These are also great for storing crayons, beads, stickers, and more.

4. DIY tube socks into super-cute baby leg warmers.

keeping a nice straight line and even with the other sock.

Turn them inside out and created about an inch hem for each sock.

5. Buckets are a good choice for organizing art supplies too.

Simply hang a few brightly color buckets on the hooks

to store all of your kids colored pencil.

6. Use a mesh laundry bag to hold sand toys at the beach.

The awesome thing about this is that you don't drag home

a bunch of sand at the end of the day!

7. Keep your car clean by using a cereal container as a trash can.

You can also keep your car in shape with a hanging shoe organizer,

and, keep your kids from making a mess on fast-food runs with this dollar-store staple.

8. Craft boxes are perfect for organizing barrettes and hair ties.

Organize them according mainly to color

and if they are all messed up, ask the girls to sort them up again.

9. DIY on-the-wall storage for your kid's magnetic toys using dollar-store pizza pans.

First, clean and prime the back of your pizza pan.

Once the primer is set up and dry,

paint your pans with your favorite color.

Set your pan on top of a sturdy cardboard box

and drill a small pilot hole in the edge of your pan.

Use your drill and the screws to mount the pans to your wall.

Once the paint is dry on the pan edges,

go ahead and move your magnets to your new magnetic storage area!

10. Dollar-store baskets are also amazing for outdoor activities.

11. Use Dollar Store dish racks to make organizing school supplies easy.

You stand the picture books up in the rack

and then your younger children can flip through the books without making a mess.

12. DIY a crib rail cover using a pool noodle.

Follow the complete instruction at Baby Bump App.

13. DIY these adorable bookends featuring your kiddo's favorite animal.

Glue 2 pieces of woods into L shape and then glue the elephant toys in it.

Spray paint them and you've got yourself a cute bookends.

14. Ice-pop trays are surprisingly ideal for organizing your kid's crayons.

Perfect for kindergarten or transitional kindergarten group tables.

15. Make traveling with kids easier

by putting together a supply box with items from your local dollar store.

This travel craft box is small but a great travel solution for kids.

It holds all the fun you need and can be packed easily

into a suitcase or into your car this summer.

16. Dollar-store frames are perfect for making window art

with glue and food coloring.

Simply put white glue and food coloring

into 4 cheap condiment bottle and shake it up.

Then, let your kids unleash their creativity

by squirting the colors onto frames from the dollar store.

The results is actually not so bad...

17. You could also use the photo frame

to make a "family command center" board.

Attach a Laminated pine cut wood into your wall.

Glue the photo frame into the pine wood

and print off all of your printables on white cardstock.

Insert the cardstock into the photo frame

and you are ready to keep your family organized.

18. Create a wipe off calendar with the combination of photo frame and paint chip.

Put the whole thing and BOOM! Wall calendar.

19. For an easy cleanup, throw down a plastic table cloth before craft time.

You can use them over and over again.

They get very painted and beat up, but hey – they were a dollar.

20. Use a salad spinner to make your own spin-art.

All you do is place a plate or piece of paper in the bottom of the spinner,

add in a few squirts of paint, and give it a good spin!

Carefully remove your art and let it dry . . .

and then create beautiful arrangements with them all!

21. Pick up some nontoxic yellow highlighters

to create versatile glowing water.

Pop the back off of the marker and pull out the ink soaked felt that is inside.

Run the ink-soaked felt under a small stream of water with a container underneath to catch it.

Squeeze the felt as the water runs over it to get all of the coloring out of the highlighter.

Turn the lights off and the blacklight on to see the water glow.

This is the blacklight fixture that we have.

22. Kitchen sponges can be used to make low-cost ice packs for your kid's lunch box.

This way if your kid loses the ice pack it's no big deal.

Soak sponges in water and then freeze them in zip-top bags. That's all there is to it.

23. You can also soak sponges in your favorite fabric softener to create never-ending dryer sheets.

24. Pick up mesh bags from the dollar store

and fill them with dried lavender, or your favorite dryer sheet.

Now your sheets smell like they are fresh from the dryer

whenever you get them out!

25. Bring straws with you in a toothbrush container.

Kids always need straws and this way you can have them

when you need them without mess.

26. Put dollar-store baskets on the stairs for your kids to put their loose toys.

Anything the kids leave downstairs goes in their crap buckets,

and they carry it upstairs at the end of every day to put stuff away.

If they wait too long, the stuff is confiscated, and they have to do something to get it back!

27. There are also incredible finds for your kid's American Girl doll in the toy section.

Well, after spending $100+ on the doll,

you deserve these cool — and mercifully affordable — accessories.

28. Organize medicine for quick and easy access in a pinch.

You could use cheap storage boxes from dollar store to store your medicine.

Make sure to check the expiration date

and then categorize all of your medicine into their own box.

29. An ice cube tray makes the perfect organizer for tiny bits and pieces

because of the small compartments.

Better yet, you can even stack them if you have space in your drawer.

You can store items like jewelry,

sewing and craft materials, and office supplies in the trays.

30. Use a utensil caddy as a toothbrush organizer.

Organize combs, brushes, and hair ties this way too!

31. Use a carabiner to keep hair ties from running amok.

With this, they all stay together, easy to grab

and you can easily get off the ones you need.

32. Fake snow is great for sensory play.

You could create this artificial snow

by turning ordinary water into a white fluffy substance with InstaSnow.

33. Dollar-store toys and trinkets make perfect "Catch 'em being good" gifts.

You fill the prize box with all kinds of Dollar Store Treasures

(puzzles, drawing paper, little toys, etc) that are kept in the same basket.

When you catch them doing good or being a big helper,

34. Hang dollar-store baskets to keep gaming supplies organized.

Get some $1 basket with handle from Target

to organize your gaming accessories and then hang them by using some cup hanger hooks.

35. Use pool noodles to create foam swords.

Here's how to do it:

Buy a swimming noodle and cut it in half.

After you cut your noodle in half,

measure the pvc pipe to be about 6 inches longer and cut it.

Wedge it all the way to the tip of the noodle or slightly under the tip so it doesn't poke out.

To create the sword handle,

get foam sheets from craft store and then cut them down to about 3.5? by 11?.

Using an exacto knife, cut out the inner circle of the indentation.

Slide the foam circles over the PVC pipe that is sticking out of the foam

and It should be a tight fit.

36. DIY a tiny North Pole out of a solar stake light.

Start by covering a round foam base with fake snow and glue.

While you're waiting for the glue on your snow to dry,

take two sign-shaped pieces of paper and write "North Pole" on each one.

For hanging the sign, you will need two short sections of necklace chain.

Make sure both pieces of chain are the same length so your sign will hang straight.

Open the end link on each piece of chain and secure it to a link farther up the chain,

forming a loop.

Lay one of the North Pole signs face down

and place the unlooped ends of the chain pieces on the top side of the sign.

Put a layer of glue on the back of the sign and layer the second sign on top,

so that the lettering on both sides of the sign is facing out

with the ends of the chains sandwiched in between.

Cut a pair of popsicle sticks to make a sign bracket.

Glue the cut ends of the popsicle sticks together at a right angle.

Apply a coat of paint to the sign bracket,

then glue it into place on the shaft of the solar path light at the top.

Carefully press the bottom end of the path light into the snow-covered foam base.

Slide the looped ends of the chain pieces over the popsicle stick bracket to hang the sign

and... it's done!

37. DIY these glitter ornaments that won't shed!

First, take the tops off the ornaments.

Put some Mop & Glo in the ornament and swirl it around covering the inside.

Pour the glitter into the ornament and then swirl the glitter around until the ornament is coated.

Let the ornaments dry with the tops off.

Then put the tops back on and hang them on the tree!

And… that's all for now…

Who is Roscoe 'Fatty' Arbuckle? Cinema bios in 3 minutes or less! - Duration: 2:37.

(Kyle Brodeur) Roscoe "Fatty" Arbuckle was one of, if not the, most influential silent film stars

of early Hollywood, but why hasn't history remembered him as well as his contemporaries

like Charlie Chaplin or Buster Keaton?

Here's a quick look at who Fatty Arbuckle was, but if you want a more comprehensive

look at the man and his times, check out our Rise of the Studio System video here.

Roscoe Conkling Arbuckle was born March 24, 1887 in Smith Center, Kansas.

Arbuckle, also known by by the stage nickname "Fatty", was a silent film actor, director,

comedian and much more.

He was responsible for discovering the talents of Buster Keaton and Bob Hope.

He also mentored Charlie Chaplin.

As a child, it's said that young Arbuckle had a "wonderful" singing voice.

This ringing endorsement, however, was made by his loving mother.

She encouraged him to perform in his first stage role at eight years old

with Frank Bacon's company.

Of course, Arbuckle disliked the name Fatty, quietly asserting…

(vocalizing - music only)

But continued to use it when referring to his stage character.

Even though he was pushing 300 pounds, it is said that he was actually quite agile and

light on his feet while performing.

Roscoe's favorite on screen gag was the "pie in the face."

He first uses this cliche in the 1913 Keystone picture "A Noise from the deep."

In 1921, he was paid $3 million dollars to star in 18 silent films.

That's about $40 million dollars in 2017.

In comparison to today, while some stars like DiCaprio who can cash in on $25 million dollar

deals for one film,

(DiCaprio as Jordan Belfort) (whispering) "Oh my god!"

the average yearly income for SAG actors is only about $52,000.

In the same year, he was to be tried for the murder of Virginia Rappe.

This would become one of Hollywood's first "Scandals".

Arbuckle fought off many allegations and conspiracies involving Rappe's death

and was eventually acquitted.

Despite the legal decision, Arbuckle was still viewed as guilty by the public and the newly

formed Hollywood censorship board ruled that

Arbuckle would "never work in the industry again."

Although the ruling was reversed sometime later, he struggled to find work and his career

faded as his colleagues and proteges carried on his legacy.

This was just a small look at quite a large man.

RANDOM: Las cosas agrias de las vacaciones/ The ugly things about holidays - Duration: 5:18.

Okay...I must be honest

I have nothing to do!

Hi! I'm Majo...just Majo

Yeah...just call me Majo...(in Spanish) I think my real name is easy to guess

Because I have nothing to do let's talk about...

Let's talk about the ugly side of holidays!

Don't know if it's deductible...but I'm on vacations...My second day

After school, I was jumping and shouting; okno, I wasn't, only in my mind

So I was doing that, saying "Finally! I have 2 weeks to rest!"

Then I realized, today when I woke up

Wait, what should I do with my life?

Bc, basically

90% is dedicated to eat, sleep and my cellphone

And the rest is dedicated to hang out or any other thing

That's sad :"v

Knowing myself, I know next week I' ll want to come back to school

Although I hate uniform and classes, but actually I like learning

I ACTUALLY go to school bc I like seeing my friends

What I don't like about holidays is that I don't see my friends as I'm used to at school

But in school I can, I see them 8 hours a day

And I don't like not seeing them!

Another fact is that you do the same everyday

At least with me XD

I actually do the same everyday :/ Wake up, eat and go to my bed :(

I plan almost nothing

And that's sad for me

Being honest, I'm jealous of people who do different things almost everyday

There are so many things to do in this world! And what I do is just limit! And I say "What's wrong with you Majo!?"

Luckily, these vacations are 2 weeks long

I think I can survive!! :D

But I know in summer I'm done. Summer here it's between December and February

I don't know what I'll do! I might do the same as other summers

I consider summer holidays and holidays between terms are different

I don't know if this happens in other countries, but every vacation between terms are 1 week long

Except 2nd term (from 4) which last 2 weeks (in July)

It's REALLY easy for me to get bored on summer

I can do things I want to do or new things, but I never do it!

I think I should vary on the things I do, instead of just limiting

But at the same time, I'm lazy to do it! HAHA so I contradict myself

But if it wasn't bc of holidays, a person couldn't work as well

A human can't be a machine

Humans need to rest for renovating themselfs and that's what you basically do on holidays

Even me being so active; I couldn't survive school if it wasn't bc of holidays

Bc I also consider as a person who gets stressed very easily with school...but what can I do...This is me and my life

I hope you liked this video! If you'd like more of this content just comment :3

Give it a thumbs up! And...Enjoy life! C'est la vie :)

Katie Ledecky Wins Two Golds To Open World Championships - Duration: 2:13.

The 20-year-old American star began an audacious week by winning a pair of gold medals Sunday on the opening night of swimming along the Danube River.

She cruised to a dominating victory in the 400-meter freestyle and put the U.S. ahead to stay in the 4x100 free relay.

"It was a good first night for Team USA," Ledecky said. "I'm happy with my two swims and how it all went."

The only blip of a disappointment: Ledecky didn't break the 400 free world record she set last summer at Rio de Janeiro. That merely demonstrates what a high standard she's set.

"It's my second-best time," Ledecky said. "There's no disappointment. It's a world championship gold medal and there's nothing to complain about there."

Ledecky touched in 3 minutes, 58.34 seconds — more than 3 seconds ahead of U.S. teammate Leah Smith but nearly 2 seconds off the world record (3:56.46) from the Olympics.

About an hour later, Ledecky returned to the pool for the relay, a down-and-back sprint that is the weakest of her distances, but one that provides an opportunity to equal Missy Franklin's female record

Ledecky turned in the slowest split on the American team, actually slipping to third on her 50 flip.

But she powered back to the front by the time she passed off to Olympic champion Simone Manuel, who closed it out for the Americans.

At the worlds two years ago, the Americans stunningly failed to qualify for the final in Kazan, a huge embarrassment for the swimming superpower.

The U.S. took three of the first four swimming events, holding off hard-charging Brazil in the men's relay. Caeleb Dressel went out more than a second faster than anyone on the opening leg

Now, they're back on top of the world.

THE IDOLM@STER.KR Ep. 13 Clip - Taeri, "I''m going to quit." - Duration: 1:50.

Everyone else is working so hard for their dreams

and it's like I'm the only one that doesn't have any goals.

I've been lost for a while now.

It took me this long to realize it.

- So... - That's just a lame excuse.

- Youngjoo. - Youngjoo.

What about all the work you did for the past two years?

You said you wanted to be an idol. That you wanted to be on stage with us.

Right, I did.

But...

Then don't run away.

Stop it, Youngjoo.

Stop?

Stop what?

This isn't about your team, is that it?

What?

You're acting like it's not a big deal because she's not on your team.

How can you say that?

I'm right, aren't I?

What was it like when Jiseul and Mint said they would leave your team?

You said that you'd always be one team,

and asked them to stay, didn't you?

But why can't you say the same for Taeri?

Why are you telling her to quit?

That's not what I meant. Just look at her!

What?

She's been throwing up everything she eats.

She's been ill and still is.

Can't you see that?

Cole Prime - In The End (Vocal-Only Linkin Park Cover) Draft 1 - Duration: 3:43.

It starts with One thing I don't know why

It doesn't even

matter how hard you try Keep that in mind, I designed this rhyme

To explain in due time

All I know Time is a valuable thing

Watch it fly by as the pendulum swings Watch it count down to the end of the day

The clock ticks life away

It's so unreal Didn't look out below

Watch the time go right out the window Trying to hold on did-didn't even know

I wasted it all just to watch you go

I kept everything inside and even though I tried, it all fell apart

What it meant to me will eventually be a memory of a time when I tried so hard

...and got so far But in the end it doesn't even matter

I had to fall to lose it all But in the end it doesn't even matter

One thing, I don't know why It doesn't even matter how hard you try

Keep that in mind, I designed this rhyme To remind myself how I tried so hard

In spite of the way you were mocking me Acting like I was part of your property

Remembering all the times you fought with me

I'm surprised it got so far

Things aren't the way they were before You wouldn't even recognize me anymore

Not that you knew me back then But it all comes back to me in the end

You kept everything inside and even though I tried, it all fell apart

What it meant to me will eventually be a memory of a time when I tried so hard

...and got so far But in the end it doesn't even matter

I had to fall to lose it all But in the end it doesn't even matter

I've put my trust in you Pushed as far as I can go

Hiring a Virtual Assistant - AN AWESOME INVESTMENT (1 or 2) - Duration: 7:07.

So if you are someone who is good at everything you do then this video you

probably want to turn off right about now but if you happen to be in that

small group of people who is not necessarily a fan of everything you need

to do in your business or your life then tune in to this video because we're

going to go through one of the most important things you can do in your

business to help you reduce procrastination get more done and just

generally have a much happier life and that thing is outsourcing so I have

experimented with outsourcing or hiring a VA or virtual assistant for about

seven years on and off and it's only within the last year or so I really got

my knack for it and I'm going to make a second video where I share some tips and

strategies on how to really make this work for you but I want to just go over

the premise of outsourcing and why it's so beneficial for me I find that for

every hour of work that I pay for that I have someone else do I save at least two

hours for myself and there's a few reasons this happens first of all

procrastination when you hire someone to do all the work you don't like doing you

take away not only that work but all the procrastination all the dread all the

putting it off that goes into things like accounting or editing or whatever

it is that you don't like to do the second thing where you save time is that

the person you hire is probably better at it than you are or the very least

they're more focused because they're billing you for that so if you have to

do this say you have to put together some templates and do some invoices and

all kinds of work you don't like doing it's probably going to take you like 2

or 3 hours because you're kind of going to Drudge through it and not want to do

it and not be very good at it which is one of the reasons you probably don't

like doing it whereas when you hire someone they're probably more likely to

have experience with that and work through really quickly my one of my more

recent invoices from one of my virtual assistants was way lower than I thought

it would be I assumed it was maybe going to be in the forty hour range and it was

in the twenty hour range for the month and so I was blown away by how quickly

someone else was able to get done work that for me would have taken days

and days and days okay so outsourcing is beneficial and I would say even if

you're in your first couple years of work if you do it right and again I'll

cover that in the next video then outsourcing can be really beneficial for

you and it can actually help you get out of your own way and accelerate your

business but if you're starting out you're probably saying but then I don't

even have enough money for me yet and you're telling me to hire someone else

that is ridiculous okay yes and no the thing is is whatever

you're doing right now if you're a freelancer you have a certain service

you provide and more than likely you can earn more doing that per hour

then what you have to pay to have someone do some of these other tasks

that are potentially holding you back in some cases you might actually find once

you hire someone to do certain tasks for you that it frees up three four five

times as many hours because you'll realize after as I did that

procrastination and putting things off is actually eating up a lot more of your

time than you thought it was and so what I would recommend is if you're starting

out if you're in your first couple years or if you've been working for yourself

for four or five years but haven't really gotten over that threshold then

consider minimizing your life expenses so find ways to cut down on cost you

might actually find that at some point you're spending more money on your team

or your outsourcers then you're spending on living your life but that is a good

thing because that's reinvesting right that's putting money back in your

business back in your future it's giving you the opportunity to grow that much

quicker than it would if you just went along on your own without that help so

what are some things that you can cut down costs on that will then allow you

to reinvest take that money and rather than spending it on your self around

living find ways to reinvest that into your business and in this case I'm

talking about in terms of outsourcing and if you haven't already do subscribe

to the channel at this point because I am going to make another video on

minimalism and how to reduce your expenses and reduce your cost because

this is one of the most important things when you're starting out working for

yourself is to keep your nut or your basic expenses

every month as low as they possibly can be so subscribe to the channel and get

that video when it comes out now back to the outsourcing to give you an overview

in terms of how much it might cost if you're looking to hire someone depending

on where they're from and the kind of work you're doing

you can really be looking to start as low as maybe three US dollars per hour

moving up to ten US dollars per hour and with that you can actually hire some

really talented good people and it's not a matter of treating someone bad or

giving someone a poor standard of living it's actually in many cases a situation

where the person you're hiring is living a middle or upper middle-class life in

their own country because their purchasing power is that much more so

you've got to get it out of your head in terms of the minimum cost like four

dollars an hour what could I get for that well in many countries four dollars

an hour is a very good wage you combine that with the fact that you're letting

your employee work from home work when they want so if someone is a parent or

maybe they have a full-time job during the day and they do some outsourcing

work at night all these different things come in to make it a quite an appealing

job for people so with a very small budget you can actually get started I

suggest starting by the hour and I'm going to talk about this more like how

to pay people and how to set it up in the next video but when I suggest

generally doing is start by the hour and start with small stuff so rather than

try to jump right in and hire someone to do everything start with kind of one

task that you can unload that you can test people with and then get started

with that so with that sort of thing you can get started for ten twenty thirty

dollars a month and start getting some things off your plate and free up your

time and then test that if for you you find that once you give the tasks away

to someone else you get a lot more energy you get out of bed with a little

more bounce in your step because you're not dreading the work that you'd usually

procrastinate then you might really see the value in the outsourcing and be able

to focus more and more of your energy on making more money and then you can

invest that again in terms of more outsourcing and that of course creates

this nice cycle which will end up creating exponential growth in your

business thanks for watching this video as I said before do subscribe

the channel I'll have other videos on outsourcing some tips on how to hire

people and the best practices as well as on cutting down your cost and saving

money so that you can actually reinvest in your business catch you in the next

one
