Get Unready With Me | Beauty With Mi | Refinery29 - Duration: 7:46.

Hey guys, this is Mi-Anne and welcome to my sweet digs.

Just kidding!

It's Beauty With Mi.

If you guys have been watching my show for a while, which I sincerely hope you are/ if

you're not subscribed, please hit the subscribe button down below so we can hang out every

Monday.

This is a bit of a different episode for Beauty with Mi.

I typically tend to show you guys new products or things that I'm trying for the first

time and I don't usually venture into the realm of what I'm currently loving.

But I thought it might be fun to show you guys what I use at night in a sort of get

unready with Mi — with an i — fashion.

So without further ado I'm gonna stop rambling and let's get into it.

So the first thing I do when I get home from work is take off my coat and my shoes.

At this point it's usually around 7pm and I'm starving.

So I'm making a chili that I have never made before.

We'll see how it goes.

Bootsie's here too.

Hi!

Are you gonna help me cook?

I missed you.

She wants to get put down.

Tonight I decide to make a veggie chili, which is adapted from a recipe from

this blog.

It's a really simple recipe.

It just involves onions, sweet potatoes, black beans, diced tomatoes, spices and then

some quinoa just to make it a little heartier.

And I also had a bunch of quinoa that I wanted to use up, so.

I like chili cause you can kind of just throw a bunch of stuff into it.

Once the chili is simmering on the stove, it takes about 50 minutes to cook so I usually

head into the bathroom and take off my makeup.

I don't know about you guys but taking off my makeup is one of my favorite parts of the

night.

I hate having makeup on all day and it's oily and I just need a clean slate.

It's kind of like taking off your bra, taking off your makeup, getting into comfy pants.

Those are the three.

Or being naked.

Whatever floats your boat.

I get into the bathroom and I will use some kind of cleansing oil or cream to remove my

makeup.

I wear waterproof mascara every single day so I need stuff that will cut through waterproof

mascara fast.

So I'm currently using this cleansing cream from Dermablend.

I typically use cleansing oils, I find that oil cuts through waterproof makeup the best.

I was pretty skeptical that a cream would work as fast as an oil but this does.

It cuts through makeup really well.

It does sting a little bit if you get it in your eyes so be sure to be aware of that.

Then to wash off all the residue from my makeup remover I usually double cleanse.

And I'm using this Kat Rudu Coco Honey Papaya Enzyme Cleanser, which if you guys have seen

my "Favorite Products from 2017" video, you know that I love it.

It's so good.

It smells like honey, like candied fruits.

It is very gentle even though it does have these enzymes that give a little bit of exfoliation.

But it doesn't leave my skin feeling tight.

It gets off the cleanser really effectively.

I use it morning and night.

It is so good.

Once my skin is clean, if I'm feeling it — if I'm not too lazy — I'll throw

on a mask.

So today I'm using this one by The Ordinary.

It is the AHA BHA peeling solution.

I really like this brand.

They're very affordable.

They have great stuff.

This is a ten minute peel.

It looks like this.

Kinda looks like blood.

And you just put it on your face and let it chemically exfoliate the dead skin for about

ten minutes.

So during that time, I dedicate to cat stuff.

So if you guys have seen my videos before you know that I have a cat.

Her name is Bootsie.

She's a Tuxedo and she's so cute and I'm obsessed with her.

In the ten minutes that my mask is drying I will usually feed her

and then I will scoop her poops.

It's time.

She likes to watch me while I scoop her poops just to make sure I'm doing it right.

Then after I'm done with that, I wash my hands thoroughly.

Alright!

So I'm going to hop in the shower now, but as you can see, my shower curtain is completely

clear.

So I'm going to have to ask you to leave while I take a shower and I will see you guys

when I'm all clean.

Bye!

When I'm out I run to my room, change into my pajamas and start my skincare routine.

So my nighttime skincare routine isn't super involved.

It's really just three products.

A toner, a serum, and a moisturizer.

Starting off with the toner, this is the Pixi Rose Tonic.

I love Pixi Glow Tonic.

Pixi Glow Tonic is their original toner.

It's an exfoliating toner.

It has glycolic acid in it.

But they came out with this version, the rose version, that's more hydrating.

It has rose and elderflower in it.

And I'm really enjoying it, especially in the winter when my skin needs a little bit

more moisture.

This toner is really nice as a post-cleansing step.

It also smells like roses and I love roses.

Then I move on to my serum and I love this serum.

It's a Renée Rouleau Pore + Wrinkle Perfecting Serum.

I actually got a facial with Renée back in December.

It was so amazing.

This serum is really great because it targets breakouts and it's kind of the anti-aging

serum.

So it has lactic acid, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, niacinamide, and alantoíne in it.

Ever since I've been using this serum, my skin has been really clear, my pores have

been smaller.

I just think my skin drinks it up and I'm actually nearing the end of it and it's

making me really sad.

So as the final step in my nighttime skincare routine, I'll use a facial oil.

I really like facial oils, especially for nighttime.

I find that they're very hydrating, they keep my skin from getting flaky.

Ever since I started switching to using facial oils, I haven't had that winter skin flakiness.

So it's been two years and I haven't had a crazy flake patch, so…

I guess it's working.

I'm using this one from Pete Rivko, it's called the Balancing Facial Oil.

It's really nice.

It's very simple.

There's no added fragrance.

It has avocado oil, jojoba oil, prickly pear oil, and vitamin E in it.

It absorbs quickly, it doesn't get on my sheets, it doesn't make my face feel overly

oily.

Once my facial oil is on my face, I like to use this Jade Gua Sha tool that I actually

got and learned how to use from Sandra Lanshin, who is the founder of this wellness center

called Treatment by Lanshin.

I got facial acupuncture and Gua Sha from her.

She taught me how to use this Gua Sha tool basically to massage the product into your

skin that improves circulation, drain a little bit of lymph.

I really like it.

I gotta say, I don't always remember to use it, but when I do, I do find the inflammation

is down on my skin.

It's really great if you've had one too many drinks or if you're kind of lacking

on sleep.

It makes putting on your skincare a little bit more fun.

So once my skincare is done, at that point my chili is probably done.

And I come out to my living room

to sit in front of the TV while I eat.

I'm currently binge watching Netflix's Jessica Jones.

Very good show.

Highly recommend.

After watching two, or three, or four episodes, I will retire to Bootsie and give her a little

play sesh.

So I like to carve out at least ten to fifteen minutes a day dedicated to playing with her.

I'll play with her little mouse,

or I'll dangle her little toy for her, just to get her excited and get her a little tired

before bed.

Then I get in bed, and then I'll scroll on my phone

either on Instagram or Pinterest until I get tired and go to sleep.

So I hope that you enjoyed it.

Let me know if there's anything that you think I should try.

Skincare, mask-wise.

Shows I should watch.

Always looking for new stuff.

Let me know in the comments and I will catch you guys next week.

Bye!

Thanks so much for watching, guys.

Behind The Scenes At March For Our Lives - Duration: 2:24.

It's been kind of a rollercoaster.

I guess I would say,

a lot of grief, a lot of sadness.

And then a lot of sublimating that

into something productive

Young feel from all over the world

are marching today

There are students from all over the country

are demanding action for their schools,

and people are listening

for the first time in a long time.

All this came together to show that,

you know, we know what

we're talking about, and we're aware

of what's going on in the world

And we know that we can make a change.

This is a show of community and unity

that we're together under a single cause,

and that this many people are unhappy.

And if this many people aren't happy

then something's wrong.

We're here at the March For Our Lives

In the aftermath of the Parkland School shooting,

we wanted to come here

and see what protesters had to say.

What do we want?

Gun control

When do we want it?

Now!

What do we want?

Gun control...

I'm here to perform my song,

"Peace Love & Unity", and really speak to

the people, and support a great cause,

you know, be a part of the voice.

We're here today just because

this really could have happened

to any one of us,

and it's kind of a really scary reality.

And I think we're all tired

of just seeing politicians not

making real change.

I think today is a really important

moment for students to know

that they're not alone.

That all over this country

there's people standing beside them.

They have adult allies, they have student allies.

Gemma, why are you marching today?

They're asking the question,

"how many more innocent lives

need to be lost before

people will realize that weapons of war

have no place in our society?"

I think that coming here and supporting

this is really important

because us kids need to show that

we're the ones who are affected by this

and we're the ones who need to take charge.

It's so cool that everyone's here,

especially young people our age,

who maybe couldn't

have had a voice before,

but now, are showing

that they do have a voice

and we can use it.

My dream for this,

in the next upcoming year,

is that it sticks and that people

continue to talk about it every day

until meaningful change happens.

This is just the beginning, you know,

this people are saying

that March is the peak

and then it's all downhill from here.

Oh no! This is,

this is like a foot up a giant mountain,

so, it's gonna be a very long process,

and there's time to jump in

if people want to make a change.

When God Closes a Door - Inspirational & Motivational Video - Duration: 6:52.

In the walk of faith, there is a sound that is

Impossible for us to get used to

It often comes abruptly and it always

happens

Surprisingly, it's inaudible, but it is powerful

And most of us can name specific

Places and times in our lives when we heard that sound and I'm referring to the sound

That occurs when God closes a door

The thing that makes it so difficult is that we usually

misinterpret that sound it often comes on the heels of

strong commitment to obedience

being filled with the spirit

Going through a season of Prayer often over weeks of time

followed by hard work diligent effort

the counsel of others

and then slam that door shuts

And to make it even more difficult is

The following the closing of the door there is silence

deafening silence God's silence

Where are you God?

Times like that we are

Humbly reminded that he is the potter and we are the clay

He is the master. We are the servant

We say we willingly bow before him that he is our God and He is our

guide o great Jehovah

Just a pilgrim in a barren land and

And I'm moving toward the goal of

honoring you and serving you and

now this

To make it even more difficult God does not tell us why

certainly not

then

God rarely if ever explains why

One thing is for sure when that door closes. We do not think at that moment. This is going to lead me to something better

The Scottish Essayist Thomas Carlyle 19th century writer

Essayist historian put it this way

When the oak tree is felled the whole forest echoes with it

But a hundred acorns are planted silently by some unnoticed breeze

When the door slams on our face we don't think that poetically

All we can hear is the falling of our oak

And the thud as it hits the forest

Destroying our dream our hope our anticipation we don't think at that moment that there are some acorns being

Whisked away and blown to a place that will grow and bear fruit for God's glory through an open door

At a time like this when the door closes and some of you have had one close recently

That's when great theology needs to kick in and two great truths come to our rescue

The first truth is that God is sovereign

Daniel 4:35 all the inhabitants of the earth are is nothing

And He does according to his will in the army of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth and no one can ward off his

Hand or say to him. What are you doing?

The psalmist put it this way in 115:3 our God is in the heavens he does whatever he pleases

Sort of point-blank in your face. I'm in charge

The other great truth is that God's plan is profound

And often to us very strange

Revelation

3:7 tells us he is the one who opens and no one closes he closes and no one opens

And there's no explanation

following that statement

You feel like a failure you feel like you

Were poor in planning you weren't sensitive to the Holy Spirit none of the above is true. God closed the door

But we're not ready to understand closed doors. We like open doors

Especially when we're not told why they closed. Remember God is sovereign and God's plan is profound and

Often so strange

Get on past the closed doors

There's something great to be reaped

by going

to the open ones

Since God is sovereign

He is in

full control on both sides of any door

Being in full control God takes full responsibility for the results

The closing of a good opportunity

Occurs in order to lead us to an even better one. Not until you walk through the open door and look back

You realize the necessity of the other doors being closed

I have no idea what closed doors

You are living with

For all I know you are going through self-loathing and blame or even worse you may be blaming someone else because a door closed

Because I don't know which one to speak to directly I speak to all of you and say

Let it be

Let the oak fall

Let the acorns scatter

God moves in mysterious ways his wonders to perform

He plants his footstep on the sea and rides upon the storm

Deep and unfathomable minds of never failing

Skill he treasures up his bright design and works his sovereign

will

Let it be

Let it be

Let's Play Blade Runner - V/K Sessions - Emil Runciter - Duration: 10:15.

Voigt-Kampff Sessions Emil Runciter

There's a test I'd like you to take.

No, I have a lot of cleaning up to do.

It won't take too long.

Reaction time is a factor in this, so please pay attention. Where do you live?

Uptown. Your office already has my address.

- What do you do for a living? - I trade in hard to find animals.

- What's your name? - Emil Runciter.

A man dressed in rags approaches you on the street and asks for money.

I'd avoid him.

You're crying. Why is that?

Because... all my animals...

Out of the corner of your eye, you see a large black spider crawling up the wall.

I'd capture it. Spiders have risen in value every year for the last--

You're supposed to call animal services, if you find a wild animal.

Oh, I'd do that first.

- Are you taking any drugs? - No.

For your anniversary, your spouse gives you a real goldfish.

I'd check Sidney's for the resale value.

Goldfish depreciate quickly.

I wouldn't know.

You return from work to find that your home has been burglarized.

Detective, I think you know I've just been through far worse than that.

When did you stop beating your spouse?

That's a tired old joke, detective. Besides, I'm not married.

Using the first words that come into your mind, describe your childhood.

Lonely. Difficult.

You notice someone attractive across the room.

I'd ask her out of course.

You're having a very erotic dream.

And your point is?

Just say the first thing that pops into your head.

My dreams are my own.

You're suddenly very afraid. Why?

Perhaps I'm being threatened by a rogue policeman.

I'm not threatening you.

Stop playing games. You want something or you wouldn't be administering the test.

I'm not a Replicant for heaven's sakes.

We'll let the machine decide that.

Your best friend has done something to make you angry.

I'd try to forgive him.

It's the first day of school and the teacher calls on you.

And?

How do you feel about that?

I'd probably know the answer.

Why would I feel anything?

It's ok. I got what I need.

- How old are you? - Fifty three.

Describe in single words, only the good things that come into your mind about your mother.

Gentle.

Loving.

Comforting.

Your child comes home with a black eye.

Childhood is full of harsh lessons.

You suddenly feel the urge to commit suicide.

We all feel that way sometimes.

It will pass.

A teacher calls you stupid in front of the rest of the class.

No doubt I made a mistake.

What's the most embarrassing thing that ever happened to you?

I... I'm not answering that.

You're seven years old. You've managed to steal several marshmallows from the kitchen...

and sneak them back to your bedroom. You're caught and your father spanks you.

I wouldn't let him touch me.

You've been drafted into the army.

Adversity builds character.

Let me finish.

During a boot-camp hazing you're bound, blindfolded and forced to eat worms.

Oh, I see. The worms make it different, don't they?

I'd have to report the perpetrators...?

You're having dinner at a friend's home.

Halfway through the appetizer, he tells you that you've been eating goose liver pâté.

A shameful waste. I'd report him.

You're visiting the dentist.

At the receptionist's desk is a huge bowl of fresh cut flowers.

I'd find another dentist.

You see a documentary about 20th century tuna boats.

At the end, you feel like taking up fishing.

Don't be ridiculous, they don't show such garbage on television.

- You pour yourself a drink. - Sometimes.

Every time you finish one, you have another until you vomit.

You wake up hungover and depressed.

We all have things we'd like to forget and nights when the forgetting takes its toll.

You're giving a speech to a crowd of hundreds. First, one person starts to laugh.

Why would...?

He leans over and says something to the people around him.

Soon, the whole audience is roaring with laughter and pointing at you.

I'd leave. I don't deserve to be ridiculed.

You're watching TV.

Suddenly, you notice a wasp crawling on your wrist.

Wasps are...uh, very valuable indeed.

Quite beautiful.

In a magazine, you come across a full page photo of a nude girl.

I don't read filthy magazines.

I haven't finished the question.

Don't bother.

You're given a calf-skin wallet for your birthday.

I'd report the manufacturer.

You have a little boy.

He shows you his butterfly collection plus the killing jar.

A child needs discipline.

Severe discipline.

You're at a restaurant with friends. One of them orders lobster.

The chef drops the lobster into the tub of boiling water, while you watch.

That's insane.

They used to do it all the time.

Do you have any idea what lobsters are worth these days?

You rent a mountain cabin.

On a wall, someone has hung old maps and Currier & Ives prints.

A deer's head is mounted above the fireplace. A full stag with developed horns.

What do you expect me to say?

You don't have to say anything. The Voigt-Kampff measures--

I understand how it works.

You see an oversized book with pictures of exotic animals on the cover.

The title is: "Big-Game Hunting in Zaire". Curious you flip it open.

There's a picture of a man standing with his foot on a dead, Cape buffalo.

This test was written by a psychopath.

You find yourself fascinated.

You keep paging through it, seeing picture after picture of animals laid to waste.

Each more gruesome than the last.

You don't have anything to say?

What's the point?

You've been kidnapped.

Your captors tell you that you'd better think about what you did to deserve this.

That's not right. I didn't do anything.

What do you think it's like to be a Replicant?

How would I know?

How do you think it would feel to be hunted all the time?

They're just machines.

So you don't have any sympathy for them?

I suppose it might be... bad.

You're going to die. It maybe soon. Death, the grave, rot.

It may be soon.

The readouts don't lie. You're scared. Don't worry, I won't tell anyone.

That's pathetic.

You're pathetic!

Hey, I just read them.

You're in a desert, walking along in the sand,

when all of a sudden you look down and see a tortoise.

It's crawling towards you. You reach down and flip the tortoise on its back.

I wouldn't do that. It might injure the animal.

The tortoise lays on its back, its belly baking in the hot sun.

Beating its legs, trying to turn itself over. But it can't.

Not without your help.

But you're not helping. Why is that?

You're disgusting.

Hey, I didn't--

I've always loved animals, since I was a boy.

No one is saying otherwise. The test is supposed to provoke a reaction.

Can you even begin to understand what it's like to lose everything you've ever loved?

All at once?

Must be rough.

Get out of here!

You're watching an old movie.

It shows a banquet in progress. The guests are enjoying raw oysters.

The entrée consists of boiled dog.

I'd turn it off.

You're on a farm.

You get into the pen to feed the pigs.

In their excitement, the animals knock you down into the mud.

Using a butcher knife, you slit the throat of the nearest sow.

You're covered in blood as you stumble to your feet.

I could never...

Who could?

No one I know.

Like my briefcase?

It's very nice.

Department issue. Baby hide.

100% genuine human baby hide.

You're a sick man.

Yeah. But doctors make me jumpy so sick I stay.

You're ready for the next one?

Let's get this over with.

Positive result.

Subject is human.

Test terminated.

Reddit/Citibank Don't Like Freedom, Double-Mag PCC Lower and 2 New AR10's - TGC News! - Duration: 9:20.

This week on TGC News, Reddit and Citibank join the anti-freedom crowd,

a double mag PCC lower and 2 new long range rifles!

Welcome back everyone, my name is Jon Patton and you are watching TGC News.

First things first, We just hit 125,000 subscribers on YouTube!

That's absolutely astonishing and I seriously thank you guys for trusting us as the source

for gun related news.

Also, quick shoutout and thanks to those that jumped over and supported us on Patreon over

the last week.

That does not go unnoticed.

Now, the news.

9mm carbines are all the rage right now.

Between 6.5 Creedmoor and Pistol Caliber Carbines, I don't know who would win the popularity

contest.

It's not surprise then that more and more companies are focusing on PCC parts.

Enter a company called Foxtrot Mike Products.

This is their new RTC or ready to customize lower for 9mm carbines.

And it has a few interesting features.

First up, it is made, mostly, of polymer.

I know a bunch of you just scoffed because Polymer rifle lowers are a problem for some.

Well they've thought of that and utilized an aluminum rear insert that is molded into

the lower.

The entire buffer tube loop and below into the safety selector area contains that insert.

This tackles the issue that concerns folks of the buffer tube impacting something and

snapping off of the receiver.

Beyond that and the overall look of the lower, there are a couple other things that stand

out.

The grip, for one, is actually designed like the grip of your normal pistol to accept an

extra magazine.

It has a normal button release and all.

I'm not sure it would be the fastest way to reload because you're kind of combining pistol

and rifle mechanics BUT it's still pretty cool.

And last but not least, its ambidextrous except for the bolt catch.

Pretty cool.

All for the price of 149 bucks.

What do you guys think of this?

Would you buy this over any of the other options out there like New Frontier Armory, Angstadt

or Quarter Circle 10?

Would you get this FM over those?

And in gundustry strugglebus news, not only are we all being threatened by looming gun

control measures and a congress that just passed Fix NICS, but we also are now dealing

with corporate america and their undereducated nonsense.

On March 22nd, Citibank announced that they will be placing their own restrictions on

their retail customers regarding firearms.

The new policy says that business are fine as long as (1) they don't sell firearms to

someone who hasn't passed a background check, (2) they restrict the sale of firearms for

individuals under 21 years of age, and (3) they don't sell bump stocks or high-capacity

magazines.

And unlike the Youtube nonsense, this version of high-capacity magazines remains undefined.

So now we are seeing the people that control the funding implementing their own firearms

discrimination and restrictions to circumvent the law.

Needless to say, I hope this plague does not continue to spread.

At the same time though, this would be an opportunity for a bank to assert themselves

as open to doing business with anyone and soak up the dollars from the gun industry.

On top of that, Reddit recently shut down a few subreddits such as r/gundeals and r/Brassswap

due to some new policies on the site.

Essentially the policy says that you can not solicit or facilitate the sale of firearms

or ammunition among other things like stolen goods, drugs, prostitution, personal information,

and falsified documents.

Yes that's right, guns are being lumped in with illegal activity in this new Reddit policy.

I understand the fact that they don't want people to be using the site for illegal activity

but guns and ammo are totally legal to possess, so why lump that in with all this illegal

stuff?

For those of you that are unaware, Reddit is one of the largest aggregator sites on

the internet where you could essentially find anything.

The traffic generated from that site is staggering.

And now you can't even so much as mention a place to buy a gun without fear of getting

banned.

Law abiding citizens being silenced, yet again my friends.

In AR10 news, a company called Doublestar has expanded on their lineup of Star 10-B

rifles with the addition of 2 new cartridges, the 6.5 Creedmoor AND the 260 Remington.

They're calling them the STAR10BX.

Breaking down the features on both rifles we've got a 22 inch stainless heavy barrel

with a 1 in 8 twist topped off with a big ol 3 chamber brake.

That is covered with a 15 inch Samson 308 Evolution handguard.

They both of course have the standard Star 10 receivers which includes that downward

slope to the magwell and grip portion on the front.

They also come standard with a CMC 3 and a half pound trigger, hogue grip, and an ACE

hammer stock.

All for the MSRP of 2549.

Don't get me wrong, I think this could be a very nice rifle, I don't know because I've

never had the chance to mess with a DoubleStar, but that price tag is almost as steep as that

weird magwell.

I want to know what you guys think, would you rather build your own AR10 OR would you

pony up and get one that comes from a reputable builder?

This time our Guntuber of the Week was actually picked by YOU GUYS!

I think it's high time that I let you guys decide who gets the title of Guntuber of the

week and I think Mozzberg, is going to lose his mind because he literally tells me to

shout out this guy every week.

Should I Quit My Job For Real Estate? - Duration: 6:25.

Alright, my friends, Kris Krohn here again

with Limitless wealth TV and today we're going to be talking about

real estate and weather you can actually

do it full time as a job , like can you make

enough money quitting your job and dive in

real estate and that answer is coming your way

next!

Can you quit your job to do real estate

full time , the answer my friends is "Yes!"

But I need to make sure you and I are on

the same sheet of music here because

I want to tell you that the last 15 years

my answer has always been "No"

because the only version of yes is you could become a realtor

but I want to make sure that if you go and spend the hours

the money and the time getting your realtor's license

that all you're doing is getting a job in real estate.

That's not investing, it could age you in investing

but all you're really doing is

getting that license so that you could go out there and represent other people

that are buying and selling homes. And

it is going to be a great education for you, it's going to be a great knowledge

but that's not really what I am talking about today.

It's not about being a realtor. I've been saying no for

15 years to being able to quit your job because the reality is

I buy a real estate, I buy a house

today and it's an exciting move but if it has a

$400 cash flow, can you retire on $400 a

month?

No, you need to augment your income with the job, right?

Oh hey! I bought you know 5 houses and I have

$2,000 a month.

Well some of you still might cover your bills but some of you

it's still might not cover your bills and what if real estate

has an unexpected expense.

Then that money might get soaked up

and move in that direction so I've been telling people for 15 years

that you really can't do real estate

and do it as a full time job. I actually have

my full time job

while I was building my portfolio for 4 years.

But I didn't know, what I know now.

You see what I know today is that real estate can be done as a

it can be done if want to be an investor

you can actually do it as a job and you can actually quit

your other job to make real estate what you want to do

and that's only possible because of innovation that I've had

you know being a leader in the real estate community

having done

all the real estate that I've done. Having the nearly billion dollars

with my of the companies hat I've originally

founded called "Done for you" real estate

having played in the market

for a long time , I've been able to build my own market now.

If you've been watching, I've been with YouTube now for years

I pump out now this daily videos.

I've been helping educate people all over the world

of how you do real estate successfully.

Also training and mindset a number of arenas.

Giving invitation to come live and be with me.

My most recent innovation that is here to

stay long term is called

my real wealth community and it's a program that I offer for all

the people that want to come and be a part of

my investment community. I got a private community where

I train and educate and teach people especially if you got no money and no

credit. I'm going to show you how to do real estate successfully.

Can help you partner with people but what that also means is

you can refer people to my private community

and I can send you either a one thousand , a three thousand,

or up to a then thousand dollar thank you check.

Every time you get someone enroll, so let me just pack that up

imagine the ultimate training system

on how to do real estate

regardless of your sex, age, race.

regardless if you have been in the workforce for 30 years

and have some money to show for or

that you're young and stupid like me and starting with nothing.

It doesn't matter who you are, we are not discriminating.

No matter who you are, you can join to become part of this community

and we're going to train you to be successful in real estate even tee up

the deals for the best hottest market in the nation.

So it's really like the ultimate system that no matter who you are financially, whether you got money or you don't

it's a place for to play, train

get educated and rock it out of real estate arena.

It's amazing. You can now actually

you pay a $50 sign up fee, that's it and

actually gives you the right to market that product to other people

and when you do, we're going to

we're going to pay you up to $10,000

when you help people join.

Now there's a certification process that you need to go through

but I'm going to actually supply paid

trainers. I'm actually going to pay out of my pocket

several thousand dollars to individuals

to work with you

and help you take the people you introduced and help them get involved.

So that when they do and you're certified,

I can then be sending you this $10,000 checks.

I'll tell you right now that we've got people that do that

my community leaders that I've

that I have supported me with this Gary and Caroline Norris.

They personally made me nearly a million dollars

working with me in our real estate systems in the past.

And I'm going to have them and the rest of our team mates jump in

and work with you hand by hand

and help you turn real estate. You know, Gary Norris, he doesn't have a job.

This is what he does and so

if you ever thought wow! I love real estate investing

but I really need to figure out how to jump in

and would be easiest if I could do it as my job

cause I could put more time and effort into it than this other one.

So if you really want to learn how to do that

then go ahead and click the link and sign up for the option to learn

more about our real wealth community.

and when you sign up for that

we're going to have someone on the phone and talking with you

one of my paid trainers that will

introduce you to someone on the team.

That will work with you and basically help you rock that

out. So friends,

if you really looking for way to do real estate full time,

we've created our own

mini market that works every where anywhere, inside the United States

currently, on how to do that. So come and

play. Click the link, get your hands on that option

and learn how you could start making real estate your full time job.

For me it comes down and give you every possible hook up that I

can. And I tell you right now, I"m after rocking

at the real estate world and I'm inviting you stand next to me

and to have us this invest together in this incredible world of real estate

understand that real estate, more than about

property is about people. And

that's with this community is about. It's about helping people get

where they want to go. And you know we've got thousands of people

that we've successfully helped invest in real estate

and you can now become a part of them. And now you can join a team where

you can also get paid to recommend othe r people. Do that

as your business as you are also building your real estate portfolio.

So click the website get more information on

what that looks like and we look it forward

at getting you my team back in touch with you.

Why isn't the world covered in poop? - Eleanor Slade and Paul Manning - Duration: 4:58.

Somewhere near you, an animal is defecating.

In fact, each day, the animal kingdom produces roughly enough dung

to match the volume of water pouring over the Victoria Falls.

So why isn't the planet covered in the stuff?

You can thank the humble dung beetle for eating up the excess.

Capable of burying 250 times their body weight in a single night,

these valiant insects make quick work of an endless stream of feces.

Over 7,000 known species of dung beetle run clean-up duty across six continents

—everywhere except Antarctica.

A dung beetle's first task is to locate dung.

Some live on the anal regions of larger animals,

ready to leap off when they defecate.

Others sniff out feces that animals leave behind.

A pile of elephant dung can attract 4,000 beetles in 15 minutes.

So once a beetle finds dung,

it must work quickly to secure some of the bounty for itself.

Most dung beetle species fall into one of three main groups:

rollers,

tunelers,

and dwellers.

Dung rollers sculpt a ball of dung, and using their back legs,

quickly roll it away from competitors.

Potential partners jump on the ball,

and once the ball-maker has selected their mate,

the pair dig their dung ball into the soil.

Once it's been buried, the female lays a single egg within the dung ball.

Tunnelers have a different approach.

Digging underneath a pat, some drag dung down into the soil

and pack it into clumps known as brood balls,

dung balls,

or dung "sausages," depending on their shape and size.

Male tunnelers sport a spectacular array of horns

to fight each other for control of these tunnels,

which they then defend until the female's laid her egg.

Some male tunnelers avoid the fray by masquerading as hornless females

and sneaking into tunnels to mate while the guardians' heads are turned.

The third group of dung beetles, dwellers,

take the most straightforward approach,

laying their eggs directly into a dung pat.

This makes their offspring more vulnerable to predation

than those of the tunnelers and rollers.

As the larvae feed, they riddle the dung pat with tunnels,

leaving remains that are quickly colonized by bacteria and fungi and weathered away.

Inside a tunnel, ball, or pat, once the larvae hatch,

they consume the dung before metamorphosing into a pupa

and then an adult beetle.

Besides clearing dung, the actions of these beetles

have considerable ecological importance.

For one, they serve as secondary seed dispersers.

Dung from monkeys,

wild pigs,

and other animals is riddled with seeds from the fruits they eat.

When beetles bury their dung balls,

they inadvertently protect these seeds from predators

and increase the likelihood they'll germinate.

The advantage is so great that one South African plant

has evolved to produce seeds that look and smell like dung

to trick beetles into burying them.

Dung beetles also play important roles in agricultural systems.

Livestock, like cows and sheep, produce huge amounts of dung,

which contains nutrients that can benefit plants.

The beetles break up the dung and tunnel it deep into the soil,

bringing the nutrients into close contact with plant roots.

Their services to farmers have been valued at $380 million a year in the US

and £367 million a year in the UK.

Dung beetles can even help us battle global warming

by reducing greenhouse gas emissions associated with farming.

Microbes living in oxygen-poor livestock dung

produce methane, a potent greenhouse gas.

But beetles oxygenate pats when they tunnel into them,

preventing the microbes from producing methane.

The dung beetle spreads seeds,

helps farmers,

and fights climate change

—and accomplishes it all simply by doing its business.

Maybe next time you come across some dung in the forest or a field,

you'll be tempted to take a closer look.

The 1940s Mermaid Show That's Still Pulling Crowds - Duration: 3:52.

This is not an artificial swimming pool,

and it's not filled with chlorinated, treated water.

This is a natural spring in Weeki Wachee, Florida.

And it's at the top of a massive system of caverns,

where the Weeki Wachee River surfaces.

Hundreds of millions of litres of water

forcing its way out the ground every day.

But while the spring might be natural,

what's going on under the surface definitely isn't.

It's created by humans, because for more than 70 years,

there's been a mermaid show here.

- Toughest part of the job, I definitely think, is training.

Took me about six months to swim my first show.

Once you get hired, you get scuba certified

and then you can start on the hose, which --

that's the process that takes the longest.

Learning how to breathe and be comfortable down there.

It takes a lot of breath control and building your lungs.

Teaching your lungs and stretching them and getting them used to holding the air.

The longest we hold our breath here is the Ferris wheel.

That's when we hold each other and we spin around.

The water is 74.2° year-round. It's very cold being in there.

- We have approximately 20-25 young women on staff

who perform as mermaids.

We also have about three or four gentlemen

that play the role of the prince in our version of The Little Mermaid.

- This place is the work of a man called Newt Perry,

world class swimmer and swimming coach,

former diver for the U.S. Navy, and consultant to Hollywood.

He looked at this spring and thought,

"I could put a show on in there".

The first theatre had 18 seats, but by the sixties,

the ABC television network had bought the place,

and built a theatre for 400. And it was selling out.

- Well, 117 million gallons of water

coming from a very tiny opening at the bottom of the spring on a daily basis

will provide a current, and it's about a 5mph current.

They're not swimming in a tank.

There's so many different species of wildlife that inhabit a Florida river, we get 'em all.

Turtles, otters, the manatees are always a favourite.

- The turtles love to get in the way,

and they'll follow your tail around.

We don't really have snakes come that often.

Every once in a while, blue moon.

And then sometimes we'll get alligators.

If they're in a range that's too close,

we'll get out of the water.

- In the 60s, Weeki Wachee was a spectacular, world-famous tourist attraction.

But by the 90s, the consensus was that is was a relic.

Dated and down on its luck, at least compared to the shiny new theme parks

that Disney and Universal were opening over in Orlando.

In 2003, the New York Times called this place "aging" and "faded".

But it turns out that once something gets old enough,

with the right marketing, "outdated" can become "retro". "Historic".

- Weeki Wachee Springs was a private company

all the way up until 2008, when the state of Florida,

in an effort to help save it, acquired the attraction.

And not only did they acquire it

for the natural resource that we have here, the spring,

the scrub habitat that surrounds the spring,

but also because of the cultural significance

of what the mermaids have meant to Florida tourism for seven decades now.

- Weeki Watchee is never going to be on same level as Walt Disney World.

It couldn't be.

But the same day I'm here, the Florida state tourist board have sent a crew to film.

The last audition call for mermaids here made the news around the world,

and the articles are sounding a lot more positive than they did 15 years ago.

In the 21st century, Weeki Wachee is becoming a bit of living history.

History that still has three shows a day.

- Being a mermaid is the best job anyone could ask for.

My favourite part of the job is dealing with the kids

and making a difference in the community.

We do a lot of dealing with Make-A-Wish programmes,

and these kids think that you're really a mermaid

and they think that everything you're doing is so magical.

Just making such a difference in their lives,

just by coming to work,

we're pretty lucky that we can do that.

- Thanks to all the team at Weeki Wachee Springs State Park.

You can find out more about them at the links in the description.

General Mattis: I'm not sure I can work with John Bolton!! - Duration: 2:38.

General Mattis: I'm not sure I can work with John Bolton!!

Defense Secretary James Mattis has told colleagues he's unsure if he can work with John Bolton,

President Trump's new pick for national security adviser, The New York Times reported.

Mattis reportedly told staffers he would find it difficult to work with Bolton prior to

Trump's announcement last Thursday that Bolton would replace H.R. McMaster.

Bolton is said to be an unpopular pick with both Mattis and White House chief of staff

John Kelly.

The president tweeted last Thursday evening that Bolton, the hawkish former George W.

Bush administration official, will take over for McMaster on April 9.

McMaster, an Army lieutenant general, will retire from the military, a White House official

said.

Bolton served as U.S. ambassador to the United Nations under the Bush administration, and

as undersecretary of State in the years leading up to the Iraq War, and had a focus on preventing

the spread of weapons of mass destruction.

Democrats have expressed concerns about Bolton and his past pro-war views.

Bolton will be Trump's third national security adviser.

His first, Michael Flynn, resigned last year and has since pleaded guilty in special counsel

Robert Mueller's investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election.

Washington is now consumed by a debate over whether Mr. Trump's new team plans to govern

as far to the right as it talks.

So far, the incoming national security adviser, John R. Bolton, has declared that his past

comments are "behind me."

Hours after his selection was announced, Mr. Bolton vowed that he would find ways to execute

the policies that Mr. Trump was elected on, but that he would not tolerate slow-walking

and leaks from bureaucrats he dismissed as "munchkins."

Some who know Mr. Bolton and his operating style predict titanic clashes.

Defense Secretary Jim Mattis, the retired general who has argued for keeping the Iran

deal intact and warned that military confrontation with North Korea would result in "the worst

kind of fighting in most people's lifetimes," told colleagues on Friday that he did not

know if he could work with Mr. Bolton.

The White House chief of staff, John F. Kelly, another retired four-star general, was also

unenthusiastic about Mr. Bolton's hiring.

ATHENS GREECE - ACROPOLIS TOUR AND VLOG - 2018 - Duration: 10:48.

welcome to Athens Greece this is known as one of the oldest cities in the world

and the cradle of Western civilization today we're gonna check out some of the

top archaeological sites including the Acropolis let's go check it out from the

airport it took us about 40 minutes to reach the center of the city to check

into our hotel so we are in Athens we just checked into the Stanley Hotel this

is and then now time to show you the view

alright guys so I am at a Stanley Hotel this is in Athens for these this is the

center of the city here right behind me is the Acropolis we're about to go there

right now let's go true we're in the Metro right

now and they have some artifacts with Acropolis in the metro station

we're getting ready to go to the these are some of the most expensive apartment

the Acropolis contains many buildings the first one that we saw on our way up

was the theater called odeon of herodes atticus the theater was first completed

in 160-180 and is still used to this day my

favorite word in any language is thank you and to say thank you in Greece it's

efcharistó the responses parakaló you're welcome. Acropolis - acropo means

top, polis main city so it's like a citadel as the translation

and back in the fifth century BC when the Acropolis was built it looked much

different it was painted and covered and it was dedicated to the patron deity

Athena goddess of wisdom the Persians originally coach to this site so we got

here at about 9:00 a.m. I recommend if you want to get here and avoid the tours

come here before that or late in the day

the Parthenon was cleverly constructed using the golden mean which is a

mathematical ratio found in nature designed to make things aesthetically

pleasing

so it's undergoing some renovation right now but ours I just said this is an

optical illusion so the lines here are curved curved and then the base is also

slightly curved to create the illusion of straight lines

the Parthenon was also the most decorated temple in the Greek world

we'll see the sculptures and freezes that were used inside this building

later in this video the space between the pillars is

different between each and I'm gonna gate one tour this tour was roughly

$8.99 and it included flights and a guided tour of

so this was built for the goddess Athena who is the patron of Athens

it's where the city got its name views from the top of the Acropolis are

stunning in fact the buildings and Athens are not allowed to surpass 12

floors so as not to block the view towards the Parthenon and since we're

here during low season we could film without the crowds behold

[music]

We're here in March, and the weather is very nice though it's about sixty degrees it can get up into the hundreds

though during summer and very crowded today these are considered like crowds

if you've seen the movie "300" it tells the story of how the Persians pillaged

this area and if you watch my Sicily video you'll see that with the Greeks

they traveled all the way to Sicily and they set up civilizations there as well

climb to get up here all the trees that lie in the entryway to the Acropolis and

they grow here naturally

now time to head to the adjacent Acropolis Museum which houses many of

the artifacts found in the Parthenon in contrast to the classical ruins this

building is done in a modern style and built atop of an archeological site this

museum was built atop of rinoa an ancient villa that had plumbing you see

the patient's never seen a museum like this this is a historical model of what

the Krampus look like at than 200 feet

this is demonstrating how they made the pillars they used a system of pulleys

and the early years they had a statue of the goddess Athena right there she was

built and gold the breed was his dad supported this one is gone at the

British Museum

the crevasse museum is done in stunning architecture the top level has a

see-through floor

you know

inside the Acropolis Museum you can see how the pediments of the Parthenon were

decorated with sculptures and freezes that ran around the temple so these

colors mimic the same distance of the pillars so these are the freezes that

were inside the Parthenon they're kind of like a comic book they tell the story

of the Greek goddesses stories of heroes before Christ Aphrodite pursuing a giant

Pericles and arrows overcome a giant Artemis driving the chariot to Apollo

Apollo attacks the giant many of the missing parts of this are found in the

British Museum something else that makes this new look is that it's not behind

glass you can get up close and almost touch the statues it's in the British

Museum some of them are missing it for good but basically this is what the

inside of the Parthenon was like if you guys are looking for a place to eat in

athens acropolis museum leads back to the fifth century

underground the museum if you liked this video be sure to hit that thumbs up

Module 6 Hospice Item Set: Section N, Medications - Duration: 9:48.

>> Female Speaker: Welcome to the Centers for Medicare

and Medicaid Services Module, Section N, Medications.

This module will introduce learners

to HIS Section N, Medications,

which includes items N0500, Scheduled Opioid,

N0510, PRN Opioid, and N0520, Bowel Regimen.

In this module, we are only going to focus

on discussing specifications for the individual measures.

Although items in this section

are also used to calculate the hospice composite measure,

we will not cover the details of that measure in this series.

For more information on the composite measure,

we recommend you review the Q.M. user's manual,

which can be found using the link on the resource slide.

This is the sixth of eight modules in the larger series,

HIS Coding Guidance.

The series, overall, is intended for users

who are familiar with HIS coding and submission guidelines.

For newer users,

we recommend starting with the HIS manual

and older trainings first.

These modules will not cover all items in all sections.

Learners may choose to listen to the entire series

or may choose to listen to one or two modules

that are of most interest to them,

meaning the modules in this series

can be watched independently

or as a group.

Included here on slide two is a list of acronyms

that will be used in this presentation

listed in alphabetical order.

After completion, learners will be able to identify the items

that compose Section N, Medications,

describe the intent of the measure,

and the corresponding quality measures.

The items in this section correspond to NQF

#1617, Patients Treated with an Opioid

Who are Given a Bowel Regimen and NQF

#3235, Hospice and Palliative Care Composite Process Measure,

Comprehensive Assessment and Admission.

Section N gathers information on opioids and bowel regimens.

The intent of the items in this section

and the associated quality measure

is about preventing opioid induced constipation,

not about whether opioids were initiated to treat symptoms

or whether a bowel regimen was initiated

to prevent non-opioid induced constipation.

The first item in this section is N0500,

which collects information on scheduled opioids.

Opioids are commonly used in the management of pain

and other symptoms.

N0500, Reports of Clinical Documentation,

supports that a scheduled opioid

was either initiated or continued

and if so, the date the order was received.

For purposes of HIS collection,

scheduled opioids can be initiated

or continued for any reason regardless of symptom,

not just pain.

Standing orders and comfort kit initiation is defined

as the date the order was received by the hospice

and there was documentation of instruction

to begin using the medication or treatment.

For orders continued from previous care settings,

you should complete N0500 based on scheduled opioids

for which the hospice has received orders.

The next item in Section N is N0510.

This item collects information on opioids as well,

but is exclusive to PRN opioids.

Now, let's look at coding tips for PRN opioids.

N0510 reports whether a PRN opioid

was either initiated or continued

and, if so, the date the order was received.

As with N0500, the PRN opioid can be initiated

for any reason regardless of symptom.

Standing orders and comfort kit initiation is defined

as the date the order was received by the hospice

and there was documentation of instruction

to begin using the medication or treatment.

For orders continued from previous care settings,

N0510 should be completed based on PRN opioids

for which the hospice has received orders.

Now that we have a general understanding

of the previous two items in Section N,

let's take a look at N0520, Bowel Regimen,

and see how the items all come together

and are ultimately used to calculate the patients

treated with an opioid

who are given a bowel regimen quality measure.

N0520 reports whether a bowel regimen

was initiated or continued

and the date of initiation or continuation.

You would only complete this item if N0500A

or N0510A equals one,

meaning the patient is on some type of opioid.

So, if the patient is not on an opioid, skip N0520,

regardless of whether they are on a bowel regimen or not.

At first, this skip pattern may seem strange,

but if we think about the intent of the items in this section,

it should make more sense.

Remember, this section is exclusive

to preventing opioid induced constipation.

So, if the patient is not on an opioid,

there is no need to report information

on their bowel regimen.

For non-pharmacological bowel regimens,

for example, prune juice,

report the date the hospice nurse or clinician

discussed the intervention with the patient or caregiver.

For standing orders and comfort kits,

initiation is defined

as the date the order was received by the hospice

and there was documentation of instruction

to begin using medication or treatment.

To reiterate what I mentioned earlier,

this item is a conditional item,

meaning you would complete only

if the patient is taking a scheduled,

or PRN, opioid.

It is important to remember that per the HIS instruction,

if the patient is not on an opioid,

skip this item even if the patient is on a bowel regimen

for non-opioid induced constipation.

NQF #1617 is a percentage of patient

stays treated with opioids

that are offered or prescribed a bowel regimen

or there is documentation of why this was not needed.

While the HIS asks about scheduled and PRN opioids,

the quality measure includes only patients

on scheduled opioids.

As with a bowel regimen item itself,

this quality measure is also conditional.

This measure only applies to patients

who received a scheduled opioid.

If the patient is not on a scheduled opioid,

they are excluded from the denominator.

These patients are considered

neutral from a Q.M. calculation standpoint.

For patients not on a scheduled opioid,

whether you initiate a bowel regimen is irrelevant

for quality measure calculation purposes.

The initiation or lack thereof of a bowel regimen

can neither count for you

or against you for these excluded patients.

Again, we go back to the intent of this item and measure,

which is exclusively focused

on preventing opioid induced constipation.

If the patient is not on a scheduled opioid,

their bowel regimen status is irrelevant for this Q.M.,

even if you did start one for non-opioid induced constipation.

To meet the criteria for the numerator,

patients that are taking a scheduled opioid must be offered

and/or prescribed a bowel regimen

within one day of the scheduled opioid

being initiated or continued.

Or, there must be documentation as to why a bowel regimen

was not needed.

While this series overall is intended for users

who are familiar with HIS coding and submission guidelines,

information regarding the Hospice Quality

Reporting Program

can be found by clicking the hyperlink

on this resource slide.

This resource slide also contains hyperlinks to specifics

on the HIS hospice quality measures, the Q.M. users manual,

and the HIS manual V2 with the change table.

The Hospice Quality Help Desk is available to assist

with general questions

about the hospice quality reporting program.

This concludes the module Section N, Medications.

This module included information on the items

and quality measures in Section N,

including the PRN and scheduled opioid items

as well as the bowel regimen item.

This is the sixth of eight modules in this series,

Hospice Item Set Coding.

The other modules in this training series are listed here,

and we encourage you to view these training modules

as well to understand more about HIS coding

and learn how it may help you and your hospice.

Thank you for viewing this presentation.

The information presented was correct as of the date

it was recorded.

12 Reasons Why It's Great Being a Single Introvert - Duration: 4:35.

12 Reasons Why It's Great Being a Single Introvert

Single introverts really seem miserable combination especially for those who are more outgoing.

However, it is worth noting that being single introvert can be a great blessing.

It is very common for introverts to not be satisfied with their current relationship,

and that is because there are too many things that they think.

They worry too much about their feelings and what other feels, and it makes their relationship

rigid somehow.

It really requires special person who can accommodate the introvert.

After all, there are 12 reasons of being single introverts that they believe.

1.

You can spoil yourself

Being in a relationship means you have to make you and your partner happy.

It is sometimes too demanding and too exhausting for introverts.

They basically cannot do everything they like because others may think the otherwise.

That is why they really like it when they can spoil themselves by being single introverts.

2.

No distraction

People have goals, and so do the introverts.

However, the ones who become the greatest obstacles are usually our partners.

That is why introverts prefer to be single instead of being stuck in an unhealthy relationship.

As suggested, introverts cannot find their partner easily, and it is essential to realize

that their goals are achievable because of being single.

3.

Saving money

Money is indeed important for survival in current world.

However, that will be difficult if they live with partner.

The reason is simply because their expense must be shared for things like gift, travels,

accommodation, and many other things.

4.

No social pressure

Having no partner means there will be no pressure from the partner to be involved in any social

meeting.

This is beneficial for introverts because they do not have to pretend to be extrovert.

They also do not have to spend their energy for social interaction.

5.

No argument

Arguing with themselves is already complicated and exhausting.

If it is combined with arguments from a partner who's supposed to be supportive, it becomes

disastrous for the introverts.

That is why keeping being single is always the best.

6.

No need to compromise

Yes, since there is no one to fight against you, you do not have to compromise.

You only choose yourself, and that is always the best for you.

7.

No reminder that you are different

Being different is good.

However, it also makes you separated or isolated from the others.

It is somehow not really good thing to be different in terms of having shyness and other

introverted characteristics because it is deemed as defect.

8.

You do not have to tell the news

When you live in a relationship, you need to tell the others what you are doing and

where you are now.

Checking in like that is not really great because it exhausts you to send the updates

every time you are in new place.

9.

No guilt

If there is no relationship, you don't have to feel guilty for not being able to satisfy

your partner.

You also do not feel guilty of not getting attention or affection you demand.

10.

You become yourself

We all know that sometimes our life is affected by others.

That holds true especially if you have someone who has great impact on you.

That is, your partner.

Living with your romantic partner in a relationship is not ideal to shape the real you because

of intervention coming from your partner.

11.

You can experiment new things

Being single means you can do anything that you want even though it is weird.

Introverts definitely do not like when they are spotted in doing something unusual because

they will receive judgment.

Fortunately, that chance will be reduced if there is no one peeking you from nearby.

12.

You are healthier

Yes, you can be healthier because you do not have to spend your energy just for making

your partner happy.

However, it is worth noting that you only need partner that really understands you.

Until then, it is best to stay single.

Well, that's all about describing 12 Reasons why it's great being a Single Introvert.

Really cool information isn't it?

Weekly Entertainment Wrap Up #64 [CC] - Duration: 4:47.

Hi, YouTube, it's Kathy, and this is my Weekly Entertainment Wrap Up for March 18th to 24th.

This week I read 1 book, I watched 3 tv shows, I watched 1 movie, and I listened to 1 book.

So might be able to tell, based on my voice, that I am sick.

This is the most I have spoken out loud today, and it does not sound good.

First this week, I finished It Looks Like This by Rafi Mittlefehldt.

While I was staying in Florida, I was chatting with Sarah's roommate about books, and she

passed this book on to me knowing she was just never gonna get around to it.

She picked it up as one of those "blind date with a book" concepts, and I like that

this book has a cool history before magically being handed to me.

This book follows Mike, a 14 year old boy whose family recently moved due to his father's job.

He cares a lot for his younger sister, he goes to church because his dad insists, and

he keeps to himself mostly, even though he has a couple of friends.

He's never been taught to stand up for himself, so when he's bullied, he stays silent.

And then he meets a new boy in his French class, and you cannot help but wish them "bonne chance".

Unfortunately, this is a heartbreaker, and incredibly tragic, and some turns I did not

foresee, so I will not spoil them here.

If you read this, be forewarned that it will be upsetting, even if it ends with some hope

for the future.

This week, the Tuesday night dinner club caught up again on Riverdale, where the students

got to see a movie I'm very excited to see later this week.

Chic continues to be creepy.

Cheryl is becoming a more complex character.

I'm only a little mad that we didn't get to see Archie and Jughead kiss.

We also watched another episode of Survivor season 1, in which someone didn't speak

up when asked and then was salty they didn't get to go on a reward.

On Survivor season 36 this week, an alliance of five stayed strong, which is surprising

because usually people are talking about backstabbing by now.

It is refreshing to see people actually sticking to the plan.

This week, I also finished the latter half of RuPaul's Drag Race season 9.

I like that this show keeps people on their toes in that the format for the final challenge

isn't set.

Doing a round robin of lip syncs to determine the final winner was a fun twist.

Although my favourite queen didn't take the crown, I'm not mad about how it played out.

The finale also made me wish I had outfits in my wardrobe that I could quick changed

with just a twirl and a pull of a knot.

This week, I watched Treasure Planet, because who doesn't want to see Joseph Gordon-Levitt

team up with David Hyde Pierce and pay Emma Thompson to take them on space adventures?

Although this is based on one of those classics that I've meant to read but haven't because

I don't read classics that often, there are so many adaptations that the plot isn't

foreign to me.

I really enjoyed the music, even the montage song with the lead singer from the Goo Goo

Dolls singing, although I would have liked more scenes of Jim and Silver bonding.

Delbert had some amazing lines, and I really enjoyed that we got references to Star Trek

and Jaws in this movie.

If, like me, you didn't see this when it came out, you are missing out.

This week I listened to The Stand by Stephen King.

Natasha, over at My Reading is Odd, decided to do this book as a readalong because she

is tackling all of Stephen King's works, and since I was able to snag it from the digital

collections of my library, I decided to tag along.

However, this hold came in on the exact same day as my last digital hold, and both of these

occurred right before I went on vacation, so it turns out that I had 9 days to finish

this book.

This recording is 48 hours long, including 400 pages the accounting department originally

made him cut.

So even listening to it at double speed, it was 24 hours of audio.

I usually limit myself to books of 16 hours a week.

Good thing I had time while flying home, and was constantly listening to it throughout the week.

Anyway, this is an apocalyptic novel with a vast ensemble cast where a superflu is accidentally

spread from a military compound, killing 99% of the population.

There's also a theological war waged between people who follow mother Abigail, a 108 year

old woman they all dreamed about, and those who follow Randall Flagg, a character I know

well from the Dark Tower series.

If you saw that terrible movie adaptation last year, you know the character I am talking

about, but you did not see a movie anything like the books.

I still have to pretend that "white kid finds magic in the world and goes on adventures"

piece of garbage doesn't exist or else I get very unpleasant.

This book is a collection of character studies amid a battle between good and evil, and I

highly suggest not trying to listen to all of it in one week, because I am sure there

are details I missed, and also, I might have slept through some of it because most of my

listening I was either on a plane or in bed, and that lends itself to falling asleep.

Perhaps I should see if I can track down the miniseries now that I've finished read the book.

If you've seen the mini series, can you let me know if it is one of the good adaptations,

or one of the bad adaptations?

That's it for this week.

If you've read, watched, or listened to any of these, please let me know about it

down in the comments below.

On the way down to the comments, if you could hit that Subscribe button, that would be very nice of you.

You can also like and share this as you see fit, and I will see you next time.

Bye!

How To Use Steroid Cream | How To Use Steroid Ointment | How To Use Steroid Cream For Eczema (2018) - Duration: 4:17.

Steroid creams in today's video I'm going to teach you what pharmacists learn

to help patients use them safely and to their full potential

please leave a comment at the end of the video if you found any of this information helpful

so topical steroids come in many different formulations like creams, ointments and gels

and different formulations are suitable for different areas of the skin

topical steroids are used in conditions like eczema and dermatitis

when the skin is red, itchy and sometimes blistered now in the medical world we call this inflamed

but before we learn how to use our topical steroid

it's really important to mention that topical steroids are usually used in addition to your emollient

so never stop using your emollient unless you're told otherwise and that's Nadia in the background

to demonstrate I'm using an emollient cream

so please don't get confused that this is how you're meant to use your emollients

because emollients should be applied liberally and frequently

so in this demonstration it's only to demonstrate how you use a steroid cream or ointment

use thinly now you'll see that on your pharmacy label or on the information leaflet with your topical steroid

but how little should you actually use?

well it's quite simple and we call it fingertip units

and that's the amount of topical steroid squeezed from a normal 5mm nozzle

from your first crease to the tip of your finger okay

and I like to do it this way, so from the bottom to the top

because then you can kind of twist off, close your lids and that's it, and that is a fingertip unit

now that we have our fingertip unit this should cover an area two adult palms with fingers together

so that's how much it should cover

each area that you'll be applying the topical steroid to

will have a recommended number of fingertip units

so for example if I was applying the topical steroid to my hand the front and back of it

the recommended number of fingertip units is one

but let's say you're applying a topical steroid to the entire arm and hand of an adult

now the recommended number of fingertip units for that is four

and to see a full list of all the areas of the body and the recommended number of fingertip units

I've left a great link in the description below which I highly recommend you read

fingertip units also apply for children however much less is required

because children are much smaller than adults and this information is also in the link provided in the description

always wash your hands before and after you apply a topical steroid

unless however the topical steroid is for your hand which then don't wash it after you've applied it

now let's move on to some quick and useful tips

tip 1 when applying creams or ointments always apply in the direction of hair growth

if you apply against it you're at risk of blocking your hair follicles and you may get an infection

tip 2 if you're using an emollient and a topical steroid first apply your emollient and wait about 15 minutes

so it can absorb and then apply your topical steroids

now I also made a video about paraffin based emollients and their fire risk a couple of months ago

and I'd highly advise everyone to watch it so I've left a link in the description below feel free to check it out

tip 3 which is the last tip short courses of topical steroids which are fewer than four weeks

are generally safe with very few problems

problems do start to develop though if you're using topical steroids for a long period

or you're repeating short courses of strong steroids

now I've left more information about this in the description below so feel free to read more about it

lastly always read the information leaflet that comes with your medicines

and if you have any questions ask your pharmacist, nurse practitioner or doctor about it

and that's it you're now a topical steroid pro!

let me know if you found any of my tips useful by leaving a comment below

which ones you maybe never knew about

and if you liked the video if you found it helpful then please hit that like button now

hey guys thanks for watching this week's video make sure to click that

like, follow or subscribe button now to stay up to date with new weekly videos

5mm nozzle from your first crease to the end of your thinger, thinger! (LAUGHTER)

before we learn the best way (DROPPING BOX SOUND) god these guys are so loud today

oh is that thumbs up? (LAUGHTER) thanks

then please hit that like button now leave it now (LAUGHTER)

3 Ways you can Help More People - Duration: 3:48.

Hi!

I'm Sharon Jurd and welcome to my Biz Blitz video and today I want to talk to you about

three ways you can help more people.

And ideally that's what we want to do, we want to help as many people as we can, right?

I'm going to share with you three of my tips around helping more people.

Firstly, you've got to stop working on an hourly rate because there are only so many

hours in a day and if you see one client for one hour, if you fit six or seven clients

in a day, if you're great, you can only help six or seven people.

If that's your business model, you need to change that.

You cannot just help six people a day if you want to help hundreds of thousands of people.

You need to find another way to help more people and I can help you with that as a coach.

Secondly, you need to talk to many and that's one of the things that you could change in

your business model.

You need to be conducting workshops, talking from stage, talking to groups of people, talking

to even three or four or five people at once around a boardroom is better than doing one-on-one

all day, every day.

The more people you talk to, then the more people will know what you're doing and you

can share your knowledge, your expertise and your experiences to a lot more people.

Tell people what you're doing – if you're coaching, if you're a speaker; you call

people and let them know what you're actually doing now.

If it's a change for you or maybe just remind them on what you're doing.

So you call your friends, your family, your strategic alliances, your colleagues, anyone

you know and let them know what you're doing and get them to spread the word for you as

well.

And thirdly, then help people more closely.

You can coach but that's not an hourly rate.

Design programs where you can help smaller amount of people so they can pay more money

rather than doing a session per day for six people and only being limited by the amount

that you can earn for the day and limited by the amount of people you can help during

that day.

So there are my three points.

Don't work on an hourly rate, get off that merry-go-round and change your business model.

Come and see me if you need to change your business model, reach out and contact me.

Secondly, talk to as many people as you can – family, friends, colleagues, audiences

– let them all know what you're doing.

And then thirdly, work more closely with people in a smaller setting of groups where you can

really roll your sleeves up, get to work and help them more massively.

That's my three points today.

I hope this has helped you.

If you think this video would be of value to your family, friends or colleagues, please

share my video.

Share, share, share, because I want to help as many people as I can and I need your help

to share this out to as many people as you can.

If we all work together, we'll all be helping loads and load of people.

I'm Sharon Jurd and I will talk to you very soon.

BEAUTIFUL crepe-paper flowers - Duration: 6:21.

Hello everyone, my name is Alina

Welcome to my channel

in this video I will show

how can you make flowers from crepe paper

we need 2 colors of crepe paper

all dimensions of blanks are indicated on the screen

leaves will be made of corrugated paper, as it is more dense

also need strips for taping and wire

I start with the middle of the flower

I cut the edges of the workpiece in thin strips

since it's crepe paper,

it turns out to be cut rather finely

further toniruyu using watercolors

I am typing claret color

and color the ends of the strips

then add a yellow color

I paint the paper only on one side,

since it is rather thin

you get such a workpiece,

But you can go and just make a middle of yellow paper

apply hot glue, glue the wire

twisting the workpiece

the middle of the flower is ready

I turn to the petals, fold the paper in half and

cut out the petal

the edge makes a little wavy

stretch the paper, be careful

because the paper is very easily torn

on one flower

need 15 pink blanks

from a white paper I cut out petals

just like the pink ones

white color will be almost invisible

since the paper is almost transparent

You can use one color

these petals need five pieces

I start to collect a flower, I glue the first row

consisting of 5 pink petals

the first row is ready, the flower already looks very

beautiful

glue the second row, which also consists of 5 petals

try to glue staggered

in the process of assembling give airiness to a flower

3 row consists of 5 white petals

because crepe paper is very thin

The base turns out neat and not bulky

the final row of 5 rose petals

bud is fully prepared

look at what a delicate flower turned out

then a strip of green paper, teipiruyu basis

I completely forgot in the video to show about sepals

be sure to add them to the flower

so it will look more realistic

leaves are made of corrugated paper

I cut the workpiece in half

apply hot glue and glue the wire

and close the second part

Cut out the shape of a sheet

around the edges I make small incisions

It remains only to close the wire with paper

for one flower I need 2 leaves

a strip of paper with glue, fix the leaves

to the flower

such light flowers perfectly complement any bouquet

and also create a spring mood

be sure to try yourself

but if the video was useful for you

then put like, write comments

until new meetings, all bye bye

see you in the new videos

DARLING in the FRANXX OP - "KISS OF DEATH" - Akano - Duration: 1:51.

Come over here beside me

My restraint crumbles

Don't fear me

A flightless bird dreamed of the sky

The colors mixing there are a different kind of red

I covered my ears to the sound of knocking on my door

Is that you knocking? Or is it some other?

Will your lips taste the kiss of death?

Darling, fate runs through my veins

As this world begins to move ...is it love?

I want to melt like no one has before, darling.

So don't fear me, just kiss me now!

Trading Card Game: What is Staple? [ ENG SUB ] - Duration: 1:35.

*Some comments asking for a Staple video*

Welcome, my Brozilla, to a new video

My name is Venotrax

and today I'm going to explain the word Staple

What is Staple?

In TCGs Staple is a synonym for standard or generic

Generic means that you're able to play a card in every deck

Let's take Yu-Gi-Oh as example

There we got cards like the Mystical Space Typhoon

Which nowadays got replaced by Cosmic Cyclone and Twin Twister

But we still know "this card is good"

You may ask why we know

It's because this cards effect was always good

And this is important for Staple

We want cards that are strong and can be used in every deck

If we take a look on Cardfight!! Vangaurd

And let's take Dimension Police as example

There you play in like every deck Commander Laurel, because Commander Laurel is a really good card

He's Staple because of his skill

His skill: If the attack hits you can rest 4 Dimension Police rear guards and stand your Vanguard

And that's really nice

And again, that's Staple

If you enjoyed the video destroy the like button

I would be happy if you could write the next topic into the comments

Good night and good fight, your Venotrax

[CC] Is Love, Simon as Good as the Book? | Love, Simon Movie Review - Duration: 5:01.

Oh hi guys, my name's Heather and you're watching Heather-Reset. I am off to go

see love Simon, and I'm so nervous. I've got like an hour before it shows.

I'm leaving because I want to get a good seat. I'm never nervous for movies and

I'm never nervous for book to movie adaptations. The movie and the book are

separate, and I can enjoy both separately. But this one I'm really nervous about.

One of the reasons why is because I really wanted it to stick completely to

the book but it's not going to. I got spoiled on some of the tricks that they

try to pull on people when I was watching someone's review of the movie.

You know when they talk about like having yourself represented in a book

and I say like I never feel like that. Yes, I'm a white straight female, but

females that are represented usually never represent me. I have

connected with guys in books and two out of three of them are gay. Don't really know

what that says about me. A little nervous because I did feel like I connected to Simon and he

definitely represents how I was in relationships and even with online

relationships. I totally got all of it. I was also in theater. We just connect

so much. Now I'm gonna go watch the movie, and I don't know what the theaters gonna

be like. I live in Kentucky so in a way I feel like I'm gonna go see Fifty Shades

of Grey.

This is like the third biggest city in Kentucky, but like it's not huge. Alright the movie's over. The first 25 mins or so I just

could not enjoy because the volume was

not loud enough in the theater. So I walked out to tell something to turn it

up. They didn't turn it up even though they

told me they were going to. Then I called someone while I was in the theater to get them to turn the

volume up, and I don't really know that they did either, but then someone came

in after that and I walked to the front. I don't know if

there's a speaker controller there, but then

after that I was just like okay I'm not gonna call and try to get a hold of someone a

third time when it's obvious they're not gonna do it. I just tried to ignore

the fact that I was having to strain my ears to hear it. and I think that people just

like stopped eating popcorn at that point. They'd run out of popcorn so

l was finally able to enjoy the movie, and I was glad because the latter part

was the best part anyway. A lot of the worries that I had with them changing up

the movie didn't actually wind up being a concern at all. Okay so we stuck with

the actual story. Thank you. There was only a few things that were changed to give

Blue more screen time, like with the party scene that happens. Some of the

things that happened at the Waffle House did not happen in the book. They really tried

hard to make Martin more sympathetic. There were people in the theater whenever he

was talking about like wanting to be with Abby and he wanted to Abby to like

him for himself they were all like aw, and I'm like you clearly haven't read

the book. Someone tweeted that this morning and then they deleted their

tweet for some reason. It happened again. There wasn't that many people in the

theater. 50% of it was couples, like heterosexual couples. Then like a set of

four girls and then like a couple girls and I don't know if they were friends or

whatever, but at the end of the movie some of them were crying. Whenever it got

to the ferris wheel scene like half the people in the theater were clapping. I

wanted more. I was waiting for that scene at the end of the book where

they have the talent show and then his older sister pops in with her new boyfriend

and it's like so we're gonna go out to eat y'all can go home and study and do

your homework. I was waiting for that part and it

didn't happen. but I do like the way that they ended the movie. It was cute and

there was more than one kiss so I was like okay good because I don't like the

movies where it's like there's one kiss and then that's it. Yeah I'm like it

ain't really a romance if there's only one kiss. I'm like don't Pride and

Prejudice me, people. A lot of the additions felt more like deleted

chapters from the book in a way. It really did seem like the actual story

even though there were deviations. If you are a person that relates to Simon in

that way with like the whole coming-out story or something like that, then you

would benefit from the theater viewing because you're sitting with other people

and it's kind of like there's this support vibe or at least if not a

support vibe than a non-judgmental vibe from everyone that's in that theater so

it feels kind of like a safe space. I feel like if you're wanting that kind

of community, you're wanting to feel like you're accepted, then going to the

theater would definitely be something good for you to do. If it's not

something where you feel like you need that,

then viewing it at home whenever it comes out on DVD is gonna be just as

good. The book gave me a lot more feels because

there was a lot more Simon and Blue, but I did like the movie as well. Bye :)
