James Comey Vs President Donald Trump, Bill Maher Vs The Decency & More - SOME NEWS - Duration: 10:15.

(dramatic music)

- Hi, here's some news.

President Trump announced in a speech

what seems like eight months ago

that's he's pulling out of the Paris Accord,

making a real mess on the planet's inner thigh, nope,

too graphic.

I mean, Earth is (bleep) and covered in (bleep), nope.

President Trump wants to remove the United States

from the Paris Accord, which is the agreement

that 195 out of 197 countries signed

to fight climate change.

And despite being told by his business advisory board

and his crush and corporations like Microsoft and even Exxon

and most scientists, he instead took the advice

of people like Steve Bannon, who clearly just wants

more cloud cover so he can go outside during the day,

and Scott Pruitt, current head of the EPA with ties to the

fossil fuel industry.

Here's what Trump said about leaving, which wouldn't

take effect until the day after election day in 2020.

"The United States will withdraw

"from the Paris Climate Accord - thank you, thank you -

"but begin negotiations to reenter either the Paris Accord

"or a really entirely new transaction

"on terms that are fair to the United States."

In other words, the United States

is leaving the Paris Accord, but we might go back,

but also we might just go to Taco Bell.

Trump sounds like the most infuriating person

to make plans with, it's like trying to meet up

with your drunk-ass friend, but they just keep texting

leaving soon for two hours straight.

Also, this is a voluntary agreement

where each country can set their own guidelines and goals,

so leaving it is like getting a take home test

that you can self-grade and refusing to do it at all

for a ridiculous reason like you think

all the other students are laughing at you

for taking the test just like they are.

But that would be

highly likely, given the source.

- We don't want other leaders and other countries

laughing at us anymore, and they won't be, they won't be.

- Because they'll be dead.

They'll be dead.

Obviously, I'm being hyperbolic,

so let's say you don't even believe in climate change.

Like, what if you make the common mistake

of thinking that climate and weather are the same thing?

Or maybe because we believed the universe revolved

around the Earth 2,000 (bleep) years ago

and now we don't, maybe that's a really good point.

Or maybe you interpret the data a certain way

because you work in or around fossil fuels.

And maybe you have other reasons, fine.

Perhaps the president is right, and climate change

is a hoax created by the Chinese so they can

cancel 100 coal plants and then invest in cleaner,

safer energy after signing the Paris Climate Agreement.

Let's say that.

If climate change isn't happening, things like coal plants

are still inarguably terrible for our air and water,

and are more expensive and less safe

than things like solar panels and wind turbines.

Just ask most scientists.

Although if you ask the president's vlog

from seven years ago that he's since deleted

but someone still has somewhere,

he hates wind turbines, which he calls windmills,

and thinks they look ugly, and he doesn't want them

near his golf course in Scotland,

as evidenced by years of documented litigation

between himself and Scotland.

So okay, Mr. President, instead of windmills,

just do coal.

(wind howling) (thunder)

Mordorlago.

Eh, eh?

Besides, coal jobs aren't disappearing

because the government is in the pocket of big clean energy,

they're going away, according to

our labor expert Morpheus, because of--

- Machines!

- Thank you, labor expert Morpheus

from the sequel to The Matrix, The Matrix 2: Matrices.

Speaking of machines, very serious man

and former FBI director James Comey testified

in front of Congress about his interactions

with very silly man current president Donald Trump,

the (bleep) president.

The hearing revealed a lot, but like sweet jazz,

let's listen to what he doesn't say.

When asked if he can confirm any criminal allegations

within the infamous Steele dossier, which alleges against

our president and his associates many crimes,

he had this to say.

- Mr. Chairman, I don't think that's a question

I can answer in an open setting.

- Skibby dap bap bow and so forth.

Some eagle-eyed viewers might notice

that the other possible answer was no.

Other highlights include the former FBI director

discrediting a story from the New York Times

and other nonsense in the news,

and implying that one of the reasons he took regular notes

on his meetings with the president

is because he thinks our president is

a bit of a liar who lies a lot and would lie about them,

even saying that he's seen the tweet about tapes

and hopes there are tapes.

He implicated former attorney general

Loretta Lynch's actions as the reason he released his letter

about the Clinton email investigation,

explained how our institutions are supposed to work,

and overall just sort of described in detail events

in which our president tried to use the FBI director's job

to leverage personal loyalty, and then talked

like a mob boss about hoping that the Flynn investigation

gets dropped while ignoring how our independent institutions

are supposed to function, and then he took away

the FBI director's job for showing

perceived personal disloyalty, which is not

what is required of our functioning institutions.

And breaking news, nothing will come of any of this.

Damn it.

Here's some news, there was a terror attack in London

this past week, and the general consensus

from the UK seems to be that the American media

is sensationalizing it far too much because they're trash.

So breaking news, thoughts and prayers, moving on.

Meanwhile in the UK, conservative prime minister

Theresa May called a snap election to gain more seats,

but instead lost many to the Labour party, and it's possible

that the next prime minister will be Labour's Jeremy Corb

Bernie would have won.

Here's some news, Bill Maher, comedian known

for having opinions that range from being obliviously racist

to those that are outwardly and unquestionably racist,

casually said the N-word on purpose

while he was surrounded by cameras and wearing a microphone

in a room that was filled with air, so the sound traveled.

A few comedians have come to the millionaire's aid saying

Bill's a comedian and it's just a joke,

which brings us to another installment of Is This a Joke?

- You're welcome.

We'd love to have you work in the fields with us.

(audience laughter)

- Work in the fields?

- That's part of the, that's--

(audience laughter)

- Senator, I'm a house (bleep).

No, it's--

- It's not.

It's literally not a joke.

When asked to work in the fields of Nebraska,

Bill very comfortably described himself

as a house N-word with a soft R, so you know it's okay.

But that's not a joke as much as it is a reminder

that white people used to have different nuanced categories

for non-human that they put black people in.

So

what's the joke?

(drum roll)

Should Bill Maher be fired?

Yeah, (bleep) it, sure, fire everybody.

But even if he doesn't, can we stop talking about him?

We ring our hands and dedicate a lot of media coverage

every time a Bill Maher or a Milo Lahren

says something ridiculous and say,

"Oh, this is how the left or the right think,

"are they all bad?"

Instead, let's just ignore them as

the irrelevant controversy courting trolls that they are.

So in that spirit, here's more about Bill Maher.

- I'm a house (bleep).

- So he said his stupid Bill Maher thing that sucked,

and the audience laughed and clapped,

which sucked even more.

And Bill said thank you, which (bleep) you.

But I wanna focus on the reactions of his guest,

Ben Sasse, which sucked the most.

- No, it's.

It's a joke.

(audience laughter)

- To be fair, yes, Ben, a senator from Nebraska,

was clearly visibly uncomfortable.

You could see in his eyes that he didn't know what to do

because he was the guest on a show

and there were cameras on and a cheering audience.

And the host of that show just casually

and comfortably dropped the N-word

and then thanked everyone for it.

But he should know what to do.

Ben Sasse, you're a senator, a father,

you just published a book about how parents in America

need to do a better job training our children

to be mature, responsible and accountable adults,

and that aging out of touch liberal elite sat across

from you and said one of the last purely hate-infused words

in our global vocabulary, and you smiled?

Instead of saying, top of the dome,

no, everybody, stop clapping.

Bill, I know this is your show, and I'm a guest,

but that word has a lot of history to it,

and a lot of present hatred wrapped up in it,

and you have no claim to use it,

and you do real damage when you do

as evidenced by some alternate reality

in which instead of saying this, I merely smiled.

Your casual use of that word on your global platform

sends a message that hate-speak is okay

and that is not a reflection of the America

that I, a Senator, represent.

Apologize, right now.

Something like that.

Hey, Ben, actually, hey, white people,

we need to be better about this.

The current symbol for white pride in America

is a dapper Nazi.

Wouldn't it be better if the symbol for white pride

in America was someone who loudly and proudly

told Bill Maher to shut the (bleep) up?

There's so much more pride in being part of an engine

that stands up to hate than there is being part of one

that stands on the side while hate barrels through.

We see it in the weekly footage of some white asshole

publicly shouting ugly, hateful things at people of color.

The worst part of these videos is everything, all of it.

But there are always people who just watch.

Yes, it's uncomfortable, but we need to be able

to speak up for people in these situations, and yes,

the only example that comes to mind

is when two people died in Portland for doing exactly that.

But that's terrorism.

Making people afraid to speak up.

And as cheesy as it sounds, provolone.

And as corny as it sounds, maze.

But as cliche as it sounds, not speaking up

against hate is letting the terrorists win.

Speaking of speaking up, calls to Congress

have reportedly gone back down to pre-Trump numbers.

In the past, the high number of phone calls

has actually influenced members on important issues,

so take that, money.

But recently, those calls have subsided,

and during Comey's testimony, Congress rolled back

some of Dodd-Frank, which was meant to reign in

financial institutions and prevent another recession,

so here's the number for the congressional switchboard.

Call your rep today, it doesn't have to be about that,

tell him to build the wall or repeal

the Affordable Care Act or save the Affordable Care Act

or renegotiate the Geneva Conventions

or see the president's taxes.

It can be whatever is in your heart.

Stand up, speak out, shout it loud!

Bernie would've won!

(calm instrumental music)

(bright guitar music)

- Hey, everybody, thanks for watching Some News.

Drawing Your Experiences · Drawing All The Time #2 · semiskimmedmin - Duration: 23:02.

It's Saturday, it's two-thirty and today I'm look at ways that you can take your

experiences or everyday goings-on and turn them into a piece of art.

So that every day, there's something new you can draw.

I'm hoping things are a bit easier than last time, I's still trying to get the hand

of drawing and talking at the same time, I wasn't entirely happy with the spread turned

out last time.

Also, today's episode is probably gonna be a little bit shorter than last time.

So, I'd love to know how you guys prefer it.

These first two episodes will have been pre-recorded while I'm in Mexico, so when I get back I'll

be able to take on any feedback.

I'm still playing catch up in this sketchbook, filling in the gaps of missed daily drawings,

where I've had ideas but not had the time to execute them.

So this spread is based on a night out that I had back in April, I'm planning on drawing

a kind of panorama of the venue of the event and I thought this would be a good time to

talk about illustrating experiences.

This was a week in my quest for consistent drawing where I was starting to feel like

I needed a go-to, back-up prompt, so that I could always have an idea of what to draw.

And what easier prompt is there than, draw something that happened today.

Reason being; every day is different, even in the slightest of ways.

You'll always have something to draw, you can even use the repetitive aspects of your

day as a theme to draw from.

The artist Liz Steel, who has the most awe inspiring completed sketchbook collection,

years upon years of daily sketches and visual records of what she's done, I'll leave

a link to her website below, she's also on youtube, but among all her drawings and

paintings are tons of drawings of her coffee that day.

Sometimes in different teacups but always the same thing.

It's such a clever go-to idea, to make sure you never really have that stalling moment

of staring at a blank page and not knowing what to do with it.

So that's WHY drawing your daily experiences has got to be one of the easiest, simplest

art prompts you could give yourself.

The difficult part is the WHAT and the HOW.

What part of your day.

What if you didn't do anything.

And even if you did do something, how can you show it in a sketch.

How can you draw an activity or experience or feeling.

I'm gonna talk about the how first, in a sense of how to find inspiration in the every

day stuff.

I'll talk about the practical how of how to draw it out in a bit.

So the first thing would obviously be that you have to experience things, in order to

have experiences to draw from.

This particular day that I'm drawing from, really could have been any other day in my

life.

I'm very routine-oriented; you really cant get a more repetitive, monotonous day than

mine, and that's how I like it.

So I was doing my usual, packing orders, responding to emails and things, I did some tidying,

I had just got back from New York so I had a lot of washing to put away.

And had I not had plans for that evening, that could really have been my whole day.

I could've ended the day with some more adminny stuff, watched a bit of telly and

gone to bed.

So I think it's important to look at how to start recognising note-worthy moments in

the most monotonous of days.

I always have some kind of go-to questions for myself at the end of the day to see what

bits could potentially stand out.

What did I eat; even if you have the same meals every day, which I don't think many

people do, you could draw that again and again the way Liz Steele does her coffee.

Instant, consistent drawing idea.

Remember this is all about not giving yourself room to stall when it comes to drawing as

much as you can.

You don't want the excuse of I didn't know what to draw.

Other things; What was the weather like?

Did I listen to or watch anything today?

I'm addicted to buying things online, did I get any deliveries today?

What did I wear?

Now on this particular day, as I was going out, my day took a detour out of the routine

and I got changed, I got ready.

In your head, you should be getting into the habit of recognising little variations in

each day.

It's great for daily drawing obviously but it also really helps with general mindfulness

being aware of your day and not feeling like you're drifting from day to day.

So I got changed.

And even that little thing, that's an element I could draw from, top I've never worn.

Nothing is too mundane.

That's a really important point.

Learn to look at your life through the eyes of an artist.

So that's the 'how to always have an experience to draw from in your day, even if you don't

do anything'.

Once you've discovered the stand-out thing from the day, the next hardest part is how

you're going to draw it.

Because experiences are hard to translate onto paper.

So here are my suggestions.

First of all, it doesn't have to be literal.

Remember that all you're trying to do is give yourself something to draw.

Once you've got an idea, you can do anything with it.

You could try abstracting that idea, taking a word or theme from your day and drawing

from that.

If the highlight of this day for me was wearing this new top, I could draw the top or I could

draw the pattern from the top or I could fill a page with other floral patterns.

The first thing I did on this page, cos I was saving this page to record memories of

this night, the only thing I could think to do at the time was stamp it with the, you

know when you go to an event and they stamp your wrist so you can come in and out.

I had the stamp on me at the time, I stamped myself so I could get in for free (jk) and

I stamped my sketchbook.

And there's nothing wrong with that as a starting point.

Sticking things in.

If it helps you to break up the blankness of a page and you have something relevant

to stick in then go for it.

It's a step in the right direction to drawing your experience.

But in terms of actually DRAWING since that is the whole point, one idea would be to draw

like a snapshot of a scene.

Like if you're decided to draw the part of your day where you were waiting for your

bus you could literally draw you at the bus stop like a screenshot from a film or a panel

in a comic strip, you at the bus stop.

This night I went to, The Big Steez, it's part of a big collaborative movement, events

and things to showcase musicians and artists and poets and all sorts mainly in South East

London.

They've been putting on nights like this since 2011, I've been going to them since about

2011.

And I think sometimes, the more eventful or interesting or unique a day is, the harder

it might actually be to capture.

This was a night with so many different dimensions, amazing music, talent, collaboration, creativity…

… how to capture the atmosphere of that in a drawing, can be a challenge.

How to do it justice.

How to sum it up into one image.

What I'm doing, which is another suggestion of what to draw from your day, is I'm drawing,

kind of the scene, but mainly, the location, the setting.

In this case, I don't think just a snapshot would do it justice so my go-to daily drawing

is always the room I was in or the surroundings.

In terms of portraying the feelings, especially if it were an empty room you were drawing,

that's where you have freedom of creativity I guess to use colours, exaggerating certain

elements.

In this particular drawing I want to try and show the busy-ness of the night, the movement,

that's why I've got people in some interesting positions, just the general vibe and atmosphere

of a crowded pub.

And I'll probably get into that more with the colours I use later on.

I'm thinking quite dark, blues purples maybe a bit of warmth in there as well.

So to recap quickly;

Why you should draw from every day experiences one is that You'll always have something

to draw the next is that it teaches you to be more

mindful of everyday moments

and then for What to draw ask yourself what was different about today

and Focus on the repetitive things like meals

Then in terms of How to turn your idea into a drawing I would say

draw it like a snapshot of a scene or draw the surroundings.

So that's what we've talked about so far.

I normally wouldnt put os many little details into a drawing but in this case I think it

all adds to the feel of the busy-ness.

And then for some other ideas, you can focus in on particular aspects.

If you're more comfortable drawing people; draw someone that was there or someone that

you spoke to that day.

Or one specific detail; like today its raining, I could draw the way the drops run down a

window.

On one of my more recent uneventful days actually earlier this week, the stand out moment was

that there was a wasp in my bathroom and I ended up filling a page with studies of wasps.

Happy with that.

So, snapshot, surroundings, faces, food, details.

This is more a prompt in the sense that, you're giving yourself something to think about,

you're training yourself to generate ideas differently.

And to see the world differently.

I watch catfish almost every day.

I could do studies of literal catfish I could draw Nev and Max, I could draw my TV or the

remote, I could think more conceptually about the act of catfishing and see if I could come

up with a piece based on that.

So finally, for the practical side of how to record these things.

Well there are three ways I would say that you can approach it.

You can draw from imagination, you can draw from photos or reference, or you can draw

from life, so looking at what's right in front of you and daw from that.

And none of these ways, no one is better than the other.

I can't tell you how many comments I get from people who struggle to draw without reference

and feel bad about using references for their art, like that takes away the authenticity

or means they're less talented.

Every artist that you know of, hasn't spent their entire career drawing from their own

imagination.

You have to draw from reference in order to learn.

You need to give yourself a starting point to go from.

So do whatever you feel most comfortable with, don't let anyone tell you you're doing

it wrong.

Remember, your goal was to draw something today.

However you achieve that, you achieved it, and drawing as often as possible is gonna

catapult you to the level you wanna be at.

It's getting late guys it's like four o clock already, the time is just going so quickly.

I just finished having my lunch and I don't know if you heard the doorbell earlier.

If I edited that out.

But some family friends came round earlier on and they brought round their puppy for

me to meet and they brought round their other dog for me to hang out with.

But yeah spent a lot of time doing that and I've just been in and out of doing this drawing

for the last couple of hours.

And that's one of the reasons why when people ask me how long a typical page or drawing

takes I don't have like a straight answer for it becuase I'm always up and down and

out of breath from coming up the stairs.

Just yeah up and down and doing bits and bobs in between.

But yeah I'm gonna crack on.

Get this, get this going.

Get back on with it.

Did have a good time hanging out with those little doggies though.

See that could be my highlight of the day, little doggos.

That's why you just have to always be open to seeing the interesting side of even the

most silly little things.

So anyway I've lost my train of thought now.

I think I basically covered all the things I wanted to say in this video anyway.

That is my key to essentially always having something to draw.

There are different ways as well, there are different prompts you could use I'll cover

in later videos.

But yeah in terms of using the prompt of drawing your experiences, that is how I approach it,

those are the things I would draw, that's how I would do them and obviously that's what

I'm doing today.

So it would be cool to know if any of you do something similar, or if you would consider

it now that I've spoken about it.

And what kinds of things you might draw from your day or what particular thing you might

focus on.

You know, I don't know if this did turn out to be shorter than last time.

I hope you enjoyed it anyway.

Thanks so much for watching, I'll be back soon, back-back, with the next video and hopefully

a good tan, so I'll see you then, bye!

trying and do that

because the minute you get into a car accident

your instinct is to get out as

fast as possible

now we know to stop, think

and think about not

releasing your seat belt too soon.

or you can break your neck

so that's a really good learning lesson.

that was totally different

that was stressful.

I got a little claustrophobic.

So Dave's drinking and driving

okay so you're drunk yeah?

imagine. Turn a little bit.

here is the ball

I have the ball.

it should be right in front of me.

this is this is what it feels like

when you have four or five beers and you're

trying to get your is your bearings

you can't

so the lesson here is

don't drink and drive

or play football

okay we are going to be learning the side slip

we're outside now a we've moved on from

the simulator

Oh the fun begins

now fully left

Woo! Woah

Women are better at this!

I did good

all right we're going on two wheels

it is really exciting

here we go!

here we go

Sarah Ferguson and Daughters Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice React To Prince Andrew's scandal - Duration: 3:08.

While Prince Andrew has been the focus of an underage sex slave scandal, but have we

forgotten about the Duke of Yorks former wife Sarah Ferguson, AKA Fergie, The Duchess

of York?

Sarah Ferguson and daughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie have no choice but to

react to the devastating details of the Prince Andrew sex slave scandal released by Jane

Doe 3, Virginia Roberts how is the scandal affecting them?

Though Sarah Ferguson, divorced Prince Andrew, Duke of York in 1996 after a four-year separation,

the two still lived together and supported one another over the years, even more so recently.

Just last November, Fergie had attended an official engagement in an effort to support

her ex husband.

Their daughters, Princess Beatrice, 26, and Princess Eugenie, 24, attended the event as

well.

Shortly after, the Duchess of York was given permission by Queen Elizabeth to host a charity

event in the state apartments at Windsor Castle, with the Duke of York on hand to help the

Duchess.

That closeness may soon end as Fergie, Beatrice and Eugenie are shaken by the allegations

that have been brought against their former husband and father, respectively.

Sarah Ferguson is especially sickened because the accuser, Virginia Roberts, was so young

at the time the alleged sex scandal took place.

She thought of how tragic that would be for any mother to hear about their young daughter,

and cannot believe her ex, commonly known as Randy Andy, would take advantage of a young

girl, when he is the father of two young daughters.

Princess Beatrice is throwing back champagne with rowdy pal Bee Shaffer, daughter of Anna

Wintour, in the Caribbean in an effort to escape the hurt and anger she is feeling towards

her father.

Princess Eugenie escaped with Cressida Bonas, former flame of Prince Harry, to the Swiss

Alps.

Both are trying to keep busy and stay far away from their father right now.

Neither Princess Beatrice or Princess Eugenie believe their fathers denial of any wrongdoings.

Theyve known about their fathers reputation for years and dont doubt that he could

have been involved in the sex scandal.

Having returned early from holidaying, Prince Andrew had to face his mother, Queen Elizabeth

obviously to discuss the allegations, and likely to plan for damage control.

If that wasnt bad enough for the Duke of York, it is now being reported by The Telegraph

that police sources have confirmed the Duke of York may face a Scotland Yard investigation

over the sex abuse claims made by Virginia Roberts if she makes a formal complaint about

him.

March, 3rd.

2016.

Hello from Jungkook.

I can't believe that we broke up.

We've been so happy together, planned our future...

but yesterday you had a wedding with him.

I was not invited, of course, I came there without an invitation.

I was standing in the distance...

hiding in a crowd of guests.

I felt almost physically pain when I looked at your happy smiles.

About all of this...

I didn't tell even Yoongi-hyung.

He would be worried about me,

and I don't wanna hyung to suffer.

I can only...

keep diary

and take meds.

Today I will visit my psychiatrist again.

He'll hardly help me.

- hey, bunny, are you sure you alright?

- I'm fine, really.

The pills don't help.

When I...

take it,

I feel worse.

Unfortunately Yoongi-hyung noticed that.

After,

he tried to find out what's happening to me.

I assured him,

that he should not worry about a trifle.

I've never thought I can lie him.

I'm sorry.

So sorry to disappoint him.

btw, my doctor asked me about you,

and I...

called you betrayer,

traitor,

coward

and liar,

who will cheat to own husband.

I hope so.

I just wanted to say, that...

Yoongi-hyung is the best person in the whole world.

I am very grateful for his support and understanding.

And...

thanks for his love.

So sorry that my heart doesn't listen to me.

That's all.

The end.

Don't blame yourself for what happened...

and know that I've always wanted to love you, hyung.

If I don't answer, I'm not here anymore.

I will tell him.

I just wanna you remember...

that I love you,

I love you endlessly.

These pipes that flow from the ink machine, give life to our little friend moving on the

screen.

He's got 2 pointy ears and can be seen moving in the halls behind the scenes.

He's listening and always moving, following and choosing, standing and improving.

Then one day you pulled the spring and you re-animated our little bendy.

Bendy and the ink machine In a way you've never seen.

Bendy and the ink machine.

Better watch out or he'll make you scream!

He's got a friend named Boris that loves to play, that good ol' music from the day.

In a big large band with all of his friends the clarinet was there for him til' the

end.

With a hoot and a toot that's all he'd play but now he's put up on display.

Waitin' to be animated with no heart, but that's a story for another day.

Bendy and the ink machine In a way you've never seen.

Bendy and the ink machine.

Better watch out or he'll make you scream!

To please them and make things right and settle up all the odds.

We were never supposed to exist in this dimensional plane.

Now we suffer it's all your fault and you will know our pain.

Memorial Song (by Chabinho)

It's over, Summer is gone.

Your heart calls you back, everything's waiting for you.

Your friends who were left here long ago,

Another Summer is waiting for you.

The water surface became calm,

You cannot see anything shining anymore.

But memories still live inside us,

A new hope comes to us.

Every word, every feeling,

Accompanies you, anywhere you are.

Every sound, like a tune

Lives inside us and accompanies us.

So don't leave me, don't leave anything nice behind you,

Since you cannot know what waits for you there.

So stay! Stay, because everything was nice only with you,

But you're gone, there's no hope.

Clouds floating across the sky,

The Sun showed up on a sorrowful afternoon.

On the photograph made of you long ago

There's a smile, and that's enough.

Republicans Repeal Disastrous Tax Cuts - Duration: 7:18.

AFTER YEARS OF SUFFERING, KANSAS'S TAX PROBLEMS MIGHT

FINALLY GO AWAY, AT LEAST IN PART, AFTER REPUBLICANS THIS

WEEK OVERRODE THEIR OWN PARTY'S GOVERNOR'S VETO OF A TAX

INCREASING BILL.

BASICALLY WHAT HAPPENED WAS BACK IN LIKE 2014,

BROWNBACK COMES IN, REPUBLICAN GOVERNOR, HE DECIDES WE HAVE

THESE FANTASIES AS A PARTY OF MASSIVE TAX CUTS, AND YOU KNOW

WHAT?

I'M GOING ALL IN.

SO HE SLASHED TAXES FOR INDIVIDUALS,

CORPORATIONS, MASSIVELY CHANGING THEIR TAX CODE, AND THE DEFENSE

AT THAT TIME WAS THAT THIS WILL STIMULATE SO MUCH ECONOMIC

ACTIVITY THAT YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THE LOSS OF

REVENUE, IT WILL FIX ITSELF.

NOW, PROGRESSIVES LIKE US HAVE

BEEN TELLING YOU, AND PEOPLE HAVE BEEN TELLING YOU FOR

DECADES, THAT THAT'S NOT ACTUALLY HOW IT WORKS.

THEY HAD

THEIR EXPERIMENT IN KANSAS AND WE SAW THE RESULTS, I WENT TO

KANSAS A YEAR OR TWO AGO WITH A UNION OF TEACHERS ON THE 50TH

ANNIVERSARY OF THE BROWN V THE BOARD OF EDUCATION BECAUSE THEIR

EDUCATION SYSTEM HAS BEEN DEVASTATED BY LOST REVENUE,

TRANSPORTATION, ROAD MAINTENANCE, ALL OF THAT

DEVASTATED BECAUSE THEY AREN'T MAKING THE MONEY THAT USED TO.

NOT ONLY ARE THEY GETTING LESS TAX REVENUE BUT THERE ARE SO

MANY LOOPHOLES THAT MANY INDIVIDUALS ARE RECLASSIFYING

THEIR INCOME AS SMALL BUSINESSES, AND IT'S BEEN A

DISASTER FOR KANSAS.

CREDIT TO THE REPUBLICANS AT LEAST IN SOME

PART, THEY'VE BEEN TRYING TO FIX THIS FOR A FEW MONTHS, TRYING TO

PASS AT LEAST SMALL INCREASES IN TAXES, REPEALING SOME OF THOSE

TAX CUTS, BUT BROWNBACK HAS STOPPED THEM UNTIL THIS WEEK,

WHEN THEY WERE ABLE TO GET A VETOPROOF MAJORITY.

WE AREN'T

TALKING ABOUT A LOT OF TAXES, VERY SMALL NUMBERS --

THAT IS THE PROGENITOR OF MANY OF THE LOOPHOLE

PROBLEMS THEY HAD.

I KNOW THOSE PERCENTAGES DON'T SEEM LIKE MUCH, BUT THEY DO HAVE

A VERY LARGE IMPACT IN TERMS OF RAISING REVENUE FOR THE STATE.

I

DO WANT TO GIVE STATE LAWMAKERS, PARTICULARLY RIGHT-WING STATE

LAWMAKERS, A GREAT DEAL OF CREDIT FOR DOING WHAT THEY ARE

DOING, FOR FIGHTING ON THIS ISSUE, EVEN AFTER THE GOVERNOR

VETOED IT.

I LOVE THE FACT THAT THEY GOT TOGETHER AND FOUND A

WAY TO OVERRIDE HIS VETO, AND ESSENTIALLY THEY DID THE RIGHT

THING.

THEY REALIZED IT WAS HURTING THEIR STATE, THEIR

CONSTITUENTS, AND I LOVE THAT FOR ONCE POLITICS WERE PUSHED

ASIDE AND REGARDLESS OF POLITICAL IDEOLOGY THESE

LAWMAKERS DECIDED TO REPRESENT THEIR CONSTITUENTS AS OPPOSED TO

BIG BUSINESSES.

WITH THAT SAID, THERE ARE SIMILAR PROBLEMS IN

OTHER STATES INCLUDING BLUE STATES LIKE CALIFORNIA.

SO IN

THE LATE 1970S -- AND THIS IS DIFFERENT BECAUSE IT'S NOT A

GOVERNOR COMING IN AND CHANGING THINGS UP -- BUT IN THE LATE

1970S, CALIFORNIA PASSED A BALLOT MEASURE KNOWN AS PROP 13,

AND THAT DRAMATICALLY CUT TAX REVENUE TO THE STATE IN THE FORM

OF PROPERTY TAXES, IT CAPPED PROPERTY TAXES AT I BELIEVE A

LITTLE OVER 1.5% OF THE VALUE OF A HOME.

THINK ABOUT IT --

EDUCATION IS FUNDED THROUGH PROPERTY TAXES, SO THE LAUSD,

FOR INSTANCE, WAS ONE OF THE BEST SCHOOL DISTRICTS IN THE

COUNTRY, AND AFTER THIS BALLOT MEASURE PASSED, THE SCHOOLS

SUFFERED BECAUSE THEY LOST A BUNCH OF REVENUE.

AND THE OTHER

PART OF THAT BALLOT MEASURE WAS THAT IN ORDER TO INCREASE TAXES

YOU NEEDED A TWO THIRDS MAJORITY TO VOTE IN FAVOR OF INCREASING

TAXES, WHICH NEVER HAPPENS, WHICH IS INCREDIBLY TOUGH.

SO

CALIFORNIA SUFFERS IN A SIMILAR WAY EVEN THOUGH THE TAX CUTS

WERE DONE IN A DIFFERENT METHOD.

OR THROUGH A DIFFERENT METHOD.

I'M GIVING YOU ALL OF THAT BECAUSE THIS IS A PROBLEM

THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY, I LIKE THAT KANSAS IS TAKING A

STEP IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION.

THIS ISN'T THE TAX PLAN I WOULD HAVE PASSED IN KANSAS, BUT

THIS IS KANSAS AFTER ALL.

IT'S THE REPUBLICANS FELT THEY HAD

THIS PROBLEM IN THE FIRST PLACE, BOTH THE GOVERNOR AND THE STATE

LEGISLATURE, BUT AT LEAST TO SOME EXTENT THEY FIXED IT.

THIS

IS CONSEQUENTIAL NOT JUST FOR KANSAS BUT FOR THE U.S. AS WELL.

IF THERE IS ANY REASON IN THE WORLD, IF PEOPLE ARE RATIONAL AT

ALL, IT WILL MATTER, BECAUSE THIS ISN'T JUST THEORETICALLY

LIKE THE REPUBLICAN TAX PLAN, LIKE TRUMP'S TAX PLAN HE WANTS

FOR THE ENTIRE COUNTRY -- MANY OF THE PEOPLE WHO CRAFTED

BROWNBACK'S PLAN ARE ECONOMIC ADVISERS FOR DONALD TRUMP.

THEY

ARE TRYING TO DO TO THE COUNTRY WHAT THEY DID TO KANSAS.

WHAT

KANSAS SUFFERED UNDER FOUR YEARS, AND WHAT THEY HAD TO COME

UNDER EMERGENCY CONDITIONS, FIX.

WE CAN THEORETICALLY GET IN

FRONT OF THAT IN THE U.S., WE DON'T NEED TO ALLOW THEM TO PASS

THAT TAX PLAN AND CUT CORPORATE TAXES DOWN TO ONE THIRD OF WHAT

THEY ARE NOW, WE DON'T NEED TO DECIMATE THE FEDERAL DEPARTMENT

OF EDUCATION, TRANSPORTATION, HEALTH AND ALL THAT, WE DON'T

NEED TO GO DOWN THAT ROAD.

WE CAN LEARN FROM KANSAS'S EXAMPLE

AND MAKE SURE THAT DOESN'T HAPPEN IN THE FIRST PLACE.

THIS

SHOULD BE A LEARNING EXPERIENCE NOT JUST FOR KANSAS BUT FOR

ALL OF US.

I FEEL LIKE FEDERAL POLICY IN REGARD TO TAXES SHOULD HAVE

SERVED AS A CASE STUDY FOR WHY CUTTING TAXES DOESN'T MAKE

SENSE.

DID IT STIMULATE THE ECONOMY WHEN WE CUT TAXES FOR

THE WEALTHY?

WHEN WE CREATED CORPORATE TAX LOOPHOLES THAT

ESSENTIALLY ALLOW THE BIGGEST CORPORATIONS IN THE COUNTRY TO

NOT PAY A SINGLE DOLLAR IN INCOME TAX?

I WILL HAVE TO CHECK.

WE KNOW WHAT THE ANSWER IS.

I'M NOT IN AGREEMENT WITH ANYONE

WHO THINKS TAXES NEED TO BE INSANELY HIGH FOR PEOPLE WHO

EARN THE MOST MONEY, BUT IF YOU ARE A MILLIONAIRE OR

BILLIONAIRE, PAYING YOUR FAIR SHARE OF TAXES WILL STILL ALLOW

YOU TO REMAIN A MILLIONAIRE OR BILLIONAIRE, YOU WILL BE FINE.

ONE FINAL THING, BROWNBACK OBVIOUS LEE THE BAD GUY IN THIS,

BUT HE'S EVEN WORSE THAN YOU MIGHT THINK BASED ON JUST THIS

ISSUE --

-- THAT WAS A PRIOR ATTEMPT TO FIX THE SITUATION --

AGAIN, MEDICAID, A PROGRAM

THAT THEORETICALLY HELPS SOME OF

THE MOST VULNERABLE KANSANS, REPUBLICANS TRIED TO DO AT LEAST

SOMETHING APPROACHING THE RIGHT THING, BUT NO, THEY'VE GOT

BROWNBACK SO IT DIDN'T ACTUALLY HAPPEN.

TOO BAD FOR KANSAS.

AT THIS POINT IT'S UP TO THE CONSTITUENTS OF KANSAS TO MAKE

THE RIGHT CHOICE IN FUTURE ELECTIONS.

BROWNBACK IS NOT

LOOKING OUT FOR YOU, IT'S CLEAR.

SO IF EVEN THE GOP LAWMAKERS IN

THAT STATE ARE BUTTING HEADS WITH HIM, THERE IS SOMETHING UP.

Crazy Dough Pizza - Crazy Dough Bread Series Ep 2 - Duration: 4:44.

Hi Bold Bakers.

Crazy Dough is one dough with endless possibilities, both sweet and savory like cinnamon rolls

or even Naan bread.

Last week we made cheesy bread with the dough and this week we're going to use the same

dough to make pizza.

So let's get baking.

So I know that everybody out there will be able to make this dough.

It is really easy and best of all, you don't even need a stand mixer to make it.

Now I made the dough in a previous video so make sure you check that out.

And also the recipe for it can be found on biggerbolderbaking.com.

Okay, now let's talk pizza.

Here I have my dough.

And this dough makes four big pizzas, so just cut it into four sections.

Now I'm going to roll out one pizza to show you how to make it, but if you don't want

to cook off all four pizzas, then pop these guys into baggies and put them in the fridge

or you can even freeze them and then take them out whenever you want to make homemade

pizza.

Okay so on a floured surface I'm going to roll my dough into a ball.

Get a nice round shape on him.

So now, when you're rolling out dough, you might notice that it springs back into shape

and goes kind of small.

Don't worry, that's exactly what bread dough should do.

And what it is is the gluten retracting and going small again.

So here is the trick.

You want to put a towel over your pizza dough.

Let it sit there, walk away, let it rest for around 15 minutes and by the time you come

back to it, it will be really easy to roll out.

If it still springs back, it needs a little bit more time.

But don't worry, it will get there.

So I let my dough rest for around 20 minutes and now he's going to be ready to roll out

even more.

So every Monday I'm going to show you a new recipe that you can use this one dough

for like focaccia and pretzels so make sure you tune in every Monday.

Now you want to roll out your pizza to roughly ten to twelve inches.

It is going to give you a lovely thin crust.

So great, our pizza is lovely and round.

Mine don't always come out round so this is looking good.

Now here I have a thin edged tray that is dusted with some flour.

And what we're going to do is carefully lift our pizza base onto our tray.

Now you're going to see why in a few minutes.

Okay, once he's on there, you start to decorate your pizza while he's on the tray.

Now you do this so it can easily slide from this tray into the oven.

Now here I've got some pizza sauce.

Now I have a recipe for this sauce on biggerbolderbaking.com, but you can also use store bought sauce.

Now I'm just going to get a big spoonful and spread it all the way around my base.

Lovely.

Don't be shy with the sauce.

It's one of my favorite parts.

And then I'm going to scatter over some lovely mozzarella.

Now you can use any kind of a cheese that you want; it's really up to you.

Parmesan would be good.

Some swiss cheese.

Okay, lovely.

The more, the merrier when it comes to the cheese.

Now you want to be careful when you're putting on your toppings.

Don't put on too many toppings because it will weigh down your pizza and you won't

be able to get it off the tray.

Now we're going to make one of my favorite pizzas which is pepperoni pizza.

I absolutely love it.

So I'm going to put on lots of pepperonis everywhere.

Now these pizzas are really fun to make at the weekend, for sleepover or for parties.

They are easy to make and everyone can decorate and make their own.

Okay, this is looking delicious.

This pizza is ready for the oven.

So you want to bake your pizza at 450 degrees Fahrenheit or 225 degrees Celsius for roughly

nine to twelve minutes.

So as you saw, I actually had a preheated tray in my oven and the reason that I do this

is because it gives you a lovely, crispy crust.

So if you can, put a tray into your oven and slide your pizza right on to that.

It will make the world of difference.

So this is a good time to say if you haven't yet done so, don't forget to hit that subscribe

button so you don't miss out on any of my upcoming videos.

Okay, I'm starting to smell pizza and gooey cheese so I think it's ready.

This pizza looks amazing.

The crust is a lovely golden brown on the outside and what I love is that there is still

gooey cheese in the middle.

Now we're going to go ahead and cut our pizza because its best enjoyed warm, straight

from the oven so it's still nice and soft.

Now just look at this base.

It's a lovely, thin, crispy base.

This is my kind of pizza.

Oh my gosh.

Who does not love homemade pizza?

And you saw how easy it was to make this.

You have to try this recipe.

Okay, so with our crazy dough we have already made cheesy bread and we've made pizza.

So you've got to come back next Monday because I'm going to show you how to make delicious

homemade naan.

I really hope you enjoyed this episode and I will see you back here next week for more

you don't want to do it

um close your mouth

I feel worse.

Unfortunately Yoongi-hyung noticed that.

After,

he tried to find out what's happening to me.

I assured him,

that he should not worry about a trifle.

I've never thought I can lie him.

I'm sorry.

So sorry to disappoint him.

btw, my doctor asked me about you,

called you betrayer,

I hope so.

I just wanted to say, that...

Yoongi-hyung is the best person in the whole world.

I am very grateful for his support and understanding.

And...

thanks for his love.

So sorry that my heart doesn't listen to me.

The Glutamine Bodybuilding Myth You MUST Know! - Duration: 2:31.

Hey guys, Paul from Ultimate Fat Burner.com here, and today I`m going to talk to you about

the main glutamine bodybuilding myth that I`ve encountered, and

it`s one that you abolutely should know about.

More details in just a couple of seconds, stick around, I`ll

be right back.

Hey!

You`re still here!

Cool!

Ok before I get into this glutamine bodybuiding myth, one quick point - I`ve included links

to the clincial studies that support my argument in the description

field under this video.

Of course, those are there so you know I`m not just making this stuff up as I go along,

and so that you can check my work, so to speak.

So please be sure to check them out if you like.

OK, so with that said, what's the L glutamine bodybuilding myth that I`m talking about?

Well, in my opinion - and this based on 6 years of owning a supplement store and almost

20 years of running a supplement review site - it`s that glutamine

builds muscle - that makes you stronger and improves training and bodybuilding performance.

Much as I'd love to tell you otherwise, it doesn't appear to do so.

Now if you just bought a big jug of glutamine, don't freak out - this is still a great supplement

- one of my favorites, actually - and it's well worth taking, even if it doesn't contribute

directly to improved athletic performance.

It offers a ton of benefits - and I'll include a link to a video I've done on them at the

end of the video, so stick around for that - and it

does have some practical applications from a bodybuilding perspective and basically sports performance perspective, and that is that

it improves glucose regulation, immune function, protein

synthesis and promotes a positive nitrogen balance

So it`s still very much worth taking, even if it doesn`t work directly to make you stronger.

And that, my friends is the glutamine bodybuilding myth.

Alright that's a wrap, thank you so much for watching.

I really hope you enjoyed this video, if you did it would be great it you could give it

a thumbs, and if you think your friends would like it,

a share would be cool too.

Now, if you've used glutamine yourself and would like to share your experience,

please leave a comment below, I'd love to hear about them as would our our viewers.

And of course, if you're not subscribed to this channel yet it would be great if you

could join us.

There's an icon here to my right that you can click,

or use the red subscribe button just below this video.

It would be great to have on board.

I try to publish new videos every week, so there's always

something interesting coming your way.

Thanks so much for watching and I'll see you really soon.

Asking Questions in English | Question Structure | Fix Your Grammar Mistakes! - Duration: 10:14.

Hello, I'm Emma from English!

Asking questions and giving answers are the basics of great conversation,

in English and in any language!

But, are you doing it correctly in English?

Many of my students can get by, they can get their message across

even without the correct structure word order or intonation

But, it makes for a very bumpy awkward conversation!

In this lesson, I want to help you improve the structure of your questions,

so that they flow smoothly, clearly, and automatically!

And finally you can start enjoying English conversation!

It's important to spend some time improving your Q&A skills!

Have you heard that before? Q&A

It stands for question and answers.

You might have heard it somewhere before, Q&A.

First up, let's review question structure in English.

Now, the good news is that English questions are fairly consistent

and easy to follow because they have a clear structure.

There are four main parts that you need to keep in mind.

The first part: question words.

Then number two is your auxiliary verb

or your helping verb: be, do or have.

It can also be a modal auxiliary verb like can or will or should.

Thirdly, you need your subject.

And your main verb, any verb!

These are the four things that you need

and you need them in that order, every time!

Okay let's try with some examples, ready?

question word,

auxiliary,

subject,

main verb!

question word,

auxiliary,

subject,

main verb!

question phrase,

auxiliary verb,

subject,

main verb!

Okay, so what about this type of question?

In this question we don't have a

question word but we do have all of the other parts of the English question structure.

We don't have the question word but we do have the auxiliary verb (do),

the subject (you) and the main verb (live).

It's as simple as that, every time!

This type of question is perfectly acceptable too.

You don't need to have a question word.

There are two types of questions in English,

closed questions, the questions which start with an auxiliary verb

and open questions,

questions which start with a question word or a question phrase.

Keep that in mind for a few minutes.

Questions that start with an auxiliary verb or a helping verb

are closed questioned because they require just a simple answer,

yes or no.

The detail is not really important.

Another good tip here is the connection between the question and the answer

See how the answer directly responds the information in the question.

There are lots of patterns in English questions,

so if you start paying attention to the detail, you'll really be able to improve your grammar.

Questions that start with a question word are open questions and they're

questions that require more information in the answer.

Not just 'have you been to Italy?'

But, when did you go?

I went last year!

How long did you stay there?

I stayed there for 3 months.

Why did you go there?

I went to study and learn Italian!

A good rule of thumb is that closed questions are great for confirming information about people.

Once you confirm the answer then

you can use open questions to learn more about them,

their experiences, their opinions,

their recommendations.

Again, let me show you that the question

structure always stays the same

question word,

auxiliary verb,

subject,

main verb.

So, the most obvious difference between

open and closed questions is the question word.

But there is another noticeable difference and that's intonation.

Intonation is the way that your voice rises

and falls when we speak.

The intonation of your question depends on the type of questions that it is.

For closed questions, so questions with auxiliary verbs

your intonation goes up at the end.

Open questions that require more information in the answers

usually go down in intonation.

An important thing to think about all the time,

but especially when you're trying to use questions correctly,

is making sure that your subject

and your auxiliary verb match.

When you're using an auxiliary verb in English questions,

and in regular sentences too,

your main verb stays in the infinitive form

and your auxiliary verb needs to change,

depending on the subject and also the tense.

For example:

The auxiliary verb matches the subject.

If our subject changes to 'he'

then we need to change our auxiliary verb to match it.

So, the relationship between the auxiliary verb and the subject

is one that you need to pay close attention to

Now, I want to warn you,

in real conversation things get loose,

fast, and sometimes grammatically incorrect.

Most native English speakers can be a bit cheeky

and a bit lazy at times especially when they're speaking!

So, you need to listen for key pieces of information

plus intonation and try to just go with the flow.

One very common example of this is with closed questions,

ones that start with an auxiliary verb),

they can be shortened!

So, the question 'do you want to get something to eat?'

can become 'want to get something to eat?

The intonation is important here so that you know that it's a question.

The intonation goes up because it's a closed question.

Okay, well be sure to download my cheat sheet and audio guide to help

you practice using questions correctly.

You can get it right here.

So, there was a lot to take in that lesson

and I'll definitely link to some other video lessons that I've made

that will help you practice auxiliary verbs,

subject verb agreement and question intonation.

Right here, here and maybe I'll put one here too!

NIKON COOLPIX B700 | ULTRA ZOOM 4K MOON TESTS REVIEW & UNBOXING - Duration: 6:12.

Friends I want you to watch this amazing footage of the lunar surface made with the new

camera Nikon B700.

At the moment I'm making this video it has the highest magnification ultrazoom lens

that exists to film in 4k.

I made this shots without tripod so that you can appreciate the real difficulties of use in the field.

What was previously achieved with gigantic lenses of several thousand dollars

can now be held in the hands for a very affordable price.

Before I acquired this I considered the previous P900

that although it has a lens of 86x only records videos of 1920 of width

while the B700 records in 3840, that means 4k,

compensating thus the visual detail and the quality of image that offers its lens of 64x Increase.

I'm gonna leave you with some examples and at the end an unboxing of the product.

Here you can see, for example, how wonderful the looks the suns with a neutral density filter

that I put in front of the lens. When removed, it recover the natural illumination.

In this other example you can see a small church in construction and to see

the distance in which it was filmed I make this zoom out.

Here again small houses in the distance. I can identify people, animals, cars

... and in reality we are this far away.

This tram station was filmed from the next stop.

Here again from this window in the heights the long distance that can be reached with the zoom.

There are two types of zoom in this camera

one that is optical and one that is digital. (optical reach 64x)

The maximum frame rate at 4k is 30 fps while at lower quality it

can reach 120 frames.

The photographs can reach 20.2 megapixels.

Here are some examples in Full HD. To appreciate them well you have to be watching this

video in 4k and in a 4k monitor.

This camera supports RAW format and has creative filters besides taking timelapse, hyperlapse

and panoramas. It supports wifi, bluteooth and NFC and is connects to iOS and Android.

With battery and memory card the Nikon B700 weighs no more than 570 grams.

Among the cons I find is that the zoom is not too fast as it depends

on the internal mechanics of the camera.

The photos are also a little bit slow in my opinion. I recommend using a high speed card

that supports 4k.

Out of this is a fantastic acquisition where the star is undoubtedly the gigantic

scope of zoom. If your priority is quality or performance,

it may be more convenient to look for other models. If on the contrary you are looking for the best camera

with ultra zoom lens this should be on the top of your list.

Here on screen you can see everything that comes with the box when it comes new.

You can choose the camera in red or black.

The camera can be connected directly to

the wall to charge the battery.

It can also be configured to charge via USB.

Here you can see in detail the structure of the camera. It is very light and the truth is a very nice design.

of the camera. It is very light and the truth is a very nice design.

Thanks for watching this video, I'm Nelson Mochilero and you can find me on social networks

for more interesting reviews, tips travel, technology, camping and nomadic life.

See you in a next video. And now I leave with some examples of photographs

made with this camera.

Bye!

This Badass Bodybuilder Proudly Showed Off Her Excess Skin On Stage After Losing 135 Pounds - Duration: 2:28.

This Badass Bodybuilder Proudly Showed Off Her Excess Skin On Stage After Losing 135

Pounds

Weight loss is so much more than the "before" and "after" pictures.

And no one knows that better than Jana Roller who just hit her 135-pound weight loss mark

after years of struggling with her weight and mental health issues.

As she shares in a new profile for People, the 29-year-old mom from British Columbia

spent her career photographing fitness athletes and grew up watching her father compete in

bodybuilding competitions.

But a lifelong battle with anxiety and depression made it difficult for her to lose weight herself.

(Did You Know There Are 4 Different Types Of Depression?)

"When you're depressed, you tell yourself, 'No I can't' and 'You're not good enough',"

she tells People.

"It got to the point where I knew that I needed to go after something that I wanted to do

for a very long time...I told myself that I wasn't worth it and that I couldn't do it

for so many years."

Roller shares that her 'aha' moment came when she had a traumatizing incident with her son.

"He ran away from me and almost got hit by a car because I couldn't catch him," she said.

In that moment she realized something had to change.

It took a year for Roller to lose a significant amount of weight, People reports.

And once she started to gain back her confidence, she set a goal to compete in a bodybuilding

competition the following year.

Roller spent that time hitting the gym twice a day—for cardio sessions in the morning

before her kids woke up and strength training sessions at night after her kids went to sleep,

and also focused on meal-prepping and tracking her macros.

Her efforts finally came to the test after she stepped on the stage for her first bodybuilding

competition earlier this month.

"I was excited [to compete] because I had seen my body change, and I was seeing muscle

definition," says Roller, who now weighs 172 pounds (from 307 pounds!).

"I had worked two years to get to this point, and I'm incredibly proud of myself."

"This is for every single person who told themselves they can't," Roller said after

sharing a picture of her progress to Instagram.

"Who heard the words I'm not good enough.

Who looked in the mirror and said I'm not worth it.

Hear me when I say YES YOU ARE!"

"You have more people in your corner than you think you do," she continued.

"You are not alone.

You can be who you want and do anything you want to do.

Be limitless.

Be brave.

Be daring.

Be fierce AF.

You got this."

Preach.
