House Intel Chair Drops Bombshell on Obama Zero Evidence of Trump Russian Collusion

The chairman of the House Intelligence Committee has made a made a bombshell statement about

Democrat allegations of Russian tampering with the presidential election to help Donald

Trump and its exactly what liberals dont want to hear.

In an interview in the Capitol excerpted on Fox & Friends last week, Rep. Devin

Nunes, R-Calif., stated that there is currently no evidence of collusion between the Kremlin

and the Trump campaign. This is a huge blow to the liberals who have made it their agenda

to try to prove Trump needed Russian help to win the American presidency.

They just cannot stand the fact that Trump won because he was elected by the people.

The best part about Nunes statements is that Trey Gowdy, the Bulldog Republican

from South Carolina, agrees with him!

Check out Gowdys interview on Fox & Friends here:

I think Chairman Nunes put his finger on it twice, in the clip you just played, and

its the word evidence,' said Gowdy, a career federal prosecutor. I come from

a background that is evidence-centric. Im not interested in summaries, I cant deal

with anonymous sources. I need witnesses, I need facts, and I need evidence.

He went on to state later that focus needs to be put less on the witch hunt for which

no evidence actually exists, and more on the fact that a small universe of people

are leaking classified information and further threatening American national security.

Its a small universe of people who would have had access to the underlying conversation,

any summaries, and then what ultimately ended up in The Washington Post, Gowdy said.

Youre not talking about 300 million people. You might be talking about 30. So

you need to find those 30 and apply whatever pressure is necessary from a legal standpoint

through your investigation, because leaks are going to destroy these programs.

The liberal Obama-lovers can continue to spew stories from anonymous sources, but nothing

is going to change the fact that the House Intelligence Committee is still going to operate

within the parameters of verifiable evidence. Dont expect to hear this on mainstream

media.

Spiritual Awakening Crash Course – 3 Things You REALLY Need To Know - Duration: 7:01.

Spiritual Awakening Crash Course 3 Things You REALLY Need To Know

by Gregg Prescott, M.S.

As the world exponentially awakens, many people are trying to find the truth as to why things

have played out this way so far as well as finding his or her own inner truth.

While the journey of enlightenment is a trip for the sole soul, it can be expedited through

specific core teachings within the esoteric, metaphysical and spiritual genres.

1.

All thoughts are energy

Dr. Masaru Emoto showed us the importance of consciousness, as evidenced by his work

with thoughts and their affects on water.

In the famous double slit experiment, it shows us how our consciousness determines outcomes:

Through Dr. Emotos work and the double slit experiment, we can clearly see how all

thoughts are energy.

What to do: From this point forward, it is imperative to be cognizant of where youre

placing your thoughts.

This doesnt mean that you cant have one single bad thought.

Weve all had them.

The most important aspect is to learn from these thoughts and to understand why that

particular thought arose.

Sometimes, these thought will come to us as a way of reflecting that of which we need

to work upon, so try to look at it from an objective observer perspective and youll

know exactly why that thought occurred.

You can practice sending the thought pattern of unconditional love anytime youre out

in public.

For example, if youre at a mall, simply smile at people but in your mind, say, I

love you. The smile alone can change the world in a positive way, but sending love

to another person will magnify the effect 1000x.

And remember, according to the Law of Attraction, what you send out, you will receive.

2.

Beware of the New Age deception

For many, this is what attracted us into spirituality.

While there are many fascinating new age teachers, one must question everything.

For example, who is Archangel Michael?

Depending on which source you talk to, youll get answers that hes anything from a healer

to a protector.

When you break down the etymology of Archangel Michael, you get ARCH(on)ANG-EL(ohim) MichaEL(ohim).

The EL in angEL and MichaEL stands for god (lower case), as these are the gods

that are spoken of in the bible where it says Let US make man in OUR own image.

Ive seen this time and time again from various channelers who channel such archangels.

For a short period, they will be told the truth by these entities, but eventually, they

ALL seem to get misled.

Why?

Because theyre not looking within as their higher source of power and are giving their

energies away to these so-called archon-angels.

Its not just archangels in the new age deception.

Its any belief system that takes away your divine power.

It could be a cult UFO following who expect us to be saved by our galactic brothers and

sisters.

Saved from what?

Ourselves?

What to do: This does not deny the existence of angels or why theyre here.

Many people who have had an out of body experience will testify that angels are real and theyre

here with us every day.

But there is a big difference between angels and archangels.

While angels may be looking out for our own best interests, theyre not specifically

telling us what to do and have no apparent agenda other than loving us unconditionally.

This also doesnt deny channeling but its important to note that your primary channel

should be your higher self or your oversoul instead of someone who ultimately has an agenda.

Once again, question everything, including the tunnel of light that we all seem to pass

through upon leaving the physical body as well as any agendas on the other side of the

veil, such as the need to sign a soul contract or reincarnating without being able to maintain

the physical memories of your previous lives.

3.

Know the importance of raising your vibration

If all thoughts are energy, then your body is a walking representation of your energy

vibration level.

As evidenced by the Schumann Resonance (SR) (which is basically the heartbeat of the planet),

the SR has been rising and has reached as high as 8.90.

For thousands of years, it has typically been at 7.83.

What this is telling us is that our planet is raising her vibration and is giving us

the opportunity to do so with her.

Those who run this planet know the importance of energy vibrations, which is why they keep

us living in fear.

By doing so, we are once again giving away our power in exchange for perceived security

and freedom, neither of which exist.

What to do: Turn off the TV.

Dont go to the movies to watch horror flicks.

Dont buy the newspaper.

Basically, keep away from all forms of mind control because none of these sources have

your best interests at heart, only THEIR profits

Meditate.

You dont have to go to some yogi retreat on a mountain top.

You can do a walking meditation to clear your mind or simply sit in nature and connect.

Do your INNER work.

Every answer you need can be found within but in these hectic times, no one seems to

be able to find the time to go within, yet they can find the time to watch American

Idol or the latest sporting event on TV.

While doing your inner work, you can also send that energy outwards to cover yourself,

your home, your city, state, county, planet or universe.

Your energy is unlimited, so why keep it all to yourself?

Once youve eliminated the fear, youll find that your dreams become more prophetic

and your occasional nightmares will go away.

Your dreams are basically your litmus test on where your psyche is at because your subconscious

will not lie to you in your dreams.

If youre aware of these three concepts and are practicing them as often as possible,

then youre definitely on the right path!

STEVEN COLBERT--WHEN ALL OF THE

LATE NIGHT SHIFT HAPPENED, HE

WAS THE GUY THAT YOU THOUGHT, IS

HE GOING TO BE THE RIGHT FIT?

HARVEY: I LOVED HIM ON COMEDY

CENTRAL.

CHARLES: PEOPLE THOUGHT MORE OF

AS A POLITICAL CABLE KIND OF

GUY. I DIDN'T UNDERSTAND IT.

LES MOONVES IS THE C.E.O., THE

GRAND POOH-BAH AT CBS AND HE IS

A GENIUS.

LES MOONVES FROM WAY BACK IN THE

DAY HE WAS THE GUY WHO SAID I'M

PUTTING GEORGE CLOONEY ON E.R.

AND HE IS THE ONE WHO PUSHED

THAT AND EVER SINCE THEN HE'S

COME UP WITH DECISION AFTER

DECISION.

CHARLES: CAN WE GET BACK TO

COLBERT.

HARVEY: WHEN LES MOONVES PICKED

COLBERT I THOUGHT GOD THAT WAS A

BAD DECISION.

WRONG AGAIN AND LES RIGHT AGAIN.

THIS IS THE QUESTION YOU ASK

BECAUSE REMEMBER HE PICKED

COLBERT BEFORE TRUMP GOT ELECTED

AND AT THE TIME WHEN HE FIRST

WENT ON THE AIR HE WAS LOSING TO

JIMMY FALLON AND THIS IS WHAT WE

ASKED LES.

>> SINCE COLBERT IS POLITICALLY

OUTSPOKEN DID YOU ANTICIPATE

TRUMP WINNING THE ELECTION WHEN

YOU CHOSE HIM?

>> IT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH IT.

I JUST THOUGHT HE WAS AN

AMAZINGLY TALENTED GUY AND

WHATEVER WAS GOING ON IN AMERICA

HE WOULD COMMENT ABOUT IT.

>> YOU ARE VERY TALENTED.

ARE YOU SAYING IT IS JUST A

COINCIDENCE YOU CHOSE HIM?

>> NO, IT IS NOT A COINCIDENCE.

HE WAS GREAT. I NEEDED

SOMEBODY TO REPLACE HIM.

>> WE ASKED HIM IF COLBERT WOULD

DO AS WELL IF HILLARY GOT

ELECTED AND HE PAUSES THEN HE

SAID YES.

CHARLES: HE HAS TO SAY THAT.

HARVEY: HE IS BEATING FALLON AND

NUMBER 1 IN RATINGS LAST MONTH.

CHARLES: I THINK IT IS FAIR TO

ASSUME COLBERT IS BENEFITING

FROM THE SAME THING THAT RACHEL

MADDOW IS BENEFITING FROM.

IF YOU ARE KNOWN AS

EXTREMELY CONSERVATIVE YOU ARE

GOING TO HAVE BIG NUMBERS.

IF YOU ARE KNOWN AS EXTREMELY

LIBERAL YOU WILL HAVE BIG

NUMBERS.

>> I THINK PEOPLE ARE GETTING

TIRED OF FALLON WITH THE SKITS.

HE KEEPS DOING THE SAME

THING.

HE LAUGHS AT ANYTHING HIS GUESTS

SAY.

>> HAVING SAID THAT I STILL

WOULD STOP SHORT AT CROWNING LES

MOONVES LESTRADAMAS.

LETTERMAN WAS GOOD WITH

POLITICAL STUFF.

HE USED TO HAVE O'RILEY ON

THERE.

CHARLES: HE WAS DIFFERENT.

>> HE WAS A LITTLE MORE STRAIGHT

COMEDY BUT HE WOULD HAVE

POLITICAL PUNDITS.

HARVEY: ABSOLUTELY.

CHARLES: COLBERT CAME FROM --

HARVEY: YOU ARE RIGHT.

THEY DO IT IN MONOLOGUES BUT NOT

IN THE MEAT OF THE SHOW.

BUT COLBERT WAS DIFFERENT THAN

ALL -- LIKE YOU SAID, WAS REALLY

DIFFERENT THAN ALL OF THE OTHERS

BECAUSE IT DIDN'T COME FROM

POLITICS.

CHARLES: HE CAME FROM A

POLITICAL BACKGROUND.

HARVEY: THERE WILL GO ON FOR A

LONG TIME AND WHAT I'M HEARING

IS PEOPLE AT NBC ARE TRYING TO

FIGURE THIS OUT AND WHAT DO THEY

DO AND TRY TO TURN FALLON INTO

MORE OF A POLITICAL GUY WHICH HE

IS NOT.

>> I HEARD FROM SOMEONE THAT

THERE IS KIND OF A PLAN TO DO

THAT, SOMEONE WHO I KNOW USED TO

BE WITH FALLON BEFORE WHEN HE

WAS THE SECOND SHOW AND THERE

ARE SOME PEOPLE THAT DON'T

REALLY LIKE THAT IDEA.

HARVEY: IT IS A DANGEROUS IDEA.

CHARLES: YOU CAN'T MAKE FALLON

-- THAT WOULD NEVER WORK.

HARVEY: IT IS A DANGEROUS IDEA

BUT HOW DO YOU COMPETE.

ANYTHING TRUMP NOW IS SO

RELEVANT AND YOU EITHER LOVE HIM

OR LOVE TO HATE HIM AND THAT

DRAWS VIEWERS.

YOU SEE IT IN FOX AND MSNBC.

THEY ARE BENEFICIARIES BECAUSE

THEY TAKE A STAND AND WHEN YOU

ARE IN THE MIDDLE YOU DON'T DO

AS WELL.

TO ME, IT'S CLEAR THAT IS WHAT'S

GOING ON IN THE RATINGS.

>> BRITNEY FROM HOUSTON, TEXAS.

I DON'T THINK IF YOU WANT TO BE

ELECTED THAT COLBERT WOULD BE

DOING AS WELL.

TRUMP IS POLITICS AND

ENTERTAINMENT SOMETHING THAT

ROCKS BUT --

COLBERT ROCKS AND JIMMY FALLON

DOES NOT.

HARVEY: SO DO YOU WAVE THE WHITE

FLAG AND BECOME BRITAIN NUMBER

TWO.

RAGAN EVEN LIKED THAT.

Holographic Universe - Duration: 9:37.

Holographic Universe

by Rich Fiori,

A hologram according to Webster is a three-dimensional image reproduced from a pattern of interference

produced by a split coherent beam of radiation (laser).

There are several components to the creation of a hologram.

The first component is the object to be reproduced.

The second component is the split beam of radiation.

The third component is the mirror setup.

The fourth component is thepattern of interference.

And the fifth component is the holographic plate or film.

Together they compose a holographic image on the holographic plate or film.

The wave characteristic of light is essential to the creation of a hologram.

A hologram is a photograph that does not use a lens and records both the phase and the

amplitude of the images.

Upon viewing, this technique provides us with a 3D image using a 2D lens-less photo.

Phase in this context is based on the wave properties of light.

A simplistic explanation uses sine and cosine waves as an example of two waves out of phase

by 90 degrees.

Two sine waves would be considered in phase as would two cosine waves.

In these examples, both the sine and cosine waves have the same frequency, which is the

number of times the wave crosses the horizontal line (called the x axis) divided by 2.

If waves have different frequencies they are by definition out of phase.

The amplitude is a measure of height (peak) of the wave, in other words, distance up from

or down from the x axis.

In our example, the peak of one wave might be higher/lower than the other.

When discussing light waves, amplitude is a probability factor rather than an actual

property of height.

This is important because light is essential to many phenomena in physics including holography.

In holography a laser is split into two beams.

One beam is directed at the object to be photographed.

The other beam is deflected using two mirrors and intermingles with the reflection of the

object (from the first beam).

This creates a unique pattern that is captured on a holographic plate (film).

The pattern is completely encoded on the film with no discernible characteristics.

The most important thing about this encoded film is that if you cut out a piece of it

no matter how small or irregular, then shine a laser through it, it will reproduce the

entire object.

However, the image does get more out of focus with smaller pieces of film.

This means the information needed to reproduce the object is everywhere on the film (non-local).

Additionally, holographic plates are capable of storing multiple images simply by changing

the angle of the laser beams.

For retrieval, just use the same angle used to produce the image and only that image appears.

For this reason, there is a significant amount of information that can be stored on a one

square inch (6.45 square centemeters) of film.

It is on the order of 100 average size books.

Fourier

Jean Fourier developed a way of reproducing any complicated wave pattern using a set of

simple waves.

This reproduction is called the Fourier transform.

The Fourier transform is a mathematical method that is both simple and elegant that uses

sine and cosine waves (sinusoids waves) to represent the original wave forms as the sum

of sine and cosine waves.

This sumation is known as the Fourier Series.

The Fourier series can be used for all periodic waveforms: electromagnetic (such as TV and

cell phone), and sound.

An example of Fourier series would be a synthesizer that uses sine and cosine waves to reproduce

any and all instruments.

The Fourier transform is an integral function (calculus: integration) that describes frequency

and amplitude in more amenable ways that make the original function easier to analyze.

Additionally, Fourier transforms are completely reversible to the original function (calculus:

derivative).

(Nota bene: when viewing the Fourier transforms, one cant help but notice the similarities

to probability wave functions.)

Using Fourier transform techniques any picture can be converted into a holographic interference

pattern on a holographic plate and back again.

The intriguing part of the Fourier transform technique is that it is wired into our brain

and used for many functions including sight.

In other words, our eyes/brain converts what we receive as phase and amplitude encoded

light waves into a holographic plate image using Fourier transforms then displays that

to our mind as a three dimensional image.

Bohm

This opens to the idea that three dimensional reality is a hologram.

Enter David Bohm.

As explained in a earlier discussion the Copenhagen Interpretation of reality suggests nothing

has form until observed.

Before that, it has probability and nothing else.

When thinking of the universe as a collection of distinct things, a paradox arises based

on a thought experiment called the EPR paradox.

However, when thinking that nothing is actually an independent thing then the paradox goes

away.

This way of thinking is dubbed Interconnectedness, that is everything is interconnected to everything

else (the language is unable to actually describe this phenomenon since there are actually no

things nothingness).

Bohm proposed this idea, which he called quantum potential.

This shattered the idea of causality and either refined or redefined the Copenhagen interpretation.

He proposed that Consciousness and the external quantum world were in fact one indivisible

thing.

He also pointed out that the whole universe is one coordinated system and that location

as we know it does not exist.

Another conclusion of Bohms work theorized that everything is ordered (as in Chaos Theory).

These conclusions were supported by Einstein and they served to debunk the idea that there

is something faster than the speed of light.

Bell

John Bell proposed a thought experiment that showed there is no such thing as local

reality if quantum mechanics is true.

He essentially proved that everything is interconnected to everything else in the universe and thus

nothing is actually just local.

Stated more succinctly the statistical implications of quantum mechanics do not agree with a version

of reality that contains only local specifications.

The Universe

If we look at the universe as if it were a holographic plate then there are no thing

images in the universe and everything in the universe is interconnected to everything else.

Also, there is no local reality in the universe.

Nothing is reality as we know it in the universe.

However, as we observe the images in the universe (on the plate), we see there is an order to

them.

And through our native Fourier transform, we see local and far away objects, etc.

We observe time passing through this mechanism.

The creation of the way we think (our physical bodies and what and how we are taught) about

the universe is responsible for our ideas about duality, which is born out of the idea

that everything is fragmented.

The same is true for the duality of Consciousness separated from the quantum world.

There are no separate entities in the universe, they are actually one continuous holographic

plate and hologram.

Conclusions

The whole is indivisible.

There is no local reality.

Thus, the universe is holographic.

Light waves are quintessential to understanding the universe, especially since light is involved

with every determining aspect of our understanding of the universe.

This has been sitting there waiting for us for a while.

We are already wired to accept it once we understand it.

It requires a change in perception intellectually and an acceptance emotionally by us in order

to understand more fully the true nature of the universe (aka us).

Light and what it truly provides is still a mystery to science.

It is involved in a fundamental way with and at the center of all the discoveries in physics

for the last hundred or so years.

There is no difference between this science and perennial philosophy.

There is no duality there.

They are one entity attempting through us to find themselves.

Duality is a fabrication of the mind brought on by the way we think.

Our languages and teachings vividly represent and foster the duality concept

Former president Park Geun-hye due to leave home for questioning - Duration: 3:21.

Yes... of course... and for state prosecutors as well... with such a political heavyweight

being questioned... thanks for that report Hojun, we appreciate it.

Now... we turn our focus on what it looks like around the former president's residence

in southern Seoul.

Our Shin Se-min is standing by just outside her house.

Se-min, there must be a lot of chanting from Park's supporters... and a heavy security

presence.

What are you seeing now?

Yes,... there's definitely a heavier level of security now... around this entire area

close to Park Geun-hye's house.

We had seen some activity in the early hours of the morning,... but the level of police

presence is growing by the minute,... adding to the tension.

In the past couple of minutes,...

I've seen rows and rows of police filtering in to surround the residence of the former

president.

Some of the die-hard Park supporters who have been camped outside the house for days have

either been removed or were asked to leave by police,... as they had being causing a

bit of a scene, shouting out their disdain over the Constitutional Court's impeachment

decision.

We know that

Park and her legal team had spent Monday preparing for today's questioning session for hours,…

but we have not seen any of her lawyers here this morning.

In regards to when she leaves,... all we know is that she is due at the prosecutors' office

by 9:30 AM.

We still don't know the exact time of departure,... but when she does, it will be the first time

Park has left her house since she came back from the presidential office more than one

week ago.

And, Se-min... despite her impeachment, Park Geun-hye will receive the same level of guard

and escort... as a respectful treatment for a former president.

So when she does leave, she is set to be guarded by the presidential security team.

What is her route looking like from her residence to the prosecutors' office?

The former president will be flanked by a sizable police presence.

We hear it won't be exactly the same as when Park left the presidential office of Cheong

Wa Dae little over a week ago, when the security services cleared the roads ahead of her convoy

and controlled the traffic signals,... but we'll have to wait and see.

The expectation is that it will take around ten minutes for her to go from her house to

the prosecutors' office.

It'll be a short ride,... ahead of what will likely be a long day... that may stretch late

into the night...

Jihye?

Prosecutors to interrogate former President Park Geun-hye - Duration: 3:08.

It sure is going to be a long, hectic day for the former president as well as prosecutors...

thanks for that report, Semin.

And now... we go over to the Seoul Central Prosecutor's office where our Hwang Hojun

is standing by... the office will be Park's destination in around three-and-a-half hours

from now.

Hojun, this is a critical moment for the ex-president, what's the atmosphere like there right now?

Jihye, you're absolutely right.

Once again, the eyes of a nation will be fixed, here at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors'

Office, located in southern Seoul... not too far from Park's private home.

Reporters and camera crew that were given exclusive access beforehand by the office

have been preparing for the arrival of Park Geun-hye since before the crack of dawn.

As Se-min mentioned,... Park, the country's first democratically-elected leader to be

ousted, is set to show up at 9:30am to undergo the prosecution's interrogation.

Questioning Park is only possible now she no longer has her presidential immunity, which

she lost when the Constitutional Court upheld an impeachment motion against her over the

sprawling corruption scandal that continues to grip Korea.

She faces 13 charges,... eight filed by the prosecution and five charges additionally

filed by an independent counsel,... including bribery, abuse of authority and leaking state

secrets.

Park has denied all 13 charges.

Now, the big question is whether the state prosecutors will seek an arrest warrant.

Usually an arrest warrant is issued to prevent the destruction of evidence, or when there

are concerns the suspect might be a flight risk.

Some argue a warrant is unnecessary... as there's a low possibility of Park fleeing,

since she's the former president.

On the other hand, others insist an arrest warrant is inevitable given the severity of

the charges and Park's continued denial of them despite the arrests and indictments of

most of her alleged accomplices.

But as the prosecutors haven't confirmed anything, we'll have to see what happens.

It's going to be a historic day and one filled with tension.

Hojun, can you walk us through what we should expect today, from what we know so far?

Absolutely.

Before entering the building, Park will make a brief stop behind the press line, where

reporters will shout out questions.

Park is expected to deliver a prepared message there,... but we have no idea what she plans

on saying or if she will respond to any questions.

From there she is expected to head to the 13th floor where she will have a short meeting

with ranking officials from the special probe team, before her actual interrogation.

The interrogation will likely take place in the investigation room on the 10th floor,

equipped with video and audio recording facilities.

Park is summoned as a criminal suspect so her Miranda Rights will be read as well.

The prosecution is expected to fire a plethora of questions regarding the allegations...

and the questioning is likely to go past midnight.... so it's going to be a long day for the former

president.

Back to you, Jihye.

S. Korea's embassy in China opens separate WeChat account to better warn S. Korean nationals - Duration: 2:00.

Anti-Korean sentiment is spreading in China, fuelled by anger and opposition to the deployment

of a U.S. missile defense system on South Korean soil.

It's designed to protect the country from North Korea's missile attacks, but Beijing

perceives the THAAD system as a threat to its own national security.

To keep South Koreans in China out of harm's way, Seoul has opened a messaging application,...

to get safety-related information to its citizens more efficiently.

Connie Kim reports.

China's apparent yet still ongoing retaliatory measures against Korean companies in China

over Seoul's decision to deploy THAAD,… has prompted the Korean government to take

a more active approach to better warn Koreans in China against possible dangerous situations.

The Korean embassy in Beijing had previously warned Korean nationals to refrain from going

near anti-Korea protests, as well as refrain from frequenting densely populated locations.

The embassy last Friday opened up a separate account on the popular Chinese instant messaging

application WeChat under the ID Korea0404, set to be only accessible to Korean nationals.

"Before this account was opened, Korean nationals in China received safety-related messages

through our embassy homepage or by email.

But now, Koreans in China will receive instant messages on their mobile."

China's apparent retaliatory measures over the deployment of the U.S. military hardware

to the Korean peninsula... hit Korean conglomerate Lotte Group the hardest, with up to 90-percent

of its stores in China being shut down or notified to do so as of March 19.

With the Chinese government showing no will to back down from its economic retaliation

against Korea, officials at the Korean embassy in Beijing don't expect the anti-Korean sentiment

What to expect from Park Geun-hye's appearance at prosecutors' office - Duration: 2:30.

As we have reported earlier,... Park Geun-hye is not the first former president to undergo

a prosecutors' investigation.

All of those who went before her apologized to the Korean people.

Will Park express similar sentiments?

For more on the words... she may have prepared for a public wanting answers, Song Ji-sun

reports.

Lawyers for former president Park Geun-hye confirmed that she will stand in front of

the press... and deliver a message to the nation... although they did not elaborate

on what the message will include or how long it will be.

This will be her first public address since leaving the top office.

Park will likely avoid sending a political message... or making remarks that can legally

affect her charges or trial - leading to speculation that her message will be concise, or a simple

apology to the nation.

In a message delivered by her former spokesperson when she exited the presidential office of

Cheong Wa Dae - she implied she will fight legally to prove her innocence... and did

not state whether she accepts the Constitutional Court's decision to remove her from office.

" "It may take some time, but I believe the truth will surely be revealed."

Korea's former presidents who faced prosecution after their terms,... said they were sorry.

Roh Tae-woo for instance apologized in 1995 - for charges stashing funds... and Roh Moo-hyun

in 2009 - for bribery charges.

Bribery is also a key charge that the prosecution is vying to question the impeached president...

but Park has been claiming she was not even aware of the allegation.

"It is such a far-fetched scheme.

There wasn't the slightest intention of helping or benefiting anyone, nor did such idea ever

emerge in my head."

After not showing up at the Constitutional Court to defend herself during the impeachment

trial... nor undergoing investigation by the prosecution nor an independent counsel while

in office...

Park will finally undergo a face-to-face questioning over more than a dozen charges,...as the nation

awaits to hear some much deserving answers.

Top U.S. nuke envoy arrives in Seoul amid growing concerns over Pyongyang's provocations - Duration: 0:49.

The U.S. special representative for North Korea policy, Joseph Yun, arrived in Seoul

on Monday night after meeting with his Chinese counterpart in Beijing,... amid rising concerns

over Pyongyang's provocations.

No details of his itinerary have been disclosed yet, but Yun is scheduled to meet with his

South Korean counterpart Kim Hong-kyun on Wednesday.

Yun's trip comes right after U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson's three-nation Asia

trip last week, in which he stated that a 'new approach' was needed to denuclearize

Pyongyang after two decades of failed policies.

While in Seoul,... Yun is expected to share the results of Tillerson's meetings in Beijing

and exchange views on how to coordinate policies against North Korea.

So much for the Russian threat Putin slashes defense spending while Trump plans massive buildup - Duration: 4:12.

So much for the Russian threat Putin slashes defense spending while Trump plans massive

buildup

by DANIELLE RYAN

Russia, led by supervillain Vladimir Putin, intent on the domination and destruction of

the Western world, has just slashed its defense budget and no one really noticed.

Figures from the Russian Federal Treasury show that the defense budget has been cut

by 25.5 percent for 2017, falling from 3.8 trillion rubles to 2.8 trillion rubles.

IHS Janes, one of the most authoritative sources on defense news, said the move represents

the largest cut to military expenditure in the country since the early 1990s.

Lets put this in context before we move on: The cuts come after significant military

budget increases in recent years (averaging about 19.8 percent a year since 2011) as Putin

sought to revamp the Russian military and replace a massive chunk of Soviet-era hardware

by 2020.

Theres also some quibbling going on over the figures used by Janes.

Some experts believe the cut is more like 7 percent when the impact of debt repayment

to defense industry firms is taken into account.

Either way, the Russian defense budget is being cut and not insignificantly at

a time when were being told Moscow is a grave threat to peace-loving people everywhere.

There are a number of reasons for the cuts, the most obvious being that the Russian economy

has been put under pressure due to Western sanctions and reduced oil and gas prices.

So no, the cuts dont come from the goodness of Putins heart but its clear that

he doesnt see Russia as being on course for major military conflict with the West

in the immediate future.

When the cut was announced, it was met with radio silence in the West.

A search for Russian defense budget on Google News brings up not a single mainstream

source that treated this as a significant news story.

Its hard to imagine the same reaction had the news been that Russia had increased rather

than decreased its defense spending.

Even the most modest increase would very likely have set off a chain reaction of scare-mongering

reports about the Russian bear.

The reality is, a decrease just isnt that interesting because it doesnt fit with

the narrative that the evil Russkies are fully intent on taking over the world, one trembling

and defenseless nation at a time.

Military men on both sides of the Atlantic have been using the Russian threat to

convince governments to throw more money into defense budgets for years.

In 2015, the Pentagon used the idea of war with Russia as a public rallying cry to stave

off budget cuts.

Instead of responding with laughter and the appropriate facts, much of the media advocated

on the Pentagons behalf, propagating the idea that perhaps the United States really

would struggle to match Russian military power in a head-to-head.

In the case of the U.S., the hyping of the Russian threat is particularly ridiculous.

Think of it this way: In his first budget proposal, President Donald Trump seeks to

increase U.S. defense spending by $54 billion.

That 10 percent hike in American military spending would amount to 80 percent of Russias

entire military budget and thats before the recent Russian cuts are taken into account.

The U.S. spends around $600 billion yearly on its military.

Russias spends one-tenth of that amount, roughly $60 billion.

With the new cuts, Russia will go from the fourth-largest military spender in the world

to the eighth-largest, falling behind India and France.

Former president Park Geun-hye due to leave home for questioning - Duration: 2:49.

It's a huge day for a country looking for answers from its disgraced former president.

Park Geun-hye will set off from her private home in southern Seoul in a few hours to face

state prosecutors' questioning... over her corruption allegations... that brought down

her political career.

The former president's house is where we start today.

Our reporter Shin Se-min is outside her residence.

Se-min, is there much activity there at the moment?

It's still before the crack of dawn,... but we are already seeing some activity here,...

plenty of police,... some citizens and reporters milling around... and cars going by.

You can see behind me the brick wall that rings Park's house.

You can also see the heavy police presence and a sizable number of the former president's

supporters who have been camped out here since her arrival around a week ago.

We have been told that Park and her legal team had prepared for today's questioning

session for hours on Monday,… but we have not seen any of her lawyers here this morning.

In regards to when she leaves,... all we know is that she is due at the prosecutors' office

by 9:30 AM at the latest.

We may not know what time she leaves until a fleet of cars pull out on to this street,...

but it will be the first time Park has left her house since she left the presidential

office more than one week ago.

And, Se-min... when she does leave... what kind of security will she have?

I imagine it won't be the same as the fleet of police and security service vehicles that

escorted her back to her house from the top office roughly 10 days ago... now that she's

no longer the president....

We don't know for sure,... but the former president will be flanked by a sizable police

presence,... but the level of escort is likely to be different from before.

We hear it won't be the same as when Park left the presidential office of Cheong Wa

Dae little over a week ago, when the security services cleared the roads ahead of her convoy

and controlled the traffic signals,... but we'll have to wait and see.

Given that Park is being summoned for questioning as a *suspect, and that she was forced out

of the office,… only the minimum level of security service will accompany her to the

prosecutors' office.

The expectation is that it will take around ten minutes for her to go from her house to

the prosecutors' office.

It'll be a short ride,... ahead of what will likely be a long day... that may stretch late

into the night...

Jihye?

"pain in the butt" Bizmates無料英語学習 Words & Phrases Tip 239 - Duration: 3:33.

Hey, everyone! Welcome to this Bizmates words

and phrases video series and today's

idiom is "a pain in the butt."

Okay, it's not a clean idiom, okay? I must warn you but

you know it's one that's commonly used

in the office and it's helpful to know

what it means -- a pain in the butt -- okay?

You know what a "pain" is, right?

I have a pain in my shoulder, I have a pain in my stomach.

Your butt is your bum. Here's your bum...

So you have pain in the bum

but it has a special meaning, okay? So what

does this mean? We'll find out but first

let's look at what I sometimes hear:

So let's imagine that I'm talking to my

colleague, Taro, and we have a new printer

in the office, okay?

And in this new printer is complicated,

it breaks down. It's... it has so many buttons.

It's difficult to use. So I say: Taro,

this new printer is so difficult to use.

And Taro says: Yes, it is troublesome.

OK, this sentence is okay -- it is troublesome --

you know, it has many problems, bothersome,

it's not good... but it just doesn't sound

very natural when you're speaking to a

colleague about some problem.

Okay? So instead of troublesome, Taro can

sound more natural by saying this

So I say: You know, Taro, this new printer is

so difficult to use. And Taro says:

Yes, it's a pain in the butt.

Very natural! Pain in the butt.

It's troublesome, it's just it's a pain.

You know, it hurts right here... it's just...

it's frustrating. It's a pain in the butt.

And we can use this with people too.

You could say he or she is a pain in the

butt -- someone who causes trouble, okay?

And you know "butt" is still... "butt" is still

kind of clean, okay? There are other words

you could use which are not so good but

"butt" is still acceptable.

OK so let's look at pronunciation.

Yes, it'sa paininthe butt.

Yes, it's a pain in the butt. You try.

Good. OK with my sentence:

This new printer is so difficult to use.

Right. It is a pain in the butt.

Perfect. OK so for homework, I want you to

tell me someone who is a pain in the

butt. Okay? Maybe someone at work,

someone at home, one of, you know... someone in

the family, I don't know. Okay? Someone who

causes trouble -- stress -- to you.

OK so someone who is a pain in the

butt. Think about it and we will see you

next time. Thank you.
