so today! tadaa a Korean viewer sent me these Hotteok mix packages so I'll be making them today

tadaa guys look they even sent me the recipe here its written in Japanese Thank you so very much for that

and there is this as well its a tool used for making hotteok

I've had Hotteok when I was in Korea for a gig they were so amazingly delish

I'm so in love with them K, I can't wait lets start making them

tadaa this is the hotteok mix so here is the hotteok mix jam packet and some yeast

first take the yeast and mix with 40 degree water

and then add our mix

mix for 5-10 minutes

these are the jam mix packets

its got an aroma similar to nuts

cover your hands in oil

grab a handful then put some jam into the middle

this is kind tough...

reminds me of making a meat bun

looks so delish its a pancake sized hotteok

tadaa they're complete this side is the normal ones and this side is green tea flavored

they all look so delish I've only had these in Korea and Koreatown

you hardly ever get a chance to try these out and it makes me so glad to be able to have them

itadakimasu starting with the normal ones

these are bigger than the ones I've tried in Korea

theres so much in here

this is what they look like

the stuff inside has a bit of a cinnamon flavor to it and its got this yummy graininess to it

the dough is so soft chewy and warm

its so soft and chewy and since its fried its also very crispy as well

the sauce was powdery when we put it in but when its made it transforms into a syrup

that's why when I had these before I thought they put some honey cinnamon sauce inside these

well it appears that, this is not the case its turned into a honey like syrup inside and its so delish

next is.. uhh wait what is this again?

mmm the dough has a slight taste of tea it reminds me of a wormwood sort of flavor

the sauce inside is the same

ahhh... nothin' beats warm and sweet treats like these they make me so happy

so when I was frying these things with a bit of oil something happened when I was flipping them over

some oil jumped out and can you guys see? I burnt myself

its starting to blister

take that as a note to be careful when cooking

I never knew that you could make them on your own they didn't taste any different from when I had them at a store

hi it's AlaskaGranny I just got back

from a trip to the Dollar Tree where I

found seed packets four packets for a dollar 25 cents each the Dollar Tree

had a quite a selection of seeds I know they were

picked over there were some kinds of

seeds I was looking for that were not

available but I found a wide variety and

I wanted to share with you the kind of

vegetable herb and flower seeds you can buy at the Dollar Tree

four packets of seeds for a dollar a nice variety of

lettuce peas pumpkin several varieties

of peppers spinach cabbage two kinds of

carrots garden beans squash I would have

liked to have found some zucchini they were

just not available there were other

varieties that my family does not eat so

those I did not purchase seed packets

from the Dollar Tree may not include as

many seeds as varieties that you would

pay much more for but they are only 25

cents each and it's clearly marked the

weight of the seeds tiny seeds in

milligrams and then larger seeds in

grams so you could use that to compare

to other seed packets that you may

choose to buy I was able to find some

herbs but only sage and parsley so I'm

going to try to go back and see if I can

find some more varieties on another day

I was very excited to find varieties of

heirloom seeds at the Dollar Tree heirloom seeds produce

plants that you can collect and save the

seeds and they will sprout again a lot

of the modern seeds have been treated or

changed or genetically modified or some

process has been done to them so when you

collect the seeds many times they will

not continue to sprout and you cannot

continue to save your seeds and plant a

garden in the future if you're

interested in Prepping and you may want

to garden in the future this is a good

chance to stock up on heirloom variety vegetable

seeds if you want to collect heirloom

seeds and you want them to last you

need to be sure that you keep the seeds

in a cool dry place your packages are

just paper and you don't want them to

get any moisture in them so you can seal

them away in a ziploc bag squeeze out as

much air as possible and then seal the seed packets

up in something like a Christmas tin it's

going to help protect your seeds so

they'll be viable when you decide to use

them I was also able to find varieties

of flower seeds at the Dollar Tree of flowers that I know

will grow well in my climate in Alaska

so I got lots of flower seeds at the Dollar Tree at 25 cents each

I can scatter the seeds around my garden and enjoy some

extra summer blossom just like any

standard seed packet the back of the

package will give you directions it'll

tell you when to plant the seeds how long it

takes for them to germinate how deeply

to plant the seeds how far apart to space

them and how long until you can harvest

your plants so read on the back of the seed packet and pay

attention to the little map that shows

you the climate and the date for your

region of where you live when to plant and how to plant seeds from the Dollar Tree look also on

your seeds for the sell-by date so that

you know which year your seeds were packed for

so that you know you're buying the

freshest seeds ever the seeds can continue to

be stored carefully and last much longer

just know that there is a date on there

of what year you're expected to use them

while I was choosing my vegetable and flower seeds at Dollar Tree I met a

lady who told me last year she bought Dollar Tree

seeds planted one packet of tomato seeds and produced

110 tomato plants all which

grew and produced tomatoes that's pretty

good success with the Dollar Tree seeds seed packets

I'm Sick Of 'Spider-Man' Movies, But This New 'Homecoming' Poster Is Great - Duration: 1:46.

It feels like a new Spider-Man reboot is always lurking just around the corner.

Before the dust had even settled on Toby Maguire's trilogy of webbed superhero flicks,

Andrew Garfield had donned the mask. And now we have Tom Holland swinging

into the picture when Garfield's Spidey is still warm in the grave.

Sometimes it feels like Marvel and DC are just seeing who can make the most Spider-Man/Batman reboots

No doubt in a few years I'll be saying the same thing all over again. That Batman alumni,

Michael Keaton, is the villain in this new Spider-Man flick only drives the point home.

Yes, I'm sick of Spider-Man movies (and, The LEGO Batman Movie notwithstanding

sick of the Caped Crusader, too.) But I can't help but love the new poster Sony

Sony put out for the upcoming Spider-Man.

I like this because it says a lot about what we can expect from the new Spider-Man movie and this new

younger take on the world's most beloved superhero.

Honestly it reminds me a little of Deadpool, and not just because they both wear red.

It's an attitude thing. This is how I picture Spidey, as someone at least a little carefree

and adventurous rather than merely angst-ridden or love-struck.

I mean, this could still be a good movie, but I'm worried that Justice League is just going to

be more Dark and Dreary, overly serious and too slow by half. And this poster does nothing to help me get over those fears.

Switching from Beginners Method | Weekly Cubing Topicals - Duration: 3:58.

When's a good time to switch from beginners to a more advanced method?

Today, I'm gonna try and answer that question but first a question for you, what's the

best time you've got with the beginner's method?

Welcome to another Weekly Cubing Topicals!

So before we begin, in the background we've got some solves using full beginners method.

So the daisy to cross, inserting bottom layer corners with one alg, edges and so on and

so forth.

With this method you should be able to get to around 1:30 no problems at all.

Just make sure you're comfortable with the steps you're performing, the algs that you're

using and have also got down some basic fingertricks in and throughout your solves.

These steps should help you get to consistently averaging 1:30 which is a very fair time.

If you're not averaging that yet, then I would recommend for you to keep practicing

because if you try and switch to a different method too early then a lot of the time it

will just add confusion and you won't be able to grasp the concepts that you need to

apply the method well and it won't be as beneficial as it could be if you were more

familiar with the cube and how it moves.

But of course everybody is different so use your own judgement too but that's just my

recommendation.

Once you think you're down with beginners method then there are a couple pathways to

head into speedcubing wise.

The three biggest methods are CFOP also known as Friddich, there's also Roux and ZZ.

Now all three methods have their pros and cons and they're all able to achieve great

times.

There isn't really a best method to use, however, CFOP is the most common method that

people use, the most similar to the beginner method and the most used and developed method

out of the three.

There are still some world class Roux solvers though, just more in CFOP, and there is just

more resource on CFOP.

With that said, I'm going to continue the video assuming that you are going to learn

CFOP, because that's what I use and what I'm most familiar with.

But again, do your own research toward Roux and ZZ, they're brilliant methods too and

could suit you perfectly.

BTW, my previous video is on my 5 best tips for improving on beginners method.

If you're looking for some tips that might help you sort of transition between methods

then I will place a card up on the top right hand corner.

Anyways, with beginners method right now, I'm able to average sub 40 seconds and I'm

sure with more practice you could get a little faster but I'm gonna tell you right now,

don't get to that stage.

At least not with a FULL beginners method.

By 1 minute you should have well and truly learnt or maybe realised that there are much

better ways to solve the first layer of the cube, assuming you're using the daisy and

1 alg corner method and then anywhere between 40 – 60 seconds would in my opinion also

be a grand time to start learning some intuitive F2L.

If you don't know, F2L stands for First 2 Layers and it's learning to, after the

cross, insert a corner and edge at the same time.

This will really really help your solves once you get this down.

But again, don't try and learn this too early, make sure you have a decent understanding

of the cube or your current solving method first.

So overall, I think that the best time to switch is anywhere around 40-60 seconds but

it will vary from person to person.

If you're sitting around there then consider looking into Roux, ZZ or CFOP, CFOP being

the most common.

And even if you're not ready to switch you can keep learning new things to improve on

your current method and eventually make the transition into your new method easier.

But yeah, that's all I've got to say on this.

so today! tadaa a Korean viewer sent me these Hotteok mix packages so I'll be making them today

tadaa guys look they even sent me the recipe here its written in Japanese Thank you so very much for that

and there is this as well its a tool used for making hotteok

I've had Hotteok when I was in Korea for a gig they were so amazingly delish

I'm so in love with them K, I can't wait lets start making them

tadaa this is the hotteok mix so here is the hotteok mix jam packet and some yeast

first take the yeast and mix with 40 degree water

and then add our mix

mix for 5-10 minutes

these are the jam mix packets

its got an aroma similar to nuts

cover your hands in oil

grab a handful then put some jam into the middle

this is kind tough...

reminds me of making a meat bun

~so fun~

now to make the rest like this

perhaps I'll make them a bit bigger?

heat some oil and fry up the hotteok

random sizes ...

flip when done

then use our tool to press down on it

oh since we're going to press them I wasn't supposed to make them like this lol...

welll... I've gone and done it haven't I

looks so delish its a pancake sized hotteok

K looks delish !

tadaa they're complete this side is the normal ones and this side is green tea flavored

they all look so delish I've only had these in Korea and Koreatown

you hardly ever get a chance to try these out and it makes me so glad to be able to have them

itadakimasu starting with the normal ones

these are bigger than the ones I've tried in Korea

theres so much in here

this is what they look like

the stuff inside has a bit of a cinnamon flavor to it and its got this yummy graininess to it

the dough is so soft chewy and warm

its so soft and chewy and since its fried its also very crispy as well

the sauce was powdery when we put it in but when its made it transforms into a syrup

that's why when I had these before I thought they put some honey cinnamon sauce inside these

well it appears that, this is not the case its turned into a honey like syrup inside and its so delish

next is.. uhh wait what is this again?

tea flavored

I'll now eat the tea flavored one

mmm the dough has a slight taste of tea it reminds me of a wormwood sort of flavor

the sauce inside is the same

ahhh... nothin' beats warm and sweet treats like these they make me so happy

so when I was frying these things with a bit of oil something happened when I was flipping them over

some oil jumped out and can you guys see? I burnt myself

its starting to blister

take that as a note to be careful when cooking

final mouthful itadakimasu

gochisosamadeshita these hotteok were so amazing delish

I never knew that you could make them on your own they didn't taste any different from when I had them at a store

they were so delish special thanks to the person who sent me these

hello guys and welcome to a new review

video let's get started d reviewing the

table tops 24 tip cake decorating kind

of set um the because this is not my

area of expertise my lovely wife is

going to be helping lb her hands you see

in this video tonight as we kind of

review this and see how it works ok this

is not my area of expertise either I've

actually never used this so this is more

for beginners just to see what the set

is like it does come with 24 tips and

the reusable piping bag and two couplers

I actually to look up what these did so

basically if you want to just use if

you're using the same tip for all your

cupcakes you don't have to use a coupler

you'll just drop the tip in

and fill the bag with icing and you're

good to go but if you would like to

switch out the tips and use you know

different different patterns and between

your cupcakes you can use the coupler to

switch it out quickly so you don't have

to clean out the bag are to remove the

tips in between so I'm going to do that

they're these in here are all removable

so you can kind of and put it in any

pattern that you want I there's I think

there's at least 24 spots if you want to

lay them flat I put them up like this so

I could fit the couplers here in the bag

here I saw a couple people use if you

take these out you can put em food

coloring or different things so and

anyway these are all removable the ones

i'm using ok so to do the coupler it's

each one is two pieces you take the

larger one and slide it to the bottom

I guess just get it as smug as you can

choose your tip I have never used this

before ever so I don't know what smells

like exactly but put it on put the

second piece over it and then it's tight

and to do the icing at this point you

can fill the bag with your icing i'm

using a trick that I saw online I don't

have any idea that's going to work or

not you can google the saran wrap trick

I don't know if it'll work but we'll

give it a shot obviously I don't really

know what I'm doing we're just gonna see

how this goes probably you'll just want

to fill it with icing but I wanted to

try this trick see you at heart

allegedly you're just supposed to be

able to cut this off and it will come

through so we'll see it doesn't work

I'll do it the regular old boy okay and

then I guess it's just supposed to come

out and we'll see obviously I've never

done this before but you get the idea

that looks like

it's kind of fun it's try a different

tip and see

okay so I'm taking that off I'm gonna

pick just I don't know what that's all

just a circle put the couple of a kind

that is nice and quick to switch it out

if you want to use different pattern

haha

I am excited to try all these different

tips and see maybe look up some tips on

how to make them look pretty and not

like a six-year-old did it but try one

well I'm having fun I can't guarantee

the quality as far as a professional

grade because I've obviously not done

this before but at least I can testify

for a beginner I think this is great and

I am looking forward to trying all the

different tips and see what we can make
