hi I'm Kunal I'm from out here from V drone use drones to scan farms and give
farmer important crops they know that they can use to improve their crop use
so what we do is we take the drone slide over the land collect a bunch of data
post-process it within our own software and give the farmer crop health data
which he can then use to see which parts are the healthiest which was a
completely dead and more importantly of all the person creepy image on which he
can give more care to the pasture needed give less care to the path patrol and
improve its crop yields and and save time and money by not giving extra
cameras on the drones are thrown autonomously right there is no arrow
from the pilot and this is a service we provide and it's not been sold you
started this company or your back or the idea start run off while you are doing
is that goes away in us the idea came to me three years ago as a college project
it is your problem that's less close to both me and canal and we were trying to
figure out whether we can implement this in India some ways I think when when we
first got the idea it was a little too early because own technology was still
pretty nascent at that point of time I think now people are a little bit more
comfortable in the technology is a bit more stable so we're able to achieve
what we're looking to do so when we started our last year the first thing
that we tried to do was figure out whether actually the drone was the best
way of doing what people - or once we realize it it was a good enough platform
to build out the rest of our technology on we started focusing on on the rest of
it so the mapping part of what we're doing or that took a while once we
figure that out then we focused on the software on the post-processing
which is where I get the magic happen so we built all of that in-house the
mapping equipment is built in-house the software built is inhouse we post process
is everything offline but one of the first companies in the world to do that
and we provide the farmers this data as an image either by whatsapp or as our
app you can take it on on the app itself and he can use that data to then better
understand his farm and changes approach the we went ahead using drones and
obviously the the next best thing we take another chorus put in wedding
don't to make a lot of money but we decided wanna do something else could
prove our efficiency which already few of factors in India and agriculture
is one of the biggest industry we have and obviously the backbone of our
economy so we wanted to prove our efficiency in that sector and help also
have the farmers whilst we're doing that so we have a team of four seven people
working with us right now with the split between the hardware side in the
software side and we've raised a little bit of money that's kept us going
the idea is to to get this out within the next six weeks and we're already
conducting a pilot with several farmers in in and around Bangalore um we're
doing several case studies to help quantify the sort of impact that we're
able to have what sets us apart from other drone companies is that everyone
else is using machine learning and Big Data to just sort of predict or what
could happen or in the future at the bar
getting instant scuffles analysis so that's that's very different than
predicting and that more accurately we feel that's the better route to take and
what we're trying to do right now is to put a number on the sort of return on
investment the farmer can get the sort of benefit you can get by investing into
our service so we charge for the over techniques for and for a cup and over an
entire season of pharmacokinetics double-digit increase in revenues so you
can see between ten to fifteen percent increase in revenues and in crop yields
over very excited to that we also helps reduce input cost so he's not missing
our water and fertilizer he uses just how how much you need so what we happen
is by reducing input cost and improving power
