Good morning.
I'm Jen McCoy, director of marketing for Mixer.
I'm here with James Bohm, co-founder and
head of our partner and community team at Mixer.
James, today is a big launch day for us.
>> It's an incredibly big day for us.
There's so many we've been working on over the past couple
of months that we're finally able to share with the world.
And everyone here at the Mixer team is super excited.
>> So let's start first with the evolution of our name and
brand from Beam to Mixer.
This was a tough decision.
>> You're right. It was
an incredibly tough decision.
But we're committed to growing this platform
in every major market worldwide.
And we truly believe in its potential
to change the game video industry.
And unfortunately,
that just wasn't something we could do with the Beam name.
>> We chose Mixer as the new name,
because it represents what we love most about the platform.
That it's all about bringing people together, viewers and
streamers, people sharing their passion for
gaming, for creativity, and of course interactivity.
You know the capability that the platform brings,
it lets viewers participate directly in a stream.
Mixer is all about building an engaged and vibrant community.
>> So I'm also excited to share some of the industry
first features that we are launching today starting
with co-streaming.
Which allows up to four different broadcasters to
simultaneously stream their game play on one chat
experience in page, essentially.
Where you can have four broadcasters join their streams,
and your viewers are now able to see all four perspectives
on one page, with one chat experience.
Truly incredible.
We're also announcing the Mixer Create app into beta,
which is launching on iOS and Android stores today.
Which essentially allows broadcasters to share what
they're doing, from anywhere in the world, at any time.
And coming soon we're launching the ability for
you share your game play just like you can on a PC or console.
>> I know it's super important for our broadcasters to be able
to stay in touch with their audiences on the go.
So these mobile improvements are a big deal for us.
And then also coming soon on mobile are the ability to have
FTL playback through the mobile app and support for
the interactive 2.0 platform.
So lots of advancements on mobile happening today and
in the near future.
>> That's right,
so two other big announcements we have today are that we're
launching Mixer Channel 1 which is a 24/7 moderated channel
that'll showcase some of the greatest content across Mixer.
You can expect everything from title release game day launches
on there, to tips and tricks shows, and e-sports tournaments.
It's really featuring the best content that's across
Mixer community.
In addition to this,
we're also launching a dedicated Mixer page on the Xbox console.
So basically, it's gonna feature some of the most unique and
also the best content that's on Mixer,
and you'll be able to check it out all right from your console.
>> A great place to see what our partners are up to.
>> Yeah, absolutely.
>> To celebrate our big launch day,
we've got a whole line-up of activities planned.
We're gonna start at 11:00AM with a live broadcast right from
the Redmond Campus of Microsoft, and
then as part of that we're going to have guest stars.
So the Minecraft team will be here,
I believe Major Nelson is going to be making an appearance.
We're also going to be talking more in depth about some of
the new features we've announced here today and
show some live demos.
And then after that, we're going to turn it over to our Mixer
in New York City studio.
And they're going to be playing just hours of game play and
tournaments with games like Forza Motorsport 6, Overcooked,
For Honor, Rocket League, and more.
As soon as they're done in New York City, James,
you are back on.
And you are going to
be co-streaming with all of our great partners, just you know,
answering questions, playing some games and
hanging out with the community >> Mm-hm.
>> Capping everything off tonight, we've got Mixerworks.
Now I've gotta tell you what this is, all right?
>> Okay. >> Now, you know,
one of the biggest parts about Mixer is our interactivity.
>> Of course.
>> And so what we're gonna do tonight is we're gonna
use Mixer interactivity to put on the worlds first livestreamed
interactive fireworks show, at 9:00 Pacific,
where we're going to let the audience choose what fireworks
we set off in the skies over Los Angeles.
Not just your little backyard bottle rockets.
>> That's crazy.
>> It's going to be fun.
>> So, in order to set off the fireworks,
you have to spend your spark.
And the only way you can do that is by earning sparks by watching
mixer content.
So, better start earning some sparks today.
>> We can't wait for all of you all to join us today for
the live stream, for
the partner co-streaming, and of course, for the mixer works
interactive fireworks show tonight at 9 o' clock Pacific.
James, thanks for being here with me today.
>> Yeah, thanks for having me and thanks for watching.

BRITISH GUY REACTS TO FINNISH MUSIC VIDEOS | Part 8 [ENG SUBS] - Duration: 8:38.
Hey, how's it going guys?
My name is Dave Cad and today I've got another episode
of reacting to Finnish music for ya.
It's been a little while so I thought it was about time for one.
Also, I'm coming to Finland for the entire summer so I thought I better get back into
Finnish-music-mode.
Today I've got 4 videos to check out, all of which you guys have
suggested in the comments to the previous video of the previous video.
So today I'm just going to jump straight in, you guys...
Whoops.
You guys know how this works by now.
This one is by Robin and it's called Frontside Ollie.
I've checked out one of Robin's other songs but this one has been suggested since episode one
of 'Reacting to Finnish music videos' so I thought it was about time to check this one out
Alright, here we go.
OK we're in a skatepark.
Oh my god, is that Robin?!
He looks like he's 10 years old.
That's crazy.
He's grown up into a fine young man.
He's just hanging out with his buddies at the skate park and the girls are watching
FRONTSIDE OLLIEN.
Bust out a sick pop-shuvit.
OK, this is pretty cheesy.
Oh, that was sick frontside ollie.
FRONTSIDE OLLIEN.
I literally cannot help but sing along with that part.
OK that was only five years ago.
Man, you kids grow up so fast.
He's only 18 now, man.
But it's not a horrible song, it was obviously made for young people.
It's catchy, he can sing, music video was a bit lame I guess but I mean, it's just a
bunch of kids so...
WHATEVER.
Alright, now we're going to move onto the most requested song of the last part.
And this is by 'Pete Parkkonen' and this is 'Kohta sataa' and the fact that this was massively requested...
It really can't be good.
Oh ho, he's got hearts in his...
OK, well I see where this is going already.
What is with that tongue!?
Ow, the poor guy look someone's taken his shirt.
Can someone get this guy a shirt?
He's obviously...
OK!
Wow.
He's pretty naked.
OK, is this a music video or a porno I'm watching?!
Now someone's taken his pants...
Oh look, someone's found his shirt.
It's OK every body.
Oh, nope.
Now it's gone again.
Ew, how's the hand taste, bro?
OK this is making me super uncomfortable... and now even more so.
How...
It's so bad but i can't take my eyes off it.
Now it's raining.
He's so hot he's made the sprinklers go on.
Smoking's not cool kids, don't try that at home.
I think he needs to go to the gym a bit more.
Maybe do some more sit ups.
He really likes to touch himself...
Guys, you know what?I think this is really just a sad story about a man that loses his
all of his clothes and gets dunked in baby oil.
It's such a sad, sad tail
* I just want to know who took my t-shirt *
Kiitos (Thank you)
OK, where do I start?
Pros and cons of this video...
Pros: Number 1, I never have to watch that again in my life.
Some would argue that I'd never have to watch it in the first place but I have now, and
now it's done!
Pro number 2: Now I know definitely never to trust you guys and your suggestions.
Thank you very much.
And cons...
Pretty much everything else about that video is a con...
NEXT!
OK, this next one, again, massively suggested through-out the entire series.
I'm glad I'm finally getting around to this one.
This is Mummo Rap.
Now I know Mummo is 'Grandma' in English, so Mummo rap...
Can only mean good things.
Please tell me she's going to start rapping.
The suspense is killing me...
Go on Grandma
Spin that shit.
This is already the best thing I've ever watched.
GO ON GRANDMA!
Tosi kiffa...
Is she saying 'tosi kiva' (really nice) with an accent?
I've definitely got to sing along to this.
C'mon man, where are the lyrics?!
Are you kidding me?
No one has put the lyrics online.
It makes me so happy for humanity that this is a thing.
This has just made my day!
Ahh her crew's there with her.
That is squad goals right there.
Ho!
A visiter.
I'd go and visit her even though she isn't my Grandmother.
Kinda wish she was though.
A rapping grandmother, it's the best thing ever!
It's literally the last thing you'd expect to come from Finland.
Amazing, just amazing!
Allllrighty then.
OK, last one.
Last but not least we have Arttu Wiskari and this is Tuntematon potilas...
Whatever that means.
I have seen another video and listened to another one of his songs which was, what was it?
Mökkitie?
Something like that.
And it was beautiful, it was a really great song so I'm kinda excited to listen to this one
Police, shit.
Someone's in trouble.
Looks like we're going backwards in time for this one.
What's everyone looking at?
OK, she's got a shopping basket for some reason with her.
This is something that I remember from the last video, his voice is just so...
almost speaks to your soul.
I have absolutely no idea what he's saying just, I feel it.
Oh no they're struggling a little bit.
Where'd she get that from?
Oh dear, that wasn't going to be free.
Here's our boy.
OK, I feel like he's telling a story within this song about whoever we're following, I think
Oh no, they can't remember the code.
OK, I think I've got a jist about what this is about.
I'm getting a bit emotional.
This is quite sad if it's what I think it is.
This is really tribute to whoever produced this video and his singing.
Like, I feel what this is about.
Looks like we're following someone with Alzheimer's or some kind of dementia.
They've left the shop without paying.
Oh, beautiful voice!
And they have no shoes on.
Ojojoj.
They're going back into the home now.
Wow!
What an amazing video.
Wow.
I have to say I am genuinely a little bit choked up.
That doesn't happen easily either.
So I'm guessing we were following someone with Alzheimer's or some kind of dementia,
that kind of thing.
They decided they were going to leave and go on a little walk about, forget to pay for
things and I reckon Arttu is telling a little story from his life, maybe.
Now I need to find out for sure because I could be completely wrong.
Ah brilliant, there's a translation of this one.
"The last time I saw Grandpa, he didn't know me anymore"
"Condition had broken down"
"We walk through the church yard now I understand the request that made me angry"
Ho ho.
Mr Wiskari *claps* well done.
Great song.

Today I have ten bowls of jjajang noodles in front of me.
If you guys see over here, I ate ten of bowls of jjajang noodles January, 2015.
I ordered ten bowls of jjajang noodles today thinking back on those days.
I'll try out a mirror match today with past myself while eating these noodles.
I don't know what I had in mind when I was doing this back then
but I wanted to distinguish myself from back then
so I tried to wear white.
And nothing has changed. If you order 10 bowls,
they sure do give you a lot of servings.
Anyways, I'll enjoy the food.

I'll eat first and let you guys check later.
Be careful.
Wow. Look.
Wow.
Better now than back then.
Those noodles are all stuck together.
Sorry about the noise.
How many did I eat?
I'm getting nervous. Maybe I shouldn't have eaten so fast back then.
My noodles are getting all stuck together too.
Ow.
I'll wipe it in a little bit.
I guess my phone is cheering me on.
If you're watching this, please press like on the bottom right for me.
I can do it!
I'm good at playing by myself ever since Baskin-Robbins.
All stuck together!
Why am I not eating?
Why?
I should've eaten this first.
Guys, let me cheat a little bit.
I'll just pour in some jjambbong soup.
I don't think I poured in the jjambbong noodles back then.
Am I cheating?
Is it?
I'll eat my last bowl. I'll enjoy it.
It's much better.
Am I done eating?
No, right? That scared me.
Done.
First off, I ordered the same ten bowls of jjajang noodles.
The difference between back then and now
is that I have white clothes on and a white table as well.
Anyways, 10 bowls mirror match.
I won but I won against myself so it's not that exciting.
I am a little bit happy.
Anyways, 10 bowls of jjajang noodles mirror match.
I don't know when my next mirror match will be but
I don't know. I'm not so confident anymore.
End of the mirror match. Thank you, bye!
Good job.

How To: Pick The Perfect Pineapple - Duration: 2:06.
How to Pick The Perfect Pineapple
Pineapples are delicious fruits which have some wonderful health benefits, especially
for those who suffer with osteoarthritis.
There are a few tricks that you can use to pick out a perfectly ripe and tasty pineapple.
1.
Check the colour.
Look for a pineapple which has a golden coloured skin.
This means that the pineapple is ripe.
Avoid those which are completely green.
Pineapples ripen from the bottom up, so be sure to choose one which is yellow at least
half way up.
2.
Smell the pineapple.
You can tell ripeness from simply taking a sniff of the base of the fruit.
If this smells sweet like pineapple juice then then it is perfectly ripe.
If it has hardly any smell at all, this means that It isn't ripe enough yet.
If it has a musty, or fermented smell like vinegar, then it is going bad and you should
avoid this one.
3.
Check the leaves.
If the leaves on the top of the pineapple look dried out and break when you touch them,
then this pineapple is going bad.
Be sure to use these tips when choosing your healthy pineapples.
It's best not to store your whole pineapple in the refrigerator, until they are perfectly
ripe.
Then simply peel and slice these and store in an airtight container in the fridge.
Did you know that pineapples contain a powerful protein extract called bromelain.
This is a natural pain killer and works especially well for joint pain.
To learn more about the health benefits of pineapple juice, please see our other videos.
Thank you very much for listening, a like is always appreciated and remember to subscribe

I wish you great health, wealth and happiness.

here tonight I'd like to ask you how
many of you awaken at one time or
another between the hours of 3:00 and
4:00 a.m. let me just see by Chopin if
you look around you see that this is a
universal experience now what do you
think that is if everybody almost
everybody awakens at some time between 3

this book and then in the inspiration
book is to put my feet on the floor and

do not go back to sleep you realize that
between 3 & 4 o'clock in the morning in
the middle of the night this is the time
when you're closest to your source this
is the time when it's the quietest is
the time when it's the most peaceful
when there are the least distractions
and of course in miracles' it says the

cannot come where there is conflict of
mind at war with itself remembers not
eternal gentleness eternal gentleness
that's what you came from it beckons you
back to be awake it's the most creative
time in your life try it take that
moment that you are constant you are
being called by your source and awaken
and force yourself to shake the cobwebs
up and if you can't then put your feet
on the floor and say look if I have to
go back to sleep I'm going to sleep with
my feet on the floor and after a while
that gets very uncomfortable and you
you'll get yourself up now when I do
that and I get up and I live on Maui
thank you thank you thank you thank all
of you for my beautiful home that I

of the sense of this powerful feeling of
inspiration it just it's overwhelming to

pulls me it's pulling me towards it
it's almost beckoning me and saying
please please come to me I I want you to

literally
wonder where is this coming from the
words they're just they just flow and I
sit there I write by hand and as I'm
writing and allowing this to flow
through my heart and onto the pages I
just think to myself I wonder I wonder
what's going to come next I wonder when
it's going to come in it's almost as
this God is saying this is why you're
here and I can't get you any other time
because it's just so busy and there's
horns bonk and there's all there's so
many distractions but here's a time when
you can just be with me just be with
you're just be in spirit just be
inspired in sporadic be in this space
with me and I will then allow what
creative juices that you have forgotten
about because you took up because you ed
me out for so much a part of your life
and here it is and you'll find yourself
getting the right idea examining
examining things that you never thought
of before writing some of you I know you
do it in your sleep many times you write
a poem and it will be self Annamma know
and then you'll say well I'll remember
that tomorrow
and then you get up and you can't get
any of it the morning breeze has secrets
to tell you do not go back to sleep use
those hours and forget about this idea
that let's see now I went to bed at 11
and if I get up at 3 that means 4 hours
so I'm going to be four hours deficient
all day long I'm not going to be forget
that you've got an eternity to sleep an

meditate and get quiet and get peaceful
you can always you can always in 20
minutes a time of meditation any time
during the day get the equivalent of a
full night's sleep don't go back to
sleep I'd like to speak in this program
about what I call the rewards for
inspiration things that will be your
your payoff your prizes if you decide to
move into spirit into this world of
spirit that I'm speaking about here on
PBS back in the 2300 or so years ago
we're not quite sure exactly when it was
a great feature in India his name was
Patanjali and in all the research that
I've done on Patanjali there's not sure
if it was one person or a series of
people or whatever it is but it's great
teachings and I immersed myself in the
in the discourses of of Patanjali and
the sutras and practice that and one of
the things that Patanjali who was
teaching people about being miracle
workers at that time teaching them about
things that no one had ever heard about
before but the power of of the
repetition of the sound of the name of
God as a way of manifesting something
into your life teaching people about
being invisible stuff that's a little
bit strange but that's you know it's
like being 65 has its advantages
because I can talk about things that are
weird I usually pointed out so you don't
think I don't know that this might sound
a little strange but I would like to
suggest you that he offered something
about inspiration that I want to offer
to you and there are six of these things
and I want to cover each one of them in
this program he said when you are
inspired by some great purpose some
extraordinary project all of your
thoughts break their bonds your mind
transcends limitations 3 your
consciousness expands in every direction
and for you find yourself in a new and a
great and a wonderful world
Dorling forces faculties and talents
come alive and 6 you discover yourself
to be a greater person by far then you
ever dreamed yourself to be those are
the rewards it's not like you're going
to win the lottery it's not and you may
it's not that the somebody's going to
come riding into your life on a white
horse or whatever it's these other
rewards these are the things that are
going to be so powerful for you the
first of these is what when you are
inspired by some great purpose some
extraordinary project won all of your
thoughts break their bonds all of your
thoughts break their bond what do we
mean by your bonds your bonds are the
thoughts that you have that keep you
disconnected from your source they are
thoughts that are out of harmony with
spirit with God consciousness with God
realization because this is basically
about being like God being like source
being like spirit being like the mind
mind in everything and every thought in
every action more and more connecting
yourself back
have seen yourself so the bonds are the
ways that we think I'd like you to
imagine a ladder and this ladder has ten
rungs on it from the floor all the way
up to the top of the ladder and at the
top of the ladder is the highest rung
and at the top of the ladder is other
words this is my desire and it's aligned
with spirit again this is my desire and
it's aligned with spirit so what is your
desire my desire is to intuit spirit so
what is your desire my desire is to
manifest abundance into my life
perfectly aligned we came from an
abundant source my desire is to feel a
sense of well-being in my body at all
times perfectly aligned my desire is to
have divine spiritual relationships in
my life my desire is to get the job that
I am working towards getting my desire
is to live in a place where I feel most
peaceful and most loving my desire is
and whatever it is it doesn't make any
difference it's the tenth rung the
highest rung it is your spirit aligned
aligned with your desire all right so
here it is it's right up here now you
have to ask yourself the question what
is it that I offer up to this tenth rung
desire all right a tenth rung has to
have in order for it to manifest and
show up in your life it has to have
thoughts feelings and behaviors that
match up to that and if they don't match
up you get out of harmony see thoughts
are energy like everything in the
universe its energy Einstein said that
nothing happens until something moved
that we have has an energy component to
it we can measure our thoughts and how
they impact us whether they strengthen
us or weaken us at any time in our lives
all right so there's a wonderful book
written about this and it's called a
scan it is good
read frequently and the great teachings
I think among the greater teachings on
the planet to the effect I wrote the
foreword to it it's something that I
very strongly embrace and they talk in
there about how to manifest your desires
and the mistake that most of us make is
that we attract what we don't want
because our thoughts are on what we
don't want or we continue to attract
what's missing in our life we're not at
number ten what about number three and
what are some of these on these lower
rungs it probably won't happen it's very
difficult these kinds of things have
never happened for me before I don't
have this kind of luck we've got the
wrong people in the white house the
economy is bad I I don't have the
ability to make it happen I don't really
believe it's possible she said well of
course who wouldn't want to be rich we
all want to have abundance in our life
of course that I said so let me see if I
understand this you want to attract
being rich into your life and your
thought about it is that it'll never
happen so what do you think you're going
to attract you're going to attract it'll
never happen and that very simple little
example it's an innocuous example she's
a very bright and intelligent lady it
wasn't about that it's about what kind
of energies we have within ourselves
that we offer to what our desires that
are aligned with spirit in order for
them to manifest and every thought on a
foot if you have a second rung thought
that it probably won't happen it's not
likely it's never happened before just
not the way it works for me always been
missing as long as you think like that
and you're in a universe that operates
on this law of attraction you will
continue to attract it

A NEW HEALTH CARE REFORM
BATTLE IS SHAPING UP ON
CAPITOL HILL.
NOW THAT A GOVERNMENT
AGENCY HAS WEIGHED IN ON
THE COST.
SENATE REPUBLICANS AND
DEMOCRATS ARE READY FOR A
FIGHT, AND CHANGES TO A
BILL ALREADY APPROVED BY
THE HOUSE ARE ALMOST
CERTAIN.
GARY LANE IS ON THIS
STORY.
>> Reporter: THE NEW
ESTIMATE SAYS 23 MILLION
AMERICANS WOULD BE LEFT
UNINSURED, ALTHOUGH THAT
NUMBER INCLUDES PEOPLE
POOWHOWOULDN'T BUY INSURANCE.
CHUCK SCHUMER CALLED THE
BILL, ALREADY APPROVED BY
THE HOUSE, A NIGHTMARE.
>> THE REPORT MAKES CLEAR
THAT TRUMP CARE WOULD BE A
CANCER ON THE AMERICAN
HEALTH CARE SYSTEM.
>> Reporter: WHEN HOUSE
REPUBLICANS PASSED HEALTH
CARE REFORM LAST MONTH,
THE G.O.P. AND PRESIDENT
TRUMP SAID THEY HAD TO ACT
BECAUSE OBAMACARE IS
FAILING.
>> President Trump: THIS
IS A REPEAL AND A REPLACE
OF OBAMACARE.
>> Reporter: UNDER
OBAMACARE, SOME ARE LEFT
WITH ONLY ONE INSURANCE
PROVIDER.
AFTER INCURRING OBAMACARE
LOSSES OF $100 MILLION,
BLUE CROSS BLUE SHIELD
WILL PULL OUT OF KANSAS
AND MISSOURI LAST YEAR.
THE HOUSE REFORM BILL
WOULD ACTUALLY SAVE THE
GOVERNMENT MONEY BY
REDUCING THE FEDERAL
DEFICIT BY $119 BILLION
OVER THE NEXT 10 YEARS.
AND ALSO BY CUTTING TAXES
BY NEARLY A TRILLION
DOLLARS, AND REDUCING
SPENDING BY MORE THAN A
TRILLION.
THE CB C.B.O. SAYS STATES
WILL BE ABLE TO HAVE
PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONS.
BUT SOME SAY HEALTHY
PEOPLE WILL ACTUALLY SEE
THEIR PREMIUMS REDUCED.
REPUBLICANS AND CRITICS
POINT OUT THAT THE C.B.O.
HAS OFTEN BEEN WRONG IN
ITS FORECAST, AND THE
C.B.O. ITSELF WARNS ITS
PROJECTIONS AREN'T
CERTAIN.
MITCH McCONNELL IS
PLEASED THE REPORT IS
FINALLY DONE.
>> THE UPDATED REPORT WILL
ALLOW THE SENATE
PROCEDURALLY TO MOVE
FORWARD.
>> Reporter: HE DOUBTS
HE HAS THE 50 VOTES HE
NEEDS TO REPEAL OBAMACARE,
AND THE SENATE IS EXPECTED
TO REDO THE HOUSE BILL AND
COME UP WITH ITS OWN
MEASURE IN THE DAYS AHEAD.
GARY LANE, CBN NEWS.
>> Efrem: TODAY
PRESIDENT TRUMP IS IN
BELGIUM, MEETING WITH
LEADERS OF THE EUROPEAN
UNION AND OUR NATO ALLIES.
PRESIDENT TRUMP WAS
CRITICAL OF BOTH
ORGANIZATIONS DURING HIS
RUN FOR THE OFFICE.
HE PRAISED BRITAIN'S VOTE
TO PULL OUT OF THE E.U.
AND SPECULATED ABOUT
PULLING OUT OF NATO IF
MEMBERS DON'T START PAYING
THEIR FAIR SHARE.
SINCE BECOMING PRESIDENT,
HE HAS SOFTENED HIS TONE,
BUT STILL EXPECTS NATO'S
MEMBERS TO CONTRIBUTE.
AND HE EXPECTS THEM TO
JOIN THE COALITION
FIGHTING ISIS.

FOR LAW AND JUSTICE SAYS A

WORK IN THE FEDERAL
BUREAUCRACY, SEEKING TO
WEAKEN THE PRESIDENT.
THE INTELLIGENCE LEAKS
THAT HAVE PLAGUED THE
ADMINISTRATION FROM DAY
ONE ARE COMING FROM
EMPLOYEES WHO DON'T AGREE
WITH THE PRESIDENT'S
POLITICS.
>> WE'RE TALKING ABOUT THE
DEEP STATE, AND THE
GOVERNMENT BUREAUCRACIES
AND AGENCIES, AND THE
PEOPLE WITHIN WHO ARE NOT
DIRECTLY APPOINTED BY THE
PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED
STATES.
THEY'RE CAREERISTS, AND
THEY WERE VERY IN LINE
WITH THE OBAMA
ADMINISTRATION.
THEY CAUSED SOME TROUBLE
FOR THE BUSH
ADMINISTRATION, BUT NOT
NEARLY -- WE HAVE NOT
NEARLY SEEN THIS ACTIVE
BEFORE IN AN ATTEMPT TO
UNDERMINE AN
ADMINISTRATION, WHAT
THEY'RE TRYING TO DO WITH
THE TRUMP ADMINISTRATION.
>> Efrem: SEKULOW SAYS
THE LEAKS NOT ONLY
UNDERMINE THE PRESIDENT,
THEY POSE A DANGER TO THE
NATIONAL SECURITY.
>>> BRITISH POLICE HAVE
ARRESTED TWO MORE PEOPLE
AS THEY CONTINUE THEIR
SEARCH FOR EVEN MORE WHO
WERE BEHIND THE CONCERT
BOMBING THAT LEFT 22 DEAD.
MEANWHILE, BRITISH PRIME
MINISTER THERESA MAY SAYS
THE U.S. IS COMPROMISING
THEIR INVESTIGATION.
SHE ACCUSES THE U.S.
OFFICIALS OF LEAKING
IMPORTANT INFORMATION.
THEY ARE PARTICULARLY
ANGRY ABOUT PHOTOS
PUBLISHED IN THE "NEW YORK
TIMES" THAT DETAIL
EVIDENCE ABOUT THE BOMB
USED IN THE MANCHESTER
ATTACK.
BRITAIN AND THE U.S.
COMMONLY SHARE
INTELLIGENCE TO THE
HIGHEST LEVELS, BUT THE
BRITISH OFFICIALS SUGGEST
THERE HAS BEEN A SEVERE
BREACH OF TRUST.
>>> HUMAN TRAFFICKING IS
ONE OF THE LARGEST AND
FASTEST GROWING CRIME IN
THE COUNTRY.
WASHINGTON IS INTRODUCING
13 PIECES OF LEGISLATION,
AIMED AS BRINGING AN END
TO U.S. SLAVERY.
ABIGAIL ROBERTSON HAS MORE
NOW ON THIS STORY.
>> Reporter: IT IS
ESTIMATED THAT MORE THAN
20 MILLION PEOPLE
WORLDWIDE ARE VICTIMS OF
HUMAN TRAFFICKING, WITH
CASES REPORTED IN EVERY
STATE IN THE U.S.
>> SO MANY TIMES YOU FIND
IT AROUND THE WORLD, BUT
IT IS RIGHT HERE IN
AMERICA.
THEY HAVE MORE THAN 7,000
CASES JUST LAST YEAR
REPORTED.
>> Reporter: CONGRESS
FOCUSED IN ON THIS ISSUE,
PASSING A NUMBER OF BILLS
FOR PROTECTING VICTIMS AND
INCREASING PUNISHMENT FOR
CONVICTED OFFENDERS.
>> A TOP PRIORITY: DEALING
WITH LEGAL LOOPHOLES THAT
PREDATORS TAKE ADVANTAGE
OF TWO AVOID BEING
CONVICTED.
THE GLOBAL CHILD
PROTECTION ACT WOULD
CHANGE RETURN LAWS TO
CLOSE THOSE LOOPHOLES.
>> UNDER THE CURRENT
DEFINITIONS, IT DOES DEAL
WITH PEOPLE WHO TRAVEL
ABROAD TO HAVE SEX WITH
CHILDREN, BUT THE
DEFINITIONS DON'T INCLUDE
PEOPLE WHO TRAVEL ABROAD
TO FORCE CHILDREN TO DO
SEXUAL ACTS ON THEM.
AND SO IT IS THESE TYPES
OF, AGAIN, UNINTENTIONAL
LOOPHOLES IN THE CRIMINAL
CODE WHERE CONGRESS CAN
CHANGE THE LAW.
>> Reporter: AND
CONGRESSMAN MIKE JOHNSON
IS ALSO OFFERING A MEASURE
THAT WOULD PREVENT
CRIMINALS FROM GETTING
AWAY ON A TECHNICALITY.
JOHNSON'S BILL DEALS WITH
A CASE IN 2015, WHERE A
MAN WHO RECORDED A SEXUAL
ASSAULT ON A CHILD WAS
ABLE TO ESCAPE A FEDERAL
CONVICTION.
>> THERE IS A PROVISION
WHERE THE COURTS HAVE SAID
IF A PREDATOR HAS SEXUAL
ACTIVITY WITH A MINOR AND
THEY RECORD ANY OF THOSE
IMAGES ON THEIR PHONE OR
OTHER DEVICES, AND THEY
DIDN'T INTEND TO RECORD
THEM, SOMEHOW THEY WOULD
BE ABLE TO EVADE
PROSECUTION.
WE THINK THAT IS
OUTRAGEOUS.
>> Reporter: AND
CONGRESS HAS ANOTHER MAJOR
ITEM ON ITS PLATE: WITH
THE RELEASE OF PRESIDENT
TRUMP'S BUDGET PLAN OF
OVER $4 TRILLION.
>> THE BUDGET IS A
FRAMEWORK.
WHAT IS SO REFRESHING HERE
IS HOW HONEST HE IS IN THE
PROCESS.
HE BALANCES A BUDGET IN 10
YEARS.
WE HAVE NOT HAD THAT IN
THE LAST ADMINISTRATION.
>> Reporter: THE WHITE
HOUSE BUDGET REDUCES
WASHINGTON'S SPENDING
PLANS FOR FUTURE YEARS,
AND DEMOCRATS QUICKLY
ATTACKED THE PROPOSAL.
WITH SENATE MINORITY
LEADER CHUCK SCHUMER
CALLING IT A NIGHTMARE
THAT HURTS THE MIDDLE
CLASS AND RELIES ON
FANTASY NUMBERS.
>> WHEN I LOOK AT WHAT HE
IS DOING ELSE IN THE
BUDGET, IT IS KIND OF LIKE
HE IS LOOKING AT WELFARE
REFORM, PUTTING PEOPLE
BACK TO WORK, GIVING THEM
A SENSE OF ACCOMPLISHMENT
AT THE SAME TIME.
THOSE ARE TOUGH THINGS TO
DO, AND SOMETIMES THEY GET
POLITICALLY ATTACKED FOR
IT, BUT IN THE END YOU
CREATE AND HELP
INDIVIDUALS TO BUY HOMES
AND SEND THEIR KIDS TO
COLLEGE.
>> Reporter: AND WHILE
NOT ALL REPUBLICANS GAVE
IT A RINGING ENDORSEMENT,
MANY ARE ENCOURAGED TO SEE
THE TRUMP ADMINISTRATION
TAKING STEPS TO TRY TO
LIMIT SPENDING, EVENTUALLY
BALANCE THE BUDGET, AND
HELP GET THE ECONOMY
GROWING STRONGLY.

IT.

STUDY.
ONLY 10 GRAMS OF ALCOHOL A

CANCER RISKS BY 5% IN
YOUNGER, PREMENOPAUSAL,
AND 9% IN OLDER,
POST-MENOPAUSAL WOMEN.
THE MORE ALCOHOL
CONSUMPTION, THE GREATER
THE RISK.
ANOTHER RISK FACTOR IS
BEING OVERWEIGHT AS AN
ADULT.
ON THE FLIP SIDE, EXERCISE
REALLY REDUCES THE RISK OF

ANY EXERCISE, LIKE

THE MORE VIGOROUS THE

BETTER.
>>> IT IS A WORD NO ONE
WANTS TO HEAR: CANCER.
YET STATISTICS SHOW HALF

ALL WOMEN WILL SUFFER THE
DISEASE.
NOW AS LORIE JOHNSON SHOWS
US, AN ORGANIZATION IS
TEACHING CHURCHES HOW TO
HELP CANCER PATIENTS.
>> HELLO, SHEILA.
HI, HOW ARE YOU, DEAR?
>> Lorie: AFTER YEARS OF
COUNSELLING CANCER
PATIENTS, REVEREND PERCY
MCCRAY KNOWS THEY BEAR A
BURDEN UNLIKE PEOPLE
BEARING OTHER ILLNESSES.
>> PARTICULARLY PEOPLE OF
FAITH ARE STRUGGLING WITH
THEIR FAITH AT THAT POINT.
WHAT DID I DO WRONG?
IS THERE SOMETHING I DID
THAT CAUSED GOD TO PUNISH
ME PROCEEDING >> Lorie?
>> Lorie: ONE
CONVERSATION HELPED HIM
REALIZE OTHERS NEED TO
LEARN THESE SKILLS, TOO.
>> THE PATIENTS SHARED
WITH ME THEY WERE IMPACTED
MORE BY THE PASTORAL CARE
THEY RECEIVED AT THE
BEDSIDE AT THE HOSPITAL
THAN THEY DID AT THEIR
CHURCH.
>> Lorie: TYPICALLY,
CHURCHES ARE VERY
EFFECTIVE IN HELPING
PEOPLE WITH ALL KINDS OF
PROBLEMS, LIKE FINANCIAL
OR MARITAL, BUT OFTEN
FALLS SHORT WHEN IT COMES
TO DEALING WITH HEALTH
CARE ISSUES, ESPECIALLY
CANCER.
>> AND THEY REALLY
STRUGGLE WITH WHAT DO I
SAY, WHEN DO I SAY, AND
HOW DO I SAY IT?
AND ONE OF THE NUMBER ONE
DYNAMICS THAT TAKES PLACE
WITH THE CANCER PATIENT
AND THEIR CARE-GIVER IS
THAT THEY BEGIN TO FEEL A
SENSE OF ISOLATION.
>> Lorie: TO BRIDGE THIS

ASSOCIATES AT THE CANCER
TREATMENT CENTERS OF
AMERICA APPROACH CHURCHES
ABOUT TEACHING THEIR
MEMBERS ABOUT HOW TO
MINISTER TO THEIR BROTHERS
AND SISTERS WITH CANCER.
IT IS CALLED "OUR JOURNEY
OF HOPE."
CANCER TREATMENT CENTERS
OF AMERICA OFFERS FREE
TRAINING FOR TWO PEOPLE
FROM A CHURCH WHO USE WHAT
THEY LEARN HERE TO RAISE
UP CANCER MINISTRIES IN
THEIR HOME CONGREGATION.
THEY LEARN THE BASICS OF
THE DISEASE AND TREATMENTS
IN ORDER TO FOCUS ON WHAT
IT IS LIKE FOR PATIENTS.
AND THE TRAINING, FOOD,
LODGING, AND EVEN THE
COURSE MATERIALS ARE ALL
FREE.
>> WE DID NOT WANT TO
LIMIT THE ABILITY TO HAVE
THE AVERAGE CHURCH RECEIVE
THIS TRAINING BECAUSE OF
LACK OF RESOURCES.
>> Lorie: LUANDA LONG
ATTENDED THE SEMINAR YEARS
AGO, AND NOW PASSES ON
WHAT SHE LEARNED TO
VOLUNTEERS ATLANTA'S E LAN
BAPTIST CHURCH.
>> WHEN WE STARTED THIS
MINISTRY, I WANT TO SAY WE
STARTED OUT WITH 12 OR 15
FOLKS.
ALL OF THEM HAD A PERSONAL
RELATIONSHIP WITH CANCER.
EITHER THEY WERE A CANCER
SURVIVOR OR A CARE-GIVER
OF A CANCER PATIENT.
>> Lorie: SHE TEACHES
THEM FOR EIGHT WEEKS TO
PREPARE THEM TO MEET WITH
CANCER PATIENTS IN THEIR
CHURCH.
>> SOMETIMES PEOPLE DON'T
KNOW WHAT TO SAY FOR THOSE
WHO ARE BATTLING WITH
CANCER.
SOMETIMES THEY MAY SAY,
OH, I HAD A LOVED ONE WITH
CANCER, AND THEY DIED.
WRONG THING TO SAY.
WE TRY TO TELL PEOPLE TO
HAVE EMPATHY, TO LISTEN,
TO NOT TRY TO FIX IT, BUT
JUST TO BE THERE.
TO REALIZE THAT GOD IS
EVERYWHERE.
AND GOD WILL HAVE A
WITNESS IN EVERY
SITUATION.
>> Lorie: SO FAR THE
MINISTRY IS A SUCCESS.
>> A LOT OF TIMES PEOPLE
DON'T UNDERSTAND THE
IMPACT CANCER DOES TO A
FAMILY AND TO A PERSON.
IT IS MORE THAN JUST A
PHYSICAL DETRIMENT.
IT ATTACKS THEIR SPIRIT
AND IT ATTACKS THEIR SOUL.
>> Lorie: LISA MCDERMOTT
REMEMBERS SUFFERING
THROUGH FIVE MONTHS OF
CHEMOTHERAPY FOR BREAST
CANCER.
>> FOR ME, IT WAS STRICTLY
FATIGUE.
I JUST COULD NOT GET OFF
THE COUCH.
>> Lorie: SHE ASKED THE
CANCER MINISTRY FOR HELP
WITH DAILY NEEDS.
>> IT MAKES A REAL
DIFFERENCE WHEN YOU'RE
JUST TOO SICK TO DO
ANYTHING.
YOU DON'T FEEL WELL.
YOU DON'T WANT TO DO THE
DISHES.
YOU'VE GOT GROCERIES TO
GET.
YOU DON'T WANT TO GO DRIVE
ANYWHERE.
SO IT'S A GREAT MINISTRY.
>> Lorie: LISA DEALT
WITH ONE MAIN POINT PERSON
WHO RECRUITED OTHERS TO
PITCH IN.
>> EVERYTHING MAKES A
DIFFERENCE.
PEOPLE -- PHONE CALLS,
CARDS, LETTERS, JUST TO
KNOW THAT PEOPLE ARE
THINKING ABOUT ME, PRAYING
FOR ME, CARING ABOUT ME.
>> Lorie: THE CANCER
MINISTRY MADE SUCH AN
IMPRESSION, THAT LISA
WANTED TO GET THE
TRAINING.
>> WE PUT PACKAGES
TOGETHER FOR EVERYONE THAT
WE FIND OUT ABOUT, THAT IS
REFERRED TO US, CARE
PACKAGES FOR THEM ALL.
I GOT ONE, TOO.
IT WAS VERY NICE.
WITH ALL KINDS OF THINGS
IN A LITTLE CARE PACKAGE.
BOOKS AND JOURNALS AND
SOCKS TO KEEP WARM, HATS,
ALL KINDS OF THINGS.
JEWELRY.
>> Lorie: AS NEFERTIDI'S
MOTHER FOUGHT OVARIAN AND
COLON CANCER, THE MINISTRY
STEPPED IN.
>> WORDS CAN'T EXPLAIN.
THEY WERE AWESOME.
JUST WHEN YOU THINK YOU'RE
BY YOURSELF, YOU'RE NOT.
>> Lorie: ALTHOUGH HER
MOM LOST HER FIGHT, THE
CANCER MINISTRY MADE THOSE
FINAL DAYS EASIER.
>> HELPING JUST AROUND THE
HOUSE, WITH FOOD, THINGS
THAT MY MOM NEEDED.
SHE WOULD NEED ERRANDS
RAN, MEDICINE.
SOMETIMES SHE JUST WANTED
TO HAVE SOMEONE TO SIT
WITH HER AND TALK, JUST
COMPANIONSHIP.
>> Lorie: THEY ALSO
HELPED HER, WHO AS A
WORKING MOM WITH TWO
CHILDREN, BECAME
OVERWHELMED WITH THE
PRESSURE OF CARING FOR HER
SICK MOTHER.
SO WHILE CANCER WILL
LIKELY CONTINUE TO STRIKE
FAR TOO MANY, CHURCHES NOW
CAN CHOOSE TO HELP THOSE
DEALING WITH THE DISEASE.

And before we continue the video, I gotta explain one thing to you
When we talked to the guys from Pagode da Ofensa and they accept to be part of this video, they told me they wanted to do something related to their content
Something that is their style of mocking people on the street, and they wanted to bring that to Gringos React
So they came up with an idea of making a song, creating a video saying one thing and asked me to subtitle something totally different to mislead the Gringos
So, before you say anything like
"HEY, YOU GOT THE WRONG SUBTITLES! I CAN SPEAK ENGLISH AND I KNOW THEY SAID SOMETHING DIFFERENT lulz
Yes, we know that, it was on purpose, watch the video until the end that you will understand

INTO MARLOW, ON THIS PLAY,
ALMOST LITERALLY, THE LINE DRIVE
BACK THE PITCHER, HE KNOCKS IT

MAKES THE PLAY, LIMITS THE
PLATTSBURGH RUNS TO 2.
AND THEN HIS OFFENSE GOT GOING
AGAIN NICK MATHER FLIES IT TO
RIGHT, IT'S JUST OUT OF REACH
LAMORA SCORES AGAIN, HERE COME
MATTHEWS AROUND THIRD.
THERE'S A PLAY AT THE PLATE, HE
WILL SLIDE IN SAFELY, JUST UNDER

MENTAL FITNESS : I DON'T TRUST YOU BECAUSE I DON'T KNOW YOU - Duration: 8:52.
A lot of us don't put in the right amount of time for ourselves because we're so busy
worrying about everything else and everybody else and at the same time not worrying enough,
think about that.
It might sound a little crazy but think about it, it's so real or so it's bugged out.
So what I'm saying is if you are not focused on yourself first and foremost you can't
help anybody but you are probably worried about everybody else.
But then when it gets to a certain issue you're like, oh, it's not my problem, deal with
it.
You have got to either be all the way in or all the way out.
I'm encouraging everybody to be all the way in.
Sometimes I watch people argue, we'll see things online, we'll just spectate and instead
of saying how can I step in and at least attempt to bring some resolution to this situation?
Let me at least try to help solve this problem.
I don't want to just be a spectator and watch and enjoy the show, and watch people
tear each other down and then I make comments and then I judge people because that doesn't
help me.
See what I'm saying is, we're all part of a bigger community.
Whether I'm talking about YouTube, whether I'm talking about Fitness, I'm really
talking about life.
We're all part of a bigger community so if we can't help ourselves help each other
then the community crumbles.
If I can't help you then we all crumble, I crumble.
But a lot of us don't see it that way.
Everything is just out for so self but we are part of a bigger community.
If I don't keep my neighborhood safe something can happen to me.
I may be walking around like, hey, I'm a tough guy, nobody's going to bother me.
But if I don't keep my community safe or my immediate surroundings safe and something
happens to my wife, something happens to my son then what?
Then I get mad, I get angry, I want to lash out and I want to make excuses but I kept
saying I' m good, nobody is going to bother me.
Now, if I sit there and watch and just worry about my family and I, say, well, alright,
I don't know the neighbors, I don't know these people so if something happens to them
it's not my problem.
But if you create an environment or if you help to facilitate an environment where nobody
else is around you is safe and you don't even know these people, then anything can
happen.
If you sit there and watch something happen to your neighbor, it can happen to you, it
can happen to your family.
But we don't look at it like that because we don't want to get involved as long as
we're good then we're good.
But if we're not at all good, you're not good.
You have to start to understand that.
Because over the last few decades our communities have become....we don't know each other.
Most of us whether you live in...If you live in a building you don't know the person
that's right next door to you, your neighbor.
You don't know them, probably don't even speak to them or do more than say hi and goodbye.
If you live in a house, you probably don't know your neighbors on the side of you.
You don't know the people on your block.
We don't know each other.
We don't know everybody.
Why, because we are all afraid of each other?
Because we're all so consumed with our own lives and our own selves and we're just
all antisocial, why?
All of this is a form of stress because if I can't be comfortable around the people
that I'm surrounded by then it causes tension.
Think about that.
If I don't know you, even if we're not posing a problem to each other, there is some
sort of uneasiness because I don't know you.
But if we live around each other, we see each other every day, why don't we know each
other?
We don't have to be best friends, we don't have to invite each other over for dinner
every day but we should know each other.
We should create a situation where we are looking out for each other just in a general
aspect of things, but we don't do that.
And these things, whether we realize it or not, it weighs on your mind, it pulls you
down, it brings your energy down, it raises your stress levels.
Because subconsciously, you are thinking and internalizing, and in dealing with all this
stuff, and it's actually negative, when you get around people that you know, when
you're comfortable with, you're comfortable, right?
When you get around your friends and your family you are comfortable because you know
them, you know you can relax, but if you don't know the people, other people that surround
you in your area, you're always on guard, you're always on watch, you are uncomfortable.
If you're uncomfortable, your mind isn't settled.
If your mind isn't settled, your body is not settled.
All of the stuff is relative.
Think about it.
Why is it so hard to walk past somebody and say hello?
Why is it so hard to walk past somebody and smile?
Why is it so hard to hold the door open for somebody?
Why is it so hard to say thank you?
If I bump into you, I'm sorry, I apologize, I didn't mean to do that, you're okay?
Why is that so hard?
Why are we all so aggressive and agitated and on the go and this and that.
Hah!
Why, why, why?
Ask yourself why.
What has anybody around your neighborhood really done to you?
I don't get along with one of my neighbors.
I don't think we are ever going to fix that but still I can't allow myself to walk around
agitated and frustrated.
Because it puts me in a bad place and when I'm in a bad place I do bad things, and
that's most of us.
If you agitate me and if you piss me off, you frustrate me and if you provoke me, things
are going to happen, right?
I'm no different from anybody else but it's how you deal with these things.
It's how you work with yourself, because you can't control these other people.
You can't control their actions.
You can try, and I have, but it doesn't always work.
So when that doesn't work, all you are going to do is put yourself in a situation where
you're in trouble, and you don't need that, right?
So you have to find a way within yourself to deal with it and let it go or somehow deal
with these things where it's not stressful to you.
Because you can't walk around agitated and pissed off and irritated all day.
It's not good for you.
It doesn't make me feel good.
I can tell you that straight up.
So the point is, you could be at odds with one person, and that's life sometimes, but
you don't have to be at odds with everybody around you.
And most of us act like we're at odds with our neighbors in our community when we don't
even know these people.
So we all should try to get to know each other a little better and just try to relax.
Because, again, it's just those type of things where your naturally tense and you
probably don't even realize it.
You're stressed out and you probably don't even realize it.
You think you're comfortable, you think you feel good, you think you are okay in your
environment, when you are not, and it's only because you didn't take the time to
know people around you.
You probably watch people from a distance and you form some type of opinion about them.
This person is not a good person.
This person is nosy.
This person...that person that's nosy, they might be the type of person that's going
to look out because they want to keep things safe.
I don't know, it depends on the person.
But have you ever looked at it like that?
Maybe the person that's nosy, and you're like, yo, they are always paying attention,
they are always in somebody's business, maybe if you were a little... maybe they're
just aware.
Maybe you should just be a little bit more aware.
Maybe they care so they're looking around like, yo, I'm l making sure my neighbors
are safe.
I'm making sure nobody is doing nothing crazy.
And maybe because you don't understand their intentions maybe you're internalizing it
and see something negative.
And then that negative view towards them, it makes you feel a certain way.
That energy comes out, whether you realize it or not.
We all project a certain energy, whether we realize it or not, and that energy is powerful.
That energy affects everything around us.
I'll get into that deeper but just think about what I have said.

07 A Short Interview with Hồ A Kiêm - Duration: 3:21.
Ah, making rice wine...
I make it myself. I learned from my mother.
Back in the day, my mother made the rice wine, but when she got older I started making it.
To start, I buy sweet rice [grain], Laotian sweet rice [grain].
After that, I return home and let it turn (ferment?) into sticky rice (xôi).
After it becomes sticky rice, I add in yeast and let it ferment.
I buy the yeast from the local people only, I won't take it from anywhere else.
The yeast, the alcohol -- I don't do anything to it.
I make the rice wine with the yeast that comes from the trees of leaves only.
They sell it in little circular pieces.
Once I add in the yeast, I let it sit for a month and a half and after that time, the
yeast produces the rice wine.
Waiting two months makes good rice wine, too, but it's a bit long.
A month and a half is good enough, forty-five days.
I don't add anything else to the rice wine, just take the yeast that the local people
sell and let it ferment and I heat it up so it becomes rice wine.
I have to have the water pot so the rice wine can heat up.
If I don't have the water pot up top, I'm afraid the rice wine won't come out*.
My hometown is here, I've lived here since I was young until now.
I'm Van Kieu.
Our culture, it follows the traditions of the Van Kieu.
I studied until 12th grade.
After studying, I learned how to speak the common language [referring to Vietnamese].
I need the firewood because it heats up the pot.
If the pot doesn't get hot, then the rice wine won't come out.
It's a bit slow, but it depends on the flames.
If the fire is big, I might burn it [the rice wine] and the rice wine won't taste good.
If the fire is small, it takes a longer time but the rice wine tastes better.
The Van Kieu language doesn't have its own characters, we use
the common language's characters [Vietnamese letters].
I studied the language since I was young and now I'm just used to it.
Everything is different about our language, it's just different.
I learned the language by just speaking it all the time and eventually I remembered it.
Just kept speaking Van Kieu with the older generations.
I'm afraid of losing it [referring to his language], but I'm not sure what to do.
If we lose it, we lose it.
But if we all live in the same house, my children can learn the language by talking with the
older generations and they will learn more easily,
they can study and understand from there.
If we lose it, we lose it.
We just don't have characters!
We just use the common language's characters.
Back in the day, my life was pretty difficult.
There were no roads here.
Nowadays, it's changed... it's become completely different.
There are new means of transportation, mobile phones, more information... all of it new.
Back in the day there wasn't any of it.
I was living a jungle life.
My life has been a lot of hard work.
That's why I'm doing the work here, so I can send my kids to school.
Whatever money I can earn goes to my children to go to school.
My only work is as a mountainous agriculture worker
and I make rice wine on the side for extra money.
My dream is that my work is prosperous, I'm strong and healthy,
that my children will thrive in school.
One liter [of rice wine] takes fifteen minutes.
Pure and original rice wine, I just make one liter of it.
After heating up this pot, I pour it out... pour it out so the fish can eat it.
My rice wine is special because of the yeast that comes from the leaves around this area.
The yeast I use isn't comparable to the yeast from other areas,
I don't do anything else with it.
I ask them [the sellers] to make it and they do what they do.
Say my name?
In Van Kieu?
My name is Ho Kiem.
And also, Ho Pa Hu [Van Kieu name].
Pa Hu

Why you SHOULD visit Mexico & tasting RELLENO NEGRO | Valladolid, Mexico - Duration: 4:20.
Today after 5 weeks in Mexico we want to talk about some of our favourite things in Mexico
and there are a heck of a lot of them so what we're going to do is being Chasing a Plate
we obviously want some food and obviously number 1 on our list is the food we're going
to grab some lunch.
We're in the Yucatan at the moment so we're just going to grab some Yucatan cuisine, that
will be number 1, over lunch we're going to discuss what the rest of the list is going
to be made up of and then we'll do the rest of the list because we love Mexico.
Woo hoo we love Mexico.
One of our favourite things about Mexico, the food.
There is so much variety and each state has different specialties and we have absolutely
loved, loved loved exploring it all.
Today we're in Valladolid and in the Yucatan, one specialty is relleno negro, I've been
wanting to try this for ages!
Look at it, it's like black as night, it's incredible.
It's like a stew and I think it gets its black colour from toasting chillies, if I'm wrong
please let me know in the comments below, it looks crazy.
Wow, the sauce is quite salty, it has a real beautiful undertone of chilli.
There's also turkey in here as well as some pork, I can't really tell and there's also
a hard boiled egg.
Wow, super delicious.
As always, the food is always so, so good!
The next thing we love is the colours, Mexico is so vibrant.
RED!
PINK!
GREEN!
YELLOW!
BLUE!
And it's not just the buildings in Mexico that are colourful, everything is colourful,
the sky is the most blue you've ever seen, the water's the most blue, the clothing is
the most bright, vibrant stuff you've ever seen, the spices are so bright, everything
is vibrant, lively and incredible.
Third reason why we love Mexico is because there is so much history and so much culture
to take in.
From amazing museums to stunning churches to pyramids, temples, ruins, cenotes, god
we have done so much amazing stuff we've learnt how mezcal is made in the Oaxacan hills,
we've cooked indigenous food of the Zapotecan people, this place is a wonderland.
Make sure you get away from the beach and in land and check some of this out, oh and
the ice creams are amazing, or ice blocks.
it's so hot here we needed to get another ice block.
These are amazing.
Something else we have loved during our time in Mexico is how safe we feel, constantly,
and it's something we get asked all the time.
Do you feel safe?
What's it like there? It is so safe, everyone is so lovely, there's no time where we've
felt threatened, where we've had any issue, we've traveled pretty extensively around the
world and this is one of the safest places I feel we've ever visited.
Do not fret, do not listen to the media, obviously there must be some areas that are unsafe,
but there's not one place in the world that doesn't have that issue, Mexico is so safe.
Final reason why we love Mexico?
The people of course!
Mexican people are so friendly, so welcoming and just plain kind.
We have had so many great encounters with locals, we don't speak a word of Spanish and
it hasn't been a problem, people have helped us when we've needed help and have just been
really, really, really friendly.
We hope we've inspired you to eat and explore like a traveler with this video, not a tourist.
Adios!
Visit Mexico!
