit so that's it from here

guys

I hope I made some sense with regard to

the lipid profile and everything if you

still have any questions do let me know

throw them up in the comment section

I'll be really happy to reply and also

do check out my other videos on IGTV and

also on YouTube go to youtube.com slash

alright guys signing out I'll see you in

Guitar tip 17 - developing 3rd and 4th finger independence - Duration: 3:58.

Hi Stuart Bahn here and this is tip number

17 in this series of guitar tips videos.

in this video the tip is to develop

independence between the third and

fourth fingers of the left hand now

these two fingers are always going to be

a bit of a problem; they're just not as

independent as any of the other two

finger combinations of this hand but we

can improve it. It will never be as

good as the others but we can get it

fairly good and what you have to do is

to just train yourself to use one

without it being influenced by the other.

I touched on this in an earlier video

but I'm going to go into a bit more detail

this time. Here's a simple exercise

obviously all I'm doing is doing fret 7

and 8 using a third and fourth

fingers across the strings. I'm alternate

picking as well but I'm applying a rule

which is that I'm not allowing myself to

take both fingers off. The reason being

that if you do then you just reposition

using the hand hand movement as opposed

to reaching with one of the fingers

whilst the other one remains in the

previous position. So we're trying to go

reach for the next one take this one off

only as that one goes down and then

again the same thing

so I'm forcing the third finger to reach

independently of the fourth finger which

stays put. You can then try the other way

round: 8... 7... now it's the little finger

reaching.

Now you can work on that; do it

slowly to make sure you're doing it

perfectly. Then try this: stick with the

middle: 7 8 7 8... then put

and backwards

Then put a string skip in the way

7 8 on the D string and then reach for the B

string again leaving this finger until

the moment you fret that one

Then try it the other way around

notice that I'm trying to keep all my

other fingers fairly still as well

I'm not actually trying, it's just happening, but

once upon a time I would have had to

work at that. You might as well try and

include that bit of technique work at

the same time. Try not to let this finger

pop off. Then try two string skips

7 8 on the A-string and reach all the

way down for the B string now that is

quite a stretch, but you can do it.

and then backwards, 8 7.

Now that's the exercise.

It really works. I find often the best

approach to changing a technique is to

take the simplest exercise that truly

addresses the problem and this one does.

So if your third and fourth fingers are

not as independent as they should be, or

as you would like, take this exercise put

it in your practice regime and try and do it

every day if possible; as a minimum several

times a week for several minutes at a

time, and keep hold of it long-term and

you will soon see the benefits. I hope you

found that helpful. Please give it a thumbs up

if you did and click subscribe and I

shall see you in the next video.

I am soooo bored! What should I do?

Well, now listen...

There will always be moments in life when you feel bored.

At those moments you can just do nothing at all.

As a matter of fact, it is good for your brain. It gets some rest and the opportunity...

...not to care about any stimuli.

Of course, you can always figure out something to do...

but we can not be some kind of anti-boredom

pill or agents for anyone.

It is also good for you to learn to put up with boredom.

Sometimes these moments will occur to anyone.

KARD KLIP #36 WILD KARD IN SEOUL BEHIND - Duration: 8:53.

What To Use To Measure Math Progress Instead of Using A Math Progress Monitoring Tool - Duration: 10:11.

- Well, it is that time of year again

when teachers start to look forward

to all of the wonderful testing

that they get do in their classroom.

Right?

Well, unfortunately, testing and doing assessments

is just part of teacher life nowadays.

However, I am not a big fan of most of the testing

that we have available to us.

Well, I'm Christina Tondevold, the Recovering Traditionalist

and I hope that you'll stick around as we talk about

what to use to measure math progress

instead of a using a math progress monitoring tool

in our quest to build our math minds

so that we can build the math minds of our students.

Now let me start off with

why I think most progress monitoring tools

are doing it wrong, basically.

Like, why don't I like these tools?

So my first one is a lot of the tools measure

by based upon the wrong scoring techniques.

So here's a little example

from a popular progress monitoring tool.

I've blocked it out for anonymity purposes

but a lot of these I guess kind of look similar,

that basically, you are scoring based upon

how many digits they get correct.

So you're not even looking at the overall

did they get it right or wrong,

but it's how many digits did they get correct,

which I guess is a little bit better

than just marking it incorrect or correct,

but the problem is that when we get the results back

as teachers, because typically as teachers,

we are not giving the assessment,

it's often given by somebody else

and all we get back is score,

is that these scores don't really tell us much

about the student thinking.

So let's take a look at one of these problems in particular,

the 83 minus 34.

So let's say that some of the students,

we get different answers and somebody gave the answer 51,

somebody gave 59, somebody gave 48.

And of course, there's the correct answer as well of 49.

And a kid there would get two points,

according to the scoring system

of this progress monitoring tool

but these results, these answers that kids are giving,

don't really give us insight.

All we know is that the first kid got zero points,

the second kid got one point,

and the third kid also got one point,

but it doesn't really tell us anything about

why they got those points,

what mathematical knowledge led them to that answer,

and how do we use that information from the assessment

to help them?

How do we use that to help them become better?

One of the main purposes of assessment

is for us to use that assessment to inform our instruction,

and way too many of the progress monitoring tools

don't do that for us.

All right, the other thing that I just don't love

about most of the progress monitoring tools

is that they will, they're on one side or the other

of the types of content that they are assessing.

So the example that I had showed previously

was fully focused on computation.

It's just a sheet of computation and we're looking at

are they able to add and subtract or multiply and divide?

As you get into fractions, it's computation with fractions.

It's just about computation.

Now the other side is assessments

that try to focus on all the concepts of mathematics.

So it'll have stuff, some computation tasks.

It'll have some stuff on measurement.

It'll have some geometry.

So it covers everything.

And the issue I have with that is that

especially for kids who are in need of intervention,

the focus should not be on measurement and time

and money and geometry.

The research shows that kids in need of intervention

need a strong focus in number.

Now the problem is that assessments, when we say "number,"

they start to focus in on computation with number,

but an understanding of numbers is not just computation.

It's a whole lot about number sense and place value

and some flexibility with numbers.

And so we've got to use, if we want a true understanding

of where kids are struggling,

we have to look beyond just computation,

and most of the assessments don't do that.

So we do need to be focusing on number and number sense,

but that is not just through computation.

So what do I recommend instead of what's out there?

Now here's the problem.

Even though you watched this video

and I give you some information,

you may be forced to use one of these types of assessments

that are out there that I say are really bad

because that's what's required of you.

But I want to give you some information

through this video that makes you be able to say,

you know, in your heart and hearts, you probably know,

like, I just, I hate this.

I don't love this assessment,

but you don't quite know how to verbalize what's wrong.

You just are like, I hate this,

but you don't know how to really combat it.

So hopefully through the video,

of the couple of things I've already talked about,

but also showing you other things that are out there,

it'll give you some knowledge to talk about

why it isn't good and some alternatives

that you could maybe present to people.

So here's some other things that I suggest.

One of the first ones is one that I developed

is about number sense, and it is not standards based,

it is norm-referenced, all of that kind of stuff.

It's based upon things that kids are lacking.

So you can't like check off a standard.

Yep, they've got this.

It is all around number sense concepts.

And there's a link below this video

to all of the resources I'm gonna talk about in the video

but this one does link to my stuff.

It's to the Freebies page,

and one of the freebies on my page

is the number sense assessment.

And that is looking at ideas that are not necessarily taught

in your standards but that kids need

in order to perform the standards to do well

with the content at their grade level.

Now the other thing I would encourage you

is if your school is wanting to look at computation

and specifically the facts, like do they know their facts,

I would highly encourage you to move towards using

the Math Running Records because they not only focus on

did they get it right but they look at analyzing strategies.

Do students have flexibility?

How are they trying to solve these problems,

not just did they get it right or did they get it wrong.

So Dr. Nicki is the go-to person on Math Running Records

and I highly suggest hers because number one, they're free.

You can get the book, but she has them all posted,

just the general running records, on her sites.

Don't pay for some on Teachers Pay Teachers.

Go directly to Dr. Nicki

because she has based them upon research.

They are very specific tasks that you give to the students

to be able to dig out the strategies that kids are using.

So if you need computational stuff,

look at Dr. Nicki's Math Running Records,

and again, the link is below here.

The third thing I would recommend

instead of what's commonly used

are all of the assessments from New Zealand.

You guys, if you, I mean, I'm gonna link to their site.

It can take you in some magical places.

New Zealand has some amazing resources

and two of them are the IKAN and the GLoSS assessments.

Now Graham Fletcher did a session about these

during the Virtual Math Summit

and if you attended that, you saw the whole thing,

but I'm also link a quick little video,

it's like two minutes, that Graham does talking about

the power of using an in-depth assessment basically

because IKAN and GLoSS, they take longer to give,

but they're more in-depth.

Here's the fact, guys.

If you want something quick and easy,

you can get quick and easy assessment

but the information you gain from it will be teeny-tiny.

If you want a wealth of information

about your students' understanding,

then you have to have an assessment

that goes a little bit more in-depth,

and you personally need to give it

because there's so much that you can glean

by giving the assessment yourself,

and the video I'm gonna link to down below

of Graham Fletcher talking about it

just really talks about why that is so important

and how you're giving up time to do an assessment,

but it will allow you more time to focus on the things

that are really important for your students.

So I want you to watch that short little video

of Graham's as well.

So again, I want you to really look at the assessments

you're giving at the beginning of the school year

and is it giving you information

that really can inform your instruction,

and if it's not, then I would encourage you

to look at those three alternatives

that I'll link below this video.

So I hope that this has given you some information about

progress monitoring with your students

and has helped you build your math mind

so you can go out there and build the math minds

of your students.

Have a great day.
