I'm ready to eat chocolate from New Zealand. - Yes! Yes, I am. You're not getting any. You're a bag.
Hey everyone, Dana here! - And Stefan. And today we're talking about New Zealand. - Why?
Why? Because our friends brought back some candy.
They went to New Zealand a couple of weeks ago, and when they came back they gave us
this little bag here. - Thank you! Yeah. Our friends made this bag. This bag is not from New Zealand.
They made that for us. Thank you so much. But yeah, they brought us back some chocolates.
And Stefan what did you say?
Instead of just eating the chocolates?
Yeah, I said let's make a video. - Yeah. - But you said.
I said this is just some chocolate from New Zealand and we don't know anything really
about this chocolate. But then I had the idea: oh! I know someone who might be able to help us out.
Recently I have been watching the videos from Rosie over on the Youtube channel Not Even French.
She's from New Zealand, but she lives now in France.
And I've really been enjoying her videos.
And so I reached out to her and asked if maybe she could tell us a little bit about the chocolates
that we have. And she agreed.
So we're doing a collaboration with her, and I'm excited to find out what she has to say
about the chocolates before we eat them.
But so, why did you come up with the idea to make this video on camera?
What's special to you about New Zealand?
Yeah, all I wanted since I can remember, I want to go to New Zealand for a trip.
Right when we met I asked you: if you could go anywhere in the world, where would you want to go?
And he was like... - New Zealand. Maybe because it's on the other side of the world.
Or because it has a really awesome landscape. - I remember your answer of why.
I asked you why. Do you remember your answer?
Because, oh yeah, because you can go snowboarding in the morning and go swimming in the afternoon.
Exactly. That was your answer. - I don't even know if it's true but... - That's what you came up with.
I didn't really know just how gorgeous it was until I started watching Not Even French's
videos, and then she has done some vlogging in New Zealand.
And I was like wow! - So when are we going? - Yeah, it's a really long flight, though.
So, should we try the candy? - Yes, I think we should definitely try it.

I'm a Kiwi living in Paris.
And today I'm here to help Dana and Stefan understand a little bit more about the Kiwi
treats that they're eating all the way from New Zealand.
I have to admit I'm kind of glad I'm here in Paris and not with you guys right now in person
because otherwise I would have major food envy.
We would share though. Our first chocolate is... - Peanut Slab.
Ah, the classic New Zealand Peanut Slab by Whittaker's.
Okay, so firstly Whittaker's is a New Zealand chocolate company so it's already the most
adored chocolate company in the whole country.
And then Peanut Slab, I would say, is their star product.
So as you can imagine the favorite chocolate bar from New Zealand's favorite chocolate
company pretty much makes the Peanut Slab New Zealand's favorite chocolate bar.
I think because it is so chunky and you know full of big chunky nuts.
It has quite a manly appearance, a manly feel to it.
And so it's really loved by Kiwi blokes.
So you often see the Peanut Slab getting whipped out at afternoon tea time on building sites,
manufacturing sites, etc.
It's definitely a classic afternoon tea break snack.
So apparently manly and... - It's heavy. - Yeah, it's heavy.
Apparently New Zealand's favorite chocolate bar.
I'm excited to see what we say to the favorite one. Can you open it?
No. Can I use my teeth? - You go ahead and be manly and use your teeth.
Can't even get that open...maybe it needs a woman's touch. - Yes. - You got it all wet!
Oh, it looks really good!
Ah, it looks really, yeah, just - You go first - massive.
Uh-huh. - I would say good solid chocolate. Nice peanuts. Not too salty.
No perfect. It gets 6 kiwis out of 6.
But wait, um, people from New Zealand are called Kiwis.
Then you have the kiwi the bird, and then you have the kiwi the fruit.
So what drawing am I going to make?
Am I going to make a person, the fruit or the bird? - The fruit. The fruit. - Not the bird? - No.
The fruit? - Uh-huh - It's just going to be a brown circle. A brown oval. - Make the cut open one.
Oh I'm going to make a cut open kiwi. Okay.
The next chocolate is called Picnic. - Picnic. - And it's from Cadbury.
The Picnic, what an absolute family favorite in New Zealand.
Yet again it's another nut and chocolate based bar.
We really do like smashing those two together, don't we?
The Picnic is just quite simply a classic, a household favorite, and whenever you're
sharing a variety box of chocolates, you know when you've got a selection of lots of different
flavors, the Picnic is always the first to go in any household.
See if I can open it this time. - Uh-huh. - There we go.
Let me. Oh, come on! - I know that taste. - I understand why that's first to go. That's really good.
In Germany there's something similar. - What? - A Lion. - I don't think I've even seen that.
This is great with the wafer. - Yeah. - The wafer really makes this.
That gets for me two American thumbs up again. But you're rating kiwis. - 5.5 kiwis out of 6.
The chocolate is a little bit too sweet for me.
Caramello.
Oh! Caramello! My favorite. Okay, so Cadbury itself is a UK based chocolate company.
But don't be fooled.
I went to London myself in search of Cadbury Caramello and what I ended up finding was
this Cadbury Caramel.
Which is obviously way less fun.
Anyway, I cracked into the chocolate block, and I can confirm 100% the recipes do not
taste the same.
New Zealand Caramello is a lot sweeter and a lot gooeyer.
So if you want the real deal, you're going to have to go all the way to New Zealand.
The similar product in the UK was not the same. - We know about that. - We know about that.
We made a video about that with things from the U.S. - It's linked up there.
I thought it was on this side. - No, it's this side. - The I is on this side? - Yes. - Are you sure?
No, the I is on this side. - I got it! - It's complicated, it's complicated.
And every time that he's on the other side of the camera and I struggle with it.
It's super simple, Dana! The I is there. - He says that to me. - I said the whole time the I is there.

Oh my gosh that really good caramel.

Just a side note, I would say that in general New Zealander's favorite flavors do tend to be caramel
and chocolate or nuts and chocolate.
Those are huge in New Zealand.
Maybe with a third runner up of mint chocolate.
Last chocolate! - I wanted to do it. I want to say it. Last chocolate. - Oh okay.

Yeah, I'm really curious about this one.
Welcome to the world of Marvelous Creations.
New Zealanders definitely have a thing with smashing some really random things together
and making a chocolate bar out of it.
We've got corn flakes and chocolate; ice cream flavors and chocolate; give us anything, jelly
beans, kiwi fruit, we'll smash it together, we'll make a chocolate bar out of it.
And the Marvelous Creations definitely speaks to this.
The Marvelous Creations range is really about putting random sweets, lollies, candies, whatever
you want to call them, surprising flavors, things that crackle, pop, things that are
sour, for example, and putting them into a chocolate bar.
You know, in New Zealand there's currently a rumor that we may even bring out Marmite chocolate.
How gross would that be?
Anyways, this bar is just yet another attempt of kind of putting some random things together,
and it kind of working.
Two things, two things before we launch into this.
Number one: did she say ice cream flavored chocolate? - Uh-huh. - New Zealand!
Number two: I've heard of Marmite.
I have never had it.
Do you know what it is?
It's, people try it on YouTube all the time. There's so many... - It's something to spread.

I really appreciate the creativity that went into that chocolate bar.
For me is was a little bit weird having chewy jelly beans in my chocolate.

Thomas Tuchel in talks to replace Arsene Wenger after snubbing Bayern Munich ● News Now ● #AFC - Duration: 2:15.
THOMAS TUCHEL has reportedly turned down the chance to manage Bayern Munich and has already
held talks with Arsenal.
Bayern Munich are looking for a new manager to take over from 72-year-old JuppHeynckes.
Heynckes came out of retirement when Carlo Ancelotti was sacked earlier this season,
and has been vocal in his desire to see Tuchel get the job next.
But according to reports in Germany, former Borussia Dortmund boss Tuchel was rejected
Bayern and told them he wants to manage abroad.
The 44-year-old German has been without a club since last May when was axed by Dortmund
just days after leading them to German Cup success.
Tuchel has been linked with Arsene Wenger's job at Arsenal and Antonio Conte's at Chelsea.
And German TV channel Sport1 claim Tuchel has already negotiated with Arsenal about
taking over from the Frenchman.
It is added Chelsea would be keen on him if as expected they part company with Conte at
the end of the season.
Paris Saint-Germain are also mooted as an option for Tuchel, but Arsenal appear to be
the frontrunners.
Tuchel is well known by Arsenal's new head of recruitment Sven Mislintat, with the pair
working together at Dortmund.
Although it has been said that they endured a somewhat rocky relationship.
Bayern had lined up the highly-rated German to be their new man with Heynckes set to leave.
And the caretaker boss even said: "Thomas Tuchel has the quality to coach Bayern.

Social Security income?
Year after year Americans watch their cost of living go up but their Social Security
check stays the same.
Even the recent increase, thanks to President Trump and a booming economy, is not keeping
up with the cost of Medicare.
And now a new report shows that Congress is cheating Americans out of proper increases
so their payments will never keep up with cost of living.
Democrats claim that Republicans want our seniors eating dog food, but the reality is
both parties of Congress are complicit.
They need to start working together to take care of people who have paid into Social Security
faithfully over the years.

(Reuters / Fred Prouser) Americans receiving Social Security benefits
in 2018 can expect to see the program's largest payment increase in years, according
to the trustees report released Thursday.
In January, recipients will receive a $28 monthly increase in benefits, which, although
amounts to just 2.2%, is much larger than the 0.3% increase in benefits recipients collected
this year.
In 2016 the program offered no payout increase.
The average monthly payment for the program's 61 million beneficiaries is $1,253.
Despite the good news, Social Security and Medicare are still dealing with looming cash
shortfalls.
OASDI maintains funding levels will run dry by the mid-2030's, with Medicare Part A
projected to be depleted in 2029—one year later than projected in last year's analysis.
If Congress allows either fund to be depleted, millions of Americans living on fixed incomes
would face steep cuts in benefits.
Neither Social Security nor Medicare faces an immediate crisis.
But the trustees warn that the longer Congress waits to address the program's problems,
the harder it will be to sustain Social Security and Medicare without significant cuts in benefits,
big tax increases or both.
"Lawmakers should address these financial challenges as soon as possible," the trustees
wrote in their report.
"Taking action sooner rather than later will permit consideration of a broader range
of solutions and provide more time to phase in changes so that the public has adequate
time to prepare."
Republicans in Washington have long clamored to address the long-term financial problems
of Social Security and Medicare, the largest benefit programs run by the federal government.
But don't expect them to do much about it.
Over the years, House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wis., has insisted on overhauling those programs,
proposing a voucher-like system for Medicare and calling for partially privatizing Social
Security.
Now that Republicans control Congress and the White House, Ryan says he doesn't want
to tackle Social Security.
Instead, Republicans and the White House are focused on repealing and replacing former
President Barack Obama's health care law.
President Donald Trump has promised not to cut Social Security or Medicare, though his
budget proposal for next year would reduce Social Security's disability benefits by
nearly $70 billion over the next decade.
The savings would come from encouraging, and in some cases requiring, people receiving
the benefits to re-enter the workforce.
But even if Trump finds the savings, it wouldn't come close to solving the program's long-term
financial problems.
Social Security is independently funded by payroll taxes, so it is not subject to annual
spending bills approved by Congress.
AARP hopes it stays that way.
"Social Security should remain separate from the budget.
Medicare can improve if we reduce the overall cost of health care, rather than impose an
age tax, and if we lower prescription costs, instead of giving tax breaks to drug and insurance
companies," said AARP CEO Jo Ann Jenkins.
Over the past decade, Social Security and Medicare made up about 40 percent of federal
spending, excluding interest on the debt — and that share is projected to grow in the future,
according to the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office.
Fifty years ago, the two programs accounted for 16 percent of federal spending
The programs are expanding in part because the U.S. is growing older.

Comic Book Condition Examples for Eighty-Eye Samurai 300 Sub Contest!! - Duration: 2:06.
Hey Gang!
80-Eye Samurai hit 300 subs, and he's having a contest.
He wants to know the grade of comic we're willing to buy.
For me, it depends.
If it's a spec book, I want it to be nice and sharp, I want the colors to burn my retina,
I want the blacks to put me in a depressive state, I want the whites, well you get the
idea.
Cuz if the book should bounce, I'm probably not gonna flip it, but I'd like to have
that option.
I was at my local flea market, and a dealer had a bunch of overpriced junk.
But he had very underpriced Swamp Things, at a dollar a piece.
And he had Swamp Thing 50.
It had not yet bounced, so it would've been a spec book.
And it was in kinda ratty condition.
And I figured, I already have a Swamp Thing 50 in ratty condition, so I'll keep the
dollar.
Well, now that dealer has that copy of Swamp Thing 50 sitting in a pile on a card table
at a Antique Mall with a 25 dollar price tag.
No one's gonna buy it, and I regret not picking it up for the dollar.
But obviously, for comics I just want to own, I consider age, price, and general desirability.
If it's cheaper than dirt and I want to read it or it's a key, condition doesn't
really matter.
In fact, I'd rather have lower grade copies to read.
I still haven't read Devil Dinosaur cuz I got this reasonably high-grade lot off ebay
a few years ago for cheapsies, and I'm too inhibited to sit down and enjoy them for fear
that I'll V-Eff them up.
And he wants us to take two characters and mash them up, like Weapon H. I'll mash up
Asterix and Matter-Eater Lad to create: Ass-Eater Lad!
Which is awful, but I wanted to Venomize Matter-Eater Lad to get Venomnomnom, but I googled it and
it's already a t-shirt!

A few weeks ago I went to the dermatologist because I started noticing some white spots
on my hands and elbows.
I'm a pretty healthy person, who doesn't get sick very often so I immediately assumed
I was getting some horrible fungus from the desk at work which doesn't get cleaned properly.
After less than thirty seconds the doctor declared I have Vitiligo, prescribed some
creams and said there's not much I can do about it, that it's a genetic thing.
Not being particularly excited about looking like a Dalmatian I began to do some research
which suggests our medical professionals have very little idea as to what the route cause is.
They think external factors as well as genetics cause changes in the immune system and viola,
Vitiligo.
Vitiligo affects just 1% of the population and can be very prominent, or just
affect certain parts of the body.
Besides removing pigmentation from your skin and even your hair and the mental health effects
of that there are no other side effects.
It's not contagious, and there are no treatments proven to remove it completely.
Doctors just like to throw drugs at it and see what sticks.

Interestingly this is the same problem Michael Jackson was proven to have, and more recently
Jon Hamm.
I'm going to look into the thing I think is responsible for most of our sicknesses
today, diet.
Time to eat a lot more vegetables and a little less meat.
I'm South African so giving up my meat could be really traumatic and stress me out which
would make my Vitiligo even worse so baby steps.

meanwhile Bobby rebuilds ax cap taking new security measures to protect himself
and the company from any further damages
but he still has to make money and in the process a new star
rises in the form of them aka Taylor Mason
And let's not forget about Wendy
Rhodes who newly separated from Chuck and axe opens up her own office while
also taking some freelance gigs from axes opposition despite this Bobby still
tries to win her back but only ends up doing so at the benefit

Tips & Tricks, in which I will talk about different 3D secrets.
Russian-speaking subscribers know that I have a second channel with answers to questions without editing.
So - I decided to do the editing and upload them in this topic.
Today we will speak about Corona Renderer, as well as cool materials - Hair and Skin,
Which appeared in Corona Renderer 1.7.
Let's Go!
First - I'll show the Corona Hair settings and settings of the scene, and then on the example of my
version of Digital Emily - will talk about Corona Skin.
In fact, everything is very simple.
You shouldn't have no difficulties in creating the hair and skin shader.
Today I will show how simplified everything is.
As Adam Hotovy said at the recent CGEvent conference - Corona Renderer create for the artists,
who like to spend more time for creativity,
rather than finding the coveted ideal settings.
Therefore, you don't need to look for them on the forum - because everything is so simple,
that you practically shouldn't to think.
If you go to the render settings - then you shouldn't change anything there.
This is the ideology of the Corona Renderer.
Everything works fine by default .
The only time when something should to be changed is the desire to get a preview sooner.
For this you can put Noise limit = 10.
For the final quality - you can Reduce this value to 5.
And for example - use Denoiser.
But if suddenly, you don't like how looks work with him -
it is soapy and small details aren't visible.
And you want to remove the noise.
Then you can reduce this value to 3 or 2.
It's all about settings.
Now let's talk about the hair shader.
I specially created several materials in advance to tell about the settings on their example.
Launch Corona Interactive to see the changes and start with black hair.
As I said, Corona shaders are intuitive, unlike other renderers.
Therefore, having looked at this lesson -
You will immediately learn how to create variegated hair color.
So, to get such a shade of this hair -
First, you should change the value of Melanin and put it equal to one.
Level = 0 - if you want to get a pure black shade without any tinting.
Then, Random Melanin = 0.2 - to add a bit of variety
in a shade of each hair.
After all, so the hair looks much more realistic.
Again - you can experiment with this parameter.
For example, if you put it equal to 1 and increase the Level - then you will get such an interesting shade.
Also, I change the value of glossiness and softness.
Glossy is responsible for the blur of the glare, a softness for the anisotropic effect.
Changing this parameter in conjunction with glossy - makes the hair more silky.
or vice versa dirty.
Experimentally I determined that the value of glossy = 0.5
the most ideal option for ordinary hair.
If you have dirty hair or fur - then you can use the value = 0.2 .
In this case - the flare will immediately become not clear
and the hair will be more dull.
If, you will need wet or gel hair -
set the value of glossy greater than 0.5.
So, now let's talk about brunettes.
I made the two types of shaders - the first one more matte, and the second is more silky.
In the first variant - Melanin = 0,8, Pheomelanin = 0,2 to add a rusty hue.
Random Melanin and Glossiness = 0.3
For brunettes with softer Hair - Softness and Glossiness = 0,7
Melanin = 0.5, Pheomelanin = 0 and Random Melanin = 0.1
This is just the shader that I used for my version of Emily.

So, to get hair like this blue shade - you need
Melanin = 0, Random Melanin = 0.5. Then we change Tint and Transmission Tint to such shades.
If desired - you can also copy Tint to Diffuse slot and then you will get more colored hair.
To get such a natural blonde shader - you need
leave Tint, Transmission Tint and Diffuse by default.
Melanin = 0.2
Pheomelanin = 0.5
Random Melanin = 0.1
But, if you suddenly want to do The highlight - Random Melanin = 1.
Glossiness = 0.3 to make the hair more matte and Softness = 1
For a dyed blonde - in diffuse, tint and transmission tint - you should add such shades.
Pheomelanin = 0.
And Random Melanin and Glossiness set to 0.5
By the way, with such settings - very easy to dye your hair in a different color.
It is enough to change the diffuse hue - for example, to such a green one.
To get gray hair - Melanin = 0, Glossiness = 0.3 and Random Melanin = 0.2
If, you want to make melted gray hair, then Random Melanin = 1
To make red hair - first Change Diffuse and Tint to such shades.
Melanin = 0.64, Pheomelanin = 1 to make more natural red color.
If you set it equal to zero, then there will be an entirely different dim color.
Having received a red tint - you will have a very easy way to make orange hair.
It is enough to change the colors of Tint and Diffuse to such this colors.
That's all I wanted to tell about the shades of the same color.
Now let's talk about the gradient and task - with which you may encounter.
To get such a complex shade with overflows - you need to add
Gradient Ramp map with such colors.
And, it is important to consider one rule.
The coordinates must be WU, not UV - if you want to get
a smooth transition of color from the crown to the tips, and not a random color on each hair.
Load this map into Tint, Transmission Tint and Diffuse slots.
To get another interesting effect, you can remove the gradient from Transmission Tint
and then another result will be obtained.
But of course I like the previous version.
It is more realistic - if you will check the photo reference.
Therefore - I always load the Gradient Ramp in those slots that showed.
That's all I wanted to tell about hair shader in Corona Renderer.
Let's sum up.
For a physically correct result, Tint. Transmission Tint and all parameters
we leave by default.
If we want to add reds -
we use Pheomelanin, and by changing the Melanin parameter we get different shades.
Zero is white, one is black.
If we want pure black - decrease Level to 0.
Two Glossiness parameters affect degree of glossy blur.
Their decreasing - makes the hair more matte.
Increasing - wet, gloss, silky - as in Garnier advertising .
Soft hair is controlled by Softness.
And with Glint parameter - add random spangles on different hairs.
Let's create another shade from scratch so you can see the simplicity of this shader.
As I said - you can make the hair with only by changing the Melanin value
and receive a physically correct result.
Now let's make a pink hair.
For this change Melanin equal to zero, change Tint color to this shade...
And copy it into diffuse slot and making it a bit darker ...
and upload it in the Transmission Tint slot.
Now with changing the values of Melanin, you can get different shades of pink.
As you can see, everything is very simple.
And now let's talk about the skin shader.
