anyways today I'm going to talk about

what has been a big part of my secondary school life I would say

and that is...K-pop

as many of you would know

K-pop has been a big part of my life

and I say a big part because

I basically spent most of my energy time money

on K-pop during my junior years

I started listening to K-pop initially because

everyone in my old school were crazy over it

there would like talk about it in class

they would talk about it after school

they would buy official merch

they would buy albums

that was how I first encountered it

and ever since my passion just grew and grew and grew

and as most of my close friends know

I actually used to be obsessed with it

I would go to the airport

just to meet Korean celebrities whenever they visit

I would wait in the hotel lobbies with other K-pop fans

just to be able to maybe even see them

and...yeah

I was a pretty crazy fan

until I just gradually you know,

stopped following it I guess

and the reason I've stopped following gradually

I would say it's because I moved to a new school

even though that's not entirely true because

ever since I joined my new school I still

I still kept on following it

I still kept on you know, buying albums

I still kept on buying merch

watching Korean variety shows and all that

it's just that ever since I joined my new school

like from that very point

I've started to gradually listen to K-pop much less

watch Korean dramas much less

it wasn't like intentional I wouldn't say

it's just that in my new school

like K-pop wasn't a thing

I could not find a single person to share this with

to like communicate with about this and

at that time it was like

it was really painful I would say because

it's been such a big part of me

I've spent so much time and energy on it like

it's my passion, I loved it

it wasn't just a hobby it was...

almost a lifestyle I would say

but all of that happened four years ago

I haven't bought a single album since three years ago

and it feels weird now thinking about it like

I occasionally do feel nostalgic about it

because it's been such a big part of my...

I wouldn't say childhood but maybe my...

you know, my junior years and all that

but it has been a good few years since that happened

the reason I'm bringing this up is

last week when I was on Insta

my friends made me listen to a few new songs

and quite a few of them I've actually heard of because

I still have K-pop friends like

every now and again they always make me

listen to new release and whatnot but this time

there's this song that actually brought me back feels

and I say feels because...I mean feels

like Beast Fiction feels

but maybe to a slightly lesser extent I would say

it was crazy it felt so weird

and that song that I listened to was

a super exciting video that I am so excited about today I'm going to be

doing an unboxing slash haul all mixed together of the package that I ordered

from Lauren James I ordered when they had their pink sale which is a huge sale

that they have I got amazing deals on herself

it was amazing always revolves Lauren James especially their bow dresses

they're more of like a southern preppy brand very girly and preppy and I just

love everything from that I'm so excited because this is my first official order

dyed me from them and I know that I will be making so many more in the future

overall process of the pink sale was very awesome of course as you can

expected a huge sale like that and there's a lot of things that were not in

my size things that were unavailable and you know sold out and it kind of stays

to buyer one one issue that I did have I ordered some pink athletic shorts and

they emailed me like a few days ago that they ran out of a size medium and the

pink shorts in south they were not able to put that in my order and they are

refunding me for anger customer service and their email was so nice and they

were like so apologetic for it and they even gave me a coupon code like as a

sorry for it which I think was like also other than that I mean it took about a

week and a half about to get in my package which was you know a little

party has I'm so excited about it so it was like it's coming it's coming when to

coming but I thought on the soup today and I'm so excited it is your day just

got better Lauren James their boxes are adorable so

I ordered a bunch of things and I can't wait to share it with you guys so let's

get started first things first I believe it's a sentence with every single

package and that is example of one of their candles so now I got is watermelon

lemonade that's a smells next you also get a twosie that just says your day

just got better when James and then it comes with a hair tie which we hair

Tector awesome this is so cute swear like as a bracelet and this as well as

your day just got better LJ birthday worded some stickers because

they're stickers I love and they're just so cute and they have the cutest sayings

and everything and they were only a dollar so they stuck to me right and

what though and I bought all the ones that I wanted

that we're still in stock Oh as well as this one this one comes in the koozie

sorry this because of that order this one comes in kuzey and it's just VL j

logo for Lauren James the other stickers that I bought myself a coffee oh wait

Warren James pink ribbon and the bow it's very much to me and I love it and I

got this one I said chin up buttercup Lauren James at

this very pretty yellow flower and then I got this boner which is my favorite

thing ever that they made and it says I'm seersucker which is prints in the

back for a boy in a bowtie which is completely true next thing that I got I

didn't actually order so I don't know what they sent this to me because of the

things that happened with the shorts or a just sent it to everyone or they

mistakenly sent it to me I'm not really sure but it's a keychain

it's a worn day of teaching it's pink and then it has the LJ and then it says

your day just got better is actually think like a really nice keychain to put

like on a backpack so that way you can pull on the differ and then I ordered

this keychain because it's just suctioning in it was like $5 or $3 I

just I love bows and I love tear suckers a blue seersucker bow it's just so darn

cute and it has a little LJ logo on the back sorry if any angles or anything

changed my card just ran out of space I had to go meet some things then I just

got two shirts which their shirts are so comfortable and have the cutest thing on

them and I just love them so much this wasn't my first color choice and I

actually don't own anything that is yellow but I really really wanted this

shirt so a lot of the colors were sold out and a lot of the sizes were gone so

I did have to get this shirt in a large for your reference it is yellow which is

not my first choice but I actually really like this yellow I see you're

sucker for a boy in a bowtie and I just think that the pink with the yellow is

so darn chilling on a front it just said on the pocket or in shams with the logo

next one that I got I also absolutely loved it saying and I love this shirt

and I love this color so that's what I got in a medium and it's in this

beautiful purple color I'm obsessed with this color this says life is better in

your sucker Lauren cane and then again it just has

blurred genes on the pocket I'm so lined to be ordering from Lauren James a ton I

cannot wait just absolutely love everything that I got so two thumbs up

for me for a warrant in maybe recommend you go check them out if you guys like

Bald By Choice - Why I Shave My Head - Duration: 5:08.

My name is Sara Grace, and I shave my head.

I first shaved my head the day after I graduated high school in 2011, donated my hair, grew

it back out, and donated again a year later.

I've grown my hair out for a few months a couple of times, but other than that I've

been bald for five years straight.

The reasons that I first shaved my head are: Curiosity

The thought got into my head to shave my hair, and it wouldn't leave.

I thought it over for many months before actually going through with it, and I have no regrets.

Rebellion I wanted to rebel.

I've always been a goody-two-shoes.

I never smoked, drank, or did drugs.

I didn't sneak out of the house.

And I wanted to do something to rebel.

And I wanted it to be different from how everyone else rebels.

I wanted it to be unique to me.

I wanted a fresh start.

High school was a stressful time for me and I wanted to leave that behind.

So I thought I would symbolize that by leaving my hair behind as well.

For confidence I was always happy to blend into the crowd

and be hidden in plain sight, but I was ready to challenge myself.

I thought that without hair to hid behind, I would be forced to gain confidence.

And it's worked.

I wanted to push the boundaries of gender roles.

If men can shave their head, why not women?

The reasons I continue to shave are: I don't necessarily prefer how I look when

I'm bald, but I prefer being bald.

I feel more myself with this haircut.

And, some people find me attractive.

Having a "thing" that sets me apart from the crowd,

even though that was terrifying when I was younger.

Some people like it.

They've thanked me for doing what I do, I guess because I normalize baldness to some

degree while a lot of people struggle with losing their hair due to genetics, chemotherapy,

Alopecia, or some other reason.

A lot of people approach me and tell me about their battle with cancer.

And if me doing my hair the way I like it helps people, awesome!

I like proving that someone can be happy, healthy, and bald.

So many people think that I'm sick or I must be miserable because I'm bald, when really

I love being bald.

I hope that my smile chips away at the association between baldness and sickness.

I love the feeling of it.

Each raindrop hitting my scalp.

The feel of wind.

Being Velcro.

Sure I miss having my hair played with, but scalp massages are amazing!

I like being able to instantly bond with people who also shave their head.

So those are my reasons for being bald,

and I get a lot of interesting reactions to being bald.

These are the ones I hear most frequently and the ones that stood out the most:

I didn't eat enough vegetables when I was your age.

No, I don't say that. I say...

You wanna know what I did with it?

I gave it away to people who lost their hair when they got sick.

I'm not saying that if you have lost your hair for a reason you can't control, you should

I realize that's probably a very difficult thing to deal with.

But if you're curious about trying it out, why not?

It grows back.

I have this big scar on my scalp.

My head dips in the back.

I could not pull that off.

I don't do it for how it looks.

I just like it.

If you wanna try it, go for it.

You might love it, like me.

That must be so easy.

Just get up and go.

Pretty much.

Although, I never styled my hair when I had it.

That's, like, no maintenance!

Other than shaving every few days, yeah.

A lot of people tell me about their battle with cancer.

I think it helps them to be able to confide in someone about something no one likes to

talk about, even if it briefly with a stranger in a grocery store.

I like to be able to help, even if it is just listening.

So many people get concerned about this in the winter.

I dress for the weather.

Celebrate Every Small Success | Motivating Vlog - Duration: 3:30.

Hello and welcome back to the Mach Project.

So, something amazing happened a couple days ago!

One of my videos got a spike in views!

The one about me relearning to dance again and suggesting to people that it's never too

late to relearn the skills you've lost because life got busy.

I was actually very proud of that video because I felt that it had a very strong, inspiring

message to share.

And I'm glad that message came through.

Before that video spiked it was only sitting at less than 120 views.

3 days later it skyrocketed to 3,500.

Now that's no viral success by any means.

But it's a small success to me.

And it's by far the most motivating thing that's ever happened to me with this channel

so far.

You see, it wasn't the amount of views that I got that I was so happy about.

It was the connection I got to share with people.

The video highlighted something very real in life that affects us all.

Life will get busy.

And it'll take things away from you.

But you know, it'd be nice to get those things back.

And I'm glad people felt motivated in knowing, "You know what?

If this guy can do it, then so can I!"

That's actually the main goal of this channel.

If I can somehow encourage you to living your life to the fullest, then that's mission accomplished

for me.

I dunno, I've always felt compelled to motivate others, especially when they feel down.

I've been doing that, probably ever since I was an adolescent.

I dunno, there's always been this urge.

Like, "how can I help this person?"

And so with the video ending up motivating others, that ended up motivating me.

It really got me thinking, "You know what?

Maybe there really is something to all this.

Maybe I can do something good with this channel."

That's what I'm hoping for anyways.

So if you felt inspired from the video, thank you!

I know that's kinda weird to say.

But.....

I don't know what else to say.

I'm just.....

I'm just really glad I got to put out a good message.

And I'm glad you got to be part of that experience.

You gotta celebrate every small success that comes your way.

If I compare my spike in views to other people's hundred of thousands to millions of views,

then yes.

What happened to me does seem rather insignificant.

But if you keep comparing yourself to others, then you're gonna lose focus of what's actually

important.

YOUR process of improvement.

And if you can stop comparing your successes to other people's successes, then you'll be

able to see the true value of your accomplishments - big or small.

While wiping away the black paint, some will stay on the golden paint. This gives it an old gold touch

past few weeks have been hectic

past two months have been hectic

and I'm definitely back now 100%

anyways today I'm going to talk about

what has been a big part of my secondary school life I would say

and that is...K-pop

as many of you would know

K-pop has been a big part of my life

and I say a big part because

I basically spent most of my energy time money

on K-pop during my junior years

I started listening to K-pop initially because

everyone in my old school were crazy over it

there would like talk about it in class

they would talk about it after school

they would buy official merch

they would buy albums

that was how I first encountered it

and ever since my passion just grew and grew and grew

and as most of my close friends know

I actually used to be obsessed with it

I would go to the airport

just to meet Korean celebrities whenever they visit

I would wait in the hotel lobbies with other K-pop fans

just to be able to maybe even see them

and...yeah

I was a pretty crazy fan

until I just gradually you know,

stopped following it I guess

and the reason I've stopped following gradually

I would say it's because I moved to a new school

even though that's not entirely true because

ever since I joined my new school I still

I still kept on following it

I still kept on you know, buying albums

I still kept on buying merch

watching Korean variety shows and all that

it's just that ever since I joined my new school

like from that very point

I've started to gradually listen to K-pop much less

watch Korean dramas much less

it wasn't like intentional I wouldn't say

it's just that in my new school

like K-pop wasn't a thing

I could not find a single person to share this with

to like communicate with about this and

at that time it was like

it was really painful I would say because

it's been such a big part of me

I've spent so much time and energy on it like

it's my passion, I loved it

it wasn't just a hobby it was...

almost a lifestyle I would say

but all of that happened four years ago

I haven't bought a single album since three years ago

and it feels weird now thinking about it like

I occasionally do feel nostalgic about it

because it's been such a big part of my...

I wouldn't say childhood but maybe my...

you know, my junior years and all that

but it has been a good few years since that happened

the reason I'm bringing this up is

last week when I was on Insta

my friends made me listen to a few new songs

and quite a few of them I've actually heard of because

I still have K-pop friends like

every now and again they always make me

listen to new release and whatnot but this time

there's this song that actually brought me back feels

and I say feels because...I mean feels

like Beast Fiction feels

but maybe to a slightly lesser extent I would say

it was crazy it felt so weird

and that song that I listened to was

Blackpink's 마지막처럼

what's that in English

I saw Lisa's hair

I was like whoa okay okay

when it got to the chorus I was like

damn, hell yeah

because ever since I stopped listening to K-pop like

so much has happened...like

Unboxing the Cichlid Box from MyAquariumBox - Duration: 2:39.

This week I'm unboxing a special delivery

from the guys over at MyAquariumBox.

If you don't already know, MyAquariumBox is a monthly subscription box service for fishkeepers.

It's run by some aquarium YouTubers, Greg Jones and Mike from Mass Aquariums,

and each month they send out a box full of cool fishkeeping products for you to try out.

There are three different options: freshwater, saltwater, and this one, which is the cichlid

box.

And they also now have an option where you can go on their site, myaquariumbox.com and

directly purchase a bunch of the products.

They were also cool enough to feature me and fishkeepershirts.com in this month's box as

part of their Small Business Spotlight.

So thanks a lot to them for doing that,

and without further ado, let's open up this box and see what's inside.

By the way, special thanks to the postal service for leaving it to sit out in the rain all

day.

It doesn't seem to have reached any of the stuff inside though which is a relief.

So at the top of every box is a flyer with a list of the contents and their values, which

is really cool,

and of course this month it's even cooler because as I mentioned, it has information

about me on it.

Then there are a couple of other flyers,

one is a fish food catalog from Ocean Nutrition,

and the other is a $5 coupon for YourFishStuff.

The first product this month is a sponge filter from Hagen,

it's a cylindar type that hangs on the side of the tank with suction cups.

These are great for smaller tanks.

Then there's also a pen in here, which will go along nicely with a product we'll see here

in a minute.

Then we have a 1" bulkhead from Lifegard Aquatics.

I'm a big fan of their bulkheads.

All of the bulkheads in my fishroom are from Lifegard and I've never had one fail.

And then along with the bulkhead is a 45mm diamond hole saw.

If you're not familiar with the process of drilling tanks, this is how it's done.

It just fits into a drill and grinds through the glass without breaking it.

I actually need another one of these so this will be great to have.

Then there is a bag of Herbivore Sticks from Agcore.

If you're subscribed to Greg's channel you'll know Agcore, he's done a few videos about

them.

Really cool company and this is some high quality food.

There's also a sample of some Hikari micro wafers in here.

And then last but not least is an Aquarium Journal.

All good fishkeepers write everything down,

whether is water change schedules, filter cleaning schedules,

dates that fry were born, you name it,

and having a dedicated journal for it is really cool.
