Youtube daily report Mar 28 2018

Once upon a time, these celebrities were deemed some of the hottest hunks in the entertainment

industry.

Each time they graced television screens and magazine covers, their fans would swoon.

But over the years, the celebrity studs have changed so much, we may not even recognize

them if they walked right past us!

Let's take a closer look at the heartthrobs that look totally different today.

Brad Pitt

In Legends of the Fall, Brad Pitt made jaws drop for all the right reasons.

As one of Hollywood's most handsome leading men, Pitt was twice named People's Sexiest

Man Alive, and his stock as an aesthetically appealing actor continued to rise.

Years later, after the news of his divorce from Angelina Jolie, Pitt posed for a 2017

spread with GQ magazine that put his changing looks on blast.

But the actor is well aware that time marches on.

In a 2007 interview with Details, he said,

"One thing sucks, your face kind of goes.

Your body's not quite working the same.

But you earned it.

You earned that, things falling apart."

Keith Richards

Rocker Keith Richards of The Rolling Stones was known for having swag.

In the early days of his career, enamored fans swarmed him every day of the week.

Richards' music may be timeless, but like everyone else, his body is not.

If you ask him, he thinks he's holding up just fine.

The rocker revealed to GQ that he has no qualms about growing old in the public eye.

When asked if he regretted never using moisturizer, he answered:

"No.

I leave that up to other people."

His fans shouldn't expect him to go under the knife, either.

When asked about Botox, Richards replied:

"No one's ever talked me into doing that.

You're lucky if you walk out of there alive.

God bless you."

Mark-Paul Gosselaar

Saved by the Bell still lives on as a cult classic, and Mark-Paul Gosselaar will forever

be dreamy Zack Morris, whether he likes it or not.

But these days, he looks a heck of a lot different than he did at Bayside High.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Gosselaar spoke about his bushy beard, which

he was asked to grow in preparation for his starring role in the since-canceled Fox series,

Pitch.

He explained,

"[Show creator Dan Fogelman] thought I was great but was concerned about some of the

past baggage that I brought.

[...] He said, 'I don't want people to recognize you right off the bat.

Can you grow a beard?'"

Gosselaar is also noticeably heavier — another choice he made in order to play a bulked-up

baseball catcher.

"He's fat and he has a beard, he looks like a catcher."

"No!"

Matthew Perry

At just 24 years old, Matthew Perry starred as Chandler Bing on one of the most popular

shows of all time, Friends.

Over the years, the actor has spoken out about his addiction to opiates and alcohol, and

his substance abuse issues may have played a role in the disappearance of his once boyish

and youthful glow.

Perry has since kicked his habit and is dedicated to helping others on their journeys toward

sobriety.

So although he looks completely different today, we're just happy he's in a much better

place.

Healthy and happy is by far the best look.

Joey Lawrence

It seems like only yesterday that Joey Lawrence posters were hanging on every teenage girls'

bedroom wall.

In his breakout performance on the '90s sitcom Blossom, Lawrence completely rocked our world.

Now that he's all grown up, Lawrence has a revamped wardrobe, a new hairdo, and a bit

of facial stubble that did a total switcheroo to his appearance.

Although he has never specifically talked about the whereabouts of his beautiful wavy

brown hair, he seemed rather unphased about aging when he spoke to The Huffington Post

in 2017, saying,

"I began this journey so young that, 32 years later, I'm not really that old."

Luke Perry

The ultimate bad boy, Luke Perry starred on Beverly Hills, 90210, melting television screens

week after week with his sultry eyes and James Dean-esque hairstyle.

The show debuted back in 1990, and Perry has certainly matured since his days playing a

pretty face in one of the richest zip codes in the world.

In 1994, Perry had already realized what it felt like to age in Hollywood, telling Entertainment

Weekly,

"The teenage days are gone!

Coming-of-age movies are gone for me.

I mean, come on, the hairline just won't have it!"

Jump ahead a few decades, and he's snagging the cover of AARP magazine.

Although, in the end, even if he looks a lot different, he's still a stud in our eyes.

Lil Dicky: BEST Verses - Duration: 7:29.

Hey guys, CDTVProductions here, and today in Best Verses we will be looking at Lil Dicky,

the man with the most advertised friendly name in the rap game. Thanks for that one

Dicky. Now recently he has released Freaky Friday, and even though it was fun, and I

do like the song, it had a kinda weak and poorly structured verse from Dicky. I mean

the rhymes weren't even there, but it made me think, what are Dicky's best verses?

Well today I'll be sharing with you what I think the best ones are. Remember you can

subscribe to my second channel, CDTVThaG where I do music reactions, and this is CDTVProductions,

and let's get right into this video.

Clip: Lil Dicky "Bruh..."

Now a decent amount of the focus on Professional Rapper was the comedy tracks, but here is

one of the straight up displays of rapping talent on that album. Dicky always likes to

display that he actually can rap, and isn't a joke, and this is one of the best tracks

to show this. It has a completely ridiculous rhyme scheme at parts of it, and the wordplay

is really nice here too. I especially thought the "I take chickpea and smash, I call it

hummus" line was really creative. Also, "your X coming next like a W do" was cool

as well. This whole thing is rapped over a beat that is entirely percussion, so all the

focus is really on what Dicky is saying, and he does lay down some dope bars here.

Clip: Lil Dicky "White Crime"

I think all 3 verses on this song are pretty good, so I had to listen to this song a couple

times before I could really choose my favorite. The idea of certain crimes being classified

as White Crimes is pretty hilarious, and the fact that Dicky is so straight faced with

his delivery makes it all the better. I chose the initial verse, simply because this is

mainly intended as a comedy song, and this verse had the most lines that made me laugh.

I can also say, I can kinda relate as I've taken part in these *despicable* crimes such

as stuffing snacks into your pockets to sneak them into a cinema and I have joined some

WiFi without permission before. Absolutely reckless, I know.

Clip: Lil Dicky "We Made It Freestyle"

I think this song is a good mix between comedic Dicky and lyrical Dicky. He raps this over

the beat for We Made It, which is a song by Drake, but who cares about him because the

other person originally on this song was the one, the only, Big Soulja. That's instantly

scores it points. Dicky hits some great flows here, and often goes for the triplet flow

here, whilst referencing the fact he's using it in his lyrics. It's also pretty entertaining

when you listen to what he's saying in his ad libs, it's pretty damn funny. Like I

said, this one is just a nice middle ground between Dicky spitting and having fun with

his bars.

Clip: Lil Dicky "Attached At the Hip"

Now you might be saying, why is this here, this song is just a d**k joke in the most

literal sense. And you'd be right in saying that, but I still think it's a really amusing

verse, and I do enjoy it. The concept of this song is Dicky arguing with his actual d**k

about who is responsible for his premature ejaculation. I think this was executed as

well as it could have been, and I like how Dicky managed to write a conversation between

himself and his Lil Dicky into this verse, with Dicky rapping in his normal voice and

using auto tune to personify his d***s voice. I think it's just fun, and somewhat creative,

and on top of it's hilarious that he managed to make this sound so emotional. I think it's

pretty damn good.

Clip: Lil Dicky "Really Scared"

And after that, we're gonna move onto something that was actually emotional lyrically as well

as sonically. It's not too often that you really get to see Dicky's deeper side, so

it makes it pretty special when you do see it. In this track he covers his worries with

blowing up in the rap game. He's so competitive that he's happy to be achieving his dreams,

but he's also worried that this is making him more distant from family and friends.

This message is delivered so well in this second verse, where he also questions what

will happen if he doesn't make it. He's invested so much time into it that it won't

be worth it if he doesn't succeed. It's pretty touching and it's delivered with

some great rhymes and flows to top it off.

Clip: Lil Dicky "Russell Westbrook On A Farm"

I think I can comfortably say, this is THE best Lil Dicky verse that he's rapped to

this date. My god, is it good. Here Dicky raps a single verse over 6 minutes of the

instrumental for Pound Cake by Drake, and he spins a pretty cool story. He uses the

analogy of Russell Westbrook on a farm as a metaphor for Dicky's own career. The general

idea of the story is that Russell has a farm, and he's a really great farmer. He continues

with the farm for a long time, but eventually stumbles across a basketball court when he's

out for a ride on his horse. He starts playing and finds out he's pretty good, and keeps

going and going with it, until he eventually makes it into the big leagues. He's ecstatic

when he gets there, but still reminisces about where he came from and his past. It's pretty

easy to see how this story parallels Lil Dicky's beginnings and rise in the rap game, and it's

told so incredibly well. It's got some absolutely excellent rhyming and the fact that almost

each line makes sense and contributes to the story makes it ten times better. If you haven't

heard this, listen to it now. I hadn't heard it until recently, and I'd be lying if I

said this wasn't Dicky's best verse so far in his career.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp receives welcome boost ahead of Crystal Palace fixture ● News Now ● #LFC - Duration: 2:06.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has received a welcome boost as Dejan Lovren return to training

ahead of this weekend's trip to Crystal Palace.

The Croatian defender missed the Reds' 5-0 win over Watford with an ankle injury as Joel

Matip deputised at the heart of defence.

The defender was expected to be called up for Croatia's friendlies against Peru and

Mexico during the international break,

but instead return to full training on Monday to give himself a chance of partnering Virgil

van Dijk at Selhurst Park.

The 28-year-old started in consecutive games against Newcastle and Manchester United before

his injury but struggled when isolated one on one with Romelu Lukaku.

While not as prolific, Roy Hodgson could utilise the physicality of Christian Benteke to try

and expose the same weakness the Belgian did.

Both Lovren and Matip scored on Liverpool's last visit to Selhurst Park in October 2016

when Liverpool won 4-2.

This weekend could also see the return of Nathaniel Clyne after a long-term absence.

The former Southampton full-back hasn't started since the final day of last season but is

now in contention with Trent Alexander-Arnold following an injury to Joe Gomez on international

duty.

Clyne began his comeback in Liverpool Under-23s 4-0 win over Stoke City a month ago and has

been training alongside Lovren, Matip, Alberto Moreno, Loris Karius, Danny Ward and Danny

Ings.

Texas VS California - How Do They Compare? - Duration: 5:36.

Both large in terms of population and size, Texas and California have not only driven

the US economy since records began, they are both also among the largest states in term

of population and land mass.

But when you put these two giants head to head, and with all else being equal, just

which state edges it as the most super powerful awesome American State.

In the red corner, we have the lone star state, famous for its once independence, as well

as its massive land mass and oil producing mega power.

And in the blue corner, we have California, land of movies, magic, technological giants,

and fine wines.

What happens when we match up these two powerhouses?

That's what we'll find out, in this episode of The Infographics Show - Texas vs California.

California, the Golden State, with a population 34.9 million, is the most populous state in

America and, to put that population into perspective, almost 1 in every 8 Americans is Californian.

Texas, on the other hand, is the second biggest state geographically with a 268,601 square

miles land mass, and if it were a country, Texas would be the 40th largest in the world,

just after Chile and Zambia.

Texas has the second highest population after California and was its own independent nation

from 1836 to 1845.

The Texas Lone Star Flag has three colors.

Red to represent courage, white for liberty, blue for loyalty, and the white star added

during the battles between Texas and Mexico during the 1830s, for purity.

After Texas was annexed as an independent nation in 1845, Texans retained the right

to fly their Lone Star flags at the same height as the national stars and stripes.

California has more national parks than any other state, with 9 of the total 59 national

parks falling within the state's borders.

It is also home to the world's tallest trees, the Hyperion, an 800 year old redwood that

is an impressive 380 feet tall (115.54 meters) and is estimated to contain 530 cubic meters

of wood.

Austin, Texas, meanwhile, is home to North America's largest urban bat colony with

over 1.5 million of the creatures roosting under Congress Avenue Bridge, and eating around

20,000lbs of insects every night.

And if that's a lot of bats flapping around in the city, check out Bracken Cave, also

in Texas, where over 20 million bats live, which is about the same number of bats as

people living in Bangkok, Thailand, one of the most densely populated cities in the world.

California became home to the world's first McDonald's restaurant in 1940, after brothers

Richard and Maurice McDonald opened the first branch in San Bernardino.

Now McDonalds has over 36 thousand restaurants in 120 different countries serving 68 million

customers each and every day.

Not to be outdone on the world mega-corp stakes, Texas's Exxon Mobil is the world's largest

publicly traded oil and gas company and the world's 10th largest company by revenue.

In 2014 Exxon was the Fortune 500's 2nd most profitable company with a daily production

of almost 4 million barrels of oil.

And as we all probably know, the world's largest movie industry (by revenue) is based

in California.

How much revenue?

Well, with a global box office forecast to increase from 38 billion dollars to nearly

50 billion dollars in 2020, Hollywood is set to see a healthy future indeed.

Hollywood is home to the Oscars, however the award statuette was actually named after the

Texan Oscar Pierce, whose niece worked for the award committee, and when seeing the award

for the first time said, "That looks just like my uncle Oscar," and so the statuette

was named.

California is the world's fifth-largest supplier of food, with over 90% of the USA's

supply of raisins, pomegranates, rice, peaches, plums and pistachios coming from there.

It also exports tons fruit juices and wines.

Texas is all about petroleum, and if it were an independent nation, it would be the 5th

largest oil-producing nation worldwide.

Just 34 of Texas's 254 counties are without natural gas, and the Gulf of Mexico is one

of the largest offshore drilling regions producing 463 million barrels of crude oil in 2012 alone.

California has the fourth-highest cost of living at 132 percent of the national average,

while Texas has the second lowest cost of living at 90 percent.

California has a minimum wage of $8 while Texas has a $7.25 minimum wage.

California was the first state to become a trillion dollar economy, and if it was a country,

it would be the sixth largest in the world, surpassing France.

Texas is home to the bowie knife named after Jim Bowie and designed by his brother Rezin.

On the subject of self-protection, in 2015, the Texas legislature passed a bill to allow

concealed handgun permit holders to begin to carry handguns openly, and in Gun Barrel

City, Texas, whose motto is "We shoot straight with you," citizens are encouraged by legislation

to carry a firearm.

By comparison, in California, the gun laws are among the most restrictive in the United

States.

The gun death rate for California in 2013 was 7.89 per 100,000 citizens, compared with

Texas at 10.5.

It is still a hanging offense in Texas to steal or put any kind of markings on another

person's cattle.

It's also illegal to strip naked in front of a dead body, or to let a camel run loose

on the beach.

And in Los Angeles, where sunshine is guaranteed to the masses, it is illegal to throw a Frisbee

on the beach without first having sought permission from an official lifeguard.

So, which state would you rather live in?

Texas or California?

Let us know why in the comments!

Also, be sure to check out our other video called Donald Trump vs the Average American!

Sampling Methods and Bias with Surveys: Crash Course Statistics #10 - Duration: 11:46.

Hi, I'm Adriene Hill and welcome back to Crash Course Statistics.

In our last episode we talked about how we use experiments to imitate having two parallel

universes to test things.

But sometimes you can't do certain experiments without becoming an all-powerful and evil

dictator, and since it's statistically unlikely that any of you are evil dictators, today,

we'll explore those methods.

Like we mentioned at the beginning of the series, you're not always able to answer

the questions you really want to answer using statistics.

For example, it would be great to experimentally test whether getting married increases your

lifespan, but you can't randomly assign some people to be married and force another

group to be single.

Not only would that be difficult to enforce, it would also be pretty unethical, though

I suppose you being evil takes care of that particular concern.

Similarly we can't assign someone to be a twin, or a Democrat, or a smoker.

But that doesn't mean we should just give up and stop trying to find out more about

these topics.

Not at all.

Instead we just need a different method to collect data.

Enter Non-Experimental methods.

INTRO

One of the most common non-experimental method is the survey.

From user experience surveys on websites, to political polls, to health questionnaires

at the doctor's office, you've probably taken hundreds of surveys in your lifetime.

There are two things that can make or break a survey: the questions, and who the researcher

gives the questions to.

The goal of a survey is to get specific information.

Say you're walking your dog in a local park, and someone approaches you and asks you to

take a survey on local businesses in your town.

When you look at the questions you notice that none of them are about local businesses,

instead you find yourself answering questions about your politics and religious beliefs.

Unless the surveyor was lying to you about their purposes, this is not a very good survey….It's

also not a very good lie A survey should measure what it claims to

measure.

It might seem obvious that having only unrelated questions on your survey is problematic, and

there are even more subtle ways a question can be biased.

Let's take a look at a few questions from a health survey you might take at a doctor's office.

The first question asks you how often you exercise: never, less than 30 minutes a week

or 30 minutes a day.

So what do you answer if you exercise for half an hour twice a week?

Or if you're on swim team and exercise for at least an hour a day?

And does walking count as exercise?

Multiple choice questions that don't offer all possible options and/or an "Other"

option can cause respondents to either skip the question, or feel forced to choose an

answer that isn't accurate.

Claims made using these questions aren't as strong as they could be if people were

offered a full range of choices.

The next question asks you "Answer yes or no: I don't smoke because I know it's

damaging to my health" this is a leading question since the wording leads to towards

the quote "desired" answer.

This is especially effective when a question deals with sensitive issues like smoking,

politics, or religion.

People answering the questions want to be seen in a positive light, and so they tend

to give the answer they think is "appropriate".

While having people fill surveys out anonymously by themselves can help, it can sometimes be

the case that respondents don't want to admit things--even to themselves--that are

socially undesirable.

In general terms, good survey questions are worded in a neutral way such as asking "how

often do you exercise" or "describe your smoking habits" instead of using wording

or options that push survey takers in a certain direction.

And while your doctor wouldn't...or shouldn't...do this...sometimes groups purposely use biased

questions in their surveys to get the results that they want.

Apparently, back in 1972, Virginia Slims conducted a poll asking respondents if they would agree

with the statement: "There won't be a woman President of the United States for a

long time and that's probably just as well."

Not a well-written question.

Biased questions can be more subtle...and can lead to skewed reports of very serious

things like sexual assault, or mental health conditions.

It's important to always look for biased questions in surveys, especially when the

people giving the survey stand to benefit from a certain response.

Even when researchers have created a non-biased survey, they still need to get it into the

right hands.

Ideally, a survey should go to a random sample of the population that they're interested

in.

Usually this means using a random number generator to pick who gets the survey.

We do Simple Random Sampling so that there's no pattern or system for selecting respondents

and each respondent has an equal chance of being selected.

For example, telephone surveys often use Random Digit Dialing which selects 7 random digits

and dials them.

When someone picks up, they're asked to take a survey.

But here's where we hit our first issue.

If people aren't forced to respond to the survey, we might experience something called

Non-Response Bias in which the people who are most likely to complete a survey are systematically

different from those who don't.

For example, people with non-traditional working schedules like retirees, stay at home parents,

or people who work from home might be more likely to answer a middle-of-the-day phone

survey.

This is a huge problem if those groups are different than the population as a whole.

If your survey was on health insurance plans, or political opinions, it's likely that

these three groups would have different opinions than the population, but they represent the

majority of survey responses, which means your data won't represent the total population

very well.

This is also related to Voluntary Response Bias in which people who choose to respond

to voluntary surveys they see on Facebook...or Twitter... are people who again, are different

than the broad population.

This is especially true with things like customer service surveys.

People who respond tend to have either very positive or very negative opinions.

See the comment section below.

The majority of customers with an average experience tend not to respond because service

wasn't noteworthy.

Wait.

Does that mean I'm not noteworthy?

Another source of bias is just plain underrepresentation.

If a group of interest is a minority in the population, random sampling paired with response

biases might mean that that minority isn't represented at all in the sample.

Let's say there is a city where 5% of the population is single mothers, it's entirely possible

that the sample will contain no single moms.

To overcome these issues, we have a couple options.

We could weight people's responses so that they match the population (like, counting

the few single mothers who do respond multiple times so that they count for 5% of the total sample).

But, this can be problematic for the same reasons that response bias is problematic.

If the few single mothers who respond don't represent all single mothers, our data is

still biased.

In a 2016 LA Times/USC political tracking poll, a 19-year-old black man was one of 3,000

panelists who was interviewed week after week about the upcoming presidential election.

Because he was a member of more than one group that was underrepresented in this poll, his

response was weighted 30x more than the average respondent.

According to the New York Times, his survey boost his candidate's margins by an entire

percentage point.

Stratified Random Sampling is another option.

It splits the population into groups of interest and randomly selects people from each of the

"stratas" so that each group in the overall sample is represented appropriately.

Researchers have used stratified sampling to study differences in the way same-sex and

different-sex couples parent their kids.

They randomly select people from the same-sex parenting group and... randomly select people

from a different-sex group of parents to make sure that they're well represented in the

sample.

Another issue is that getting surveys to people can be expensive.

If a cereal company wants to see how families react to their new cereal, it would be costly

to send some cereal to a random sample of all families in the country.

Instead they use Cluster Sampling which create clusters (not Honey Nut Clusters) that are naturally occuring (like

schools, or cities) and randomly select a few clusters to survey instead of randomly

selecting individuals.

For this to work, clusters cannot be systematically different than the population as a whole and

and they should about equally represent all groups.

Issues can also arise when the population being surveyed is very small or difficult

to reach, like children with rare genetic disorders, or people addicted to certain drugs.

In this case, surveyors may choose to not use randomness at all, and instead use Snowball Sampling.

That's when current respondents are asked to help recruit people they know from the

population of interest... since people tend to know others in their communities and can

help researchers get more responses.

And note that these sampling techniques can and are used in experiments as well as surveys.

There are also non-experimental data collection methods like a Census.

A Census is a survey that samples an ENTIRE population.

The United States conducts a Census every 10 years, with the next one scheduled to be

done in 2020.

It attempts to collect data from every.single.resident of the United States (even undocumented residents,

and homeless residents).

As you can imagine, this is hard, and it is not without error.

In Medieval Europe, William the I of England conducted a census in order to properly tax

the people he had conquered.

In fact a lot of rulers tended to use censuses to know just how much money they should be

demanding.

Until the widespread availability of computers, the US census data took almost 10 years to

collect and analyze.

Meaning that the data from the last census wasn't even available until right before

the next census.

The length of time it took to complete the census is part of the reason we even have

computers...check out our CompSci series for more on that.

So why collect census data--instead of just sampling the population?

In the US--the Census could cost more than 15 Billion dollars in 2020.

There are a lot of reasons.

The constitution says we have to, but also the census provides the truest measure of

the population we can get.

It minimizes sampling error.

It also functions as a benchmark for future studies.

And a census can give researchers really specific information about small groups of the population--information

that might be hard to gather with regular sampling methods.

Doing statistics on Census data is different, because most statistical inference aims to

take a small sample and use it to make guesses about that population.

But with a census we already have data from the entire population, we don't need to

guess if there are differences, we can just see them.

Analysis on Census data is usually more concerned with whether differences we see are large

enough to make a difference in everyday life, rather than guessing IF there is a relationship.

The census as we said can take years.

And entire countries to fund.

That doesn't discount the value of sampling.

But we should be cautious...Badly worded polls, fake polls, and biased polls are common.

So are the results of those polls.

The statistics-friendly website FiveThirtyEight put together a great list of advice on how

not-to-fall for a fake poll.

Among its advice--Ask yourself if it seems professional.

Check to see who conducted the poll--and if you trust them.

See how the poll was conducted.

Check out the questions they asked...and who they asked.

If it seems fishy.

It probably is fishy.

That said, well done surveys are essential.

They allow us to get information without all the trouble of doing an experiment, and since

they're comparatively easy, they're popular ways for businesses, countries, and even Youtube

channels to collect information.

In fact Crash Course Statistics has its own survey! The Link is in the description.

And it takes way less time than the Nerdfighteria one. I promise.

Thanks for watching. I'll see you next time.

How to Take Care of Yourself When You're Sick - Duration: 6:07.

[♪INTRO]

Hey there.

I just got over a cold... so today I wanted to talk about taking care of yourself when you're sick.

I invited my friend and writer of this episode, Kate Whittle, to help me out.

[ding]

Being sick can be the worst.

At least when I was a kid, my mom would bring me orange juice and put on a good movie for me.

Now that we're adults, we have to bring ourselves the orange juice.

So let's talk about some tactics for adulting while you're under the weather.

But here's an important disclaimer:

We are not medical professionals, and this video is not a substitute for seeking medical

help in the case of a serious illness.

Okay...

Let's go.

[Kate and Rachel fake a sneeze simultaneously]

Step 1: Take preventative measures.

Yeah, sorry, we know, maybe you already are doing this stuff, but it bears repeating:

Try to get enough sleep!

Exercise!

Drink water!

Wash your hands!

Avoid cigarettes!

Eat nutritious food!

Get your flu shot!

Ouch!

If you do all these things and still catch a bug, hey, it happens.

You can never have 100% control over whether or not you get sick, so don't beat yourself

up if you do.

Step 2: Head it off at the first sign.

If you're noticing some warning signs of impending illness, try to pay attention to them.

They might include feeling weird and tired and muscle-achey, or a little bit sniffly,

or feeling a tickle at the back of your throat.

If you can, try to really go gentle on yourself.

Go to bed early, and drink plenty of fluids.

Hopefully by giving yourself a rest, your body can fight off the virus or whatever it

is quickly.

Step 3: Combat the physical symptoms.

Sometimes, despite our best efforts, we do get sick.

And if you're an adult, you probably need to deal with a normal adult amount of responsibilities.

Here are some ideas for simple things that can soothe your suffering.

Got a thermos or travel mug?

[chimes SFX]

Fill it with hot, non-caffeinated tea and honey and carry that with you everywhere.

Carry a bag stocked with everything you need, like soft Kleenex, cough drops and hand sanitizer.

Consider grabbing some over the counter medications that can help with coughing, pain, and stuffiness.

Set up a humidifier in your room to help you breathe easier, and try to change the water

each day.

If your sinuses are stuffy, Neti pots are a great way to loosen things up.

You can usually find them in the pharmacy section of most grocery stores, but it's

really important to follow the instructions on the bottle, and ALWAYS use distilled or

sterile water.

Soup can be a great way to get more fluids and soothe a sore throat, but take care to

avoid overly salty ones.

And try to eat things that have real fruits and vegetables in them, if you can.

Step 4: Narrow your to-do list down as much as possible.

Figure out which things you absolutely have to do, and then delegate or postpone everything else.

Even if you can't take time off from work or school, contact your boss or your professors

to ask if you can do some work at home and keep your germs away from them.

If you can, avoid public places to prevent spreading the illness.

If someone wants to shake your hand, do them a favor and explain that you don't want

to spread your bug.

If going to the grocery store sounds awful, depending on where you live, there might be

a smartphone app available to help you order food and supplies and have them delivered.

If you don't have access to an app like this, and if you ask really graciously, a

friend or family member or co-worker might also be willing to swing by the grocery store

for you.

Step 5: Take care of your emotions!

Being sick can make even the toughest person feel like a whiny baby.

Now's a great time to put on your softest sweatshirt and indulge in your most comforting

TV, music, magazines or books.

If social media stresses you out… consider limiting it.

And, if you're staying home from work and you don't have to stay in touch, turn off

all of your work notifications and email.

Oh, and take care what you decide to watch, too.

Violent or really intense shows always seem to really stress me out more when I'm sick.

Zombies stress me out.

It's okay to reach out to your friends or family if you need help, too.

Whether it's the aforementioned grabbing groceries or just talking to you on the phone,

the people you're close with will probably want to help you out if they can.

Step 6: Seek medical attention if it's the right situation.

For your average viral cold or flu, there's not a whole lot that a doctor can do.

But if your symptoms have been bad for more than a week or two, you might want to head

to a walk-in clinic.

If you're on the fence about it, some hospitals offer a free "Call a Nurse" hotline where

you can talk to a registered nurse about your symptoms and what's going on.

Remember, going to the emergency room is expensive and not the best place for a minor illness.

See if a walk-in community clinic is in your area; some are now even located in pharmacies

like CVS.

Disclaimer: We are still not medical professionals so their advice trumps anything we have to say.

Trying to get things done while you're sick really sucks, but hopefully these tips can help.

1, 2, 3, sneeze.

Okay.

1... 2... 3...

[weakly] choo...

Okay. Um...

I'll just put it in my mug.

[laughter]

I'm going to do finger guns unless you guys don't want me to.

I just have that weird habit.

[off-screen] Finger guns are good.

Try to get enough sleep!

Oh boy.

[laughter]

Ha—is this too loud?

[silence]

[laughter]

[off-screen] There was no sound!

[off-screen] As long as it's totally silent

Yes. I don't want the germs.

Explain that you don't want to spread your bug.

Fist bump.

[laughter]

Breaking Out Of Washington: Turns Out It Was Obama, Not Comey! This is Unbelievable! - Duration: 2:59.

Breaking Out Of Washington: Turns Out It Was Obama, Not Comey!

This is Unbelievable!

This is unbelievable!

It's being reported in major media outlets that the press has had it wrong this entire

time…

It wasn't then-FBI Director James Comey or then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch's

decision to not prosecute Hillary Clinton for her use of a private email server.

The decision was actually made by former President Barack Hussein Obama.

Per National Review:

From the first, these columns have argued that the whitewash of the Hillary Clinton

emails caper was President Barack Obama's call — not the FBI's, and not the Justice

Department's.

The decision was inevitable.

Obama, using a pseudonymous email account, had repeatedly communicated with Secretary

Clinton over her private, non-secure email account.

If classified information was mishandled, it was necessarily mishandled on both ends

of these email exchanges.

If Clinton had been charged, Obama's culpable involvement would have been patent.

In any prosecution of Clinton, the Clinton–Obama emails would have been in the spotlight.

For the prosecution, they would be more proof of willful (or, if you prefer, grossly negligent)

mishandling of intelligence.

More significantly, for Clinton's defense, they would show that Obama was complicit in

Clinton's conduct yet faced no criminal charges.

On June 30, 2016, Senator Ron Johnson cited an FBI-drafted letter which indicated that

Obama was knowingly aware of Clinton's misuse of the email server:

We also assess that Secretary Clinton's use of a personal email domain was both known

by a large number of people and readily apparent.

She also used her personal email extensively while outside the United States, including

from the territory of sophisticated adversaries.

That use included an email exchange with the President while Secretary Clinton was on the

territory of such an adversary.

While it's shocking to learn that traitor-in-chief Barack Obama was ultimately behind Clinton's

exoneration, it doesn't come as a surprise.

Ever since Obama picked Clinton to be his Secretary of State, those two have been thick

as thieves.

Their minions at the FBI are really little more than pawns in a much larger chess game.

Now the question remains, will Obama be brought to justice for this crime and the others he

has committed?

That, ultimately, is up to Jeff Sessions and the Department of Justice.

For now, we can only pray and share this information with our friends and family.

The more public pressure there is, the more likely that Mr. Sessions will act.

what do you think about this?

Freezer Paper Stencil // Easy T-Shirt Printing Idea! - Duration: 4:43.

Hi there! Lindsay here, the Frugal Crafter. Today I'm going to show you how to do a

freezer paper t-shirt transfer. This is really handy and great anytime you

want to make like one or two t-shirts or t-shirts with all different designs. I

have a silkscreen, but I'm not gonna drag that out for just one shirt. So this is

freezer paper. You can find it at any grocery store, any department store, and

what it is is a plastic coated white paper, and actually this is good for

for making disposable palettes of, or just protecting your work

surface if your kids are painting too. So it's really a handy supply to have on

hand. Look, it even says "use for arts and crafts". There you go!

We got permission from Reynolds to use this for our arts and crafts. So

what you're going to do is, you can use any sort of knife that you have. I use my

die cutting machine and I just cut out a stencil, because my daughter has a bunch

of t-shirts that she wants to make for some friends, and so this is one of the

one of the shirts that I had to make, so I figured I'd go ahead and do a tutorial,

and you just want to gently cut it, because the paper is a little thin.

It's not as thin as like wax paper, but it's kind of delicate. Now,

this shirt is gonna say "clumsy", it's for my daughter, she asked to make this,

this is what she wanted on it, so I'm not calling her clumsy,

she's calling yourself clumsy, and if you have any letters that have like an O or

an A or something where you'd have like a middle, you just want to make sure you

save the middle piece. Now if you look at the freezer paper, you're going to see

the one side is matte and one side is shiny. Don't know if you can see that shiny or

not, but the shiny part is what is gonna fuse with your fabric, and you can use

any fabric but I've got some white t-shirts here that I'm gonna use, and

this is a one-time use only stencil, so if you wanted say, two shirts that said

"clumsy" you'd need two stencils, because they're only gonna last one application.

So I like to actually iron in the area that my decals gonna go, my

stencil rather, and that's just gonna warm up the fabric and it's gonna help

grab that stencil, and I'm just using men's t-shirts here, men's medium

t-shirts, and I'm just gonna set that, kind of center it up, put it where I want,

and I am using medium-high heat, just use that iron

setting for the fabric that you're using so you don't scorch it, but it's gonna

fuse pretty quickly. Now it's going to give you a light tack, so you will be

able to remove this pretty easily, now look at that, look how easy that was. Okay

so now that is fused and we can put a piece of cardboard into our shirt to

make it stiff so that we can paint it. You can use any old cardboard for this. I

actually keep a couple pieces that are t-shirt size in my studio for when my

kids want to make t-shirts, because it's surprising how frequently they like to

do that, and I figured, hey might as well just do this tutorial while I got a

t-shirt to do. Alright, now we'll go over to my desk it we'll paint this. I have

some fabric screen printing ink, but you can use any fabric

paint for this, and what I recommend you do is get a brush, you can get a

stencil brush or just one that's got a fairly blunt end, and what you're gonna

want to do is kind of pounce your paint on either the lid or a scrap of paper or

something just to make sure you don't have any big gobs, and then you are just

going to pounce up and down over your stencil, and just do that until you have

filled in your entire stencil, and then you're gonna let this dry. Ok, our t-shirt

is pretty well dry. I would leave it overnight it let it dry for sure, but I

just wanted to make sure that I got a chance to finish this up before my

daughter needed her shirt, but all you do is peel up the stencil, and the

reason you want it dry mostly is because you don't want to like accidentally drop

the stencil on your fabric and have it smudge, but look at the crisp,

beautiful results you get. I just, I wish my girls wanted more positive things on their

t-shirts, but they've got they've got a very twisted sense of humor, but look

at that. You get a beautiful crisp design. It looks like it's been screen printed,

it looks very professional, it's not gonna pick off or crack, because you just

have a thin layer of fabric paint there, and it's so easy to do, and you don't

need any special tools. You can cut this with scissors or an X-acto knife or with

your die-cutting machine if you have one, like my Cricut machine did great with

this, and anything like that is going to be fine. It's definitely something you

can do at home. You could even cut

shapes, like hearts and stars. Iron them down and have your kids spray

fabric paint on it, it would be a really cute idea. So all you need is freezer paper,

it's super easy, and I hope you enjoyed it. Please give me a thumbs up if you

enjoyed this tutorial. Until next time, happy crafting.

Discoveries That Changed What We Believed! - Duration: 11:41.

Here are some discoveries that changed a few things we believed!

9 - Secret void The mystery surrounding the construction of

the pyramid of Giza has marveled experts and fans alike throughout history.

Now, a new mystery has been added to the list.

According to experts, there's a secret void inside the Great Pyramid of Giza!

It's rare that Egyptology and particle physics mix, but back in November of 2017, scientists

made a truly baffling observation using cosmic particles blasting Earth from outer space.

For centuries historians have known that the inside of the pyramid is made up mainly of

halls and pathways, but never an inaccessible space.

Described as a long narrow void, the space is believed to measure at least 100 feet long,

and is located on top of the area known as "the grand gallery".

Although there's no certainty as to what was the purpose of the space, the mere existence

of this chamber has helped experts understand a little better the process that went behind

constructing the pyramids.

Experts still don't know what's inside the void, but they haven't ruled out finding

potential materials such as funerary items and treasures that are almost 5,000 years

old What do you guys think is in this void?

Something cool, or it's just a big empty space?

Let us know in the comments!

And oh yeah, do us a favor and hit the like button, right here!

8 - Tanzania Discovery When it comes to the timing of when humans

first appeared on Earth, there's a wide disconnect, as many experts have differing

opinions.

But one discovery that was found in the northern Tanzania, has helped to understand how and

when humans first came to be.

The Olduvai Gorge, a steep-sided ravine, has become one of the most important and interesting

archaeological sites in the world, mainly because of the fossils found on the site and

the evidence it confirmed.

Stretching 30 miles across the Serengeti, Olduvai Gorge became a milestone for understanding

human development, based on the results of the excavations performed by British and Kenyan

scientists.

Research indicated that the homo habilis species first populated the area around 1.9 million

years ago, a date that preceded the presence of homo erectus, and of course, the species

everyone knows, homo sapiens.

This fact, which was widely unknown to many people, served as confirmation that the human

species first appeared on Earth at a prior date than previous reports stated.

Well.

Depending on who you ask of course!

7 - Alien Planet Amazingly, only a few decades ago, the thought

of any alien planets existing was just a completely hypothetical idea.

Nowadays, we know of thousands of such planets.

However, what's even more amazing is that scientists may have discovered the best candidate

yet for alien life!

That candidate is an exoplanet orbiting a red dwarf star 40 light-years from Earth.

The international team of astronomers who discovered it have deemed it a "super-Earth."

Although the planet orbits a faint red dwarf star ten times closer than the Earth is to

the sun, that's not an issue because red dwarfs are much smaller and cooler than our

sun is.

The super-Earth lies in the middle of the habitable zone and receives around half as

much sunlight from its star as the Earth does!

The planet is about 6.6 times as massive as Earth and is probably made of rock with a

dense iron core.

For life to exist, a planet has to have liquid surface water and retain an atmosphere.

When red dwarf stars are young, they're known to emit radiation that can be damaging

for the atmospheres of the planets that orbit them.

However, this planet's large size means that a magma ocean could have existed on its

surface for millions of years.

This seething ocean of lava could have fed steam into the atmosphere long after the star

has calmed to its current, steady glow, replenishing the planet with water!

What do you guys think?

Are there aliens walking around on this planet?

Let us know in the comments!

6 - Machu Picchu Treasure The land of the Incas has been home to numerous

mysteries.

The allure of the South American jungle has prompted many explorers to try and find new

treasures and historical objects.

It all adds up to the captivating image the world has of Peru.

A recent discovery by French historian Thierry Jamin points to the existence of a hidden

treasure chamber that lays under the historical Machu Picchu.

Of course, there's no way a finding like this would go about without some controversy.

According to Jamin and his team, their electromagnetic equipment unearthed what they believe is a

secret door that, if opened, will reveal a chamber that they're certain contains treasures

in gold, silver and other precious metals.

When the Peruvian Ministry of Culture heard their intentions to excavate the historical

site, they denied all permit applications.

According to them, Jamin doesn't seem to be interested in the historical advancement the

excavation might bring to the site but was more concerned about the treasures they may

find.

They were also worried that the excavation project could jeopardize the stability of

Macchu Picchu.

Although other archaeologists have also studied the site and confirmed that they believe the

door is a passage to a burial site filled with treasure, there hasn't been any excavations

allowed by the Peruvian government.

5 - Zealandia Have you guys ever heard of a place called

Zealandia?

It's a big landmass almost entirely submerged underwater in the southwest Pacific ocean.

The highest mountains of Zealandia make up, you guessed it…...New Zealand.

Early in 2017, scientists made another push for the landmass to be recognized as a continent.

Roughly 94% of the landmass is underwater with only a few islands and three major areas

sticking out above the surface.

New Zealand's North and South Islands, and New Caledonia.

After a two-month drilling study that was performed 800 miles underwater, researchers

presented a report where they recognized the continent had a close proximity with the tectonic

plates of Australia and Antarctica.

This suggests that there were pathways or "natural bridges" in which animals and

plants could move around and populate the now submerged Zealandia.

Should textbooks start recognizing Zealandia as the 8th continent?

After all, just a few years ago, Pluto got the boot off the list of planets, changing

what had been taught in schools for decades.

There's no scientific body that formally recognises continents.

Maybe there just needs to be a push for it?

What do you guys think?!

Should Zealandia be a continent?!

Let us know in the comment section!

4 - Oldest Fossil Reef We've heard the stories of cities that no

longer exist.

Essentially after a couple million years, the places submerged underwater and disappear

into history.

But this is the case of something that's quite the opposite.

And it was quite the discovery!

This discovery pushed back the earliest known animals by some 90 million years.

From afar this formation looks only like simple rocks, part of the Flinders Ranges, South

Australia's largest mountain range.

But when closely inspected, it's actually a huge fossil reef that's ten times taller

than the Great Barrier Reef, the world's largest coral reef!

Princeton University geoscience professor Adam Maloof said he was looking for evidence

of early life in the Flinders Ranges when he stumbled upon the rocks.

He realized that they contained small red fossils of quote "some sort of organism".

Further analysis revealed the three-dimensional shape of a "sponge-like animal".

Multiple fossils found on the site indicated the presence of some of the oldest animals

ever found on Earth.

Previously, the oldest known fossils of hard-bodied animals were from two reef-dwelling organisms

that lived about 550 million years ago.

3 - Faster Craters A new study has found that new craters are

forming on the surface of the moon more frequently than scientists had predicted.

The discovery raises concerns about future moon missions, because I mean, it's pretty

dangerous when spacecraft and astronauts face an increased risk of getting hit by falling

space rocks!

The moon is dotted with a vast number of craters, some billions of years old.

Because the moon has no atmosphere, falling space rocks don't burn up like they do on

Earth, which leaves the moon's surface vulnerable to a constant stream of cosmic impacts.

These new findings also suggest that a number of young features on the moon's surface, such

as recent volcanic deposits, may in fact be even a bit younger than previously thought.

Although the odds of something on the lunar surface suffering a direct hit by asteroidal

or cometary debris is still very small, these new findings illustrate the potential dangers

posed by the rocks kicked up by these impacts.

2 - Antikythera Anty-kuh-ther-ah wreck Back in 1900, a crew of sponge divers discovered

what has become the most popular shipwreck in Greece: the Antikythera wreck.

Numerous objects were found on the site, including a set of statues that are believed to be dedicated

to philosophers and gods such as Ulysses, Hercules and Apollo.

For years, many researchers have studied the wreck and the area surrounding it, searching

for pieces that will help them understand ancient Greek society better.

One of the most significant findings was a piece of bronze with an interesting embedded

gear wheel.

To this date, this finding from 1902 is considered to be the most advanced artifact from the

era, as it turned out to be an ancient analog computer!

It's come to be known as the Antikythera Mechanism.

New explorations and research has uncovered new objects that indicate the intricacy of

ancient Greek engineers.

Subsequent excavations of the wreck delivered new finds from the ship.

One extraordinary find is an ancient weapon known as a dolphin, a 220 lb lead bulb tipped

with an iron spike, intended to be dropped from the ship's yardarm through the deck

and hull of an attacking vessel.

Perhaps the most intriguing artifact found since the Antikythera Mechanism was a small,

bronze disk.

Punctuated with holes and decorated with the image of a bull, it's unclear what the disk

was used for.

Who knows what they'll find in further expeditions!

1 - Armadillo Skull If you guys found a giant egg, would you almost

think that it may be a giant dinosaur egg?!

This is essentially what happened to Jose Antonio Nievas of Argentina!

He was taking a stroll outside of a farm in a town near Bueno Aires.

Much to his surprise, he saw a large shell-like object in the middle of a puddle near a riverbank.

After some preliminary examination of the object, experts believe it's the shell of

an armadillo-like prehistoric creature, the glyptodont.

A glypto-what?!

This prehistoric animal once roamed the swamps of South America, supposedly between two million

and 10,000 years ago.

Glyptodons are the ancestors of modern armadillos.

They're characterized by a large, round armored dome on its back, with squat legs

and a short head and neck.

They were herbivores that weighed up to a ton and could grow up to ten feet long!

The finding comes as no surprise to many experts, given how glyptodonts were an endemic species

of South America.

Who knew you could still find old shells from a giant armadillo back in the day!

Here's what's next!

A TRIP TO BUC-EE'S & GOING INTERNATIONAL | EP 46 Camper Van Life - Duration: 10:18.

this week we make our way to the dallas-fort Worth area to driveway surf

with friends get some Texas tacos and discover a few international travel

destinations

I'm really looking forward to the Travel Show me to see what destinations we find

that we haven't considered absolutely I think going back to the whole life after

leo chat that we did there's a lot of international travel that I'd love to do

and I'd really like to try to explore outside of the I think the standard like

the norm places you might consider going for a week or two in vacation

you mean the popular destination we had the popular ones but you know I would

kind of like to look off the beaten path I've had a lot of fun driving up this

way we especially stopping back in at Fredericksburg to go to the World War

two reenactment them going through and showing all the weapons and how they

were used and actually demonstrating them with blanks but still you know live

ammo being it was seeing here a lot of those weapons I still can't believe they

had a real flamethrower yes that was the biggest shocker of all I was

half-expecting during some part of that for planes to fly over and strafe the

grounders I think last week's video was the first

video where I never made an appearance well I was sick you were the one doing

all the shooting so just happened to work out that way and since Joe has been

giving me so much grief for my navigation skills I've told him that he

needs to start using the GPS I've given up and I've had no problem since oh it's

endless yep I'm gonna go in and ask them how many pumps they have okay

are you coming in with me let me pump us first and then we can go in if you have

to get how many pumps do you think they have

I would say well over a hundred oh so you can see the tail

if there's something you need they've got it in fuck you look there's even a

Texas Star howdy y'all really

flanked by delicious popcorn on other side

they were giving out samples of the sausage and I was very tempted thank you

welcome Paul since we've got a bit of a drive

let me fill up my water I can get it free all right Thank You Barry now the

question is where the bathrooms nicer than love and pilot much here you go

thank you two hours and nine minutes on the road if I can get out of here do you

want any music oh you want to check I would love some music what do you feel

like listening to whatever you put on for us okay country country it is

I feel like I should have made a cup of coffee for the driver a lot of people

have asked us how can we meet up with you while you're on the road and

everything else the best way is on patreon every month we put together a

bit of a meet-up wherever we happen to be and when possible we'll meet people

as we're driving around we had lunch with Diane today I was a lot of fun

Diane thank you so much and we do a live chat so if you're not in an area where

we are on Google hangout yeah we just sit down answer your questions it's a

lot like the live streams we do on YouTube but it's a lot more personal

usually there's five six people on there we all sit down it's almost like having

a big family talk okay it's just like I have a sitting around with a bunch of

friends and having a chat over a beer or something

I hold on I don't know if anyone heard you so Steve and Sandra because you were

laughing and mumbling months ago and they generously offered to let us drive

we serve with them in Fort Worth we begged them we basically begged I can't

wait

oh man the food is great the beer is things can be bad I saw a green chili

pork I think I went up to go off the reservation brushfire good and spicy

the Wrangler is a breakfast one and it has fun we'll be back soon

yes we're just gonna show up randomly on your driveway down I'll make you good

popular I had a great time with Steven thank you I especially love to eat night

a game night was a lot of fun and the boys wanted I call for a rematch time

off off to the Travel Show in students so we decided to stop at the farmer's

market in Dallas it's a this area is here all week long then they do the

outside section on the weekends cut some olive bread

this is sourdough and it's absolutely delicious

okay now we can go to the Travel Show I got my breakfast are you ready to go and

get my business cards I mean nifty little pocket here I like

that you changed shirts just for the show hey you gotta look nice

I really like your new backpack

we're all checked in not our press pack pamphlet where do you wanna start I say

we just start on one side and work our way across Cambodia I feel like we're

gonna find so many great places we want to visit after the show

well I'm focusing our plan and we hope you feel enjoy and feel a part of our

heart

that was a lot of fun so let's see I would say top three would be Cambodia

Indonesia and Philippines yeah those are my top

three and I would add that one yeah all right let's do it now we just have to

now we just have to figure out when and exactly where

where would you go and where do you want us to okay

to the van let's go regroup time to eat lunch we're gonna have a Chinese brown

rice bowl that I just made in the instant pot and if you're interested in

everything that went into this recipe and how to make it become a wtr family

member by heading over to patreon are you ready for lunch

I let PERFECTION get in the way of GOOD ENOUGH - Duration: 5:07.

What's up everyone my name is Jake Frew and I've been on kind of an unofficial

hiatus from YouTube lately I want to talk about that in today's

video but long story short the vlog is back!

Back around the holidays earlier this year, or last year, I took a trip to New

York City for the first time in my life. I went with my friend Will and I just

wanted to film everything. I was inspired by everything around me I was excited to

make videos. I was making Instagram stories, I wanted to make a youtube video

about it and by the time I got back home and was reviewing the footage a couple

weeks later, I just was having the hardest time putting together a video.

Just from the time that I filmed in New York City to the time I started editing,

I had learned so much about my camera and how to film that I was a little

disappointed in some of my footage, and the storyline just wasn't lining up. I

didn't have a cohesive plotline for my video. Anyways I guess that's it. I

haven't thought of a storyline yet so I guess we'll just talk about what we're

doing. I still no New Years Eve plans yet. We gotta

figure out what to do on New Year's Eve. But that's okay because we're in the city of

opportunity. Is that what they call it? No I dont think so. I think it's the

city that never sleeps. City of dreams? Speaking of which, Will went to bed at 6 a.m.

last night! We made it to Times Square. I'm just kidding it's not New

Year's Eve Will get in here! No. Why not? And so because

of this I just sat on the footage and didn't do anything with it

Casey Neistat in one of his videos says... he says "Don't let perfection get in the

way of good enough" and that's exactly what I was doing I haven't posted on

YouTube in months because I didn't have the perfect New York City video that I

wanted. So that's why I'm here today, I wanted to talk about following through.

And if you have a creative project or an idea any work of art, just finish it! Move

on, post it, because I think especially for the situation I'm in, I'm making

videos because I love it and because I want to improve. If I'm never posting a

video because it's not perfect, I'm not gonna have the chance to just keep

improving as I post more and more. So my story line's not good, I'm not happy with

all of the footage I got, but here's the New York City vlog!

We rode a helicopter today. It was super sick. We rode ferry today. Not quite as sick.

What? That was just as...okay it wasn't as sick. But still stick.

Riding a helicopter today.

Alright so that's it for the video, thanks for watching! If you enjoyed it at

all, hit the 'like' button, subscribe to the channel, it really helps me out a lot as

I try to grow? Why am I asking for people to do that? Hmmm, yeah nevermind don't

push any buttons, just thanks for watching!

Myrtle Beach Real Estate- Tips On How To Win A Home In Multiple Offer Situation - Duration: 4:05.

Hey guys it's Jeremy Blanton here with another two minute Tuesday where this week we are

going to talk about how to win in a multiple offer situation.

Let's get started.

Ok, so this week I'm going to share with you 5 tips for helping you to win in a multiple

offer situation.

Let's put two minutes on the clock and let's get into this.

Ok, so when it comes to multiple offer the number one thing that the sellers going to

look at in most situations is the price.

They are going to see who is giving the most amount of money for their property so that

they are going to put the most amount of money in their pocket.

It is important that you put your best foot forward when doing this but not overpay for

the property, especially if you are looking at doing financing.

The second thing that you want to pay attention to in a multiple offer situation to give you

the best opportunity to win the date of closing.

If the seller of that property needs to move out and find a property to go, they may want

a longer time in order to find the property they need.

If they own it and it is vacant and they want to get it sold quickly, you may have to offer

something quickly.

What I like to do from time to time is to find out that information ahead of time from

the selling agent so that when I'm putting together my offer and presenting it we are

setting a date that's going to work best for both parties.

The third thing that you want to pay attention to in a multiple offer situation in order

to get you the best foot forward and the best chance of winning is the contingencies that

you put in.

Are you writing this offer contingent upon selling another home?

Is it contingent upon a home inspection?

Is it something where you are trying to get the seller to give you closing costs?

Or you are trying to have them fix a bunch of things in the house?

If those things are happening, they are all contingencies that make more work for the

seller.

The less of those you have in your offer, the better likelihood you are to be picked

over some of the other offers out there.

The fourth thing that you want to pay attention to is your money side of things.

If you are paying cash for this property, get you a proof of funds letter ahead of time

from your bank and submit it with your offer.

If you are doing financing, you can still buy the property and win it when you are doing

financing if you have a pre-approval ahead of time.

I'll share with you guys at the end how I recently won a multiple offer situation where

we had financing over a cash offer.

So the fifth tip I want to talk about today is earnest money.

Earnest money is the down money you are putting down with your offer to show that you have

interest in this property.

While someone else might put only $500 or $1,000 down, if you were to put maybe $2,000,

$3,000, $5,000 down you are going to make your offer look more appealing.

Now you do run a risk of losing that money if you were to walk away from the deal, but

if everything goes as planned, and you end up closing on the property, it's going to

help set you apart from someone else.

So I hope you found a lot of value in these five tips today.

And as I mentioned a few minutes ago I wanted to share with you a story recently where I

had a multiple offer situation and my buyers were able to win.

We were in a multiple offer situation, the agent told us there were other offers on the

table make sure you bring your highest and best offer in.

So I spoke with my buyers and we did what these 5 tips said.

We got a pre-approval ahead of time, we got a strong earnest money, we allowed the sellers

to pick the date we are going to close, and we wrote it with basically no contingencies

in and our offer was picked over other ones.

Were we probably the highest number one?

Maybe not.

But, having those four other items in place for us was able to help us win over some of

the others.

I know for a fact, one of those other offers even was a cash offer.

But our financing one was taken over it.

So take these five tips to heart, put them into practice and you will be able to win

in a multiple offer situation.

Hope you guys found value in this today, make sure to give it a thumbs up, share it with

your friends, and I'll talk to you all later, bye!

Trey Gowdy Makes Treasonous Discovery After Digging Through Thousands of FBI Text Messages - Duration: 10:38.

Trey

Gowdy Makes Treasonous Discovery After Digging Through Thousands of FBI Text Messages

FBI agent Peter Strzok was let go from the silly "Russian Collusion" examination

by unique guidance Robert Mueller after it was uncovered that he had traded some condemning

writings with his courtesan and kindred FBI examiner, Lisa Page.

In the instant messages, the two said a "mystery society" that was focused at bringing down

President Trump.

This past Monday, director of the House Cybersecurity Committee, Congressman John Ratcliffe, conveyed

a tweet which impugned the FBI's "show inclination" following the disclosure of

the tweets.

Ratcliffe's tweet came after reports that FBI specialist Peter Strzok had messaged about

a strange "mystery society," which he guaranteed would devastate President Donald

Trump.

At first, Strzok was an individual from the group that was exploring the asserted "intrigue"

between President Trump and Russia amid the 2016 presidential race.

Strzok's interchanges have now turned into a major piece of the proof demonstrating that

the Mueller examination was a prepare wreck.

The way that Strzok's writings demonstrated exactly how one-sided the agents working on

it were, demonstrates that the whole thing was screwed from the begin.

Delegates Trey Gowdy and John Ratcliffe are out to discover answers.

Both Gowdy and Ratcliffe showed up on Fox News on Monday.

Ratcliffe was cited saying, "It is conceivable these instant messages that are missing, maybe

they truly were lost.

Maybe it is another peculiar occurrence.

It is increasingly hard for us to clarify one bizarre occurrence after another.

We realize that Strzok and Page had an exceptional hostile to Trump inclination.

Also, that is OK, insofar as they abandon it carry out their activity.

We adapted today in the a large number of instant messages we have looked into, that

maybe they might not have done that.

We think about this 'protection strategy' that was referenced endeavoring to keep Donald

Trump from getting to be president.

We adapted today about data that in the prompt result of his decision, there may have been

a 'mystery society' of people inside the Department of Justice and the FBI, to incorporate

Page and Strzok, conflicting with him.

I'm not saying that really happened, but rather when people talk in those terms, they

have to approach to clarify the unique situation."

Gowdy followed up Ratcliffe's announcement by including some data about the "mystery

society."

He expressed, "You have this protection arrangement in Spring 2016, and after that

the day after the race, what they truly would not like to have happen, there is a content

trade between these two FBI specialists, these expected to be actuality driven FBI operators

saying, 'Maybe this is the main gathering of the mystery society.'

So I will need to realize what mystery society you are discussing, on the grounds that you

should explore dispassionately the individual who simply won the Electoral College.

No doubt about

it —

I will need

to know."

[KOR SUB] REACTION! BTS Jin and RM Dancing Bangtan Bomb- Behind the Scenes - Duration: 10:39.

Hello everybody, my name is Maggie and welcome to my channel, or welcome back to

my channel. I like to react to K-pop videos on the Internet.

I am so glad that you're here with me. Today we are taking a look at RM and Jim's-

Jin's Bangtan Bomb behind the scenes, when they were dancing for the birthday

celebration, and I just need to say that the level of empathy that I have for

these two guys, and respect, empathy, I relate, it's, it's, it's here. It's here

with us. Because I can't dance! I can't dance! I can like, go to a show, that type

of dance, but if you try to put me on choreography, you better bury my

five-foot-one ass in the back, behind the set. That's how bad. And coming from a

theatre background, they would actually bury my five-foot-one ass in the set. So

I, I wasn't ashamed. When I was a senior in high school, my last show, my

dance partner actually had to mouth the words to me every night, of what we were

supposed to do. So the fact that these guys are doing this? Respect. Okay, if this

is your first time to my channel, I run a Twitter poll every single week, you

decide what I upload on Mondays. My Twitter handle is @ReactionaryMag.

It's all fancy up here. Not really. Um, let's see. Is there anything else before we dive in? I don't

think so. I'm excited. Let's do this. All right, and play.

Oh, it's so good. I understand now what people say about J-Hope always using pah-pah-pah to teach.

And I could see, like, how cool is it that they all help each other out?

Cause I see J-Hope helping Jin all the time.

What's Kookie doing? Is he helping or is he just like, chilling? Nope, yeah, he's--

God, J-Hope, I can't take my mo- my eyes off him right now, he is messing my stuff up.

Oh my god, Jimin, this is, this is going to mess me up, the whole thing, and I'm supposed to be focusing on

RM and Jin. It's not happening!

Didn't need it, didn't need it! Especially not singing Cypher. Get out.

Demon. Get thee out.

Oh, I love him.

Don't make fun of him. You encourage him. Build him up.

I believe in you.

I'm sorry, dial me back in?

Oh. Doing better than I ever would.

Don't.

God, I- oh.

This is really, really hard. Okay.

Jin! You did it. You did good. You did good.

I'm sorry! We all know how I feel about dancers. This is really, really fucking me up.

You did it!

Look at the look of satisfaction on his face. Cause me. That would be me.

Oh no. Oh no. I would have fallen. And fall. There would have been no and three.

God bless them for always helping each other out. It's the best. It's the best! Right? Am I right?

Done. Done, done, done.

Because they work so hard.

I love every single one of these guys so much.

All for different reasons.

It's not working. For me to try to block Jimin out is not working. Okay, hold on.

Does that work? No. It doesn't.

Oh, don't get, don't get frustrated. You got this, RM.

You got it! You got it! Yay! I'm like their biggest cheerleader right now.

Oh.

No, don't get discouraged, don't get discouraged. Stay happy.

This is a hard dance, my god!

Tutting is hard! It's really, really hard. I've had people try to teach me, like,

internationally renowned people. I suck.

Oh. Don't laugh at him.

You encourage him.

Oh! And I'm done.

Jin's got some more of the like, popping down.

This music is amazing. I want to know what it is.

Yeah!

See?

Even Suga's into it.

Yeah.

Yeah, your little boy's all grown up. And he's the oldest.

Okay.

God, this look with J-Hope works for me. The sunglasses, that shirt, that whole thing works for me.

And your voice works for me too.

Oh no!

Be happy.

So excited.

Yay!

All right. Tell me you wouldn't turn him down if he was doing that. Come on. You wouldn't.

Aw.

God, you're such a good rapper.

Suga can't. It-

I have a hard time when they're reacting too, because it makes me laugh.

Yes! Yes! Your boys are behind you.

All right, let's do this. Let's do it, let's do it!

For some reason I thought they would be dancing together.

He hasn't done anything and you're cracking up on him.

Fuck yes!

Two thumbs up!

Yes!

I will be the first to admit that I did not expect him to do as good as he's doing.

Yes!

Holy shit!

I did not expect him to do that good.

I, yeah, I'm surprised, I thought they were going to be dancing together, but oh my god!

Everything, everything, everything! Um, I love how they all help each other out, and to see

the reverse of this, of actually seeing J-Hope and Jimin

you know, assisting other people, cause I've seen it, you know--

RM helping people rap and stuff like that.

This was good. This was a good Bangtan Bomb.

Okay, well I hope you had fun! Uh, if you would like to subscribe to my channel, I would love to have

you around, where we talk a lot of stuff in the comments and we hang out, so please hit that subscribe button.

If you do that, I would love it if you'd hit the notification bell, because if you aren't with the notification squad,

they don't tell you when I upload. Which is Monday, Wednesday, Fridays, 3 pm Mountain Standard time.

And I'd love to have you, so let's don't miss out on that. And if you'd give this video a big like, that helps me

out a lot, and it helps me figure out what type of content you like to see too.

I hope that you have a good day, I hope you have a good week, whatever it is, and I will see you in my next

video very shortly. Take care. Bye.

THE JOURNEY TO CHIANG MAI THAILAND - Duration: 8:54.

- Okay, so it's 9:30 at night.

I'm getting my flight in three hours

to Bangkok and then on to Chiang Mai.

I booked this flight 12 hours ago.

I'll explain why it's so late later.

I've gotta go, ciao.

(upbeat string guitar music)

- [Airport Announcement] Few minutes to study

the following demonstrations, procedures and signs

for your own benefit.

- Alright, just arrive in Chiang Mai.

I'm at Chiang Mai Airport.

My first day in Chaing Mai, looking for a taxi.

It's 9:30 in the morning, let's find a taxi.

So it's 9:30 in the morning.

9:35, 9:40 in the morning.

And I have to explain why I've made a very quick decision

to not fly to the Maldives but to fly here.

I literally booked this flight

12 hours before my departure, to arrive here

in Chiang Mai right now, where I'm driving

to my accommodation on Nimman Street in Chiang Mai.

And so I'll explain the reason

for the change later but I'm super tired.

it was an eight hour flight from Melbourne to Bangkok

and then 55 minutes from Bangkok to Chiang Mai.

And I didn't sleep on the flight

and I feel really, really tired

so I apologise for the exhaustion.

(upbeat music)

Thank you so much, have a nice day.

Thank you.

Alright, let's go.

Let's try and check in.

Ouch.

It's only 10:00 in the morning

so I don't think they'll let me check in

but at least I can drop my bags off

and then go for a walk somewhere

and have my third coffee for the morning

and try and stay awake.

Take my laptop with me.

Have a nice day.

Okay, so I think that's it over there.

Let's have a look.

I'm staying here because it's on a very long

and well-known street here called Nimman for short.

I don't know how to pronounce the whole, it's quite long.

It's quite a long name.

Here we go.

Alright, so it's 10:00 in the morning and I can't check in

so I dropped my bags off and I'm just walking around

some of the streets in Chiang Mai.

I have my laptop here.

(upbeat music)

So just walking down Nimman, I'll throw the map

up on the screen so you know exactly where I am.

There's so many cafes along here.

So many really nice looking cafes too.

Check out this place.

A lot of hostels that you can stay in along here

but I'm really impressed.

A lot of boutique coffee shops and

if I can't find Punspace, which is where I'm going to now,

then I'll come back to one of these places.

But, really, really nice if you're into,

if you love coffee I'm sure this is a great place.

Nimman 17.

Come and check it out.

Take that in the morning, Punspace,

co-working space, is closed.

So I might just go to a cafe, open up my laptop,

and start working.

They're not open today 'cause it's Sunday.

So tired, I'm so freaking tired.

(upbeat music)

Check this place out.

Had two coffees and a toast here.

Hello there.

(laughs)

He's happy.

Really, really cool place.

Been here for a couple of hours.

Should definitely come and check it out.

Alright, so it's 1:30 in the afternoon.

I've spent about two hours in that cafe,

maybe three hours in that cafe.

Just working on my laptop because I can't check in early.

I can only check in at 2:00 PM.

It's one-something.

What time did I say it was?

I'm so jet-lagged and I'm so tired.

I haven't slept so I apologise.

But it was in that cafe before, all those teddy bears.

It was a little bit weird,

basically having coffee in a bedroom.

Actually felt like that.

But nevertheless, it was quite good and, how are you?

And, yeah, definitely check that place out.

They actually make really good coffee there.

So if you're on Nimman,

and I'll point that street out again,

definitely come out and check the strip out.

Lots of coffee shops along here.

Anyway, I am gonna go and check in.

At least try to.

Alright good news is, is that I'm allowed

to check into our room early.

Just past 1:00 and...

Let's check this place out.

I'm in room 311.

Just chucking this camera around.

Door's already open, that's interesting.

Knock knock.

Why's my door open?

Oh wow, this is really nice.

Check this out.

Wow, this is really good.

This is luxury, guys.

Gonna close my door.

Hope no one's in here.

This is really nice.

I gotta kitchenette.

This is, I didn't even really look at the photos.

I just book things very quickly, like you know it before.

Like I booked my flight 12 hours before my departure

and I didn't really care where I was sleeping

but this is where I'm staying.

This is where, I'm staying here for three nights.

This is just, the bed's comfortable.

This is like an executive suite.

I really feel like I've gone all out.

And this is, like, $300 for three nights.

300 bucks for three nights, guys.

300 bucks.

$333 and

very impressive.

Too bad I'm on my own, right?

I can't share this with anybody, except you watching this.

I'll throw the details up at this place,

more than happy too but, oh my god, look out.

A spa.

Where's the light switch?

There's no light switch in here.

Oh gosh.

I didn't think I'd have a spa.

(flips light switch)

I need to put the key in.

Alright lights.

Lights.

No lights.

Okay well we don't really need light.

Look at that, there's a spa here.

This is so cool, oh boy.

I was not expecting that.

There's no pics of the spa.

Geez, oh man, this is really, really fancy.

Really fancy.

Okay, so if you know me through the videos and so forth,

you'll know that I stay, I don't really care

where I sleep as long as I have a roof

and a basic mattress, and my stuff is not gonna go missing

when I wake up in the morning.

But this is beyond what I expected,

and super-pumped.

That's cool, I love this.

Alright, goodbye, speak soon.

(upbeat music)

- [Taxi Driver] One thousand baht.

One thousand baht.

(laughs) One thousand baht to get to Walking Street.

- 10 thousand. (laughs)

- This guy is pulling my leg.

How much?
