Why We're Worried About Anna Nicole Smith's Daughter - Duration: 5:20.
It's hard to believe, but Dannielynn Birkhead, daughter of iconic '90s model and reality
TV darling Anna Nicole Smith, celebrated her 11th birthday in 2017.
Her mother died suddenly of a drug overdose in 2007, leaving behind a baby that was just
a few months old and at the center of a tense legal battle between two men who claimed to
be her father: photographer Larry Birkhead, and Smith's lawyer, Howard K. Stern.
A paternity test proved Birkhead was Dannielynn's biological father, and after he secured custody,
he returned to his Kentucky home to raise his daughter.
But even away from the Hollywood spotlight, this little girl's life is fraught with some
scary elements, which makes it hard not to worry about Dannielynn's future.
Missing her mom
Because Dannielynn was an infant when she lost her mother, having no memory of Anna
Nicole has been extremely difficult.
But fortunately, it seems like her father is stepping up.
Birkhead says Dannielynn is, quote, "fearless, like her mom," but even so, she's already
had to work through some tough issues.
Larry told Today in 2010,
"She has these play dates where she sees other kids with moms.
She sees cartoon characters with their mothers.
She's curious."
A haunting past
Dannielynn may not yet understand much about what happened in her infancy, but one day,
she'll learn that not only did she lose her mother, but she also lost her older brother
— and namesake.
Daniel Wayne Smith died at age 20, from what an investigation revealed to be a toxic combination
of methadone, Lexapro, and Zoloft.
Fortunately, Dannielynn's dad helps her remember her loved ones.
In 2015, she told ET her favorite place to visit is the Bahamas, where her mom and brother
are buried.
Birkhead said,
"I tell Dannielynn stories about her mom.
I don't sugar coat it.
I say there are some things that your mom did and you know I try to make her learn from
it."
Mini Anna for the cameras
At the time of Anna Nicole's death, the star had become more famous for her tabloid exploits
than her acting or modeling work.
And though Birkhead is clearly a doting father, he has also taken advantage of his daughter's
infamous connections.
Birkhead made the rounds for the ten-year anniversary of Smith's death in 2017 with
Dannielynn as the centerpiece of the media coverage.
The pair also filmed a made-for-TV documentary called Life After Anna Nicole: The Larry & Dannielynn
Story, which painted an uncomfortable portrait of how the Birkheads struggled to move on
after Smith's death.
This is to say nothing of Birkhead's appearance on The Millionaire Matchmaker, or his claim
that Dannielynn wants him to find love again (with Britney Spears), or the duo's many red
carpet appearances.
But maybe because she's a celebrity's child, Dannielynn seems to be a natural at taking
it all in stride.
One-sided family
Birkhead's family sees Dannielynn on a regular basis, but she has reportedly been cut off
from her late mother's kin.
Anna Nicole's sister told Inside Edition, in 2017,
"I'm your aunt, I would love to meet you, and I love you from afar."
That same year, Smith's mother and Dannielynn's grandmother, Virgie Arthur, claimed that she
hasn't seen her granddaughter since 2010, telling the Daily Mail,
"I wanna be part of Dannielynn's life.
She is my daughter's child and the only one left in that line of lives.
It's not fair to her, not to know her mother's side of the family."
But according to Birkhead, that's all a bunch of lies.
He told Inside Edition,
"Anna's mom has seen Dannielynn, and she's seen her a few times.
I say that only because I want the story to stop."
Pre-teen modeling
It could be said that Dannielynn should try to avoid her mother's path in entertainment.
Yet in 2013, Dannielynn got into the one of the most cutthroat businesses around: modeling.
At age 6, she rocked the look for Guess Kids, the juvenile line of the brand that made her
mom famous.
"Why is it so special that you're doing a Guess ad?"
"Because my mommy was a Guess model too."
Guess creative director Paul Marciano affirmed in a press release,
"Dannielynn has the same playful spirit that her mother had on a set."
But it might have been just a one-time thing.
Birkhead told ABC News,
"I've had companies call me, since then and ask me for her to model.
The answer's no.
She doesn't show any interest in it."
The dark web
As Dannielynn grows more curious about her mom's life, a quick Google search will tell
her all she needs to know — and then some.
"Playboy playmate, completely spaced out, troubled, gold digger, she is high as a kite.
Trainwreck."
Fortunately, it seems like her dad is prepared to have open conversations about all of it
— eventually.
Birkhead told ET,
"She'll see things, you know, when she grows up, that not necessarily all are true.
Was she wild?
Yeah, sure.
But a great lady, and a great mom."
Everyone's got an opinion
Not only does Dannielynn have full access to her mother's patchwork legacy via the internet,
there's no escaping the cyber bullying and tactless anonymous commentary about herself,
either.
Dannielynn is still just a kid, and yet there's already been plenty of speculation about every
facet of her life.
Birkhead has said he's working hard to preserve his daughter's childhood and sense of normalcy,
telling ET,
"I think [about] how far she's come, and all the craziness that swirled around her.
[...] Just a little kid doing her thing like she's supposed to be.
That's the one thing that I'm most proud of that I've done — trying to keep everything
as normal as I can, in just a really crazy, crazy situation."
Our fingers are crossed that Dannielynn grows up learning what she wants to know about her
mom, and acknowledging the fact that she has a dad who loves her very much.

With Most people in the mainstream media have been
supportive of the Parkland, Florida shooting victims and activists.
However, some conservatives have not been as forgiving and have gone to the news to
share a different perspective on the gun control debate.
One of those people is conservative entertainer Ted Nugent, and now he is being attacked by
the mainstream media.
Nugent is an entertainer, National Rifle Association board member, and conservative Republican.
He blasted the Parkland, Florida victims by claiming there is irrefutable evidence they
have no souls.
While appearing on the Joe Pags Shows he called the new gun control activists mushy brained
children who have been fed lies.
"They're actually committing spiritual suicide because everything they recommend
will cause more death and mayhem.
Guaranteed."
The Daily News reported,
"Teen activists like David Hogg and Emma Gonzalez have drawn the ire of the far-right,
with political commentators and government officials taking to the airwaves and social
media to publicly lambaste them.
They've been vocal champions of gun safety legislation since the Valentine's Day shooting
at their high school.
Former student Nikolas Cruz opened fired in the halls of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High
School, killing 17 and injuring more than a dozen.
After listening to interview clips of the students, Nugent continued on to rail against
the teens as well as liberals and the main stream media.
"The dumbing down of America is manifested in the cultural deprivation of our academia
that have taught these kids the lies, media that have prodded and encouraged and provided
these kids lies," he said.
"I really feel sorry for them because it's not only ignorant and dangerously stupid,
but it's also soulless."
He continued on to defend "the good law-abiding families of America" and said the Parkland's
survivors supposed campaign against them is also "deep in the category of soulless."
"These poor children, I'm afraid to say this, but the evidence is irrefutable, they
have no soul," the conservative musician said.In the wake of the congressional baseball
shooting last summer that left House Majority Whip Steve Scalise in critical condition,
Nugent took on a significantly different tone in his response.
"I'm gonna take a deep breath, and I'm gonna back down," he said in June.
"If it gets fiery, if it gets hateful, I'm going away and I'm not gonna engage in that
hateful rhetoric anymore.""
David Hogg and Emma Gonzalez have been the most outspoken activists so far taking aim
at the National Rifle Association and anyone associated with them.
They have also targeted anyone who disagrees with them.
Just recently, Fox News show host Laura Ingraham posted a twitter article about how Hogg got
rejected from several California colleges he applied to.
Following this share, Hogg tweeted back at her advertisers calling on them to cancel
her show and take away their funding.
However, they did not do that and instead forced her to make an apology which she did
on social media as well.
Despite this, it was not good enough for Hogg and he refused to accept the apology.While
Nugent's comments can be described as crass they cannot be described as incorrect.
The National Rifle Association has been targeted relentlessly and as a result, their donations
from their members have increased.
It is not merely upper-class lobbyists who belong to the National Rifle Association,
the majority of the members are average Americans who use firearms for the defense of their
home and for hunting purposes.
As Nugent aptly pointed out, no National Rifle Association members have ever been involved
with or associated with a mass shooting of any kind.
In fact, the National Rifle Association has taken classes to schools across the United
States in an attempt to teach firearm safety to children.
They have also done it with local law enforcement, the military, children's organizations,
and family organizations.
And not just for a short period of time but for the past 100 years.
The answer to ending these types of mass shootings is not a one size fits all approach.
It is a multi-faceted issue that is going to require many different fixes because there
are many different variables associated with it.
Some of those include…Background check tightening Mental health awareness, help, and funding
Better tracking at the local law enforcement level
More ownership for federal agencies like the Federal Bureau of Investigation who let the
Parkland, Florida perpetrator fall through the cracks
Police guards at schools While many want to blame this issue purely
on guns the answer is not that simple.
We don't ban cars because of all the drunk driving that kills people, we don't ban
knives after mass stabbings, we don't ban cardboard boxes after these USPS bombings.

Roseanne's Surprising Reason She Supports Trump Is From 'Who He Set Free'
This week some 18.3 million Americans chose to tune in to watch the reboot of the 90s
sitcom Roseanne.
To put that number into perspective, it may help to know that more people tuned in to
watch the new Roseanne than tuned in to watch the farewell episode of the original show
when it originally aired in 1997.
Remember 1997 was back when people still watched network television on a regular basis, back
before widespread social media use or the prevalence of the internet, yet the reboot
of this same show blew those 90s numbers away.
The debut of the show reboot aired back-to-back episodes on March 27, 2018, scoring a 5.1
rating in the key demographic of adults age 18-49.
The Tuesday night two-episode revival of Roseanne launched with the same emotional flare that
made the original Conner family working-class comedy a 90s cult classic, updated for the
millennial age and set in the Trump era.
Those numbers mean something and should speak loudly to top decision makers as they represent
the size of the potential threat to their bottom line should they choose to ignore them,
as well as the size of the potential profits should they choose to pay attention and meet
them head-on.
It is no secret that Hollywood holds President Donald Trump in abject contempt.
As a result, these top decision-makers have been making content for and by people who
share their opinions of loathing and contempt.
Yet the new Roseanne should be a much-needed wake-up call.
As TableMag.com puts it "there is a large audience of Americans who are sick of sneering,
condescending, authoritarian right-think that pounds away at the thought-crimes of people
who work their asses off and send their kids off to wars while falling further and further
behind on their car and mortgage payments."
The show shows Roseanne Barr reuniting with her on-screen husband Dan played by John Goodman.
The pair face new challenges as a working-class family in middle America as their unemployed
daughter Darlene played by Sara Gilbert moves back home with her two children, along with
the recently widowed older daughter, Becky, played by Alicia Goranson.
Roseanne and her on-screen sister Jackie played by Laurie Metcalf, clash over the election
of Donald Trump to the presidency."He talked about jobs, Jackie!"
Roseanne says to her "Nasty Woman" T-shirt-clad sister, who vocally supported Hillary Clinton
but walked into the booth and voted for Green Party candidate Jill Stein.
"He said he'd shake things up!
I mean, this might come as a complete shock to you, but we almost lost our house, the
way things are going."
Moments later, just before the family eats dinner, Roseanne says a prayer — she asks
Jackie, "Would you like to take a knee?" — in which she thanks God for her son D.J.'s
(Michael Fishman) safe return home from his military service in Syria and "most of all
Lord, thank you, for making America great again."
Barr, the namesake of both versions of the sitcom, agrees and offered some words of praise
for President Trump on Twitter Friday evening.
Barr tweeted – "President Trump has freed so many children held in bondage to pimps
all over this world.
Hundreds each month.
He has broken up trafficking rings in high places everywhere.

mentioned above from TableMag.com discussing the reboot of her show and the tweets were
related to the discussion that followed regarding her show and its relation to President Trump.
The series of tweets followed a proclamation issued by the White House issued by the White
House on Friday declaring the month of April to be "National Sexual Assault Awareness
and Prevention Month."
The Trump administration stated in the formal announcement – "We remain steadfast in
our efforts to stop crimes of sexual violence, provide care for victims, enforce the law,
prosecute offenders, and raise awareness about the many forms of sexual assault.
We must continue our work to eliminate sexual assault from our society and promote safe
relationships, homes, and communities."
TableMag.com goes on to state –
"Roseanne is the first decent argument that Donald Trump has had in the culture business
since he got elected.
It's even more powerful coming from a comedian like Roseanne who, bless her soul, may be
the single most important feminist symbol in America, relevant because she belongs not
to the moneyed and privileged chattering vanguards but to the working class.
Roseanne herself knows Trump and appears to personally dislike him.
But she's given him this arguably undeserved gift because she also agrees with him on several
key issues, like trade and political correctness.
She also understands that Trump plugs in to the frustrations of millions of Americans

Republicans doing much to help them out.

How Long to Do No Contact to Get Your Ex Back - Duration: 4:15.
Hey there, welcome back.
It's clay with modernlove.life and this is relationship inner game.
Today what we're going to be doing is we're going to be talking about how long should
you be doing no contact for.
Again, this really does depend on which type of no contact you're doing passive no contact,
active no contact, reverse psychology, "let's play" mind games no contact or uh, you know,
he opened the breakup no contact or you know, all kinds of different types, but I'm just
going to be moving forward assuming that we're talking about active no contact because that's
what I teach.
So how long should you be doing it?
And the main thing shouldn't be focusing on some specific number of days, like you know,
a week, two weeks, three weeks, a month, three months, five months, six months or anything
like that.
What you should really be thinking about is the quality of the interactions that you believe
that you'd be able to have with your ex.
So oftentimes it would be highly recommended that somebody would go into no contact of
any type because quite frankly, they are not having positive interactions with their ex,
you know, every time they pick up the phone and call their ex, they have an argument or
their walls them out or every time they text they're actually, they just get met with some
like, angry response or they're just no response whatsoever.
Otherwise, every time they're interacting they are having a worse and worse interaction
with them that is causing them to distance themselves from you emotionally.
OK.
What we're doing during active no contact is we are creating a new context where we
can develop the ability to interact with our ex in a way that actually brings us closer
together.
So you don't want to just kind of white knuckle it through no contact and hope that just because
some certain amount of days have passed, uh, that you're suddenly going to be able to have
a great impact on your ex.
So putting some time, make sure that you are doing something to actually have a great positive
impact on your ex.
That should really determine the length of no contact.
OK?
If you're making progress and you're developing advanced relational skills and you're able
to have stronger interactions with people that bring the two of you deeper, that allow
for more connection then you're making great progress and that could be a sign that, you
know, it might be, have been long enough for you to get out of no contact.
OK?
Especially if you also factor in the other reasons that you might do no context such
as personal healing from the break up and, um, allowing enough time for your ex's reactance
to sort of die down a little bit and all of that stuff.
OK?
But as a general rule of thumb, I would recommend that you would do active no contact for about
30 days, about one month.
OK?
This is by no means a strict rule that everyone must follow.
But generally I think that it's a good rule of thumb, a good starting point.
Some people might need more time, a very, very few people might need less time.
But it's a good starting point.
A good rule of thumb and you shouldn't really focus on the amount of time, so much as on
the quality of the interactions that you're able to have.
So anyway, that's how long you should be doing no contact for.
And that's how you should be thinking about it anyway.

and I want to give you a sneak peek at an internal feature that we're working on for Illustrator. Now, for starters,
you'll work the same way you always have. In this case, I'm just creating an icon of a slice of pizza.
I'm adding some pepperoni - the same way you
usually would and getting it to look just right. This new technology
we're working on comes pretty handy when you're working on illustrations of food because you get hungry!
Specifically for this type of pizza that I'm making.
And that's where this experimental feature comes into play.
Because all I need to do is drag the type of food, whatever you've drawn,
into this new panel.
And then we use artificial intelligence and machine learning
to return the results of the type of food you just Illustrated,
from places in your area. And then from there, all you need to do is hit order!
There you have it. Just draw whatever type of food you want in Illustrator
and it will show up at your doorstep, all without ever having to leave Illustrator.
I'd like to remind you that this is experimental, but it is a really exciting feature nonetheless.

Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus Review - 1 Month Later - The BEST Smartphone! - Duration: 5:39.
Hey, what's going on people it's Shon from HiTech.
So I picked up Samsung's new Galaxy S9 Plus and I'm just gonna say this right out of
the gate, in my opinion, putting ecosystems aside and considering everything you get,
the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus is the best phone out right now.
Now I'm not saying it's the best at everything.
But the thing is, this phone makes very little compromises, or none at all depending on how
you look at it, and gives you pretty much every option & feature you could ask for in
a smartphone.
If you've had one or you're familiar with Samsung phones then you already know that
they make their phones with very high quality and the S9 Plus is no exception.
It has an aluminum build with Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and back.
It looks practically identical to the Galaxy S8 but with 3 notable changes: First, Samsung
made the top and bottom bezels on the front slightly thinner.
Second, on the back the camera orientation is now vertical.
And finally, Samsung listened to everyone's complaints and moved the fingerprint reader
below the camera so that it's more towards the center of the phone.
The setup for the finger print reader is probably one of the fastest I've seen.
You literally just have to swipe down on it one time and you're done.
It's also really fast and responsive.
But in addition to this, you can also unlock the phone with facial recognition, the iris
scanner, or what Samsung is calling Intelligent Scan which is a combination of facial recognition
and iris scanning.
On the top of the phone is the SIM card and microSD card slot.
With the micoSD card slot you can expand the internal storage of the phone up to 400GB.
There's a pair of stereo speakers instead of a single speaker like in previous galaxy
phones.
A USB-C port with fast charging and yes, the fast charger comes with the phone.
And unlike most phones these days, Samsung is still including the headphone jack.
The display is stunning and appears to be Samsung's best OLED display yet.
It's a 6.2" display with a max resolution of 2960x1440.
Displaymate.com has given this display its highest rating ever, beating out the iPhone
X's display which was custom designed by Apple and manufactured by Samsung.
Personally I've found it to be extremely sharp, it gets very bright and colors are
vivid.
Given that this is a Samsung phone the colors actually might be too vivid depending on your
tastes but thankfully you can change the color saturation in the display settings.
I'm still not a big fan of the curved sides but that's just me and it's not a deal
breaker at all.
There's been a lot of hype around the cameras in the S9 Plus.
Specifically the main rear camera that has a variable aperture that will change from
1.5 to 2.4 depending on your lighting conditions.
Now, I don't want to downplay this because it is a notable advancement in smartphone
tech.
This is the first phone to have a variable aperture lens.
And it does make a difference in low light situations.
But personally, I don't take a lot of really low light photos so most of the time an aperture
of 2.4 let's in plenty of light and that's what the camera defaults to.
So it's a great feature, but don't expect it to be this game changing thing unless you're
someone who takes a lot of low light photos.
Putting that aside, just like other top flagship phones, the Galaxy S9 Plus's camera takes
really good pictures.
Do I think it's the best camera, no.
I still like the Pixel 2 XLs camera the most.
And I still prefer the color processing of the iPhone X.
But I'm certainly not disappointed with the photos coming out of the S9 Plus.
At this point, all the top phones take amazing pictures.
You get optical image stabilization in both lenses, you can record 4k video up 60 frames
per second, 1080p video up to 240 frames per second and you get that new super-slow-mo
at 960 frames per second at a 720p resolution.
Inside the S9 Plus is powered by the Snapdragon 845, 6GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage,
with a 3500 mAh battery.
It's also supports wireless charging and is IP68 water and dust resistant.
And as far as performance goes I have zero complaints so far.
Everything is smooth and fast.
I haven't had any hiccups or lag at all.
To me it's actually just as smooth as stock android on my Pixel 2 XL.
Whether or not it stays this way remains to be seen.
I may make an update video to let you know how things are in a couple months.
Samsung's Touchwiz skin is still there and you're either going to love it or hate it.
I personally don't mind it that much though I'd still prefer stock android.
So yea like I said this phone makes very few compromises.
There's very few things that a smartphone could have that the S9 Plus doesn't.
I wouldn't go so far as to say that it's the absolute best at everything.
But I do feel that it's the most complete package and that's why it's my favorite
smartphone right now.
