Youtube daily report Jun 22 2017

[KBS Art Hall] Are you all here?

- We're meeting after a week! - It's really been a week!

- Really in a week... - Did you all write your scripts?

[Only sighs] I'm in trouble.

- I thought my fingers and toes would disappear. - I had no times.

Mine is more like a documentary.

As I was writing, it kept getting lost. It's like a nonsensical comedy.

On top of that, I was writing it and it crashed.

- How much did you write? - I did about half.

I first wrote it on a notebook,

but because I have to send by email... You have to type it.

I was typing it and then it crashed.

- I failed. - I used a different computer.

It overlapped with our comeback, so I had no time to write!

So I stayed up for five days...

My voice even now...

I had to go to Japan, so I rushed it.

I couldn't think of what I write, so I danced to all of your songs.

- Really? - Wow, I'm looking forward to it.

It's not something to look forward to.

[Pants she wears often]

What about D.ana?

It was really hard for me to brainstorm at first.

But it started to flow when I started writing!

I thought it was weird, and then I realized I kept saying the same thing.

[The script of Mobius]

- Right. - Conversations start to dwindle. [Mental Breakdown]

I think it's really hard.

Because you have to write it...

You have to write down everything they're thinking or acting on...

- It's really hard. - Yeah.

[The continuous struggle to write even during busy schedules]

[The Idol Drama Operation Team's scripts are complete after four week of effort!]

I really don't think I can read this!

- You really did well. - This is good.

- I didn't... - I didn't do it like this!

- I'm really curious about YooA's - No!

Me too! [Curious Curious]

What did she do to Seulgi?

For my character, it's mostly Seulgi. [Reading YooA's script]

- "Our cutie, where's your mind at?" - Somi, please, stop!

- I'm going home! - You didn't go yet?

[Youngest on top!]

[Embarrassed] You did well!

This is called "JeonYeon." It's not a curse word!

- "JeonYeon?" - It stands for "The Legendary Trainee."

He's kind of a mysterious man.

But to call him that.... [YooA is 4-D the more you get to know her]

It's "The Legendary Trainee," but I haven't chosen the male lead.

I actually wrote it thinking about Yang Sehyung.

Because women like him these days.

Should we try it? [Start acting with YooA's script]

- Then I'll be your legendary trainee. - My face is already turning red!

[Overflowing with drive]

[#3 - Scene where the Legendary Trainee appears] Seulgi starts to count.

Untied shoelaces on the worn out shoes. [The trainee and Seulgi meet during practice]

She doesn't like how she looks in the mirror

and stares into the mirror with an upset face.

Just then! From the back, the legendary trainee with the homme fatale charms enters.

- Our cutie, where's your mind at? - Scared me!

You didn't go yet?

[Cheesy]

[#Life Crisis #Tough Job]

What girl out of her mind practices without tying her laces?

Do you want to hurt your ankles before even debuting?

I think I've heard this before. [Getting into it]

Please continue.

When did it get untied? [Doing everything as told]

Hey, someone must be thinking about you right now.

[Shock] That's in there?

Stupid.

[Dying]

You look pretty when smiling,

so smile bright when you do music that you love.

Thank you.

[Get ready to kick your blankets tonight]

[YooA is satisfied] Alright. That was great.

- Are you happy? - Yes.

D.ana also wrote it well!

D.ana really wrote it well.

- Should we do it? - Then, D.ana, please read this.

[Sohee is confident?]

I was the main lead for two web dramas.

So when the bell rings, move more quickly!

It feels like you're putting too much emphasis on the accent.

You're giving emphasis on each word. [Getting everything pointed out to her]

[Then how about now?]

As soon as the four from the same school arrive,

they weigh themselves after saying hello.

- Hello. - Hello.

Hello.

[I have to do well] Until Scene Two.

How much longer do we have to be like this?

I heard we're going straight to debut preparation.

I never thought we'd be wasting time like this.

They only talk about dieting and practice...

I'm so tired of it now.

But...

- What was that just now? - No!

[So funny!]

[Acting is too hard]

[Too cute]

[Continuing] I bought makeup on the subway.

I heard if you put this on, your skin will become white jade!

I put it on once. Doesn't my skin look nice?

- Be quiet. You're tiring me out. - No, you're tiring me out even more.

[Is she saying that to me?]

As I wrote the script, I had an idea in mind.

Like using a dialect to make myself seem countrified?

She's kind of countrified and very naive without knowing anything.

We're already at Somi's.

I don't have a script, but I wrote each episode.

This is so funny! [Quick Sohee discovers something]

"She screams in anger." "Her voice gets hoarse as she starts to rap."

[Dying of laughter]

[A new era of script writing] I never imagined anything like this.

[All hail Somi]

Su-Jeong and myself included... We're kind of lacking people.

"Sohee is a girl of excuses with very little focus."

Am I like a little rascal or what?

It says D.ana is crazy.

Moon Byul suffers from anger management.

[Somi is fair to everyone]

I'm going to look at Seulgi's.

Mine is really depressing.

The staff have the most lines.

[Staff: Coordinators, managers, stylists, etc]

"You think you can debut if you do it like this?" And then they get mad.

"Think about what it is that you really want when you go home."

- That seems so real. - And then they send them home.

I guess regardless of where you are, the staff always copy and paste this line.

There must be a school for this.

You have to say this in order to become staff.

- This is cute. - I think you can see each other's personalities in here.

There's a lot of fun things and sincere things to work with.

What if we keep getting ranked number one on TV cast?

- Do we get anything if we're number one? - We get rights to this.

- Copyrights. - That's...

[A special lecture for our novice writers]

There are a lot of issues that can occur due to copyright as you write a drama.

So that you don't make mistakes, we've invited a professional.

- Hello! - Hello!

Please take good care of us.

I'm Han Ho, working at Korea Copyright Commission.

- Nice to meet you. - Welcome!

We are Seven Princesses... 2, 3! Don't hesitate!

- Nice to meet you. - Is there anything you're curious about?

When we write dramas, what are some basic things we should be aware of?

First, if you are writing someone else's words, you need permission to do that beforehand.

If you use it without, there would be a violation of a copyright.

Is there a time period when you can receive that right?

If you're asking about the time period of copyright protection...

It's not 70 years after something is written, but until 70 years after the creator dies.

So we're doing something very incredible right now.

Do you have to register to something else?

You're going to have to prove that you created something.

So when a conflict occurs, to prove that you have the copyright...

To fight against the literary pirate,

I manage something called the copyright registration management.

If you register something, you have proof as the copyright holder.

So in the case of a conflict, it's good to register it early on.

I see!

Do you think the way we look...

Do you think we could be successful writers?

All of the sudden...

- No, since he's done this for awhile! - Suddenly asking about how we look...

Yes...um, I think you'll do well.

Who do you think will do the best?

[Walking on eggshells]

Hello. This is what I wear at home.

This is my drawing diary. Some of you might already know.

[Messy] I can recall this day.

You might know as well.

This day was so hot because of the sun. I felt like I was melting.

It was so hot.

I had a dance lesson. If you look here... Can you see? I felt nauseous.

I wasn't feeling well because of many things.

It was a hard day.

If you look here.

If you look here, it says 5:30 salon.

I wrote down some sad songs and wrote that I was tired.

[Were you struggling, Somi~] Oh no.

Oh~ I found something happy.

Looking here, it says Fan Meetup.

I saw my family at the fan meeting, so I was really happy.

I think I was really happy. I wrote down "family."

Here's a family tree. I felt loved.

[Recalls memories] This was fun, too.

I was struggling at the time, and I met my family.

If you look here, "hahaha." Can't you tell how I excited I am?

I couldn't tell how fast time was passing by.

Time is fast. Love.

Family?

[Idea! Finally discovers a topic: family]

That's good. Okay.

[While writing] When I write in my diary,

I tend to write my ambitions. [Reminiscing]

Oh~ There's this, too.

A needed mindset. Even if I have to practice, and I can't rest or see my family right now,

these experiences will eventually become very valuable.

Make sure to love those who are nearby so they don't forget.

That's also sad.

I really miss my family.

My warm mom. My dad, who's always on my side.

My sister, who says I'm the cutest in the world. I miss you all.

I really want to see you.

I also want to go home. At home,...

[Chokes up] Okay.

[Getting sentimental, thinking about those days]

This was a day I really wanted to go home.

[Endured lonely days at a young age...] When can I be with my family at home?

After five years? Or after seven years?

I guess I hadn't met my parents in a long time.

I saw my parents, and they aged a lot.

To me, my dad stopped aging at 37, and my mom at 34.

Time flies so fast.

My dad wears glasses when he eats now.

I held my mom's hand, which had wrinkles. My dad's eyes had more wrinkles.

I guess it's greedy for me to ask for for time to stand still.

Mom, dad. I'll hurry up and succeed so that I can be good to you. Please wait. I love you.

That's what I wrote.

[Went through many difficulties] [at a young age...]

[Overcame them by thinking of her family]

Since my sister can't see me often, she wrote me a birthday card

in a book like this. [Homemade book]

This is my sister.

[Both are so pretty] My sister, me.

She glued on pictures of my family. Just in case I miss them.

I guess she wants me to wear this.

[Photoshopped(?) by hand~] She personally did this...

One of the reasons I was able to [Always supported me]

endure the hard times [The reason I was able to get this far]

was because of my supportive sister. [was because of my loving family]

I will get started with my portion, which is part one.

[Concentrating]

[Moon-crush, the pose of a writer]

I had to write quickly because

my deadline is coming up.

[Busy over here~ Busy]

- I wrote this much. Including the top. - You wrote well.

- It's well organized, right? - You organized well!

You write well.

There's so much.

This is why writers are always wearing comfortable clothes.

[Sigh...]

I don't think I'm cut out to be a writer.

[Definitely the center] [Somi is sincerely working hard]

Oh no!

This is bad.

[No...Way...?]

Oh no.

I wrote it all, but it didn't save.

My parents felt bad for me,

so they started helping me.

I'm faster than someone who types 64 words per minute.

I was frustrated so I told her to come out. [Finishing up, thanks to her mom]

So my mom~ [Pretty like her daughter]

Self edit.

I'm finally done, so I'm going to send the finished script.

[Great job, Somi~]

[Nervous~ Finally sending the script!]

I sent it.

[The process of writing the first episode is done!] It's all done.

Everyone! You can get copyright protection even 70 years after death,

so let your descendants know. Come over here~

Is there something we can practice right now?

Should we try it?

Stupid. What were you distracted by?

Oh my.

Seulgi. Do you know what my dream is?

I'm not sure. Debuting?

Start.

You're my dream.

What is youth...

The reason I'm getting red is...

Gordon Ramsay Hunts For Lionfish To Cook | Season 1 Ep. 4 | THE F WORD - Duration: 3:26.

[music playing]

GORDON RAMSAY (VOICEOVER): This is

Florida, a state known for as hot sun and amazing seafood.

But in these crystal blue waters, an unwelcome predator,

the lion fish, threatens the very ecosystem that

makes this place so incredible.

I'm going to meet Eric and Grace who are a husband

and wife team, and they dedicate their life

hunting down this fish.

GORDON RAMSAY (VOICEOVER): Dumped into the waters

by careless aquarium owners, these predators

belong in the Indian Ocean, not in the Florida Keys.

This lion fish is a pest.

GORDON RAMSAY (VOICEOVER): We speed

off the coast of Islamorada in hopes of taking some of them

out.

Then I'll show Eric and Grace how to cook

them into a delicious meal.

Here is our target.

So you can see these dorsal spikes.

It's almost like a hypodermic needle.

- Bloody hell. - And this--

Oh, you can see.

That holds the venom.

You can see it.

And how dangerous is this sort of venom?

What does it feel like?

Yeah, what does it feel like?

I, unfortunately, have been hit many times.

- You serious? - You know, big, bald--

It's awful.

--tattoo, muscle guy was crying like a little baby.

It was bad. - Gee.

But we're not going to get stung today.

- No. - No.

Not today. - Wow.

GORDON RAMSAY (VOICEOVER): I've been

diving for more than 20 years, but never

with a mission like this.

80 feet to the ocean floor, and the hunt begins.

To really make a difference in this fight,

we need to find the biggest fish, the ones that

do the most damage to the reef.

Eric spots some movement amongst the rocks.

[music playing]

His instincts have paid off.

We're able to find several big ones, and we take them out.

This small part of the reef is safe for the moment.

It's time to ascend.

That was incredible.

Woo!

Look at the size of that one.

Oh, my god.

Look at the size on this.

[music playing]

A beast.

Wow.

GORDON RAMSAY (VOICEOVER): I'm thrilled

about the size of my catch.

I'm no stranger to diving, but I've never felt such a rush.

Look at that.

[bleep] that's ugly, huh?

[music playing]

GORDON RAMSAY (VOICEOVER): We've done a small part to help

save this incredible ecosystem.

Now it's time to turn these harmful creatures

into a delicious meal.

Caribbean fish curry is on the menu.

[music playing]

First, marinate with turmeric and olive oil.

So I suppose sort of a light, fragrant curry.

GORDON RAMSAY (VOICEOVER): Hit the curry with some ginger,

garlic, and pepper.

Ooh, yum.

GORDON RAMSAY (VOICEOVER): Coconut milk

to bring the curry to life.

Fish on the grill skin side down.

[sizzling]

That is glistening beautifully.

GORDON RAMSAY (VOICEOVER): Minutes later lunch is served.

Nice.

Beautiful.

Grace, who'd like some lion fish?

All of us.

Alrighty, guys.

[music playing]

Literally speared, filleted, cooked.

Right to your plate.

[music playing]

Mm.

The big shock, from a chef's point of view,

is that something being so poisonous that

decimates the coral reef could be so tasty.

Right.

No excuses now.

Next time you cook that--

Man, the bar is high now.

--elevate it.

How A Different Type of "Leaning In" Helped Sheryl Sandberg Cope With Grief | SuperSoul Sunday | OWN - Duration: 1:30.

OPRAH: Last year you spoke publicly for the

first time since Dave's death during your

commencement address at U.C. Berkeley.

And I think these were the lines that caused

that speech to go viral. You said,

"Dave's death changed me in very profound ways.

I learned about the depths of sadness, and the

brutality of loss," which that word struck me.

The brutality of loss. "But I also learned that

when life sucks you under, you can kick against

the bottom, break the surface, and breathe again."

So how are you learning to breathe again?

SHERYL: I'm learning to let the grief come when

it comes. It was very good advice.

My Rabbi told me to lean into the suck.

OPRAH: Lean into the suck.

SHERYL: Not what I meant when I said lean in.

OPRAH: Even Miss Lean In. Miss Lean into our times.

Lean into the suck.

SHERYL: Which was actually really good advice.

Because I think for me, and a lot of people, when

we get upset, we're kind of upset we're upset.

I get sad, and then I'm sad I'm sad.

OPRAH: Yeah. That's called something.

That's called —

SHERYL: I call it second derivative.

OPRAH: Yeah, second derivative.

SHERYL: I get angry, and then I'm angry I'm angry.

I get nervous, and then I'm nervous I'm nervous.

And it just piles on. And when he just told me,

lean into the suck, this is going to suck, it really

helped me be, like, settle into the feelings,

and then they kind of -- they were more gentle

or they passed more quickly.

Mattis, Tillerson Seem To Contradict Trump On China - Full News Conference - Duration: 14:00.

- Well, good afternoon, all.

I do want to thank Secretary Mattis,

State Councilor Yang Jiechi,

and PLA Chief of Joint Staff Fang Fenghui

for a day of very productive meetings.

Secretary Mattis and I were quite

pleased to host the first session

of the Diplomatic Security Dialogue since we agreed

on this format at the Presidential summit at Mar-a-Lago.

This is one of four distinct dialogue areas

that will implement our President's vision

for constructive, results-oriented bilateral relations.

We're sustaining these regular talks at a much higher level

than in previous years and among principals

in both the civilian and the military agencies.

President Trump, I know, looks forward

to his state visit to China later this year.

As we've said before, U.S. and China have undergone,

relations have undergone a profound

transformation over the past 40 years.

These dialogues provide an opportunity to consider

how we're going to engage and how we're going

to live with one another over the next 40 years.

In furthering this relationship,

we need to work to expand areas of cooperation,

as we did today, on issues where we

have shared security interest.

But we also need to address, directly and very frankly,

areas where we face threats or areas

where we have differences so that we can narrow

these differences and solve the problems.

The most acute threat in the region

today is posed by the DPRK.

We both call for complete, verifiable,

and irreversible denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.

And we call on the DPRK to halt

its illegal nuclear weapons program

and its ballistic missile test

as stipulated in the UN Security Council resolutions.

We reaffirmed our commitment to implement in full

all relevant UN Security Council resolutions.

For example, we both agreed that our companies should not

do business with any UN-designated North Korean entities

in accordance with these resolutions.

China understands that the United States

regards North Korea as our top security threat.

We reiterated to China that they have

a diplomatic responsibility to exert much greater economic

and diplomatic pressure on the regime

if they want to prevent further escalation in the region.

Whether it is money laundering,

extorting Korean expatriates, or malicious cyber activity,

North Korea has engaged in a number of criminal enterprises

that help fund its weapons programs.

We must step up our efforts to help

to curtail these sources of revenue.

Countries around the world and in the UN Security Council

are joining in this effort and we hope

China will do their part as well.

The United States remains committed to building North,

is committed to holding North Korea accountable

for multiple violations of UN Security Council resolutions

which expressly prohibit its nuclear weapons

and ballistic missile programs.

We regret that it is the North Korean people

who suffer when the regime diverts

resources to these prohibited programs, and we urge

the DPRK regime to choose a better path for its people.

We also had a frank exchange

of views on the South China Sea.

Secretary Mattis and I were clear

that the U.S. position remains unchanged.

We oppose changes to the status quo of the past

through the militarization of outposts

in the South China Sea and excessive maritime claims

unsupported by international law,

and we uphold the freedom of navigation and overflight.

With that said, China has committed

to resolve their disputes peacefully and in accordance

with recognized principles of international law,

including the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea.

During the dialogue, we also decided

to adopt greater coordination to face

the global threat posed by terrorism.

We will be looking to China to help the Iraqi Government

in specific meaningful ways to ensure the country's

long-term stability and economic growth as it battles ISIS

and begins its long process of rebuilding.

An important part of our discussion about the next 40 years

was increasing mutual trust and working

toward a long-term risk reduction effort

between our two militaries and our government.

Building on what we've done in the air and maritime spaces,

U.S. and Chinese civilian and military teams

start discussions in new areas

of strategic concern like space, cyberspace,

nuclear forces, and nonproliferation issues.

We need to enhance stability and develop

strong international standards in these areas,

and we need China to play a major role.

Lastly, we discussed how this administration will stand up

for American and universal values like human rights.

We will not be shy about raising our concerns

about China's human rights record,

and I was direct and candid in our meetings today.

Talk is not enough when it comes to increasing cooperation

and narrowing differences between our two sides.

The action items we have agreed upon today

have set a foundation for additional areas of cooperation

and we look forward to our next interaction

at this level and between our two presidents.

And I'll turn it to Secretary Mattis.

- Well, thank you, Secretary Tillerson.

Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen.

A few words to add to Secretary Tillerson's report,

to give you something from the defense perspective.

This has been a unique opportunity for our nations

to engage in philosophical-level discussions

about how we discuss these issues and to discuss

the way ahead, together hosting our counterparts,

State Councilor Yang and General Fang.

In this first round of dialogues

agreed to by our presidents at the summit at Mar-a-Lago,

we gained a glimpse of a mutually

beneficial future that we can create.

As Secretary Tillerson mentioned,

the United State seeks a constructive

and a results-oriented relationship with China.

Events like the Diplomatic and Security Dialogue

we just completed represent our effort

to elevate and focus our bilateral discussions.

I'm committed to improving the U.S.-China

defense relationship so that it remains

a stabilizing element in our overall relationship.

Our two nations can and do cooperate

in mutually beneficial ways.

We prioritize mechanisms that contribute

to greater risk reduction between our armed forces,

that open and maintain effective channels

of communication between us, and that expand

areas of cooperation where we can.

At the same time, we do manage

our differences where we have them,

and while competition between our nations

is bound to occur, conflict is not inevitable.

This afternoon, we affirmed North Korea's

nuclear missile program is a threat

to peace and security in the Asia Pacific region.

We also affirmed our strong commitment to cooperate,

including through the UN, to realize our shared goal

of denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.

Meanwhile, we will continue to take necessary measures

to defend ourselves and our allies.

We also discussed the importance of freedom

of navigation elsewhere in the region,

and the peaceful resolution of those disputes

in the maritime space, and we discussed ways

to decrease tension and reduce risk in the South China Sea.

As we maintain open dialogue on this topic,

the United States will continue to fly, sail,

and operate wherever international law allows.

And third, the United States and China agreed to explore

new areas of mil-to-mil cooperation,

including exchange of officers to improve transparency

and mutual understanding, and to discuss strategic issues

that Secretary Tillerson mentioned.

We welcome the opportunity to engage

with the Chinese counterparts on strategic topics

to discuss our differences, and will now

press forward where we can work together.

Thank you.

- [Heather] We have two questions today.

First, we'll start out with Nike Ching

from Voice of America, Nike.

- [Nike] Thank you very much, Mr. Secretary Tillerson.

After your last visit to China in March,

a Vietnamese-American from Houston,

Sandy Phan-Gillis was released.

Now today, after your discussion

with Chinese State Councilor Yang Jiechi,

should we expect good news to come soon on the release

of the three more Americans detained in North Korea?

Separately, on Qatar, in a statement on Qatar

issued by the State Department yesterday,

the administration seems to have acknowledged

that it's being played by the Saudis over the Qatar crisis.

Isn't that embarrassing?

Thank you.

- With respect to the three additional American citizens

that have been illegally detained,

unlawfully detained by the regime in North Korea,

our efforts continue towards their release.

I have nothing to report further on that at this time.

With respect to the situation in the Middle East

between Qatar and the four countries

who have issues with Qatar, our role has been

to encourage the parties to get their issues on the table,

clearly articulated, so that those issues can be addressed

and some resolution process can get underway

to bring this to a conclusion.

Our desire is for unity within the Gulf,

and unity within the GCC, and that we redirect

all of our efforts on the war against terror,

the war to defeat ISIS and Daesh in the region.

- [Heather] Barbara Plett from BBC.

- [Barbara] Thank you.

Secretary Mattis, the President seemed to signal yesterday

that he was extremely angry and frustrated with North Korea,

and that China had failed in its attempt to help on that.

Despite these continued efforts at cooperation,

is the administration beginning to think

that China will not be able to rein North Korea in,

and is there any consideration of new, direct action?

In particular, has the military posture changed in any way?

And if I may, a question on the South China Sea.

Control of the South China Sea is

a fundamental part of China's strategic policy.

Freedom of navigation efforts notwithstanding,

how far is the U.S. willing to go to prevent militarization?

Thank you.

- In regards to the President's view of North Korea,

I believe he represents the American people's

view of North Korea right now.

We see a young man go over there,

healthy, and with a minor act of

mischief, come home dead, basically,

die immediately after he gets here.

There's no way that we can look at a situation like this

with any kind of understanding.

This goes beyond any kind of understanding

of law and order, of humanity,

of responsibility towards any human being.

So what you're seeing, I think,

is the American people's frustration with a regime

that provokes, and provokes, and provokes,

and basically plays outside the rules,

plays fast and loose with the truth, that sort of thing.

As far as China's role,

China continues to work these issues.

The reason for this dialogue that we had today

was to have an open and frank dialogue

about what more can be done in areas of common interest.

I would point out to you that China's end state

on the Korean Peninsula in terms

of nuclear weapons is the same as ours,

and we continue to work towards that end state.

On South China Sea, this is a dialogue

where we identify areas where we can work together

and to understand those areas where we have,

I would call them disconnects, where our understanding

of the problem is very different from theirs.

And we had that discussion here today,

and we'll continue to work to close gaps

in our understanding and to work some kind of manner

in the future that removes these irritants.

But I would say for right now that's the whole purpose

for the dialogue that we held here today,

and we will be holding more in the future.

- [Heather] Thank you, everyone.

- [Rex] Thank you.

Peanut Butter Apple Wheels~Kid Friendly~Summer Snack Idea~Tasty Snack Recipe~Noreen's Kitchen - Duration: 5:53.

Hi, everyone

I'm Noreen and welcome back to my kitchen today for another installment of our kid-friendly summer snack series and next up is going to be

Peanut butter and Apple wheels with your choice of toppings today

We put some Muesli and some chocolate chips

And I think this is going to be a really fun way to get your kids to eat their fruit and love it, too

So let's go see how these all come together

Okay this week for our kid-friendly summer snack

We're going to make apple wheels with peanut butter and granola

and we've got a little bit of chocolate chip going on and

You can feel free to switch out peanut butter for almond butter or whatever nut butter you choose

Sunflower butter cashew butter, whatever what I have here is a pink lady apple

Okay, so get the apple of your choice

And you're going to cut off the top and the bottom

And this is also a great way to use up apples that are going a little south

You know I'm saying so you're going to cut this in about

half inch

slices

I'm probably going to get about 4 per apple, and that's what I'm going to do here

I'm just going to kind of eyeball it now

you want to make sure you cut the core part out even though it's super pretty but

You can do that with a knife or what I'm going to do it with is a piping tip

from

My cake decorating and you can just pop that right out

Get all the seeds out of there and just sit the apples however is easiest

And I'm going to grab a little spreading knife, and I have some natural peanut butter

And this is super easy not an original idea, but it's just another idea to give you guys

you know some

fuel for that

Mom, I'm hungry fire. You know

Maybe you have apples on hand. Maybe you have peanut butter on hand most moms do

and

This is just another way to get your kids to eat a healthy snack now. I have some this is Muesli and

It's got almonds and raisins and dates chopped up in there and oats and all sorts of goodness

So what I'm going to do on this one

But you can top this with just plain raisins dried cherries dried Cranberries

Whatever your kids like if you have if they have a favorite like healthy cereal then use that instead on

This one. I'm going to go a

little indulgent

And we'll put some chocolate chips on here

This can be a fun afternoon treat for your kids like between lunch and dinner

And it satisfies that little sweet tooth that they're looking for

You can also put some shredded coconut on here, and it's just going to be fun

So I'm going to go set this up for you

And I will come back and I'll show you what it all looks like and how pretty it is

And there you have it delicious apple wheels with peanut butter

Muesli and chocolate chips like I said your toppings

Can just suit your tastes what your kids love this Muesli has oats and sunflower seeds

Raisins and sliced almonds you can add whatever you want

Toasted coconut there favorite cereal on top whatever. It's going to be great

We also love the chocolate chips you could use white chocolate chips you could use toffee bits Rick said that while we were cleaning up

A little the toffee bits would be really good

And they would you're not using a ton and it's just going to make them happy like I said

I think this is a great option for a between lunch and dinner snack

you know how your kids get like round about 4 o'clock or

3:30 they want something yummy, but you don't want them to spoil their appetite for supper depending on what time you eat?

This is really a great option because here you literally have 4 snacks out of one apple

You can also do the option of cutting the apple in half scooping out the core

Cutting a sliver off the bottom so it doesn't rock around and then topping your apple any way you like I?

also mentioned that you can choose almond butter cashew butter any other nut butter that you like if you

Don't do peanut butter of course the options are all up to you this would even be great topped with a little greek yogurt

or cream cheese

So you do you you make what makes your kids happy and everybody is going to be satisfied and just ready for their snack

So I hope that this gives you another idea

Historical: This is what Canada means to me. I chose to do historical because a lot of

interesting events happened, like the war of 1812. A lot of people in Canada are

interesting. Some of the events actually changed Canada into a peaceful country.

This all happened because of history. People like Alexander Graham Bell and

Thomas Edison evolved our communication with each other. We would not be learning

math, we would be learning how to use muskets. Nothing would have been the same

if there was no history in Canada. So I'm happy that there's history.

Thoughts on Nintendo's E3 2017 - Duration: 4:05.

Hello and welcome to my thoughts on Nintendo at E3 2017.

Short story: they did good.

Long story: they did gooooooood.

I'm a Nintendo fanboy so a lot of these things are more appealing to me than your

average gamer but Nintendo really showed up with some great announcements this E3.

First up Kirby.

Now I've never owned a Kirby game before but I've always wanted to try it out and

with 4 player co-op, combining abilities and beautiful graphics I think I'll have to

get this one.

Yoshi is also getting a new game in a similar vein to Woolly World but this time in a carboard

world where you can flip the entire stage to see it from a new perspective.

I enjoyed Woolly World a decent amount and 2-player co-op is always welcomed so I might

pick up this game.

Then there was the "news" of Breath of the Wild's DLC, which didn't really tell

us anything new but gave us a release date on the first major pack, which is coming June

30th.

The Trial of the Sword looks really fun, much better than the generic waves of enemies I

was expecting it to be and the costumes also look great.

The amiibo though, they all look really good except for my fish waifu, like man did they fuck

up Mipha's face real bad.

Hopefully they'll improve it by release because "Mipha's face is [definitely not] ready"

Xenoblade 2 and Fire Emblem Warriors were also there which is great for fans of those

games but I'm not too excited for them.

Hyrule Warriors was enough warriors for a lifetime I think.

Rocket League also coming to the Switch which is a neat addition and Mario + Rabbids, oh

boy.

This one really surprised me.

When the leaks first came out I was sceptical and preparing for the worst but now that they've

shown it to basically be a bright, colourful version of Xcom I'm definitely onboard with

this game.

And then, the big announcements.

A core Pokémon game on the Switch and a new Metroid Prime game.

Wow, even without any footage these two were easily the biggest announcements of the presentation.

Just imagine playing HD Pokemon on a tv, it's going to be glorious.

And Metroid Prime 4, so many people wanted this and I'm just happy they got it.

Personally, I've never played the first 3 but I'm definitely interested in trying

it out.

And saving the best till last the Super Mario Odyssey trailer was mind-blowingly good.

At the start I'm pretty sure they tricked everyone, first I was like Monster Hunter?

No that's a real dinosaur, is it that strange DS game?

Wait it's Mario?

What the.

And then the music, ah the music is so damn catchy.

And of course all the crazy things Mario can take over get me so excited for this game,

I can't wait to play it.

But just as we thought it was all over the Treehouse reveals two more games.

Metroid: Samus Returns for 3DS, a remake of Metroid 2 coming in a couple of months that

looks totally badass.

I was playing Fusion the other day and a melee attack was something I desperately wanted

to have and here we are.

The map on the bottom screen will help in making the gameplay more fluid and it's

just exciting to see Samus Return, literally.

Then there's Mario and Luigi Super Star Saga, another remake with some added Bowser's

minions stuff.

Never played the original so definitely going to check this out.

Looks charming.

And that's basically it.

Nintendo's E3 was pretty good in my opinion and there were a lot of games

to get excited for both in the near and distant future.

I just might have to get myself a Switch now.

Ah well it was going to happen eventually, I just love Nintendo too much to resist buying

their consoles for long.

But anyway, comment on your own thoughts on Nintendo at E3 as well as what you'd like

to see from them in the future.

Thanks for watching and have a great day, bubye.

Hot n New Suspension Series Ep. 10: Jeep 2.5" Rough Country Leveling Kit - Duration: 2:02.

- Is this fan, like, making a bunch of wind noise?

Yeah?

(cool music)

Are you ready?

- [Man] Yeah

- Hey guys, Brad here with--

(buzzing saw)

There's a lot of stuff going on.

Hey guys, Brad with Custom Offsets.

This is gonna be another episode of Hot New Suspension.

This one's gonna be for the Jeep guys out there.

This particular kit's gonna be the Rough Country

two and a half inch coil spring kit,

and this is gonna be for JK Wranglers,

so '07 to present Wranglers,

two and half inch coil kit.

This is the whole kit right here.

Not much to it.

Simply, you're gonna be replacing

the rear coil springs and the front coil springs

with these Rough Country replacements.

This kit's gonna have the upgraded performance

2.2 shocks, which are here.

Fronts.

These are gonna be the fronts.

These are gonna be the rears.

And then some brake line relocation brackets

to move the brake lines down,

so they're long enough.

And then just a little shock hard--

This is all shock hardware,

and this is gonna be for the brake lines.

And you simply just pull the old coil springs out

and replace them with these.

It's a pretty simple kit.

That's pretty much it,

and that's for two and a half inches of lift.

Like I said, this is the Rough Country

JK two and a half inch coil spring kit

for '07 to present Jeep Wrangler JKs.

That is all.

Continue with your day.

Krewella - Calm Down // Lyrics Video

Got all my keys don't you follow me, call on me

Ain't mood for no drama

Outta my face, didn't you read my policy

I do what I wanna

You ain't my parent but think got the formula

So stay in your corner

Last thing I need is my head underwater

Even though I want ya

Wanna feel the good, wanna feel the bad, feel it all

Got a human heart, I'ma let that fly and fall

When I feel insane and I rap that pain No doubt

I'ma spell it out

Don't tell me to calm down

I'm about tear this fuckin' place down

Kinda like the way I let it go

Don't tell me to calm down

I'm about to tear this fuckin' place down

No, I ain't afraid to let it go

Don't tell me to calm down

Don't tell me to calm down

Don't hit me up like you want an apology

I'm too busy riding

Sipping down vodka 'cause you ain't my cup of tea

I put you on silent

Say one more thing and I'll take it from zero to sixty

That's good to be honesty, honestly

If you get none of it

Get off my fuckin' back

Wanna feel the good

Wanna feel the bad, feel it all

Got a human heart

I'ma let that fly and fall

When I feel insane

And I rap that pain

No doubt

I'ma spell it out

Don't tell me to calm down

I'm about tear this fuckin' place down

Kinda like the way I let it go

Don't tell me to calm down

I'm about to tear this fuckin' place down

No, I ain't afraid to let it go

Don't tell me to calm down

Don't tell me to calm down

Down, down, d-d-down, down

When the red line blows

I just can't lay low

Down, down, d-d-down, down

When the red line blows

I just can't lay low

Don't tell me to calm down

I'm about tear this fuckin' place down

Kinda like the way I let it go

Femme de Chem Interview with Steve Frank about the DeafBlind Jewish Shabbaton - Duration: 16:43.

Hello!

My name is Kit, and welcome to Femme de Chem.

I'm here now at the DeafBlind Shabbaton event in Baltimore, and I'm interviewing Steve Frank.

The reason I'm interviewing him is because he has come to this Shabbaton many times.

SF: Technically it's Reisterstown.

Kit: Thank you.

So, I'd like to start and say hello.

Steve Frank, tell me about why you're interested in coming to this Shabbaton.

SF: This DeafBlind Shabbaton actually started April 23-25 in 2010 at the Pearlstone retreat center.

In Reisterstown Maryland, which is close to Baltimore.

So, it was a small group, but it was new and everyone enjoyed themselves.

They went to all the workshops and looked around and got a good education, and lots

of opportunities to socialize with each other.

And then, for the second time was a year later, in November 2011, it grew a little

bit to 13 individuals.

It started to grow, and they made a few changes at that time.

And then for the third Shabbaton, that was in June 2013.

I believe at that time there were 17 people who came who were DeafBlind.

And then two years ago was in June 2015, and there were 19 DeafBlind, and there were four

people who came all the way from Israel.

Now I believe who are from Israel this year.

Two of them are twins who are DeafBlind, and I met them, and I really enjoyed meeting them.

And then, last night, yesterday and last night, we learned about the history of the Shabbaton

since 2010 and there are a few people who have been here every year since 2010, one

is Jeff.

And then there were 6 original people who were at the first Shabbaton who are here.

Several DeafBlind people who live far away, and you know it's only two nights, so it's

a short event.

And you know it costs a lot of money for people to fly from far away.

So really people would prefer for it to be 3-4 nights but for the interpreters and SSPs,

you know ever since it's come together really well.

And some people go to another DeafBlind camp before they come here.

But here we're able to pray and socialize with each other, there's workshops.

So, it's a good balance pf activities.

And you get to pick, sometimes the prayer is optional.

Kit: I'd like to ask, why is that Shabbaton important for the DeafBlind Jewish Community?

SF: There are several people who are involved in organizing.

It's not my idea to start it, it was Sheryl Cooper, and Rabbi Lederfeind, it was really

their idea.

They said DeafBlind people need to have access to a Jewish education and socialize with each

other, that's very important.

And so, and leadership opportunities too.

And so, I remember the first one, and I'm getting older, I think it's time for younger people to have learship roles.

And there are more people who are 18, 19, 20

I'm hoping that it will keep going in the younger generation.

Some DeafBlind might not be comfortable with the prayer, I don't know.

If you're not comfortable, nothing is forced on you.

So, you can sit and interact with each other and socialize.

You don't need to be orthodox to pray.

And there is also plenty of time to sit around, and are able to learn about your Judaism,

and rabbis, and there are Jewish people who are here.

And we learned the prayer the Shema [they say the prayer] Shema Yisroel Hashem Eloheinu

Adonai Echad [Hear, O Israel, the L-rd is our Gd, the L-rd is One.]

And I remember yesterday with eh Rabbi who was teaching us all the prayer.

And we were all able to try to do the prayer together.

And then the shema we learned yesterday [recites prayer again] we all said it together.

Kit: So, when people go home, is it hard to continue their learning?

SF: When I go home, for me, I really enjoyed the Shabbaton the whole weekend, all the activities,

meeting everybody, meeting friends here.

I remember yesterday Sheryl Cooper passed out copies of prayers that we were able to

read, and bring them home to read when we had the time.

And it was printed on both sides, and Sheryl Cooper was able to read it at pass it out

so we all had copies in braille.

Three or four years ago, the Rabbi also gave out a huge stack of prayers.

That you know, I really didn't have time to read.

I didn't have a lot of time to read it so I kind of put it to the side.

And I only read a few pages of that and then other campers.

Kit: Do you think more DeafBlind Jewish people might come in the future?

SF: That's a really good question.

This year is the fifth time, so yeah, I do hope that people continue to come every two

years that we have it.

Maybe there are other things that are happening, so maybe that's why people can't come.

But there are obviously many that do, and many people keep coming.

There are also many past participants that didn't return.

You know some come one year, and don't come the next, and you might have to do more advertising.

I had a few recommendations, you know, ways to get the word out more through social media

and Facebook, ways to contact more DeafBlind Jews.

It's amazing that people all the way from Israel were able to come with Ushers syndrome.

And some people aren't able to afford it, but there are two DeafBlind boys from Israel

here for the first time.

And that was great to meet both of them.

And I hope to see them again in two years.

And you know they're going to be in college, and I don't know what their plans will be

later on.

Gallaudet is quite expensive, so we'll see what their situation is two years from now.

Kit: What is your favorite part of the Shabbaton?

SF: Well, my number one favorite part was morning prayer.

First what happens is morning prayer, there's a prayer service in the morning, and then

you have the game called Jewpordy.

And then we had opportunities throughout the day to learn, and workshops.

There are several workshops planned, and socializing opportunities.

That's part of it, to be able to walk outside on the farm, and walk around and see parts

of the farm, see animals, and goats.

At one point, there were goats born so we were able to fee the baby goats, and they

ate out of your hand, it was very cute.

And then I think that was the first time I had ever seen a baby goat before, so I really

enjoyed that part of it.

I like walking around the area, and center.

Prayers, honestly, I don't pray that much, not my focus, but there are orthodox here

who pray.

Kit: My last question for you.

Sometimes people are nervous about coming to an event like this, what would say to those

people?

SF: Yes, I remember when I went to the DeafBlind camp, four years ago, and then I asked if

there are other DeafBlind Jews here, and they said yes there are a few.

I said Hi, and I introduced myself.

I asked them if they knew about the DeafBlind Shabbaton, so I was able to tell them about

it.

I got their name, and their email, and I sent it to Sheryl Cooper, and then you know I go

to the DeafBlind camp in other states, like Washington state.

And I asked them do they know about it?

And I shared their contact information, through Sheryl Cooper, and I have two more DeafBlind

camps that I go to, one is in Seattle called Seabeck, and the other one is in Atlanta.

So, I try to stand up in front of everybody and ask if there are any Jews there and to

give them information about the Shabbaton.

I think that is a good way to get the word out.

Is anyone afraid, or nervous about coming?

I don't know.

You know, maybe the prayer part intimidates people.

But I tell them that the prayer is not required, it's really just about enjoying each other

and if you're religious, or not very religious, if you're reform or orthodox, it doesn't matter,

it's open to everybody.

You know in 2010 the Deafblind who came were orthodox and they were praying, and I didn't

really understand what was happening, but I came back again.

Maybe some of the people didn't come back because they misunderstood what was going

on.

But I hope for the future that DeafBlind are able to continue to interact.

People who pray, pray, and people who don't can interact with each other.

There's plenty to do here.

Everyone should just try.

What-ever they like.

Kit: That's all for me, thank you so much.

SF: You're welcome, you're welcome!

Kit: Thank you, and thank you for helping with interpreting, the SSPs are wonderful.

And I'm excited to tell you more about this even later.

SF: Thank you, I love you!

Bye!

Love you!
