Youtube daily report Jun 8 2017

One day, I wrote a long, long letter to the moon

It would not be brighter than you

But I lighted a small candle

At a dusky park

A nameless bird that sings

Where are you

Oh you

Why are you crying

You and I are the only ones here

Me and you

Oh you

Following into the deep night

The sound of you singing

Brings the red morning

A step, and another step

The dawn passes

And when that moon falls asleep

The blue shade that stayed with me disappears

Even today, I live moderately

I walk in pace, moderately wearing down

The sun suffocates me

And the world strips me naked

I can't help it, there's no other way

I collect myself that's shattered beneath the moonlight

I call you moonchild

We are the children of the moon

I breathe the cold night air

Yes we're livin and dyin at the same time

But you can open your eyes for now

Just like that any movie, like the line (from the movie)

The entire world is blue inside the moonlight

At a dusky park

A nameless bird that sings

Where are you

Oh you

Why are you crying

You and I are the only ones here

Me and you Oh you

Following into the deep night

The sound of you singing

Brings the red morning

A step, and another step

The dawn passes

And when that moon falls asleep

The blue shade that stayed with me disappears

Following into the deep night

The sound of you singing

Brings the red morning

A step, and another step

The dawn passes

And when that moon falls asleep

The blue shade that stayed with me disappears

The dawn passes

And when that moon falls asleep

The blue shade that stayed with me

This Video Isn't Real - Duration: 7:54.

Vsauce, I'm Ethan and what you're looking at right now is an interpretation of reality.

It's raw numbers and then software turns it into a visual representation of the moments

captured.

It is data...and data can be corrupted.

If we remove this visual layer to see what is underneath, this is what we get.

Movie atoms.

These atoms contain all of the information that describe the video's data.

The software used to edit it, the music used, the name of the video files included...to

this.

The video itself, the one you are currently watching.

The raw data of what was recorded not yet processed through software to become a moving

image that we can decipher, that we can see.

If this is what we're given after recording, then what does the camera see while recording?

Almost every digital sensor, what captures the image, does so by first gathering light

into photosites.

To help visualize let's use Ethan as a red photosite, Hila as green and myself as blue.

But there are more than 3 photosites on a sensor.

A lot more since this camera is recording at 8K resolution.

Very true, so we need to multiply ourselves...about 11.6 million times.

This sensor has around 35 million photosites.

Half of those are green, a quarter blue and a quarter red.

There are more green sites because green light makes up roughly twice as much of our perception

of brightness than red and/or blue.

If we look at the visible spectrum, our eyes are much more sensitive to shades of green.

But back to photosites, they're like buckets that collect photons.

We have our red, green, and blue ones that allow the correct color in, while filtering

out the two that don't.

Once captured, it reads it as an electrical signal, quantifies it and stores it as values

in a digital file like we saw earlier.

And then this is what we are left with, a grid of RGB.

If you look at it from far enough away it almost resembles a fully colored image, but

up close it is easy to see each individual pixel.

To produce full color pixels, it goes through an algorithmic process, demosaicing or debayering.

Think of it as color mixing, where it takes the specific values of each photosite and

combines them to produce what color is surrounding it...giving us an image that looks real.

Our eyes are much better at perceiving luminance, brightness, not so good with chroma, color.

Which is why more green is captured since that better represents luma.

It is also why you might not have noticed that the red and blue color channels have

been blurred this whole time.

Let's fix that.

Now let's look at another example...what color are these strawberries?

Red Red

If you said red then you...are wrong.

This image was created by psychology professor Akiyoshi Kitaoka and it demonstrates how poorly

we generally see color.

Every pixel in that image is grey and some are grey with a little bit of green.

Our brain is in a sense color correcting.

It is taking out the perceived blue and leaving us with what appears to be red strawberries,

even though they aren't.

But how do we know what color is a color?

And how does a camera sensor know?

Well, we know this is purple, orange, yellow, and pink because we were told that.

Someone, somewhere in our lives told us what color was what color.

So how does a camera sensor know what color is?

That is to say, how does what this camera is recording right now know that this is blue

and more importantly, how does it know what blue looks like?

Color is a sensation.

And varies depending on the person.

In 1931 the International Commission on Illumination developed the mathematical limit of human

vision in regards to color by finding the connections between what humans physiologically

see as color, psycho-visual studies, and wavelengths in the visible spectrum.

And this is it, CIE 1931 XYZ Color Space, the gamut of human vision.

There have been iterations of this model, but 1931 XYZ is still widely used.

It is also referred to as a Chromaticity Model, literally meaning the quality of color independent

of brightness.

You might have seen something similar to this when buying a new laptop, TV or monitor where

it shows you how much of that color model it can reproduce.

Our camera sensor is calibrated to the standard range of colors, using raw values to calculate

color.

So when it comes to capturing reality, a camera sensor actually does a better job than our

own eyes.

It captures more than we might perceive.

And that is because everyone has a different reality as in everyone responds to color differently.

But a sensor doesn't.

If you and I have the same camera and film the same thing from the same angle, it will

record the same raw data.

But our eyes, our mind, will process it differently than the person next to you.

But still, this video isn't real.

Every color captured by the camera has been filtered.

Depending on the screen you are watching this on, the color space the monitor has be it

your cell phone, tablet, TV, whatever, is presenting the colors, the brightness, the

chroma and luma, differently.

And then your eyes are perceiving it differently.

Those raw numbers we looked at earlier are the closest we get to the reality of the image

captured.

Everything that happens after, is just an interpretation.

A process that over enough iterations will change what was seen initially into something

else completely..that wasn't real when we first saw it but has now become, to our eyes,

reality.

And as always, thanks for watching.

تحدي الكباب العراقي !! شوفو ايش صار !! مغامرات رمضان - HIND DEER - Duration: 10:02.

Hey there, my friends, how are you doing? I hope you're doing fine. I'm doing fine.

This is Hind from Hind Deer channel.

If you're coming from Om Firas' channel then welcome to you!

This video will be in collaboration with the chief Om Firas, a cooking video.

We have a challenge, Om Firas and me.

She challenged me to make a full dinner table in only 30 minutes.

I accepted the challenge and challenged her, too, to make a full dinner table in only 30 minutes.

Assalmu Alaikum, how are you, fans of Hind?

I'm Om Firas, from Iraqi Family Kitchen, this video is a challenge with your beloved Hind Deer,

so this was my dinner table, come and watch it at my channel.

Subscribe to my channel, I'll be thankful. It will be helpful to you.

And it's my honor to make this video with Hind.

So I prepared these stuff so the 30 minutes can be enough.

But I didn't cut anything, I didn't even cheat with the lemon. See the lemon! It's full.

So I don't know if she cheated or not, only God knows.

Make me win at the end, I want you to vote for me, likes.

If you like this video it means you voted for me.

Now we're gonna start the challenge. I'll start a 30-minutes timer now. I chose the dinner to be Iraqi Kebab.

Okay, my friends, I'm gonna show you the ingredients now.

I have here two kilograms of meat, these are the stuff that I'm going to use with the Kebab.

An onion and parsley.

I also have these things to grill, an onion, I chose to use one onion, few peppers, and a tomato.

Here I'm gonna make a salad, I chose to put cucumber, lettuce, and tomatoes.

I have this blender. Most importantly, I have the salt and black pepper to put with the Kebab.

Here I have two trays, I put parchment paper on each tray. Let's start now.

I'm gonna put the meat in a bowl. We have 30 minutes, I'm in a hurry.

I'm wearing some gloves. I'll put the onion in the blender, I have this blender here to put onions in it.

I hope the Kebab won't take too long to cook.

Here I'm cutting the parsley, I'll cut it slightly to put it in the blender because

you can't put large vegetables in the blender, you have to slightly cut them.

Okay, it's good now.

Come here, our cool photographer. Look at the creativity.

You'll lose, Om Firas.

Okay, it's fine now.

Here's the mix, we'll take it. I'm starting to cry now.

We'll empty the mix into the bowl.

If I had a spatula it would be easier, but I didn't prepare it.

We'll put black pepper powder, as needed.

What's this timer, is it working, Hamoody? Yes, it's working. It'll ring when finished.

Okay, I put pepper as needed, salt should be not so much, so I'll put this much, and

then we start to mix the Kebab.

I'm talking to you now, here, I forgot you from my hurry.

I finished mixing it, let's put it in the tray. I bought two kilograms which are a lot.

I need a bowl to put water in it. Okay, enough. You wet your hands like this.

I'm gonna start forming the Kebabs, I'll make them big.

This way. We put it in here.

Okay, then we wet our hands like this, and put another Kebab. We'll make it longer like this.

I don't have much time left, guys. This is a lot.

I'm sorry guys, it's a challenge and I'm in a rush.

I'll save the rest for another time because the trays can't fit more, and we have 30 minutes.

And those other things we want to be grilled, we'll put them like this.

Here's the onion, tomatoes, and pepper. That's it.

The trays are done, now we'll put them in the oven like this.

We run it on 180 degrees Celsius or 360 Fahrenheit. I'll put the other tray in the oven.

I have 16:44 minutes left, it's enough. Let's clean the place, I don't need this anymore.

Okay, guys here are the salad ingredients, I'll cut them.

And I'll put some olive oil on the salad before mixing it, about a tablespoon.

-That's it. -Salt, of course. Okay, the salad is ready now.

Let's put the salad here.

Oh, we have only 7 minutes! Okay, it's enough.

I've put some parsley here because Iraqis eat it with Kebab.

I put few lemons for who wants to take them.

Let's put Samak and pickles, I prepared them earlier.

My mom prepared fruits for me, she said I have to put them before the food.

So I'll do like she says and put it.

Now I'm gonna bring the tortilla and bread, which is the most important element in an

Iraqi Kebab meal. Genuine Iraqi tortillas, look at it!

I'm going to put it here, I'll put the bread here, genuine Iraqi bread.

So here the presenting dish is ready, let's put the salad here.

The dinner will be ready, but the rest of Kebab will be put here.

So everything is ready now, we are only waiting for the Kebab to get cooked. It's not cooked.

I have two minutes left, let's prepare the table.

-I prepared it. -You made them so big.

See, guys, the food hasn't cooked yet. Oh, guys, I have 5 seconds only! No!

The timer is done, it rang.

We should've paused the timer during the cooking of Kebab and then resume it, but in only 30 minutes?

I disagree, that's it. I'm stopping. I'm sad.

So after ten minutes, the smell of the Kebab is out, I think it is cooked.

Great! It's very delicious.

Awesome! Record it, our photographer.

Here's the Kebab, I put it here. Great.

I chose the meat to have some fat so the Kebab can be good.

Look, guys.

Okay, this is the Kebab that we were able to make in 30 minutes and a little bit more.

Let's throw some Samak on it now.

And we are done making the dinner in 30 minutes, I hope I was good for the challenge.

I hope you vote and like this video so that I know you voted for me.

Go and see Om Firas' video, the link to her channel will be in the description.

A glass of water, let's move this Samak, I don't think we'll need it anymore.

Here's the table, Bon appetite! I hope you make it and try the Iraqi Kebab.

Don't forget to like the video, and subscribe to my channel. I'll see you in the next video, bye!

Great!

If you haven't tried this meal, then you have missed a lot.

How Far Will People Go to Fit In? - Duration: 5:00.

We've all done something kind of weird to fit in.

Maybe you've lied about who you voted for or pretended you'd read a certain book

when you actually hadn't.

Or maybe, you've done something kind of like the participants in psychologist

Solomon Asch's famous studies of conformity in the 1950s,

and agreed that something was true even though you knew it wasn't.

Conformity is the tendency to change your beliefs or behaviors to match those around you

or in your culture.

Experimenters before Asch had looked at this phenomenon in cases where there was ambiguity

or no right answer to a particular problem.

But Asch wanted to know what would happen when the participant could clearly see that

one answer was the right answer.

Would they still agree with a group that was obviously making a mistake?

To test this, Asch asked groups of six to eight people to look at three vertical lines

of different heights.

For each trial, a new line would appear, called the standard line,

and the people in the group were then asked which of the three original lines was the

same height as the standard line.

The trick, though, was that in each of the 123 groups in the experiment,

only one person was actually a subject in the experiment.

The rest were confederates: pretend subjects in cahoots with Asch, who had already agreed

on what their answers would be for each trial.

For the first couple of trials, the confederates would pick the line that actually matched,

so the subject wouldn't be suspicious.

But then, on 12 of the 18 trials each subject completed, they picked an answer that was clearly wrong.

The subject, who was last to pick, had to decide: Should they say the name of the line

they knew was right, or go with what everyone else picked?

The results were kind of alarming.

37% of the time, the subjects just went with everybody else,

even though the line the group had picked was clearly not the same height as the standard line.

For comparison, when a control group looked at the lines, the subjects were able to accurately

match the heights 99% of the time.

It's kind of hard to believe, right?

You might like to think you wouldn't conform, but 75% of subjects went along with the group at least once.

Yikes.

Asch thought so, too.

He pointed out that it was pretty concerning that a bunch of intelligent,

well-meaning people had essentially just been convinced to call white black.

But the truth is, you probably do this kind of stuff all the time.

Haven't you ever been one of the last people to join a standing ovation, because, well,

they weren't that great,

but it seems silly not to stand up and clap with everyone else?

Or maybe you've watched a teacher explain something wrong at the front of a classroom,

but not wanted to say something, because everyone else was just nodding along.

The good news, though, is that there is plenty of evidence that we're not just a bunch of lemmings.

Asch's experiments have been replicated and expanded upon since the 1950s,

using different age groups, different genders, and different cultures.

And the results of all these studies seem to suggest that—at least in the U.S.—

the conformity effect has gotten weaker in recent years.

Asch's studies were conducted during the 1950s, a time when McCarthyism was at its

height and fitting in was a pretty high priority.

Today, on the whole, expressing your own thoughts and opinions has

become a much more important part of our culture.

This idea that culture can influence your willingness to conform is backed up by cross-cultural studies, too.

In cultures that tend to prioritize the needs of the group more, like in Japan,

rates of conformity were much higher than in more individualistic cultures, like in the U.S.

And even Asch's original experiments weren't all gloom and doom—

they also suggested that there are times when people will go against their tendency to conform.

For instance, Asch found that there was a lot of variability in whether or not individual people conformed.

A quarter of the subjects were what he called "yielding," which meant that they conformed

most of the time.

Another quarter were "independent"—those were the people who never conformed.

But about half the participants fell somewhere in between:

they might have conformed once in awhile, but they would usually stick to their guns.

Asch also found that the number of people in the majority group doesn't matter as

much as the number of people in the minority.

Adding more than three confederates didn't make people more or less likely to conform.

But!

A single defector among the confederates was enough to completely wipe out the conformity effect.

They didn't even have to agree with the subject, they just had to have a different

opinion from the majority.

And even if that defector later left the experiment?

Just knowing that someone else disagreed with the majority was enough to keep the subject

from conforming.

So, giving a standing ovation when you don't really think the performance deserves it might

not be that big a deal.

But these studies suggest that when something seems a bit off, it might be worth speaking up.

It could be kinda scary, but you also might find out that other people agree with you …

they just didn't want to say so.

250,000 SCOVILLE NAGA CHILLI VODKA SHOTS | Challenge Pete - Duration: 6:06.

Hi, I'm Pete and last week you guys voted for me to drink

the 250,000 scoville naga chilli vodka

Remember to vote on what you want to see me do next time by clicking the button

that's popping up at the top of the screen right now.

The way this video's gonna work is I've got a bit of a roulette going on here

I'm gonna be blindfolded and I'm gonna spin the wheel 5 times

whatever it lands on, one of these guys

is gonna fill up a shot and feed it to me

So on the wheel obviously there's the chilli vodka

if I land on that then I have to do a shot of this, it even says on the bottle that

"Warning: This is an extremely hot chilli vodka

use with extreme caution, do not drink as a shot under any circumstances."

So I think it would be a good idea to drink it as a shot under these circumstances.

Alright, so we've got a bunch of other stuff

on this wheel, including pickled onion juice

and Worcester sauce

as well as the usual tequila, vodka

and there's a nice one, there's milk and water on there for me to look forward to

You may also notice there are a couple other names on this wheel

There is Aydin, that means if it lands on here Aydin has to do

a chilli vodka shot

and there is also Joe

So I may not be the only one in severe pain by the end of this video.

What is it? No, don't tell me

PETE: Is that it? SIMON: Yep. PETE: Where is it?

I really don't want it to be chilli first!

PETE: Is it Worcester sauce? Yep? SIMON: Nope. PETE: Onion?

I really want Aydin or Joe to get one.

AYDIN: I didn't really realise what I got myself into. JOE: Every time I see my name spin past my heart jumps.

I think I can smell it, I think this is tequila

Tequila.

Let's get this over and done with

That was Worcester sauce

Wow!

Joe or Aydin! Joe or Aydin! Joe or Aydin!

Pickled onion.

It's such a strong taste!

Ok, so wait, this is the 5th spin

None of us have had to do a shot yet, can I keep my blindfold off for this one?

Yes!

I'm so happy that wasn't me!

PETE: Are you ready for your shot? JOE: I suppose so PETE: Go on, you can take centre stage.

JOE: Hello and welcome to PeteInABox

PETE: There's your milk JOE: I think I'm gonna cry

PETE: So uh, you can't have a lick! You've got to do a shot!

PETE: Joe, I'm right by your side. JOE: That is horrid. PETE: You've got your sick bucket, you've got your milk, what more could you ask for?

JOE: I'm not reacting...

PETE: What's it taste like?

PETE: Are you actually gonna throw up?

JOE: I'm dying!

PETE: Is it good vodka? JOE: It's in my chest

PETE: Where are you off to? JOE: To the toilet.

PETE: Alright Joe? JOE: It's just in my chest.

JOE: I can't sit right.

JOE: Why did I do that? PETE: Have some milk JOE: I might have to go for a poo

PETE: Joe, it says on the bottle

Do not drink as a shot under any circumstances

JOE: I feel so bad, you shouldn't!

PETE: Joe, drink some milk, honestly it will make you feel so much better!

JOE: My stomach is so restless. PETE: I feel so bad now!

We've lost a member of the crew

He was a great lad, but we've had to say goodbye to Joe

Joe is currently dying in the toilet

So I'm gonna

do a shot in honour of our good friend, and good friend of the show, Joe

The funny thing is, the only reason Joe's here while we're filming this video

is because he forgot his keys so he's locked out his house so he's

just come to to like chill while he

while he waited to be let back in

so I put him on the wheel, he wasn't even meant to be here today!

I feel so bad for him.

It's quite hot

It's relatively tasty, I don't know what Joe was on about

That's not too bad!

I'm glad we got Joe in this video

so we actually have a good reaction on camera compared to mine!

AYDIN: Is your chest not burning?

PETE: I can feel it but I'm used to it

I think it's because I've eaten so many chillis before I'm more used to it than him, I know what to expect

So um, thank you for watching

If you enjoyed this please give it a good thumbs up

remember to vote on what you want to see me do next time

subscribe for new videos like this every Thursday

I might have another shot, that was delicious.

Why is Iron Man in Spider-Man: Homecoming? — Issue At Hand, Episode 18 - Duration: 7:13.

So, Spider-Man and Scarlet Witch can be in the Avengers — but Wolverine can't?

Today, I untie the gordian knot of Marvel's film licensing agreements, and maybe even

explain why the whole thing is so complicated in the first place.

THIS is Issue at Hand, Polygon's show about the strange world of comics, and I'm your

host, Susana Polo, and as somebody who follows superhero movies professionally, it's easy

to forget that not every person has their fingers firmly on this pulse.

Marvel's inconsistent film licensing is absolutely confusing, but it's the foundation

of our current superhero movie ecosystem.

Because a film genre that's defined by character crossovers has to be one that's defined

by which characters can legally cross over with each other.

You'll notice that this isn't a problem that DC Comics has with its film franchise.

The story of Warner Bros. Entertainment, and DC Comics' growth along with it,

is complicated and… involves a lot of names.

But in a nutshell, DC has been a subsidiary of one of the biggest players

in the media world since the late '60s.

This has allowed a single movie studio to have control of the movie licensing of DC's characters.

Marvel didn't find itself in that position until 2009,

when it became a subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company.

Making its own movies, instead of licensing its characters out to movie studios, is really

only something Marvel's had the corporate wherewithal to do since the mid-2000s.

And Marvel had already licensed the film rights to many of its most popular characters to

various movie studios during the late '80s and '90s.

Hmm, what was happening to Marvel in the late '80s and '90s?

Right! The Speculator Boom, a huge bubble in sales and visibility for comics, based on a fever

of belief that modern comics would become rare collector's items — a time when larger

media conglomerates were realizing that comic book stories could be huge phenomenons.

This was followed by the speculator bust in 1993, which was one of the factors that

led Marvel Comics to declare bankruptcy in 1996 — a time when a company might be looking

for the quick influx of cash that a licensed property could generate.

Those licenses didn't start paying off cinematically until Blade — and then X-Men — and by

the time Spider-Man rolled around, we had what is now considered to be the birth of

the modern superhero blockbuster trend.

And that was all about half a decade before Marvel Studios announced its first independent feature film.

The first Marvel movie designed from the ground up with the hope that it could be the beginning

of an interconnected franchise universe: Iron Man.

At its simplest, Marvel's movie licensing breaks down in three divisions:

Rights to film use of the X-Men and associated characters — and the Fantastic Four and

associated characters — lie with 20th Century Fox.

The rights to Spider-Man and his associated characters lie with Columbia Pictures,

a subsidiary of Sony Pictures Entertainment.

And film rights to all other Marvel characters — with some exceptions —

lie with Marvel Entertainment, a subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company.

This has a number of interesting effects on the Marvel Cinematic Universe that aren't

immediately visible to the layperson.

For one, the MCU is at a distinct disadvantage when it comes to Avengers-tier villains.

Doctor Doom, Galactus, the Skrull Empire — a lot of the Marvel supervillains who are actually

capable of threatening an entire world all on their lonesome... are characters who originated

as opponents of the Fantastic Four.

Right now, the Marvel Cinematic Universe is putting all its plotlines in Thanos' basket,

but it's not like there were a lot of other galaxy-class threats for the company to choose from.

And the absence of the X-Men is the reason that the MCU is leaning on the Inhumans so

hard — as a secretive underclass of individuals born with strange powers who are feared by

human society, they've always shared a lot of qualities with the X-Men.

Except, uh, popularity.

But the Sony, Fox, and Marvel divisions aren't even in completely straight lines — sometimes

because the companies modify those old agreements — but often just because comics are complicated.

Film rights to the mutant characters of Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch are owned by both Marvel

AND Fox, because despite being mutants they've spent more of their history associated with

the Avengers than with the X-Men.

Along with Hawkeye, the brother-sister pair were members of the second incarnation of

the group, informally known as Cap's Kooky Quartet, because it was mostly made

of reformed criminals.

Namor, the Submariner, is another character whose ownership isn't well understood.

He's a mutant, canonically — but until 2011, had never been closely associated with the X-Men.

He often interacted with the Fantastic Four in comics,

but predates them as a character by more than twenty years.

Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has stated that the rights to Namor lie with Marvel,

but confusingly, that "there are entanglements that make it less easy" to use him.

And then there's the characters who've been the subject of multi-studio rights agreements.

For example, The Incredible Hulk, which is technically part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe,

thanks to a post credit scene, was distributed by Universal Pictures.

So even though Marvel can use the Hulk in the MCU, Universal retains right of first

refusal to distribute any solo Hulk movies — which is why you're not likely to see

another one anytime soon.

More recently, 20th Century Fox made a deal with Marvel to give back the rights to

Ego the Living Planet for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

In exchange, Fox was allowed to make radical changes to the mutant character of Negasonic

Teenage Warhead but still use her awesome name in Deadpool.

And, most pertinently to this summer's blockbuster season, in 2015 Marvel and Sony

signed a landmark deal to share the rights to Spider-Man.

Marvel got the legal ability to use Spider-Man in upcoming MCU movies, and its own producers

would help craft a Sony produced and distributed Spider-Man film.

Sony could then use that film as the foundation for a new Spider-Man franchise full of references

to Marvel's Cinematic Universe.

In essence, Marvel gets Spider-Man — and potentially his wider cast of characters — and

Sony gets the huge fanbase and goodwill of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Next time, on Issue at Hand!

Season 2 of Issue at Hand!

The show will be going on a brief hiatus for the summer convention season.

I'll miss you all very, very much, but we'll be back, later this summer — because comic

books aren't going to stop being strange, and I'm not going to stop explaining them.

In the meantime, you can follow our comics coverage on Polygon.com.

And tell me things you want to know about comics!

What things that everybody else seems to know about comics but you don't?

What has always been a barrier between you and reading comics?

Put your questions in the comments, or tweet them at me,

and it'll help me make Season 2 of Issue at Hand even better.

Until then…

Uh.... I don't really have a sign off.

Have a great summer!

Contractz on Ray's communication struggles and gunning for MVP - Duration: 3:03.

After I won Rookie of the Split, or after I found out that I won it, immediately

I'm like, alright next split I'm going for MVP.

So personally, that's my goal for now.

I don't think it's unrealistic.

I think I can do it if I have a really good performance over all the weeks in the split.

Playing with Ray is pretty good.

It's pretty easy.

He always has lane pressure.

He almost never loses lane.

The only downside is that he doesn't understand English as much as Impact does, so sometimes

he'll be like -- just random things he doesn't understand, and communication will be pretty

weird for a bit and he might do something that maybe we don't want him to do or he didn't

hear something we said.

And I think over the month's time it got a lot better.

It's definitely not as good as our communication with Impact yet.

I definitely do think so.

It's not like Impact can't play carries or Ray can't play tanks.

It's just that Impact was better at tanks at one point, and Ray was way better at carries.

But yeah I do think they kind of met down the middle a little bit.

They're learning from each other a lot, and yeah they're just trying to do what's best

for the team.

From my perspective it's kind of weird because.

Yeah sure, franchising is pretty good for player stability and whatnot, but actually

getting the player stability for yourself is kind of tricky because if your owner doesn't

get accepted into the franchising, you're kind of just like randomly, I don't know,

in the middle of nowhere.

And you could get picked up by another team if you're good enough, obviously, but it just

kind of seems awkward.

There are like the Academy League teams you can go to, maybe.

But from my perspective it seems a little worrying.

I actually didn't realize I got it, at first.

I was just, I just chucked a W, maybe I can steal it or something.

But I guess my Talisman did like 5 damage or something and the over-time damage got it

So what happened is they smited it at 513 health for 510 damage.

And then the next instant, it procced and took the last 3 health, and you got the dragon.

That's actually hilarious.

No, I've never stolen a dragon like that ever, anything.

Qolsys IQ Carbon - IQ Panel 2 Programming - Duration: 5:03.

hey everybody geoarm security here and today we're going to show you how to

program the qolsys IQ CO detector for carbon monoxide part number qs5210-840

into the Qolsys IQ panel 2 wireless security system so the first

thing that you're going to want to do is remove the CO detector from its

manufacturers box you'll see the actual CO detector here can remove that while

you are removing these products from the box make sure to keep everything in

resellable condition in the event that you ever need to return the items you'll

have your mounting screws and anchors you will have the installation and

programming guide from Qolsys and you'll also have some good information i'd

recommend reading this to cool user manual' goes into some detail as far as

what carbon monoxide is where to install these devices and some other cool things

like that also the the lights up here the LEDs it'll tell you what it means

when they're flashing when it has a low battery things like that now i'm going

to go ahead and show you how to program it into the IQ panel 2 you can either

slide down or go ahead and just push the date which will drop down this tab

select settings Advanced Settings you can enter either in your dealer code

which is 2 2 2 2 or the installer code 1 1 1 1 the only difference is the dealer

code has a couple more options for you I just like to use the dealer code so

select 2 2 2 2 now select installation devices security sensors and you can

decide to either Auto learn or you can manually learn in the DL ID and you can

see it's right here the DL number I preferably like to auto learn sensors so

what you can do is select Auto learn sensor

you'll have a hundred and twenty seconds to get this learned into the panel and I

like to just pull the battery tab out there's a little loud so cover your ears

once you pull the batteries have out it's going to learn the serial number in

select okay now one of the greatest things about walls is its user

friendliness in the programming guide so sensor types we want to go ahead and

select there and locate carbon monoxide which is CO detector alright and you can

actually assign a name if none of these preset words work for you you can set a

custom description which it will announce which is fantastic perfect so

you have the CO detector in there this does the name and you actually by

default it comes with a chime type you can keep that because if in the event

that this ever picks up carbon monoxide will set off the alarm so I just like to

keep it there by default sensor group you want to make sure it stays it's the

only one which is 34 Co voice prompts you can leave on and this is a non s

line sensor this is this is from the older line the 319.5 this works

just fine it can transfer if you have an older IQ panel into this from there you

select add new you can see it goes to the list of the other sensors that we've

added which we do have videos on so make sure to stay tuned throughout this video

you will see it a little tab on the top which you can click which will populate

other videos and at the very end you'll see links to other videos lastly if you

click the show more tab underneath in the description there will be plenty of

links and information for you in there so make sure to subscribe and check that

out now you can go back to the home screen so to test this you simply hold

down the test button

so I'm going to go ahead and disarm the system so I disarmed it and it has

tested properly so that's great and you could see when it actually went into

into an alarm it will announce which carbon monoxide detector went off so

that's why I want to leave those voice prompts on and that's how you program

the qolsys CO detector part number Qs5210-840 into the Qolsys IQ panel 2

wireless security system make sure to subscribe to our YouTube page and click

the show more tab underneath the video where you can view valuable links

pertaining to this product similar how-to videos and our low-cost no

Stop Using Happy Hour as a Teambuilder - Your Practice Ain't Perfect - Joe Mull - Duration: 3:46.

One of my most popular training retreats

is called Pursuing Teamwork:

How to Build a High-Performing, Close Knit,

No-Drama Healthcare Team.

During the course of that day, I lay out 4 dynamics that managers must attend to in order

to get teams that work hard, get along, and wow patients.

One of these 4 dynamics is fostering camaraderie through Teambuilding.

And when I ask participants in the room for examples of the teambuilding they do at their

sites, inevitably someone raises their hand and says "Happy Hour!"

The truth is, if you have a standing happy hour gathering as a teambuilder, you're

not getting from it what you want, and it may even be doing harm.

Hi, I'm Joe Buzzkill, and I'll tell you why you should stop using happy hour as a

teambuilder, right after this…

There are two reasons why happy hour just doesn't work as a teambuilder.

First, not everyone goes.

While happy hour is appealing to some, it's just not to others.

Some people just aren't into bar time while others have long commutes or young families

and evening activities to get to.

And for others, spending 8, 9, even 10 hours a day together is just…enough.

The second reason happy hour isn't an effective teambuilder is because of alcohol.

Look, let's be honest, alcohol acts like a push-up bra for all the worst parts of our

personality.

It lifts and accentuates.

Putting tired co-workers together in a room and then filling them a disinhibiting substance

can lead to drama.

We've all seen it.

Now for the record, I'm not saying don't do happy hour.

If it's your thing, or a thing for a select group from your office, that's fine.

Enjoy happy hour.

Just don't count it as a leadership strategy for helping foster group cohesion or team spirit.

If that's something you want, you have to approach teambuilding in a different way.

Sometimes the best teambuilding is just about helping people get to know one another beyond

the tasks and responsibilities of their jobs.

A funny thing happens when employees build more sophisticated relationships.

If I get to know you a little bit, I might start to like you a little bit, and if I like

you a little bit or find some things in common with you, I might respect you a bit more,

and if I respect you a bit more then when a blunder occurs, I am likely to be more forgiving

and give you the benefit of the doubt.

I'm more likely to say "You know, she's a good person having a bad day."

This is why teams do potlucks and birthday parties and baby showers.

It's why we set aside time for picnics, or team retreats, or formal teambuilding activities.

These kinds of interactions are critically important to a team.

It's what I call "fun with a purpose."

So if you want to ensure your team gets to engage in teambuilding that actually works,

do it during work hours so everyone can participate, and make your goal non-work interaction.

Create experiences that get staff members talking to each other, and sharing and interacting,

for extended periods of time about things other than work.

Now, if you'd like to call me names for disparaging happy hour, then leave a comment

in the box below.

And if you found this video informative, then a great way to show your appreciation is to

share it on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, everywhere.

Thanks for watching, and I'll see you next time.

Meet Bob - Shoulder Replacement with Dr. Schaufelberger - Duration: 1:31.

I can play golf again. I can put on a shirt on. I mean, just the simple

things that that I took for granted

Dr. Schaufelberger gave me that back and that was that that's what I'm

most happy about.

The years leading up to the surgery, it was just getting

worse and worse and worse and like I said, I'm an active guy. I like being

outside. I was the golf coach at Freedom. It was to the point where I just didn't

want to wait anymore. I had to do something and make a change.

I went to a facility in Green Bay and wasn't real happy with the doctor I met there didn't feel

comfortable. Somebody suggested OSI, so I came down in July and met

Dr. Schaufelberger. From the moment I met him through the surgery, the follow-up

and the exams after, It was perfect. I wish I would have come here

right away. I never felt once that I was in the hospital and that just made me

feel really comfortable, you know, I mean they're cutting into your arm and doing

things. You know, you're going to be nervous, apprehensive and just the entire

environment was... it's beautiful here. It really is. I would recommend this place

to anybody from the staff, the quality of care and the compassion.

OSI is the best.

BTS V x Rap Monster – 네시 (4 O'CLOCK) [Ind | Eng lyrics Turn On CC] - Duration: 3:54.

One day, I wrote a long, long letter to the moon

It would not be brighter than you

But I lighted a small candle

At a dusky park

A nameless bird that sings

Where are you

Oh you

Why are you crying

You and I are the only ones here

Me and you

Oh you

Following into the deep night

The sound of you singing

Brings the red morning

A step, and another step

The dawn passes

And when that moon falls asleep

The blue shade that stayed with me disappears

Even today, I live moderately

I walk in pace, moderately wearing down

The sun suffocates me

And the world strips me naked

I can't help it, there's no other way

I collect myself that's shattered beneath the moonlight

I call you moonchild

We are the children of the moon

I breathe the cold night air

Yes we're livin and dyin at the same time

But you can open your eyes for now

Just like that any movie, like the line (from the movie)

The entire world is blue inside the moonlight

At a dusky park

A nameless bird that sings

Where are you

Oh you

Why are you crying

You and I are the only ones here

Me and you Oh you

Following into the deep night

The sound of you singing

Brings the red morning

A step, and another step

The dawn passes

And when that moon falls asleep

The blue shade that stayed with me disappears

Following into the deep night

The sound of you singing

Brings the red morning

A step, and another step

The dawn passes

And when that moon falls asleep

The blue shade that stayed with me disappears

The dawn passes

And when that moon falls asleep

The blue shade that stayed with me

10 Things You Didn't Know About Mario Kart 8 - Duration: 3:15.

What's up, Mitten Squad?

My name is Paul and welcome back to another Top 10 video.

In this video, i'll be going over 10 Things You Didn't Know About Mario Kart 8.

Number 10.

Before the race starts on the Ribbon Road course, you can spot a poster that depicts

a Lakitu in a kung-fu like pose that says "Dragon Driftway The Movie, Kung Fu Lakitu,

coming Spring 2015".

This poster is referencing Dreamworks film and television series Kung Fu Panda.

Number 9.

Four cup icons can be found in the game's files.

They're icons are a Boo, a Blue Shell, a Shrine Sprite, and a Yoshi egg.

The lack of detail on the icons compared to used icons suggests that they are going to

be cups for possible Mario Kart 8 DLC.

Number 8.

You can see a billboard on the Toad Harbor course that reads "Shy Guy Metals, Since 1987".

The billboard references the first appearance of Shy Guys in the 1987 game Dream Factory:

Heart-Pounding Panic, which is actually a translation of the Japanese game that appears

on screen now.

Number 7.

Throughout the Ribbon Road course, you can spot various knitted Yoshi's around the

course.

There are 3 in total, a pink Yoshi, a blue Yoshi, and a green Yoshi.

These are references to both the three yarn Yoshi amibos available as well as Yoshi's

Yard Land.

Number 6.

The 1.1 update to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe altered one of the Inkling Girl's taunts because

the original animation could have been viewed as being an offensive gesture in certain areas.

Number 5.

In Mario Kart 8's Sunshine Airport track, the serial number "55402MS" can be seen

on crates on the carousel.

The code is a reference to Super Mario Sunshine's Australian and European release date, October

4th, 2002.

Number 4.

In the files for Mario Kart 8, you can find an emblem for Kamek that goes unused in the

game, suggesting that he was going to be a playable character at some point during Mario

Kart 8's development.

Number 3.

The sharp, raised turn on the retro version of the Mario Circuit track is supported by

an Ultra Arm.

The Ultra Arm references a toy made by Gunpei Yokoi, the Ultra Hand.

Yokoi is perhaps best known as the designer of the Gameboy.

Number 2.

There was a picture of Diddy Kong among other Mario characters in a Spanish copy of Official

Nintendo Magazine, suggesting that Diddy Kong was planned to be in the game at some point,

but was unfortunately cut.

Number 1.

A map of the city can be spotted on the wall at the beginning of the course on the Mario

Kart 8 DLC course Super Bell Subway.

The map seems to have a similar, if not identical, structural layout to the city below Mario

Kart 8 version of Mario Kart 64's Rainbow Road course.

Toad Harbor is also marked on the map, suggesting that the two courses are in similar areas

near Toad Harbor.

Alright that's gonna do it for this Top 10 video about Mario Kart 8.

If you enjoyed the video or learned anything leave a Like.

If you didn't enjoy the video or didn't learn anything leave a Dislike.

Leave a comment if you have any suggestions for any future Top 10 video about any game

or game character.

My name is Paul of Mitten Squad.

Have a wonderful day.

CLOVER REVEALS 50 COSMIC FACTS ABOUT MERCURY YOU WON'T BELIEVE - Duration: 6:34.

Welcome!

I'm Clover the curiously clever cat.

The last few days my curiosity has focused pretty hard on space so here are fifty cosmic

facts about the planet Mercury.

Not only is Mercury the smallest planet in our solar system, its also a lonely plane

without any of the moons or rings that keep most other planets company but for all that,

its still a curiously interesting place.

Mercury is the densest, or heaviest planet after earth, being made mostly of rock and

heavy metals and to top off the list of bad luck Mercury also has wrinkles.

As the core of the planet cooled, it contracted giving the planet a wrinkled appearance.

Mercury is also pretty banged up, winning the award as the most cratered planet on in

the solar system and even worse, unlike many other planets these crater scars don't self-heal

meaning the scars stick around with the wrinkles.

Since the craters are so lasting, most of the are considered art and have been named

after artists and writers.

For all that it might be ugly, Mercury is probably pretty tough since scientists think

it has a core of solid iron.

That might actually be better than a spine of steel.

Living on Mercury carries a lot of benefits for humans.

You could quit the diet if you lived on mercury since gravity is lower than on earth and your

weight would be about thirty eight percent lower if you lived there.

You would also be a whole lot younger since one day on Mercury is equal to one hundred

and seventy six earth days.

Of course, a year on mercury is only eighty eight days long so age would become quite

confusing very quickly.

You probably wouldn't want to live on mercury though since surface temperatures reach as

high as eight hundred degrees on one side of the planet and as low as two hundred seventy

nine degrees below zero on the other.

Talk about extremes.

There's a good reason for the temperature extreme though.

While Mercury is the planet closest to the sun, it has essentially no atmosphere so its

warm where it faces the sun and receives rays about seven times stronger than what we get

here on earth.

Actually, its not quite correct to say Mercury has no atmosphere.

It does have a light exosphere of hydrogen, helium oxygen and some other things like calcium,

potassium and sodium which probably come form vaporization of the rocks on mercury, one

of the few terrestrial planets in the solar system.

Anyway, the minute the sun isn't shining, all that heat just poofs away freezing the

dark side solid.

Considering it stays daylight for a full year and then night for a full year the electric

bills trying to stay comfortable on mercury would be budget busters.

Though at certain points on the surface near the equator you could actually watch the sun

rise about halfway into the sky and then reverse and set again.

That would be pretty cool to see but perhaps the polar regions would be a better place

to hang out since they stay a pretty consistent temperature though it is one hundred thirty

six degrees below zero.

I said consistent, not comfortable.

Another benefit to the poles is that the crater at the North pole is believed to contain water

ice.

In fact, it is theorized that the north pole on Mercury contains enough ice to encase all

of Washington D.C. in a frozen block of ice two and a half miles deep.

Maybe Mercury is the answer to our political problems – we can shoot Washington to Mercury's

north pole.

That's not the only weird thing that happens on Mercury.

Since its orbit around the sun results in Mercury being positioned at different distances,

the pull of the sun is sometimes as much as seventeen times stronger than what is felt

by the earth or the moon.

What this means is that Mercury actually flexes throughout they year.

Smush a ball with your hand and you get the idea.

Maybe that's why only two spacecraft have ever visited the planet,

Mariner ten flew past Mercury twice back in the seventies.

Though the fly bys only got to see about half the planet the missions are credited with

measuring mercury's largest crater at just over 963 miles in diameter.

We also know that mercury is a tectonically active planet meaning new faults are forming

probably this very minute and that these faults are forming cliffs up to hundreds of miles

long and more than a mile high so that will give any visitor something new to look at.

The Messenger probe was sent out from Cape Canaveral back in 2004 to orbit the planet

and try and get more information to send back to earth and managed to orbit the planet more

than four thousand times before running out of fuel.

It did discover that mercury's magnetic field literally leaks.

Messenger encountered what can only be described as magnetic tornados nearly five hundred miles

wide.

Hopefully we can continue to learn more about Mercury as new missions hit the planet including

one meant to map Mercury in 2019.

Whatever we do, we have about five billion years to do it since some simulations show

that Mercury's interaction with Jupiter's gravitational pull might upset Mercury's

orbit so much it could collide with Venus around that time.

It shouldn't take all that long to explore since Mercury is only about two-fifths the

size of earth and it is believed that the planet is actually shrinking.

Another curious thing about Mercury is how quickly it spins.

Every time Mercury orbits the sun, it rotates on its axis three times.

While mercury is one of the planets you can view as a bright star like object from earth

with your naked eye, don't try to catch that spin you won't see it.

The rotation is so fast that People used to believe Mercury didn't spin at all and only

one side of the planet faced the sun all the time.

Even the Romans noticed Mercury moves fast though.

In fact, the Romans gave the planet its name for just that reason.

They called it Mercury after their messenger god because of the way it streaked across

the sky, well streaked relative to any other planet anyway.

The best places to see mercury are in the Earth's Southern Hemisphere though those

up North can usually spot this amazing little planet too especially by looking during daylight

hours.

It's a good thing Mercury is so easy to spot with the naked eye though because very

powerful telescopes have a hard time zooming in.

In fact, the Hubble Space Telescope can't observe Mercury at all because the telescope

has built in safety features that keep it from pointing too close to the sun.

Well, those are my fifty curious facts about mercury.

Now click subscribe because I'll be back tomorrow with something new and curious to

share.

If you're curious about something, let me know.
