Who hasn't dreamed of having superpowers?
There's probably some part of you that wishes a radioactive spider or a chemical dump could
give you some epic origin story.
But it turns out, there really are somewhat-superpowered people who walk among us,
thanks to different mutations in their DNA.
Since your DNA controls everything about you, from what you look like to how your body works,
small changes in it can lead to really big changes in things like strength and speed!
Take your muscles.
There are lots of different molecules that affect how muscle tissue grows,
including your skeletal muscles—the ones you use when you move, and also look super great.
One of these molecules is a protein called myostatin, and it's put together from the
instructions in a gene known as MSTN.
Normally, myostatin binds to certain receptors on your skeletal muscle cells,
which activates signaling pathways that limit how much they grow and divide.
But researchers have found at least one mutation in the MSTN gene that creates
what's known as a loss of function.
It changes the instructions enough that the gene stops making myostatin molecules—
or at least, stops making proteins that work.
Without myostatin, your muscle cells grow bigger and divide way more than usual,
which means a huge boost in muscle mass and sometimes more strength.
And that leads to a condition called myostatin-related muscle hypertrophy, where people—even children—
can look like extra-ripped bodybuilders, but without doing any of the extra heavy-duty workouts.
And the condition doesn't seem to cause any health problems.
So scientists are researching myostatin-related therapies to treat people who have muscle
weakness or whose muscle cells die too quickly.
Now, huge muscles are one common superhero trait, but what about bursts of power and
speed like the Flash?
Well, turns out there's a mutation for that too.
There's a protein in skeletal muscles called alpha-actinin-3, which is encoded by the ACTN3 gene.
And it seems to be involved with fast-twitch muscle fibers.
Fast-twitch fibers are basically what they sound like:
they're muscle cells that have quick contraction times and give you bursts of force.
They're the muscle cells that let you sprint really fast.
And fast-twitch fibers are usually full of proteins that break down the long, sugar-storing
molecule called glycogen,
turning it into glucose and other energy-packed compounds that your muscles need to work.
Now, researchers aren't entirely sure what alpha-actinin-3 does.
But they think the protein could help with a number of things, like making or stabilizing
fast-twitch fibers or breaking down glycogen.
So, if everyone has this gene, why can't we all sprint like Usain Bolt?
Well, lots of people have a loss-of-function mutation in the ACTN3 gene, so they don't
have working alpha-actinin-3 proteins.
But it's been found that some top-notch sprinters and weightlifters have at least
one functional copy of this gene,
which means they can make the proteins that might help with seemingly-superhuman bursts
of power and speed.
But if endurance is what you're after, there are some genetic conditions that can increase
the strength of your bones.
Kind of like Wolverine's skeleton… minus the adamantium.
There's a gene called LRP5, which holds instructions for a protein with a mouthful of a name:
low density lipoprotein receptor-related protein 5.
Because it's a receptor-related protein, it's found in lots of your cell membranes,
and it's involved with chemical signaling between cells.
We know that LRP5 is part of what's known as the Wnt pathway,
a signaling pathway that affects lots of important cell processes, including cell development.
And some people have a gain-of-function mutation in LRP5,
meaning that the altered gene causes its protein to have a whole new function.
It seems this mutation can kickstart certain signaling pathways on your bone cells, making
them grow denser and bulkier—
conditions that are generally called osteosclerosis and hyperostosis.
Some people with these conditions don't have any health problems.
In fact, having extra-dense bones might mean they don't have to worry about breaking an arm
or fracturing their skull as much as the rest of us do.
But in other cases, this kind of mutation can cause too much hyperostosis, which can
lead to really severe forms of bone growth,
like where your skull puts pressure on your brain, or your bones pinch your nerves.
In any case, researchers want to study LRP5 to better understand how genetics can play
a role in bone growth,
like to understand what causes or can treat osteoporosis.
So next time you're daydreaming about superpowers while reading some X-Men comics,
keep in mind that we are all mutants in some way.
It's just that some of our mutations only affect our hair color or our tolerance for milk,
instead of giving us huge, awesome muscles.
This episode is brought to you by 23andMe, a personal genetic analysis company
created to help people understand their DNA.
The name '23andMe' comes from the fact that human DNA is organized into 23 pairs of chromosomes.
Through genetic analysis, 23andMe users can see which regions around the world their ancestors came from,
and learn how their DNA influences facial features and hair,
and sense of taste and smell, and sleep quality, and more.
Just a few weeks ago, I sent in my saliva for analysis.
Now that I have the results back, I have learned about my health, my ancestry, and my personal traits.
I've discovered that I'm 62% English Irish, but for some reason, 90% of my X Chromosome is French German!
That's weird! Also, my close DNA Relatives are 65% less likely to have skydived,
which I do not find surprising.
And I have 275 Neanderthal variants, which is less than most europeans so, basically,
I am a below average Neanderthal.
That's just a tiny glimpse, the whole report was so much fun to go through
and I feel bad I didn't get one for my wife too, so we could go through it together.
I can also learn about my predispositions to different diseases,
or choose to keep that information hidden if I would rather not know.
I can even get in touch with 23AndMe users who share my ancestry.
If you want to do the same—and also support SciShow—
it's super fun, and you can check out 23andMe.com/SciShow.

Humans ACCIDENTALLY Created Protective FORCE FIELD Around Earth & It's AWESOME - Duration: 5:54.
A few days ago, NASA's Van Allen probes, which are designed to study electrons and
ions in space, reported that there is actually an artificial barrier surrounding Earth created
by none other than, well, us,
and we didnt even know we were creating it!
This artificial barrier was the result of low frequency radio communications created
by human activity.
Very low frequency signals, or VLF, are often emitted by radio telescopes that have the
task of contacting submarines in the ocean.
But while most of the signals are sent down into the deep, dark waters, some signals also
float into the atmosphere, resulting in something called a VLF bubble that surrounds the earth.
The VLF bubble extends all the way to the inner edge of the Van Allen radiation belts,
3 belts that have energetic charged particles held by Earth's magnetic field.
The interaction between the VLF bubble and the radiation belts results in the artificial
barrier that we're talking about.
Phil Erickson, one of the scientists involved in the discovery, said:
In fact, if the VLF bubble didn't exist, then we would be much closer to the radiation
belt than we currently are.
As shown in data from the 1960s, the Van Allen radiation belt was actually much closer to
Earth back then than it is right now.
But the barrier is actually protecting the earth from space radiation.
Not only that, researchers also say that this barrier will be able to shield us from
other dangers like coronal mass ejections, which are explosions that occur on the sun
that may result in geomagnetic storms that can destroy communication satellites and power
grids as well as affect the weather in space.
Scientists are now saying that the barrier could also potentially remove excess radiation
around earth and are carrying out experiments as we speak.
A report over the weekend has announced that one of the strangest stars in the universe, the KIC 8462852,
also known as Tabby's Star, has started behaving very strangely again.
This star, nicknamed the 'alien megastructure star', was originally discovered in 2009
and is located 1,500 light years away from earth between the Cygnus and Lyre constellations
of our Milky Way galaxy.
This star is called the 'alien megastructure star' because in late 2015,
astronomers led by Tabetha Boyajian (AKA Tabby)
discovered that the star was emitting light in very strange patterns.
To give a little background info: stars usually emit light in very slight dips of less than
1 percent every few weeks, days, or months.
But to the astronomers' surprise, Tabby's star was emitting light dips of up to 22 percent!
And the strange thing was that the light dips didn't follow a particular pattern either,
which left astronomers and scientists completely baffled.
No one had a clue what was going on, and could think of no explanations as to why the star
was behaving the way it was.
As a result, one researcher offered the possibility that an 'alien megastructure' was messing
with the star, which is how it got it's nickname 'alien megastructure star'.
According to Jason Wright, Associate Professor of Astronomy and Astrophysics at Penn State,
the star started dimming again last Friday, and has already dimmed by 3 percent
in the matter of a few days.
He immediately tweeted about the phenomenon on twitter, which caused everyone in the astronomical
community to freak out and run for their telescopes.
The reason why this second dimming of the KIC 8462852 is so important is because it
allows researchers to gather more data about its bizarre dip patterns.
During the last dipping in 2015, astronomers were not able to collect enough data to provide
reasonable explanations about the strange star's light patterns.
Of course, people are even considering the possibility of alien intervention.
In fact, this star is one of the few phenomenons where no one has even discounted the aliens yet
That's how weird it is.
In fact, Wright believes that the star's irregular light emission is caused by something
like the dyson sphere we see in sci-fi movies, a huge alien sphere created around a star that surrounds
it and absorbs all of the energy output of the star so that lifeforms can live on the
star's surface.
Regarding wright's theory about the dyson sphere, Matt Muterspaugh says:

BREAKING: FBI Source Drops Comey Bombshell, People Are Going To Prison - Duration: 3:01.
The deep state has been working overtime to dismantle the Trump presidency.
These unelected bureaucrats threaten the integrity of our democracy, and the mainstream media
is protecting them.
Thankfully, there are still some honest journalists willing to expose the deep state swamp creatures.
Washington reporter Jack Posobiec announced that his FBI sources say that Comey dropped
the Susan Rice investigation because it would have implicated himself.
Look out, Comey! (via Investment Watch Blog).
The deep state operatives infesting the swamp and the mainstream media have been working
together to undermine the Trump presidency.
The Susan Rice investigation was mysteriously dropped with no further inquiry.
We demand the truth.
Unfortunately, when the mainstream media has a story they don't like, they simply ramp
up the news cycle.
The Susan Rice investigation was forgotten because of the media's leftist strategies.
The deep state loved it.
With these two anti-American groups working together, they will completely undermine our
democracy.
At least Donald Trump plans to drain the swamp.
With Trump in office, these deep state operatives will be charged for breaking the law, and
the mainstream media will have no more leaks to rely on.
Meanwhile, the corrupt Democrats are celebrating their petty victories.
With the deep state and the mainstream media working together, the radical Left is gaining
ground.
We cannot allow these leftist radicals to overtake our government.
The American people have rejected liberalism.
The silent majority voted for Trump, not Clinton.
We don't want these deep state Obama holdovers infesting our government.
We don't want to listen to the mainstream media's pathetic lies.
These anti-American forces have come together to form the perfect storm of political mischief.
We need to support Trump as he pushes back against extremist Democrats.
After eight years of Obama, the sheer amount of deep state operatives is terrifying.
There are so many operatives working against Trump — I'm surprised entire departments
haven't been replaced.
We need to hold Obama accountable for his anti-American policies and hiring decisions.
The Obama era left our government in a bloated and confused state, but Trump is going to
fix the Obama mess.
He is going to trim back the size of government, so that even if a Democrat gets into office,
they won't easily be entrenched in the swamp.
The deep state needs to be purged, and Donald Trump is the man for the job.
We will drain the swamp, and clean our the halls of our Capitol.
The mainstream media hates this.
They don't want to lose their leaks.
The mainstream media and the deep state are in trouble.
We cannot wait to witness the end of the swamp.

Tony Hawk's American Wasteland - Best Yet, or Beginning of Downward Spiral? | Skater Reviews - Duration: 17:54.
Today, we're taking a look at American Wasteland - the favorite of a lot of people here in
the comments.
Is it really that good?
Let's take a look.
Welcome to Rad Rat Video.
Here on the channel, we learn something new about skateboarding 3 times a week.
I talk about all kinds of skateboard topics, like trick histories, answering your questions
on AskRadRat, and game reviews of classic and obscure skateboarding games.
Today, it's American Wasteland.
We finally made it.
A lot of people have been asking me to do this, and I finally made it here.
Also, a ton of people have requested Project 8.
Keep in mind - I'm doing the whole series in order here.
So there's no need to request your favorite one - I'll get to it.
The only ones out of order are Downhill Jam and Tony Hawk HD, which I did before re-starting
the series.
OK, so let's get into American Wasteland.
This is the seventh game in the series.
And the 5th on the PS2 and the Xbox.
At this point, the series is starting to outgrow its engine.
They packed in a ton of new stuff here - some that doesn't last very long in the series.
And they did their absolute best to make the game feel open world.
To accomplish all of this stuff, they had to downgrade the resolution of the Xbox version
from 720 to 480p.
But of course, I can't really recommend the Xbox version anymore this late in the
series because the controls are just too complicated.
Let's talk about the new additions.
Here are the new tricks added into this game.
The first few hours of the game are tutorials…
There's so much stuff that it takes forever to get up to speed.
First is the parkour stuff.
You've got double jumps, wall runs and backflips.
You have to learn all this stuff from a french pastry chef - you know, because parkour is
french.
Next is the bank drops.
They really expanded on the acid drop and spine drop system in the game, and they put
in a lot of these banks, as store signs and sandwich boards and stuff.
You can spine transfer over it, and also revert, which looks different from the regular revert.
You've also got additional plants.
There are sticker slaps, but now there are wallplants on regular walls AND on vert, and
you can boneless out of a wallride.
Also on vert, you can do a 'to tail', which looks like this.
There are a couple more.
Like stalls on random stuff.
You can hold the right trigger when you do a grind, and you'll stall.
Aside from a couple of times in the story you have to do it, you will never do this
on purpose.
But you'll do it a lot on accident though.
You can use the trigger to spin, and then, if you don't let go on time, you'll stall
out on the rail.
I don't really understand this addition to the game.
It's not like you can just choose for a grind to not work and do a stall instead.
And if you could, I don't know why you'd want to.
Another thing you can do is bert slides.
Again, you'll do this in story mode, and maybe a couple of times on accident, but it
has very little actual use in the game.
The trick is a bert, or bertlemann slide, which is a real trick from back in the day.
I can see why they wanted to add this in, but it's just kind of there.
And on the Xbox, it uses up the trigger, which makes nollies really annoying, since they
get mapped to the white button.
One of the biggest changes though is the new animation system.
There are some pros and cons to it, but in general, I think it's a step up.
The 360 hardflip is FINALLY fixed.
Yeah, it's still super vertical, which nobody really does, but it's at least not wrong
anymore.
360 inward heels have become vertical, which is a little weird.
There are two really messed up changes though.
First is the nollie flips.
If you do a double or triple, your arm goes crazy and it looks like you have to REALLY
THROW it to get it to come around.
The other problem is with all the double and triple flip animations in every stance.
Sometimes they just don't flip.
Most of the time they look right, but every now and then, they don't flip enough, and
they just go really slow.
This is something that bothered me when the game came out, and it's still really annoying.
I just don't get why they did this.
The animation in this game isn't based on physics or anything.
It was all done by hand.
So somebody actually made a really slow kickflip animation for some reason.
They also added in "boned ollies".
It helps you get a little more height, kind of like a boneless, but you hold it like a
grab.
It's not worth as many points as an actual grab.
And you'll only do this in challenges a couple times.
They added in spin directions in this new system, and it has half cabs wrong.
Of course.
Every game has either nollie or fakie wrong because they're opposites.
I have a video about that you can check out on screen right now.
It doesn't really make sense, but that's how it is, and I've yet to see a game that
actually does it right.
They've also added in bikes.
There have been a lot of vehicles over the course of this series, including really weird
stuff like mechanical bulls.
But this time, the bike stuff is actually pretty well thought out.
And that's because it's based off of Matt Hoffman.
So the controls actually match that series instead of playing like Tony Hawk - you do
barspins and tailwhips with the right stick, and you hold the left trigger to do flips
and stuff.
It feels good, but I didn't really get into these challenges that much.
They're all really simple and not that interesting.
But it is cool that you get the option to ride around on a bike whenever you want.
But it's kind of annoying.
Sometimes you have to be on a bike to start a bike challenge.
So you look for the icon in your radar and you go jump on it.
But look at this one.
It's a bike challenge, but you actually have to be on a skateboard… then you get
on a bike when it starts.
And they just made the timer a little bit longer to make up for the animation of you
getting on the bike.
It just feels sloppy the way they set this up.
The last new thing I want to cover is the "open world" design.
If you couldn't hear the air quotes around "open world", there were 3 or 4.
What they did was make the different levels connect in different ways.
You have to ride through hallways and ditches and stuff to reach the next area.
As you skate through, the game not-so-subtly loads the next level.
From a gameplay perspective, this makes sense.
You can unlock an event in another area, but still stay where you are and skate for a while.
In THUG 1 and 2, it would just take you to the next level in a cutscene.
So it's definitely a good idea, but I think they were just way too proud of it.
There are a lot of times when you have to hurry and go back to Hollywood or East LA
or whatever.
You're running from the cops or trying to beat someone to the spot or whatever.
It works, and it's an impressive feat on the PS2 especially, but it's not FUN.
These corridors are pretty plain.
So I think that's pretty much it for the new features in this game.
There are a lot.
At this point, there are so many things you can do that you can end up doing something
unexpected.
Either you accidentally double tap something or hit A on accident and next thing you know,
you're flying in the wrong direction.
So it can be kind of annoying juggling all these new features, but you get used to it.
The game has 2 main modes, just like the last one - story mode and classic mode.
Let's take a quick look at classic mode.
This is the way I started the game.
In my THUG 2 review, I mentioned that this was more of an afterthought, but after finishing
the story mode, I realize that there's quite a bit of fresh content here.
It is quite a bit shorter though - at 6 levels instead of 9.
The ones that are returning are Downtown from Pro Skater 1 - which it renames Minneapolis.
There's another 'downtown' level in the story mode here, so it makes sense why
they had to do that.
You also get the Mall from Pro Skater 1, and Chicago too.
Chicago is kind of interesting.
Remember - this was a time when you couldn't even do manuals yet.
And here I am collecting stuff by getting off my board and climbing the wall.
That made the level feel much fresher.
Especially considering that this was originally a contest level.
But there's nothing that feels too recycled here.
Aside from those, you've got 3 new levels - assuming you've only been playing the
console versions, like me so far.
Starting with: Santa Cruz.
This level has a lot in common with Santa Monica in the story mode.
I think they probably re-used some of the assets from the pier area and some other stuff.
It still feels pretty unique though.
But it doesn't play that well as a classic level.
It's the same problem as the THUG 2 classic mode - these levels are just too big.
There is a ton of space to cover to try to find the SKATE letters and all of the other
goals.
There are so many nooks and crannies here that stuff can be hiding anywhere.
And here's the thing - this isn't a classic level.
This is actually taken from Tony Hawk's Underground 2 Remix on the PSP.
And it's not the only one.
Kyoto was in THUG 2 remix first as well.
This level is, again, a bit too big to be a classic level.
It took me forever to find all of the arcade machines I was supposed to smash.
Lastly is The Ruins.
This level seems to have a lot in common with the East LA level in the main story, but it's
actually taken from Tony Hawk's Project 8 on the PSP.
I mean, it is the ruins of LA, so I guess it makes sense that it would feel the same.
But this time, I think the American Wasteland level came first, and this was taken from
it.
Also - there's a collector's edition on the PS2, which has a couple extra levels - namely
Marseille from Pro Skater 2, and Atlanta, which was from THUG 2 Remix.
I'll have to play these at some point, but I'm sure there aren't any major surprises.
But in any case, you know how this mode works - get SKATE letters, high scores, and collect
stuff.
At this point in the series, this is really starting to wear on me.
But I'm not necessarily sick of it.
I think I could go back and play Pro Skater 2 or 3 and have a great time.
But there's just something about the way this feels that just doesn't work right
anymore.
I think it's just the fact that there's so much going on here that's ignored.
ESPECIALLY this version, because you never see the story mode challenges that take place
here.
Like that crater.
Why is it there?
It's just random meaningless decoration at this point.
This is unexplained in this game, but apparently in THUG 2 Remix, there is a giant fight between
Godzilla and Ultraman and that's what caused this.
I really have to check that game out.
I played it back in the day but I don't remember any of this stuff.
So that's why this mode fails.
Not because it's bad or broken, but just because it doesn't have that handmade feel
that the original games had.
It's worth checking out at least, but it's not the biggest draw of the game.
Let's take a look at the story mode.
I'm not going to go into extreme detail here, because there's a lot to cover.
But I'll talk about the main points at least.
When you start the game, you pick from one of 5 skaters that just moved to LA.
It's weird that you can't just make them from scratch like in every other game.
There's enough customization that it's not a huge deal, but I didn't really see
anyone I liked and I ended up being this army-looking guy.
You meet Mindy, who wants to start a skating magazine called "American Wasteland."
She helps you get into the skate ranch, which you have to do by gaining everyone's approval.
This is probably the biggest theme of the game - getting approval from people and proving
you're legit.
You do it here, with a skate gang later, with a graffiti gang, and with other pro skaters
at the end.
And of course, you gain approval by doing tricks.
At first, it's just training stuff.
You learn how to do wall flips and Natas spins and all that kind of stuff that I talked about
earlier.
Once you can do everything the guys can do, you're in.
The Skate Ranch is the main goal in the game.
You help finish a vert ramp they're working on, and next thing you know, you're going
all over the game world, finding stuff to break, steal and take back to the ranch.
Once it gets sent there, you can go back to the Ranch and break stuff in.
You'll see how that piece was installed at the park, and you have to get a high score
on it.
It's always really easy, but the point of these challenges are just to make sure you
see it all and get a chance to skate it.
This part is pretty cool.
But since there's only one Mindy, you have to do them all in order.
Break one in, and the next one appears.
Repeat a few dozen times until she stops popping back up in the radar.
Apparently, the guy who runs the Ranch, Iggy, is a wanted felon, and you accidentally out
him, which gets him arrested.
So you have to get him out.
While working on that, you have to join the Skate Club.
These guys are anti-corporate greed and materialism.
So to impress them, you have to take off your shirt and shoes and do… freestyle tricks
in a parking garage.
I bet you didn't see that coming.
This event is pretty cool.
The camera moves around and gives you some interesting angles.
Since all you really need to worry about is the balance meter, it doesn't really cause
any problems, and it looks cool.
Once you beat them all, you have to beat the best freestyler around.
Any guesses who it might be?
Who's the best freestyle skater that's ever been in a Tony Hawk game?
That's right - Daewon Song!
Wait, what?
Yeah, it's kind of weird, but they use Mullen later to show you how to invent tricks, which
makes a lot of sense too.
You later meet Tony Alva, and find out about a legendary skatepark buried under the skate
ranch.
You start the process of digging it up by doing a lot of favors for guys on an oil rig.
Yeah, this is the same oil rig that was exclusive to Tony Hawk 3 on the Xbox.
It's got some changes to it, and a lot of challenges.
One thing I like about the way the challenges work now is these popups.
So when you have to grind something or do a certain gap, it's always very clear exactly
what you're supposed to do.
You don't have to worry about accidentally skipping a cutscene and not knowing what's
going on.
After that, you have to get to East LA to help Boone, who got in trouble with his old
gang.
To help him, you have to actually join that gang.
To prove you're legit, you have to do skate missions, BMX missions, and, of course, tagging.
Again, tagging is really important in this game, and I just don't like it.
I know it was cool at the time that you could tag something and the game would remember,
but that isn't exactly impressive these days.
To prove yourself to the gang, you have to help this guy finish tags all over the game
world.
When you get enough, he teaches you the trademark style of that area.
You need to make a tag with every style included in it.
Up until this point, I had just been ignoring this guy.
Now, I didn't have a choice, and that kind of sucked.
This is one of the ways the game forces pacing.
You can't just do the story stuff and beat the game right away.
Another example is getting to the oil rig from earlier.
You need gas money for the boat.
Don't have enough money?
Better go do some more challenges.
Can't afford the tattoo to join the gang?
Better go to some more challenges.
Luckily, this really rich bum loves to give you money to do mini challenges like doing
tricks he calls out or finding gaps.
It was a good idea to pace the game out like this and make sure people see everything there
is to see.
It was just annoying when it was the tag and BMX stuff that I wasn't really into.
Anyway, you get Boone out, Iggy gets bail, and punches you in the face for digging up
that skatepark.
Apparently, he knew it was there, but he didn't own the land yet.
He was saving up to buy it, but now that everyone knows, the price is going to go through the
roof.
Luckily, there's a plan.
You get a bunch of skaters together and film a video to sell.
The proceeds will go to buy the land, and finish the skatepark.
How do you convince pro skaters to help you out?
I think you already know.
You have to prove yourself.
Most of the time, at least.
Ryan Sheckler wants you to help him steal a Jeep.
What a tool.
The one with Tony Hawk is kind of funny.
You insult him for blowing thousands of dollars shopping on Rodeo drive, and he has to show
you that he can still skate, so he shows off some tricks he invented, including the hurricane,
which he apparently invented too.
I didn't know that one.
Oh, and get this - Tony does 900s on the regular.
I didn't know that either.
Anyway, the video these guys help film is such a huge success that you buy the ranch
with pre-order money alone.
The game ends with a dramatic chase scene with the police that goes through ALL OF THE
LOADING ZONES.
Yeah, these aren't fun normally, and trying to get through everything on a timer in the
dark doesn't make it any better.
But it was dramatic at least.
Get that done, and you finally get the girl.
And you pay to get her magazine project off the ground.
So that's the story mode.
With all of the new innovations in the gameplay, there aren't a ton of new challenge types
to talk about, but there really don't need to be.
This game has a lot going on as-is, and is probably the longest of the games that I've
played so far.
As you can probably tell from the run time of this video.
So - is this game any good?
Yeah, I think it is.
I like the feel of the game, and I think the story is very interesting and cool by Tony
Hawk standards.
Things get a bit repetitive, but it throws new ideas at you fairly often too.
You'll have a good time if you pick this up.
But what version should you get?
I'd probably go PS2 for this one, but there's actually a surprise contender this time, the
Xbox 360.
Yeah, there's a 360 version of this game, making it the first "next gen" Tony Hawk
game from that period.
I don't have a 360, and I haven't gotten the chance to play it - so let me know in
the comments what this version of the game is like.
Apparently it uses all the same models and assets from the PS2 version, it just has higher
resolution textures, better lighting, and higher resolution output.
So that's probably the version to go with if your 360 still works.
Otherwise, you're not missing out on anything.
Let me know what your experiences are with this game - is it your favorite?
I've seen some comments saying this one is the best.
I can't really agree with that because I think it's just bloated with features at
this point, but it's definitely not bad.
Next up in my Tony Hawk game review series is Project 8.
This might take me a while because there are two different versions - the PS3 and the Xbox,
which are quite different.
I haven't had to deal with that since Pro Skater 4.
There's actually a PSP version too, but we'll get to that some other time.

You'll learn something new about skateboarding 3 times a week, and you'll get all kinds
of content like this stuff here.

>> Nicole: I'm sorry, you said I have...?
>> Dr. Caspary: Amenorrhea, an abnormal absence of
menstruation.
You've missed a few periods, but there's no pregnancy.
You've experience pelvic pain.
Those are all symptoms.
>> Nicole: Okay, so, what does this mean?
What causes it?
>> Dr. Caspary: Any number of things.
Menopause, contraceptives, certain medications.
In your case, it stems from your pregnancy.
>> Nicole: Oh, okay.
My pregnancy made me irregular.
So what can I do to get back on track?
Is there something I can take?
>> Dr. Caspary: It's not that simple, Nicole.
You have uterine scarring, also from your pregnancy,
making it difficult for the egg to be picked up by the fallopian
tubes and decreasing your chances of becoming pregnant.
>> Nicole: What?
>> Dr. Caspary: You might have a condition called
Secondary Infertility.
>> Nicole: Infertility?
But that doesn't make any sense.
I can have a baby. I had a baby.
>> Dr. Caspary: Yes, but you may not be able to conceive again.
Because of the scarring, there's a chance that you can't become
pregnant or carry a pregnancy to term.
Sometimes this happens after childbirth.
>> Nicole: Can't conceive...
Like, ever?
No. That's unacceptable.
Zende and I are going to have a family.
That's the plan.
I had one baby.
I can have another, and another after that.
So don't tell me that it can't happen.
>> Dr. Caspary: I know this is a lot for you to absorb.
>> Nicole: It's crazy!
I'm young. I'm healthy.
I had Lizzy. She's healthy.
No!
There's nothing wrong with me.
I can have another child.
We will treat this...condition.
It won't stop us from having our family.
It can't.

BIGGER Biceps Made Easy (SUPER FAST SUPER-SETS!) - Duration: 7:07.
What's up champ! I'm Vince Del Monte of
GeneExpressionTraining.com
In this video we've got BIGGER biceps made easy.
Easy in the context that it's not going
to take up a lot of room OR you're not
going to need a lot of exercise
equipment. So you have no excuse whether
you're a beginner or an advanced guy
[Music]
I'm going to take you through this workout
Show you exactly how to do it.
I'm going to show you exactly what to think
about. I'm going to give you some
specific tips to make sure you pick the
right weight so whether you want to go
from thirteen or fourteen inch arms or
17- 18 inch arms, this workout will get
the job done.
Alright. So before we jump into this
super fast, super efficient super-set
workout, I want to quickly talk about super
sets. There's five kind of super set
workouts. There's probably more but
there's five most popular ones that
you're familiar with. Method 1 is when
we pre-fatigue the muscle so you might
do a pec fly with a bench press. We have
post fatigue where we may do a chin-up
within a hammer curl. We have super
setting antagonist muscles so like a
chest movement with a back movement. We
also have upper lower super sets where
we maybe do a shoulder press then with a
squat.So there's a lot of different ways
to superset. The superset method we're
using today is called Isolation Superset.
So we're isolating the same body part
with two exercises so we're doing two
bicep exercises back to back but they're
not just any random exercises. They're
exercises that challenge different parts
of the strength curve. So we're not just
selecting two exercises that hit the
shorten range and then two that hit the
lengthen range because that would be
redundant and that would create
unnecessary fatigue. We want to hit all
ranges of the strength curve so that's
how I've set this workout up. So let's
get into it.
Exercise number 1 here are incline
dumbbell curls and what you're going to
be doing here is a set of ten and then
we're going to stand up and we're going
to be doing standing hammer curls
alternating until failure. Alright. These
are our first two exercises. It's very
very simple guys. You're going to do
three sets of ten and then you're going
to go right into the superset to failure.
Last week when I did this workout I did
3 sets of 10 with 35's the
entire workout. So this week knowing that
I want to coax my gains
I'm starting a little bit heavier. I'm
going to aim for just my first set with
40 pounds alright. That's the name of the
game when you're trying to get better.
We're not trying to make leaps and
bounds in our progress. We just want micro
progressions. As you can see I get my ten
reps and then I rest for ten seconds and
then
I stand up and I go right into an
alternating dumbbell hammer curl.
So when you're doing these hammer curls I really
want you to think about keeping an
upright torso, contracted abs so you're
not using your trunk to swing and doing
your best to create all the movement at
your elbow. A little bit at the shoulders
is fine too.
After superset one we rest for 90
seconds. You notice I've got my stop
watch here and then we do this again.
Now anticipating the fatigue that's going to
set in I've gone down to 35's. Now that's
okay. A lot of people are going to ask
what if I can't complete 10 reps. This is
a metabolic stress workout so the goal
of this workout is to create a lot of
fatigue within the muscle. So it's more
important that you hit your goal reps
than keeping the weight heavy. So it's
okay if you have to drop the weight from
set to set. I prefer that you start off
heavier and drop the weight as the sets go
on. That's going to promote a better
quality workout. You'll notice on this
third set when you're doing the incline
curls you're going to really start
seeing the most amount of fatigue
obviously. So this is where it's okay to
even goe to an alternative grip to get
those last few reps as you can see that
I'm doing here. And then finally when we
stand up for the final hammer curls
you're just contracting as hard as you
can keeping all the tension on your
muscles. You know the name of the game
here guys is time under tension with
good quality loads. Alright. Time under
tension. We've got to make the muscles
burn, Alright. So now once you're done
that you're halfway through the workout.
The next combo are prone incline reverse
dumbbell curls superset with prone
supine dumbbell curls. As you can see
what I'm doing here. Now the goal here
guys on the first exercise is to
challenge that brachialis that
brachioradialis. The brachialis is an
interesting muscle because it gets
underneath the biceps so when you
develop it, it helps push your biceps out
kind of like the soleus underneath the
calf. When you develop the soleus you
built that push that Gastroc out too.
So this is very important if you want
bigger arms. You can't neglect your
reverse curls. After 10 seconds we go
right into our supine curls. As you
guys likely know and can feel the
hardest parts at the top. That's the best
part so don't waste what I call the
don't wait to the end. Alright so we
want to really hang tough through that
top range try and hang out there get a
good contraction. Don't rush through the
best part of the movement. Also don't
waste the negative on the way back down.
So controlling the weight upwards and
downwards try not to swing. Think about
squeezing the muscles not swinging the
weight. So that's it guys. Six sets on
arms. Four good exercises hitting all
points of the strength curve. What you'll
notice is that this workout really
increases a lot of lactic acid
production and lactic acid helps trigger
the anterior pituitary gland that helps
release growth hormone which is a very
anabolic hormone that helps leaning down
and build muscle. And if you feel a
little pukie during this workout, that's
pretty normal because of the amount of
work we did in a short period of time,
that lactic acid really can cause that
like oh I kind of feel like feel like
I'm gonna puke.Iif you're experiencing
that, that's a good sign. It means you're
working hard. So a lot of people report
that training smaller body parts more
frequently is a great recipe for faster
results.
I found this myself but the key is to
keep the volume lower just as we've
prescribed like in this video. You can't
do a 2 hour arm workout three times
per week. That's just stupid.
But if you do these shorter more intense
workouts, the superset style workouts,
doing this two three times per week
might be the exact recipe you need to
build bigger biceps. Alright guys I hope
you guys enjoyed that workout. If you did
be sure to give it a thumbs up. If you

biceps for triceps let me know in the

train smarter and now the results are
more rewarding when I do see gains.
Alright thank you so much for

The Relationship Block - Duration: 7:02.
Hey everybody. This is Eric Worre and
welcome to Networkmarketingpro.com. I
work with six and seven figure earners
around the world; many, many thousands of them.
I work with several hundred seven
figure a year earners and one of the
things that is common, the challenges
that is common to a high level earner
inside of network marketing. You think
there's no challenges, it's all you know,
sit on the beach and everything's cool.
There's challenges. Sometimes the extra
income and the extra organization
requires more of you. It requires more
effort, more focus, more consistency,
more skill, more vision, but one of the
really common challenges is one that you
probably wouldn't pick as an obvious one.
And here's the challenge, relationships.
You say well, wait a minute, relationships
shouldn't be a challenge for a top
earner because we build our organization
based upon relationships. We have you
know, we have our relationship with our
prospects and our team. We have
relationships all over the place.
We're good at relationships. We're
relationship professionals. Well yes,
however, the block to going to the next
level for most six and seven figure
earners, one of the big box. Now there's
you know there's half a dozen big, big
topics that need to be discussed if you
want to really go to the top inside of
network marketing. But one of them is
relationships. Now what do I mean by
relationships? You might think it's just
relationships with your team. Yes, that's
true.
There's an art as a leader to building
the right kind of relationship with your
team. The relationship that still has
power and authority and friendship, but
not too much familiarity. If you have too
much familiarity people won't respect
you. They won't listen to you. Some of you
leaders you're nodding your head. You're
going yeah that's true. I got too
familiar with my team and I lost respect
within the organization. So how do you
balance that? That's something that needs
to be addressed. Another relationship is
relationships with people cross line
with you. Relationships cross line with
people in other organizations
inside of your company. Managing
that so it doesn't become us versus them.
Managing that where you still keep pride
in your team, but you don't create
monsters and political drama within the
organization. That's an important topic
that needs to be mastered. A third area
is relationships with your home office.
You might think well you know hey I do
my thing, they do their thing. I don't
need to worry about that. I promise you,
you want to go to the top within the
this network marketing profession, having
a strong relationship with your home
office is vital and there's a number of
strategies that you need to incorporate
in order to be able to maximize your
relationship with the people at the home
office.
It is smart business and it's necessary
for those who want to go to the top
inside of network marketing. And a fourth
area that I deal with all the time, when
I do private coaching or events, small
events in our home for 6 and 7 figure
earners, those types of things. Guess what
I end up spending most of the time on?
Relationships at home. Some of you are
working together as a couple and there
are dynamics there that you need to
examine. Some of you are more, one is more
dominant than the other and growing the
organization and there's guilt
there and there's resentment
that there and there's a lot
of what ends up being marriage
counseling that I end up doing. So
relationships at home, relationship with
your kids, relationships with your spouse,
relationships with your family in
growing your business is that important.
We don't want to just get a big business
and lose our family, do we? So how do you
keep focused and vision
filled and driven. And at the same time,
have the relationships and allow the
people in the family to find their place
without you trying to make them go into
a place. I see too many people trying to
make their spouse become a builder like
them or trying to make their spouse who
wants to be a builder just stay at home
and take care of the kids and support
them as the builder. Too much of that, so
balancing all of this stuff is
a major dynamic in growing a huge
organization inside of network marketing.
Now the million dollar earners and above,
they've mastered this. Now they're not
all perfect, but they pay attention to
these things. They explore these things.
They understand that this is...these
relationships is the value of their life
and it's the value of the organizations
that they're growing. So I tell you all
this because leadership is on my mind
lately and the reason why it is is
normally I have a Six Figure Summit
Event that I do each year at the end of
the year, right prior to Go Pro
Recruiting Mastery. It's a two-day event.
This year I'm holding the Six Figure
Summit Online for 6 & 7 figure earners
and for people who expect to be 6 or 7
figure earner soon. And it's coming up
very, very quickly. It's coming up right
at the 1st of June and it's going to be
a 3 plus hour event of the condense, the
best practices, we're going to spend a
lot of time talking about tactics and
strategies when it comes to
relationships. But we're also going to be
talking about case studies and best
practices from around the world. We're
going to be talking about how to
experience a breakthrough as a leader if
you're in a slump. We're going to talk
about lots of different things. So if you
consider yourself a 6 or 7
figure earner or you expect to be one
soon, you need to attend this special
broadcast event of the Six Figure Summit
Online. So I would encourage you to go to
there's probably a link on
this page somewhere to be able to click
and register for that event. You're going
to learn the time, the date, you're going
to learn all the information that you
need in order to be able to get
registered. And I promise you this, 100%
guarantee it's going to help you make
more money faster. It's really
going to be amazing stuff. I'm
preparing myself massively
with all kinds of things that I've
collected over this last year from all
over the world, all the stuff that's
working the best and I'm going to be
sharing that with you when you attend. So
get yourself register for that. If you
know somebody who is a 6 & 7 figure
earner, make sure that they register for
it. I look forward to seeing everybody
then. Until then my wish for you is
that you decide to become a network
marketing professional. That you decide
to Go Pro because it is a stone-cold
fact that we do have a better way. Now let's go
tell the world. Everybody have an amazing
day and I'll see you next time. Take care.
Bye-bye.

Superhero Actors Who Look Nothing Like They Used To - Duration: 5:22.
For as long as Hollywood's been making movie magic, ambitious actors and actresses have
squeezed themselves into spandex hotpants, worn clunky prosthetics, and otherwise pushed
themselves to the physical limits* to portray some of our favorite superheroes.
But after shooting wrapped, not all of those stars stayed in peak crime-fighting condition.
Here are some silver-screen heroes you'd never recognize today.
Chris Evans
Don't worry, Chris Evans still looks every inch the Captain America you know and love
— but he also doesn't look anything like he did back in his first stint as a Marvel
superhero in 2005's Fantastic Four.
Most people have forgotten that Evans ever starred in that franchise, probably because
when he played the Human Torch, the actor looked less like himself and more like Chris
Evans' smaller, hairier little brother — with a regrettable haircut.
If Evans could go back in time, he'd only have one thing to say to his younger self:
"Son, just don't."
Tobey Maguire
Tobey Maguire still made a believable onscreen teenager back in 2002, when Sam Raimi finally
got his hands on the superhero franchise he'd always wanted and cast the 20-something actor
as Spider-Man.
Since then, however, the actor has experienced a lot of life changes: celebrating his 40th
birthday, becoming a father, and trading his youthful musculature for a physical condition
most famously known as "dadbod."
Liam Neeson
Before he launched the career renaissance that turned him into everyone's favorite Action
Dad, Liam Neeson starred in one of the weirdest superhero movies of the 20th century: the
1990 cult classic Darkman.
The film was the brainchild of Sam Raimi, who wanted to direct a superhero flick but
hadn't quite gotten the whole Army of Darkness aesthetic out of his system.
In Darkman, Neeson spent most of his screen time looking less like Bryan Mills and more
like a wayward extra from The Walking Dead.
Needless to say, he looks very different now: nearly 30 years older, and with, you know,
an actual face on his face.
Michael Keaton
Batman made a huge impact on moviegoers back in 1989* — with the now-65-year-old Michael
Keaton playing the man in the suit.
Because superhero standards were a bit different back then, Keaton might actually have more
muscle nowadays than he ever did as Batman, now that he's suiting up for another superhero
movie adventure.
Back then, he had to keep his weight in check in order to avoid outgrowing the unforgiving
rubber bat-suit.
"They don't make them like they used to!"
But he's definitely lost certain elements of his trademark superhero look… including
some hair.
Val Kilmer
Back in 1995, Val Kilmer followed in Keaton's footsteps to become the superhero star of
Batman Forever.
Notably, he also became the first Caped Crusader to wear the infamous nippled bat-suit...which,
let's be honest, is actually the most accurate bat-suit.
But in the 20 years since he bested the Riddler and saved Gotham City, Kilmer has definitely
not kept up with his superhero workouts… or even his hair, apparently.
Whatever Kilmer's been up to in the intervening years, it's safe to say he'll have his work
cut out for him if he wants to take his old costume out for a nostalgic spin.
Anna Paquin
Back in the beginning of Bryan Singer's X-Men franchise, Anna Paquin was a young brunette
who hadn't yet shed her teenage baby fat.
And now?
She's a grown-up blonde in her thirties with two actual babies of her own and a starring
role on HBO's True Blood.
Although she's stunning in both roles, the Anna of today is practically unrecognizable
as the girl with the deadly touch who attended Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters.
Dolph Lundgren
Lantern-jawed, dark-haired, and oozing intimidation, back in 1989 Dolph Lundgren became the first
feature-film incarnation of Frank Castle, better known as The Punisher.
However, Lundgren's brunette locks only lasted as long as the movie did — and nearly 30
years later, he doesn't look a thing like that vengeance-obsessed anti-hero.
The big Swede has long since gone back to his original blond, which is coming in platinum
at the roots as he approaches 60.
And while he's still in terrific shape, he's morphed from a baby-faced Punisher into a
craggy, cranky member of the Expendables.
He still loves those big scary guns, though.
Alec Baldwin
Lately, this Hollywood A-lister — and sometime-presidential impersonator — sports a luxurious head of
silver hair and an age-appropriate bit of paunch around his midsection.
But he cut a lean, tall-dark-and-handsome silhouette back in 1994, when he played the
hypnotically gifted pulp hero The Shadow.
Baldwin's brief foray into superhero films saw him wearing a greasy wig and some scary
prosthetic fingernails, along with a very respectable set of crime-fighter's pecs.
Billy Zane
In the vast pantheon of superhero flicks, Billy Zane's turn as the gun-slinging, horse-wrangling,
purple-spandex-wearing star of The Phantom often goes overlooked.
But it happened, and there's no taking that back.
That was in 1996, and Zane's appearance has dramatically changed in the intervening decades.
Back then, he was in peak crime-fighting condition with a shredded, screen-ready physique, not
to mention a full head of hair.
Now, he's bald and sporting a bit more padding around his midsection — although that might
be intentional, so he can better fill out his role as the latest celebrity KFC spokes-Colonel.
Whatever the reason, more power to him.
Because you know what they say...
"Listen to your friend Billy Zane.
He's a cool dude."

The Mars Project! Von Braun's Ideas for a Mars Mission. Collaboration with Vintage Space - Duration: 11:13.
Did you know that it's been almost 45 years since humans walked on the surface of the
Moon?
Of course you do.
Anyone who loves space exploration obsesses about the last Apollo landings, and counts
the passing years of sadness.
Sure, SpaceX, Blue Origins and the new NASA Space Launch Systems rocket offer a tantalizing
future in space.
But 45 years.
Ouch, so much lost time.
What would happen if we could go back in time?
What amazing and insane plans did NASA have to continue exploring the Solar System?
What alternative future could we have now, 45 years later?
In order to answer this question, I've teamed up with my space historian friend, Amy Shira
Teitel, who runs the Vintage Space blog and YouTube Channel.
We've decided to look at two groups of missions that never happened.
In her part, Amy talks about the Apollo Applications Program; NASA's original plans before the
human exploration of the Moon was shut down.
More Apollo missions, the beginnings of a lunar base, and even a human flyby of Venus.
In my half of the series, I look at Werner Von Braun's insanely ambitious plans to
send a human mission to Mars.
Put our two episodes together and you can imagine a space exploration future with all
the ambition of the Kerbal Space Program.
Keep mind here that we're not going to constrain ourselves with the pesky laws of physics,
and the reality of finances.
These ideas were cool, and considered by NASA engineers, but they weren't necessarily
the best ideas, or even feasible.
So, 2 parts, tackle them in any order you like.
My part begins right now.
Werner Von Braun, of course, was the architect for NASA's human spaceflight efforts during
the space race.
It was under Von Braun's guidance that NASA developed the various flight hardware for
the Mercury, Gemini and Apollo missions including the massive Saturn V rocket, which eventually
put a human crew of astronauts on the Moon and safely returned them back to Earth.
Von Braun was originally a German rocket scientist, pivotal to the Nazi "rocket team", which
developed the ballistic V-2 rockets.
These unmanned rockets could carry a 1-tonne payload 800 kilometers away.
They were developed in 1942, and by 1944 they were being used in war against Allied targets.
By the end of the war, Von Braun coordinated his surrender to the Allies as well as 500
of his engineers, including their equipment and plans for future rockets.
In "Operation Paperclip", the German scientists were captured and transferred to the White
Sands Proving Ground in New Mexico, where they would begin working on the US rocket
efforts.
Before the work really took off, though, Von Braun had a couple of years of relative downtime,
and in 1947 and 1948, he wrote a science fiction novel about the human exploration of Mars.
The novel itself was never published, because it was terrible, but it also contained a detailed
appendix containing all the calculations, mission parameters, hardware designs to carry
out this mission to Mars.
In 1952, this appendix was published in Germany as "Das Marsproject", or "The Mars Project".
And an English version was published a few years later.
Collier's Weekly Magazine did an 8-part special on the Mars Project in 1952, captivating
the world's imagination.
With a little Googling, you should be able to get your hands on the original Mars Project
book, or the Colliers magazine.
I'll put a link in the notes.
Here's the plan: In the Mars Project, Von Braun envisioned a vast armada of spaceships
that would make the journey from Earth to Mars.
They would send a total of 10 giant spaceships, each of which would weigh about 4,000 tonnes.
Just for comparison, a fully loaded Saturn V rocket could carry about 140 tonnes of payload
into Low Earth Orbit.
In other words, they'd need a LOT of rockets.
Von Braun estimated that 950 three-stage rockets should be enough to get everything into orbit.
All the ships would be assembled in orbit, and 70 crewmembers would take to their stations
for an epic journey.
They'd blast their rockets and carry out a Mars Hohmann transfer, which would take
them 8 months to make the journey from Earth to Mars.
The flotilla consisted of 7 orbiters, huge spheres that would travel to Mars, go into
orbit and then return back to Earth.
It also consisted of 3 glider landers, which would enter the Martian atmosphere and stay
on Mars.
Once they reached the Red Planet, they would use powerful telescopes to scan the Martian
landscape and search for safe and scientifically interesting landing spots.
The first landing would happen at one of the planet's polar caps, which Von Braun figured
was the only guaranteed flat surface for a landing.
At this point, it's important to note that Von Braun assumed that the Martian atmosphere
was about as thick as Earth's.
He figured you could use huge winged gliders to aerobrake into the atmosphere and land
safely on the surface.
He was wrong.
The atmosphere on Mars is actually only 1% as thick as Earth's, and these gliders would
never work.
Newer missions, like SpaceX's Red Dragon and Interplanetary Transport Ship will use
rockets to make a powered landing.
I think if Von Braun knew this, he could have modified his plans to still make the whole
thing work.
Once the first expedition landed at one of the polar caps, they'd make a 6,400 kilometer
journey across the harsh Martian landscape to the first base camp location, and build
a landing strip.
Then two more gliders would detach from the flotilla and bring the majority of the explorers
to the base camp.
A skeleton crew would remain in orbit.
Once again, I think it's important to note that Von Braun didn't truly understand how
awful the surface of Mars really is.
The almost non-existent atmosphere and extreme cold would require much more sophisticated
gear than he had planned for.
But still, you've got to admire his ambition.
At this point in the story, Von Braun's Mars adventurers have set up shop on the surface
of the Red Planet, and shortly, I'll let you know the thrilling conclusion.
First, though, it's time to thank a few of our amazing patrons Matt Dalpe, Tripp Bishop,
Terri Harshman, JMAutobot, and the rest of our 731 patrons for their generous support.
If you love what we're doing and want to help out, head over to patreon.com/universetoday.
With the Mars explorer team on the ground, their first task was to turn their glider-landers
into rockets again.
They would stand them up and get them prepped to blast off from the surface of Mars when
their mission was over.
The Martian explorers would set up an inflatable habitat, and then spend the next 400 days
surveying the area.
Geologists would investigate the landscape, studying the composition of the rocks.
Botanists would study the hardy Martian plant life, and seeing what kinds of Earth plants
would grow.
Zoologists would study the local animals, and help figure out what was dangerous and
what was safe to eat.
Archeologists would search the region for evidence of ancient Martian civilizations,
and study the vast canal network seen from Earth by astronomers.
Perhaps they'd even meet the hardy Martians that built those canals, struggling to survive
to this day.
Once again, in the 1940s, we thought Mars would be like the Earth, just more of a desert.
There'd be plants and animals, and maybe even people adapted to the hardy environment.
With our modern knowledge, this sounds quaint today.
The most brutal desert on Earth is a paradise compared to the nicest place on Mars.
Von Braun did the best he could with the best science of the time.
Finally, at the end of their 400 days on Mars, the astronauts would blast off from the surface
of Mars, meet up with the orbiting crew, and the entire flotilla would make the return
journey to Earth using the minimum-fuel Mars-Earth transfer trajectory.
Although Von Braun got a lot of things wrong about his Martian mission plan, such as the
thickness of the atmosphere and habitability of Mars, he got a lot of things right.
He anticipated a mission plan that required the least amount of fuel, by assembling pieces
in orbit, using the Hohmann transfer trajectory, exploring Mars for 400 days to match up Earth
and Mars orbits.
He developed the concept of using orbiters, detachable landing craft and ascent vehicles,
used by the Apollo Moon missions.
The missions never happened, obviously, but Von Braun's ideas served as the backbone
for all future human Mars mission plans.
I'd like to give a massive thanks to the space historian David S.F.
Portree.
He wrote an amazing book called Humans to Mars, which details 50 years of NASA plans
to send humans to the Red Planet, including a fantastic synopsis of the Mars Project.
I'll put a link to his book in the show notes.
I asked David about how Von Braun's ideas influenced human spaceflight, he said it was
his...
"The reliance on a conjunction-class long-stay mission lasting 400 days.
That was gutsy - in the 1960s, NASA and contractor planners generally stuck with opposition-class
short-stay missions.
In recent years we've seen more emphasis on the conjunction-class mission mode, sometimes
with a relatively short period on Mars but lots of time in orbit, other times with almost
the whole mission spent on the surface."
Well, what do you think about Von Braun's ambitious plans to send humans to Mars?
How do you think this compares to our more modern plans?
Are there other ideas about the human colonization of Mars you'd like me to look into?
What would you like Amy and I to investigate next?
Let me know your thoughts in the comments.
Next episode.
Fusion, it'll be about fusion.
Seriously.
Maybe?

As I said, this is a collaboration with Amy Shira Teitel, so you're going to watch what
she's got to say about the mission Moon missions.
I've created a playlist that starts with Amy's video, and then carries on to other

GTA 5 Money Glitch, Streetcar Duplication (not solo) Grand Theft Auto 5 unlimited Money Glitch - Duration: 5:40.
what's up you guys and welcome to this
segment right here and you're sheriff
let's start off by saying something good
we are going to give away a $10 shark
card to anybody that's going to
represent on this channel by dropping a
comment and clicking that like button of
course you have to be subscribed and
this is to celebrate the brand new DLC
that's going to come toward us anytime
now so if you want to be ready you know
what to do so drop a comment click that
like button and be part of the channel
also make sure you got the notifications
on glitches are coming in and out super
fast now Rockstar is even working on
long weekends they're working on normal
weekends
they are patching these things super
fast so the last thing you want is
something like the glitch that was
available yesterday giving you the
option to duplicate 20 cars in a matter
of 10 minutes but that thing got patched
super fast so let me tell you a little
bit about stuff that's happening in the
community and at the same time I'm going
to show you a duplication glitch that
doesn't require the blue circle so this
way if you are screwed like me and you
can't pull a friend into your garage you
don't have to worry about that blue
circle whatsoever okay as we see the
gameplay in the background I'm going to
say a big thanks to wavy gamer for
providing the gameplay for that he
managed to hit this duplication glitch I
tried to do it with Adrienne with jumped
multiple lobbies but we couldn't get it
going but I also did not put much time
into it because we want to stream with
you guys so I figured you know what
let's give a shout out to wavy gamer and
at the same time demonstrate this glitch
right here for you guys the beauty about
this like I said in the beginning you
don't have to worry about the blue
circle so if you've been then detected
you don't have to worry about it
everything is happening outside in the
street however it is Lobby sensitive so
not every lobby is going to work doesn't
have to be 27 players as we see in the
gameplay he's only got five players in
that public lobby all you got to do is
bring out one of your personal vehicles
once you do so after your friends keep
clicking on it that he wants to get in
with the white line or the triangle go
back into your apartment or office
building pull out another car and this
is what you're going to find out if the
lobby is good or not it's very easy to
find out if you managed to get the car
outside and you see your friends still
tugging on the older car you're good to
go this Lobby is a go
my advice to you is to get a sentinel
get a benefactor one of the expensive
cars if you read the list
I might have one link for you in the
description I just have to find it but
just to let you know the benefactor is
one of the most expensive and it's got
like a four door on it right after it I
think it's the Sentinel even a Dominator
gives you some good money so from this
point you take that street car and go
over to los santos customs and now put
everything on it two things that don't
make a difference one is the paint job
that doesn't make a difference
whatsoever so don't spend money on it
the second thing is the color of the
neon under your car so you can put the
neon layouts as full you'll get money
for that but the color of the neon is
not going to make a difference in the
payout from that point when you're done
putting all the upgrades of course
remember to put the looping horn the one
that's more expensive than anything else
there's also chrome rims that you need
to hit that it's going to give you more
money the last thing you want to do is
put a tracker on the car once you put
the tracker on the car back out of the
los santos customs and go back in put
another tracker on the car now if you
have a space in your garage every time
you put a tracker those cars are
disappearing into the empty spaces that
you have in your garage but if you're
full and let's say you have maybe
faggios in your garage or the normal
allergy that doesn't cost you any money
from the social club then that game is
going to start asking if you want to
replace a car then you can replace the
car and every time you do so it also
goes to your garage it's a very easy
glitch each of these cars will if you go
for the manufacture will sell for around
two hundred thousand when the discounts
are not around so it's not something
that you could you know dismiss and say
I don't need it right now it's still
going to give you some good money all
right you guys I want to thank again
everybody that's here on the channel
dropping a comment and showing support
I'll see you on the next segment and
I'll probably see some of you in the
coming stream we don't Grayson boys
alright peace out homey peace out
aegeon you gotta do something like you
haven't won a race in ages now I'm gonna
be nice and easy but you have to lead
look you think you're gonna win oh
that's dirty bro you just mean yeah you
kept turning you just like Ellen what
are you talking about it's the easiest
thing to see but you just knock the guy
out you Jack right come on try to find
him reason I saw it shining are down all
I was there's no way you're not that was
so damaged you put it between the thank
you still dirty just like they say I
come for yourself darling tell me
quickly don't worry about it and
opponent marvel no okay six in the roll
come on oh thank you Graham thanks in a
roll he did what what are you adding

Kate Middleton Disgusts Queen Elizabeth: Having Mental Health Problems A Weakness? - Duration: 2:42.
Queen Elizabeth is reportedly disgusted with Kate Middleton.
The latter told the world that she will seek help if either Prince George or Princess Charlotte
were in need of help ever.
For Kate and Prince William mental health has been a cause that is very close to their
hearts.
The royal couple understand the importance of emotional well being for a child from a
very young age, Mirror UK reports.
They have been championing the cause that children should be able to open up to their
parents if and when they needed help and to share everything.
However, for the first time queen is agreeing with Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall.
The nonagenarian royal and the 68 year old duchess do not feel that royals need the support
of psychiatrists.
Kate and William have not taken to their royal duties full time.
Queen Elizabeth has made a leeway for them to work as part time royals.
The 90 year old never had the luxury herself as a young mother and monarch, Celebrity Dirty
Laundry reports.
The British monarch may have empathized with her great grand daughter in law.
So with Kate Middleton and Prince William spending time with their George and Charlotte,
mental health should not be a problem for them.
Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles, or for that matter Camilla may have had problems
of their own, but they have never sought therapy.
The British royals have always had what is called a stiff upper lip.
For that matter Camilla who has been bullied for decades by the press, also did not go
to a psychiatrist.
What exactly is the problem with Kate Middleton and Prince William?
What are the mental health issues that the couple rant about regularly?
Do George and Charlotte really have problems.
the answer is most likely to be in the negative.
Royals have a history to never show their weakness, do not seek help from either psychologists
or psychiatrists, and spill family secrets.
They also reportedly do not share their feelings with other family members.
The last time the royal family was embarrassed was when Princess Diana spilled dirty secrets
during her interview with Martin Bashir at Kensington Palace.

Video: Several inches of rain expected - Duration: 2:40.
IN BOSTON RIGHT NOW, WE DO NT
HAVE RAIN.
THERE WERE A FEW SHOWERS EARLIER
IN THE DAY.
RIGHT NOW WERE 54 DEGREES, OCEAN
WATER TEMPERATURES IN THE 50'S.
OUR TEMPERATURES IN THE 50'S
EVERYWHERE THIS PARTICULAR HOUR.
TALKING ABOUT THE RAIN, THIS IS
OUR LIVE LOCAL DOPPLER RADAR.
THE ANIMATION IS COMING OUT OF
HOPKINTON.
YOU SEE THE DARKER GREENS AND
YELLOWS FROM NEW LONDON
CONNECTICUT TO JUST ABOUT
PROVIDENCE, FALL RIVER, NEW
BEDFORD AND MOVING ON TO CAPE
COD.
A LOT OF THAT WILL CONTINUE THAT
MOTION WHICH WILL MAKE THE
NORTHERN EDGE OF THE RAIN
OVERNIGHT INTO TOMORROW MORNING
OF TWO OR MAYBE A LITTLE SOUTH
OF BOSTON.
THAT'S WHY IT REALLY DEPENDS
WHERE YOU ARE BECAUSE THIS AREA
OF LOW PRESSURE MIX OF EARLY
TOMORROW.
SOUTHEASTERN IS KATE COULD GET A
HEALTHY DOSE OF RAIN UNTIL
TOMORROW MORNING OR SO FOR.
A TINY BUBBLE OF HIGH PRESSURE
WILL TRY TO BUILD AND TOMORROW
AFTERNOON AND NIGHT BUT THIS IS
AN ACTIVE PATTERN THIS WEEK.
THE NEXT SYSTEM WILL BE UPON US
BEGINNING WEDNESDAY MORNING AND
THERE MAY BE ONE MORE COMING UP
LATE IN THE WEEK BEFORE WE GET
TO MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND.
SO WE DO HAVE SEVERAL SYSTEMS TO
GO THROUGH.
HERE YOU CAN SEE EARLY TO MORE
MORNING, WITH SOME RAIN SOUTH OF
BOSTON IS STILL SOME HEAVY RAIN
ON THE CAKE.
THAT COULD LAST THROUGH THE
MORNING COMMUTE.
THAT WILL MOVE OUT AND SOME
CLEARING WILL COME IN LATER IN
THE DAY FROM NORTHWEST TO
SOUTHEAST.
LOOK AT THE CLOUDS COME BACK BY
WEDNESDAY MORNING AT ANOTHER
REST OF RAIN MAY DO SOMETHING
VERY SIMILAR ON WEDNESDAY.
THAT'S WHY I SAY THE PATTERN IS
PRETTY ACTIVE.
HOW MUCH RAIN IS LIKELY FROM
WHAT HAPPENS OVERNIGHT TONIGHT
AND TOMORROW MORNING?
I THINK YOU CAN SEE HERE THERE
COULD BE A SWATH OF ONE TO TWO
INCHES ACROSS EXTREME
SOUTHEASTERN MASS, THE CAPE AND
THE ISLANDS, BUT MUCH LESS IF
ANY WHEN YOU GET TO THE MASS
PIKE AND NORTHWARD.
TEMPERATURES TONIGHT WILL CHANGE
THAT MUCH FROM WHERE THEY ARE.
TOMORROW PREDICATED ON GETTING
SOME AFTERNOON SUNSHINE,
ESPECIALLY FROM THE BOSTON AREA
NORTH AND WEST.
IT MIGHT BE TOUGH TO SEE
CLEARING DOWN ON THE CAPE.
IT MIGHT HAPPEN ONLY AT THE END
OF THE DAY.
THE POLLEN COUNT REDUCED A
LITTLE BIT INTO TOMORROW BUT
THAT WILL PROBABLY NOT GO UP
AGAIN UNTIL THE NEXT BATCH OF
RAIN MOVES INTO THE REGION.
CHECK IT OUT OVER THE NEXT SEVEN
DAYS AND HERE YOU HAVE IT, A FEW
MORE SHOWERS AT LEAST, A BREAK
FOR PART OF THURSDAY BUT THEN BY
THURSDAY NIGHT AND FRIDAY,
PERHAPS ONE MORE ROUND OF RAIN.
CLEARING SHOULD BE IN HERE BY
OUR DURING SATURDAY AT THE
LATEST.
AT LEAST SATURDAY AND SUNDAY SO
FAR LOOK PRETTY DECENT.

Azure Container Registry General Availability - Duration: 15:08.
[MUSIC]
Hi, I'm Scott Hanselman, it's another episode of Azure Friday,
I'm here with Steve and
we're talking about the Azure container registry, GAs.
>> Yeah, yeah, we've got it now,
general availability, so people can start putting their
production loads on it, and >> It's been quite fun as our own
internal team start to put load on it.
>> Mm-hm.
>> We got to watch how many people are pushing and pulling.
Turns up there's a lot of activity that goes on to a registry.
>> Okay, so what is a registry and why do I need it?
>> So, probably the best way to help there is
we kinda talk about this workflow here.
People are working in developing in a loop.
Even in that inner loop when they're starting to build their first Docker
images, where do you get your image from?
>> Hm.
>> Right, it might be a public one you have on Docker hub.
>> Right, your base image, yeah.
>> Your base image.
Or, I might as a company have decided that we have our own content
that we wanna put in that image and I don't want it public.
>> Mm-hm.
>> Right, think of GitHub Enterprise or
the other kinda places- >> Sure.
>> Where I wanna keep things inside.
So, we can stand up a private registry in Azure.
You can then control it with your AD credentials, so
you can limit to your team.
And then even for you base poles, you can pull your own image.
But certainly, when you're doing your builds,
you can push to that registry and it works right in your own data center,
wherever your data center of choice is.
So, in fact, we have some new data centers we've announced.
>> So, Steve, I understand this
in the context of maybe what people already understand.
If you make new Git packages or NPM packages,
you'll pull from a bunch of open-source sources like nuget.org.
>> Right. >> But
when you make your final product, secret magic startup product,
you're gonna put on MyGet or some private enterprise,
hardened secured location.
This is where the results of my build
live in that, >> Correct.
>> My container register and I control it.
It is my instance.
You control who has access to it.
It's what I call, network close.
So when you're doing your builds, you probably want your build agent
network close to that in the same data center.
So things just run faster, and so they're secure,
it's faster, then you can deploy into your resources as well.
>> And this isn't a shared resource, this is mine, right?
Other people who are nearby are not in there with me?
>> Right, this is, you will do a look at it and
you will only see your images.
>> Fantastic.
>> So why don't we take a look at some of that.
And actually, what's interesting here also is, and
this is what's just cool about Azure,
is containers are becoming just everywhere.
When we first did .NET, it was like okay, here's the .NET console,
here's the .NET web app, and then how long was it before .NET was in
every technology >> Sure.
>> That we talked about.
And we're seeing that with the registry, or containers, as well.
Containers have become the unit of deployment, so
you need a place to actually store your images.
>> It's interesting that you say that because for many years,
I have said that Git was FTP for code.
Now, in fact, Docker and containers in general, it's becoming FTP for
your implementation, for your instance.
>> For your code and the environment, so
you can deploy it all.
>> It's the better way to move instances around.
I'd like to point out here,
you can run them in a number of different ways.
>> Right.
So I want you to take a look at what we can do here.
So we'll go to the portal and we'll wanna do a new registry.
So we'll just kinda go it this way so
people know where to find it if it doesn't show up in their MRU.
So we have the Azure container registry here and
we can create a new one.
And we've got the blade here, and we can give it some names,
twestissyfriday for instance.
And we will get a little validation glib that says,
is that name globally unique?
Which apparently, let's try that one again.
>> Is this going on to a VM or is this software as a service?
Do I have to think about that?
What am I paying for?
>> Yeah, that's great.
This is software as a service.
So we are hosting the registry.
You will just see it as an endpoint.
There'll be for now in the GA release right now,
there actually is a storage account in your subscription and
that's what we actually bill on.
We will be moving to managed storage where you won't even see that in
your subscription.
>> Nice.
>> So we've as typical database things,
we see people kind of going at the storage account directly.
They're deleting it, they're messing with it and
then they wonder why their registry doesn't work.
So we're gonna help them with those kind of management ways.
But for now you will see that in your account.
>> What I like about this is that it comes down to storage.
You pay for the storage and that's intuitive.
That makes sense to me.
If I am pushing once a week, then I'll pay for that amount of storage.
But if I'm doing CIDC and I'm pushing hourly,
then I'll certainly pay more.
>> Exactly. >> Seems like a smart pricing model.
>> Exactly.
>> So here you see we have quite a few regions.
This is part of going GA is we can go down to Australia.
We can go to Canada, Japan, Northern Europe, wherever we want.
And so, let's just, I don't know, let's choose West Europe here for
the sake of it.
And we'll go off and create that.
Now I did turn on the admin.
We'll show that when it comes up.
So that's starting to provision and if I take a look at the container
registries, we can see the ones that we already have here.
And, we'll just zoom this up a little bit, and
you can see I already had one in India, the one in Australia,
put a little kiwi thing in there, and I do-
>> Do they have UIs?
Do they have front ends?
>> Nice that you asked.
So, yes, we do.
One of the things that we added just recently,
because this is one of the things that people were asking,
was how can I see in my list of images that I have in my repository.
So now, we have a repository listing.
And you can see the different ones that I have there.
>> So a registry contains repositories and
repositories contain images that are tagged?
>> Correct, so
you'll also notice that I have a couple of nestings there.
So instead of a single nesting,
I could actually create multiple nesting.
So you might have your team,
the bite sharing team was one of the demos we did recently.
You might have the POC and you might have the web, and the API.
And you might have the production version of it.
You might have another team working on a whole other project and
you can just keep on nesting them down.
>> Okay, so I can partition those any way I want.
So, one registry, one set of repositories can then be
managed with access control however I want.
>> Yup. >> If I wanted to
change my access control in some dramatic way,
each group in my company could have multiple registries.
>> Right. >> Totally up to me.
And so we also have the command line of it.
So let's kind of show how some of that can be done there.
So here I'll give you, that's what I was doing here.
So Azure Friday, we'll create this one here.
This is using the AZCLI.
>> So you're doing the same thing you did in the portal except now
you're doing it at the command line.
>> Right.
>> I'm use to Azure VM Create.
>> And Azure App Service create,
you're doing it Azure container registry create.
>> Correct.
>> So it's intuitive, I already know how to make stuff or list stuff or
delete stuff, I can do the same thing.
>> Right, and here we're focused on the Azure V2 CLI for the AZ CLI,
so we'll see that go off in- >> Yeah,
and I did some videos recently that people can check out to show you how
to use Docker to bring down the Azure CLI Docker container, and
>> You don't have to set up Python
on your Windows machine.
You can just run that in Docker right away which is pretty slick.
>> Yeah, that's another example of where Docker was just being used as
the scene of the deployment.
>> Indeed.
>> So if we come over to the portal, we will see our registries.
Let's kind of come back over here and
we'll look at all of our registries that are created.
>> See there are some of the ones you just made. Yeah.
>> Yeah, so
let's see if this one's done.
All right, so let that one finish a little bit, but
now we've got a registry.
We want to push something to it, so that's one of the things that we
need to figure out so that the first thing you would need to do is, well,
if I'm going to tag and push an image to it, well,
I need to be authenticated to it.
>> Right.
>> So normally when you see a registry when you're doing pulls and
pushes, you just kinda say I want ASP.NET Core or
Microsoft/ASP.NET Core, right.
Docker assumes if you don't specify that it's gonna go up to docker hub.
>> Right, when you see a moniker ESP net core EPS net core
build it's assuming the public registry.
>> Right.
>> Okay. >> In this case I wanna redirect it
to a private registry and that's what I can do here.
So actually what I showed a moment ago if you remember,
I showed the admin stuff.
So lets go and grab this one let's just say.
>> And I can go to the access keys here.
Actually, let me go grab a different one.
Let's go grab the Canadian one here for a second.
Notice we actually have some rotation keys here, so
I can use either one of these.
This one is kind of a special privileged one,
because there's really only one account.
And we do have rotating keys.
What we probably want is one that you can do permissions on, owners,
read only, so on and so forth.
>> Yeah, I don't wanna share a super user with everyone.
>> Exactly, so what we've done is we used the service principle model
here and we've,
after the register is created, we've given you that snippet.
>> That you could run.
And it is kind of long so I will go paste it over here in Notepad.
>> Sure, it is long but it is written for you and
you're basically gonna go and make create for RBAC,
roll based access control, a new role with a password.
>> So we'll just kind of do that.
>> Highly secure.
>> Yeah which we'll delete very quickly.
[LAUGH] So we'll go off and now create that service principle.
And you can see the scope and all of that for that registry.
And notice the role is owner.
So in this case, but I could've also,
obviously done it as a different role.
>> Mm-hm.
>> And the list of roles are on the docs there.
So that'll give me the ability to have a username and password.
>> Mm-hm. >> And you kind of see the app ID
is the username.
>> Right. >> So I can use that to login.
Now I need to log in to this newly created registry.
So we'll say docker login.
And the registry that we created here, what was it?
Stevelas Azure Friday.
>> Yeah.
>> So we'll do that.
And for the username, and I could've done a -u -p for you here, but-
>> Sure, of course,
you could've just done Steve or
whatever, but- >> We'll do that.
>> Someone is assigned their password and their information,
some password.
>> Thank you.
>> Someone is assigned that password, and they log in once, and
then they go about their business.
>> Right, so- >> So now you're in.
>> So now I'm in, so- >> Gosh, let me guess,
if you type Docker images,
you're not gonna see the same stuff as before.
Actually I would.
Remember, so Docker images is actually looking locally.
>> Okay. >> Right, it's the local cache in my
machine, so that's what's built against my local host here.
This is just saying that when,
I can log into a couple of registries, right?
I actually am logged into a couple.
>> Okay. >> But
now if I want to push images to it,
let's say I want to take this web image that I've got here.
And I just built this from one of our samples, and
you can see there's the web latest.
>> Sure.
>> So what I would do is docker tag web to be this URL.
Where is the name of our, here we go.
This one right here.
That.
>> Right. >> Slash web and
we'll just say version one.
>> Okay.
>> And now if I do docker images.
I have two of them >> So repository,
>> These are local.
That's a remote one.
You haven't pushed it yet thought, right?
>> No I haven't.
But also notice the image idea is the same, right?
It knows the only thing different is a tag.
>> Right.
>> So now what I can do is say docker push.
And it'll now push that one to that registry.
So what the Docker client knows,
and we didn't make any changes to the Docker client.
Notice I'm actually using all the Docker CLI.
>> So Docker doesn't know or care that you are talking to Azure?
>> Nope.
It just sees that URL.
Anything before the slash, it sees there's dots in it and
goes, that must be a domain.
>> Is it significant that it pushed all the layers?
Did it take layers of it it pulled down from the public one and
pushed it to the private ones.
>> Right. >> So that you have no dependencies.
>> Correct.
So now, I don't.
All those layers are actually in my registry at this point, so
that's kind of cool.
>> That is extremely cool.
>> So now, if I go over to the portal and
which one did I use, by the way?
I did the AZ Friday thing.
>> Uh-huh.
>> So, we'll come over here. To-
>> I think you did Stevelas, yeah,
you did this right.
We've got so many.
>> I know, trying to show locations.
And now we show repositories.
We should see oop, there's red, there's one.
In fact, if we make a change here.
Let's just kinda go over here and say Hello World.
Version two.
>> We'll go build that here.
>> Of course, you're doing this in VS, and VS knows about docker.
You can see the docker compose.
VS is calling the docker commands for you and building that image.
There it goes and boom.
>> Boom it's done.
So now, if I look at docker images, if I could spell it right.
Did you ever create that shortcut?
>> 313, no I didn't.
>> [LAUGH] >> I should do that.
There's 313, which we only just made.
>> So I need a tag, that docker tag >> [INAUDIBLE]
>> Web, let's grab latest and
make sure we're actually getting latest,
I don't know if I did that before.
And we'll call that two.
Okay, yep.
>> So now we tag that one and now all we'll do is push
this up to a container registry and notice layer exist, layer exist.
All those previous layers were already push as they're only had
a push the code difference for the last one.
And if we come over to the portal,
we should see, >> Web Azure C1-
>> That's what I meant to do.
Thank you.
>> There it is, what if you click on a tag, what happens?
>> You see manifests.
>> There is is. >> You see
all kinds of other gooey- >> All this stuff-
>> Details.
>> Yeah, the internals of what got stored.
>> Yeah, so it kind of looks like internals too, right.
>> So I can use this as a place I can push to myself,
as you did manually.
>> All that stuff that you did that was a poor man's CICD?
>> Correct. >> Visual Studio built it,
Docker built the image, you push the images,
that was what Visual Studio team services could go and do for us.
>> Correct.
>> And then now that you have that private registry but it's close to
your other Azure resources, you could then deploy that.
>> Right, very cool.
>> Pretty cool.
>> GA unavailable.
GA unavailable.
Get started today.
We'll have some new features coming as well,
which we're pretty excited about.
But this we wanted to get out and let people get started already.
>> Very cool.
We're learning all about the Azure container registry here on
Azure Friday.
