When someone commits suicide,
they feel it's the only answer.
It's the only way to deal with the pain that is in their life,

But really all they do is transfer that pain.
If you have someone in your life that committed suicide,
you know that you have their pain on your heart.
And the way that we typically try to deal with that pain
is the blame game.
Blaming others,
"Oh, because their mother was so unloving and didn't hug on them, that's why they committed suicide."
"Because their husband or their wife was so mean, and so nasty.
They're the reason why! That's why it happened."
"Because their kids didn't love them and went away from them.
They despaired. It's the kids' fault!"
Or we blame them.
"They were so selfish and so unloving.
So ungrateful for all I did. They did this to me!"
Does that blame, on anyone else, including the person who committed suicide,
does that ever give peace?
One of the most common places that people
send blame
is self.
"I failed them."
"I should've known."
"I should've picked up on the signs.
I should've read in on things.
I could have saved them. I killed them. It's my fault."
No, it's not.
It's not your fault.

We could say that about every aspect of our lives.
God doesn't want you to live in the "what if."
God wants you to live

a God of grace, a God of mercy.

Asian economies face a range of uncertainties that could affect their global trade -- the
rise of U.S. interest rates, an economic slowdown in China and the spread of protectionism.
But according to the Asian Development Bank's Chief Economist Yasuyuki Sawada, through deeper
regional integration,... crisis can be turned into opportunity.
"In terms of TPP withdrawal by Trump administration and possible policy change in U.S. and Eurozone,
it can be a positive and negative impact on Asian economy because this new policy change
may accelerate other trade arrangements, such as the RCEP and ASEAN.
So I think in Asia, it's important to continue for more open trade and investment policy
position."
Over the past few decades,...
Asian countries have embraced business on a global scale.
They make up forty percent of global production and it lead the world as the fastest growing
region in terms of annual GDP.
Transactions within the region have been a key driver of that boom,... accounting for
almost 60 percent of trade and nearly half the flow of investment.
But Sawada says there's more room for growth.
Asia's financial markets are still regarded as risky and underdeveloped.
And with a high ratio of dollar-denominated bonds,... they are highly vulnerable to risks
of capital outflow as well as currency mismatch.
At the same time, Asian countries are in need of long-term investment -- some 26 trillion
US dollars by the year 2030 for infrastructural projects.
"There are of course developing markets that are very hungry for more infrastructure, more
investment.
Would you say regional integration is the answer?"
"So question is how to attract global liquidity and monetary and make them invest long-term?
I think one way is to develop a local currency financial market infrastructure in Asia so
that people can invest within the region as well as overseas in a credible manner."
In terms of promoting growth and integration across the region,... Sawada says Korea has
been leading by example.
""Korea is one of the very successfully cases where country continued to grow and develop
over decades and poor country joined middle income class and then further proceeded to
high income group.
Korea already concluded 26 free trade areas and
close to 100 bilateral investment treaties.
So Korea is really playing a very important role to keep maintaining and gather momentum
of Asian growth."
Looking ahead,... Sawada says the ADB will support sustainable development in the region
--... reducing the poverty rate, improving education, and tackling climate change -- among
other goals for the year 2030.

Fish Creek Park with my friend Jesse.
We're going to cook up some food over
the fire here and then explore this
section of Fish Creek Park.

I've got my hot dogs all ready to eat. I
think they should be pretty good. I've
never used these buns before. I got them from
the local grocery store near my house. Thought I'd
tried them out, so here we go.
Excellent! Excellent hot dog buns. I believe they
are Villagio Toscana extra soft sausage buns
They're really good
It's pretty good!
We finished eating our hotdogs and now
we're going to cook up some marshmallows
over the fire because like I've said in
many videos before you can't have a fire
without marshmallows.
You can see that
marshmallow there, that is a perfect
marshmallow. I don't like to brag but I
am the king of cooking marshmallows and
this one another crowning achievement
for me: Marshmallow King. Now if you were
out in the wilderness alone and all you
had was a little axe or a knife like
this, I found a little branch like this,
it's not a little branch it's a big branch
we could actually carve this into a
makeshift spear to do some kind of basic
hunting with maybe some kind of small birds
if you can find them. Another handy tip
if you're out in the bush and all you
have is a little knife or something
because you just make the axe like this.
You don't have to waste your knife
doing other things.
That's the finished result of my stick
carving. Okay I'm going to throw this my
makeshift spear right down this little
path here into the trees and see how far I
can throw it that way. So here we
go!
We've started exploring this area of
Fish Creek now that we put our food away.
We made sure that our fire was extinguished
all the way before we started heading
into the forest here. It's always
important to do. Actually we're coming to
Fish Creek right now like the water of Fish
Creek. It should be pretty cool!
All right so as we've been walking
around I found something that would
really help you start a fire if you were
lost in like the mountains or wooded areas
around Calgary or anywhere that's really
wooded. This kind of bark right here you
can see is great for starting fires because
it's usually been dried out by the Sun
you usually take a little bit off of the
trees but right where I am right here
there's tons of bark just laying around
everywhere and it's great to use to get
a fire started.
Ah!
Jesse and I have had a great time out
here today in Fish Creek Park roasting
some hot dogs over the fire and
marshmallows and it's been... I think
Jesse hurt himself back there ...it's also
been great wandering around this forested
area, running in around the little deer
trails and stuff... and Jesse's talking
to himself back there ...it's been great to
come out here and experience this area
I've never been in this specific section
Fish Creek. I can't remember what it's called offhand.
