Youtube daily report Jul 31 2017

Before we had the lasermachine we cut evertyhing with a knife on the cutting mat.

That's just a lot of work,

and you will not get the desired details which you would get with a laser machine.

I can do a lot with a precision cutting knife.

But based on time and detail, you will not even get close to beating the laser machine.

I am Patrick Bil, architectual scale model builder for Team V Architecture in Amsterdam.

And I've been working here for almost two years now.

And about a year and a half with the BRM laser machine.

I'm an architect by occupation.

I have always had an interest in building maquettes.

I have always built many models,

initially without laser machine.

I have also converted many of my own projects into maquettes.

I just really enjoy working with maquettes.

Especially the concept maquettes, as I do here.

We mainly work on big utility projects.

For example train stations and more complex buildings.

An example of this is "Station Rotterdam Centraal".

We are about to start with "Station Amsterdam Zuid".

But for example, also some high rise buildings in Amsterdam,

such as Overhoeks and project HAUT, which is getting quite some attention now.

Project HAUT is a fairly tall tower, built entirely out of wood..

We use the laser machine to build maquettes.

We build those models in all kinds of scales,

like major urban planning models but also one to one models.

The machine is mostly used for the concept models.

This usually applies to scales of 1:1000 or 1:500,

In order to make models very quickly,

and to get clear insight into what a building will look like.

Materials we use are mostly MDF and acrylate.

And in addition, sometimes we use paper,

in fact, I've tested almost all materials that can be cut.

But we can make most models out of MDF and acrylate.

For us, the laser is a real design tool,

also to test things during the design process.

We also make a lot of models to see what the building would look like if we make changes to the plan.

So we use the laser as an artist would use SketchUp,

to get spatial insight into the design process.

That's the great power of the laser machine for us,

and the speed that comes with it.

We can make models three times as fast with a laser machine.

And that is very important in the beginning of the process,

to support designing architects in developing projects.

I searched for laser machines on te internet,

and requested some information.

As I also did with BRM.

Eventually I visited a number of companies.

BRM is in terms of pricing,

quality,

professionality, appearance and what BRM is able to deliver,

definitely the winner.

BRM installed the machine here and left it in optimal working order.

Eventually you enter into a kind of relationship with the machine.

You learn to work together.

In fact, the laser cutter actually does everything for the model builder.

It's still a learning process,

even after 18 months I discover new things.

So that really makes this job fun.

CM Punk Wrestling RETURN Talks! | WrestleTalk News July 2017 - Duration: 5:09.

Hello and welcome to the WrestleTalk News! I'm Oli Davis.

Illegitimate Autograph Several weeks ago, Kurt Angle celebrated his

5th wedding anniversary, thanking his "5 beautiful children" for his cake on Instagram.

Problem is, he's got six kids now - ever since Jason Jordan was revealed as Angle's

illegitimate son. You're exposing the business, Kurt.

Thankfully Jordan hasn't inherited his father's blatant disregard for kayfabe, as reddit user

ryeinc recently revealed - getting an autograph from the man, who signed it as 'Jason Jordan

Angle'. I'm glad you're owning this gimmick, Jordan.

Because you're stuck with it. Forever. CM Punk In Wrestling Return Talks

'Forever' is a pretty definitive statement, though - and a time period wrestlers don't

often stick to. I'm looking at you Terry Funk. So Ring of Honor COO Joe Koff's recent

comments to WrestleZone Daily makes for some very intriguing listening.

A considerable portion of WWE's main event scene right now can be traced back to Ring

of Honor about a decade ago: Seth Rollins was Tyler Black, Daniel Bryan was Bryan Danielson,

Samoa Joe was...still Samoa Joe. You try telling him he's getting a new name [IMAGE]. But

those guys arguably wouldn't be so prominently featured in WWE if it wasn't for the man

who paved their way: the once-called King of the Indys CM Punk.

Punk wrestled for Ring of Honor from 2002 to 2006, where he was a one-time ROH World

Champion. A period he loved so much, he even referenced them during his infamous pipebomb

in WWE: "I'm leaving with the WWE Championship

on July 17th. And hell, who knows, maybe I'll go defend it in New Japan Pro Wrestling. Maybe…I'll

go back to Ring of Honor." With Punk leaving WWE in 2014 and not having

wrestled since, WrestleZone Daily asked ROH's COO if they'd approached him about an in-ring

return: "CM Punk, if you're listening or reading,

I hope you are, you are always welcome in our house. You know that. He knows that. We've

had conversations in the past through people. He knows that there is a welcome sign for

him...I haven't spoken to him personally and I think it's through intermediaries

or whatever. I think his first goal was to be involved in his MMA stuff…"

So Punk has at least had contact with ROH about a return to the promotion.

Punk remains under contract to the UFC, but it's unclear whether he'll be booked in

another fight after his one-sided debut loss to Mickey Gall. UFC might just be keeping

him under contract so he doesn't go to Bellator. But even with Punk's MMA venture seemingly

running out of steam, a wrestling return still seems unlikely anytime soon. Punk told Fox

Sports earlier this month that he doesn't miss wrestling at all, and said a return to

WWE specifically is highly improbably while he's being sued by their doctor Chris Amann

- a lawsuit Punk believes WWE is funding. And nothing ever came of 5 Star Wrestling's

$1 million return offer back in May, so money doesn't seem to be a motivating factor.

Then again, that's why a spiritual homecoming to Ring of Honor seems the most probable scenario

- doing it for the love of the promotion that established his wrestling career, rather than

working for the McMahons yet again. Thing is, Punk might've already made a wrestling

return that nobody knows about. A year ago, Punk himself told Peter Rosenberg on ESPN

Radio the exact conditions in which he'd make his in-ring return:

"WWE, nah. Absolutely not. But you never know. I could pop up here and there...it's

not going to be anything televised. It's going to be me in a f***** ninja outfit wrestling

one of my buddies and nobody's ever going to know."

Gemma's Trip to Ireland - Duration: 4:37.

Hi Bold Bakers!

You know I love great food, and it's my mission every week on Bigger Bolder Baking

to share with you simple recipes that deliver impressive results.

Also, you've requested to see more of my travels.

So I thought why not take you along with me and show you some of my favorite food from

around the world.

Every Monday, in my NEW travel food show, Gemma Eats…, I'll take you on my culinary

adventures including where I grew up in Ireland, my trip to Barcelona, Spain and even new favorites

where I live now in Los Angeles.

Gemma Eats... begins next Monday, August 7th at 8:30am PT so don't miss it!

This week's episode is more like an appetizer for Gemma Eats….so come along with me as

I show you my hometown of Wexford, Ireland and get to know a bit more about my family

and why we love food so much…

My home in Ireland is one of the most beautiful places in the world with gorgeous landscapes,

all sorts of different terrain.

And incredible history.

And on a rare sunny day there's nowhere like it.

But to me home is really about family…and food.

You've seen my mum, Pat, before on Bigger Bolder Baking.

She's the original Bold Baker, who inspired me to pursue my passion for food and become

a professional chef.

The thing is.

Food brings my family together.

So on my trip, when we really connected was over an incredible lunch my mum prepared.

Including insane desserts like my mum's Banoffee Pie, which we made last St. Patrick's

Day on the show.

Then there was my sister Carol-Ann's Baked Blueberry Cheesecake that was out of this

world.

Last, but but not least were my best-ever brownies which you're all going to see in

a future Bigger Bolder Baking episode.

(My entire family cooks and enjoys great food.)

One person you haven't seen yet is my Dad, George.

Before I was born my dad was a wine merchant.

When he was young he worked in vineyards in France and lived a life focused on good food

and wine.

He and I spent a good amount of time together on this trip.

And we actually became tourists in our own hometown traveling to a place called Hook

Head featuring the world's oldest operational lighthouse.

We even took a tour of Ireland's most-haunted house called Loftus Hall.

This placed inspired my Halloween episode from a few years ago.

I don't often get to see my parents so I really enjoy my time with them when I do.

A short trip away by boat is a beautiful seaside town called Tramore near Waterford.

Now when I say, "My entire family loves to cook and eat…"

I really mean the entire family.

Including the kids.

These are my cousins and they're already incredible Bold Bakers.

Let's get baking!!!

I asked the kids what they wanted to make and they all voted for my Savory Pop-Tarts.

I'm glad they picked Pop-Tarts because they're really easy to make and they're great for

little hands.

To be honest with you, I did very little work here since the kids did most of the heavy-lifting.

These Ham & Cheese Pop-Tarts remind me of things my mum would make with us as kids.

While we were waiting for the Pop-Tarts to bake, the kids asked if we could make Homemade

Starbucks Frappuccinos.

I loved this idea because all they had to do was blend a few ingredients together.

And we were really lucky that granny Rosaleen had a blender had one to hand.

So we raided her fridge.

We got some strawberries, milk, blended them all up and made a Strawberries & Cream Frappuccino.

Now this was as huge hit.

It's better than the ones you buy in Starbucks.

Sorry Starbucks.

But then we found a packet of Oreos in the cupboard and we decided to make a Cookies

& Cream Frappuccino, too.

Perfect timing because our Pop-Tarts were done!

Oh my gosh.

Look at that!

Gorgeous!

I really think the kids did a fantastic job with these!

And being in the sunny south east, we sat outside and enjoyed them on this beautiful

summer day.

Every time I come back to Ireland, I always discover more and more reasons to love this

little country of mine.

Even though my family has now grown in America, I know that Ireland will always be my home.

I hope you enjoyed this episode and make sure to tune in right here next Monday, August

7th for the premiere of my travel food show, Gemma Eats…

Did you hear that…Kevin.

We need to get on that.

Start vlogging.

I know.

Maybe we'll do a travel series…we're thinking of doing something like that…

Plains of Eidolon Release Date, Umbra 2018? - Devstream 96 Recap N Review [Warframe] - Duration: 3:41.

Ahoy thar, Legion!

Tis the Monday after a Devstream and ya know we gotta Recap N' Review for ya!

Devstream 96 was all about Plains of Eidolon, the work that went into it, when we can expect

it to arrive, and what will and will not make the cut.

As for the "will not", lemme just rip that bandaid clean off here and say squads are

gonna be capped at 4.

I want to talk about this in depth but that's more for another video so, just know that

they know we want a fully fledged free roam zone, it looks like they want that as well,

but for launch Plains of Eidolon will have squads.

That settled, let's start with the most pressing news first, the release time frame.

Off camera at TennoCon DE said they thought earliest August and latest October sounded

right, and this was confirmed here as a mid September release is what they are officially

aiming for.

Of course all hands will be on deck to get this new venture out so Umbra and the Sarcrifice

quest will arrive after.

That's a mighty tight window before early December when the company tends to take a few weeks off,

so if Plains gets delayed in any way, odds aren't great Umbra's gonna drop 2017

for PC, let alone for Console Squad o.o;

Unlike the cinematic quests that have some fairly long play time requirements to unlock

them, Plains is gonna be very New Player friendly in that it'll be available likely right as

you finish off Vor's Prize.

They want people to get into this as soon as possible and confirmed it will be on Earth.

Of course they want the ol' vets to have something to enjoy as well, so they are goin' with the

day night cycle to split the content from easy to hard.

They jokingly envisioned a new player walking around town noticing more and more high level

players appearing as nightfall creeps in.

Time will apparently be synced for everyone, but they aren't set on a four hour cycle or

if players can opt out of the nightfall gameplay in some way, which would be wise as new players

would just twiddle thumbs for a few hours there.

Speaking of opting out, DE showcased a Play the Stalker mode where you can Dark Souls-like

jump into a mission and hunt players down as the Stalker himself.

While entertainign to watch, they know pvp is not the focus of the game and have said

whenever it gets added, you have to opt in to have this happen.

Could make for some funny twitch clips when it does though!

Clearing some things up about the town vendors in Cetus,

bird pets are not confirmed and based on the art director's reaction they had no plans

in motion to do so.

Also the fish heads we could supposedly buy are an aspect of fishing as you purchase infested

creatures and maggots to use as bait.

As for the melee weapon crafting, you can choose from a blade, a hilt, and a weight

which affects the stats of the finished product, from status to crit and so on.

Initially players can easily mix and match parts till they find one they like and then,

through some process of town reputation and quote "a deeper commitment",

you can craft it into a Mastered version that will be better and give actual mastery.

For Mastery Rank collection-a-holics out there, the blades themselves are what you'll be lookin'

at, the hilts and weights don't factor into it none.

Of course Melee Rivens were brought up, so ya can expect to see those when the time comes,

too.

We got a glimpse at Grineer Ghouls AKA Pudge,

the new polearm stance, and that the AI will be getting smarter in that,

if players attempt to play keep away with enemies via ArchWing, they'll send in special

reinforcements to shoot ya out of the sky, which is a nice touch.

We're still a few months out from release but I like what we've seen so far.

Would prefer free roam but net code can be a problem so as long as they are workin' towards

that, I'm happy enough.

Got a certain spicy Space Ninja due next Monday many folks were missing, but until then,

thank-you for watching and catch you next time, Legion!

Take care!

Deconstructing Ori and the Blind Forest's Best Bit | Game Maker's Toolkit - Duration: 8:50.

Pretty much everyone who has played Ori and Blind Forest, will give you the same answer

when you ask them about their favourite part from the game.

It's the Ginso Tree.

It's one of the three main levels in this gorgeous platforming Metroidvania, and it's

kinda like the combination between a Zelda dungeon and a Super Meat Boy level, in that

it introduces you to one of the game's core abilities - but tests you on it through a

gauntlet of tricky platforming challenges.

In this video, I want to break down the Ginso Tree, beat by beat, to reveal how this one

area in the game shows off the power and adaptability of Ori's best mechanic, before finishing

off with a memorable set piece sequence that sidesteps a lot of the traps that these cinematic

moments can fall into.

I'm Mark Brown, this is Game Maker's Toolkit, and here's how the Ginso Tree works.

Before we get to that new ability - the first half of the tree is there to really hammer

home what Ori can do with his current set of moves - which include a double jump, a wall

jump, and his spirit flame attack.

So we start with a tricky platforming section, with lots of wall-jumping and double-jumping

between hanging platforms, and using these new - and rather disorienting - portals to

whip around the screen.

Then we have a section that involves some puzzle solving.

We need to redirect this monster's projectile to smash through these splintered trees, by

using these cornered portals to change the direction of the bullet.

Next, we shift to a combat arena, where we have to use Ori's flame attack to destroy

these gross slug things.

And finally, another platforming section where we're jumping through portals and avoiding

spikes - this time with four keys to collect.

Now, with Ori's current moveset thoroughly tested, it's time to grab that new ability:

Bash.

This move lets Ori snap on to lanterns, projectiles and enemies, before choosing a direction and

firing off like a rocket.

It's essentially the game's signature move and - if you ask me - it belongs in the

pantheon of great game mechanics, alongside reverts in Tony Hawk's, High Time in Devil

May Cry, and more.

Look, I've got video material for years. You're never getting rid of me.

Anyway. The move is great for so many reasons.

For one, it gives you another way to stay in the air, which is when Ori is at its absolute best.

The game's floaty physics can make precision platforming tricky, but the game feels great

when you're chaining moves to stay airborne.

But Bash is not some instantly accessible action, like a double jump, because you need to skilfully

manoeuvre yourself into the right spot, to pull it off.

Bash also connects platforming and combat,

so that might involve bashing an enemy into some spikes, or returning an enemy's projectile

right back into their squishy face.

Either way, it's a lot better than Ori's standard combat.

Unless you're really into hitting the X button a lot.

It also gives you two things to think about.

When you bash off a projectile, the bullet will fire one way and Ori will jet off in

the opposite direction.

So you need to consider both, or you might accidentally ping Ori into some spikes.

And the way time slows down gives you a moment to think and pick the perfect direction.

You can bash off in all 360 degrees, after all, which makes the ability so expressive.

But this time-stop doesn't break the flow of the game.

In fact, that moment almost serves to emphasise the action.

The contrast between the static build-up, and the resulting rush of speed, just makes

it oh-so satisfying.

Like a catapult.

And so, because it's so adaptable, Bash recontextualises everything you've seen before.

Projectiles and enemies, which one were once something to be avoided, are now a key part

of your platforming, combat, and puzzle-solving skill set.

And what better way to prove all this, than to take everything you did in the first half

of the Ginso Tree - and repeat it, but now with the Bash move under your belt.

So we have another platforming section, but this time we can use Bash to leapfrog over projectiles.

Then we get a repeat of that puzzle where we needed to redirect a projectile into a

tree - but this time we can just use Bash to quickly fire it in the right direction.

Also, the slug-like enemies from the combat arena return, but now we can see how their

barf bombs can be used to our advantage.

We next have another platforming section with keys, just like before.

But bashing off the lanterns significantly changes how the area plays out.

And finally, there's another combat arena, and this time the only way to win is to use

bash to fire back projectiles.

Also, here's a perfect moment to learn about that whole catapulting Ori into spikes thing.

When we move up to the top of the tree, we get two more tests.

To the right, is a final puzzle challenge.

We need to bring a projectile from here...

...to here, using both Bash and those cornered portals from earlier.

You'll need to observe the level layout, defeat enemies, and avoid getting hit by the

projectile yourself.

And on the left, we have a challenge that combines all of the bash uses.

There's some platforming, some combat, and some puzzle solving all in one room.

And now it's time for the grand finale.

The Ginso Tree escape.

This is a climactic, white knuckle, set-piece challenge.

It's Ori's version of a boss battle and the real test of your new ability.

You'll need to use bash again and again to overcome a non-stop gauntlet of projectiles

and enemies, all while a great jet of water is nipping at your heels.

Now the problem with this sort of set-piece moment is that if you screw them up, it completely

breaks the illusion.

It's like cut cut cut, let's go again, places people, and action!

You know, the cool moment just kinda gets ruined.

You can make them very easy so the player is unlikely to screw it up, but then it's

all spectacle, no substance.

That's not the case here - the escape from the Ginso Tree is tough and you will likely

fail more than once.

But Ori does a few clever things to stop the sequence from breaking apart.

One is that restarting is instant, with no loading screens or cutscenes.

If you fail, you just go again.

Two, is that the music, which is incredible by the way, doesn't reset, it just keeps

going which makes failed attempts flow together as part of the set piece.

And three is that there are no checkpoints.

Which means when you do succeed, you will have successfully done about a minute of unbroken

platforming challenges.

This wasn't a war of attrition though checkpoints, or some flashy pseudo cutscene, or some low

stakes smoke and mirrors.

It was real gameplay with the threat of death at your back and you nailed it!

Ori is never really better than during the Ginso Tree.

Sure, the later dungeons - Forlorn Ruins and Mount Horu - are also well designed.

And you'll get to use your new Bash ability throughout the adventure in even more difficult

and exciting scenarios.

But, the game has its issues.

The Metroidvania structure mostly just leads to backtracking and confusion, rather than

navigational joy.

The challenge is all over the place with frustrating difficulty spikes.

And because Moon Studios keeps chucking new mechanics on top of old ones, the game starts

to lose some of the elegance found in the moveset you had during the Ginso Tree.

By the end of the game you can charge jump, triple jump, wall jump, climb up walls and

then fire off them, stomp, bash, attack, do a charge burst, and float with a feather.

And if you've got the Definitive Edition, you can also dash and throw out a ball of light.

It gets to the point where almost every button on the controller does something new, resulting

in a finger-fumbling exercise in frustration as half the challenge is just remembering

which button does what.

But still, Ori is a great game and I would recommend it.

Especially for the Ginso Tree which confidently shows off the brilliance of the Bash move

by showing you what you can do without it, what you can do with it, and then putting

your new-found skills to the ultimate test in a memorable set-piece moment.

Who knows what Moon Studios has cooked up for the sequel to Ori and the Blind Forest,

but I know I'll be checking it out.

Hey there, thanks for watching.

Also if the stuff about Zelda dungeons and keys in this video made you think about Boss Keys,

don't worry. It's coming back soon.

Mother & daughter resemble each other even in the midst of conflict. [Hello Counselor / 2017.07.31] - Duration: 11:16.

Your daughter really seems to love her dogs.

I don't think sending them away is the answer.

What do you think?

I'd like to spend more time with her,

but she only cares about the dogs.

I've never gone shopping with her.

We stopped going to the public bath together.

She won't answer my calls anymore.

Your calls?

Then I would send her messages.

But she never answers. I would send 10 messages.

She reads them, but she doesn't answer?

So I ask her why she doesn't reply back.

Then all she writes is "yes."

That means she wants to start a fight.

Are you mad at her about something?

I was born during the financial crisis in Korea.

I grew up watching my parents struggle with money.

I never got their love and care when I needed them.

I was raised by other people.

Because they were busy working.

Don't you feel as though you should be good to them

since they raised you through such hardship?

I'm only 21 years old, but I'm a manager.

I have to take care of my staff members

and I must go out on business dinners often.

But she won't acknowledge that.

She didn't let me hang out with my friends.

She was quite strict on me.

I was isolated from my friends.

She always sends you

negative messages?

Why aren't you home?

Not even that. "What the hell are you doing?"

Since she is always so negative,

I don't answer her calls or reply to her texts.

Do you want to spend time with your mom

and show affections to each other?

I do, but...

You're not used to it?

I'm not used to it. We've hurt each other a lot.

So we stopped communicating.

I think the two of them failed

to form a bond in the past.

This is the problem.

That's why she's so obsessed with dogs.

Mom never let her hang out with friends.

Her parents were busy so she turned to her dogs.

Or I was by myself.

My dogs are on my side.

My dogs were the only ones I could turn to.

They always greet her with joy.

How do you feel after listening to your daughter?

We were broke during the financial crisis.

Then there were several public health scares

that made us struggle with our sushi business.

Things were tough, but she wanted to learn acting.

Her acting class cost $1,000. I had to get loans.

The debt kept piling up.

I'm sure she had a hard time growing up.

But until she graduated high school

I fed her and dried her hair myself.

I only slept 3 hours a day.

- Do you remember that? / - Of course, she does.

You can't find a mom like her.

It's true, right?

Yes, I think so, but...

But it doesn't really come to me.

I was born and raised on the island Chujado.

Because it's an island, the people...

They tend to speak quite harshly.

I am quite curt when I speak,

but I really love her.

I was born on an island called Anmyeondo.

Islanders don't speak long.

It's too windy. So we tend to speak briefly.

Because of the wind?

Dad. Lunch.

Ma'am. A meal. Like this.

Why do you always talk about eating?

Eating is quite important.

Other family members didn't come today?

My husband and her sister had to work.

My neighbor came with us.

- Your neighbor? / - Neighbor.

Hello.

You live next-door to her?

No, I don't.

I've known her for 9 years now.

We are closer than family.

I tutored her when she was in middle school.

What did you tutor?

I'm a science teacher.

I know about the two more than anyone else.

You would be objective as a third person.

Whose concern is bigger in your opinion?

Of course, the mom's concern is bigger.

She was being so absurd so I wanted to butt in,

but I've been holding it back.

You can go ahead and say everything now.

She hasn't spoken much,

but I can tell that she's a teacher.

She may look quite difficult,

but she isn't like that at all.

We didn't think that way about her at all.

She has lived all her life for her family.

She finished her work around 2 to 3 a.m.

She does housework for 2 hours after that.

She has to clean up after the dogs.

She would sleep around 4 and get up at 6 a.m.

to cook breakfast for her children.

Since she is so busy taking care of everything,

she is nicknamed a general hospital.

She isn't so healthy.

She goes to more than 2 hospitals every week.

She made an appointment last week

because she had a severe headache.

The MRI showed that she has a vascular problem.

That's tough.

She once had an appendectomy.

So I went to see her the next day.

- But she already discharged herself. / - The next day?

You're supposed to rest for at least 3 days.

She was already working at the restaurant.

After a few days, her wound opened up

so she went through a hard time.

Did you know that your mother is ill?

Yes, I knew.

Since I work as well,

I get bloody noses often and migraines, too.

I fainted many times while working, too.

That doesn't mean it's okay that your mom is sick.

That's not it. It's just that I've been busy, too.

Listen up.

You really love your dogs, right?

But you need money to take care of them.

So in order to do so, you are busy with work.

You don't get to spend much time with them.

Your dogs grow up in the future.

You fed them top quality food,

but all your dogs say later that

they feel as though they were never loved.

It's not fair, right?

It's the same thing.

Your mom feels the same way.

Why do you work so much?

You have three jobs. Why is that?

I grew up watching my parents struggle with money.

It is my goal to earn money

while I'm young and live comfortably later.

That's why I try to save up money.

The society I saw wasn't easy.

On my payday, my family asks me for money.

I'm just money to my family.

My sister asks me for money, too.

It drives me crazy.

We were always short of money.

To me, it looks like she spends too much on the dogs.

I'm afraid she would spend too much of her money.

So you're taking care of her finances.

I wouldn't spend her money for myself.

I can take care of my finances well on my own.

I have many savings accounts.

She's worried over nothing?

This is what she told me once.

"I wish I could sleep all year long to rest."

I was shocked when I heard that.

How hard it must be for her to say that.

It is quite shocking for parents to hear that.

I told her to quit her jobs if it's too tough.

I told her, "I believe in you."

"Don't say things like that."

She just sighed and cried.

I was quite heartbroken to see that.

I went into my room and cried.

It's quite sad because we understand both of you.

This may look like a dog problem, but it's not.

You don't seem to be raising dogs

and working so hard because you have a goal.

You're just working hard to deny reality.

You seem to be heartbroken.

Are you happy with your life?

Not really.

I thought so.

What would you like to say to her?

I wish she would reduce her workload

and go to a public bath with me sometimes.

Talk to her directly.

I'd like to spend more time with you.

I want you to share your concerns with me,

the ones you can't share with dad.

I'll always love you.

Please, tell us what you think.

You think it's a concern.

This is a fact. If everyone here says bad things

to your mom,

I'm sure you will take your mom's side.

If everyone here badmouths you,

your mom will definitely take your side.

That won't change.

I think it's a concern, too.

I think it's a concern, too.

Making the dogs unhappy

in order for you to be happy

is a concern from your dogs' point of view.

Please press the button if you can relate to it.

(What does the audience think?)

5, 4, 3, 2, 1.

Time's up.

Why don't you say a word to your mother?

Talk to her.

I will take the time to go shopping with you

and go to public baths with you.

I'll try to become a friendlier daughter.

How nice.

I will work harder.

That's great.

Why don't you take the dogs for a walk together?

Let's see how many votes they got.

Please show us the result.

"Dog problems."

It ends with "1."

It would be great if the dogs could talk.

It must be a great concern for them.

131 votes.

(They got 131 votes)

How to Understand Extroverts - Duration: 9:14.

Hey,

Help me please!

Why are you lying on the floor

inside here?

Because Fernando told me

that I had to fall in this clip

and I wasn't gonna fall on the street

were I could get run over.

But hurry

and come help me please!

Relax, we're on it.

Yeah.

Uhh,

it seems you broke your leg.

No...

What do we do?

Mmm...

I'll search on YouTube,

No! What are you doing? No!

Hey Grisela,

did you watch the new Jovenes 360's video?

Yeah,

actually, I watched it today on the bus

because I had to go downtown to buy.

Did you find the tomatoes?

Yes but they were too small because--

Hey!

I don't feel my other leg anymore,

Focus!

Relax.

Relax?

You are searching videos on YouTube

and I don't feel my arms anymore!

Call 911 instead!

Hey, take it easy.

I don't feel my tongue--

Don't be so drama--

I don--

She passed out!

So... I was telling you the tomatoes were--

I don'--

Let's go!

Last video we talked about Introverts

and that being introverted isn't wrong.

And now because you've watched it--

Wait,

You watched it right?

If you haven't

I'll give you some minutes to watch it.

Alright,

in this moment...

in this moment I forgot my line...

Now that you watched it,

we're gonna talk about the

extroverts and what they do.

Ahhh, extroverts,

those being who love talking,

meeting new people,

hanging out.

Boo!

Extroverts are

inconsiderate and abusive

always stealing introvert's peace,

why can't they be quieter and less crazy?

Noo!

We all need each other,

we can't exclude people

just because they do or don't talk a lot.

Grisela, look--

If you're gonna talk go away.

But--

Go seat!

But--

No, we're leaving then.

But your car is being stolen.

Should've said that first!

I thought the guy was washing it.

In life we'll find

a great variety of people.

Talktative, quiet,

not so talkative, not so quiet,

which are the same...

And we have to interact with them

if we wanna advance through life.

This is why it's better

to try to understand them

and get along.

So we'll give you some tips

about how extroverts act

and what to do.

How to understand an Extrovert.

First of all,

opposite from introverts,

extroverts like to talk a lot.

They especially like to share

what they've lived

what they've done,

and their experiences.

And they share every little detail,

they're very specific,

so you need to have a lot of patience.

*on the phone* Aha, yeah, give me a moment.

Grisela, fast, what do you wanna eat?

Pizza or hamburger?

It's a tough question, I'm not sure,

I think I prefer pizza.

Ok.

No, wait!

Last week I ate pizza

and I like it but,

I don't know,

it's a debate whether to eat it or not

because one day I was at Margarita's house,

I took the opportunity to go

because it wasn't raining.

The call is still running!

Wait,

I was saying,

I went home after work

and I needed to pick a coat

but mine was dirty

so I went to take my brother's

but he said "No, don't take mine"

so I couldn't take it.

I asked if you wanted pizza or hamburger,

not if you are a sluggard

who doesn't wash her clothes!

Hey!

I'm going there,

after arguing I went to Margarita's house

and I said

"I wanna eat pizza with you"

but she said "No, we have no money"

so I said

"You know what?

do something productive,

for the country,

like selling lemons

that are expensive nowadays".

Hey,

don't go!

I need to explain you that due to

lemons being expensive

global warming has increased

and we can't eat pizza.

If you have extrovert friends

it's important to visit

and hang out with them.

Because they love hanging out,

being in activities

with lots of people

and going with people everywhere.

It lifts their spirit

because they feel weird doing things solo.

What Grisela?

Didn't I tell you to clean this alone?

Not to ask the help of that old man,

who can barely hold himself,

and that kid!

It was for you, alone, be conscious.

Alex, the broom!

Something that gets extroverts in trouble

is that they feel good

meeting new people

and getting new friends.

And don't misunderstand us,

that is good,

but the problem is that many times

people see it diferently.

They think they're either nosey

or are flirting

when in reality it is not that,

although sometimes it is,

but most of the time it isn't.

Well,

time to do new friends,

this is so exciting.

Hi, how are you doing?

How are we doing?

You are nosey aren't you?

No.

You came because you heard

that Anthony drank a juice

that didn't sit well right?

No, I didn't know.

Just for us to tell you

that he spent 2 hours in the toilet right?

Yeah, let's leave!

Yes, and leave me

and Anthony's stomachache alone!

Hi, I'm Franklin.

And I'm not available.

You aren't what?

Yeah,

stop flirting with me!

But I haven't...

Then why did you came to talk

specifically to me?

Maybe because there is nobody

else around?

More evidence of what I say!

Leave before I report you for harassment.

- But I haven't done anything! - Hello, yes?

I want to report a harasser,

he is black haired,

white,

and a bit ugly.

He looks like a thief

and a kidnapper

and I think he hasn't bathed,

he smells bad.

There are more things we could say.

Like saying extroverts like

visiting new places,

that they sometimes say things

they later feel ashamed of,

that they get distracted easi...

Hey, a butterfly...

But if we speak about all of that

the video will get too long

so Fernando will have

to edit for hours and hours

and he won't sleep.

Yeah!

So...

Look,

If you wanna understand extroverts

just remember

that they like to speak a lot

and to hang out with people.

At the end of the day

the best secret to understand somebody is

To be honest and talk.

We could have summarized

both videos into this right?

One last detail

whether you are introvert or extrovert,

it's good being that way,

but,

we need to seek for balance.

Everything needs balance,

if we go to extremes

we'll close the doors

of many opportunities.

Because it's fine to be quiet

but sometimes we need to talk to people

to do some things.

And it's ok to be talkative,

but we need to focus

and simplify what we say.

So,

remember to talk to those

you wanna understand,

don't exclude someone because

they are talkative or quiet

and remember to seek balance.

Blessings, Let's Impact in 360°.

"'In the same way that you want other people to do things to you, do things to other people."

Cameras,

and action!

Everything needs balance,

if we go to extremes we're gonna...

So, remember to talk

with those you wanna understand,

don't exclude someone

because he talks...

the fly!

Will we ever be able to teleport? - Sajan Saini - Duration: 5:38.

Is teleportation possible?

Could a baseball transform into something like a radio wave,

travel through buildings,

bounce around corners,

and change back into a baseball?

Oddly enough, thanks to quantum mechanics, the answer might actually be yes.

Sort of.

Here's the trick.

The baseball itself couldn't be sent by radio,

but all the information about it could.

In quantum physics, atoms and electrons

are interpreted as a collection of distinct properties,

for example, position,

momentum,

and intrinsic spin.

The values of these properties configure the particle,

giving it a quantum state identity.

If two electrons have the same quantum state,

they're identical.

In a literal sense, our baseball is defined by a collective quantum state

resulting from its many atoms.

If this quantum state information could be read in Boston

and sent around the world,

atoms for the same chemical elements could have this information

imprinted on them in Bangalore

and be carefully directed to assemble,

becoming the exact same baseball.

There's a wrinkle though.

Quantum states aren't so easy to measure.

The uncertainty principle in quantum physics

implies the position and momentum of a particle

can't be measured at the same time.

The simplest way to measure the exact position of an electron

requires scattering a particle of light, a photon, from it,

and collecting the light in a microscope.

But that scattering changes the momentum of the electron in an unpredictable way.

We lose all previous information about momentum.

In a sense, quantum information is fragile.

Measuring the information changes it.

So how can we transmit something

we're not permitted to fully read without destroying it?

The answer can be found in the strange phenomena of quantum entanglement.

Entanglement is an old mystery from the early days of quantum physics

and it's still not entirely understood.

Entangling the spin of two electrons results in an influence

that transcends distance.

Measuring the spin of the first electron

determines what spin will measure for the second,

whether the two particles are a mile or a light year apart.

Somehow, information about the first electron's quantum state,

called a qubit of data,

influences its partner without transmission across the intervening space.

Einstein and his colleagues called this strange communcation

spooky action at a distance.

While it does seem that entanglement between two particles

helps transfer a qubit instantaneously across the space between them,

there's a catch.

This interaction must begin locally.

The two electrons must be entangled in close proximity

before one of them is transported to a new site.

By itself, quantum entanglement isn't teleportation.

To complete the teleport,

we need a digital message to help interpret the qubit at the receiving end.

Two bits of data created by measuring the first particle.

These digital bits must be transmitted by a classical channel

that's limited by the speed of light, radio, microwaves, or perhaps fiberoptics.

When we measure a particle for this digital message,

we destroy its quantum information,

which means the baseball must disappear from Boston

for it to teleport to Bangalore.

Thanks to the uncertainty principle,

teleportation transfers the information about the baseball

between the two cities and never duplicates it.

So in principle, we could teleport objects, even people,

but at present, it seems unlikely we can measure the quantum states

of the trillion trillion or more atoms in large objects

and then recreate them elsewhere.

The complexity of this task and the energy needed is astronomical.

For now, we can reliably teleport single electrons and atoms,

which may lead to super-secured data encryption

for future quantum computers.

The philosophical implications of quantum teleportation are subtle.

A teleported object doesn't exactly transport across space

like tangible matter,

nor does it exactly transmit across space, like intangible information.

It seems to do a little of both.

Quantum physics gives us a strange new vision

for all the matter in our universe as collections of fragile information.

And quantum teleportation reveals new ways to influence this fragility.

And remember, never say never.

In a little over a century,

mankind has advanced from an uncertain new understanding

of the behavior of electrons at the atomic scale

to reliably teleporting them across a room.

What new technical mastery of such phenomena

might we have in 1,000, or even 10,000 years?

Only time and space will tell.

How To Keep Socks Up All Day & Why Yours Are Sliding Down - Duration: 8:09.

Welcome back to the Gentleman's Gazette!

In today's video, we discuss how to prevent dress socks or socks of any kind from sliding

down your calves.

In another recent video, we discussed how to prevent shirts from coming untucked and

another really popular question we get asked all the time is "How do I stop my socks from

bunching up on my ankles or in my shoes?" and "Why do my socks slide down and how can

I stop that?"

In today's video, we'll give you a definitive answer, and we'll explain to you what you

should look for and what you should avoid, so you always have socks that stay up and

look dapper.

First of all, why do you want socks that don't slide down?

Reason number 1, and I always hated that myself is when socks slide down and they bunch up

in your shoe, it's extremely uncomfortable especially when you walk and that usually

happens when you are at a trade show when you walk a lot and then you constantly have

to stop, pull up your socks, open your shoes, get them back down, so it's a hassle, and

it's just really uncomfortable and your feet hurt at the end of the day.

Reason number 2 is no one wants to see your hairy calves.

It's unprofessional, and traditionally, dapper gentlemen would always have over the calf

socks that would not expose any kind of skin.

Now, even if you shave your legs, you still don't want to expose skin unless it's maybe

a hot summer day and you are wearing a pair of seersucker pants with boat shoes or driving

mocs, but that's a whole different game.

When in a professional setting, an office setting, in a business meeting, or even on

a date, keep it over the calf or keep your ankles not exposed.

How do socks stay up?

Basically, there are three main characteristics to consider.

The most important thing in keeping your socks up is length.

If you compare these two socks, they are both over the calf but one is actually three inches

longer than the other, and they are actually the same size.

Now, obviously, over the calf is not over the calf.

Unfortunately, most men's dress socks are only mid calf or shorter, and those socks

will always slide down no matter what you do with them unless you go to a different

solution like shirt suspenders and we talk about them in a second.

You cannot beat gravity with anything other than a sock that reaches just below your knee

and over your calf because what you want to achieve is that your sock hugs your leg at

the thinnest point, so your calf below it gets wider.

If your socks are below it, it has that kind of shape and it goes down and will help gravity,

and the socks will slide down.

The second most important reason is elastics.

You can get cheap elastics, you can get more high-quality elastics, and the amount differs

as well.

For example, here you have a relatively short amount of elastic.

On this sock here, your elastic goes all the way from the top down to here, and it helps

keep the sock together, so they stay up better.

At the same time, you want a sock that is not constricting.

Cheaper socks usually come with a cheaper, stronger elastic but it's actually so strong

that it pulls down your sock because it's not perfectly sized for your foot.

At Fort Belvedere, we really like natural materials, and we always try to stay away

from nylons or polyesters or anything artificial, however, with socks, you need them to stay

up.

What we did though is that we used a nylon and we covered it in cotton, so your skin

will only be in touch with cotton and never touch the elastic.

That way, you get the feel of natural fibers and the benefit of elastics, so your socks

stay up all day long.

It actually took me quite a while to come up with this solution because a few years

ago, I was fed up with all over the calf socks I wore and they would still slide down and

so it took a little while to really perfect the solution but the socks that we have now,

we have tested for over three years, and they haven't failed me, and I know they won't fail

you either.

The third reason why socks slide down is having the wrong size.

Most socks today come either in small, medium, or large, or sometimes you find dress socks

such as this pair which comes in size 8-12, that's just a range that is way too big and

as such, they need more elastics, more nylon, so it pulls harder.

It will feel less comfortable on your foot, and it also has that tendency to pull your

sock down especially on the foot area where you walk a lot, and that causes it to slide

down.

Just look at the difference of my size 11 foot.

Here we have size 8-12, and here we have a properly sized 11 sock that is exactly made

for my foot, and it won't slide down.So the more sizes you can have, the better because

it really works for your foot.

So whenever you see dress socks that are less than four sizes, skip them and go with something

that has more sizes because otherwise, it won't fit you and you will have problems with

the socks sliding down.

So in conclusion, if you want socks that don't slide down, you have to buy quality over the

calf dress socks with the right amount of elastic in the right size.

Now, if you already have a lot of short socks in your wardrobe and you don't want to replace

all of them or if you are a vintage lover, you should consider sock garters.

They are also sometimes called shirt or socks suspenders, and there are different variations.

Some of them are actually held in place over your knee or sometimes under your knee, and

it's basically a little clip mechanism such as with a clip on pair of braces or suspenders.

Other models actually attach to the bottom of your shirt and connect to your socks however,

I personally find it extremely uncomfortable to wear them also, they show if you have a

thinner fabric for your pants and overall, I'm a very minimalistic person so I try to

get the best stuff I can without having to overload my outfit and what is underneath

of it because comfort is important and the way you look and feel.

Just like with "menswear innovations" oftentimes, they fix a problem that you would not have

if you buy quality items, to begin with.

Remember the video about how to get a shirt that stays tucked in?

Please watch it, and it says the exact same thing.

Sometimes, you'll also find tie dimples in all kinds of shirt stays; you won't need those

if you simply have a proper piece of clothing in the first place.

And that's what we're here to tell you about because we teach you about quality so you

can distinguish crap from good stuff without looking at the label.

So at the end of the day, it's up to you whether you want sock suspenders that definitely work.

However, they feel not so well on your skin, and I find them extremely uncomfortable, or

you go with a quality pair of socks, you skip the suspenders and also just imagine you're

on a date and you go home feeling like James Bond.

You want to prevent the situation where you actually look like an old grandpa with sock

suspenders.

Chances are, she won't be impressed.

slide down, please have a look at our shop where you can find our Fort Belvedere socks.

Time Management Techniques for Leaders - 5 Tips for Building a Battle Rhythm - Duration: 7:42.

Is your team struggling to get to their work done in the time you've got available?

Today we're going to help you build a battle rhythm that will make each day a

success! Welcome back and congratulations on taking one more step towards becoming

one of the great leaders of tomorrow. If managing our own time is hard, helping

our team manage their time to be successful can be even more difficult.

Today I've got five tips for you that will help you build a battle rhythm on

your team to make each day a success. And stay tuned to the end. I'm going to give

you a link where you can download our free leadership development plan

workbook and that will help you set your goals for the next two, five and ten

years and build a plan of action to achieve them. If you know anybody who's

in the military or has been in the military for any length of time, you've

probably heard them talk about the idea of a battle rhythm. And battle rhythm was

something I'd heard of the first ten or so years of my career, but never

really got to experience until I got to the Air Operations Center and started to

work with the daily planning cycle that we have there in the AOC. And I wanted to

look up a good, official definition for you guys to talk about battle rhythm, but

I couldn't find a really good, official definition that I thought really brought

the concept home for you, so I'm just going to stick with my Air Operations

Center example. And when we were in the AOC we would work every day, we'd be

planning the next days events so there's actually a 72-hour cycle but really for

simplicity sake we were basically planning the next day's events of what

missions were going to get flown and who was going to fly them and what all the

air air components and air forces in the theater were going to do that day. And we

were doing all that at the same time that we were doing command and control,

executing command and control on today's missions. And if it sounds like a lot of

moving parts in this planning cycle, this execution cycle, it was. But it workdd

because we had a battle rhythm, we had a plan going into making the plan everyday

and executing the plan everyday. The five tips I'm going to give you today are

going to help you take a look at the activities on your team and see if

there's a way you can build a plan to go into the plan everyday or a plan to go

into each day to really optimize your your time and your team's time and make

sure that you can get everything done that you need to get done. The first

thing you've got to do is map out your team's inputs and outputs. You've got to

have a really good handle on what's coming

in and what you have to put out. If those things don't match up, you're going to

have a really hard time. If your team is getting inputs in that don't that don't

cover all the things you have to put out in your output, your team is either going to

have to spend a lot of time chasing down those inputs and getting them to come,

getting them to come in the right way, or they're going to have to spend a lot of

time doing the research and the work figure out what you need to go into the

output. Now if that's part of your team's job. that's okay. You may have to take

some inputs and analyze or synthesize those and then turn those into outputs

and that's your team's job and that's great. But if you're not getting the

inputs in, the input information and you need to do your job to create the output

to need correctly, it's going to be a lot of extra work for your team, and that

could be where a lot of your team's time is going every day. So get a really good

handle on the inputs and outputs as the start of developing your battle rhythm.

Tip number two is to identify the tasks that go along with the inputs and the

outputs. And this may sound a little backwards, because most of what you do

and your team does every day is tasks. But the reason I didn't mention this first,

is that a lot of times, the tasks we're currently doing may no longer be aligned

with the inputs and the outputs. We might be doing things that are extra that we

don't need to do anymore or we might not be doing enough things

when we do the output the first time where we come back we have to do some

rework later on. So taking a good look at the tasks that go, that are necessary to

go along with the inputs of the outputs might be a place where you can

save some time on your team. It will also give you an idea of what

tasks might be able to be done simultaneously instead of sequentially,

or how you might be able to interleave the task to go along with the inputs and the

outputs between your different team members. So you can really be much more

optimal with your team members time. Tip number three is to assess how long it

actually takes to do each task and it's important to have a really good handle

on this because some days inputs come in late and some days the deadline for

outputs get moved up early and a lot of times those happen to be the same day for

various coincidental reasons. And that's really frustrating to deal with, so

understanding how long it takes one person or even a team of people on your

team to do each task will give you a lot more flexibility when real-world events

pop up and you have to make a decision on how do we get our daily tasks done

while still responding to this one-off thing that popped up. And it's also going

to give you a little bit of insight, once you understand

how long the task really takes to do. This gives you a little bit of insight

into if I need to do this task quickly, can I throw more people at it or is it

one of those things where actually putting more people on it will actually

make it take longer because of the confusion, the learning curve going on. So

get a really good handle on how long it takes your team to do each task in a

normal day situation. Tip number four is to map it all out. I'm a really visual

person, so laying these kinds of things like inputs and outputs and task

durations on a calendar is very helpful for me to get an idea of the

interactions between those things. Take the case of if I get a deadline at noon,

I get the inputs at 11:00, and it takes my team three hours to get something

done, now I'm already starting at a two hour disadvantage when that input comes

in. So I've got to figure something out here, whether it's to go negotiate the

input or the output or how many, or decide I can put more people on this

task to get it done in just an hour, That's a little bit of an extreme case,

and I'm not saying go out and map every minute of every day for each of your

team members, but having a really good understanding of inputs outputs and task

durations will give you a good idea of how you can go through and either,

renegotiate input deadlines, output deadlines, or make smart decisions about

how many people you put on a task and which people you put on a task depending

on how important it is. The last tip I have for you today, and this one's really

important, is once you've got the battle rhythm figured out go communicate with

your team. Set those expectations. Show them how the inputs, outputs and the

tasks align and show them where they've got flexibility to make choices as long

as they make the output deadline. It's always a good idea to go talk to the

people who are actually doing the tasks and make sure you've got a good handle

on how long the task takes. So go communicate that to your team, get

their input and if you have to make a few changes so that you can make some

tasks interleave a little better or make some things work simultaneously instead

of sequentially, that their info can be valuable to make that battle rhythm work

even more smoothly as you carry it forward. Now we've talked about this in

such a way that it's a daily battle rhythm, and don't worry about it if your team

doesn't have a daily rhythm. You may go look at your inputs and your outputs in

your task and you may not see a correlation to a day. Your time scale

maybe a longer time scale or maybe a shorter time scale, but more likely it's

probably longer. Your time scale for inputs, outputs and tasks may be more

like something like a week or a month or an even longer time

scale especially if you're doing creative work or project-based work. But

these tips will still work for you. So go take a look at your inputs and outputs

and then see what kind of time scale that correlates to, whether the daily,

weekly, monthly or even on a project basis. Once you have a good handle on

those inputs and outputs, now you can work with your team to develop that rhythm to

meet that time scale no matter what it is. If you found this helpful please like,

Warrior A & Warrior B - Duration: 2:27.

Hi my name's Nicole, and I'm one of the teachers at Sumits Yoga Happy Valley and I'm going to be

showing you just a quick introduction getting ready for an alignment workshop that I'm teaching

on Saturday August 5th.

So I'd like to show how to transition from Warrior A to Warrior B. So starting in a downward

dog position separating those feet just hip width apart, nice strong downward dog shoulders

roll down the back gaze is just looking towards that back wall and again the heels coming

close to the mat, they don't have to touch the mat.

So nice deep inhale as you lift the left leg up, toes are flexed look forward as you step

it through squeezing that knee close to the chest coming into a lunge position now maybe

shifting forward and back just to open up the hips and then taking that right foot down

at a 45 degree angle keep the tailbone tucked and on an inhale the arms are going to reach

out and up gaze is up shoulders are down the back you want to keep that tailbone tucked

left knee moving towards that left pinkie toe shoulders are down the back let your heart

be nice and light and lifted take a deep inhale now transitioning to Warrior B on your exhale

the arms are going to open out and nice and wide shoulders are coming down the back heart

is lifted tailbone is tucked and again the left knee is moving towards that left pinkie

toe and you want to keep your pelvis in a neutral position a lot of people think that

the hips have to be square that's not true you want to push through that right outer

foot and push forward with your left foot so like your tearing the mat in the middle

deep inhale and then exhale circle the hands down step that left foot back and your going

to slowly move through your flow

coming right back to a downward dog position.

And then that was the transition just getting from Warrior A to Warrior B

That's a mighty tight window before early December when the company tends to take a few weeks off,

so if Plains gets delayed in any way, odds aren't great Umbra's gonna drop 2017

for PC, let alone for Console Squad o.o;

Take care!

How to Get Rid of Varicose Veins Naturally | Natural Cures - Duration: 4:59.

The treatment of varicose veins highly depends on the degree of the veins, but these natural

ingredients can be very effective in eliminating the symptoms that are so irritating to those

who deal with this problem. Varicose veins are enlarged veins that appear in the legs

and ankles near the surface of the skin. Due to circulatory issues, the valves in our veins

can malfunction. This creates an accumulation of blood in certain parts of the body.

Varicose veins usually develop more in women who are overweight. These issues sometimes

occur during pregnancy. People who spend all day standing and the elderly are also more

likely to develop varicose veins.

In addition to the unpleasant aspect of varicose veins, they can also worsen and cause discomfort

such as pain and swelling. Therefore, the varicose veins treatment is one of the most

sought after topics on the internet.

Types of varicose veins

Not all varicose veins are the same.

Depending on the stage of their development, the color and intensity of varicose veins

will determine their degree and type. So, it's possible to find up to four degrees

of varicose veins:

Grade 1

In grade 1 the varicose veins are thin lines in the leg and have a violet color. In some

cases several grade 1 varicose veins come together to form a tangle of lines that are

called vascular spiders.

In this case, the treatment of varicose veins has more to do with aesthetics. In Grade 1

there aren't any serious related symptoms. At most, people complain of having heavy,

tired legs.

Grade 2

The veins become more visible and a series of symptoms begin to develop, such as:

- Chronic leg fatigue and a feeling of heavy legs

- Cramps - Ache - Warm sensation - Tingling - Itching Grade 3

With increasingly dilated veins, the symptoms of varicose veins become progressively worse.

With Grade 3 there will be swelling, edema, and even changes in the color of the skin.

Grade 4

At this stage varicose veins appear in areas accompanied by eczema or skin lesions. Due

to the difficulty in treating these lesions (because they can get inflamed very easily)

, these varicose veins are the most delicate.

If you have Grade 4 varicose veins, a treatment with the support of a physician is highly

recommended.

On the other hand, it's also possible to resort to some natural treatments that help

to eliminate the symptoms.

Some elements are important in the course of your varicose vein treatment. They are:

Apple cider vinegar

Apple cider vinegar works great in stimulating the circulation. It also has wonderful anti-inflammatory

properties.

Apple cider vinegar compresses are also very effective in alleviating the symptoms of varicose

veins. Simply apply to the affected area for 20 minutes.

Aloe vera

Aloe vera has soothing and anti-inflammatory properties, so it is also often used in the

treatment of varicose veins. Carrot

Rich in beta-carotene and antioxidants, the carrot helps relieve all the symptoms of varicose

veins, and assisting in masking the appearance of the veins.

So, let's learn about a cream to complement your varicose vein treatment:

Ingredients

Apple cider vinegar 1 cup of grated carrots

7 ½ tablespoons aloe vera gel

Preparation

These measurements are only a guide, since the final result may vary according to the

application area. Keep in mind that the aloe vera and the carrots should be used in equal

amounts.

Peel carrot and blend until smooth.

Add the aloe vera gel. You can either purchase a gel from natural products store or extract

it from a plant you have at home. Mix the aloe vera with the carrot paste.

Add apple cider vinegar gradually until smooth and creamy.

Mode of application

To achieve significant results with this treatment of varicose veins apply, this cream daily.

Simply massage the mixture on the varicose veins, from the bottom up—from the ankle

to the calves, in order to stimulate blood flow.

Allow this cream to set for at least half an hour and rinse with cold or lukewarm water.

🎉 NEW CONCEPT: The Person To Defend (#LPAD 0) - Duration: 1:41.

Since all these years on Youtube, I've often seen videos

where artists or even people have been criticized.

So ok, sometimes it's fair and I agree with these opinions.

There is even some youtubers who know how to do it because it's sweet and funny for all.

For example, we have this French youtuber, Seb la Frite.

But when it becomes practically a "business", it bothers me.

If you come to criticize a celebrity, it's because it's a minimum known one.

And if it's a known one, it means that there is an audience so there is

some people who love this celebrity and its work. Right?

Well, it doesn't mean everything.

Because sometimes, according to our values, we can completely reject someone.

For example, in politics. (French politic woman)

But today, I have a list of people I would like to defend against small

nastiness that can be heard.

My goal is not to promote the person

but to do the opposite of what we currently hear.

And what will make me very happy is to know about your opinion

at the end of my videos.

I would like to know your initial opinion and see if my video changed that or not

by rating it on this emojis scale.

If I make you more curious about the person or not.

Well, if you're a 100% hater and you really don't give a f*ck

of what I'm telling you, you can always comment.

But you're wasting a little bit of time.

But at the opposite, if you're giving all of your energy to defend

someone or a a concept that everybody hate.

If people throw you rocks each time that you talk about it

tell me more about it in the comments.

I'll be glad to make an investigation in order to protect you.

So I'm preparing the 1st LPAD, L-PAD, IPAD?

for tomorrow at 8 pm. Yess guys.

I let you a little clue

(It's a French artist so no English subs for the 1st LPAD, sorry)

(If you want some subs, let me know) Ciao!

Building The Most Useless Machine | Part 2: The Electronics - Duration: 6:23.

welcome back to clean phil wanted it is the second episode of the most useless machine.

the last episode i most of the box with all hand tools but this episode were gonna be

making, fixing up the lid and attaching it to the box itself.

as well as finally doing the electronics inside.

gonna try to do my best to explain it and keep this a brief video.

a few things about this ahead of time.

what youre gonna see me do is saw the lid in half.

the lid does have an angle on it so that it closes easier.

make sure you do that with whatever box youre using.

I didn't glue the sides to the bottom.

it's actually screwed in there with a board going across the center so it can be removed.

that allows other people, who ever has this in future to take it apart and get to the

electronics and the battery case inside.

I've been wanting to make one of these for 15 - 20+ years.

ever since I saw them as a little kid.

BUT I will tell you that I did get the wiring schematics from an instructables page so I

am going to put a link in the description to where that page is please go check them

out.

I want to thank them for having it up there and send them the traffic they deserve.

in my opinion.

that way, that way

The first thing youre gonna need is a 2 AA Cell battery case.

you don't really need this but for safety reasons i added in this on off switch.

this switch is a Dual Pole Dual Throw Toggle Switch.

The toggle at the top only has two positions.

And on the bottom there are six tabs.

This next switch is a single Pole Dual Throw micro switch with a lever.

it will have a lever on the top and three tabs on the bottom.

And the last thing we need is some sort of a geared motor.

We are gonna modify this servo by opening it up.

pull the electronics out of the bottom and solder two wires directly to the motor.

modifiying the gears at the top is finding the largest gear that has a tab on it.

remove that so it can rotate freely all the way around.

you want to use a hacksaw to cut it off.

I pulled the wires from some old electronics that i had laying around.

make sure that all the wires are longer than you thing you need.

The first thing to is wire the motor to the two middle tabs on the dpdt switch.

The next thing to do is wire battery case to one side of the same switch.

when this toggle is flipped we want to reverse the polarity so wire one tab to the opposite

tab on the opposite side.

if you have an alligator clip you should clip it onto that second tab on the first side

and go to its opposite on the opposite side.

thats what we want but we need it to know when to stop.

so were gonna remove that second wire and were gonna attach it to the single pole dual

throw switch.

I do want it turn the power off when the switch is depressed so i'm going to wire mine to

the first and third tabs. you might want to test this with your switch.

to keep my life simple and because i'm not use to this kind of stuff.

I am going to attach all these components with a hot melt glue gun.

that will give me the freedom to alter things as needed.

I wasn't sure about the shape of the lever that goes on the servo.

so i just cut pieces of cardboard and glued them together with the hot melt until i came

up with a shape that was close enough.

then i cut that out and shaped it up.

I couldn't be more thrilled with this.

i made it way more complicated than i needed to but i'll take it.

Pokémon Explained►Origin of the Dark Type - Duration: 3:14.

I enjoyed making the Fairy type video.

So I've decided to do another type.

While most types are pretty straightforward like Grass-types being based off plants or

Fire-types being based on heat and flames, I was curious about the Dark-type.

When I was little I just thought Dark Pokemon were evil.

Taking a step backwards and analyzing the data there is actually a rather loose definition

of what represents a Dark-type.

Some as Scrafty or Pangoro are associated with brutal, violent, "dirty" fighters, then

some, such as Umbreon and Darkrai just represent literal darkness.

A few others, such as Stunky and the Alolan form of Rattata are simply nocturnal animals.

Lastly, a couple like Absol and Greninja, are even portrayed as having noble and valiant

qualities.

Hmm...I can't tell maybe taking a look at their strengths and weaknesses will 9help.

Starting off they're strong against the Psychic type because Psychic Pokemon are based on

human intelligence and psyche.

Darkness is one of the most common fears, and fears can affect one's rationality and

concentration.

It appears the weakness to Fighting Pokemon stems from myths, in fairy tales and other

stories a warrior must overcome their fears - represented by Dark.

Some Fighting Pokemon like Lucario represents justice, which opposes evil, also represented

by the Dark types.

More with the evil theme they're strong against the Ghost type because evil can damage the

soul.

Spirits are easily corrupted its sad but true.

I've seen enough Bleach well...before it went to the pits.

One last times with the nursery rhymes, they're weak against the Fairy type because fairies

represent light and the darkness flees from the light.

Furthermore, light is a metaphor for goodness, which always triumphs over evil in fiction.

Hey sometimes Dark Pokemon are just darkness, hence they're weakness against the Bug type

because bugs operate well in darkness.

Some insects are nocturnal and only seem to appear when they're not wanted.

I think my childhood assertions are correct.

Not all Dark Pokemon are evil, but their power comes from that source.

Anyway I'm ending it here.

So until next time I'll be seeing you.

I preferiti di Luglio 2017 - July 2017 favourites feat. H&M, La Mer, The Body Shop ect - Duration: 19:15.

>> Hi ya'll and welcome or welcome back to my channel

July is over and as usual I'm ready to share with you my favourite products

To be honest July has been quite a shitty month for me

I had a few bad moments, just to give you an idea I had chickenpox

2 weeks of nightmare, getting chickenpox at my age is awful

in the hottest weather I was covered in itchy pustules

I still have marks on, I basically turned into a leopard woman

such a joy...

and if this is not enough

you know when during my videos I complain because trucks drive under my window?

well I guess trucks had their revenge because around 2 weeks ago one of them drove straight into my balcony

Isn't that great?

Luckily no one was on the balcony, nobody got hurt as we weren't even at home otherwise I would have had an heart attack

anyway the balcony didn't fall, but we can't use it until it get repaired

well, wasn't that great too?

I really hope you had a better July than mine, let me know

in the comments below and give me some hope by sharing something positive as I really need it

Always speaking about positive things I'll be soon be on vacation, I don't have any plans yet

we still need to decided, anyway I'll take a few weeks off from the blog and from Youtube as I do every year

to relax and recharge as I definitely need some time for me

and as I have nothing planned yet I'm not sure when the regular schedule will be back

but I think it will be around the end of August/beginning of september

That said on friday there will still be another video before my holidays

which is going to be a reading my old short stories one

we'll read together a new chapter, I'm not sure we'll manage to read the story until the end

but I'll try to read as much as I can, so don't miss it

Ok, the intro is already superlong so let's start with my July favourites

inspite of the chickenpox and other issues I managed to do some shopping, also taking advantage of the summer sales

and I'm going to show you my 4 favourite pieces

I bought the first one on Asos and it's this black cotton top

it's quite basic, the peculiarity are the crossed strings both on the front and on the back

it's off the shoulder, in the perfect length to tuck it inside a skirt as I like it

and I find it sexy and easy to pair at the same time, I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it

and it's one of the pieces I wore the most in July, right after I recovered from the chickenpox and I've been able to go out again

I got the second piece on Asos too, but it's from the brand Boohoo

it's a peculiar dress, I'll show it on,

it's lightweight and fresh which is great because lately the weather has been super hot

it has straps that cross on the front, with tiny ruffles on

it's gathered under the breast and I usually wear it with a belt because it has a straight cut

and it's not very flattering on me, but a belt solves the problem

I love the blue stripes on the white background, it's super summery

and so this is my second fashion favourite, let's move to the third one that I bought from H&M

I just dropped something

and it's this slightly more structured dust pink dress

I love the off the shoulder cut with the ruffle as this season I'm obsessed with this look

and it's tight on the waist but flowy at the bottom, slightly retro

which is always a great plus for me

and I love the color, so I wore it quite a lot especially in the evening because it's a bit too heavy for the daytime now

and you already saw the last piece in my summer haul/lookbook

but I'll show it again because I noticed that it's still available online

while I couldn't find the pink one, I hope it's still available in the stores

anyway the last piece is the H&M lace maxi dress

is comfy and perfect to wear at nightime for a more elegant look

but also in the daytime styled in a more casual way, so it's quite versatile

sorry I was chocking

and I had to include it in this video because I wore it a lot

and this concludes the clothes section now let's move to skincare

because I have 3 interesting products to share with you

Lately I've been obsessed with eye contour products because more and more

I find new wrinkles around my eyes

and this month I invested in a pricey product

In June I already shared with you the Sisley eye mask, which was quite expensive

and the new product is once again very pricey, but I don't remember the price right now

and the brand is La Mer, probably of of the most high end skin care brands

and it's the eye concentrate, le concentré contour des eyeux

and it comes in this jar and it's supplied with an applicator

with a metal head that feels cool on the skin and it's perfect to apply the product and massage it in

you only need a tiny bit, I've been using it morning and evening since the beginning of the month

because I bought it at the end of June if I'm not wrong

it has a perfect texture as it soaks in quickly

and as last month has been quite challenging my dark circles, wrinkles and puffy eyes got even worst

and la Mer helped me out a little bit, because if I look like a zombie now

God only knows how I would like without it

The second skincare favourite is definitely cheaper and it's by the Body Shop

a mask I already talked about when it was released

the Chinese gingseng and rice one

it's a clarifying mask that fights the stains and discoloration of the skin

and brightens up the face

The chickenpox left a few marks on my face

that I try to cover up with make up

and so I used a bit more often this mask which is really lovely

I apply it with a brush, then I massage it with my fingers as it's also exfoliating

as it has some rice grains inside

you leave it on for 15 minutes then you rinse it off

and it leaves the skin fresh and bright and it's not miraculous but

I really like it and I usually follow it with an hydrating mask to restore the skin hydration

there are some really good ones by the same line too

I didn't know if I had to feture the last favourite in this section or in the make up one

but as I have no make up favourites this month as I kept using my old favourites

I decided to feature it among the skincare items and I'm talkig about By Terry Baume de rose

which I already talked about a million times, but in the tinted version

Basically is the same product, but it has some pigment inside that leaves the lips slightly tinted

as I apply baume de rose on morning and evening I like that

now I can use this version in the morning and replace the lipstick

it adds a sheer tint and in the week days I definitely prefer a ...

more low key make up

I'm not sure this is the right word, today apparently I love to use expression I'm not sure about the meaning

bare with me

By Terry is not distributed in Italy, but you can buy it online from the english web site Space Nk

or you can find it in France in Sephora

and baume de rose is actually an amazing product, it deeply hydrates the lips

and makes them soft and silky

and you can choose among different shades

I wet...wet?? I mean I went for the red one, but there are some pink ones too and anyway the color is sheer, just a veil on the lips

and those were my skincare favourites, now let's move to nails because

once again I have a favourite nailpolish

My July favourite nailpolish is not a new release as I think it has been on the market for a while

it's by Deborah, which means it's easy to get your hands on it here in Italy

and it's from the gel effect line, in the shade which I believe it's called...it's not written on it

anyway I believe it's called Sardinia green and it's this aqua green that I have on my nails

and I bought it last year, so when I spotted it in my nailpolish collection I thought

"I love this shade!" I tried it fearing it was going to be dry, but it was just perfect

and I've been wearing it on my nails for around 10 days and it still looks great, without any chips

that's really impressive

I recommend it a lot, it's quite easy to find on sale

the price is affordable, it's a lovely nailpolish

the brush is quite big

which means it takes less time to coat your nails

and the gel effect finish is just amazing and look at it, isn't it just perfect for Summer?

I would describe it as turquoise meets aqua green and I love it and it has definitely been my favourite nailpolish in July

and it's probably going to be my favourite in August too

and that's it for the nails section, now let's move to the accessories because

I have got something to share

Here we are in the accessories section

I have two things to share, I've been wearing the first one throughout all Summer

I started to wear it at the beginning of June, what am I talking about?

I'm talking about straw bags

which apparently is also a trend for this season and I didn't realize that straight away

because I've been loving and wearing straw bags in Summer for many years

but I noticed them on Asos and I think that Zara released some too, so I was on the trend without knowing it

I bought my bag around 4 years ago and you can guess it because it's quite worn out

in fact I had to replace the ... how are these called?

I'm having a rain fart

the armrest?

the grips? How are these called?

I had to replace this part because it was made of faux leather and it started to flake

so I replaced it with fabric and I also added a few more flowers as the decor was falling off

so that I could wear it again this year and I love this kind of bags because they are big and comfy

this one has handles...that's the word!!

the handles are long enough to carry it on the shoulder

and you can fit a ton of stuff inside, here is what I have now, included a pad

because I use it everyday and it's a summer staple for me

another summer staple for me are headbands and head scarves, I own

a ton of different ones, this for example is a vintage scarf I bought at a flea market

isn't it lovely?

here I have my wired headbands, just like the one I have on and I bought them at a market in London

I have my trusted H&M bandana

together with a ton of other pieces and I like to wear them in different ways

I can wear it like I'm doing today or as I showed in my video with 3 summer hairstyles

gathering the hair in a simple updo and adding the bandana to create a retro look

or tying it in a big bow, many different ways and I think they are comfy in Summertime

because they allow you to keep the hair out of the way by adding a glam and fun touch

so hair band...hair band??? I mean headbands are staples in my Summer wardrobe

and that's all for the accessories section, let me check...

yes that's it and now let's move to the last cathegory, books

this month I've got some books to recommend and I'm using the plural because I have 2

and chickenpox probably helped me read more

so let's talk about books!

The first book I'd like to recommend won't be a surprise because I talked about it in my June favourites video

and I said I had just started it, but I wanted to read it all before I'd share my thoughts

what am I talking about? Daniel Pennac the Malaussène case

As I said in the June favourites video I've been a huge Pennac fan in the nineties

especially of the Malaussène saga, I loved it

the characters were always interesting, out of the box

so as soon as I found out Pennac had released a new novel about the Malaussène family I had to get it straight away

and I loved it

maybe for nostalgic reasons too because I enjoyed finding the old characters all grown up

and seeing what they've been up to and as usual

there is a mistery to solve

and Benjamin Malaussène is involved in it without even knowing, being the scapegoat he's always been

just like his relatives, even the younger ones, who are now all grown ups

and Pennac irony and catching writing style are still there, so if you loved Pennac in the Nineties

or if you loved it in general you can't miss this new novel because it's a good one

the second book I'd like to recommend is not a novel, but a coffee table book

I found it by chance in a book store, what am I talking about?

Tadaaa, Frida by Sebastien Perez and Benjamin Lacombe

it's an illustrated book about Frida Kahlo

the quality is amazing, I don't know if you can see it but the cover looks like silk

and the inside is amazing too, it tells Frida's story

through these illustrations

here is Casa azul, and there are some cut out parts too

like this one that I'll try to show you

can you see it? you turn the page once and a second time

and so on, it's really beautiful

look at this, the broken column

I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it, I paid it 30 euro, but coffe table books tend to be a bit more expensive

and it's a lovely book, especially if you are obsessed with Frida Kahlo just like me

I don't know if it's available online, I'll check that

and if it is you'll find the link on my blog

and of course you'll find the links for all the other products featured

so if you liked something head over to the blog , you'll find the link in the downbar and I'll try to list

all the products available on line

There we go, we reached the end of my July favourites video

as always I hope my suggestions were usefull, if so

give this video a thumbs up so that I will know it

and if you haven't yet subscribe to my channel in order not to miss any new video

and don't miss friday's video either, the last from this season

and it's going to be about the young depressed

That's all I have for you today, I send you a big kiss and I'll see you on friday, ciao!

A Good Parent is Good Enough. - Duration: 2:24.

Hey, I thought I'd...

I'm going to do this message...

It's a very short one.

From my car today.

Because I have been thinking about something, and I have been...

I read this article on the weekend about how you don't need to be a...

Basically you don't need to be a straight A parent.

You just need to be a B-, it's good enough.

Because it's a good grade.

And nobody needs to be perfect.

And you know, I realized that as a Parent Coach, I forget sometimes that when I give

tips, regular information on how to deal with certain things with your kids, people sometimes

think that they have to do all of those.

They think that they have to follow them all.

And every time that they hear something and they realize as a parent, "Oh I've done this

wrong.

How much damage have I already done by doing this wrong for all this time?

How much do I still...

How do I change this?

I really need to stop doing what I'm doing.

I'm doing it wrong and it's going to hurt my child forever.

And I don't know how to just kind of help people understand, again, that you really

don't need to do all of these things.

You don't need to... and if you did all of them, you don't need to do them all all the

time.

There is research that came out that said that for healthy attachment, for a child to

have healthy attachment, a parent needs to do the right thing about 50% of the time.

So, when I heard that, I thought, "Oh!

I can do that!

I can do 50%!"

I also, sometimes at home as we are parenting our daughter, I'm thinking, "God, if people

saw this.

You know, if they saw some of the stuff that we do!

If people heard some of the things that I say to her, they'd be like...

You do not preach what you...

umm... you do not live what you preach."

Because I don't do these things all the time.

Nobody needs to do them all the time, anyways.

So, your child is not perfect.

Nobody around you is perfect.

Why should you be perfect?

So just to put that out there.

It's ok, you can learn things from parenting blogs, you can learn things, like when we

talk about raising your brave girl...

If you just do your best and have a good relationship with your child, and you keep informing yourself

and reading, you know all that your are doing, You are doing just fine.

So... hope that helps for today.
