Youtube daily report Apr 3 2018

hey there Internet I'm here to show you a massage brand new update to its GS 63

VR if you remember back in October of 2016 we review the GS 63 VR the big deal

incredibly small laptop full on gtx 1060 performance the new thing though is this

the update to the GS 63 VR is now called the GS 65 VR it is this is a prototype

so it's not quite perfect that's pretty still aluminum shell you'll notice and

Miss Emma sy said you know what we're getting a lot of business people they're

telling their bosses they need more powerful graphics for Excel spreadsheets

and probably playing pub G so they've really gone up scale with this making a

little more suit-and-tie you get black and gold on the edge even around the

edge and there's not the standard red kind of emblazoned in your face off even

down to the keys perky lighting hey have had but what they decided to do with

these new keys as they went with skirts there's so the previous ones they were

wide around the base to give out a little more light these are actually

sealed up to be a little more formal a little more business you don't think

like whoa whoa did I buy my employee a gaming laptop yes they did probably this

one big difference obviously if you know the GS 60 through VR look at the bezel

this is an ear bezel this design that's nice not totally bezel US and so it's a

narrow it's about an inch narrower than the GS 63 VR GS 63 and big deal no

nostril cam I stole that from you cliff yes the camera is up on top cameras and

the mics on top how they fit that which is actually very impressive I know I may

actually look at the video quality on that because it is nice to get the

webcam on top I don't know how many people are doing their webcam shows but

apparently they are but a lot of these laptops they're putting the cameras down

low looks up your no no boy no no bueno not good

look at your hand or your nose so they moved it on top pretty cool of course

big deal inside core i7 six core chip I know there's a core I nine this is not

gonna fit a quarry nine in there because of the thermals but still you're getting

a six core coffee Lake CPU and a laptop that of course is super thin nice what

about the graphics cards graphics card in this particular one you get two

options right now gtx 1060 gtx 1070 yes max q I for some reason nobody's

marketing that way but both those parts are max-q parts I you know as I

understand it they are pretty much full spec and you're getting you know roughly

my testing of max q10 70 1060 parts maybe 10% off a full 1060 1070 max Q

part other changes really big changes especially for the GS secutiry VR I love

that laptop but the battery life wasn't great

the reason MSI put a pretty small battery in it to get all the cooling for

all the hardware at that time they put a 62 watt hour battery that basically

meant you're lucky to get five hours out of that not gaming of course it's

generally used five to six hours this is an 82 watt hour battery so they put a

super large battery in it they say 8 to 11 hours basically all day use and let's

face it you're not really working all day at work anyway does it make it

thicker what's the difference oh it's actually a little lighter interesting

Lea this is a four point one pound laptop the previous GS 63 VR so I keep

calling you that GS 63 was fourteen four point nine six so definitely lighter

what else has changed a little bit of screen touch the screen so nobody not 4k

but I want to touch it the screen is a hundred and forty-four

Hertz oh nice right alright very nice 1080p 144 Hertz with a wide viewing

angle you know what that means non non IPS and VA probably so it looks pretty

good matte finish other changes big battery improve cooling and also they

said hey if you've ever tried to get inside a GS you through VR it ain't fun

this one they said we've improved it yeah it's not you it's not

Big Bertha laptop where you can just open up a tent parts but you can get

inside this one there are two MDOT two slots no hard drive slot I'm okay with

that it's fine as long as you can have a little more storage using two m2s

there are also DDR four sodium's probably a little hard to get to I would

probably not recommend that but they do say that this is a lot more serviceable

a lot more easy to get inside than the previous GS 63 and here's the other

thing 144 Hertz MVA panel g-sync obviously and

this oh no way yeah this is pretty rare to see a laptop

laptop especially that has a full 180 screen this is kind like an

old-fashioned think that in a way I gotta say I like it a lot of people like

what do you need that for but if you're standing over it on a bench if it's low

you kind of want to low point the screen back you know a lot of laptops will go

to about there and that's it and if you're standing high you want a little

more angle you're gonna go all the way here

this again is a prototype I don't want to break it so but near bezel and screen

top camera no nostril cam six core core i7 CPU 16 gigs 256 gigs max Q 1060 1799

if I've got this right 16 gig 256 max q 1070 1999 so 1804 1060

2004 1070 you know it's gonna seem pricey compared to a like really big

thick laptops but when you get to sort of this form factor cramming all these

components in here it's not easy to make there's a lot of stuff a lot more detail

you got to pay to it so not bad oh four ports let's go over this USB looks like

I see a Thunderbolt ports where we get a USB Thunderbolt mini DisplayPort

full-sized HDMI proprietary charger which I'm gonna point out check this out

guess which power brick is more powerful yeah it's a smaller one right you knew I

was gonna say this previous power brick I think is 150 I'm not sure I look it up

but this new one is 180 watts and it's actually smaller than the previous model

that put out less power so they've said hey we we've

heard you you want smaller power bricks so they paid Delta to make a smaller one

let's look at the ports on the other side and I think we're gonna be done to

USB Taipei's USB probably 10 gig a full size Ethernet port and actually msi said

they made it a point they wanted this thing to be a little bit thicker because

they wanted to put a full size Gigabit Ethernet a port on there they don't want

to deal with dongles none of that stuff - this is interesting you still get your

dual analog nice audio nice uh Dynaudio a new gamer mode so it actually sets up

and changes the key profile for when you're playing a game your fire pup G it

actually lights up the keys the way it's supposed to be they've in fact preset

that up killer net 1550 AC 2x2 part and what else I think that's it I gotta say

that's a big upgrade again we're looking smaller faster not cheaper but easier to

service in wolf - the famous GS 63 I love that laptop it was really at the

time a trend-setting laptop this looks like a worthy successor and I like the

design nice you convince your boss yeah I got there is a GPU acceleration in

Excel now I got to do some WebGL oh okay talk to purchasing oh I need a match q

I've heard about that okay fine nice cool we'll check back in when we get a

chance to test it and we will get a review model come back to PC worldcom to

see the formal review let's see if it's all that

Gigabyte Aero 15 preview: A 6-core beast with a 144Hz screen - Duration: 10:50.

hey there nerds guess what gigabyte has Intel's new 6th

core coffee Lake CPU - and none other than one of my favorite laptops from

last year this is the gigabyte Aero 15 + 15 X this particular one is the Aero 15

you know it and love it it basically has inside of it the previous I'd of it has

a 6 core Core i7 8750 H that's base clock 2.2 which

obviously is gonna be worst case scenario and up to four point one

gigahertz I'm gonna guess you know it's really

gonna be buzzing along at 3-5 mid threes all the time CPU of course is a big deal

6 cores unlocked which I did not realize is actually an unlocked processor in

here nice probably not gonna overclock in this platform it's not really made

for that kind of heavy duty thermals but that means other coffee Lake laptops

that have bigger heat pipes that are just larger might be able to overclock

in fact I'm told they get they're getting decent clocks out of some of

them this particular model graphics ID no real changes arrow 15 you get a full

tilt 1066 gig not a max Q part arrow 15 X you get a 1070 max Q but there are a

lot of changes besides the CPU in this laptop batteries still the same one of

the best features 94 watt hours which in my testing of the arrow 15 and the arrow

15 X gave me spectacular run time you're basically looking at all day use of a

gaming laptop for non gaming purposes fire up that GPU that battery would be

dead an hour but it really is a very usable laptop for other purposes if

you're not firing up the GPU screen also changed previous version had an MBA

panel this new one when you turn this on this new one isn't as a 10 1080p 14

1080p hundred in front of us get this right 1080p 144 Hertz IPS panel

so the previous version was MBA this one is IPS which of course is always gonna

be better and make sure there's nothing important on here

it is also 144 Hertz it also does have still has a Pantone X right calibration

so will come pre calibrated from the factory think about really says hey this

is a gaming laptop it's got gaming chops with a 1070 max-q

with a 1060 but we know your boss is not going to approve buying a gaming laptop

you buy this for work content creation that kind of stuff and you're getting a

great laptop there are six cores gaming GPU for consecration folks there's also

a UHS to card support which atom crowd tell you that's better right I don't

even know I don't do that stuff can't afford I buy the cheap stuff on Amazon

and I'm used to the good stuff basically a lot faster SD cards so besides the

screen what else has changed let's see the logo has changed right yeah the logo

has actually changed the arrow it's still arrow there's also now this led

which was there previously only controlled the brightness of the screen

and now also controls the brightness of the keyboard oh yeah so they can it can

crank it up or down and oh it's also interestingly the weight of this laptop

is down beside even though you're getting six cores at a pretty high clock

at ten seventy max you or 1060 it's actually a little lighter

apparently the previous version was four point six pounds this one is four point

four pounds it's also a little bit thinner that's about a tenth of an inch

of thinner than the previous version that's kind of like well where'd that

come from because you're getting more power more performance it's thinner and

lighter gigabyte tells me it's all in this panel apparently that mva panel in

the previous version was a little thick this one's thinner same vendor I believe

but apparently it is a true IPS as in they can call an IPS but I don't think

it's a sharp branded IPS panel I'm still sorting that out but it is definitely

different so we have type eight ports oh yeah let's go let's do the ports we get

to Taipei both of them are now ten gig we get

full-on Thunderbolt 3 which is a full buy for implementation if you want to

know you're that kind of person power brick 150 watts on the arrow fifteen

hundred and eighty watts on the arrow fifty next I believe looks like a king

Kensington lock here is your UHS two slot for your

content creators doing your video editing on your six core CPU you ain't

doing that and your macbook pro hdmi 2.0 meaning DisplayPort 1.4 previously we

had mini DisplayPort 1.3 another USB 3 USB USB 3 one full 10 gig in fact this

is in fact built into the chipset now that is actually part of the chipset in

the new coffee Lake laptops because Intel is added USB 3 110 gig support and

Gigabit e analog headphone port full HTML full a thern it that's that's full

Ethernet full full HDMI I'm going to point one thing out I really want to

talk about which i think is gonna be very interesting if you wanted something

to just argue with people about this panel is 1080p it is IPS it is a hundred

and forty-four Hertz it is not g-sync I repeat it is not a

g-sync panel the msi gs70 sync panel this one is not g-sync which is gonna

make you go wah why would you have high refresh without variable refresh

gigabyte says they did it mostly for power they're the last if you're gonna

run a g-sync panel generally the last thing you want out is hooked up to that

panel on this one you're using Optimus which is cooked up to the IGP

you of course can still use your graphics card to power that but if

you're running g-sync you really have to run it straight to the video card and

they're saying because they really wanted great battery life worse because

the Aero 15 the Aero 15 X has always been known for great battery life they

decided to forego jisuk that gonna be a deal-breaker I don't know some people

might go yeah I want you think hundred forty-four Hertz what good is that but

you know I gotta say if you're running 10 1070 max-q

with a 1080p panel 144 frames per second is not going to be hard to hit on a lot

of games so yeah it's an interesting design choice I don't know

also the Oh another big change the previous model the original arrow 15 had

problems when you press too many keys at once they basically didn't expect people

to do those a Photoshop Lightroom you know control all right shift our shift

commands and it would do weird things and didn't quite work right so the arrow

15 apparent 15 X kind of corrected it the new arrow 15 new arrow 15 X

completely fixes it the keyboards are fully NK and key unlimited key rollover

right and key rollover so basically you could press every single key on this

keyboard and you won't have a problem so those people who had keyboard issues

think about it says yeah we've relay it out everything it's fixed you're not

gonna have any problems here keyboard still of course perky lighting I love

the lighting on this keyboard how does the travel feel travel has always been

really good I like the keyboard I'm not I've never been a fan of this tanky

layout I worked in accounting the zero supposed to go here not supposed to go

there it's how it goes it doesn't work this is more like a telephone keyboard

which is not that useful it's a little cramp you know ten key maybe could go

trackpad I will say on the arrow 15 original one I did have some trackpad

issues eventually but overall it's okay mostly for gaming you're gonna be using

a mouse it's hard to say off if I don't want to get it the shell itself still

aluminium it's really funny because you think it's plastic a lot of people

thought it was plastic when they first got this it's actually full aluminum and

it is also serviceable well as you can open it up anyway it's very easy to get

inside of the arrow 15 series remove the screws pull off the bottom ddr4 266 two

sodium's I think this one probably only has one sodium in it there's a second

sodium slot you can use if you want also of course to m dot two slots to expand

storage what else Dolby Atmos audio and what you want to

know most important thing is price prices have gone up a little bit

obviously or CPUs all kinds of new stuff prices

have gone up a little bit 16 gigs 512 storage 1999 with the 10 60 full on 10

60 and the 6 courtship to move up to the max Q version it's $2,300 both of those

with the 1080p IPS 144 Hertz panel and there is a full 4k version for $2,500

coming out later in the air 24 but there is a bonus if you do buy the $2,300 max

Q version which doesn't seem so bad you actually get beats headphones so these

are the new aerobee tempo nice but dre yeah beats by dre who knew who knew I

thought these are actually an Apple only kind of item but apparently they let

other people do it the cool thing is you can wear this now and you can be a

sullen teenager with I'm just gonna wear this for jewelry there you go does it

come with monster cables monster cables on the beats cable maybe that would be

the cool thing so available very soon I believe is there anything else and we'll

go on in for testing you're going for testing uh I think that's all the big

specs basically you know the message on the arrow 15 has always been really good

battery life they're saying 10 hours of battery life which if you think about it

look we're talking full-on 1066 gig performance or 1070 max-q performance

with a 6 core Intel CPU 10 hours of regular use again you fire up a game

you're not gonna see 2 hours out of any gaming laptop but uses for outlook you

uses for Photoshop a lot of things that just general use you're gonna get all

day performance basically if you're gonna work all day play at night take a

good look at the gigabyte Aero 15 Aero 15 X

Top Performing Cryptos of Q1 2018: Binance Coin & Vechain - Duration: 10:25.

What is going on snipers naive alle baby here, I hope all of y'all are enjoying your day today

Let's dive into our daily. Cryptocurrency analytics. We're gonna be talking about the top two crypto currencies of q1 of

2018 and whether or not these coins would be good for q2

2018 we're gonna be looking at the finance coin

Making some enormous gains we actually called this one out in March

and we'll talk about that and then the chain making some awesome runs of in q1 of

2018 primarily in the beginning of

2018 and we're to talk about why I think V chain might be a good steal a lot of discounted coins in all coins

Right now and if we actually transition to the percentage of total market capitalization

Dominance of Bitcoin and altcoins understand, I'm still very bullish on Bitcoin etherion and some of these larger coins

But for the first time ever typically as you all know you see this before all coins

typically act in an inverse relationship to Bitcoin and you can see how for the first time ever all coins are acting in accordance with

Bitcoin rising and dominance for the first time while Bitcoin is also rising in dominance

and if we transition to our first point the by Nance coin one of the top performers of

2018 one thing that you'll realize is it was pretty obvious that this was gonna be a top performer if y'all are getting our

Alerts on patreon y'all know I posted this on March 13th the most undervalued point

2018 being the finance coin

And I even say here I expect more upside in a new all-time high for this coin

and this was actually trade alert for those of you on our patreon and if we

Transition into the technical analysis to look at whether or not. It's a good time to get into the finance corner now

Understand you're supposed to buy the hype and sell the news if you haven't written that one down write that down because that is

Something from traditional markets that have also transitioned into the crypto markets

And it's a saying that whenever there's hype whenever you're expecting something to happen

And you know that this cent or this coin in the crypto market is involved with the hype

then it's probably a good idea to maybe lock in a small position in that coin because

Understand that fundamental analysis, also works. Just as much as technical analysis and

fundamentals are extremely important to know and the best way to keep track of that is to stay in the know and that's why we

Have programs like our patreon our Twitter our YouTube channel for y'all to stay up to date

But is it a good time to get into by Nantz or the B&B coin in my opinion no

I am now dollar cost averaging my position out as we're seeing these new highs because now that the news is gonna come out typically

Within 24 to 48 hours of their coin burn. We've seen some extreme run ups but for the first time ever

We've seen a run up before the coin, burn because people are now expecting the coin burn

expecting the news

So in my opinion you want to observe the masses and do the opposite and that's what I'm dog costs positioning up or dollar cost

Averaging my way out of this position right now just based on the RSI on the one day anything over 70 is oversold

I'm just not comfortable

buying any more at these price levels at least for now while the one day is at these really high RSI levels and

Another thing that I'd like for y'all to see here

Is that the MACD becoming extremely over stretched almost is over stretch as we saw in December when it saw its initial run up

so in my opinion

Yes, there may be some intrinsic value here

But is it a good time to get a position in maybe not but V chain is looking a little bit different

Let's transition into V Qing and looked at the coin market cap first and foremost very similar total market cap at around

1.4. Billion dollars, so

understand that V chain is

different than Finance in a lot of ways and V chain really saw its run-up because of a lot of different factors including

The Thor program where they're incentivizing individuals to hold on to ten thousand-plus

Ven coins and there's different tiers on that system if you all know about the V chain Thor program

But there's also news of their partnership with BMW

also news of Penn now being added on a new exchange, which actually

Initiated this next romp that we're seeing right now and V. Jane is an intrinsically valuable coin primarily in my opinion because of its team

Understand that sunny loot here the chief executive offer the officer if we actually pull up his LinkedIn. You can see here

He's worked for over five years with Louis Vuitton in China as an executive and because of that

Having a quarterback team having a team that can take you through the good and the bad times

And my opinion is important you need somebody with credibility for the most part

You know vitality buta in for example didn't have credibility when creating etherium

But when we're in this early adopter phase past the innovator phases we talked about the yesterday's video

It's more important to have individuals like sunny you lose credibility

in a project for it to see any sort of

speculative value because the specular value eventually turns into intrinsic value understand

It's a very complex relationship when you're looking at intrinsic value speculated value the correlations in the differences

intrinsic value can also

Exceed speculative value, but it could also be the inverse. That's why you want to be careful

You want to look for coins that are at a good price level if you're gonna put in a position. I think V

chain is looking a little bit better than buy names being one of the top two crypto currencies of q1 of

2018 heading it to q2

Retain in my opinion might be the better bet at this point if we were to drop a Fibonacci retracement here

Just to determine potential support and resistance levels we go to the top of this

Candle wicks all the way to this bottom right here, actually. We'll go down to the only known bottom

We have you can see we're finding some support right along the 0.23 and if we were to zoom in here on a 4-hour chart

Being the fact that we're at these low Fibonacci levels in my opinion

We're gonna be heading back

towards these higher Fibonacci

counts over time

Past the point three eight past two point five especially because the whole overall market is down and in my opinion fitter drop another count

Here with the Fibonacci retracement you see if we're to draw it out just from this zone right here

It's also acting in a coordinates with that Fibonacci retracements support and resistance level and in my opinion

Looking at the 1-day RSI as well being at these oversold levels

This is really what I like to see when I'm putting in a position

I like to see these significant sharp bounces at these oversold levels

Which give you more it gives you confidence that this is oversold and we are seeing

Buyers come into the market and there is strength and then looking at the MACD also in line with that

exact correlation very different than Finance whereby Nant the finance corner was over stretched on the buyers side

But this is being over stretch on the seller side and has just now seen this little

Shift in direction and the MACD the moving average Convergence divergence is a little bit of a delayed indicator

So this is a little bit, delayed. That's why we've already seen price levels increase but in my opinion

That's just the start to a coin like v chain

So where is the best position in well if we were to pull out a closer chart here?

We'll actually pull up a one-hour, and we'll look at a more

closer view here in terms of

Creating that entry point you can see we have this bull flag in my opinion forming here with support right around that

2.09 level here

And we're looking at us

Devaluation being that there is some pairings like that refining some known resistance levels right around

Two dollars and 98 cents even a big even which is three dollars understand?

You'll see resistance typically at these big evens like $3 $4 $5 especially with these lower

Cap coins so now that we've found resistance right around that $3 ratio in my opinion

Being the fact that we're in this channel now

We can wait for this hour side to probably dip a little bit lower towards that 40

Typically you'll see RSI levels find support at 40 once

They see some sort of exuberance like we saw here with the B chain

So 40 would really be this level and in my opinion dollar-cost averaging up until around this level would be smart with V

chain as it

Starts to kind of come down finding a little bit of support here where we found previous support in my opinion

This is a good entry point

You can also set up some very very close stop losses there to ensure that you're safe

And it's not going to see further loans and then one last technical indicator

I'd like to show y'all is the Fibonacci retracement here here, just pull that up

Right now to see where prices are at you can see how we're bouncing right on top of that point three eight right now

About to breach the point five which is most likely going to take us all the way up to the point seven eight I think

We'll see further resistance right over along this level here of three point two two which would be

$3.22 and in my opinion along these levels would be good

Dollar cost average out wait for another pullback and then continue to swing trade this on the way up

And then you see this huge spike in volume

awesome, right

Yeah for sure the reason we see this is because it was just listed on the new exchange and

with that being said I think that V Ching and BM B and the buy nance coin are

Extremely good points to watch in 2018 I think V

Chain is just in a better position right now for an entry point than the B&B coin is however

The coin burn is coming up April 15th, so you never know BnB might skyrocket as well

that's why I dollar-cost average when I'm taking my profits, but

Hopefully y'all were able to make some profits with our finance coin

Call early in March, but if not stay tuned er sniper soon

Draw Tip Tuesday: Two-toned color log - Duration: 3:09.

welcome to drill tip Tuesday here's your weekly dose of inspiration to build a

creative habit one drawing at a time brought to you by schedule school today

I'll fill a page using just a black pen and one color

I found this molotov marker in one of my art supplies stashes so I thought I

could give it a go as I hardly ever use it you can buy these markers without

anything in them and then fill them with colored ink any color you like of course

this one's filled with yellow and I love that just because it's such a sunny and

bright color so today let's draw what was for breakfast shall we

starting with coffee seems a good idea you can draw from imagination or from

observation or mix the two I'll add a long shadow it gives quite the dramatic

effect doesn't it I'll draw a gas water

the banana I ate drawing the shadow for that one is actually quite tricky

drawing these long shadows really makes you think about the shape and lighting

you can also draw other stuff that involves your breakfast this morning

like the chair you sat on again a bit of a challenge to draw that shadow from

imagination

I had a soft-boiled egg this morning so I'll add that too and if I would have a

cat I'm pretty sure it would have been napping in the Morning Sun I'll add a

banner just because it's fun I'll write a title on it but you can use a banner

also to write the date of your sketchbook entry for example I feel this

space needs to be filled so I'll draw a spoon there now let's add that dash of

color no need to draw inside the lines outside is a lot more fun the color

really brightens up the page now assess your page maybe it needs a little extra

you can draw some more in the leftover white spaces or at a bit of lettering

just until the balance of the page feels right now go and draw your breakfast -

using just a pen and one color and see how you can fill up your page have fun

and if you need more inspiration sign up for an online class at sketchbookskool.com

Popular Internet & Computer Symbols to Improve Your Vocabulary - Duration: 6:59.

Today I'm going to talk to you about some common

internet symbols that you probably see every day

and what those words are in English.

That's coming up.

So most of us use the internet every day.

Most of us probably use it too much.

So we see these symbols all the time.

These are symbols that are on the keyboard, but maybe you don't know what these names are in English.

And it's important to know the names because if we're

communicating with somebody else, especially in business.

We need to be able to tell people the right information.

Even for something as simple as giving out

your email address, you need to know these symbols.

What are these words? We need to know these words.

So I'm going to tell you.

So the first symbol that I want to talk to you about is this one, right here.

And if you've studied English grammar you may be

looking at this and thinking well, it's just a period.

Or maybe it's a full stop.

Well, it's neither one of those.

If we're talking about it as an internet symbol, it is just a dot.

When you see this if you're looking at a website

or talking about an email address, you would just say dot.

Dot. Dot. Dot. Dot.

This is a dot. So say dot.

The next symbol, this one right here, is also used

when we're talking about email addresses.

And you would just say "At."

If you're saying this symbol, you just say "At."

It's like you're pointing somebody to a specific location.

Where is it at?

So for example, if I were to give you our email address,

I would say it is....

Where can you find it?

You can find it at gmail.

And then everything pretty much always ends with a dot something.

All email addresses and most web addresses end with .com

But there are other dots out there.

But that is how you would correctly say your email address or or somebody else's email address.

At something, dot something.

Now, perhaps the most common internet symbol

that we use, and people even talk about this symbol nowadays is this one right here.

And it is called a hashtag.

And we use a hashtag as a way of labeling a conversation or labeling a topic.

Most of the time when we post stuff on Facebook

and Twitter, we will use a hashtag to identify that it's from us, Interactive English.

Just do a search, #InteractiveEnglish. See what you find.

Another symbol you might see is this line right here, and this is called an underscore.

Now this line is low. It's at the bottom because it's used

to underline words or phrases in order to give emphasis.

And I think it's more common that people use

an underscore in documents or passwords if they

want to make it look like there's a space in between the words.

So for example, I could write...

And now it looks like there's a space between the two words.

And that sometimes makes it just a little bit easier to read.

Next is a slash.

And a slash...we can make it a little more specific

and say a backslash or a forward slash.

Often times you don't actually have to say this word.

But it's always good to know what it means.

If I have a Documents folder, I'm looking for a specific file.

And you could say, well it's in...

That would be how to find this video.

Another internet symbol that you will encounter from time to time is this one right here.

And it is called an asterisk.

And we use an asterisk mostly to kind of make

a note about something, maybe a footnote.

Sometimes when you guys write a sentence in the comments like we asked you to do

I might point out a correction and use an asterisk

to make a note about that correction, so that you are aware of it.

Another symbol that you might see from time to time is this one right here.

And this is a hyphen.

If this is a longer line, then it would be called a dash.

So a hyphen is the shorter one.

A dash is the longer one.

Now, you're probably wondering...

What the hell is the difference between a hyphen and a dash?

Well a hyphen, which is the shorter line, is used to join two words.

And these could be compound adjectives like...

We could also use it with compound nouns.

A dash, on the other hand, which is that longer line, is used when we want

to add comments, statements, or emphasis to a sentence.

And there is a space on either side of a dash.

Another internet symbol that you'll see on your keyboard is this one right here.

And the caps lock just means that all the letters that you type are going to be capital letters.

We're using capital letters, maybe to give emphasis to something.

But caps lock is just a way of making sure that everything we type is in capital letters.

Another symbol that you might see from time to time this one right here.

And these are just called brackets.

And we use brackets...we put information inside them.

Now I don't think brackets are as common as these right here, which are parentheses.

So when we're putting information inside, and we want

to contain it inside an area, we mostly just use parentheses.

But in case you see these somewhere, they are called brackets.

I hope that you're able to learn some new words today, some of these internet symbols.

And if you have any other questions let us know in the comments.

If there are other symbols, and you want to know what this word is in English

write the symbol in the comments and we will let you know.

If you enjoyed this lesson, please share it with anybody

you know who's trying to improve their English skills.

As always, thanks so much for watching and I'll see you next time.

Therapies for organisational pathologies - A course with Javier Fernández Aguado | B-Talent - Duration: 2:10.

Have you stopped to think about what state of health your organisation is in?

Like people, organisations can be healthy or ill.

Did you know that a company can suffer from many illnesses, obesity,

stress, blindness, schizophrenia and impotence?

For example, an organisation can suffer from anaemia when there is a

reduction in commitment and from arthritis when the company is unable to

adapt to new realities.

The problem arises when that condition is not diagnosed or is diagnosed too late.

They say that the best diagnostic test is an autopsy.

However, that is of little use as it implies that it has come too late.

The early diagnosis of illnesses that your organisation suffers from will

help you to consider the effective treatment for its survival and even

for its growth.

To identify and discover the symptoms of the possible illnesses that

organisations may suffer from and to propose the best treatments for such

pathologies, I designed the Therapies for Organisational Pathologies

model.

The model helps to identify, among other aspects, the type of illness

that the company suffers from, its seriousness and source, what organs

are affected and the chance of recovery.

As such, an effective treatment may be prescribed and preventive, and

healing and palliative measures may be applied.

If you would like to learn, practice and strengthen the key behaviours

for applying the model, I encourage you to start this training itinerary.

3 Steps to Engage your Audience - Duration: 3:14.

Hi!

I'm Sharon Jurd and welcome to my Biz Blitz video and today I want to talk to you about

three easy steps to engage your audience.

I want to explain something here.

As a speaker, your audience might be one person, ten people, five hundred people or five thousand

people.

What your audience is to you is different to other people.

Today, I want to talk to you about how to engage your audience.

Firstly, you need to know who your audience is.

Who are you talking to?

What are their demographics?

What are their backgrounds?

If you are going in and talking to people about giving up smoking and there are no smokers

in the room, you can bash around all day long but they are not going to be interested, engaged,

or wanting to hear from you again.

So make sure the message you are sending and sharing with them is relevant.

Secondly, know their pain.

What is their pain?

If they are at A and they need to get to B, you need to know what A is so you can really

empathise with them and really give them some great strategies around some outcomes.

If you don't know what their pain is, then you may be talking to them about something

that is not relevant to them.

You can stand up all day and talk about how great you are but you've got to identify

the pain they have so then you can really relate to them and they can really relate

to you.

Thirdly, show them hope.

Show them that you do have the strategies, that you do have the systems, the processes,

the knowledge, the expertise even, to actually help them.

Some people can be in a place, like Place A, and see no hope of that changing and you

really need to give them some hope because if you've got a system or a way for them

to change their life, you really need to show them that there is hope out there for them

to make a change.

So there are my steps for you today.

One, know who your audience is.

Don't talk to people who are not interested in what you've got to say.

Secondly, know their pain so you can talk about something that is relevant to them.

And thirdly, show them some hope.

If they can see that there's a way of changing where they are now then they'll make that

change in their life, whether it be with you or with someone else.

I'm Sharon Jurd.

I hope this has been of value today.

If you think that this would be of value to your friends, family and colleagues, please

share my video.

I want to help as many people as I can and I need your help to do that.

Thank you again, I'm Sharon Jurd and we'll talk soon.

Yasuko Kimura Soke - Tendo Ryu Sogobujutsu [Interview Part 2/2 - EN/FR/JP] - Duration: 21:42.

Our family house had a dojo attached to it,

and in the beginning I wanted to practice Kendo.

When I told to my mother about it, she told me that girls practice Naginata.

There was a Dojo called "Shubukan", in Itami, and I was part of the first generation of its Naginata club.

I was in 6th grade.

From then I didn't stop practicing Atarashii Naginata.

From a very young age, at Shubukan during events,

many teachers would come to teach Tendo Ryu.

Even if they were not regular trainings of Tendo Ryu.

I went to university in Tokyo, and that's when I had the opportunity to practice Tendo Ryu.

Since I preferred Tendo Ryu over Atarashii Naginata,

I continued my training.

Then I started teaching at the "International Budo University",

on the one hand I was teaching Atarashii Naginata,

and also, thanks to extracurricular activities, Tendo Ryu on the other,

three times a week.

So I could train in many various ways,

and I kept that habit when I became a teacher myself.

In the end, I continued to go to the Shubukan twice a month

when the former Soke was there.

Since I was invited,

I used to go twice a month,

and I have to say that at the time I was practicing wholeheartedly.

Then...

The Soke passed away, and there was a three-year break,

after which I was offered her position by the professors of the comittee.

Well, the more I was practicing, the more I was making interesting discoveries,

and the true feeling of satisfaction it brought me was appealing to me.

In competitions [Atarashii Naginata], you have to win,

it's the goal you have to reach,

but it was not really bringing me pleasure.

No, actually, my only experience of modern Budo, in a way,

is from Ogasawara Ryu's ceremonies when I was studying at university.

It has a strict code that requires students, whatever their activity, that they learn how to move around according to protocol.

So I was taking those lessons myself, too.

The practice of Tendo Ryu and Budo are indeed at the center of my life.

My mother herself graduated from the "Busen" training center (ancient pro school specialized in martial arts),

I always had a deep respect for her and here righteousness,

and I practiced Budo with a desire to get as close as possible to that character I admire.

That's why, well...

I want everybody to see me as an active and impeccable practitioner.

That's, I think, something that is allowed by the practice of Tendo Ryu,

and I wish to pass those values on to my students.

Currently, they all tell me that the lessons are nice,

so I am very happy.

When it comes to Kobudo, and depending on what you study,

were you a beginner that came for a try,

or, of course, a more experienced practitioner,

I consider, as a teacher, that there are always so many things to learn.

Actually, my students give me their opinion when they notice something,

for instance when my posture is not correct,

they don't hesitate to tell me,

so it makes me think about the way I teach,

and for me today, it is very interesting,

and quite moving.

And in the end, thanks to that emotion...

I think that I become more aware of myself and of the teachings that my lessons bring me.

Yes, I can feel when someone is under the weather,

and that's not specifically thanks to the practice of Budo,

but I developed a sensibility.

I think that with some training we can overcome our negative thoughts,

but to explain such a thing to people...

it is very difficult, because each individual has their own emotional outlet, or stress-relieving method,

but I think that the joy you feel when swinging the Tachi (long sword) and the Naginata

and the bond that links you with your partner,

that can bring you some peace when you're troubled.

It's something you have to pay attention to,

not only as an instructor,

but also to one another, and that's how you mutually develop your sensibility.

At "Busen", I mean, at the Butoku Kai, Naginata was taught as an academic subject.

As for Tendo Ryu, it was transmitted from master to apprentice at the time.

but it was abandoned when Naginata became an academic subject.

Professor Mitamura Chiyo, who was teaching at the Butoku Kai, tried to oppose that change,

and she resigned her seat in the organization

to create her own private lessons by herself.

Well, it's true that wood used today is different from the old day; it's not dried enough and sometimes it warps.

Even though their prices went up, wooden weapons lose their shape quicker,

so much so that the Hozoin school bought a plot of land in the mountains last year to plant oak trees,

so that in about 50 years they can produce quality spears.

Transporting those long weapons is also an issue, both in Japan and abroad.

That's why...

they could think of weapons that could be taken apart, or something like this.

But for Naginata, we use all the parts to strike: the tip, the middle and the "Ishizuki",

If we were to assemble the Naginata, there would be weak points

so it's not possible.

My mother's Naginata, which is in Kansai, isn't warped at all.

My mother would be about a hundred years old if she were still alive, and I think she was already using it when she was a student.

The specialists I consulted on the subject told me that it had been dried naturally,

and that to make such a weapon today with that kind of material would cost tens of thousands of Yen (hundreds of dollars).

It's a magnificent weapon.

Besides, we wear gloves.

We are looking for quality gloves, but nobody makes them anymore.

Well yes, I was teaching at the "International Budo University" and at the "Seishin Joshi Daigaku" (university for women).

I did not have any other profession.

Most of them are volunteers,

which means they don't get any income.

There is an organization called the "Japanese Culture Successors' Association"

and if it were to establish a payment system, we could take care of the next generations' training.

However, well...

As the saying goes, "a Bushi (warrior) should eat too",

and if most of the instructors teach voluntarily for now,

that situation will probably be a problem in the future

and one should be able to make a living out of teaching Naginata.

Even with the organization of competitions,

or with manga about Naginata such as Asahi Nagu, which had a great success on TV,

we will never make any profit.

The only benefit is to make us known better.

Women, because of marriage, motherhood, children's education, and also supporting their own parents,

they don't have much time for themselves anymore.

Some of them who could compete in their youth

but who had to stop to take care of their children or parents, they wish to start again,

and they come back to us little by little to practice.

In that way, we can say that Naginata has a depth that is attractive for them.

Recently we have organized more and more Tendo Ryu trainings for beginners.

Practitioners appreciate those a lot,

and we have had very positive feedback, so I'm quite happy about it.

Those who also practice at the All Japan Naginata Federation

are very busy with competitions, refereeing, rank exams, etc.

So in a way it's beginners who are the most devoted to their practice [of Tendo Ryu].

Well actually, we would like to find sponsors, or at least people to support us.

I am in touch with the International Naginata Federation, and they say that overseas too,

to promote Naginata is costly and therefore difficult.

That's why I think it's important to find sponsors to support us,

but they are hard to find.

Several foreigners come to train in Japan before going home to teach by themselves.

The Nippon Budokan has been organizing for a while the "Kokusai Budo Bunka Seminar",

which are aimed at an international audience.

On that occasion we also teach Naginata,

and foreigners, actually, are showing admirable commitment that you cannot find with Japanese.

In that regard, actually,

I wonder why Japanese lack that spirit.

For instance, when I practice with Alex, I can feel a level of commitment and earnestness

that Japanese don't have I think.

So I think that we have to train those practitioners very conscientiously,

and it would be a terrible waste not to do so.

I urge them to do all they can to come.

I want them to know that Naginata is a very enjoyable martial art

for men as well as women.

[Jordy: Even if they don't speak Japanese?]

Yes, even if they don't speak Japanese.

Even in that case,

it wouldn't be a problem.

I really have to say... I really have to say that Tendo Ryu is a great and thorough practice.

After all, it has been invented and founded by our ancestors,

and everyday I reflect that it is something truly exceptional.

Robin Hoedjes - Sweet Revelution - Duration: 3:26.

At first I was always hesitant with color use.

Very important is that it radiates something and that it pops out of your store.

And then use of color is ... but also decoration important. That is the first thing you see.

We are here in Noordwijk at Huize van Wely. We are now 100 years old.

We have an assortment with 4 classic and 4 modern. And then we look, which goes worst.

Then it goes out and the new one goes into the assortment.

That's how we always look, what's the best thing to do. And that remains.

And then the old ones go out.

It is nice to develop my own form for the first time.

We started with the caramel. Making the praline. Caramel with nuts, 50/50.

Then grind and turned to oil in the grinder.

To a liquid mass.

That mixed with a little milk chocolate and cocoa butter.

We let that harden as a filling and you get a very soft creamy hazelnut taste.

And it is special that you make everything from head to toe.

We are going to make a decoration. A chocolate decoration.

Something I do a lot ... and also is my specialty.

The cooking world is of course much more ... as we call it chefs style.

There is not one plate in the store ... but there are ...

... 5 different or 10 different pastries in a row.

So then you also want to have them all the same.

So it can not look like this one time and the other one like that. Or one larger and the other smaller.

It must always be the same.

If you only make one small mistake.

Then, for example, these decorations turn white.

Or they do not shine nicely.

Or they are not even.

Or they are a little too big, then they do not fit in the box.

So there are so many facets where it matters ... that it therefore tends to perfection.

And that you are also looking for that.

We are now making the famous presidential curl.

Or the Pierrot.

All about the right timing.

Until the right temperature and the right hardness of the chocolate is there.

And then I take this palette knife and make a nice curl.

Very classic way, classic finish. But very chic.

And also very technical.

We are now doing the decoration, the finishing touch, the cake.

For that I use a little silver leaf.

Important is the taste, textures that we have made in the cake.

But the eye also wants something. The first sense where it begins.

First appearance, then you see colors.

First you see design, then you see colors and then of course you start to taste. And that is ultimately the most important thing.

I think it is important to get specialism.

I believe that the supermarkets and large chains are getting better.

Machines are getting better.

But they also have the money to hire professionals to teach them the trade.

Then to copy to a machine or that it can be rational.

And that is why you have to look out as a company or as a person, that you are specializing somewhere.

And doing that very well. That is why I entered the luxury segment.

11 Ways to Overcome a 1-Star Review for House Cleaning - Duration: 11:25.

How do you get rid of a one-star review?

We're going to talk about that today.

Hi there, I'm Angela Brown and this is Ask A House Cleaner.

This is a show where you get to ask a house cleaning question

and I get to help you find an answer.

Now today's show is brought to us by HouseCleaning360.com

which is a 360 view of the perfect home.

Now, when you set up your business, at HouseCleaning360.com

there's a section for ratings and reviews.

These are not ratings from customers necessarily, but it's from your business fan page,

so you can have cousins and aunts and uncles and parents and anybody that can give you a character

reference or that can recommend you to someone to do business with, this is where they put

their ratings and reviews for you.

So this goes beyond to just your customers who have done business with you, but people

who know you in other areas of life.

This is helpful in case there are people who want to know your character before they hire

you or bring you into their home.

All right, HouseCleaning360.com

Now onto today's show, which is about how do you get rid of a one-star review?

All right, so there are websites like Google and Yelp, that allow you to have customer

ratings and reviews that are on a scale of 1 to 5.

Now, these became really popular 10-15 years ago on sites like Amazon and eBay, where we

counted on the ratings and reviews before we did business with people, sight unseen.

All right, so this is a little bit different because this is not somebody shipping us something,

this is actually somebody coming into our home to help us with cleaning, okay?

So if we give ratings and reviews for our customers coming into our home, we want to

make sure that the cleaning that they're offering is in fact what they say it's going to be.

All right now, what's really interesting, when you get a one-star review, the very first

thing that happens is you want to get really angry, like, oh my goodness I can't believe

they don't appreciate my work, then you get all bent out of shape at the things that they said.

Okay, so stop for just a second.

When you get a one-star rating and review, there's actually a process to go through.

Process number one, stop.

Take your emotions out of the picture and step aside, okay?

So pretend this is not about you and your company.

Pretend it's about someone else.

Now the reason I say that is this if you can pretend this is one-star rating and review

is about someone else, you can look at it a little bit objectively instead of taking

it all personally.

Cause it's not personal, it's business.

It's a business transaction somebody didn't like.

That's it, that's all it is.

All right, the next thing I want you to do, is I want you to be empathetic.

I want you to think in the back of your mind, what if this is particular customer was my

mom or my grandma?

And you start thinking about this, oh she paid $200 dollars, she had a cleaning service

come over and after the cleaning service left, she found a hair behind her bathroom door,

because there was a hair behind her bathroom door on the floor, she assumed that there

were other parts of the house that where not clean or that were skipped.

And so, I can understand she paid all this money and there was a hair so she just had

these assumptions.

Now you can start feeling sorry for the customer and you can be a little bit more empathetic

as to where they're coming from.

All right the next thing I need you to do, this is step number three, is look at the

complaint, because guess what?

One star ratings and reviews, don't write themselves.

Lots of people will let stuff slide, and they kind of skip over stuff and go, well, not

what I was hoping for, they didn't do a very good job, whatever.

And they will let inadequate or average service slide.

So, if you get a one-star rating and review, that should be a wakeup call, like holy crap

what did we do wrong?

Right?

And if you have excellent customer service, you should be able to resolve this very quickly.

Now on your initial walkthrough, and this goes back before step number four, but on

your initial walkthrough, what you may want to do, is ask the customer, "Hey we specialize

in customer service.

If for any reason at any time you're not satisfied with our service, will you tell me before

you tell your social media?

Before you give me a rating and review online, will you tell me?

Because I would love to make it right personally."

Now, if you've explained that to your customer in your initial walkthrough when the opportunity

comes for them to call you and say, "Hey.

You need to give me my satisfaction guarantee and come back and clean this house."

There are already rules in place for that.

You're going to come back within 24 hours and you're going to make it right.

But if the first time you're hearing about the problem is on social media in a one-star

review, there's more than just one problem, okay?

You didn't explain very clearly about your customer service

and about your satisfaction guarantee.

All right, so then number four.

What you do when you get one?

Is if you have excellent customer service and you have already gone through the stepping

aside and looking at it from an empathetic situation, all right, now what you need to

do is to address the concern, because there is a one-star rating and review that's floating

around out there and it could bring your business down.

I don't say take it lightly if it's not to be taken lightly.

If it's rating and review of hate, which sometimes it is, that needs to be addressed.

Why does a customer hate you so bad?

Now I got one-star rating and review once from my consulting services.

The woman said it was the best consulting she'd ever had and she had some amazing things

that she was able to implement that skyrocketed her business

and she gave me a one-star rating and review.

When you look at that, there's nothing to correct.

You look at it and go, "Oh the woman got confused.

Instead of giving five stars, she gave one star."

So it wasn't even worth contacting her and saying, "Hey can you change that because you

give me a one-star rating and review, you're so confused."

Anyone reading the rating and review could have gone, "Ha ha ha, okay whatever."

So people will read the ratings and reviews, they do.

We read them on Trip Advisors before we take a trip.

We read them on Amazon before we buy products and it's amazing how many people won't go

to a restaurant if it has bad ratings and reviews.

So the ratings and reviews are paramount to the success of your business.

All right so when you address the rating and review, it's important that you address it

from a kind perspective.

This is why we take ourselves out of the situation, because whether you like it or not, whether

you admit it or not, whether you agree with me or not, is irrelevant.

You are the voice of your business.

You are the brand.

And so you need to be professional and kind no matter what you say.

So it's easy to fire back at the customer and go, "You don't know what you're talking about.

Our people were there for four hours."

Don't.

Please don't do that.

Acknowledge the customer had a concern because in the customer's mind, it's very real.

And so if it is a real customer, this is not a fake review, but if it is a real customer

that had a real situation, own it.

Take a 100% responsibility and say, "Oh my goodness, I can't believe we did this.

We must have had a day where we human.

I am so sorry you had to experience this.

In all fairness, we've never cleaned a house before with seven dogs running around and

so, we underestimated how things might slide or scoot or whatever and that hair would be

left when we were done.

We are so sorry.

We would have loved the chance to have heard this directly from you instead of reading

about it a week later on an online review.

We would have loved to resolve this immediately."

And so, you give the customer an opportunity of an out.

You want to acknowledge their pain.

You want to admit that something was wrong and you want to say, "We would have loved

the opportunity to make it right.

We specialize in customer service and we work off of referral only.

And so our reputation is our pride and so if we missed something, we want to be the

first ones to know about it, because we will do whatever it takes to make it right.

By the way, we would love to offer you a free cleaning at no expense because you had such

a terrible experience.

please give us a call and let us make that right."

All right, now the reason I say that is this, you don't want to throw your whole business

reputation away for a lousy $200 dollars or whatever it was of the cost of the cleaning.

You want to make sure that you make it right with the customer because a lot of times,

they will come back and say, "Oh my goodness, the owner of the company called me and they

made it right and no hard feelings, all is forgiven," whatever and then they will change

their rating and review.

Now, the next thing that I would like to recommend because there are so many people that rely

on ratings and reviews, you want to make sure that you have the best opportunity to get

a rating and review.

So if you have one bad star rating and review, you can counterbalance that with 95 good ones

and then people are going to go, wow.

But for most of the time, there's a really good experience.

So what I recommend is picking a website, Yelp, Google, HouseCleaning360, whatever your

site is, where you're promoting your business and get a QR code of your listing.

I'll put links in the show notes to the QR codes so you can make your own.

And then make up a business card that has your business name, your phone number, your

information and your QR code, and then give it to the customer and say, "Listen, if we

make a mistake, gosh, I hope we don't but we're human and we might make a mistake one

day, will you please give us the opportunity first before you tell your friends?

The information to call me is right here.

The day that we please and delight you, there's a QR code right here.

Scan this with your cell phone, it'll take you directly to the site and you can leave

us a positive rating and review.

So if you're not happy, call this side of the card, if you are happy, call this side

of the card."

And you can ask every customer for a positive rating and review and if they don't give it

to you today, they can keep the card and give it to you in two weeks or a month or a year

from now, when they're familiar with your service and they're comfortable with you and

they like and they've had a pleasant experience.

But before they go to social media, before the blast you to their friends, before they

leave you a bad rating and review.

Let them give you the chance to call you first.

And when they call you don't, please don't be defensive.

Be accepting and say, "Hey I understand there was a situation here.

As the owner, I'm willing to give it whatever it takes to make this situation right.

What do we need to do?"

And then ask this question, here are the magic words, "What do you think is fair?"

Because when you ask a customer what they think is fair, sometimes what they think is

fair, sometimes what they're going to say is, "Well, I'll just pick up the hair behind

the bathroom door and from now on just pay attention."

Or they might say, "No, come over and clean up the hair that's behind my bathroom door."

They're not going to say, "Come over and re-clean my whole house for free."

That's not fair but when you let them decide what's fair, often times it's something very

small, it's a small concession.

What they're saying is I want to be heard, and I want to be acknowledged and I want to

get value for the money that I paid.

That's it.

Most people are fair and that's all they want.

So that's how you get rid of and overcome and deal with one-star ratings and reviews.

All righty until we meet again,

leave the world a cleaner place than when you found it.

Currencies tied to the pound - Duration: 7:06.

so hello people are you going today I have the coins of Jersey and Falklands

but I'll talk a little bit more apart from those 200 it's a UK protectorates

mmm day of different status in the Uniting well well it's a connection to

United Kingdom because they're actually not part of the United Kingdom anyway my

name is Glen and I like to show you different aspects bit currency from

around the world at different time periods and today well we're going to

talk a little bit about these coins here now these coins are the same size as the

coins of the United Kingdom in which coincidentally Kingdom do circulate

freely and as a legal tender within these countries or Ireland states

whatever you want to call and they but these coins are not legal tender in the

United Kingdom now these places are not part of the United Kingdom so you had

the Falkland Islands which is near South America then if you ever heard about

Falkland war in 1982 the Argentina in the UK fort then you would have someone

dear and these ones are the Channel Islands and everyone is goons and they

also issue their own coins in there the same sizes as the UK now there are ever

places they issue the issue coins same size as the UK and they are Gibraltar

Isle of Man Saint Helena and Saint Helena is halfway between Argentine I'm

not Argentina South America and Africa although many seen between the UK or

Great Britain which is the island in Ireland

Gibraltar is in the southern tips of self of Spain and it's actually laying

connected to sprain so it's a mainly Europe so we have a New Jersey coins

actually show lots of portraits of buildings so we have the there Hawk

Tower the hermitage of st. Helena the same war tower in the core pierde

lighthouse okay this coin is actually five new pens as

you can see 1968 so the coins of Jersey were also at the same dates as the UK so

this one would have been replaced as a one shilling Anisha can see the Falkland

him pence is pretty similar in size and there was a size reduction in UK 1994 do

you take five pence and 1992 for the ten beds and these coins are actually in

copper nickel these ones arena mmm kool-aid still so yeah Falkland Islands

coins shows animals so this one's a game to penguins the uplands or Macallan

Bruce Lee black-browed albatross so it's a large bird actual leaves are any

Antarctic there's lots of species and generally a powerful nesting they

usually leave if on the water or in flight and the quite a large bird to

penguins you know there's many different species

only live in the southern hemisphere and you like cold water goose goose all over

the world okay then we have the signed seal which

lives around the Antarctic area mainly on the ons

here we have a Romney mouth shape which is a shape on the Falkland Islands

because the fucking islands he's um

it's not close to cheating taktik and it's very cold

do you hear so much crop agriculture they're mainly just grazing agriculture

but they were great some type of fruits and vegetables it's not that barbaric so

here I have the offices of these coins and as you can see the coins of Jersey

have our free different types of obverses so they have queen elizabeth ii

well so does fork on islands but this one yearly once had the dates on the

bottom the earliest ones had the date on you ever saw it for the coat of arms and

this is the current issue with the moon one of the current queens heads and

apparently no other country is actually gonna adopt a queen head that the UK has

the fuckin islands all these coins are pretty much the same as this and the

coin is to protect that of these islands now the mintage figure foot is our coins

well the jersey coins it's pretty hard because it has a high tourist population

so it's going t not too short on old men or to both other than of the mintage

figures nipples Falkland Islands but generally fucking islands is not a

tourist place and the population is only like two or three thousand I think so

Jim mintage of these coins is actually pretty low in the last coins minted word

2011 for these ones in 2004 for the high denominations

Kubota presume the mintage is higher because gets a lot of tourists in st.

Helena's probably low because well middle of the bloody inland Atlantic say

who the hell's gonna go yeah so those are the coins they look like York a

coins but they are not thank very much watching you have an awesome coin

collecting time then well if you're not interested in these type of coins

maybe you should they're quite an interesting set again okay bye bye

Smart Watch for $40? The No.1 G6 Smart Watch REVIEW - Duration: 5:24.

Hi this is Phil from Make Tech Easier and welcome to our review of the Number 1

G6 smart watch. Smart watches, smart bands, exercise helpers of all other kinds of

wrist wearable tech is very hot right now. Most tech manufacturers by this

point make at least one smart watch. There are also various standards to

which certain makers adhere; the Apple watch of course, the Android watch and

then there are a variety of OEM or Original Equipment Manufacturer watches,

most of which seem to use the MTK2502 platform, or similar. The G6 is one of

these. Now then the point of a Smart Watch is on some level or other to be a sensor

bundle on your wrist, which talks to a phone or a computer to collect and

analyze your data. The watches collect steps, heart rate

and a handful of other metrics. They are also sometimes a half-decent watch!

Sometimes they also act as a remote for your phone and camera. Now good

smart watches are very expensive, over $100 and sometimes more like 400. But the

G6 is very reasonably priced in the range from about 38 - 40 dollars. At

this price it's easy to assume that the device will be cheap and not very useful.

But let's find out . . . What you get. In the Box is the watch, an

instruction book and a cable for charging the watch. The build quality of

the watch is pretty good it feels quite heavy and solid in the hand and the unit

supplied to us had a very soft but durable silicone wristband in a two-tone

red and black. The watch is available in with a range of different bands both

silicon and metal. The screen is a circular color LCD and there are two

control buttons on the right hand side. Before using the unit you need to charge

the watch to make sure it has a full charge. When charged you can press the

bottom button on the side to turn the unit on. Press the button a long time

and the watch will vibrate when it turns on.

G6 in use. Cosmetically the watch is quite stylish and simple. It's about the

same size as a regular watch, which is good because sometimes budget electronic

watches are bit thick and clunky not very wearable. This is fine. It fits up a

sleeve and you don't keep catching it on things all the time because the case is

smooth. The case is metal with the back of the watch being a acrylic or glass.

We're guessing this is part of the heart rate sensor package. The face of the

watch is a touch screen and swiping left or right shows you screens or four icons for

the various features, six screens in all. All the usual settings like language,

find your phone (by having it make a noise),

dialler for your phone, SMS messaging, Bluetooth, camera remote shutter,

notifications, alarm, calculator, stopwatch and calendar. These are all handy things

to have on your wrist. You also have the health functions of pedometer (to count

your steps), a heart rate monitor, a sleep monitor (to check how much you move

around) and a sedentary reminder to sound an alarm if you sit still for a period

of time, which you can set to different times. The heart rate monitor uses a

green LED on the back of the watch pressed against your skin. This allows

the heart rate to be sensed through your skin and relate to the screen. To tell

the time on the watch you can either press the bottom button on the side, or

set the flip to wake feature which makes the watch wake up when you flip your wrist

up to read it. A kind of hidden feature is that you can actually add three

custom faces to the watch in the phones native VXP

app format. If you know how you can even make your own. We haven't got time to

talk about this now so we'll cover the making and installing of custom faces in

a future video. Conclusion. Considering the budget price of this device this is

a pretty decent SmartWatch. Okay it's screen is only 240 x 240, the touch

screen can be a little fiddly especially if you have big hands and it isn't an

all-purpose computer on your wrist like an Apple watch. However if you want a

decent modern watch with smart connections to your phone and the

ability to customize the face then for the price you literally can't go wrong.

Should you buy it? Well it's obviously not a serious computing tool, more of an

entertainment, but it is very entertaining. It's not expensive so

getting it for fun or for kids is not entirely out of the question. The

rating for this item is 8 out of 10. Here are the pros: it's inexpensive and yet is

good build quality and it tells time perfectly. The phone link features seems

to work quite well and it's an excellent camera trigger and phone dial. The heart

rate and pedometer features work well with the phone app, giving you a good

basis to measure your weightloss. It's very stylish, not big or clunky

and looks like a regular watch. You can install up to 3 custom faces using

the external software. And now for the cons: screen resolution is only 240 x

240, the alerts can be quite annoying unless a) you like being interrupted all

the time, or b) you go to the trouble to turn them all off. You can only install

3 custom faces and you can only install the faces using the Android

version of the app. The iOS versions of the app are not as good. Ok that's it for

now. If you enjoyed this video why not like, subscribe and add your comments

below. See you next time!
