The biggest club soccer match in the
world is set for June 3rd, yes the
Champions League final is right around
the corner with Real Madrid taking on
Juventus at Millennium Stadium in
Cardiff. Now, Rob Trites and I will have
a video coming soon with our picks on
both the side and the total but today we
wanted to take a look at game props that
might be worth your time. So Rob I'll
get the ball rolling with you. What are
you looking at on that huge huge game
props board wise. First of all it's great to have you
back in this fold. Thanks man.
I really missed you here. Thank you. I
can't wait for the game. Yeah it's
going to be a good one. I really, really
think that it's going to go to penalties
with 6 of the last 16 Champions League
finals and eating dot shots to settle
the winner and with Real needing extra
time in both of their last two
appearances in Europe's biggest club
contest, but I've so far been unable to
find that specific prop because of that
I'll be picking a moneyline draw at a
price of +210 but for you juice
seekers I'll be looking at a Ronaldo to
score two or more goals props that can
be booked in the +550 range. CR7 has
scored two or more in seven of his last
16 games and I am not convinced that
this final is going to be at cagey as you
or other pundits are suggesting. Anything
that involves Ramola and goal scoring is
certainly worth a shout. I'm going with a
little bit of an outsider here I'm
backing Juve Sensation Paulo Dybala
to score between the 21st and 45th
minute of the game at +1600. I
don't think it's necessarily going to be
a scoreless half and while both teams
have a slew of players who can score at
any time CR7 like you mentioned
and so on and so forth I absolutely love
the value
on this prop. Dybala can score from
open play obviously but he's also
extremely lethal from dead ball
situations. He's got four goals in Champs
League thus far and he's got a penchant
to pop up in big games and at big
moments so, purely from a betting
perspective I absolutely love this prop bet.
Is it true that
Dybala is actually Spanish for the
baller? That's it for our look at game
props
stay tuned when Rob and I will be back
with our picks on the side and the total.
Whatever you decide to do with your
prop bets on the Champions League final,
best of luck!

10 Musicians Who Hide Their Identities! (Revealed) - Duration: 11:34.
- Okay, let's start the video.
Born in Adelaide, Australia on December 18th, 1975,
Sia Kate Isobelle Furler,
better known by her stage name, which is simply Sia,
is a pop and acid jazz singer and songwriter.
Singing professionally since 1993,
Sia has released a number of hits,
hitting number one in August of 2016
with her song, "Cheap Thrills".
However, it may be her efforts to disguise herself
that make this Grammy nominated performer so interesting.
Sia hides her face either with a wig or prop,
or simply by facing away from crowds and cameras
in an effort to not be recognizable anymore.
The singer has claimed that she hates fame
and even released an article called
My Anti-Fame Manifesto via Billboard Magazine.
Specifically, she tries to avoid people
critiquing her looks before her art,
though I have to say, if you're going
to wear hair that big to cover your face,
how you look is definitely going to be talked about.
I don't have that problem.
My face is out there.
Whether it's in a commercial, on a TV show,
or at one of their awesome live productions,
when you see the Blue Man Group,
you just know that you're about to see
something interesting, funny, and unique.
The threesome of Chris Wink, Phil Stanton, and Matt Goldman
formed the group in Manhattan, New York in 1988
to say farewell to the 1980s and usher in a new decade
with random stunts and performances between then and 1991.
They only wore blue masks back then,
but today, the Blue Man Group paint
their entire heads a royal shade of blue.
And there's actually way more than three of them now, too,
as the group formed a theatrical company
and now have Blue Men all over the world.
Due to this, every member is told
to don the now famous blue paint,
as well as to never speak when in costume.
This way, no matter which group you're seeing,
you get the same experience
as if you would've seen the originals.
Before forming the hip hop duo the Insane Clown Posse,
friends Joseph "Violent J" Bruce
and Joseph "Shaggy 2 Dope" Utsler
were part of a gang Bruce created
called the Inner City Posse
in Delray, Detroit, Michigan in the late 1980s.
After serving some time in jail,
Bruce and the group moved on from gang life
to become professional wrestlers,
and then ultimately musicians.
Channeling their emotion-filled and negative
life experiences into horror-fueled lyrics,
the group changed their name while still keeping
the gang's initials to prove it wasn't defunct
and Insane Clown Posse was born.
After half their members left the group,
only Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope were left.
The pair still perform today,
with their faces painted to look like evil clowns.
This is due to the dark carnival purgatory theme
that ICP emulates,
as the pair claim that they're being judged
for their previous actions onstage, which is limbo.
If you don't like clowns, you're welcome for that part.
(carnival music)
Founded in September of 1995,
the heavy metal band Slipknot has gone through
a great number of changes over the years,
including the replacing of nearly every member.
Of course, the identity of those members
aren't as important as most other metal bands,
seeing as everyone in the group wears similar outfits
while sporting some pretty intense
and often terrifying masks.
The costumes are all part of the band's goal of creating
engaging and chaotic live experiences for their many fans.
Like a handful of other masked groups,
Slipknot hides their identities not because they're shy,
but because they want their music
and amazing theatrical performances
to speak for themselves without celebrity playing a role,
in addition to the fact that being anonymous
makes it easier for them to perform.
They are truly taking on a role onstage,
so it's easier to leave their problems offstage,
well, offstage.
And I'll tell you, I saw these guys live.
Oh man, it's a good show.
Highly recommend it.
Little terrifying, though.
Born on January 5th, 1981 in Niagara Falls, Ontario,
Joel Thomas Zimmerman, better known by the music industry
and his fans as Deadmau5, seems to have no problem
with people seeing his face and knowing his real name,
unless he's onstage, that is.
The EDM and progressive house music producer
chooses to wear a giant cartoonish mouse head
while performing.
It's been reported that Zimmerman has quite a number
of these different heads in all different shapes and colors,
with many of them lighting up
or even flashing brightly to the beat of his music.
Now, he hates being labeled as a DJ,
so he wears the headpiece to show that he's different.
And you might already know this,
but the name Deadmau5 comes from a very predictable place.
One day, Zimmerman found a dead mouse inside of his computer
and thus named his alter ego after it,
dropping the formal spelling to shorten it
so that it would fit as a chatroom username.
Just another way he stands out.
Lots of bands like to hide their identities
with cool costumes, makeup, or even flashy bangs
that are conveniently long,
but others, like the Gorillaz,
don't show any part of themselves at all.
When this group from Essex, England
came on the music scene back in 1998,
people quickly realized that they were a virtual band
with four cartoon characters standing in
for producers Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett.
The characters Murdoc Niccals, Noodle, Russel Hobbs, and 2-D
are credited as the actual band behind the music,
a move which Hewlett and Albarn
say was a jab at MTV's content,
which they realized didn't have much substance.
To keep with the guise that the music
being released by the Gorillaz
is actually performed by the animated characters,
expensive holographic technology
and screens are used onstage,
with rappers and supporting artists pretending
that they're performing next to life sized cartoons.
So wait a minute, does this mean like, you know,
Jessica Rabbit could be like, a real thing one day?
Ooh, yes, Matt is happy.
On May 13th, 1969, Brian Carroll was born,
and if you believe his crazy backstory,
was confined to a chicken coop
where he was raised by poultry.
Of course, being chickens, they would scratch up poor Brian,
eventually removing most of his face.
But it didn't seem to bother him,
because he kept to himself watching drive in movies
through a gap in the coop's fence
and playing guitar to provide a soundtrack.
Seems like a totally reasonable reason to hide your face.
Later in life, Brian adopted the name Buckethead
mostly due to the fact that he always wore
a face-concealing blank mask and a bucket on his head.
The bucket itself is a KFC container,
which he wears with respect for what his feathered family
and friends go through on their way to people's plates.
With the wide range of styles he takes on,
Buckethead has played with dozens of band over 63 albums,
and all while wearing, you guessed it, the KFC bucket.
Is it the same bucket or does he replace it,
'cause that ish be nasty.
When the American metal band Gwar was created back in 1984,
their purpose was to make the band
that they were opening for, Death Piggy,
look better by having a more barbaric feel
to their performance while wearing grotesque costumes
and shooting fake blood and other oozes into the crowd.
Yeah, see, the thing is though,
the members of Gwar were the members of Death Piggy.
They were literally opening for themselves,
but in super weird costumes.
But soon, the band of concealed musicians
that called themselves the scum of the universe
surpassed their real life alter egos in popularity,
so Death Piggy, well, died, and Gwar became the headliner.
The universe works in mysterious ways.
Every member of the crazy metal band stays in character,
claiming that each come from a different planet
or background but were banished to earth
for crimes that they committed across the universe.
Yeah, let's not take these guys to our leaders.
They're weird.
The four original members of Kiss,
Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Peter Criss, and Ace Frehley
were influenced by bands like Alice Cooper
and the New York Dolls and decided to make
their own shows more theatrical and spectacular,
hoping to add more art to the music.
So, the group donned identity-concealing face makeup
and over the top costumes while leading the trend
of having large epic set pieces onstage.
Unlike some other musicians who hid themselves
because they were shy, Kiss hid their identities
as part of the overall rock experience.
A seemingly comic book based group of characters,
Simmons' Demon is a symbol of his dark humor and cynicism.
Criss' Catman is a representation of the nine lives
he must have had for surviving his upbringing.
Frehley's Spaceman is a manifestation
of his love of science fiction,
and Stanley's Starchild symbolizes
the wonder of being a starry-eyed lover.
Okay, that's all fine,
but how do you explain Gene Simmons' tongue?
He's a lizard man, it's disturbing.
In 1993, shortly after having a bad review by Dave Jennings
in the British music newspaper, Melody Maker,
calling their music a daft punky trash,
Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter
left their band Darlin' and began experimenting
with a more electronic sound.
Amused with the review, the pair named
their new duo group Daft Punk.
These two guys have hit number one on all kinds of charts,
with hits like "Around the World", "Stronger",
and "Get Lucky", just to name a few.
The thing is, it takes some hardcore Googling
to actually see their faces,
as every time these two perform,
they do so in large android looking helmets,
which completely hide their identities.
Dubbed "the robots", Bangalter and de Homem-Christo
claim to hide their identities
due to wanting to avoid the star system,
allowing their fans to focus on their music,
not their celebrity.
Huh, I guess they're human after all.
Thanks for watching this, guys.
Just a reminder that my brand new limited edition tee shirt
is only available for two weeks up until June 5th,
and once they're gone, they're gone forever,
so make sure you get yours now before they sell out
by clicking the little I on your screen now
or the link under this video.
And don't forget, I'll have brand new video
for you tomorrow at three Eastern Standard Time.
Have a great day. I'll see you then.

Why Can't Nidoqueen Breed? The Reasons EXPLAINED! | Gnoggin - Duration: 7:53.
The pokemon world has a number of oddities, Missingno, Alchemy, Cryogonal being able to
learn attract, spoink having to bounce in order to keep its heart beating.
WHY SPOINK WHY!
YOU ARE SO CUTE AND i JUST WANT TO HUGE YOU BUT IF I DO YOU WILL DIIIIIEEE!!
And Nidoqueen is unable to breed.
This is the one were talking about today by the way, in case the title and thumbnail didn't
give it away.
So cant nidoqueen breed?
Well first lets point out why this is so odd.
Out of all the pokemon, the ones that cannot breed make sense, the pokemon that don't have
a sex obviously cannot breed, so they don't.
And other than sexless ones, the pokemon in the undiscovered egg group are also unable
to breed, but if you go through the list of pokemon in the undiscovered egg group, the
theme becomes obvious, legendary pokemon, legendaries, legendariea, legendaries, baby
pokemon, breeding babies is wrong.
Legendaries, holy butts there are a lot of legendaries, more babies, legendaries and
nidoqueen….
Nidoqueen… also nidorina its previous evolution….
And then cosplay pikachu.
Kinda hard to breed while covered in clothes.
The reason its so strange that nidoqueen cannot breed is because the male counterpart, nidoking
still can just fine, just not with nidoqueen.
The way breeding works in pokemon is simple, you have two pokemon of the same egg group,
and put them both in the daycare, and eventually the female one will lay an egg, and the new
baby is the same species the female one was.
For the most part egg groups make sense but there are a few oddities, that's a video for
another time, but the popular joke is that skitty and wailord are able to breed….
A massive blue while and a cat.
Better hope the whale is the female, because whale dongs can be the size of a small car.
So if these can breed, and these can breed and these can breed, why cant nidoking and
nidoqueen breed?
When breeding was introduced in generation 2, it was fine, people assumed it was a mistake,
something they overlooked, or perhaps it was too complicated to implement for this evolution
line with the technology available in the game boy.
Most pokemon are still called the same pokemon despite their sex, while the nido lines are
technically considered different pokemon depending on them being male or female.
But this theory doesn't play out right because then they would have fixed it by now.
Generation 3 introduced illumise and volbeat, two more pokemon that are different pokemon,
but are the male and female counterparts to each other.
And they can breed just fine.
But even today, nidoqueen is unable to breed at all, while nidoking can get schwiffy with
it all around.
It's not like this was intentional right?
Nidoqueens pokedex entry's mention that her main thing is that she gets a lot stronger
while protecting her young.
Much like real rhino mothers, which the nido line is based on.
They get very aggressive when protecting their offspring.
And It's such an easy fix too!
Literally just change the category of egg group nidoqueen is in and problem solved!
So at this point, it HAS to be intentional.
But why?
The common theory is menopause.
But what is menopause?
Menopause is when an older woman, usually around the age 51, stops having menstrual
periods.
From this point onward she cannot become pregnant.
This is due a very complex mixture of hormonal changes, but for the sake of this video just
know, it's when a human female becomes unable to have kids again because she is too old.
Meanwhile old men can still have kids as long as they can get it up.
Much like nidoking.
But does it happen only in humans?
Is it possible for a pokemon to have it?
Well Menopause happens only in 3 species on earth?
Can you guess what they are?
One of them is humans obviously.
But the others may surprise you, have you guessed yet?
It's humans, Killer Whales, and Pilot Whales….
Odd.
So it does happen in some animals, but only marine ones.
So unless the nido line of pokemon are human-like, which they aren't, or are marine animals,
which they aren't, the menopause theory doesn't quite work.
Especially since nidorina, the middle stage, perhaps the young adult or teen equivalent,
also cannot breed.
Early menopause does happen, about 1% of the time, around the late 30s.
But thats too small of a chance to be considered for this theory.
Whats interesting though is while the middle and final stages of this line cannot breed,
even with nidoking.
Its first stage, Nidoran, can….
With nidoking….
Or should I say… pedoking, *police sirens*
Maybe the origins of what the line is based on will have the answer, the nido lineup get
their names from a few different words from Latin languages and Japanese, Pokemon name
etymology is strange, but I have a huge video about it right here, I recommend it for all
pokemon fans.
The Nido part comes from the Japanese word nidoru, or even just nido, meaning twice,
or "two times" which could refer to their evolutionary line being split in two.
Ran or ran from the first form comes from ran and is to run, since they run across fields,
and also possibly ran, meaning orchid in Japanese, as the most common colors for Japanese orchids
are purple and blue, and they have these spots, and are poisonous!
Just like the nidos!
Well poisonous to cats at least.
King and queen is obvious, and Nidorino and nidorina get their ending suffixes
from Latin, meaning masculine and feminine.
But you also get rino, as in rhino, the nido lineup are based loosely on rhinos, having
the hard armor plates and the horns.
In fact wait… wait I think I just answered the question!
Duh!
So you know how I mentioned that nidoqueen's pokedex entries mention them taking care of
their their young?
If it's worthy enough for a pokedex entry than it has to be a major thing.
But pokedex entries are often more about the wild pokemon in their natural habitat, rather
than the captured battling ones.
So perhaps, much like actual rhinos, they breed in the WILD just fine, but in captivity,
they have problems.
Sumatran, black, white, all kinds of rhinoceroses are notoriously difficult to breed in captivity.
Some so much that they are slated for extinction, because they are all dead in the wild, and
the ones in captivity aren't breeding, even artificial insemination does not work with
them very well.
And its specifically because of the way the female rhinoceros's reproductive organs
work, they are shaped irregularly and use a complex concoction of hormones that NEED
to be present for baby making, and these hormones simply don't come out while the rhino is in
captivity.
Meanwhile the male rhinos, they are fine for the most part, its easy enough for them to
get it on.
So is this truly why Gamefreak made nidoqueen unbreedable?
Or was it just a mistake that they left in?
Either way, its a curious case.
One that requires the use… of your Gnoggin.
See you all next time.

Microsoft China Event: Introducing the new Surface Pro - Duration: 45:01.
- The Surface journey has been an incredible journey.
I remember the first time I came to China myself, almost 13 years ago.
Coming to Shanghai, the city was so different than.
I remember it vividly. I remember Shenzhen, vividly.
I don't remember exactly when I took this picture.
But I remember exactly where I was standing.
This should look familiar to you here in Shanghai.
And this is a photo I just took only about 13 years ago.
Now I remember back then when I used to come to China, it was so different.
I remember getting on the van.
I remember driving to the factory.
I remember visiting my team in Shenzhen.
I remember how it felt, how the roads felt, how things took a little bit longer.
Now yesterday, I went out to the same exact spot.
I took my camera, and I took another picture.
It is absolutely incredible to see how much has changed in such a short time.
Isn't it incredible?
It is incredible how much it has advanced,
how much technology and people have grown this city together.
I remember when I would go home and see my son when I would get home from China,
and I'd sit and talk to him after every single trip.
Every year, we would have a conversation.
I would say, this city is growing so fast.
This country is growing so fast, how incredible it was to see.
Yet what I see behind me is actually quite emotional for me.
This is more than just building an infrastructure.
When you look at these two pictures side by side, look at them.
Look how different.
What you are actually looking at is the very embodiment of possibility.
The power of what people and technology build together.
A friend once explained to me,
watching China is more like watching a motion picture
rather than a photograph.
And it's pretty profound when you think about it.
You understand by seeing what has happened over time.
Through different points in time.
There is not a given single moment that could ever do the city justice,
that could ever do the progress justice.
Surface Pro feels much like my visits to China, in this exact same way.
It's been an evolutionary journey.
You can't understand it by looking at just one generation.
You have to look at every iteration, with every product along the whole way.
The journey started when we created Surface to click in and do more.
This was a tablet with a kickstand.
I remember when we launched it.
So many people questioned, is it real?
Can it be?
Do people want this product?
But it was a category that was meant to make you more productive.
It was there to help you do what you wanted and get done what you needed.
And that's what we believed.
And by the time we built Surface Pro 3 there was a conflict among us.
People were carrying two devices in their bag and one device in their pocket.
A laptop, a tablet, a phone.
This was a real challenge.
People were walking into the store and they weren't sure what to purchase.
What do I carry?
What is it that I need?
Pro 3 became that device, that device that started removing complex for millions of people
and still today, millions of people are using the Surface Pro 3,
removing that conflict
and helping them be more productive.
And when you look at each and every single product,
each generation of Surface Pro,
you see meaningful change.
From our hinge design that started from one kickstand angle,
that went to two kickstand angles that went to 150 degrees.
To our screens, moving from a 16 by 9 aspect ratio to a beautiful 3
by 2 pixel sense display with both pen
and touch coming to life in new ways.
To the evolution of the hardware and software coming together to create a magical experience,
like a Surface that knows who you are with Windows Hello.
This is a journey of a team back in Redmond and the team here in China that builds the Surface.
It's actually a journey across all of Microsoft and a journey with our customers
around the world using,
loving and creating amazing things on Surface Pro.
And just as the infrastructure in Shanghai has grown and changed with technology and people,
like in those pictures we just looked at.
So has Surface.
And isn't it ironic that today I stand here and our journeys come together in this room.
Like China, Surface Pro is not a picture.
It's not a moment in time.
It's a journey.
It's a motion picture.
It's a continued evolution.
You have to watch the whole story to understand its beauty.
This moment, today, here in China.
Us together.
This brings us to the next step in that journey.
Right now I would love to introduce you to the new Surface Pro.
[Music playing] This is the new Surface Pro.
I think you like it, which I'm very excited about.
It feels incredible in your hands, but it's that same iconic design.
That same design that you need in a product like this that does so much.
The design you understand that has been built through four generations.
Every single detail on this product has been rethought.
There are over 800 new custom parts that come to light on this product.
Yet we kept that form factor that people love.
This is the form factor that you can take with you, where you can write with the pen.
Where you can type with the clipped-in keyboard, where you can use at your desk.
Where you can use on your lap.
Where you can use it on your couch.
The product is so versatile.
You can put it in and out of your bag, and when it's in your bag,
it feels practically invisible.
This is the lightest Surface Pro we've ever created.
Thank you.
We created this device to feel softer, to be more approachable.
We redesigned the entire bucket, bringing you a softer feel, a softer touch,
a more comfortable product to hold that's more quiet to the eyes
and families beautiful with the Surface laptop.
The perimeter event that's been on this device for generations
has become practically invisible,
fading to the background.
On the front of the product to bring that seamless look,
you can't even see the cameras come through anymore.
Yet the integration with Skype has never been better.
When you want to communicate with your loved ones, this product does that.
There's an array mic that gives you
that perfect clarity when you're speaking.
The screen brings out the beauty of the party across the way, across the ocean.
And that camera connection is real and it's vivid on this 12.3 inch pixel sense display,
where every pixel is color calibrated
and tuned to be brighter,
more vibrant, more crisp, accurate.
Which is so important when you're trying to get work done,
when you're creating.
Now in this product we pushed the boundaries of the display architecture.
We pushed them to an entirely new level never been done before.
We design custom silicon that we embed directly onto the display itself
to further enhance the color,
better than any Surface previous to it.
This makes the colors more vivid.
It makes the picture true.
Like the Surface Studio, the heritage that comes from that screen has made it
all the way to the Surface Pro.
Let's change tunes.
These are my daughters.
This is Anastasia and this is Sofia.
They're absolutely beautiful.
Now I didn't just put pictures of my daughter so you can see my daughters,
although they're super cute.
And actually, this isn't about the screen that they're watching,
although they love the new screen.
It's about the kickstand.
It's about how versatile the product can be.
While my daughters use it to watch movies way too much, people use it in so many different ways.
And the newly designed hinge on this product is absolutely incredible.
There are over 20 custom parts in just that little hinge right there.
Twenty, completely redesigned, to bring you that perfect experience
so when you close it, it sounds so good
and when you open it, it feels so perfect.
But more importantly, more importantly, with the new Surface Pro,
you can pull the hinge even further.
You can pull it down to a 165 degrees
because everything we learned from the Surface
Studio has made it into this product.
We call this mode Studio mode.
So now you can write in a more natural way.
You can draw, you can immerse yourself in every one of those creations.
And when we say the hardware disappears to the back,
it's just you and your pen
and this beautiful screen
to let you write and create.
Now I want to talk about the pen for just a moment.
Writing has always been part of us.
It's part of who we are, especially in China.
It is innate.
It's been used for communication across generations.
And generation over generation, we see usage of the pen on our Surface
increasing at a rapid rate.
More people are writing on screens today than they ever have,
empowering more people to learn to create
and to produce in entirely new ways.
Today I want to introduce you to a brand new Surface pen.
This is the fastest digital pen on the planet.
When you write, it has to feel natural and expressive.
That's how you can draw a great experience out of your mind.
And that custom chip we talked about earlier that sits on the display,
is also used to render ink
directly from the tip of the pen onto the screen.
What it does, is it creates an opportunity as I click my pen you'll see me open a sketching app.
And I'm going to write on the screen now so you can see how fast the pen is.
How important it is that the ink flows seamlessly out the tip where it never falls behind.
It's so important to make this pen more personal, to capture that emotion with writing.
Especially here in China.
Think of the importance of calligraphy.
Since I have been in China this week, I've been so inspired.
Listening to how calligraphy really comes to life.
How it connects people to their culture.
A tradition that's been handed down from generation to generation.
That same principle we talk about.
When you create starting with your mind, and you let it flow through your heart,
and you let it flow out your hand
into a beautiful screen to capture your creation.
This is the pen that starts transcending the boundaries of the PC,
defying what you expect from your computer
to be able to do.
Now behind me you see this beautiful application.
The name is Expressi.
This is an application that brings the tradition of calligraphy
and eastern watercolor directly to your device.
Look how smooth it operates.
Look how fast the ink is.
Look how it can bleed into the canvas.
Look how natural it is.
With this new pen we bring new dimensions of expression.
New dimensions of shading with tilt.
But to really understand what's happening technically, let me give you just a few details.
This pen now delivers 4,096 levels of pressure.
Nine grams of activation force.
Brings the best tilt sensitivity you will find and has under 22 milliseconds of latency,
making it the fastest pin in the industry.
And with a new set of machine-learning algorithms and the embedded chipset,
we can capture every single stroke.
Every single line captured as the artist or the writer had intended to do.
I want to take a minute and talk about Microsoft Office.
Because when you think about the work that's happening across Windows and Office
and Surface all coming together,
you can see our belief
that creativity fuels productivity.
And here on PowerPoint, that intersection of creativity and productivity meet.
They meet in this one simple application that people know so well.
Now here's an image on PowerPoint that I want to share with you.
This is an image not created by me.
It's created by a designer back in Redmond from the PowerPoint team.
It's absolutely gorgeous.
And of course this is an image inspired by Shanghai, as you can see, it's a wonderful theme.
And it captures the atmosphere of the Dragon Boat Festival on the nearby Suzhou River.
The festival happens in about a week from now.
And as I learn more and more about the history, it sounds like such a beautiful event.
Now I want to show you this image and what's happening with Office.
But before I do, let me show you my set up so you what's happening in front of me.
This is the new Surface Pro.
I'm docked to the Surface docking station with the Surface connector.
We have the ports that you need from USBA, USB 3.0, with the display port
which makes it an experience for anything
you want to connect to this device,
to bring it to life.
Now when you look at this image I'm going to hit ink replay here.
I'm going to hit this button and you're going to see the image being recreated
exactly as the artist intended.
So watch as it plays through and you can see the strokes
that happen right here on PowerPoint itself.
And when I grab the Surface dial, I can rewind or forward
so simply to see every stroke that was laid down.
When the details matter, when that power, that pressure,
the ability to use tilt to bring this to life.
And as I scroll through, you see the product itself come to life.
Now the work in PowerPoint has been tremendous to really bring ink to life.
Let me show you what's happening here on the toolbar.
If you look at the top you can see the black and the red, and the yellow highlighter.
Now within Office, there are millions and millions of colors you can choose from.
However, today Office is adding eight new ink effects across its platform
to really bring to life a new way to create.
I'm going to show you a few of them right now.
As I click add pen, I'll hit the pen here and you can see the ink effects down in the corner.
Now what's happening is I'm going to pick gold and you'll see how the gold pen shows up.
Now here's the idea.
Where you're able to pick the pens you want, so when you're working in your system,
when you're working to create,
you have the pens that are most powerful for you.
For me, it's the blue highlighter and I'm going to use the new gold,
because the gold renders so beautiful
on the new pixel sense screen of the Surface Pro.
But the real magic happens over here.
The connection of Office and the cloud and Surface coming together.
I'm going to open Word on the Surface Studio, and you can see this is the Studio
you may have seen before and it's so beautiful
how the page renders here with Microsoft Word on the Studio.
But when I hit the draw tab, look at the top of the screen.
You see that same toolbar that I just created on my Surface Pro?
This is the cloud at work.
This is your settings carrying with you.
This is Office doing amazing work to bring the pen to life.
So if you work on one Surface, on one Windows device,
and you want to move to any application in Office
and pull out your pen to create, your pens carry with you.
Isn't that incredible?
Now there's so much more to being productive when it comes to a device like this.
And it's worth taking a minute to talk about performance.
The staple of Surface Pro 3 was just that.
That performance that started to transform how people worked was all about performance.
For those of you using a Surface Pro 3 today, this is your new Pro.
This Surface Pro is two-and-a-half times faster than that great device ever was.
Which is incredible.
And many people like to compare the Surface Pro to the iPad Pro,
and I understand.
The new Surface Pro is over 1.7 times faster than that of the iPad.
We're giving you a high performance product.
In the quietest core I7 Surface Pro to date.
Now how do we do this?
How do you keep a device so thin?
How do you keep a device so light?
We updated our thermal architecture using a brand new graphite technology.
Allowing us not only to push the I7 to its absolute peak
and give you incredible performance,
but this is an architecture that allows us
to remove the fan altogether
in the core I5,
leaving your new Surface Pro absolutely silent to the ears.
Not only is the product visually quiet, it is now acoustically quiet as well.
This has never ever been done before.
With the core I5U processor.
Now I want to tell you a story, a different story.
A story about a product making.
With Surface and all our hardware devices, we test our products in every way possible.
From drop testing, to temp humidity testing, to cold soaking,
to heat soaking,
to scratch testing,
to vibration, to ESD testing.
But actually, the most important form of testing we do is in a process we call self-hosting.
This is a process where we put the product in people's hands.
Where we use it day in and day out, something automatic tests can't do.
Looking how people use the device.
What they do with it, how they use it.
Now one of the most passionate and critical self hosters,
in our company
is Satya Nadella, our CEO.
Now just a few weeks ago as Satya was using the prototype device
as we were getting ready to ship it here to China
and the rest of the world, Satya sent us a mail.
When you get a mail from Satya, you stop and you pay attention.
And you open it and you check, and you hope it's good.
And you see who's on the top line.
And you can see Surface, Office and Windows leaders.
And then you look at the first line in the mail that he sent.
The new Surface Pro is amazing.
But why?
He went on in his mail to explain what had happened.
And that morning Satya had woke up.
He went to work.
He had went from meeting to meeting.
He traveled from place to place and by the time he got home, and by the time he reopened his computer,
when he put down his new Surface Pro,
he went to type and send us a mail.
And what he found was so amazing that after that full day in the life of a CEO,
he still had battery left
and was unbelievably excited about it.
The Surface Pro gives your 13.5 hours of battery life,
transforming the way
you will use this most versatile device,
keeping you productive all day.
Now our heritage in Surface is rooted in productivity.
And with our new Surface Pro Signature type covers,
you will find productivity in a more personal way.
The beautiful fit and finish of the Surface laptop is coming to the Surface Pro line as well.
That same alcantara fabric, so warm and inviting,
durable allows us
to have a 1.3 millimeter key travel
for faster and more accurate typing.
Which is critical to a product like this.
And the track pad on the product, inspired by the award-winning Surface Book track pad,
don't underestimate how productive you need
to be with a track pad.
How it can enable you to do more.
To edit your documents, to move in and out of what you're trying to do.
That precision is critical.
And this is the best track pad we've ever shipped with the Surface Pro.
Now that you've seen the whole product,
it's important that I share a few experiences with you.
We really want this product to come to life and we want you to feel that.
And the Office team has not stop being relentless,
driving amazing integration across Office,
Surface and Windows, which is critical
when we talk about letting the hardware
and software disappear to the background.
This is vital.
One of my favorite applications is Excel.
Another is OneNote.
To show you how these devices truly come to life with both these applications,
I'd like to invite Ray Lee from the service team
out here to give you a quick demo.
Ray.
- Hi. Thank you so much.
- Sure. - Thank you so much, Panos.
Many of you may know Excel as a data analysis tool.
Over 7 billion cells are added in Excel every single day.
That's more than the daily number of searches made in Baidu or Google.
That's the power of Excel.
But I want to show you how, with the cloud and the new Surface Pro,
Excel can be so much more than that.
Now earlier, we heard Panos talk about how the growth of China has inspired us at Surface.
Let's take a look at that growth.
Over here I've pulled over a 108 million rows of data
from eight different sources.
If I hit the managed data model button, I can explore relationships
between all my data and make it my own.
But most importantly, I can build intelligent visualizations of my data
in the new Maps tool powered by the cloud.
Now, with the 3 by 2 aspect ratio that gives me way more screen space,
I can see all of my charts and insights at a glance.
I can instantly see that in Asia, China is the most visited country by airport traffic.
I can also see how the number of airport visitors to Asia has grown by selecting the growth filter.
And in the blink of an eye, Excel just made 750 million computations.
That's the power of the new Surface Pro and Office working together.
The blue trend line on the far right shows me instantly how airport traffic
has exploded over 1,000 percent in China.
Just like that picture of the Shanghai skyline.
Microsoft Excel empowers me to not just crunch numbers and data,
but discover a fantastic story of China's growth
that has inspired so many.
Now let's take a look at how Surface and OneNote are bringing numbers to life.
Surface has made it so that writing on a digital device
is as natural as writing with pen on paper.
Now since you're writing on a digital screen, why not be more intelligent about your ink?
In OneNote, we can learn and work with advanced math equations
like this function that I've written here
with my new Surface pen in the beautiful galaxy ink.
By simply circling it, and selecting the ink math assistant,
I can ask OneNote to recognize my handwriting
and convert it into text.
Now I'm a visual learner, so having a graph helps me understand
what this function looks like.
I change the values of the variables intuitively, so that I can see how they affect my graph.
This graph used to take me so many steps before.
I would have to start with a pencil and paper, and then I would have to translate it
into a graphing calculator
which is in different notation.
This was very complicated to learn and difficult to use.
But now OneNote streamlines everything into one place.
I can do everything right here.
Whether to work, learn, create or even collaborate, Office and OneNote and Surface give me the tools
I need to take my productivity to the next level.
Thank you.
- Your demos are always so inspiring.
Thank you for sharing with us.
Now today we talked about Surface Studio.
We talked about the Surface laptop, and we talked about the new Surface Pro.
Now I want to show you how all these devices start to come together.
I want to show you how the displays, the pen, the power of Windows and the power of Office
and the power of the cloud come together
in a whole new way.
We're going to show you a new experience that you've never seen before.
Something that's meaningful, that will change the way people
collaborate and interact with each other.
But to do this, I want to welcome one of my good friends,
and the leader of the Surface hub
and accessories team, Ms Robin Seiler.
Robin.
- Thank you, Panos.
- You're very welcome.
Enjoy.
- Good evening.
The devices that we've seen today are simply amazing.
But let me start with a little bit about myself.
I've worked on the Surface team for a long time, since the beginning.
And you know, one of the things that make Surface so special is how we work.
We start with an idea.
Or actually, we start with many ideas,
and then we combine design with technology
and materials with manufacturing.
We iterate.
We push, we inspire each other.
Panos talks about how products are a reflection of the people who make them.
Well, we make them as a team.
Now when you're working as a team, and you want to create, you're in a room
and you go to a white board and you write.
But when you have a passionate team that wants to create,
many times there isn't enough space
at that white board,
or there aren't enough pens for you to use.
And sometimes, we can't all get into the same room or around the same whiteboard.
Many teams are dispersed.
Many companies are global.
And when teams are located around the world, there is often no easy way to collaborate with a pen.
I'm in Shanghai today.
My team is in Redmond, in Dublin, in Shenzhen, and in Portland, but we still need to get work done.
We launched Surface Hub and we learned something very important.
We introduced a white board that allows people to work side by side,
that inspired what you're about to see.
A cloud-connected canvas that doesn't run out of space.
A canvas that isn't bound by the location that you're in.
With intelligent ink, that can be created by anyone with a pen.
I'd like to bring out Aran Magito, the leader of the OneNote team,
creators of the new whiteboard.
Our teams every day work side by side, to fully integrate both software and hardware.
He is a friend and an inspiration.
Aran.
- Thank you, Robin.
Good evening.
It's an honor to be here in Shanghai with you and I'm excited to have the opportunity to share
with you our new whiteboard product.
Let me show you what it looks like on the Surface Studio.
The first thing you'll see as I bring up our whiteboard
is it's a fully immersive experience.
It takes over the entire screen.
My Surface has become my canvas.
It's an immersive experience and it's an experience that is designed for pen and for touch.
Truly natural user interface.
And while it might look simple at first, it's actually quite intelligent.
Let me show you how.
I will start by drawing a triangle.
And you might have noticed that the triangle was recognized as a shape.
The intelligent cloud and AI recognized my triangle, and turned it from an ink drawing
to a concept that I can now tap
and see the angles on.
I am moving from the pen to touch seamlessly.
The angles update for me.
And I can move from touch back to pen, and if I want a 90-degree angle
just draw it right there.
Let's take it a step further.
What if I draw a rectangle?
As you would expect, it's recognized as a shape.
But what if I add a line and another one?
The whiteboard, understanding my intent, and creating a table, not just the shape.
The power of AI in the cloud, understanding what I'm trying to do as a user.
And I can start writing inside of this table.
My ink will be recognized.
I can choose to sort the data in the table, or quite simply highlight a column, just like that.
I have moved from big strokes and a freeform drawing to a structured table,
making me way more productive.
- That's very powerful.
Now let's see what we can do with that same smart whiteboard back in that team environment.
I'd like to introduce you to Ralph Graham.
Some of you may be familiar with that name.
He's one of the most creative people I know,
and he is the lead designer of the Surface portfolio.
He's going to use the new Surface Pro in Studio mode with the amazing new Surface Pen.
Now as you see him draw, you will see him drawing real time,
and you'll see how fluid that is.
But you can see, Aran, as he moves the screen.
You're actually watching Aran's whiteboard.
Ralph is drawing in real time on Aran's whiteboard.
Now Aran can also start drawing on the same canvas.
So you see Ralph in black and Aran in blue.
And now I can go to the Surface laptop and I can also draw.
Now I am no artist, so I will just do a couple of lines.
We're working on three different devices and you see it rendering real time.
Now we're in the same room but we could just as easily be
in three different cities
or in three different countries.
That's pretty cool.
You may have also noticed the presence indicators.
When you're creating, it is important to understand
who is contributing to each idea.
Every person has a role.
The indicators move with each stroke, so that you can understand
exactly what each person is writing.
This is so critical in the creative process.
I see Ralph is drawing our portfolio, and Aran is connecting it with the cloud.
I think it's probably time to add a Surface Hub.
- Let me explain what you're seeing.
As Robin draws the hub, you'll see it show up immediately on my screen, ad on Ralph's.
How are we doing that?
We are capturing the wet ink strokes directly from the pen and the digitizer,
leveraging the latency improvements that Panos
talked about with the new pen,
to capture them across all our devices
and then apply them to the canvas on each one of these computers,
as if we were drawing them in the same room,
on the same piece of paper.
That gives us instantaneous and real time ink, bringing us much closer together.
- That's truly the magic of software and hardware coming together.
And when you combine the new whiteboard with voice, you have real-time interaction
with both sound and sight.
The new whiteboard will be available on Surface this fall.
You can seamlessly build with intelligence from the cloud and the ideas from your mind.
We hope you like what you saw.
We are so excited to bring this new whiteboard to Surface.
Thank you.
- That was incredible.
It really does show the work across Microsoft.
Creating magic.
Magical experiences to help people collaborate together from anywhere.
And when I say anywhere, it rings true on this product more than any.
We know how many customers want more connectivity.
Today I'm excited to announce that the new Surface Pro will launch with LTE
later this year here in China
and around the entire world.
No one has ever delivered this much performance and battery life
in a laptop this thin and light.
This is the laptop design without any limits in mind.
Whether you want to sketch your storyboard in the park or code
your next hit app in a cafe down the road.
Or compose your next masterpiece while you're on the train.
Or maybe you type your next novel while sitting on the couch.
Or if you're like me, maybe you edit this pitch right before you take off on the plane.
With the new Surface Pro, you can create without any limits.
Where the product disappears.
Moves with you.
Flows through your life with all the performance and battery life that you need.
With a pen that's a magical experience.
With a keyboard that brings a perfect typing experience to the table.
You can preorder your Surface Pro today, right now, here.
With availability on June 15th.
And on that same day, we will launch in 26 more markets around the world.
Surface Pro starts at $799 USD and 5,888 RMB.
We wanted to give our customers the choice that they deserve.
I cannot be more excited about this lineup.
You can pick from a Studio to immerse yourself in your creations.
But now you can walk into the store and pick the most powerful laptop in the Surface Book,
or the most personal and luxurious
laptop with a Surface laptop.
Or now, the most versatile laptop with the new Surface Pro.
We can't wait to see what you will create.
I can't wait to see which product you will choose.
Thank you for having us in Shanghai.
Thank you so much for welcoming us in China.
Terry and I are both so grateful.
And from myself and the entire team,
xie xie.

Who's Tracking Foreign Cash Spent At Trump-Owned Hotels? | MSNBC - Duration: 3:50.
>>> THE NEW QUESTIONS FOR THE PRESIDENT TO ANSWER TODAY.
MSNBC HAS A NEW REPORT RELATED TO PRESIDENT TRUMP'S BUSINESS
DEALINGS WITH FOREIGN GOVERNMENTS.
YOU MAY RECALL JUST DAYS BEFORE TAKING OFFICE, THE PRESIDENT DID
PROMISE TO DONATE ALL PROFITS HE EARNED FROM FOREIGN GOVERNMENTS
BACK TO THE UNITED STATES TREASURY.
THAT WAY HE WOULD AVOID POTENTIAL CONFLICT.
BUT MSNBC HAS LEARNED THE TRUMP ORGANIZATION IS NOT IN FACT
TRACKING ALL POSSIBLE PAYMENTS. MSNBC CHIEF LEGAL CORRESPONDENT
ARI MELBOURNE JOINS ME WITH MORE.
YOU'VE BEEN TRACKING THIS AND TRYING TO DIG IN.
THEY'RE NOT KEEPING TRACK OF WHO'S PAYING WHAT AT THE HOTELS?
>> THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO TRACK THE MONEY AND DONATE IT
BACK TO THE TREASURY. THAT'S IMPORTANT, BECAUSE
FOREIGN GOVERNMENTS CAN SPEND MONEY IN ALL SORTS OF WAYS TO
INFLUENCE THE PRESIDENT. THE CONSTITUTION SAYS YOU CAN'T
TAKE FORM GIFTS AS A PRESIDENT BECAUSE IT COULD INFLUENCE YOU
AND THAT COULD BE A BIG PROBLEM. THAT'S WHAT IS CALLED THE
EMOLUMENTS CLAUSE. THERE'S A OPEN CASE ON THIS IN
NEW YORK. SO WHAT WE HAVE DONE IN MY LEGAL
UNIT HERE AT MSNBC IS DIG INTO THIS.
HOW WOULD THIS WORK AND WHAT'S GOING ON?
WE FOUND A LOT. THE BIG HEADLINE HERE IS WE HAVE
OBTAINED THE INTERNAL TRUMP POLICY FOR HOW THEY'RE DOING
THIS PUT UP ON THE SCREEN.
>> SO THEY'RE PUTTING THE ONUS ON THE FOREIGNERS TO IDENTIFY
THEMSELVES. >> EXACTLY.
THAT IS IN SPIRIT, AND I THINK IN LETTER A REAL DEPARTURE OR
VIOLATION OF THE PLEDGE DONALD TRUMP MADE IN JANUARY AFTER HE
WAS ELECTED SAYING WE'RE GOING TO TRACK ALL THIS AND GIVE THE
MONEY BACK. THEY'RE NOW SAYING BASICALLY,
WE'RE JUST GOING TO TRUST THE FOREIGN GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS WHO
POTENTIALLY COULD BE TRYING TO INFLUENCE OR BRIBE THE U.S.
GOVERNMENT TO SELF-REPORT THEMSELVES.
I WANT TO GIVE YOU ONE MORE REACTION.
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF CREW, WHICH IS SUING THEM, GAVE US
THIS RESPONSE --
>> PLAYING DEVIL'S ADVOCATE HERE, CAN THE TRUMP
ADMINISTRATION OR TRUMP ORGANIZATION ARGUE HEY, LISTEN,
IF WE DON'T KNOW THEY'RE A FOREIGN NATIONAL, THEY CAN'T
INFLUENCE US. >> THEY COULD ARGUE THAT.
IF YOU THINK THE TRACKING SYSTEM IS THE END OF THE STORY.
THE QUESTION, AND THIS WILL ULTIMATELY BE RESOLVED BY THE
COURTS BECAUSE WE DON'T HAVE A RULING ON THIS BECAUSE NO
PRESIDENT HAS EVER TRIED TO RUN THIS LARGE A BUSINESS, IS
WHETHER THE MONEY ITSELF CONSTITUTES AN ILLEGAL GIFT.
IF IT DOES, THEY'RE GOING TO BE ORDERED TO TRACK AND GIVE OVER
ALL THIS. THE TRUMP ORGANIZATION HAS TAKEN
THE LEGAL POSITION THAT THEY WERE DOING THIS VOLUNTARILY,
THAT NO COURT HAS EVER SAID IT WAS A GIFT --
>> THEY SAY HOTEL ROOMS DON'T AMOUNT TO THAT.
>> THAT'S THEIR VIEW. BUT WHAT'S NEW HERE AND WHAT'S
DIFFERENT, AND WHAT IS IMPORTANT IS THAT THEY WENT FROM SAYING
WE'RE GOING TO TRACK IT TO FORK IT OF TO WE'RE GOING TO TRACK
ABOUT IT BUT NOT ASK ABOUT IT. >> AND THIS APPLIES TO ALL OF
TRUMP'S VERY MANY PROPERTIES. >> AND WE SPOKE TO CONGRESSMAN
CUMMINGS. HIS RESPONSE WAS, IF THEY'RE NOT
GOING TO TRACK IT, THINK WHAT ELSE IS GOING ON.

How To: Pick The Perfect Avocado - Duration: 2:45.
How to Pick The Best Avocados.
Avocados are delicious fruits which are becoming more popular nowadays because of their wonderful
health benefits.
There are a few tricks that you can use to pick out a perfectly ripe avocado, with the
best quality flesh inside.
1.
Check the avocado base to see if there is a stem.
This often looks like a small brown plug.
If there isn't a stem, do not buy it as this can become rotten very quickly.
2.
Choose the largest avocados you can find.
The bigger they are, the healthier their growing cycle was.
These are likely to be tastier and more nutritious.
3.
Look for rounder avocados rather than long shaped ones.
These contain more flesh inside, giving you better value for money.
4.
Check for ripeness.
Gently squeeze the avocado with the palm of your hand and be very careful to not bruise
the fruit.
An under ripe avocado will be very hard, and an over ripe one will feel extremely soft.
Finding the perfect balance can be done with practise.
Do not use the fingertips.
5.
Check the skin for shininess.
A duller avocado skin indicates that the fruit is better quality.
6.
Look at the avocados in the store and see how some are lighter shades of green than
others.
The darker avocados are riper.
If you do chose to buy light green avocados, you can ripen these up at home in a few days.
Be sure to use these tips when choosing your healthy avocados.
If you would like to ripen your avocados at home, simply place them in a brown bag with
a banana.
The gas from the banana will cause the fruit to ripen more quickly within a day or two.
When your avocado is at the perfect level of ripeness you can place them in the refrigerator
to keep them fresh for a little longer.
Did you now that these fruits have more potassium than bananas, and contain healthy fats which
can help to protect your heart from bad cholesterol.
You can also eat the avocado seed and leaves for more health benefits.
Please see our other videos to learn more.
Thank you very much for listening, a like is always appreciated and remember to subscribe
for more healthy videos.
I wish you great health, wealth and happiness.

Microsoft China Event: Windows 10 China Government Edition - Duration: 8:34.
- Ni hao, hello.
Thanks so much for being here today at our Microsoft event in Shanghai.
It is such an honor and privilege to be here in China,
the center place of so many
of the world's life-changing inventions.
Inventions that empower each of us to be more creative
and productive everywhere all around the world.
I'm inspired to think that this is where the abacus was invented, the first calculator.
Where the first compass was invented helping us find our way.
Where paper and movable type have provided an easier way for us all to communicate
and share our creativity.
At Microsoft, we are on a mission to empower every person
and every organization on the planet to achieve more.
I'm Terry Myerson, and I lead the Windows and Devices team at Microsoft
and I'm honored to be here today
to celebrate creativity and innovation.
The Windows Eco-system is thriving around the world thanks
to so many contributions from right here in China.
Silicon engineers, system's engineers, software developers,
and so many amazing technology partners.
Everyday, our Chinese partners in Lenovo, Xiaomi,
and Huawei are building new devices and experiences
that light up Windows 10 for customers
all over the world.
In fact, right now, my friend, Richard Yu of Huawei
is in Germany launching the newest devices
in the Windows 10 family.
I wish him and Huawei good luck and good fortune with their launch.
Today, together, we're inspiring a generation of creators to do more, create more,
and be more productive, and have more fun.
Now for more than two decades, Microsoft has had the distinct honor to do work here
in China learning
and advancing technology together.
This reminds me of a saying that, "The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago
and the second best time is today."
I am so grateful that we planted
our first trees 22 years ago here in China
and I'm honored to share our plans
to do so again today.
And this all starts with our work with the government of China.
For the last two years, we have earnestly cooperating
with the Chinese government
on the security review of Windows 10.
We are pleased with the transparency and the objectiveness of their review
and we agree with the outcome of the review
and I'm very pleased to share
that we have now developed a version of Windows
10 specifically for the Chinese government.
[Applause]
This monumental moment has only been possible
through our partnership with the government
and our joint venture with CETC.
The Chinese government has the highest standards for security and trusts,
the tools they choose to use
for productivity and creativity
must meet the highest levels of quality.
And this is why I'm in China today to celebrate our journey and progress together.
Please welcome Miss Beth Xu, CEO of CMIT, the joint venture
between CETC and Microsoft
to share more about our partnership.
[Applause] - Thank you, Terry.
- Hi, Beth.
Thank you for joining me.
Now would you mind sharing with everybody here more about our work together.
- Absolutely.
Do you mind if I speak in Chinese?
- Oh, please do.
- [Foreign]
I share the information
about our joint adventure between CETC and Microsoft
and also shared our worked together
to develop, advance, secure,
and localize Windows 10 China Government
Edition for Chinese government customers.
- That's great, Beth.
Can you share with everyone here, what's coming next?
- Absolutely.
- [Foreign]
Terry, I share updates of our pilots.
We are now working with customers at three levels of the government.
At the National level with China custom, at the Regional level wtih EITC,
Economic and Information Technology
Committee of Huahei government.
And at the State Enterprise level with Weston.
I'm also excited to announce that our partner, Lenovo is going to be one of the first
OEM's to present Windows
10 Chinese Government Edition.

Scott Disick Burglary: Inside Job? | TMZ Live - Duration: 4:35.
HARVEY: SCOTT DISICK HIT OVER
THE WEEKEND AND IT IS
INTERESTING.
HE HAS A HOUSE IN HIDDEN HILLS
ALONG WITH THE KARDASHIAN BROOD
AND IT IS A BEAUTIFUL HOUSE BY
THE WAY, 9,000 SQUARE FEET.
A SECURITY GATE IN THE FRONT OF
THE COMPLEX SO YOU WOULD THINK
IT IS SECURE.
AT 1:00 A.M. YESTERDAY A BURGLAR
OR BURGLARS GOT INSIDE THE
COMPLEX AND THEY ENDED UP
BREAKING HIS BACK WINDOW,
ENTERING THE HOUSE, PULLING
DRAWERS OPEN.
WE STOOL -- STILL DON'T KNOW
WHAT WAS TAKEN.
IT LOOKS LIKE THIS IS SOME SORT
OF AN INSIDE JOB FROM PEOPLE WHO
KNEW HE WAS NOT AROUND.
>> I HAVE BEEN TOLD BY SOURCES
THAT THE GUYS THAT BROKE IN
STARTED MOVING CAMERAS TO NOT BE
SEEN AND IDENTIFIED.
THEY WERE FAMILIAR WITH THAT.
VERY INTERESTING.
CHARLES: THE PART THAT DOESN'T
REQUIRE AN INSIDE JOB ANYBODY
WOULD KNOW WHERE HE IS THIS
WEEKEND BECAUSE HE PROMOTED IT
IN LAS VEGAS CELEBRATING HIS
BIRTHDAY, HAD A CLUB GIG.
AS YOU CAN SEE, IT WAS GOING
WELL.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SCOTT.
ABOUT THE TIME THAT HE WAS DOING
THIS AND BLOWING OUT CANDLES
HIMSELF, IS WHEN THE BURGLARY
WAS GOING ON.
HARVEY: THAT WAS SHOT AROUND
MIDNIGHT AND BEFORE 1:00 A.M. IS
WHEN THE BURGLARS CAME.
WHAT IS INTERESTING IS WE FOUND
OUT THE ALARM
APPARENTLY WENT OFF BECAUSE THE
COPS GOT THERE SHORTLY
THEREAFTER.
BUT NONE OF THE NEIGHBORS HEARD
A BURGLAR ALARM.
WHAT WE ARE TOLD BY LAW
ENFORCEMENT IT IS A VERY UPPITY
COMMUNITY AND NOBODY WANTS TO BE
AWAKENED BY A BURGLAR ALARM SO
THEY ARE SILENT.
IT TRIGGERED THAT.
SCOTT, AS YOU SAW, WAS IN VEGAS.
WHAT STATE WAS HE IN?
HE WAS IN NEVADA BUT WHAT STATE
WAS HE IN?
CHARLES: MAYBE THIS VIDEO WILL
GIVE US A HINT.
HE RETURNED HOME SUNDAY MORNING
AND AT THIS POINT WE ARE ABOUT
TO SEE SCOTT BACK HOME.
HARVEY: THIS IS LIKE SUN HOURS
AFTER THE BURGLARY.
CHARLES: WITH FRIENDS AND
CLEARLY NOTIFIED AT THIS POINT.
HERE IS HIS REACTION.
>> I'M JUST SAYING WHEN YOU KNOW
IT IS DOUBLE OVERHEAD YOU HAVE
TO GO TO SLEEP EARLY, BRO' AND
YOU KNOW IT AND SO DOES
EVERYBODY ELSE IN THE WORLD AND
INDUSTRY, BRO'.
CHARLES: I DON'T KNOW WHAT ANY
OF THAT MEANT.
HARVEY: NOR DID HE?
I. SCOTT PROBABLY DOESN'T EITHER
BUT HE IS IN THE BACK YARD
CHILLING.
HARVEY: MICHAEL B. JORDAN ALSO
WAS HIT A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO.
SAME THING.
LIVES IN THE SAN FERNANDO
VALLEY.
WE ARE TALKING ABOUT KENDALL
JENNER, EMMY ROSS, NICKI MINAJ
ASAP BARACKY.
ALL THOSE AND MORE.
CHARLES: AT SOME POINT DO YOU
FEEL BADLY IF YOU ARE NOT ON THE
LIST?
WHY NOT HITTING MY HOUSE?
I HAVE STUFF.
>> THIS IS A REPEAT FOR SCOTT.
THIS TIME LAST YEAR HE GOT HIT
FOR WATCHES.
HARVEY: WHAT WE ARE TOLD ABOUT
THE WATCHES SOMEBODY GOT IN AND
SCOTT PROBABLY KNOWS WHO THE
CULPRIT IS BUT WOULD NOT TELL
POLICE WHICH IS INTERESTING.
>> HE DIDN'T WANT TO RAT IT OUT.
WHOEVER HE THOUGHT TOOK IT.
CHARLES: AT SOME POINT DON'T YOU
NEED TO RAT PEOPLE.
>> THIS IS SHANT, EVERYONE, FROM
L.A.
I FEEL LIKE IT IS SAD ANDEN
FORTUNATE THAT SO MANY
CELEBRITIES ARE BEING TARGETED
AND VIOLATED IN THIS MANNER.
I BLAME SOCIAL MEDIA.
I THINK SO MANY CELEBRITIES PUT
SO MUCH OF THEIR LIVES AND WE
KNOW WHERE THEY ARE GOING TO BE.
HARVEY: AND WHAT THEY OWN.
>> EXACTLY.
HARVEY: THIS IS AN EPIDEMIC IN
L.A.
THERE HAVE BEEN A RASH OF
BURGLARIES NOT JUST CELEBRITIES
BUT AT A POINT YOU HAVE TO

Let's Talk About Ricky Berwick - Duration: 4:24.
Today, let's talk about Ricky Berwick.
Hello and welcome back to CapOhTV, the channel where we know school is a joke and you don't
want to be the punchline and if this is your first time here and you also think school
is a joke, hit that subscribe button now so you don't miss anything in the future.
This is Ricky Berwick.
About a month ago, a small group of students recommended that I watch some Ricky Berwick
videos.
The name sounds interesting enough, but then I saw what this dude looks like.
And this video is not going to be about trash-talking him.
No, this video is about saying how amazing Ricky Berwick really is.
When I started watching, he had about 80,000 subscribers.
….what the f----!
He gained 10,000 subscribers in a day!
As of right now, he has one 157,550 subscribers.
When I looked at this yesterday, WHEN I LOOKED AT THIS YESTERDAY!
He only had 146,00.
This is what I'm talking about.
This is why I want to talk about Ricky Berwick right now.
It is amazing to me what is happening to his channel.
He has... he...
I bet you by the time I'm done recording this, his channel will have doubled in size since
I started watching him a month ago.
Let's talk about the elephant in the room.
Yes, he has some serious physical disadvantages.
But he's on YouTube making content.
And he has help, I don't know who his friend is, I didn't do too much research into this.
But let's just look at the surface.
He is making content, two or three videos a day, two or three short videos a day.
Sometimes they get up to three minutes, like that grocery store one.
You better go watch that because that was funny as s---.
But he is doing it.
He is doing the work to grow that channel and like I said, he's using his disadvantage
to his advantage.
He is entertaining thousands and thousands of people, not only on YouTube but on Instagram.
Almost every video that he has on YouTube, he also uploads to Instagram since they're
usually short, they're less than a minute long.
He increases his exposure by widening the audience.
And the content he makes is very shareable, it is memorable, and it is, frankly, it's
funny as f----.
And sometimes I wonder, would he be having the same success if he didn't have his physical
disability?
My intuition says that he wouldn't but that doesn't matter because he does have that problem.
And despite his issues, he is making the best of it.
And he is growing an audience that in the future could be very valuable to him.
What's even more interesting to me is that he has no playlists on his channel, he doesn't
really do a title, description, tag SEO, search engine optimization and all that.
Yet his channel is blowing up!
And not a single one of his videos is over 10 minutes long!
But he's doing something right.
He has found an audience and he is making videos that play well to that audience.
He's making videos that people can easily share, tag people and say, "Hey, look at
this guy, isn't he weird."
And I don't know his full backstory, his history up to this point in time, but he seems like
a pretty fun-loving guy, he seems pretty carefree, I don't know what it was like for him growing
up, but now he's just out there doing the things that he does, doing what he wants,
living his life.
And he's sharing that with people by setting up a camera and throwing it up on YouTube
and Instagram.
IF you're trying to start something, whether it be a YouTube channel, an Instagram following,
what-have-you, and you look at Ricky Berwick and see that he's doing it despite his disadvantages
and despite not following the best practices that so many people advocate, then what excuse
do you have for not doing anything?
Ricky Berwick: an inspiration to us all.
Are you also a Ricky Berwick fan?
Does he inspire you to do great things?
Leave a comment down below, let's talk about that.
And if this was your first time here to CapOhTV and you also think school is a joke, hit that
subscriber button now.
Thanks for watching, see you later, bye!

SPLASH AND BUBBLES | Magnetic Reception | PBS KIDS - Duration: 2:16.
This is it. Right up there is where I was born.
- Wow. What a cool place. Watch this.
Whoo! [laughter]
- Oh, I bet it'd be fun to live here!
- [laughs] Hey, let's go play!
- Okay! [laughs]
- Did you hear what Splash said?
- Don't say it.
- He said it would be fun to live here.
- Instead of Reeftown?
- I told you not to say it!
- [laughs] You guys have to see this place.
It is amazing!
- Scoot, how in the world did you remember
how to get back here?
- It's called instinct. - Oh.
all: Flo!
- Hi, kids.
Instinct is a feeling
you get inside that tells you what to do,
even when no one taught you how to do it.
- Flo, I can't believe we found you.
Um, this is Scoot.
- Well, hello, young turtle.
- Hi.
- This is the beach where Scoot was born.
- It also happens to be the beach where I was born.
[laughs]
And I just finished laying my eggs
on the beach above the surface.
- See, I told you it was possible.
- But how did you and Scoot know how to find this place?
- Oh, very simple.
Magnetic receptors in our brains.
- Magnetic receptors? - Mm-hmm.
- They are a special sense of direction
that keep turtles like me and, uh, Scoot...
[chuckles] on track through the ocean.
They pick up a magnetic field
at the exact beach where we came from.
- That's amazing!
- So how long until your eggs hatch?
- Oh, a few weeks.
Then those little newborn sea turtles will hatch
on the beach and run their little flippers off
before joining the citizens of the sea.
- And they'll use their magnetic receptors and instincts
to go where they need to go, too?
- Yep! They'll be swimming the currents in no time.
- Just like me. - [laughs]

Because I have a busy life, I work full time
I coach football and I married, so
One of the difficulties was trying to balance that time between school,
work and family and trying to find a fair balance
for both of them.
So the assessment piece for the first year students really starts
when they get to orientation.
We look at their social academic and engagement levels
and we use this thing called stoplight, so we'll give them a green light
if we think they're good to go, a yellow light
if we're a little cautious and want to keep checking up on them.
And a red light if we're like, oh no, this is an immediate follow-up
and we definitely need to look into it.
As student affairs professionals, we could guess all day long of
well typically I think I see these students not doing well, but it's like
but if you're not having information and data to back that up
then, how do you actually know how to best use your resources.
When I came to college, I said I am going to pay for college myself
I felt like it was my obligation and my duty
to help my family out. One of the barriers that I ended up finding
was actually not actually not tuition and wasn't necessarily course fees.
But it had to do a lot with textbook affordability.
I think that Ohio State is at the forefront of open-source textbooks
and the idea that if we can actually make textbooks affordable
for students, they can learn better.
First three years of high school
the opportunities for college credit were sort of scarce.
College Credit Plus, it helped me
to just get a head start on achieving my goals for the future.
Some common challenges that I face
Academically, coming to Columbus was hard because
it was a big transition and I chose a major that
required significantly more accommodation than just
English literature or history.
When something is already accessible for me, I feel so relieved.
Technology has paved my way through college
and also through my professional life.
Without technology, I wouldn't really have the opportunities that I have now.

Easy Crochet Tutorial for Beginners! Quickly Learn the Treble/Triple Crochet Stitch! - Duration: 10:01.
hey crafters welcome back for another
video here with Amanda at crafters
autonomous so today we're going to be
learning another stitch I've shown you a
couple different stitches and this one
today is really fun and what's cool
about this one is if you apply the same
concept you can make stitches that are
crazy tall
I've actually got a couple pins on my
Pinterest board if you look up craft is
autonomous on Pinterest you should be
able to find my board and I've got a
couple different infographics and things
that I've pinned there from other sites
and there's one that shows you know you
start with like a single crochet and a
half double crochet then the double
crochet and the following stitch is what
we're going to learn today which is the
treble crochet and it's cool because you
can apply the same idea and make the
stitches taller and taller and taller
which there's not a ton of application
for taller stitches but I'm sure that if
you put your mind to it you can think of
a cool way to use it
I would like to experiment with stitches
so today I'm going to be using the
sugars and cream yarn the color is
tangerine and it calls for an H hook so
that's what I'm using so we're going to
try this today and see if it shows up on
the camera but also if you have been
following along in my videos and you've
been learning you know I recommend that
you start with red heart yarn with a
larger hook size but hopefully if at the
point now where you're able to learn new
stitches like what I'm going to teach
today I think you should be able to
handle this yarn it's a cotton yarn and
you don't have to worry too much about
splitting the yarn which is when the
hook like breaks between the lines back
and explain that in a little bit so
let's learn how to treble crochet before
I start my row of treble crochet I've
got a row here of half double crochet
that I'm going to work in and if you
don't know how to do the half double
crochet stitch you can click my video
click the link to watch my video that
explains how to do that but let's get
started with the treble crochet so so
far we know that when we make the
turning chain for the single crochet we
need one chain we need to we need two
chains for the half double crochet 3
chains for the double crochet and we're
going to need 4 chains for the treble
crochet
so one two three four and turn our work
in this time we're also going to work
where it's square so we're going to want
this four count as our first stitch so
instead of working in here we're going
to come in here now this stitch is very
similar to the double crochet except
we're going to yarn over not just once
but twice so before you even put the
hook into the fabric you're going to
have the loop that's on here and you're
going to have two yarn overs so don't
get confused with a double crochet
because that just calls for one but we
want to do two yarn overs so then insert
the hook where you want to work and
here's how you're going to impossible
see the pattern start you're going to
yarn over pull through one yarn over
pull through two yarn over pull through
two yarn over pull through two so the
basic idea is once you pull yarn over
and pull it through just one time to
pull it through the fabric itself you're
going to pull it through two loops at a
time until you get just one loop on the
hook so let's do the stitch again yarn
over twice before inserting the hook
then insert the hook yarn over and pull
through one so from this point forward
we're going to pull through two time we
yarn over to get until we get just one
loop left on the hook so pull through
two yarn over pull through two yarn over
pull through two so at first glance you
can already tell these are pretty tall
stitches if you look at the row of half
double crochet that's below you can see
that a foot and half being kind of seen
that it's much taller than the previous
row yarn over to insert hook pull
through one yarn over pull through two
yarn over pull through two yarn over
pull through two this stitch is also
sometimes called a triple crochet you
know single crochet double crochet
triple crochet and I kind of like it
being called a triple crochet because
there's three or something I'll show you
what there's three ups so we going over
twice inside pull it through once
and what we do three of is we do the
pull through two loops loops three tides
so this is our first time pulling for
two loops our second time pulling
through two loops and our third time
pulling through two loops and triple
obviously has to do with having three so
that's kind of an easy way to remember
how to do this stitch so let's finish up
this row
and Here I am at the end of this row and
so remember we did four chained at the
beginning and that counts as our first
treble crochet and then we just do a
treble crochet in each spot across you
can see they have pretty tall stitches
these are good for if you're working in
front over behind other stitches those
are called front post and back post
crochet stitches and I can explain those
in another video eventually but for now
if you're doing these stitches they're
mainly just going to be tall with kind
of a bit of a gap between them and so it
almost could create lacy looks and lacy
textures and patterns but if you kind of
catch the idea it's very similar to the
double crochet just instead of looping
over once we do two yarn overs so the
concept is you can make a stitch that's
just about as tall as you want by
looping it over a whole bunch of times
inserting the hook yarn over once and
then just pulling through to until you
end up with no loops so just for fun
we're going to do a really tall stitch
we're going to go ahead and chain one
two three four five six so since this
sense for the treble crochet we went
over twice and that calls for a chain of
four since we added two more chain than
that we're going to do two extra yarn
overs so you can see I've got this loop
from the chain and then for yarn overs
so I've got those on the hook I'm going
to insert yarn over pull through one and
now here's where I start the yarn over
pull through two pattern do it one time
two times three times four times five
times so that's obviously a really tall
stitch and I don't know that you're
going to need this for many patterns I
just wanted to show you so you kind of
get the idea
of the pattern that emerges with doing
the multiple yarn overs and then pulling
through one versus pulling through two
so we'll do another one of these crazy
tall stitches and this actually does
have a name I just can't remember off
the top of
and it probably that means something
along the lines of five because we pull
it through to five times but you can see
that makes some really tall stitches
versus if I were to do just a double
crochet where I go in over one insert
pull through two pull through to kind of
see that is so much shorter that these
are having to bunch over so that way
they can fit next to the double crochet
but that's just kind of some fun stuff
the second row let's review the treble
crochet one more time I do see the
treble crochet a good bit in projects
generally speaking as far as patterns
and projects online go a treble crochet
which is this row here that's about as
tall of a stitch as you'll need for most
thing so we'll go ahead and we'll
practice this one more time so you get
the hang of it and then you know a lot
of stitches and that's pretty awesome so
we're going to chain four for our
turning chain turn the work yarn over
twice before inserting the hook and
yarning over once pull through one yarn
over pull through two yarn over pull
through two yarn over pull through two
yarn over twice inside the hook pull
through one yarn over pull through two
yarn over pull through two yarn over
pull through two and there you go you've
got a couple rows of triple or treble
crochet forming thanks for watching my
video I hope that this tutorial is
helpful and enabled you to learn another
stitch I also want to mention that if
you see that stitch in a pattern it will
be abbreviated usually TR for treble or
triple I have seen it abbreviated a
couple times TR C for treble crochet or
triple crochet but usually if you're
looking at a pattern it will say TR as
the abbreviation so that's handy to know
if you see it in a pattern but I hope
that helps you and that stitch comes in
handy when you're working on different
projects and things and
next time bye I don't know why I mean
baby it's because the brand name is
sugar and cream that makes me think of
it please always remind me kind of a
little cupcakes which is funny because
there actually is a kind of yarn that's
called a cupcake but it makes me want to
like put the hook in there and she
doesn't look like a little cupcake with
a candle on it see that's a little
candle and I would sing happy birthday
but I'm pretty sure that songs
copyrighted so I'm not going to sing
happy birthday so I don't get in trouble
so instead we're just gonna pretend that
we're all the same to have your
birthday's on and it's no one's birthday
by the way at least it's not my maybe
choice if it's yours happy birthday and
here's a cupcake um but if it's not your
birthday then happy unbirthday to you
too

Corporations Replace BPA with More DNA Damaging Bisphenols - Duration: 8:01.
Corporations Replace BPA with More DNA-Damaging Bisphenols
Just when you thought it was safe to buy BPA-free products, manufacturers flood the marketplace
with an alphabet soup of toxic bisphenols.
Consumer beware.
New research published in the journal Chemosphere confirms that the hormone-disrupting chemical
known as bisphenol A (BPA) is not the only bisphenol with DNA-damaging effects.
In fact, the new cell study found thatbisphenol AP, bisphenol M, or bisphenol P exerted genotoxic
potentials that are greater than that of BPA.
As consumer and regulatory pressure pushes manufacturers to eliminate BPA in favor of
ostensibly safer alternatives, some are simply substituting less well known bisphenols into
their products and disingenuously labeling them BPA-free. Others are finding truly
safer alternatives to bisphenols, but there is too little oversight to know for sure.
The US Food Supply Already Widely Contaminated With Bisphenols
This latest finding brings back to the forefront a concerning discovery made earlier this year
that a wide range of bisphenols are already contaminating the US food supply.
The study published in the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry analyzed the concentrations
of hormone-disrupting chemicals known as bisphenols in foodstuff from the United States and their
implications for human exposure, revealing widespread contamination.[i]
The researchers set out to determine the occurrence of bisphenols, other than BPA, in foodstuffs,
due to the fact that information on the topic is scarce.
Their methodology was as follows:
[S]everal bisphenol analogues, including BPA, BPF, and BPS, were analyzed in foodstuffs
(N = 267) collected from Albany, New York, USA, using high-performance liquid chromatography-tandem
mass spectrometry (HPLC-MS/MS).
Foodstuffs were divided into nine categories of beverages, dairy products, fat and oils,
fish and seafood, cereals, meat and meat products, fruits, vegetables, and others.
The study revealed bisphenol contamination of the US food supply is endemic:
Bisphenols were found in the majority (75%) of the food samples, and the total concentrations
of bisphenols (SBPs: sum of eight bisphenols) were in the range of below the limit of quantification
to 1130 ng/g fresh weight, with an overall mean value of 4.38 ng/g.
The highest overall mean concentration of SBPs was found in the others category,
which included condiments [emphasis added] Within the category of vegetables, a sample
of mustard (dressing) and ginger contained the highest concentrations of 1130 ng/g for
bisphenol F (BPF) and 237 ng/g for bisphenol P(BPP).
This dovetails with two other disturbing findings from last year: 1) human and synthetic hormones
now widely contaminate fresh produce.
2) synthetic hormone activity now eclipses that of natural hormones within exposed populations.
The Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry study also found that canned foods contained
higher concentrations of individual and total bisphenols in comparison to foods sold in
glass, paper, or plastic containers, likely due to the epoxy-resin can liners, which unless
explicitly labeled to be bisphenol free contain bisphenol
Even with the latest finding on the genotoxicity of bisphenols other than BPA, there still
has been little to no adequate toxicological and safety research performed on these relatively
novel xenobiotic chemicals, despite the fact that millions of consumers are already being
exposed to them.
It was only last year that it became apparent that global manufacturers of consumer goods
that formerly used BPA were switching to the equally toxic (and environmentally more persistent)
bisphenol BPS. [see: Consumer Alert: BPA-Free Goods Still Contain Toxin Bisphenol.]
BPS is increasingly being used to displace BPA in global paper currency and thermal printer
paper, and is now found in human urine samples at levels as high as BPA.
The new study discovered that the second most prevalent bisphenol analogue found in foodstuffs
was BPF, which accounted for 17% of the total BP concentrations versus 42% for BPA.
The study concluded that on the basis of measured concentrations and daily ingestion rates of
foods, the daily dietary intake of bisphenols (calculated from the mean concentration) were
estimated to be 243,142,177,63.6, and 58.6 ng/kg bw/day for
toddlers, infants, children, teenagers, and adults, respectively.
In order to understand how high these levels are, one must compare the disturbing effects
of so-called low-dose exposure levels in animals.
Two animal studies published in 2005 found that doses as low as 25 ng/kg bw/day resulted
in permanent changes to genital tract, [ii] and changes in breast tissue that
predispose cells to hormones and carcinogens[iii] Based on the study findings, toddlers are
being exposed to almost 10 times that amount (243 ng/kg bw/day) through their food alone.
This does not even account for many other sources in their environment, including sippy
cups, canned foods and formula, etc.

and encouraging their detoxification, read the article: Manufacturers Replace BPA with
Still Highly Toxic BPS
