Youtube daily report Feb 5 2018

Hey everybody this is Randy Santel "Atlas" with Atlas & Zeus Promotions and

proud owner of foodchallenges.com! Tonight i'm going for overall win number

503 and just by looking at all this delicious food you know that I'm very

very excited! Tonight I am in a Kingston area of Canberra, CT, the Australian

Capital Territory! A am at the Durham Castle Arms I'm

taking on their Parmasaurus Challenge Now they have a base Parmasaurus

Challenge, which is to finish there about 350 grams parmas, chicken parmesan

along with a whole bunch of chips, and a salad and then one pint of beer within

20 minutes. Well if you do finish that you get a free sweet t-shirt but you

still have to pay for the meal which is about 37 Australian dollars, so tonight

we're gonna try to do a double challenge and get it free! So we've got four

massive chicken parmesans we've got all kinds of chips we've got a healthy side

salad and then we've got two beers right here but we've got 40 minutes to take

this challenge, if we win I'm going to get the meal free I'll get overall win

number 503 and then I will get a free sweet t-shirt so let's get this

challenge started!

All right now there is no record for this challenge because nobody has tried

to do two but thank you to the Durham for putting this together and allowing

us 40 minutes and thank you guys all for coming to watch it's going to be a good

one not going to get too messy I'm going to use a utensil. It's a knife and fork but

we've got 40 minutes left each and then we've got the two beers Pabst Pale Ale.

We're gonna finish along with all this food but let's see I am

starving! 1, 2, 3 . . . boom! Alright got a sharp knife,

oh yeah it's cutting right up!

The cheese and the sauce and everything on here is so good this is such a good

challenge!

Luckily I started with this chicken parma, it's still really hot in the middle

but it's keeping it juicy then still going down real nice, not having me as much

liquid! My first parma challenge in Australia and it is awesome! Can't wait

to do more!

I didn't think I'd need the whole 20 minutes! We have

9 minutes 58 seconds in if you're gonna eat like that and take a bunch of beers

always make sure to finish it off with a healthy side salad get this down with

all these antioxidant rich tomatoes, and then we'll have beers!

11:20 - finish off with some Pabst Pale Ale!

It's a Saturday night in Canberra and then we're on our way to Melbourne

tomorrow so let's party!

11 minutes and 50 seconds so it took 11 minutes 50 seconds to finish all of that

That meal was so good definitely parmas are easier to eat

than schnitzels, just the way they're cooked and everything but yeah love that

entire challenge even the salad was good and didn't really enjoy the beers I

might have another afterwards but the beers were good too but yeah definitely

favorite part was those chicken parmesan all four of them awesome awesome

challenge! I'm going to get the meal free I'll get a sweet t-shirt and I'll be on

their Wall of Fame for being the first person to finish two Parmasaurus Challenges!

Thank you to the Durham Castle Arms here in Kingston of Canberra

CT for the Australian Capital Territory, thank you guys off-camera and

overall win number 503 thank you guys for watching!

Top 10 People Who Survived Parachute Fails - Duration: 8:05.

Parachutes are great - they are the reason that skydivers don't go splat, and they can

be a life saver in the rare occasion of a plane disaster.

Like most things in life though, sometime things go wrong and peoples parachutes arent

there to save them but amazingly they still survive.

My name is Danny Burke and this is the Top 10 People Who Survived Parachute Fails.

Starting off at number 10 we have Juliane Diller.

This is one of the most crazy things Ive ever heard in my life.

Juliane is a German biologist - when she was a teenager, she was on board LANSA Flight

508 in Peru.

The plane was struck by lightning during a severe thunderstorm and broke up in mid air

before disintegrating at 10,000 ft.

Everyone on board eventually died - except Juliane.

She remained strapped in her seat and fell all the way down into the Amazon jungle below.

Amazingly, she survived - probably because her seat and the trees cushioned the blow.

She tried looking for her mother but failed.

Juliane then spent 10 days travelling down a river in the Amazon until she was eventually

rescued by some logger.

Her story has been the focus of many documentaries.

Juliane has said the question of why she was the only survivor will always haunt her …

Next up at number 9 we have Michael Holmes.

In 2006, this skydiver from New Zealand was very experienced, having 7,000 jumps under

his belt.

Then, one day in December, something went wrong.

He jumped out with his fellow divers at 15,000 ft.

He took pictures all the way down to 2,000 ft but when he tried to open his parachute,

he just started spinning.

He tried to open his reserve parachute but the spinning continued - he was experienced

and knew at this point that he was probably going to die.

He made peace with the world and everything went dark.

Michael woke up in a blackberry push, no more than a meter high.

He had shattered his foot, leg, left hip and shoulder.

Its thought that the bush, the angle that he landed at and that his body was relaxed

were all factors in his unlikely survival.

Next up a number 8 we have Vesna Vulovic.

She was a Serbian flight attendant who holds the guiness world record for surviving the

highest fall without a parachute.

On the 26th of January 1972, the plane she was on exploded due to a briefcase bomb - authorities

never pinned down who was the blame.

Vesna fell without a parachute for a mind blowing 33,330 ft - thats over 4000ft higher

than Mount Everest.

Amazingly, the piece of the aircraft she was in hit a heavily wooded and snow covered area

which cushioned the impact.

Its also thought her low blood pressure kept her heart from bursting on impact.

Vesna died in 2016 and those close to her said she always suffered from survivors guilt.

Next up at number 7 we have Nicholas Alkemade.

He was British aircraft gunner during WW2.

On March 24th 1944, his Lancaster bomber was shot down on its way back from a bombing raid.

As the plane caught fire and spiraled out of control - Nicholas realised his his parachute

was on fire.

His only option was to jump without it - at 18,000 ft.

His fall was broken by pine trees and soft snow and he survived with only a sprained

leg.

The rest of his crew crashed and died.

When he was captured by the Nazis, they didnt believe the story he told them - but also,

why would you make that up?

They eventually believed him though and Nicholas was held as a prisoner of war until the end

of the ar.

Moving on to number 6 we have James Boole.

Hes a British athlete skydiver who has completed over 2,500 jumps - sometimes doing 5 a week.

In 2009 he was filming a TV documentary in Russia.

He he had to skydive next to a volcano to film the shot they wanted.

During the dive, James was so focused on filming the shot that he realised he had gone past

the point to release his parachute safely.

He knew this because he could make out the texture of the snow below him - it was way

too late.

He pulled his parachute anyway when he was just 20 meters above the ground.

It swung his legs up in the air but his back slammed into the ground.

He broke his bag and was bleeding internally when the rescue crew found him.

Luckily, the break was stable and he suffered no neural damage which meant that he was able

to walk again within a week.

The accident did not stop him from jumping again!

Moving on to number 5 we have Ivan Chisov.

This Russian pilot was forced to bail out of his plane during an air battle.

At 23,000 ft, he jumped out with his parachute but did not deploy it.

He was worried that the big parachute would make him an easy target for a German pilot.

He wanted to get below the battle and then open it - however, due to the thin atmosphere,

he lost consciousness and couldnt pull the cord.

He slammed into the snow at about 130 mph and the rolled down a hill.

The Russian army were amazed to find him seriously hurt, but still alive.

He remained in critical condition but was flying again just 3 months later!

Next up at number 4 we have Joe Herman.

This was a Australian Air Force pilot whos bomber was shot down in 1944 over West Germany.

Herman ordered his crew to bail out but before he could grab his parachute - the plane exploded

and he was thrown into the air.

As he fell, certain of his death, he collided with another member of the crew.

He grabbed onto his left leg of the man as he opened his parachute.

Luckily, the parachute opened slowly which helped Joe keep his grip on the leg.

The two men landed safely with only some minor injuries between them.

I think that must have a been a real bonding session for them …

Next up at number 3 we have Dave Hodgman.

This is an interesting one because there are real pictures of the event.

In March 1985, in Australia, Dave Hodgman jumped out of a plane at 12,000 ft as part

of a stunt group attempting a formation.

On his way down, he opened his parachute at around 2,500 ft and did not realise he was

below another jumper who also didnt know he was there.

They collided in mid air and their parachutes became tangled.

People watched below in horror as they spun around, Daves parachute was collapsed and

they were both relying on the other parachute for their survival.

They hit the ground hard but both escaped with minor injuries …

Next up at number 2 we have Alan Magee.

This is American man was another WW2 pilot.

His plane was shot down by the Nazis over France in 1942.

His parachute was damaged in the attack and so he jumped from the plane without one at

an astonishing 22,000 ft.

He quickly lost consciousness due to the altitude.

Then, he crashed through the glass roof of the train staion in the French town of St

Nazaire.

Amazingly, the glass absorbed a lot of the force of impact and Alan survived.

He was taken as a prisoner of war and treated for his many injuries but made it back to

America when the town was liberated in 1945 …

And finally at number 1 we have Shayna Richardson.

This one has an INSANE twist at the end.

In 2005, this woman from Mousiri was on her 10th dive with a brand new parachute when

something went wrong.

At about 3,000 ft in the air, her parachute failed to deploy properly.

She accepted that she was going to die and slammed into the ground at 50 mph.

Amazingly, she survived.

Her instructor rushed her to the hospital where she needed 4 operations.

During her time there, scans revealed something else - Shayna had been pregnant - for 2 weeks

before the dive.

The baby went on to have a healthy birth.

That kid is probably a teenager by now, I wonder how often they tell that story …

Well some people say flying is unnatural, that we shouldnt be thousands of feet up in

the air - I think its fine as long as youre in a good plane or you have a good parachute.

What do you guys think of these stories?

Thanks as always for watching, my name is Danny Burke and Ill see you all in the next

video …

Come and ASK CIRQUE Anything! | Episode #3 | #AskCirque | Cirque du Soleil - Duration: 7:53.

Ask Cirque!

Hey everyone, welcome to episode 3 of Ask Cirque.

The exclusive Cirque du Soleil YouTube series where we answer your questions.

Have you watched episodes 1 and 2 yet?

Catch up now by clicking this button in your top right corner

or check out the description below.

Who will we meet this week?

Just sit tight and join us in this new episode of Ask Cirque.

Hi everybody, my name is Leon Kupferschmid

and I'm an artistic talent scout at Cirque du Soleil.

So Victoria Jackson from Instagram asks,

"What's the audition process like?"

So I'm going read this because it's a very long answer

and it's very complicated actually.

So every discipline is different.

We try to make sure that the audition is adapted

to evaluate every aspect that the artist can give us,

can show us, can demonstrate.

Some auditions are only a few hours long, some are 2 days long,

dance ones are 2 days long, singers can be about 45 minutes long,

but it's just you in front of the evaluator.

The important thing for us is that you feel at ease,

that you feel comfortable to show us exactly what you're capable of doing,

what your potential is, what your energy, your talent, your magic.

We want to see openness, we want you to try new things,

we want to really really test your comfort zones

as well as zones that are not that easily seen from the first 5 minutes.

I train in a group, in a group act

so we train about 3 times a week for 1 or 2 hours.

Besides that I can take care of myself and do my own training and

I train roughly about 1 or 2 hours a day but that's just for me,

that's what I want to do.

But for what I need to do, about 3 times a week for 1 or 2 hours every day.

Yes, of course. It is part of our language.

It is a way to communicate with other musicians

and to express what a composer means with the music.

Follow your dreams, work hard, train hard,

try broaden your artistic horizons,

take dance classes, acting, singing, play musical instrument

to try to get as much diversity as possible,

this will help you on your journey. Best of luck.

I start gymnastics since I was 6 years old

so I did like 25 years gymnastics

then I stopped

then I did just like 2-3 years aerial straps and balancing

and then I came to Cirque.

And now for 4 years I am already part of Totem.

Hi, how are you doing?

My name's Marquinho da Luz, I'm a percussionist from Bahia in Brazil

and I work here at Cirque du Soleil.

Now, I want to quickly tell you how I got here.

Actually, I got here because I have some videos on YouTube,

through which a Cirque du Soleil talent scout found me

and invited me to attend an audition.

I did the audition, passed

and I'm so grateful to be here, living the dream of my life.

So, speaking of dreams, I'd like to encourage you to continue following your dream,

which is wonderful, this dream of becoming a drummer here at Cirque du Soleil.

It's a fantastic job and I think you, everyone, really,

can make their dreams come true, if they have faith and determination.

I'd just like to give you one piece of advice:

find a master who can guide you on the right path for you to reach your goals, ok?

I hope you keep following your dream and that we'll see each other soon.

All the best, see you later!

Hi, my name is Frédérique and I'm from the PR department.

Mário Lúcio from Facebook asks:

"In all the presentations, are the songs really a live performance

with singers and musicians with all the instruments?

Some presentations are too perfect to be a live show

without technological help for the singer."

Yes, we have live musicians and live singers

and what's fun about it is that they need to constantly adapt

with what is going on on stage

because if an artist misses a trick and need to do it again,

the music will need to go longer.

So yes, live musicians.

But in the show Sep7modia, the Beatles Love and Michael Jackson One,

we have the recording of Soda Stereo,

the Beatles and Michael Jackson.

There's a question on social media

about what some of our acrobats like to eat,

which is kind of a difficult question for us to answer.

Everybody is different, we have so many different nationalities and backgrounds.

They tend to go to what's tasty, right, and that's our job.

And our job is to provide them with the best tasting food we can provide them,

which is always different.

We are always providing different meals every single day for lunch and dinner.

That's really our goal is to just keep our whole family happy.

So there is no direct answer, no simple answer to that question

except that we want everybody to feel like they're at home

and I feel like we do a fantastic job doing that on a daily basis.

[Amaluna artist] Hello! My name is Tuguldursaikhan.

I am an acrobatic artist.

I want to share the feelings that I get when I perform.

When viewers applaud during my performance it gives me immense strength and energy.

It makes me feel like I am touching the sky.

I would just like to say that I feel so good whenever I perform.

Thank you so much!

Alejandro Vistue Adiego from YouTube asks,

"What show has been the most seen until now?"

Created in 1993, Mystère is the oldest show

still being presented by Cirque du Soleil

making it the show with the greatest amount of representation so far.

However, created in 1998, O has reached more than 15 million viewers this year

making it the show seen by the greatest amount of people so far.

Hi, my name is Haley Viloria

and I'm a aerialist on Cirque du Soleil's production of Kooza.

"How do you communicate with each other?

Do you have language academy or something similar for all your artists?"

My answer to that is the primary language on most shows is English,

but we also have interpreters and translators

depending on the troops that are present on tour.

And what's great about Cirque du Soleil

is that because we're such an international company,

we each get a taste of different languages and we can learn as we go along.

Yes, we need to eat as much as we can

because we don't have much time to eat sometimes.

Especially before the show.

Actually yeah if you're serious then of course lots of vitamins,

lots of fruits and work a lot.

I don't really have a special diet to keep my body in shape,

just train hard and work a lot, that's it.

Yeah I don't have either the diet.

Regular day, regular life.

You just have to, you just have to work out

and maybe because we are performing so often,

we have like 10 shows a week and we have a lot of trainings,

the warm-ups, it's helping us to be in shape.

Chocolate, lots of chocolate.

He's lying.

Why Do So Many People Believe in Conspiracy Theories? - Duration: 5:51.

[INTRO ♪]

You'd probably be surprised to find how many people

actually think we have never been to the moon.

They think a reflection on an astronaut's visor

or the American flag supposedly "blowing in the wind"

prove that the 1969 moon landing was staged by NASA

to win the Space Race.

Which, to be clear, it was not.

But pretty much nothing you say is going to

change a conspiracy theorist's mind.

A conspiracy theory is the allegation that

a group of (usually powerful) people conspired

to achieve some (usually evil) goal.

To be fair, conspiracy theories aren't always false.

Watergate, for instance, turned out to be real.

The CIA really was giving LSD to people.

But… a lot of them are pretty out there.

Like, the Earth is flat!

The U.S. government is hiding UFOs in Area 51!

That kind of thing.

With the internet spreading conspiracy theories faster than ever

and making them more visible, more and more people are exposed to them.

And they can have a powerful effect on your behavior.

Studies have shown that conspiracy theories can make people

less likely to engage in politics, vaccinate their kids,

or try to reduce their carbon footprint.

So it's pretty important to understand why people believe in these ideas

even in the face of reasonable evidence to the contrary.

Fortunately, psychologists have done a lot of research

on conspiracy theories in the past couple decades.

Most recently, they've found a bunch of support

for a hypothesis that's been around for a while:

illusory pattern perception, our tendency to see patterns that aren't there.

Pattern detection is hardwired into our brains.

Some researchers think it evolved as our ancestors

foraged for resources that tended to clump together.

It also helps us avoid danger: last time you smelled this funky odor,

you got food poisoning, so maybe you shouldn't eat that meat.

But we might actually be too good at pattern detection.

If you've ever tried to memorize a bunch of digits of pi,

you'll know that random sequences often don't look random to your brain.

There's plenty of research to back this up.

We know that people see hot streaks in sports that aren't there

and that gamblers are more likely to see patterns

in random sequences than other people.

And a study from 1997 found that subjects were more likely to

rate strings of Xs and Os that were harder to split into patterns—

and therefore harder to memorize—as being "more random,"

even when they'd be considered less random in the mathematical sense.

According to the researchers, that suggests that

our sense of randomness is based more on how hard it is

to mentally encode something, not how objectively random it is,

and that something that's easier to mentally process

can stop feeling random.

A 2017 study published in the European Journal of Social Psychology

applied these ideas to conspiracy theories.

The researchers conducted five experiments,

with 200-400 participants in each.

In one experiment, people who saw patterns in a random series of coin flips

were more likely to believe in an irrational

experimenter-designed conspiracy theory.

In another, they were asked to evaluate modern art paintings

that were considered either "structured" or "chaotic."

Those who saw patterns in the "structured" paintings—

so, patterns that were actually there—

weren't more likely to believe in conspiracy theories.

But people who saw non-existent patterns in the "chaotic" ones were.

Looking for patterns that aren't there

might also affect your belief in conspiracy theories.

Subjects who were told to look for patterns in the random coin-flips

were more likely to find them.

Those who already believed in a conspiracy theory

were more likely to see patterns in world events.

And when subjects read an article that argued for a conspiracy theory,

they were more likely to believe in other, unrelated, conspiracy theories.

So, illusory pattern perception might be the mechanism

that causes people to believe in conspiracy theories, but why do they do it?

It might be because we don't like uncertainty.

Studies have shown again and again that we're more comfortable

with events that are predictable and controllable.

So researchers think people use conspiracy theories

to make sense of complex or upsetting events

that don't seem to have a good enough explanation.

If something is too hard to process, you might look for other explanations.

People are also more likely to form conspiracy theories

in the wake of events that are impactful or threatening.

Your brain wants better explanations for things with bigger consequences.

When the stakes are a beloved president's death,

it makes more sense to your brain for there to be some

giant, elaborate explanation, like a Warren Commission cover-up,

than something simple like a lone gunman.

We're all susceptible to illusory pattern perception,

but there are some factors that predict whether someone

is more likely to believe in conspiracy theories.

The biggest predictor for believing in a conspiracy theory

is believing in another one.

But there are more.

One study found that subjects used their own sense of morality

as a proxy for that of other people.

So they were more likely to believe that, like,

scientists created AIDS, for example,

if they thought that they themselves would have created AIDS.

Political extremism is another factor.

Researchers think it gives people a rigid perspective

on societal change and makes them more likely to

question the authority figures offering the explanations.

Having less education can also make people more likely

to believe in conspiracy theories, but that's at least partly because

those with less education feel they have less control over their lives.

This increases uncertainty, which in turn

makes conspiracy theories more appealing.

That might be something we can use to help defeat false conspiracy theories—

by finding ways to help people achieve a sense of control over their lives.

Change is always hard, but reducing the uncertainty and fear it causes

might mean people don't need to search for

better explanations where they don't exist.

Dem Lawmaker UNHINGED – Wants GOP 'Bastards' Locked Up After Stunning FISA Memo is Released.

A former Democrat member of Congress is so outraged over the exposure of the criminal

conspiracy to void the election and remove President Trump from office that he is crapping

into his grampers.

91 year old John Dingell who recently retired after a mere six decades in the House of Representatives

is calling for the arrest of Rep. Devin Nunes, presumably all Republican members of Congress

and of course, President Trump.

The memo, known as the either the House Intelligence, FISA, or Devin Nunes memo was released today

and it is fairly shocking.

In a nutshell, Hillary Clinton paid former British spy Christopher Steele to prepare

the salacious and false "Trump Dossier."

This bogus piece on information was then used by Obama's Justice Department to obtain

a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrant to spy on Donald Trump's presidential

campaign.

Steele admitted that he was intent on keeping Trump from winning the 2016 election and the

FBI testified that without his BS dossier, they would not have sought a FISA warrant

on Trump campaign adviser Carter Page.

In other words, a presidential candidate colluded with a foreign government to influence the

outcome of a US election.

That's exactly what the democrats are accusing Trump of, but unlike that, this is real and

implicates Hillary and Obama.

UGH!

The Untold Truth Of Bar Rescue - Duration: 4:45.

The typical U.S. bar goes through ups and downs, and it's Jon Taffer's job on the "reality"

show Bar Rescue to take a failing bar and mold it into something that will work.

Sometimes that's a drastic change, sometimes it's a change of attitude, but it's always

good TV.

But is it real?

Here's a look at the untold truth of Bar Rescue.

The Troubadour and the NFL

So how did Taffer land this show in the first place?

Well, his resume is quite extensive, managing bars and coffee shops on both coasts before

opening his own bar in 1989.

But probably the most famous bar Taffer ran was the Troubadour in West Hollywood, where

Bob Dylan allegedly first plugged in, Elton John made his U.S. debut, and where John Lennon

and Harry Nilsson were thrown out for heckling the Smothers Brothers.

And he also has ties to the creation of NFL's wildly popular Sunday Ticket.

Back when Taffer ran a sports bar, executives with ComSat approached Taffer to find out

how well out-of-market NFL games would do at sports bars.

Taffer wrote up a market analysis, and ComSat took the idea to the NFL.

They loved it so much they just decided to do it themselves, hiring Taffer away.

He worked on the Advisory Board for NFL entertainment for a few years, so while he didn't technically

"invent" NFL Sunday Ticket, he certainly shaped what it is today.

How they pick the bars

The actual task of getting on the show is pretty straightforward: bar owners simply

fill out an application.

But producers sometime choose bars based on geographic location, canvassing specific cities

for potential fixer uppers.

Fake news

Despite his broad experience, plenty of people don't like Taffer, in part because he says

stuff that's just flat out wrong, like when he claimed that "Tequila is inherently made

from mezcal, which mescaline, the hallucinogenic drug is made from.

So tequila can have a hallucinogenic component, you might be talking to someone who's not

there."

One problem: that's totally not true, as tequila and mescaline come from different plants,

something an expert on alcohol should probably know.

There have been failures

Just because Taffer and his crew of expert mixologists enter your tavern it doesn't mean

that you're on Easy Street.

In fact, through the first three seasons, about a quarter of the bars rescued were actually

not rescued at all and closed instead.

Schafer's Bar and Grill summed up the whole experience in a Facebook post, writing, "We

should have stuck to our gut when #barRescue called us the 1st time.

Our answer was NO they should be called #BarF---ups cause we could have done everything they did

ourselves without drama and [them] telling us what to say."

And that's a bar that's still in business!

Piratz Tavern of Silver Springs, Maryland, didn't make it and also lashed out, blaming

Taffer for the bar closing and going as far as calling the show fake.

"I think Johnny Taffer is really f---ing stupid.

We had taken off the sign, and burned, and drink.

The best thing I do in my life."

Speaking of which…

Fake fake fake

Lots of people who have been on the show are happy to explain just how fake it is, like

Schafer's Bar and Grill owner owner Ryan Burks, who said, "During my first interview I was

asked how much money we are losing each month.

My exact words to the producer were, 'What would you like me to say?'

Producer's response: 'For our story you are losing $10,000 a month and losing your house

and closing down next month.'

All of which isn't true."

And the folks from Piratz Tavern said just about the same thing.

"It was basically coerced and staged to be an opening act for a re-rescue.

I was told to bring in several changes of clothes to make it appear that filming covered

several days.

As usual they brought in a bunch of extras to fill the house and we were told what to

say and with whom to speak."

The shooting schedule is intense

Once a bar does agree to appear on the show, things move pretty quickly.

Taffer and crew take five days to complete a bar rescue.

That includes Taffer evaluating the actual bar being redone and scouting competing bars.

Each day is about a 12-hour shoot with the second day being the crazy one; that's where

he yells at the bar owners and tells them what a horrible job they're doing.

"Look at this!

This place is dangerous for chrissakes!"

According to a Reddit post written by someone claiming to be a Bar Rescue producer, hidden

cameras are placed before the full crew arrives, and the normal pre-production shooting takes

place then as well.

By Day 5 the bar is back open with the remodel, and that's that.

'Shut it down!' is trademarked

Any TV show is only as good as its catchphrase.

Taffer stumbled into one when he began shouting "Shut it down!"

any time a bar is in violation of a health code… or pretty much any other time he feels

like it.

Taffer wisely trademarked the phrase, making him the exclusive seller of Shut It Down merchandise.

Controversy

In 2013, Taffer and the Bar Rescue crew went to Nashville to save the Pit and Barrel, run

by a short-tempered man named Chris Ferrell.

After learning his lesson from the hosts, a graphic claimed Ferrell had changed his

ways, and hadn't lost his temper with his staff.

Before the episode aired, though, Ferrell was arrested for fatally shooting country

singer Wayne Mills during an argument at the bar.

Spike TV announced they were going to pull the episode, but then ran it anyway, leading

to widespread outrage.

A jury eventually found Ferrell guilty of second-degree murder.

He received a 20-year sentence for the crime.

TARANIS - Duration: 3:05.

It's too late, mighty Taranis king of thunder of Galilee

In a few minutes, all Megalopolisville will be destroyed to become my new evil kingdom!

Quick, Taranis, the tower! It's a catalyst for his power! You have to destroy it now

or more than dozens of people will die with just the energy wave that the tower will emanate!

Great, but... with thunder?

Yes, with thunder, Taranis!

Sure, sure of course! But, when you mean dozens, how many is that exactly?

Are you fucking kidding me?

No, I'm just doing some math to understand the cost benefit of the whole Thunder thing

But okay, let's do it! Let's go!!

Cost benefit what? What's happening!?

Hello, Stuart? Hey! yeah, so we'll need about five or six...

If you have a virgin there might be good too... now! yeah, now it's good

Sorry uh...Taranis, what are you doing?

Uh... the Thunder thing..

No, you're talking on your phone...

instead of doing the Thunder thing that I told you to do

But that's it, theThunder thing! Human sacrifice, the whole thing...

Human sacrifice? Whoa whoa, wait! What are you talking about?

Wait , wait... you're really going to do that? Really?

You're supposed to be the smartest, most cultured guy on earth you

You could build a nuclear power plant with a box of matches and glue and string, but

you don't know where my powers come from?

What? I...whoa! I thought this human sacrifice thing was a myth!

Of course it's a myth! But so is as a half naked Thunder guard

and here we are! Do you or don't you want the whole Thunder thing?

Can't you do the Thunder thing without sacrificing anybody?

NO! You think I don't prefer that also? But unfortunately that's the way it goes

but look we're still good, sacrificing six people, or so, to save a few dozen is still good, right?

That's not how we do things, Taranis!

We can't just get people killed! The goal is to save people here!

You mean we can't get any more people killed, right? That's what you mean..

Oh shit... tell me you didn't...

I thought you knew! Sacrifice is implicit in this kind of thing

Being a Welsh God and all...

What did you guys think that I asked for tithing from my buddies?

I can't believe we can't find a fucking God that doesn't have to kill a lot of people to use his powers

Alright folks, this is Dionysus, a cousin of mine

if you throw a good party with a considerable orgy of, at least, fifteen to sixteen people

to honor him, you can use his powers without any human sacrifice

Yeah, what's his superpower?

Wine

Then thou can get six, nay seven, of my most precious libations

If thous can acquire me a fiery headed bear man... in a hot tub

Alcohol Reaction HX [Organic Chemistry] Smith 2018 - Duration: 2:04.

In this video I will guide you through a problem in Smith's Organic Chemistry.

I'm Stoddard, founder of studychem, the place for students to turn for higher grades

in ochem.

Let's get started.

In problem 17 we are asked to draw the products of each reaction.

You want to classify the alcohol as primary, secondary, or tertiary.

And then think about the mechanism whether it involves carbocations or not.

Whenever a mechanism involves carbocations there's always the possibility for rearrangement

giving you mixtures of products.

For this particular problem there are no rearrangements.

The more stable carbocation is formed directly and it cannot rearrange to give you something

more stable.

So we just need to think about the substituting the alcohol for the halogen.

So there's an OH group here and here's a chlorine group here.

And what we simply need to do is draw the reaction product and substitute the OH or

hydroxyl group for a halogen.

Same process down here with part b.

Here we have the hydroxyl group bound to the 5-membered ring, cyclopentane.

And we want to take the iodine and just exchange it for the hydroxyl group.

Let's go ahead and draw iodocyclopentane.

In part c, a similar thing happens here.

We have a hydroxyl group bound to the secondary carbon and we have HBr.

The bromine will take the pace of the hydroxyl group.

And what we want to draw here is the secondary alkyl halide with a bromine located at that

position.

Okay, a quite straightforward problem.

Thank you for watching.

"PARMASAURUS" CHICKEN PARMA CHALLENGE!! (x2) - Duration: 6:39.

CT for the Australian Capital Territory, thank you guys off-camera and

overall win number 503 thank you guys for watching!

know your best assets.

let's go on tip no.2 so tip no.2 as I've said make up is something to enhance your appearance

not to cover.

to give you confidence and feel something beautiful inside you

and eventually Radiates

it

outside

your apperance

no 2 tip is don't over do you make up. LESS IS MORE. So tip no. 1is know assets, and then tip no 2. is uhm don't over do your make up.

Less is more!

so tip No. 1 is know your (best) assets and then tip No. 2 is

Don't over do your make up

Tip no 3 is about skin care.

SKIN CARE is essentials, our skin needs it, when we are getting older and older, uhmm

the tendencies to to produce more collagen or cells in our skin

gets slower, it is because of our environment, our food intakes, our lack of sleep, our everyday

everyday stress, and even lack of water decreases the process of producing good cells in our

body,

daily washing (face) in the morning and in the evening and applying with a good

amount of moisturizer during morning or evening is a must, a scrub and facial mask once or

twice a week is necessary to remove dead skin cells and to renew our skin, you just need

to visit a drugstore or a skin care store and ask for an advice regarding your skin

condition, your concerns, and what results do you want to achieved.

You can easily determined as well by this questions what type of skin you are either

oily, combination, or dry, don't get shy to ask question beauty specialists are well trained

and very knowledgable in this field, so the tip No. 3 is choose your skin care and hydrate

your skin by drinking a lot of water, and by eating good and healthy foods as much as

possible.

So we have already 3 tips.

No.1 tip is know your assets, No. 2 Don't over do your make up.no.3 is about skin care

for taking care and having good quality skin.

so my tip No. 4 is about make up's When choosing your make up, don't choose

it alone ask for an advise from experts such as make up artists and beauty consultant or

advisors we are more than willing to assists you and make you feel confident about yourself.

As for my experienced uhmm as a Beauty Consultant and a Make up artist the basic tools you need

when starting your make up are: So I have 8, 8 products, I have 8 products

when your starting to, to purchase make up's the basic, basic products when choosing your

make up.

No. 1 is uhmm I have here, I have a primer, no 1 is primer so, what primer does to your

skin?

It will protect your skin, it will enhance the appearance of make up, and it help it

to lasts, there's a lot of primer references in the market such as hydrating primer if

you are a dry skin, correcting primers for redness, pigmentation, or corrections dis-coloration,

matte primers for oily skin.

There's a glowing primer if you want to add glow in your foundations or in your skin.

uhmm this one we have here is from the Kat Von D collections it's the lock it feather

weight primer, what does this in your skin is it hydrates, and its set your make up,

its makes your make up more long lasting.

No. 2 is about foundations there are different kinds of foundations available in the market,

such as powder and liquid forms, whenever it is sheer or medium or full coverage,

its has different texture as well and finishes according to what kind of skin you are, to

cover some marks or hide something choose the full coverage foundations, for naturally

glowing or no make up look choose the sheer coverage, it is available to what kind of

skin you have whether in powder or liquid form, so I have here different kinds of uhmm

foundations which is we have from the make up forever HD foundation its a stick foundation

full coverage, you just apply it in your skin dab it with a beauty blender or your make

up brush, we have the Marc Jacobs genius gel foundation this has (good) coverage as well,

this one for naturally glowing skin so it has anti oxidant properties, so if you want

like a more on a natural look sheer coverage will do I have as well the spray foundation

from Dior uhmm you just spray it on the brush or spray it on the face and then blend it

well it gives a medium coverage, sheer it depends on how you will blend it.

And then I have a beautiful coverage foundation from Kat Von D, this one even marks can cover,

even tattoo you can cover from this one, it's really really full coverage and really pigmented,

you want to cover some marks, freckles or pigmentation use full coverage foundations

or if you want to hide large pores, aged spots you can use that one so No. 1 is primer, No.

2 is foundations, No. 3 is a concealer, A concealer is a color corrector that is use

to hide or to mask dark circles, aged spots, large pores, and even blemishes it is similar

to foundation but more on a thicker base, thicker version.

It is use specifically under the eye area, and some spots needs to cover so I have some

samples of a concealer as well, I have the Remarcable full coverage concealer in pot

base, so you just dip your finger or a brush and then you just dab it on your desired area.

I have the cream full coverage concealer as sell from Kat Von D, it is hydrating concealer

so it is good as well for dry skin, it will not create any creases or lines, I have the Urban

Decay concealer corrector pencil, this one you need to sharpen then apply it, you can

use this one as well as, you can use this one as well

for your highlighting and contouring.

so 4 is about eye brows so eyebrows are lines of hair which grows above your eyes, it is

created to be separated.

So you need to separate your eye brows it is not created as one line, it defines and

frames your face, the first thing people notice in your face are your Brows.

Enhance your Brows, you don't need to over do it.

A clean well maintained Eye brows is a must.

You can do waxing or threading.

Or shave a little bit to achieved the definitions you want.

Then just fill it with Eye brow pencil or powder or cream based.

So I have here from Anastasia Brow wiz pencil, so it's retractable it's more easy for beginners,

more easy for beginners you just (need) to fill in your Brows and then uhm you can make

it thicker or thinner.

There's also a brush wand.

And then I have here as well the Anastasia pot pomade, so this one is if you want more

thicker texture, its more long lasting it's waterproof.

you just need a brush for this so you will be the one who will create your own (Brows).

I have here from Urban Decay Brow Box it has wax, and powder base formula.

So just need dab it first in the wax and then the powder you apply it in your eyebrows,

it has also, some products also has brush wands tweezers for applications.

So that's No. 4 its uhm Eye Brows it's all about Eye Brows.

So No. 5 is Eye Pencils, it enhance and open your eyes it's gives a dramatic effect and

illusions, if you are a beginner I will recommend you to use pencil, Because it's more easy

to use and more steady or precise when doing your lines.

Use this outside your water line and smudge it a lil bit to create a dramatic smokey look.

To make your eyes more smaller put a brown or black shade inside your water line, to

create a smaller effect or illusion in your eyes, and then if you have a tired eyes, use

a beige pencil on the water line, it will give you a fresher look.

So I'm advising if you are new to make up's always use a pencil than liquid pencil, Because

this one needs precision you really need to do a lot of practice with the liquid pencils,

or liquid liners rather.

There's also a lot of make up in the market which is waterproof and non waterproof so

it depends on your skin conditions as well, skin types, so if you have a oily skin, better

get a really water proof pencils, mascara specially in the eye area.

So No. 6 is about mascara, mascara is a tool to enhance the lashes it opens your eyes and

gives a dramatic full effect (on lashes) it has water proof and non water proof as well.

(Application) down from your lashes going up in a zig zag formation and from above roll

it upwards, so it has water proof and non water proof it opens your eyes and gives a

full (dramatic) effect on your lashes.

So I have this 3 kinds of mascara which is I really love, The Marc Jacobs velvet noir

mascara and Dior this is there newest mascara, and then the Max Factor Voluptuous false lashes

effect (Mascara).

For my no.

7 Make up product you need to have is a Blush / or a Bronzer, it helps to give you warmth,

defines your cheekbones and temples area, a light soft pink or Bronzy nude blush will

enhance and gives you a perfect glow, so I have a sample here from Urban Decay as well,

The Naked Flushed in Strip Color, it has blushed, bronzer and highlight.

In your cheek bones.

That's it.

I have here as well the limited edition Urban Decay Gwen Steffani palette, it has 6 color

blush, pigmented, so if your starting your make up choose one or two blush is enough.

So No. 8 product is a lipstick, so if you are a beginner choose a lipstick that matches

the tone of Lips, how you will do that?

Choose one or two tone darker (shades) from your actual lip color, from nude pink or nude

brown or if you want to make it bold, make a statement of a red one.

Just a tip, if you are creating bold dark shades of colors in the eyes make sure your

lips are toned down, and if you are creating dark bold shades of lipsticks create a nude

tones in your eyes.

Remember that there are also a lot of different textures in lipsticks such a sheer, liquid

matte or soft matte.

Choose according to your preferences, and then I have here like a samples of lipsticks

which is this one is a sheer coverage will give you a nude effect very very settled color

in Nude Rose, this one is from Burberry No. 405 and I have this everlasting liquid lipsticks

24 hours (wear) waterproof from Kat Von D, it's a matte liquid lipsticks you need to

apply on your lips and then that's it for the whole day.

It will last long.

But if you want, if you feel that its too much you can add a gloss, you can also use

gloss alone, if you don't want to create more bolder look, so I have gloss from Anastasia

and Chanel, you just apply it on any kind of color of lipstick you want and that's it

or a lip balm.

And last this is just a professional tip after doing all your make up you just spray a lock

it setting mist, it will lock all your make up and it will help your make up to last all

day long, when your applying.

So that's my 8 products you need to have in your, in your make up pouch.

That's all that's my tip and advices, if you have some questions just comment below and

Where Is Gintama - Duration: 2:32.

For the people who don't already know the crunchyroll awards has started again to

be honest there's a lot of stuff I want to talk about and a lot of questions

that came to my mind however there was one bigger question for myself that I

really didn't understand na Mike son of a bit bias since my

WHERE IS GINTAMA?!

Now I might sound a lil bit Bias since my

favorite series is Gintama but even if it wasn't to me it still

doesn't make any sense what's happening over here.

To make a long story short

crunchyroll made an Anime Award for 2018. However within all of the nominees for

each subject Gintama was not selected.

Huh?!

Now I'm Not saying that Gintama should win in any of these areas

but I just find this really odd over here you can see of the areas in which

You could have voted in. Some I would personally put in Gintama but that's of

a bias standpoint

But what the fuck happened to comedy?

As Far as I know Gintama a huge beloved comedy series. so now Oda I'm not saying these pigs for

Sooooooooooooooo..........

Now Hold Up!

I'm not saying these pics for the Nominees were bad.

I've seen almost all of them.

But if you familiar with Gintama,

You should know that those who have watched it probably enjoyed it

As much as those nominees if not more

Especially for its comedy

Hell, that's one of the things the series is Probably most famous for.

It's Meme-Able retardedness okay my enemy list is not

Okay, My Anime List is Not exactly.....

THE MOST RELIABLE SOURCE.

But if we look at its top anime list,

We can see that most of the top rankings are dominated by Gintama

There must be a good reason for that , right?

In the end I'm not saying that Gintama should

necessarily win

But,

what makes Gintama so beloved that it takes so many high Places on my anime list?

Who puts the bar on the series to be a contender in the Anime Awards?

Better run, better run

I can't remember when you hurt me so bad

But now the tables turn, apocalypse is coming

I can't remember when you left me so sad

Assemblymember Salas Praises Governor's State of the State Address - Duration: 1:50.

Please welcome the 39th governor of the great state of California the Honorable

Edmund G Brown Junior

Clean water is a fundamental good that must be protected

and made available on a sustainable basis will soon begin expending fun

funds on some of the storage we've needed for decades I'm really happy and

pleased that the governor focused on issues that matter to the Central Valley

issues like water water safety clean air clean water things like giving people

local control through the local control funding formula shoring up our rainy day

fund so that we know that we have the funds available in in years that are not

so good when the economy is not doing so well but also he focused on making sure

that those communities hit hardest by pollutants actually gonna receive some

of the resources so we know in the Central Valley that southeast southeast

Kern County that's places like Arvin places like Kettleman city you know

places that that bear a huge burden from from pollutants just geographically and

where they're located the goal is to make our neighborhoods and farms

healthier our vehicles cleaner zero emission the sooner the better

and all our technologies increasingly lowering their carbon output I was

really pleased at the governor's state-of-the-state was talking about

healthy communities and healthy families and so I see that right in an alignment

with what we're trying to do with Valley Fever trying to make sure that families

are safe families are getting the resources and the attention that they

need you know I recently introduced a valley fever package it's four different

bills to try to help those families and as the governor's talking about healthy

families and healthy communities I hope he'll see that merit and what we're

trying to do and join us in our fight to do something for all these families

affected by valley fever
