How The Nintendo Switch Handles NeoGeo Censorship - Duration: 2:42.
Hey everyone, it's Dan from Censored Gaming.
Early adopters of the Nintendo Switch may be pleased to know that the system already
has a pretty beefy library of Neo Geo titles available for purchase.
The Neo Geo, of course, being the classic arcade system from the folks at SNK, that
also later went on to have a home console version released.
The platform was famous in the 90s for its wealth of high quality titles, including many
legendary 2D fighters, such as King of Fighters, Fatal Fury and Samurai Showdown.
However, the system was also rather infamous for the strict censorship practises for its
games released outside of Japan.
For many years, the King of Fighters series, for example, would have breast physics removed
from every single game, alongside other changes such as the removal of blood.
This censorship mainly affected the home releases though, with it normally being possible to
disable it in arcades, and today we'll be taking a look at how exactly censorship works
for the new Nintendo Switch releases.
The first thing to point out is that all of the ports are based on the arcade versions,
which is great news for those worried about censorship as, as mentioned, the arcade ports
were much less strict with this.
What you may sometimes find, however, is that certain censorship will be made to the English
versions but it will also be possible to disable this via the settings.
This is exactly how it works in the Switch versions too and, when navigating through
the options in games like Metal Slug, you'll be able to find settings to enable the blood
and gore.
Shock Troopers is another game that has this feature, so make sure to flip the switch if
you want to see the violence, just like in English arcades.
Additionally, when booting up each title, you are given the option of playing in either
Japanese mode or English mode.
This means that you can also even just pick the Japanese version and be sure that you
are playing the game as originally intended.
It's worth pointing out that this is also how the PS4 and Xbox One Neo Geo games work,
so those of you without a Switch aren't out of luck.
However, not all titles are available on all platforms, with some of these currently being
Switch exclusives and vice versa.
Neo Geo titles currently released for the Switch are Metal Slug, Metal Slug 3, The King
of Fighters '94, The King of Fighters '98, Waku Waku 7, World Heroes Perfect, Neo Turf
Masters, Shock Troopers and NAM-1975.

Bitter Paul Ryan Tells Trump Not To Work With Democrats On Healthcare - Duration: 2:56.
Paul Ryan, during an interview with CBS this morning, said that he does not want Donald
Trump to work with Democrats in any way to come up with some kind of new healthcare plan
for the United States.
Obviously, Paul Ryan is still a little bit bitter about the fact that he has been talking
non-stop about repealing and replacing Obamacare for seven years, and when he finally gets
the opportunity to do it, he fails absolutely miserably in front of the entire country.
Yeah, no wonder Paul Ryan wouldn't want Donald Trump to work with Democrats as Donald Trump
has said that he might attempt to do.
But here's the reality of this, nobody is going to work with anybody else when it comes
to making a better healthcare bill.
The Republicans, including Donald Trump, do not want input from the Democrats because
if they get input from the Democrats, it's going to basically be the same legislation
that the Affordable Care Act is with maybe a few provisions that are going to lower insurance
premiums and lower the cost of prescription drugs.
Republicans don't want that.
Paul Ryan sure as hell doesn't want that, so of course he wouldn't want anybody working
with the Democrats.
But furthermore, the Republicans are the ones who have campaigned on this for seven years.
The Democrats have not.
They created the Affordable Care Act.
Sure, they want to make it better, but it wasn't a big issue for them.
They moved on to other important things happening in this country, but the Republicans never
did.
The Democrats do not owe the Republicans their cooperation on this piece of legislation.
They did their work.
They did it in 2009 and 2010 when this piece of legislation was signed into law.
They've done their part.
They could make it better, and they're trying to.
There's other pieces of legislation they've introduced recently to kind of further this
a little bit, but for the most part this hangs on the heads of Republicans.
If Donald Trump decides to work with Democrats on making a better bill, that's actually going
to help the Republican Party, and I think Donald Trump knows that.
If, by the end of this year, we get a new healthcare law, even if it is a bi-partisan
law, even if it's 90% written by Democrats, the Republicans are the ones who get credit
for that.
Donald Trump knows that and that's why he wants to work with them.
Paul Ryan, being the pissy little man child that he is, doesn't quite understand that,
so he is willing to take his legislation and go home because he doesn't want anybody working
with those pesky little Democrats who foiled his seven year plan.

Now I stand here with a giant cabinet
the only thing I've done with this now is that I have painted the inside with
two coats Paris Grey
Annie Sloan's chalk paint
and now I have chosen to paint
This cabinet with my own mix
I love dull blue colors

1 part Old White 1 part French Linen (or Paris Grey) 1 part Aubusson
The first thing I do now, before I start painting, I
make my color mixture, thus
one-third each out of three different colors
and then I will just start painting

this cabinet and I have not washed it either
..nothing, it's just to go on and paint,

So that's what I'll do!
I have actually built me in on a very, very small area here
to show that it is just fine to work in small areas also
and here you see
how tiny it is where I stand!
But on the other hand, because the paint itself do not smell anything,
it's the waxes which can smell a little but it is still not...
... it evaporates actually pretty fast

So you might as well squeeze yourself into a tiny corner in the kitchen or in
the living room or what ever
and because it goes so fast you can actually
do it at home too
it's no problem!
And you do not have to have that painting chaos
to last long, either
because it is so damn fast to create with this paint!

You know, when I was living in Oregon… this was before I was a Christian…
I took a job working for one of the professors at the university I was attending.
And a couple of my friends went to work, as well.
He had a huge property out in the country.
And there was an old dry riverbed that ran through his property, and our job, we spent
the whole day lifting these huge river stones and putting them in the back of a pickup truck
and getting rid of them.
He was going to cultivate all of the land.
We did that.
And then there was probably, I don't know, 20 or 30 acres of blackberry bushes that we
had to trim back.
It was really hard work.
And it was hot.
It was in the middle of summer.
And one of my friends that was there…
I don't know how he worked it out, but he did… he found out that there was a back
road that came into the property.
So he had another mutual friend pick him up.
He went out to work with everyone, worked for about ten minutes and made his way to
the back road, had his friend pick him up, went off and did whatever… you know, I'm
actually quite sure he went off and smoked weed… and then came back at about finishing
time when we got about 20 minutes left and then just put in about 20 minutes of work,
and we actually got paid every day.
At the end of each day he paid us in cash for working out there.
And we're all standing in line, and it comes to the professor, you know, I get my pay,
the next guy gets his pay, and here's my friend.
And he just took one look at him, says, "Get off of my property and never come back."
I don't know how he knew.
I don't know if he was watching with binoculars, I just don't know; but you know what?
Nobody after that day ever loafed because we realized that the professor could see.
Well, you know, it's important for a leader, when you see things, to be able to make the
hard call even if it's cutting somebody off like that."

1994-2004 Mustang SR Performance Shock & Strut Kit GT, V6, Mach 1, Cobra Review - Duration: 6:48.
What's going on, guys?
I'm Alex from americanmuscle.com, and today I'm bringing you my quick review and breakdown
of the SR Performance Shock and Strut Kit, fitting your 1994 through 2004 Mustang GT
and V6, '03-'04 Mach 1, and your '94 through '98 Cobra.
So in this video, I'm gonna talk about who this kit's going to appeal to, some signs
of premature strut and shock failure, what you should expect to be spending.
And then what's it gonna take to get these onto your car, where I'm gonna be giving these
a pretty solid one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter and about two hours of
labor.
And I'll have a little bit more for you on that later.
So if you're the owner of a '94 through '04 Mustang and your struts and shocks are on
their way out, which I'll talk about in a little bit.
Or if you're just looking to drastically improve your ride handling as well as quality, I would
definitely suggest checking out this very budget-friendly option for your car, as it's
honestly gonna make a world of difference for your driving experience.
So before we get into the thick of the video here, just like I had said previously, I'm
gonna talk about some signs of premature strut failure, and that could be characterized by
excessive nosedive, which is self-explanatory.
When you're getting on the brakes, you're literally gonna feel the body leap up off
the chassis and run forward.
That's not only gonna be bad for you and for performance, but it's actually gonna be making
your front brakes work that much harder and overtime.
And considering that they're usually stopping the car more so than the rear brakes are,
you're gonna be running through pads and rotors that much faster.
So secondly here is gonna be a little bit more of a rocking feeling, and this can be
easily characterized by like when you're hitting a set of train tracks, maybe a pothole cover.
But I notice it personally the most when I'm running a car through the turns.
As it just has a little bit more of a loose and not-so-connected feeling, which, at the
end of the day, it's not gonna make you that much more of a confident driver when you're
running your car either on the track or some backroads.
Now, if your struts are in good order and you're just looking to lower your car as well
as drastically improve the handling dynamics as well as the ride quality, it might be a
good time to look into getting a new set of struts.
As pairing a lowering spring with a factory strut is just not gonna give you the best
overall driving experience.
And let's face facts here if you're gonna be taking the time to either pull your springs
or a strut, it's definitely gonna be a good idea to just do everything at once.
Now, on the flip side here, guys, if your shocks are on their way out, some of these
signs can be characterized by the following.
Now, it's gonna be some excessive rear-end bouncing, squatting, and I don't mean like
the good kind where you're getting off the line at the track.
Not only that, you may actually be seeing premature tire wear, which is gonna be due
to the OE shocks not putting the tires on the ground and making them hit the road that
much more effectively.
Last, but not least, if they're physically leaking oil over the place, it's gonna be
a really great time to have those swapped out as well.
So in terms of the performance here, guys, by swapping your factory components with something
that's gonna be fresh, have a custom valve setup, it's honestly just gonna make your
driving experience that much more enjoyable.
And that can be anything from just hitting the back roads on your way home from work,
Friday night grudge night racing, or even just doing some road course or autocross work.
Now, just to add on hitting some road courses or doing some autocrossing, I gotta mention
that these are not gonna be fully adjustable or adjustable in any way.
Right out of the box, these are gonna have a custom dampening setup.
And that may or may not appeal to you as, if you're gonna be running your car at a road
course or doing some autocrossing, you may wanna have the ability to have that custom-tailored
for whichever kind of surface you're gonna be on.
But for guys like myself, who just simply wanna set it and forget it, I honestly think
it's gonna be a great option, as not only is it gonna be very budget-friendly, but it's
gonna be a turnkey system that's gonna help improve your driving dynamics and ride quality.
So aside from these being pre-set right out of the box, we're gonna see that they are
gonna utilizing a twin-tube gas design as well as coming in steel and then being finished
off in a black powder-coated finish just to ensure that they're gonna hold up over time.
Switching gears to the pricing here, you should expect to be spending only about 240 bucks
for this kit, which, again, is gonna be very budget-friendly as well as aggressively priced.
This is not gonna burn a hole in your wallet in comparison to some of the other setups
out there, which can easily run upwards of 700 to 800 bucks.
Now, for the money here, again, you're gonna be drastically improving your overall ride
quality.
Taking it a step further, if you're gonna pair these with a lowering spring, they're
just gonna work hand-in-hand together to give you a much better driving experience, be it
on the road course, track, or just hitting the back roads.
So taking a look at the installation, just like I had said up top, you're gonna be looking
at a very straightforward one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter and about
a two-hour job.
I do wanna mention that this is gonna be a quick glance at what's needed to get these
onto your car.
If you've never pulled a strut or a shock before, it might be a good idea to rope somebody
in that's done this work, but SR's gonna have you covered with a very detailed set of install
info.
You're only gonna be looking at a solid two hours here, the full set of tools, maybe a
case of beer, and a little bit of patience.
So aside from a socket set, a few wrenches, and a case of beer, just like I had said,
you're definitely gonna need to rent a spring compressor, which can easily be done at most,
if not all, local parts stores.
And aside from that, it might be a decent idea to either use a set of race ramps, maybe
a solid set of jack stands.
Definitely stay away from a widowmaker on this just to be on the safe side.
So to start, you're gonna need to pull your wheels and tires off.
Obviously, this is gonna be including your entire braking system here, which is gonna
be your pads, rotors, and the ABS system.
Then that's gonna be giving you access to the pair of nuts holding this in place as
well as the ones below, which are gonna be attaching this to the spindle.
And one thing that I will mention is that you will need to carry over your existing
dust shield, boots, and stops all the way over, as you'll be utilizing these to install
the rest of the kit.
So moving towards the rear of the car, this is honestly gonna be the easier part of the
installation here.
You're not looking at anything nuts in the slightest.
Obviously, your rear wheels and tires will need to get removed.
After that, get into your trunk, pull back the carpet, locate the nuts right on top,
get outside of the car, get below, swap 'em in with your new SR shocks, and you're good
to go.
It honestly does not get any easier than that.
All right, guys, so just to wrap things up here, some final thoughts, if you're the '94
through '04 Mustang owner.
And you're in the process of replacing your busted and worn-out struts and shocks or if
you're gonna be lowering your car, it might be a decent time to look into getting into
a very budget-friendly kit like what we have here today.
So that's my quick review and breakdown of the SR Performance Shock and Strut Kit, fitting
the '94 through '04 Mustang GT and V6, the '03-'04 Mach 1, and the '94 through '98 Cobra,

"Glacier Girl" | The Real Story of a WW2 P-38 Trapped in Ice for 50 Years | War Thunder - Duration: 5:48.
The Year is 1942.
In the continuing war effort against Nazi Germany, the US was rushing new aircraft to
British airfields.
Our story will focus on one particular brand new P-38F piloted by the 23 year old Lieutenant
Harry L. Smith.
July 15th.
A Squadron of six P-38s and two B-17s was making their way across the north Atlantic
from Maine to Scotland.
Outside Iceland, particularly bad weather conditions forced the squadron to turn back.
The intended backup landing site on Greenland was closed however, and with fuel getting
low, they couldn't make it to another.
This forced them perform an emergency landing on an ice cap.
The slushy summer snow was not an ideal landing surface, and one of the P-38s flipped over
on it's back on touchdown.
The Pilot made it out alive and well, as was confirmed by Smith who circled the crash site
before attempting a landing of his own.
Cutting the fuel, feathering the props and without deploying the landing gear, Smith's
P-38 slid across the snow without taking major damage, but unable to take off again in it's
own power.
Smith threw the keys into the cockpit and joined the rest of his downed squadron.
The two B-17 circled the area for another hour, before too crash landing on the ice.
For nine days, all 25 men took shelter inside the downed B-17s.
They were finally rescued by dogsled on the 24th of July, and made their way to the south-east
coast of Greenland where they were picked up by a Coast Guard vessel.
Yet, the aircraft were left behind, and almost forgotten by all but the crew who flew them.
Fast forward to 1980.
Pat Epps and Richard Taylor heard of the story of the downed squadron and decided that their
next adventure should be the recovery of one of these aircraft from the icy fields of Greenland.
Underestimating the undertaking, they were quoted saying "Our thoughts were that the
tails would be sticking out of the snow," Taylor says with a grin.
"We'd sweep snow off the wings and shovel them out a little bit, crank the planes up,
and fly them home.
Of course, it didn't happen."
In fact, when the team made it to the supposed crash site, there was no trace of the aircraft.
Nothing.
It would take several years, expeditions and advances in sub-surface radar systems to finally
locate the final resting place of the 8 lost aircraft.
Over the years, the constant shifting of the ice had carried the airplanes two miles from
the crash site, and buried them beneath 80 meters of solid ice.
It seemed like an impossible task to ever recover any of them.
And in fact it took several years and millions of dollars to overcome the engineering challenge
and devise a method of tunnelling a 4 foot wide hole through the ice and down to the
location of the buried aircraft.
However, even with the technological challenge overcome, the team continued to suffer set
backs.
During one of the first probings, it was discovered that both the B-17s had been completely crushed
by the immense weight of the ice, which didn't spell a good omen for the recovery of any
of the aircraft.
It wasn't until the 50th anniversary of the original crash landing, and the hopes
that the sturdier airframe of the P-38 would resist the pressure of the ice, that the effort
would finally pay off.
Using a hot water cannon, they dug out the remains of Harry Smith's P-38.
The canopy had been crushed by the ice, and the surface showed signs of the immense weight
put on it over the years, but all the parts where there.
The aircraft was disassembled in the cave and extracted piece by piece, then shipped
to America for restoration.
After 60 years and millions of dollars, "Glacier Girl" as the P-38 was now called, flew once
again on October 2002 and took part in various air shows around the country.
But, what happened to the remaining aircraft?
Sadly, the glacier is drifting towards the sea, and most of the planes are near or in
a crevasse field too dangerous for a salvage mission.
However, Ken McBride and Jim Salazar set out in 2016 to recover at least one more of the
downed P-38s.
The crash site seems to have sunken even further to at least 96 meters when the last radar
hit was carried out in 2011, and has probably sunken even more since.
Due to technical issues the recovery efforts were postponed, and the chances of carrying
out a successful recovery are getting slimmer by the year.
But there is still hope, and we might yet see another P-38 be recovered this year.
And this is the end of our story for now!
Hopefully the expedition team can recover one more aircraft from the icy depths and
restore it to flying conditions.
