The reason the game is set in Louisiana
is because we felt the Southern Gothic movie feel was
a good fit for the game concept
we had in mind.
So we started doing some research,
first just on Google, and we saw some areas
that had the right atmosphere.
But you have to see a place for real
to know if it has got
the right atmosphere.
I wanted to find out for myself
if the location was suitable for the game
so I got permission to go on a research trip.
I thought that a very rural, isolated area
in somewhere like Louisiana
would have the atmosphere we needed,
and while the place we visited
wasn't that rural, the buildings like the
plantation houses were so historical, and were quite
different from the pristine mansion
of RE1, while also having nice details
like "Resi-esque" doors.
It looked like a great fit so I took a lot of photos,
and shared them with the team when I got back.
Everyone felt that it was a good fit for the title,
so we decided on creating the mansion assets.
The next step was for a capture team to go
out to Louisiana and take texture references,
and use photo scanning to capture certain buildings
and objects from the location
that we wanted to put directly in the game.
From choosing Louisiana as the setting
to finding everything we needed for the game,
it all turned out very close to how we imagined it
so it was really useful research.
The first job I was given was the characterisation of
the character we called "Daddy" at the time,
who you will now know as Jack.
At the time he was just a violent, monstrous killer,
which is still a part of his character,
but I had suddenly been given the very important job
of fleshing him out and thinking about what kind of presence
I could make him have beyond being a killer.
Jack has a certain duality,
so I added aspects of him as a father
and head of the family as well as his murderous aspects.
It was really a process of trial and error
to see how to bring out this characterisation.
It took several months and I remember being really stressed
as I tried to get to the end of that process
of how to create Jack.
We created Jack to not just be a monster.
He's tough
and he relentlessly pursues the player,
and while we've had stalker-type characters
before in the series,
what's new and important about Jack
is that he can talk to you.
Also, I've always been a big Stephen King fan,
and The Shining is a big inspiration for me.
In fact, the two Jacks in that film,
where Jack Nicholson portrays the character
Jack Torrance, are why I chose the name Jack Baker.
That's how much I love it.
Jack is different from previous Resident Evil enemies
because we could finally create an enemy
with both human and monstrous sides.
We've created all kinds of different scenes
for Resident Evil 7,
and I have several favourites.
One is where the Baker family sit around the table
and invite Ethan to join them for a meal
and a shocking dinner scene takes place.
We actually redid that scene from scratch.
The original version of the scene was rather different:
Jack and Marguerite were originally
more of a happy couple.
But I thought as a horror game
it was the wrong direction,
and the director, Nakanishi,
was in complete agreement with me.
He said "this is the kind of scene we should make"
and he filmed himself and some team members
acting out the scene. It was really great,
and we felt it would work really well in the game.
That's the version you ended up seeing in the game.
It really lets you understand
the insanity of the Bakers immediately.
I really like it.
Once the dinner scene concept was in place,
to settle on the content,
we did some pre-visualisation
where we actually acted out the scene
with a video camera as a test.
That was pretty quick and easy to make.
At an early stage I felt that in order to make a scary game,
the team need to have some scary experiences.
Osaka has quite a few famous haunted places,
so we took a camera and checked them out.
In Japanese we call it kimodameshi: a test of courage.
It really was terrifying!
So I wanted the team to think about
how to make people feel the same way
when they play the game.
We hadn't really done this before in developing a game,
or even at events or anything, and it might seem a bit trendy,
but we used a GoPro to film various scenes
and we used those experiences to feed back
into the game development.
That was really fun.
That actually fed into the idea
of the found footage in the game
I called it a test of courage,
but the scariest things were when you go around a corner
and jump at your own shadow, or someone behind you
steps on a branch
and cracks it and you jump out of your skin.
We used some ideas from that experience in the game too.
Another scene that I like
is one which shows how much Mia loves Ethan.
Ethan is trapped and Mia rescues him
and stays behind and sends him off to escape.
I think this scene nicely showed the love
between the two of them.
It shows that even in a horror game like RE7,
we have to remember how important the
bonds are between people.
If you just slightly twist them,
you end up with something like
the crazy world of the Baker family,
but with this scene, I wanted to say that
at heart, people do have these feelings
for each other,
and it's one of my favourite scenes.

Africa's MEGACITY: Future MEGAPROJECTS - Duration: 7:26.
This is Lagos, Nigeria the largest city in Africa.
Home to more than 22 million people, it's facing a perfect storm of challenges.
So let's look at how this megacity is trying to modernize.
The biggest challenge Nigeria faces is a population pyramid that's overwhelmingly bottom heavy.
61% are younger than 25—that's a lot of jobs to create and houses to build in the
coming years.
This problem is made worse by the extremely poor condition of the city's infrastructure.
Badly designed and maintained motorways cause people to endure agonizing commute times,
and interrupted access to electricity causes regular blackouts.
Add in the threat of a rising ocean that's steadily eroding the coastline, and the future
of this place looks bleak.
But perspective is relative, so let's gain some.
165 years ago Lagos was an island fortress and one of the principal roots of the slave
trade, until the British navy bombarded it into submission and abolished the practice.
But slavery wasn't outlawed in Northern Nigeria until 1936.
That means any Nigerian older than 85 can probably still remember slavery, or was a
slave themselves.
In 1960, Nigeria gained independence from the British.
But, the country quickly became engulfed in a civil war that killed as many as 3 million
people.
In the dark aftermath of this bloody conflict the country had one thing going for it: oil,
which provided a consistent source of income.
But the temptation of controlling all that black gold attracted deeply corrupt men, and
Nigeria endured decades of violent struggles between power-mad dictators and military officers.
With just two legitimate presidential elections under its belt, in 2011 and 2015, Nigeria
has only had six years of truly peaceful, independent — not completely corrupt — democratic
rule in its entire history.
All this upheaval was amplified by strong ethnic and religious divisions throughout
the country.
So for the federal government to appear legitimate, the capital had to move away from Lagos to
a more centralized, neutral part of the country.
Following in the footsteps of Brazil's master-planned capital, Brasilia, the Nigerians built an
entire city from scratch during the 1980's.
The relocation of thousands of government workers drove migration to this new capital,
Abuja, the fastest growing city in the world from 2000 to 2010.
Unfortunately, while Abuja thrived, Lagos languished.
With the city far away now it became even easier for deeply corrupt federal officials
to neglect the megacity's needs.
But the its downward spiral is quickly changing direction thanks — largely — to one man,
the current governor of the state of Lagos, Akinwunmi Ambode.
Ambode earned his Master's in accounting from the University of Lagos and studied abroad
in England, Switzerland, Singapore, and at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government in
Boston.
[Osoba]: "Everything about this man is outstanding, everything about him…
He is someone who does not leave a place without changing it for the better."
Now 53 — with a long career serving the people of Lagos under his belt — Ambode
hit the ground running upon his election in 2015.
He immediately began holding regular town hall meetings.
This helped him tailor his plans to best affect positive change for citizens that they could
see and feel.
He installed a team of competent deputies who've helped him implement his mega-master
plan of targeted micro projects to drastically improve conditions throughout the city.
Lagosians are already feeling the benefits of his less than two years in office.
[Citizen of Lagos]: "Today we are happy because the government have done a perfect
job here.
Now we can have a good access roads to get to our homes.
And you can see business around this area, they are doing very well."
By making road fixes his first major task, Ambode wisely accomplished several important
things that any new leader should immediately set out to do:
1) He gave his team a series of small, achievable goals to accomplish, allowing him time to
weed out bad people and fix flawed management processes that bog down efficiency.
2) He gave himself some time to become comfortable in his new executive role and familiarize
himself with the levers of power.
And 3) He gained the trust of the people by doing something simple, but important: completing
a project that everyone wanted, on-time and on-budget.
Now that his government is working well, Ambode is well positioned to tackle much more complex
problems like improving the efficiency of the bus system; building a massive urban rail
system; providing all citizens with uninterrupted access to electricity; cleaning up Lagos'
badly polluted environment; partnering with private industry to try and give all Lagosians
access to affordable food, housing, and health care; and improving the pay of police, first
responders, and security personnel.
In addition to the construction of several bridges and other traffic improvements, Lagos
is also installing 6,000 new street lights and 13,000 Closed Circuit Television (CCTV)
cameras and security sensors for surveillance and crime prevention.
These efforts are working: Lagos was named the most security and safety-conscious state
in all of Africa last year, and Ambode was named Nigerian governor of the year.
By leading the mega-overhaul in the way civil society conducts itself, Ambode represents
one half of the equation in creating a modern Nigeria.
He also seems perfectly positioned to go on to serve as President and lead his people
on their quest to claim their rightful place as Africa's powerhouse country.
The other half of this modernization equation rests largely on the success of two key mega-projects
under construction in Lagos and Abuja: Eko Atlantic, a financial hub that's being built
on reclaimed land along the coast; and Centenary City, a gated luxury mini-city outside of
Abuja where elites will live and stay while conducting business in the capital.
[Builder] "The goal is to establish Lagos as the financial hub and commercial hub of
the continent of Africa."
Geographically, Nigeria is centrally-positioned to lead Africa's emergence in the second
half of the century, but it must approach development carefully.
With many parts of Lagos, and the rest of the country, living in squalor without good
jobs or adequate housing, spending tens of billions of dollars to build playgrounds for
the rich runs the risk of making the majority of the Nigerian people feel neglected, and
angry.
In fact, the Centenary City project in Abuja is already tainted by allegations of corruption.
Another challenge facing Lagos is the unstoppable rising sea level, which will eventually submerge
most of the existing city.
It faces the same dilemma as many other coastal metropolises around the world: stop building
on land that will likely be completely underwater by the end of the century and start building
inland, or live for the immediate future by building where people want to live now, along
the waterfront.
I'm confident that you'll be hearing a lot more about Nigeria and it's rising star,
Governor Ambode, as the confronts these challenges head-on in the years ahead.
I'm glad you enjoyed our previous video in this series about the push to land humans
on Mars.
It started some interesting exchanges around colonizing space generally, how to specifically
reach mars in the most efficient way, and what we should call the global space agency
I proposed forming to make it happen.

Masked Ink Blending + Zig Clean Color Markers - Duration: 7:21.
- [Kristina] Hi everyone, Kristina here,
welcome to another card video
at my YouTube channel and blog.
Today, I'm going to be using this cute stamp set
for Pretty Pink Posh,
and I'll do some masking as well.
So, I'm going to be creating a square card today,
so I have my card stock here cut to 4 1/4 by 4 1/4,
and we'll trim that down eventually,
but for now, this is the size I'm working with.
So, I have this heart dye that I'm working with.
This is one of the dyes from The Nested Hearts,
a dye set from Simon Says Stamp.
I'm going to be masking with that heart,
and so I just wanted to have that kind of in the works
here so I could envision where my stamping would be.
So, I stamped the little girl and also the balloon
using some black ink.
I'm going to be doing some water coloring
with Zig Clean Color World Brush Markers,
so I used a VersaFine onyx black ink for that.
I also stamped some additional versions
of those images onto masking paper
so that I could cut out the images and mask off
those areas to protect them.
So, here I am creating another mask
using some masking paper,
and I've cut that paper to 4 1/4,
so it's the exact same size as the piece I'm working with.
And then, I die cut that heart out of the center.
And I'll place this mask over my project.
There's a little bit of a gap at the very bottom,
so I'll just use some post-it tape to mask off
the rest of that area.
So, I'm going to be doing some ink blending on this,
and I'm starting out with the color Seedless Preserves.
So, the paper I used for the stamping area
is actually Bristol Smooth Paper from Strathmore,
and Bristol Smooth has kind of coating on the top of it,
so when you blend on top it just glides over
and it's really super easy to blend.
But also, I've noticed that because of that coating,
it doesn't absorb the ink as much,
so you can tell as it blends onto that masking paper
it really soaks in the ink,
and then the color kind of fades out
once it comes into the center of that heart,
because that is where the Bristol Paper is.
So, just an interesting fact that I just realized
as I've been doing some blending is how different papers
absorb the ink,
and they absorb the ink in different ways.
And I really love blending on Bristol Paper
because even if you kind of accidentally stamp down
with your foam tool,
you still have the opportunity to kind of blend that out.
So, the other colors I used were Chip Sapphire,
Peacock Feathers, and Tumbled Glass.
So, I'm gonna peel back all this masking,
and you can see the nice clean edge of that heart mask.
And I just love how it looks like the heart
is behind the little girl and her balloon,
I think it's really fun.
So, I peeled off the heart mask,
and then I'm also going to peel off
the little heart balloon.
And you'll notice that I stamped that heart balloon
a little higher up,
so I'm going to take a black pen and just extend
that down until it meets her hand.
I'm using a Pilot Envelope Addressing Pen,
it is waterproof and perfect for adding
any additional details or fixing any lines on an image
you're going to be watercoloring.
So, I'm using some Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers,
it's a tongue twister,
and also a water brush,
and I'm doing really, really simple coloring today.
I'm not doing anything super intricate,
but I did want to let you guys know
that I thought about the colors I would be using
while I was doing the blending.
I knew I wanted to have quite a bit of blue on this card.
I'm making this for a specific person who loves blue,
and so I thought it'd be really fun to have blue
on the heart, and then also have the little girl
wearing quite a bit of blue as well.
So, I'm adding her hair color in and I wanted her hair color
to be brunette, kind of like me,
so it's sort of like a card I'm sending to a friend
and I'm holding the balloon.
I thought that was kinda cute.
And then, I'm going to color her sweater pink
and then bring in a little bit of purple to darken it up
and add a little more interest into that color.
And then, to further that sweater and make it look
even more adorable,
I'm going to bring in a white gel pen
and add some little polka dots on her sweater.
So, I'm just adding some random dots,
and that just adds a little bit of interest
since the rest of this card is quite plain.
I added some shadow underneath her
so that it gave her a little bit of ground to stand on.
And now, I'm going to work on the greeting.
So, I'm prepping my area with the powder tool,
and I tested it to make sure it was okay to move on
since that distressed ink does take a long time to dry,
and it turned out to be just fine.
So, I'm using my Misti tool once again,
and I'm positioning the greeting over the top
of my masked and colored piece,
and I'll pick up that stamp,
and then I'm going to use some VersaMark Ink
to stamp this, and then I'll be doing some heat embossing.
So, I'm once again using my powder tool
just to be safe,
and I'll add some VersaMark Ink over to my greeting stamp
and then I'll swing the door of the Misti over
and stamp down onto that heart area.
So, I'm using some Hero Arts White Embossing Powder,
and I'll sprinkle that on
and then I'll tap it with my finger to get off
the rest of the excess.
I'm using a heat tool to heat and melt
that embossing powder until it's smooth,
and then I ended up trimming this down
to about four by four.
I wanted my finished card to be 4 1/4 by 4 1/4,
and I wanted to have this piece a little bit smaller
than the card front.
So, I'm using some Neenah Solar White 110 Pound Card Stock,
and I squared that at 4 1/4 to create a square card,
and then I put some foam tape on the back of this piece
and placed it down onto the folded card.
To finish off the images and to give a little more interest,
I'm going to add some Ranger Glossy Accents
right over this balloon,
and it's going to give the balloon a nice glossy finish,
especially after it dries, it has a nice gloss to it
and a little bit of shine.
And that will finish the card for today.
Hope you guys enjoyed, this was a really fun,
and simple, and easy card to make.
I think I could recreate this over and over again
for multiple occasions.
Thanks so much for watching,
and I will catch you guys in the next video.

My friend Josh bought a LaFerrari Aperta! - Duration: 14:04.
What are the chances to see a LaFerrari Aperta and
what are the chances to have the keys of one of those?
I think I'm running out of words this time, I'm speechless! Just wow, look at that!
Ciao everyone here it's Marchettino and today I'm catching up with my friend Josh Cartu which is the owner of this extremely rare LaFerrari Aperta!
Josh is here today at Imolafor a training session with his brand new Ferrari 488 racecar.
I mean, showing up to the track with your LaFerrari Aperta to drive your brand new Ferrari racecar, life could be worse!
Ciao Marco!
You can actually start in electric mode and you just roll in but you know that already, you've seen in the LaFerrari before.
The only difference really is the aerodinamycs package here and then in the front they turned the radiators upside down and you got a slighty different
aerodinamycs setup on the front.
So we'll just let warm it up a little bit 'cause it's been sitting here all day, once at least the motor and brakes are warm we can give it a rev! - I can't wait!
So we're trying to warm up the car a little bit because everything is super cold - Ok!
Noise is little better than the closed roof!
Yeah I've been inside the LaFerrari Coupè a few times but with the roof off, it's completely different!
There we go the motorcycle and now we can push a little bit
if we find some open space here!
Yeah the noise is fantastic!
Just a little bit difficult with the cold tires and not much margin here!
Let's try not to fuck up a 5 million euros car!
So I'm inside this car since like 5 minutes and I think this is really one of the best cars in the world!
No roof, all the way to 9000rpms oh my goodness!
Naturally aspirated V12!
It's funny how I get out my racecar and then in this, it's like twice as fast on the straight line, it's crazy!
It's unbelievable also thanks to the electric engine, it's insane at how it delivers instantly so much power anytime!
Even in 7th gear, this car is really ruining our party for us!
We'll let him go a little bit.
We're gonna catch him very soon!
Oh it was good until it lasted!
You notice there's a very little turbolence in the cabin? I mean just at the top of your head it goes.
It's not that bad!
It can do 300(kph) like no problem but 250 you can cruise with the roof off!
There aren't many cars with the roof off that can do that!
Oh we have the back tires warmed!
The breaking power is like really insane!
We're lucky!
I mean, the engine power is insane but I think it's even more impressive the power of the brakes!
On the highway you really feel it when you get the airbrake working, that's pretty exciting as well!
What is actually the maximum speed you can reach in full electric mode?
You know it?
I don't!
I didn't try, actually!
I should find out because I come so close actually running out of fuel!
I've always thought at least I can move the car at the side of the road with the electric which is nice,
this thing drinks fuel like,
like you've got 4 bars and you're like yeah I'm ok for a while, you look down red!
Which is strange actually because the TDF doesn't do that. - Really?
It's better on the gas efficiency? - It doesn't make any sense I don't know.
I would almost say,
According to logic, it must be my imagination, maybe i'm having so much fun and I don't notice time!
Maybe because you push this one much harder!
The feeling is really incredible, the diractionality, the balance, how flat it is!
It's really amazing!
In my opinion, I mean obviously I'm a big Ferrari fan,
I think right now it's the best car in the world.ì rught now.
Also in the hypercar league?
Yeah even when you get into the even really more expensive crazier stuff,
the only stuff that's crazier than this in terms of like
don't think just specification it's like I'll tell you, if it's specification it's the stupidest way to think about a car because first of all,
you have to consider you're a normal guy, you have some small track experience
you cannot take this car to the limit, ok? I can take it to the limit barely!
You really need a good experience!
You have to be quite experienced to the drive the Aperta so
you should probably consider what I call " the package " which is
you have a car, how good is it overall. If it doesn't have the best top speed but has the best acceleration, you know whatever right?
But when you undersand it, I mean you put the active dampers on and you can drive this over the craziest bumpiest roads and still have
quite good speed, then you understand the difference and why this is the best car in my opinion.
It's still quite livable as a daily car! - Really?
Yeah I mean, you don't have storage unfortunately that's the annoying part but
you've got speakers, you've got navigation - Yeah if you think at the Enzo, this is the successor of the Enzo they made a huge step forward!
There's always this talk about you know, they took the 3 hypercars, they took the LaFerrari, they took the 3 hypercars, the 918 the P1 and the LaFerrari
and there were like 2 different tests, one by Top Gear, one by the other guy, this " Hyper 5 ", all these stupid things right?
The funny thing is that people don't understand how much is the pneumatic, the tires.
We're talking about 1 second between these cars but it depends quite heavily on the tires.
The thing about the tires is
they make the biggest difference all the time, much more than more horsepower usually much more than aerodynamics much more than anything,
the big joke is that I've got a 458 Challenge which is a car that you can buy now for 100.000€ used.
You put a brand new set of slick tires on it and then you put this on the track and you're 10 seconds faster!
With a 458 Challenge which a 458 Challenge is a lighter 458, really is a road car! It's not much racecar there,
like it wasn't taken to Michelotto it's really a lighter 458 with better dampers and slick tires, right?
And it's 10 seconds faster than this!
It defies logic!
That's the big stupid thing when I see people comparing " Oh the LaFerrari is not as fast as the P1! "
Well sure it is, just change the tires!
Because you've got 6 seconds on some tires, 10 seconds on other tires, that's really what I want to post down to
is the tires, so that's all I wanted to say about that.
But even if the 458 Challenge is faster, I would take this one!
Actually, the value of this car is pretty insane, they're for like 5-6 millions right now!
We're sitting here putting kilometers on it, we should figure out that if the car will go like 10.000km in its life,
what each kilometer is worth we've travelled today!
I think every kilometer is priceless in this car because at the end you have fun and when you want to sell it, it's gonna be expensive anyway!
Back on the track and allow me to say this was absolutely unreal,
hearing this V12 shout with the roof off around the italian countryside,
I think this the best road legal car in which I have ever been into, absolutely insane!
LaFerrari Aperta, what a car!
Massive thanks to my friend Josh Cartu for making this possible and guys

wasnt wiretapped. This is true.
Trump wasnt wiretapped, but he was spied on using a different apparatus.
Shaffer then said that the leaks were political and you can tell:
CLEARLY THEY WERE AFTER GOSSIP BECAUSE IT WAS POLITICAL, SHAFFER SAID.
Shaffer then added that Trumps references to the wiretapping have totally changed the
game!
This needs to be aired everywhere!
*** SHARE this if you think that Trump was wiretapped and Obama should be in jail for
this!
This was criminal and there is more and more evidence coming out to say that Trump
is right.

THE STORY OF JOHNNY CRESTT WITH GARYVEE & JAMES ALTUCHER - Duration: 4:53.
- [James] So, I'm in the cubicle,
I'm a marketing manager for Crestt Toothpaste--
- [Gary] Yes.
- [James] and I'm like sick of it.
- [Gary] Yes.
- [James] And I want to break out.
- [Gary] Yes.
- [James] Incomes are going down.
I'm worried about my job. - [Gary] Yes.
- [James] They're outsourcing everything to China.
- [Gary] Yes. - What should I start to do
or look at? - The first thing you should do
is you shouldn't have fucking watched "House of Cards"
this entire fucking Saturday.
That's the first thing you should do.
- Okay.
- If you complain, and by the way,
you could make $20,000 a year and not be complaining.
So this is not about how much success you've had.
This is complaining.
This is oh, wo is me.
I'm in this cubicle.
You're complaining to yourself
and even worse and I know you guys,
you're complaining to others.
Your spouse, your girlfriend,
your brother, your mom.
If you are complaining,
the first thing that has to happen is the elimination of
Madden, the softball team, "House of Cards"
leisure!
Leisure is what you give up to have
the audacity to build your life
that you want.
So, if you didn't watch "House of Cards"
for 13 hours this weekend,
it would've given you 13 hours to map out
what you're gonna do to get out of that job at Crestt.
- [James] Yeah, Johnny Crestt
he eliminates "House of Cards",
eliminates the softball game,
he's ready to go. What's next?
- Self-awareness.
I believe that self-awareness is the single
best number one attribute
anyone could ever be gifted with.
Better than being good looking,
better than being super smart,
self-awareness.
I'm very comfortable in admitting that I don't know
the science behind self-awareness.
I don't know the anthropology or psychology around it.
I don't know how it's taught. (school bell rings)
I just know it's the thing
and then you do the assessment
and you take the data and you finally for the first
time in your life, Johnny Crestt,
decide you don't live life hoping
and wishing you were something
you start for the first time in your life
actually deciding what you are
and navigating around that.
So, Johnny Crestt does this.
Now, he starts to change.
He's like, "Okay, alright I want to do bigger and better things
"in my life." What's next? What's the next practical step?
'Cause that's a good practical step.
- Well, I think at that point Johnny Crestt
wants to decide if he wants to go for it or not.
Because I actually think 8 out of 10 times Johnny Crestt
after that process takes a step back and says,
"You know what? I like getting drunk
"with my buddies on Thursday night.
"I like 'House of Cards.' I think it's kinda cool."
And he then may realize, huh,
I'm actually okay.
Like yeah, I'm not gonna be Mark--
- But let's say he's not.
- Okay, then he's not then he decides what I think,
back to Crush It!, he tries to build a business around
something he loves because if he does that it won't be work.
Johnny's now 38. Did we make him 38?
- [James] Let's make him 38.
- Johnny's now 38 and Johnny watches NASCAR every weekend.
Johnny does mixed martial,
Johnny has to look at what he does
when he's not working and build a business around that.
Let's say Johnny, 15 years at Crestt,
let's say Johnny makes $213,000 a year. Right?
What he has to do is decide is he willing to make $87,000 a
year but be a shitload happier and downsize his home
or not go on as many vacations.
These are choices, my man.
- It seems like you're always leveraging
the thing you're doing,-- - [Gary] I am 'cause
I'm practical. - for the next thing.
- [Gary] I'm scared, I'm practical. I don't want.
The only advice I've ever given in my life,
James, I'm super undereducated.
I was a D and F student in high school,
I've read like four fucking books and the only advice
I ever give is predicated on things I've already done.
Let's talk about a couple things.
There's a couple things that I want
Johnny Crestt to do in parallel.
I want him to create his Twitter account.
Twitter, even though is struggling,
and it is. Still has a big
advantage over every other platform.
Johnny Crestt can absolutely type in
Pokemon or Rock 'N Roll or UFC in Twitter search
and see other people talking about it
and I want him to engage with those people.
I also want him to tweet at Dana White
and the creator of Pokemon
and PikachuGirl47 that's the number one influencer on Twitter
and start creating these relationships on social
because it's part of the narrative.
In Twitter, they will see that you're reaching out to them.
Now, PikachuGirl47 may say I'm not talking to
Johnny Crestt but if you do it 12 times,
you know, rewarding you on that tenacity
and you start building relationships.
And try to build of value.
Don't hit up Pikachu47 and say,
"Hey, @PikachuGirl47 tell everybody about my
"Johnny Crestt Amazon account."
Watch Pikachu47 and when PikachuGirl47 says
that she needs something and you happen to be in that town
be like, "I got you." Bring value first.
- Right. - We have to reprogram,
re-brand and re-look at entrepreneurship.
Entrepreneurship is freedom.
It doesn't mean making a million dollars.
It means freedom.

Up Close and Personal With Norwegian Orcas - Duration: 2:01.
(gentle piano music)
- I remember the first time I jumped in
I was scared to death.
You know that it has the power to mangle you
in a second.
But it chooses not to, and that fascinates me.
My name is Andreas B. Heide.
I'm a sailor, adventurer,
and a marine biologist from Norway.
This is my third season in northern Norway
where I spent the winter with my boat Barba.
It's harsh and it's also tremendously beautiful.
There is no sign of people.
To me it's nature at its very best.
(upbeat music)
Our goal for this season is to
make a documentary about orcas and whales in the wild.
What makes interaction with orcas so special
is that you know that it's the apex predator of the sea,
this has a tremendous power.
Often we have to observe them from distance,
and at some points they are relaxed
and you can approach them,
and that's when you get them playful.
They're so gentle, yet so fast,
and they're so powerful yet so very calm and peaceful.
To me, these whales and the era they're in,
they're kind of the pinnacle of interacting with nature.
Once you've made eye contact with an orca
there is no turning back.
It's a moment you never forget.

Cornering Made Easy | GCN Cycling Tips - Duration: 3:11.
- This is all you need to know about cornering.
(upbeat music)
- One of the most important things to remember
is that you go where you look.
So, make sure you look at where you want to go.
Now that sounds simple but, it's all too easy
to end up looking at the very thing that you want to avoid,
like a lamp-post or a massive rock.
So, repeat it like a mantra.
Look where you want to go.
And where do you want to go?
The exits, of course.
Always turn your head and look for the point
at which the corner finishes and you're going in a
straight line again.
It's pretty easy to do on gentle curves,
but the tighter the corner, the more unnatural it feels,
to the point that even real experienced riders
can forget to do it, but don't.
It's really important.
(slow bass music)
- For anybody new to cycling, one of the
strangest sensations is leaning the bike while cornering.
But you can't corner at speed without it.
It's hardly surprising that leaning
doesn't feel comfortable.
Looking at road bike tyres with an untrained eye
is hardly confidence inspiring.
I mean, look at how narrow they are.
How can you trust that?
Well, you can.
Road tyres are much, much grippier than you think.
Yes, you need to be a bit careful in the rain
and on gravel, but on good quality tarmac,
you can really lean over.
Now I'm not saying that you have to go too far
and too fast, but it's good to know that you can.
- There's one thing that you should know about
leaning your bike over when cornering
and that is that at a certain angle,
an angle that might not feel particularly extreme,
you will hit your inside pedal on the floor
if it's facing downwards in the 6 o'clock position.
So, don't pedal through fast or tight corners.
And better than that, drop your outside pedal
to the 6 o'clock position and put your weight through there.
It makes the pedal as far out of harm's way as possible
and it actually helps to give your tyres even more grip,
making you more secure on the road.
- So, if you can get those three techniques down,
it will make a massive difference to your ability
and your confidence.
Remember, GCN is your one-stop destination
for all things cycling and you can subscribe
for free by clicking on the globe.
- You can indeed.
Tell you what videos might be relevant to you now.
Cornering is of course, a very integral part of descending
but there are other aspects to that too.
You can find our tips on descending just down here
or for our tips on riding and dealing with wet
and rainy conditions, click down there.

After the Flood: Documenting Resilience in West Virginia - Duration: 3:46.
- [Mark Trent] Nothing has been so true in my career
as shoot what I know, and what I know is West Virginia.
There's something about this state and the people
that live here, and the generosity that happens.
People aren't afraid to roll up their sleeves
and help their neighbors, people aren't afraid
to pick you up when you fall.
My name is Mark Trent.
I don't wanna say follow my dreams, because that's...
We'll get this.
I used to work in New York making commercials.
I was traveling all the time, I was living the dream,
I guess, but I was working on some personal work
in my home state of West Virginia that involves
prescription drug abuse in the region.
That's one of the reasons why I bought my Subaru,
I had to get down to West Virginia more,
that was my goal.
There came a point where I had to choose
between my life in New York and my life here,
and I chose my life here.
So when I moved back to West Virginia, I came here
to kind of focus on the projects that I was passionate about
and when the flood happened, everything was put on hold.
It was the worst flood in West Virginia history,
in a sense, and it happened in a matter of minutes.
I mean, people didn't notice until it was too late
and they were trapped in their homes.
After the storm, people from everywhere,
all over the country came to help.
That was one of the most surprising things,
the way people just banded together.
I'd lived in New York for so many years, I'd lost my sense
of community, and then just coming home and seeing that love
and that support, no one that needed anything went without
during the flood.
My Subaru, it's a part of my tool-set
that's just as important as my cameras.
I wanted a car that I could load my equipment in
and travel around.
As soon as I saw the five-door Imprezas, I was like "yeah."
I knew that this was gonna work.
I appreciate the fact that Subaru cares about the people
that I care about, people like the people in my community
that they help.
I'm doing a new film about the flood recovery.
Hopefully this documentary will be my biggest contribution
to the flood relief, because as time progresses,
people forget, and I want to sort of remind everybody
that this stuff is still happening.
Hey, Ronnie!
How are you doing?
- I'm behind ya, buddy, it gets tougher.
- [Mark] Being back in West Virginia has definitely
facilitated my passion projects again, I'm actually
present in the state and I can make work here,
and I can talk about it.
I'm not just dipping in for a few days at a time.
For me, it's not going out for a few hours
and taking pictures, it's days and maybe months.
It's presence, it's patience, it's honesty,
it's a commitment, and you're not just there
to get a picture, you're there to learn about somebody.

Tesla's Amazing UFO That You Never Knew About - Duration: 3:49.
Teslas Amazing UFO That You Never Knew About
Nikola Tesla is considered one of the most innovative and mysterious men who ever lived.
If Tesla hadnt invented and researched everything he did in his time, our technology
today would be considerably worse.
But is there something more to Tesla?
Did he in fact have contact with Aliens as he publicly proclaimed?
He is one of the most amazing inventors our civilization has ever known his knowledge
and ideas went far and beyond what was known and accepted in his lifetime.
Tesla was a Genius, and his inventions and ideas had no boundaries.
Over a hundred years ago, during the first decade of the twentieth century, Tesla filed
a request to patent a peculiar aircraft, which he called the worlds first flying saucer.
The methods used in the design of the flying saucer matched the descriptions of those who
claimed to have seen a from the UFO inside: with a discoidal capacitor with sufficient
size to provide enough thrust to fly, while other small capacitors allowed to control
the direction of the flying saucer, to which he added a gyroscopic stabilization system
and a electric drive control.
Basically it is a incredibly well designed aircraft, one that we could actually manage
to build today.
Or have we already built it?
What happened to this invention?
Why are we not flying into space with Teslas incredible invention?
While the patent was granted, the UFO or rather called IFO as it had been identified by the
insatiable imagination of Tesla, had a drawback: since the aircraft did not include an energy
source of its own, it needed to be energized by the towers of wireless transmission, Teslas
sources of free energy.
The lack of funding led to the abandonment of the development of the towers, so, eventually
the ship also fell into darkness, and Teslas UFO or rather IFO was never made.
But hold on Never?
Actually dont be so sure because the US Secret Service seized all patents belonging
to Tesla after his death for reasons of national security.
Now if Teslas ideas were insane as some had categorized them, why would the United States
secret Service seize the patents for reasons of National Security?
Hmmm lets think about it for a minute.
The ideas of ??the great Nikola Tesla are incredible and better yet, way ahead of its
time, many of his inventions, aimed at contributing towards world peace through free energy access,
but governments and financiers of the time, did not follow the progress of Teslas mind.
Years later, his groundbreaking models and technological projects were used by the Nazis
(not the way he had imagined it), and now numerous of his projects are held by the secret
service, far away from the eyes
of
the public.

TORREZ and not only - Gothic II The History of Khorinis - Andrzej Tomecki - Duration: 3:06.
Gothic II: The History of Khorinis
The world of magic is not so unstable to... Why am I wasting breath?
You won't understand this.
I repeat – leave it to those, who are experienced in the magic arts.
It's true that the task is difficult, but It doesn't mean that it overwhelms us.
I greet you warmly.
My name is Andrzej Tomecki and I'm providing a voice in 'The History of Khorinis'.
Here you have voiced… I mean this Torrez. He is a mannered and big-headed magician.
'Imagine that we are going on a mission of the highest importance. Of course, I can't tell details about it.
Me and Damarok are responsible for gathering a necessary equipment.
The problem is, that we are going to do something, which it hasn't ever been done before us.
In this case, it is difficult to tell a definition of the »necessary«.'
You heard my voice as Torrez a moment ago.
Who is Torrez?
A great magician, who's got a big knowledge,
being such an arrogant on the other side.
'However if the King approves the creation of the Barrier…
as a Fire Magician I can say with all authority… it will be hot'
I don't know whether he is sympathetic for you,
but I'm sympathetic. Seriously.
Besides, he tired me.
Really.
'YOU SCUM!'
That constant journey across sea bores me.
It can't be done forever.
Climbing up shrouds, rolling up and down sails,
walking in wet clothes, which can't be dried, because salt absorbs moisture all the time.
The boys (from SoulFire) are making a professional work and they deserve our respect.
`You've promised that you will betray your comrades! That you will lure the ship into trap!`
Best regards to all fans of 'The History of Khorinis' and Gothic.
May Innos watch over you always!

Smart Borrowing: "I'm in school and need money to pay for it." - Duration: 1:41.
My name's Rhonda, and I work for the Oklahoma College Assistance Program.
And we work with students in all phases of the student loan process.
And we receive a lot of questions kinda like this one.
I'm in school and I need money to pay for it. What now?
That's a really great question.
Let's take a look at what you can do to maximize your financial aid minimize borrowing,
and keep your debt under control while you're in school.
If you haven't already completed the FAFSA, complete the FAFSA!
It should be completed as soon as possible after October first the year before you need financial aid.
If you skip it, you could miss out on money for college.
And don't forget to keep applying for grants and scholarships.
New programs open all the time.
Keep an eye on how much you've already borrowed.
You can go to nslds.ed.gov to find a summary of all your federal student loans.
If you can, it's a good idea to make your interest payments on your student loans while you're in school.
It's usually pretty affordable, even on a tight budget.
And it can really reduce your debt over the life of the loan.
And finally, take care of your finances by creating a budget you can stick to,
and borrow only what you need to cover expenses each semester.
Visit www.oklahomamoneymatters.org for resources to help you manage your living expenses and stretch your financial aid dollars.

Beauty And The Beast: a movie review by 8-year-old MissObservation - Duration: 4:05.
So, the film starts with a pretty castle
and they're having a pretty dance that goes like this...
and then there is a line of women and here is how they dance...
And then there's a magic person.
In the middle of the dance there's a magic person
who comes into the castle with a rose
and she gives the rose to the prince and he says
"This rose is not pretty. I do not like it."
And then she's like, "But this rose is filled with beauty."
And he says, "This rose is not filled with beauty."
And then he takes it and throws it on the floor.
And then she sprinkles magic powder on the castle
and then all the people in the castle transform into materials that you use in a castle.
Like, the prince transformed into a beast
and like, some of the materials they transform into are
a light, a clock, a duster, a piano,
a dresser who likes to siiiiiiiiiiing,
and then all the things like that.

it's a small world Could Be Worse - Duration: 2:06.
A lot of people joke about how riding it's a small world can be a nightmare.
What most people don't realize is that it could be much, much worse.
Love it or hate it, it's a small world is a classic Disney attraction.
It's not only from the era of Walt, but it's one of the few special Disney attractions
that actually made it's debut outside of a Disney Park.
You see, it's a small world was a sponsored Pepsi/UNICEF pavilion
at the 1964 New York World's Fair.
Before the famous Disney songwriters, the Sherman brothers, penned the famous song we all hate
to love or love to hate, the original premise for the ride was that each section of the
attraction would feature that respective nation's national anthem.
It ultimately proved to be a mess, which in when the Sherman brothers were brought in
to write it's a small world.
But what if they didn't?
I thought it'd be fun to take a stab at mocking up what the original concept of it's
a small world might actually sound like.
I can't speak for everyone, but I'm suddenly not so bothered by it's a small world.
Which version would you prefer?
Anyway, if you'd like to learn more about the history of it's a small world, you can
check out a series I did earlier this year about all four of Disney's attractions developed
for the New York World's Fair.
Thanks for watching!

Drawing Glossaryck from Star vs. the Forces of Evil (tutorial) - Duration: 46:45.
hello and welcome welcome to the day's
live stream tutorial today we are going
to be doing drawing class Eric from star
versus the forces of evil so as you can
see what I got started with this pose
here is uh I decided to draw glossary
traditional sitting pose but what we're
doing a little differently is that we
are we're actually adding legs to to his
pose work normally normally when he is
drawn in this post his legs do tend to
be covered up by by his t-shirts or the
outfit that he's wearing so this time
we're gonna have it have his leg show so
the reference image that I used for this
is you know you can find tons of them
off of google just look like crisscross
sitting pose crisscross applesauce so I
just to put two legs in front of front
of each other then have the legs at okay
and after drawing the legs at a tube
boxes for the foot because I'm gonna be
having them hanging because most of the
time he's hanging you know he sits in
the air but it's like I'm sure his
weight it was foot is it like dangling
down a little bit
and I did like at the post you know I
did a rough draft of the pose the arms
how far they are going to be from his
body and I try to keep them at the same
length on both sides and then I just
started out with a circle and then add a
plus here so that I have a general idea
where the eyes nose and mouth will be ok
and I'll slowly get started with the
head I'm going to do like a giant pills
like pill shape for his head and then
have riddle right here where I make the
markings for the eyes right just below
it I'm going to be adding his little
like little cheek bones here cuz most
creatures who like lived for a very long
time like he's not he's not exactly a
fat person you know he's a very skinny
dude so most creatures or old people who
tend to live for a very long time who
are skinny they tend to have like their
cheekbones tend to be more defined after
a while so we're adding that and right
here this will be the placement of the
mouth I think imma have him smile a
little bit and I'm putting because
somewhat of a circle around his lips cuz
he's got like see I rather fat lips
okay and then we're going to add his
ears he has very long pointy ears so
think of it a drawing like two teardrops
here on the side of his head and just
adding the inside of those ears and
right underneath where the the bottom of
the ears that we just did we're going to
add his beard you could do like a small
circle here as a start and then right
here at the end of this circle or not
the end at the size here have the beer
point out into two sections have it
split
you just have a few a few pieces that I
hair few pieces of the hair here just
point it out kind of jagged I might add
a couple more couple of you know my
farinas to the hair okay and then have a
little bit of it come just to like the
tip at the bottom of this a chin mouth
that was part of his mouth here just the
bottom here a little bit of its curves
right here and there you go and then
we're going to add his nose he has a
very big nose very triangular nose and
since he's sort of facing towards us
like normally his nose would be like
this but since he's facing towards us
we're sort of giving a bit of like or
foreshortening by having the point of
the nose come that's coming towards us
bigger and then once it gets close to
his face cum shorter and then we're
going to add his eyes
it's just do two circles and then do
details around it I had a couple eyelids
here okay and then we're going to add
his eyebrows and then add a little
jaggedness to his eyebrows because he
has a very large eyebrows how some of
them come off the side of his head and
then with the space on the top of his
head will make with the leftover space
on the top of his head will leave room
for on his diamond
and as a second diamond inside of that
diamond and then have the outer parts of
the line connect to the middle and there
you go and we're done with the face and
that will work on the rest of the body
so from the drought that I made of like
of his hands here I'll do like just his
main skin or at least the shape of his
arms so as a very skinny guy he's got
nut he does not have much muscle to him
so I'll keep his arms thin but still
keeping like muscles around here at the
areas of the joint of the arms sorry
you
and then I'll move on to his hands now
interesting thing that you may have
noticed with glossary is that he
actually has six fingers instead of the
traditional five so we're going to add
so i did like that square for the palm
of his hand and just added a few lines
for his fingers and this is how i got
the the size of his hand
and then a curfew details of like that
bending that bend a poor bendy part of
your finger right here like on the
inside of your finger going to be adding
that and then we're going to repeat the
same over to this palm of the hand
okay and with that we'll start adding
the clothing on the cloth to do a skin
here not to his skin you get the idea we
just start adding the cloth look it's
easier to figure out how cloths going to
wrap around the body if you already have
drawn out at least up how how thick is
his skin or the placement of his arms
will be that's how you will get an
understanding of how cloth will wrap
around a person's body okay so we're
just going a little bit above where
where we already did the arm have a
small section of this movie cloth and it
looks like his robes just uh kind of hmm
I guess they are long some time like i
have seen in sell a couple episodes
episodes where they go down to his wrist
but i guess in this pose because they're
very long to come only down to like its
elbow so i'll leave a couple of folds
here like here at the elbow section
and then have some of it come to here
and then have fold here on his arm are
at his elbow and then give him and then
have like a bit of the cloth here wrap
around here almost like a muffin top
okay and now we're moving on to the
other side other other arm elbow other
side other cloth
now we're adding these little diamond
here I don't know if it's like if it's
like this gem is embedded into like his
belly button or it's just a part of the
cloth clothing so we'll leave a little
split here or no wait nevermind ok I'll
leave it like this and then we're going
to add like a little section here that's
will leave for his belt ok and now we'll
move on to his legs here move this up a
little now in some scenes we're not
exactly sure oh wait there's only been
like one scene where we've seen glossary
actually has pants I mean a couple of
time he does or you may not have pants
it's kind of interesting how they draw
this character so we're gonna get like
he has like very small pants so we'll
have it down here to like just above
where the knee his knees are
then I'm rounding out his legs here and
then i'll be adding his feet here his
little toes now i'm just going to assume
that he might have like the same number
of toes as he does with his finger so
we'll give them like six
okay and then I'll add a bit of like
some some indication of muscles in his
legs okay and with that yeah yeah with
that we are good glasburgh is a very
simple character so there's not really
much to add later on I'll probably add
some leg hairs but besides that that's
it how to add start inking out this this
drawing just real quick i'll bring up
the the livestream see if fun anybody's
left the comments during this time
you're free to ask me any questions
during this live stream
okay it is pulled up and now we will get
started on inking out this drawing with
my addictive sharpie
get rid of this market for something
that might be little better okay
ah
Oh
okay and with that next thing we can do
is start doing the give me sec okay
sorry i meant to say the start using our
thin tip sharp to do the finer details
of this drawing like the little diamond
here and then the little details on the
legs here
and then I forgot like the pupils of his
eyes are like diamonds and then I'm
adding a little detail here on to his
lips because I would imagine someone
with lips like these days probably it
look like they have dry lips
you
okay I'm just gonna wait not yet just do
this okay I'm just going to quickly do
some racing and for I do more of the
finer details here
okay and with that I'll get started with
the more of the toning the first I
should thinking how some of these lines
from my other marker my other marker was
a drawing a house why did not notice
that some of these lines were not as
filled in as they should be
huh
ok now I'm going to do like that hair a
bit of hair tones here just by using the
lines here
I'm having these lines follow the curve
made by the beard here by having it go
from here and then following down to
like the end is beer
you
okay and with that we'll move on to
touring the eyebrows I'm just using
several lines with small distance
distance between each one small gaps and
then I'll add something to the inside of
here instead of the robe
adding the little finger details that I
mentioned earlier
okay and then we're going to add little
leg hairs here there's having bits and
pieces sort of stick out out of the
lines here that we drew around his legs
and then in between each one of those
hairs we're gonna add another strand of
hair just have them go in like different
directions
and then we're going to do the same for
the other leg and I'm keeping some of
the lines on even because hairs are not
always the same length sometimes they
are sometimes the arms are not but these
strands of line look more hair like when
you do it that way and sometimes have
them banned in like different directions
okay oh just some toning in the back
here I'd a bit of shadow
just adding a bit of tones the muscle
here of in his legs and then we're going
to add two toenails
maybe some toning here around the ankle
and I add some to its cloth or I should
say to the roles of here I think the
bottom here the cloth and then we're
gonna move on over to his armpit
you
ok then I had a bit of like um shine
details here yes
I think I'll add a bit of toning here on
his belt help it stand out more some
folds here at the bottom of this cloth
and then add toning to that take a look
at a couple of filling here which is
where I take like just four lines and
then add some space in between
and then some minor toning right here in
between each and every finger
I'll move on move over to this hand to
the same
maybe I'll add a bit of toning here to
just under the cheek some mild toning
just around his head here
maybe some toning inside the ear as well
okay mmm maybe I add some here some
toning just at the end of the legs here
okay after looking it over I think we
have enough enough detail on this
drawing so yes hope you enjoyed this
