THREE Players Crucial For Liverpool For The Remainder Of The Season ● News Now ●#LFC - Duration: 2:50.
Jurgen Klopp's men are easily one of the most exciting teams to watch not just in England
but also in Europe.
However, Liverpool are still a fair distance away from being a team that can challenge
for the league title.
They are in a decent position to qualify for the Champions League for the second year in
a row and are currently active in the same competition as the take on Man City in the
quarter-finals.
They have just seven games left in the league this season and the games against Everton
and Chelsea, both away from home, are their toughest tests in the rest of the season.
Liverpool are favourites to finish in the top 4 but will need a strong finish to their
campaign and here are three players who will be crucial for their run in late in the season:
#3 Roberto Firmino
The Brazilian false 9 is redefining the position, scoring for fun this season.
He is important to Klopp's system and adds more than just the goals to this Liverpool
attack.
He drops deep and is happy to put in the tackles to win the ball back for his side.
His positioning and work off the ball make him crucial for Liverpool and their fluid
attacking system, and if he at the top of his game, it usually lifts the entire team.
Beyond doubt, Firmino is a significant player for Liverpool late this season.
#2 Jordan Henderson
The skipper of the side, Henderson was also named the captain of the English national
team in the absence of Harry Kane recently and is a dynamic midfielder who is effective
in Klopp's style of play.
He may not be the best in the business but is the best option for Liverpool in the no.6
role and now that he is fully fit, is expected to start most league games till the end of
the season.
The Reds will need his tenacity and experience in the midfield to see off crunch games in
the business end of the campaign.
#1 Joel Matip
Though Dutch star Virgil van Dijk will be Liverpool's most crucial defender, the Reds
need an able partner for van Dijk to make sure that they finish the season strongly.
Dejan Lovren has time and again let his team down and might struggle to break into the
first team for the rest of the season.
Cameroon international Joel Matip should be the first choice partner for van Dijk and
if he can have a solid end to the campaign, Liverpool are certain to finish the season
off strongly.

Since 1965, the number of black elected officials has exploded.
Between 1970 and 2012, it grew from fewer than 1,500 to more than 10,000.
And, oh, yes—a black man was elected president.
Twice.
Conventional wisdom would suggest that all these political gains would lead to economic gains.
But that has not proven to be the case.
In fact, during an era of growing black political influence, blacks as a group progressed at
a slower rate than whites, and the black poor actually lost ground.
Why was the conventional wisdom wrong?
Because it was based on the incorrect assumption that politics was the pathway to black progress.
Only black politicians, so the thinking went, could properly understand and address the
challenges facing black Americans.
It wasn't stable families, hard work, or education that would lift blacks into the
middle class; it was more black city councilmen, congressmen and senators.
But the evidence, even according to liberal social scientists like Gary Orfield, "indicates
that there may be little relationship between the success of . . . black leaders and the
opportunities of typical black families."
So, while black politicians, from Tom Bradley and Marion Barry to Maxine Waters and John
Conyers, achieved considerable personal success, their constituents did not.
Yet this calculus—political success is a pre-requisite to a better life—remains progressive
orthodoxy today.
When Michael Brown was shot dead after assaulting a police officer in Ferguson, Missouri, in 2014,
much was made over the racial composition of the police department and city leaders.
But if black representation among law enforcement and city officials is so critically important,
how do you explain the rioting in Baltimore the following year after a black suspect there
died in police custody?
At the time, 40 percent of Baltimore's police officers were black.
The Baltimore police commissioner was also black, along with the mayor and a majority
of the city council.
What can be said of Baltimore is also true of Cleveland, Detroit, Philadelphia, Atlanta,
New Orleans and Washington, D.C., where black mayors and police chiefs and city councilmen
and school superintendents have been in office for decades.
But to what end?
As I document in my book, False Black Power?, when blacks had little political power,
they nevertheless made significant economic progress.
In the 1940s and '50s, black labor-participation rates exceeded those of whites, black incomes
grew much faster than white incomes, and the black poverty rate fell by 40 percentage points.
Between 1940 and 1970—that is, during the Jim Crow era, with its racist laws— and
before any affirmative action, the number of blacks in middle-class professions quadrupled.
In other words, racial gaps were steadily narrowing without any special treatment for blacks.
And then came the War on Poverty in the mid-sixties.
This was supposed to close the gap once and for all.
Yet, despite billions of dollars of government assistance in the form of welfare payments,
housing projects and enforced hiring programs like affirmative action, black poverty rates
remained unchanged relative to white poverty rates.
In fact, a strong case can be made that to the extent that a social program, however
well-meaning, interferes with a group's self-development, it does more harm than good.
Government policies that discourage marriage and undermine the work ethic
—open-ended welfare benefits, for example—help keep poor people poor.
No wonder, then, that more black politicians bringing home more government aid has done
so little to improve rates of black employment, homeownership, and academic achievement.
As economist Thomas Sowell explains, "The relationship between political success and
economic success has been more nearly inverse than direct."
The history of Germans, Jews, and Italians in America support Sowell's observation.
Each of these groups made significant economic gains before ever attaining
significant political power.
Asians are the most recent example.
How many prominent Asian politicians can you name?
On the other hand, the Irish—whose rise from poverty in the 19th century was especially
slow—were very politically successful.
Irish-run political organizations in places like Boston and Philadelphia
dominated local government.
In the US, the Irish had more political success than any other ethnic minority group.
"Yet the Irish were," according to Sowell, "the slowest rising of all European immigrants
to America."
The black experience in America is of course different from the experience of the Irish
—or any other ethnic minority—but that doesn't undermine the obvious conclusion: Human capital
is far more important than political capital.
And the formula for prosperity is the same across the human spectrum: Traditional values
such as marriage, stable families, education and hard work are immeasurably more important
than the color of your congressman—or senator, or police chief, or president.

Shape Builder Tool Logo Design In Illustrator - Duration: 10:24.
today I'm gonna show you guys how to make this cool logo design using the
shape builder tool in a adobe illustrator
what is up people welcome back to satori graphics the home of graphic design
content right here on YouTube so today we're gonna be looking at using the
shape builder tool in Adobe Illustrator to design a really cool and symmetrical
logo design I'm also gonna show you guys nifty gradient tricks that you can use
on this logo design I quickly want to remind you all that if you want to
follow the link in description below or in the top right corner you can access
my teespring store the 20% discount any purchase until Tuesday so if you want to
help out to tear graphics grab yourself a shirt or a print to show your
appreciation to this channel to make your life a little bit easier when
designing its logo today with the shape at at all its going to be a good idea to
activate specific smart guides in you illustrator Preferences window
so if you see my settings here I advise that use similar settings for your logo
design we're going to use the shape builder tool to make a logo out of that
we need to take shapes with no fill and a stroke only you can press shift an X
on your keyboard to switch between a stroke and a fill
press em on your keyboard to access the rectangle tool and then go ahead and
make a rectangle in a similar manner to mine here we then we want to make a
perfect circle so access the ellipse tool with L on your keyboard you hold
down shift and click and drag to make a perfect circle and make the diameter of
the circle around double the size of the rectangle we can however make sure it's
perfectly double the size if I open up the transform window using the transform
window we can see the height of the rectangle if you select it so as you can
see here - 93 if we then go ahead and select the circle we can see the circles
diameter we want it to be double so mine's going to be 186 which is double
93 we can type in these dimensions and the circle will now be perfectly double
the size of the rectangle in this tutorial using the shape builder tool to
make a logo it's essential everything is perfect we then want to align the circle
so the lines on the corner of the rectangle like so the fact we turned on
the smart guides earlier we're now allow illustrator to inform you when the
circle is perfectly aligned with the intersect weight so when you have the
first circle set up for our shape builder logo design in Illustrator hold
down the alt option key and click and drag to duplicate the shape
move the circle to the other side of the rectangle and place it perfectly on the
edge like we did before but this time position it below rather than above
lastly make another circle the resize it down to a little under half of the
original size and then position in like I've done here
we're nearly ready to studies in the shea butter tour now
so once you have everything aligned the positions you're gonna be able to find
the shape builder tool here in the tool bar or you can also press Shift + M on
your keyboard you need to select everything that makes up the shape
selection and then access the shape at at all by default is going to be a plus
icon above the cursor and this will allow you to click and drag over areas
that you want to unite together to make up a laker design shape however here I
need to adjust a smaller circle so that touches the edge of the other circle
properly so when you're ready click and drag to draw over the selections like
I've done here now hold down the alt option key and then when you click and
drag over there is either one they're gonna be deleted this will leave our
first shape for our logo design you may also want to select and delete areas
finishing and tidying up your design
so flip the shape from a stroke over to a fill we now have a first shape ready
duplicate it with the alt/option key and then rotate it by 180 degrees can then
position it to make up the final shape of our logo design in today's tutorial
I'm gonna show you a few tricks and adding quality gradients to the later
design that's coming up next so for the first top shape we can add a warm
gradient so highlight it and then select the gradient fill
all you need to do is click each side of the slider and add a color that you wish
you can experiment with this for your local design but make sure the direction
travels from left to right like so on the bottom shape we're gonna use a
cooler gradient that goes from purple to a kind of light blue and like I said I
will show you a neat trick in a moment but we're gonna give you legos I'm more
depth
make sure that you direct the darker part of the gradient coming from the
center of the logo design
we can add multiple layers of gradients to give a smoother and more in-depth
appearance so in the bottom shape here click it and then press command or ctrl
C to copy it and then press command or control F which is going to paste and
duplicate it exactly at the top on the duplicate I want to change the direction
of the gradient slightly but more importantly also change the light side
to have a 0% opacity and on the darker side are gonna make it a bit more darker
than the original
so as you can see this is what you're left with at the end
the same as time today I've gone ahead and done the same thing with the top
shape however we can add one more final gradient layer to both shapes so copy
the new gradient and then paste it in place like we did before this time you
can make the lighter side more brighter and the dark side to have a 0% opacity
so take your time playing around with the color so they're both acts like a
highlight and blends in properly into your logo design
and finally do the same on the lone shape making a lighter side of the
gradient brighter and a darker side having no obesity
and there as you can see the Lego looks more dramatic and visually appealing
than with the single gradient used let me know what you guys think with today's

i didn't eat anything like that in japan
it looks like the hot mille feuille and this so so good
