Youtube daily report May 31 2017

Hi guys, you guys are watching Zany TV

and I am Nicky here

and I am an upcoming independent solo artist

Hi I'm Paul, I'm a gyopo from California

and you can check me out on Youtube: Gyopoman

and yeah, I'm here to watch

Hello everyone! My name is Batinna

and I am a musical actress and choreographer here in Korea

Hi my name is Colin and I am a model and dancer here in Korea as well

Hello! My name is Arthur Días and I am a design student here in Korea

and I also work for Zany TV

I am Matheus and I am a student in Korea

Nice to meet you guys!

and today we are doing a music video reaction!

So many good things!

So, let's watch the next music video

Let's do it!

Dj, lit it up!

Cue! Okay

Okay, girl crush!

Oh, stop throwing me your money

I'm not a stripper

This is so nice!

Oh my God!

Wow!

Hello

Ooh, she looked pretty

Oh hey woman

The lyrics are marvellous

Yeah! I can understand everything! *sarcasm*

Feeling this

Ha!

How many are they there? 7? haha

Shall we count?

I think they are 7! Top 7

Its the top 7 Ranking I guess

She's like, "look at my coin"

Throwing Benjamin's

Throw the cash

There you go

If that's not dollar, it's undervalued

I really want to know what they are talking about

Beatdrop, beatdrop

Booom!

That was sick!

Booom!

I already know this song

This one in the middle is really pretty!

Yeah!

Oh Grafitti!

The blonde is the middle? like the main one?

All the hair colors are the same though

they are so pretty

They are so bad

It's a basebal bat, ladies and gentleman!

Is it the " Quadradinho de 8"?

Oh

like Rihanna bad

A few of these outfits came out really nicely

Seven Senses

Now they are about to crush the gas station

Hey, would you like to fill up the tank? (;,

She got a...

She got a paintball gun !

Can you see that?

What are you doing

I feel like they are staring into my soul

Oh that was nice

the choreography is actually pretty chill

Was that hairspray?

Have you seen it?? Have you?

The small lip's bite?

I like her, she's cute

she has like the girl next door vibe

I mean, I like it better than the other one

I like this one a lot

right

it's very colourful

Wait...How many of them spun there?

They are my girl crushes

I'm pretty sure the song is called seven senses?

or... girl crush?

Bullfight....Grafitti...Lyrics we don't understand...

you know, after doing some choreography for a while

and you do like those slow moments

when you've done it so many times

like, you don't even try anymore

You just kinda lay over a little bit

I wonder how many times they had to shoot this

Oh okay, breakdown

Oh yeah, I'm feeling it

I'm feeling it, are you feeling it?

Sounds fun

Yeah!

And they dance pretty well huh?

is this the mob

boom hey hey hey

did you not see Nay Nay in there?

That's also dangerous...

Sparkle Sparlke

Yes!

Girl Crush, I win

yeah, you win

Girl Crush!

Seven sins

Seven Senses

I was thrown away

I wanted to turn up the music

She was like "I like this part!"

I wasn't ready

I was ready to dance to it

Like, I really

I really like this video

I think it's like a good debut for them

like a good opening song

I love it

I love it

No word needed, I love it too

Very good!

I think we can easily see the similarities

with the korean pop style

I can see that

you know through the video

It made me want to dance

Very Korean-esque clothing

like even some of the brands

and choreography

like the clothing I recognised it from a lot of the brands

It was good

It was really good

it was catchy

You know, there were some parts

where you're like

"Oh, I can do it too...Boooom!"

Based on their dance skills

They're good!

Much stronger if compared with the last music video

The other one was much more delicate moves

And there were more people

Yeah, there were more people... So it should be simpler

This was more elaborated... They jumped well synched

I think it was put together really well

and like the energy level for the video

was really really good

and like, I don't know

it showed each girl's charm

I feel like it was overall really really good

and like, the choreography made it

like the sets were amazing

the clothes were amazing

yes, definitely

If you are going to keep doing this kind of stuff

yeah, definitely

It's more exciting... The boom part is very "sticky"

Yeah, it's sticky!

Thank you for having us today!

Thank you Zany TV!

Bye!

Thank you for having us Zany TV!

Bye!

Thank you Zany for the invitation and see you next time!

FOREIGNERS REACT TO CHINESE GIRL GROUP - SNH48 - Duration: 9:55.

Hi guys, you guys are watching ZanyTV

and I'm Nicky here and I am an upcoming independent solo artist

Hi, I'm Paul, I'm a gyopo from California

You can check me out on Youtube @Gyopoman

and yeah, I'm here to watch this

Hello everyone! My name is Batinna

and I am a musical actress and choreographer here in Korea

Hi my name is Collin and I am a model and dancer here in Korea as well

Hello, my name is Arthur Días and I am a design student here in Korea

and I also work at ZanyTv

I am Matheus and I am a student here in Korea

Nice to meet you guys!

and today we are doing a music video reaction!

This is like a Colosseum scene

Come on, salsa!

okay, I see you

what is that

what was that?

I love her outfit

I like the dress

They look like Chinese to me

I don't like what she's wearing

Is this kind of like

showing and embracing yourself

I love it!

Are they all in one group or is it just her?

No, one group

Oh, you're right

Those are a lot of members

I just want to see where is the bull

I love their outfits!

I'm so confused,

I wonder if she is the face of the group

Princess charming?

or prince charming?

That look like Prince Charming to you?

Princess charming, princess charming

So, someone is like the matador

Hold on!!!!

where did he come from?!

He's cute!

Who's the leader?

I don't know don't ask me

I don't even know who this group is

Here we go, there is the bull

don't get attacked

girl, be careful

I like the color choices for this though

yeah, they are really pretty

for anything bad I've done

and everything bad I'm gonna do

Okay, sexy vixen!

There goes daddy

Were those his fingers at the beginning of the video?

the crusty ones?

Maybe?

Princesses

I like this red that's hapenning

I like it

I feel like this is a symbolization of love,

I don't know the meaning of this song

but I know that red symbolizes wealth or love so I'm wondering

There are so many though

Yes daddy

dance break!

I don't know how to dance

That must be a Prince Charming

Wait what?

wait, lesbian love here too?

I don't know but it's kind of funny how she's the only blonde

She's really into her

are they like dating or something?

The videos, there were like twelve of them dancing together

She said, bitch you die

Some American Beauty in here

You could just do that

You see what I mean now?

Yeah

So there are five officially new guys

Wait what?

That bull had the most humongous amount of snot

coming from his nose

why would you

I don't know I just saw that

Is this like the drop?

I wish I could do like

Oh it's a telenovela

Mi corazón (my heart)

Mi amor (my love)

te quiero (I love you)

Oh, that was nice

I would've never been able to count that

Exactly. These are only sixteen of them

So there is 32 girls who are like

I'm watching my team members in Spain

I like the music video

they have cute voices and they have very nice faces

they are pretty

I was just kind of confused because I didn't know

there would be that many members

there were so many members, but they only used like

five girls for the main vocals

Kinda sad, very sad

It's VERY sad

very sad

cause If I were them

I would want to be in the video

You know, acting

nope

this is not my first Chinese pop music video that I've seen

but I think that the Chinese entertainment music video pop scene is growing

This is really impressive

I think it matched the video

the dance and the choreography matches the vibe of the video

The dance was very capturing

Especially the beginning

The way they were interacting with the dance and the clothing

okay whetever but so many people were left behind

what do you think of this song later

I like the dancing. The dancing was cool

Dancing was cool, I liked the bull

The cute bull, it was very cute

I love the bull

I wouldn't pet the bull

Wow, like... I never imagined they would have such a synch

Thats true.

And also the Flamenco! OMG

She danced really well

The flamenco dancing girl, was really good!

There was just one thing she was missing...

Some castanets

Was missing some castanets but she danced very well

The Flamenco girl

And also that seduction game

Her eye blinking moments, wow

IF YOU OPEN A WATERMELON AND YOU SEE THESE CRACKS WITHIN, DON'T EAT IT! - Duration: 2:21.

OUR WEBSITE : http://justhealthrelated.com/ Besides the pleasant taste and color and refreshing

flavor, watermelons have numerous benefits for our health.

The unique fruit can protect our cardiovascular system and is a powerful diuretic which can

prevent water retention.

It can also improve your sexual health and has an effect similar to Viagra.

Watermelon is rich in vitamins A and C, as well as minerals such as potassium, phosphorus,

magnesium and calcium.

Although healthy and beneficial, not every watermelon is the same.

For example, you should not eat a watermelon in case you see cracks within the flash, which

is a sign that the fruit has been treated with chemicals.

The cracks in the flesh appear as a result of a chemical called forchlorfenuron, a chemical

powder that is used to accelerate the growth of fruits.

However, if it enters the body, forchlorfenuron can cause cancer and neurological damage and

destroy your overall health.

This is why you should avoid eating watermelon if you see cracks in the flesh.

Although forchlorfenuron is banned in many countries, it's use is allowed in China,

which produces a big amount of watermelons.

This is why we recommend always buying organic fruits and paying attention to their state.

HEALTH BENEFITS OF WATERMELON

GREAT FOR YOUR HEART

According to studies, watermelon can fight the accumulation of plaque in the arteries

that may cause a heart attack.

The fruit contains a compound known as citrulline, which turns to arginine in the body that can

keep your arteries clean and your blood flow in control.

WATERMELON FOR WEIGHT LOSS

Watermelon is low in fat and calories, but contains numerous essential nutrients, phytonutrients

and antioxidants.

Eating the fruit as a snack can promote weight loss – just cut a watermelon on cubes and

keep it in the fridge, then take a few whenever you're feeling hungry.

GOOD FOR YOUR EYES

Watermelon contains a lot of beta carotene, which turns to vitamin A in the body and protects

the eyes from damage.

Vitamin A stimulates the production of pigments in the retina and protects against age-related

macular degeneration and night blindness.

The fruit contains vitamin C as well, which can strengthen your immune system and prevent

cataract.

Canada's non-invitation to the man who will be king, eventually - Duration: 4:42.

It must have been a slap upside his stiff upper lip when Prince Charles, direct heir

to the British monarchy, was snubbed by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in favour of his more

attractive elder son and his glamourous wife. Many of us reading this today will likely

be dead by the time Prince William assumes the throne.

Queen Elizabeth, now 90, is showing no signs of packing it in and, with 95 year old Prince

Philip agilely matching Her Royal Highness every step, Prince Charles sits on the sidelines

waiting for fate to deliver the mortal blow. He must feel like hes locked inside a Samuel

Beckett play. Waiting, and waiting. Of course, we all know why our PM recently

sent out an invitation for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, a.k.a William and Kate, to visit

Canada in the lead up to next years celebrations of Canadas 150th birthday. Theyre young,

and theyre hot looking, like the Trudeaus. They are not as hot, mind you, as Justin Trudeau

thinks hes hot, although beauty being in the eye of the beholder, it could be a toss-up

between Sophie Gregoire-Trudeau and the former Kate Middleton as to who the international

paparazzi deem to be the fairest. Both women live in fairy tales, after all.

Ones a real princess; the other seems to think she is.

While protocol would suggest the direct heir to the throne should have received Trudeaus

invitation, and not someone who will likely be standing second in line for years to come,

the idea of photo ops with Prince Charles and Camilla likely did not turn the crank

of the Trudeaus. Prince Charles, after all, is now 67, and

therefore a geezer entitled to Britains old age pension, not some dashing Joe Fresh.

And, as for the former Camilla Parker-Bowles, well, not only is she is a year older than

Prince Charles but she is not exactly Princess Diana photogenic.

Besides, if Charles and Camilla were invited, some dirty, rotten Canadian newspaper columnist

would likely dredge up the six-minute bedtime telephone chat between the two that a scanning

device happened to record back in 1989. Yes, that embarrassing conversation during

which a pining Prince Charles wished he could live inside (Camillas) trousers, even

if bad luck had him being her Tampax. Google it if you must.

For a man who would be king, Prince Charles cant seem to win for losing, with genetics

working both ways. His maternal grandmother, the beloved Queen

Mum, was 101 when she died in 2002, which means Queen Elizabeth still has another 11

years on the throne if she can match her mothers longevity.

That will make Charles 78 years old when, and if, the Queen hits 101, and Prince William

only 45. Is that Godot on the horizon? Or just an illusion?

Prince Charles has been first in line to the throne since 1952, which will make him the

oldest to ever accede to the throne, even if it were to happen by lightning strike tomorrow.

The record was previously held by William IV, who was approaching 65 when he became

sovereign following the death of George III in 1830.

To be precise, he waited 64 years, 10 months and five days to be crowned.

Last heard, Prince Charles was filling time by contemplating inviting the Welsh soccer

team to his home at Clarence House to congratulate them for surprisingly making it to the semi

finals of the recent Euro 2016 tournament, where they lost 2 0 to the eventual winner,

Portugal. This was around the time Charles and Camilla

were in Wales, participating at a bread kneading contest at an historic bakery.

One could almost quip that Prince Charles was at least earning his dough while waiting

out the next invitation. He now knows, however, that one from the Trudeaus

wont be forthcoming. tell us your thoughts in comments below. thanks for watching. please

Season 2, Episode 12: Tiana Webberley Gets A Second Chance | Team Ninja Warrior - Duration: 1:44.

- Here we go!

Sweet T was 4-0 last year in "Team Ninja Warrior,"

but Jeri D'Aurelio, an early advantage.

- Yeah, Matt, she's off to a fast start here,

but they're right behind each other, almost neck and neck.

- Well, D'Aurelio has been training with the Army.

Basic training for the JAG Corps.

- Watch out for that jolt. - Sweet T...

- Oh, Tiana's got it!

I like that nickname: Sweet T.

You gotta be sweet here on the transition.

- Well, Jeri D'Aurelio hung up on the Ring of Fire

as Tiana Webberley on the Cargo Net now.

- Get under that, making sure you stay dry.

- And she'll be the first to take on the Floating Tiles.

D'Aurelio's trying to get back into this race.

Webberley attacking the tiles, and she's through.

- And D'Aurelio's gaining on her.

- Oh!

And D'Aurelio-- - D'Aurelio fighting.

- A great save.

Remember, it is never over until that buzzer is hit.

Now both on the Fly Wheels

Sweet T propelling herself, but D'Aurelio even with her.

- She's not out of it. - Oh, my!

- And that's what I love about team: you're never out of it!

- Oh, my, look at this! Jeri D'Aurelio's neck and neck!

- It ain't over till it's over, Matt.

- And you see the comeback here, can they get the dismount?

- Down at the same point. They gotta dismount together.

- Tiana Webberley off first, and that is a big finish.

D'Aurelio there, she has to get up the Warped Wall first.

- Oh, nice flip! Now she's gotta flip mode up on that wall!

- Oh! The door is open for D'Aurelio.

Both women exhausted. Who will get there first?

Here we go.

- Time to compete against a top dollar here.

- Neck and neck. - Oh!

- And Webberley does it!

Sperry How Team Obama Tried To Hack The Election - Duration: 4:49.

Sperry How Team Obama Tried To Hack The Election

by Tyler Durden

New revelations have surfaced that the Obama administration abused intelligence during

the election by launching a massive domestic spy campaign that included snooping on Trump

officials.

The irony is mind-boggling: Targeting political opposition is long a technique of police states

like Russia, which Team Obama has loudly condemned for allegedly using its own intelligence agencies

to hack into our election.

The revelations, as well as testimony this week from former Obama intel officials, show

the extent to which the Obama administration politicized and weaponized intelligence against

Americans.

Thanks to Circa News, we now know the National Security Agency under President Barack Obama

routinely violated privacy protections while snooping through foreign intercepts involving

US citizens and failed to disclose the breaches, prompting the Foreign Intelligence

Surveillance Court a month before the election to rebuke administration officials.

The story concerns whats known as upstream data collection under Section 702 of the Foreign

Intelligence Surveillance Act, under which the NSA looks at the content of electronic

communication. Upstream refers to intel scooped up about third parties: Person A sends Person

B an email mentioning Person C. Though Person C isnt a party to the email, his information

will be scooped up and potentially used by the NSA.

Further, the number of NSA data searches about Americans mushroomed after Obama loosened

rules for protecting such identities from government officials and thus the reporters

they talk to.

The FISA court called it a very serious Fourth Amendment issue that NSA analysts

in violation of a 2011 rule change prohibiting officials from searching Americans information

without a warrant had been conducting such queries in violation of that prohibition,

with much greater frequency than had been previously disclosed to the Court.

A number of those searches were made from the White House, and included private citizens

working for the Trump campaign, some of whose identities were leaked to the media. The revelations

earned a stern rebuke from the ACLU and from civil liberties champion Sen. Rand Paul.

We also learned this week that Obama intelligence officials really had no good reason attaching

a summary of a dossier on Trump to a highly classified Russia briefing they gave to Obama

just weeks before Trump took office.

Under congressional questioning Tuesday, Obamas CIA chief John Brennan said the dossier did

not in any way factor into the agencys assessment that Russia interfered in the election.

Why not? Because as Obama intel czar James Clapper earlier testified, We could not

corroborate the sourcing.

But that didnt stop Brennan in January from attaching its contents to the official

report for the president. He also included the unverified allegations in the briefing

he gave Hill Democrats.

In so doing, Brennan virtually guaranteed that it would be leaked, which it promptly

was.

In short, Brennan politicized raw intelligence. In fact, he politicized the entire CIA.

Langley vets say Brennan was the most politicized director in the agencys history. Former

CIA field operations officer Gene Coyle said Brennan was known as the greatest sycophant

in the history of the CIA, and a supporter of Hillary Clinton before the election. I

find it hard to put any real credence in anything that the man says.

Coyle noted that Brennan broke with his predecessors who stayed out of elections. Several weeks

before the vote, he made it very clear he was pulling for Hillary. His deputy Mike Morell

even came out and publicly endorsed her in the New York Times, claiming Trump was an

unwitting agent of Moscow.

Brennan isnt just a Democrat. Hes a radical leftist who in 1980 during the

height of the Cold War voted for a Communist Party candidate for president.

When Brennan rants about the dangers of strongman Vladimir Putin targeting our elections and

subverting our democratic process, does he not catch at least a glimpse of his own reflection?

What he and the rest of the Obama gang did has inflicted more damage on the integrity

of our electoral process than anything the Russians have done.

How to Keep Your Dog Occupied Indoors! Indoor Exercise for Dogs! - Duration: 3:23.

Have you ever had one of those days where it's pouring down with rain outside but your

dog is desperate to get outside and run off his energy?

Or has your dog been injured or ill and you can't let him outside, but he still wants

to play?

If so, we're here with our top tips on how to keep your dog exercised and energised indoors.

Dogs benefit greatly from daily exercise and it keeps their minds and bodies active and

healthy.

So it's really important that you do make sure that your dog is still getting plenty

of mental and physical exercise, even if you can't get outside.

Sometimes you will find that mental exercise is actually more tiring for your dog than

physical exercise.

So why don't you make sure that your dog has lots of mental stimulation inside, with treat

puzzles, toy puzzles or just some basic training for inside.

This is going to keep his mind really active and it's going to tire him out.

We recommend using a Kong with a filler in it, or there's lots of different treat puzzle

toys as well which you can get online or you can actually make yourself.

Whether your dog is young or old, he's going to benefit from learning new tricks, so this

is something you can do indoors quite easily.

Whether it's teaching him something entirely new or just brushing up on some old tricks

like sit, lay down, come - all of the basic training - this is really going to stimulate

his mind and it's going to be great exercise for him to do indoors.

Alternatively, you can opt for physical exercise indoors as well.

Whether it's running laps of the house, running up and down the stairs, playing hide and seek

- all of these things are going to be really good physical exercise for your dog.

Our final tip is to combine both mental and physical activities indoors with your dog.

Playing hide and seek with your dog is a perfect example of this.

Find his favourite treat or his favourite toy, hide it, get him to wait where he can't

find it and ask him to sniff it out.

Or, play hide and seek with you!

Get him to stay in one place, you go and hide and he has to come and find you.

This is really good because it's making your dog use all of his senses as well, so as well

as the mental and physical exercise - he's using all of his senses to find the thing

that he wants most.

With a scavenger hunt inside, you can wrap up your dog's treats and toys in towels and

hide them.

This means that once he finds them he then has to dig them out as well - this is going

to be just as fun as burying your dog's bone in the back yard!

It is important to remember that all of these games are going to be dependent on your dog.

For example, you can't be running up and down the stairs with an older dog who may be suffering

with arthritis.Use your best judgement and surely you will find something that's perfect

to keep your dog exercised indoors.

We've got a special competition on this week to win this guy!If you want to win this for

your dog then all you need to do is simply comment your best doggy life hack in the comment

section below and we'll be choosing our favourite and announcing the winner in next week's video.

We really hope that you enjoyed today's video, if you did please do give us a big thumbs

up and if you haven't subscribed already then make sure you hit that button!

But that's it from us for now, so we'll see you again next week!

Bye!

9 HACKS TO BOOST YOUR YOUTUBE CHANNEL IN 2017 | 4K - Duration: 3:45.

Hi!!

if you're new to this channel

you can find vlogs, tutorials,

there's also a web serie "Behind The Vlog"

if you're vlogger you could be interested!

a web serie "Expat Life"

so if you're an expat or if you're going to become an expat

you could also be interested

you can also find challenges

and a lot of other videos!

I let you take a look

if you clicked on this video, it's probably

because you have a YouTube Channel

and you want to get a lot of

subscribers, to grow a lot

to get millions of views

to become a millionaire etc

if this is your real goal

I can't help you sorry

aha

because as you can see

I don't have 50 000 000 subscribers!

on the other side, if you want to boost

your YouTube Channel

there are some tips I can give you

and I think they work very well

in 2017

some things I've been doing for a few months now

and I went from

a few subscribers (10/20)

to more than 500

for me it's still a small step

try to upload regularly

daily is probably the best if you can

at the same time everyday!

answer the comments in all your videos

after all, if you share it to the world by making public videos

keep this sharing thing in the comment section !

of YouTube

encourage your audience

to subscribe

to watch more of your videos

(example) - if you're starting a vlogging channel, check this web serie

behind the vlog

it's very useful

you can learn how to start your vlog

how to prepare your videos

and a lot more !

if you like travelling, I advise you to check this playlist

it's in the description below

you can find vlogs I made during my trips

in malaysia

singapore, hong kong, thailand,

vietnam, new zealand, in France

and of course in Taiwan

since I leave here in Taiwan !

trust me you'll like them!

don't forget to be energetic

in your videos

otherwise your viewers will probably fall asleep

or choose another video

be careful to the music!

that can help a lot to keep your viewers awake

but above all, that can

encourage them to keep watching your content, your channel etc

try to get the best audio possible

you can be amazingly beautiful, have a 50 000$ camera

be in the most insane place in the world,

if your audio sucks

nobody will keep watching your video

more that 10 or 15 seconds

simply because it's so annoying to watch a video

with a really bad audio

so buy an external microphone

try to avoid windy and crowded places

and no excuses!

it's so cheap now to buy a microphone

you don't need a 500$ microphone

a 50$ one, your audio will be perfect!

let's talk clickbait!!!!

it kind of works!

you'll get a lot of views

but since YouTube prefers watch time rather than views

the people that came to see your clickbait video

if they don't find the content they clicked on your video for

they won't come back to your channel / other content

without forgetting that your watch time now sucks

so your content is unlikely to be recommended to viewers!

so if you're using clickbait

try to work on the title

but don't forget to put the content in the video!!!

otherwise, bad idea

try to diversify your content

you'll reach more people

your audience will become bigger

and maybe the people that came for your laundry tutorial

will keep watching your content, like your vlogs etc

so diversify your content

= bigger audience = chance to get more views and subscribers

obviously, the most important thing

but if you have a YouTube Channel, you probably know that already

keep providing content that you like

don't do a video about fidget spinners

if you hate it!

so find a subject that you like

so we can feel that you're passionate about it

because otherwise, nobody will want to watch your video

and then it's useless

now tell me what you think about this video

in the comments below

you can also give me a like

and subscribe to watch more videos like this one!

btw, don't forget to watch the vlogs!

According to an article written by Mathew Archbold that was published on the National

Catholic Register on the 21st of May, 2017, "atheism is uncoolest choice ever", and

he can prove it!

Get your popcorn kids, because this guy's gone full-retard…

This, is Atheism is the Uncoolest Choice Ever – Debunked.

So, Mathew, first and foremost, and as I've covered in other videos, belief isn't a

choice… something either makes sense to us, or it doesn't.

Sure, we can expose ourselves to certain arguments and resources, and we can say that we believe

whatever we want, but we can't wholeheartedly really believe whatever we want, because that's

just not how belief works.

I mean try it Mathew, try to believe that the universe was created by the Twelve Olympians

– you can't; you'll fail.

Anyhow, now that we've addressed the title, let's get to the article itself…

Number eight: "religious people live longer, happier lives, according to numerous scientific

studies."

So unfortunately, Mathew doesn't provide a single link to any of these numerous scientific

studies, and so to my annoyance, I've done his research for him.

As it turns out, countries with a very short life expectancy are significantly more religious

than countries with long life expectancy – to name but one example, Japan has a longest

life expectancy in the world, being 75 years, and only 24% of their population considers

religion important; while Samalia has a life expectancy of just 48 years, and over 98%

of their population considers religion important.

However, with this said, when we compare the life expectancy of religious and non-religious

people from the same country, there is indeed some studies that show a correlation between

religiosity and longer life expectancy, and these study speculate that this has something

to do with the community that religions tend to provide, which, considering that we're

a social species, I'm not surprised by.

But it simply has to be stated that 'even if it were conclusively proven that the religious

live longer than the non-religious, this wouldn't make any religion true'; a drunk person

might be happier than a sober person, but the drunk person is still out of his mind.

Number seven: "Michelangelo and Bach (look 'em up kids!) were indisputably awesome Christian

artists.

But hey, atheists have the kid who plays Harry Potter.

Do you really don't want to be a part of any group that includes the actor formerly known

as Harry Potter.

Or maybe you do because that's how uncool you actually are."

… I honestly can't tell if he's being serious at this point.

First of all, Michelangelo and Bach lived before Darwin discovered natural selection,

and that absolutely matters.

Before the discovery of natural selection it was very hard to explain how complex and

seemingly designed organisms can arise without a creator or creators, but we now know exactly

how this can occur and we have unimpeachable proof of it.

Furthermore, Michelangelo and Bach were primarily artists – and art is a passionate subject

that requires introspection and emotion – which is a type of intelligence, but it's not

the type that develops an accurate representation of reality (that would be science).

And according to a PEW study conducted in 2009, scientists are dramatically less religious

than the general public, and another study conducted by Nature has found that less than

7% of 'elite scientists' are religious.

And finally, Daniel Radcliffe is a cool guy.

Number six: "Typical atheist gathering vs. World Youth Day."

Are you kidding me?

1) even if atheist and secular gatherings were tiny compared to Christian gatherings,

this would have no bearing on the truth whatsoever.

At a time most people believed in Zeus, but that doesn't mean that Zeus existed… this

is an opaque Appeal to Popularity.

Anyhow, two can play your dishonest game Mathew, just look at this atheist gatherings vs. this

Christian gathering.

Number five: "Most of your big time mass killers of the 20th century were atheists.

I'm talking Stalin, Mao, and Che among others."

Mathew, did you know that these big time mass killers were also non-stamp collectors?

And that they all brushed their teeth?

Why would you want to be a non-stamp collector?

Why would you want to brush your teeth knowing that these killers also brushed theirs?

The point being is that you're committing a Guilt by Association fallacy, a type of

red-herring which attempts to discredit something based upon disfavoured people or groups associated

with it.

What you're essentially saying is that: Joseph Stalin was an atheist.

Stalin killed millions of people.

And therefore atheism killed millions of people.

But this is just as absurd and disingenuous as saying that: Fred Phelps was a Christian.

Phelps preached hate and picketed funerals.

And therefore Christians preach hate and picket funerals.

Find a single quote of these killers saying that they committed their crimes because of

their lack of belief in god, and then we'll have a real conversation – until then, just

stop being so disingenuous!

Number four: "This is an extreme Christian, and this is an extreme atheist – see the

difference?"

Yeah, one is fraudulent fanatical fundamentalist, and the other is a respected scientist who

passionately defends facts and truth from fraudulent fanatical fundamentalists…

To quote Hitchens, "Mother Teresa was not a friend of the poor, she was a friend of

poverty.

She said that suffering was a gift from god.

She spent her whole life opposing the only known cure for poverty, which is the empowerment

of women and the emancipation of them from a livestock version of compulsory reproduction."

She wasn't a good person… because her religion stopped her from being a good person.

She is but one of countless examples of religion making otherwise decent and caring people

say and do atrocious things!

And again… even if Christianity made people nicer than non-Christians, this would not

make Christianity true.

After all, Jainists are almost certainly nicer than Christians, but that doesn't mean that

Jainism is true.

You seriously are the king of non-sequiturs Mathew!

Number 3: "As a Christian, my wife looks at me like I'm a gift from God.

Seriously, to her that's what I am.

Your atheist girlfriend (should you ever get one after you move out of your stepdad's basement)

will see you as a gel-haired accident in skinny jeans on a lonely rock orbiting a meaningless

sun in a mistake of a universe.

See the difference?

It's kind of a big one."

… Erh, a gift from god you say… okay, I erh…

I assume you met on April Fools?

Anyhow, me and my atheist girlfriend frequently tell each other how lucky we are to enjoy

however long we're able to be together in this universe that most certainly doesn't

have us in mind.

We don't pretend that the universe thinks we're special – but we know that we are

special to one-another.

New don't have to make crap up!

Number 2: "Many of your college professors agree with your atheist beliefs.

How's that for the uncoolest choice ever?

Hey, look at you siding with all the gray-haired tweedy authoritarian types at your school."

Does someone not like the fact that the more educated you are, the less likely you are

to believe in barbaric inane nonsense?

Aw…

You're a dying bred Mathew, and you know it.

It might come as a surprise to you since you think that belief is a choice, but when you

care about what's true and you actually get embarrassed about pretending to know things

that you can't possibly know, that's when you'll appreciate that atheism is the honest

answer.

We don't share our professors believes because they're cool… we share them because they're

based on sound rationality and demonstrability, two concepts that you evidently don't appreciate!

Number 1: "Atheists have less children and that probably means...well you probably know

what that means since you're all about SCIENCE!"

What?

It means that we care about the population crisis and know how to use contraception…

Furthermore, what do you mean by "you probably know what that means"?

You do know that religiosity is almost exclusively a cultural phenomenon, right?

Genetics has very little to do with it – unless you're inbreeding, like, to be fair, your

book implicitly indorses… if humanity had to start anew, from scratch, with no information

whatsoever, Christianity, like all religions, would never return, but the truth would – in

time we would once again discover that the earth is a sphere, that evolution is true,

and that the universe doesn't care about us.

Anyhow, Mathew concludes with, "to sum up, you'll be miserable, have a shorter life,

and quite likely less sex than your religious counterparts.

And you thought atheism was cool?

Reconsider and repent ye' fools.

Jesus said he is the way, the truth, and the life.

Left unsaid, is that He's totally cooler than Richard Dawkins!"

And here's my conclusion.

To sum up, Mathew, you're an insincere, lying, close-minded, deluded, scientifically

illiterate egomaniac who doesn't know how to use a condom.

You are, unfortunate to say, one of the most foolish and uncoolest idiotic mammals alive.

Anyhow, to the rest of you, and as always, thank you kindly for the view, and remember

to subscribe, less you want to be as uncool as Mathew Archbold.

Just before I go however, I thought I'd share this cool gift that I received today

[it's my birthday.

My good friend Magnus sent me this, and it says to HippieAtheist…

Congratulations for surpassing one subscriber…

My Favorite Contemporary Books | Recommendations - Duration: 10:40.

Hey guys, it's Trina and this is my monthly recommendations video for May.

Monthly recommendations is a Goodreads group that was created by myself and my

friend Kayla Rayne. May's topic is contemporary, which is a pretty broad

genre. We've been wanting to do it for a while. We thought it was very fitting for

the spring and summer months. I want to kind of take this opportunity to just

talk about my personal favorite contemporary books. My first contemporary

series that I want to talk about is the Anna and the French Kiss series by

Stephanie Perkins. Although I do have some mixed opinions

on some of the things that occurred in these books, I just remember that I did

not want to read this book. I thought it was going to just be so bad, and then I

finally picked it up and I just blew through it. Like, it was one of those read

it in one night kind of books for me. So I had a really fun experience with that

first book and then I ended up enjoying books 2 & 3 a lot more. So if you aren't

familiar with the series, these are three different companion novels, so each one

does follow a new character. If you're looking for books to just kind of

breeze through really easily and if fluffy romantic contemporary is your

thing, I definitely think that this series is a really good kind of standby

series to meet that fluffy romantic contemporary vibe. The third book, Isla and the

Happily Ever After, is definitely my favorite of the series because I felt so

much more connected to that relationship than I did to the first two. Whereas the

other two books just showed the swoony romantic build-up to getting together,

Isla actually showed a relationship in progress and I just really appreciated

it for that. So I definitely loved this series but specifically it's Isla and the

Happily Ever After out of this series that is my favorite. Next I'm going to

talk about the Burn For Burn trilogy by Jenny Han and Siobhan Vivian. This is a

revenge story. It's following three high school girls from completely different

cliques who have all been burned and hurt by the popular guy in school. So

these three girls all kind of band together and keep their friendship a

secret and they're plotting revenge to get back at this guy who is like ruining

their lives, and I'm just a sucker for good revenge story. I also

enjoyed watching these friendships develop because none of these girls have

a lot in common except for their desire for revenge and

then the revenge plot kind of goes off of its tracks at times and they get in way

over their heads. I thought it was fun so if you like revenge stories and you're

more in the mood for that as opposed to something very fluffy, although there is

some romance in that series too, then I would recommend the Burn For Burn trilogy.

Next up is Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell which I know is a standby

for like everybody. Reasons why I love this book is because first of all,

it's set in college and I think at the time that I had read this, which was years

ago by the way, I think I hadn't really read any books

that were set in college. I just found this time of life to be so much more

relatable to me. But I also had an extreme connection to the main character,

Cath, because she does have social anxiety and again I don't think I had

ever read a book at that time of a character that had anxiety and I saw so

much of myself in her. I also really enjoyed the romance, the friendships, the

sister relationship, the family dynamic in this book and it is definitely a book

that when someone says, 'hey what are some of your favorite contemporaries?' this one

always comes to mind because of that connection I've had with it. Next up is

one of those grittier, more hard-hitting books and that is The Female of the

Species by Mindy McGinnis. It's one of my favorite contemporaries because this

book is so real. If you don't know, this is a rape revenge story and it is just

tackling rape culture. That's the entire purpose of the book. Now, because this is

dealing with rape culture you are going to have some scenes in this book that do

depict attempted rape and just some really horrible stuff, like there's

murders and stuff that happen in this book because of that revenge aspect too.

But on the other side I think that this book is approaching it in an informative

and a healing way. It's not doing these things just for shock value, just to like

get a reaction out of you. It's really an examination of them so I do think it is

a healthy examination. I also enjoy the friendships in this book and the family

of one of the main characters Peekay, like her parents were just so supportive and

I just think that this is a healthy conversation starter that we really need

to have in YA so I really love this book. It is a favorite contemporary of mine.

Next is The Girl Who Fell by S. M. Parker which is a... really dark book

because this one is examining an inside look at an abusive

romance. So we're following a girl who meets a new guy, she falls for him,

and then slowly but surely the reader starts seeing that this is an abusive

relationship. It's a very terrifying type of novel. It's definitely not a feel-good

book. You're going to hate it but that's the point, and as someone who has been in

an abusive relationship I actually love this book.

This is the best examination of an abusive relationship that I have ever

read about in a book. This book just offered a really well-rounded look at all

the things that might happen in a relationship like this. It offered me a

mirror yet again and I just felt very empowered by this story and I'm really

really glad that we have stories like this that exist in YA because I think

more teenagers need to be seeing examples like this so that they will

kind of recognize some of the warning signs. At least, I wish I had when I was a teenager.

Next is The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas.

I just read this a couple months ago and it's my favorite book that I've read so

far this year. Like, it really is that good. It follows a black teenager named

Starr who witnesses one of her friends being shot by a white policeman

and just kind of like the repercussions of this and the media coverage of it and

how it wants to paint her black teenage friend as just a thug, and hoodlum, and

you know he's a drug dealer and they're just slandering him and they're trying

to make the white policeman out to be like he was scared for his life

even though the guy was not doing anything threatening at all. Aside from

it tackling a very important issue this book was just amazingly well written as

well. Angie Thomas wrote so many different tones, so many different scenes

in this book. She transitioned between them flawlessly. The characterization was

amazing, the relationships between Starr and her friendships, and her family, and

the community, everything was just written so well. It was such a real story

and Starr's such a real character. I just loved everything about this book

so it is definitely one of my favorite contemporary stories. Next is If I Was

Your Girl by Meredith Russo, which is a book about a trans girl and her

experience. She has already transitioned and she's at a new school, she just moved

in with her father where she previously was living with her mother, and this book

is amazing at examining - again family dynamics. I feel like that's probably a

theme in why I'm liking a lot of these books because I keep saying, 'I love

the family dynamics in this book,' but I loved the family exploration in this

book. This one is ownvoices and I just think that there is a lot of value in it.

There's a really cute romance in it, there are some good friendships, although

some of the friendships I felt like weren't the best, but the story itself

and the characters were really really great and it's definitely worth

mentioning because every time I think of amazing contemporary stories this

one definitely does come to mind. Next is In Real Life by Jessica Love. It is

about two characters who know each other online. One of them has a crush on the

other. She decides to go out and meet him in real life for the first time ever and

tell him about her crush and when she gets there she realizes that he hasn't

been completely truthful about everything in his life. Now, I have

recommended this to a few friends and they say that they hate the tropes that

are in it and I do see that there definitely are a few tropes that are pretty

heavy in it but when I read it I felt like this book flipped all those tropes

on their heads like it was actively trying to subvert them because it would

like start going down this one path and the characters would be like, 'well why

are we really doing that?' and I just really enjoyed it. This one to me was

just like a feel-good happy making book so if you're looking for a book that's

just going to be really easy to fly through and just going to make you feel

happy this one did that for me so I still think it's definitely worth

recommending. Another favorite is Just One Day by Gayle Forman. This is about a

young girl who is on a college trip in London and then she meets a guy there

and they decide that they're going to take a train and go to Paris for just

one day to spend it together. She's never really taken a risk like that so she

just goes for it and they spend this wonderful day together in Paris and then

she wakes up the next morning and he's gone and she has no idea what's happened

to him. The story follows her as she tries to piece together this mystery of

what really happened during that day and how that day has changed her life. So,

this book does not all take place from start to finish in just one day,

that's about maybe the first third of the book and then the rest of the book

examines her life in like the following year after that and when I read this

book this is another one that just had a really deep personal meaning for me

because this character is a person that's struggling to move on from a

relationship that she doesn't know why it ended. She needs

closure and I had had a relationship like years and years ago when I read

this book and I never got any closure from it and when I read this I was like

oh my gosh this is a piece of my life. Obviously I didn't go to Paris but when I

read this book I remember feeling like it was medicine and this book again is

one that was set in college and it does explore things like family and

depression and pressure that's put on you for school and I just related to so many

aspects of this character. I mean, I know a lot of people have said that they

don't like this book but when I read it it meant everything to me.

I haven't reread it since then. I probably should but I don't want to like

ruin that first impression that I had of it, you know? Like it just meant so much

to me and I just want it to continue meaning that much to me so this is

definitely one of my favorites. Next is Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda

by Becky Albertalli, which is about a young boy who is gay and he is not out

to his friends or his family but he is in an online relationship with

another boy at his school who is also gay and is also not out. So the two of

them don't know their real identities since they aren't out and our main

character Simon really wants a boyfriend. He really wants to find out who his

online crush is. This is another one of those books that is just so happy making.

If you're looking for something that will make you gush and swoon this is

definitely it. There are some heart-wrenching moments that just make

your heart drop like oh I can't believe that just happened, but overall this is just a

swoony story that I love it so so much. I just loved it. I loved it, I loved it.

If you have a recommendation for a contemporary novel that you think I would enjoy let

me know that down below too or just tell me what one of your favorite

contemporary books is. Thank you so much for watching and I will see you in the comments. Bye!
