Hi guys, it's Lucie!
Welcome back to my YouTube channel.
Agh, I have a hair in my mouth.
Welcome back to my YouTube channel.
Thank you for being here.
Today's video has come highly requested.
And I am sorry I have not made this video sooner, but I was really waiting until I cleaned
up first.
In pretty much every video I make I am sitting right in front of the camera and you can see
my living room behind me or my bedroom behind me.
But, a lot of you have been requesting to go on a walking tour of the apartment space.
As many of you might know, I moved out of living with my twin sister and our friend
from college last summer.
So I have lived with my boyfriend for about one year now.
This is our place; we have a one bedroom apartment in Manhattan.
Honestly we do have a lot of space here but I have so many things that I keep bringing
into the apartment; my lights and my tripods and all the camera equipment.
And it's really clogging the place up.
So, I did a bit of a clean-up so that you can see the apartment at its prime.
But know that it gets extremely messy all the time and we do not live like this!
Alright.
Time to go on tour!
I am starting in the hallway outside of my door.
One really fun thing about this apartment is that we have a doorbell.
Coming!
That's fun!
So, once we are inside and the door is behind us, the first thing we have on the right is
the closet.
This is a spare closet we use for all of our jackets, umbrellas…Lots of stuff goes in
here!
This is one of my favorite things in the apartment.
It's a nice metal mirror and it has this gold situation on the bottom where you can
store stuff, and there are hooks on the bottom in case you want to hang up your keys.
This is a very good thing next to the door because we come in, we throw our stuff down,
and we go.
Hey!
I think I'm gonna have to do another video that's just going through my bathroom and
showing you all the beauty products I have and the makeup I use because it's just too
much to include in this video.
But I will show you a few things!
This right here is the charcoal face sponge that I have been using recently to wash my
face.
Each of these mirrors is actually its own cabinet so there's lots of storage back
there.
This is where I keep my makeup.
And this is the shower right here.
It's a bathtub and a shower.
We keep this mat on the floor but it gets very wet!
Leaving the bathroom, I turn the lights off!
Coming this way in the hallway I have some very special paintings.
These are paintings that my mom painted for us.
She loves to pain abstract art with this sort of color scheme: blues and purples and whites.
And she actually told me, which one was it?
She told me that this was supposed to be a forest.
So, she said these were the trees, this was a waterfall, this is maybe more water over
here, and this right here is the sun!
One thing we are really lucky about in this apartment is this extra closet that we have
that kind of dips in like the corner right there.
And split it nice and evenly: Lucie's stuff, Michael's stuff.
So, this is the kitchen space and I love it because it's incredibly open to the rest
of the apartment.
This is the refrigerator where we have some emoji magnets and some pictures of the two
of us.
This is prom, in high school!
I think "what's in my fridge" is also another future video topic, so I'm not gonna open
that right now.
And on top of the fridge we store some Swell water bottles.
Just trying to save the environment!
This cabinet is one of my favorite cabinets in the apartment.
I decorated it like that during "5 Days of Adulting" and we pretty much have left it
intact since then.
The kitchen utensils…
We've got our coffee machine, some spatulas.
Over here we have a little toaster, my blender for the smoothies, a little French press,
and the best thing about this kitchen is...the dishwasher!
And then there's this little island over here and some more cabinetry!
Now we move on to this living room space.
This is my favorite structure in the apartment and we bought it at IKEA!
And it's super easy, you just push and the doors open.
So, we've got our wine glasses and mugs, cups, bowl, plates, more cups.
This is a really handy piece of wood.
And then there are eight drawers underneath it where we store other kitchen items.
I actually use this drawer for my video items; this has like a tripod and a microphone in
it.
Then we're over to the kitchen table.
Another IKEA purchase.
Very simple, white, sleek.
And, oh my gosh, if you liked this piece you are going to love the television piece!
This!
We love it because it's perfect for a big television and it has all of these book shelves.
And something you need to know about Michael is that he is an absolute book freak and he
hoards books!
I'm not gonna complain.
Honestly, it's kind of cool to have books at my disposal; whenever I finish reading
a book I always have a new book right here in the living room.
We also keep a lot of the playbills for a lot of the plays that we see here.
So, we've got some Hamilton playbills, Dear Evan Hansen, more Hamilton, The Humans.
Then we've got some pictures of us up here along with our Derek Jeter pictures for Michael.
This is a fun gift I got for Michael one year for our anniversary.
I thought that we would put pins in all of the places that we had been on our own or
all the places that we wanted to go together.
And then Michael bought all of these photo albums and then printed almost every single
photo in the world of the two of us from our life together, and we are going to put those
in there!
We got these things just to kind of decorate the window ledge.
This is the world's comfiest couch.
And we also have these beautiful new paintings to go above the couch that my mom painted
for us.
Thanks, Mom!
This is a calendar that my family made for me for 2017 with some of the best shots!
Just to orient you quickly in case you are a little bit lost.
Are you understanding the layout?
I hope so.
This is the main space, but we still have the bedroom.
We have a king-sized bed which is really nice.
This is a view you might have seen a couple of times in Try Living with Lucie.
Behind the bed, I have these two soft boxes that I use for my stop-motion videos and I
don't break them down because they take too long to set up.
So, Michael has been the most understanding boyfriend in the entire world and lets me
keep my lights built in our bedroom.
We have these two night tables from IKEA with matching lamps on them.
And this is another structure that I bought from IKEA.
It's basically just a spare closet that stands on its own and it's drilled into the
wall behind it so it doesn't tip forward.
But this is the biggest life-saver in terms of space.
Look at how much stuff I have managed to shove in there!
And then this closet against the wall here was built in when we got here, but Michael
and I did a pretty good job of splitting it 50/50.
So, this side is all Michael's stuff as you can tell from the color scheme and the
clothes.
And this side is all Lucie's stuff!
If anyone has a really good idea of how I can store these shoes please, comment below.
And for those of you who watch my Refinery videos, you'll know that this is the spot
where I sit to shoot my webcams!
And, that's it!
The tour is over.
That is the tour.
Wait, one last thing.
I have these two beautiful paintings that my cameraman Andrew made for me: Try Living
with Lucie and...ducks.
I really feel like I need to make a follow-up video to show you what's in my bathroom,
and what's in my fridge, and what's in my snack cabinet.
Those will come later.
I have a lot more videos up my sleeve.
In the meantime, comment below and let me know if you have any more ideas and what you
want to see me do on this channel.
The world is your oyster and I am here for you!

Lean and Muscular All Year Round - Camera Ready Body - Duration: 9:37.
welcome to the camera-ready body course this was originally developed for models
and actors one of the look camera-ready all year round and I realized that this
was wait for anybody looking for that special occasion especial for a wedding
and you want your photos to look great polished to memories last forever the
problem that I found a lot of these courses in the past that they're more
like crash diets only getting you ready for about three months what I found that
even if you were ready and you look great for your photos you felt miserable
so I needed to find a sustainable way for people to actually do this and to
feel their best not just look their best the problems a lot of fat loss strategy
is that first of all you crash burn you lose a lot of carbs and fat sincere diet
which only leads you not only enough feeling event but well Monali your
levels go down to I believe in the 80/20 principle Baretta's principle which
states that 80% of your results that you get only come from 20% of the things
that you do so many fitness experts and programs focus on meal timing and meal
frequency and supplements and they aren't things that really matter and a
fat loss program so I wanted to emphasize the things that really matter
such as being the work that the set but how can you do that while still
enjoyable for yourself I found the way and it's intermittent fasting to do two
big meals of eating more than things that you enjoy in life so forget that
meal frequency also it focuses on getting stronger in the gym with
progressive overload but lift focused lists that are going to help you not
only put focus and intensity into the gym but also gets you out of the gym as
fast as possible to you don't want to waste your time in there the reason why
this program works is because it focuses on the things that really matter and I
spent years and even in the exercise science degree trying to figure that out
and even though they told me some of the principles Allah
time I was so confused because of all these myths and fitness channels out
there and all these magazines that are just feeding your mind with bullshit so
the problems that I saw are based off of real principles and laws of losing body
fat and the ways to make it enjoyable for you because number one you have to
be able to adhere to this adherent sum number one reason why people either
succeed or fail in a weight-loss journey and I found the most pleasurable easiest
ways to adhere to a weight-loss program available out there right now you guys
obviously I'm going to live in a cave and your job is not to be a fitness
model your whole life so the reason why I developed this course to is because it
gives out strategy stay on your fat loss goals and your weight loss goals while
you go out and enjoy time from friends and family all so unexpected
occasions come up with food and beverages it doesn't get rid of alcohol
and your diet if you don't want to it also just teaches you to mess with
methods to get around it more than just muscle I got here his name is Jean
Francois you want to introduce yourself hi guys yeah I'm Jean Paul so I'm from
Montreal Canada I'm an actor and model and this guy here has been taking care
of my nutrition - the past few years now so we don't have a shoot or something
coming up I have to be a shirtless the guys taking care of it so well actually
still healthier I play hockey two three times a week play basketball a lot and I
used to be tired retired and could barely sleep and when I started to
change my nutrition actually helps me sleep
get some rest more energy and then when I play hockey we have a lot of castings
walk around the city and I'm always stuck shape yeah so we're doing the
camera-ready body workout it's geared toward getting photo shoot ready all
year round and let's see in all that luxury and you just need up week or
three days to prep sometimes your Li give me like
three or four days yeah sometimes I know two days before so it has to be
efficient quick and efficient workout yes so this workout is in the camera
body workout and we're going to go through the whole thing in itself and
you can find him on his Instagram yeah just a lot of quality on this score yeah
anyway so if you don't have an incline dumbbell press or anything where a
machine and you only have machine it's okay to do machines still high reps
first
did that Rivas
now you
just today
let's go Josh
why
the
so don't squeeze practice I thought I put my hat on just a matching little bit
so what do you like about those squeeze presses just burn ha ha good
I feel like this part so I know you really feel when I train really squeeze
with my chest going to pop out so me discovery I'm at they'll be doing this
small Etsy now I personally don't drink the blood you can still turn confusion
get a lot of good stuff which is will taking soy stuff
he'll like dark rum state or through dark rum could be the secret might be a
pipe
ten seconds
you
okay
Oh
good good workout 8 go board the camera ready so what was your favorite part
about that oh man actually I underestimated the cluster
workout and it's actually quite interesting the way it works like you
give everything you get you got and then after like 10 seconds which is not
enough to be enough you go again you go again it really makes a good pump but I
really feel like my whole shoulder the every part of my chest worked not just
like the lower part or sometimes I go to the gym and I do like arms or something
it's only a little part of the whole muscle that I feel and that workout only
like 30 minutes didn't take much time but I'm going to then now I want to get
back to back in shape by miles get out of shape - it's called unemployment
whereas right the next step for you to do is enroll in the course
it'll teach you how to fish instead of having me fish for you let me teach and
instruct you and cook you through this whole process I'll see you in there

Why Serena Joy From The Handmaid's Tale Looks So Familiar - Duration: 5:48.
When The Handmaid's Tale premiered on Hulu, you might have noticed quite a few familiar
faces—including Yvonne Strahovski, who plays Serena Joy.
If you're wondering where you've seen Strahovski before, well you're in luck—we've put together
a list of her most visible roles over the years.
Chuck
For five years, Strahovski played CIA agent Sarah Walker on the NBC action spy comedy
Chuck.
Agent Walker is one of the agents assigned to protect Chuck after he accidentally downloads
secret government information into his brain.
While her primary mission was to keep Chuck safe from the rogue groups trying to capture
him, her cover as Chuck's "girlfriend" eventually became the real deal.
Strahovski's character on Chuck was a fan favorite, and she went on to win both a Teen
Choice Award and two TV Guide Awards for her work.
Mass Effect
Strahovski first lent her voice to the character of Miranda Lawson in the mobile spin-off game
Mass Effect Galaxy, then hit the video game franchise full-time in Mass Effect 2 and the
follow-up, Mass Effect 3.
But she provided more than a voice for the character — Miranda was actually designed
to look like Strahovski.
"They scanned my face into it and then they made me brunette.
And then the body is not mine.
The body is not mine!"
Strahovski was nominated for a Spike Video Game Award for her role as Lawson, and Lawson
has frequently been included in "Hottest Video Game Character" lists.
If that Mass Effect movie project can ever get off the ground, here's hoping Strahovski
will be back.
Killer Elite
After years of acting mostly in TV shows, Yvonne Strahovski landed one of her first
big film roles with 2011's Killer Elite, where she starred as Jason Statham's love interest.
Their attempt to start a romance runs into a few roadblocks along the way, however, and
they both get caught up in a deadly game of cat and mouse with international killers.
Killer Elite wasn't a massive hit with critics, but it showcased Strahovski's acting abilities
and primed her career for even bigger roles to come.
The Guilt Trip
In a twist on the traditional road trip movie, The Guilt Trip chronicles the cross-country
adventure of Joyce and her adult son, Andy, played by Barbra Streisand and Seth Rogen.
Along the way, of course, two discover a lot more about themselves than they planned.
Yvonne Strahovski plays a small but memorable role as one of Andy's old girlfriends who
rescues them when their car breaks down.
While it's a relatively small part, Strahovski definitely helps Streisand turn the awkward
up to 11 during this cringe-inducing scene.
Dexter
Showtime's serial-killer drama Dexter ran for eight seasons, and one of the highlights
of the last two of those seasons was the introduction of Hannah McKay, played by Strahovski, a woman
with secrets just as dark as Dexter's.
McKay's complicated romantic relationship with Dexter evolves until the final episode,
and eventually comes to a head as the two killers attempt to flee the country together.
We're not sure how many real relationships start with attempted murder, but on Dexter,
what else would you expect?
24: Live Another Day
Although Strahovski played a CIA agent in both Chuck and 24, the character of Kate Morgan
couldn't be more different from the light-hearted role of Sarah Walker on Chuck.
In 24: Live Another Day, Morgan is the widow of another CIA agent who committed suicide
after he was accused of treason.
True to the show's style, Kate Morgan is a gritty, serious character who doesn't pull
any punches as she ruthlessly tracks down Jack Bauer and works to uncover his true motives.
Along the way, she learns the shocking truth behind her husband's alleged treason.
I, Frankenstein
This action-fantasy film drops the reanimated monster of Victor Frankenstein into an epic
struggle between good and evil that makes its way to the modern day.
Caught in the middle of this conflict is Yvonne Strahovski's character, Terra, a scientist
conducting experiments on reanimation for Naberius, played by Bill Nighy—not realizing
his true nature as a demon.
Frankenstein's monster must do his best to not only defeat Naberius and foil his plans,
but also save Terra before the demon prince can use her to create an army of undead.
The Astronaut Wives Club
This ABC miniseries aired in 2015 and chronicled the lives of the wives of the "Mercury Seven"—America's
first astronauts.
Set during NASA's most tumultuous period, the show covers everything from the first
manned American flight in space to the first moon landing.
While obviously dramatized for television, it's an intriguing look at women thrust into
the spotlight simply because of who they were married to.
Strahovski co-stars as Rene Carpenter, wife of Scott Carpenter, who flew in the second
orbital mission.
Manhattan Night
In this crime drama from 2016, Strahovski pairs up with Adrien Brody, who plays Porter,
a crime reporter in New York City.
The pair start an illicit romance when Strahovski's character, Caroline, contacts him to uncover
information about her husband's recent mysterious death.
Soon, they find themselves caught up in a mystery bigger than they'd imagined.
Manhattan Night is a stylish modern noir that didn't make any big waves on its release,
but it showed off Strahovski's acting range.
And now that she's co-starring in Hulu's hit series The Handmaid's Tale, there's no telling
where Yvonne Strahovski's career will go next.

Senate Democrats Call Out GOP For Health Care Bill Secretiveness | MSNBC - Duration: 3:11.
>> GOOD TO TALK TO YOU, KRISTEN. LET'S CARRY ON WITH THE HEALTH
CARE CONVERSATION. DEMOCRATS MAKING A FULL-COURT
PRESS.
EARLIER, A GROUP OF DEMOCRATIC SENATORS USED A NEWS CONFERENCE
TO SLAM THIS SECRETIVE GOP PROCESS.
>> PEOPLE HAVE BEEN ASKING ME WHAT'S IN THE SENATE HEALTH CARE
BILL. UNFORTUNATELY, I DON'T KNOW
WHAT'S IN THE BILL. OUR COLLEAGUES WHO ARE WORKING
IN SECRET RIGHT NOW SEEM TO HAVE A DISTURBING LACK OF INTEREST IN
TRANSPARENCY. >> THE SECRECY BEHIND THE BILL
REALLY SHOWS THAT THEY KNOW THEY CAN'T DEFEND IT TO THEIR
CONSTITUENTS. >> IF THE REPUBLICANS WERE PROUD
OF WHAT THEY WERE DOING, THEY WOULD BE TELLING THE WORLD.
>> KASIE HUNT IS LIVE ON CAPITOL HILL.
NICE TO SEE YOU. I UNDERSTAND YOU WERE THERE WHEN
THREE OTHER SENATORS ACTUALLY WENT OVER TO THE CONGRESSIONAL
BUDGET OFFICE. WHAT WERE THEY TRYING TO DO?
>> Reporter: HI, ALI. IT WAS A LITTLE BIT O OF A SHOW,
BUT IT'S DESIGNED TO DRAW ATTENTION TO EXACTLY WHAT YOU
WERE JUST HEARING FROM THOSE OTHER DEMOCRATIC SENATORS WHO
SAY THAT THIS BILL THAT REPUBLICANS ARE PUSHING THROUGH
IS BEING WRITTEN ALMOST ENTIRELY IN SECRET.
THIS IS A HUGE PIECE OF LEGISLATION.
IT AFFECTS, AS YOU POINTED OUT, ONE SIXTH OF THE ECONOMY,
MILLIONS OF AMERICANS HEALTH INSURANCE.
LOOK, I COVERED EVERY MARK-UP AND HEARING OF THE AFFORDABLE
CARE ACT BACK WHEN THEY PUSHED THAT THROUGH CONGRESS, A HEALTH
CARE POLICY REPORTER AT THIS TIME.
THIS PROCESS IS ENTIRELY DIFFERENT AND DEMOCRATS DON'T
KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON. A LOT OF REPUBLICANS IN THE
HALLWAYS SAY THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON.
WHAT WE DO KNOW IS THAT REPUBLICANS HAVE BEEN SENDING
PIECES OF THIS BILL OVER TO THE CONGRESSIONAL BUDGET OFFICE THE
IDEA BEING THAT ONCE THEY HAVE A BILL AND HAVE TO SEND IT OVER
THERE, THEY'LL BE ABLE TO GET A SCORE THAT SAYS HOW MUCH THIS
BILL IS GOING TO COST A LITTLE BIT MORE QUICKLY.
THEY HAVE TO HAVE THAT BEFORE THEY PUT IT ON THE FLOOR AND IF
A VOTE IS GOING TO ACTUALLY HAPPEN NEXT WEEK, THEY'RE GOING
TO NEED THAT. SO THESE DEMOCRATS WENT OVER TO
THE CVO TO SEE IF THEY CAN TRACK DOWN THE PIECES REPUBLICANS WERE
TRACKING. NEEDLESS TO SAY, THEY DIDN'T
FIND IT. >> NEWS FLASH, WE DIDN'T GET THE
BILL. THE CVO HAS AN UNDERSTANDABLE
CONFIDENTIALITY AGREEMENT. WITH A BIT OF HUMOR TO EXPOSE
THE ABSURDITY OF THIS MOMENT IN TIME.
WE DIDN'T GET A BILL HERE, BUT WHAT WE GOT IS A FURTHER
AFFIRMATION THAT THIS IS JUST A REALLY DESTRUCTIVE PROCESS WHEN
IT COMES TO WORKING FOR THE SENATE.
>> Reporter: SO THE NEXT STEP HERE, MITCH McCONNELL, THE
SENATE MAJORITY LEADER TOLD REPORTERS THEY'LL HAVE A
DISCUSSION DRAFT COMING OUT ON THURSDAY.
THAT, OF COURSE, IS WHAT WE EXPECT WILL BE SENT TO THE CVO
AND AIDES ARE SAYING THE VOTE COULD COME SOON AS NEXT WEEK BUT
CAN THEY GET 50 REPUBLICAN VOTES.
THAT'S NOT CLEAR AT ALL. WE'RE TOLD THAT THE REPUBLICAN
SENATOR BEN SASS OF NEBRASKA, HARD NO ON THIS BILL.
AFFORD TO LOSE THREE

Riki Helps Carla Open Up | Season 2 Ep. 3 | AMERICAN GRIT - Duration: 1:10.
[clanging]
[yelling]
Come on, let's go Carla.
You got two minutes.
I'm going to time you right now.
Two minutes.
During team training, Carla thought
that it was a good idea to keep changing her outfits, three
or four times.
She scared the [bleep] out of me.
I know, she scared the [bleep] out of me.
She should have poise, being a beauty queen,
she should be respectful, and she's not showing any of that.
So Ms. Compton means nothing to me.
20 seconds.
Carla does want to change, she does
want to be able to work with somebody else,
and work as a team.
But she needs to be able to open up here first,
and let me help her.
It's not negotiable, urgency.
You know, it's a mindset, it's not a process.
You just got to do it.
Yeah.
I respect Ricky to the utmost.
I'm not going to talk back.
But you know, I want to look cute, too.
