I'm going to try something new today.
I have heard a few people propose that Emperor Palpatine could actually be Darth Bane.
It's not a theory that I think is true, but admittedly there is evidence for it.
So I am going to respectfully go over the evidence in support of and against the theory
and let you decide for yourselves.
Darth Bane is well known as the Sith Lord that created the Rule of Two, and shaped Sith
philosophy into what most Star Wars fans are most familiar with.
He wanted the Sith to remain a secret to the galaxy, formulating a longer term plan to
infiltrate the government and destroy the Jedi through sabotage and conniving rather
than a blatant attack.
Emperor Palpatine, also known as Darth Sidious, is considered by many to be the culmination
of one thousand years of work, the climax of Darth Bane's grand plan.
But is it possible that there is more going on behind the scenes?
Was Darth Sidious actually Darth Bane all along?
Okay, let me rewind and explain myself, and also make sure you know that everything I'm
about to talk about is only in the context of Star Wars Legends.
There is absolutely no support for this in the current canon.
Darth Bane was fully committed to his Rule of Two.
He felt that passing on all the knowledge he had to an apprentice until they had learned
enough and trained enough that they could kill him and take on their own apprentice
was the only way the Sith would truly grow stronger.
Unfortunately he feared that his apprentice, Darth Zannah, was not strong enough to carry
on his legacy.
He wished to find a new apprentice, so he learned the secrets of Transfer Essence, a
dark side ability that would allow him to move his consciousness into a new body, as
his current body was growing weak.
Zannah did challenge Bane, and in their battle he attempted to transfer his mind into hers.
The conclusion of the fight was ambiguous, but Zannah had seemingly developed some new
physical ticks that were earlier displayed by Darth Bane.
The possible implication there being that Bane had successfully taken over Zannah's
body, and that he would continue training her new apprentice, Darth Cognus.
So assuming he were successful, what's to stop him from transferring his essence again
and again?
Could he potentially have just continued learning more in the dark side for one thousand years
until he finally found himself in the body of Darth Sidious?
I know that sounds crazy and unlikely, but now consider this.
Sidious was very talented in transfer essence.
In Legends he cloned himself and moved his consciousness on multiple occasions.
He even did it to other people like Bevel Lemelisk.
It sure sounds like he's had a lot of practice perfecting the technique.
Maybe even a millennia worth of practice.
So maybe Darth Sidious was more than just the culmination of Darth Bane's master plan,
but maybe he was Darth Bane himself!
Now I will admit that is a very fun thought, but again, I don't think it's true.
I think it's pretty easily refuted by other Legends books, like Darth Plagueis, where
we see the inner monologues of Plagueis and Sidious, and there isn't any indication
Plagueis is anyone but who he says he is.
There's also no scene where anyone tries an essence transfer.
On top of that, both Plagueis and Sidious speak somewhat disparagingly about Bane and
his principles, and they planned to put an end to the Rule of Two so that they could
control the galaxy indefinitely.
They also defy the Rule of Two a bit when they bring in Darth Maul, although they never
considered him a true Sith, but simply an assassin.
And what should be the real nail in the coffin of this theory is that Drew Karpyshyn, the
author of the Darth Bane Trilogy, and the scene where Bane attempts to take over Zannah's
mind, has state that Bane failed, and Zannah remained herself.
He said the physical ticks she developed were meant to imply that his invasion of her consciousness
did have an effect on her, but that she was ultimately still in control.
Even though I agree with him, I think that an author's intents can't be taken as
absolute truth and that if Legends still continued and if an author wrote a story about Bane
controlling Zannah's body, that would be fully within reason.
But it's my own belief that Darth Bane died in his duel with Darth Zannah and that his
story continued no further.
So to me, this theory is busted.
But you have all the evidence now to make your own opinion, so what do you think?

So as most of you already know
I upload English-related, teaching-related content
onto this channel
They're all family friendly
And that's the way I intended it to be
Cos you know, kids might be watching
But recently I might have let loose
some swear words here and there
and I'm getting comments like
"Oh Ray is swearing!"
or "Oh I've never heard him swear"
so on and so forth
Owing to that
some people around me would start telling me
to watch my language more
that I need to set an example, yeah
So today I wanted to talk to you
about my thoughts on profanity
which is just a fancy way of saying
swear words, curse words, bad words, whatever
First things first
I do not encourage swearing but
I do swear off camera
Sooooometimes
Now before you go off at me
I believe the intent of your communication
outweighs the specific words you use
Okay, I know that may sound like
a lame excuse but, but hear me out
For example, the phrase "Oh my god"
used to be regarded as profanity
Such a common phrase
such a common saying was once frowned upon
This is because saying "Oh my god" is seen as
"using the Lord's name in vain"
which is a taboo amongst Christians
But nowadays it's really just an expression
As language adapts into our culture, our society, our norms
people just use it
because people use it
So it really just comes down to
what you mean by the words you say
While we're on this subject
I would like to share an interesting story
that happened to me back in middle school
So I studied in a Christian school
and obviously any form of cussing is banned
That is especially the case
for our grammar classes
Our grammar teacher, Mr. Mills
is a devout Christian you see
And he only has two rules in the classroom
One, you do not swear
Two, you do not use the Lord's name in vain
But he is considerate enough
to give us some cheats
So instead of shit you can say shoot
Instead of damn you can say darn
Instead of Jesus you can say geez (or jeez)
And instead of oh my god you can say oh my gosh
He made this so perfectly clear that
every time you break the rules
you have to put in 10NT dollars
into the class piggy bank
And usually by the end of the semester
we would use that money for like a pizza party or something
But I remember one time in class
as I was wiping some dust off my glasses
and then somehow I broke it into two
It came as a shock so as a reflex
I said "Oh my gooooood"
and only after I realized I had to add
the -sh at the end to make it gosh
But it's so depressing that I broke my glasses, right?
So I naturally just extended that -sh into a
shiiit
So I ended up saying
"Oh my god shit."
And I had to put in 20 into the piggy bank
So the moral of the story?
I dunno, don't break your glasses in class?
Anyways back to my point
I think that swearing is all about what you mean
If all is just in good fun
then I don't really see the harm in that
There's even a new study published in the journal
Social Psychological and Personality Science
that found people who swear more
associating with higher degrees of honesty and integrity
F*ck yeah!
Swearing is a form of self-expression
so by doing that you are
actively portraying yourself honestly
compared to those who refrain from it
Well at least that's what the study says
But on the other hand
some people do get offended by swearing
So that's also something you have to bear in mind
If you're with a group of friends
and you're used to, you know
throwing around swear words as a joke
I don't see that as too much of a problem
But if you're with someone who would
mistake your intent and get all offended
Then even if you mean no harm
it would be better if you keep it to yourself
And also, obviously, if you swear too much
people would think that you're vulgar and impolite
That was just an example
I don't really talk like that
I know some friends who would swear excessively all the time
and it can really get annoying
It's all about the timing and context
There's a time and place for everything, even swearing
So I think it's a mixed bag
There are both sides to the argument and there is no clear verdict
What do you think?
Do you think that all swear words are bad no matter what
or are you okay with people swearing?
Let me know in the comments!
Is that, is that rain?
Yeah
Shit
Don't put that in!
Ay, what do you think of the story tho?
The story is very funny!~
Oh the funny story right here!
If I may say so myself~
Ok, very funny story

Red Faction 2 Has Been Removed From List Of 'Harmful' Media - Duration: 2:04.
Hello, this is Jonathan from Censored Gaming.
It seems Red Faction 2 is joining Bulletstorm in being removed from the German government's
List Of Media Harmful To Young People, otherwise known as The Index.
The news was unveiled on the Steam Community page for the group For Uncut.
Previously, Red Faction 2 was released in 2003 with a censored version that was rated
USK 16.
We also previously reported back in October that the first game was taken off the list
as well after 15 years of being banned in Germany.
Now, the uncensored version of Red Faction 2 can finally be purchased on Steam as well.
Though just what was censored originally?
Similar to the Bulletstorm video, this popular German website has comparisons of the uncensored
and censored versions.
Censorship includes: enemies' blood being replaced with metallic sparks, replacing certain
weaponry, removing various violent cheat codes and much more.
Another change was that it is no longer possible to set enemies on fire, as weapons that can
light up foes have been removed.
THQ Nordic also released a press release regarding the news on Gamasutra, celebrating its victory
in the game's removal, while also having their Vienna-based team have more discussions
with the Federal Department for Media Harmful to Young Persons.
Jans Binsmaier, the publishing director of THQ Nordic, also assured fans of their games
in Germany that: "We will of course still be nurturing our extensive games portfolio
that now comprises over 265 titles, and will do our utmost to ensure that gamers can play
our games in the future.
We can still celebrate "small" successes like this even a decade later!"
They have not commented on the next game they intend to try to get unbanned.
Should more information regarding more games removed or added to the harmful media list
be available, we here at Censored Gaming will keep you updated.
Thank you for watching!

ComfyWise Orthopedic Seat Cushion Review - Ask Doctor Jo - Duration: 5:15.
Hey everybody it's Doctor Jo, and it's
product review time again. The folks at
ComfyWise sent me their orthopedic
seat cushion. So let's get started.
This is actually their
updated version. It's a little bit softer
than the original one. They took some
feedback and made it a little bit better,
and so I'm going to show you all the
nice perks about it.
Not only is it nice and soft,
it gives you a good comfy seat to sit on
which helps put you in a good posture. So
the great thing about this is, let's say
you have a coccyx injury or back pain in
general. What it does is when you sit on
it, it helps put you in a neutral position,
so you're straight up-and-down. It helps
keep you in that position that's not
slumping down and things like that, and
it helps make them more comfortable in
general. Right here, this little opening
goes in the back. So if you actually have
an injury back there, it takes all the
pressure off of it. That's really nice. It
has that opening so when you're sitting
down you're not putting all of your body
weight in one spot.
It's also really nice because you can
see here these little contours, and that
goes in the front, and the reason that is
good is because when you're sitting for a
long period of time, if you're working on
the computer and you're not getting up
and taking a whole lot of breaks, a lot
of times the pressure underneath your
legs on the chair ends up making your
legs fall asleep because it is cutting
off the circulation, is pressing on
nerves back there, so these contours
right here are really nice because it helps
take some of that pressure off the front
as well as the pressure in the back. Also
the outside of the cushion is
super soft. If you just rub on, it's really
really nice and soft, super comfortable.
If you're wearing shorts or something,
that's nice because it's not
uncomfortable and itchy and scratchy
on the skin. What I also like on the back
here is they have these little silicone
spot here to help with the friction, so
it doesn't slide all over the seat. And
these are a little more
pronounced than some of the other
cushions I've seen so it stays in one
place very nicely, so I like that as well.
You can also take the outer piece off
and wash it occasionally, so if it gets
a little bit dirty or if you're using it
in a wheelchair or something and it gets
soiled, then you can just take the outer
piece off and wash it, so that's really
nice as well.
It also has a little carrying handle
here so you can easily carry it with you,
so you don't have to hold all around it, so
that's nice, and then they even have a
bonus so if you don't just want to use
the handles, you have a nice bag and what's
nice with the bag is you don't have to
just use it for the cushion you can use
it for anything else, so that's really
really nice.
So make sure when you put it in the seat
the opening goes in the back, so those
little contours go in the front and you
can sit right on it, and as you can see as
soon as I sit on it, I situp a little bit
taller because the way it's designed, it
push those hips in that neutral position,
and you can see right here where my legs
go in those contours, so something
especially like sciatic pain, if you have
sciatica, this really helps take some
pressure off those areas to make it nice
and comfortable. Even a women who are
pregnant that are having a lot of
back pain because a lot of times it
pulls them forward and that back gets
out of that neutral position, but these
cushions help keep you in that neutral
position so it's really nice. It's
comfy, it's not too firm and it's not too
soft. It makes me feel like I'm
sitting on something softer than just
the hard chair, but it puts me in that
nice upright position as well. When
you're sitting on a cushion, make sure
that your feet are flat on the ground, so
if you're in the chair and then you put
the cushion in and your feet are a little
bit higher, make sure you adjust that
because you want your knees and your
hips to be at about a 90 degree angle.
That also helps with the good posture as
well, but what I really like about the
cushion is if I try and slouch it feels
weird, so it really feels more
comfortable when you're in that upright
position, so I think it does a really
good job of that. And again that opening
in the back takes that pressure off for
just back pain in general, a herniated disc,
stenosis, things like that, and then in
the front it takes the pressure off here
so if you have circulation pain, nerve
pain, going down into your legs it helps
protect that as well, so it's a really
nice cushion. It's something really nice to
have especially if you sit for long
periods working, or if you just on your
computer in general for fun,
make sure you have something keeping
that nice neutral position because when
you're working on stuff sometimes you
forget to take breaks often, so make sure
you take care of your body and keep that
back in that nice neutral position, keep
your booty comfortable, and it helps also
to make sure that you don't get those
pressure sores. If you have any questions, leave
them in the comments section. If you'd
like to find out more about the product
go to ComfyWise.com. If you'd like
to purchase the product, just click on
the box here. And remember, be safe have fun, and
I hope you feel better soon.

Do You Know If Your Memories Are Real? - Duration: 3:38.
Hey there and welcome to Life Noggin.
You're currently living in a world where people document their lives in more unique
ways than ever before.
You can post a picture to social media, upload a vlog to YouTube, or go old-school and make
a scrapbook.
And what's great about these things is that it gives you countless ways to look back at
different life events and recall certain memories, like that time you got married or that time
your dog WOULDN'T STOP rolling around in the mud.
And there are lots of other ways to trigger certain memories, too, like smelling a certain
scent or hearing a certain sound.
But what's actually happening in the brain when one of these memories is triggered?
And are those memories always correct?
We've all been there -- you're in your kitchen and get a whiff of some potato chips
and suddenly, you're taken back to a time where you were up all night snacking and playing
the newest Mass Effect game.
Ahhh, goood times!
This is an example of an episodic memory -- one where you mentally travel back in time to
relive something in the past.
Odors are powerful triggers for these, usually resulting in more vivid and emotional memories
compared to those triggered by your other senses.
That's likely thanks to the layout of your brain.
See, the olfactory bulb, which processes odors, is connected to two important structures involved
in memory and emotion: the hippocampus and the amygdala.
The hippocampus is involved in storing long-term memories and the amygdala is involved in processing
emotions.
Just imagine if scientists invented Smell-O-Vision already -- certain shows might be triggering
memories left and right!
Of course, it's not just smells that can be good memory cues -- pictures can as well.
And interestingly, the memories they bring back up might not be entirely correct.
A study in the early 2000s showed subjects four photos -- three of which were real pictures
from their childhood and one was a Photoshopped photo of the subject and their family taking
a hot-air balloon ride.
The subjects reviewed all four photos three times over two weeks and by the end of the
study, 50% of the subjects "remembered" the balloon-ride and described it in great
detail.
Basically, these images caused these people to remember something that hadn't actually
happened.
Similarly, a 2011 study had people read news headlines of world events where some of the
headlines were true and others were false.
And some of the headlines had photos as well.
When the people were asked if they remembered the event, if it had a picture attached, they
confidently said they remembered it...even if it was fake.
But don't get me wrong -- pictures obviously don't just cause you to remember false events.
If you see an undoctored photo, you're probably going to remember the event as it happened.
In fact, pictures are so good that they can even help people with dementia.
Something called reminiscence therapy is sometimes used to get people with dementia to talk about
past experiences with other people with the aid of photos, music, stories, and other things
to cue certain memories.
And there's even some evidence to suggest that it can improve their mood and cognition.
More research is needed, but every little bit of improvement is a very, very good thing.
So what's the weirdest thing that's ever triggered a memory for you?
Let me know in the comments below!
Curious why you forget things in the first place?
Lucky enough, there's a Life Noggin on that!
Check it out!
Make sure you come back every Monday for a brand new video.
As always, I'm Blocko and this has been Life Noggin.

Yes, I have a whiplash wound that gives me more or less pain every day
so, I am living with chronic pains
Tomorrow there is a Yarn festival on the mainland that is taking place twice a year
I have not been there for a year and a half but I hope I can go tomorrow!
I can not plan things anymore, because I do not know how I will feel
Before my injury I could decide what I wanted to do, make pland and go through with them
That does not work anymore, I do not buy a ticket ahead for example, I do that tomorrow if I am well
I have learned not to get disappointed if things does not work out as I want
I am happy to be at home to, together with you, even if it´s not fun to have pains
But it feels a bit poor not to be able to do what you want to
Yes, but as I can not change the fact of my pains I have to accept them
I can only change how I relate myself to the fact that I have pains I can not change
It is not easy every day but it is the same as with other difficulties in life
We have had our share of difficulties and sorrows
It is not only my pains, we have also lost a child and we have both been very ill
I have gone through operations and you have had a myocardial infarction
That was only a week after we had moved together
Not a good timing
It was very tough, it is now 7 years ago
Had I been smoking to much?
No, you have never been smoking
Had I been eating to much? No.
It was caused by too much stress
It can happen to anyone
It was a hard time to go through but all these difficult things have made us stronger and also happier
Most of the time we are very thankful and happy to be alive and together
This is not meant to be a big complaining section of the podcast
I think we have changed a lot, both of us,
we can better appreciate the things we have
I feel rich when I can drink coffee together with you
that is important stuff... and to know that the children are alright
sitting together, having good food
The small things are the most important ones
Yes, it is the things we find small that actually are the real big things
Yes, and the myocardial infarction was probably the best thing that could have happened then
because it made me change
I learned a lot by being so close to death
I got very grateful for being alive
It is tough sometimes but I think we have to learn how to live with the hard things instead of against them
When my daughter was 4 years old she was very ill and someone asked her how she was doing
She answered I do not feel well but I am doing fine
She felt as if she was being cared for and that it was good enough, the best that it could be right then
Maybe that is the secret when we do not feel well - trying to have a good time anyway
It is not easy
But it is about accepting the things you can not change and having the courage to change the things you can
it is all about the Serenity prayer
You do not need so many things to be happy, somewhere to live and something to eat and love
it is not always easy to find love either
But things are not the key to happiness
I am happy if I can go for a walk in the sun or sit and drink coffee with you
But yarn... that is a good thing
Of course there is also happiness in material things
but it is a different thing, a different league
it is not a long term help for happiness
the sheep are contributing with the wool and we can make clothes
it feels kind of primarily
Anyway, it feels great to be able to sit here and talk with you
it is not something I take for granted
and I do not take it for granted that I can go to the Yarn festival tomorrow
but I think it can be real fun if I go there
the best thing is the meetings - all the wonderful people I want to see in real life
this episode of the podcast will be released after the Yarn festival
We'll see...
What is the best thing that you have learned through all the difficulties we have gone through?
To be grateful!
That´s it.
It is a nice thing to be, grateful
We do not need so many things
I also think you have changed by getting very brave
You mean that I always say what I feel?
Yes, you always stand up for what is right
I think that is an important thing to do
I also try to do that, but you are better at doing it all the way
you are never being a coward
But you are good at demonstrating!
Walking around the town wall with a pink hat on your head
Yes, I did that a while ago and it got a lot of attention on social media
it was a good example on how to reach out to a lot of people through social media
there was no organized Women's march here, so I went on my own
it was only me and my pink hat - and you filmed it and now thousands of people have seen it on Instagram and facebook
This was not as boring as I thought, talking about sickness
Talking about being grateful you mean?
It is boring to be ill but what can we do?
It is beautiful to be able to feel that life and every day living it is a precious gift
Nicely put by you again
Thank you
Suddenly I discover that I have knitted three natural white shawls in a row
The fact that I haven't reflected on it before it is done must mean that I am obsessed
or that I thought I was in a big need of natural white shawls
they are all different but wonderful
Isn't it amazing that there are so many beautiful yarns and patterns?
First, I knitted Linnea Öhmans Salix shawl in Fino from Manos del Uruguay
It is silk and wool and it is lovely and warm
Then I knitted my Pebble beach, a pattern from Helen Stewart
it is usually made out of fingering weight yarn but I used Jämtland from Solkustens spinnverkstad
it is a yarn I really like, soft, cosy and with a great luster
and the shawl is really something to keep me warm
I have now finished my Hollows shawl, a pattern by sweet Melody Hoffmann
the yarn is like a fairytale, it is called Gårdarnas and it comes from Organic knitters
it is a small scale produced yarn made from Swedish wool and spun at Båvens spinnhus, close to where we used to live
You can check it out at organicknitters.com
But I have not only been knitting shawls, I have also tried a new sock yarn from Moods of Colors
It is produced by John Arbon in Devon, England and it is not super wash
it is called Humble regards from Devon and you can find it at moodsofcolors.com
I have used it in a new pair of my Advent Mystery Sock
Then I have had some problems with an aching arm and shoulder and I could not knit for a whole week
after two days I had to begin to do some crocheting
it is easier on the shoulders
and it is so fun!
I really like Grannyblankets but I have never made a whole blanket. I guess it is time now!
I begun doing some squares using left over yarns
Then I also started on a grannyblanket in zig-zag, using sock yarns
It is so satisfying to watch new things grow out of scrap yarn
I have also tried Llama Silk yarn from Järbo and it is lovely, mulberry silk and baby llama
This is going to be a baby blanket
I am so glad that there are so many wanting to knit my new sock pattern Lucky me
I like the rib, it is a very nice basic sock
On Instagram you can watch a lot of colour combinations under #luckymesocks
On the 27th of January it was 72 years since they could deliberate Auschwitz
this is the reason why the 27th of January is called the International Holocaust Remembrance day
It is a day when we can manifest our beliefs and commitments for a better world
against violence and racism
we lit candles and felt how close Auschwitz still is
It is frightening but we have to turn the fear into hope
and a fight on the barricades for justice, diversity, love and tolerance
my grandmother came to Sweden in the white buses during world war 2
she was born in 1911
I can still hear her voice telling me about the escape
she was packing only the most important and beloved things in a suitcase
to leave her home when everything was being bombed
her husband was gone and she did not know if he was alive for many years
She escaped in a car with her suitcase and three children
by the road there were many people on the run and my grandmother told me how she threw her suitcase out
to get some space to carry more people in the car
Who are standing by the roads today?
What can we throw away to help?
To whom do we give from our warmth?
So many thoughts go through my head as we watch the television news
What powers have the ability to achieve all this hatred and violence?
We talk to our children
Every generation is getting further away from the holocaust during world war 2
We have to keep on talking and writing about it so that we never forget
we have to read the diary of Anne Frank, the Book thief, the books of Imre Kertész
In 2002 Imre Kertész got the Nobel Prize in literature with the motivation
"for writing that upholds the fragile experience of the individual against the barbaric arbitrariness of history"
He was a prisoner first in Auschwitz and then also in Buchenwald
His stories are strong, beautiful and terrible
People are going to the old concentration camps
they hear stories from survivors
and they can see mountains of glasses, hair, shaving brushes, toys, sorrows and pain
Let us never forget!
There is still happening terrible, evil, disgusting things every day
but there is also so much love and light in the world
and I want so much to feel hope!
Let this year 2017 be the year when the warmth is coming back
when the humanity, the empathy and the helpfulness can grow
Let us together build a softer, better and more beautiful world
I know that we can do it!
We all have more than what my grandmother had in her suitcase
Let us help each other! Light candles for freedom and peace, today and all other days!
Queen of Kammebornia knits
What are you knitting?
What am Iknitting? Isn't that strange?
it is a reversal of roles
But I have been knitting for some days now! What about you?
I am knitting on a sock.
This is a lovely hand dyed yarn I have showed before, it is from @garnbolaget
Kristin Carlsson at Garnbolaget hand dyes beautiful yarns
This is a very good sock yarn, called Trekking
Isn't it nice?
You can say whatever you want but I think it is unusual to see you knit
It has been usual for the last week
I don't really have time to talk to you because I am focusing on this
Are you knitting or purling?
Am I not supposed to knit two stitches now?
Yes, you are so talented. What made you want to begin knitting?
I don't know really. One day I just thought... it would be nice to knit, but who could teach me?
It felt like it was time
So I tried and you told me I had talent
You really do!
That is kind!
No, it is just facts. And it was so fun when you started. I have never been asking or nagging on you to try
I think you wanted to try when you saw that Rob was knitting, Rob who lives with Sarah on Fibertrek
and also Andrew that lives with Andrea (on the Fruity knitting podcast)
But it is not a competition
No, but I remember that you talked about that you wanted to learn how to knit when we met many years ago
Yes I did
So you have had it in your mind for a while
Ouch!
I like it, I got stuck immediately!
In the last episode we were talking about addiction and I think I am addicted already - or am I not?
Well, yesterday I went to bed before Dennis, which is not very common. And I heard you shouting
I will soon be there, I just have to knit a couple of rounds first!
That was very special...
I didn´t have time to go to bed
And the first thing I heard this morning was: How was this thing with the purling again?
That's me. I have made swatches!
Yes, here they are. At first you made one only by making knit stitches
I gave you a circular needle at first but it was hard to understand front and back and it got confusing
Our very wise daughter thought it better to give you ordinary needles at first
She was right, as always
So you used them instead to get a hang out of it
You made three different swatches
You learned how to knit and to purl and to make a rib
Then you got the circular needle back
Yes, by then I had understood how it all worked
I guess I was a bit creaking at first?
Yes you were, but now you are really good at it!
I thought it was interesting to think about the needles. Before, I always knitted on ordinary needles
I have quite many needles, I have my grand mothers old ones and I find new old ones at flea markets
Why is he so mad?
Do not touch my knitting!
Well, nowadays I mostly use circular needles
And, knitting with the long needles is always very interesting for the cats, so it does not work
This is a pair of extra fine needles, I got this old pair from our friend Monica
they are from the 19th century, from Fårö, north of Gotland
They are very long and crooked and well used
I think they are so beautiful
So someone has been knitting on those at Fårö, in an old lime stone house
And then I have another pair, dearest to me
Our daughter Ella made these for me
Why is she always the best in everything?
She was in a Steiner school (Waldorf) and there they got to make their own needles while learning how to knit
These are very precious to me
You want to use them as drum sticks, but you can't
Here I have my dpn:s and my circular needles
I keep them in this case that you ususally tease me for - like I am Dexter or something
The TV-series Dexter, a serial killer who keeps his knifes in a similar case
But I have needles instead
So I found a circular needle for you and you got a hank of wool from Solkustens spinnverkstad
And now you are working on a cowl
I am helping you on the side, you are doing all the work by your self, casting on, knitting and so on
sometimes you need a little help and sometimes you have to knit backwards
It turns out so nice!
I knit in advance, to make the pattern for you
You are a bit faster
That is good, because then I can teach you
Yeah, that is right
Since the last episode I have been mostly crocheting
I started making this grannyblanket for example
I like using scrap yarns to create new things
I have also released my new sock pattern Lucky me
I am working on this pair - it is my Advent mystery KAL-pattern
They were red and green?
Yes, they had Christmas colours, but now I am making them in grellow, not so Christmaslike
This is the new sockyarn from moodsofcolors.com
Most sockyarns are superwash to make them easier to wash but that also means that they are treated with chemicals
This yarn is not superwash so you have to wash the socks by hand
I do not think it is a big issue to wash by hand, I like to take care of my knittd items. Like mending socks and sweaters
it is easy to forget to do it, but when I actually do it, I like to do it
You can find this yarn at moodsofcolors.com
Well, I have also started on a tunic for me!
Look! This is a Danish yarn, Geilsk
I have been wanting to try this yarn for a long time and now I had the opportunity
I got this yarn from Charlottendals gård
Before Christmas I had a cooperation with them where you could win yarn and my patterns
This will be a tunic for me but I have just started
Can I knit now?
Yes of course!
I like it when we can knit together now!
But I also knit when you sleep!
What shall I do now?
Purl two!
Are we finished now?
Yes, let's knit!
We are so happy to be able to share our yarn happiness, Gotland love and coffee moments with you!

YouTube Enhancements Improve Video Quality - Tweaks and Effects - Duration: 4:34.
Hi this video is about how to use enhancements to improve the quality of your videos on youtube.
Did you know that you can improve the quality of your videos right on YouTube without affecting
the views, comments or rankings?
The enhancement features allow you to make tweaks and add effects to the videos that
you've already uploaded to YouTube.
You don't need to re-upload a video to make the changes.

Keep these 3 important things in mind: 1.
Using the enhancement features doesn't affect the comments, views, or rankings of that video
2.
You can only use the enhancement features to make changes to existing videos.
You can't use them to replace an existing upload with an entirely new video file.
3.
Videos that have received over 100,000 views can't be enhanced
Let me ask you a question…
What enhancement feature have you used or do you intend to use to improve the quality
of existing videos on YouTube?
Post your answer in the comments below.

Smart Defense - Duration: 7:13.
In the first video Gregg explained that winning tennis matches is
all about playing percentage tennis and
he also showed you with data that that's
exactly what the best players in the
world do and the second video Gregg
introduced the simple red, yellow, green
traffic light system that guides you in
making the right decisions
depending on where you are on the court.
We also took a closer look at the red
zone and the kinds of mistakes that
players typically make from the red zone.
If you haven't watched those two videos
yet please watch those first because
these videos do build upon each other.
It's one thing being able to understand these tactics
in the classroom and another thing going
out executing it. Now just like you may
have technical flaws or habits in
your game...it's hard to break those habits!
So in tactics you also have to break
old habits if you are making some tactical errors.
So it's so important
that you go and work on these drills,
work on the situation so when you find
yourself in certain positions in a match
you've trained it and it's almost an
automatic switch, when the ball lands here
I'm positioned in this position and
based on that position this is my target.
You don't second guess you just go for
the target!
Now the footwork for playing a defensive
ball from the defensive area of the red zone.
So if the ball lands in this area over here.
(like this quarter circle)
Then you're gonna have to go back and how you
go back is you want to take 'cross-over steps'.
You want to cross over
going back! Now if the balls up high, you
want to load up on your back leg and
you're going to play off that back leg.
The key here is you want your body weight
going upwards! A lot of people make the
mistake of falling backwards and
end up missing the shot.
So you want to cross over, you want to drive up!...
See how this leg comes up and then you gonna fall and then
you can recover back to your recovery position.
Let's take a look at it again.
So the balls in that quarter
circle in the corner. You cross over, you
cross over, you load up! If the balls up
high you drive up on this leg...
this left leg goes up and then you land
and you recover back to this position.
Now you do the same thing but if
the ball is dropping and its lower, try to get
your weight forward where you can play the ball
from this position. So you have the 2 options!
A low ball you'll play like this.
If the balls up higher you'll play with your
back leg and you want to make sure you
transition your weight upwards and not
back!
So what you want to do is you want to do
a couple of shadows swings.
So I'm going to show you how to do it. We'll shadow
swing it and you cross over, cross over,
load! Drive up! Land on that leg and
split step! Again cross over, cross over,
cross over, load! Drive up! Land on this
leg, come back...split! Then you want to
practice it when the ball is low and you
can get onto the front foot.
So you're gonna split, you're going to crossover,
crossover, get the weight forward...hit!
And then come back...split! Again cross over,
cross over, load!
Get the weight transfer forward, hit! then come back and split!
You want practice those shadows things over
and over before we go onto the hand feed.
Now let's take a look at a drill
using the defensive footwork. You want to
defend high and deep.
The idea is when the ball is in flight,
you're going high and deep to buy time.
You are recovering so when the ball is bouncing
on the other side, ideally you want to
be split stepping in the recovery position.
So Nadim is going to start
with shadows swings. He's going to take
crossover steps going back and load on
that back leg! He's driving upwards not backwards.
Crossing over. If he does have
time he can get back and then transfer
the weight forward!
Now let's take a look at this in action.
We will start with a hand toss first!
I'm gonna try to toss the ball to that
outer corner right there where he's
forced to move diagonally back, but now we
have a target area!
So he's in a defensive area. He's going high
and deep cross-court to zone 3.
I'm tossing the ball over here and he's
working on recovering, making sure he is
here when the balls bouncing.
So i'll toss it a little bit tougher here.
He wants to get back quickly!
We want to take crossover steps going back.
One point to highlight when you do this drill, if I'm
hand feeding the ball, very often
i may feed the ball long and it's actually
going to be out so that way
i'm actually pushing the student where
they can feel the have to go back!
So I'm going to feed it so the
ball is actually going to land close
to the line or even land out!
Don't pay attention to that part. The whole idea is
you want to get the feeling of being pushed
back!
Crossing over, loading up on the back legs.
Let's take a look.
Now the feed is actually pushing Nadim back and
forcing him to do this!
This is more difficult to show the hand toss...
hence why the ball may go out but
ideally we want to get him to work on that footwork.
Now we're going to put this
together in a feeding drill.
The first progression all i'm going to do is
feed deep balls to Nadim where he is either going to
play a defensive shot or neutral shot
high and deep cross court.
Now i am positioned right here to give him more
of a true angle so when he's playing the
point this is going to represent an angle.
If i stood over here this wouldn't
really represent how he would play.
I'm going to feed
I'm pushing him back. High and deep!
He's just working it over and over with the feed.
So you can play neutral or you
can be in a defensive position.
So you want to practice that over and over!

especially around we or 17 a strange
voice go get your oxygen so that we can
pack up and get climbing the three men
dug into the snow-covered mountain with
their ice axes and continue their quest
to reach everest summit
they were not looking by any means
therefore they moved with grand
precision always carefully placing their
feet into the fresh cut holes
however even experts are capable of
mistakes than being caught off guard the
wind picked up and produce the blizzard
doing just that last day you what the
hell is up with this weather now shouted
to orlando Gilbert at this rate we are
going to make it back home let alone to
the top or well replied Gilbert who was
taking up the rear looks to his left and
noticed the cave that was embedded into
the side of the mountain
hey man there's something over here
looks like a cave we could wait it out
there the three Mountaineers climbed
over and made their way into the cave 1
by 1 if we had in deeper we will get off
well stated it should be sitting here
yet replied with enthusiasm the cavern
darkened the further they went at least
briefly until they reached a point or
small holes in the mountainside were
present and small waves of light shone
through man ran his hand aggressive you
to hold this like really met stated and
disbelief
oh you're there is no way for awhile
replied in an astonished own a shuffling
sound echoed from farther down the cave
it gradually became louder and louder
the sound was getting closer and I net
whisper do with two friends before
another word could be stuck or any
action taken a large white figure
lumbered interview the four beings could
still die each other intently the white
of the figure was no it's firm was
naturally black and was that of a
million like bear upon closer inspection
that came to realize that the fur was
the creatures own it was no bear the
others seem to realize this truth as
well
Gilbert sex drops to his knees and
produced across from one of his coat
pockets Gilbert raised the cross up to
his I level and begin to chant the press
oh the creatures purple eyes peek out
from underneath of our coat and regarded
to speaking human very briefly before it
raised the fur cover dependent and shot
forth a black tentacle-like appendage
with three sharp rhymes with prongs
struck the praying man in the stomach
and acted as a fishing line which real
the screaming man back to the net and or
well I momentarily Baird and disbelief
before making one for it
Ned felt a mix of sadness and relief
when Gilbert screaming c3 needs lasted
only lawmen as if the human imagination
regarding the fate of their friend
wasn't enough the loud popping sound
could be heard followed by something
that sounded like marbles hitting the
floor although they had a considerable
lead a shower of crimson managed to cut
some of the cable in front of them as
matter and he noticed the rolling sound
which was getting closer as the sound
pass him net saw that it wasn't marbles
rolling across the floor but seldom
metal that had been in gilded face
another horrible realization hit the
managing near the exit the blood wasn't
flashing on the wall in front of them
the creatures tendril have been trying
to stab him and was missing causing it
to smear his friends blood across the
wall
yeah I code Orwell's voice at the cave
exit eight of you mad knew full well why
or low had made the expletive when he
was also able to see the access
the blizzard was going at full for ready
will available that barking his friends
who had a lead on him didn't know or
will complain to be forced the metal rod
into the mountain ground and secure the
rope to it if you want
despite the head start
the creature had pretty much fully
caught up to its potential prey as they
reached the cave exit it shot a barb
handle that net cover but overshot again
that created the tentacle with his ice
axe the Beast let out a mighty roar and
it shut out its other tender and
response
although the problems missed the
appendage struck net and sent him off
the side of the mountain or well heard
screaming and cursing as he descended
the Rope he saw net fall right past him
now reached out if he found by sheer
skill or perhaps block caught the level
woke with his right hand or well grin at
this site but his grin quickly became
replaced with a from when he looked back
up and saw that the snow creature had
lifted the metal rod which secured the
milk of the ground after letting out of
blood curdling roar the thing through
ride and rope off the side of Mount
Everest or while tried to use his I sex
to dig into the mountain and hang on
but it wasn't quick enough while net is
still firmly placed in the Beast
appendage both them sell that operated
himself off the smell
he had been fortunate enough not to have
such a following distance or well was
not the lucky Orwell had woken nearly
every significant bone in his body and
guide upon impact with the ground that
dagger to base camp to despite the
weather conditions
eventually a separate group of
Mountaineers started med and help him
down the mountain headcover went home to
his wife and young son he'd spread tales
of a small monster which he believed was
a getty only his wife believes claimed
that would often you will be event in
his nightmares and would carry the worst
sort of guilt for the rest of his life

Former U.S. officials plan informal talks with N. Korea: Bloomberg - Duration: 1:36.
Amid escalating threats from North Korea, the U.S. is looking to hold an informal meeting
with officials from Pyongyang.
They hope the talks, which are held on a semi-regular basis, will serve as stepping stones for official
dialogue down the road.
Lee Unshin tells us more.
Bloomberg reported on Sunday that former intelligence official Joseph DeTrani is working to organize
informal talks with North Korean officials, which he hopes will eventually become a formal
dialogue between the two sides.
DeTrani was formerly Washington's special envoy for the six-party denuclearization talks,
and now serves on the advisory board of the Intelligence and National Security Alliance,
a think tank.
DeTrani says these talks involving his group usually take place about every six months.
The most recent one was held last October in Kuala Lumpur with North Korea's Vice Foreign
Minister Han Song-ryol.
DeTrani told Bloomberg his first step will be to contact the North Korean mission to
the United Nations in New York sometime between the end of this month and early April.
The hope is the talks could one day turn into a forum for Washington and Pyongyang to officially
discuss topics like the South Korea-U.S. joint military exercises, or possibly a peace treaty.
But even if the planned two-way talks take place, DeTrani said the U.S. and the UN should
continue to pursue sanctions against the North.
He called North Korea an "existential threat" to the region, and if it acquired an ICBM,
an existential threat to the United States.

So as most of you already know
I upload English-related, teaching-related content
onto this channel
They're all family friendly
And that's the way I intended it to be
Cos you know, kids might be watching
But recently I might have let loose
some swear words here and there
and I'm getting comments like
"Oh Ray is swearing!"
or "Oh I've never heard him swear"
so on and so forth
Owing to that
some people around me would start telling me
to watch my language more
that I need to set an example, yeah
So today I wanted to talk to you
about my thoughts on profanity
which is just a fancy way of saying
swear words, curse words, bad words, whatever
First things first
I do not encourage swearing but
I do swear off camera
Sooooometimes
Now before you go off at me
I believe the intent of your communication
outweighs the specific words you use
Okay, I know that may sound like
a lame excuse but, but hear me out
For example, the phrase "Oh my god"
used to be regarded as profanity
Such a common phrase
such a common saying was once frowned upon
This is because saying "Oh my god" is seen as
"using the Lord's name in vain"
which is a taboo amongst Christians
But nowadays it's really just an expression
As language adapts into our culture, our society, our norms
people just use it
because people use it
So it really just comes down to
what you mean by the words you say
While we're on this subject
I would like to share an interesting story
that happened to me back in middle school
So I studied in a Christian school
and obviously any form of cussing is banned
That is especially the case
for our grammar classes
Our grammar teacher, Mr. Mills
is a devout Christian you see
And he only has two rules in the classroom
One, you do not swear
Two, you do not use the Lord's name in vain
But he is considerate enough
to give us some cheats
So instead of shit you can say shoot
Instead of damn you can say darn
Instead of Jesus you can say geez (or jeez)
And instead of oh my god you can say oh my gosh
He made this so perfectly clear that
every time you break the rules
you have to put in 10NT dollars
into the class piggy bank
And usually by the end of the semester
we would use that money for like a pizza party or something
But I remember one time in class
as I was wiping some dust off my glasses
and then somehow I broke it into two
It came as a shock so as a reflex
I said "Oh my gooooood"
and only after I realized I had to add
the -sh at the end to make it gosh
But it's so depressing that I broke my glasses, right?
So I naturally just extended that -sh into a
shiiit
So I ended up saying
"Oh my god shit."
And I had to put in 20 into the piggy bank
So the moral of the story?
I dunno, don't break your glasses in class?
Anyways back to my point
I think that swearing is all about what you mean
If all is just in good fun
then I don't really see the harm in that
There's even a new study published in the journal
Social Psychological and Personality Science
that found people who swear more
associating with higher degrees of honesty and integrity
F*ck yeah!
Swearing is a form of self-expression
so by doing that you are
actively portraying yourself honestly
compared to those who refrain from it
Well at least that's what the study says
But on the other hand
some people do get offended by swearing
So that's also something you have to bear in mind
If you're with a group of friends
and you're used to, you know
throwing around swear words as a joke
I don't see that as too much of a problem
But if you're with someone who would
mistake your intent and get all offended
Then even if you mean no harm
it would be better if you keep it to yourself
And also, obviously, if you swear too much
people would think that you're vulgar and impolite
That was just an example
I don't really talk like that
I know some friends who would swear excessively all the time
and it can really get annoying
It's all about the timing and context
There's a time and place for everything, even swearing
So I think it's a mixed bag
There are both sides to the argument and there is no clear verdict
What do you think?
Do you think that all swear words are bad no matter what
or are you okay with people swearing?
Let me know in the comments!
Is that, is that rain?
Yeah
Shit
Don't put that in!
Ay, what do you think of the story tho?
The story is very funny!~
Oh the funny story right here!
If I may say so myself~
Ok, very funny story
不要忘記一四晚上九點回來看影片!
Thanks for watching

Classical Musicians React: BTS 'I Need You' - Duration: 13:45.
umu: okay - ah fuq -
umu: I have a question for all of you guys:
fiona: we are wondering if we should create a fandom name /hairflip/
umu: so we have three options right now:
umu: we have "Baethoven", spelled B-A-E thoven fiona: bae
umu: bae-thoven /lascivious wink/
umu: so we have "Symphony", so you would be called our dearest symphonies
umu: and we have music notes
umu: so please put in the comments, which of the three do you like henry: /snicker/
umu: and if you have another idea, put that down
umu: and if that idea gets a lot of likes, we'll look into it
umu: and so yeah - whooo!!!
umu: so today we are reacting to BTS yunyi: BTS!
leah: alright, i am taking this mask off shimon: you should just keep it on
leah: ah, it stuck. shimon: keep it on
umu: I am about to show you-
leah: oh you think my face is ugly, shimon?
shimon: yeah.
umu: we're about to start our BTS marathon
umu: BTS- athon, and we are starting off with the HYYH series
umu: which is made up of four music videos
jarod: BTS, I need you
jarod: watching in three,
kevin: two,one
leah: /video starting sfx/
davis: I still love this opening animation
davis: it's pretty cool
leah: aww the eye- *killed by loud audio*
henry: it's a flower
henry: he's so sad
jarod: keep rollin' those chords, baby
fiona: oh, I remember them
davis: when they lay out chords like that, it's less about function and more about color palette
kevin: man, ninth chords
kevin: /shivers/
kevin: hey, you can't do that to a piano /mimics synthesized crescendo/
jarod: I like it because it takes a paint brush of sound, just going:
jarod: /sound paint brush effect/
kevin: I think every chord has been a seventh chord
fiona: what happened to the chords?
kevin: that's cool
henry: I don't know.. it was just like weird chromatic motion
henry: where I didn't expect it
henry: and then it was like weird - I don't know
henry: cash me ousside how bow dat
leah: aw
lindsey: that is also why I started
leah: he's sad
kevin: oh! In the mood for love
leah: like the wind chimes - /wind chime sfx/
kevin: hua yang nian hua
yunyi: ok. thank you for translating
kevin: there's a film-
davis: this is way different from their nice like-
lindsey: yeah, this is totally different from the BTS stuff we've heard before too, I feel like
jarod: I like how there isn't really a drum beat, but yet you can feel it
henry: it's like, he has multiple personality disorder
jarod: a little high hat
-beatboxing-
fiona: I like that wOAP
peyton: it sounds like it's kind of muffled, but it's not like I'm gong to give you it all right now
henry: -gasp- don't do it!
hugo: I like their composition, just like their overall production
henry: you gon' die. oh-no
kevin: oh yunyi: ohh kevin: ohh.
yunyi: this is really hype music
fiona: it's hype, it's hype, it's building...
fiona: and drop
hugo: sorry, I'm done - I just had to dance
peyton: yeah, it's kind of got a dubstep feel in the back
henry: the renegades of forgotten love
fiona: do you hear in the background /demonstrates sound/
henry: ooh! nice falsetto
fiona: /still demonstrates/
yunyi: you know this totally looks like it should be a-
yunyi: more chill song, according to music video
yunyi: but it's so hype kevin: yeah, with the color palettes
davis: the music going on underneath right now - lindsey: but it's not really chords though
gwen: more fighting?
gwen: see that looks so much fun
davis: no, but it all fits together really nicely
lindsey: are they in fu**ing chipotle?
gwen: ...like SO much fun
henry: /whispers/ bromance
gwen: I wish I had friends
henry: /whispers/ bromance
yunyi: guy with the voice, guy with the rap
yunyi: ah, so good
hugo: oh. wait
henry: c'mon
kevin: man, so much attitude, just rapping
lindsey: i thought he had a cigarette in his mouth and he just shoved it down his throat
lindsey: but it was a lollipop
davis: that would be real
shimon: oh, bridges aren't a good sign
jarod: he means business
henry: "I hate this can"
jarod and peyton: ohh...
henry: oh, what just happened
leah: he's sad though
kevin: oh geez
shimon: really?! :O
hugo: i wasn't sure whether he was yawning or crying
gwen: I think he was screeching
gwen: oh, oh, oh. on-coming traffic, buddy
leah: I don't appreciate your sarcasm
yunyi: it was kind of cool, but also awful
yunyi: like him beating up is perfectly synced with the beat of the musc
davis: oh that was cool with the d'water - lindsey: d'water
davis: and the sound effects
kevin: canted frame
henry: wait, what?
kevin: or dutch angle
fiona: the flower was his heart that he set on fire earlier
henry: what?
kevin: ooh. yunyi: ooh. okay
kevin: uh-oh
gwen: car!
peyton: like you'd think - Oh!
henry: what?
yunyi: uhh??
henry: oh!
fiona: /car hitting noise/
henry: what?
fiona: hood
henry: I'm so thoroughly confused - what the?
fiona: I don't like milky bathtubs - that's gross
yunyi: this is really dark, but the music is so bright
gwen: now, is he an angel?
fiona: this is a really modern, synth-y sound
fiona: used in a lot of music nowadays
peyton: oh wow - Oh wow!
gwen: oh now he's gone
davis: oh no
peyton: woah
peyton: alright, alright, I get it you need -
davis: what? lindsey: oh my god!
davis: so much blood!
umu: that's his father
henry: what? mind blown
fiona: wait, why did he kill him
davis: I didn't even notice it, until you said it and then I immediately saw it
umu: /laughs maniacally/
henry: because he was abusive!
hugo: oh, f**k!
henry: is this just-
henry: complicated euphemisms for killing onself?
gwen: oh (x3)
gwen: oh, now the mattress is on fire
hugo: oh, and then he threw-
gwen: wait, his lollipop was a cigarette?
hugo: no, it's just a lollipop-
gwen: he dropped it and it was a cigarette
peyton: wow, this got a lot of layers
lindsey: yeah, I feel like there is honestly not that much
lindsey: interesting stuff going on like musically or melodically
davis: no, lindsey: but it works though
lindsey: cuz the back beat is so...like- it like draws you in so much
davis: there is a lot that can be said about making tasteful beats
henry: yes
gwen: that's the picture of the place I want to go
davis: and this is one of those tasteful beats lindsey: it's like three-two-one-one
peyton: /beatboxing noises/
henry: should I close it? umu: if you are done
gwen: now I think they all represent different possibly abused substances
hugo: I'm gonna stay silent for now
hugo: because if I try to talk, then I'll get interrupted
jarod: yeah, no, that was uhh
jarod: that was messed up
peyton: that just took a turn
jarod: it's like something like "I need you girl"
jarod: but I guess he needs a therapist?
jarod: because that dude has problems. like, stab the kid.
peyton: like he's mine!
umu: that was his brother and his sister that he was protecting
umu: he had an abusive, drinking father
umu: and he was killing his father to protect his sister
peyton: see, that didn't even cross my mind
umu: can you tell any story line from that?
umu: okay what do you think?
shimon: well, - debussy - uhm
leah: you need to haircut shimon: yeah, thank you.
jarod: brutal
jarod: earlier I said, "dude you're supposed to break the bottle"
jarod: and then he actually did
jarod: and then proceed to shank
umu: you shouldn't have said that, jarod
jarod: I feel like I just coached this guy on murder
shimon: well, I mean, there were a lot of -
shimon: -suicidal innuendoes
jarod: see, that is such a brutal way to kill somebody
jarod: because, it's not like a gun where you stand there and point,
jarod: and then you pull a trigger and then, "oh shoot".
jarod: but he stabbed the-
shimon: there were a lot of objects in a lot of places and a lot of things that correlate to that
peyton: yeah, you could feel the knife
jarod: like, he created his knife: he got a blunt bottle, broke it, and stabbed him with the shards
umu: there are seven members. except one of them didn't have suicidal scenes connected to him
umu: and so he is the oldest. his name is jin
umu: and he is the one with the flower petals
umu: did you see the guy with the flower petals?
umu: so there are six flower petals
umu: and he set six flower petals on fire and then,
umu: and they were projected on his heart, and that made people think like, all the boys are dead
umu: did they all commit suicide and he is the only one alive remembering them?
shimon: woaah umu: or are they not even real?
jarod: that's essentially worse than a knife killing somebody
peyton: yes, because it is less clean, you know?
jarod: yeah, it is still vicious with the intent
jarod: but dude, that guy. he really went for it
jarod: homerun
yunyi: i think the dude basically
yunyi: the guy who killed the other guy, umu: mmhm, tae, who killed his father
yunyi: killed his father? umu: yeah, that was his father
kevin: what? umu: he was abusing his sister
kevin: ohhh
kevin: he looks really young
jarod: guys, we aren't violent people, I promise you.
umu: you spent thirty minutes explaining the stabbing scene!
jarod: hey, it was really powerful okay. and we respect that - and poetic
peyton: yeah, and sometimes you just gatta let it out man,
yunyi: that changes things up kevin: I think it's about addiction
kevin: because the lollipop turned into a cigarette
yunyi: I feel like i need to watch this again
umu: well, do you have any theories based on that?
jarod: I'm good, I promise
jarod: so theories, yeah
lindsey: yeah, they are beating the fu**ing crap outta this dude. that's my whole theory
henry: I thought it was multiple personality disorder
henry: like some crazy sh*t like that, I don't know
umu: okay, that was your theory from this video
henry: that was my theory for like 90 seconds
yunyi: my original theory was that the guy who was after the girl,
yunyi: had a gay thing going on with the first guy
yunyi: but he had to kill that guy who was after the girl
yunyi: because he realized that he was a bad person
yunyi: so he had to kill him, but he was like, "oh no, I'm killing you"
yunyi: because you were an awful person, but I also have a gay thing for you
yunyi: I'm just trying to make it gay
davis: so my theory about what's going on:
davis: I think that none of this is really happening, it's all happening inside of his head
davis: because he feels so isolated, and he feels so alone
umu: which one?
davis: kook-he right? lindsey: no
lindsey: yeah
davis: I think a part of it, well, like his part,
davis: but then, I was confused, was that a different person who was walking on the bridge?
umu: yeah, that was jae-ho
davis: but there were two people walking on the bridge
umu: at the beginning it was tae, because he was by himself, he was lonely.
umu: and the second one was jae-ho because he took all those pills and he collapsed
kevin: this is the k-pop version of Requiem for a Dream
kevin: which is a movie about addiction
kevin: if you really want to get depressed, watch requiem for a dream
davis: I feel like all of these things are going to lead them to, like, one thing
davis: like together, like these paths, there are going to lead to something
davis: and I am not sure what it's gonna be
davis: I dont even have an educated guess
davis: but I think like,
davis: all of these scenarios are leading them to something
davis: and they don't realize they are going to the same place as those people too,
davis: and they are going to show up and be like, "what now"?
lindsey: and I kind of agree with that because all them are walking on their own and are so lonely
lindsey: and in the end, they will all find each other and realized there are people dealing with the same thing
umu: well you did see those scenes in there
lindsey: obviously all of those things are not happening at the same time, because they might be at two different places at once
davis: -flashbacks and flash forwards-
lindsey: either the scenes they are shown all together are after they meet up with each other or-
lindsey: or we are going to start seeing in the scenes where they are together
lindsey: they are going to start drifting apart, and drifting apart and it leads to this part where they are all alone
lindsey: but I don't know which order it's going to go in
kevin: it didn't feel "there" enough,
I was expecting more
kevin: just like the graphicness
umu: so you were expecting worse
umu: that was rated pg-19. yunyi: that was pretty bad (x2)
umu: made me depressed for a week
kevin: I also expected more from the music
kevin: musically it's,
kevin: the beginning is the best part yunyi: it's pretty standard
kevin: and it didn't feel connected to the rest of the song
fiona: it's not real instruments but it's super cool
fiona: and awesome still
fiona: this one is very poppy
henry: that's the thing
fiona: it's enjoyable, it's sounds like normal music I hear everyday
fiona: so it's not like "woah", it's like "ah" henry: exactly
henry: the music video was so intense, I was like "hm!"
henry: because I had no clue what was going on
shimon: I really like the rapping in that one
leah: it was very like *sings*
leah: and there was like a beat
leah: and it would do it again
leah: so you had the emotional part of it, but then the rough part of it
fiona: I liked all the, extra, electronic sounds
umu: the samples?
fiona: yeah, because I am really into the alternative music
fiona: and they use that, and I think it's cool
umu: we were wondering if we should start up a fandom name for - uhh, wait
umu: we were wondering if we should start up- if we should create
yunyi: can you imagine slominski analyzing reacting to kpop?
kevin: hmm! yunyi: hmmm.
yunyi: ah! rule of the octave
yunyi: glad to see it's still relevant today
yunyi: also for the record, none of them slept well this time
kevin: did he sleep well?

Modelo Visionary x Ennead Architects - Duration: 5:30.
The first idea that we have is almost never the one that we build.
My name is Richard Olcott, I am a design Partner at Ennead.
The thing that's wonderful about our design culture is that
there is no one single voice.
There's no agenda.
There is no formula.
There are a number of very strong designers here
who have different points of view, but somehow
share a collective attitude towards architecture.
My name is Don Weinreich.
I'm a Partner at Ennead Architects
and I'm in charge of computation and information technology
as well as running projects.
The design culture here is very vibrant and exciting.
What I love about it
is actually its dynamism.
There are a lot of collaborations that go on.
Everybody has to work together
in order to
pull off the complexity of the projects that we have.
I think there's nothing more important
in dialogue with our clients
We try very hard to be good listeners,
to understand what their aspirations are
what their needs are
and to try and design a place
that doesn't overshoot some of those needs,
but at the same time we can reach as high as possible.
Technology actually plays a big part
in how we develop a concept,
explain it to ourselves initially and explore it.
Through that we're able to take it to the client.
So, where it's really most valuable is
helping a client see with an architect's eyes.
Well before, we really had to anticipate
what the client was most interested in
and spend a lot of time delineating
the issues that we thought were important.
It was either the prescribed fly-through,
the animation would run,
then it would end. That was it.
You could run it again, but you couldn't really
deviate from that.
The first time I saw Modelo,
the thing that struck me the most about it was
it just kind of makes you feel happy when you use it.
It's very kind of bouncy and lively,
and so many other programs are very tedious to navigate.
This just feels like
it was come on in and play.
I think Modelo is one of the best tools
that allows us to
very quickly become immersed in the design
and feel what that space is.
And the client would be able to explore
that design at their own pace,
at their own leisure.
That was one of the most revolutionary things
that I noticed when I started using Modelo.
We actually,
I know we have been very early adopters,
but we actually took it to one of our very first meetings
actually to the interview we had for
a project at Stanford University.
We were able to just project a model on the wall
and they were able to say,
"can we go into that room or that room?"
We were able to
literally drive around inside of a model.
I think it's really helped us
be able to make decisions quicker.
I can immediately see in 3-dimensions
what something will look like
in a really easy way.
And then the ability then to comment on it
or have to go back to the office to look at it.
People like me tend to spend a lot of time on the road.
When I'm on the road,
and I have my iPad
I can literally be in a car
looking at a model that someone has just sent me,
rolling it around,
drawing on it,
commenting on it,
sending it back
so that in real-time.
It's just incredibly great and immediate in that way.
There are certain design leads in the office
that refuse to look at a Rhino or a Revit model anymore.
They're only going to look at a Modelo model
and that's because it's just really fast
and really easy to navigate through it.
I would also say
that it's an extremely good way
for you to understand your own designs
because I find,
if I am putting together a model,
even it's just for myself,
I'm going to throw it into Modelo
to visualize it.
I'm not going to look at it in a Rhino,
I'm not going to look at it in a Revit.
It's just so much easier for you to
understand your entire design
in all of its dimensions.
If you think about staircase
in a design process,
we are trying to (go) move forward.
You can take the stairs, right?
You can get to the next level,
but it will take some time.
Or you can take the elevator,
it will get you there a little bit faster.
And with Modelo,
I feel like I have a jetpack!
One of the great gifts
that Modelo has given us is
we can spend much less time
worrying about and planning presentations,
and much more time spent on design.
The gift of time,
it all goes back to design.
So, it allows us to be better designers.
Modelo is a jetpack to supercharge your design process.

Learn how to debunk UFO videos with this little SECRET no hoaxer can withstand - Duration: 9:17.
Do you want to know how to debunk a UFO video very easily, discover my secret, keep watching?
In the next minute I'm through with you why people publish hoax UFO videos, why debunk
does not have to be difficult, why it is important that you know this, I explain in this video
what not to do and I do a short training, and at the end of this video you know how
it works.
Hi, I'm Heathcliff and this is Lions Ground.
I hope you have a fantastic day.
Before you go accusing people as a hoaxer, not everyone is a hoaxer.
Due to lack of information, misled by other sources, the person in question could be deceived,
then we talk about misinformation: Meaning posting content that is false or inaccurate
without having the intention to deceive people.
People like you can inform and correct that person.
Then you have the second type of people who post deliberately false or inaccurate information
pure for money or political motives.
In the world of hoaxing UFO, they want one thing and that is money.
Why is this so important?
I do not know what your age is, but you might not think of the future with children.
But you want your child has a future of pure clean information.
I'll tell you what impact disinformation really has.
My girlfriend came in contact with someone who is a fan of a hoaxer(I think you know
who) for her this was the very very first time she came in contact with someone I'm
dealing with every day.
She's not really interested in this nonsense.
However, this happened last week on Twitter.
She was so shocked how stupid they are, (sorry, I can not talk about others that way, but
it is what it is).
She showed me how aggressive the fan react on criticism about the hoaxer's content.
How such a person responds to facts is like a devil being sprinkled with holy water.
Such a person is committed to lies and gives lies more value than the truth.
Truth does not count anymore.
My opinion, Such a person is not even allowed to go back into society but has to go back
to 1st-grade school.
I said to my girlfriend: "Welcome to my world".
This is how the brains work: You click on a video which claimed it's about a UFO.
A few people are illuminated and don't fall for it, but 8 out of 10 people are actually
already programmed the moment they watch the video.
Here's the problem, the brains have already received information that it's about a UFO
because the title says it because the thumbnail shows it, therefore, you watch the video in
a way you "expect" the UFO.
The moment the UFO appears on the screen the brains is satisfied.
Fixed, locked and there is no room for anything else and certainly not criticism because that
would make that person uncomfortable.
You want to investigate a video.
Let me immediately explain what you not should do.
"THINK" yes, stop "thinking".
- Disconnect your thoughts from your eyes.
This requires training, a good way to train yourself is when you're outside.
Describe the things you see in details only: Such as shape, color, size.
I think you maybe forget but you have learned Something at kindergarten, you have to push
the right shape through the right hole.
So you get older, the world around you and information get advanced.
Your brains get contaminated with information or information that is placed incorrectly
in your library.
You forget the basic things, and it is precisely the little things that make a big difference.
So save the video on your hard drive and take a step back, your thoughts is now your enemy
and may lead your research on the wrong path and the fact is, you are no longer investigating
evidence but you are looking for facts to proof your theory.
Also called a biased investigation.
Let do together a simple to try, remember, don't use your thoughts only your eyes (regardless
of what you see).
The problem of not being young anymore is the first thing your brains register by seeing
this photo is a tennis ball.
So, how do I investigate this?
I grab a pen and paper and I write down everything my eyes sees:
- Yellow ball - Yellow ball does not move
- Yellow ball does not move and is on a white line
- Greenfield - Shadow
- Light What I have done is literally, I registered
all the details.
Details is very important in your investigation.
Later in your investigation you understand why this is so important, because you will
need it.
The claim of the video is "Tennis match sabotaged light fell out at the moment the tennis ball
went over baseline".
Take the picture of the yellow ball and read out loud what you wrote:
- Yellow ball - Yellow ball does not move
- Yellow ball does not move on a white line - Green field
- Shadow - Light
Now, use your notes to describe the scenario in detail (note not use your thoughts).
The yellow ball does not move on a white line, shadow is present so there is a light source
present too.
Voila, the facts has spoken "the claim is false" The answer is no, the scenario does
not fit the actual situation.
Debunked!
Now you must give the fact a voice by expressing this correctly, research is needed to support
the facts, I have no knowledge about tennis so I research the basis of the rules, so:
The claim is false because "the tennis ball is on the baseline, this counts as within
the line.
There is a light source needed to create the shadow of the tennis ball as present in front
of the tennis.
The claim that there was no light at that time is false.
" This is the basics how I practice my profession.
You can apply this basic technique on almost everything, not just UFOs.
Simplicity is so powerful that no misinformation or hoaxer can withstand.
Remember, it's not about how you start but how you finish the investigation.
Well, now I have an assignment for you.
In the video description I have a link to a UFO case.

Funny Jokes #55 - HOW DID THE FLORIST DIFFUSE THE BUSINESSMAN'S ANGER? - Jokes for kids - Duration: 1:09.
HOW DID THE FLORIST DIFFUSE THE BUSINESSMAN'S ANGER?
A new business was opening and one of the owner's friends wanted to send flowers for
the occasion.
They arrived at the new business site and the owner read the card.
It said, "Rest in Peace."
The owner was angry and called the florist to complain.
He let the florist know in no uncertain terms how angry he was about the obvious mistake.
The florist wisely diffused the man's anger when she calmly said,
"Sir, I'm really sorry for the mistake, but just imagine this... somewhere there is a
funeral taking place today, and they have flowers with a note saying,
"Congratulations on your new location!"
