CHOCOLATE tools DIY Fathers Day gift idea - Duration: 6:36.

Welcome to How To Cook That, I'm Ann Reardon and this week we are making chocolate tools

for a home-made easy Fathers Day gift.

Now I know that here in Australia & in NZ we don't have Fathers Day until September

but lots of other countries around the world have it in June.

So I thought I'd get it in early for Australia and on time for everyone else.

This week's notification squad shout-out goes to Kaytube, for your chance at a shout-out

subscribe to howtocookthat, press the bell to turn on notifications and write "done"

in the comments so I know that you have done so.

I love my notification squad.

Now to make these crazy, realistic looking tools you will need some tools to make the

mold from.

When making a mold I like to use Lego to make all of the walls because it is easy to make

shapes that are customized to the thing you want to make the mold of.

You don't have to use lots of your molding gel because you can make it as tight as possible.

If you don't have Lego you can use a plastic container instead.

Once you've built your container take the tool out and pour in the food-grade molding

gel and this just gets melted in the microwave to make it liquid.

Then add your tool back in there and it will sink to the bottom, that's what we want.

Leave that for several hours to set and then remove the Lego from the outside and pull

the mold off, you're going to have to squeeze and squish it until you can get it off the

Lego there.

The great thing about this stuff is it is re-useable so if you want to make a mold of

something else, you just put this back in the microwave and remelt it so it's liquid

again.

To get the tool out you need to cut around the outside edge just inside the shape of

your tool.

And this stuff cuts really easily so you can just cut around that.

Then remove the top layer.

Then loosen the mold around the edges and pull out your tool.

Now I'm going to wash all of my molds really well to make sure they're super clean.

And then dry it with papertowel because chocolate doesn't like water.

And place those molds just on a tray.

Melt and then temper some chocolate, if you don't know how to temper chocolate then please

watch Chocolate Secrets video first - and I'll link to that below - if you don't temper

your chocolate it won't stay firm at room temperature.

I've had a few people make things and then in the comments they've said: "it just collapsed

at room temperature".

That's because your chocolate wasn't tempered, so do watch the other video first.

Put the chocolate into a piping bag and pipe it into the mold making sure it goes way into

all the little corners.

Then bang the tray on the bench a few times just to get rid of any air bubbles.

We don't want air bubbles in our tools because then they won't look real.

Once the chocolate is set loosen the edges of the mold, flip it over and peel back the

mold off the chocolate.

And look at that, it picks up all those details, even the brand names of the tools and everything.

Now some shapes are harder to get out of the mold than others, if you've got any tiny thin

parts like this clamp does, they might snap when you are trying to get them out.

But don't worry ... it's only chocolate.

So we can fix that just by using some extra chocolate and putting it back into place.

Now if you want any of your tools to be more brightly coloured you can of course use coloured

white chocolate.

Just temper some white chocolate and use oil based food colouring to make it the colour

that you want.

Then for the top of these pliers I am going to use milk chocolate so that we can make

that a silvery colour later.

Now to make these look like they are rusty metal and not chocolate, I am using cocoa

powder and mixing in some edible bronze luster dust.

You can get that from cake decorating shops online.

Just brush that all over using a dry paintbrush to make it look more matt with a few shiny

flecks in there.

For the clamp I am going to brush some powdered black food colouring onto the clamp part.

And then use silver luster dust onto the threaded part.

And all of a sudden, it doesn't look like chocolate any more.

You can use silver on the spanners to make them look new or if you want to use the rusty

cocoa powder look.

Just play around with it and try to make them look as real as your dad's tools look.

Try and make them the same colour so when he sees them he goes" "That's my tools!" and

doesn't think it's made out of chocolate.

Which will be be all the better for this effect and a shout-out to all the Dads who have taught

their sons and daughters how to use tools, I remember my Dad showing me in the shed how

to use routers so I could make all sorts of stuff and power tools.

I really appreciate that, thanks Dad, it's come in handy.

Definitely building the new kitchen it has!

For the pliers with the red handle I'm using silver for the top part of it like I said,

so that you've got that contrast.

And now on the rusty tools you can make them look a bit older by rubbing some black powdered

food colouring along the edges, over the writing and along the bits that stick up, then rebrush

it with the rusty coloured cocoa powder so that we can just blend it all in so that it

looks like it's supposed to be like that, not that we've actually rubbed it on.

Repeat that with the other tools until you are happy with the colour and look of them.

Then pour some tempered white chocolate onto the counter and spread it out thinly.

Once it is starting to set push a scraper along to make curls of chocolate.

We don't want perfect curls here, we just want rough curls so it looks like wood shavings,

nothing too perfect.

Repeat that several times with several blocks of chocolate, so that you have enough to go

under your tools.

Choose a basket or box to present them in and line the base with baking paper, then

pour in some of the white chocolate wood shavings and spread them right out to the edges.

Then add the rest over the top.

And carefully place the chocolate tools where you want them.

I think the wrench is definitely my favourite one.

These are so easy to make and make a great Fathers Day gift.

Chocolate Secrets video, make it a great week and I'll see you on Friday.

do not tell half the fact that I showed special

video on the channel, I want to to share with you the hidden

features a new edition iOS.

So it will be interesting - Sit back.

Apple has simplified the process of creating folders and added group

moving application icons.

To create folder also causes

icons shake, then pull one application to missing

Cross and Tapan games and programs that we want to

group.

To massively move Icons on another working

table, simply drag they go and release your finger

of the display.

And to create a folder, simply Repeat the initial steps

associated with the group, and then move the group

the last application want to add

in the folder.

Dissolved folder also Fast - Finish.

The interaction process It became easier and unambiguously

faster.

On iOS, 11 do not have a dark theme.

This diluted with an empty HYIP place just me

vybeshivaet.

If you go to Settings - Universal access

- adaptation of the display - inversion - Smart Inversion, you can

invert the colors, but it is not a dark mode.

This function is for people with

vision.

This function works in 50% of the full inversion, there

errors and after activation podlagivaet smartphone starts.

Generally APple great zamorochitsya on the implementation of user-friendly features

to move files.

For example, you can easily drag and drop images

from one note to another.

A share photos c iMessage will be able to

move the image, bypassing Multitasking,

in the same note.

The new File Explorer, also available in a handy

transferring data from the folder in the folder.

I think it's just beginning krossprogrammnogo

data transfer.

Convenience is paramount.

Take a screenshot immediately option will be available quickly

editing.

Brushes, pencils, stroke and other instruments to

your service.

As I have said in full review, 11 integrated iOS

a new codec H.265.

This video compression format much more effective

previous H.264: for example, minute video resolution

4K at 30 frames per second It will take about

170 MB vs. 350 MB in the past version of iOS.

The same applies to photos.

Apple has updated the built video player.

It is not only the application, but also an integrated window

in the browser.

The interface has received more than fresh design and improved

ergonomics.

The app is now photo It allows you to save and open

GIF images.

Make sure it was necessary to long time ago, but better late

than ever.

If you go to Settings - notification, you can

discover new item - Thumbnails.

This setting allows determine in what cases

will display the text notification, and in which not.

The option is available in the general for all notifications, so

and for each application separately.

If you go to Settings - Basic - storage you

You see the updated profile internal management

memory.

There was a function allowing automatically delete

applications that do not used for

some time.

I've used it and released 4.5 GB.

The option is available for each alone application.

The program is deleted, but absolutely all the data will be

stored.

iPhone and iPad running iOS for the first time got a built-in 11

supported audio format FLAC.

Access to them can be obtained through a new application

"Files."

Thus tracks in high quality played within

programs.

Let us hope that in the future Apple will integrate this format

and in the Apple Music and iTunes.

Any application that not been optimized

64-bit architecture, It will not work in iOS 11.

When you attempt to run 32-bit the application appears on the screen

, A dialog box appears to update

BY.

Pumped and Siri.

In addition to machine learning several new features like

interpreter, which is still It does not work in the Russian localization

and oral calculator.

If you run the staffing app camera and bring

it on QR-code, the notification from Safari automatically offer

go on a coded page.

Fast, convenient, and third-party programs are no longer needed.

If you are the owner of a shovel with iOS 11 but rejoice, because

as Apple has integrated new to control the keyboard mode

with one hand.

Moreover, this function works for right and for

lefties.

With a yield of 11 beta-party iOS developers first received

Access to the NFC module for smartphones Apple.

The new framework Core NFC allows expand the use cases

Communications chip neighbor field, and the built-in iPhone

Apple Watch.

C using NFC in the iPhone, you can It is much more than

just pay in shops.

In normal messenger iMessage there are new effects

The trick of course is very beautiful.

Well, the last, the most hidden iPhone function running

How to grow Florence fennel and prepare kale - Duration: 13:30.

Hello and welcome to Organic Edible Garden and Kitchen.

Florence fennel, with its mild aniseed flavour, is now readily available and is growing more and more popular every year.

And in a minute I'm going to show you the best way to grow it.

Yes I really love the flavour of fennel. I use it a lot in my raw dishes and I like eating it whole like an apple.

This week I'm going to be making my version of a green smoothie which includes some of the beautiful kale that Rob's grown here.

As it happens it also includes some of the fennel.

Green smoothies are an important part of my day and kale is the key ingredient in them.

And later on, Nellie's going to join Megan for one of her smoothies and tell us why kale is such a great vegetable.

Let's go and pick some of this kale.

Florence or bulb fennel is a really easy crop to grow and one of the main reasons is it has very few pests and diseases.

There's a few important things to remember when planting Florence fennel.

First of all, the plant gives off a chemical which inhibits the growth of other vegetables.

So we're going to give them a buffer zone.

We're going to put an area here, we're going to put some calendula.

We're going to plant the fennel.

And then we're going to plant some alyssum.

That way it's not going to have an effect on the other veges.

When planting your fennel, it's really important to have a good soil.

We've enriched this with organic material and chicken poo.

And remember it is a root crop so some phosphorus in the soil is always beneficial.

The other thing about the fennel is it has a really long tap root. It's at least a foot long.

So planting it in beds that have a good depth always works well.

I've tried it in pots in the past and it just hasn't done well.

We're going to plant calendula on this side.

It's north-facing here and these grow about half a metre tall and I don't want them to block out the sun for the fennel.

The great thing about calendula is it's a really useful winter plant.

It flowers all winter long with beautiful yellow or orange flowers and you can use these in your salads.

They also make a really good hand cream as well.

When growing fennel like this remember there's a difference between winter bulbs and summer bulbs.

Obviously at this time of year I'm putting the winter ones in and they tend to be more round rather than oblong.

Another good thing to remember is, if you're doing it by seed rather than punnets like this, it's important that you chill your seeds at least two weeks before planting.

Now I'm going to put them in about 20 centimetres apart.

You can plant fennel all year round but I tend to like it in winter better.

The winter chilling always makes it sweeter.

And because these are bulb fennel, you can use the tops which are pretty insignificant.

If you want the normal fennel, it's actually a larger plant and will grow to about a metre tall and you only use the leaves.

People often say they see fennel around railway tracks but it's actually a different plant - hemlock.

You can always tell the difference - the hemlock actually has a striped stem whereas fennel always has that sort of pure green stem.

Even though it's smells the same, don't eat hemlock - it is poisonous.

And finally, alyssum.

This is probably the best plant for your beneficial insects in the garden.

It's got a lot of nectar for them which they love and it smells really sweet.

And you can always add the flower to salads as they're edible.

The fennel should be ready in about three months, although you can eat them smaller before that.

But leaving them too long in the ground can make them woody.

Green smoothies are an essential part of my diet.

They're something that I have every day and they're a key part of recovering my health from when I was unwell.

I'm going to make two smoothies today.

One is my breakfast smoothie that I have.

I'm not a huge breakfast person but this way I'm getting a huge amount of nutrients and fibre that's really easily digestible into my body first thing to fuel me along.

And the other one I'm going to make is a really kid-friendly one that Pepper loves.

So I'll start with my one.

Now I've got some beautiful kale from Rob's garden.

This is a really nice soft leafy kale that he's got here.

So I'll take...

...one...

...about three leaves...

...two...three.

Now you could cavolo nero or spinach or collards or a combination of greens would be a nice idea, if you've got them in the garden.

Then I've got some edible weeds.

The only weed I have in my garden is chickweed and that's very high in Vitamin C so again a great thing to have in the morning.

Pop that in there.

And essentials in my green smoothie is some turmeric so I've got a knob of turmeric there.

And some ginger too.

Pop that in there.

And what I do for my green smoothies for flavour is add some herbs.

So parsley gives it nice fresh flavour.

You can add in the stalks if they're not too woody.

And obviously parsley's really high in iron and minerals as well.

This is really a very mineral-rich drink.

And then I'm going to add in some mint.

It's really just to freshen it up again.

And because we have it in the garden and then I've also got some fennel.

And fennel gives it a lovely sweet flavour.

You can add some of the leaves in as well but not too much.

So I've got a good chunk of fennel there.

And this smoothie is going to be for two.

And then I always add a bit of citrus in.

So you could add - most of the time I add grapefruit and lemon.

I've just got lemons today and then I'm going to add some apple as well.

So like I've done before, I just chop the peel off the citrus.

You can leave the peel on in the smoothie though.

It just can be a little bit overpowering in flavour.

When they're in season I add grapefruit.

Grapefruit are a very cleansing fruit.

Today I'm going to add apple though as we're not in grapefruit season.

So I'm just going to add in one small apple.

So usually about half an apple per person.

Or if it was a larger apple, I'd just add in half.

And use a Granny Smith or a Braeburn or something with a little bit of tartness to it.

And the next thing I'm going to do is add some water.

Smoothies usually always taste better with a bit of ice.

It also gives a little bit of body to the smoothie.

So I'm going to add a cup of ice in there as well.

So as you can see that's a huge amount of greens.

You imagine getting that into your body without having to chew it all.

It's just going to sweep through you and give you so many nutrients all in one drink.

Okay, so we're done.

Now I'll take two glasses here.

And pour in my breakfast smoothie.

Now when you're blending you want to blend really well.

You can see hopefully through there that this is really well broken down which makes a nice drinking experience.

It's not chunky, it's smooth. It's fibrous but it's still really smooth.

So it's still an enjoyable texture to down in the morning.

Now I have this as my morning smoothie and I use it as a coffee replacement.

You will be surprised but it does give you a lift, similar to what you get from your coffee.

It's very addictive. It makes you feel clean and fresh and ready for the day.

I'm going to pop these ones to the side for later.

And we're ready for the next one.

Okay so I've got some frozen fruit.

So I've got frozen bananas and frozen pineapple.

And I've got some coconut milk here that I made.

This going to have quite a tropical flavour to it.

You could also make it into a sort of sorbet as well.

It's important to use frozen fruit because by freezing the fruit it gives them this creamy texture and as I said for the first one, when smoothies are cold, not too cold, but when they're just a little bit cool, they usually taste a bit nicer.

So I'm going to get two leaves of kale for this.

And then I've got a whole banana in.

Then I've got about five wedges of pineapple.

Then to give it its tropical flair I've got the mint.

You could use lime in here. I'm going to use lemon.

You could even make a sort of green mocktail slash cocktail with this.

And I've got my coconut milk.

A bit more.

And lastly that lemon.

And blend.

Okay, look at this creamy, delicious kids' smoothie using kale and kale's a great thing to get into kids.

It's one of the most nutrient-dense greens there is.

So this is a smoothie that Pepper, my daughter, takes to day care.

The night before I freeze it in a bottle and then she takes it that day and it defrosts and is ready for her by lunchtime.

Wow, look at that beautiful green colour. Which one's mine?

This one's yours, this one's mine. That's our sort of detox green smoothie.

And then the other one is for Pepper and her friend.

So kale, probably the most talked-about of all the leafy greens.

It's the king of the brassica family which are also known as the cruciferous vegetables.

It's massively high in Vitamin C.

One cup of kale has more than a whole orange.

It also is very high in Vitamin K which is great for blood-clotting.

And of all the minerals - calcium, magnesium and potassium - which are often quite deficient in our diet and are really important for cardiovascular health, bone health and for preventing diabetes.

So kale also helps to lower cholesterol in the body.

When we eat a fatty meal, the liver converts cholesterol into something called bile acids, which are then released into the digestive system and breaks down the fat for elimination.

The bile acids are then recirculated back into the body.

What kale is so amazing at doing is actually binding with these bile acids and preventing them from being recirculated, so therefore it lowers cholesterol.

Cruciferous veg are very high in compounds sulforaphane and indole-3-carbinol and these have been shown to be incredibly protective against cancers and also great for liver detoxification and elimination.

And that's lots of good reasons to add kale to your smoothies.

You look so wonderful in your dress

I love your hair like that

The way it falls on the side of your neck

Down your shoulders and back

We are surrounded by all of these lies

And people who talk too much

You got the kind of look in your eyes

As if no one knows anything but us

Should this be the last thing I see

I want you to know it's enough for me

'Cause all that you are is all that I'll ever need

So in love

So in love

So in love

So in love

You look so beautiful in this light

Your silhouette over me

The way it brings out the blue in your eyes

Is the Tenerife Sea

And all of the voices surrounding us here

They just fade out when you take a breath

Just say the word and I will disappear

Into the wilderness

Should this be the last thing I see

I want you to know it's enough for me

Suzumiya Haruhi no Tsuisou - 362: Let's Do It All Again (Part 137) - Duration: 5:01.

At our post event staff meeting, I was planning to bring up Haruhi's suggestion of having another performance this afternoon and advertising it in advance.

Asakura: Can we do it one more time? If we actually spread the word a bit, I'm sure a lot of people will come to see.

But Asakura said the exact same thing before I could.

Kunikida: Sounds good to me? We've already come this far, besides, I'm sure Taniguchi would like a chance to do it properly, right?

Taniguchi: Y-yeah! I won't screw up this time, so give me another chance!

Taniguchi was all fired up. So was the rest of the class. Good grief, I guess I didn't need to even worry about the suggestion.

As for me? Of course I'm in. Not a single person was against the motion.

Asakura: How does, let's say... 2:00 PM sound?

Kunikida: Sounds good to me. I'll withdraw from the pageant then. I'll be able to help out more here then.

Asakura: Are you sure, Kunikida-kun?

Kunikida: Yeah. This is way more important.

Normally I'd make a sarcastic comment about how he was just looking for an excuse to withdraw, but I'll leave it be this time.

Asakura: Y'know, if we're doing it all again... There's a few ideas I've got.

Kyon: Hm? Like what?

Asakura: I'd like to revise the script and make the language more modern. Rearranging it without changing the meaning. Make it a little easier to understand.

Kyon: Hmm... Not a bad idea, but wouldn't that be tough for the actors?

Taniguchi: It's fine by me? Simplifying the language would make it easier for me. I'm sure the others would agree.

Asakura: Thank you. I'll bring the topic up with the others soon. As for our advertising...

Taniguchi: We could use the PA system? We could use it when the festival committee isn't and make an announcement like WHAM?

Asakura: Sure, it's worth a try.

Kyon: But how many people would actually hear it among all the noise of the festival outside?

Taniguchi: Ah, good point.

Kunikida: It's a somewhat more tame idea, but maybe we could print and distribute some fliers.

Taniguchi: Tame idea? More like lame idea. I mean they'd have to stand out somehow? How would we do that...?

Stand out, huh...?

Kyon: Uh, I actually have these.

All of my classmates had either one of two different reactions to the bunny girl costumes I pulled out. First up–

Taniguchi: Woah!? Kyon, that's so awesome!

Starting with Taniguchi, almost all the guys were excited. And for good reason. This is the kind of item to elicit that kind of excitement.

On the other hand, the other reaction was...

Asakura: ... Why do you even have those?

Kunikida: And five of them.

Kyon: ... Ah, someone I know won them in a game, and since she didn't want them, she gave them to me.

Asakura: Haah... I can't believe anyone would have given you that.

Yeah, well you're the one who gave them to me. Setting that aside...

Some of the guys and all of the girls pretty much had these same reactions.

Oh no, I've been poisoned by Haruhi's mindset. Of course normal people would all react like this.

Asakura: ... And, who will be wearing this? You're not going to be putting it on yourself, right?

Taniguchi: Oi oi, having Kyon wear it would drive people away, wouldn't it? The girls can decide amongst themselves with rock-paper-scissors.

The girls in the classroom all began booing at once. Well, that sure went down like a lead balloon.

Taniguchi: Oh come on, stop complaining. It'd totally catch people's attention, right? Don't you agree, Kyon?

Kyon: ... I thought so, but maybe not.

Taniguchi: Huh!? Why not!?

Because people like you are getting too worked up about it! That's what I'd like to say, but I won't.

Kyon: Well, it's a bit inappropriate, right? We should settle for something more high school-ish...

Taniguchi: You can't call it inappropriate when you're the one who actually brought the things.

Kyon: We're not doing it, that's final!

Asakura: Hmm...

Kyon: ... What?

Asakura: Despite you going back on the idea just then, I was actually thinking it may actually be interesting.

Kyon: ... Huh?

Asakura: Besides, maintaining the status quo isn't going to change anything. So we might as well go all out, right?

And with that said...

With me completely baffled, Asakura herself wore the bunny suit, then we went ahead with making our inappropriate fliers.

Taniguchi: Ooooh yeah! I'm fired up, I'm fired up!! So hot, so hot, smoking hot!!!

Taniguchi started up and the other morons were all going nuts too.

On the other hand, those who were bewildered by this turn of events were inspired by Asakura's dedication, leading everyone to wanting to give their all for these fliers.

An act of self sacrifice is an effective way of motivating others to your cause. The class was united in its actions.

Having us all united is great and all, but a class under the leadership of a bunny girl... is that really okay?

Besides, it kind of feels like I've somehow forced Asakura into this situation... Ugh, it feels like some of the girls are giving me a cold stare.

How to install PC games to the recreational "Marcianitos80", explained by its owner, "Rafa". - Duration: 5:38.

'Host, trunk, Ferrari machine, the "Outrun" !! East Jordan is going to freak out.

Like? ... I love, man, I think a pasote

Well, today I will explain how to get PC games to any of our current recreation.

Classes "Marcianitos80" So me you'll explain in a moment because you do not have trouble, eh?

To the lorito!

Voucher...

Games "PC" are "PC Launcher"

In the "Games"

The first thing to do is externally open the game

First externally. Once we see that the game works and it goes well

Here we have our "Hurrican"

OK OK OK ... Perfect

When we have this already open and I know it works

It is important to remember as is called the Executable time, the ".exe"

Acordaros it!

To install the game we have to go to "Hard disk c"

Hyperspin

"Data Bases"

And we seek "PC Games"

And here it would be "Edit"

Here they are ... we catch this ...

And you stick it where? ... Below, just below

You see? Ok, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah ... Okay.

We look at as it is written the name of the executable of the game

In this case it was "Hurrican"

Okay? ... because we catch here ...

Delete ...

And we "Hurrican"

Voucher? In "Description" ... here it is the same.

"Hurrican" as it is written the name of ".exe"

So we put the same

Okay? ... OK! ... "file" and "Save"

Okay? ... we can do a backup

From this

Before anything ... haha ... Ok.

Just in case ... and the other "trasteamos" and "we replace"

And we have the first step taken

Second part

The second...

My Computer, Hard Disk C :, Hyperspin

Rocketlauncher, Modules

In Modules ... okay ... "PC Launcher"

and "PC Games"

Display: "It TOUCHES edit the file" PC GAMES "AGAIN, BUT IT IS NOT THE SAME as last time, in this particular case involves BINDER" RocketLauncher "SO RIGHT BUTTON WITH HIM as before.."

"Edit" Equal

We take this

Copy paste it here ... down ... paste ...

This name change

And most important is this?

That is where, in "firecrackers firecrackers firecrackers emulator-PcLauncher- ..."

We changed

That put the executable ...

the ".exe"

Okay? ... so copies the above

And all you have to do is "Hurrican"

Any ... put the following, we copy

and change the ".exe"

What this does it is tell the "Hyperspin" where the route of the ".exe" is, for execution after the "Hyperspin"

But you have to put everything, right? ... of course ... you take from here

Once we have finished is the "Wheel" video, and the "Theme" ... raise the "Media"

Third and final to play

Careful here because they come in green games

Come on, that detail! ... "PC GAMES"

"Games" ... We here:

Okay? ... and we have here the "Hurrican"

If I give here will not leave me green games

Unlike other emulator, but the games are because what we do in this way

It's a little trick the RocketLauncher

and Hyperspin, because it is prepared for games "PC"

It is prepared for emulators

So from here to prove it, we give because from here we can launch any game with this rocket

If we here now

That would be our "Hurrican"

Whether it is ... no more.

Well ... Did you hear well?

Uncle host, the truth is that this is to be a genuine "Yedi"

Jaja ... But ...

Morán sure and I also explained cosca

Okay ... well, what are you going moran watching

It's a little ... it's not messy, but following the steps, it is not very difficult and can put any PC game

The first thing I'm going to get will be the "Monkey Island"

Well ... that and everyone ... yes! ... Okay ...

Well, trunk ... I think the best we can say is:

That "PA TI PROBLEMS THAT WE going to take a vice TO THE RECREATION"

But right now ... come on, stand there!

Dale cane tron ... Buaaaaaa, jo jo jo

Outtakes

That is what I'll explain in a moment because you no trouble, right? ... that's ...

Step by step ... but do me a "to lorito"! ... Wait, wait ...

Wait, I have not finished! LOL

But follow me Ball

Hold on, let's do the intro again

You like? I love Uncle! ... Well, let's explain how we put PC games

In your recreation and that of all customers

'AL LORITO !!

Hahaha

Q&A Studies, Fairies, Finland, Wales - Duration: 34:39.

I graduated as a visual artisan in 2011.

After that I´v done all kinds of different things.

Studied to become and art and craft teacher.

Been working and done non art related things and art related things.

At one point in life

I got this strong feeling that I need to tho the things that I love (follow my heart).

Ever since I was a child I wanted either to be children´s book illustrator

or an animator.

In Finland there are few places where one can study animation.

Back in art school I did try animation.

You need acceptional drawing skills for that.

Well...there is doll and mixed media animation and all that.

But I love 2D animation as an art form.

But my biggest problem is that I can not draw.

Well..I can draw but not the way animator needs to be able to draw.

Make sketches just like that.

I am a watercolorist.

I realized I´m not meant for animation

and I started to work on being a children´s book illustrator.

When I was 14 I saw an exhibition in Helsinki

in Design Museum about Finnish book illustration through times.

Which blew my mind.

Unfortunately in Finland

art scenes are rather small.

First thing that our (current) government makes cuts is art, education and culture.

Funds are taken away from schools and universities.

At least at the moment in Finland it is challenging

to study art.

There are few schools where one can study fine arts and graphic design.

But there is less and less art schools.

So I started to think that it might be a good move to study abroad.

I started to research

different universities and schools.

I applied to three universities in Scotland to study illustration.

Then I applied to this university in Wales where I study at the moment.

This welsh university which

by the way is ranked to be one of the best universities to study art in Europe.

Hah. University itself in fact isn´t that good. But the art school

is ranked to be one of the best in Europe by the students.

This welsh university was the first one that

sent me the confirmation that I got in and that

my portfolio was so good that I didn´t even need to go into skype interview.

I didn´t even bother to found out if I got in to the Scottish art schools.

Since I got into the welsh art school.

It was perfect for me because the whole course

is mainly focused on children´s books and graphic novels

Especially to children book illustration.

In many art schools in Finland if one wants to study illustration

only option is course on graphic design

and in some courses it is possible to study children book illustration as a side subject.

I wanted to do that full time because I´v never been very good in digital design.

Neither I´v never wanted to work as an editorial magazine illustrator.

Which tends to be the only "real" illustration jobs you can get from Finland.

We don´t even have many publishing houses left in Finland because the economical crisis hit publishing industry pretty hard.

It is bit of a vicious circle what it comes to art.

That is why I moved to Wales to study children´s book illustration

to the university.

It is quite different to study in a British university

compared to the Finnish art schools I´v been.

Maybe I feel that way because it wasn´t exactly what I wanted to do.

When I studied to become an artesan I was focused

on print making.

I do like it but it´s not 100% what I want to do.

In this welsh university

we get lots of personal feedback from the tutors how to develop ourselves as artists and illustrators.

That is very important to me.

Like in my case I am a watercolorist. They want me to paint all the time with watercolors

and become better at it.

Study everything there is to know about children´s book publishing

and publishing and who are other people

working in the same area.

How can I develop my painting techniques

and so on.

Teaching is customized for each student.

I don´t know if it´s the same in the other British art universities

but that is the case in the uni I am in.

Another classamate who is more into graphic novels

they get feedback from comic artist and they can focus to do the things they do best.

To my personal experience in Finland

teaching isn´t that customized.

It is more of a mishmash.

That is why I moved here few years ago.

At the moment it is very difficult to study in Britain because of Brexshit.

I am not even 100% shore if I can finish my degree because of the current politics.

Racism has increase a lot since I moved here.

I´v been shouted while I´v been speaking Finnish on a phone.

When I moved Britain used to be number

one country for Finnish students

to study abroad but at the moment

Britain is not even on the list anymore. Young Finns move to

Sweden or Germany or to France or somewhere where they are treated like human beings.

USA has also become less popular among Finnish students

but that is easily explained.

Ever since Finland became independent equality has been a main goal.

Equality among men and women (gender is quite fluid what it comes to Finland and any other nordic countries)

What can I say from my own experience.

Trump is seen in Finland more as a joke.

It is interesting how much one country´s reputation

effects the way people in other countries feel about them.

It is quite hard as a Finn to study in Britain at the moment because

it is harder to get any grants from Finland if you study in Britain

because Britain has such bad reputaton globally at the moment.

There is elections going on here now.

Hopefully things change.

May´s government is very totalitarian.

Partially because of that I first applied to universities in Scotland.

Because politics in Scotland is more liberal

and more closer to the politics in Scandinavia compared to England.

England is more conservative.

Wales is from somewhere between.

There are people here who would like to become independent in the future.

Then there are people who would like to stick more with England.

Some just want to live in a racist bubble.

It is a very complex situation.

At the moment those who study in universities in England

British or not their school fees are risen.

In Wales fees remain the same at least for the next year.

So I can still hang around next year... I think.

In Scotland there are no fees rising for the next two years.

Till 2019.

But what I have followed news from Scotland they are planning

second referendum about the independence within next few years.

Must say when I was in Scotland last time. There are bunch of people who get offended if you call them British.

You could say that this current government has certain

type ethnic cleaning going on.

For example if you apply Finnish nationality

or Swedish nationality.

It is about 300 euros.

I have few friends who are planning to move to Finland.

Who speak Finnish and want to work in Finland.

When I moved cost of British nationality if I remember right

was 1000 euros..about 700 pounds.

Well I doubt if I want to become British citizen (no offence to anyone)

At the moment Finnish passport is way stronger.

Oh my when I first moved here I thought about moving to London

because all the publishing houses are there.

At the moment if you apply British nationality the cost of it is about 2000 euros so the price has doubled.

I think that´s about 1700 pounds.

It goes along with May´s politics.

She wants to turn Britain a tax heaven for the wealthy.

That doesn´t have anything to do with the nationality.

If you have enough money you´re welcome to stay.

It is really difficult to understand the ignorance people have.

If we think about the EU referendum from last year

about 30% off all eligible voters voted.

17 million voted out and

16 million voted for remain.

48 million people who had right to vote didn´t vote at all.

I just can´t get it.

If we compare that for the last Finnish county elections.

57% of all eligible voters went voting

and there is 5,5 million people in Finland.

It is quite a big difference

but British early education system is very bad compared to Finland.

When in Finland school is free and mandatory. Here you have to pay for everything.

If you study in a university in Enland it´s about 10 000 euros for a year.

If you study in Wales it´s about a third from that.

I´v already paid one student loan back when I was younger but it will take bit longer with this one.

If you study in Scotland it is about the third what it costs in Wales.

That is why so many Finns have moved to Scotlan to study

because it is way cheaper.

Some animals that do pretty fine in Finland.

Like hedgehog and red squirrel here they are almost extincted.

Prime minister wants to legalize fox hunting again.

Crazy behavior.

Sad when there are people in power who couldn´t care less about environment or well being of others.

Unfortunately our current Finnish government is a bit similar

but in Finland people in general are more aware and interested

of the things that happen in our own country and abroad.

Definitely not all Brits are racist

or hateful people.

There is millions and millions people who don´t approve the current system.

I really do hope that things get better here.

At least here in North Wales

people are mostly green/labor.

What I´v seen many people here do follow politics

and are interested.
