A Craft of Future Past: Mastering Antiquarian Horology - Duration: 3:00.(dinging and music box playing)
- Entropy is the gradual decline into disorder.
I'm always aware of it passing
and the toll that it's taking on all the objects around me.
(bird singing)
These objects need someone to make sure
that, 100 years from now, they're gonna be delighting people
just as they are today.
(dramatic orchestral music)
I'm an antiquarian horologist.
It's quite a rare title to have next to your name.
I work on objects that have a watch or clock mechanism.
I'm maybe one of two people that has a master's
in horological conservation in this country.
I'm basically a mechanic,
but a mechanic from the 17th century.
(watch ticking)
I specialize in micromechanics,
and I work on machines called automata.
(winding clicking)
They're made to mimic living things in the world.
Human beings, birds, animals, flowers.
I think of them as the first instances
of artificial intelligence.
(winding clicking)
(bird singing)
Everything is self-contained in these mechanisms.
They run usually with springs.
So it's not running on batteries.
It's all running from just brass and steel.
(serene instrumental music)
Any time I get an object that's broken,
there's this innate need to bring it back.
Because these objects are so old,
if I need a part that I don't have,
which is more often than not the case,
I will go and make it myself.
(ratcheting)
It's the closest you can get to bringing something to life.
You get a silent bird.
The wings are broken.
There's no feathers.
It doesn't have eyes.
I get to bring all those things back,
so that it can sing again.
(bird singing)
(dramatic orchestral music)
I feel they're a significant part of our cultural heritage.
They were made in ways that I couldn't even do myself.
They were done by candlelight.
They didn't have electricity,
so I know they were using a foot pedal to cut wheels.
It's an incredible amount of work and craftsmanship
just to create something beautiful for the sake of that.
(bird singing)
People believed that these horologists were sorcerers,
so in a way I guess I'm a modern antique sorcerer.

Corporate Media Is Part Of The War Machine, And They're Ready For Another Conflict - Duration: 3:57.One of the most disturbing things from Donald Trump's 2018 federal budget was the $54 billion
increase in defense spending.
Basically, he wants to cut every other program that actually helps human beings and spend
that money instead on increasing military strength, but that's just one part of the
puzzle here.
The big question is, why weren't media outlets talking about this particular act more than
they were?
Why was this not big news, because we knew about the $54 billion increase before the
budget actually came out?
Yeah, they picked up the story here and there, talked about it for a few seconds and moved
on, but there's a reason why the corporate media refused to talk about this and give
it the kind of coverage that it deserves.
It's because the people paying the bills at those corporate media outlets are defense
contractors, at least partly defense contractors.
Think about this.
When you watch MSNBC or CNN, Fox News, turn it on and leave it on and pay attention to
the commercials.
Undoubtedly, you will eventually see a commercial for Boeing or for Lockheed Martin, both huge
defense contractors.
The purpose of advertisements is to get you to buy their products, but last time I checked,
neither Boeing nor Lockheed Martin made any consumer products.
They make airplanes.
They make fighter jets, but you don't book a flight based on whether or not you're traveling
on a Boeing plane.
You don't even get to know that, usually, so why are they advertising directly to the
American public?
Are we going to go out and buy a jet?
You going to go out and buy some missiles at the Lockheed Martin superstore down the
street?
No.
It doesn't make any sense unless you think about the fact that these defense contractors
buy advertisements on corporate media so that the media will back off them, so that the
media will help to push for the next war that could happen by the end of this year.
We've already seen tensions escalate in North Korea.
We have a situation in the Middle East that is deteriorating because of Donald Trump's
bungling of the entire area, and the corporate media is deafeningly silent about all of those
issues because their corporate masters, the people who pay their advertising dollars,
need those wars to happen.
They know that there is a fresh $54 billion sitting in the Pentagon, or at least will
be pretty soon, and they want that money.
That's why they're buying this advertisement space in the corporate media.
It's not because they want to sell you products.
It's because they want to buy the loyalty of the media.
They remember how things played themselves out in the early 2000s when the corporate
media helped push us into the Iraq War.
The one voice out there telling us it was a stupid idea, Phil Donahue on MSNBC, was
fired for speaking out against the Iraq War on the air.
The corporate media is paying attention.
They paid attention then.
They're paying attention now, and they're doing what they always do.
They're making sure that they're buying the media's loyalty so that when the next conflict
happens, these idiots won't ask any tough questions.
They won't ask why we're going in.
They won't ask whether or not the intelligence is sound or if it's faulty or based on lies.
They'll just go on the air and report that American corporations are kicking ass overseas.

Is BDSM Feminist? | ContraPoints - Duration: 10:14.Corelli, "Concerto Grosso in G Minor"
Welcome to ContraPoints.
I'm your host John Jane…
Jackson.
Whatever.
It doesn't matter.
Tonight our guests are Sir Beatrix Bumbridge, prominent sadomasochist and 17th Marquis de
Baton Rouge, and Abigail Cockbane, feminist activist and author of You Can Come for Free
at Home: The Case Against Prostitution.
Tonight they'll be debating the question, is BDSM feminist?
Now, Sir Beatrix, you are a prominent kinkster, and according to your FetLife profile you
"live the lifestyle 24/7" and are into "paddling, bondage, penis humiliation, panty
sniffing, CMNF, CFNM, and… ass worship."
Indeed.
But you call yourself a feminist.
Please explain.
Well John, feminism is about a woman's right to choose, and if that means she chooses for
her husband to tie her thighs astride the dishwater and pommel her backside till it
flushes with the fuchsia flare of a newborn's cheek, that's her right as a woman, so long
as she does so in a safe, sane, consensual way.
I see.
And Ms. Cockbane, what do you think about that?
Well, it's all good and fine to talk about choice.
But don't we also have to consider the context in which our choices are made?
In a patriarchal, pornographic society where women are constantly pressured to submit to
male dominance, is there really any meaningful sense in which women can genuinely consent
to sexual subjugation?
Well, Cockbane, I think it's not really your place to question whether an adult woman
knows what she wants.
But the thing is, I don't care what you want, and I don't care what your girlfriend
wants.
If you want to have your leather costume parties and beat each other senseless, I don't care,
and I don't want to hear about it.
Well, clearly you care a little bit.
But everything isn't all about you and your special little sexual whims.
Do these submissive women ever pause to wonder why they enjoy being dominated and abused?
Do they think they just came out of the womb with a desire to be tortured and humiliated by men?
Or does it ever occur to them that just maybe a whole lifetime of cultural glorification
of female submission has influenced their desires?
Well, if you're such an expert psychoanalyst, then why don't you explain why there are
men who want to be dominated, and women who want to be dominated by other women?
Well, patriarchy affects everyone.
And just because you're a lesbian or a man doesn't mean you aren't influenced by
the same cultural pressures, and reproducing the same power dynamics.
But every decision we make is influenced by cultural pressures.
I mean if cultural pressure renders choices illegitimate, then I suppose all choice is
an illusion, and we should just give up on the idea of freedom altogether.
Well, hold on a minute, don't you think Ms. Cockbane has a bit of a point.
Isn't it worth questioning where our desires come from, instead of just taking them as
given?
Questioning, sure.
We live in a dark world, and maybe that's why we have dark desires.
But society can't be fixed in a lifetime, and we all have to live with the desires we
have.
So if I choose, in full knowledge of the darkness, that I want to act out my dark fantasies in
a responsible way with consenting adults, then I don't see what basis the Abigail
Cockbanes of the world have to scold me for my choice.
Well, well, well, "choice" and "consent" aren't magic words that make everything
feminist.
Anti-abolitionists once argued that slaves were happier as slaves, and there are victims
of sex trafficking today who are so internally oppressed that they believe they consented
to their own subjection.
But that doesn't make it okay, it doesn't make it a real choice, and it certainly doesn't
make it feminist.
What is this absurd equivocation between violent coercion and vague cultural influences?
Do you not see the difference between being locked in chains at gunpoint and simply wanting
to do something because you saw it in a movie?
Well, when the thing you "want to do" is be tortured, then no, I don't see that much of a difference.
Torture?? Oh this is good.
According to the International Council for Rehabilitation of Torture Victims, beating,
shocking, stretching, submersing and suffocating victims are among the most common methods
of torture.
And it is not legal to consent to torture.
Fuck this.
So the sexual practices you're advocating are not only illegal and immoral, but actually
in violation of the United Nations Convention Against Torture.
Okay, and Sir Beatrix, how do you respond to that?
[dark music (Brahms)]
Sir Beatrix?
Sir Beatrix.
Please remove the gimp mask.
I'm going to my happy place.
My name is Lady Bumbridge!
Well, we'll give him a moment.
To be fair, Ms. Cockbane, I think your argument here is a little out of line.
Do you really not see a major difference between involuntary torture and consensual masochism
done for the sake of pleasure?
Well, well, well, John I just don't see what's pleasurable about it.
But some people do find it pleasurable.
Sir Beatrix, are you ready?
Could you please comment on this?
Alright.
Look, Cockbane, your problem is you have a naïve idea about what pain and pleasure are.
Since you radical feminists are so good at deconstructing false binaries, why don't
you have a go at the pleasure-pain distinction?
Well, it's just inconceivable to me that there could be anything pleasurable about
being whipped, and bound and abused.
Have you ever gone running?
Ever heard of the runner's high?
What about really spicy food?
Pain and pleasure are often mixed.
Sometimes the road to heaven goes through hell.
I just don't see how that applies to sex.
I can't imagine being turned on by the… firm grip of Master's hands around my thighs
as he bites the side of my neck, my back arching as the straps are tightened round my wrists
and ankles, yes, and shivers up my spine as I anticipate the first drop of hot candlewax on
my pert, exposed breasts, and the intense, full-body shock that surges through me when
his flogger cracks across my innocent pale buttocks, awakening my inner goddess as I
dissolve into a deliquescent paradise of shuddering orgasms.
…No, I just don't see anything arousing about that.
Okay.
Well, if I didn't know better I'd say at the very least you sound a little curious.
Well, so what if I am curious!
There are plenty of victims whose sexual fantasies are shaped by their own trauma, but that doesn't
make it okay!
Are you a victim of trauma?
Well no, but—
Well there you go.
Hey!
Can you please try to be civil?
Don't ask intrusive questions.
I'm sorry, I just resent the implication that sexual kinks are the result of trauma.
Well, it was still out of line.
I'm just trying to say that it's a false and harmful misconception about kink that
you shouldn't be propagating uncritically on your show.
Alright, well fair enough.
Anyway, we're running out of time.
Let me just say, for the record, that my kinks have nothing to do with any past trauma.
I'm completely fine.
I'm fine.
I'm fine.
I'm really completely fine.
I hate my job.
I got involved in kink in the most innocent possible way.
You see, when I was a boy, my family had a Japanese governess who used to dress me up
in my sister's clothes.
Everyday when I came home from school she would pick out a new frilly dress for me and
she would brush my hair.
I can still remember the way the stockings felt as she unrolled them up my legs.
Never had I known such rapture!
At least, until one day when father came home early.
Oh no!
Honey, I'm home!
What is the meaning of this?
[detuned piano music, distant crying, slapping]
Oh god, it's all rushing back, man.
Oh no.
I'm a sissy bitch.
I'm a sissy bitch.
Bad, bad, bad.
Alright.
Well.
Thank you both for coming on.
Tonight we learned, that on this stage we call the world, men, women and the rest of us
actors are all just kind of fucked up.
So, it's best not to think about these things too much, because rational discourse leads
nowhere, and introspection only uncovers the terrible traumas of your past, which you wish
you had remembered to forget.
In fact, I suppose sometimes it's better to just get drunk, and leave a comment on a YouTube video.
So, from the ContraPoints studio here in Baltimore, I bid you all goodnight.

Fastes Way to Get Exalted with Timbermaw Hold Rep | World of Warcraft - Duration: 4:47.Hey there guys, this is Reckles with WTBGold and welcome to the Week of Timbermaw Hold.
That's right, as ridiculous as it sounds, this entire week is going to be focusing on
gold guides related to Timbermaw Hold.
And we're going to start it off with the fastest way to do the Timbermaw Hold rep so
you can quickly level your alts up through it.
Enchanters have 2 k profit in each of two different recipes along with a cool shuffle.
Tailors have 4k profit in 2 recipes.
Leatherworkers have 5-10k patterns that only take 5 minutes of farming to make.
Blacksmiths have 5-8k profit in two recipes, and alchemists have the essence of earth to
essence of water transmute that turns a 1g material into a 300g material.
There's also an adorable toy that turns you into a furblog.
So if you have an alchemist, tailor, leatherworker, blacksmith, or enchanter, stop whatever you're
doing and spend a quick 30 minutes leveling this up.
Let's do this guide.
Before I start, one quick warning.
While making this guide I realized I've been mispronouncing the word as furblog for
a decade.
But it's a made up word, and I'm not about to change for this guide, so anyone with OCD
is just gonna have to deal.
So, first thing we're gonna do is take either the cata portal to mount hyjal or the moonglade
teleport and head over to felwood in northern kalimdor.
Just in front of the timbermaw hold entrance there are three quests that will start off
your journey to defeat the rival furbolgs.
If you don't see the exclamation marks over the quest givers, turn on "See hidden quests"
on your minimap.
These are basic kill some dudes, collect some stuff, and get a guy out of a cage quests.
Just make sure you talk to the guy in the cage first otherwise you might kill the chieftan
who has the key and you'll have to wait 5 minutes for him to respawn.
As you're finishing those you'll get two breadcrumb quests so follow those into Timbermaw
Hold itself.
This tunnel system connects fel wood, moon glade, and winterspring.
I used to always get lost in here until I made myself remember that the moon glade tunnel
was the one that's perpendicular to the bridge, so just never go that way.
Turn in and accept all the quests you can, including the runecloth one, and head to winterspring.
Talk to the guy right out front and then head to the southern end of the zone rather than
immediately killing furblogs.
I like to do this because you have to kill an elite bear and every once in a while there's
competition for him so you just don't want to bottleneck yourself.
These quests are your basic get a bubbling cauldron, and some corrupted slime so you
can infuse a bear heart into a voodoo smoothie quests.
You know the ones, you've done em a thousand times.
Only thing worth noting is that the suspicious green sludge only drops off the blobs, not
the actual water elementals.
Once you get to the quest that says "go to the lake" you're done here and should
be half way between honored and revered.
Head all the way to the East side of the zone.
There are two more Timbermaw quests here and these furblog drop runecloth for that quest,
whereas the guys on the West and South side of the zone only drop mageweave.
There's a nice little lap to run here so just do that for about 15 or 20 minutes.
Generally, you'll be just at revered by the time you get your 30 runecloth, and you'll
also have about 50 winterfall spirit beads.
It takes 21,000 rep to go from revered to exalted.
The runecloth quest is 1000 and every 5 spirit beads gives you 2000 rep, so you'll need
50-60 spirit beads before you head back to the tunnels.
Turn in the winterfall spirit beads to Salfa and you're runecloth, and congratulations!
They love you in that tunnel.
You've also significantly increased your gold making potential with the new recipes
available inside.
So, that's it.
I've got a couple more guides coming out this week on other unique ways to profit from
being exalted other than just knowing a few more patterns, but until then, good luck and
happy gold making!
I was gonna do a snow joke for this one, but I thought it would be too polarizing.

CS:GO - The New Possible OPERATION MAPS! - Duration: 3:39.A couple days ago a guy on reddit used a decompiler and found some very interesting sprite files
inside the sharedlibrary file.
These files could be very old but from the looks of it, we are looking at the maps featured
in the next operation.
Hey guys, Maxim here.
You can look yourself by downloading the JPEXS Free Flash Decompiler, and open the file,
it's located inside resource and flash.
The name of the sprite is called mapgroup-op08.
Right now there's 7 operations in total so it would make sense that these maps are the
new operation maps, BUT we can't be 100% sure, obviously.
These are the maps that we are able to see from left to right.
I will put all the maps in the video description in-case you want to try them out.
So far, cs_agency has been in two operations already.
Blackgold and Insertion have been in a previous one as well.
Here's the maps we haven't seen in an operation.
First one, de_thrill, is set in a theme park or amusement park.
It has a fun and colorful theme.
But there's also some backstory to the level design.
It was built by one of the creators who made the map Mirage in 1.6 also known as Bubkez.
In the beginning they were going for the name de_mirage2 but the creators decided to go
with a different theme and name and have changed it both visually and layout-wise.
So the fact that this was built by one of the guys who made Mirage in 1.6, proves that
it will most likely be a fun ride.
The next map which we haven't seen in an operation before is de_shipped, which is a map where
you're on a ship, almost like the Call of Duty Map Wet Work, but the layout feels more
like a Counter-Strike map.
I like the size of the map, the old and rusty feel that it has
and I'm very happy it's a defusal map and not a hostage map.
I prefer this version over the Cruise map and I think it has potential to become a popular
choice among players.
The creator known as Catfood has also made two other brilliant maps that were featured
in previous operations, Tulip and Log.
Another map that I'm looking forward to is de_lite.
If you were playing on ESEA back in 1.6, you could play this map!
As it was built for ESEA back then.
In other words this was meant to be a very competitive map, and now there's a CSGO version
made by the same original creator Ted.
It's a small to medium sized map and it has a very understandable design.
I like that it's dark outside, it sets a great tone.
I'm pretty sure it will do very well and will be played a lot.
The last map we haven't seen in an operation is de_austria.
It's a snowy map with lots of beautiful details, buildings and the level design seems very
appealing, straight forward and fun.
Feels like Valve has chosen some really great maps for the new operation, IF this really
is the new operation, remember guys, nothing's sure yet, but we
can only hope because these maps look promising and would surely be a delightful experience
to have in a new operation.
The creator behind Austria is Radix.
I'll put all the maps in the video description.
Hope you enjoyed this video, I'll see you guys soon but in the meantime go 🍌.

How to Asana: Invite teammates to Asana - Duration: 2:18.Go grab your team! It's How to Asana.
Most goals aren't achieved by just one person,
but collaboration can sometimes be the
hardest part of work. But that's where
Asana comes in. The more teammates you
have tracking their work, the more
clarity you'll have on who's doing what,
by when. Here's how to get your team into
Asana. If you're the first one in your
organization to use the Asana, create a
team give it a description. Add members
and choose the privacy settings — we
recommend making it public to your
Organization. From the team page, you can
start conversations and add projects.
Create a project that a few teammates
can collaborate on. An easy project to
start with is a meeting agenda — there's
even a template for it! Next, invite a few
of your teammates. Click the orange plus
button and select 'Invite,' then type their
email addresses.
When they accept your invitation, they'll
automatically join your Organization.
Once they accept their invites, add them as
members of a project. Once more teammates
are in Asana, add them to any relevant
team projects and start creating tasks
for them.
You can also start team conversations to
keep everyone on the team in the loop.
It's like CCing people on an email
(without the email). As you all start
collaborating in Asana, you'll receive
notifications and can track your work
more efficiently. If you work with
clients, contractors, or anyone outside
your organization, you can also invite
them to your Asana domain. They'll have
limited access and can only see what is
explicitly shared with them.
There's no 'I' in team but there is in 'invite.'
Invite your team and start collaborating in Asana.

DonJon Legacy DJL - S01E03 - FR (SUB : EN, GE, SP, IT, FR) - Duration: 3:42.The Dream
This evil underground dungeon is your legacy, Jon.
You are the new master of this place.
Anybody here?
I am the heart of the donjon.
By dipping your hand in the bassin
and by feeling the Wand of Command, you have bound your soul to this place.
Our hearts are now beating at the same pace, as it was for your father.
Protect me from intruders.
Slaughter them or die with me.
I shall not slaughter anything. Are you out of your mind?
What?
I am a nice person.
Really?
Well yes.
Well then, you'll become evil.
Meanwhile, surround yourself with allies who shall be ready to kill for you or die.
Okay. I have no idea who's talking but he should quit drinking!
So, where's the exit?
A Stagehand will sprinkle the donjon with deadly traps.
But you're insane! I could have cut myself.
A Warlock shall summon devils from hell.
Oh gosh! You have a strong sunburn!
Well, one must say: you're not really a hat guy.
Please do not touch me! Your nails are gross!
If you wound me, it will get infected and I don't want to die of septicaemia.
A Beastmaster shall provide you with nightmarish creatures.
You wouldn't happen to know where the exit is by any chance?
No, right, I could have guessed. Does it bother you
if I throw up Out of terror?
My hair!
What the fuck's wrong with this moron?!
Well, if despite that there is resistance, bring out the magic of the Wand of Command.
Protect me or die with me!

Alright, whose hand is on my thigh?

Adel Tawil - Is there anyone? - Instrumental/Karaoke Universe HD - Duration: 3:56.No destination - walking down the streets
all through the night - can't get no sleep
You imagine someone is thinking about you
It feels as if you were all alone
in your way so many stones
and where to go you just don't know
And when the sky is without colors
You look right up and sometimes ask yourself
Is there someone who can feel my heart
who would walk down every road that we start
Is there anyone that I can't see?
Anyone waiting for me
Who takes the shadow off of my soul
who will always guide me back to my home
Is there anyone needing me
Anyone that I can't see?
Around you everyone just puts their brightest smile on
You join in - cause the last one leaves the lights on
The world is loud - your heart is deaf
You hoped so much, that one and one were two
And that someday somebody's gonna join you
Who talks to you without a word been said
And when the sky is without colors
You look right up and sometimes ask yourself
Is there someone who can feel my heart?
who would walk down every road that we start
Is there anyone believing in me?
Anyone waiting for me?
who takes the shadow right off of your soul
and who will always guide me back to my home
Is there anyone needing me?
Anyone that I can't see...
When you stop to search for more
You'll find all that you adore
And behind every new door
The sun could shine oh even more!
And every day, you have that choice
Just got to listen deep inside,
cause your voice will guide you right!
There is someone who can feel your heart
Who would walk down every road that you start
When you're down, just believe me it's true
Someone's out there waiting for you
Who takes the shadow right off of your soul
Who will always guide you back to your home
And everytime you need it the most!
Believe me he'll be there for you
There is someone who can feel your heart
who would walk down every road that you start
When you're down, just believe me it's true
There is someone waiting for you.
Who takes the shadow right off of your soul
who will always guide you back to your home
Believe me when you're down it's always so true.
There is someone waiting for you.
Someone is just waiting for you!
Someone is just waiting for you!

Today, we're talking about an all serie, it's Countdown : Road to the Disneyland Paris 25TH Anniversary.
This series is talking about the different anniversaries of Disneyland Paris.
Before starting, let me introduce you an important date.
Disneyland opened on 12th April 1992, in Marne La Vallée.
Back in time, more exactly in 1993, for the Disneyland Paris 1st Anniversary. The resort was called EuroDisney.
In 1993, the economy of the french resort was not really good, despite a first place in European destinations.
But with the economic recession who's affecting Europe.
And a fluctuating attendance.
Journalists are becoming skeptical about the future of the park.

I'm 42 Years Old - Duration: 8:43.[ Whimsical xylophone music ]
[ Mechanism whirring ]
[Michael Aranda:] Good morning, Toddly. [ sighs heavily ]
[Todd Williams:] Oh, good morning, Michael. Am I seeable?
[Michael:] You are seeable. [Todd:] Oh, hello…
[Michael:] How was your sleep? [Todd:] It was alright.
We, uh, have our window right next to the street,
so we hear—we hear all the things!
[Michael:] Yeah. [Todd:] Turns out I can... ignore them pretty well.
[Michael:] Yeah, I don't think I was woken up by anything outside last night.
[Todd:] What about inside?—Okay. [Michael:] Or inside.
[Michael:] I wasn't woken up during my sleep as far as I can remember.
[Todd:] That's great. [Michael:] I think maybe though I did have a dream
that I discovered that I was... actually Superman.
AND...
I found that if I covered my mouth and hummed a certain way
it sounded exactly like—Japanese violin instrument thing.
[ Katelyn chuckles ]
[Todd:] So that's what that noise was. [Michael:] Yeah.
[Todd:] Oh...kay. [laughs] [Michael:] That very soothing music
you woke up to was me humming in my sleep.
[Todd:] I did actually wake up to…
I think it was you eating something crunchy.
[Michael:] I got one of those Naked Chalupa things from Taco Bell last night.
[Todd:] Huh… [Katelyn Salem:] Oh, you got me some cinnamon twists.
Those were pretty crunchy.
[Todd:] That's the—that's what it was. [Michael:] She was eating the cinnamon twists.
[Todd:] 'Cause I remember sitting here and hearing this [ Todd imitates aggressive crunching noises ]
[ Michael and Katelyn giggle ] [Todd:] And I'm like, "Huh, okay…"
And I just, uh, rolled over.
[Michael:] What are we doing today?
[Todd:] We're going to go visit some kind folks
[ Car horn honks loudly on the street ] over at B&H here in about 20-ish minutes.
[Michael:] B&H! [Todd:] Yeah, that's B&H Photo.
[Michael:] They have lots of toys there.
[Todd:] They have, uhh… a ton of toys.
[Todd:] They're adult toys—No! [Michael:] Whoaaa!
[ Everyone laughs ] [Todd:] Nope!
[Michael:] Here's B&H, the adult store.
[Todd:] (Laughing) Oh no…
No, that's— No! No!
[ Store noises in background ]
[B&H Employee:] Oh, you didn't check out anything. [Michael:] No, we didn't check anything out.
[Todd:] ...Awesome. [Michael:] This is, uh... a big thing.
The amount of stuff in this store is pretty intense.
[Todd:] Yeah. [Michael:] So many computers.
[Michael:] Flight simulator. [Todd:] Wait, what?!
[Michael:] You gonna fly a thing, Todd? [Todd:] (Quizzically) I guess…?
[Michael:] So after this, Todd can fly us home on the airplane, right?
[Todd:] Yes, sure. [ Katelyn laughs ]
No, wait, I don't wanna do that.
Nope, nope. It's okay—
[Katelyn:] Todd... [Todd:] ...Nope.
[Katelyn:] Todd. You're not flying us home.
[Todd:] I don't know what I'm doing. [Michael:] Uh oh. Uh oh! Oooooohhhhhh.
[Michael:] All the lighting stuff…
So this guy is decked out with just a bunch of hidden cameras.
I assume there's one in the watch.
There's some kind of thing in the keys.
Maybe in the hat right here, definitely in the glasses.
[Michael:] Todd. [Todd:] Yeah.
[Michael:] I wanna live in this store.
It has all of the toys that I want.
[B&H Employee] Testing 1, 2, 3. Testing 1, 2.
3600 bucks.
Now I'm going to switch over to something a little cheaper.
...And testing 1, 2, 3— This is about $149.
[Michael:] That sounds much drier.
[B&H Employee:] It does sound— it doesn't sound as good,
[Employee:] but it's not a bad sounding microphone. [Michael:] Yeah.
[B&H Employee:] But that's what we can do in this room.
That's a—I mea—There's— There's no place around where you can...
[Employee:] compare microphones. [Michael:] Yeah, this is really cool.
[Katelyn:] (Distantly) [Laughs] Get right up in her face.
[Todd:] Don't think she'll mind.
[Michael:] Oop. I can see she's not real.
I better… Better hide that.
[ Michael laughs ]
[Michael:] We finished our tour of B&H.
We're hungry so we're gonna get food.
I'm planning to go back to the B&H store later
to maybe actually buy stuff.
I've had my eye on the Mavic drone.
It's a very small drone that I could just fit in a backpack and take traveling with me.
Because the Inspire 1—it's cool, but, uh, it's difficult to travel with.
[Todd:] Sounds like FUN, pal.
[Michael:] It's tons of fun, pal.
[Michael:] We just passed a gentleman back there
who was chanting,
(Chanting) "Buy me beer!
"I don't have my ID!"
[Todd:] "Buy me a beer!"
[Todd, Michael, and Katelyn:] (in unison) "I'm 42 years old!"
[ Michael laughs ]
[Michael:] Todd. [Todd:] Yes?
[Michael:] Would you ever live in New York City?
[Todd:] No. [Michael:] Why not?
[Todd:] No. Just take a listen.
[Michael:] Too loud? [Todd:] Yeah, I like my quiet.
[Michael:] It is pretty loud. [Todd:] There's just too many people…
[Michael:] I do feel like living here would be outside of my comfort zone
but, to a certain extent, I like the idea of doing things
that are outside of my comfort zone.
I feel about living in New York City the same way that I feel about skydiving.
I don't really want to go skydiving, but I want to have gone skydiving.
I don't really want to live in New York City,
but I want to have lived in New York City.
[Todd:] Okay, fair enough.
[Michael:] Well!...Well! [Todd:] Well, whatcha gonna do about it, buddy?
[Michael:] I don't know... I'll probably just keep living in Missoula for a while.
[Todd:] I like Montana.
[Michael:] This is more fast-paced than Montana is, for sure.
[Todd:] Yup.
[ Dance music ]
[Michael:] We went back to the B&H store because I was thinking about buying a drone
but if I buy it here in New York, I have to pay New York sales tax.
Whereas if I buy it in Montana, I don't, and that saves me like $100.
[Todd:] That's a lot of money. [Michael:] So I'm not gonna do it today.
[ Jaunty trumpet music and cars honking ]
[Katelyn:] (Quietly) So loud.
[Michael:] Welcome to Times Square!
[Katelyn:] It's so bright!
[Michael:] How do you feel about it aside from being bright?
[Katelyn:] That's a—that's a nice McDonald "M." [Michael:] Yeah.
[Katelyn:] Those golden arches. [Michael:] Yeah.
[Todd:] The golden arches!
[Katelyn:] Yeah, this is exciting.
[Street Performer:] (singing) Oh oh!
Ay ay!
[Passing Pedestrian:] What's up, Statue?
[Street Performer:] (singing) Oh oh!
[ Upbeat drum machine music fades out ]
[Michael:] Would you be sad if someone proposed to you with M&Ms that said "Will you marry me?"
[Katelyn:] No. [Michael:] Is that cute or not?
[Katelyn:] Uh, I wouldn't…
(Laughing) I don't know how to answer that question.
[Michael:] I tweeted out asking for suggestions on
where we should eat, especially for good burgers,
and, uh, Black Tap was suggested by multiple people,
[Todd:] Black Tap!
[Michael:] so we're walking to Black Tap. [Todd:] Black Tap!
[Katelyn:] Black Tap! [Michael:] Black Tap!
[Todd:] Black Tap! [Katelyn:] Black Tap!
[Michael:] Look, Black Tack! Craft burgers and beer!
[Michael:] Todd, there's a line to get into this place.
[Todd:] Yeah? [Michael:] A line, we have to wait in line.
[Todd:] You like lines? [Michael:] (Emphatically chuckles) No.
[Todd:] Oh. [Michael:] Lines are no bueno.
[Michael:] We have to wait until someone inside finishes dining,
and there's people inside just... looking at their phones
instead of eating and hurrying up.
[Michael:] We made it! We made it through the line!
[Hostess:] Enjoy your meal! [Michael:] Thank you!
[Michael:] Whoo!
[Michael:] We've got all kinds of craft burgers here.
Pizza Burger, they have a vegan burger,
and then "Crazy Shakes!"
Sweet N' Salty peanut butter shake, strawberry shake, vanilla cookie shake.
Fruity Pebbles shake?!
Vanilla frosted rim with Fruity Pebbles topped with
a Fruity Pebbles Rice Krispie Treat, strawberry Pop-Tart,
Nerds Rope, whipped cream, and a cherry.
[Katelyn:] (Laughing) Jesus christ!
[Todd:] So, what are you doing with your life?
[Michael:] I'll do "The Mexico City," please.
And then, I'm afraid I'm gonna have to try this Bam Bam shake.
[ Angelic chord ]
[Michael:] I'm not sure how I'm supposed to eat this thing!
It's so big!
[Michael:] Todd there's a house in that truck.
[Todd:] Should I go knock on the door?
[Michael:] I don't know, what does it say?
[ Katelyn chuckles ]
[Todd:] It's not really a house.
[Michael:] What is it?
[Todd:] (Muffled) It looks like just some film equipment.
[Michael:] Well, it does say that there's a film shoot right here.
[Michael:] Todd, would you like some pleasure for thirteen dollars and ninety cents?
[Todd:] What?
[Michael:] Would you like some pleasure for thirteen dollars and ninety cents?
[Katelyn:] (Laughing) That's a deal, Todd.
[Todd:] You know what? You're in the big city, that's a good deal.
[ Drumming on metal pans and plastic buckets ]
[Michael:] Todd. [Todd:] Yep.
[Michael:] Katelyn. [Katelyn:] Hmm?
[Michael:] I have a very important decision to make.
Should I... let Kelsey... take my stitches out?
[Katelyn:] I don't see why not. [Todd:] If she wants to.
[Michael:] I'm supposed to have gotten them out yesterday.
I could either have her take them out tomorrow night when we get home,
or... on Thursday I can go into the hospital or clinic or something.
Actually, though, I've found that using the stitches
to scratch other parts of my body feels nice.
I have these stitches in my fingers!
In my fangers!
[Michael:] Real quick before I go to bed I just wanted to say thank you to everybody
who contributed to that birthday video that got uploaded on the, um...
WhereWe'reHangingRightNow YouTube channel.
It gave me lots of feels.
I do feel a little bit weird about promoting something that, uh…
is so obviously complimentary of myself, so I don't plan on putting a link to it anywhere,
but I'm sure if you're interested in finding out where that is, uh... you can do that!
So, anyway... Thanks for watching and I'll see you tomorrow.

You Get To Choose How Your Week Will Be - LadyBoss TV - Duration: 5:08.Happy, happy Monday.
Just wanted to get on here and tell you guys you get to choose to have a good week.
You get to choose to start your week off right.
Right now!
I'm in Boise, Idaho it is 6:00 AM, and I'm currently doing cardio.
There I am.
See?
It isn't very good to get up at 5:30 to get it done, 4:30 to get it done.
You got to get it done.
Okay?
Especially with all them treats you ate yesterday.
Don't allow what happened yesterday to dictate your week.
I know you probably ate some stuff you didn't want to eat, drank some stuff you shouldn't
have drank, and now you're like oh my gosh I feel terrible.
Well guess what?
You get to choose to get back on the horse today.
You get to choose to have a great week today.
All right?
It's a choice.
Today don't start out by being like, oh man instant regret.
Wake up, decide you're going to have a great week.
Do something about it.
Do something about it.
We all have a choice.
We all have a choice.
Did I want to get up at 5:30 this morning to do cardio?
No.
Did I do it?
Yes.
Why?
I needed to.
It was on my list of things to do.
Did I complain about it?
No.
Don't assign a level of difficulty to anything that you have to do.
It's just another thing that you need to get done.
All right?
Happy Monday.
No, tomorrows not okay.
Do it right now.
Today not tomorrow, that's my motto.
TNT, today not tomorrow.
I'm on my treadmill right now guys.
You should go get on yours.
Do something.
Walk around the block, get your body moving, start your week off right, start your Monday
off right.
Set the tone for your week, and do something today.
Get it done.
Another thing guys.
You guys are so awful.
There's so many of you on so early in the morning, it's crazy.
Just finished cardio.
Brianna that's awesome.
Girl killing it, killing it, killing it.
Dang.
Guys another thing don't be a complainer about the stuff that you need to do.
Don't be a complainer about the stuff you need to do.
You know that you need to get to the gym, that you need to get your cardio in, that
you need to go for a walk, that you need to eat healthier.
A lot of us have a problem complaining about it the whole way.
Which just makes it harder.
Complaining is like quicksand.
Complaining is like quicksand.
It just makes you sink, you can't go anywhere, it makes you struggle, it makes you have to
fight it.
We got to stop the complaining.
You got to stop complaining about what you have to do.
Be excited, be excited.
Be like, you know what I didn't want to get up at 5:30 this morning to do cardio and work
out in a little hotel gym, but I was like man I'm excited to challenge myself, to get
up at a time I normally do not get up at, and workout at a place that only has dumbbells
for me.
I'm excited for that.
Instead of complaining like, this gym don't have much, I have to get up at 5:30 AM it
doesn't even have what I want.
Instead of complaining I just look at it as a challenge.
This week, this week I want you guys to focus on that.
Instead of complaining look at the bright side.
How is it going to push you?
How is it going to challenge you?
How is it going to change you?
Really focus on that.
Stop complaining about what you need to do, about what you need to get done, and just
do it.
Don't assign a level of difficulty to it, just put it as another thing on your checklist.
Another thing on your checklist to get done.
Happy Monday.
Love you guys.
You can do it.
Don't feel regret this morning for yesterday, just know that today is a new week, today
is a new day, but you have to set the bar today for how this week is going to go for
you.
You have to set the bar right now.
This Monday morning do some jumping jacks, do some pushups, do at home workout, run around
the block real quick.
Set the bar, set the standard for this week and get after it.
Love you guys.

Message Important ! - Duration: 5:29.Hi everyone, it's Dylan. I hope you are okay, it goes nickel
Today we find ourselves in a small video, I will tell you about everything that happened on the chain during 3 weeks of inactivity.
Apart from snapchat, you have my SNAP just there (in case) and so I had to talk to you because there may be people who thought I was stopping YouTube or other ...
That is not the case at all. I never say it often but it is important to follow me on social networks like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and especially on Snapchat because I am often active
This is the one that I will explain everything and tell you my problems like why I'm not active, .... so I really advise you to follow me, the links are in the description
I also wanted to thank you for the 1662 subscribers, thank you very much! Because even though I'm not really active with the problems I'm going to explain, there were more and more subscriptions
I will try to make this short video
So, as you know for certain. I have an apartment since January but I did not have internet as you know too. At first I used the public WI-FI orange because I was still at orange
But still, I still had my orange number but I subscribed to the FREE package so I had 2 numbers so I could use orange Wi-Fi but in the meantime the orange line has cut off, logical View that i am going to free
So I could no longer enjoy their public wifi, nor was it free because it required a Freebox subscription and I do not have one. So I had no internet and that's the one that there was a problem, meanwhile I used the 4G of my gsm
So I uploaded my videos to 4G from my phone, I was sharing a connection from my gsm to my Mac. The problem is that I have fallen in narrow flow reduced view that I upload the videos, the gigas they parade
As I have only 50 gigas (even if it's already huge) but between snaps, social networks, promotions, emails, videos it takes a lot and so I fell in reduced bitrate.
So it was impossible to upload a video knowing that it would take 2 weeks. So I stayed 2-3 weeks in reduced flow, for me it was very hard because of all I had to do ... because for my job it is necessary internet
So I called free to order the Freebox, so he gets to locate my apartment to open the line. They located it, it went very well. The technician has also passed, it went very well
But he did not manage to find the other end of the line because there are 2, in short, stupid tricks. So the order was half canceled according to the free mail so I could not have internet but I could have my new package of 50 gigas
And now for 2-3 days, I have a friend who has come and it has literally saved my life! It gave me passes (free and legal) of public wifi orange, free and sfr so I have internet thanks to that (meanwhile) and for the box I do not know what it goes
I apologize for having bothered you with all this but I wanted to make things clear that I do not call YouTube, it's my passion, I have fun with, I love my subscribers, we are more and more, why Stop there?
Anyway I do not feel like, I keep YouTube really sorry for all that! Mia sje will get a good pace now that I have the public wifi is a lot better
I really apologize again and thank you for your loyalty and your support and for the new subscription, thank you !!! I have wifi, in 2 days you will have a new videos
kiss

How To Get A Clean Scalp Without Washing Your Hair - Duration: 12:48.hey guys welcome back to my Channel
today I'm going to be showing you a
quick and easy way that i cleanse my
scalp in between washes. this is a
method that helps me to control issues
with dandruff or flaky scalp that may
pop up in between washes or if I'm
at a point where I need to wash but I'm
in a pinch for time or my schedule won't
permit the washing or i might be just a
little bit lazy then this is something
that I do I wouldn't say that
this is something that you should make habit
of but it is a good method to put your
in your just-in-case bag. so just in case you don't
have time just because your schedule
doesn't permit just in case you're from
not feeling well and you can't wash your
hair this is something that you can do
to maintain your scalp and just keep it
a little bit clean in between your
wash days. so while you're here make sure
that you go ahead and subscribe click
the button wherever it is give this video a
thumbs up if you're interested in seeing
more like this if you're new
thanks for stopping by my oldies and
goodies thank you so much i see you i
appreciate you so yeah so without
further ado let's get into it so first
what you need is either a cotton pad
like a cotton square, a baby wipe or
facial wipe a gentle facial wipe or i
would even advise like an old t-shirt
and the good thing about old t-shirt is
that you won't get a lot of lint being
left behind in your hair that you would with a
cotton square you know what I mean? you
wouldn't get like I any fiber being left
or at least not as much as you would
with cotton so I like to use these old
dried out pack of wipes. I save these I don't throw these away
because they do come in handy
I will either use them on my face i will
saturate them in either my micellar
micellar cleansing water
how do you say that? Micellar or micellar . let me
know in the comments if it's micellar or
micellar. anyhow! my cleansing water or my
rose spray i will saturate in that and then
go ahead and wipe my face so I
never throw these out but what they do come
in handy for is cleansing the scalp I have
one of them here and like i said this is a
good sturdy one you can purchase wipes and stuff
at the dollar store but you do want to
be careful and just be mindful that some
brands of wipes, facial wipes I find
to be a little bit more sturdy but there
are some brands on baby wipes are pretty
cheap and they actually start to
disintegrate as if they were
toilet paper
and they're not even the flushable wipes
I'm just talking about some cheap wipes
that leave a lot of stuff behind so just
be mindful of that and just be careful
with that so your wipes and you're
going to need some witch hazel this is
86% witch hazel if you
can find 1 that is higher in witch hazel
content, 90 and above, the better because
that means that you are dealing with
less alcohol the higher the witch hazel
content you're already dealing with dry
scalp sometimes you know the less
alcohol that you are putting on your
scalp the better
this is the brand of with hazel that i
have with me there was another brand i
was using but I forget it has like a floral
label on it i forget but I used that I left
one in Barbados when I had it
This is the witch hazel I'll be using once you clean
your scalp you just want to follow up
with whatever your favorite oil is
This is my home made mix that I just keep adding oils into
this is my Nature's Essentials "My Everything"
oil. just literally those three things
the wipe, the witch hazel and your
favorite scalp oil so without further
ado let's get into this cleansing
situation. so first I take my hair down
and you can separate your hair into four
sections and that would probably make it
easier to work section by section i'm
just going to separate into two sections
here and put the back half of my head into
a ponytail then split the front half into
two sections and go from there
next I fold the wipe four times and this is
just me being a little bit methodical
about how i use the wipe you can use as many
wipes as you want but I only intend to
use this one
and this is just to make sure that as a
section gets dirty I then fold the
wipe, or flip it, use a clean section to wipe
my scalp and I just go ahead and saturate
and make sure that I get witch hazel all
throughout the wipe and then I start to
work so first I start near the temple
and I just go in and rub
vigorously with the wipe to start
lifting the dirt off my scalp and i will
saturate as i go through with witch hazel just to
make sure that the wipe stays you know
wet, stays moist. so I just work through and
just keep rubbing back and forth making
sure to really get into the parts and
even under the locs and as you can see here
there's dirt
so this slow mo[tion] is just to show you
that once I feel apart of the wipe is
dirty I flip it and use the other side to clean the scalp
so I know for some people this may look like
I'm really working in there like really
getting it in but this doesn't irritate
my scalp at all the wipe is smooth
and it doesn't cause like any scalp burn
or scalp irritation at least for me it
doesn't. here i hope you guys can see the
bit of flakiness going on at the top of my
head and the great thing about the wipe and it
being moist with the witch hazel is
that the witch hazel really helps to
lift the dirt and the flakiness and
dandruff and any residue off the scalp and
really get the scalp clean you know in the
meantime and between time. there's the dirt to prove it
again, once i feel like a section of the
wipe is dirty I just unfold it flip it in
another direction so that i am working with
a clean section as i move along
remember to keep reapplying your witch hazel
so that your t-shirt or your wipe or
whatever you're using doesn't go completely
dry
and here are the results right here on
this wipe of all the dirt that was
lifted off my scalp during this process
I know gross... gross! but it works
next i just go ahead and oil my scalp and
i start by separating my hair into 2 sections straight down the
middle and proceeding with oiling if
you're interested in what is in these oils
you can go ahead and watch my video
after this one of course on how i retwist my
hair and style my hair in protective
loc braids the link will be in the
description if you're interested in
checking it out so just make sure to
massage my everything
that's the name of the oil, the nature's
essential oil. i just make sure to massage
that into the scalp and then next i
on to my home made mix and just use
a little bit of that to run
through my hair and put it on my scalp as well because
it smells really really good
next I just proceeded with styling and I
put my hair into two milkmaid braids and
secured them at the back with a rubber band
ok guys so that's it after I did my
cleansing with this now very dirty wipe
i don't know if you can see that.
so after I wiped
with that just let it [my hair] dry for a little
bit and then went on to oil my scalp
with my oils. your roots obviously won't
be fresh 2 death after this, okay? they're
going to be a little bit fuzzy but
they won't be completely unraveled if
you have a kinky hair like mine or hair
with a tighter coil they won't be that
unraveled. I can't really speak to what
may happen with a looser curl especially if
you are palm rolling like i do so yeah
it's quick it's easy it's something that
can tide you over in the meantime and
between time when it comes to getting
your wash in, if you can't do that exactly
when you should - the flakes are showing up but
it's effective and it's good for what it
is like I said don't make a habit of
this because if your witch hazel is
high in alcohol content that may be a
little bit drying on your scalp
initially, if you get what I'm saying. but this is also good
to maintain locs in the early stages when
some people recommend that you don't
wash so much for fear of your starter locs
unraveling or becoming undone so if
that's a concern that you have i
would recommend witch hazel. i prefer
witch hazel to those cleansing gels that are on
the market because i do find those
really drying. and guys another tip
I would recommend oils that are good for the
scalp so stuff with tea tree, peppermint
rosemary, eucalyptus, lavender
anything that really helps with
antibacterial antifungal properties get
some oils with those in it to help with the
dryness and the flakiness that happens
and ...remember my ginger wash? click that "i"
or a link in the description the
leftover bit from that ginger wash if
you do put in a spray bottle after you
cleanse your scalp you might find it
beneficial to spritz your scalp with
that leftover ginger rinse after you
cleanse with the witch hazel that would
be a great time to go in with that
ginger rinse that you put in the spray bottle
Guys I hope that this was helpful or useful
for you if this is something that you think
you'd be able to try or that may help
you with your routine

So Much Hamilton (ft. Katrina Eames) - theJunieBird - Duration: 10:39.Rachel:Hey folks, uh I'm Rachel Pierce and this
is my friend Katrina:Katrina Eames. Rachel:Yeah, so we're
doing-- we're going to talk about... we're
going to talk about um Hamilton
obviously & Hamilton's impact on popular
music and on Broadway in general, but
before we do that. What do you like to
make videos about? Tell us. K:Uh I like to
make, I'll all of my videos come from the
idea that I want to teach my youngest
brother to be a good person. R:Aww! K:And I want
to make the world a better place through
my creativity and my intelligence and
love of researching. So I make a lot of
political videos, I make a lot of videos
about why empathy and compassion are
important things and how lots of
inequalities in the world are solved
with compassion empathy, and working
towards justice with a community. R:That's
like, an amazing idea for a channel and
like that's so cool I've never heard-- I
don't think I've ever heard you say that
before, or heard like anyone say anything
like that. I like I like your videos
because you are (and I like to think that
I do this as well) but you are very good
at like putting larger things into
context so we understand more of like
what's happening, and why it's either a
good thing or a not great thing. K:Yeah. R: So...
K: I tried very hard to do that. R:Yeah.
K:Especially since lots of my videos are
addressed to what is currently a
seven-year-old child. R: Yeah. But we both
love Hamilton. K: A lot. R: So, obviously we had
to talk about Hamilton while we were
here and together. Right? K:Yeah. R:Like.... K:What
else would we even do? R:I mean we could
have sung some Hamilton. That was an option. K:Eeeh.
R: I think that, and I think you'll agree
with me here, that Hamilton is kind of
the next theory of evolution in Broadway
in general, but even on a more larger
perspective, it's like the next evolution
of musical storytelling as a whole. K:You
can really see how it's progressing
several different genres and diff--
and different formats of entertainment
which is really cool. R:Yeah. K:I like living
in the time that Hamilton was made a lot.
R:Yeah. And, and it's interesting,
because we even see it like in the show
itself. It's not just like the music, it's
the whole show is like, this is what's
next on Broadway. K:Yeah. R:This is what we want
next in media, to have like really
thoughtful and diverse and new ideas and
themes going into something that is very
well established, and has existed for a
really long time, like Broadway has. I feel
like the last time there was really any
big like shake-up in Broadway was with
Rent. Yeah, and I mean I guess an argument
can be made for In the Heights as well,
with like the salsa music, and and more
new styles but that's just like the
evolution of Lin Manuel Miranda. Yeah. And
I feel like that's more of the person
and not of the genre musical theatre
great always because In the Heights is a
great show, but it didn't actually make a
lot of waves, or have a lot of influence
right in the community, and changing how
things are done. Yeah, but I personally
love it. Rent is like, that's the last
time that there was a show that was so
alternative to most of what's on
Broadway that has spawned people
imitating it and also like making rock
musicals. Even the ones that like did
have the bigger budget and and were
like, well thought of, and even like
were nominated for Tonys and stuff,
did not have as much staying power as
Rent did. Things like Rock of Ages and
like School of Rock now is doing pretty
good, but Rent rent was the first one to
really say like, 'okay, we're gonna we're
gonna do something really different that
you've never seen before'. Before Rent,
musicals were just pleasant and
entertaining, and I didn't have
necessarily say a lot to be considered
good musicals. Yes, that's a really good
point musicals- musicals were never--
Broadway in general... like, plays were taken
very seriously, and and like would have
political points to them, um I'm thinking
of The Crucible, just because I'm
familiar with it, I did it in high school.
But musicals were we're not very
political. Like, I'm racking my brain
trying to think of a semi political
musical. So one thing I've noticed as
musicals have been changing is that it
follows the path of lots of other uh
narratives. It starts out very very white
and gradually becomes less so. R: Oh. K: Ending in
Hamilton. R: Yeah. That's a good point.
K: And then Rent is also, has a very diverse cast
where about half the characters are white,
yeah and about half the characters are
Oh a third of the characters are
straight and cis and um Hamilton of
course made the point to have a mostly
non white cast, and I think that's been
really revolutionary because it's also
allowing more people to tell their
stories and access their narrative and
access this field of entertainment which
has historically been incredibly white.
Now, I pass as white, so a lot of the
times I'm not affected by these casting
decisions. When I go for things,
because I can just pretend that I'm
white and not asian. R: Right. K: but I also am
not white enough to go up for white
rolls, and I'm not Asian enough to go for- R: Interesting.
K: -Asian roles, so I don't get cast for
anything which stinks. Hamilton you could be
cast for him I could be Hamilton you
could be in hit you could be Hamilton I
could be Hamilton maybe. Actually, that's
a lot of pressure, I'll be Peggy. Yeah
R: You would make a good Peggy. K: Right?
R: Like, Leslie Odom Jr., Daveed Diggs, like
they're they're all getting roles in TV
and in movies now, because of Hamilton.
Like, it's really professor careers
further which is great and also like I
know that Daveed Diggs has made it,
because the Daveed Diggs was on Sesame
Street, and that's how you know you're
famous once you got invited to Sesame
Street. He's like a (semi) regular on Blackish
now. oh so good yeah it's it's really
awesome. It works narratively as well,
like I think that stories and like the
way that storytelling exists on Broadway...
Broadway is kind of like a testing
ground for new actors, but also for new
ways of telling stories, and I think it
we're going to start seeing it more and
more in other forms of media we're going
to start seeing movies that use music
more and hip-hop, I imagine, more in ways
that like are not just, 'oh we're using
hip-hop like as a background to a club
scene, like we're using hip-hop to show
that this is an urban environment. So
people are becoming more aware of
musical theatre in a way that I never
thought that I would experience in my
lifetime, yeah because just because I
burst out into song if you say like
three words, normally means that I'm the
only person bursting out into song R: Oh
yeah, definitely. K: But recently I uh, for
the winter I work at an ice skating
rink, which is a super fun place to work
because after Christmas ends they just
have a nice top 40 playlist, and at one
point I obviously singing
along to all of the music that is played
all the time, uh sometimes without
recognizing the songs and we get about
halfway through the song I'm going hmm
and on this and I'm just jamming out I
think, 'wow, this sounds really familiar.
What is it from, what could this possibly
be from?' And it's like "forgiveness, can
you imagine." I'm like 'Wait a minute this
is.. Is this is a popular song now!? Yes! R: It's
been really great talking with you and
just talking about Hamilton in general.
You can never get enough Hamilton. K: I also
enjoyed talking with you. Yeah. he
Hamilton just so much so much Hamilton,
Thanks so much for watching guys, check
over on Katrina's channel, we did a video
over there about the history in Hamilton,
like the history in the story and what
they did right and what they did
horribly wrong. K: What they took some
creative liberties on. Yeah, I didn't.
That's a nice way of putting it, I was
not well known nice. Oh well, um yeah and
give us a thumbs up, subscribe if you
feel so inclined um watch all of my
videos and the advertisements before them
there we go. Yeah. Obviously that's a
great place to end.
R:We're in my sister's apartment. K:Yeah,
it's great. R:Yeah she hasn't met her yet.
K:I haven't had the chance. Wait, is she in France?
R:No. K:Okay. R:She's at work.

Habits of Cliff Burton | 4 things that made him the Metallica bass legend | Andriy Vasylenko - Duration: 5:15.Hi friends. Andriy Vasylenko
What habits
made Cliff Burton the musician we know
and love
a master of fingerstyle
expressive improviser and the engine
of songwriting in Metallica
A habit is
kind of action by default with no big
struggle to take it. It's a thing that you
would rather do than not. In our habits
hide who we are and shall be
Great musicians have become such because of
their habits, everyday actions, especially
in practice
Cliff Burton is one of the best
bass players in rock history and he
unleashed his talent being quite young
His passion and dedication were so
huge, and that let him to become a
professional even before reaching full age
Obviously, he got good habits
we talk about musical ones. For the first
time cliff took bass at the age of 13
affected by brother's death. His parents
told that the first tries in bass playing
were not so successful and only in half
of year they began to see his potential
Then the routine the habits began to
form. So, habit number one - practicing from
four to six hours every day. Cliff took
bass and played at any suitable time
just woke up, before or instead of sleep
on rehearsals and gigs of course. Just
imagine - at the moment of joining
Metallica in 1983 Cliff already had more
than 11,000 total hours of practice
That's how Burton's feeling of bass
reached almost physical level - he just
spent too much time with the four string
motherf*cker. And the routine continued up to
the September night in 1986. Habit number two
transcribing classical music Cliff
adored classical composers. He really
just
sit down and played Bach, he loved Bach
his mother told
What he got from
classical music is deep awareness of
composition, harmonies, notation, and also
strenght and stretch four fingers because
all the classical arpeggio and passages
were initially on keyboard, and
on bass they looked unusual and complicated
And that we can see it in Burton's art
in particular in Anesthesia and Orion
Habit number three - reproducing harmonies
One of the strongest sides of cliffs
musicality - he practically saw the
harmonies and he could reproduce them
whether playing an instrument or singing
For example, when he heard a favorite song
with such harmony on radio he
immediately sang a harmony part
separating it from the main root line
Besides bass he also played piano and guitar
accordingly to Kirk Hammett, Cliff
always carried a small acoustic guitar
downtuned to C to write harmonies
And exactly Cliff brought the knowledge of
harmonies into Metallica
And habit number four - seeking for more
Xcliff was starving for knowledge and the
dedication knew no limits. He changed
several bass teachers in first few
years of practice because he just all
overgrew them, he attended musical college
to deepen the knowledge of music theory
and he was reading books all the time
about bass (and with no tabs)
about composition and other stuff that could
make him a better musician. Cliff didn't
want to wallow in traditional role of bass
players in rock music, he was a composer
of full value true artist. He knew when
to give up musical ego for the sake of
composition, and when take a lead and
reap all the sh*t out of that. So that was
my little study about Cliff Burton
and this material is in my book
'Total Cliff: the legacy of Cliff Burton' which now
is available for my patrons. Maybe next
time we'll learn what signature licks
and features in playing Cliff had

Taller de Animación 2D 28 de Enero de 2017 en Parque Cultural de Valparaíso - Duration: 4:44.What did you think about the workshop?
Hey... good
For people who, like drawing, have like ... or want to leave their comfort zone
Can be something ... interesting to play with what, with his ... I do not know, with his ... affinity to drawing, can come here.
I find it super good, since I learned
The 2d technique that I did not know before and it was pretty good
It was very stressful yes the last step
where history had to be created
but the workshop was very good in itself
The workshop is very good
The exercises are quite clear to learn the time, the movement in animation
and well would also be a workshop with more sessions
so to follow ... experimenting.
I really enjoyed the workshop and...
It starts as little by little and then as they leave you free
and you can play a lot.
Well the workshop was very entertaining
I even learned things I had never met
and recommended 100%.
and hopefully are workshops of more sessions to be able to work with more elaborate projects, that.

Lia Marie Johnson - DNA (w/ lyrics) - Duration: 3:36.Dark as midnight Six pack Coors Light You don't look the same
Past my bedtime Blue and red lights Come take you away
Hate to see you like a monster So I run and hide Hate to ask but what's it like to leave me behind
I won't be, no I won't be like you Fighting back, I'm fighting back the truth Eyes like yours can't look away But you can't stop DNA No, you can't stop DNA
Twice a year, you come in crashing Nice to see you too Johnny Cash and backseat laughing Always ends too soon
Hate to say hello 'cause I know that it means goodbye Hate to ask but what's it like to leave me behind
I won't be, no I won't be like you Fighting back, I'm fighting back the truth Eyes like yours can't look away But you can't stop DNA No, you can't stop DNA
Are the pieces of you,In the pieces of me? I'm just so scared, you're who I'll be When I erupt, just like you do They look at me,like I look at you
I won't be, no I won't be like you Fighting back, I'm fighting back the truth Eyes like yours can't look away But you can't stop DNA No, you can't stop DNA
