Between the Scenes - Thanks for the Civics Lesson, President Trump: The Daily Show - Uncensored - Duration: 1:19.

- That's the one exciting thing about Donald Trump,

is that we're all learning about the country with him.

(audience laughs)

Like this is the first time, like can I tell you,

at the end of Donald Trump's presidency, we will all

be as qualified to be president as he will.

(audience laughs)

We will all have the same training, the same knowledge,

the same experience, all of that shit!

I'm like Emoluments Clause, ah divestment of business like,

I'm just, I'm in the mix now, I'm just like you know?

'Cause like Americans, 'cause beforehand let's be honest,

Americans were like a little, you know, a little apathetic

about everything.

Americans were like yeah, our president will handle that.

It's okay, it's okay.

You know, it's like Obama was driving the bus,

and everyone's like yeah he's a good driver, I trust him,

I trust him, and then like Donald Trump's like,

"All aboard."

(audience laughs)

And now everyone's like okay how do the brakes work?

How do the brakes work?

(audience laughs)

Okay study people!

He's gonna kill us!

Should I Replace My Carbon Frame? | Ask GCN Anything Cycling - Duration: 14:18.

- Hello and welcome to Ask GCN Anything.

You get to ask us anything

and we will do our best to answer it.

And some of you, some of you really do ask us anything

like this person EskimoKwin who sent this in via Twitter.

And they have said,

is it just me or does it look like this person

is holding another tiny person in their hand?

This was at 9.15 on the GCN Show, episode 217.

And no, it's not just you,

that is definitely a person holding a tiny human being.

That is a brilliant spot.

I can't believe that.

Anyway, moving swiftly on.

We have had plenty of cycling-themed questions

as well this week, like these two first up

regarding carbon frames.

I'll start with this one from Mathieu Lizotte

who has asked,

how can I know when the lifetime of my carbon frame is over?

And what is the consequence of riding

with an older carbon frame if there are no visual flaws?

Well, that's quite a tricky question to answer actually.

On paper, carbon doesn't degrade,

so your carbon frame could, in theory,

last for a lifetime.

However, we do know that sometimes a carbon frame

could be damaged and yet not really show it on the surface.

But I think the fair assessment is

if you haven't had any crashes or any big knocks,

your carbon frame is probably gonna be absolutely fine.

The reason people seem to be quite suspicious

of carbon is that it's had a bit of a bad press

and unfairly so as well.

So, you'll probably should be able

to take confidence in your carbon frame,

just as much as you would

in any other frame material to be fair.

Right, and then the next carbon question

is this one from Michael McDowell

who sent it in on Twitter as well.

Is water trapped inside a high-end carbon road frame

a major problem?

There are no drain holes.

Will corrosion occur?

Well, the good news is no corrosion will occur

on your carbon frame because carbon obviously

doesn't corrode.

So, from that respect it's absolutely fine.

Unfortunately, the lowest point on a frame

is your bottom bracket,

so you may well find that the bottom bracket itself

could corrode if you get loads of water in there.

So, the simple answer and solution

to a problem is to periodically take your seat post out,

tip your frame upside down

and let any water drain out.

Because if you've got a high-end carbon frame

you don't want to be adding any grammes of water to it.

Next up we've got this question from Chris Harris

who said that he someone on Strava doing fasted trained.

What is it?

Have you used it before?

Well, fasted training is effectively going for a bike ride

without having had any breakfast before.

So, you are effectively training in a fasted state.

And yes, I have used it

a reasonable amount actually when I was full time

but I don't do it anymore

'cause it's not perhaps the most fun way

of going for a bike ride.

You need to keep your intensity levels quite low

but can be really, really effective.

But if you wanna know more on this subject,

then the video that's currently playing behind me

is called High Carb Versus Low Carb,

What is the Most Effective Way to Train?

And actually it's one

of the most controversial of GCN videos of all time.

Enjoy and then spend a bit of time

reading through the 1,200 comments below it.

- Now, when you're exercising on a low carb diet,

your body doesn't just burn the carbs,

it actually can burn protein as well as fat.

- Right, now the dust has settled

following the controversial nutrition video,

we're going to move on to another very serious question

actually sent in by Crustinho99,

who says that when he goes riding, his penis goes numb.

He said he's changed his saddle twice already

but what could the problem be?

Is it positioning, is it the wrong bib shorts?

Well, I think you can leave aside bib shorts.

That's not gonna affect it.

I think you're absolutely bob on

when you talk about your positioning

because having the wrong saddle height

could put a bit too much pressure on the wrong places,

so to speak,

so if your saddle is too high particularly

but actually probably a much more important

is the reach to your handlebars

because that governs how far forward you lean

and so, if you've got to lean too far forward,

then your hips will rotate

and that will obviously really load up the pressure

on your perineum

which is probably the place that's suffering.

And so, the question that you wanna ask yourself

is are you reaching too far?

And so, this video just playing in the background

could well help you with that decision.

So, I'll leave you to watch that video

and then click through to it.

- If you get that reach wrong,

over that amount of time

it can add up to discomfit

and at worse, pain and injuries.

- Okay, next question comes from Robert Lindley

who says he's a 73-year-old cyclist

living in the pretty hilly and pretty windy

South Pennines of Yorkshire.

No arguments there, definitely hilly

and definitely quite windy.

He says he gets out about three times a week

doing approximately 140 kilometres in total

but he seems to have issues holding onto muscle mass

and therefore fitness.

Any advice?

Well, I'm certainly not a qualified coach in this matter

but there is one thing that I suggest that you could try,

having read about it in a few different places,

and that is actually doing resistance training.

So, literally going to the gym and lifting weights.

Now, I'm not suggesting that you go there

and just start picking up dumbbells and stuff.

It needs to be done in a really safe and correct way

but by all accounts, I see everyone struggles

to hold onto muscle mass when they get beyond a certain age

and so going to the gym actually really, really helps

your body hold onto that

and therefore, it can improve your quality of life

in other areas, such as riding your bike.

So, give that a go but like I said,

make sure you do it in a really safe, controlled way

and consult an expert on it.

Okay, next question.

We've got this one from Ramses Moya

who has said that often they ride on their own

and love to stop for a coffee along the ride

but while you're on your own,

do you lock your bike,

do you carry a lock when you're riding?

Now, that's a tricky question.

A bit depends on where you ride,

the cafe that you stop at

and how long you're gonna have to leave your bike for.

No, I personally don't stop, I don't carry a lock rather

but then I don't stop all that often when I'm on my own.

But there is a little technique

that you can use when you're desperate

to stop for a coffee.

It's in this video right now,

so I suggest you take a look at it

and then have a go

but always you gotta keep your fingers crossed

'cause it's not fail safe.

- Now, for most thieves, they not going to be noticing

if they're undone

and it's gonna make it pretty hard

for them to ride off on your bike

when they come along to try and nick it.

(upbeat music)

- Okay, quick-fire questions now,

the point in this video where we answer questions

at exactly the same speed

but pretend we're going faster.

First of all, we got this from Adam Golfatso

sent in on Twitter.

He is gonna try Everesting this summer.

Have we got any tips on pacing

for 100 reps of a climb if he doesn't have a power metre?

Well, the first tip I think actually

would be to try and get yourself a heart rate monitor.

In terms of cost, it's just a fraction of the price

of a power metre but it can do a very similar job

and that it stops you from trying too hard

'cause if you have a look at your heart rate

on your handlebars or on your head unit

or whatever, then it will effectively mean

you have like a rev limiter,

so you simply stop yourself from trying too hard.

But if you don't have a heart rate monitor,

the thing to do is just to make sure

in the back of your mind you're always thinking

about going as slowly as possible

'cause you can always get faster as the day goes on

but you don't want to do it the other way round.

Okay, next up we got this from Nyall Horner.

How do I stop bouncing on the rollers

when I'm going flat out?

And that is really tricky

and it's part of the reason why rollers

are so good for one thing in particular

and that is teaching you to pedal really smoothly.

So, I'd suggest if you wanna stop bouncing,

is to actually work up to it quite slowly

and just concentrate on pedalling really smoothly,

so pulling up on the pedal stroke

and scraping through the bottom.

Now, it won't necessarily make you faster

out in the open road

because the jury is very much still out

on whether or not pulling up

as well as pushing down on the pedals helps

but it will certainly help stop you bouncing on the rollers.

So, why don't you give that a try.

Okay, EatRideGrow has asked

what are the benefits of motor-pacing?

So motor-pacing is effectively where you train

while sitting in the slipstream of a motorbike or a car

and so what it means is that instead of training

at 32 kilometres per hour,

you can train at 50 kilometres per hour.

And therein likes its secret

because actually it's used by a lot of pros

who perhaps might not have any races coming up

but they still need to train to be race ready.

And so it effectively simulates being in a race,

by riding around at 50 kilometres an hour,

and the reason that's important

is because actually pedalling on faster speeds,

or at faster speeds, feels very different

and actually has a different training effect

to pedalling at slower speeds,

even if the power output is the same.

So that is why they do it.

It won't necessarily make you a fitter cyclist,

it just conditions you for riding at faster speeds

but you also gotta be really careful

because motor-pacing is illegal in most places I suspect,

so if you are gonna do it,

make sure you do it on a closed circuit.

We certainly couldn't advocate doing it

out on the open roads.

Next we got a question from Liam Sangaku

who's asked if we can make a video

explaining the different types of body composition

that make the best cyclists.

It's a really great idea actually

and we will get on to that.

But the short answer is,

and the great thing about cycling,

is there are loads of different types of bodies

that make great cyclists.

You just have to look

at the men's pro peloton, for example.

You see a rider like Tom Boonen

who is really tall

versus a rider like Caleb Ewan who is quite short

and then on the GC side you've got Chris Froome

who is tall and incredibly skinny

and his chief arch nemesis

it was Nairo Quintana

who is much shorter and yet looks a little bit more muscled

and all of those riders are fantastic

and they're absolute top of their game.

So, like I said, the great thing about cycling

is that everyone has a good chance of doing it.

The only thing they have in common

is they're all pretty lean.

Okay, next up Ewan Chadwell

has asked effectively enough questions

to do an entire Ask GCN Anything on there.

Do teams carry around race leader's jersey with them?

No, they don't actually.

The races themselves provide the jerseys.

What the teams have is like a transfer

that the race organisers can then iron onto the jerseys

which makes it look like

they've got their sponsors on there already.

That's a kind of a cool tip.

Do track sprinters change bikes between rounds

so they can change tactics?

No, I don't think they do

because at the end of the day,

it's all about top speed really for those guys,

so they probably use the same gearing most of the time.

Is it better for my bike to leave it in a certain gear

when I'm not riding it?

No, it doesn't matter which is good news.

Do some riders race with their phones

for apps like Strava?

No, no one will race with a phone in their pocket,

I don't think.

Should sprint stages be shorter to give breakaway

a bit of chance of staying away for longer,

making it more exciting?

No, the funny thing about pro racing

is that pretty much no matter how short

or long the stage, the pro peloton

will always be able to gauge the catch,

well, at least they will probably 49 times out of 50 maybe.

Okay, you and I are gonna leave you

at the rest of your questions

'cause, like I say, that's whole episode in itself.

And then move on to this last one

from Nikola Martic who said,

what to eat during long rides

if I'm avoiding refined sugar?

Well, your suggestion here of bananas,

that's a great shout, dried fruit

but also look at savoury stuff as well,

like sandwiches with ham and cheese in,

that's still a staple in the pro peloton

and actually eating just fruit

is probably not the best thing to do

because I think the jury's definitely decided

that fructose is probably not the best way

to fuel for your ride.

Right, we're onto our last few questions now, I'm afraid.

This one from @WobyOne on Twitter.

They've asked what's the best way of preventing punctures

when out riding mixed trails on a cyclo-cross bike.

#pumpfail and #co2fail.

That's bad luck, I'm not gonna lie.

I'm gonna throw to you a video now

that we made quite a long time ago

but it's still relevant, okay

because I always use tubeless tyres

when I'm on my cyclo-cross bike

and therefore tubeless wheels as well.

But back in the day,

I actually made non-tubeless tyres

work with non-tubeless wheels

and we made a video about it.

And you may find that you struggle to do it

but in terms of puncture distance,

I can't recommend it enough.

Tubeless for cyclo-cross makes total sense.

You effectively remove the inner tube,

so that you got no chance of pinch puncturing

and then you fill your tyre with a bit of sealant,

so that if you get a little thorn puncture

or something like that,

then the sealant will fill that hole whilst you're riding.

It's not 100% fail safe

but it certainly cuts down the amount of punctures

that I get, so have a look.

Right, tighten the valve down firmly.

Give the wheel a good spin

to make sure that the sealant is spread evenly

and then it's just a case of trying to pump it up.

Right, I'm gonna leave Ask GCN Anything

with a question actually for you all

to help answer because Zach Sigouin

has sent in this and we couldn't exactly

work out what to say.

He has said, if you have two bikes of equal value

that you love equally and they have

very similar components and fit,

how do you decide which one to sell

if you have to get rid of one?

That's just brutal.

That is a horrible situation to find yourself in

and I do sympathise with you a great deal, Zach.

And actually, like I said,

I don't know which one you should sell.

Perhaps the one that's got the most life left in it?

The one that has the chain in the best condition

and the gears and the brake cables?

I don't know, which is why I want you lot

to try and help.

Can you help Zach decide which bike to sell?

Arg, like I say, I really feel sorry for you, Zach.

Right, now I am gonna leave Ask GCN Anything there.

If you have anything that you want to know

about cycling or in fact, anything at all

that we may be able to help you with,

then do get involved in the comments section down below.

The next thing to say is to make sure

that you subscribe to GCN.

If you haven't done it already, it's very simple

and it is completely free, just click on the globe.

And then, if you are after more up-to-date GCN content,

then we've got two very good videos

that came out just this week.

Firstly, how to train for short Gran Fondos and sportives.

That video is just up there.

Or another philosophical question actually,

perhaps not quite as severe as Zach's

but saddlebag versus jersey pocket,

which is the best way to carry your riding essentials?

That one is just down there.

Wrestlemania 33 Plans Still Not Finalized! MAJOR TNA Returns! | WrestleTalk News Mar. 2017 - Duration: 4:17.

Hello and welcome to the WrestleTalk News!

I'm Oli Davis, and I'll be replying to as many comments on this video as I can.

Last night saw the second episode of TNA Impact Wrestling under the new creative direction

of Jeff Jarrett.

As their YouTube video revealed earlier this week, the show had Alberto El Patron relinquishing

his newly won World Heavyweight Championship back to Bobby Lashley.

Vacant demands justice!

The show also saw the big return of LAX!

The former-TNA faction, not the Los Angeles-based airport.

Original founders Konnan - who had the brilliant line "we're serious, like a late period"

- and Homicide returned in the episode's main event segment, bringing with them new

members Diamante, Angel Ortiz and Mike Draztik.

They took out Decay to position themselves at the top of the Tag Team Championship picture.

The titles are currently up for grabs, being taken off of previous champions the Broken

Hardys when they failed to resign with the company.

Vacant receives justice!

The viewership figures for this week's Raw and Smackdown episodes are in, with Monday

night having practically no change at 3.23 million average, and Smackdown dropping over

100,000 viewers from last week to a 2.63 million average.

I think we all know the answer to these disappointing Road-to-Wrestlemania season numbers: no Rusev.

The latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter have confirmed that Rusev, after requiring the

procedure for some time, underwent shoulder surgery on the 9th March - just several days

after his WWE Fastlane match against the Big Show.

This is why that match was so one-sided, and why his team with Jinder Mahal broken up so

suddenly.

He's scheduled to be out of action for two months, meaning he'll miss the ultimate

thrill-ride Wrestlemania 33.

Following Titus O'Neil's similar squash loss to the Big Show on this week's Raw,

Rusev tweeted: Maybe @TitusONeilWWE needs surgery as well!

In the meantime, Lana will be heading to the Performance Center to wrestle on NXT shows.

Today's WrestleTalk Patreon shout outs go to Seminole Gamer, Joshua CavanARRRRGGH! and

The Platinum Patriot.

Despite only being two weeks away, WWE are still going back and forth over one of the

feature matches at Wrestlemania 33 - who will fight for Raw's Women's Championship.

The original plan, dating back to January this year, was for a Fatal Four Way between

Sasha Banks, Bayley, Charlotte and Nia Jax.

Back then, Charlotte was the champion.

The four way would have been a way to keep her undefeated pay-per-view streak alive while

giving Bayley the big Wrestlemania moment title win.

Charlotte wouldn't have to be pinned to lose it.

A lot's changed since then, with WWE giving Bayley that big Wrestlemania moment title

win on an episode of Raw, and giving Charlotte her first pay-per-view defeat at WWE Fastlane.

Also, Sasha defeated Jax on that show, suggesting Nia was no longer in Mania's four-way match.

The current Wrestlemania match is Bayley vs Charlotte vs Banks, but according to the Wrestling

Observer Newsletter, "both Dana Brooke and Nia Jax at different times were talked about

or slated to be in the match...It's changed many times."

That's possibly why this week's Raw had Nia Jax beat up Bayley and Dana Brooke stand-up

to Charlotte - laying the groundwork for either of them to be added to the Wrestlemania match

last-minute.

One thing WWE has definitely decided, though, is who will be inducting Kurt Angle into this

year's Hall of Fame, with their website announcing that John Cena will do the honours.

Angle was Cena's very first opponent in WWE, losing a hard-fought battle to Kurt on

the June 27th, 2002 episode of Smackdown.

That weekend will reportedly have Cena's last WWE appearance for a while, though, as

he's "done" with the company after Wrestlemania, and find out the real reason why Big Show

vs Shaq is no longer happening at WWE's biggest show of the year by clicking the videos

to the left, and subscribe.

I've been Oli Davis, and that was wrestling.

Diablo 3 2.5 Barbarian Build: Leapquake GR 97+ - Duration: 10:04.

hey folks this is rhykker with a diablo

3 patch 2.5 season 10 barbarian build

guide thanks to a 2.5 buff to the seismic

slam skill the leap quake barbarian has

been indirectly buffed in season 10

it'll now be basically in line with the

top barbarian bills maybe just one great

riff level behind it's a bill that's

great for greater risk pushing and can

be modified for speed farming as well in

this video we'll go over the skills and

the gear that you need to rock this

build a leap quake barbarian combines

leap and earthquake using the mic of the

earth set it's basically about jumping

around as much as possible causing

earthquakes and avalanches everywhere

that you've land for this bills you need

to equip the full six pieces of the

might of the earth set the true piece

bonus reduces the cooldown on earthquake

and leaf every time you spend fury the

four piece bonus causes an earthquake

everywhere that you land with leap and

it gives leaf a free room and a six

piece bonus super buffs the damage of

earthquake leap and seismic slam of

course I'm just mentioning the things

that are relevant to this particular

build so we're going to want to combine

this with some loot socks in our cube

this allows us to cast leap three times

in a row before the cooldown certs very

important and I wouldn't run this

without the loot socks for our weapon

will want the blade of the tribes this

gives us a big damage buff to our

earthquake damage as a primary property

you can roll with up to two hundred

percent increased earthquake damage an

earthquake will be our main damage

source this item also makes are

threatening shouts cause an earthquake

will also want a girdle of giants that

makes seismic slam buff earthquake for

three seconds after you use it and

you'll want to try as much as possible

to get as close to one hundred percent

increase damage there as you can and

that's the basic gist of the items for

greater if pushing where you'll want

more toughness you'd want some ancient

parts and defenders will be taking a

rune on leaf that stuns enemies when we

land so this will pair perfectly well

with our ancient Parsons but if you're

going through easier content and don't

need that added damage reduction you

could have said go with bracers of this

struction and if you're going through

really fast speed runs and don't need

that added damage you can go with

nemesis bracers in our cube will ideally

want a furnace this build is good at

area damage it suffers a little bit

against single target high health

enemies so the furnace really helps with

that but if you're doing speedruns you

can go with an income ask your cube

jewelry slot if you want to go full-on

glass cannon you want a convention of

elements but if you want a little bit

more survivability you can go with a

band of might now on the test server i

saw this build clear a 94 and it was

using a convention of elements your

ideal amulet will be a hellfire amulet

squeeze in an additional passive but you

can also go with an immunity amulet or

an eye that ledge and your ideal rings

will be focused and restraint for some

mega damage bugs together the dual set

bonus of these rings more than doubles

your damage to trigger these will be

using leap as our generator and seismic

slam as our spender for our gems will

want a bane of the trapped great damage

buff will always be active will want

esoteric alteration it's the best

defensive gem and we will need it we're

going to be in the thick of things and

then lastly it's between the vein of the

stricken and the bane of the powerful

you decide when to opt for one or the

other based on how long it takes you to

kill the rift guardian as you'll see in

this rift it took me a little bit too

long to kill the rift guardian so I

should have been running a bane of the

stricken if you're doing easier content

you can go with the bane of the powerful

now we'll give some suggestions about

the stats that you want on the gear

pieces but this isn't very set in stone

think of the more as guidelines area

damage is something very important to

this bill but so its cooldown reduction

the greater your cooldown reduction the

less time you'll be spending outside of

leaping around the items will present to

you cleared a 90 for greater risk and

they leaned more towards area damage

versus cooldown reduction so looking at

the shoulders we got strength vitality

area damage cooldown reduction if you

want you can squeeze earthquake damage

in there somewhere you can sub out

either vitality area damage or cool down

again if you want to squeeze in that

earthquake damage for our helm strands

vitality crit chance and a diamond for

our amulet we're going fire crit crit

we're

sending here the fire variant of the

leaf quake there's also a physical

variant which is just a matter of which

room you taken we'll go over the pros

and cons of both when we get there for

our gloves strength crit crit area

damage instead of area damage you may

choose to get cool down here for our

chest strength vitality earthquake

damage or you can go with the defensive

stats like life percent for our

bracelets will want elemental damage

strength vitality crit chance for our

belt strength vitality all resist life

percent getting maximum fury on your

gear is also helpful but it's definitely

secondary you could also substitute one

of those primaries for life on period

spent for our pants strands vitality all

resist and for our boots strands

vitality all resist armor for our rings

ideally you want crit crit and any

either area damage or cooldown reduction

for our weapon will want strength light

/ fury spent increases earthquake damage

you want that as close to two hundred

percent as possible when you're checking

whether an item is an upgrade be sure to

bear in mind the increases earthquake

damage that is the main source of our

damage and then you can also go with

plus percent damage you can go with

vitality if you want to be a bit more

careful or you can also go for area

damage or if you want to be real crazy

so you can swap out life for fury spent

with area damage but having that life

for fury spent really helps with our

sustain all right onto the skills we

start with seismic slam rumble and this

is the room that has changed remember

that with this set you reduce the

cooldown on leap every time you spend

fury now previously this build used

ancient spear Boulder toss as a fury

dump now the rumble rune on seismic slam

has been given the same power so what

we've effectively done is freed up a

slot on our skill bar for an additional

skill because we were actually using

seismic slam with this build anyway in

order to benefit from the girdle of

giants with this new modification to the

rumble rune seismic slam and ancient

sphere Boulder toss have been combined

effectively into one skill we want to be

using seismic slam when both the leap

and threatening shout are on cooldown

because they'll both benefit from the

cooldown reduction next we're taking

leap debts from above next we're taking

battle rage blood

this is just a really really strong

offensive barbarian power it's been a

buff that just about every barbarian

build has used since the dawn of time

next we're using threatening shout

falter as another damage buff and it

also serves for nerf enemies next we'll

take earthquake molten fury molten furia

is the most damaging rune on earth quake

in the past we went with the physical

rune cave-in and that's because Cavin

would pull enemies in it would build

density such that you're affecting more

enemies while ever since the density

changes the greater rifts that rune has

been less impactful than molten fewer

than just dealing more damage we're sort

of relying on the rift itself to have

that density that said feel free to use

whichever variant you want just know

that molten fury has the potential to do

more damage and thus will be able to

climb higher on the leaderboard and that

leaves us with the spot that we have

freed up and we're going to use wrath of

the berserker insanity for that now as

opposed to a whirlwind build that seeks

to have one hundred percent up time on

rats of the berserker we're not trying

to do that here we're using graphs of

the berserkers solely situationally for

the big fights when we need it it's a

huge damage buff on to our passives will

want earthen might this is what will

help us generate that fury and then the

next three passives plus the one from

our health parameter that will pick

we're going to have nerves of steel you

ideally want that on your health fire

amulet this is so that it's more

versatile across whatever build you want

to use and then the three offensive

passives you want are ruthless that's

more damage to enemies that are below

thirty percent health that really helps

with those big rift Guardian fights will

want brawler will generally have a lot

of enemies nearest we're going to be

jumping into big packs of enemies so

we're going to increase our damage that

way and we'll want to maintain rampage

this build is really good at killing

trash so what's important is to keep

killing that trash I don't do that so

effectively in this video I was hunting

a little bit too much for a champion and

elite packs and so I was probably losing

my rampage buck now I want to finalize

this video just by circling back to what

we were talking about before about the

rift Guardian you see we also got

unlucky

we're against a scandal which is a

pretty tough riff guarding for a melee

character to deal with I'm forced to

fall back a lot you know you got those

spinning dildos of doom you've got his

super annoying wave that knocks you back

exposing all that so I'm spending a lot

of time not engaging him but even at

even when I'm engaging him you can count

how many times I'm leaping on him do do

a soft count of how many times I'm

hitting him and I feel that I would have

benefited from a Bayman of stricken

being able to build it up a little bit

quicker in the end it wasn't too bad I'm

probably still ok with my bane of the

powerful but a beta tricking probably

would have helped just a little more and

that covers all the skills and that

wraps up this video leave a comment with

your thoughts on this build if you're

playing barbarian are you going to go

for a leak Craig barb thanks for

As you can see, we're designing my clothing line.

I like this one.

This looks more adult. My friends would wear this.

I would wear it.

This is our first ever meeting.

We're super happy about it.

- You like the style but not the colour. - In black or grey.

This trousers are more like this length, right?

Not here or here. Just here.

You see this sleeves?

You love this sleeves, right?

I love them.

The most important thing is that the clothes represent me

and that you like it.

This trendy T-shirts like to wear them like this.

That the sleeve rests here.

I like this fabric. It's like for jogging.

Yes, I love it.

(Mum) You gotta have a peace sign.

OK, but not for a T-shirt. I don't like it.

Think about it, honey!

I'll give it a thought.

This one here is not bad.

You'll see the result very soon.

Here you have, one of the last meetings...

for the brand: TINI.

Let's start!

See, and with the T-shirt cut here but long til the floor.

Short front and then long. I like this too.

I don't want it to look like a pyjama's.

I like this one... could we add here something small?

Yes, I wanted to suggest that.

Same in the back?

Same in the back.

This would be more... like, not so squared, right?

Tighter to the body, pretty.

Yes, the dress will be fitted.

If it's finally as we see it here, I like it.

We're deciding the final touches.

Finding THAT thing that you see the piece and you say...

This is Tini's.

Giving every single piece Tini's personality.

Hello everyone! Good morning!

Today is a very special day for me.

It's been almost a year that we have been working on this

and today it will finally become a reality.

It's here, my own clothing line!

It looks just as I dreamt it.

Today we're doing a photoshoot

and I have here some of the clothes to show you.

You have so many different things!

Now I have to...

I'm gonna have to walk you out, come here...

It was nice to have you around but... I need a bit of intimacy.

My clothing line's logo is Olga,

my little dog!

it's like a bag of mixed feelings.

It's unique, personal... it identifies me.

We wanted to have her in one of my T-shirts and when I saw her I said:

I want her to be the logo.

We just finished the photoshoot for my clothing line!

Look, we're packing everything already.

Look, all of them gone!

Everything went incredibly incredible. The pictures are looking amazing.

I'm super happy.

I can also tell you that this is a dress of my clothing line and... I love it!

It's one of my favourites. So cute.

That's all for today. Hope you had fun and you liked my clothing line.

See you soon, soon, soon!

Tell me in the comments what was your favourite look, if you liked and everything.

I love you.

Trump Admin Wants Cuts To After School Meal Programs Because Food Doesn't Make Kids Smarter? - Duration: 4:34.

After Donald Trump's disastrous budget was unveiled and it was revealed that he wanted

to cut after-school program for kids all across the country in public schools, a White House

spokesperson was asked point blank, "Why in God's name would you want to cut these programs

for needy children?" to which the spokesperson replied, "There's no evidence that these programs

benefit kids in school.

There's no evidence that these programs help kids do better in school.

When we looked at these metrics, we decided to cut any programs that weren't directly

helping kids in school, helping them to do better in school, and that's why these after-school

programs are getting axed."

Well, first of all, there is plenty of evidence that suggests that after-school programs do

in fact help children do better in school.

They bring up grades.

They bring up attendance, participation, and all other metrics increase because of these

after-school programs.

Several independent studies have proven that.

First of all, the White House was absolutely lying about that, but there's another piece

of this puzzle.

The after-school programs, the morning programs that are being cut, it's not just for parents

to go drop off their kids and say, "Hey, you deal with them."

It's so parents can go to work because not every job in the United States starts after

school has begun.

Some parents have no choice but to send their children to the morning care or after-school

care programs, but the most important point is that these program aren't just publicly

funded babysitters.

They provide meals to hungry children, many of whom those will be the only meals that

they eat on those days.

That's the biggest problem with these budget cuts.

They're literally taking food out of the mouths of needy children who otherwise will not get

fed.

One thing that people across the country don't typically understand is why when there's a

big snow coming, schools wait till the very last possible minute to cancel school for

that day even though we know people aren't going to be able to go in.

It's because, again, many of these kids who don't get to school that day, they don't get

to eat.

Everybody, especially Republicans, want to think that every child in this country's taken

care of.

When they're at home, they have three meals a day, breakfast, lunch, dinner, fully nutritious,

packed with healthy things, and they go about their lives.

That's not the case.

That's not case for most children in this country.

Kids are going hungry in the United States, and Donald Trump wants to take even more food

away from them by cutting these morning and afterschool care programs.

I don't want to throw out the word evil.

That gets thrown around too much, but this is a heartless move by the administration.

To be honest, you can't even pin all the blame on Donald Trump because this is what Republicans

in general have been wanting to do for over 100 years.

Shrinking the size of the Federal Government.

Shrinking the role of the Federal Government.

Shrinking what the Federal Government pays for.

That is a literal part of the Republican Party platform, so don't just blame Trump.

This is a Republican Party problem, and anybody walking around calling themselves a Republican

supports this because if you call yourself a Republican, then you support your party's

platform.

This is your party's platform.

Taking food out of the mouths of hungry children who otherwise won't get food.

This isn't just on Trump's shoulders.

This is on the shoulders of every single Republican voter in the United States.

How To Combine Cufflinks - Duration: 6:10.

Welcome back to the Gentleman's Gazette!

In today's video, we discuss how to pair cuff links with the rest of your outfit.

It seems like many men are not sure what kind of cuff links to wear and so in this video,

we are going to show you how to combine it and how to have fun with cuff links in clothing.

Generally, cuff links don't really pair well with suits so I suggest you look at your shirts.

Obviously, it depends on your personal taste but to start, I think a plain white or light

blue shirt works really well because you can have all kinds of cuff links on them.

They can be really contrasting, such as a green one, blue, red, a yellow, basically

anything that contrasts those colors will stand out.

Usually, your cuff links are hidden underneath your suit sleeve so if you have something

contrasting, they show up when you move around sometimes and you can get a little glimpse

of it which is nice.

If you have a solid white shirt, maybe a solid silver cuff link is not the best choice because

it blends in.

You can go with a gold cuff link because it's slightly more contrasting or you just get

something bolder in color.

Diamonds for day wear are not really recommended because they are strictly reserved for evening

wear.

Usually, it's a tacky thing to wear diamonds during the day and it just shows that you

don't have style but a lot of money.

If you have a striped shirt just like the one I'm wearing here right now, you can try

to combine the color with the stripe.

If it's yellow, you go with yellow.

If it's orange, with orange.

Brown with brown and so on.

In this outfit, I used orange as my accent color and it works really well with yellow

or rose gold; not so much with silver.

With the striped shirt, you also want to create contrast and depending on what kind of stripe

it is.

If it's a very fine stripe, you may actually get away with a pair of solid cuff links because

there's enough of a contrast but it really depends on the individual shirt.

Whether you choose a fixed bar cuff link, a chain cuff link, or a t-bar cuff link, ultimately,

it does not matter.

If you want to learn how to put on cuff links with different mechanisms, please check out

this video, here.

If you wear checked shirts, I suggest you keep it simple with your cuff links and either

go with a solid silver, solid gold, or solid rose gold, because checks are already busy

and by adding another strong contrasting cuff link, it's just over the top.

The goal is to create some contrast but to keep it balanced and harmonious.

If you have a black tie invitation and you wear your tuxedo, you wear a white shirt,

and you should usually go with either a gold and black insert such as an abalone stone

or dark mother of pearl.

You can also go with onyx or hematite.

Traditionally for white tie, you'd wear either pearl studs or mother of pearl studs paired

with matching mother of pearl cuff links that are white gold or platinum on the outside.

With a tuxedo you can go with gold or silver, it's up to you.

Black is the number one choice but you can also go with semi-precious or precious stones

in contrasting colors.

Another great way to wear cuff links is to coordinate them with your socks.

Here's an example with blue and yellow socks and other cuff links that you can match it

with.

If you have red or burgundy socks, you can go with a carnelian.

If you have brown or blue socks, you can go with lapis lazuli or a tiger's eye.

If you have a pair of grey socks or charcoal socks, a onyx or hematite or abalone stone

will work really well.

Basically, you just pick up a color in the socks and pair it with your cuff links, it

makes for a cool look and it's coordinated but it's subtle and stylish.

Of course, you can also match your cuff links with your tie and your pocket square.

Just like with socks. you want to ideally pick one of the colors and incorporate it

to your outfits.

What I did in this outfit is I paired a gold pair of monkey fist cuff links with a gold collar

clip and then I chose the ring that has like an orange stone because it goes well with

my shirt and my pocket square and parts of my tie.

Because the overall color palette of my outfit is warm such as orange and green, I chose

gold because it's a warmer color. Silver is good with cooler colors such as blue or grey.

If you are daring, you can also try to combine a pocket square that matches your socks and

your cuff links but what you should avoid is having the same tie and pocket square because

it just looks gaudy.

Overall, pairing cuff links is a lot easier than for example pairing pocket squares and

ties, and if you want to learn more about that, please check out this video here.

Personally, I'm a big fan of trying to pair my cuff links with pinky rings or in general,

rings, and little accessories such as a tie bar or a collar clip.

For example, here you can see how we combine a malachite pair of cuff links with a malachite

ring or tiger's eye cuff links with a tiger's eye ring or carnelian cuff links with a carnelian

ring.

Sometimes, it may not always work out as a hundred percent and that's okay, just try

to get something close that works together.

For example, I have a wedding band in gold so right now, I'm wearing gold but if I have

a silver pair of cuff links, with a silver pinky ring, that's okay too.

In general, you want to match the metal color of your cuff links to other items in your

outfit such as your rings or your belt buckle or your monk strap buckles.

Some people even match it to their luggage or their suitcases.

In my opinion, that's a little over the top, and if it aligns that way, that's great but

if not, don't stress out about it because elegance and style is about being confident

and not being overly anal about matching everything exactly to the tee.

If you liked the cuff links in this video, take a closer look at them here.

How To Reset Maintenance Light Toyota - Duration: 2:47.

In this video I'm going to show you my simple procedure for resetting your "Maintenance Required"

light.

I use this method all the time, despite confusing instructions you might find your owner's

manual.

I'm Mervin, and today you're gonna learn an easy procedure through what we're calling

our BABY STEPS VIDEO SERIES to put you more in the driver's seat of your car's maintenance.

Of course, I'm gonna wear several pair of safety goggles and protective gloves to appease

my extensive team of attorneys.

Now, the first thing you need to know is the "Maintenance Required" light is not necessarily

a danger light.

And it's pretty common on most modern vehicles.

It's kinda like an egg timer really, ya know?

And it's programmed to go off at pre-determined intervals to remind you to change your oil,

say every 5,000 miles, or maybe rotate your tires, or check your brakes, or clean out

your chicken coop, or whatever!

And after you reset it, the timer starts again.

Five or ten thousand miles later, whatever's pre-determined by your car, it's gonna come

on again to remind you to perform the required maintenance.

And don't confuse it with the warning indicators like CHECK ENGINE LIGHT, or CHECK OIL LIGHT,

or whatever other pretty, colorful beacons might come on and stay lit.

In our case, I'm deep within the belly of my friend Demille's Prius v.

We just got done changing his filthy oil and so we're gonna reset this maintenance light

to start the timer all over again.

And here's how: First you're gonna make sure you press the selector switch on your

steering wheel to be on the TRIP "A" position.

Next, you're gonna turn off the car and make sure you're in park of course.

Take your foot off the brake and off the gas and while you're holdin' down this here

kilometer/miles per hour button, what you're gonna do is press your power button twice.

Like this.

One.

Two.

Now, you're gonna see 5 blinking dashes counting down.

And when they're done countin' down, ya let go.

And voila!

Your maintenance light is off.

Top 10 Interesting Facts About North Korea You May Not Know! - Duration: 4:05.

Australia has kangaroos and hot weather.

England has Big Ben and cups of tea.

Italy has pizza and espresso.

Some countries are simply known for having certain characteristic things about them.

Overall, it's a place that has always been puzzling and shocking to the rest of the world.

So, from the weird to the wacky, let's have a look at the top 10 interesting facts about

North Korea.

10.

They have their own calendar

Think it's the year 2017 in North Korea?

Think again.

It is actually the year 106 because North Korea marks the birth of their first supreme

leader – Kim Il-sung – as year 1 (1912).

This deviation from the widely used Gregorian calendar was only actually implemented on

9 September 1997.

9.

No birthdays allowed on particular dates

North Korea's second supreme leader – Kim Jong-il – and Kim Il-sung died on July 8

and December 17, respectively.

So, bad luck if you were born on either of those days because you're not permitted

to celebrate your birthday.

8.

Citizens only have access to a small number of websites

The internet contains millions upon millions of domains, but for those in North Korea,

only 28 websites can be accessed by the public.

Of those, most wouldn't be called particularly exciting, as they range from websites covering

insurance, education, care for the elderly, news, and cooking tips.

7.

Young men told to copy their leader's haircut

Kim Jong-un, who other than having a reputation as one of the world's most ruthless leaders,

is also recognized for his very unusual hairstyle – but he doesn't want to be the only one.

6.

They have a fake town on the border with South Korea

In the demilitarized zone between North and South Korea rests a seemingly nice town, with

everything you'd expect to see, like houses, a school, a hospital and shops.

The thing is… apparently no one actually lives there.

5.

Hiring fans to cheer for the national team during the 2010 World Cup

It's notoriously hard to leave North Korea even for a holiday, so as a result, many thought

it odd that thousands of North Koreans turned up to support their country during the 2010

World Cup in South Africa.

4.

A very small percentage of their roads are paved

They may have the world's largest stadium with a capacity of 150,000,

but conversely, less than 3% of the roads are actually paved with tarmac.

3.

They hold "elections"

Although it might be a laughable concept from a country widely considered a totalitarian

regime, North Korea does hold elections every five years.

Sure, you only have one option to pick (and don't even think about not voting at all),

but at least there's the illusion of democracy.

2.

A South Korean director was kidnapped and forced to make films

There is a more sinister incident linking North Korea and film.

In 1978, Kim Jong-il kidnapped director Shin Sang-ok and his wife (actor Choi Eun-hee)

from South Korea and tasked them with revitalizing the failing North Korean film industry.

"Three generations punishment" rule

Horribly, if someone in your family breaks the law and is sent to a prison camp, then

the rest of your relations can expect the same fate.

This includes your grandparents, parents, and children.

This "three generations punishment" rule was started by Kim Il-sung back in the 1950s.

Cody Gribble comments on gator encounter at Arnold Palmer - Duration: 1:46.

A moment ago Cody Gribble at 6.

Woah you know what.

When you're not going all that well at 4-over par, you take some chances.

Gribble: The gator looked like he needed some exercise

I don't know.

But he was sitting there in the way ya know I guess I was struggling today and wanted

to get some adrenaline going somehow.

Laughs.

I wasn't really afraid of it.

There's really nothing to say about it.

Have you done something like that before?

Laughs.

I've done it a couple times before.

If you think that's crazy you should meet my father, Bill Gribble.

Next time you see him have an interview with him he loves all types of animals.

What was that about 8 feet you think?

Yeah, it wasn't a 10-footer

it was probably about 8 foot yeah for sure.

Did your sponsors ever say they'd really rather you not do that?

Laughs.

You know, probably.

That's probably frowned upon but I wasn't to worried about it at the time.

Those guys I mean, it's like a jolt, it's quick, you know there not gonna catch you

a couple steps down.

I mean their gonna get you really quick earlier but I'm not in it's way.

I'm right behind him.

It's not gonna happen.

Laughs.

You ever tapped one and had it turn around on you?

Ahh yeah, I have.

But it haven't got me, I mean their quick but their not that quick.

I mean, we've caught the, before fishing to so.

I mean, it's fun.

I'm not going to hurt them or anything it's beautiful.

And actually I don't know if you've every felt an aligator but their skin is incredibly clean.

I don't know anyway.

Comes back again

The grief that tightens it's grip

day by day

Loneliness it haunts me,

makes me cry

Feels like the world has abandoned me

I'm weak,

I'm nothing,

just a shadow of my life

My heart is dead and still I dream of you

Don't you understand you're the reason for my pain

I hear you calling me to come

There's no-on I can see

Just the nights cold breeze

Oh god I'm so alone, so alone

I fear the darkness that makes me blind

There's nothing I can feel

These tears are nothing without you

I'm nothing without you

Can you see my heart,

broken like my life

Nothing to hold on,

nothing to live for

This pain is too much

for me to take

Holding on to you was like holding on to nothing

My trust for you

tore me apart

I gave all for you

Should I Replace My Carbon Frame? | Ask GCN Anything Cycling - Duration: 14:18.

- Hello and welcome to Ask GCN Anything.

You get to ask us anything

and we will do our best to answer it.

And some of you, some of you really do ask us anything

like this person EskimoKwin who sent this in via Twitter.

And they have said,

is it just me or does it look like this person

is holding another tiny person in their hand?

This was at 9.15 on the GCN Show, episode 217.

And no, it's not just you,

that is definitely a person holding a tiny human being.

That is a brilliant spot.

I can't believe that.

Anyway, moving swiftly on.

We have had plenty of cycling-themed questions

as well this week, like these two first up

regarding carbon frames.

I'll start with this one from Mathieu Lizotte

who has asked,

how can I know when the lifetime of my carbon frame is over?

And what is the consequence of riding

with an older carbon frame if there are no visual flaws?

Well, that's quite a tricky question to answer actually.

On paper, carbon doesn't degrade,

so your carbon frame could, in theory,

last for a lifetime.

However, we do know that sometimes a carbon frame

could be damaged and yet not really show it on the surface.

But I think the fair assessment is

if you haven't had any crashes or any big knocks,

your carbon frame is probably gonna be absolutely fine.

The reason people seem to be quite suspicious

of carbon is that it's had a bit of a bad press

and unfairly so as well.

So, you'll probably should be able

to take confidence in your carbon frame,

just as much as you would

in any other frame material to be fair.

Right, and then the next carbon question

is this one from Michael McDowell

who sent it in on Twitter as well.

Is water trapped inside a high-end carbon road frame

a major problem?

There are no drain holes.

Will corrosion occur?

Well, the good news is no corrosion will occur

on your carbon frame because carbon obviously

doesn't corrode.

So, from that respect it's absolutely fine.

Unfortunately, the lowest point on a frame

is your bottom bracket,

so you may well find that the bottom bracket itself

could corrode if you get loads of water in there.

So, the simple answer and solution

to a problem is to periodically take your seat post out,

tip your frame upside down

and let any water drain out.

Because if you've got a high-end carbon frame

you don't want to be adding any grammes of water to it.

Next up we've got this question from Chris Harris

who said that he someone on Strava doing fasted trained.

What is it?

Have you used it before?

Well, fasted training is effectively going for a bike ride

without having had any breakfast before.

So, you are effectively training in a fasted state.

And yes, I have used it

a reasonable amount actually when I was full time

but I don't do it anymore

'cause it's not perhaps the most fun way

of going for a bike ride.

You need to keep your intensity levels quite low

but can be really, really effective.

But if you wanna know more on this subject,

then the video that's currently playing behind me

is called High Carb Versus Low Carb,

What is the Most Effective Way to Train?

And actually it's one

of the most controversial of GCN videos of all time.

Enjoy and then spend a bit of time

reading through the 1,200 comments below it.

- Now, when you're exercising on a low carb diet,

your body doesn't just burn the carbs,

it actually can burn protein as well as fat.

- Right, now the dust has settled

following the controversial nutrition video,

we're going to move on to another very serious question

actually sent in by Crustinho99,

who says that when he goes riding, his penis goes numb.

He said he's changed his saddle twice already

but what could the problem be?

Is it positioning, is it the wrong bib shorts?

Well, I think you can leave aside bib shorts.

That's not gonna affect it.

I think you're absolutely bob on

when you talk about your positioning

because having the wrong saddle height

could put a bit too much pressure on the wrong places,

so to speak,

so if your saddle is too high particularly

but actually probably a much more important

is the reach to your handlebars

because that governs how far forward you lean

and so, if you've got to lean too far forward,

then your hips will rotate

and that will obviously really load up the pressure

on your perineum

which is probably the place that's suffering.

And so, the question that you wanna ask yourself

is are you reaching too far?

And so, this video just playing in the background

could well help you with that decision.

So, I'll leave you to watch that video

and then click through to it.

- If you get that reach wrong,

over that amount of time

it can add up to discomfit

and at worse, pain and injuries.

- Okay, next question comes from Robert Lindley

who says he's a 73-year-old cyclist

living in the pretty hilly and pretty windy

South Pennines of Yorkshire.

No arguments there, definitely hilly

and definitely quite windy.

He says he gets out about three times a week

doing approximately 140 kilometres in total

but he seems to have issues holding onto muscle mass

and therefore fitness.

Any advice?

Well, I'm certainly not a qualified coach in this matter

but there is one thing that I suggest that you could try,

having read about it in a few different places,

and that is actually doing resistance training.

So, literally going to the gym and lifting weights.

Now, I'm not suggesting that you go there

and just start picking up dumbbells and stuff.

It needs to be done in a really safe and correct way

but by all accounts, I see everyone struggles

to hold onto muscle mass when they get beyond a certain age

and so going to the gym actually really, really helps

your body hold onto that

and therefore, it can improve your quality of life

in other areas, such as riding your bike.

So, give that a go but like I said,

make sure you do it in a really safe, controlled way

and consult an expert on it.

Okay, next question.

We've got this one from Ramses Moya

who has said that often they ride on their own

and love to stop for a coffee along the ride

but while you're on your own,

do you lock your bike,

do you carry a lock when you're riding?

Now, that's a tricky question.

A bit depends on where you ride,

the cafe that you stop at

and how long you're gonna have to leave your bike for.

No, I personally don't stop, I don't carry a lock rather

but then I don't stop all that often when I'm on my own.

But there is a little technique

that you can use when you're desperate

to stop for a coffee.

It's in this video right now,

so I suggest you take a look at it

and then have a go

but always you gotta keep your fingers crossed

'cause it's not fail safe.

- Now, for most thieves, they not going to be noticing

if they're undone

and it's gonna make it pretty hard

for them to ride off on your bike

when they come along to try and nick it.

(upbeat music)

- Okay, quick-fire questions now,

the point in this video where we answer questions

at exactly the same speed

but pretend we're going faster.

First of all, we got this from Adam Golfatso

sent in on Twitter.

He is gonna try Everesting this summer.

Have we got any tips on pacing

for 100 reps of a climb if he doesn't have a power metre?

Well, the first tip I think actually

would be to try and get yourself a heart rate monitor.

In terms of cost, it's just a fraction of the price

of a power metre but it can do a very similar job

and that it stops you from trying too hard

'cause if you have a look at your heart rate

on your handlebars or on your head unit

or whatever, then it will effectively mean

you have like a rev limiter,

so you simply stop yourself from trying too hard.

But if you don't have a heart rate monitor,

the thing to do is just to make sure

in the back of your mind you're always thinking

about going as slowly as possible

'cause you can always get faster as the day goes on

but you don't want to do it the other way round.

Okay, next up we got this from Nyall Horner.

How do I stop bouncing on the rollers

when I'm going flat out?

And that is really tricky

and it's part of the reason why rollers

are so good for one thing in particular

and that is teaching you to pedal really smoothly.

So, I'd suggest if you wanna stop bouncing,

is to actually work up to it quite slowly

and just concentrate on pedalling really smoothly,

so pulling up on the pedal stroke

and scraping through the bottom.

Now, it won't necessarily make you faster

out in the open road

because the jury is very much still out

on whether or not pulling up

as well as pushing down on the pedals helps

but it will certainly help stop you bouncing on the rollers.

So, why don't you give that a try.

Okay, EatRideGrow has asked

what are the benefits of motor-pacing?

So motor-pacing is effectively where you train

while sitting in the slipstream of a motorbike or a car

and so what it means is that instead of training

at 32 kilometres per hour,

you can train at 50 kilometres per hour.

And therein likes its secret

because actually it's used by a lot of pros

who perhaps might not have any races coming up

but they still need to train to be race ready.

And so it effectively simulates being in a race,

by riding around at 50 kilometres an hour,

and the reason that's important

is because actually pedalling on faster speeds,

or at faster speeds, feels very different

and actually has a different training effect

to pedalling at slower speeds,

even if the power output is the same.

So that is why they do it.

It won't necessarily make you a fitter cyclist,

it just conditions you for riding at faster speeds

but you also gotta be really careful

because motor-pacing is illegal in most places I suspect,

so if you are gonna do it,

make sure you do it on a closed circuit.

We certainly couldn't advocate doing it

out on the open roads.

Next we got a question from Liam Sangaku

who's asked if we can make a video

explaining the different types of body composition

that make the best cyclists.

It's a really great idea actually

and we will get on to that.

But the short answer is,

and the great thing about cycling,

is there are loads of different types of bodies

that make great cyclists.

You just have to look

at the men's pro peloton, for example.

You see a rider like Tom Boonen

who is really tall

versus a rider like Caleb Ewan who is quite short

and then on the GC side you've got Chris Froome

who is tall and incredibly skinny

and his chief arch nemesis

it was Nairo Quintana

who is much shorter and yet looks a little bit more muscled

and all of those riders are fantastic

and they're absolute top of their game.

So, like I said, the great thing about cycling

is that everyone has a good chance of doing it.

The only thing they have in common

is they're all pretty lean.

Okay, next up Ewan Chadwell

has asked effectively enough questions

to do an entire Ask GCN Anything on there.

Do teams carry around race leader's jersey with them?

No, they don't actually.

The races themselves provide the jerseys.

What the teams have is like a transfer

that the race organisers can then iron onto the jerseys

which makes it look like

they've got their sponsors on there already.

That's a kind of a cool tip.

Do track sprinters change bikes between rounds

so they can change tactics?

No, I don't think they do

because at the end of the day,

it's all about top speed really for those guys,

so they probably use the same gearing most of the time.

Is it better for my bike to leave it in a certain gear

when I'm not riding it?

No, it doesn't matter which is good news.

Do some riders race with their phones

for apps like Strava?

No, no one will race with a phone in their pocket,

I don't think.

Should sprint stages be shorter to give breakaway

a bit of chance of staying away for longer,

making it more exciting?

No, the funny thing about pro racing

is that pretty much no matter how short

or long the stage, the pro peloton

will always be able to gauge the catch,

well, at least they will probably 49 times out of 50 maybe.

Okay, you and I are gonna leave you

at the rest of your questions

'cause, like I say, that's whole episode in itself.

And then move on to this last one

from Nikola Martic who said,

what to eat during long rides

if I'm avoiding refined sugar?

Well, your suggestion here of bananas,

that's a great shout, dried fruit

but also look at savoury stuff as well,

like sandwiches with ham and cheese in,

that's still a staple in the pro peloton

and actually eating just fruit

is probably not the best thing to do

because I think the jury's definitely decided

that fructose is probably not the best way

to fuel for your ride.

Right, we're onto our last few questions now, I'm afraid.

This one from @WobyOne on Twitter.

They've asked what's the best way of preventing punctures

when out riding mixed trails on a cyclo-cross bike.

#pumpfail and #co2fail.

That's bad luck, I'm not gonna lie.

I'm gonna throw to you a video now

that we made quite a long time ago

but it's still relevant, okay

because I always use tubeless tyres

when I'm on my cyclo-cross bike

and therefore tubeless wheels as well.

But back in the day,

I actually made non-tubeless tyres

work with non-tubeless wheels

and we made a video about it.

And you may find that you struggle to do it

but in terms of puncture distance,

I can't recommend it enough.

Tubeless for cyclo-cross makes total sense.

You effectively remove the inner tube,

so that you got no chance of pinch puncturing

and then you fill your tyre with a bit of sealant,

so that if you get a little thorn puncture

or something like that,

then the sealant will fill that hole whilst you're riding.

It's not 100% fail safe

but it certainly cuts down the amount of punctures

that I get, so have a look.

Right, tighten the valve down firmly.

Give the wheel a good spin

to make sure that the sealant is spread evenly

and then it's just a case of trying to pump it up.

Right, I'm gonna leave Ask GCN Anything

with a question actually for you all

to help answer because Zach Sigouin

has sent in this and we couldn't exactly

work out what to say.

He has said, if you have two bikes of equal value

that you love equally and they have

very similar components and fit,

how do you decide which one to sell

if you have to get rid of one?

That's just brutal.

That is a horrible situation to find yourself in

and I do sympathise with you a great deal, Zach.

And actually, like I said,

I don't know which one you should sell.

Perhaps the one that's got the most life left in it?

The one that has the chain in the best condition

and the gears and the brake cables?

I don't know, which is why I want you lot

to try and help.

Can you help Zach decide which bike to sell?

Arg, like I say, I really feel sorry for you, Zach.

Right, now I am gonna leave Ask GCN Anything there.

If you have anything that you want to know

about cycling or in fact, anything at all

that we may be able to help you with,

then do get involved in the comments section down below.

The next thing to say is to make sure

that you subscribe to GCN.

If you haven't done it already, it's very simple

and it is completely free, just click on the globe.

And then, if you are after more up-to-date GCN content,

then we've got two very good videos

that came out just this week.

Firstly, how to train for short Gran Fondos and sportives.

That video is just up there.

Or another philosophical question actually,

perhaps not quite as severe as Zach's

but saddlebag versus jersey pocket,

which is the best way to carry your riding essentials?

That one is just down there.

Hi friends, I hope you are okay! For my part it goes nickel, today we find ourselves in a small video for you talk about the "Nintendo Switch"

I had already made a video with NARCOTAG, I do not know if you remember, the video is on my channel.

As you know, Nintendo announced very recently that they were going to release the Nintendo Switch, I will give you a little more information.

Pedestal ; It is d CPU 4x ARM cortex A57 here, GPAU; It is nvidia macsouère integra x1. The display is 6.2 inches with a resolution of 1080p x 720p and LCD technology

No sooner

The autonomy, is very interesting, for the processor, Nintendo would have chosen the greeting x1 decra, we have no confirmation for the nvidia so we will see.

You should know that on the screen side, Nintendo chose the 6.2 inch so HD minimum knowing that most of the smartphones has 200 euro and more runs in full HD

That's why it uses, as I said, it uses 1080 on 720 pixel with the LCD technology, for most of the games, they are in HD when the tablet is brushed to its base

After the tablet goes to 900p when the tablet is connected to a TV. As you can see in the picture, we see the location of the POWER button, the volume, the touchscreen, the spaker (sorry for my rotten English)

It is possible to put an SD card, a Jack jack and other years the connection of the tablet and the reloading of the controllers and the USB type C one is moving completely to USB type C

I do not know if it's going too fast or not, say the e in comment. For the networks, the tablet will be able to connect to the tablet via the wifi or via an ethernet cable, because one could confuse

I think I have done the trick, I think you redo a video on the Nintendo Switch if I can test it and to give you more information acr it just came out, there has not been much testing yet

I will keep you informed, friends!

I hope this video will have pleased you, do not hesitate to let go of the blue thumb which makes pleasure as usual and as we like it and to give me your opinion via the comments

And subscribe, this is very important, we are more than 1540 subscribers, Thank you!

Studying law with the University of London - a family affair - Duration: 2:29.

When I was very young, I always admired lawyers

and I liked the way they used to go up the steps,

and go into court and how they argued these matters.

I used to go around the courtroom and sit and spend many hours watching them.

After I left school, I started working selling encyclopedias,

subsequently, I became an insurance salesman with Prudential.

An old friend of mine, he said, "There's only one life you have,

give it the best shot." And I kept thinking that's the only thing that I need to do,

give it the best shot, and I liked law.

Thereafter, I wrote to University of London and then they gave me the eligibility

to do the law program.

When I was in school, I was never really a studying person.

I never liked studying so I didn't really know what I wanted to do.

And as I looked, I grew up looking at my dad, I realized, "This is who I want to be."

That's when I realized, I'm going to do everything

that he did to make him proud in that way.

After Natasha was about nearly a year old, I used to keep her in a pouch

wrapped around me, and I always carried my books.

Wherever I am, I will take it out, whether traveling or whatever,

I can finish some chapter.

That's what my wife said, whatever I read ran into her

because she was always kept that close to my chest.

I think studying the University of London program,

they give us more things to share about and we could talk about

how the exam process was, how our studying style was.

It made us closer.

We both are very proud of being graduates of the University of London.

This is one close up shot when you received the scroll.

Whom were you looking at?

You.

Oh, jeez.

It was a very emotional and proud moment that you have accomplished

that in my life, and I was happy that I could give my parents that joy,

was there on their face, I could see that.

As she walked up to receive the scroll, I almost got up from my chair.

That was a moment that I will not forget.

I'm currently doing the bar course which is something that my dad had done as well.

My plan, which is to finish it successfully there

and go back and work with my dad in his law firm.

How To Bleach, Cut & Fray Jeans ~ DIY ~ I Makeover My Levi's - Duration: 7:03.

[Audio Length: 0:07:02] RECORDING COMMENCES:

Rajka Hayden: Hello friends.

I recently did my quarterly closet clean out which I have a lot of fun doing.

I get rid of a bunch of stuff.

I stumbled across this pair of Levi's 501s that I've had.

I was just wondering why I'm not wearing them.

I almost decided to get rid of them and thought Mm-mm, let me see if I can do something to

do a makeover on them.

Normally, I'm not one of those DIY kind of people, I'm not particularly crafty,

but I've been watching some YouTube videos and I'm going to give it a try today on

the channel.

That's what we have coming up.

In the meantime, thank you so much for watching, I appreciate it.

If you're a subscriber, thank you, thank you.

If you haven't subscribed yet, please do, trying to grow the channel.

We're also on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook at The Dress Up Mom.

So, these are the jeans.

They're just a nice regular pair of 501s which I really like.

I like the rise of them on me because they are not that low or too high, they fit kind

of well in the bottom.

There's just something boring about them to me though.

So, what we're going to try to do today is lighten them up with some bleach and also

do something fun with the bottom hems.

I was looking and there's so many different things to do with the hems these days.

You can fringe them, you can have an uneven hem, all sorts of fun things, but nothing

was really calling out to me and I don't want anything super trendy.

So, this morning I was reading The Wall Street Journal, Saturday Edition which I love.

Off duty.

And here is the picture of the French Vogue Editor and her jeans and viola that's what

I'm going to try to do.

Just a little bit of a hem that's cut straight and frayed a little bit, but up at the ankles,

that's what we're going to try.

Here are the supplies we're going to be using.

A good pair of scissors, a seam ripper, some gloves and some bleach.

The bleach I got with a little bit of a scent in it, so that the jeans don't get too stinky.

And, the bleaching, I was watching YouTube videos, most people put their jeans in a big

bucket, I'm going to try laying my flat in a bathtub so that I don't get the splotches.

But first I think we're going to end up cutting and then we're going to bleach.

I wanted to make sure that I get the length the way I want it and I know I want to wear

them with these Chelsea boots.

And, I like for my tattoo to show a little bit.

So, I just folded them up to where the length I want them and now I am going to go and cut.

So, I'm going to measure from the bottom to here and it's actually seven inches.

So, I'm going to mark the seven inches here and then over here so that I know where I'm

going to cut.

I'll do that on the other side too.

[music and cutting jeans]

I'm going to take these and just kind of rip them up a little, just stress.

Oh, cool.

[music and fraying]

Here they are.

I can already tell that's going to be a lot cooler.

Cool.

Okay, so now let's try and do the bleaching.

So, like I said, I'm trying to do this in my tub.

I put some warm water and I put a lot of that bleach in.

Really a lot, because I do hope to get them pretty light.

So, I'm just going to lay them flat.

Now this may not -- let's see if this works.

Get them really soaked up and lay them flat in there.

I've got my gloves on.

They're all good and soaked.

Now, I'm going to go set the alarm for 30 minutes and check them every 30 minutes.

It may take a couple of hours.

Here they are after the first half hour.

I see them getting a little bit lighter, but I think it's going to take a lot longer.

I ended up using the entire bottle and put some more hot water in there.

So, I'll keep checking on them.

This is about after an hour, I decided to actually turn them around as well, which I'm

going to do every hour or so.

I'm going to turn them around so that the front and back are getting evenly distributed.

I think this is going to take a while.

All right, these are looking good.

It's been about six hours just went out to dinner.

What I'm going to do now is drain this water, put these in a big garbage bag and then put

them in the washer and dryer and show you guys what they end up looking like.

I'm kind of excited, I think this is going to be great.

I'm going to use my Laundress, as you know one of my favorite products, Denim Wash, to

wash these jeans after the bleach.

I'm really happy with how these turned out.

The color is great, I love the fraying.

Look at the difference.

Look at how much it bleached out.

I really think that putting them in the bathtub was also a super good idea because they are

the same color all throughout.

Yay!

Viola!

Here's the finished result.

I could not be happier.

I love the way it's frayed.

I love the color.

I feel like I now have a new pair of my coolest jeans.

I'm so glad I did this.

If you've ever tried to do a jean makeover, I would love to hear about them and see what

you did.

Thank you for watching and until next time, dress it up a little.

Learn Slow English and Fast English #1 - Duration: 3:28.

Hi Bob the Canadian here.

You may have noticed that different English speakers speak at different speeds.

In this video I'm going to look at 5 questions that you can ask someone, and I'll show

you how to ask them at a fairly slow speed, and at the speed that a native speaker would

normally ask the question.

Let's imagine a friend of yours has just returned from a trip.

We're going to ask them five different questions and we're going to look at different speeds

that you can ask those questions at.

English speakers tend to compress their sentences.

So let's look at the slow version of each question, and then I'll show you one or

two faster versions of the same question.

The first question you could ask someone when they return from a trip could be:

Where did you go?

Where did you go on your trip Dave?

And there are two faster versions of this question.

You could say:

Where'd you go?

Where'd you go Dave?

Or you could say:

Where did you go?

Where did you go Dave?

And Dave might answer and say:

I went to Florida.

A second question you could ask someone when they return from a trip is:

When did you get back?

And again there's two faster versions of this question.

You could say:

When did you get back?

When did you get back Dave?

Or you could say:

When did you get back?

When did you get back Dave?

And Dave might answer by saying:

I got back last Wednesday.

A third question you might ask when someone returns from a trip is:

How did you go?

And there's two faster versions of this as well.

You could say:

How'd you go?

How'd you go Dave?

Or you could say:

How did you go?

How did you go Dave?

And he might answer by saying:

I took a train.

Or I drove my car.

A fourth question you might ask someone when they return from a trip is:

Did you have a good time?

Did you have a good time on your trip Dave?

And there is one faster version of this question.

You could say:

Did you have a good time?

Did you have a good time on your trip Dave?

And hopefully Dave responds by saying:

Yes!

I had a great time.

A fifth question and last question that could ask someone when they return from a trip is

the question:

Would you go again?

Would you go again on the same trip?

And a faster version of this would be:

Would you go again?

Would you go again Dave?

And hopefully Dave answers by saying:

Yes!

I would definitely go again.

Well that's five different questions you could ask someone when they return from a

trip.

I hope you benefitted from hearing the slower version and the faster version of each question.
