Listen: Pasta is delicious.

You know it. I know it. Everyone knows it.

"I LOVE PASTA! I mean ...

How could you not?

I'm actually recording this from a bathtub full of cooked noodles right now.

So. Anyway.

Only three ingredients go into this delectable dish: eggs, water and flour.

That gives you two main chemical components: starches, which are carbohydrates and proteins.

There's some minerals and vitamins there too.

Also, water.

The type of flour is important.

Pasta uses durum wheat, which is one of the harder varieties of wheat out there.

That makes it harder to mill, which means after it's ground up the particles of Semolina

flour are not as fine as the all purpose flour you have in your kitchen.

Since it results in larger particles not all of the proteins that are in the grain are

released.

That means that pasta dough is stretchy but not sticky like bread or cookies.

Pasta dough's stretchiness makes it easier to flatten into sheets and cut into shapes.

These days, a lot of pasta gets made by extrusion: forcing the dough through shaped holes.

Kind of like play-doh, except that you're actually supposed to eat the pasta.

At the microscopic level, pasta dough is a network of proteins holding together starch

particles that make for an overall springy mass.

The cooking process is all about manipulating the protein and the starch interactions to

get that perfect al dente pasta.

As the pasta cooks, starch particles absorb water and start to form a gel, which makes

the pasta soft and gummy.

Thanks to that tangled network of proteins, the starches are trapped inside the pasta

noodles.

If there wasn't enough protein in your pasta dough, starches like amylose would leak out,

making your fettuccine sticky and clumpy.

Some carbohydrates leak out no matter what.

If you've ever forgotten to stir your pasta, you might have found yourself trying to eat

a single clump of noodles.

It's one reason cooks like to keep their pot at a rolling boil, so the pasta pieces

keep moving and don't stick to each other.

Now the question of should I add something to the water.

Top chefs like Lidia Bastianich or Alton Brown insist on not adding oil to the pasta water.

They contend that it leaves a sheen on the pasta and the sauce won't stick.

That said … other celeb chefs like Gordon Ramsay insist on adding oil, saying it keeps

the pasta from sticking together.

Food scientists we've spoken to think most of any oil you put in the pot will be washed

away when you pour out the cooked pasta and water.

If any is left, it would not have any effect on sauce stickiness.

What you should add to pasta water is salt.

Why?

Salt is our main flavor enhancer and if you were to enter a food competition without salt

you wouldn't last very long.

Last pro-tip of your salted up pasta water: before you drain your cooked spaghetti, add

a ladle-ful of that salty, starchy water to your sauce to help thicken and delishen it.

When it comes to eating the cooked pasta the gelatinous starch helps sauce stick to your

cooked penne, and it's why you should avoid this classic mistake:

Never rinse your pasta after it's done cooking, because you're rinsing off that sticky starch.

Okay, that's it, I'm too hungry to keep going.

Let us know how your experiment with oil in cooking water goes and if that sauce falls right off your noodle or not.

While you're doing that, our partners over at PBS Digital Studios are conducting a survey and they want

to hear from you.

Do you watch other PBS Digital shows?

If so, which ones?

How do you find new shows to watch?

It takes about 10 minutes and you could even win a sweet new t-shirt.

"Husband to Bears": who is Tormund's secret lover? - Duration: 7:26.

One of the funnier, lighter moments in Game of Thrones Season 6 is Tormund's adorable

crush on Brienne of Tarth.

Brienne doesn't reciprocate, sadly, but in the books there are hints of another woman

Tormund may have a secret romance with.

You know how Daenerys is famous for having a lot of titles – she's Daenerys Targaryen,

"First of Her Name, Queen of Meereen, Queen of the Andals and the Rhoynar and the First

Men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms, Protector of the Realm, Khaleesi of the Great Grass

Sea", Stormborn, the Unburnt, Mother of Dragons , myhsa and "Breaker of Chains"

. Well, in the books, Tormund, too, has many names.

They call him "Tormund Giantsbane, Tall-talker, Horn-blower, and Breaker of Ice".

"Tormund Thunderfist, Husband to Bears, the Mead-king of Ruddy Hall, Speaker to Gods

and Father of Hosts" . Tormund's quite a different character in the books compared

to the show – he's more funny, always joking, drinking, telling tall stories.

And one tale he tells explains one of his titles – "Husband to Bears".

The story goes that one cold winter's night, Tormund was drinking alone, when he decided

to go visit a woman he knew nearby.

He went out, got a bit lost, but eventually found the woman, and, though she fought him,

got her out of her furs and had sex with her.

When Tormund woke up the next morning, he found his body ripped and torn, half his penis

bitten off, and "a she-bear's pelt" lying beside him.

Turns out he had sex with a bear, and supposedly a "bald bear" is later seen in the woods,

with "the queerest pair o' cubs behind her" . This story obviously isn't literally

true – Tormund's a notorious "bag of wind and lies" , called "Tall-talker"

after all – but there are hints that the story might be loosely based in truth, possibly

revealing a secret relationship between Tormund and Lady Maege Mormont.

House Mormont is a northern family based on Bear Island, up near the Wall.

They're led by Jeor Mormont 'til he joins the Night's Watch, then by Jorah Mormont

'til he flees Westeros after selling slaves – he ends up serving with Daenerys.

So now the leader of House Mormont is Lady Maege, who's called "the She-Bear" . So

the theory here is that Tormund's story of "a she-bear" is not really about an

actual bear – it's about "the She-Bear" of Bear Island, Maege Mormont.

And there are hints supporting this.

Tormund describes both the woman he knows nearby and the she-bear as having a "temper".

Maege is described as "stubborn", "willful", and "short-tempered".

Maege is also described as a "stout" and "strong" "warrior" which fits with

Tormund's descriptions of "a fine strong woman", and of the fighting she-bear.

It is a bit confusing whether Maege is more the woman Tormund knows or the She-Bear in

this story, maybe it's a bit of both.

But the point is that Tormund's she-bear story does seem to have connections with the

She-Bear of Bear Island, Lady Maege.

And there's more, cause Lady Maege has five daughters, though no one seems to know who

the father is, or if Maege has a husband . Maege's daughter Alysane, who herself has a couple

of kids, also apparently has no husband.

She says "Mormont women are skinchangers.

We turn into bears and find mates in the woods.

Everyone knows" . This, again, is probably not literally true, but it supports the idea

that Mormont women are metaphorically she-bears, out in the woods mating with men like Tormund.

This also could make logistical sense.

Bear Island is very close to the wildling lands beyond the Wall.

Maege says that it's because of the threat of being "carried off" by ironmen or by

wildlings that Mormont women need to be warriors . So it'd make sense for Tormund and Maege

to have met during a wildling raid on Bear Island.

In Tormund's story he claims to have carried the "she-bear" back to his home, which,

in wildling culture, constitutes a marriage – thus making Tormund "Husband" to "the

She-Bear".

Of course none of this sounds terribly consensual on Maege's part, what with the talk of carrying

off, and the fighting she-bear.

But there's reason to believe that this relationship between Tormund and Maege, if

it exists, may be consensual and positive and ongoing, partly because of the positive

way Alysane talks about the Mormont she-bears mating in the woods, and partly because the

way Tormund talks about the woman who lives nearby does sound like an ongoing relationship,

but also because an ongoing consensual relationship could better explain Maege's daughters.

Tormund says that the "she-bear" bears him "cubs" – children – maybe these

are Maege daughters, those of the mysterious unknown father.

Tormund also mentions "sons", which might mean that Maege is the mother of some of Tormund's

four sons . It sounds almost as though Maege chooses to keep her five daughters, but gives

her sons to be raised by Tormund beyond the Wall – though it's hard to imagine how

Maege could do all this secretly.

This is a lot of kids to come from a secret relationship across the Bay of Ice, so maybe

only some of the kids are the children of Tormund with Maege.

But even if it's only some, that's very significant.

Maege and Tormund may not be the first wildling-non-wildling relationship in the series – there's Jon

and Ygritte, and Gilly and Sam – but Maege Mormont is the Lady of Bear Island, a ruler

in the north – if her kids have free folk blood in 'em, if lil' Lyanna Mormont is

half wildling, that could really impact the attitudes of people in the north, who of course

mostly hate wildlings.

Bridging this gap between the wildlings and northmen is becoming more important with white

walkers on the way, and any connection between Tormund and Maege could maybe help with this

alliance.

The hatred between northmen and wildlings also adds a layer of tragedy to a relationship

between Tormund and Maege – they're separated by sides that have been enemies for centuries,

star-crossed like Romeo and Juliet with the Montagues and Capulets.

And of course by Dance, Tormund and Maege are split further apart – Tormund is at

Castle Black, while Maege is way down in the Neck, possibly involved in a northern conspiracy.

The lovers are now so far apart.

"Would that I could find her again", Tormund says.

So look there's no strong evidence for a relationship between Tormund and Maege.

Tormund's story may be just a story, and Maege's daughters may've been fathered

by some common man on Bear Island or something.

Fine.

But the hints and connections with "strong" bad-tempered she-bears are there, and the

logistics and timing could work, so it is at least fairly possible that "Husband to

Bears" Tormund and "the She-Bear" Maege Mormont get together on one cold winter's

night.

Meet the tardigrade, the toughest animal on Earth - Thomas Boothby - Duration: 4:10.

Without water, a human can only survive for about 100 hours.

But there's a creature so resilient that it can go without it for decades.

This one millimeter animal can survive both the hottest

and coldest environments on Earth,

and can even withstand high levels of radiation.

This is the tardigrade,

and it's one of the toughest creatures on Earth,

even if it does look more like a chubby, eight-legged gummy bear.

Most organisms need water to survive.

Water allows metabolism to occur,

which is the process that drives all the biochemical reactions

that take place in cells.

But creatures like the tardigrade, also known as the water bear,

get around this restriction with a process called anhydrobiosis,

from the Greek meaning life without water.

And however extraordinary, tardigrades aren't alone.

Bacteria,

single-celled organisms called archaea,

plants,

and even other animals can all survive drying up.

For many tardigrades,

this requires that they go through something called a tun state.

They curl up into a ball,

pulling their head and eight legs inside their body

and wait until water returns.

It's thought that as water becomes scarce

and tardigrades enter their tun state,

they start synthesize special molecules,

which fill the tardigrade's cells to replace lost water

by forming a matrix.

Components of the cells that are sensitive to dryness,

like DNA,

proteins,

and membranes,

get trapped in this matrix.

It's thought that this keeps these molecules locked in position

to stop them from unfolding,

breaking apart,

or fusing together.

Once the organism is rehydrated, the matrix dissolves,

leaving behind undamaged, functional cells.

Beyond dryness, tardigrades can also tolerate other extreme stresses:

being frozen,

heated up past the boiling point of water,

high levels of radiation,

and even the vacuum of outer space.

This has led to some erroneous speculation

that tardigrades are extraterrestrial beings.

While that's fun to think about,

scientific evidence places their origin firmly on Earth

where they've evolved over time.

In fact, this earthly evolution has given rise

to over 1100 known species of tardigrades

and there are probably many others yet to be discovered.

And because tardigrades are so hardy, they exist just about everywhere.

They live on every continent, including Antarctica.

And they're in diverse biomes including deserts,

ice sheets,

the sea,

fresh water,

rainforests,

and the highest mountain peaks.

But you can find tardigrades in the most ordinary places, too,

like moss or lichen found in yards,

parks,

and forests.

All you need to find them is a little patience and a microscope.

Scientists are now to trying to find out whether tardigrades use the tun state,

their anti-drying technique,

to survive other stresses.

If we can understand how they, and other creatures,

stabilize their sensitive biological molecules,

perhaps we could apply this knowledge to help us stabilize vaccines,

or to develop stress-tolerant crops that can cope with Earth's changing climate.

And by studying how tardigrades survive

prolonged exposure to the vacuum of outer space,

scientists can generate clues about the environmental limits of life

and how to safeguard astronauts.

In the process, tardigrades could even help us answer a critical question:

could life survive on planets much less hospitable than our own?

BUM BOUNCE on a trampoline - super easy! | Tutorial How To JUMP #1 - Duration: 4:20.

Hello and welcome to the new cool 'How To' series

where step by step we explain tricks from the simplest ones to the most complex.

[HOW TO jump on bum step by step]

My name is Michał and I've been jumping at JUMPCITY for ages.

So don't worry, we'll try to sort things out.

Make sure you check the video featured in the link below where I'm going to show you how to prepare for jumping,

how to warm up and basically how to jump.

Today we'll be talking about how to jump on bum, so let's get started.

[STEP BY STEP]

Let's get started with how to jump on bum step by step.

First I think it's good to see what the landing position should look like.

Pike sit.

More or less like this, making sure your back and legs are straight.

If you can't straighten your legs fully because your muscles are contracted,

you can bend them slightly.

Just don't overdo it, don't do it this way, just bend your legs slightly.

If you can do this, sit in a pike sit and start bouncing a little.

Your hips go up

and your hands make a push.

Once you feel that the height is good, you can try and stand up

This is the second part of jumping on bum

which is going from pike sit to standing up.

Now how to return to pike sit.

You can see me bouncing so to stand up

and as fast as I can I jump back on my bum.

I want to surprise myself.

Starting to make myself comfortable with landing in the sitting position,

keeping my back straight

and trying to jump a little bit higher using my hands to jump up.

DONE! Simple as that! :)

1. TAKE OFF

2. HOLD POSITION – STRAIGHT LEGS AND HANDS

3. BOUNCE BACK

[BASIC MISTAKES]

As you can see, jumping into the sitting position is something easy

but when it comes to learning something new,

mistakes are sure to appear.

Let me show you some basic mistakes

made while jumping on bum.

MISTAKE NO. 1 – THE WORST!

The worst mistake ever made is not supporting yourself with hands.

Jumping on bum should look like this.

I support myself with hands and use them to push myself up, landing steadily on the trampoline.

When I don't support myself with hands, it might look like this.

I put too much pressure on my back.

It's better to distribute the body weight evenly and to push yourself up

making it easier to stand up than jumping on your bum.

This makes it more complicated. Try to avoid this.

Another thing is uneven lading on a trampoline.

Two options – heels and bum press you to a trampoline making it difficult to stand up

and bum and heels might make you turn as in backflip.

Don't do this as well.

Jumping on bum is first going up and then falling down

Evenly. Not heels and bum or bum and heels, all at once.

This is pretty much all for today.

As you can see, jumping on bum is pretty easy

but remember to do it properly

since this will allow you to learn something more.

Oh, and the YouTube stuff :)

Keep liking, subbing and sharing!

Let us know if you like such videos.

5 Ways To CRUSH Self Doubt | How I Deal With Insecurity - Duration: 7:03.

Am I fraud?

Am I a scammer?

In today's video, gents, I'm going to talk about self-doubt and how I deal with it.

So, recently my friend, Mark Schaefer featured me in his book, Known.

Go check it out, I'm going to link to it down in the description.

Great book, I love the stories, but I was amazed that I am one of the main stories that

he talks about.

Basically, how I grew up, what I've overcome to achieve, and how I kind of built this little

mini empire in the men style area.

I'm like, wow, that's really cool.

But, I didn't expect to be at the forefront of his book and I'm honored.

But, the second feel is I feel like do I deserve this?

Am I a fraud?

Who am I?

Gosh, I mean there's so many more people deserving.

I deal with self-doubt all the time and I think a lot of you all do.

Anyone that's looking to lead, anyone that's looking to achieve things in life is probably

going to deal with this.

In today's video, I want to address self-doubt, how I overcome it and hopefully you can use

this information to overcome it yourself.

Tip number one.

Have principles and live by them.

This can be tough because we're in a society that tries to tell us to do certain things

from consumerism to actually, you know, you should be compromising on this, it's okay

to do that.

I think it takes a lot of strength to know what you stand for to know what's important

and on a daily basis to fight for that, to go forth when other people are saying that's

not right or that's not popular or that's not going get you ahead.

But, at the end of the day, you have to live with yourself and if you live by your principles,

it's going to be a lot easier when you're sitting there at the end of your life in that

bed surrounded by your family to look around and say, you know what?

I live by the principles, it defined me as a man.

Guys, it's one of the if you've got that that's what you want start you've got to start with

that.

Tip number two.

Have your cheerleading squad.

So, think about who really matters in your life and makes sure that they are surrounding

you in your life, you're spending time with them.

I know for me; my wife, my kids, my family, my close friends.

Those people I care about what they say, I care about what they think, and that's really

that's my cheerleading squad.

When things are getting me down, my wife is always there.

She's there to stand by me to make sure that everything is okay.

My kids, every time I walk in the door, there's nothing like when my two-year old, [Katya]

comes running out and just hugs my leg, and then my five-year old hugs my hip, and then

my eight-year old hugs my arm, and my son while he gives me a thumbs up from the couch.

Make sure to make time for those who care about you because they're that's your cheerleaders.

Those are the people that are going to help you get through those tough times.

Personal friends, close friends, these are friends that you invest time in, you invest

your energy in, and they're going to give back to you when you need someone to call

and you just had a tough day at work and you need someone who's up here who can either

tell you that, yeah, you know, it's not your fault or, you know you should look to redo this.

Those are the kind of people you want to surround yourself with and who you should care about

what they think of you.

Tip number three.

Keep your ego in check.

So, if you haven't read the book, check it out, Ego Is The Enemy, great book.

And what I love about this is it's a constant reminder that we start to think of ourselves

in a really high level especially when you start to taste success whether it'd be on

the athletic field, whether it'd be in the business world, whether it'd be at school,

you start to think of yourself more than what you should.

And that's the problem with ego is it goes beyond confidence.

You want to make sure that you always are humbling yourself.

I never tried to take myself too seriously.

The way I look at it in two hundred years I'm definitely going to be gone and what is

going to last what's going to be left?

And what really when people look back at this time period, what really will have mattered

and that's what I try and so, I don't call myself a guru.

Some people call me like an expert or something and that's cool that's nice, it's a compliment,

but I look at myself as the eternal student.

I mean when I look at guys like Socrates and Plato and Aristotle, they always talked about

how they were having to learn, they were always approaching things with the eyes of a child.

If you do that, you know, it really just it just puts yourself in a great point.

Some people may view that as weak, I view that as a strength because it's forcing me

to constantly get better and it keeps that ego at bay.

Tip number four.

Compare yourself to no one, but your former self.

So, that actually came out of the movie.

Let me know in the comments if you know what movie that came out of.

The point being is that to compare yourself to others really doesn't make sense because

we've all started at different points, we have different lives, we have different goals,

and it just doesn't make yourself it doesn't make sense to compare yourself.

Instead, look at yourself a week ago, look at yourself a year ago, are you in a better

position now from your physical body to your mindset to your relationships with your family.

Look to improve those things.

So, always say, okay, that's how I was, how can I get 1% better today?

If you do that year in year out, you're going to find yourself where you want to be in the future.

Tip number five.

Put in the work.

So, when it comes to talent, skill, all those things the natural ability, I have to admit,

I don't have a lot of that.

And, that can be a good thing because most of us don't have above average talents and

abilities in a lot of the fields that we're trying to excel in.

But, here's the thing is that talent is overrated, really what matters is day in day out, you

put in the effort you put in the time you put in the work.

Greatness is achievable by anyone.

Now, you can't necessarily be the best.

When it comes to swimming, you know, what Michael Phelps it's going to be very hard

to beat that guy.

But here is what it comes down to, you could still be a great an amazing a top 1% swimmer

if you do what Michael Phelps and many other swimmers have done and that's year in year

out every single day work for one to two hours in the pool.

The thing is is most people don't want to do that because work is it's just work, it's

not fun at times.

But, if you resolve I will be the hardest worker in my industry, then I think a lot

of that self-doubt starts to go away.

Because when you take action when you're out there doing things when you are in the zone

when it comes to work, exercise whatever it may be, you find that you just don't think

about like your mind when you have the idle mind that's when you start to get the self-doubt.

So, guys, those are my tips.

Hopefully you enjoy them.

I want you to go check out the book, Known.

Mark has done a great job, it's a great book.

He's got it on Kindle.

He's got it over on Audible.

You can get a paper copy.

I would love for you guys to support him and maybe read learn a little bit more about me.

I said some things and I revealed some things in the book that I'd never talked about in

any of these videos.

And, that's it, guys.

Take care.

I'll see you in the next video.

Bye.

Cancún, a paradise with no future - Duration: 5:25.

I had planned on making a video about the sand in Cancún.

It's white, hydrophobic and it sticks to the skin.

I'd planned on telling you that it was composed of calcium carbonate,

that it's 62x more porous than the more common sand from Florida,

and that you call that a mesoporous material

whose filtration properties are studied for industrial purposes.

I'd planned on bringing back a sample of it and looking at it with a microscope.

But that's not what happened.

In doing research I found out just how much Cancún is in danger.

The sand I found so interesting is actually disappearing.

Cancún is a Mexican city known for its white sand beaches

along the warm, sun-soaked Caribbean sea.

This small peninsula accomodates tourists thanks to 27.000 rooms spread across 148 hotels.

Tourism represents 12.7 billion dollars per year.

The hotels compete to offer the most luxurious rooms right by the sea,

where you will be served your favourite cocktail while relaxing in the sun.

A touristic paradise.

The peninsula separates the lagoon from the sea by a stretch of 17km and only 500m across.

"The lagoon"

"The sea"

The lagoon is crocodile territory, so the hotels all gathered on the sea side.

They're huge since they have to welcome thousands of tourists,

and there's barely any space left for the beach on the one side,

and traffic on the other.

But the beach, which is what tourists come for,

is disappearing at a dazzling speed.

And it's partly the hotels' fault.

The thing is they're very heavy.

They sink deep into the unstable ground.

The waves hit against the solid hotel foundations,

bounce back and carry the sand away with them.

The hotels are also high and large.

Their walls keep the wind from blowing through,

so it gets redirected towards the ground where it blows the sand back into the sea.

There's also so many hotels that Cancún is now 'rigid'.

This means it can no longer adapt to climate constraints.

The lagoon and the sea are now hardly connected,

so much so that the lagoon water is starting to stagnate,

to smell bad, and to harbour destructive species.

On the sea side, storm surges are the main danger.

These surges are huge waves that look like tsunamis

and lead to floods, damages of all kinds and of course,

more sand loss.

If the hotels weren't there, natural breaches would create themselves

to connect the lagoon with the sea

and thus reduce the impact of the storm surges.

It's unthinkable to remain passive while watching these beautiful beaches disappear.

The authorities have been pumping sand out of the bottom of the sea to bring it back to the beach.

And yet, it all keeps going back to the depths of the sea.

Not any depth, though.

There's a coral reef off the coast of Cancún.

That's where the sand goes back,

keeping the light from reaching the corals and killing them slowly.

Corals are the home a 1/4 of all marine diversity.

But so what - at least we'll have sand beaches.

The economy is too dependent on tourism to give up on Cancún, so in 2010,

the authorities spent $70M bringing 3 million m3 of sand to the peninsula.

They had to save the local economy.

This large scale operation was necessary after Hurricane Wilma

brought disaster to Cancún.

Within one night, all the beaches were drained of their sand

and only had earth crust stones left.

7M m3 of sand was gone.

That's about 70,000 trucks like this one.

Between two sand deliveries, the hotels try to slow down the sand draining process by building physical barriers

in an attempt to delay the inevitable.

The hotels aren't the only ones to blame for the upcoming disappearance of Cancún's beaches.

There is one last reason for it and one which we all, as a species, share the blame for:

global warming.

The melting of the ice cap rises sea level by 2 to 3mm per year.

For each extra millimeter, one meter's worth of beach disappears.

Cancún, though it looks like paradise,

is an ecological disaster caused by mankind.

How to Get Rid of Chest and Neck Wrinkles Naturally - Duration: 3:27.

One issue consistent with aging is chest and neck wrinkles, as the skin becomes less elastic

and loses collagen.

There are many creams and serums in the market today that claim to combat these wrinkles.

However, they are very expensive and rarely do the trick.

Today's video will discuss the causes of such wrinkles and some natural, at home, methods

of treating them.

Neck and chest wrinkles can be caused by the way one sleeps.

When the body is sleeping on one side, there is pressure on the neck and chest skin that

causes it to compress each night.

Overtime, the skin's elasticity is compromised.

For this reason, sleeping on one's back is most recommended to prevent wrinkles.

Most people tend to concentrate on the skin on their face more so than the skin on their

neck and chest.

As a result, this skin does not always receive proper moisturizer and is often neglected

from receiving essential nutrients.

Sun beds are also a leading cause of these wrinkles, as they provide the body with harmful

levels of UV rays that negatively affect the skin.

Likewise, intense exposure to the sun without UV blocking sunscreen can damage the skin

and accelerate the rate in which the skin ages.

As a result, wrinkles develop and collagen decreases.

Another cause of wrinkles is nicotine, as smoking inhibits the proper flow of blood

within the body.

Because of this, the skin is robbed of essential nutrients and is left to sag.

Also at fault of causing wrinkles are articles of clothing that do not fit properly.

Articles that are both too tight and too loose can cause wrinkles in the skin.

Two natural remedies that can help to treat and reduce the appearance of wrinkles are

aloe vera and olive oil.

An aloe vera plant contains malic acid that helps to improve the skin's elasticity and

reduce the appearance of wrinkles.

To treat, scrape the gel from a leaf of the aloe vera plant.

Then, apply the gel directly to the areas of concern and allow to sit for approximately

20 minutes.

Then, wash off thoroughly with lukewarm water.

Alternatively, a teaspoon of aloe vera gel can be mixed with the gel inside of a Vitamin

E capsule and then placed directly onto the skin.

Leave this on for one half hour and then wash off with lukewarm water.

In terms of olive oil, it contains antioxidants such as Vitamins A and E, which help to keep

the skin clear of harmful toxins.

Olive oil can be directly massaged into the skin in order to regenerate new skin cells

and provide relief to current skin cells.

The olive oil moisturizers and revives the skin.

A mixture can also be formed by combining olive oil, honey and glycerin.

Then, place the mixture onto the skin and massage twice a day.

This will rid the body of dead skin and tighten the existing skin.

Also essential for the skin is Vitamins A and C, so it is very important to consume

a diet rich in these vitamins.

Build a Better Vlog: Exploring Photography with Mark Wallace - Duration: 9:54.

Hi everybody welcome to another episode

of Exploring Photography right here on

AdoramaTV I'm Mark Wallace and this is

brought to you by Adorama the camera

store that has everything for

photographers like you and me.

Well you've probably noticed that this video

is a little bit different looking than my

normal video that's because I'm doing

this in the style of a vlog, a video blog.

It's a video diary if you will I've been

riding around the world for about a

little bit more than a year on my

motorcycle I've got a little vlog of my

own called 'Mark on a bike' and I've learned

a few things along the way so we're going

to talk about those things today.

I'm going to break it down into gear,

shooting styles and some things you can

do to make your vlogs a little bit more

interesting using music, establishing

shots, b-roles, cutaways all that kind of

stuff and so we're going to start by

talking a little bit about gear and then

we will move on to making your stuff

really interesting, so let's start right now.

Normally in a vlog it's more

important to show where you are and what

you're doing than it is to get perfect

light and all of that kind of stuff so

for example you can see that I'm a

little bit under exposed but here's this

viaduct behind me that's really awesome

it's got trains and all kinds of stuff

going on I've got the woods back here

and then over here I've got the English

countryside with all the houses and

those types of things and so if I'm

shooting a vlog about that I want to

show it and usually I need to do that on a

budget and do that really quickly and

easily, that means I need a small camera

something that can hold in my hand and

move around with and usually shoot

without any assistance at all.

So I'm using a Panasonic Lumix FZ 1000,

it's a very affordable small camera the

autofocus is awesome. it has facial

recognition and it can flip around the

LCD screen to see what I'm doing and the

audio is awesome. Now to make this a

little bit more interesting I'm going to

put this camera on a tripod and show you

a little bit more of my gear.

I also shoot with a GoPro HERO5 now the reason

I love the HERO5, it's got image

stabilization and so that really helps

when I've got it handheld I'm using this

little Cullmann tripod as a handle and so

I can sort of shoot myself, it works

great and then of course I've got my

trusty iphone and I use that. You can use

an android whatever, but if you use one

of these guys and shoot in 4K that gives

you a lot of possibilities for

post-production but I also have one more

trick up my sleeve for creating stable

images using a GoPro HERO5,

well here's my new toy for

image stabilization, I use this this is a

GoPro karma grip and you can see it

holds my HERO5 totally stable and so that

way if I'm on a bike or zipping around

this is totally still and so that works

fantastic. The problem with this is,

if you're shooting audio with this you can

hear the motors inside the gimbal and so

that messes things up and I don't know

why but GoPro made it where you can't

hook up an external microphone when

you're using a grip, big fail I think

this is what it sounds like with my

GoPro HERO5 and my Karma grip.

You can hear those motors zipping around but the

nice thing is it's really stable and so

when I'm moving around and doing things

I'm not having a lot of jump around

in my camera motion so if you can use

this with an external mic it might be a

good solution for you. I still prefer the

Lumix over the GoPro but other than that

this really works well as long as you're

shooting something that doesn't

require sound.

Speaking of sound let's talk about that

because normally when you're vlogging

you're not using an external Lavalier

microphone. You need a microphone that's

built on to the camera and that can

cause some issues so let me show you how

I've solved those. I'm using a Rode

video mic that's attached to my Lumix.

Now the nice thing about this is it has a

dead cat, a fuzzy screen that blocks out

all the wind noise and that is

significant, so let me show you what it

sounds like with the built-in microphone

and compare that to what it sounds like

with the Rode video mic attached.

Right to help illustrate the wind noise issue

I've moved closer to the viaduct it's

really windy here, watch what happens

when I unplug this microphone and we

don't have any wind protection at all.

Alright here it is, the built-in

microphone you can hear that it's just

noise it's just wind noise and that's

just no good you need something that

will eliminate that and watch I'll just

plug this in again alright well now i

plugged in my external microphone you

can hear the wind noise is gone and so it's

well worth the money to buy an external

Rode microphone with a wind screen it

will really take your production up a

few notches. Now one of the issues with

having an on camera microphone is you

have to be really close I can touch the

camera with my fingers that's how close

I am so I'm using a wide angle lens all

the time, that's okay for most

applications but it does cause

significant issues because if you're way

far away nobody can hear what you're

saying so nothing like this works.

So sometimes you just need a Lavalier mic

and so I'm using this guy right here

this is a Rode Lavalier mic and it's

made specifically to go into an iPhone

you can get these for smartphones and so

it works so you can record external

audio on your iPhone and then sync

everything up in post-production and

that really helps out because I don't

want a wireless mic and all the

batteries and everything that comes with

that, I just want something that's easy and

so now check this out here's what it

sounds like with this microphone with me

way back there. Well now I have this

recording on my iPhone and you can hear

that the Lavalier mic has no issues when

I'm way far away from the camera like

this and it's just a consistent audio

feed and you could hear the difference

between the built-in microphone and this

microphone, I'll play these back

so here it is,

the built-in microphone at a distance

and here it is again the Lavalier microphone

at a distance.

You can see that it's a

huge difference between the Lavalier

microphone and the on camera microphone.

Now if you want to know exactly which

microphones I'm using check the

description and it has the links to all

those products below well let's move on

now that we know it some of the gear

that we need to use, what we need to

learn is how to shoot a successful vlog.

One of the limitations of vlogging is

this microphone that's really close

because everything is you close to the

camera and so you can get away from that

by shooting establishing shots, b-roll,

things that will add spice and so for

example I could say; hey I'm out here by

this viaduct in the English countryside

and it's really amazing or I could say

this; I'm out here in a beautiful

countryside in England there's a viaduct

and the grass is just green, little shack

next to me. It's awesome. I could do this

two different ways I could say; I rode my

motorcycle through Africa it was awesome

or I could say; I rode my motorcycle

through Africa and I experienced all

kinds of amazing animals lions and

zebras and I went through rain and mud

and crashed my bike and was frustrated.

I met amazing people in small villages. It

was a wonderful time.

So anything you can

do to add some texture to your videos do

it, just shoot a lot of establishing

shots, a lot of cutaways and show, show,

show, instead of tell. Music is another

key element to vlogging music will help

you establish the pace of your video so

maybe you want something that's really

exciting.

Or maybe you want something to

illustrate how peaceful

the Zambezi River is.

Whatever you're doing music is going to

help your videos be watched by more

people. Now you can license music from

places like triple scoop music or

digital juice, but you can also get music for

free if you have a YouTube account

they've got an entire music library or

you can get that through GoPro just go

to the Quick software that comes with

your GoPro and there's tons of music

and if you upgrade to a GoPro pro account

well then you even have more music

for your library.

Well thanks for joining me

for this special Vlogging episode of

Exploring Photography don't forget,

get some establishing shots, show where you

are and what you're doing that's more

important than perfect exposure and

photography and add some music to spice

things up and you know what don't forget

to subscribe to AdoramaTV because you

know if you've been watching AdoramaTV

for a while you probably recognize that

this isn't just any viaduct this is the

viaduct that Gavin Hoey shot I think

on his very first AdoramaTV video so

it's sort of a historic and special place and you

wouldn't miss that if you subscribe to

AdoramaTV click the button subscribe

right now, it'll make you a better person

and also check, well I don't know if it'd

HERETOCREATE with Nicolo Melli, Brose Bamberg - Duration: 3:39.

Is too easy to say that basketball for me is life...

is everything, my first thing...

because there's no sport like basketball

An angel Face, but don't get fooled...

Killer istinct.

The body of a center,

the hands of a pianist.

In the last two seasons he exploded…

like a firecracker on New Year's Eve.

This is Niccolò Melli.

…for Maccabi Fox Tel Aviv, and that's one way to escape in this game…

NICCOLO MELLI!!

Long range shooting...

low post plays,

amazing rebounding skills,

and Unselfishness.

Nik Melli is just one of the greatest...

power forwards in Europe.

But Nik, tell us something: what makes basketball so special?

Sometimes is hard to explain, you know...

If I need to explain to a kid what's basketball...

probably I will show him a Basketball Game…

you know, with loud fans...

to understand what's passion… what's love…

this is the only sport that in 1 second can change your life.

The first time I went on the bench...

I was at home friday night, my coach of the Junior team called me and say:

"Hey Niccolo, sunday You're going Pesaro, to play"

… to play… to sit on the bench…

I was hoping that somebody was fouled out,

but didn't happen.

Everybody plays sports in the family...

My mom, she won a silver medal in Los Angeles...

with the american national team of volleyball...

and my father played basketball.

I played with my father till he was beat me...

after he stopped,

he never played anymore with me, so...

I was believing in myself...

I don't know what other people were believing...

and honestly I don't really care a lot what people believes...

here in Bamberg I tried... to prove to myself,

that I'm able to do other things.

The change I made is huge.

I'm a power forward, I can play center...

I try to link the team... I like to share the ball...

coach asked me to be like...

kind of second point guard on the court.

My biggest weapon is the shooting

even though my game doesn't relate too much to the shooting,

so if i score, good... if not, I try to keep going.

One of Nik's greatest aspect is that he takes life very seriously...

Right Nik?

"Aumba Aumba Aumba Aee Aeee!"

In Bamberg, whenever we win... an important game,

one of the players has to lead the fans,

and all together... we jump and sing...

Of course, Euroleague is the highest competition...

probably ever now in europe... because we've never seen...

so many high level teams in... same group.

Playing against the best, is the best sensation you can have.

Because you wanna try... to yourself and to them too,

that you can compete, you can stay at their level.

Is the best thing can happens... to a professional player.

Being a big man, I need to have stability,

I need to feel the shoes...

but at the same time i don't like... when the shoes is too much.

This i think is a good half way.

There are stable, total white, that...

is a big part,

I'm looking forward to try this shoes and...

I hope they can help in my... in my game.

Niccolò Melli. Hard work behind the scenes,

to unleash the talent that today, everybody, can admire on the court.

The sky is the limit for him. He won't become Lebron James,

but he can be like a good bottle... of old Italian wine.

Can get better every year.

So, let's enjoy together:

Jeep Wrangler (3.6L) Airaid MXP Series Cold Air Intake (2012-2017 JK) Review & Install - Duration: 6:45.

I'm Ryan from extremeterrain.com, and this is my review and installation of the Airaid

MXP Series Cold Air Intake, fitting all 2012 and up JKs with the 3.6 liter engine.

There are two different versions of this kit available, one with the Synthamax Air Filter

in either red or blue, and one with Airaid's Premium Air Filter.

Today, we're gonna talk through the installation of this cold air intake, which I'm gonna give

a two out of three wrenches because there is some cutting of the factory air box involved

to get this installed.

We're also gonna talk through the construction and a few of the features of this system.

Any time you help your engine to breathe easier, either in or out, you are theoretically going

to see some horsepower and torque gains.

However, with a Jeep, most of those gains are going to be at the very top of the RPM

range where we don't spend a ton of our time.

So what I would expect from a cold air intake like this is a little better throttle response,

some more noise from underneath the hood, and possibly a few miles per gallon increase.

You may feel a little bit of a power increase, but again, that is going to be more at the

top of the RPM range.

I do like this system because it has a completely enclosed air box, and what that is designed

to do is get the coldest, freshest air possible for an air box that's still going to be under

the hood, where it's generally warmer than outside of the Jeep.

This also does come with a couple of different choices for air filters, so, again, the Synthamax

filter that has a little less cotton gauze in it and is designed to be a better filter,

filtering out more particulate, or the slightly less expensive Premium Air Filter that does

have a little bit of the cotton gauze in it.

As far as pricing goes, for an enclosed air box cold air intake, this is right where I

would expect it to be, and it's in line with some of the other brands that we have available.

As you can see, this cold air intake comes in a couple of different pieces, and like

I said, one of those is the fully-enclosed air box.

And what an air box like this is designed to do, is draw the coldest possible air into

the engine for a box that is still in the engine bay.

And I say that because you're still going to be drawing air that's underneath the hood

that has been warmed up from the engine giving off heat.

The only way to get truly cold, fresh air into the engine would be a snorkel or something

like a ram air setup that is available on the site.

However, this is going to do a nice job of drawing colder air and getting more air into

the engine than that factory system would.

Aside from the enclosed box, you, of course, have your cold air intake tubing and filter.

And as I mentioned before, there are a couple of filter choices available.

The Synthamax filter from Airaid is a little more expensive than their Premium filter,

and it has less cotton gauze in it, and it is designed to filter out even smaller particulate.

But if you wanna save a little bit of money, or you're not as concerned about the filtration

qualities, you can go with the Premium filter, still a great filter, just has a little bit

more of the cotton gauze inside of it.

This system is designed to be mostly bolt-in.

You don't have to cut the Jeep, but you do have to cut up your factory air box, you're

going to remove the factory air scoop and put it onto this air box.

And part of the reason that you have to do that is because this is a 50-state legal system,

so it can be used in California.

So there are a couple more restrictions that need to be taken into account.

As I said before, I am going to call this a two out of three wrench installation.

Generally, a cold air intake, especially one that is not an enclosed air box like this

one is, is a very, very simple install.

This is going to be a little bit more difficult, and we're calling it a two outta three wrenches

because of the cutting you have to do on your factory air box to remove that factory air

scoop and attach it to the new box.

So the first step is, of course, removing the engine cover and removing all of your

factory air intake system.

That will include disconnecting the air temperature sensor and the crank case vent.

Once the old system is out of the way, you can start assembling your new system.

There are a couple of brackets and plates that you'll install onto the box, and, of

course, this does come with all the hardwiring connectors, as well as the clamps that you're

going to need to get it installed.

Once you've gotten as far as you can with this on the bench, you'll go ahead and mark

and cut your factory air box to remove that air box scoop and mount it on your new box.

From there it's just a matter of getting this all into the Jeep.

You will have to change out a couple of grommets that hold that factory air box into place

to accept your new larger air box, and you'll also have to change out a couple of the clips

on that engine cover because that does sit over top of the air box as well.

The whole installation is not a difficult one and it should you less than two hours.

However, there is a little bit of cutting that is involved, as I mentioned before.

So this isn't something that you're going to be able to easily swap your factory air

box back in again if you ever decide to go back.

You will have already cut up that factory air box and it won't be any use to you anymore.

So to get this installed, you are going to need some traditional hand tools, and you

are going to need a Dremel or something that can cut plastic in order to remove that air

scoop from the factory box.

I mentioned before, as far as a fully-enclosed air box cold air intake system goes, this

is right around where I would expect it to be.

There are some that are a couple of dollars more, a couple of dollars less.

Some of those ones have some more features.

For instance, because this is an enclosed air box, inspecting the filter can be a little

bit difficult, so some of the systems on the market actually have an indicator that use

vacuum to tell you when your filter's starting to get clogged up, but you do pay for those

additional features.

So it comes down to your budget and what you want for your Jeep.

Airaid has been around for a good, long time in the cold air intake space and they do make

a pretty good product.

So if you're looking for a cold air intake to install on your Jeep that is going to draw

some of the coldest possible air from underneath the hood and possibly give you a little more

throttle response, some more noise from underneath the hood, and a few more miles per gallon,

as well as a little bit more power at the top the RPM range, this is going to be a nice

kit.

This is going to be slightly less expensive than say the Injen system, but again, that

does have a few more features.

Overall, I would say that this is a really nice choice for an enclosed air box cold air

intake system.

So that's my review of the Airaid MXP Series Cold Air Intake System, fitting all 2012 and

up JKs, that you can find right here at extremeterrain.com.

FOUND SOME ITALIAN BOOTY BACKSTAGE | TONY JUNIOR VLOG #59 - Duration: 21:53.

Good good morning to you...

Ok, I slept three hours last night.

I feel great.

Now.

Just took a shower.

I'll be going downstairs, because we have to gather.

I turned the camera on, but I can't actually say anything. They told me.

So you just have to see for yourself.

We're about to get back on the bus.

And we're going to...

...a trainstation.

That's all I know.

We'll see. Come on, let's go.

I'm excited.

Super excited.

You know what's fun? She has to wear a special bathing suit.

I arranged that for her.

She's so happy with that.

Will be fun.

Would you like to say something before the train arrives?

That bathing suit is going to look great.

Are we excited?

For sure!

They were smoking.

They were smoking on that bus.

This is a train, Tony.

Look at this.

Well, what would you like to drink?

Do me one.

Right now...

...Bryan is out of control.

Completely wasted, no just kid...

The band is... Ouch my head.

The band is playing.

The train has left.

Are we having fun, or what?

Are we having fun or what?

We're having so much fun.

God damnit, we're having fun!

This is the afterparty.

We're pretty tired.

We're gonna call it a day.

I'm going to bed, I'm tired, beat.

Thank god for this bus.

Today is a very special day.

And not because the sun is shining and it is pretty warm.

But today we are voting.

Maybe you don't know this about me, but I find politics pretty important.

I know a thing or two.

I read into stuff now and then.

The past four years have been quite chaotic so haven't really been able to keep up with everything...

...debates etcetera.

But I always enjoy voting day and I'll be stuck to the television tonight.

Bryan will also be voting.

And Conny, and daddy.

Let's go vote.

But we're not going to the nearest voting booths.

All because my dear friend Wijnand Speelman from '3FM'...

...he is broadcasting...

...about the elections today.

So he asked me and Bryan, my dad etcetera...

...to come and vote there and do an interview with him on the radio.

So this whole voting thing took a fun turn.

Or not?

Yeah.

Yeah.

This is the second interview I'm having and it's not even the one I came for.

Who are you?

Mick, from the school for Journalism in Tilburg.

Hear hear.

What does that say?

Think bigger.

Our school's motto.

Ok, let's get started.

3FM is here, live from Utrecht Central.

We have our own voting booth, Frank is there. We have a silent disco and snacks and drinks.

It's a lot of fun to vote here, because we are basically celebrating democracy.

With me is the man who travels the world.

He's collaborated with Tiësto, Steve Aioki, DVBBS...

But the thing he loves the most is being at home in Utrecht South, Kanaleneiland.

Tony Junior! -Hello.

Welcome.

Voting, I'd rather stay at home?

I think that's stupid. You've got the right, so...

...use it.

Try to engage. You don't have to spend three hours a day listening to debates or going through all the campagnes...

...but look into it, it's your country,

Well done, high five.

That was a fail, again.

I'll see you later.

That was just awkward.

Just did a fun interview with Wijnand on 3FM.

But decided not to vote there, because the line was fucking huge.

But we are going to vote here.

Close to home.

Nice and old school with a pencil.

Nothing digital.

What a list.

So many choices.

Ok, here we go.

We're done with the whole voting thing.

Just spent a couple of hours in the studio.

Just wanted to... watch it.

In the meantime a couple of guys joined me. Introduce yourself.

Of?

I'm from The Hague and play with the band Cookhouse.

Nice.

And your part of that band too.

Yup, I'm the songwriter/singer/guitarist...

...of Cookhouse.

And I'm the dancer.

Nice.

Just spent some time in the studio.

Came up with some plans.

So let's see what this will bring forward.

Collabs, you never know.

Fun. For now we're going to have dinner at the Indonesian, Asli.

As always.

A very fucking early morning.

Guys, hello.

It's Saturday.

All the content before this was probably super chaotic.

Because we were super busy and I'll explain later why.

A lot of stress.

It all worked out in the end.

Keep watching, I'll explain later.

Right now, we have to hurry to Schiphol, because we're going to Como, Italy.

Hereby I would like to give the floor to...

Well...

It's your birthday.

Congratulations.

Thank you.

Twenty years old.

Boy oh boy, I'm in the -ties now and will never get out.

Well, well, well.

We're back at Schiphol.

Bryan had ninety minutes of sleep.

How do you feel?

Tired.

I'm gonna put my camera away.

Because flights you have seen before.

This one won't be any different.

Bryan.

When people will see you again in a few hours, you'll be all well again.

Say it.

So that means you'll be filming in the afternoon again.

No later.

Early evening.

Sure.

You'll see me later all chipper again.

He is having so much trouble acting all happy.

The man I'm about to show you, is the guy who booked me for my first international gig.

I've never driven in one of these. They're fucking awesome.

A big mini.

I like these cars.

So fucking chill we don't have to drive another two hours, but only forty minutes before arrival.

He's got all these fun activities planned.

First we'll have lunch on top of a mountain with a sick view.

After we could take a boat trip across Lake Como.

Should be fun, can't wait, fuck!

I'm excited.

You haven't fully recovered yet, right?

Not yet, but I have now had three hours of sleep.

Twice an hour and a half.

I'll catch up on some more sleep later in the day.

Of course.

We've changed cars because we've got a climb ahead.

As you can see.

He's in the back, busy on his phone.

This is very steep here.

I bet the view will be amazing during lunch.

On these small roads you can encounter some problems.

Like these.

Scary.

Play tag.

We're so fucking high, I won't film it, because I will spoil the surprise.

Fucking awesome.

Look at this.

I've ordered some extra mushrooms for Bryan, because he likes them so much.

Hang on, I want to get you in this shot.

Like this and then onto the view.

I'm so in love with the Italian language. When a woman speaks Italian I fall in love instantly.

Go hard, very hard.

You think I can join you?

This is about the fastest I can swing.

We're now walking up to a fucking...

What's it called?

Bryan, what's it called?

It's about as high as we can get.

Pretty...

...steep.

This is the instagram moment for all the ladies.

Nice.

One last time.

Pretty.

We had a fucking nice meal.

Sick view.

Our muscles ache.

Just standing like this makes my legs tremble.

Ok sleep.

For sure.

That awkward moment that...

...I forget to turn my mic on.

And I was telling a nice story and Bryan made a very funny joke.

But we can't use any of it.

I was telling about the fact that this is my fourth time here.

And this was the first time I was booked as Tony Junior.

And then Bryan said...

Were you booked as Jan Smit before?

Was pretty funnny.

But you wouldn't have been able to hear the joke.

We're off to the club.

I feel like drinking.

We were just talking about Bryan not feeling really great, but he worked so hard.

Did you tell them why?

Tomorrow I will tell you why he worked so hard.

But now...

...it's time for drinks.

And a tiny tango.

We're going to the club.

I just drank four vodka. Nice.

And now we're off to the DJ-booth.

Was a fucking awesome show.

Shall I sit in front?

Yes, now that's a good idea.

Move the chair forward though.

You know what it is, I'm full of great ideas.

Me too.

Ok guys, this was a great evening.

I'll be going to sleep, I'm tired.

It was a cool show, but need to get up in a few hours.

Sleep tight, this was the vlog. Hope you guys liked it.

And you know, thumbs up, subscribe.

Otherwise, fuck off.

No I can't say that, just kidding.

Hope you guys liked it.

Thumbs up.

For the bootie.

Bye.

BTS THEORIES: Short films (RAP MONSTER & J-HOPE) - Duration: 15:35.

It's time for the next part of BTS THEORIES

I analysed 4 short films in the previous videos

There are still 3 left

I hope you will like it

There are many theories and they're really interesting so... Let's start!

Let's start from the 5th short film

Reflection, Rap Monster's short movie

As always, it starts with a quote from Hermann Hesse's book - 'Demian'

The other realm, however,

overlapping half our house,

was completely different;

A loud mixture of horrendous, intriguing, frightful, mysterious things,

including slaughterhouses and prisons, drunkards and screeching fishwives,

calving cows, horses sinking to their death, tales of robberies, murders, and suicides.

When I was looking for some theories online or some particular things I could have missed while watching this short film,

something I didn't notice but someone else did

things that would be helpful in this video

I found many theories that have nothing to do with the book

They are interpreted in a completely different way

It's possible to analyse the connection between the short films and all of the previous BTS videos

And it makes sense

However, reading the book really helps

Because we can find almost all the answers in this book

Or at least most of them

And it's something I highly recommend - if any of you still didn't read the book, just do it!

We can see a storage container at the beginning of the video

It's a storage container that can make us thing about similar containers in 'I need u' MV

Or it's the same storage container which was the place where Rap Monster lived in Run

In the next scene we see Rap Monster holding an envelope

He takes out a picture of a bird from this envelope

Of course, it's a consequence of the first short film - Jungkook's one

because he put that picture into this envelope

Back then, Jungkook was Sinclair, in my opinion

because the scene was exactly like the one from the book - Sinclair sent a picture of a bird to Demian

So we can presume that Rap Monster is Demian

The next scene can also confirm that somehow. Namjoon makes a tattoo of this bird on his forearm

First of all, we can think about the Danger MV because RapMon tattooed himself there as well

Secondly, it reminds me of a scene from the book where Demian was drawing a picture of this bird in his notebook while looking at the crest

One day I saw him standing there, notebook in hand, sketching.

He was drawing the old coat of arms with the bird above our entrance.

As I stood at the window behind the curtain and watched him,

I was deeply astonished by his perceptive, cool, light-skinned face that was turned toward the coat of arms,

the face of a man, of a scientist or artist, superior and purposeful,

strangely lucid and calm, and with knowing eyes.

Rap Monster burns this picture

and it's related to the scene of Jimin burning a paper

But then he puts this burned picture into the glass of strange liquid and he drinks it

And I can show you another quote from the book

Then I thought I could dimly remember that I had burned it.

Or had this been in my dream that I burned it in the palm of my hand and swallowed the ashes?

RapMon falls after drinking this kind of... Poison, let's say

And a quote from No More Dream appears

Who do you see in the mirror?

It can mean that he drank this poison and just like the apple in the Garden of Eden, the poison filled him

This sin and evil filled him

He can't see the same person in the mirror anymore because he sees someone else

Just like Sinclair saw Demian

But I suggest looking into the whole verse of this song

What is the you that you've dreamed of?

Who do you see in the mirror? I gotta say

Go on your path Even if you live for a day

Do something Put away your weakness

The lyrics are very meaningful and they motivate

But for me, it can also be related to the book

Especially the part with your own path and living however you want to

The colors are starting to come out of Namjoon's tattoo

What's interesting - the colors are the same like the ones in Jungkook's short film

Also we can notice quotes from 'Demian' appearing on Rap Monster's forearms

The first one is about the bird and the name Abraxas

which I already mentioned a few times in the previous videos

And here is the next one:

If you hate a person, you hate something in him that is part of yourself.

What isn't part of ourselves doesn't disturb us.

A broken glass appears, just like in Jungkook's short film

So here we have the connection between the two of them

A writing that says "You have to survive" appears on the mirror

And we could have seen it in Prologue

But Namjoon created this writing back then

and now it appears by itself

More mirrors appear and Rap Monster doesn't want to look into them

like he feels guilty because of something

and he is not able to look into his own eyes

The mirrors suddenly break

which can symbolyze the broken soul

Tearing the soul into pieces by the sins

And we hear a phone calling

Rap Monster starts running to pick up

And we see a phone booth - the same as the one from V's short film

The phone booth is tied in chains so he cannot get inside and pick up the phone

As a result, a writing appears on the phone booth and the writing is... LIAR

It can mean that Rap Monster lied to V

Maybe he promised to help him

But he didn't pick up the phone, he didn't help him, he broke the promise

He's a liar

And he cannot look at his reflection because he feels guilty

Of course, we see Namjoon's logo

And it fuses with Jungkook's logo

I think that the previous short films were more related to Hermann Hesse's book

And the rest of them are mostly related to the previous ones

But they are interested as well so now I'll analyse the 5th one, J-Hope's MAMA

Of course, the film starts with a quote read by Rap Monster

This time it's Eva's description

Demian's mother so we already have a connection to the title

With a face that resembled her son's, timeless, ageless, and full of inner strength,

the beautiful woman smiled with dignity.

Her gaze was fulfillment,

her greeting a homecoming.

Silently I stretched my hands out to her.

The film starts in a white room which resemble a mental hospital or a padded room

It's immaculately white and immaculately clean

We see someone from the hospital filling J-Hope's medical record

And we can notice there Munchausen Syndrome

Munchausen syndrome is a feign disease, illness, or psychological trauma to draw attention, sympathy, or reassurance to themselves.

Mostly people with a personality disorder, masochism tendency or obsession have this Syndrome

We also see 'Placebo' on the medical record

A fake treatment

They give pills to the patient but they don't work because there is no reason for taking them

The patient feels better because the need of being treated in a hospital is fullfilled

It's 1 o'clock and the room is being flooded with pills

When J-Hope takes one pill,

We see a glass of pills, it's the same one as we saw in Jimin's short film

We see J-Hope's eye and a reflection

It's a reflection of a gate or something, the one on which V made a graffiti

And we see a black, dark creature which we saw earlier in V's short film

And a name Abraxas written on this creature

Everything changes suddenly and the room is smutched with a neon paint

It can be related to V making a graffiti

or to Jungkook or Rap Monster because we already saw those colors in their films

We also suddenly see J-Hope with the wings

In a blink of an eye we can notice J-Hope with wings

It can be a connection between J-Hope and Abraxas

We also see a scene of a pillow fight

We see the feathers flying everywhere

It can be related to Run MV

or to Lie where Jimin wanted to start a pillow fight but J-Hope wasn't there...

J-Hope doesn't fight too long and falls

It proves the fact that his Syndrome is neurological

So it's mostly a simulation of such symptoms like

dizziness, epilepsy-like or mental blackout

Which immediately makes us think about the scene from I need u, where J-Hope blackouts

Hoseok wakes up and the room looks a bit more normal

Or at least the colors are not neon

But there is still a colorful paint on the wall

J-Hope stands up and looks through a small window

He sees a taiga painting

The painting from Jimin's short film

He leaves the room and suddenly we find out that it was a storage container

He is now in the same room as Jimin was

We see a scene identical to the one from Lie

J-Hope looks at the painting

Those scenes, J-Hope watching the painting and Jimin watching the painting - they are identical

And then another quote appears, this time from 'I need u'

The sky is blue and the sun is shining

We can relate this quote either to the painting

or to J-Hope's mental freedom

He won, fought the disease

and he will finally the sky and the sun

However, if we look at the next verse of this song

So my tears are even more noticeable

It's becoming less optimistically

Something happens to this film because suddenly it becomes a Snickers commercial

J-Hope takes a Snickers out of his pocket and the pills fall out of it as well

He eats it

And as a result of a sudden dose of endorphines, he smiles and walks away (lol)

Of course, we can say it's because he will live a healthy life from now on

He won't take those pills anymore, he just won

The painting suddenly changes and we already saw it in V's short film

It's a mother with a child and it's signed 'Eva'

So it's probably Eva from Demian

And she was a mother so it explains the title

The logos, both of them, are worth noticing

J-Hope's symbol is the same as the card we saw in Jimin's film, the card with 'Eva' on it

V's symbol is a stigma, a mark

We have to mix them somehow

In my opinion, the only logical connection is the fact that Eva, Demian's mother,

was called a woman with a mark

So Stigma and Eva make a whole

If those two symbols fuse together, we get something that resembles the paint or graffiti

The first proof for this connection is the fact that Sinclair painted Eva, Demian's mother

Demian resembled his mother and Sinclair also saw himself at this painting

And a scene like this you can see in Jungkook's short film; if you don't know what I'm talking about, I suggest you watching previous videos

Somehow... It can make sense

Especially the paint smears

The painting just changes into a mix of colors

If you want more quotes about mother, you have to check the previous videos out because I read many of them there and there was no sense to do it again

So if you want more, just go back

Another thing worth noticing - J-Hope seems kind of lost, like he doesn't know what is happening (also - it's the right part from the short film where you can notice his wings)

He wants to get out, he tries to rip the wallpaper and make anything that will help him get out of there

He also seems possessed

We also could see this scene in WINGS trailer

Besides that, the disease we saw on the medical record,

one of its syndroms is the need of people paying attention to you

And this neon painting and what happens in this room is definitely something that catches attention

What's more, the colors from the room

they are the same as the colors from Jungkook's painting

and also from Namjoon's tattoo

and from V's graffiti

so everything makes a whole

I also thing that this video shows the result of what happened earlier

how J-Hope dealt with it and how he tries to get his life back

and get back to normality

However, as you can see, it's difficult

Also, I think that it was the hardest time for Jimin and J-Hope

because it clearly is the same mental hospital

But what would this video be without quotes from 'Demian', I think you really like them

So I found two examples for you!

I now lived within a fire of unsatisfied longing, of tense expectancy that often drove me completely wild.

I often saw the beloved apparition of my dream with a clarity greater than life, more distinct than my own hand,

spoke with it, wept before it, cursed it.

I called it mother and knelt down in front of it in tears.

I called it my beloved and had a premonition of its ripe all-fulfilling kiss.

I called it devil and whore, vampire and murderer.

Everything pointed toward vastness and space - it all pointed toward Abraxas.

But none of these dreams, none of these thoughts obeyed me,

none were at my beck and call, I could color none of them as I pleased.

They came and took me, I was ruled by them, was their vessel.

Especially the part about colors was meaningful and I hope those two quotes were useful!

These was the next two short films and I hope you liked it!

There were not so many symbols as in the previous videos

and also less connections to the book

If you liked it, I'm waiting for your comments, as always!

your theories, your opinions and things I didn't notice

There is one more short film left - Jin's Awake

See you next time!

When and when NOT to focus on your competitor - Duration: 6:39.

Hi! I'm Sharon Jurd and welcome to my Biz Blitz video

and today I want to talk about when you should focus on your competitor and when you should not focus on your competitor.

Now if you've followed me for a while you would know that I'm always saying,

"don't focus on your competitor" but there are some exceptions and I wanted to go through those with you today.

But firstly I want to talk to you about being too focused on your competitor.

I have business owners come to me and they say to me,

"Sharon, can you help me with my business.

This is what's happening."

And a lot of times I find that they are so focused on what the competitor is doing

that they're not focused on their own business and their own clients.

And what happens is they see their competitor make a change on a website for instance

and then they react to that and change something on their website.

Or they see a marketing material by that competitor and then they go and try to outdo them with a better marketing material.

If you are in that reactive stage of your business where you're looking at the competitor

and then reacting that's a bad place to be.

And your business will never be the forefront of your industry if you're always going to follow the competitor.

And I'm telling you they put out a piece of marketing, it may not be great.

So why are you trying to then do one better than them?

Try and do something different from them.

If they're changing their website, change up your marketing in other areas,

in social media or in so forth and stay different from them. So point number one, do not get overly focused on your competitor.

Second point I want to talk to you today about is you will always have competitors in your marketplace.

And I have a lot of business owners say to me, "There's no one else like us.

There's no one offering this product or service", and that's okay.

You may have invented the widget whether it be product or service that is the first in the marketplace and I agree with you there.

But you still have competitors and I challenge business owners around okay no one's making that widget

or offering that service then who else are your competitors?

Because sometimes you're competing with things totally left wing of your industry.

If you're looking at disposable income for a consumer say mum and dad at home,

we're not talking B2B at the moment just your consumer in the marketplace,

and they've got X amount of dollars left at the end of the week they're going to diwt that up into what's important.

Now they may take the children to the movies instead of buying your facial product.

And so therefore then, the movie theatre is now your competitor in the marketplace.

And people challenge me around this but I go,

"you look at what your consumer is spending their disposable income on and you're wanting a piece of that?"

Then they are your competitors if you don't have real competitors in your marketplace.

So there's always competitors, point number two, there's always competitors.

Point number three, I want you to know your weaknesses in your business because you need to know, this is very important,

you need to know your own weaknesses before your competitor does because if they do,

they will be using that as a benefit to them.

They won't bag you, professional businesses won't bag their competition

but they will use dialogue to let your consumer know that they are better than you.

So really dig deep, sit down, whether it's by yourself or with your team or with some mentors

or other people you can trust and talk about your weaknesses.

It may even be a client you say, "Okay you've

had the experience with me in the product or my service,

where were my weaknesses?" Once you do that, once you've identified those weaknesses then one,

you can fix them and change them and give your clients and customers a better experience

or if you can't change your weaknesses then you need to get some dialogue to explain

to your customers and clients about that weakness before they hear it from someone else.

If you deal with the objection, some people call it in a salesy role,

if you deal with that objection with the customer or client then what happens is they'll accept that

and then they'll accept your product or service and know that as they go through the experience there will be a weakness around that.

Give it to them upfront. Don't try and hide your weaknesses,

show the customer or client what those weaknesses are so your competitor doesn't have anything to use

against you in their dialogue when they're talking to the same customers and clients.

So my three points today are one, don't be too focused on your competitor because you don't want to be reactive,

you don't want to be knowing everything they are doing in every second of the day.

Don't be too focused, have a look at them occasionally and then come back and really focus on your business.

Secondly, you will always have competitors.

Look outside of your industry; identify those competitors that you have the spending of your consumer.

And three know your weaknesses. Is it your experience? Is it your product?

Is it your service and really work hard on either changing those or letting your customer know

that you have those weaknesses. So there are my three points today

and I really appreciate that you spend the time to listening to my videos.

I want to say thank you, thank you, thank you.

If you want to know more about how to identify your weaknesses,

how to identify your ideal customers and making sure that you're talking to the right people

then I welcome you to go to my 12 Week Business Academy and I'm launching that very, very soon

for the next intake. The website you go to is www.12wba.com.au.

So go there and I'll tell you all about the program and we can expand

around all of the things that I've talked about today. So thank you.

If you think that this video is valuable, please share it with your friends,

your family and your colleagues and I hope that I add value to their lives as well.

Thanks again. I'm Sharon Jurd.

Laura Koch, Master of Education in Student Learning and Well-being `16, University of Missouri - Duration: 2:03.

I am Laura Koch and I am earning a

Masters of Education in Educational Psychology.

I am a fifth grade teacher at Webb City schools.

I've always been really fascinated in psychology

but not really an interest necessarily as a

psychiatrist or as a psychologist or a counselor.

I absolutely love and have a passion for

being in the classroom and

I wanted to stay in the classroom.

So I really liked this particular opportunity because

I could apply what I was learning to my students.

I think that's probably one of

the biggest benefits of this

was that the professors really did try and come

up with assignments that weren't just busy

work and weren't just intellectual.

I could apply it almost instantaneously

to my students and to the classroom

and to my profession.

I work in a rural district

and hearing, you know, people working in urban districts

and I can actually apply

some of those things to certain student

populous in my class.

Having gone through the program in a year and a half

there were some things where I just kinda

touched the surface of and there was

that iceberg underneath the water that I

still wanted to challenge myself to

but just didn't have the time in that moment so

I've kind of kept a folder in my desk of

all those ideas that professors and

teachers across the country have given me

that I still want to look into and

if anything has given me a passion to

continue my education after that.

"Laura May Koch, Educational Psychology"

When I was in high school and elementary,

I was a student with a special education

plan and it took me a little bit more to

figure out my path from school and to be successful.

Yes, it's challenging but that is the

biggest appeal to me is

it could be easy

but will I know at the end of an

easy journey that it was worth it?

At the end of a challenging journey,

I for sure know I was worth it.

So, just knowing I'm capable and

I made it through what I started out to do.

has adequately prepared me for that.

I use career services to help build my resume.

I'm gonna be looking into finding internships

and to do observation hours, all kinds of things like that,

and eventually I might even be applying back to Salem State.

Authentic Fidget Cube Review - Duration: 6:50.

Hello my friends! Kaitlyn and Parker here! And we're going to review the Fidget Cube!

(INTRO MUSIC)

*clicking*

What is it Parker? What's the Fidget Cube?

The Fidget Cube is a cube whereby you can spend many hours fidgeting.

I mean, there's little buttons and like spinny things and clicky things on it so that if you are like us and

an intense fidgeter, then you can just sit there and fidget with it.

Yeah, what springs to mind is that it was made for those who click a pen.

Or like me, I'm a necklace person, I like wearing long necklaces and I've broken so many necklaces.

So first, we'll talk about the packaging. It's cute, it's like a little cube. I like the bottom though because it tells you

like kind of their little story and how they designed it. Which I think is fun.

Next, the other part is that the Fidget Cube, let me take this off. Like this, this is the Fidget Cube, and then this

is the Prism which wasn't their original idea but a lot of the backers on Kickstarter were like "Hey, we'd love

to have something to hold the Fidget Cube in but still be able to use it." What do you think of this? I actually

really like it. It's soft and fun and I think it almost makes it feel better.

And it makes it look cool! Here's the thing, I originally thought might be a kind of a bummer was how long

this chain is. But it actually worked out to where it's long enough for like me to mess with in the car.

So you're suggesting that you're driving and going down the road playing with this cube?

Oh yeah! (laughing)

The thing that really struck me about it is that it really works.

Yes!

Like I really have fun doing it.

What's your favorite face? There are 6 different faces.

The buttons! - These buttons?

The buttons! - These buttons?

The 5 buttons! - So there are, there's one side with 5 buttons like a dice

and they, um, some of them click with like a sound. Some of them go all the way in and don't really have a

clicking sound. So it's like different strengths of how hard you have to push.

Which is cool because that's a silent option. Because it's already happened where I've been at work like (clicking)

and I catch someone looking, like "Uh, hey! Could ya?" And I was like, "Oh yeah sure. I'll switch to the silent option" (silence/no sound of clicks)

Yeah! Nice!

I like this, there's a metal ball that you can move around and then you can click it. I think that one might be my

favorite. I mostly just kind of like holding it in my hand and just kind of rolling it around and feeling the different things.

It's weird to talk about it like this. It seems very silly. But it actually is pretty cool to like doze off on couch while just messing with it. It's fun!

I was doing it like last night just kind of sitting on the couch watching a video and it was just kind of good to just hold it in my hand and

just touch, because that's what I do anyway. Is I just hold things and fidget with them whether it's a blanket or a necklace or something.

Um, but this has got all these extra fun things to fidget with!

It's not just like one thing, you can move on to the one!

They're fun to fidget with you say!? -Yeah!

This is the product for you! -Ahhhh!

Do people at your work know what it was? -What do you mean?

Have you showed it to people at your work? You didn't bring it to work. -No.

People at my work knew what it was. -Yeah!

There were like at least 3 people. -It's because it's been all over the Internet.

Uh, yeah. I guess, I should bring it to work, but I don't really have coworkers.

I would have to specifically go to my boss's office with this in my hand and talk to her like this probably for her

to notice! -Yeah Kaitlyn works for the Catholic Church as a scribe.

(KP laughs) So she just goes to a room for like 12 days at a time.

-No And copies ancient manuscripts by hand with a little candle.

All right, how does it feel overall? Like if you were gonna give it a rating?

I gotta ding it. I gotta ding it a little bit because it is a little cheap feeling.

Yeah. That was the one thing that when I pulled it out of the box I was very disappointed with was that I was like

expecting it to have that like heavy plastic feeling and it doesn't. It almost, it does have a bit of cheap plastic feeling.

Like the buttons do. I think the cube itself is fine but the buttons, like this feels like you could break it really easily.

Yeah, I am kind of wondering how long it's going to hold up. And one other thing you should know is that they're not all the same for the same things.

Like here's Kaitlyn's little spinny thing: (sustained soft crackling sound) Okay, so that's hers.

This is mine: (very faint, smooth sliding sound).

It's very smooth. - Yeah, you don't have the resistance that mine does.

I can't stop!

Would you rather have the resistance? Or do you like your smooth one?

I don't know actually. I think I kind of like mine because you can do it... -Yeah, it's kind of silent. Mine...

You can do it...could you imagine doing this with like a group of people around (scratching/crackling sound)

The amount of instances where someone goes, "What is that?" Like would just skyrocket!

These are normal sounds, this one is not. (scratching/crackling sound) Ha ha ha!

Yeah, it's like "Does someone have a really long zipper?"

So good, other than the kind of cheapness and the differences between... -I really like it!

But yeah, I really like it too. I think that it's worth...it's like $25 if you bought it now. And um, I think that it's

probably work that for someone who really is a fidgeter.

Yeah! Plus, it's a really great gift. -Yeah!

I haven't stopped playing with it the whole time. -Yeah, not me really. Like if you hold it in your hand there's no way you can not play with it unless

you just don't fidget which is...I don't understand you!

(chaotic clicking and snapping sounds)

I can't put it down! My brain was like, "Hey! Try putting it down." And immediately it was all "Mmmm..."

Ha ha ha! Addiction!

Okay! So if you are interested in checking out the Fidget Cube or buying one for yourself or getting one for a friend, I'll put a link at the top of the description

for you to go check it out on Antsy Labs' website and um, question for today. What's the question for today?

Are you a fidgeter? Do you have anxiety and click away on things and annoy everybody around you?

So tell me all your thoughts about the Fidget Cube anxiety, fidgeting in general down in the comments.

Plus remember to like, favorite, share, and subscribe if this video made you smile!

See you guys on Thursday!

Ha ha ha! There's no where for me to go!

Mwah!

Modelo case study x Ennead Architects (2 minutes) - Duration: 2:03.

My name is Richard Olcott,

I am a design Partner at Ennead.

We actually,

I know we have been very early adopters,

but we actually took it

to one of our very first meetings

actually to the interview

we had for a project at Stanford University.

We were able to just project the model

on the wall and

they were able to say,

"can we go into that room or that room?"

We were able to literally drive around

inside of the model

My name is Don Weinreich.

I'm a Partner at Ennead Architects

The first time I saw Modelo,

the thing that struck me the most about it was

it just kind of makes you feel happy when you use it.

It's very kind of bouncy and lively,

and so many other programs

are very tedious to navigate.

This just feels like it was come on in and play.

I think Modelo is one of the best tools

that allows us to very quickly become

immersed in the design

and feel what that space is.

There are certain design leads in the office

that refuse to look at a Rhino or a Revit model anymore.

They're only going to look at a Modelo model

and that's because it's just really fast

and really easy to navigate through it.

People like me

tend to spend a lot of time on the road.

And that is a huge benefit

for us to be able to have that

to literally carrying a design around with us

on an iPad

We can spend much less time

worrying about and planning presentations,

and much more time spent on design.

The gift of time,

it all goes back to design.

So, it allows us to be better designers.

Modelo is a jetpack to supercharge your design process.

The next record-breaking diamond? Meet the 59.6 carat Pink Star diamond - Duration: 1:58.

What we're seeing at Sotheby's in London today is

the largest Fancy Vivid pink ever graded by the GIA,

therefore probably the largest of its kind in the world.

And it's for sale for sale by Sotheby's in Hong Kong on the 4th of April

with an estimate of 60 million dollars.

I'm with David Bennett who is the Worldwide Chairman of Jewellery at Sotheby's.

"So David, tell me what are we seeing today?"

"The GIA say it's the largest Vivid Pink internally flawless diamond they've ever graded,

and it's a sensation, I mean it's an oval shaped stone,

it's as pink as can be and as bright as can be."

This diamond was mined by De Beers in Africa in 1999

and it came from a rough of over 132 carats.

"This stone is so large compared with other things.

It's off the scale how much bigger it is than all the others."

Just seeing the Pink Star you can understand that it's exceptional because of that amazing colour,

but its size is really out of this world,

and the closest comparison we can draw is the Graff Pink,

that at 24 carats, so half the size,

sold for $48 million in 2010.

Now this isn't quite the same colour grading,

but it is also a type ll A making it very rare.

"The Graff Pink is at just around 24 carats isn't it?"

"It was intense Pink"

"It was Intense Pink. Is that what's making the price difference do you think?"

"Yes I mean Vivid Pink's the most highly prized of all the colours

because it's the most saturated of the colours."

"You were mentioning earlier that this has come up for auction before hasn't it this stone?"

"In 2013, and unfortunately the buyer was unable to complete the purchase,

so we've now, with our partners, decided it's about time to put it up for sale again.

I think it's a wonderful stone and we'll see what happens on the 4th of April in Hong Kong."
